We return from commercial with Captain Morgan Darkwater in the ring, the bruises on his face evident from the thrashings Neo James Carner and himself had been exchanging lately.
Aiello: The TV Champion is in the ring right now and I got no answers for ya’ as to why
Carter: He’s looking for a fight it looks like!
Morgan paces up and down the ring, a stride in his step that showed signs of impatience. He has the microphone in his hand as he starts to bellow.
Morgan: I dun’ care if we be having a match later, I want Neo James Carner, and I want him right now, right here in this ring! If any of the EWC staff don’t like it, if even that scallywag Victor Price wants me to leave this ring, I’ll have to tell him I’m disinclined to acquiesce to his request, which is a fancy way of saying hell no I ain’t leaving till I get that vermin plague Neo strung up by the laces of his bootstraps!
Morgan paces around in silence, the fever of the crowd was becoming fervent as the anticipation was high, the suspense was thrilling!
Morgan: Are ye’ ReV boys too busy helping ye’ get the courage to face me like a man later on tonight!? Is it really me ye’ be fearing, or it be the lass Rebel Rhodes!?
Morgan stands in vile frustration.
Morgan: NEO GET YER YELLA' ASS OUT HERE BOY! IT’S TIME WE END THIS!
Suddenly “Paint It Black” begins to play, the ReV graphics playing over the BRAWLtron. Slowly Neo creeps out from the back of the Gorilla Position, a leering eye on his face but a cocky smug grin on his lips.
NJC: What’s a matter Morgan? You seem a little upset, could it be...You know you’re in trouble? You know your days are numbered and soon, the rightful man will be taking your prestigious gold trinket, then soon one day ascend to the ranks of EWC Undisputed Champion? Does that itch claw and scratch at the back of your mind?
Morgan: “Ye’ be mad if you think that! I just be looking to FINISH what we started like A MAN!”
NJC: “Don’t you even dare try to call yourself that, you lost all your balls when you decided to dress in Pirate Drag! You’re not a man, never have been, never will be! You’re a God damn COSTUME! I’m a MAN, I’m Neo James Carner, the super elite WRESTLER! Soon to be Champion! You’re fucking Captain Morgan Darkwater...The PIRATE!”
The crowd pops big for Morgan, they don’t care what he is, they support him!
NJC: “And they all eat it up like sheep gnawing at your by products of amusement. I see through the veil of lies...But I suppose you are right about something…”
Morgan: “Aye, and what that be, land lover?”
NJC: “For too long you’ve stood in the way of me ascending to my rightful place in the highest echelons of EWC Fame and Fortune. Guys like you put a dent in the ReVenat armor, low class losers like Jackson Knox and Hayden Cambric think they fire from the hip and try to make us out to be some kind of jokes...But that thing, that thing you were right about…”
Neo stands in the middle of the rampway.
NJC: “It is time we end this…”
Neo throws up a V hand signal into the air with his right arm. As if on cue on opposite sides of the ring Keith Williams and Rob Garcia hop over the ramp with microphones in tow.
Rob: “Uh oh! Someone doesn’t know they’re about to get their chest cracked open and we’re going to raid that booty!”
Keith: Halloween’s over, Errol Flynn...wait, no...Nobody will get that, alright Burchill, it's time to GO! Time we pack you, your parrot and your Jack Sparrow cosplay and maroon you on an island!”
Rob: “Keith, booty is slang for treasure right?”
Keith: “Morgan’s about to learn the new meaning of stiff peg legging!”
Rob and Keith hop onto the apron then slowly enter the ring. Morgan quickly rushes at Rob Garcia, hammering on his back with clubbing strikes. Keith runs up behind the Captain, pitching his microphone at the Captain’s back! The thrown mic stuns Morgan momentarily but then Keith drives a stiff elbow into the nape of Morgan’s neck. Morgan doubles over as Rob spears the pirate in the guts to the ground, throwing hammer fists to Morgan’s face as Keith throws mean Pesci style kicks into the ribs and hips of Morgan.
NJC: “You see...You have a motley crew of jolly pirates with their jolly nicknames...I have WRESTLERS, not just any wrestlers! But SUPER ELITE Wrestlers! The best in the world, and we don’t hang together for money, or fame or women, we do it because talent respects talent~! We’re the three greatest and we know there’s nowhere to go but up for us!”
Rob lifts up Morgan to a kneeling position, driving stiff forearm shiver strikes to Morgan’s jaw. Keith drives his sharp elbow into the point of Morgan’s neck meets his shoulder. The two hoist Morgan up by his arms as Neo James Carner ascends to the apron and stands outside the ring.
NJC: “It’s a shame it has to end this way, but I’m afraid DOWN is the only place you’re going.”
NJC pushes through the ropes and stands in the ring. Waving his hands at Rob and Keith to whip Morgan over to him, slapping his knee as it appears he has a Neo Classical Sympho-Knee in mind! Rob and Keith whip Morgan into Neo who gets a running start, he goes for the knee but Morgan swings for the fences with a last ditch effort lariat that nearly takes Neo’s head off and may have made a lesser man shit his pants!
Bennett: “He nearly tore Neo’s head off with that sickening lariat!”
Carter: “Carner’s down! That’s Carner, not Carter!”
Aiello: “It’s a sickening display by these ReVenants jumping Morgan, but he isn’t done just yet!”
Morgan tries to get back up to his feet but Keith Williams and Rob Garcia are on him like bubble gum on velcro with pelting fists and kicks. Neo James Carner stumbles to the ropes, using them to help him up to a vertical base. Neo wipes his mouth, a spray of crimson on his finger tips as he growls in frustration. Neo staggers around the ring, picking up the microphone and he yells into it.
NJC: “You smarmy son of a bitch! A fighter till the bitter end! Emphasis on the END, because this is it!”
Neo says as he flips his microphone upside down and uses it like a dagger and stabs it into Morgan’s head on the ground. The three men continue their vicious mugging, ransacking and pillaging Morgan’s carcass for all the life that’s left in him. The three pull away, Morgan laying on the floor in a crumbled heap. He spits out blood on the pure white canvas, he coughs a couple of times as his hand nurses his hip. Neo James Carner stands, pointing at Morgan and then asking his fellow ReVs to keep an eye on him. Neo exits the ring for several moments, tossing a steel chair from outside into the ring, then pulling out a table. Neo goes about setting the table up on the outside.
Bennett: “Neo’s not directing traffic here, he’s doing the foot work while Keith and Rob stand guard like starving vultures!”
Carter: “They’re going to pick his pirate carcass clean!”
Aiello: “Someone needs to get out here and stop this now, this is a man’s livelihood! He could be seriously injured!”
Morgan is slowly regaining his motor functions, slowly getting up to his feet. Keith and Rob stand on either side of him, giving him a chop crotch salute before they jump back then forward with a double seated superkick that sends Morgan crashing back onto the canvas. Neo rolls into the ring as he hikes his hands up, asking his good ReV brothers to hoist the Captain to his feet. Neo Carner grabs the steel chair from earlier, opening it and then placing it like a bear trap around Morgan’s neck. Neo then points to the table set up outside the ring. Looks like things were going to be spelling disaster for Darkwater very soon.
Bennett: “They’re going to put Morgan through that table with the chair around his neck!”
Aiello: “Somebody call security! They’re going to kill this guy!”
Suddenly "Freak Like Me" by Halestorm sounds off over the PA system as Rebel Melinda Rhodes and her handy dandy pal Molly come a storming out with their own weapons in hand, a scarlet red aluminum bat and a chrome chain respectively. They come barreling down to the ring at top speed. Morgan yanks the chair off his head and pelts Neo in the mouth during the momentary distraction.
Carter: “Whoa!”
Aiello: “The tide is turning!”
Neo hits the floor and rolls out of the ring, tucking tail and getting out of dodge. Keith and Rob seeing the numbers game could be reversing shortly, quickly roll out of the ring as well high tailing it with Neo as they escape through the crowd with their dignity mostly intact, maybe not Neo James Carner though.
Aiello: “Thank Goodness Molly and Melinda showed up when they did!”
Rebel and Molly enter the ring, checking on Morgan, Rebel goes to put a hand on Morgan’s shoulder but he quickly snaps around almost striking Melinda in the face but he stops himself at the last second.
Bennett: “Whoa there, Rebel better watch herself!!”
Aiello: Things almost got very personal there for a second, tensions are mounting on our way to the main event!
Morgan goes to apologize, but Rebel’s body language says she might just attack him before he does! Morgan keeps his distance, putting his hands up. The tension is there.
Bennett: Things could go from bad to worse here.
Carter: Guys, you think Neo should change his last name? I mean, it’s almost Carter, and I’m afraid people are gonna start saying I ripped him off.
Aiello and Bennett don’t justify Carter with a response as Morgan and Rebel exchange a tense staredown, Molly trying to play damage control before anything gets out of hand.
Aiello: Rebel and Morgan have always been good friends, but that relationship is about to be put to the test here later tonight ...
SINGLES MATCH
JOHN BLADE
VS SEAN WILLIAMS
Aiello: ... and here we go folks .. our first match of the night .. features the debut of Sean Williams and of course the one and only John Blade
Carter: Blade has made it known from near and far, on the top of mountains, in calls, in letters, emails and faxes .. he wants a shot at Darkwater after he wins this match tonight
Bennett: Who the fuck uses fax machines anymore?
Carter: Blade has made it known from near and far, on the top of mountains, in calls, in letters, emails and faxes .. he wants a shot at Darkwater after he wins this match tonight
Bennett: Who the fuck uses fax machines anymore?
Stroup: THE FOLLOWING IS A STANDARD SINGLES MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! INTRODUCING FIRST!!!
Invincible hit's when the curtains open he walks out onto the stage and looks at his fans in salutes to them and runs straight down towards the ring and holds up his six fingers and the air and runs back in fourth to the ropes and toss his hat to the crowd and throws up his pose again in waits for his Opponent to arrive, wearing his trademark baseball cap and matching t shirt. With a salute to the crowd, he began running to the ring, where he slid in and quickly got to his feet and tossed his hat into the crowd. After a bit more posing, he removed his t shirt and also tossed it into the crowd to fight his Opponent.
Stroup: FROM WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS!!! HE STANDS AT 6' 1" AND WEIGHS IN AT 251 LBS!!! JJJJOOOOOOHHHHHHNNNNNNN BBBBBLLLLLAAAAAADDDDDDEEEE!!!
Carter: You've got to give it up for Blade. Every match he enters with great enthusiasm.
Bennett: If nothing else, it always brings a smile to my face watching that dumb sumbitch get his ass kicked every week.
Aiello: You're all heart, Steve.
Bennett: I know I am, Joe. I'm the kindest son of a bitch in this room because I will tell you exactly what you need to hear.
Carter: He did manage a legit win over Donovan Baine last week.
Bennett: Yeah and I think that mofo was high as a kite on something. We're still waiting to hear back on that boy's drug tests.
Stroup: AND HIS OPPONENT!!!
The arena goes dark just before Monster by Skillet begins to play strobe lights of white and red flash across the entrance as Sean Steps from the back, his hood up his devil mask covering his face. He stands at the entrance and looks out over the crowd as the Announcer speaks.
Stroup: FROM BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTES!!!! STANDING 5’9" AND WEIGHING 180 LBS!
Sean walks down to the ring where he rolls under the rope and once inside the ring he crouches on one knee where he removes his mask and hood. Standing he turns and glares across the ring at John Blade who bounces back and forth with anticipation.
Stroup: THE CHAOS BBBBRINGER!!! SEAN !!
Aiello: Interesting guy, this "Chaos Bringer" Sean Williams. A Canadian - English transplate now living out of Boston, he started out fighting in underground night clubs for cheap cash, moved on to Mexico where he got his name and just before coming to EWC, he was making a name for himself on the indy scene.
Bennett: One of those rough and tumble cats that bought in the hardway. I'll admit, I thought he was a cricket player of the same name.
Carter: Wait, you watch cricket?
Bennett: Yeah, what of it?
Carter: You just don't look like the cricket type.
Bennett: There's alot out there you don't know, Maxine.
The referee motions for the bell.
DING DING DING!
Immediately Blade and Williams lock up and The Chaos Bringer finds himself quickly overpowered, or does he? He suddenly falls back and drops Blade to the canvas with a double leg trip. Blade recovers quickly, both men on their feet. Blade goes for a grapple, only to suffer a stiff forearm shot to the side of his head, followed by a series of hard left hand blows. Blade answers back with a few of his own, the two trading shots, only for Williams to win the exchange with a snap Enziguri right to John's temple that sends him staggering into the ropes!
Aiello: Tie up and the shorter Williams is backed up by Blade. Feint away and double leg trip takes Blade down but not for even a second. Oh! Forearm shot and Williams is just lighting Blade up! Williams wins the exchange with an Enziguri that nearly sends Johnny through the ropes!
