As the camera pans around the Smoothie King Center once more, it finally comes to a stop at the announcers' table where we see Joe Aiello, Steve Bennett, and Max Carter.
Aiello: Good evening, everybody! Thank you for joining us in the jam-packed Smoothie King Center in New Orleans! We've got a great show for you tonight, albeit a smaller one as far as the number of matches are concerned.
Carter: But the Main Event will more than make up for it! NINE EWC Superstars, most of which are brand new, will step foot into the ring as they compete for an opportunity to face the Television Champion at some point down the road. This match will be an elimination match and, Joe, the rest of the roster will be watching.
Aiello: That's right because it is a LUMBERJACK MATCH and the entire Monday Night BRAWL Roster will be at ringside, minus Captain Darkwater since we haven't seen him in weeks, and NSFW, who are still recovering from the injuries they suffered at the hands of The Limit last week. I hear we may even have a few surprises!
Carter: But we are going to start things off with a special CHALLENGE match! Former FSW Champion Megan Treamon, also known as Robina Hood to many of you, has challenged Amis Shelton to a match and the Young Renegade Television Champion has accepted.
Aiello: Let's go to...
Bennett: HEY!
Aiello: Uh, yes, Steve?
Bennett: Are you two sons-of-bitches just going to babble all night or can I get a word in?
Carter: Our apologies, Steve. Go ahead.
Bennett: This is the greatest BRAWL in a LONG TIME! NO NSFW?! I'll drink to that!
Steve is seen cracking open an Abita Andygator.
Aiello: Well, that certainly isn't your usual beer.
Bennett: Yeah, well, in New Orleans you must drink as the locals drink!
Aiello: Guys, I am receiving word that a special guest has just arrived. Let's move to the back with Ace Heart on the scene!
Xavier Reid is shown walking backstage in the Smoothie King Center with his cousin Tlatoani Volando who is wearing a ton of multi-color beads around his neck.
Tlatoani Volando: This sucks, I spent $200.00 on beads and haven’t seen one set of boobs since we’ve been here...
Xavier Reid: That’s Mardi Gras and that was back in February…
Tlatoani Volando: Well that’s just poor planning on the people of Brawl, why the hell would we not come here right in the middle of Free Your Sweater Hams week…
Xavier Reid: Probably because of deviants like you opening the EWC to all sorts of sexual harassments lawsuits…
Tlatoani sort of stops and thinks about that for a second...
Tlatoani Volando: Yeah that was a smart move on their part…
Tlatoani starts to laugh as they walks towards the camera crew standing next to Ace Heart...
Ace Heart: Xavier, we are 7 days away from what will be the BIGGEST match of your EWC Career…
Xavier Reid: Without a doubt Ace and that’s why I came here to Brawl tonight...see last week I got a close look at both Natalie Young and Griffin Hawkins for the first time, I got to their strengths and weakness with my own two eyes and tonight I get the same opportunity with the TV Champion Amis Shelton…
Ace Heart: As he takes on on of your fellow FSW members Megan Treamon…
Xavier Reid: Robina Hood...not Megan...that’s who is here tonight to face our TV Champion and Amis thinks this will be a walk in the park, a victory run right into Night of Champions then he will be mistaken…
Ace Heart: You sound like you think Megan...I mean Robina will pull off the upset?
Xavier Reid: And you sound like you think it would be an upset IF Robina won...I get it, she’s from FSW and he’s the TV Champion on Brawl...this idea that Brawl is better is something Megan fought hard to change when she was the FSW Champion and tonight she get the chance to prove everything she has said for the last year and take out a champion on Brawl...but I’m not here to cheerlead for her...I am here to get a close look at one of my opponents for Night of Champions...Amis Shelton…
Ace Heart: Well he’s a star…
Xavier Reid: So he will tell you but I’ll be the judge of that, see I don’t want to leave anything to chance Ace, I could have ignored him and focused on the BIGGER belts but Amis took Luke Wolfe to the edge of defeat and that caught my eye...maybe Luke looked passed him or maybe Amis brought his very best that night but I want to see him against a common opponent tonight, to give him his respect and show I’m not taking anyone lightly a week out from Night of Champions…
Ace Heart: Well a little warning Amis hasn’t been in the best moods of late…
Xavier Reid: And I could care less, I’m not here to get into it with Amis Shelton like last week, we had our little standoff and he tried to big time me, I get it he’s moved on from the FSW and looks down on his roots but this belt has flourished since the time he called himself the FSW Champion so I hope he is looking past me like he’s looking past Robina...I hope he thinks that Xavier Reid has no shot because I would love nothing more than to wipe that smug smile off his face...but his fight with me is 7 days away...for his sake I hope he is ready for tonight…
Ace Heart: Well thank you for your time Xavier…
Xavier nods and Tlatoani takes off a set of beads and puts them around the neck of Ace Heart…
Tlatoani Volando: Keep your shirt on...nobody wants to see those hams….
Xavier laughs as the two walk away...
Carter: Alright, well, certainly everyone wants in on Monday Night BRAWL tonight! Xavier Reid is in the building!
Aiello: But now, it's time for some action! Let's go to the ring!
Carter: So why isn’t this an EWC Television Championship Match?
Bennett: How dare you disrespect an EWC Champion like that, this is a special challenge match, he didn’t have to put the title on the line if he didn’t want too and obviously he didn’t freaking want to you weasel ass looking sum bitch. Just do you job and call the damn match boy.
They say we wanted attention
Those five words of “Ignite” by Noisestorm, None Like Joshua & Veela, along with a momentary flash of bright light, immediately caused an incredibly loud, and mostly positive, response from the tonight's audience as red petals rain down from the ceiling of the arena. A purple-haired lady comes through the black curtains, black jacket proudly draped over her shoulders and, instantly knowing that she is Robina Hood, the people in attendance begins to become even louder with their cheers.
Bennett: Robina Hood is one tough gal you know she called Amis Shelton out last week after his vicious blind side against the EWC Undisputed Champion Natalie Young and Amis didn’t back down from the challenge.
Carter:Yeah he accepted the challenge, but he refused to put his EWC Television Championship on the line because he knows Robina Hood would have been walking out of New Orleans the New EWC Television Champion and in the process removed him from the Night of Champions Insanity Cage Match.
Bennett: Well Thank God he didn’t do that, so his spot is safe. Damn boy you better focus on the match once this bell rings or I’ll feed your ass this knuckle sandwich recipe I know.
Stroup: Standing in at five feet six inches tall, weighing in at one hundred and forty-eight pounds, residing from Lawrence, Kansas, “The Emo Princess” Robina Hood!
The forest-dweller throws her arms up high in the air, her forefingers pointing out towards the sky. This causes the jacket to fly off her shoulder and onto the stage floor, revealing her military-styled red dress - with a translucent portion in the front of the skirt - to the cameras and generated a lot of wolf whistles from the men and lesbians in attendance, before confidently beginning to walk down the ramp, keeping her distance from the people in attendance while doing so. She didn't waste much time in getting to ringside, up the ring steps and onto the ring apron. But instead of immediately entering the ring Miss Hood partly sat down on the middle rope and glanced towards the crowd just as Amis FN Shelton strikes her in the back of the head with his EWC Television Championship.
Bennett: Hell Yeah Amis, Raise some hell son, hey Carter whatcha got to say about the Television Champion now boy?
Aiello: I have to say that this new attitude of Amis Shelton has him looking so damn confidant right now he’s looks damn near untouchable.
Carter: I just want to know why? Why did you turn your back on everybody Amis? Why did you do it?
Robina Hood falls off the middle rope hitting her neck on the ring apron as she falls to the outside floor. Amis tosses his Television Championship into the ring before slowly making his way back down the ring steps in which he just used to unleash his vicious attack. Hood lays across the outside floor holding her neck in the fetal position as Amis charges forward and connects with a solid kick to the middle of her back. Robina arches her back out of the pain as Amis grabs her by the head and pulls her back up to her feet. He grabs her by the hair and yells in her face, “You want a piece of ME?” over and over again. Amis slaps her across the face before grabbing her by the arm and sending her back first into the ring barricade with a hard irish whip.
Carter: Amis Shelton has been nothing but vicious in this pre match beat down ladies and gentlemen, the bell still hasn’t rung folks none of what is happening is official.
Bennett: I don’t know what made the guy finally see the light the of day, but hey kid I’m telling you welcome back to the Dark Side, we got cold beer instead of them mushy ass good guy cookies.
Aiello: Amis is calm and collected in this vicious attack, giving off entirely zero emotion in his face or body language.
Robina holds her back again trying to relieve the stress and tension as Amis grabs her by the hair yanking her back up to her feet. Amis tosses Robina into the ring but keeps ahold of her by her hair. He pulls her by the hair dragging her head to rest just off the ring apron. Amis drops an elbow across the face of Robina before he slowly makes his way back up the ring steps and climbs into the ring. He taunts the fans as he makes his way over to his EWC Television Championship and picks it up off the mat. Amis holds it high above his head showing it off to all four sides of the ring as the fans reign down heavily with boo’s letting Amis know they are not pleased with his action. He slowly makes his way over to the ref and kisses the title before handing it over. The ref hands the title over to the time keeper before checking on Robina and after a few minutes he helps her back up to her feet and walks her over to the corner opposite Amis Shelton.
Aiello: Looks like this Special Challenge Match is still going to take place and after that vicious assault Amis Shelton looks ready to go and Robina Hood may be out of it folks.
Bennett: Ol’ Amis Shelton is doing and teaching Miss Robina what happens when you call somebody out. You mess with the bull and you get the damn horns, he’s just giving her a friendly reminder.
Carter: You call all of that a Friendly Reminder, I call it desperation, because he knows he can’t hang with Robina Hood in a fair one on one match.
Stroup: Now standing in the rind at five feet ten inches tall, weighing in at two hundred pounds, from Springfield, Illinois, your EWC Television Champion, “The Renegade” Amis “F’N” Shelton!
The fans reign down heavily with their distaste for the Television Champion as the ref checks with Robina Hood one last time and after she nods her head he signals for the bell.
Amis Shelton explodes out of the corner charging full steam for Robina Hood and flies through the air before connecting with a Corner Dropkick. Amis quickly grabs Robina and hoist her up across his shoulder and points across the ring before signaling the end by running a ringer across his throat. He charges forward and sends Robina head first into the turnbuckle with You’re Dead. Robina crumbles against the mat as Amis is quick to grab her by the feet and pull her to the middle of the ring before making the cover. The ref gets down to make the count,

