PRE-SHOW
FREE-VIEW
FREE-VIEW
Joe Aiello: Ladies and Gentleman welcome to the Pre-Show Free-View of the Extreme Wrestling Corporations One Night Encounter. My name is Joe Aiello and with me as always is Jeremy Piven
Jeremy Piven: Thanks Joe. Tonight we are given the very special privilege of watching the stars of Monday Night Brawl as they star in their very own pay-per-view event here in Atlanta
Joe Aiello: That's right Jeremy, both Brawl and Rampage each get to host a pay-per-view event once per year and we kick things off here tonight with an excellent showcase of talent. We have three Contendership matches along with three title matches where Shadow Man and Kurt Newman see themselves double booked
Jeremy Piven: It's hard to say what will happen when the members of The Force go toe-to-toe with members of The Blacklist. Blacklist is clearly angry with Shadow Man and the rest of the Force after Shadow Man nearly broke Derek Wellings neck in a match where Shadow became the sole holder of the Hardcore Championship
Joe Aiello: We also have a boat load of tension with Xplode teaming with our EWC Champion Tony Savage. These two of course, will be facing off in the Main Event at RUMBLE IN THE BRONX on September 27th in New York. Will they get a long in this match or will Kruzer and Jezzabel take advantage of the situation and pull off the underdog victory
Jeremy Piven: We also have Xavier Reid and King Flip going toe to toe, these two have been going at it for some time now and it looks like this will all come to an end tonight, or light the fuse to a long feud.
Joe Aiello: We also have the very creepy Brett Black taking on Shadow Man's sweet heart Laura Molinaro. Things have been next level strange between these two as members of Brett Black's family has been stalking Laura, causing her to lock herself in her own home.
Jeremy Piven: Come on.. what's so strange about standing outside a woman's house with binoculars? Shadow Man better lock that down because I fancy myself some Molinaro sauce too.
Joe Aiello: That's disgusting Jeremy. We of course cannot forget about the cross-over event happening tonight with Liz Smalls cashing in her #1 Contendership for the International Title as she takes on Kurt Newman, who might be tired after his Tag Team Title match earlier on in the night.
Jeremy Piven: Newman is a professional, he can handle being double booked. Someway, somehow Newman will retain this title. There is no way in hell Rampage comes down to our house and steals a title away
Joe Aiello: Living Dead Karl will be taking on Shadow Man once again, this time Shadow is alone and the Hardcore Championship is on the line. Will Shadow win yet another title defense or will Living Dead Karl sink his teeth into Shadow and end his reign and possibly life?
Jeremy Piven: Not going to lie, I'm going for the Dead Man on this one. He scares the shit out of me and plus I don't think it's fair that Shadow Man has a shot to hook up with Maggie from the Walking Dead
Joe Aiello: What about the epic battle between Metal Black and Shawn Cage tonight? These two are proving to be some of the very best on Brawl and the entire EWC. Metal Black is already a #1 Contender for the US Title but now she has a chance to also be #1 Contender for the International Title also
Jeremy Piven: Shawn Cage is a thing of beauty. He is a mastermind of all things awesome and will have no trouble dealing with Metal Black tonight. The Force is not going to win this match here. Shawn Cage beat our EWC Champion not too long ago don't forget, so he's moving on up the EWC ladder
Joe Aiello: We also have a fantastic Triple Threat match between 3 rising stars in the EWC. All three fighting for a chance to be a contender for the International Championship. Cassidy, Hardison and Louise... all three are people to watch here tonight
Jeremy Piven: I'm rooting for Emma Louise tonight. She does something to my man parts that very few women can do.
Joe Aiello: Well it looks like the ever so lovely Jessica Stroup has made her way down to ringside as we are ready to kick things off here at One Night Encounter. Remember folks, you still have time to get in on the action. This here is the Pre-Show / Free-View by the Extreme Wrestling Corporation. In what is lined up to be a jam packed weekend for the EWC, we also have the stars of FSW and NJFC airing shows tonight. So be sure to set those PVR's and record those shows
For now, please enjoy the Free-View but make sure you have already ordered the full event here tonight so that you don't miss one hot minute. Of course those who are subscribed to EWCTV, tonights event, like all Pay-Per-View event is free and included in your monthly subscription of only $7.95USD. JUSTIN SANE
vs
JAMES DAWES
Jeremy Piven: I expect this match to be over quick, with James dumping off this rookie and sending his ass to FSW
The crowd is on their feet as they look up at the ramp and watch as Paul Turner is trying to get order.
Joe and Jeremy look up the ramp a bit in shock as they notice that Justin Sane was standing over a falling James Dawes on the top of the ramp. He took his foot and placed it on James' head pushing it down on the top of the ramp with a smirk.
Joe Aiello: It seems that Justin started the match already in the back.
The security comes running in from the back as Justin steps back a bit. James is held up as Paul Turner is checking on him. Justin takes in the boos from the crowd with a smirk as he rolled under the bottom rope as he looks out towards the crowd. He just grins as he looks up the ramp with a bit of a smirk on his face leaning against the ropes. Paul Turner looks over at James with a bit of a nod. Paul walked down the ramp as he rang for the bell. Justin just stood there looking over at James as he was limping down the ramp.
Joe Aiello: You have to give it to James... He has some guts, doing his best to make a name for himself on a very big stage here tonight
Jeremy Piven: No he has a death wish. But I kind of dig it
James gets on the apron and has a death glare on his face looking right at Justin before entering the ring. Justin just smirks at him. James got into the ring and walks right over to him as Justin gives him Insane Asylum.
Joe Aiello: Well that fast!
James was knocked out cold in the middle of the ring as Justin just grins placing his foot on the man chest. Paul Turner got down on the mat and counted.
1.....
2....
3......
Winner: Justin Sane
Justin Sane just grins as he take in all the boos with a grin on his face. Justin looks up the ramp standing there was Matthew Gold and Justin Silver for Brawl with a contract in their hand. He climbs out of the ring and walks up the ramp as he was giving the contract. He took a pen from Matthew Sliver as he sign his name to it. Justin Gold and Matthew Sliver with a grin on their face lift up his arms towards the crowd. The crowd just boo like crazy.
Joe Aiello: It looks like Justin Sane earned himself a permanent spot on the BRAWL roster after a impressive and very quick victory here tonight.
Jeremy Piven: I know Rampage wish they got him but nope the best damn show does! Take that Rampage! Looks like that about wraps things up for the Free View / Preview thing we had going on here. When we return after this quick message, One Night Encounter will officially begin. So order now ... you crazy mother fuckers!

Jeremy Piven: My penis is tingling right now, which can mean only one thing... Emma Louise must be on her way out!
The camera shows Emma Louise sitting on a travelling case.
Emma Louise: "Hello. In a change to our regular Make Me Famous segment, what we're going to do this week is talk to someone already famous."
She turns and looks at the 'talent entrance'.
Emma Louise: "And look at that, here comes someone now."
The camera moves slightly and we see Colin Hanks enter though the 'talent entrance'. The camera pans slightly and Emma Louise is standing right in front of him.
Emma Louise: "Hello there Mr Hanks. Looking forward to the show tonight?"
Colin Hanks: "Yeah. We got Ladder Matches, Casket Matches, Title Matches."
Emma Louise: "Triple Threat Matches."
Colin Hanks: "Exactly it's a stacked card from top to bottom."
Emma Louise: "This is normally the point in my show where I'd ask what your talent is. But we all know how talented you are so I have just one question."
She holds up a DVD
Emma Louise: "Could you sign this?"
She hands Colin Hanks the DVD.
Colin Hanks: "Of course I can. Who am I making it out to?"
Emma Louise looks out the corner of her eye at the camera.
Emma Louise: "Emma Lawson."
Colin Hanks: "Emma Lawrence?"
She looks again out the corner of her eyes at the camera. This time she grins at it nervously.
Emma Louise: "No Law.... Lawrence is someone else that I think works here. Not me. Look, just write it to Emma Louise. E Double M A L-O-U-I-S-E."
He signs the DVD and hands it back
Colin Hanks: "Say, you look familiar. Were we not in The House Bunny together?"
Emma Louise: "No, you're thinking of Anna Farris. I get mistaken for her all the time."
Colin Hanks: "Oh. Listen it's been nice talking, but I have to go. Got a show to watch."
He smiles, waves and walks away. Emma watches him go, looks at the DVD and then to the camera.
Emma Louise: "That was this week's Make Me Famous. Now back to well..... him."
The camera feed switches to backstage.
BACKSTAGE
The camera cut to the back and into the locker room to show Xavier Reid pulling up his boots. Deimos is standing behind him watching something on TV.
Deimos: Um...boss…
Xavier Reid: What?
Deimos: We might have a problem…
Xavier Reid: I don’t have any problems Deimos...I get to crush the skull of King Flip tonight…
Deimos: But boss I’m watching this feed from NJFC Collision Course and well look…
-Deimos stands aside as Xavier looks over his shoulder to see KIng Flip standing inside the NJFC ring, being announced the winner of Six Man Junior Heavyweight Show Off.-
Xavier Reid: What the fuck!!!
Deimos: If he’s there...then how can he be here…
-Xavier storms out of the locker room and finds a man wearing a EWC polo shirt. He grabs his by his shirt and pulls him in.-
Xavier Reid: SOMEBODY NEEDS TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THE FUCK FLIP IS IN JAPAN WHEN HE’S SUPPOSE TO BE HERE!!!
EWC Rep: That was from last night...there was a delay...King Flip took the redeye back night right after the show...he’s here…
Deimos: Wait...let me get this straight...he took an all night flight back home...on the eve of this One Night Stand Match...and took part in a six man match the night before facing Xavier Reid...oh fuck...he thinks you are a walk over boss…
-Xavier lets the rep go, he turns around and rushes away.-
Xavier Reid: Is this kid kidding me...on the night before facing me he flies off to face five other men in Japan…
Deimos: Looks like it boss...but look on the bright side...he’s not fresh...he’s going to be tired...you are fresh...and pissed…
Xavier Reid: He wants to disrespect me like this...wants to tour the world and think he can just walk into this match and be fine...well I’m going to show him what happens when you take a match with me as a side project...he wants to wrestle in Japan...fine...but if he thinks he can pull double duty and still walk out of this place with a win over me then he has another thing coming…
Deimos: Make him pay boss...he doesn’t think you are worth his time and full effort...make him see his mistake…
Xavier Reid: You don’t need to try and get me motivated Deimos...that’s not why I brought you here tonight…
Deimos: Why did you bring me boss…
Xavier Reid: Because you are on locker duty…
-Xavier slams his locker shut.-
Xavier Reid: Make damn sure nobody touches my stuff...do this and I’ll talk to management about getting you a shot here in EWC…
Deimos: No problem boss...nobody will touch your stuff...go make this bitch pay...and if it’s not too much trouble...don’t let them ship me off to Mexico...their food gives me the shits boss…
-Xavier shakes his head and exits the locker room and Deimos stands in front of Xavier’s locker...he crosses his arms and begins his watch.-

