ON THE ROAD TO VIRIDIAN CITY
With that yell the lights suddenly burst into life, which reveals a woman in a purple cloak standing on the stage. While only her eyes and mouth could be seen from her hood. Her milky white skin, purple hair and the FSW Championship being wrapped around her waist making it rather obvious that this person is Otaki. Her cloak doesn't cover the front of her attire, a purple one-piece outfit with no sleeves or coverage for the legs and a pair of blue boots, as Otaki starts to go down the ramp-way. Once arriving the bottom of the ramp a smile appears on Otaki's face as she raises her hood up and off, revealing not only her face but also a red gem that is on her forehead. Once she reveals her face The Emo Princess moves up the steps and gets onto the apron before bending over the middle rope to enter the ring. Once inside the ring Otaki approaches the ring announcer and politely ask for the microphone. Once receiving it, with a rather grateful sounding ‘thank you’, she turns to face the cheering crowd.
Otaki: FSW Champion, huh?
She starts softly but sound herself unable to say anything more as the people of Vienna are chanting ‘YOU DESERVE IT!’ at The Purple Haired Dynamo.
Otaki: Please don’t, we promised ourselves that the crying back in Hollywood will be all the crying we’ll do as FSW Champion. We’re also not out here to treasure our glory but to instead get something off our chest that has been there for way too long…
The Emo Princess takes a moment to look down at her Championship belt with a smile before looking directly at the hard camera with a serious look on her face.
Otaki: We have been a apart of FSW since April of last year and throughout our entire time here so far we have seen, as well as experienced, many things…but there has been one thing that we’ve noticing being the most consistent. FSW stands for ‘Future Stars of Wrestling’ yet when it seems that many in the, so called, main roster finds it to be not worth a damn at all…
She pauses for a moment to let some boos come out before continuing.
Otaki: What are we talking about? Let’s see then…when we came to EWC we were told that it would be at FSW that we would need to start and prove ourselves to the rest of them, since FSW is what they call a development show. Sure we didn’t like it but we agreed to it so just with the hope of proving our worth…only to find people like Derek Wellings and Jaden ‘Xplode’ Hunter not viewing the place as anything worth noticing. That hurts…though, considering how most people who’ve held our Title before us either ran away, disappeared or took the first opportunity to jump to a ‘main roster’…we have to admit that they may have some reason behind their opinions. But then you have people like Alexis Morrison and Polly Pockets – who completely skip FSW for no apparent reason – who, when they achieve something great…they either run off to some other promotion or quit because they think they’re not being respected enough…
The milky skinned woman sighs in annoyance.
Otaki: That hurts us. But then – after Rumble at the Bronx, the night we won our right to a EWC Undisputed Title shot – did either Xplode or Drake bother to glance over towards FSW to see the talent it could possess? No…neither one of them bothered to even show up to a single FSW event all the way to our Championship match. Why? Because neither one of them thought FSW is worth anything. Isn’t the Undisputed Championship supposed to be the main Championship of all rosters? Then how come FSW is consistently IGNORED EVERY-DAMN-WEEK!?
The rise in temper was as clear as day to see upon the young Brit’s face as her last few words were not only shouted out but physically responded with the Highlight of the Night kicking out at the bottom rope before her free hand moves to run through her purple hair.
Otaki: Could it be because they all view FSW as some ‘development show’? Could it be because, while Brawl and Rampage get approximately three million views, FSW is only allowed to get a million on a good day? Could it be because some people are secretly thinking that FSW is lacklustre?
Those questions come out coldly and slowly as it almost seems like the youthful Brit is trying to keep herself calm…only for her expression to sharpen in almost disgust at what she was previously saying.
Otaki: THING ARE GOING TO CHANGE FROM RIGHT NOW!
Her latest scream bringing cheers out from the people in attendance as right afterwards the Englishwoman grabs the blocky part of the microphone, with the EWC logo on it, slide it off and savagely throw it out to the crowd before pointing at the FSW Championship around her waist.
