ON THE ROAD TO VIRIDIAN CITY
With that yell the lights suddenly burst into life, which reveals a woman in a purple cloak standing on the stage. While only her eyes and mouth could be seen from her hood. Her milky white skin, purple hair and the FSW Championship being wrapped around her waist making it rather obvious that this person is Otaki. Her cloak doesn't cover the front of her attire, a purple one-piece outfit with no sleeves or coverage for the legs and a pair of blue boots, as Otaki starts to go down the ramp-way. Once arriving the bottom of the ramp an unfamiliar look of discomfort appears on Otaki's face as she raises her hood up and off, revealing not only her face but also a red gem that is on her forehead. Once she reveals her face The Emo Princess moves up the steps and gets onto the apron before bending over the middle rope to enter the ring. Once inside the ring Otaki approaches the ring announcer and politely ask for the microphone. Once receiving it, with a rather cautious sounding ‘thank you’, she turns to face the cheering crowd.
Otaki: Thank you for such a kind reception.
Though trying to sound rather sweet, it is clear to the cheering people of South California that Otaki isn't as confident or comfortable in her location as she usually is.
Otaki: But we are here for an extra special reason, other than finally defeating Lexie Glass...
The mentioning of that name brought a 'Lexie Glass' chant from the ecstatic people in attendance, momentarily bringing a smile back upon The Emo Princess' face as she patiently waits for the chant to die down until continuing.
Otaki: And that reason is because of this-
She motions towards the titantron and immediately it brings up the following tweet:
before fading back to her in the middle of the ring.
Otaki:-so, James Tyson...will you please come out here and let us mar-
Something seem to be wrong as the FSW Champion notice something on the titantron with a surprised look before suddenly ducking. Passing the Purple Haired Dynamo, barely missing her and falling over in front of the milky skinned competitor, obviously this man has just tried to attack her. Judging by a camera being on its own on the steel steps this person is clearly one of the FSW cameramen as members of security suddenly swarm the ring to grab the cameraman and force him out of the ring.
Otaki:-that is it!
Loudly snaps from Otaki's lips as her look of surprise has been thoroughly replaced with a look of anger.
Otaki: For week, after week, we've had to watch our backs, met everyone we encounter with a readied fist and sleep with one our eyes open. All we know these attempts on us could've been orchestrated by our mysterious number one contender...no, since you ain't coming out here for us, James Tyson. We're going to go back there, find you and make you tell us.
With a sharp, if not threatening, declaration of her own the Purple Haired Dynamo drops her microphone, practically threw herself out of the ring and storms up the ramp with a look of eerie determination in he eyes as she disappears through the black curtains.
In this matchup, the team of BEH and TDC showed why they are a formidable team at times, working over Cheyenne early and often, tagging in and out, keeping her off balance. BEH even put Cheyenne down with a trio of her picture perfect dropkicks, getting a two count after the third one. The duo had the upper hand and seemed to have the match in control, but Cheyenne hit a leaping ensiguri out of nowhere on TDC, knocking her outside the ring, then following up quickly on BEH with The Ladies, then quickly hitting her with Woman's Scorn to get the win just before TDC could come in and stop the count.
Lyndsey Valentine knocks on the door of Otaki’s dressing room, getting no answer she knocks again after a few moments, still no answer Lyndsey knocks a third time a little more firmly this time. She’s about to turn and leave when she hears movement behind the door. A moment later the FSW Champion opens the door and stares at her.
OTAKI: Who are you and what do you want?
LYNDSEY: Easy now, Sweetie. I understand you’re probably a little jumpy, what with having a $50,000 Bounty placed on your head and whatnot but that’s no reason to be rude. Anyway, my name is Lyndsey Valentine and my husband is Matthew Kurtis he’s new to FSW but me and him have discussed this whole bounty issue and even though $50,000 is a pretty good payday the whole idea of being paid to deliberately take you out of wrestling and hurt you doesn’t sit well with me or my husband. So long story short I’m here to tell you that you have nothing to worry as far as we’re concerned, cause we won’t try to collect the bounty that A$hley Quid placed on you. In fact, Matt wanted me to tell you that if it’s okay with you, we’ll actually watch your back and do our best to keep you safe from any “bounty hunters” with Matt being 6’11” and almost 320 pounds that’s pretty good protection and I’m no slouch in a fight myself. What about it do accept our proposal?
OTAKI: You’re right I am a little jumpy, maybe even paranoid and like you said who wouldn’t be in my situation. I’ve never met you or your husband before this moment and since I don’t know if I can trust you or him, I’m going to decline your offer of “protection” because for all I know you could be leading me into a trap regardless of what you said. Like you stated yourself $50,000 is nothing to sneeze at and you could be trying to lure me into a false sense of security so the two can jump and since I can’t be sure of your intentions just go away and leave me alone!