TAG TEAM
CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
THE BLACKLIST: SAM ATTIC & JTC
vs
THE DYNAMIC DUO (C)
Jeremy Piven: A few weeks ago, during a Ladder Match for the Hardcore Championship, Derek Wellings fell from the top of the ladder and injured his neck while fighting Shadow Man for the soul ownership of the EWC Hardcore Championship. We haven’t heard anything from the Airborne Ranger and we know that Blacklist is on the warpath to destroy Shadow Man. Can they exact the ultimate revenge tonight by defeating the Dynamic Duo and taking their Tag Team titles or will the tag team champions continue their winning ways?
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, the opening match is a Tag Team match and is for the EWC World Tag Team Championships! Introducing first the challengers representing Blacklist, at a combined weight of 573 lbs, they are JTC AND SAM ATTIC!
Sam Attic and JTC walk out to the great displeasure of the EWC fans who are booing loudly for them. The two stand at the top of the ramp and raise a fist up then strut down the ring mocking the fans, knocking signs out of their hands. The two near the ring and jump on the ring, climb through the top and middle ropes, go to two corners and raise their fists up again at the crowd.
Jeremy Piven: Derek Wellings, Leon Roberts, Randy Roberts and Chris Maverick might not be here tonight. But you know the Blacklist has something in their mind to win this match. Can The Blacklist bring the EWC World Tag Team Championships to Blacklist or will FORCE continue their reign of terror?
Joe Aiello: I wouldn’t count the EWC Tag Team Champions out yet. They’ve worked very hard to get to this point and have successfully defended those tag team titles a few times already. But Blacklist could have something special in store for FORCE and the Dynamic Duo tonight.
Jessica Stroup: Their opponent’s weighing in at a combined weight of 465 lbs, they are the EWC World Tag Team Championship, Hardcore Champion, International Champion and Awesome Champion, they are Shadow Man and Kurt Newman, THE DYNAMIC DUO!’
The lights in the arena slowly begin to dim as everyone in the arena quickly gets to their feet and begin to make some noise. “Jizz In My Paints” By Lonely Island then begins to play over the Sound System as three strobe lights begin to pulse in the entrance way, fog then begins to rise from below the stage in front of the entrance.
The X-Treme Tron lights up counting down from 9 all the way to 1. It seems as though every single person is on their feet counting down the numbers. Once it gets to 0 large letters flash “IT'S SHOWTIME”.
A few moments later Shadow Man, with the EWC Hardcore Title around his waist, walks from behind the wall of Fog onto the stage. He stands there for a few seconds with a smirk on his face and begins to point to the fans who are screaming the loudest. The arena gets even louder as Kurt Newman makes his way out with Awesome Title and the International Title wrapped around his waist. With a cocky grin he walks behind Shadow Man and slaps him on the back.
Both wrestlers then look towards the camera with a cocky yet confident look on their face as they begin to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. On the way they make silly faces into the camera. After waving at the fans while walking down the ramp Shadow and Kurt run and slide onto the ring apron on one knee and holding onto the middle Rope, Shadow gets to his feet and in a cocky manor steps threw the first and second Ropes while Kurt jumps over the top rope.
Shadow then gets into the ring and runs over to the corner and jumps up onto the second turnbuckle. He pats himself on the chest twice and then points to all the screaming fans. He then points to the sky and pumps his fist for Memphis Reigns! Kurt meanwhile stands in the middle of the ring and holds up the International title and the Awesome Title as fans begin to cover the ring with streamers. Shadow then jumps down from the turnbuckle and turns around and leans in the corner and awaits for the match to begin as Kurt hands over his titles to EWC staff.
Joe Aiello: These men are booked for more matches tonight, can Kurt Newman and Shadow Man start the night off hot and win their matches here tonight?
Jeremy Piven: Are you kidding me? These are fighting champions. Both men have been viciously beaten down and dragged through the mud week, after week, after week and they still come back. I don’t think the men who reunited and brought back the FORCE will leaving here without any championships tonight.
JTC and Newman look into each other’s eyes fiercely, trying to read each other’s mind. JTC takes a step forward, and Newman takes a step back. Newman grins for a second, and starts to run at JTC. Just as they collide, JTC pulls a trick out of his pocket, and knees Newman in the gut, and hit’s a couple right hands. He whips Newman into the ropes, and off the rebound, hits a hard back body drop on Newman. Newman is quick to get up, and looks a little shocked. The shocked look slowly turns into a smile. He gets up, and runs at JTC. JTC tries the same thing, but Newman, knowing this, ducks under JTC, and grabs him for a belly to belly Suplex!
Joe Aiello: Fantastic Belly to Belly Suplex by our International Champion.
Jeremy Piven: Kurt Newman is the only triple champion in EWC for a reason.
Newman gets up to his feet, and starts to kick at JTC’s ribs. Shot after shot, they slowly get more dangerous as the shots come. Newman finishes it off with an elbow drop onto the ribs. Newman gets up, and drags JTC to his corner. He tags in Shadow Man.
Jeremy Piven: Now it’s time for Shadow Man to get in and show us how to take care of business.
Joe Aiello: Business starting to heat up.
Shadow Man slingshots into the match with a stiff elbow drop. Without blinking, he bounds into the ropes and springboards backwards into a springboard splash, crushing JTC’s ribs. He holds on for a cover…

KICKOUT!
Joe Aiello: Near fall for Shadow Man. JTC Isn’t ready to give in yet.
Jeremy Piven: Shadow Man, the only Grand Slam Champion still active today, schooling the next generation since 1999.
Shadow Man runs up the ropes and perches himself on the top rope. He waits, and as JTC climbs to his feet, he flies toward him, hooking for a DDT, but JTC holds firm. He throws Shadow Man up onto his shoulders, and swings him out into a stunner. JTC regroups and uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Sam Attic holds his hand out for the tag, but JTC refuses it. He instead climbs up to the top rope, and flies towards the downed Shadow Man with a big leaping splash.
Jeremy Piven: Great Big Splash by JTC. Getting a little bit of revenge for his former partner, Derek Wellings. And he’s not letting Sam Attic back in.
Joe Aiello: Do you think that with the way these teams are fighting, we might see new champions tonight? Now he’s going for a cover…

KICKOUT!
As JTC pulls up Shadow Man, he is reversed into a jaw breaker, and falls backwards onto the mat.
Jeremy Piven: Great counter Jawbreaker by Shadow Man! There’s still fight left him in.
Joe Aiello: Here’s a Double Champion for a reason.
JTC lays prone on the mat, and Shadow Man dives for a tag to Newman. Newman comes in, and is immediately rolled up by JTC.
Joe Aiello: Hot tag in by Shadow Man and Kurt Newman is going for the pin.
Jeremy Piven: Do you think this is the end of Blacklists tag team title dreams?

KICKOUT!
Newman responds the moment JTC reaches his feet with a stiff right hand. JTC crumples back to the mat. Newman gets into a mounted position, and cracks JTC in the mouth several times. Newman rises, and assists JTC to his feet, and takes him all the way up into a vertical suplex, but he holds on, and drops JTC in a powerbomb.
Jeremy Piven: That’s a nice move right there, the creativity of Kurt Newman even during a major title defense is why Kurt Newman is a triple champion in EWC.
Joe Aiello: Turning a vertical Suplex into a powerbomb, nice thought there but will it be enough to finish off JTC and Blacklist tonight?

Kickout.
JTC dug down deep to get this kickout. Sam Attic calls the referee over to him. As Newman continues to throttle JTC. Sam Attic suddenly points to Shadow Man, and says something to the referee. The referee goes to admonish Shadow Man, who looks utterly confused. As he does so, Sam Attic sneaks into the ring as Newman hooks up for the “Abandon All Ye Hope”. He pulls out a lead pipe, and cracks Newman in the knee. JTC crumples into the cover. The referee turns around and sees it. He goes for the count…

Kickout by Newman!
Sam Attic extends his hand again, and JTC looks at him as he has climbed to his feet. He extends his hand, and JTC looks at him, he makes the tag, and rolls out to the floor to recoup. Newman makes the tag as well, and Sam Attic bounds in. He and Shadow Man come face to face.
Sam Attic walks up, obviously chewing gum. Shadow Man gets in his face, cold and expressionless. Sam Attic bitch slaps him, and Shadow Man responds with a chop. Sam Attic recoils, and falters, running over to the ropes. Shadow Man runs full force into the ropes and Sam Attic ducks, pulling the rope down. Shadow Man tumbles over the top rope, and lands at JTC’s feet.
Joe Aiello: A double tag in by both teams and now Blacklist seems to have the advantage over the Dynamic Duo at the moment.
Jeremy Piven: This match could be ending very soon. Who knows what’s going to happen.
With Shadow Man on the outside of the ring, JTC jumps down and starts to attack him. The referee gets distracted by the attack and starts yelling at the two as they exchange blows and attacks. Meanwhile in the ring, the crowd starts to get excited as Sam and Kurt start to lay into one another really hard.
The two trade blows back and forth but Sam drives a knee into the International Champions crotch. Kurt falls over onto his knees and Sam goes to the turnbuckle, reaches behind a pad and pulls out a can of mace and walks to spray Kurt but the Awesome Champion delivers a low blow himself, grabs the mace and sprays his opponent’s face. Sam Attic’s face turns bright red and Kurt quickly hits the OMFG and bridges!
Shadow Man hits Russian Legsweep on JTC, knocking him down. Shadow runs back to his corner and points to his partner. The referee turns around, sees the pin and starts counting as the fans start cheering loudly!