,but Robina Hood gets her shoulder up before the count of three. Amis starts pounding the mat out of frustration, but quickly resides his anger and regains his composure as Hood rolls under the bottom rope to the outside floor.
Carter: I thought for sure that Amis Shelton was going to steal this victory after connecting with You’re Dead in the corner, that was sick plus all the damage she’s taken before the opening bell, but you can’t just put Robina Hood down like that.
Aiello: She’s one of the toughest women on the roster and it’s going to take more than that to keep her down for the three count.
Bennett: You boys forget that this new Amis Shelton is still calm and collected, he started that little hissy fight, but quickly went back to being calm and collected. This is one loose canon that is truly capable of anything.
The ref starts to make his count and Robina slowly makes her way back up to her feet by the count of four as Amis watches from inside the ring. Once Robina stands tall Amish leans over the second rope and grabs her by the hair, but Robina quickly pulls free and violently lands a headbutt across the face of Shelton by the count of six. Shelton grabs his face as Robina jumps up and grabs him by the head pulling him to the outside floor restarting the refs count. Robina guides Amis back to his feet and sends him crashing into the ring barricade by the count of three. Robina makes her way over by the count of four and connects with two big right hands by the count of five. She quickly spinds around and lands a Discus Double Axe Handle to the face of Shelton sending him down to the floor by the count of seven. Robina quickly rolls into the ring and once crossing the bottom rope she quickly backs out of the ring and back to the outside floor restarting the refs count.
Carter: They say Karma is a bitch and now Robina Hood is the one in control and she’s taking care of business.
Bennett: Amis Shelton is just buying his time just wait and see, this one is far from over.
Aiello: They have the fans on the edge of their seats at this moment because these fans know this can be all over in the blink of an eye.
Robina makes her way over to Amis by the count of three and grabs him by the face pulling him back up to his feet. She drives a back elbow into his face and follows suit with an open hand slap by the count of four. Amis attempts to fire back with a slap of his, but Robina catches his arm before bombarding him with multiple slaps across both sides of the face by the count of five. Robina swings hard with a spinning back fist knocking Amis off his feet by the count of six. Robina reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair and holds her high above her head by the count of seven. She charges forward like she is going to swing at Amish but purposely misses by the count of eight. She opens the chair and places it against the ring barricade a few feet away from Amis before rolling back into the ring. Robina quickly rolls back out to the outside floor once again restarting the refs count and makes her way over to Amis before pulling him up to his feet. She grabs him behind the head and digs her nails into his face raking his eyes as she pushes him back into the chair at the count of three. Robina takes a few steps away from Amis before turning on her heels and charging forward connecting with a running big boot to the face of Amis by the count of five. Robina quickly grabs Amis and guides him back up to his feet and rolling into the ring. She pulls herself onto the apron by the count of seven and into the ring stopping the the refs count.
Aiello: Robina Hood showing Amis Shelton that he isn’t the only violent one in the matchup tonight.
Carter: She’s just giving that piece of garbage a taste of his own medicine.
Bennett: Shelton is just biding his time and is patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike, just you wait and see.
Robina crawls her way over to Amis and grabs him by the arm before making her way back up to her feet. Once reaching her feet while still grabbing the arm of Amis she pulls him back up to his feet and instantly connects with another vicious headbutt directly to the face. Robina still holding the arm of Amis sends him across the ring with an irish whip. Robina sets up in the corner across from Amis and once he connects back first with the turnbuckle she charges forward and leaps through the air connecting with a running butt bump directly to the face. Robina walks to the middle of the ring as Amis falls to his knees before dropping right on his face. Robina quickly makes her way over and grabs Shelton by the legs making the cover. The ref quickly drops to the mat for the count

but, Amis manages to kick out before the count of two.
Carter: These two have been evenly matched up here tonight, both having control of the match, Amis before the opening bell and Robina taking the over after the sound of the bell.
Bennett: There’s no doubt about Robina Hood being one touch broad, but this new attitude of Amish Shelton had turned him into an instant badass.
Aiello: All I am seeing is dollar signs, these two are fierce competitors and it shows every time they are in the ring together.
Amis makes it back up to his feet and meets Robina in the middle of the ring and both start swinging away with big right hands. Amis lands a spinning back kick to the midsection of Robina knocking the air out of her lungs. Amis grabs Robina by the head and plants her on the mat with a Lifting Single Underhook DDT in the middle of the ring. Amis takes a minute to regain his composure before grabbing Robina and pulling her back up to her feet once again. He grabs her by the arm and sends her across the ring with an irish whip. Robina uses the momentum from the irish whip to keep ahold of Amis and send him to the ropes instead with an irish whip of her own. Amis bounces back from the ropes and jumps into the air grabbing Robina by the head with his legs takes her down to the mat with a hurricanrana. Amis follows through managing to land across the chest of Robina and fires down with explosive rights and lefts. Amis quickly pops back up to his feet and grabs Robina by the hair forcing her back up to her own feet. Amis grabs Robina by the hand and pulls her forward as he buries a knee deep into her midsection. Robina buckles over before Amis lifts her across his shoulders before driving her down to the mat with an Ushigoroshi. Amis hooks her legs for the cover and the ref gets down to make the count,

but, Robina kicks out right before the count of three.
Aiello: These two are throwing everything they have at one another, this has been intense.
Bennett: I’m loving this ruthlessness from Amis Shelton, it’s like he’s a brand new man here on Monday Night Brawl.
Carter: Come on Robina Hood, get up and get back into this matchup we need you.
Amis makes his way back up to his feet and over to Robina who continues to hold her neck after that crushing Ushigoroshi. Amis starts to pick at Robina by tapping her with his foot enticing her to get back up to her feet. Amis kneels in front of Robina and motions for her to just bring it while smacking her in the head. Amis stands tall and extends his foot to the face of Robina, but she catches his foot and trips him up sending him to the mat back first. Robina leaps on top of Amis and starts nailing him with right and lefts of all sorts. Amis tries to crawl away but Robina moves with him and the two eventually make it to the corner. Robina doesn’t let up and unloads with wild lefts and rights in the corner. Robina walks away from Amish allowing him to stagger forward and Robina grabs him by the arms and sends him to the ropes with an irish whip. Amis bounces back just as Robina snatches him out of the air and drives him down to the mat with a snap scoop powerslam. Robina quickly wraps up the legs of Amish for the cover as the ref gets down to make the count,

but, Amis manages to roll out of it before the count of three.
Carter: Man these two are tearing the living hell out of one another.
Aiello: Amis Shelton may have a new attitude but it damn sure doesn’t compare to the resistance of the one Robina Hood.
Bennett: Ol, bite my ass, Come on Amis and get your ass back in control of this match son, Damn it boy.
Robina rest on her knees for a minute or two before making her way back up to her feet. She grabs Amis and pulls him back up to his feet and quickly connects with a Spinning Heel Kick sending him back down to the mat. Robina grabs Shelton and pulls him back up to his feet, Amis immediately starts to throw elbows into the midsection of Robina trying to escape from her clutches. Robina quickly spins around and drives Amis face first into the middle turnbuckle with a reverse STO. Robina makes her way over to her corner and rest against the ropes before reaching in her tights and pulling out a capsule popping it into her mouth. Amis staggers out of the corner as Robina turns to face him spraying him with the Blood Mist. Blood blinds Amis in his eyes as Robina quickly slips behind him before driving him down to the mat with the Grand Finale. Amis bounces off the knees of Robina and lands against the mat as she pushes him over onto his back hooking his legs for the cover as the ref makes the count.