LYNDSEY: Well bless your heart. Okay, if that’s the way you feel about it, Sweetie. We just wanted to be on the up-and-up. You don’t want our help? Well, that’s fine it’s your funeral but if I were you, I’d get used to looking over my shoulder. Have fun with that.
Lyndsey Valentine walks away from Otaki’s dressing room as the champ slams the door. Lyndsey looks angry and concerned as she walks away, could she have been telling the truth? Guess we’ll never know.
After last week's intro, we expected good things from Matthew Kurtis, and did he deliver. Both James & Vegas were no match for his fury early on, as Matt clearly came out looking to prove he was ready to play early and often. After that initial burst, the match settled down into a rhythm, each man taking a turn in the drivers seat, Kurtis with his big man offense working over the smaller Lawson and Larson, Lawson taking control with some underhanded tactics, and Larson keeping both off balance with his unorthodox offense. At times Lawson & Larson teamed up to keep Kurtis out of the action, but that didn't last long, as Kurtis kept overpowering both men. In the end, Kurtis took down Lawson with a Mafia Kick, and was about to set up the Bluegrass Bomb, but Larson managed to hit Kurtis with a dropkick, sending him over the top rope to the floor, and pinning Lawson himself, getting the win.
Earlier that day....
A red-haired gentleman stands before the camera, dressed in a suit that wouldn’t be out of place in a fashion magazine. He stands alone in a plain white void – or is it some kind of important room in a political building, impossibly clean and free from outsiders? Aside from a couple dozen colossal statues of men and women surrounding him, the red-haired man stands alone. There is a hint of a smile on his face.
“Good evening, Extreme Wrestling viewers. I’m Rush Hartwell, debuting Future Star of Wrestling, and I stand before you today to introduce the dawn of a new era.”
He leans on the closest statue.
“For those who don’t know, I’m the heir of the Hartwell family, the prodigal son who reclaimed his throne when all was said and done.”
He “accidentally” knocks the statue down, shattering the stone statue against the pavement. He pays no mind and walks to the next statue to lean on that one next as he continues to speak.
“Some may recognize me from my previously brief entry into the world of wrestling some years ago. In my short time, I’d say I was pretty great.” He pauses. “Actually, I take it back; I was the best. The whole world was captivated by my every move. It was through my experiences wrestling that I was able to transcend my family name and take my place, my throne, at what I thought was at the top. But… it’s not the top. I didn’t know what the top was until I looked into the EWC.
“And it is glorious." He knocks this statue down, too. He moves on, the camera following his steps. "Just the thought of this place makes me feel alive again. You see, your contenders, they are all mighty. I can’t take that away from them." A pause. "But to call them champions is... honestly, it's blasphemous.” He purposefully knocks another statue down, and then another, and then another. Despite the effort, there is no shortness of breath, no straining in his voice. He stops. "I can’t blame you; for the past 20 years, your standards have been shaped to believe this is the truth. So… I’m here to destroy your standards. Rid you of these false idols.” His footstep crunches the rubble beneath him. “Someone clean this up, will you?” He says to no one in particular.
Camera cuts to the shattered statues on the ground, various angles, showing that they weren’t just any statues. Among the fallen are familiar faces – EWC performers old and new – champions of the federation. Their stony faces are no longer whole, their sculpted bodies no more.
Cut back to Rush Hartwell, examining the nearest statue before also pushing it to the ground. He turns to the camera.
“I am the American God, and I’ve come to prove it. Yet, I am a fair God. A just God. Your run-of-the-mill, participation trophy challengers, they will all bow before me.” He bends over to pick up the head from one of the statues. “They will see my glory, and I in turn will carry them to five-star greatness and beyond.” He drops the head, and it shatters even more.
Rush stops briefly to examine the debris at his feet, considering himself. “Know that this is no political ad. I do not wish to curry your favor. I have earned my place in the world. Whether you are in the locker room, or in the stands, know this. The future will showcase my majesty whether you like it or not, and I will be your champion. After all, who better to be champion than a God?”
He knocks over the last statue, and with it Rush stands alone in this void. Camera pans to the rocky remains of the last figure. The face is unrecognizable, but the belt makes clear the title of the figure: champion. In the background, a thunderous piano key heard, slammed on, the echoing music all that is heard. Rush looks into the camera as it steadily zooms in on his face
“This is the beginning of a new age. That is my promise. You don’t have to believe. You’ll be a witness all the same.”
The feed cuts to black as you hear a mighty chorus of men sing in harmony the first words of his theme music as a final punctuation.