Sean rushes to the opposing ropes and snaps off just as John shoves off as well. He runs head long into a stiff leaping shoulder block from Blade. Blade's on his feet first, hits the ropes and snaps back as Sean gets to his feet. John leaps up a second time, only for Sean to roll to the side, letting John hit the canvas with enough momentum and force that he just slides right out of the ring!
Bennett: HE MISSED HIM! DUMB SUMBITCH MISSED HIM! BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Aiello: John tried for a second running shoulder block and just lawn darted himself right into the arena floor!
As Blade gets to his feet, he's met with a head on diving collision from Sean via a Corkscrew Plancha. Both men land on the floor in a tangled heap!
Carter: CORKSSSCCCRRREEEW PLANCHA!!
Aiello: He got alot of height over that rope with that suicide move!
Bennett: He's so lightweight I could throw him like a sack of potatoes through a window.
Sean gets to his feet first, picking Blade up with him and tossing him back into the ring. He then climbs onto the apron and pulls back on the ropes, waiting for John to get back up. When that happens, he slingshots up and over only to be caught by John and spun to the canvas with a spinout powerbomb!
Carter: Every now and then, something goes right for Blade with that Spinout Powerbomb counter!
John quickly makes the cover!
ONE!
T-KICKOUT!
Aiello: One and a half!
Sean kicks out and John gathers him up, then tosses him into the nearest turnpost. Blade then rushes full steam ahead only to eat two boots to the chest that send him staggering back. Blade musters up his energy, gritting his teeth and shaking his arms, before running at Sean again. The feet nail Blade in the chest once more, but only knocked back a step as Sean vaults to the top rope and nails Blade with a diving Double Axe Handle blow!
Bennett: Sometimes bread and butter is what'll do.
Blade staggers back and then roars with anger, spinning back around with a clothesline and ROCKING Sean Williams right off his feet!
Aiello: It didn't drop him and OOOh what a Clothesline by John Blade! He may have just knocked the man senseless!
Blade hops in place, roaring at the top of his lungs as he shakes his arms at the heavens above him. He then gathers Sean up onto his shoulders in a Fireman's carry....
Carter: Think he's gonna' hit the Razor Blade?!
Bennett: He better not! I got $20 against that sumbitch!
Just as it looks like Blade's about to finish him, suddenly Sean whips off his shoulder, hooks John in a front facelock, and then lifts him vertically in a suplex hold, only to drop with a skull crushing DDT he calls THE CHAOS DRIVER!!! On impact, he rolls Blade onto his back for a pin!
Bennett: Who saw that coming? I just won me an easy $20 bucks!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTHHRRREEEE!!!
DING DING DING!
Stroup: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH BY PINFALL!!! SEAN !!!
Carter: *grumbling as he passes Bennett a $20* ...You'd think I'd know better.
Bennett: Yeah, you think you would ..
Aiello: Sean Williams picks up the win in his debut! He will remember this one for some time .. he looked good out there .. we will be back with our next match right after this
SINGLES MATCH
KEITH WILLIAMS
VS HAYDEN CAMBRIC
KEITH WILLIAMS
VS HAYDEN CAMBRIC
Aiello:What a night! And we're not slowing down anytime soon. Up next, Keith Williams takes on newcomer, Hayden Cambric. The egos between the two of them ... we may have an implosion!
Carter: From what little we have seen of him on EWC.com, Cambric seems to be a promising young star. He's looking to make a name for himself and he gets that opportunity here tonight. This will be his first match up, live on Brawl!
Bennett: Going to be quite a task for him. Keith Williams has no intentions of welcoming the newcomer with open arms. He looks to leave Hayden Cambric with a bad taste in his mouth at his own debut.
Aiello:We hand it over to Jessica Stroup to get this one started!
Jessica Stroup: The following contest is scheduled for one fall ...
Bittersweet Symphony plays and the fans rise to their feet to give up their vocal displeasure of Hayden Cambric as he swipes the velvet curtain aside and emerges into view. Standing atop the ramp only for a moment, he surveys the crowd a single span then heads toward the ring, unbuttoning his suit jacket as he goes. His penetrating blue eyes stay fixated on the ring the entire time and he makes no special theatrics once at ringside. From there he simply steps up the stairs and enters into the ring. As he goes to his corner he sheds the suit jacket, revealing a nice white dress shirt and tie. He leaves his suit pants and $10,000.00 suede shoes on while he prepares to start the match.
Jessica Stroup: Introducing first ... residing in New York City and weighing in at two hundred thirty five pounds ... making his Brawl debut ... he is HAYDEN CAMBRIC!!!
There are some murmurs among the crowd as they wonder what to expect from the newcomer.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent ...
The arena is plunged into darkness as "Roman Holiday" by Every Time I Die screeches its way out of the speakers, triggering the attention of those in attendance to the stage where dark blue lights have started to go off. As the tempo of the song picks up, it can barely be seen that someone has made their way out in the middle of the darkness, planting themselves in the middle of the stage. As the opening lyrics are shouted out, the lights come back on and we're shown the back of Keith Williams as he's pointing at what's on his clothing. He's noticeably wearing a black denim vest that's covered in patches of bands, with the words "California C*nt" printed on the back in a font style you might find with a death metal or black metal band, directly below this is a giant mustache graphic that's been ironed on as well.
Williams spins around, stroking his mustache and gleefully taking a look out at the crowd. He slowly saunters his way down the rampway to ringside, taking his time to taunt fans on either side of him. As he reaches the ring, Keith goes to enter by rolling under the bottom rope, but hesitates for a moment to thrust against it to the beat of the song, eventually getting to his feet and treating everyone with another round of mustache strokes for good measure. He mounts the turnbuckle nearest to him, hopping up to the middle rope and posing with his arms spread wide. As the music dies down, KW abandons his post and tosses his vest to a company stooge on the outside, taking to practicing his elbows in the corner before the match begins.
Jessica Stroup: Now residing in Sacremento, California and weighing in at two hundred thirty four pounds ... he is The Sultan of Sleaze ... KEITH WILLIAMS!!!
Aiello: Both competitors looking ready to go. This one about to get under way.
Referee Josh Daniels checks over both competitors and makes sure they remain in their corners before calling for the bell.
DING DING DING
Williams and Cambric meet in the center of the ring and start with a collar and elbow tie up. Cambric gains the advantage with a side headlock. Williams shoves him off into the ropes. Cambric with a clothesline on the return, but a duck under by Williams. Cambric spins around and is caught with a European uppercut that staggers him a bit. Williams takes him for an Irish whip to the turnbuckle but it is reversed and he instead is sent crashing into the corner.
Aiello: Quick back and forth action early on. Cambric with an underground .. I suppose fighting background from what we understand, not afraid to go for the gusto. And Williams having an extensive technical ground game, very calculated.
Bennett: This may just come down to experience. And in that regard, the edge definitely goes to Williams.
Cambric rushes the corner with a shoulder tackle, however, Williams moves out of the way and instead, Cambric finds himself meeting ring post with his right shoulder as he lunges forward. He clutches his shoulder in agony as he slowly backs off of the mishap. Though he is given no repreive as he turns around into an armdrag takeover. Williams follows up with an armbar, placing pressure on the shoulder he'd just injured.
Aiello: Oh and a misstep by Cambric! This isn't good for the newcomer as Keith Williams is taking full advantage.
Bennett: His arm has now become a target, and Williams is going to zero in on it.
Carter: This spells trouble for the newcomer as it will severely hinder his approach.
Williams holds his arm against the canvas. He pushes off of the canvas with his feet and sends his knee CRASHING down into Cambric's shoulder. Cambric groans upon impact. Williams repeats this twice more, harshly targeting his shoulder. He hauls Hayden to his feet, and suddenly Cambric strikes with a quick swinging neckbreaker. Williams hits the canvas and this buys Hayden some time, however he further agitates his own shoulder in the process.
Carter: Quick thinking by Cambric. He needs to create some separation for the time being. Give himself a chance to work out that shoulder.
Bennett: I don't know that I agree with that. He needs to remain on the offensive. You don't give Keith Williams time to rest.
Cambric pushes himself back to his feet, trying to rotate his shoulder to get the kinks out. He does, however stay after Williams as he brings him to his feet now. She responds with a rolling capture armbreaker that floors the newcomer again and damages his shoulder even further. He writhes in pain as he stumbles back to his feet. Williams is waiting and sends him HARD into the ring post shoulder first. This now having been the second time Cambric's shoulder had struck the steel.
He wobbles back after the impact, still clutching his shoulder as he is hooked up and planted to the canvas for a rotating spinebuster. Williams keeps on him for the pinfall attempt. Daniels slides into position.
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE--
NO! Cambric shoots his shoulders up off of the canvas.
Aiello: Williams showing the rookie no mercy at all! That was a close call there. Could have been over.
Bennett: He shouldn't show him any mercy. He came here to fight. Being new doesn't give you an easy pass. Cambric is just like any other competitor.
Carter: That is very true. I'm sure he would take advantage if the situation had been reversed.
Cambric crawls to the ropes and begins pulling himself up. Williams simultaneously out of the pinfall and back to his feet. He measures Cambric, waiting for him to make it back to his feet. As he does, he turns around into a stiff boot to the midsection. Williams grabs him to lift him up.
Aiello: K-DRIVER! He's ending it early!
However, Cambric blocks the attempt by shoving his foot under the rope. He fires off a few shots to his ribs and Williams releases his grip. Cambric wastes no time, he grabs Williams for a belly to belly suplex and launches him up and over the top rope! He crashes to the floor below on the outside in front of the announce table.
Carter: Cambric had that one scouted! He stays alive and now has a chance to mount an offensive!
Cambric rolls himself to the outside. Williams is wobbly making it back to his feet. The newcomer hoists him up and sends him back down with a harsh scoop slam on the outside mats. Hayden groans and rotates his shoulder as it was still suffering the effects of the earlier onslaught. Daniels is instructing him to get Williams back into the ring, but as Cambric looks around, he has other ideas in mind. He makes his way to the announce table and pulls the top off of it. He then removes the monitors and tosses them aside. Everyone hops up from their seats and step off to either side of the table.
Carter: Cambric has something big in mind here!
Aiello:This doesn't look like it's going to end up good.
Daniels begins his ten count as Cambric hauls Williams back to his feet, rolling him onto the announce table. He hits him with a forearm to the head for good measure.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Cambric rolls back into the ring and begins to climb the turnbuckle. The crowd looks on in awe as he stands precariously on the turnbuckle, balancing himself.
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
He takes a few steps onto the ropes, walking them like a tightrope as he lines himself up with the announce table. In a swift motion he leaps off of the ropes and down toward the announce table!
Aiello: HEADBUTT OF THE CENTURY! He's going for it ALL!
However, Williams rolls himself out of the way JUST in time and the newcomer CRASHES through the announer table as it collapses underneath him.
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Holy Shit!
Carter: Cambric is OUT!
Bennett: And our table is kaput!
The dive from the rope breaks up the former count on Williams, and Daniels is forced to start another count on both stars.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Williams rolls himself into the ring. Cambric is still out of it, his body strewn among plastic, wood and various debris after the crash. Williams takes his time to recuperate as Cambric has not yet moved.
Carter: If Cambric is counted out here, Williams walks out of here victorious. It doesn't look good for him at all.
Bennett: I think he knocked himself out cold trying to take that high risk. It didn't pay off.
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
Finally, there are signs of life as Cambric pushes the debris away from him. He slowly crawls toward the ring. Perhaps on instinct alone as he hears Daniels' voice calling the count. He continues crawling reaching a hand up, trying to grab hold of the apron.
EIGHT!
NINE!
TE--
With no time to spare, he uses every ounce of strength he can muster to pull himself into the ring. Barely beating the count.
Carter: I can't believe he made it!
Bennett: That might have been a foolish move as he is still VERY out of it.
Aiello: He might not last much longer here at all.
Cambric is definitely still out of it as he lays on the canvas, trying to regroup. Though he isn't given any time for that as Williams drags him away from the ropes and into the center of the ring. He drops down over him for a pinfall. Daniels in position.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--
NO! Cambric manages to get a shoulder up.
Carter: Amazingly, Cambric still in this thing!
Bennett: This is all strategy at this point for Williams. Every time Cambric has to force his shoulders off the mat, he is expelling more energy.
Aiello:I don't know how much energy he could possibly have left after that crash out here.
Williams hauls Cambric to his feet and hooks him up for a Regal-Plex, hooking up the leg and he remains with it for the pinfall once again. Daniels slides into position.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--NO!
Again, Cambric manages to get his shoulder up!