Otaki: FSW might be about the future but the FUTURE IS NOW! As WE, us MARTYRS, promise EVERYONE this. WE are going to be holding this Championship for THE REST OF THIS YEAR. WE are going to WIN RUMBLE IN THE BRONX ONCE AGAIN. WE are going to CORRECT the WRONG of last year by WINNING THE UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP. And WE are going to BURN that very belt before hold our FSW CHAMPIONSHIP UP to show EVERYONE that not only is it WRONG is DISRESPECT all the hard working BOYS AND GIRLS who have DONE EVERYTHING THEY CAN for FSW…but also SHOW THEM ALL that 2017 is the YEAR OF FSW. Even if US MARTYRS have to take FSW and put it on OUR BACK and carry it to the finish line OURSELVES!!!
The sudden explosion of pure emotion has brought out thunderous cheers from the people of Austria as, shortly afterwards, the Emo Princess paces back and forth in the ring for a little bit before, once seeming to be a little less emotional than earlier, turning back to face the hard camera.
Otaki: Which will start at Scars & Stripes when we take on Hatch-
Heavy Metal Kings blares out and A$hley Quid comes out holding a bat and is followed by Hatchet Gully. they slowly walk to the ring but don't go in. Instead Gully walks around the ring while glaring at Otaki. A$hley get up on the apron behind Otaki. When Otaki turns to face her Hatchet jumps into the ring. She doesn't know what to do and A$hley jabs the bat at her and she backs up. When she turns around Hatchet gets in her face and they exchange words. A$hley then slowly comes up from behind her and holds the bat up with one hand then unlatches the belt from her waist with the swiftness of a pickpocket. Hatchet Gully grabs at the belt and pulls it off Otaki and backpedals while laughing. Otaki looks at them confused then when she realizes what happened she rushes him but A$hley gets in front of her and threatens to swing the bat. Hatchet pulls out a microphone from his pocket and laughs into it while admiring the belt.
Hatchet: Hold up, now. Dang. I just wanted to look at it... Here.
A$hley gets out of the way as Hatchet holds the Title out for Otaki. She is hesitant at first but she snatches it from Gully who backs up with a smirk.
Hatchet Gully: Chill, girl. I ain't 'bout that no more. Not yet at least. You won the title and I can accept that. I'll just have to wait a few more weeks to get my shot. Used to it. What I can't accept is that you wanna come out here and do some weak ass rallyin' cry for all of FSW. Bitch, you don't represent us. You don't represent me.
The audience boos loudly at this and he paces back and forth.
Hatchet Gully: Do you want to know why FSW is considered second rate? It's because Hatchet Gully isn't the champion. I got to live that life when I took that belt by force. Had all eyes on me and on FSW. I game that title more exposure and notice stealin' it than you did by barely winnin' it. I know how to be the headliner and I know what it takes to be the best. It damn sure ain't calling out others in EWC. It about thrivin' in spite of 'em. We don't need no Drake. We can let Xplode's memory die. We got Hatchet Gully and...
He looks around the ring and back at her.
Hatchet Gully: A$hley Quid.
They both laugh and Otaki shakes her head.
Hatchet Gully: Look, girl. The truth of it is that you're just a one hit wonder keepin' that belt warm. I was the one that took out Warren. We both been workin' at this for a while but you wouldn't be a champion without me. I figured it would either be me or Kingston as the last two standin' but I had to pull your purple haired ass along with me. No good deed, right? Well ain't it about time we fixed that?
He gets up in Otaki's face and they glare at each other. Without looking away
Otaki: Pulled our ass? Last time we checked, wasn’t it you that we pinned to become Champion?
She ask before smirking of amusement.
Otaki: If anything it was your ‘deal’ that made it easier for us by making sure we didn’t had to waste our time beating you before having to beat Creed and Stephen Kingston. So I guess we owe you a ‘thank you’…
The people of Vienna quickly start chanting ‘NO!’ yet it seems that the Purple Dynamo isn't acknowledging them at all as she raises her FSW Championship up for a moment before laying her down across the mat between herself and Hatchet.