Jessica Stroup: Here are you winners by pin fall, and STILL EWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, Shadow Man and Kurt Newman, the DYNAMIC DUO!
WINNER BY PIN FALL: SHADOW MAN AND KURT NEWMAN, DYNAMIC DUO
Both Shadow Man and Kurt Newman quickly leave the ring as they hold onto the Tag Team Championships and sling them victoriously over their shoulders. Sam Attic and JTC are upset in the ring and yelling towards Dynamic Duo as “Jizz In My Pants” continues playing and the referee keeps their hands raised up. The fans are cheering loudly as Dynamic Duo starts leaving the stage.
Jeremy Piven: Even with a questionable win by the Dynamic Duo, you know that the fans are really happy about this. The Force retains their hold over the EWC Tag Team Championships but can they hold onto their other championships tonight?
Joe Aiello: The Force is strong tonight. They start off with a victory and have many more matches ahead of them here in Atlanta. With Shadow Man and Kurt Newman retaining here, the odds are against them to retain both single titles tonight. All of that will have to wait as King Flip and Xaiver Reid are next!
LAST MAN
STANDING MATCH
WINNER BECOMES #2 CONTENDER FOR INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
KING FLIP
vs
XAVIER REID
The clip switches to Flip's face while he poops in Xavier Reid's boots, then switches again to the aftermath. Xavier dumps the boots off on some poor Make-A-Wish kid and goes searching for Flip. Flip gives that kid some fitted wrestling gear and gives his father some money to tide things over. The following week's BRAWL episode date flashes across the bottom while the Fighter Talk exchange windows pop up and down right above, showing the 'Beat Off' challenge Xavier Reid accepted from King Flip.
A side-by-side of their biggest moves (or pops) play simultaneously. Both clocks show nine minutes as they defeat their opponents. Then the screen goes grey as Reid's feed cuts out. It rewinds Flip's entire match, following him until he's walking out of the locker room to see Chris Calvin in a heap of blood. The worry on Flip's face is very apparent. A voice-over from Reid begins to chip in about how much Chris had begged and pleaded for mercy and how Reid gave him none.
Flip's music hits and he walks through the curtain. The last BRAWL episode date before One Night Encounter fades in and out as a recap of King Flip tag teaming with Xavier Reid against two jobbers plays. Reid had caught them off guard but lost the advantage and got hit with a double-team move. Flip runs out for the save.
Xavier takes a beating and tries to tag out but Flip jumps off the ring apron. Reid makes a comeback. Flip tags in and makes quick work of what's left of the opponents. While this is all playing, random snips of trash talk from Flip or Reid is voicing over the clip. Flip gets the pinfall victory. Reid slides into the ring with a chair, but Flip sees it coming. Drops Reid with a kick to the chair. Flip has the mic and is drilling verbally into Reid. Xavier eventually gets the upper hand when Flip picks him back up and nails the King with the chair before using some choice words of his own and announcing the following match.
King Flip.
Xavier Reid.
This is Last Man Standing.
Stroup: The following contest is a Last Man Standing match!
Jubilation stirs throughout the crowd. The lights inside the arena go out as "Cochise" starts up. A single strobe light flashes in the direction of the stage. As the lyrics come in Xavier walks out from behind the curtain and onto the stage.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring first, from the Upper East Side of New York City...
He paces back and forth across the stage before walking to the edge of the ramp and raising his arms into the air, crossing his forearms into a X over his head. He walks down to the ring, eyes glued on to that ring and ignores the fans he passes.
Stroup: ...weighing in at two-hundred and twenty pounds...
Xavier marches up the steps and jumps into the ring. He heads right to the corner and climbs up to the middle rope and once again raises his arms into the air and crossed his forearms into a X.
Stroup: "The Bastard of Volando" Xavier Reid!!
The lights go crimson red with two spotlights on the curtain. K-I-N-G F-L-I-P flies left to right across the tron, followed by a parade of pyrotechnics, then a broody instrumental of "Obnoxious" plays as the spotlights begin panning to the right. A monk's prayer plays over the instrumental as four men in purple cloaks carry a fifth man atop a throne to the ring. The man is a masked King, undoubtedly King Flip.
Stroup: And the opponent--
Before the ring announcer can finish doing her job, Reid slides out of the ring and runs toward the throne. The monks slowly place the throne down and cower as the song quickly fades and the lights return to normal. Reid is laying hands all over the stomach, ribs, and face of King Flip. Reid breaks the ceramic mask with a DDT to reveal that it was not King Flip at all but a body double standing in. Reid realizes this as the four monks in purple cloaks surround him. They being untying the knots around their necks when Reid just begins unloading on them as well. Clotheslines all around, Reid knocks the monks down and tears their hoods away to reveal that these poor schmucks aren't King Flip either. Then, as Reid turns to walk toward the ring to undoubtedly grab the ring announcer's microphone and call Flip out, a photographer stands up and removes their shades and hat. It's King Flip. He runs at Reid with a camera and catches him in the side of the head.
Piven: What a pussy move that was, Aiello.
Aiello: Oh shut the hell up. If Xavier did it, you'd commend him for it.
Piven: You're Goddamn right I would. Happily.
Flip stalks Reid, taking several pictures of him with the flash in his eyes as he gets up. Flip goes for another hit to the head but Reid ducks. Flip tosses the camera to another photographer and rolls into the ring. Reid turns around and goes for a clothesline on thin air, showing the effects of the headshot and flashes from the camera. He shakes his head and notices Flip getting to his feet in the ring. Reid slides in and stands quickly. The two begin a flurry of brawling offense on one another. Clotheslines, chops, forearms, right hands, left hands, it didn't seem like any maneuver was off the table and neither man looked to be showing any give or weakness. Reid gets the upper hand with a thumb to the eye and whips Flip into the turnbuckles. He follows up with a stinger splash, then a Thai Plum clinch with knee after knee railing into the face of the King. After five blows to the face Reid lifts Flip for a belly to back suplex. Flip headbutts Reid out of nowhere and connects with a belly to belly of his own that sees Reid's back connect with the turnbuckles. The crowd gets behind their King.
Aiello: Flip attempting to get some momentum going...
Reid is on his knees, using the turnbuckle to stand up after just being laid out onto his neck, and stumbles right into a spinning heel kick to the face. Flip grabs the top rope and springs onto the top turnbuckle. He taunts for Reid to get up and flies through the air. Xavier rolls under the second spinning heel kick attempt. Flip barely lands on his feet and bumbles around attempting to catch his footing when his opponent connects with a running enziguri to the side of Flip's face. Reid signals the end of the match early, already having had enough of Flip's shit, and slides out of the ring to check underneath for weaponry. He procures a trash can full of goodies and tosses them over the top rope. Then comes a table, but that's not what he's looking for either. Reid tosses a small grey bag into a corner and then smiles big as he pulls out a black "Bastard of Volando" gym bag (now only $9.99 on EWC.com!). Before he can unzip it to reveal the contents, however, Flip springboards over the top rope and planchas onto Reid. Flip slides the table into the ring and lays the boots on his opponent while glancing over at this mysterious bag.
Aiello: Looks like Flip is picking and choosing what he's okay with tonight at One Night Encounter.
Piven: That surprises you?
Aiello: Oh cut it out with the tough guy routine. Half of what has happened so far would send you crying to your mommy.
Piven: No, but it might make me cry to yours. Thank her for that pie last night, by the way. So sweet.
Flip wants none of it, tossing the bag over the guardrail and sliding into the ring to set up the table in a corner. Xavier gets to their hands and knees and immediately notices the missing bag. He crawls around looking for it and can't seem to find it anywhere. Reid finally catches a glimpse of it when he stands up and goes for it. Flip slides out of the ring and grabs Reid only to get a mouthful of elbow. A second attempt renders a second mouthful of elbow. Flip stumbles back, but connects with a pele kick to the back of Reid's head. Reid stole a cup from a fan and, as Flip got up to grab him, splashed Flip in the face with the cup of beer. Flip flees momentarily to wipe his eyes and face and shows his disdain when he tastes it and realizes it's Bud Light. Gross. Flip gets a running jump onto the guardrail and goes for a leg drop on the back of Reid's head. Xavier had been doubled over on the guardrail to grab the black gym bag. Reid pulls the bag up and stands just in time for Flip to land on the cold cement floor butt first.
Piven: How does it feel to land flat on your ass, Flip? Does it feel like the rest of your career? Because that's what it looks like.
Reid slides the bag into the ring and goes back for Flip. He arm drags Flip onto the thinly padded outside, then slides him into the ring as well. Flip sneakily got his hands on the small grey bag as he rolled to the center of the ring. He breaks the bag open on his hands and knees as Reid enters the ring and reveals the contents of the gym bag: a barbed-wire wrapped 2x4.
The fans murmur as their hero stands and turns around. Both men slam the contents of their hands into their opponent's faces and immediately both drop to the canvas. Flip had opened up a bag of thumbtacks and several of them were now stuck to Reid's face. All the while Flip pulled barbed-wire hell off his face and was now bleeding from his right eyebrow and cheek. Neither man looked like they got the easier hit out of the deal and neither were getting to their feet quickly.
The referee counts to five before either truly stir more than rolling and writhing in pain. Thumbtacks are now sprinkled all over the ring with most of them dumped in the center. Reid gets a couple more in his knee as he gets up, wincing at they puncture his flesh. Yet he smiles as blood begins to cover his face. Flip's face is beginning to be covered as well, but not enough to not see what Reid was walking toward. Flip connects with a leg sweep from a lying position. Then does it again.
Flip gets to his feet and kicks the 2x4 out of the ring. Flip and Reid grapple right where they stand, then proceed to grab one another by the back of the head and slam one another face first into the table. It doesn't break but it certainly doesn't feel too great either.
Aiello: Neither man willing to stop. There hasn't even been a count as of yet that didn't involve both of them. And none of the counts have really been that close of a call. You have to respect the ability being shown in the ring by these two men.
Piven: I don't respect Flip and you can't make me. He's nothing but a low-brow wrestler, a poor man's comedy character. A nobody compared to my boy The Bastard.
Reid does, however, exit the ring and go for his 2x4, only to turn right into another suicide dive by Flip. Xavier swings the 2x4 and it ends up between Xavier's face and Flip's torso as both men collide and fall into the guardrail. Flip tears away immediately and is now bleeding from the chest as well as his face while Reid only gets more lacerations on his face to bleed from.
Both men are again writhing in pain on the ground. The referee gets to an eight count before both men stand and slide into the ring. Flip ducks a swing from the 2x4, then rolls backward under another. Flip connects with a low dropkick to the knee, causing Reid to drop the weapon.
He follows up with a high dropkick to the face and Reid lands in the center of the ring. Xavier rolls in the thumbtacks and agonizes over his situation.
Piven: Flip is either the craziest man or the luckiest man in professional wrestling. I can't tell which, and I don't like it either way.
Flip empties the contents of the trash can onto the ground and finds himself some lighter fluid and a box of matches. As the referee begins a count, Flip sets up with the 2x4. He squirts the fluid all over the top of the piece of wood. The referee is at six when Flip lights a match and drops it onto the wood. Whoosh goes the flame and the 2x4 is now ablaze.
Flip picks the weapon up and stalks Reid as the referee hits eight. Reid gets to one knee and rolls under a swing of the sharp flame and connects with his own pele kick to Flip's face. This sends the weapon flying to the edge of the ring where officials are quick to extinguish it before the damn thing lights the ring on fire or something. Flip had dropped on his back onto the thumbtacks as was now wiggling and rolling and wincing. Reid grabbed the table in the corner and set it up in the center of the ring.
He grabs the grey bag and empties the remaining thumbtacks onto the center of the table before going for the lighter fluid. He empties the small container of lighter fluid as Flip gets to one knee at the five count. Reid lights a match and a medium bonfire of a flame erupts atop of the table.
Aiello: No way... NO WAY...
Flip gets to his feet and receives a kick to the upper leg hard enough to make him bend over. Reid lifts him into a powerbomb and turns around, but Flip retaliates with several right hands and hops off the shoulders. Flip headbutts Reid and grapples.
Aiello: THE CURE! THE CURE! FLIP AND REID BOTH GO THROUGH THE DAMN TABLE!!
Piven: Jesus Christ. King Flip is an absolute maniac for putting them both into that kind of insane situation.
Aiello: But Reid was the one who set the table on fire!
Piven: Yeah well maybe he needed better lighting or maybe he got cold. YOU DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING, AIELLO.
Again ring officials are standing by and extinguish the fire before either man is burned too bad. Both men are down but neither stay down any longer than a four count. Once again these men are brawling with neither man having the advantage until Reid connects with a roundhouse kick to the nose that causes it to bleed. Flip's eyes water as the blood trickles out of his nose. Reid mocks him with a wail of a fake cry before connecting with a boot to the face when Flip gets up.
Xavier takes to the top rope and connects with a flying double foot stomp. Flip looks unconscious. Reid shuffles through the random things scattered around the ring and ends up grabbing a crossing guard stop sign on a handle. He seethes from the mouth, teeth clinched, looking as if he wants Flip to get up.
Reid rushes Flip as he gets to one knee, but the King telegraphs the attack and ducks under it. Flip gets to his feet and barely locks a fighting Reid into a cobra clutch in the center of the ring. Reid struggles and struggles but Flip barely keeps it locked in, kicking Reid in the back of the knees to keep him down and maintain the upper hand. Reid stops struggling right when Flip suplexes him into the air. Cobra Clutch suplex onto the trash can leaves a big dent and gets a big pop.
Reid stands right back up. Flip turns into a clothesline, then another, then ducks a third and this time gets a chicken wing crossface locked in. Once again Flip is working the shoulder and throat of Reid trying to wear him down before suplexing him onto the trash can again. A bigger dent and again Reid stands up. Reid ducks a King Flip clothesline, but Flip springboards of the middle rope.
Aiello: FLIPTASTIC ONTO THE TRASH CAN! DRAGONRANA ONTO THE TRASH CAN AND XAVIER REID IS DOWN!!
Piven: Is that... that's a VCR!? Why was a VCR in a trash can under the ring? Oh my God, oh-ho-ho my Guh-hahaha-wd... Flip just placed it under Reid's face like a pillow. Reid barely even moving and now he's got a damn VCR for his face. Flip to the top rope. No, Reid, move!
Aiello: ROYAL BLOOD ONTO THE BACK OF REID'S HEAD!! 530 LEG DROP SENDS REID'S FACE THROUGH A VCR!!! THIS IS IT!!! IT'S OVER!!! FINALLY, FLIP HAS SOME RETRIBUTION!!!
The referee reaches a ten count with Reid rolling onto his back but unable to sit up before the referee calls for the bell. Xavier looks at the referee confused as Flip gets his hand raised in victory.
Stroup: Here's your winner... "Cold Hearted" King Flip!
Reid rushes at Flip and clotheslines him into the corner, kicking him in the stomach until he drops to the canvas. Reid proceeds to kick him in the face and strangles Flip with a boot to the throat. Reid wipes his hands of it and walks away, but not before getting a couple more kicks in on the winner of the match.