Aiello:He continues to stay in this thing. What heart shown by the newcomer, Cambric.
Bennett: At some point you have to ask yourself if the heart is worth it? Live to fight another day.
Williams grabs hold of the back of his head and hauls him again to his feet. He lifts him for another suplex, but he slides off of the attempt and instead grabs his waist, pulling him up and over for a German Suplex of his own. He keeps his hands locked and bridges up as Williams' shoulders are flat on the canvas. Daniels again makes the count.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--
NO! Williams shoots his shoulder off the canvas.
Carter: And a near fall for Cambric! That was out of nowhere!
Bennett: He still has some fight left in him after all!
Williams rolls out of the attempt, a little dazed after the sudden tide change. Cambric is still suffering the effects of his missed dive. Williams is first to his feet and as Cambric gets to his, he explodes at him with a clothesline. But he ducks it and instead grabs Keith for a Russian leg sweep.
Aiello: Cambric avoiding the closeline and he has Williams down. He needs to capitalize here.
Bennett: But can he? He is still devastated after crashing into the announce table. I'm still devastated. Where am I going to set my diet coke?
Cambric wastes no time as he forces himself to his feet. He grabs hold of both ends of the top rope in the corner and launches himself off. Trying for the second time.
Aiello: HEADBUTT OF THE CENTURY AGAIN!
Carter: And this time he connects!
He crashes down into Williams with perfect execution. After the impact, he hooks the leg, keeping him down for the pinfall.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--
NO! Williams again shoots his shoulder off of the canvas. Cambric looks slightly stunned as he rolls off of the pinfall.
Aiello:Another near fall! Cambric bringing everything he has here tonight.
Carter: I am impressed. He is hanging with Williams in this, his first match since signing with the company.
Bennett: For the time being, anyhow.
Cambric slowly back to his feet now as he looks to continue the offense against Williams. As he makes it back to his feet, Cambric hauls him up with a double underhook backbreaker. Williams is down on the canvas and Hayden looks to take to the skies once again, climbing the turnbuckle.
Aiello:Another high risk maneuver!
Carter: Williams is in trouble!
Cambric dives off the turnbuckle for a diving leg drop. But Williams rolls out of the way. The newcomer lands HARD on his tail bone. He remains in a seated position on the mat as he howls out in pain. Williams capitalizes on the situation as he grabs hold of his arms from behind, and flips over pulling his arms out with him, forcing Cambric against the canvas!
Aiello:T.O.L.O! He has nowhere to go!
Bennett: This is it! This is it!
Cambric screams out in agony as Williams wrenches the hold, applying pressure, causing the tension to target his shoulders. He apples more and more pressure. Daniels is there to check for the submission. Cambric screams out in pain but he won't give in.
Carter: How much longer can he endure this? His shoulder has got to be damn near broken by now!
Bennett: It's only a matter of time. He should just give up and save himself long term injury.
Williams continues to wrench his signature submission hold and Cambric is struggling. But he uses his feet to try and walk himself toward the ropes. Inch by inch he uses his feet to drag himself closer.
Carter: I don't believe this. There's no way he can reach the ropes. This is insane!
Bennett: The man is crazy!
Williams is not giving him any reprieve as he keeps the hold locked in tightly. Cambric continues to inch his way forward and he somehow manages to get his foot under the bottom rope! The crowd is riled up for both stars as the match continues on. Daniels begins his count for Williams to release the hold.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Williams releases the hold. The damage having been done.
Aiello:I am in awe right now. Cambric somehow managing to make his way to the ropes. Battling the pain searing in his arms. This is amazing!
Bennett: But he is hurting badly. Williams is going to continue to pick him apart.
Williams grabs hold of Cambric's arms and drags him back to the center of the ring. And AGAIN he applies T.O.L.O.
Aiello:Oh this is it. He can't possibly endure another round of torture to his arms.
Bennett: Wait look!
However, Williams never gets the hold fully applied the second time around as Cambric powers his way free of the hold. He makes his way to his feet, as does Williams and he strikes again!
Aiello:TOP POPPER!!!!
Carter: Oh my God! He might have it!
Williams is PLANTED into the canvas and Cambric immediately hooks the leg. Exhausted and tired, he nods his head in tune to Daniels' count.
ONE!
TWO!
THRE--NO!
Bennett: He kicked out!
Carter: And Cambric can't believe it!
Cambric sits up and stares at Daniels with a look of disbelief. He confirms that the count was only two and three quarters. Cambric wipes his hands over his face as he slowly makes his way to his feet. Thinking of what he must do to win. He hauls Williams to his feet again. And again Top Popper! He is PLANTED into the canvas once more.
Carter: ANOTHER ONE! It has to be over!
Bennett: This is CRAZY! That is now TWO Top Poppers.
Cambric shakes his head, not satisfied with just using one Top Popper this time. He hauls Williams up again and lifts him for ANOTHER one ... dropping Williams with AUTHORITY!
Aiello: This is now the THIRD Top Popper that Williams has been hit with.
Bennett: And he nailed ALL OF IT this time, DAMN!
Cambric falls onto Williams for the cover, still quite out of it himself. Daniels in position.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Williams kicks his shoulder off of the mat, but just a millisecond too late.
DING DING DING
Jessica Stroup: Here is your winner... HAYDEN CAMBRIC!!!
Carter: There is nothing you can say about Cambric except that he has the heart and the drive to make it here. Tonight he took Keith Williams to the limit and managed to pull what some would consider an upset. I see a bright future ahead for this young man. Wow, what a contest!
Bennett: Oh absolutely. I think he has proven to a lot of people in the back that he is the real deal. He has definitely earned some respect. Williams left nothing to be desired. HELL of a fight, but on this night it just wasn't meant to be. Knowing Williams though, I'd bet top dollar he's back in the victory saddle the very next time we see him.
Aiello: Unbelievable contest. This is what Monday Night Brawl is all about. The best competition on the planet! Don't go anywhere folks, we have plenty more action in store as Brawl continues! We'll be right back!
We see Captain Morgan Darkwater backstage, this time in a basic green room with wall-mounted TVs showing the action ringside and PPV posters tacked to the walls and door. Once again he's pacing the room with frantic purpose, TV title over his right shoulder and a large tankard in hand. His face is red as the devil, the shots he took from the ReVs earlier still visible, and he looks determined to unleash hell. Into the frame steps Melinda Rhodes, now in full ring gear with her title upon her left shoulder. She gives him a small nod, a grim but determined look on her face.
Rebel: Sorry I wasn't there a bit sooner, Morgan. I was all the way on the otherside of the arena when that shit was going down and if it weren't for Molly watching the phone app, I might not have made it at all.
He rounds at the sound of her voice, tensed for a second before he realises it's her, his expression settling minutely to one of wrathful restraint.
Morgan: That be quite all right, lass - truth be told, I be glad fer th' assist later better than ne'er. Did ye see what those weevil-dick curmudgeons were 'bout t' do t' me? ME, th' TV Champion! E'en wit' a prestigious title I get no respect... it's criminal, an' I be damn near at me limit!
The Rebel tilts her head at him for a moment, then lets her eyes trail off towards the Stable Wars Poster on the backwall, then snap back to him.
Rebel: I don't know, I'd say it's a sign you're winning El Capitan.
She pats his shoulder and points over at the poster on the wall. He follows her finger and sees his image posed on the poster, then looks back to her.
Rebel: See that? You're front and center this pay per view.
Melinda shoots him a small smirk.
Rebel: You are more respected than you realize, Morgan. People have come and gone playing the pirate game and you know why they were ridiculed and laughed at while you are given such high praise and recognition? It's because the man underneath the mask is genuine. People can get behind you because you're real. You're not some goofy idiot with a gimmick, you're a bad motherfucker who owns what he is, makes no apologies, and stands by his word.
She then flicks her finger gently on the TV Title.
Rebel: You've also made this title mean something again. There is nothing any of us can do to tarnish what you are because you are better than the some of your parts. You inspire others man and have become a symbol of hope. How the hell can I compete with that?
She then added.
Rebel: No matter what happens tonight, you're still Captain Morgan Darkwater, one of the most respected men in the locker room, and one of the most feared men on the open seas.
He regards her silently for several seconds, during which we can faintly hear the cheers and chants from ring-side. Then Morgan cracks a slight smile, though his gaze remains slightly rueful.
Morgan: Thank ye kindly, Mel, ye know jus' what t' say t' bring a man outta his melancholy... an' later t'night, that tiresome toad Carner is gonna get yet another reminder that I should not only be feared on th' seas, but in that very ring, too! Ye can best believe th' maelstrom of wrath an' thunder kickin' up inside me is jus' beggin' fer that Main Event t' kick off right now jus' so I can stomp those smarmy teeth o' his so far down his throat he'll have t' eat through his ass!
The Captain switches the title's shoulders as his gaze drifts back to the PPV poster with a wry grin.
Morgan: T' look at that thing, ye'd think there be no issues wit' you an' I being champions - that management were p'raps e'en proud t' have us represent their brand. But we both know that ain't so, lass... Price, more than most, has tried again an' again to overthrow, upstage an' ruin us - an' what has he got t' show fer it? We still be standin', whilst he's cowerin' in fear that Presidente Mac will finally bring th' hammer down! Fer that very reason, believe me when I say ye be an inspiration an' a hero in ye own right, Mel!
She nods her head a bit.
Rebel: Thanks. I'm not so sure about the Hero part, but Vickie Puss I can agree on 100%. All he has is executive power. Without that, he's just an ass waiting to be kicked. Hey maybe you, me, and Molly can hang out after the show. I'm not a drinker, but you and Molly would need a designated driver regardless.
He returns her smile, but it quickly fades as he shifts his focus to the International Title over her shoulder.
Morgan: Aye, I'd like that... but maybe we shouldnae make any plans til after our important match. 'Cause if ye know me as well as ye say, then ye know me stance when it comes t' facin' anyone in th' ring, friend or foe... in that squared-circle, we be competin' fer both titles, an' though ye have no interest or desire t' take this TV title from me, I can be honest an' say I can't make th' same guarantee. It's all very well fer me t' keep this title - an' ye can bet yer ass I'll be damned if I let Neo anywhere near keepin' it - I ain't a man t' rest on his laurels, Mel... I always be aiming e'er higher; it's what keeps me alive, keeps me driven. An' if that means comin' after your International title after takin' more than me pound a flesh from Carner's sorry hide, then that's what I gotta do. I'm sure ye understand, as a proud fightin' champion ye'self.
Mel shrugs her shoulders and shifts the belt on her shoulder a bit.
Rebel: The honesty is appreciated, but I know how this works. I've faced friends in the ring before and no matter what, I'll take 'em out afterwards either to ease the pain of loss or to help my poor bruised ego recover.
She chuckles.
Rebel: Offer stands, regardless. The only guarantee I want to make with our match tonight is that one, if not both of us are going to do everything in our power to try and make sure that Neo does not go home with either of our titles. I think it'd smart less if you were holding this instead of him after all.
Melinda pats her belt gently. The Captain chuckles softly as he strokes his beard.
Morgan: Then we are agreed, an' woe betide Neo James Carner later tonight...!
They raise their respective belts, hold them aloft and clink them together before heading off camera as everything fades to black.
SINGLES MATCH
WINNER FACES TELEVISION CHAMPION AT SEASON FINALE FATAL FOUR-WAY
WINNER FACES TELEVISION CHAMPION AT SEASON FINALE FATAL FOUR-WAY
EMMA LOUISE
VS JACKSON KNOX
Aiello: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. We just witnessed a stellar debut by Hayden Cambric.
Bennett: He may have been stellar, but there is nothing more spectacular than Keith Williams' Epic ‘Stache.
Carter: That was a great match. This next match will be interesting to watch. They have already faced off once, when Knox managed to defeat Emma Louise the first time around. Emma will be looking to even the score tonight.
Jessica Stroup: Introducing first…. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan…weighing in at 205 pounds….JAAAACKSSSOOOONNN KNNOOOOXXXX!
’Bring Your Whole Crew’ by DMX hits and there is an echo of cheers that come from the arena. Out from the back walks Jackson Knox, wearing a big smirk on his face he walks out and starts doing his signature capriora dancing while he makes his way to the ring. When he gets inside of the ring he does a couple flips off of some of the turnbuckles and jumps onto the ropes throwing one hand in the air. He jumps down, walks over to the turnbuckle, turns and leans back into it relaxing, waiting for the match to begin.
Aiello: Knox coming off a big win against ReVnants member, Keith Williams last week.
Bennett: He got lucky. He only beat Williams because he messed up that sweet ‘stache and it through Williams off his game.
Carter: Where do you come up with this shit?
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent….hailing from London, England…weighing in at several pounds of girly goodness….EMMMMMAAAAA LOUUUUIIISSSSSSE!