Otaki: So why not, instead of waiting for Scars & Stripes, we get a referee out here and have your good deed ‘fixed’ right here, right no-
And at that moment, "Trophies" plays, and out walks James Tyson, mic in hand
JT: You two...nope. Not gonna happen. Not tonight. You two have a date in Ann Arbor, and you're gonna keep that date. But if you're so hard up for a fight, I know two men who'd gladly take you up on that offer. So tonight, in the main event, you two will join forces to take on Stephen Kingston and Vegas Lawson!
Wright: A blockbuster main event tonight, with the champion Otaki and her challenger Hatchet Gully having to join forces to face Vegas Lawson and Stephen Kingston!
Shelby: Looks like the mutual love between those two is gonna get busted tonight!
The duo of BEH and TDC had a mountain of a a man to conquor, and they tried hard to do so. But an angry Bane, still smarting from almost losing to James Larson and looking to prove a point before facing him again at Scars & Stripes, went after the duo with no remorse, and took both of them out with Bane effects, before pinning TDC for the win.
The camera finds Toby Sawyer wandering the corridors of the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, making his way towards the gorilla position.
The youngest referee in the Extreme Wrestling Corporation is known for watching as many matches live and close up as he can even if it means a lot of travel miles. Suddenly he stops in his tracks and visibly tenses down to his polished shoes.
The camera pans around to find Hope Diamond leaning against the wall at the nearest corridor corner already decked out her all-black wrestling gear.
Toby braces himself for the worst but instead of a verbal or physical assault he gets a brilliant smile from Mis(s) Fortune.
Hope:
“Hello Mister Sawyer. I´m glad to meet you because I did not have a chance yet to thank you.”
Toby:
“Uh?”
Hope:
“Yes. You helped holding me back before I could do something really stupid.”
Toby:
“Well, don´t mention it. I was just doing my job.”
Hope:
“A more I think. I most have left a horrendous impression on you that night. You known wrestling things can get very emotional sometimes. It was one of those moments. EWC is the best company around and I wanted to make the best possible impression so when I was counted out I somehow snapped. You see I´m one of the things I really want to protect Lexie from. She´s too much of a sweetheart in a world not made for sweethearts.”
Toby:
“Maybe you should tell her that and apologize?”
Hope:
“Wonderful idea. Maybe I do that one day. Anyway thanks for the assistance.”
Hope moves close to the young referee and place a quick kiss on his cheek.
Hope:
“Oops! Was that a bribe now? Let´s Hope not.”
With another sweet smile Hope turns and walks away leaving behind a slightly unsettled young referee.
These two, coming off hard battles in Serbia, did battle vs one another, and both went full out. Larson, a little banged up from his encounter with Bane, still showed a few aches and pains as Hope took full advantage, getting Larson down early, working over his ribs, but Larson came back strong, getting Hope back on her heels with his power game. However, Hope put in enough work on the ribs to get the advantage on Larson, finishing him with a Curse of the Diamond for a hard fought victory...which was short lived as Lexie Glass came running out from the crowd, jumping Hope from behind, taking her into an armbar the likes of which nearly snapped her arm until security could come break the two ladies apart.
The champion and challenger were seemingly on one accord tonight after the happenings at the start of the show. They moved with an eerie precision, taking down Kingston early and often with tag team moves. That roll was stopped with Vegas's intrusion into the match, as the wiley Lawson managed to get the champ and Gully off their game. Kingston's return to the fight got him a little bit of offense, but after taking Vegas out on the outside after he dropped the champ with a Vegas Nighty Night on the outside and went toe to toe with Gully, but Otaki recovered in time to distract Vegas while Gully hit Kingston with a Hidden Path to Shangri-La to win the night, as the show came to a close with Otaki holding the title and Gully staring it down.