♫ “GLORIOUS.” ♫
The Hatchet man was back in full effect, showing why he's always a dangerous man in FSW, and a consistent contender, as both Jay and Gunther couldn't manage to get a handle on him. Even when Gunther and Jay were involved with each other, Hatchet was watching and injercting himself into the action, eventually finishing up with a Hidden Path on Reynolds for the win.
The scene opens to Criss Cassidy walking through the Colonial Life Arena. Cassidy walks up to Destiny Fairchild and the two shake hands.
Fairchild: Please welcome my guest at this time. EWC Prime superstar "The Second Coming" Criss Cassidy. Criss what brings you to FSW?
Cassidy: Well it's only right that the Future Stars of Wrestling include God's Gift to EWC. I've come to...
FSW's own Creator of Chaos Kristian Bane comes in and stands in-between Criss and Destiny before grabbing the microphone from Fairchild
Bane: Did you just call yourself "Gods gift to EWC"? You must be delusional or a fraud, probably BOTH! Let me tell you something, Criss. You're in FSW, You're standing in my living room right now because this whole thing IS MY HOUSE! This is where I spend ALL OF MY TIME! So if I were you, Criss, I would come a lot more humble next time because I may be a man of respect but I won't hesitate to break your jaw!
Bane glares and stands over Criss Cassidy.
Bane: You got me, MAN?!?
Cassidy: I guess your mama never taught you no manners. Is that how you treat a guest? Well your threats of violence don't phase me. It's gonna take more than some flexing to intimidate me. This place is called Future Stars of Wrestling and I'm up next.
Cassidy stands face to face with a large smile as Fairchild has to get intervene.
Fairchild: Alright boys that's enough. Does it look like I'm capable of breaking up a fight?
Bane: Fairchild, you can go! (Bane eases Fairchild away and gets face to face with Cassidy) If you choose this path I promise you it will NOT be worth it! I'm the Creator of Chaos and I dont care about any gods nor gifts. All I care is coming to your face and destroying you!
-Bane smiles slowly walking past Cassidy... Pats him on the back pretty hard.-
Bane: Welcome to FSW, KID!
-Bane walks off to a obvious aggitated Criss Cassidy.-
This match was a nice contrast in styles, and both men left nothing to chance, as both are trying to make a statement for the future. Kingston got over early on Bane, working him over with his arsenal of moves. Bane countered with that power offense, putting Kingston on his heels, but he countered, and turned the tables right back on Bane, starting to set up for the 15 Minutes, buit overshot his setup, giving Bane just enough of a window to hit Kingston with a Bane Effect, getting the win.
We've seen Lexie take the champ to her limits before, and this time around, Otaki was ready for Lexie. However, Lexie, more hardened by her battles and encounters with Hope Diamond, showed another level in the ring tonight, putting the skittish Otaki back on her heels for the early session. Lexie took it to the champ, giving her all she had and more, but Otaki has gained another level as well since winning the gold, and she withstands the Lexie barrage long enough to stun with a Kamehameha, then hit the Grand Finale for her 2nd win in a row.
Both these ladies...man, what a match they put on. Maggie, fresh off her big upset win over Otaki and a very good showing in the triple threat match that Cheyenne won two weeks ago, and Hope, whom defeated the reigning TV champ Valora Thomas on these airwaves at 43, both took the slow and steady route in the beginning, knowing that they both could possibly be on the shortlist of James Tyson, feel each other out. Hope took the advantage early with her catch all moves, but Maggie came back with her striking offense and got Hope on her heels. Maggie drove Hope back into the corner multiple time with strikes, but each time Hope weathered and countered, taking back the advantage. A double knee face breaker later, and Hope was on the offensive, working Maggie over with armbars, knee drops and the like, trying to weaken Maggie's left arm to slow her down and set up for the Curse. However, Maggie managed to withstand Hope, get back to her feet, and take her to the outside with a big desperation clothesline. Both ladies start trading blows, back and forth up the ramp before being counted out. Referees and security come out to seperate the two...
Wright: What an amazing main event we had between Hope Diamond and Mag-
ON THE ROAD TO VIRIDIAN CITY
Those words interrupts the Colour Commentator as immediately 'Viridian City' blares into the arena. Emerging from the black curtains is obviously none other than Otaki as, with the FSW Championship over her shoulder while also in a pair of jeans and a black shirt instead of her ring gear, she starts moving down to the ring with the seriousness of a predator stalking its prey. SHe splits the pile of people holding back Maggie and Hope, but seemingly not even noticing them because it looks like she is slightly bewildered, most likely because of all the events that has happened so far tonight.
Shelby: Well, earlier tonight, we've seen her say that she'd look for J-
Otaki: JAMES TYSON!
Loudly shouts from the Englishwoman's lips, directly into the microphone of the headpiece she ripped off Dick Shelby's head.