"Neo Geo' plays and Emma dances through the curtain. She waves to the crowd and then walks, half dancing to the ring, waving to the crowd as she goes before slipping feet first through the ropes like an envelope before laying suggestively over the top rope.
Aiello: Emma certainly has the advantage in this match, heading into it with the knowledge Knox will limit his offense in the match tonight.
Carter: Hmmmm…. I wonder why.
Bennett: Rumor has it, after this match, she may file a Restraining Order against Knox.
Carter: Seriously, were you drinking before the show?
DING DING DING
Knox and Emma circle the ring a few times. They approach each other, Knox goes to lock up, but Emma has a different idea, she bends over, avoiding the grapple, and connects with a Back Heel Kick. This staggers Knox. Emma follows up with a Thrust Kick to the gut of Knox, doubling Knox over. Emma is quickly on him, sets him up for a DDT, but Knox counters by spinning out and putting Emma into an Wristlock. He pulls down hard on the arm of Emma, forcing her to a knee.
Emma gets back to her feet, does a quick double jump, giving her enough momentum to do a flip, and reverse into a Wristlock on Knox. Not to be outdone, Knox does flip of his own, but Emma releases the hold before Knox can reverse it. As Knox turns to Emma, he is met with another Thrust Kick to the gut, followed by a Snap Suplex. Emma bends her knees, leaps, and connects with a Standing Moonsault. She goes for the cover…the ref counts…

.kickout by Knox.
Emma is quick to get back to her feet, Knox is not far behind. As he gets to his feet, he winks at Emma. Emma responds with a Slap to the face. Knox says something the cameras can’t pick up, and Emma goes to slap him again, but this was Knox’s intention as he catches her arm, easily transitioning into a Standing Armbar. But they are too close to the ropes, allowing Emma to grab the ropes. Knox immediately releases the hold.
Aiello: Some great technical wrestling to start this match
Bennett:Great? I think you mean boring.
Carter: Knox better hope this continues to be a technical match or his chances of victory will slim drastically.
Emma tries to catch Knox with a Side Kick, but Knox catches the foot of Emma. Emma wraps her arm around the rope, not break the hold, but uses the rope to flip upwards, thus connecting with a kick to the jaw of Knox. Knox stumbles back a step. Emma quickly tries to connect with the Twist of Hate but Knox pushes her into the ropes, Emma bounces off, Knox slides behind Emma and puts her in a Sleeper Hold, walking forward to the center of the ring.
Carter: Emma looks to be in trouble here.
Bennett: Fitting move.
Carter: How about you just stop talking the rest of this match if you are just going to be a hater Steve?
The ref checks on Emma, refusing to give up. Knox tightens his grip as Emma desperately tries to pull Knox’s arm from her neck, but to no avail. As Knox feels Emma’s grip loosen, he decides he should try to transition into the Stars and Stripes to end this match. But as he lets go, Emma drops to the mat, whether on purpose to avoid the hold, or of lack of oxygen is indeterminable.
Knox does not look discouraged as he goes to grab the right leg of Emma, but Emma catches him offguard, and avoids the move by kicking the arm of Knox with her left leg. Emma handsprings to her feet. Then connects with a few knees to the gut of Knox, doubling over Knox, giving Emma the chance to lock in the HLA. After a few seconds of struggling, Knox is noticeably struggling to find a way out of the move.
Bennett: Well this is over. How can Knox get out of this if he won’t allow himself to strike Emma?
The ref checks on Knox, but Knox waves him off. A few seconds later, Knox figures a way out, as he uses his strength advantage to push her hard back-first into the corner, causing Emma to release the hold. Emma quickly tries to counter with a Sunset Flip pin, but Knox blocks it, by holding onto the ropes, causing Emma to hit the mat. Instead of going to a pin or move, he leans over, about to ask if she is alright, but Emma catches him in a RollUp…the ref counts…

Jessica Stroup: HERE IS YOUR WINNER….EMMMMAAAA LOUUUUIIIISSSSSSE!
Aiello: Great win by Emma Louise tonight. She took advantage of Knox limiting his offense as we said could happen.
Carter: Emma has been trying to work her way back into the title picture, this wins puts her back in the mix for the Television Title.
Aiello: Well we shift gears now folks. We just witnessed a technical battle between two quick competitors. Coming up is a battle of the big men when Grizzly Duggan travels from Rampage looking to not only defeat but destroy Nostalgia.
Bennett: Even though I fucking hate Rampage .. I hope he does. Nostalgia has lost all his class.
As we come back from commercial break the cameras pan the crowd here at the Pepsi Center who are hyped and very much into the show. Several signs are captured among the crowd. Some of them read:
REBEL RHODES IS THE GREATEST!
MARRY ME EMMA LOUISE!
THERE ARE MONSTERS AND THERE ARE MEN. - GRIZZLY DUGGAN #1
MAC ATTACK!
HI MOM!
I CAME TO BRAWL TO SEE JOHN BLADE!
The return intro cameras finish their panning and we settle back upon the announce team as this action packed, high octane episode of Monday Night Brawl continues. The broadcast team takes control as we're back live on air.
Aiello: Welcome back folks and what a night it has been as we fast approach the season finale of Brawl! There's plenty more action lined up ahead and we're right here to call the action.
Carter: The semi finals of the tournament of power and a Championship scramble for both the International AND Television Championships await us tonight and boy has it been a hell of a night!
Bennett: You just keep your eyes peeled right here if you're looking for the best entertainment that television has to offer. If you're not ... well you're an idiot.
Carter: Steve! Come on now. What are you try--
Suddenly the lights in the arena go pitch black. Camera flashes and those who were quick enough to turn the lights to their cell phones on are the only visable light among the entire Pepsi Center.
Aiello: I don't know what's going on here folks. We may have just lost power.
Static begins to fill the video wall and it flashes on and off almost like a strobe light. As if the feed wasn't fully being broadcast. The commentary team is stifled on what to think of the interruption and obviously were not expecting it.
The crowd begins to bustle with confusion as this enigmatic sequence begins to disrupt the show.
Carter: What the hell is going on here?
Finally after several moments of darkness, a spotlight centers on the stage. The words THE ONLY ONE are displayed across the video wall in place of the static. Some of the more diehard wrestling fans among the crowd begin to cheer, not because they were necessarily fans of the person about to walk onto that stage, but simply because of the fact that this person was here in the EWC.
Bennett: OH.MY.GOD! YES!!!
Carter: What? WHAT?
Aiello: I do believe we are about to be greeted by one of the most wicked and violent superstars in wrestling history.
The spotlight moves toward the curtain as the silhouette of a woman is clearly present behind it. Some fans look on curiously, having no clue what to expect from this. But again, the most hardcore "in-the-know" of fans start getting ramped up, knowing what was awaiting them at any moment.
And finally, "The Only One" by Evanescence begins to play throughout the arena. A portion of the crowd ERUPTS ... again not out of fandom, or personal approval ... but simply for the idea that this particular superstar was finally here at Brawl.
Carter: People, if you are watching right now, start recording. Set those DVRs, remember this night because we are witnessing the greatest debut in wrestling history! This is once in a lifetime and I have goosebumps! This might be the single greatest moment in Brawl history!
Bennett Are you kidding me? We haven't even seen who the hell is behind that curtain yet! I don't know what the hell is going on, but I assure you, Max has lost his mind.
The curtain slowly rises to reveal a stunning redhead who stand there poised, and with a devilish smirk upon her face. Her emerald green eyes sparkle with a mischievous intent as she scans the crowd. She is dressed in a black demin jacket with a black tank beneath that barely meets the brim of her black demin jeans. Dangling from her neck is a very noticeable, and brightly sparkling pentacle made of sterling silver as well as the chain that adorns it. Her long, flowing red locks fall flawlessly and seemingly effortlessly around her shoulders as she takes a step forward onto the stage with the clanking of her heeled, black leather boots.
Jessica Stroup who was made aware of the acquisition by President Mac was quick to her feet to do her job. This was despite her not knowing exactly WHEN said acquisition was going to be showing up.
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen ... please welcome for the FIRST TIME EVER on Monday Night Brawl ... The Mistress of Mischief SARAH TWILIGHT!!!
Sarah takes her time as "The Only One" continues to play. She arrogantly swaggers towards the ring, taking her time to revel in her own glory among mostly ENRAGED fans before she reaches the ringsteps and steps inside. The hardcore fans still continue to cheer at her arrival to the EWC, although she completely ignores their chants and approvals. Pyros now shoot off from the ring posts and Sarah takes to each turnbuckle, staring coldly and without emotion into the sea of 'sheep' as the majority of the crowd's boos become even LOUDER.
Bennett: We are witnessing history right here and now! Sarah Twilight is signed to Brawl and I am the happiest person alive right now. This is GREAT!
Carter: I'd hold your horses. We haven't seen anything from her yet. Quite frankly, I have no idea what to expect here.
Bennett: Dominance, destruction ... that is what you can expect! We may have just signed one of the greatest wrestlers in HISTORY and you're worrying about what we've seen? Listen to these idiots, Max. LISTEN TO THEM! They might be stupid, but they know what it means for Sarah Twilight to walk out here. The landscape has changed forever I promise you that!
Carter: That has yet to be seen, Steve. I'm sorry but I want to see results, not hype.
Aiello: From the standpoint at looking at this purely based on statistics. We have a multiple time world champion standing in the ring. Her resumè is very impressive with multiple accomplishments across the board. It's very easy to see why President Mac, as well as Victor Price would sign her to Brawl. Statistically speaking, Steve knows what he is talking about.
Carter: As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words.
Sarah remains in the ring, smirk remaining across her face as Ace Heart makes his way from the back. The backstage correspondent makes his way into the ring, garnering a shifty eye from Sarah. The interviewer bows out to give Sarah some space and offer respect to the superstar. He clears his throat as he spaces himself from The Mistress of Mischief and offers up a friendly introduction the the live crowd, as well as those watching at home.
Ace Heart: I want to be the first to welcome you, Sarah Twilight ... to MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL!
Huge pop from the crowd. Sarah slightly tilts her head to the side and her lips curl up even further to establish an already disrespectful smirk into almost a simpering sneer.
Ace Heart: We're glad to have you, Sarah. And ... and everyone wants to know. Looking out among this crowd everyone has to know ...
Sarah places her arms in front of her as she faces Ace. She faces him, but her eyes do not meet his. Another show of disrespect as she chooses to rather look off to the side, at a dead spot of the ring. The heavily laden smirk still upon her face as if she found this entire encounter amusing. Ace stammers a bit as he tries to continue.
Ace Heart: Why is Sarah Twilight here? What brought her to the EWC and what can we expect fro--
Sarah SNATCHES the microphone from the reporter as the hardcore fans in the crowd ERUPT with cheers. They couldn't WAIT to hear from their legend.
Bennett: Now this is going to get somewhere! Mark this day on your calendar! Sarah Twilight is here on Brawl and MAN OH MAN are we in for a treat!
Carter: Let's hear what she has to say first before you lose your mind, alright?
Ace backs off and steps out of the ring as the smirk upon Sarah's face widens even further. She snickers a bit with her own amusement as the interviewer is sent scurrying from the ring simply at a glance from her and the snatching of a microphone.
The crowd is eating this up, especially the hardcore fans and she paces the ring a few times as she gazes out among them. She brings the microphone close to her lips ... the smirk still dominating her facial features. This elicits even MORE of a response from the crowd ... amazingly it is mostly positive. Simply because they wanted to hear from this newcomer ...this woman whom had drawn such a deal among other fans. They hang on the edge of their seats, waiting ...
Bennett: This is going to be GREAT!
Carter: Yeah yeah ... we'll see.
Though abruptly, Sarah's smirk becomes flat and her demeanor shows that of disdain and disgust as she looks out among the crowd. They bustle and wonder what had just happened but before they could even register the change upon her face, Sarah drops the mic and exits the ring. She gives Denver .... absolutely nothing.
Carter: What the HELL is this?
Bennett: I think the people of Denver, Colorado weren't worthy of her time.
Sarah makes her way up the ramp toward the back as "The Only One" by Evanescence plays once more. The entirety of the crowd booing her to hell, including those who initially were happy to see her at Brawl. The look upon her face says it all. She doesn't care.
Aiello: Very controversial debut here tonight. We have yet to hear from Sarah Twilight, but she's certainly made her presence felt here. These fans are NOT happy.
Carter: She's made nothing felt ... she hasn't said a word and she hasn't done anything here to date. I don't know what this hype is even about.
Bennett: Sarah walks to the beat of her own drum. She doesn't owe you, or these people a damn thing!
Carter: I disagree. She ne--
Aiello: ENOUGH! We have a show to call and we have more going on. We're going to take a break and when we come back, the action continues!