NO DQ MATCH
LAURA MOLINARO
vs
BRETT BLACK
LAURA MOLINARO
vs
BRETT BLACK
The following match is set for one fall, and is under no disqualification rules. Introducing first, from Bridgeport, Connecticut…Laura Molinaro!!
“Radioactive” begins to play as Laura walks out from behind the curtain. She makes her walk to the ring, throwing some shadow punches, all business as she slides in the ring, staring back at the ramp, awaiting her opponent.
Jessica: And her opponent....
"Jurassitol" by Rob Zombie begins to play as the ramp area slowly illuminates, letting off a dark crimson red beam of flood lights. Slowly turning to face the top of the stage, the music continues to play as the crowd stands to their feet, the entire arena silent due to feelings of uneasiness. Stepping through the arena entrance, Rich Hunter and Shayna Stevens step out unto the stage taking their place on each side. The two of them look out at the fans before staring back at the entrance.. as Brett Black appears in the darkness.
Jessica Stroup: Hailing from New Orleans... please welcome.. BRETT BLACK!
Smiling wide, Brett Black walks unto the stage area and slowly removes his dark black flannel shirt. Tossing it aside, he nods at his manager, Sam Samuels, and then makes his way down the rampway. Looking over his shoulder once, Brett grits his teeth and then slides under the bottom rope! The fans remain eerily silent as Brett heads to center ring and holds his arms out to his sides, mocking the fans. Rich Hunter remains at ringside as does Shayna Stevens. Back in the ring, Brett Black basks in the silence as he remains in place.
The theme song slowly fades out, and Black removes his fedora, tossing it to Shayna Stevens. He then bounces in place and checks his wrist tape, awaiting the sound of the bell.
The bell rings and the action starts off fast in the ring with Laura charging at Black, but he lands a spinning side kick that looks dangerously low, giving him the advantage. He twists Laura's arm around with a standing arm bar and tries to rip it out of its socket. Laura, who is significantly smaller than her opponent, wiggles her way to the ropes; but instead of breaking the hold, BLACK fires her into the far side ropes.
Aiello: Here comes Laura on the rebound!
Black leaps forward with a clothesline, but Laura ducks under and waits. When Black turns around, she lands a quick standing dropkick.
Crowd: YEAH!
Aiello: What a show of athleticism. Did you see how high she free leapt into the air?
Piven: Does that make her like a pogo stick?
Aiello: Sort of...
As Black gets up, Laura hurls him across the ring with a deep arm drag takedown. Black scrambles quickly, but is met with a running hurricanrana.
Aiello: This has been a high paced match already.
Piven: Let's go Brett!
Laura follows up her high risk maneuver with a springboard double knee drop and then, up in a flash, she drops a quick leg drop across Black's throat. Making sure to point Black's body away from the ropes, Laura flips him over and applies a surfboard stretch. The referee is checking Black, who is screaming in agony. Laura pulls back on his arms, wrenching his spine into a deep curve.
Aiello: Black looks to be in tremendous pain, folks.
With the referee focused on Black, Shayna leans in under the ropes, and claws Laura's eyes.
Laura: AAARRGH!!!
Laura starts to grab at the scratches that were brought over her unsuspecting eyes and Shayna looks sluttily-innocent at the referee.
Piven: There you go, Shayna!
Aiello: That is cheating, Jer.
Piven: Pretty girls never cheat, they improvise.
Black capitalizes on the help from his sister by getting up first and delivering a one armed bulldog! The crowd boos loudly. As he gets to his feet, Black screams, "SHUT UP!" and slaps Laura with a snapping scoop power slam. On the outside, Shayna is screaming for Black to stay on her. BLACK fires Laura into the ropes and lands a spinning backbreaker. He then stands and delivers a double foot stomp directly to Laura's stomach.
Aiello: That may have broken a rib or taken all the air out of her lungs.
BLACK follows up the momentum with a pile driver. Laura writhes around in pain while BLACK again taunts the crowd. He locks Laura in a waist lock and goes to send her up and over with a belly to back suplex, but Laura flips out and lands on her feet. She kicks Black in the ribs, but her foot is caught by a smirking Black. Laura gets the last laugh as she twists upward to nearly decapitate Black with an Ensuiguri.
Aiello: That will certainly change your point of view. Can you believe that impact?
Piven: Brett Black is never accused of being a rocket scientist, but that probably did rattle his brain around a bit. Anyone else getting a total hard-on?
Laura runs to the turnbuckle, scaling to the second rope to throw herself off with a senton bomb that nails squarely on target. Laura continues the assault before Black can get to his feet, landing a flurry of kicks and punches that send him staggering. While reeling, Black feels the wrath of a spinning wheel kick to the face that clears his sinuses.
Aiello: She knocked the snot out of him with that kick. Laura has some of the strongest legs in the business. For a woman her size to generate that kind of velocity is incredible.
Piven: Snot is gross.
Laura hits a flipping neck breaker, leaving Black sitting up, she hits the opposite ropes and lands a baseball slide dropkick into Black's ribs. She springboards to her feet and then lands a leg drop lariat.
Aiello: Laura Molinaro is on fire.
Laura continues her flurry as she starts to stalk Black as he slowly gets to his feet. As she does, Shayna jumps onto the ring apron. While Laura catches Black with MayDay!; Shayna flashes the referee and there is NO CHANCE he notices the need to count the pin fall.
Aiello: Come on, Ref!
Piven: Come on what? Shayna is helping her brother with some of her most expensive assets.
Crowd: [Jeers of turn around referee start to come from the crowd.]
After seemingly 10 seconds or more, Laura gets to her feet and Shayna covers herself. Laura has the referee's attention, but does not see Black behind her. Black quickly moves in with a wicked lariat style clothesline that sends Laura twisting to the mat, her head landing hard. She gets up dazed as Black shakes out his own cobwebs a bit, then moves in. He yanks her into position, and hits….
Piven: Black Out!! The Black out bomb connects!!!!
Aiello: This might be it!!