Otaki: We've spent almost night looking for you and we couldn't find you anywhere. Not in any corridor, parking lot or even your own god damn office! We're losing our mind here! All we know you're hiding the identity of the person that is turning everyone against us! So come on out here now and tell us who our number one contender is! We're not even positive of what we'll do if our demands is ignored.
Coldly departs from the FSW Champion's lips as, still holding the headpiece in one of her hands, she glares towards the stage with an animal-like look of bewilderment written all over her youthful face.
"Trophies" plays, and out walks James, dapper as always, first checking that Hope and Maggie have calmed down, but he motions for them to stay out here, before making his way into the ring, where Deneen has left the mic for him. He motions for Otaki to step into the ring, and she does, her eyes still full of fire.
JT: Otaki...that tweet was real and genuine. I do appreciate how you've carried yourself. I know it hasn't been easy with this bounty nonsense, but you're handling it like a champion should. And since you asked so nicely, I'll tell you and the FSW audience here and all around the world....
Shelby: It's time! Who's gonna get the title shot?!?!
JT: Future Stars showed up and showed out tonight, and all of you have made it hard to make a choice. But that choice has been made. In two weeks at NIght of Champions, LIVE on PPV and the EWC Network, your favorite martyr, the purple princess Otaki..
Otaki: Cmon James...get on with it...enough flattery.
JT: Fair enough madam...She will defend her FSW Championship against....Hope Diamond...
Wright: Oh my! That's gonna be a big time matchup!
JT:....AND Maggie Lockheart!
Shelby/Wright: WOW!!!
The crowd erupts with that announcement, as both Maggie and Hope stare up toward Otaki, who holds the FSW title in the air, staring both ladies down in sheer defiance, as FSW 44 comes to a close....
A errand camera searches the bowels of the Colonial Life Arena for an interesting aftermath to this FSW show when Maggie Lockheart fresh from her match enters the pictures. The camera zooms in but before the industrious production team member can get a few words from Lockheart another wrestler storms into focus. It is no one else than Hope Diamond and she has no words for the cammy either. Instead she charges into Maggie, hits her with a knee into her chest first and then catches her arm twisting it into a hellish armbar.
It isn't long before FSW staff enter the fray, both pleading with and attempting to pry Hope off of Maggie, but the armbar is cinched in tight. Maggie screams out as she tries to alleviate the effects of the armbar submission but it is immediately clear that she is in no condition to fight back after just wrestling in the main event. Despite all of the warnings and the tugs from staff members, Hope refuses to break the hold.
Hope manages to wrench the arm back to the point where Maggie's elbow is straight. With another pull she could snap Lockheart's arm easily.
Hope Diamond: Abandon all Hope and say Good Bye to your wing and your championship opportunity, little bird.
Hope positions herself to snap the arm of Lockheart, when suddenly Lexie Glass comes flying into frame where she takes out Hope Diamond with a kick to the head! Hope releases the hold as she rolls backward but Glass is all over her, wailing away with hammerfists and knee-strikes! Staff turn their focus on separating Glass from Diamond as Lexie continues to fight like a woman possessed! It takes three men to pull Lexie off of Diamond while Hope takes this moment to escape.
Lexie Glass: You fraggin´ bitch! I´m not done with you yet!
As Hope flees, Glass goes down to one knee to check on Lockheart, who is lying on the ground clutching her arm just above the elbow. She appears to be in serious pain, as the show fades to black...

MATCH 3
HATCHET GULLY Vs GUNTHER DOOLEY Vs JAY REYNOLDS
-Bane walks off to a obvious aggitated Criss Cassidy.-
MATCH 4
KRISTIAN BANE VS STEPHEN KINGSTON
This match was a nice contrast in styles, and both men left nothing to chance, as both are trying to make a statement for the future. Kingston got over early on Bane, working him over with his arsenal of moves. Bane countered with that power offense, putting Kingston on his heels, but he countered, and turned the tables right back on Bane, starting to set up for the 15 Minutes, buit overshot his setup, giving Bane just enough of a window to hit Kingston with a Bane Effect, getting the win.
NON-TITLE
LEXIE GLASS Vs OTAKI
We've seen Lexie take the champ to her limits before, and this time around, Otaki was ready for Lexie. However, Lexie, more hardened by her battles and encounters with Hope Diamond, showed another level in the ring tonight, putting the skittish Otaki back on her heels for the early session. Lexie took it to the champ, giving her all she had and more, but Otaki has gained another level as well since winning the gold, and she withstands the Lexie barrage long enough to stun with a Kamehameha, then hit the Grand Finale for her 2nd win in a row.
MAIN EVENT
MAGGIE LOCKHEART Vs HOPE DIAMOND