SINGLES MATCH
GRIZZLY DUGGAN
VS NOSTALGIA
Aiello: Welcome back to Monday Night Brawl folks. We continue to bring you the best action in professional wrestling today and we're not about to slow down. Coming up next, I hope the ring is reinforced because we have two bohemoths set to square off as Nostalgia takes on Grizzly Duggan!
Bennett: The irony here is that Nostalgia finds himself at a pretty big size disadvantage, giving up nearly a hundred pounds to his opponent, Grizzly Duggan. I'm sure Nostalgia isn't used to being the underdog in a big man contest, but he'd better get used to it because tonight he steps into the ring with a monster!
Carter: You aren't going to see a lot of wrestling in this one. This is going to be a fight ... a flat out massacre and I don't envy Paul Turner who is in charge of keeping things in line between these two gargantuans!
Aiello: We now head you down to the ring where we're ready to get under way!
Born of the Serpent’s Eye starts playing.
Jessica Stroup: The following contest is scheduled for one fall ... Making his way to the ring ... from Columbia, South Carolina weighing in at three hundred eighty five pounds .... he is The Monster Among Men .... GRIZZLY DUGGAN!
At the 55 second mark of the song Grizzly walks out. He stare at the crowd and makes his way towards the ring. Once at the ring he grabs the top rope, pulls himself up and steps over the rope and walks to the center of the ring. He raises both of his hands as three burst of pyro ignite from each corner in a synchronized fashion.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent ...
The lights go out at a local EWC House Show. A red spotlight shifts around the arena as the beat to Childish Gambino’s“Redbone” plays throughout the arena.
“DAYLIGHT”
The red spotlight gets to the ramp entrance to find Nostalgia and Jenny coming through the curtain. Nostalgia gives Jenny a ballroom dancing spin onto the ramp. Nostalgia is moving his arms, hands, and fingers back and forth like a music composer. Jenny is standing in place doing some odd half dance. Doing “Cat Hands,” to Nostalgia, while seductively gyrating her hips. Nostalgia is bopping his head and shoulders slowly to match the beat.
Jessica Stroup: Hailing from Pine Barrens, NJ…weighing in at 293 pounds….The Prophet of Pain….NOSTALGIAAAA!
“MADE ME PUT AWAY MY PRIIIDDEEE!”
On hearing his name, Nostalgia takes a bow. Then does a kind of stutter 2- step over to Jenny. Nostalgia grabs the arm of Jenny and again spins her down the ramp. Jenny gives a few revolutions then dramatically drops to her knees.
“STAY WOKE!”
Nostalgia runs, jumps, and dives over Jenny. He pops up and throws out his arms in celebration. Jenny runs up and hops on his back. While giving Jenny a piggyback ride, they run around the ring High-Fiving and Fist-Bumping Fans.
“NOW STAY WOKE”
Nostalgia jumps on the apron, as he does, Jenny slides off his back, and lands on her feet on the outside. Nostalgia does the 2-finger salute to Jenny, who courtesies back. Nostalgia grabs the top rope and hops over, into the ring.
“DON”T YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES!”
Nostalgia circles the ring with his arms spread wide, palms up, signaling for the fans to make some noise. Nostalgia hops on the middle turnbuckle closest to Jenny and throws up the “X.” with his arms as the beat fades away.
Bennett: Just look at Duggan ... this monster is ready for destruction. The way he's eyeing up Nostalgia, things are going to ..WHOA!!! Fucking Rampage must be putting something crazy in the water these days
Grizzly doesn't wait for the bell. He comes barreling out of his corner at Nostalgia, WAFFLING him with a running shoulder tackle ... which actually takes Nostalgia off his feet! Grizzly starts putting heavy, devastating boots to Nostalgia as referee Paul Turner tries to step in and maintain order as the match hadn't officially begun yet.
Carter: Grizzly Duggan not waiting at all for this match to get going. He is bent on making a statement at Nostaglia's expense. And right now that statement is loud and clear! He continues to stomp away on the ... well, smaller big man!
Bennett: The message is that there's only one monster in EWC ... and his name is Grizzly Duggan!
Aiello: Turner with the tall task of separating Duggan from Nostaglia. Try and get this match officially under way.
Finally Turner is able to get Duggan backed away from Nostalgia and to his corner. Turner checks on Nostalgia to make sure the match can take place and a very angered Nostalgia nods his head as he slowly gets back to his feet, never taking his eyes off of Duggan. Once Nostalgia is back in his own corner ... Turner calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Duggan again wastes no time coming out of his corner at the bell. This time however, Nostalgia is more than ready to go toe to toe with the larger giant. The two meet in the center of the ring and a HUGE slugfest ensues. Duggan with a right, Nostalgia with a right. Back and forth for several moments the two men swing heavy fists at one another with neither gaining a decisive advantage. Finally, Duggan sends a knee into Nostalgia's gut to gain the upper hand.
Aiello: The slug fest was proving ineffective. Duggan buries the knee to take control.
Carter: I don't think Grizzly expected Nostaglia to match him blow for blow especially after that cheap shot before the match, so he took the easy way out.
Bennett: He did what was smart. If something isn't working, you try something else.
Nostalgia goes down to one knee after the gut strike and Duggan continues the onslaught as he lands clubbing blow after clubbing blow across Nostalgia's back, keeping him from regaining a vertical base.
Duggan keeps laying on the blows as he finally manages to beat Nostalgia all the way down to the canvas. Once more, as he did before the match ... he starts laying the heavy boots into The Prophet of Pain. Once he is firmly in control, he halts his beatdown long enough to turn toward the crowd to offer a display of dominance and roars loudly as he tenses his chest and arms. The crowd responds with a chorus of boos.
Carter: Grizzly Duggan not quite so popular here on Brawl. This crowd voicing their disdain for his tactics.
Bennett: These idiots just don't understand greatness when they see it. Duggan could have ended this match right at the bell, but instead he's doing the fans a service by taking his time.
Carter: Right. Next you're going to tell me you believe in aliens too?
Bennett: Hey --
Aiello: Fact of the matter is, Grizzly Duggan has control of this match right now. Nostaglia yet to muster up any meaningful offense.
Nostalgia starts to his feet, and Duggan's attention is back on him as he waits, seething like a ravenous animal just waiting to strike. As Nostaglia regains a vertical base, Duggan grabs hold of him and PLANTS him with a spinebuster. The entire rings shakes on impact. Once again, Duggan takes this time to roar at the crowd in dominance.
Again the crowd vocalize their disdain for the monster. Duggan huffs and snarls as he turns back to Nostalgia who is dazed from the onslaught, trying to work his way back to his feet. Duggan grabs hold of him and hauls him up to his feet to deliver ANOTHER spinebuster!!
Bennett: Grizzly Duggan is just manhandling Nostalgia at will. And it's not as if Nostalgia is a small man. He equals the monster in height and is a giant in his own right. But Duggan is just too much of a force of nature to overcome, even for someone Nostalgia's size. This here is massacre.
Carter: Oh come on! He jumped Nostalgia before the match even started and it's the only reason he has the edge. For a monster, he sure took the coward's way out. I think he was afraid of what would happen when put up against someone nearly his own size.
Aiello: Whether you like his methods or not, the story right now is indeed that Duggan is completely owning this contest. Nostalgia needs to gain some separation and find his footing if he has any chance of surviving this beast of a man.
Duggan slowly circles Nostalgia, chuckling heartily as he looks down at his foe. He reaches down and hauls Nostalgia up once again, but this time is shoved back with FORCE! Duggan can't even seem to believe that he was actually shoved back in that manner as his eyes widen in disbelief.
Nostalgia doesn't give him a moment to register his shock as he rushes Duggan with a clothesline, which teeters the monster. The crowd starting to get pumped up as they are firmly behind Nostalgia. He backs himself into the ropes and runs at Duggan with another clothesline which further teeters him. He runs the reverse set behind Duggan and NAILS another clothesline to the back of his head and neck which causes the monster to stumble forward and nearly fall to the canvas.
Nostalgia takes this opportunity with the monster dazed on his feet and moves back in from of him to nail a spinebuster of his own! The ring again quakes upon impact and the crowd ROARS with excitement!
Bennett: WHAT?! No this can't be happening! This is impossible!
Carter: Grizzly Duggan now on the receiving end. He's finding out that he's not the only big man around here!
Duggan shakes off the cobwebs as he still appears to be in complete shock at what all just happened. He rolls to his side to start back to his feet and Nostalgia is there to help him back up and sends him for an Irish Whip to the turnbuckle ...
However Duggan reverses it and instead sends Nostalgia crashing against the corner. The monster follows up as he CHARGES Nostalgia and leaps in for a big splash ...
But Nostalgia moves out of harm's way! Duggan CRASHES into the turnbuckle with all of his momentum, his forehead SLAMMING against the top of the ringpost due to his height and the fact he was leaping into it. The sickening crack of steel against bone is heard throughout the arena as Duggan staggers back, flailing his arms about, trying to keep his balance and remain on his feet.
Bennett: No! No! No! No! No!
Carter: Duggan is out on his feet! That glossy look glazed over his eyes and he has no idea where he's at. NOW we'll find out what this monster is made of.
Bennett: This is a travesty! Call off the match, he needs medical attention. He may have a concussion!
Aiello: The ball is in Nostalgia's court now as he looks to slay the monster.
Nostalgia backs himself into the ropes, his eyes focused on the dazed, teetering monster as the crowd continues to ramp up their enthusiasm. Nostalgia with a running start and BIG BOOT that squarely connects with Duggan's face and like a giant red oak tree he falls to the mat with thunderous force!
Carter: Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Nostalgia looks out to the crowd, and they continue to roar with approval as he takes the big man by the ankles. He shifts over to make sure they are facing the center of the ring and the crowd is going apeshit by now. Nostalgia pulls Duggan's massive calves under his armpits and pulls up, looking once more side to side at the crowd. They scream and rave even more. He strains with the giant mass of weight that Grizzly Duggan is, but manages to pull him into rotation for ON THE CLOCK!!
The crowd begins to count along with each full rotation.
Crowd: One ..... Two ...... Three ..... Four ..... Five ..... Six ..... Seven ..... Eight ..... Nine ..... Ten!
Finally, he releases, sending a dizzy, dazed and walloped Duggan back to the canvas.
Aiello: He managed to swing Duggan. I can't believe it! The tide has shifted one hundred and eighty degrees and Nostalgia finds himself in firm control.
Bennett: You can't believe it? I have two hundred bucks riding on Duggan!
Carter: How many times have we been over this? You're the only one to blame when you wager on matches.
Bennett: This was surefire ... this was guaranteed cash! How does this even happen?!
The crowd continues to cheer and rant. Nostalgia measuring Duggan as he begins to wobbly get back to his feet. Nostalgia moves in but SOMEHOW Duggan gets the drop on him and scoops him up over his shoulder in position for a RUNNING POWERSLAM!
Bennett: YES! I knew it! I knew Duggan wouldn't let me down. I'm calling my bookie. I'll take that in cash TONIGHT!
Unfortunately for Bennett, Duggan didn't have his full composure and Nostalgia wraps his arms around Duggan's chest as he slides himself back off of Duggan's shoulder, again straining but managing to pull Duggan over his own shoulder!!
Carter: NO! It's reversed ... but HOW is Nostalgia able to pull up that mass ... that weight?
Bennett, who was mid-dialing his bookie on his cell phone drops the phone, along with his jaw.
Aiello: It looks like Nostalgia is going to hit a running powerslam of his own ... wait NO!
Mustering all of his raw power and strength, Nostalgia shifts Duggan into a fireman's carry position. The crowd LOSING IT with cheers at this point. Nostalgia pushes off ...
Carter: PAVLOV'S BELL! OH MY GOD!
Bennett is still actually left speechless.
Aiello: The raw power ... the strength. I have never witnessed something so amazing!
Duggan is LAID out on the canvas as Nostalgia rolls over him for the cover. Turner slides himself into position as the crowd counts along in unison with each slap of his hand to the canvas.

Jessica Stroup: Here is your winner .... The Prophet of Pain NOSTALGIA!!!!
Aiello: Starting out with a major disadvantage after being assaulted before the bell, Nostalgia weathered the storm that was Grizzly Duggan and emerged victorious with one of the most impressive displays of power I've ever witnessed. This was a clash of barbarians. In the end, Nostalgia emerges as the true giant here in EWC.
Carter: It may have seemed unlikely. And with the brutal savagery of Grizzly Duggan, you had to wonder about this one. But Nostalgia proved to be the Prophet of Pain as he delivered against perhaps his most dangerous competition yet.
Bennett: I'm out two hundred bucks ... this was a horrible match! I want a recount!