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
WINNER BECOMES #3 CONTENDER FOR INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
SABRIYNN CASSIDY
vs
SLADE HARDISON
vs
EMMA LOUISE
The long intro to "New Noise" by Refuse blasts around the arena as the camera starts to look around the arena.
Stroup: The following contest is scheduled for one fall…
Smoke rises up from the stage as the intro still plays.
Stroup: and is the triple threat match to determine the number 3 contender for the International Championship.
The song starts to scream the lyrics as the lights turn into a strobe. Sabriynn Cassidy, wearing a long black steampunk trench coat and steampunk goggles, runs out from the curtains and goes through the smoke. Sabriynn headbangs to the music and throws up the devil horns.
Stroup: Introducing first, weighing in at 110lbs, from Cleveland, Ohio, Sabriynn Cassidy!
She jogs to the ring tagging the fans hands. She then jumps on the apron and goes into the ring. She stands on the 2nd rope spreading her arms out and getting the crowd hyped up for the match. She jumps off the 2nd ropes and waits for her opponents.
“All Hustle, No Luck” by Easy Lantana begins to play all over the arena. Slade Hardison runs out onto the stage jumping up and down.
Stroup: And her opponent, weighing 225lbs, hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, Slade Hardison!
Slade then starts pumping up the crowd by lifting his hands up and down. Slade begins to walk down the ramp and stops in the middle of the ramp. Slade looks around the crowd and starts hitting his fist on his chest. On the 5th time, the pyros explode up and down the ramp. Slade continues his walk to the ring, giving hi-fives to the fans. Slade then jumps onto the apron and gets into the ring. Slade walks to the nearest turnbuckle, climbs it, and lifts his hands up and down.
"This Little Girl" by Cady Groves plays and Emma steps through the curtain.
Stroup: And, making her way to the ring, weighing in at 125lbs, from London, England, Emma Louise!
She blows a kiss to the crowd and then walks, half dancing to the ring where she slips feet first through the ropes like an envelope. The referee calls the competitors to the center of the ring quickly for the start of the match.
Alello: Three fan favorites and three rising stars are ready to do battle tonight to become number 3 contender for the International Championship. This could be a star-making night for one of these wrestlers. I am very excited for this match
Piven: I don’t like any of them, Joe. I don’t understand how three people could be so earnest. At least one of these ‘fan favorites’ will show their true colours before the end of the night. I will say though, Emma Louise is all kinds of fine
The three competitors circle the ring, slowly moving towards each other. Cassidy is the first to make her move, stepping towards Hardison and going straight for the arm. She locks in an arm wringer, but Cassidy rolls forward out of the move and locks in one of his own with only one hand. He reaches with the other to take Louise’s arm into the same move. Both women roll through and take him down with a double leg sweep followed by a double elbow drop. The women both kip up simultaneously and stare each other down over the applause of the crowd.
Piven: These guys are looking pretty smug right now. Two of them won’t be looking so pleased with themselves by the end of the match.
Alello: We’re watching three of the hottest stars in the world right now, and this is the biggest opportunity any of them has ever had. The crowd is coming alive!
Cassidy and Louise lock up. Cassidy takes the early advantage with a wrist lock, which Louise counters to a headlock. Cassidy pushes her off into the ropes and Louise counters with a cross body. Hardison, back to his feet, quickly pulls Louise off the cover and drops a quick elbow on Cassidy. Louise takes advantage of both of her opponents being down, setting up Hardison for a sunset flip, but he counters with a back drop that sends Louise over the ropes and crashing to the floor.
Alello: I think she hit her head on the way down.
As Hardison is looking over the ropes to check on Louise, Cassidy goes for a roll up, but Hardison rolls straight through putting Cassidy on her back and flipping to his feet. He looks out to the crowd. Cassidy gets quickly to her feet and Hardison goes for the clothesline. Cassidy ducks, hits the ropes and comes back with a hurricanrana which sends Hardison to the mat.
He quickly gets back to his feet, goes for another clothesline, which again Cassidy ducks. She goes for the dropkick which he counters, flipping her into the air. She lands on her feet, but he hits her with a dropkick of his own. Cassidy rolls out of the ring before Hardison has a chance to capitalise. Louise is now up on the apron, and hits Hardison with a springboard tornado DDT. She looks around the ring, seeing her only opponent down, and climbs to the top rope.
Cassidy comes back into the ring as Louise turns around, signalling to the crowd for a moonsault. Cassidy stops Louise, and climbs to the second rope, setting up Louise for a big back drop. Hardison is on his feet now, and gets under Cassidy. As Cassidy lifts Louise for the back drop, Hardison drives them both down to the canvas with a powerbomb.
He goes for the cover on Cassidy.
1.2.
She kicks out. He goes for the cover on Louise.
1.2.
She kicks out. Duelling chants for the three fan favourites break out across the crowd.
Alello: Hardison there with a couple of near falls. He’s working hard for the win with those quick covers. The competitors are battling to get back to their feet.
Piven: Maybe he’s just too lazy to bother with another move.
Hardison pulls Cassidy to her feet and sets her up for the Kentucky Drop, but she counters, rolling him into the Coolest Armbar Ever. Hardison struggles, but cannot escape the submission hold.
Cassidy pulls back on the armbar, the effort clear on her face, as the ref checks on Hardison. Louise, back to her feet, hits a thrust kick right to the face of Cassidy.
Cassidy rolls to the outside and Louise locks in her own version of the Coolest Armbar Ever. Hardison reaches for the ropes and gets there. The referee calls for the break and Louise immediately breaks the hold.
Alello: Both women focusing on Slade’s arm. Cassidy’s armbar is one of the most effective submission moves in the game today.
Louise waits for Hardison to get to his feet. He is clearly struggling to put pressure on his right arm. Louise goes for the Irish whip with his left arm, but Hardison counters, sending Louise into the ropes and back into the spinebuster. He hits the ropes and comes back for a big splash which Louise rolls out of the way of. She goes for the Irish whip to the corner and hits a running splash in the corner. As Hardison stumbles out of the corner he walks straight in to an En-Emma. She goes for the cover.
1.2.
Cassidy breaks up the pin with a springboard leg drop to the back of Louise’s head. She covers Louise.
1.2.
Louise kicks out. Cassidy walks over to Hardison and grabs his arm for the Coolest Armbar Ever. He rolls through into a pin before she can lock the move in.
1.2.
Alello: So close to a finish there! One of these wrestlers will walk out of here with that contendership and one step closer to the title!
Piven: Just wait for it, Joe. Someone’s going to get hit with a chair any minute now. The stakes here are too high!
All three competitors get to their feet in the middle of the ring, Hardison holding his arm, Cassidy and Louise both looking tired now. Louise charges at Cassidy with a spear attempt, but Cassidy sidesteps and Louise goes straight through the ropes and head first into the barricade.
Hardison whips Cassidy to the ropes, hits the spinebuster, goes for the big splash but Cassidy moves early, Hardison steps over her, she leaps to her feet and goes for her diving cross body. Hardison catches her in the move.
Hardison sets up Cassidy for the Kentucky Drop, and again she counters into the Coolest Armbar Ever. Hardison is down in the middle of the ring. Louise is down on the outside. It is locked in. Hardison taps.
The referee raises Cassidy’s hand in victory; the bell rings as Hardison clutches at his arm in the ring and Louise slowly gets to her feet at ringside.
Alello: Sabriynn Cassidy has done it!
Stroup: Here is your winner and number 3 contender for the International Championship, Sabriynn Cassidy!
Aiello: What an incredible match. Sabriynn has put the EWC on notice with an impressive win here tonight. Before our next match starts, lets take a look at some highlight videos of both Metal Black and Shawn Cage
The feed cuts to some incredible highlights of Shawn Cage and Metal Black
SINGLES MATCH
WINNER BECOMES #1 CONTENDER FOR INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
SHAWN CAGE
vs
METAL BLACK
(#1 CONTENDER FOR US TITLE)
The lights dim as a few acoustic cords get strummed over the PA. As "Conditions of my Parole" by Puscifer hits in full blast, Metal Black emerges from the back in a leather jacket and... frankly, not a whole lot else. With a pool cue slung over one shoulder and a Black & Mild cigar tucked between her lips, she takes her time making her way down the ramp. She high fives fans, she stops to lean over the guard rail and let them take pictures with her, and otherwise seems to be having the time of her life.
Metal Black leans her pool cue up against the apron before sliding under the bottom rope and into the ring. She paces around a bit before putting her cigar out on one of the turnbuckles, then flicks it to the floor and pull herself up on the corner. The cheers of the crowd heighten for a moment as she grabs the edges of her jacket, hesitantly... then tugs it from her shoulders, tossing the jacket to the referee and revealing what might well be the lewdest ring attire in professional wrestling.
Jessica: And her opponent, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada…weighing in at 240 pounds…”The Canadian Controversy” Shawn Cage!!!
"Attention Citizens..
This is a city wide announcement..
A level red situation is in effect..
All non-essential personal evacuate immediately to your designated zones ..
Repeat.. WARNING LEVEL RED!
Evacuate! Evacuate! Evacuate!"
"Playing the Saint” By Digital Summer plays throughout the arena, after the opening part of the song the arena fades into pitch black. As the music begins to pick up, the stage lights flash white in between the pitch blackness to match the beat of the guitar.
"Maybe I want you to hate me
Sick of your point of view
I hope you choke on the irony
That you're criticizing me
When you're the one too blind to see
The forest through the trees"
Shawn walks out from the back through a pyro like rain while the lights fade to a black light purplish red effect and huge amounts of red and silver pyro shoot out from the sides and top of the entrance way ramp following by two over sized Canadian Flags eclipsing both sides of the entrance ramp as the music continued to play in the background over the sound system.
"You're playing the saint
Just playing the saint
Just playing the saint
You can't judge me
Who the hell are you to judge?
Anybody else
When you are not exactly
Innocent yourself
You're just playing the saint
You're just playing the saint
You're just pretending to be what
You could never be
(You're no better than me)"
Shawn Cage has his attention focused on taking his time while walking down to the ring, slapping a few hands of fans at ringside and getting into the face of some of the fans who have choice words for him. He stops and looks around at the fans and gets a mixture of boos and cheers, he then makes his way to the ring. Once there he runs up the steel steps and onto the apron.
"You think you're so damn perfect
Well I think you're worthless
I don't care what you think of me
I'm better than you'll ever be
Take a look inside the mirror
Before you throw your stones at me
You're playing the saint
Just playing the saint
Just playing the saint
You can't judge me"
He then grabs the top rope and flips over into the ring, stopping in the center of the ring as the fans boo and cheer, some throw random trash into the ring in an attempt to hit and others snap pictures of him as he taunts them with his last name is then spelled out in silver and red pyro behind him on a structure that was lowered from the rafters.
"Who the hell are you to judge?
Anybody else
When you are not exactly
Innocent yourself
You're just playing the saint
You're just playing the saint
You're just pretending to be what
You could never be
(You're no better than me)
I can see right through you
And everything that you do
(You lie, you lie!)
Your deceiving smile doesn't conceal you
(You lie, you lie!)
A face made of glass
That I can see through
Your faith is your mask
To hide the real you
But I can see through
I can see right through you
It's so damn easy to see
You fake everything
You're a sinner in saints clothing"
He then takes off his hoodie, earrings, lip and eyebrow ring and places it on the outside and then calls to a member of the ringside crew to come and grab his items, He then reaches into his pocket he pulls out a pair of padded MMA black gloves and begins to put them on and stretch out using the ring ropes, awaiting the bell while slipping a mouth guard in-between his teeth.
DING DING DING
[MB reacts quickly to the bell, rushing across the ring and swinging a high fist at Cage's head. It connects, rocking and stumbling him back into the corner. Rapid-fire punches follow to the gut, with Cage barely able to put up any sort of resistance, his retaliatory punches coming as mere glancing blows.
Changing tact, Cage changes punching for pushing, and manages to shove MB back, giving some distance... But only for a few seconds, as MB charges in once more, arm wrapping around the throat with a corner-clothesline. She moves to the side and lets Cage stumble forward, before pushing off the ropes to deliver a bulldog that takes the action to the canvas for the first time in the match.
They're not down long, as both rise quickly off the impact. MB is just that bit quicker, which allows her to go straight for a front-facelock.]
Aiello: It seems Cage's mind games have backfired as it's MB looking to use her speed to her advantage to hold Cage down.
Piven: Control the head and the body will follow... simple anatomy.
[MB does her best, and does appear to have the upper hand momentarily... However it is just a moment, as Cage fights to his feet. MB adjusts her grip, twisting around into a headlock and executing a sloppy headlock takedown (which is forgiveable considering the height difference) that maintains her control. Once again the command seems limited, as Cage pulls himself up towards standing.
Driving backwards, Cage uses the ropes to launch MB off, watching MB hit the far ropes before planting his feet.
MB looks to shoulder-tackle on her charge in, but finds resistance, and it's her that ends up taking the fall to the mat. Angered, MB shoots up, charging the ropes again. She once again bounces off the wall that is Cage, coming up further annoyed, and gesturing for Cage to take a run. He agrees, but clings onto the ropes upon reaching them, waiting for MB to charge in after him before flipping her over the top rope, turning just in time to watch MB land with a crunch at ringside.]
Aiello: Cage turning the tide… And I think he's about to take to the air...
Piven: Brace yourself MB, this is going to hurt a little... Who am I kidding... This will hurt a lot...
[Cage shoots across the ring, building momentum before diving through the ropes, wiping out MB at ringside with a suicide dive.
Landing somewhat on his feet, Cage is quick to throw a fist in the air, exchanging with fans at ringside while planning his next move.
The ref leans through the ropes and calls for the action to return to the ring, starting his count]

[MB stalks a rising Cage, timing her approach to be directly behind the sizeable athlete. Reaching up she takes Cage around the head, pulling him backwards while snapping down into a hangman's neckbreaker. This is followed by MB hooking a leg in the first cover of the contest]

KICKOUT!!
[MB lets no emotion show at the unsuccessful fall. Instead she looks to press on, taking Cage by the head and helping him to standing. It's here that Cage raises his right hand to MB's face, finding the eye and giving it a quick rake. MB recoils back, clutching at her face as the ref admonishes Cage.]
Aiello: And the underhanded tactics begin.
Piven: It's not underhanded, it's well within the rules.. Well, not entirely within them, but it's a blurred line... Kinda... So long as nobody sees it...
[Cage reaches out for MB's arm, then whips her off into a corner. Charging in after, MB takes a body avalanche splash that damn near crushes her into the turnbuckles. She falls out of the corner, landing with a bump. Cage is already in motion, springing off the opposite ropes and coming back with a running splash. He stays in position, making his first cover of the match.]

KICKOUT!!
[MB throws up her shoulder, getting cheers and gasps from the crowd. Cage looks surprised at the kickout, the shock turning into a slow shake of the head, the ringside camera just about picking up him muttering about that being a “bad idea... A very bad idea” before he plants a stiff headbutt to keep MB down. He adjusts his opponent's position, before rising to his feet and grabbing hold of the top rope, starting his climb up.]
Aiello: Cage thinking high risk here... What would possess him to go all the way up there?
Piven: A large weight falling off a large height? C'mon Joseph, we all know you're an undercover science-y nerd... Height plus weight plus falling equals a whole load of pain...
[Cage reaches the top rope and struggles for balance. He releases the metal rod, straightens up, and immediately leaps backwards.]
Aiello: MOONSAULT!!
Piven: I have never seen a more graceful moonsault than what Cage just hit right there...
[The landing, as could be expected, is a loud thump. MB doubles up from the impact, but has nowhere to go as Cage keeps her pinned down]

TH-KICKOUT!!!
[Pure horror crosses Cage's face as he looks across to the ref and receives confirmation that it was just a two count. Giving out a roar, he backs up to his feet, encouraging MB to do the same.
MB moves towards the corner, using the ropes for assistance as she climbs up slowly... Oh so slowly... To her feet...
She turns...
Cage kicks her in the gut, his arms outstretching with thumbs down, suggesting the end...]
Aiello: Here it comes... The Caged Explosion...
Piven: Less Explosion, more complete mental destruction...
[Cage' arms come back in...
And find nobody there!
Frantically his arms move around, searching for MB, hoping she'd just slipped back a little...
A hand catches Cage's, swinging him out before pulling back again in ripchord style...]
Aiello: OH DAMN!!
Piven: That's one way to rearrange someone's face...
[The bullhammer-style elbow sends Cage reeling into a delayed freefall...
That ends with a loud BOOOM as he lands face-first on the canvas.
A tired MB drops to her knees, arms reaching under Cage to force him over before grabbing hold of the far leg to hook it.]

THRE-NO!!!
[Cheers become groans as the fans realise it was a 2.99 count.]
Aiello: So close, yet not close enough. Can either one of them win this match?
Piven: Both Black and Cage look like they're running on fumes, so if they want to do it, they better do it now.
[MB repeat's Cage' actions of a few moments ago, rising to her feet and stalking, encouraging her opponent to make it to his feet. Her wish is granted in the most ideal way as Cage gets to his feet facing away. The head snaps back, pulled straight down into an inverted facelock backbreaker.]
Aiello: Backbreaker, but MB looking for more...
Metal Black win
[MB drives up again, spinning around for an inverted neckbreaker....
Cage spins too, pushing MB away...]
Aiello: BLOCKED!! MB was going for a new move there, but it didn’t come thru for her…
[...MB loops around just in time to be wiped out...]
Aiello: SPEAR!!
Piven: Cage just blasted MB right outta her boots!
[Cage wastes little time in making a cover]

Piven: This match? It looks like he wants to end Metal Black’s career...
[MB finds herself once again lifted into the air, flipped over Cage' shoulder...but a little too far! MB slips through the back, being sure to hook Cage and pull him directly into a second inverted facelock backbreaker. Wasting little time, she drives up again, then drops into...]
Aiello: MOTOOOOGRATER!!
Piven: Surely that has to be it...

HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP CASKET MATCH
LIVING DEAD KARL
vs
SHADOW MAN (C)
Joe Aiello: What a great night we’re having. The Dynamic Duo successfully defended the Tag Team Championships.
Jeremy Piven: Not only that King Flip is the second contender for the International Championship, Brett Black walked away with a huge victory over Laura Molinaro.
Joe Aiello: Then Sabyrinn Cassidy also lands herself as International Championship contender. Things are starting to set nicely here on BRAWL. But now it’s time for the Hardcore Championship to be decided.
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is for the EWC Hardcore Championship and is a Casket Match! The objective is to throw your opponent into the casket and shut the door of the casket on them to be declared the EWC Hardcore Champion! Introducing first the challenger, from the nearest morgue, standing 6’3” tall and weighing in at 255 lbs, he is LIVING DEAD KARL!
Everyone's attention is forced to redirect towards the Brawl-o-tron. The screen is so dim that whatever is being seen is initially indistinguishable. Heavy breathing accompanies heartbeats. Finally, from the darkness, a face slowly manifests itself: the face of the Unholy Undead himself, Living Dead Karl! His facial twitches could be mistaken for brief episodes of smirking. Then again, perhaps he enjoys where he is. Where is he?
Living Dead Karl: "Laaaaaaaugh it up, motherfuckers! Laugh at the clown! But lest y'all forget, I'm a zombie clown, if I'm a clown at all! But tonight... tonight's the night shit gets real. The realest. It's a motherfuckin' Casket Match, y'all! This match was made for me! You ain't gonna see Shadon't Man get inside and come out alive, let alone unchanged and shit! And me, what if I get locked inside that fuckin' casket? Bitch, what'd you do if you got locked inside someone else's apartment? Same shit. Shadon't Man, you ain't stand a chance. You know...you know in your whole heart that there's only one outcome for you. Where Xplizzle failed, I'ma succeed. My homeboy PrezMac made that shit certain, playboy! After all this time, I'm gonna be the one to put you to sleep... forever!!!"
The fans' disgust for LDK couldn't be any more apparent.
Living Dead Karl: "And how sure am I that shit's gonna go down that way? Bitch, where you think I am, anyway?!"
The feed cuts off abruptly, the static replacing it appearing just slightly off, sounding a bit more disturbing than normal.
Then, the lights dim, and fog pumps out into the arena. The quiet sounds of a rumbling thunder only intensify in volume. Flashes of "lightning" illuminate the rafters. Chopin's "Marche Funèbre: Lento" (aka "The Funeral March") begins to play:
And from amidst the ominously hazy accoutrement, six "men" appear, carrying a casket with them. The "men" are dressed in suits, but their heads are cloaked in hoods. More like black sacks, actually. They get halfway down the ramp before lowering the coffin to the ground. They then shamble away, back into the obscuring mists anew.
The music stops abruptly. Banging can be heard from the coffin. Then all of a sudden, a fists bursts out from within, just as "Pretend We're Dead" by L7 begins to play:
The music stops abruptly. Banging can be heard from the coffin. Then all of a sudden, a fists bursts out from within, just as "Pretend We're Dead" by L7 begins to play:
Moments after that, another hand bursts out, then the lower half of the lid is kicked outwards, blown off from the force. Rising from the "dead" is Living Dead Karl, implying he was in the casket while on the Brawl-o-tron! He gets to his feet, hoists the damaged casket over his head in a feat of Herculean might, and hurls it into the mists from whence it came! He then continues the short trek to the ring, bathed in fog and a chorus of boos.
Jeremy Piven: One of the few men in EWC today that not only has a fighting spirit that goes beyond death, but also a vengeance that goes on and on. Living Dead Karl has a chance to take the Hardcore Championship to the final frontier.
Joe Aiello: Shadow Man has been on a good roll as of late in singles action, but Karl has also changed his bad luck around. Can he overcome the EWC Hardcore Champion tonight?
Jessica Stroup: His opponent, standing 6’5” tall, weighing in at 245 lbs, from New York City, New York, he is the “The Hardcore Icon” the EWC Hardcore Champion, SHADOW MAN!
The lights in the arena slowly begin to dim as everyone in the arena quickly get's to their feet and begin to make some noise. "Invincible" by OK Go then begins to play over the Sound System as three strobe lights begin to pulse in the entrance way, fog then begins to rise from below the stage in front of the entrance.
The X-Treme Tron lights up counting down from 9 all the way to 1. It seems as though every single person is on there feet counting down the numbers. Once it gets to 0 large letters flash “IT'S SHOWTIME”.
An enormous uproar of cheers now blends out the blasting of "Invincible"! A few moments later Shadow Man walks from behind the wall of Fog onto the stage. He stands their for a few seconds with a smirk on his face and begins to point to the fans who are screaming the loudest.
Shadow then looks towards the camera with a cocky yet confident look on his face as he begins to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. On the way he makes silly faces into the camera. After waving at the fans while walking down the ramp Shadow runs and slides onto the ring apron on one knee and holding onto the middle Rope, Shadow gets to his feet and in a cocky manor steps threw the first and second Ropes.
He then gets into the ring and runs over to the corner and jumps up onto the second turnbuckle. He pats himself on the chest twice and then points to all the screaming fans. He then points to the sky and pumps his fist for Memphis Reigns! The two look over at the casket and motion for the other to sleep. Shadow Man lays his head in his hands, motioning he’ll put Karl on sleep street when the Zombie lunges forward and hits his opponent with a Short-Arm Clothesline. Shadow Man doesn’t go down but he does lay against the ropes and LDK hits several fists over his opponent’s head. Grabbing the Hardcore Champion’s hand, Karl whips him across the ring, Shadow bounces off and is hit with a Samoan Drop.
Karl begins to strangle his opponent as the crowd boos loudly. Shadow Man starts to turn read but manages to get his legs under his opponent and kick him hard enough in the ribs that he breaks his hold. He then rolls out of the ring and gets his breath back while Karl leaves the ring by rolling out and walks over to his opponent, gets up on the steps and lunges at Shadow but the Hardcore Icon notices him coming, looks under the ring and swings porcelain vase at Karl’s head and shatters it.
Jeremy Piven: That must have been a cheap vase. I mean I don’t see them break that easily unless they’re made by the lowest bidder… in China.
Joe Aiello: Well Shadow Man always fully stocks the ring before his matches. We’re just seeing some of the toys these two men will be using at some point in this match before that coffin becomes a factor.
Shadow Man looks under the ring once more and tosses out several chairs, light tubes, a skillet, a kitchen sink, and a Les Paul Guitar. Lifting tilting the head of guitar up, Shadow Man acts as if he’s playing Guitar Hero which gives time Karl time to recover and stand up. The EWC Hardcore Champion swings the guitar before Karl can attack but Karl ducks, the guitar bounces off the ropes and takes out Shadow Man. Placing several light tubes against the barricade, LDK lifts Shadow Man up to his feet, puts him on his shoulder and hits an Airplane Spin, turning around four times then hits another Samoan Drop putting Shadow Man through all the tubes.
Joe Aiello: An Airplane Spin that turns into a Samoan Drop through those light tubes. Living Dead Karl is showing us his vicious side tonight.
Jeremy Piven: Shadow Man doesn’t know what motion sickness is, so I don’t think a little spin will take him out. Karl had better get to trying to throw Shadow Man into that casket.
Shadow Man rolls off the tubes, covered in shards of tubes, and Karl jumps on his back with both knees first. Placing a foot against his opponent’s head on the floor, Karl Head Stomps him into the mat then follows up with an elbow drop. Standing up and repeating his attack, Karl lands several elbow drops over his opponent’s neck and head before he stops and grabs Shadow Man then Hammer Throw’s him into the stairs, causing the stairs to split apart and Shadow to hold his bad knee.
Looking under the ring, Karl finds a trench shovel, walks over to Shadow Man and starts smashing Shadow Man over his body and knees. He screams loudly as the blows on his knees really get to him. After seven strikes, Karl toss the shovel aside, grabs a chair and tires to jump on his opponent’s face with the chair under his butt but Shadow rolls away, grabs the shovel and smashes it over his opponent’s chest. The fans start to explode as Shadow Man starts to turn this match around.
Joe Aiello: Vicious attack from that shovel by Shadow Man. He’s turning this match around.
Jeremy Piven: Keep in mind, Living Dead Karl hasn’t been a slouch. He can always turn this around and put it back in his favor.
Taking his time to get up and avoiding putting too much pressure on his knee, Shadow Man stands up, grabs the trash can and smashes it over LDK’s knees. The Zombie moans as he slowly crawls away but Shadow continues his assault but kicking him in the tailbone hard. Shadow Man grabs Karl’s face and Face Washes it over the ring’s edge before standing him up and hitting a Russian Legsweep into the stairs.
The two are laid out a moment but the momentum keeps Shadow Man going as he walks over to the cheering fans who high five him, he turns around and kicks LDK in his chest. Delivering several punches over his opponent’s head, Shadow Man points to the casket and the crowd starts to cheer loudly. The two make their way over, with Shadow Man punching Karl and giving him a big boot from behind to knock in him to the coffin. With Karl inside, Shadow Man lifts up the door…

The fans are on their feet…

He shuts it down once but LDK’s foot is in the way!...

Shadow Man pushes it in and tries again…

But this time Karl gets both legs up and kicks the door open!
Joe Aiello: So close! Shadow Man almost had this match over with and put away early.
Jeremy Piven: My friend, zombie are never put away easy. You need to make sure there’s no way of getting up again and Shadow Man might be too worn out from his match earlier tonight to think clearly.
Living Dead Karl punches Shadow Man in the gut, causing him to double over. With the Hardcore Champion doubled over, LDK eye rake’s his opponent’s eyes and he stumbles backwards. LDK gets out of the coffin, stumbles over and hits a Lariat on Shadow Man and knocks him into the barricade. He leans Shadow over the barricade and delivers several loud painful thumps over his chest.
Shadow Man falls forward and is hit with a Saito Suplex on the concrete floor. Holding his back, the People’s Champion rolls over while the Zombie gets on his knees and starts head butting his opponent. He falls back and Karl drags him to the ring, grabs the kitchen sink and slams it on his opponent’s knees. Once more, Shadow Man screams he holds on his knees and tries to get away but LDK lifts the sink up and starts bashing his opponent’s ribs and chest with the sink.
Jeremy Piven: Karl is using everything now, Hell he’s actually using the kitchen sink!
Joe Aiello: I haven’t seen the kitchen sink used in so long. Actually surprised to see the that it has returned here tonight.
Seeing that the EWC Hardcore Champion is down, Karl grabs his opponent by the shirt and belt, then rushes him over to the coffin head first. The Hardcore Champion’s skull cracks into the coffin hard and Karl flips him into the coffin with a Gut Buster and lays him out…

Karl makes sure that Shadow Man is laid out and not moving…

Grabbing the lid, Karl starts to throw it downward…

Shadow Man gets his feet up and stops the door! Turning over slightly, Shadow throws a fist into the gut of Living Dead Karl and puts him on the ground!
Joe Aiello: Shadow Man is still in this! Living Dead Karl thought that beating the EWC Hardcore Champion with the kitchen sink and more would get a fast and easy win.
Jeremy Piven: There have been and different weird ways people have won championships here in the past. I mean look at this year alone, remember how Derek Wellings and Shadow Man won the EWC Hardcore Championship at StrangleMania X?
Shadow Man rolls out of the coffin as Karl rolls into the ring, giving each man a moment to get some breath back in them. Shadow Man slides into the ring as Karl stands up and two lock up in a grapple with Shadow Man getting the upper hand as he drives a knee into his opponent’s gut. Shadow hits a T-Bone Suplex, scrambles over and hits several fists over his face.
Leaning over, Shadow Man grabs a Yield sign, places it on his opponent’s face, climbs up the second ropes and jumps off landing butt first on the sign. Karl rolls away with a bloody nose and cut open lip, Shadow Man walks over, helps him up, tosses him into the ropes tries to go for a Dropkick but LDK ducks under it! He bounces off the ropes, hopes over Shadow Man who stands up and tries a back body drop once Living Dead Karl returns but LDK hits him in the chest with a stiff kick.
Backing up, Shadow lays on the ropes holding his chest as Karl runs over and clothesline his opponent. The two flip over the top rope and hold on tight as their feet hit the coffin. The fans explode as the two trade blows back and forth. Karl kicks Shadow in the gut and he doubles over. He signals for the end as the fans start booing.
Joe Aiello: This could be bad; could we be seeing the end of an era here? Is Shadow Man’s reign as Hardcore Champion over?
Jeremy Piven: The fans are letting them know how the feel. Living Dead Karl seems to have a slight upper hand against Shadow Man. But things can change in less than a second!
Karl lifts up Shadow Man, hits THE DIRT NAP! from the edge of the ring towards the casket. But Shadow Man grabs the top rope and refuses to move! He drives a knee into Karl’s gut and hits THE DEATH PENALTY! Causing LDK to fly into coffin…