Stroup: The winner of the match, R-
The Brawl announcer couldn’t even declare the winner as the moment Miss Hood raises a hand up in victory she instantly flops down from Amis’ stiff elbow to the back of her head. The people in attendance boo as he grabs Robina by her throat, drags her up to her feet and shout something at her before flattening the Englishwoman with a lethal Dream Eater. Unsatisfied by this Amis drags her back up for a second, more debilitating, Dream Eater, before he steps back in enjoyment at what he has done. Yet, instead of heading off or choosing to pose, the male takes a moment to look down at what he has done before practically throwing himself out of the ring to rush over to the ring announcer and push her over to take the chair she was sitting in.
Aiello: What a sore loser!
Bennett: This close to Night of Champions I think it’d be a great opportunity to send a message to the other Champions.
Aiello: You don’t need to try injuring somebody to deliver a message!
Though his words may or may not have merit Amis isn’t listening to any of them as the moment he grabs hold of the metal chair he slides himself into the ring and, after chasing the official out of the ring, begins to drive the edge of the steel directly into the side of Robina’s chest. Glee filling his eyes at the pain that clearly shot through the milky skinned woman’s body as he plunges the chair down again and again to the sound of damaged bones and a loud chorus of boos. Fortunately this aggressive assault is quickly brought to an end when “Cochise” blasts into the arena and Xavier Reid sprints down to the ring like an Olympian. Shelton quickly drops the chair, dives out the ring and grabs his Television Championship before backing up the ramp as Xavier splits his attention between watching his upcoming opponent and checking on Robina Hood’s wellbeing…at least until she starts coughing out quite some blood to the shock of some in the arena.
Carter: Amis might’ve caused internal bleeding! Are there no limits to what he’s willing to do?
Bennett: Some may think of that as a bad thing but it might be what gives Amis the edge at Night of Champion.
While the commentators speak the last thing we see before fading off to a commercial break is Amis looking down towards the ring with a proud look on his face, while holding his Television Championship up, and Xavier helping the EMTs tend to the bleeding Englishwoman.
Aiello: Good evening, everybody! Thank you for joining us in the jam-packed Smoothie King Center in New Orleans! We've got a great show for you tonight, albeit a smaller one as far as the number of matches are concerned.

DING DING DING

DING DING DING

When we return, we are backstage and we see Nostalgia. Nostalgia takes a few seconds to knock on the door of Natalie Young’s locker room as he slightly adjusts the X-Division Title on his shoulder. He is about to knock, but Ash Brizzie, a.k.a. Dream Weaver beats him to the punch with the classic...Knock-Knock. KnockKnockKnock ...Knock ...Knock. They share a smile as they await the Undisputed Champion to come to the door.
Ash Brizzie: I am sure they are fine. But if anyone would know, she would. And don’t worry if she tries something, I got your back dawg.
Dreamweaver flexes and acts like she is going to a Crane Kick. So of course, Natalie Young opens the door in the midst of the tomfoolery--and while she is visibly taken aback for a moment? How quickly she regains her composure is a sign of how often she’s had to deal with similar shenanigans before. A brow quirks as the Undisputed Champion’s gaze flickers between the pair.
Young: Can I… help you?
Ash Brizzie blushes, Nostalgia steps forward.
Nostalgia: Hello Miss Young. First, we wanted to come see if you could share any information about NSFW’s well being with us. They helped up out when we needed it, I feel bad we weren’t there to have their backs.
The Southern Belle’s expression softens a bit at that, nodding as the tension in her frame eases.
Young: Please, call me Natalie-- and they’re on the mend. We thought it best for them to recuperate at my place, where Mister Morgan can help out.
Nostalgia: Oh, the other thing…
Ash Brizzie steps forward, producing a picture of Natalie Young from her days as EUW Lionheart Champion.
Ash Brizzie: Sorry, this is really nerdy but can you sign this for me, Nat? I have been a big fan for years.
A bemused smile graces Natalie’s lips as she nods, accepting a marker from a passing P.A. and signing it with a flourish. Nostalgia looks befuddled as this new piece of information assimilates.
Nostalgia: Look at that. Still surprising me. Anyway. Miss Natalie. Great win over Luke and congrats on becoming Undisputed Champion. Well deserved. I look forward doing battle with you come Night of Champions.
Natalie nods, extending her hand for Nostalgia to shake.
Young: Thank you, and likewise. Take care. I’ll pass along your well wishes to John and Mike.
Nostalgia: Thanks Natalie.
Ash Brizzie: Thank you so much.
Nostalgia and Ashley give Natalie a smile before turning and making their way down the hall.
SINGLES MATCH
KENDRICK KROSS
VS HAPPY
Aiello: What a battle we just witnessed between the two former FSW Champions. Amis Shelton and Robina Hood has set the pace for a great show.
Pyros hit, lights flash red and black and "Ain't no Grave" by Johnny Cash begins to play as fans begin to cheer and jeer and Happy drives out from the back on his custom Harley. He stops atop the stage and looks out to the crowd both left and right and revs his engine before his ride towards the ring. He's wearing blacked out custom Oakley's, his 'Crimson Demons' leather cut, no shirt underneath and black Jean's with white shoes.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring. Fighting out of Oakham Massachusetts, standing 6'2" and weighing 245, HAPPY!
He steps off of his Harley putting his glasses down on it and then taking his Cut and laying it onto the seat of the bike before sliding into the ring. Once inside Happy wears a menacing smile as he rolls his fists waiting for the match to begin.
Aiello: Happy came close to winning the X-Division Title. He is looking to regain some of that momentum he had going into the title match.
Carter: He is a disturbed and dangerous individual.
Bennett: Finally, someone aside from Rob Garcia worth cheering for on Brawl. All these classless competitors bore the shit out of me. But Happy gives me hope.
Seven Nation Army' hits the PA System. The lights flash red and white with each bass drum hit illuminating the stage briefly. When the snare comes in the rest of the lights come in to reveal Kendrick standing in the middle of the stage with a slight smile on his face. When the cymbals hit in as the words "leave it alone" are said red and white pyro shoot from the side of the stage as Kendrick proceeds down the ramp.
Stroup: From Chelsea London, weighing at 215 Pounds....Kendrick KROSS!
Kendrick continues his way down the ramp slapping a few hands and with each cymbal strike the red lights brighten. As he reaches the end of the ramp he smiles and takes a left turn and walks up the steps, climbing in through the top and second ropes. He walks to the middle of the ring and looks out into the crowd before walking over to his corner and hopping up onto the turnbuckle awaiting the bell.
Aiello: Kendrick Kross is looking to make his way back into a title picture.
Carter: A two time Television Champon. He is a champion without a belt. But I am sure he will wear EWC Gold again.
Bennett: God I hope not. The whole of Freaks and Geeks should just quit and leave the EWC. If they really cared about EWC, that’s what they would do.
Carter: Wh...You know what, I am not even going to give you the pleasure.
Happy doesn’t wait for the bell, instead, he charges at Kendrick perched on the top turnbuckle.
DING DING DING
Kendrick leaps off the turnbuckle and over Happy. Kross lands on his feet, charges, leaps and crashes into Happy with Whisper in the Wind. Kross quickly follows up with a Tornado DDT, driving Happy’s head into the mat. Kross goes for a quick pin…1

Kickout by Happy
Aiello: If Kross can keep this match at this pace, he has a good chance of walking away as the victor.
Carter: Happy is no slow poke either though. Kross needs to stay aggressive.
Bennett: Resistance is Futile
Carter: Did you just quote…
Bennett: No Max. Never seen it.
Carter: I didn’t even finishing mentioning Star Trek.
Kross quickly pounces on Happy, grabbing his left leg, and setting in an Ankle Lock. But Happy manages to grab the ropes, forcing Kross to break the hold. Kross steps away, giving Happy space to get to his feet. Kross comes up with a kick, but Happy catches his leg, cocks his head back, then delivers a devastating Headbutt. As Kross staggers back a few steps, Happy leaps onto the middle rope then off, taking Kross down with a Springboard Leg Lariat. Bouncing right back to his feet, sprinting to the ropes, again hopping on then off the middle rope, this time coming down with a Springboard Moonsault. Happy goes for the cover…

Kickout by Kross
Aiello: Happy gets the advantage here with a nearfall.