Aiello: Folks, while Steve tries to weasel his way out with his bookie, we've got to take a break. Don't change that channel we've got plenty more action up ahead ... including a Championship Scramble later tonight that is sure to be one hell of a ride! Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen, Brawl returns ... after this!

WINNER FACES TELEVISION CHAMPION AT SEASON FINALE FATAL FOUR-WAY
AJ JOHNSON
VS ANTHONY GRUNGE
Aiello: I am surprised the ring is still standing after the battle of those two Goliaths. Next up we have our second qualifying match for the Season Finale TV Title Fatal Fourway.
Carter:I have a feeling this next match will have the fans on the edge of their seats for the duration.
As the lights go out in the Arena, lyrics hit the PA system and red and black lights begins flashing. AJ then walks from the curtain and turns his back to the crowd and shakes his hips.
After flipping his hair, he turns around and begins dry humping towards the crowd and mocking the fans in attendance. He plays on the stage for a moment and then starts walking down the ramp towards the ring.
Once in the ring, AJ continues mocking the crowd as the boos are beginning to overtake the Arena. Before the ring announcer can begin talking AJ snatches the microphone and gestures for the announcer to walk away as he begins to tap the top of the microphone.
"Ladies and Gentlemen....Now making his appearance in this ring, hailing from Atlanta, Georgia and weighing in at 225 pounds....The best damn professional wrestler on this roster....AJ JOHNSON!!!!"
AJ then drops the mic and leans on the ropes in the corner of the ring as he begins smirking towards the crowd.
Aiello: AJ Johnson coming off back to back wins. One solo and One tagging with his Kill or Be Killed stablemate, Newmann.
Carter: Johnson has been killing it since his loss to Neo James Carner during that insanely awesome Lego match.
Bennett: I hate you.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent…hailing from Hollywood, California…weighing in at 210 pounds….ANTHONY GRUNGE!
Let you Down by Seether begins to blast on the PA. system. Anthony Grunge walks down to the ring along with Johnny Sinclair. Anthony Grunge then enters the ring and acknowledge the fans by pointing at them. He then sits in his corner and meditates until the bell sounds.
Aiello: Grunge is coming off a victory over John Blade last week.
Carter: Grunge is looking to earn another stab at the TV Title after suffering a tough loss to the red hot Captain Morgan Darkwater a few weeks back.
DING DING DING
Before the bell even rings, Johnson storms at Grunge. The bell rings, Grunge is about to get to his feet, but Johnson is on him, driving a knee to the face.
Carter: A cheap shot by Johnson
Bennett: Cheap?! Nothing about that man is cheap. Grunge should know better.
Johnson quickly grabs Grunge and lifts him up into the corner, and connects with a series of Forearm strikes to the face of Grunge. Grunge is dazed, giving Johnson the chance to connect with a Standing Dropkick, Grunge bounces off the corner and hits the mat. Johnson quickly hops over him, then onto the top rope. He sets himself, leaps, and connects with a Moonsault, hard onto the knees of Grunge. Johnson bounces off and grabs his sternum in pain.
Carter: Grunge got his knees up just in time, or Johnson could have very well been heading to the TV Title match.
Grunge gets to his feet, and drops right down with an Elbow Drop to the chest of Johnson. Grunge grabs Johnson and pulls him to his feet along with him. Grunge scoops Johnson, takes a few steps toward the corner and launches Johnson head first into the top turnbuckle.
Aiello: Snake Eyes! That move just turned the momentum of this match to Grunge’s favor.
Grunge grabs the arm of Johnson and drags him further from the ropes. He walks around to the legs of Johnson, grabs the legs, flips Johnson over, and locks in the Boston Crab. Johnson is flailing his arms about, desperately trying to reach the ropes. The ref asks Johnson if he gives up. Johnson promptly responds by flipping him the bird.
Carter: Well that was highly inappropriate. A simple “No” would have sufficed.
Bennett: The ref deserved it, he should know Johnson is no quitter.
Grunge feels Johnson snake-crawling towards the ropes, so he leans back, causing more torque on the back of Johnson. Johnson is in obvious pain. Johnson half rolls to one side, then the other, then back to one, side and with one final roll, he manages to get enough momentum to flip around, causing Grunge to hit the mat, thus release the hold.
Aiello: What a counter by Johnson.
Bennett: I thought he was having a seizure. Thank God. The world be so much worse without a guy as classy as Johnson.
Carter: You’re the worst.
Grunge and Johnson get to their feet. Grunge charges, he attempts a Running High Knee, but Johnson spins out of the way at the last second. As Grunge turns, Johnson leaps, wraps his legs around the head of Grunge, taking him down hard to the mat with a Hurricanrana. Johnsons hooks the legs…the ref counts…

"YOUNG RENEGADE!!"
The crowd erupt in a chorus of cheers as Hollywood Undead's "Renegade begins to play. Amis Shelton emerges from behind the curtain with his arms outstretched as he embraces the reception from the crowd. Amis scouts the entire arena with a smile. Nodding his head, he proceeds down the ramp
Amis climbs onto the apron and hops over the top rope and climbs a turnbuckle, aggressively outstretching his arms which generates more cheers from the fans. Amis looks out to the crowd once more before climbing off the turnbuckle and warming up on the spot.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent, from Beverly Hills, CA… Weighing in at 245 pounds… “THE KING OF EXTREME”…ROB GARCIA!!!
The arena goes dark except for the fans cell phones... 🎵I wear a mean dark pair of shades.. 🎵 plays threw out the arena and the crowd errupt in "boo's!" The music hits and the lights come on! Rob Garcia is standing at the top of the stage with his back to the audience, legs spread apart and his arms pointing out to his sides, fists clenched. His hair is in a supposed to be in a man bun, but his hair is to short, so it looks like a pit bulls tail when its been snippet. Rob spins around to face the audience and he has over sized gucci glasses on and a goofy grin on his face. He starts to walk down toward the ring, stopping and pointing to a fan and mock them and talk some smack. When fans try to high five him, Rob pulls back his hands sycing them out or completely dodging their hands. He continues down the asile way, smiling walking with proudly, slightly bobbing his head side to side. He gets to the ring, jogs up the steps, looks around and yells "Ya! Bay-baaaaay!" Walks along the ring apron, enters the ring between the middle rope walks around in a circle with his index fingers pointing at himself, then looks towards the hard camera takes off his shades points at the camera and does the HBK pose as fire works goes off.
Aiello: These two men know what this match means for both of them…
Each man stands unintimidated staring eachother down from opposite sides of the ring. Neither moves a muscle as the bell rings.
DING DING DING
The crowd starts to build, a roar building inside the arena as the two men take this match at a slow start. Both men start to slowly make their way to the center of the ring, Amis begins spouting off at Rob who just lets Shelton roll. They stand in center ring, Amis talking trash to Rob, who finally has enough and gives Amis a shove! Amis takes a few steps back and then returns with a shove of his own. Suddenly Rob’s temper gets the best of him, and he swings and misses! Amis grabs him from behind and delivers a german suplex and holds on for the pin!

Kickout!!!
Carter: Not so fast, but Rob is going to have to keep those emotions in check.
Aiello: It’s a pretty well known fact that Rob’s anger can get the best of him at times.
Bennett: If by that you mean he throws tantrums like a five year old… then… yeah I’ll agree with that.
Rob slaps his hand down on the mat, looking up at Amis who is waving for Rob to bring it on. You can see the anger growing on the face of Garcia as the two circle around and tie up! Quickly Amis throws Rob with an arm drag take down! Rob jumps back up, and Amis again throws him! Rob quickly rolls out of the ring, but Amis is ready for it and flies through the ropes with a suicide dive! Rob crashes into the guard rail and Amis throws Rob down, raising his hands up gloating as the crowd erupts!
“AMIS SHELTON!!!” … “AMIS SHELTON!!!”… “AMIS SHELTON!!!”
Amis makes his way back over to Rob, who stops things in it’s tracks with a low blow!
Aiello: OH! That will stop anyone’s momentum.
Bennett: Wouldn’t stop me…
Carter: Thank you for that, excellent… insight there—
Bennett: SHUT YOUR FUCKIN FACE MAXIPAD!
Rob grabs Amis and smashes him face first into the guard rail, right in front of a beautiful woman at ringside. He drops Amis, and turns his attention to the lovely lady.
Carter: We all know that Rob loves the ladies… but ROB! Think about what is on the line in this match!
Bennett: Ya see Max? That is why you are still a virgin.
Rob must have said something offensive to the woman because she randomly slaps him across the face! Security rushes the ringside area, grabbing the woman—
Aiello: Yeah, fans if you want those front row seats ya gotta keep your hands off the wrestlers… Or you will be watching from outside.
But as Rob is distracted by what’s happening with the woman at ringside he turns around right into a steel chair shot to the head from Amis Shelton!!! To a hot pop from the crowd!
“YEEEAAAAHHHH!!!”
Amis smiles as he grabs Garcia and rolls him in the ring. With his ears still ringing, Garcia manages to get to his feet. Amis hits the ropes and bounces off leaping up looking for a frankenstiener, but Garcia sees it coming and turns it into a pop up powerbomb!

Amis grabs his head as he falls to the ground, Garcia hits the ropes and upon his return is met with a dropkick to the face by Amis!!! Bennett: I don’t think that’s all he’s paying attention to…
Garcia has since rolled out of the ring, and is arguing with a fan. He rips the fan’s beer out of his hand and takes a big drink. Amis comes running looking to fly through the ropes… and Rob spits the beer in the face of Amis Shelton!!! Amis is stopped in his tracks, as he stumbles back grabbing at his eyes. Rob rolls in the ring, taking a long drink from the beer, and when Amis turns around Rob smashes the beer bottle over Shelton’s head! Shelton looks like he is out cold! But Rob doesn’t make the cover!?!
Aiello: What the hell is he doing???
Carter: This is anything goes! That’s perfectly legal! He could become the number one contender to the TV title if he just covers Amis Shelton right now!!!
With Amis looking to be out cold, Rob just smiles and brushes his feet toward Amis. He signals to the sky, and slaps the top turnbuckle and heads to the top!
Aiello: I think we all know what he is looking for here…
Bennett: Bitch please…
Carter: Thank you Steve…
Rob leaps off the top rope looking for his top rope legdrop but Amis rolls out of the way at the last minute!!! Rob gets up to his feet grabbing at his hamstring after missing from the top rope, he turns around right into Amis who nails and locks in THE CLUTCH OF AMIS!!!
“YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!”
Aiello: Out of nowhere!!! Amis might have this one!

Aiello: Um…
It takes a moment but the ref notices and waves it off! He tells Shelton he was pinned! Shelton looks shocked! He argues with the ref, saying that he KNOWS that Garcia tapped out! The ref shakes his head no, and again reinforces that he was pinned! With his hands on his hips Amis shakes his head thinking he just got robbed.
Bennett: Amis thinks he got Robbed…
Carter: No pun intended.
Bennett: No-No… it was definitely intended.
Totally at a loss Amis shakes his head, he turns around and Rob has bounced off the ropes and he nails Amis with LIGHTS OUT FOR HARMABEL!!! He lays out Amis, standing up and spitting down him!
“BOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
The ref holds Garcia back from attacking the fallen Amis Shelton. Garcia raises his arms in victory and hops over the top rope. He begins his walk backstage when he stops and is pulled back by the gaze of yet ANOTHER beautiful woman.
Carter: Well at least the match is over this time. Folks we will be back with our Main Event right after this
He kisses the woman’s hand and gives her a wink as we go backstage.

Aiello: Here we are friends .. the Monday Night Brawl Main Event .. and what a Main Event it is! Brought to you by .. Hot Pockets 5 value pack. Bennett: What the fuck? Was that? You don't even have anything in your hands .. you are literally mimicking eating .. do you realize this is tv and not radio? Am I being fucking PunkD? Are you on crack? What in the actual fuck Joe? Anyways .. Morgan and Neo at it again, this time with a twist known as The Rebel
Carter: Both the Television and International Championships are on the line tonight .. and here is Jessica Stroup with the rules of tonight's contest
Stroup: THE FOLLOWING MATCH IS A THIRTY MINUTE CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL AND TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!! THE MATCH DOES NOT END WITH A SINGLE PINFALL. WHEN THE TIME LIMIT HAS BEEN REACHED, WHOEVER HAS THE FINAL PIN ON A CHAMPION WILL BE THAT OFFICIAL CHAMPION! THE TITLE CHANGES DURING THE MATCH DO NOT COUNT IN THE TITLE HISTORIES .. ONLY THE FINAL CHAMPIONS COME THE FINAL BELL. THERE WILL BE NO INTERFERENCE IN THIS MATCH! ONLY LICENSED EWC OFFICIALS WILL BE ALLOWED AT RINGSIDE! INTRODUCING FIRST....