Living Dead Karl doesn’t open the coffin and Shadow Man jumps up and sits on the coffin. “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” plays as the referee calls for the bell and Shadow Man sits on the casket. The fans start cheering loudly.
Jessica Stroup: Here is your winner, and STILL EWC HARDCORE CHAMPION, SHADOW MAN!
WINNER: SHADOW MAN
Joe Aiello: The age of Shadow Man continues! Living Dead Karl has been laid to rest after one long, hard grueling match. Who knows how long Shadow Man’s second reign can continue?
Jeremy Piven: The fans are going crazy! Shadow Man may have just won a gold medal in the Olympics or the EWC World Championship. Well folks, if I were you, I’d stay where you are because we still have many more incredible matches coming up!
Out from the stands Griffin Hawkins from Friday Night Rampage comes running out. He approaches Shadow Man and has some words with him. Shadow then slides off of the coffin and Griffin jumps on it as if he's riding a horse. He screams out "YEEE HAAAAWWWW" and pulls out a blow torch from inside his jacket
Joe Aiello: What in the hell is Griffin doing here, and what's he going to do with that blow torch?
Jeremy Piven: Something tells me we are about to get a sniff of what a crispy fried Dead Karl tastes and smells like
The scene fades as Shadow Man pushes the casket up the ramp with Griffin riding it. We now get a promo video of highlights from FSW featuring Kruzer and Jezzabel. Then shows Xplode and Tony Savage yelling at each other in the ring. They then speed through a number of highlights of their singles matches
TAG TEAM MATCH
KRUZER & JEZZABEL
vs
XPLODE & TONY SAVAGE (C)
Aiello: Those were some awesome highlights for the hotly anticipated tag team match. Two new stars from FSW, Kruzer and Jezzabel look to make their mark on Monday Night Brawl by taking on the EWC Champion Tony Savage and the number one contender to said title, Xplode!
Piven: This is gonna be a great match, but I think Savage and Xplode are going to put those rookies in their place.
Aiello: You actually think that Xplode and Savage are going to be able to coexist long enough to do that, Jeremy?
Piven: Of course! They might be fighting over the title soon, but tonight, it's all about business. They're not going to let two upstarts upstage them.
Aiello: Well, we'll see. And Kruzer and Jezzabel might be new to EWC, but they're no stranger to the squared circle, having wrestled around the world before coming here.
Piven: To the big leagues! We'll see what they got.
The opening chords of 'O Canada' play on electric guitar before scratching transitions to 'Next Homecoming' by Collective Soul. Smoke fills the archway and Kruzer bursts out brimming with energy, wearing a long coat over his ring attire and black wrap-around shades. He stands at the top of the ramp, flashing bullhorns as pyros explode behind him. He hypes up the crowd as he walks halfway down the ramp where he stops and kneels, theatrically pointing behind him.
Aiello: The crowd is on their feet for The Canadian Icon!
The lights go dark in the arena and a red glows comes up throughout. A bell tolls and 'Toccata & Fugue' by Birdie Wings starts. A phoenix shriek is heard and as the first chord of the song is played, the stage is engulfed in flames. As the flames dissipate, Jezzabel appears on the stage, seemingly out of thin air. She stares out at the crowd for a moment, and then makes her way down the ramp, joining up with Kruzer. The two walk down to the ring together.
Stroup: This tag team mach is scheduled for one fall. First, making their way to the ring, the team of “The Canadian Icon” KRUZER and “The Rising Phoenix” JEZZABEL!
In the ring, Kruzer goes to all four corners of the ring, flashing his bullhorns and pumping up the crowd. Jezzabel stands in the middle of the ring, radiating intensity. Kruzer stands next to Jezzabel, who raises her arms and brings them down, igniting huge flames from the ring posts as Kruzer throws up the bullhorns to a huge pop from the crowd.
Piven: Wow, is it hot in here, or is it just Jezzabel?
Aiello: What Kruzer has in energy, Jezzabel has in intensity. Not to make a pun, but she is smoldering, beautiful and powerful. I wouldn't want to stand across the ring from her.
Piven: You wouldn't want to be in the ring, period, Aiello!
Aiello: This is true!
'The Enemy' by Godsmack begins to play. The crowd jumps to their feet as the arena lights fade to a crimson red. Fireworks ignite above the entrance, making a giant X. Fog covers the entrance and Xplode steps onto the stage as flashbulbs sparkle in the crowd.
Stroup: Coming to the ring … he is known as the Destroyer of Worlds … please welcome XPLODE!
The crowd cheers as Xplode looks around the arena, ready for a fight. He confidently walks down the ramp in a red spotlight, ignoring the fans trying to reach out and touch him. He rolls under the bottom rope and walks into the center of the ring. He points to the One Night Encounter logo, eliciting another large cheer from the crowd. Walking past Kruzer and Jezzabel, Xplode climbs the corner turnbuckle and stares out at the crowd, many of whom are bowing to him in a 'we're not worthy' manner.
Aiello: And there's the number one contender, former title holder and general manager, Xplode! He walks around like he owns the place.
Piven: In his mind, he does. Are you going to argue with him?
Aiello: Certainly not to his face. He's got a reputation as a rule breaker, but make no mistake, this man knows how to fight and how to win. He may not pander to the fans, but many of them respect what he's accomplished in the ring.
Godsmack fades out, replaced by 'Shoot to Thrill' by AC/DC and the roar of a Fat Boy Lo. Tony Savage rides the bike out from the back, stopping at the top of the ramp. He pats the title belt on his shoulder and revs the engine as the fans cheer.
Stroup: Now making his way to the ring, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, via Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 245 pounds, EWC's official bail bondsman … The Atlanta Falcon and EWC Champion … TONY SAVAGE!
Savage gooses the engine and coasts down the ramp before making a circle around the ring. He stops the bike in front of the announcers' table.
Aiello: Get ready, Jeremy!
Piven: Damn it, I hate this part …
Savage loudly revs the bike, garnering a huge pop from the crowd.
Piven: Ha, asshole! I got earplugs this time!
As he gets off the bike, EWC's security pats down Savage, appropriating several knives, his gun, pepper spray, blackjack, and a taser. Once they're finished, Tony Savage jumps into the ring and holds up his title, specifically staring down Xplode who meets his gaze without blinking.
Aiello: The champ and the number one contender are already staring each other down! Still think they can coexist to win this match?
Piven: What did you say? I can't hear you!
Aiello: Take out your earplugs, Jeremy!
Piven: Oh yeah!
Referee Josh Daniels takes the EWC title that Savage hands to him without taking his eyes off Xplode. The two exchange some words. Savage points at Kruzer and Jezzabel, who are leaning in their corner, Kruzer with an amused smirk on his face, Jezzabel looking bored. Xplode nods and steps between the ropes and onto the apron, waving a hand at Savage, as if to mockingly say 'show me how it's done.' Jezzabel steps onto the apron as Kruzer bounces on his feet, ready for the bell to ring. Savage cracks his knuckles in anticipation.
Aiello: And there's the bell!
Kruzer and Savage lock up in the center of the ring. Savage lifts a knee up into Kruzer's midsection. He rocks Kruzer's head with a few jabs and then whips him into the ropes. Kruzer comes off the ropes with a flying headscissors, throwing Savage across the ring. As Savage is getting up, Kruzer runs in to follow up with another move, but Savage hits a huge elbow to the head. Kruzer stumbles back, stunned. Savage follows up with boxing style punches to Kruzer's rib cage. A big uppercut spins Kruzer around and Savage grabs his arm and slams him face-first into the mat with a front Russian legsweep.
Piven: Savage sure is giving Kruzer's pretty boy face a rough time!
Savage tags in Xplode. As Xplode does a jumping knee drop to Kruzer's chest, Savage drops an elbow across Kruzer's face. Xplode covers Kruzer.

KICKOUT!
Xplode mounts Kruzer and starts hammering him with closed right hands. Referee Josh Daniels starts admonishing Xplode. Xplode pulls Kruzer to his feet while mouthing off to Daniels. He lifts Kruzer up for a body slam, but Kruzer is able to slide out of it and land behind Xplode. He spins Xplode around, but catches a punch to the midsection. Xplode laughs and waggles his finger at Kruzer and whips him towards the ropes. But Kruzer reverses the whip and runs at Xplode for a clothesline. Xplode cannily ducks and both men bounce off opposite sides of the ring. Kruzer leaps and uses his momentum to spin Xplode around, hitting a brilliant Kruzermatic DDT! Kruzer lies on the mat only for a second before rolling over to his corner and tagging the eager Jezzabel in. Quick as a cat (or maybe a bird) Jezzabel hops to the top rope and hits a missile shoulder block on Xplode as he gets to his feet.
Aiello: What velocity Jezzabel has there!
Xplode gets back to his feet, but is met with a standing dropkick from Jezzabel. She puts the boots to Xplode as he fights back to his feet. She goes to whip him into the ropes, but Xplode reverses it, only to be caught with a flying clothesline on the rebound. With a kick to the gut and a bird-like shriek, Jezzabel hoists Xplode up for a stalling vertical suplex!
Piven: Holy … !
Aiello: The strength of Jezzabel is amazing! That man is over a hundred pounds heavier than her, but she has him up in the air!
Jezzabel brings Xplode crashing to the mat. She quickly floats over for a pin.

KICKOUT!
Jezzabel pulls Xplode back to her feet and goes to tag in Kruzer, but Xplode pulls her in suddenly and whips her around into a hard spinebuster!
Aiello: And just like that, Xplode turns things around with the best spinebuster in the business!
Piven: That's the veteran instinct of Xplode. He sensed that Jezzabel had taken her attention off of him for just a moment and he capitalized on it! That's why he's one of the best in the business!
Both wrestlers get back to their feet. Jezzabel rocks Xplode with an throat thrust, but Xplode doubles her over with a knee to the gut. He follows up with several hard elbows to the back of her head and whips her into the ropes, catching her with a harsh clothesline on the rebound. Xplode grabs one of her legs and starts kicking at it. Rolling Jezzabel onto her stomach he lifts her into the air by the leg and drives it knee-first into the mat. Jezzabel rolls in pain, clutching her leg. She tries to reach out to Kruzer, who is willing his arm to be just a few inches longer. But Xplode pulls her closer to his corner and hyperextends her leg.
Aiello: Smart move by Xplode. Taking out the Rising Phoenix's leg not only neutralizes her high flying ability, but also hampers her power game.
Savage holds out his hand, expecting a tag from Xplode, but Xplode ignores him, continuing to work on Jezzabel's leg. He sets Jezzabel's leg on the rope and leaps up to drive a boot into her leg. He pulls her into the center of the ring and taunts at Kruzer before locking Jezzabel in a figure four leglock.
Aiello: Figure four, locked in! Xplode is going for the submission victory!
Piven: Jezzabel's stuck in the center of the ring! She's got nowhere to go!
Kruzer begins stomping on the ring apron, getting the crowd to cheer Jezzabel on. Jezzabel screams in pain but grits her teeth when referee Josh Daniels asks her if she gives up, emphatically shaking her head. Kruzer looks like he's going to interfere and break up the submission, but Daniels sees him and warns him not to. But while the referee's attention is on Kruzer, Xplode grabs the ropes and uses the leverage to put more strain on Jezzabel's knee. This riles up Kruzer even more as he tries to bull past the referee, who starts yelling at him to get back to his corner. Jezzabel screams in pain as the crowd boos Xplode's dirty tactic. Tony Savage walks down the apron and kicks Xplode's hands off the ropes. Xplode glares daggers at Savage for spoiling his extra leverage, saying a few choice words to the champ.
Piven: What's Tony Savage doing? Xplode was about to get Jezzabel to tap out with that extra leverage!
Aiello: Xplode was using an illegal tactic. He shouldn't have to resort to that to win matches!
Piven: You say 'illegal tactic' but what I saw was a canny veteran using the ring to his advantage.
Xplode and Savage exchange a few more words, Xplode turning his torso to face Savage. With a sudden burst of energy, Jezzabel takes advantage of Xplode's divided attention and snaps her body to the side, inverting the figure four so that all the pressure is now on Xplode's leg. Xplode screams in pain and shock. He reaches out to Savage, who finds Xplode's predicament funny. He lets Xplode writhe in the hold for a few moments before reaching out and accepting the tag. Savage enters the ring and drops an elbow on the back of Jezzabel's neck. He flips her over and starts administering a Savage Beatdown, raining elbows down onto her. Savage goes for the pin.