Bennett: Not to mention he is like 100000 times tougher...and cooler.
Happy grabs Kross by the head, begins unloading hard rights to the forehead of Kross until the ref breaks it up. Happy drags K2 to his feet, setting him up for a Suplex. But as he lifts Kendrick, K2 escapes out the back, landing on his feet. Kross connects with a Step Up Enziguri, staggering Happy. Kross follows up with a Roundhouse Kick, Happy staggers back between the ropes, and falls to the outside. Kross bides his time as Happy gets to his feet, Kross charges, leaps, and connects with the Wrecking Ball Dropkick, sending Happy back into the barricade. The ref begins to 10 count.

DING DING DING
Stroup: Here is your winner….. HAPPY!Aiello: Happy with another big win heading into Night of Champions.
Carter: He is too talented to align himself with the likes of Draco Lazarus.
Bennett: Watch your mouth Carter. Happy is as smart as he is classy. I trust his judgment better than yours.
The ref tries to raise Happy’s hand in victory, but he pulls away. He stares down Kross pulling himself to his feet. Happy laughs as he rubs the bruised lip while he makes his way to the outside and up the ramp.
Aiello: Coming up next we have Rob Garcia taking on Young Sinatra. Stay tuned folks, you won’t want to miss the intensity of that match.
Aiello: Well, it’s been quite the show thus far, and we’ve still got two big matches to go!
Carter: Our nine-person main event is sure to be a star-making moment for a few people in the match, so I’m looking forward to seeing who grabs that opportunity.
Bennett: They all bitch-ass son o’ bitches.
Aiello: I don’t know if that’s fair, but one of them will get a shot at becoming a champion here in EWC-
“THE ACE OF SPADES!!! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!”
Carter: And speaking of Champions!
Bennett: Aww hell naw, not this son o’ bitch again.
Sure enough, the opening bass line to the iconic Motörhead anthem rips through the Smoothie King Center, producing roughly a 70-30 favourable reaction as the crowd looks to the stage in anticipation, but when the guitar riff kicks in… Nobody’s there.
Bennett: Where’s that son o’ bitch at? Hope he ain’t readyin’ another Pepper Brooks impression.
Aiello: I must admit, this is a bit strange-
Carter: UP THERE!
Sure enough, Carter points up and to his right; at the top of the lower bowl stands EWC United States Champion Ace King, who’s sporting a black Drew Brees New Orleans Saints jersey with the gold on his shoulder and his fiancée, Shelley Silver, by his side, the cheers still prevailing within the mixed reaction.
Carter: There’s definitely a vocal pocket of Monday Night purists greeting Ace and Shelley here tonight.
Aiello: You’ve got that right; Ace is the only Champion on Friday Night Rampage right now, so he has to know he’s stepping into hostile territory tonight, as he’ll be facing FOUR BRAWL Superstars, along with Candy and Xavier Reid, inside the Insanity Cage at Night of Champions week from tonight.
Bennett: I’ll kick the son o’ bitch right back where he came from.
With a look and a small smirk, Ace and Shelley make their way down the stairs toward the ring; they hold hands in the middle, and tag fan hands with the other. However, as they get to the arena floor, they encounter a belligerent fan, red-faced and perhaps in a few too deep already.
Fan: YOU’RE A JOKE, ACE! YOU DON’T BELONG HERE! YOU’RE NEVER GONNA WIN, AND SHE’S A TROLL!
The last comment gets Shelley’s attention; meanwhile, Ace simply raises an eyebrow, the rare face of composure as arena security drags the fan away. ‘The Gambler’ and Shelley simply shrug their shoulders before hopping over the barricade.
Aiello: That’s something you certainly don’t want to see.
Carter: We appreciate the fans’ passion, but there’s definitely a time and place for it.
Aiello: For sure; we mentioned that Ace and Shelley are very much in hostile territory tonight, but I don’t think Ace’s durability and commitment throughout his EWC career can be questioned, not to mention Shelley’s no slouch in the ring, either.
Bennett: Easy when the son o’ bitch only has half the schedule…
Aiello: Can you not?
The couple grab microphones from ringside, and they pop up the ring steps; Ace sits on the middle rope so Shelley can step through, and he follows suit. ‘Ace of Spades’ slowly fades out, and the crowd gets restless as Ace and Shelley stand in the middle of the ring, the crowd split about 65-35 in favour of the two Rampage superstars as they survey the New Orleans crowd intently. Ace nods along with the majority of people chanting his name, subtly conducting them for a moment before slowly sitting down and crossing his legs in the middle of the ring, raising the microphone to his mouth.
Ace King: WHO DAT, NEW ORLEANS?!?!?!
Almost immediately, the United States Champion gets a cheap pop for the hometown reference, though it’s not long before the mixed reaction settles back in; chants of ‘ACE! ACE! ACE!’ still echo throughout Smoothie King Center as ‘The Gambler’ simply smirks in approval before raising the microphone to his mouth.
Ace King: You know, about a year ago, I stood in this very ring… In front of the same great EWC fans who make their voices heard week after week… And I told you that, at last year’s Night of Champions, I would become the next Undisputed Champion because I was Ace goddamn King, a different breed from Amis… Fuckin’... Shelton…
The crowd boos at the mention of the Television Champion; Ace simply nods along, a level expression on his face as he raises the microphone to his mouth again.
Ace King: While things didn’t work out for me back then, or in the year that’s followed as it relates to the Undisputed Championship, I’ll say one thing: At least Amis showed up to fight this week.
There’s a surprised ‘OOOOOOOOH!’ from a pocket of the crowd at that declaration, set within a 60-40 favourable reaction.
Aiello: Well, if that isn’t a shot across the bow at his Night of Champions opponents, I don’t know what is.
Bennett: Son o’ bitch ain’t playin’ around tonight.
‘The Gambler’ just stares out into the crowd, an eyebrow raised and his tongue buried in his bottom lip as he hoists the United States Championship comfortably onto his shoulder, encountering a true mixed reaction from the New Orleans crowd.
Ace King: Oh sure, they'll be Lumberjacks later tonight, just like I will, but it's not even close to the same thing. I know it won’t be a popular opinion, and I do consider some of my fellow Champions friends… However, friendships go out the window when something of this magnitude is at stake, and I’ve never been shy about calling a spade a spade, so to speak.
The reaction goes back to about 65-35 favouring Ace as he continues to survey the crowd, completely in control of himself.
Ace King: It’s proof that it truly is a rare breed willing to fight any time the opportunity presents itself, even if it goes against conventional wisdom, all in the name of proving their worth and staking their claim as being the best in the business, which is what I intend to do.
The crowd slowly starts getting back on Ace’s side as he slowly gets to his feet, a spark of intensity in his eyes.
Ace King: I’ve never sold myself short on competition, and I’ve never wanted to take the easy way with anything. It’s no secret that I’ve struggled when I get to this point… But at the risk of sounding like a broken record, this time really does feel different.
A pocket of the crowd jeers the notion, but the majority side with the United States Champion as he takes a deep breath, looking blankly out into the audience.
Ace King: See, it’s one thing to fight somebody with something like the Undisputed Championship on the line… But imagine staring into the eyes of a man who feels right at home when locked in an utterly demonic structure like the Insanity Cage, especially when he’s ready to lash out, leaving ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN RESERVE? That’s what my fellow Champions will see a week from tonight.
The crowd perks up at the United States Champion’s increased intensity as he starts pacing back and forth in the ring.
Ace King: For me, this calendar year has been about climbing back up after consistently falling a step short of the summit… And yet, I know these opportunities aren’t evergreen, so if I can’t get it done this time...
The majority of the crowd starts a solid chant for ‘The Gambler’ as he has to look away and compose himself, grasping at his jaw before bowing his head.
Ace King: No… I can’t consider that notion. I’ve come too far, and endured too many highs and lows to let it end any other way. I can’t, and won’t, settle for anything less, and so to my fellow Champions… Once we hit Indianapolis, you’d best believe I will dig deeper than I ever have, I will hold NOTHING back, and all the struggles will FINALLY BE WORTH IT WHEN I WALK OUT OF INDIANA WITH THE EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP!
Ace’s eyes pierce through the camera as the crowd is firmly behind him now, the chants for the United States Champion gradually increasing. Ace rolls his head on the back of his neck to calm himself, then exhales heavily to reset himself before looking Shelley’s way.
Ace King: Alas, I always prefer letting my actions do the talking, so that’s enough out of me for one night. Instead, I’ll turn the floor over to a woman who, despite certain suggestions to the contrary, is more than capable of defending herself.
With that, Ace backs off a bit, and the crowd cheers for the former two-time United States Champion as she steps forward with a small smirk on her face, microphone in hand.
Shelley Silver: So I bet a lot of you have some questions for me. Either you’ve seen it on Twitter, or you’ve heard about it. I’ve formally denounced wrestling championships and yet…