Carter: Wow .. that was long winded
Bennett: And why in the holy fuck did she scream that entire thing? My ears are fucking bleeding over here
"Fightin' Words" By Casino Madrid begins to play melodically over the loud speakers as the of guitars ascend to the boiling point and the song engages with a fierce snare and double bass drums.
Neo begins to make a triumphant strut down to the ring, his chin held high as his hands lay at his side moving with his stride. He looks down all around at the people at the side of the ramps, he keeps his bearded chin up as he glides effortlessly forward in a striding saunter.
Neo makes it to the ringside area as he circles around the ring, jumping up effortlessly onto the apron and climbs into the ring. He walks over to the ropes on the side of the stage as he grabs the top rope with his hands and then yanks down on it, flexing all of his muscles before releasing it, a giant white and red pyro exploding out the top of the nearby turnbuckle like a mortar.
Stroup: FROM HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA!!!
Neo roars into the air as he circles the ring, peering out into the crowd as he gives his bare chest a hardy slap. He has a grin on his face, he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd.
Stroup: STANDING AT 6' 3" AND WEIGHING IN AT 258 lbs....
Neo rushes the ropes one more time and he yanks them with a mighty rip and the corner mortar pyro goes off again as the song keeps blaring over the PA. Neo rotates his neck as he steps to the nearest corner and leans against it cracking his knuckles and awaiting the match to begin.
Stroup: NNNNNEEEEEEOOOOOOOOO JAMES CCCCCAAAARRRRRNNNNNEEEEERRRRRR!!!
Stroup: OUR NEXT COMPETITOR....
The lights in the arena cut out as first notes of Captain Morgan's entrance theme, "The Sunk'n Norwegian", kick in and the screens around entrance fade in to the image of a perpetually burning skull-n-crossbones flag rippling in the wind.
A spotlight rises as Morgan saunters confidently out on the stage, holding an old-fashioned iron grenade in one hand, the fuse lit and sparkling. He laughs maniacally and throws it at his feet, where it explodes with a boom of pyros and smoke.
Stroup: FROM THE VIRIGIN ISLANDS BY WAY OF THE WINDS OF FORTUNE....
When the smoke clears he is holding the EWC TV Title aloft with a wild gleam in his eye. With his other hand he points down the ramp to his opponent in the ring and roars "One More Match!!" Draping the belt over his shoulder, he laughs again and starts marching purposefully down the ramp. acknowledging several fans with low-fives and points into the crowd.
Stroup: STANDING AT 6' 5" AND WEIGHING IN AT 259 lbs....
He enters the ring through the over the top ropes, climbs the nearest turnbuckle and unsheathes his cutlass, holding it and the belt aloft with a raucous battle-cry. Stepping down, he looks from his opponent, to the ref, and finally to the belt in his hands as he passes it to the ref whilst giving Neo James Carner a mischievous smile with a shake of his head as if to say "Not today, lad."
Stroup: THE EWC TELEVISION CHAMPION.... CAPTAIN MMMMMMOOOORRRRRGGGGGAAAAAAN DARKWWWWWWAAAAAATTTTTEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!
NJC starts towards Morgan, the captain moving towards him with a defiant look in his eye and a dangerous smile on his thick, bearded face, the EWC TV Title held up at his side! Neo glares at him, "I KNEW YOU WERE LYING ABOUT LOSING THAT BELT!!! ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR TRICKS YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
Neo shoves Morgan hard and the Captain moves back a step. If not for a referee moving between them, the Captain's instantly reared back fist would have wound up in Carner's face!
Stroup: AND FINALLY....
#I'M ON THE TRAIN THAT'S PULLING THE SICK AND TWISTED...
#MAKING THE MOST OF THE RIDE BEFORE WE GET ARRESTED!!!
#WE'RE ALL WASTED AND WE'RE NOT GOING HOME TONIGHT!!!
#COVERED IN BLACK WE LACK THE SOCIAL GRACES!!!
#JUST LIKE ANIMAL'S WE CRAWL OUT OF OUR CAGES!
#THEY CAN'T TAME US!!
#SO IF YOU'RE ONE OF US GET ON THA' BUS!!!
She makes her way to the ring with a confident stride, slapping fives with a few outstretched hands as she does so. It doesn't take her long to reach ringside. She climbs the steps, wipes her feet on the apron, and slips through the ropes. She hoists the belt high over her head to the crowd, nodding her head with a rather big smile on her face.
#IF YOU'RE A FREAK LIKE ME!!!
#WWWAAAVVVEEE YOUR FLAG!!!
#IF YOU'RE A FREAK LIKE ME!!!
#GET OFF YOUR ASS!!!
#IT'S OOOOUURRRR TTTTIIIIMMMMEEE NNNNOWW!
#TO LET IT ALL HHHAAANNNNGGGG OOOOUUUTTT!!!
The crowd headbangs along with the Rebel as her theme plays over the P/A. Her hands clap with the beat along with the fans, a smile playing across those ruby red lips.
Stroup: FROM CORTEZ, COLORADO, STANDING AT 5' 11" AND WEIGHING IN AT 152 lbs...
THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION!!
RRRRRREEEEBBBBBEEEEEELLLLL RRRRRRHHHHHHOOOOODDDDDDEEEESSSSS!!!!
The crowd pops as Melinda runs up to the top of the nearest corner and raises her arm with a three fingered salute to the fans with one hand, the gleaming Championship belt held up by the other. The Rebel hops down and turns to see her two competitors. Taking in a deep breath through her nostrils, she stares at both Morgan and Carner, intensity burning in her gaze as she raises the title up.
Aiello: It's very clear, Neo is a hated man in this building tonight
Bennett: Rhodes and Darkwater both have very loud and proud fan bases here tonight
Carter: This building is ROCKING!
Carner takes in a breath and steps back a bit, as does Captain Morgan. The referee takes Morgan's title in hand, followed by Melinda's and then hoists the belts high over his head before passing them off to the attendant, who then drops the belts off at the time keeper's table.
The Referee reminds the three of the rules of engagement and then asks each competitor if they are ready. With nods from each one, he motions for the bell!
DING DING DING
[00:00:01]
Morgan looks on at Neo pissed for the events earlier in the night .. he grins as he is about to charge towards Neo but Neo wastes no time and bolts across the ring at The Rebel! Melinda ducks with a sidestep to avoid a hard chop and delivers a chest slap of her own followed by a few stiff left hands and a right cross that sends Neo back a step. NJC is quick to return the favor with a hard right of his own that sends Melinda staggering back into the ropes!
Neo hears Morgan charging full steam at him and narrowly side steps a running bit boot while catching him in a rear three quarter lock over the shoulder and dropping Morgan with a swift neckbreaker!
Aiello: Ouch .. that's gonna leave a mark
Rebel shoots off the ropes with a springboard headscissor whip, only Neo catches her legs and sets himself, dipping down only to lift her back up in a Powerbomb hold! The Rebel thinks fast, clocking him a few times atop his head, but it's not enough as he slings her to the canvas with a hard powerbomb! Melinda rolls onto her side on impact, clutching at her back with a grimace of pain.
Aiello: Neo with a powerful move there
Bennett: Rebel will be feeling that in the morning
Neo moves to inflict further damage, only to be caught by his hair by Morgan and pulled into a Full Nelson Hold. Before Neo can even react, he's yanked off his feet and flung with a resounding and heavy thud on the canvas!
Melinda gets to her feet and immediately her and the Captain lock gazes. Morgan nods to her and The Rebel nods right back. The Captain then rushes at her and goes for a clothesline, but Melinda ducks and checks him with a couple rib shots before whipping herself up on his back and locking on a sleeper hold. Morgan reaches over his shoulder, but Melinda keeps moving her head about. He claws at her arms as his face starts to redden.
Aiello: Melinda making her presence felt in this match
Carter: She's the International Champion for a reason, and she is out to prove her doubters wrong
He manages to grip her head and flips her up and over his shoulders. The Rebel anticipated it, however, releasing the hold seconds before he got a good grip and flipped with the snapmare to land on her feet. She immediately fires a back kick, but the Captain thinks fast and with his quick reflexes, catches her leg!
Melinda twists and turns, and goes for an Enziguri kick that he ducks, letting her flop to the canvas. Morgan then pulls The Rebel into a Wheel Barrel hold. Not caring one tenth about the suggestive positioning, he lifts Mel up off the canvas with both arms around her waist and slams her right down upon it with a brutal teeth chattering impact as she hits face and chest first on the canvas!
Aiello: Morgan looking as dominate as ever tonight
Carter: He's got such focus
As Morgan gets up, Carner is on him with lightning fast knife edge chops to the chest, driving The Captain back bit by bit! The Captain plants his feet and drives a hard open handed slap to Neo's chest that actually blisters the skin, the blow hitting with the sound of a cracked whip! Carner stumbles away, clutching at his chest in searing pain!
When he turns around, ready to strike, he's met with stiff boxing combination strikes, Morgan moving with a bit of a shuffle before each blow. He dances a circle around Neo, forcing the man's head to whip back with hair flung about almost to dramatic effect. On the last blow, Morgan spins and Neo ducks the blow, catch's Morgan's leg and yanks him off his feet in one fluid motion! Still holding the leg, Neo then flips him over and locks him up tight in a single leg Boston Crab, screaming for him to tap over and over! Darkwater growls and claws at the canvas, trying to pull himself ot the ropes. NJC just laughs and puts more torque on that hip and knee, stretching the inner thigh and groin muscle to nearly it's breaking point!
Aiello: These two have so much history, both looking for what they call 'clean win' or a 'clean loss' .. something that helps either one say 'I beat him straight up' ..
Bennett: Its called fucking bragging rights .. no prick jumps in and shuts the fucking lights off .. just a clear cut fucking win
Carter: Yep
One teeny, tiny problem.... Carner finds himself completely open and the Rebel rushes for the ropes and snaps off the ropes. Neo only has a second to look at the oncoming Rhodes with widening eyes as she front flips over him, catches him a headlock and practically rips him off of Morgan's leg with a falling flip neckbreaker.
Mel rolls to her feet, crouched and ready as Neo rises, clutching at his neck. The Rebel rushes in, leaping forward with a front dropkick that sends him falling into the corner. Once there, Melinda proceeds to batter him with hard and punishing boxing combination punches to the torso and face, momentarily stunning him. She then grips the back of his head, throws a foot into his gut and falls back with a Tomoe Nage Throw, launching him a few feet behind her!
Aiello: The Rebel is getting some momentum here
The Rebel Kips to her feet, vaults to the top rope, but before she can backflip off, she's caught from behind by Morgan who presses her up and over his head! Melinda shakes her head wildly while shouting out while trying to fight her way out of Darkwater's grip, only to be thrown out of the ring to the floor below!
Darkwater turned and saw that Carner was nowhere to be found. The Referee pointing and demanding for someone to drop a chair would be the only indication Darkwater would get. He spins around and sees NJC with a steel chair in hand, crouched on a turnbuckle, only for him to dive off and bring his chair crashing down right on Darkwater's skull! The force of the impact dents and warps the chair on impact! The Referee motions for a Disqualification!
Aiello: You had to know that was coming
Bennett: Its dirty .. I like it .. but it's dirty
Carter: I'm betting Morgan wished he got to that chair first
DING DING DING
[00:10:27]Carner laughs as the one glaring oversight of this match becomes apparent. He who has not a championship has nothing to lose! He then falls across Morgan and hooks the leg!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!
TTTHHRRREEEE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: 1st PIN GOES TO NEO JAMES CARNER! HE IS THE CURRENT TV CHAMPION!
Aiello: Well there you go .. pin one and we have a temporary new Television Champion
Outside the ring, Melinda looks on in shock, and then sets her jaw. She hops onto the apron, watches Carner rise from Darkwater with a maniacal laugh. With her gaze narrowed, she pulls back on the ropes. Neo turns towards her just as she leaps onto the top rope and catches him in a 3/4th's necklock, dropping him with THE SHOT THROUGH THE HEART!!! On impact, she makes the pinfall!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTHHHRREEEEE!!!!

[00:12:09]
Stroup: 2nd PIN GOES TO REBEL RHODES!!! SHE IS NOW THE TV & INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION!!!
Aiello: What a move and what a gal! Rhodes now with the dual title situation
Bennett: It should be fucking mentioned .. that its the most recent Championship acquisition that gets taken away should a Champion get pinned .. in this case .. if and when Melinda gets pinned for a 3 count .. she will lose the Television Championship first as that was her most recent Championship win ..
Carter: Good job Steve ..
She rises from his form, only to be caught by the throat, raised high in the air by Morgan Darkwater with the Hangman's Noose. He holds her up in the air as she chokes in his grip and just as she starts to wrap her legs around his arm, he drives her to the canvas with a chokeslam finish! There he hooks her leg for the pin!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!
