Brief Explanation of Character's Gimmick: Brought in from the Akio Dojo by ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love, Ibuki had been a promising ‘young boy’ under the guidance of Sasaki, the head trainer at the Akio Dojo and had graduated to the status of ‘Young Lion’ before being sent to the US for an excursion to gain him some much needed experience in Prime. In 2020 Tommy handed Killjoy over to his son, Buddy Love, who helped steer Killjoy into the EWC’s developmental brand FSW and into the X-Division and now one of the faces of EWC’s newest main brands Paramount.

He jumps up and down as ‘Deeper Depper’ begins to play. A strobe light circles around the stage as a single white spotlight hits the stage where Ibuki is standing, his back facing the ring, his arms stretched out and his head down. He swings around to face the ring as Buddy Love runs up and stands next to him. After a quick word the pair start to walk towards the ring, Buddy runs ahead and charges up the steps and holds open the ropes for Killjoy to step through. Ibuki walks to the center of the ring, extends his arms and tilts his head back to soak everything in.

MINI BIOGRAPHY
Growing up Ito excelled in his martial arts and wrestling camps that he would go to with his cousins, he came from a poor upbringing. The only child to his working class parents he lived in a house with his Aunt and Uncle and their 3 kids. His uncle worked as a janitor and was able to attend the classes for a reduced rate. At the age of 16 he was invited into the Akio dojo after being noticed by former wrestler Sasaki. Over the next 4 years Ito served as a ‘young boy’ for the dojo and worked his way up to a top prospect at the dojo. He was promoted to the status of ‘Young Lion’ and had several enhancement matches with IJWF and was on the verge of being ‘called up’ but with the sale of the company it was decided that his best option was to take an ‘Excursion’ to learn the art of wrestling by his trainer Sasaki. He was paired up with famous and successful manager of Champions ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love to help him make the transition into the world of professional wrestling