Shelley motions to the title belt currently hanging on her fiance’s shoulder.
Shelley Silver: This handsome gentleman by my side is holding the very same one that I’ve held twice myself in the recent past.
Aiello: Well, at least she hasn’t forgotten that fact.
Bennett: It almost seems like the dumb broad has finally gone off of the deep end. The championships are a symbol of the best of the best in all of wrestling.
Carter: Just let her talk. She may have a point.
Shelley Silver: The answer, my dears, is actually quite simple. I don’t like what professional wrestling championships do to people. Not just the champions themselves, but the contenders, and those who would like to be contenders.
Shelley shook her head, then looked over to Ace.
Shelley Silver: Well, not all of you.
Shelley smirked as she listened to the various reactions from the crowd.
Shelley Silver: You see, when it comes to championships, it isn’t always about going up against that particular person. It’s about going for the shinies.
Shelley laughed along with the audience members that got the reference.
Bennett: What the hell is so damn funny? I don’t get it.
Carter: She made a Pokemon reference. She’s topical.
Bennett: Whatever. Just wake me up when she’s done.
Shelley Silver: Holding the status symbol means more to most wrestlers than actually fighting and wrestling. It turns most of you in the the back into pathetic shells of human beings.
Aiello: I think that I see where she’s going with that.
Carter: Yeah, she may have a point here. She may have started a crusade here.
Shelley Silver: Yes, I am very sorry, I’m about to mention my blackbelts again, but it’s to make a point. All of my blackbelts and all of my world martial arts championships were earned. I think that a lot of you can agree that not every one of the competitors in next week’s Insanity Cage earned that shit. Same goes for a number of previous champions. The first time I won the United States Championship, I in no way felt like I earned it. The second time was just a bonus for coming out on top of an awesome feud. But you better believe that I owned that shit while I was holding that belt.
Shelley’s enthusiasm caused a good chunk of the audience to cheer, causing her to grin.
Aiello: It seems like the BRAWL crowd like Shelley a little more than Ace.
Carter: Well, she used to spend some time here to stir up some trouble while she was involved with King Flip.
Aiello: Then turned around and played goody two shoes when she went back to Rampage.
Shelley Silver: But now with all of that out of the way, you may or may not know that I have declared that I aim aiming to be the top of the X-Division. However, I have absolutely no desire to hold the title. Nostalgia, you can keep that shit. You’ve tarnished its name, anyway.
Aiello: But…
Carter: I’m sure that she’s fully aware that the X-Division title is meant to represent the best of the best in the X-Division. She’s just saying that she wants to be above all of that.
Aiello: But how are the powers that be going to take that idea?
Carter: I guess we’ll find out.
Shelley Silver: You know, it’s funny… I’ve been paying attention to what all of you have had to say going into the Insanity Cage next week. So far, one thing has really stuck out to me. Only one of you have brought up my name so far, so I believe that it’s only fair that I react to it. You said something that was obviously meant to be in my defense. However, I am in no way humbled and honored that this was said about me. In fact, I am offended, Leo.
Shelley kept a stone cold glare into the camera as the audience ‘ooooh’ed at the turn around revelation that she had just dropped.
Shelley Silver: Now, I get that it is very easy to confuse domestic violence and sanctioned fighting. I’m just completely baffled that someone who claims to be so ‘woke’ doesn’t have any of their eyes opened wide enough to see this. Not only does my man have the confidence that I can handle myself in the ring against him, but he knows that I would more than likely come out on top.
Ace King: Hard to argue with all those black belts…
Shelley’s demeanor then turned to a more sarcastic look and her voice turned condescending.
Shelley Silver: See?! Now in saying all of that, if I were you, Miss Ashley Brizzle, I would actually be deeply offended by the way that your man feels about the subject.
With that, Shelley simply grinned and discarded the microphone before giving Ace a nod, letting him know that she had said all that she wanted to say as ‘I Am The Fire’ plays them out of the ring.
Aiello: Well, certainly some strong declarations made by both Rampage stars here in New Orleans tonight.
Bennett: I’ll just make one: Go back where y’all came from, son o’ bitches.
Ace and Shelley roll out of the ring and walk up the ramp, Ace’s arm around Shelley’s shoulders as they turn to the face the crowd one more time before cutting to an image on the screen.
SINGLES MATCH
YOUNG SINATRA
VS ROB GARCIA
Aiello: Well, folks, it's time for more action! We've got a good one for you next, folks. Young Sinatra will take on Rob Garcia!
Bennett: The ReMnant has been on FIRE lately!
Carter: He truthfully has! Let's go to Jessica in the ring!
STROUP: Introducing; hailing from London, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 217 pounds... YOUNG SINATRA!
As the calming classical compositional aspects of Fleshgod Apocalypses "The Violation" crescendos upwards, a burst of fast, heavily distorted guitars and blast beaten drums pour from the arenas PA system and casecades out unto the audience. Smoke has already filled the top of the entrance ramp during the more calming opening moment of the theme music. As the song errupts, a kneeling Young Sinatra can be seen jetting upwardly, both arms extended outwardly, as if to soak in the raining boos that the crowd happily lets out. Slowly, but surely, Sinatra performs a little spin atop the ramp, as if the crowd were cheering rather than jeering. A concieted and angering smirk wisps intself onto his face as he casually walks down the ramp, both arms still extended. As he reaches the ring, Sinatra notices a younger member of the audience with their hand out, looking for a high five. He walks over to them and goes to give the fan a high five, but quickly retracts his arm, running his hand through his wetted hair instead, and flicking the beads of liquid out onto the crowd, much to the dismay of the child. He turns to face the camera, giving a little wink and gun-motion with his right hand. Turning his attention to the ring itself, he does a brisk run, sliding onto the ring apron while clutching the middle rope. He hoists himself up, as he latches one arm onto the top rope while facing the ring. He proceeds to whip himself around, latching his other arm on as well, leaning backwards as he faces the crowd, much akin to classic Chris Jericho. The smug and arrogant smirk remains on his face as he looks out and among the crowd. He finally, much to the relief of the crowd, enters the ring through the middle rope, but not without being unneededly cautious. "The Violation" begins to fade out.
Aiello: Young Sinatra coming off a few tough losses. He will be looking to find his groove against Rob Garcia.
Bennett: I like the cut of Sinatra’s jib, but he is not as classy as Rob Garcia, so not happening.
Stroup: And his opponent….weighing in at 245 pounds and hailing from Los Angeles, CA….Accompanied by Jeff Noon….He is the Tag Team Champions... The RemNant… ROB GARCIA!
The arena goes dark except for the fans cell phones... 🎵I wear a mean dark pair of shades.. 🎵 plays threw out the arena and the crowd errupt in "boo's!" The music hits and the lights come on! Rob Garcia is standing at the top of the stage with Jeff Noon at his side. Rob is wearing his Tag Team Championship around his waist and he looks around at the crowd with a cocky grin upon his face. Rob slowly looks around at the crowd and then shakes his head in disgust as Jeff focuses on the ring. Jeff whispers something to Rob and Rob nods his head and they start ro walk towards the ring taking their time. Rob stops to talk trash to a fan and then marches to the ring and slides in, gets to his feet and goes to the ring post climbs the turn buckle he pats his championship and then throws both fists in the air! He then jumps off the turn buckle and walks to his corner where Jeff Noon is waiting. Jeff starts to whisper advice into Robs ear as they stare ahead waiting for the match to start.
Aiello: Rob Garcia will be defending the Tag Titles come Night of Champions. After a tough match with Carlos Ruiz, he is looking to get some momentum on his side.
Bennett: He has Jeff Noon, that’s better than momentum.
Carter: Still, he needs to focus or Young Sinatra could easily walk away with the win.
DING DING DING
Sinata charges at Rob Garcia, going for a Flying Clothesline, but Garcia catches him with a stiff European Uppercut, stopping Sinatra dead in his tracks. Garcia wraps his arms around the dazed Sinatra, taking him down with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Instead of going for a pin, Garcia sprints to the ropes, leaps on then off, connecting with a Lionsault. He goes for the cover.1
Kickout by Sinatra
Rob Garcia grabs Sinatra, bringing him to his feet, then whips him into the corner. Garcia charges, but Young Sinatra gets his feet up, stopping Garcia’s assault. Sinatra hops onto the top turnbuckle, then leaps, going for a Leg Lariat, but Garcia ducks the impact. Sinatra turns into a Superkick. Garcia heads to the corner, climbs to the Top Rope, leaps, and connects with Bitch Please. He goes for the cover.