KICKOUT at 2 and a half!
Savage pulls Jezzabel back to her feet but Jezzabel pushes Savage away and nails him with a big boot to the face! Savage goes down, but so does Jezzabel, who's leg collapses underneath her! Kruzer is jumping up and down, driving the crowd into a frenzy, willing The Rising Phoenix to her feet. Savage is back to his feet first, rubbing his jaw, a smile on his face. He pulls Jezzabel to her feet and raises his fist, calling for the Cardiac Arrest. But with a sudden burst, Jezzabel swings a wristlock around and kicks him in the gut, planting him with a spike DDT! Jezzabel drags herself over to her corner and tags Kruzer in. The crowd goes wild!
Kruzer leaps off the turnbuckle, hitting Savage with a huge missile dropkick! Savage gets up and eats a clothesline for his trouble. Savage gets up again, taking a swing at Kruzer, who ducks it and counters into an inverted side backbreaker. Kruzer in for the cover!

KICKOUT as the referee's hand is coming down for three!
Aiello: Kruzer is a house afire here! Can he put the champ away?
Piven: Tony Savage is tougher than that. Kruzer's going to have to do a lot more to put Savage away.
Kruzer locks Savage in a sleeperhold. Savage struggles in the hold, reaching out to Xplode, who half heartedly reaches out to Savage. Kruzer pulls Savage away from his corner, tightening his grip on the champ.
Aiello: If Xplode reached a little further, he could have made the tag!
Piven: Or maybe Savage could've tried a little harder!
Kruzer bears down on Savage. Referee Josh Daniels checks to make sure Kruzer isn't choking Savage. Savage looks like he's going out. Daniels checks his arm. It falls once. He checks again. It falls twice. A third time … Savage's arm goes up! The crowd cheers! Kruzer tries to hold onto the hold, but Savage fights his way to his feet, hands trying to break Kruzer's hold. He moves Kruzer's arm an inch away from his throat and slips his head out of the hold, putting Kruzer in a full nelson! Savage suplexes Kruzer, bridging for the pin!

KICKOUT!
Savage gets to his feet, having some words with Xplode.
Aiello: Savage definitely thinks Xplode could've reached a little further for a tag.
Piven: Who cares? Savage needs to have his eyes on the match.
Kruzer comes up from behind Savage, knocking him into Xplode. Savage and Xplode collide headfirst! Xplode is knocked off the apron. The referee calls it a tag! Kruzer tosses Savage over the ropes onto Xplode. He tags Jezzabel in. The two stand in the middle of the ring, watching Savage and Xplode get to their feet outside the ring. Savage and Xplode are still arguing. Kruzer and Jezzabel go off the ropes and take to the air, hitting stereo suicide planchas on Savage and Xplode! The crowd is going wild!
Kruzer and Jezzabel roll Xplode back into the ring, leaving Savage outside. Kruzer powerbombs Xplode to the mat as Jezzabel comes off the top with a beautiful Phoenixsault!
Aiello: The high flying ability on display here! Kruzer and Jezzabel are capitalizing on that miscommunication.
Jezzabel pins!

3-NO! Xplode kicks out just in time! Jezzabel and Kruzer can't believe it!
Piven: Love him or hate him, Xplode is a tough SOB, and you gotta respect that. Kruzer and Jezzabel are learning that firsthand.
Jezzabel tags Kruzer back in, who ascends to the top rope. Throwing up the bullhorns, he leaps off with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press! That lands right across Xplode's knees, brought up at the last second!
Aiello: The Canadian Icon goes to the high rent district only to crash and burn! Ouch!
Xplode rolls over to a neutral corner, pulling himself up painfully. Kruzer sets himself up in the opposite corner and charges in, looking to hit a flying corner splash. Xplode grabs the ref and pulls him into the corner, so he takes the splash instead!
Piven: Ooops! Nice move by Xplode! Poor Josh Daniels just got Krushed!
Aiello: You just said 'Krushed' with a 'K' … it shouldn't sound different, but it does …
Piven: What? I did? He's tainted me, damn that Kanadian Ikon! Goddammit, I did it again! I'm skared, Joe …
Kruzer shakes the ref to try and revive him. Kruzer turns his attention back to Xplode and gets a blatant low blow for his troubles! Jezzabel quickly comes in with a huge flying clothesline, knocking Xplode down. Xplode rolls out of the ring. Tony Savage comes in and cleans Jezzabel's clock with a big Superman punch! But Jezzabel sits right back up, staring up at Savage. Savage seems a little unsettled. He bounces off the ropes, aiming a big kick to Jezzabel's head, but the Rising Phoenix dodges and hits a huge Guillotine Backbreaker!
Aiello: There's bodies everywhere! Jezzabel is standing tall! She's stalking Tony Savage, who is slowly getting to his feet!
Piven: What does it matter? He's not the legal man and we have no referee! Also, why is Xplode rummaging through Tony Savage's stuff?
Jezzabel goes for the Impaler, but Tony Savage slips out of it, spinning her around and hitting her with Dead To Rights! But just as he gets up, Kruzer hits him with a kick to the gut and sets him up for Kruze Kontrol. Kruze Kontrol hits, driving Savage face-first into the mat! Xplode rolls into the ring with the EWC title and something else in his hand.
Aiello: Uh oh! I don't like the looks of what Xplode has in mind. What's he got there?
Piven: Tony Savage's taser! Kruzer just got tazed by Xplode!
Aiello: Goddammit, and the ref is still out!
Xplode kicks Kruzer in the gut and sets him up with a double underhook. DROP ZONE ONTO THE EWC TITLE BELT! Xplode tosses away the EWC title belt and taser as referee Josh Daniels begins stirring. Xplode pins!

Stroup: Here are your winners via pinfall: Xplode and Tony Savage!
Most of the crowd boos for Xplode's underhanded victory, though some smarks in the crowd applaud his ruthless sensibilities.
Aiello: That was a classic match until Xplode had to go and ruin it to steal a victory.
Piven: Win at all costs, that's what the Destroyer of Worlds does. And look, he's the last person standing in the ring. That's why he's the best!
Xplode taunts the crowd in the ring. He retrieves the EWC title as Tony Savage gets back to his feet. Xplode stares down Savage while holding the title. He mimes polishing the title and puts it on his shoulder, admiring how it looks there. Tony Savage looks about two seconds away from decking Xplode. But Xplode takes the belt off of his shoulder and hands it back to Tony Savage.
Aiello: Xplode is making it clear he's gunning for Tony Savage's title next!
Piven: Yeah. He wants Savage to know that it's his title. Savage is just a placeholder. I can't wait to see Xplode put Savage in his place.
Aiello: It's going to be a great match, to be sure. Just like this match was, at least until the end. Kruzer and Jezzabel put up a hell of a fight, and Savage and Xplode weren't the most cohesive of teams, but they pulled out the victory tonight! Up next is the Main Event

Jeremy Piven: We are about to see if Rampage is just as good as they believe they are! We all know we still have the better show regardless of outcome.
DING DING!
Jessica Stroup: This is the Main EVENT OF THE NIGHT! It a Ladder match for the INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION TITLE!
The crowds start to go crazy as “'Live For The Night' plays as pink and purple spotlights flash on the entranceway. A giant magazine cover of Liz Smalls is the curtain for her entrance as she walks from behind it with the spotlights flashing on her.
Jessica Stroup: The Number One Contender representing Friday Night Rampage....from San Francisco. California....weighting at 115lb... The Coast 2 Coast Covergirl of EWC ...... LIZ SMALLLSSSSSSSS
Paparazzi trail behind her, snapping pictures as she walks to the ring, waving at the fans. Two of the paparazzi men hop onto the ring apron and each grab one of Liz' arms as they lift her up onto the apron and then hold the ropes so she can enter the ring. The crowd is mix of boos and cheers for her as she flash her smile over at them. She looks up at the title high up as her eyes looks so big once her eyes place on it.
The arena erupts with cheers as Voodoo Child by Stevie Ray Vaughn begins to play throughout the arena. Kurt makes his way out with a cocky smile on his face as billions of flashes from cameras from the fans cover him. Kurt motions with his hands for the fans to cheer even louder.Quickly following Kurt is Alyssa Devine who holds the Awesome Title and the Tag Team Title on her shoulders. Taking Kurt by the arm Alyssa escorts Kurt Newman down to the ring.
Jessica Stroup: Now coming down to the ring... companying by Alyssa Devine.... respresting Monday Night Brawl.... Standing at 6’0, 220lbs! Coming from Chicago Illinois…....The Big Bad Voodoo Daddy……The International Champion..... Kurt Newman!
Jessica walks out of the ring as Liz stood there just staring at him watching him closely.
Standing on the ring apron, Kurt sits on the middle rope and watches as Alyssa bends over and makes her way through the rope but stops just as her butt is inches away from Kurt’s crotch.
Kurt bites his hand and stares as Alyssa’s butt as it goes back and forth in front of him.
Alyssa gives a sexy smile to the camera and blows a kiss before entering the ring.
Kurt quickly flips into the ring and stands in the middle of the ring with his arms out raised in the sky as the crowd throws hundreds of colorful streamers of different colors into the ring.
Kurt claps his hands in celebration as he quickly grabs the Awesome Title from Alyssa and jumps to a nearby ring post and lifts up the Awesome Title and the Tag Team Title up in the air to show off the titles to the masses.
As he does that he point up to the International Champion that was hanging from the ceiling with a grin on his face. Jumping off the turnbuckle, Kurt kisses the two titles before handing them over to Alyssa. As the stage crew pulls all the streamers out of the ring, Alyssa makes her way out of the ring leaving Kurt standing in a corner ready for this match.
The crowd was cheering like crazy as Paul Turner bought the two to the middle of the ring. He looks at them both as you could feel the tension in the air from them both. He was going over the rules with them both.
Joe Aiello: Can you feel that tension! Brawl would love to win this match since they have lost the show vs show match at Night of Champions. Brawl always felt they are the better show!!
Jeremy Piven: It not only that but you have Liz Smalls in there. A woman after winning this shot got her ass handle to her by Leon and his followers. She have a lot to prove to everyone around here. Even though her ass got handler to her that can come out and win one of the big ones!
Paul Turner looks over at the timekeeper as he pointed to him as the bell rang. The crowd was on their feet Liz Smalls and Kurt Newman circles around each other for a bit. He stop placing up his hands as Liz watching him closely. He walks over to the ropes leaning over them as he threw his hands up into the air.
The Crowd : KURT... KURT.... KURT..
He just looks over at Liz as she just smirks as she got on the top rope throwing her hands up in the air as the crowd starts to chant her name.
The Crowd: LIZ... LIZ... Liz...
They do this back and forth for a few seconds as the crowd was really getting behind them both for a bit. Kurt believe that Liz was still standing on the top of the rope from her corner but sneak behind him wrapping her arms around his waist and toss him over her head down to the mat hard. Some of the fans in the crowd start to boo as she just smirk looking down at Kurt as she pointing her finger at herself screaming out towards him.