TTTTHHHRRREEE!!!
DING DING DING!!!
Stroup: 3rd PIN GOES TO MORGAN DARKWATER!!!! HE HAS RECLAIMED HIS TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Aiello: Well that didn't take too long
Carter: Morgan reclaims his gold!
Morgan starts to rise, but then decides to cover Melinda again, this time hooking both legs and rolling his full body weight on top of her!
ONE!!!

[00:16:21]
Stroup: 4th PIN GOES TO MORGAN DARKWATER!!! HE IS NOW THE INTERNATIONAL AND TELEVISION CHAMPION!!!
Aiello: HOLY SHIT-BALLS! Morgan just double dipped his way into being a dual champion
Bennett: Temporarily .. chill Joe
Carter: Someone is by the book all of a sudden
Bennett: Shut the fuck up Max
He mouths, "All's fair..." as he rises up from her. Meanwhile, he sees Neo James Carner getting up on one knee, shaking his head to clear the cobwebs from the Rebel's Diamond Cutter. He gathers Neo up and hurls him into a corner. He then rushes at him with a flying leap, only to eat two boots to the chest from Carner, Morgan sent staggering back and falling to one knee!
NJC gets a running start and leaps forward as Morgan gets back to a stand, cracking him in the face with the Neo Classical Sympho-Knee! On impact, Neo falls across Morgan and hooks the leg!
ONE!!
TWO!!!!
THR-KICKOUT!!!
Darkwater throws a shoulder up and Neo gets up, alternating between hard and angry stomps, and steep standing elbow drops! Over and over, this alternating assault. He then gathers Morgan up, hits him with three knee lifts, pulls him into a suplex hold, lifts him up and hits THE SPATIAL REND!!! On impact, he hooks the leg!
Aiello: Close but not this time
ONE!!!

Stroup: 5th PIN GOES TO NEO JAMES CARNER! HE IS NOW THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION!!!
Aiello: .. oof
Bennett: You were saying?
Aiello: Well .. it took two tries
NJC sits up and then hooks both of Morgan's legs to try and pin him for the TV Title as well!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTHHHRR-KICKOUT!!!
He sits up in angry frustration and gets up, looking to do more damage, only to turn into a full on RHODES KILL from Melinda Rhodes! She hurls all 152 lbs of her body weight into his sternum shoulder first! Both go to the canvas and on impact. Melinda grits her teeth while clutching at her shoulder, but still makes the pin on the winded Neo James Carner!
ONE!!!

Stroup: 6th PIN GOES TO REBEL RHODES! SHE HAS RECLAIMED THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Aiello: Anyone else starting to lose track here?
Bennett: No, but I'm an educated man
Carter: *snickers*
As she rises up from NJC and sees Morgan waiting crouched. As she prepares to defend herself, a hand sneaks up between her legs, grips her tights and yanks her straight to the canvas for a schoolboy pin with Neo James Carner applying his full body weight on Rhodes!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTTHHHRRREEEEEEEE!!!
DING DING DING
[00:20:17]
Stroup: 7th PIN GOES TO NEO JAMES CARNER WHO TAKES BACK THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
Aiello: Not going to lie .. didn't expect this many pins here tonight .. this is certainly exciting
Carter: I agree .. I figured we'd come down to a 2-3 pin tops situation here .. but ..
Bennett: Just under 10 minutes to go
Morgan rushes to break the pin attempt with a double axe handle, but fails in catching Carner in time! Carner rises up, he and the Captain trading fast and furious punches. Back and forth the two go, The Rebel watches while crouched low, looking read to spring up at a moment's notice!
Carner gets hooked with a solid shot that staggers him and Morgan drives him back a few steps to the center of the ring where he nails Neo with a stiff boot to the gut and scoops him up, only to violently deposite him skull first to the canvas with a Quackendriver II he dubs THE SKULL AND CROSSBONES! On impact, Neo falls forward and Morgan makes the pinfall!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!
TTTTHHHHRRRREEEE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: 8th PIN GOES TO CAPTAIN MORGAN DARKWATER WHO NOW IS THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION!
Aiello: Darkwater is now International Champion
Bennett: Give it a minute .. I'm sure it will change again .. fucking musical chairs in here
Carter: The fans love it though
Darkwater rises to his feet, feeling the fatigue and wear of the match heavy upon him. He stops suddenly, feeling a presence behind him. He turns and the Rebel is on him with a 3/4th's necklock but he manages to toss Rhodes off of him! Melinda lands with a skid on her rear, but quickly flips to a low crouch. Morgan wags his finger and shakes his head with a grin. The Rebel shoots a dangerous smile of her own right back at him.
As Neo lays there and allows himself a bit of beauty rest, Rhodes and Darkwater rush in at each other. The man's boxing acumen shows quite well as The Rebel has to concentrate hard, ducking and weaving his shots while taking small jabs of her own. Though they seemingly have little effect on Darkwater, they were wearing him down slowly but surely. One shot the Rebel is unable to dodge, barely throwing her arms up in time to block a blow that most likely would have ended the match then and there for her! She stumbles back into the ropes, pain shooting through her arms, but like a great man once said, work now, feel later.
Morgan presses the advantage and as he takes that first swing, the Rebel catches his arm, hops onto the second rope and springs off. The motion pulls him into the perfect position for Melinda to catch him in a 3/4th's necklock once again, but this time he has no time to counter as the Rebel brings him crashing to the mat with a SHOT THROUGH THE HEART!!!
The Captain bounces off of the mat, stunned, and the Rebel makes the pinfall!
ONE!!!!
TWO!!!
TTTTTHHHHRRRREEE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: 9the PIN GOES TO REBEL RHODES WHO IS THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION ONCE MORE!!!
Aiello: Imagine if this was all going in the history books? Revel is once again the International Champion
Melinda rises and then falls, rolling out of the ring. It quickly became apparent that her shoulder was giving her problems once more. She grit her teeth and fought back tears as she gripped her shoulder. Back in the ring, Neo James Carner was slowly starting to recover from the Crossbones, unaware of what had just happened. He crawls over Morgan and hooks the leg.
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
KICKOUT!
Aiello: I don't know if Neo even realizes that Morgan does not have a Championship at the moment
Bennett: You have a chance to get one over, you take it. Between these two fuckers .. trust me .. it adds up
Hearing the crowd reaction, Melinda hops onto the apron. She sees Carner looking up disappointed and then its obvious that Neo is just realizing Morgan isn't even the current International Champion .. Carner now sees Rhodes on the Apron, he makes a mad rush. The Rebel grips the top rope, leaps to the top and vaults off! She wraps her thighs around his head and whips back, using his own forward momentum to ease his transition to skull first impact to the canvas via a Hurricanrana. Once down, she remains seats on his chest, and takes hold of his legs. He squirms, but it's clear he is still reeling from the Skull and Crossbones from earlier!
ONE!!!

TTTHHHRRRREEEEE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: 10th PIN GOES TO REBEL RHODES!!! SHE IS NOW THE Television AND International CHAMPION!!!
Aiello: Rebel has once again become a dual champion!!!!!!!!
Bennett: Slow your role Joe .. its temporary .. get this excited when the 30 minutes are up .. fuck
Melinda is thrown off as the hand slaps thrice on the canvas and Neo gets up, furious and angry. Melinda gets up only to find a rage driven, no longer cool or calm or smiling Neo James Carner baring down upon her with a vicious punch that spins her into the nearby corner. She turns only to meet a stunning backhand blow that has her seeing stars. There in the corner, Neo James Carner unleashes an unholy armaggeddon of punches upon Melinda Rhodes, driving her down to a seat in the corner. Once she's down, he then starts choking her with a foot to her throat! He roars at her while she flails her arms, trying to get out of this horrific situation.
NJC: WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE ALREADY??!!!
The Referee moves in to try and break it up, only for Neo to shove him back. As the Referee steps in, in steps Morgan Darkwater who spins Neo around and hurls a fist into Neo's face with such tremendous fury that he's sent flailing through the ropes!
Morgan: YOU FIRST!!
Morgan then dips forward and offers a hand to the dazed and disoriented Rhodes. She takes it without thinking and is suddenly yanked to her feet as Morgan climbs up onto the ropes, walks a few steps and then leaps up with a battering blow to The Rebel's back, dropping her down to the canvas with his WALK THE PLANK! He then gathers the Rebel up and drops her with the SKULL AND CROSSBONES for the pin!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTHHHRRRREEEEE!!!
DING DING DING
[00:28:41]
Stroup: 11th PIN GOES TO MORGAN DARKWATER!!!! HE IS ONCE AGAIN THE TELEVISION CHAMPION!
Aiello: What a move by Morgan! We are down to our final couple of minutes here ..
Bennett: Now you can start getting excited Joe .. i know my hearts finally going
Carter: This has been a very intense match so far
He releases the Pin and starts to go for it again, only to be stopped as Neo James Carner rushes through the ropes and lunges at Morgan. Morgan turns and low blows Neo who drops to his knees in pain. Grabbing Neo by the hair, Morgan begins laying right handed punches to the head until he busts open Neo's nose, which causes the ref to pull Morgan back
[00:29:02]
Aiello: This is it .. the final minute
Bennett: It's gut check time .. who will step up in these final moments?
Carter: Wait .. The Rebel is up on the top of the ropes .. what is she doing?
Melinda The Rebel Rhodes is standing on the top rope staring down at Neo and Morgan who are locked up, tired and barely able to stand at this point. Melinda looks up at the clock, smiles and then leaps in the air with a Corkscrew Shooting Star Press!!!!!!
Aiello: Oh my goodness!!!!!
Bennett: That was fucking insane!
HOLY SHIT
HOLY SHIT
HOLY SHIT
Carter: HOLY SHIT INDEED!
[00:29:48]
The Rebel, Darkwater and Carner all lay on the mat motionless .. the clock continues to count down ... Morgan with his eyes open begins to move his left arm around trying to feel for a body, hoping to land on The Rebel but is in too much pain to turn around .. finally he feels something .. a boot .. and with all his power rolls himself over draping the back of his arm over the ankle of .. Melinda Rhodes! As the ref walks over to start the count .. Neo who is already flat on his stomach looks up and lunges forward across the left arm of Morgan
[00:29:57]
ONE!
TWO!!
TTTHHRRREEEE!!!
[00:30:00]
DING DING DING
All three continue to lay on the mat .. all breathing heavily .. all unsure at what just happened or who won what, who pinned who .. where on the planet are they right now? All three are just tired .. beat .. sore .. and probably want to get a nice back-rub, drink some spiced hot co-co and set their sights on StableWars.
Paul Turner and Josh Daniels both meet together and then look at the instant replay. The both continue to discuss, looking at the clocks then checking the pins .. they both seem to be in agreement and then walk over to Jessica to give her the final verdict
Stroup: Announcing first .. the Winner of the EWC Television Championship .. officially .. NEOOOOO JAAAAAMESSSSS CARRRRRNERRRRRR!
Aiello: The fans letting it be heard right now .. they are not happy with Neo walking out of here as a Champion
Stroup: and the Winner of the EWC International Championship .. officially .. CAPTAIN MOOOOOORGAAAAAAN DARKWATERRRRRRR!
Carter: An obvious mixture of emotions from the fans who .. on the one hand, love Darkwater but on the other hand also love The Rebel and are gutted on her loss
Aiello: I don't believe it .. both Championships have changed hands here tonight and Rebel Rhodes is going home empty handed .. this is just .. wow .. EWC ladies and gentlemen .. where ANYTHING can happen
Bennett: Melinda will be thinking of that Corkscrew Shooting Star Press for a long long long while. It was a brilliantly executed move, but fuck it cost her the match .. it cost her the International Championship. She sealed her own fate .. had she waited even a few extra seconds or just stayed out of the way .. she would have walked home a champion
Carter: All three are deserving tonight .. Morgan makes the giant leap to now being International Champion .. Neo James Carner finally achieves his goal of becoming a Champion in the EWC .. and now Melinda .. with so much potential .. she had everything going her way .. she was 'this close' to leaving as a Champion tonight .. like you said Steve, that move will haunt her for a very long time.
Aiello: Timing .. it all boiled down to timing. Maybe she misread the clock .. when you are that beaten up and that tired .. the mind plays tricks .. unfortunately folks .. that's all for us tonight .. on behalf of the entire Monday Night Brawl crew .. we will see you again on November 27th for our Season Finale! Until then .. be sure to tune in to StableWars on November 20th .. Good night everyone
Brawl comes to an end with medics checking in on Morgan, Neo and Melinda as they all still lay on the mat .. breathing very heavily but not moving