Kickout by Sinatra
Aiello: Rob Garcia has Young Sinatra on the ropes here.
Rob Garcia quickly gets up, runs to the ropes, bounces off then goes for Just to crazy out of control and extreme for anyone else to do, but Sinatra rolls out of the way at the last second. Sinatra brings Garcia up and plants him into the mat with No Stars Over Bethlehem. He goes for the cover.

Jeff Noon gets on the apron, distracting the ref. Young Sinatra also gets to his feet and heads over. It looks like he is getting ready to strike Jeff Noon as Noon insults him. But Noon then points and whistles, Sinatra turns, and is drilled by Lights Out for Harambe. Rob Garcia goes for the cover.

Stroup: Here is your winner….ROB GARCIA!Aiello: Rob Garcia gets the win.
Carter: And thanks to Jeff Noon, again. What a shocker.
Bennett: Don’t be jealous you don’t have a friend like Jeff Noon.
Rob Garcia and Jeff Noon celebrate the win, mocking the fans as they make their way up the ramp.
Aiello: Coming up next, folks, we've got the big Main Event for you! It's a nine person Lumberjack Elimination Match! Winner gets a shot at the EWC Television Championship down the line! Don't go anywhere! You won't want to miss this!

Stroup: Introducing first, the Lumberjacks!
The camera begins bouncing around the outside of the ring as Jessica Stroup introduces each lumberjack from her list, allowing the crowd their reactions after each introduction.

Bennett: And I hope they all beat the everlivin' shit out of each other tonight!
Aiello: You may get your wish, Steve. Fireworks are very, very possible!
Suddenly, "The Man" by The Killers begins playing over the loudspeakers. Out walks a man dressed as a full-on lumberjack and a long fake beard. He's got an axe in his hand as he begins sauntering down to the ring.
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, I have just been handed a note. We have another lumberjack in attendance. Please welcome... a man who is 1-0 on Friday Night Rampage and is the former Number One Contender to the Undefeated Championship... Kyle Gaurnitierre!!!
Aiello: Kyle Gaurnitierre? I mean, the guy disappeared from the EWC for two months and suddenly people can't get his name right?
Bennett: What the hell you talkin about?! That's Kyle Gaurnitierre! He's new and he's a bonafide lumberjack!
"Gaurnitierre" joins the rest of the lumberjacks outside of the ring. He gets some looks from people all around, but none more heated than the one he gets from Rob Garcia. Garcia walks over to him and stands feet away from him, followed by Noon.
Garcia: YOU SUCK KYLE GUITAR!
Garcia and Noon laugh it up before "Gaurnitierre" grabs the axe with both hands and looks at Garcia with a grin. Garcia and Noon scamper backwards and bump into Carlos Ruiz, who smiles right in Garcia's face when he turns around. Garcia and Noon run around the other side and stand behind The Limit, who both give Garcia and Noon looks of disdain for a moment before returning their gaze right into the seething eyes of Natalie Young across from them. Referees garnish the Undisputed Champion on each side, as they do with every other Champion in order to protect the pay-per-view Main Eventers. The only Champion not standing at ringside is Amis Shelton, who took the liberties of grabbing a rolling chair and sitting at ringside with the Television Championship draped over his shoulder. Three referees are in the ring with Jessica Stroup.
The beginning of "Get Up" by Skrillex ft Korn begins to play as electricity animates through the light boards around the arena. As it returns to the main screen, JAMES appears on the screen as the drop in the song hits.
Stroup: Introducing first….hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and weighing 250 pounds…. NICK JAMES!
"I, am clearly broken and no one knows what to do"
James appears from behind the curtains as the lyrics begin. He has a hoodie covering his face. He stops at the top of the ramp.
"Times are looking grim these days..Holding on to everything, It's hard to draw the line"
He turns around as the drop hits and red lights start to flash throughout the arena
"SHUT THE FUCK UP GET UPPP"
The wobble from Skrillex hits and he turns around, removing the hoodie and walking down to the ring.
James ignores the crowd and trash talks a few of the lumberjacks as he slides into the ring. "Holla if you Hear Me" hits the loud speakers and the camera goes onto the entrance way. We see Jamal Jackson, wearing his white wife beater and blue jean shorts come out to the top of the entrance way. He raises his arms in victory and then slowly makes his way down to the ring.
Stroup: Next, from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada... Jamal Jackson!
He then jumps on the apron and steps through the ropes. He walks to a corner and climbs up, raising his arms in victory. He then gets down and walks right beside the ring announcer and poses to the crowd by raising his arms in victory. He then finds a corner and waits there for the match to start. 'Kaze Ni Nare' by Ayumi Nakamura begins to play. As the soft tones of her voice move over the stage a hush falls as the Oyabun Gin calmly walks onto the stage, his eyes focused straight ahead at the ring in front of him. He doesn't start moving until the second verse begins as he quickly heads to the ring, walking up the iron steps and moving to the center of the ropes.
Stroup: Next, from Yokohama, Kanegawa, Japan... Oyabun Gin!
He raises his arms up as KAZE NI NARE is roared out over the loudspeakers and from the crowd. He quickly ducks into the ring, wiping his feet on the apron before standing in the center of the ring, bowing his head to it before moving to his corner. Pyros hit and "A Warrior's Call" by Volbeat begins to play as "The Catalyst" Jimmy Allen makes his way to the ring.
Stroup: Coming down the aisle, from Dallas, Texas... "The Catalyst" Jimmy Allen!
Allen passes the lumberjacks and slides into the ring, looking at James, Gin, and Jackson and standing in the fourth corner. The arena goes half-light and a few seconds later “2 Rotten” by Hacktivist starts playing. Suddenly, Killian DeVille appears on the top of the entrance ramp. He looks around staring at the audience that doesn’t seem to feel much empathy for him, before starting his walk towards the ring.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring from London, England… weighing in at 209 pounds… he is The Villain… KILLIAN DEVILLE!
Already in the ringside area, DeVille looks around at the lumberjacks as he climbs up the stairs and enters the ring. Once inside, in the center of the ring, The Villain kneels, close his eyes and opens the arms in a position similar to Jesus Christ as the chorus of the theme song hits the speakers.
“We can just about breathe but we're not alive
The sickness begins, see it in our eyes
Rotten from the inside out
You can shout, you can scream
But in this future world, we bleed”
Then he opens his eyes, muttering inaudible words to the audience. Soon after, the music fades out and he gets off of the ground. Pyros hit and "Buddy Holly" by Weezer begins to play as Charlie Hardin appears on stage and heads toward the ring, the crowd losing themselves for the returning Hardin.
Stroup: Next... standing 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 232 pounds introducing.....CHARLIE HARDIN!!
Charlie continues down aisle and to the ring while the raucous crowd continues to cheer wildly. Right before gets in the ring stop and picking a girl in the front row gives her his glasses before stepping between the ropes looking focused and ready to fight. "No Easy Way Out” by Robert Tepper plays and Iron Butterfly comes out looking like a tiny ball of nervous energy.
Stroup: Next... from Omaha Nebraska, weighing at 115 pounds.......... Iron BUTTERFLY.
She begins her walk down the aisle but is startled by the pyros going off behind her. She clutches her chest from the heart attack she just had and finishes her walk to the ring. She high fives some of the fans before entering the ring and pacing around nervously. Guitar and harmonica begin to blare through the arena, the start of "Gunning For You" sends a silence across the crowd as Nick Nolan's lyrics echo through the arena. The state of Texas appears on the screen, and slowly fades into a highlight video.
My Gun is loaded it's getting time
Two shots of whiskey i'm takin' what's mine
Ain't what you're sayin it's what you do
Your time has come boy i'm Gunnin for You
When hell is rainin down you'll see my face won't hear a sound
You'll feel that bullet burnin through
Take your last breath boy
I'm Gunnin for You
Clayton Byrd steps from the back, clad in his fathers leather vest and with red tights. His right arm is raised in the air, his fist clenched at it's apex. Clay begins his slow walk down the ramp. His eyes are fixed on the ring, and he trudges on. Not paying any notice to any of the fans in attendance.
Stroup: Coming down the aisle... from Plainview, Texas... Clayton Byrd!
There's desperation deep in your eyes
No turnin back now no compromise
Cause only one of us walks out that door
The other bleedin out on the floor
Clay walks up the steps, and climbs into the ring. "Hate Me Now" begins to play as Marquee walks out onto the rampway. Behind him a shower of purple pyro comes from the floor up. At this point Marquee bends down to one knee, points at himself, and shakes his head up and down.
Stroup: And finally... from Miami, Florida... Marquee!
He walks inside the ring and stands in the middle of the crowded ring as he listens to a chorus mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd. His music fades out as the mass of humanity begins staring at each other. Stroup exits the ring and returns to he position at the timekeeper's desk. The lumberjacks are ready... the competitors are ready... the three referees are set.
After some back-and-forth, Jackson gained the upper hand on Gin and nailed him with a tiltawhirl backbreaker, leaving Gin in pain on the mat. Jackson sprung up to the top turnbuckle and put Gin away for the three count with the Street Life Splash.
Byrd dominated Charlie Hardin from the moment the bell rang and left him standing stunned in the middle of the ring. He lifted Hardin up and brought him down hard with a running power slam. But, deciding he wanted to have more fun with it, he lifted Hardin up to his feet. Byrd bounced off of the ropes and laid Hardin out with a decapitating West Texas Lariat. He covered Hardin for the easy one, two, three to eliminate the EWC’s Buddy Holly.
After a valiant effort by Marquee, DeVille began unleashing hellacious kicks to Marquee’s body and head, leaving the FSW call-up stunned in the middle of the ring. DeVille then kicked Marquee in the gut and hooked him up, spiking Marquee into the canvas with the FYL before rolling on top of him into the eliminating pinfall.
James gained the advantage on Jimmy Allen with some of his power moves, including a fisherman buster and a cannonball in the corner. Through a loud chorus of boos, Nick James grabbed Allen and sent him into the ropes, delivering a pop-up powerbomb in the middle of the ring. He got up to play to the crowd, who only boo’d him louder. As he was distracted by the crowd, Iron Butterfly squirmed over to Allen and covered him for the three count.
Bennett: Now THAT was both smart and stupid!
Carter: How so?
Bennett: She eliminated Jimmy Allen and pissed off Nick James at the same time! I think it was more stupid than smart!
Sure enough, James grabs Iron Butterfly and starts screaming at her, asking what she was doing because she stole his pinfall. Terrified, Butterfly backs into the corner. She looks around James, who is continuing to yell at her. She raises a tiny hand up and points behind James. James turns around and is met by a hard West Texas Lariat from Clayton Byrd, nearly taking his head off. He covers James and stares at Butterfly with hatred in his eyes to make sure she doesn’t do anything funny.

Stroup: NICK JAMES HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Aiello: And we are down to four! Killian DeVille, Clayton Byrd, Iron Butterfly, and Jamal Jackson!
Carter: One of these four will face off with the Television Champion at some point down the road. Whether or not it is Amis Shelton remains to be seen!
The camera pans over to Shelton who is seen watching the match intently from his chair, but he looks into the camera and says something about how it doesn’t matter. He won’t be the Television Champion by that time. We look back into the ring at the four competitors, all standing in their own corner. Byrd takes a run at DeVille and tries for a West Texas Lariat. DeVille ducks under it and starts laying kicks into the big man’s side. Jackson ties up with Butterfly, looking to get retribution for last week’s loss. Jackson knees Butterfly in the stomach, doubling her over. She thinks to retreat to the outside of the ring, but remembers that there are lumberjacks waiting. She looks at them nervously for a second, but the hesitation costs her. Jackson comes from behind and tosses her over the top rope and landing hard on the floor right at the feet of Iggy Swango and Carlos Ruiz. Lucky for her, because if it was just about anyone else she may have sustained more damage from the eager lumberjacks. Carlos picks her up off of the ground and checks to see if she is okay. She shoves Carlos off of her and tells her to leave her alone. Swango isn’t as nice, as she grabs Butterfly hard by the hair and tights and rolls her back into the ring. Butterfly looks out at Swango yelling about her hair as Swango shrugs and winks at Butterfly with a sarcastic grin on her face.
Bennett: Now see! She yanked Iron Butterfly’s hair! I’m not a fan of Iron Butterfly, but the lumberjacks shouldn’t be womanhandling the participants!
Carter: All’s fair in a lumberjack match, Steve!
In the opposite corner, Byrd has DeVille locked up in a tree of woe and is laying into DeVille with knees in the gut. Byrd separates from DeVille and goes to the opposite corner. He charges at DeVille, looking to break him in half with a spear. DeVille uses his core strength to pull himself up at the last second, causing Byrd to spear the ring post and land on the outside of the ring. Kendrick Kross and Emma Louise look to pick the big man up to get him back into the ring, but Byrd elbows Kross in the face and lays a haymaker into Louise’s cheek. This causes the rest of the lumberjacks, minus the seven champions in the Main Event, to come over and begin to brawl. Swango and Ruiz charge Byrd. Swango jumps on the big man’s back. Carlos begins laying kicks into Byrd’s stomach. The Limit comes over and nails Ruiz with a double clothesline. Ethan Alexander grabs Swango by the hair and yanks her off of Byrd. Byrd turns around and looks to lay Swango out with a West Texas Lariat. Swango ducks and Byrd nails Alexander with the Lariat! Ruiz is back up to his feet but is drilled by Lights Out for Harambe from Rob Garcia!
Aiello: All hell is breaking loose!
On the other side, Grunge and Sinatra are completely ignoring the actual match at hand and have renewed their rivalry, as Grunge lays Sinatra out with his Singapore cane. Happy runs over and headbutts Rob Garcia in the eye. Garcia grabs his eye in pain.
Garcia: HEY! THAT HURT! WHAT THE HELL! I’M OUT!
Garcia and Noon take off up the ramp, deciding this isn’t worth it. Kyle “Gaurnitierre” just stands there by himself with the axe in his hand watching the whole ordeal. D.J. Frank is pounding on Byrd’s neck as Alexander remains out from the Lariat. Swango, Kross, and Emma Louise spend time trying to separate everybody as the Unholy Two slowly stalks the entire mess. Before they get there, Killian DeVille sprints from across the ring and leaps through the middle ropes, taking everyone out with a suicide dive.
Carter: Killian DeVille just took out about five people! This match is out of control!
Aiello: Max, look!
Jamal Jackson is distracted by the entire event. As he watches on the outside of the ring, Iron Butterfly comes up from behind him and rolls him up, grabbing the tights.

Stroup: JAMAL JACKSON HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Bennett: How the hell? How is she still in this match?!
Carter: She’s surviving, Steve!
The Unholy Two grabs Killian DeVille and rolls him back into the ring. As Jamal Jackson leaves the ring, Iron Butterfly stands on the bottom rope and leans over it, laughing at and taunting Jamal Jackson. He threatens to get back into the ring, but Kendrick Kross has recovered and grabs him, keeping him from getting back into the match.
Elsewhere, Young Sinatra and Anthony Grunge have taken their brawl into the crowd and have disappeared.
The crowd begins to rise to their feet and cheer as the camera quickly pans over to the area by the announcers table. All seven EWC Champions have pushed their way towards each other. Nostalgia, with Brizzie at his side, stares at Ace King. Natalie Young is in a staredown with Amis Shelton. Griffin Hawkins and Xavier Reid exchange some words. Candy stands a little off to the side, trying to remain “sweet.”
Aiello: Good lord! This thing is heating right up! This is a nuclear bomb waiting to erupt!
A sudden boo from the side of the arena by the entrance ramp erupts as, out of nowhere, three men sprint out and attack the Unholy Two.
Carter: What in the world?! That’s Bulletproof! What are they doing here?!
Bennett: I don’t know, but they’re taking the two old dudes out!
During all of the commotion, Killian DeVille is up to his feet and stands behind Iron Butterfly, who is still taunting Jamal Jackson. DeVille taps Butterfly on the shoulder and she suddenly has a nervous look in her eyes. Slowly she turns around and is rewarded with a reverse STO! DeVille rolls over into the Koji Clutch!
Aiello: He calls this The Purge! He’s got it locked in!
Butterfly flails and tries to fight it. The pain is too much for her! She can’t reach the ropes! She taps out!
Stroup: IRON BUTTERFLY HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Carter: We are down to two! Killian DeVille and Clayton Byrd, in their first matches on Monday Night BRAWL, are the only two left!
Aiello: One of these men will have a chance at the Television Championship!
Bennett: Thank God it’s not that Butterfly! He pulled the wings right off of her!
Outside of the ring, the Champions continue their staredown and trash talk. On the other side near the ramp, the two members of Freaks and Geeks, Iggy Swango and Kendrick Kross, have begun a three-way brawl with the Unholy Two and Bulletproof. The three teams, who will face off at Night of Champions, start slugging it up the ramp. Happy and Carlos Ruiz have begun fighting on the outside. Emma Louise has now gone to stand over by Kyle “Gaurnitierre” as the two of them watch the chaos and talk. They both nod their heads as “Gaurnitierre” drops the axe at ringside. They slowly and cautiously walk over to Clayton Byrd and get him to his feet. They roll him into the ring to a massive cheer from the crowd. “Gaurnitierre” raises his arms in the air, as he has done his job properly as a lumberjack. He high-fives Emma Louise and the two stand on the outside of the ring as the only real lumberjacks remaining at ringside.
Aiello: I don’t know what in the hell just happened, but the two remaining men are finally in the ring and well, the rest of the chaos has subsided a bit.
Carter: Unholy Two, Bulletproof, and the Freaks and Geeks have gone to the back, but I hear they’re still fighting.
Bennett: And who in God’s name knows where Young Sinatra and Anthony Grunge went. Those two are off their rockers.
Aiello: Happy and Carlos Ruiz have been escorted to the back as well.
Bennett: I can’t keep up with all of this shit! We still have all of our champions in a massive staredown!
As the Champions continue their staredown, DeVille has jumped at the opportunity and hammers away at the big man. Byrd gets to his feet through the attacks, however, and lands a right to the side of DeVille’s head. DeVille stumbles backwards. As the big man walks towards DeVille, DeVille jumps up and smashes a knee right into Byrd’s face, busting his nose open.
Aiello: And there’s the blood! The referee puts the gloves on.
Bennett: No need to stop the match! Squash him, Byrd!
DeVille jumps on the big man’s back and locks in a sleeper hold. The big man stumbles around a bit, but Byrd quickly falls backwards and drives DeVille right into the mat. He stays on top for a cover.

Aiello: Byrd used all of his weight and tried to end it.
Byrd gets up off of the mat and is now huffing and puffing. He’s angry and he’s decided it’s time to end it. He stands in the corner and waits for DeVille to get to his feet. DeVille finally stands up and turns around. Byrd charges and swings, looking for a West Texas Lariat. DeVille ducks under it and grabs Byrd, looking for the beginning of The Purge. Byrd uses his strength and shoves DeVille off of him. DeVille charges at Byrd and looks for a clothesline of his own, but Byrd ducks it and grabs DeVille in a rear waistlock. He lifts DeVille up and hits a German suplex. DeVille bounces off of the mat. Byrd runs and bounces off of the ropes. As DeVille slowly gets to his feet, Byrd bounces off of the opposite ropes. He charges hard and nails DeVille with the West Texas Lariat! He covers!

Aiello: Clayton Byrd has done it! He has survived eight others and earned himself a shot at the Television Championship!
Bennett: You’re damn right he has!
Carter: But guys… there’s still some commotion going on over here!
The camera pans over to see the Champions are all in each other’s faces now, minus Nostalgia who said screw it and went to the back with Ashley Brizzie. Shelton has even gotten up from his seat and is part of the commotion. He reaches out and yanks at Natalie Young’s Undisputed Championship. This nearly causes a massive brawl, but the nearly dozen officials at ringside keep it from getting out of control. They separate the Champions and the first one they begin to usher to the back is Natalie Young. As she backs towards the ramp, she continues her gaze on the other champions.
Aiello: OH DEAR GOD NO!
Bennett: YES!
The Limit, who has still been at ringside this entire time sitting on the outside of the ring waiting. Has now stood up and is blocking the ramp way. With sadistic looks on their faces, they wait for Natalie Young to get to them.
Aiello: This can’t happen! Not a week away from one of the biggest matches of the year!
Natalie finally backs into Ethan Alexander and turns around quickly. He grabs her by the throat as D.J. Frank begins laughing and screaming at her.
Frank: We took care of your pathetic friends!
Alexander: And now!
Frank: Now! It’s time to take care of YOU!
An eruption from the crowd distracts The Limit long enough for Natalie to kick Alexander right in the sack. He doubles over and Frank goes to lunge at her. Before he can grab her, he’s taken out by a crossbody from Bishop Church! Out of the crowd and off the top of the barricade, he nails Frank and begins body blows. Mike McGuire leaps the barricade with her Louisville Slugger in hand. She drills Alexander in the temple with the bat and knocks him out cold. Natalie Young crouches down and yanks a table out from under the ring, causing a roar from the crowd.
Aiello: The Champ and her friends are looking for payback!
Church and Frank fight up the ramp and to the back. Natalie sets up the table and sets it near the ring apron. Natalie and McGuire lift Alexander’s big body up and onto the ring apron. McGuire climbs up onto the apron herself on one side of Alexander as the sound of Natalie’s coral high heels clanking up the ring steps are heard opposite of McGuire. Natalie reaches the ring apron and stands on the other side of Alexander. The two women lift the big man up to his feet and drape him over the top rope. He slowly starts to stir as McGuire spits a fat loogie in his face and shouts obscenities at him. Natalie gently steps through the ropes and grabs the Undisputed Championship off of the mat that she had slid into the ring. McGuire grabs Alexander by the hair and yells in his face, holding him upright on the ring apron. She looks at Natalie and gives her a nod. Natalie rears back and smashes the Undisputed Championship right into Alexander’s face, busting him wide open and causing him to fall backwards and crash through the table.
Aiello: Good lord! What a shot by the Champ! Folks, we are about out of time! Night of Champions is next Monday! We will see you in Indianapolis!
The crowd roars their approval as “Monster” begins playing. Natalie Young returns her focus to all of the other Champions outside the ring and holds the Undisputed Championship high in the air as the show fades to black.
The crowd roars in approval
Aiello: And here we are with the Main Event. Nine of the newest superstars to the BRAWL brand will compete for a chance to face the EWC Television Champion at some point in the near future!
Stroup: Introducing first, the Lumberjacks!
The camera begins bouncing around the outside of the ring as Jessica Stroup introduces each lumberjack from her list, allowing the crowd their reactions after each introduction.
Stroup: El and Roach, The Unholy Two! Cheers. Ethan Alexander and D.J. Frank, The Limit! Boos. Anthony Grunge! Cheers. Emma Louise! Cheers. New Monday Night BRAWL member Iggy Swango! Cheers. Happy! Boos. Kendrick Kross! Cheers. Young Sinatra! Boos. Carlos Ruiz! Cheers. EWC Tag Team Champion and his manager... Rob Garcia and Jeff Noon! Boos. PRIME Indy Champion... Candy! Cheers. EWC International Champion... Griffin Hawkins! Cheers. EWC Television Champion... Amis Shelton! Boos. FSW Champion... Xavier Reid! Mixed Reaction. EWC X-Division Champion and his Manager... Nostalgia and Ashley Brizzie! Cheers. EWC United States Champion... Ace King! Cheers. And, finally... your EWC Undisputed Heavyweight Champion... Natalie Young! Cheers.
Aiello: This is quite the group for the lumberjacks tonight!
Carter: Every. Single. Champion... in the ENTIRE Extreme Wrestling Corporation is in the house! And seven of them will be facing off next Monday night at Night of Champions!
DING DING DING
This match started off in mass chaos. Gin and Jackson started slugging it out, Hardin and Byrd met in the middle of the ring, DeVille and Marquee went toe-to-toe, and Allen and James battled it out in the battle between the men with four first names. Iron Butterfly crouched into the corner and curled her small body up under the bottom turnbuckle as she watched the chaos. The lumberjacks accosted her reluctance to fight, but the referees assured them they cannot touch her unless her feet were out of the ring.
