Location: Biloxi, Mississippi, Joe's Garage.
With heavy coat on and hood up and heavy winter gear on
Joe Porter got on board his motorcycle and was riding up North to Minnesota, to Saint Paul on his way to visit his running buddy Martin O'Connor who like Joe lived in the great outdoors in a log cabin and was needing help with his second job outside wrestling which was as a professional Lumberjack.
Taking several days to get to his house but he arrived
safely going north.
Location: deep woods, far into the outskirts of St.Paul Minnesota, Log Cabin house of Martin O'Connor.
YO, MARTIN! ITS JOE! YOU READY TO DO THIS?
MARTIN O'CONNOR opens his door and promptly steps outside in the thickness of the snow that just happened late last night and had been happening all the week beginning last Friday and all the weekend through... now it was Tuesday morning and tis about a foot thick.
Joe, good to see you bubba! Yeah I'm ready to go! We got work to do!
He gets an axe and one for Joe and a two person bandsaw as they go to work cutting trees.
so Joe, tell the truth! How are you feeling this morning about brawl and getting revenge on Darius?
With a grunt Joe slams his axe into the base of the first tree and ponders his question.
To tell the truth Marty, I'm getting real sick and tired of people calling me out for being old calling me an old man and shit!
I proved that age is nothing but a number taking Darius to his limits when we both shed blood and went to war. He may have gotten away with the win but he was the first one of many to learn that just because I'm old doesn't mean shit In the Squared Circle.
The opponent ain't gonna take it no easier on you whether you're older than they are or if you're younger than they are and that's just how the hell I like it! NO MERCY GIVEN, NO MERCY ASKED FOR!
You're not fighting a real fight if both of you ain't shedding blood sweat and tears and putting it all on the line in the ring and that's the thing I need to feel in my body in order to feel alive I feel like!
That match woke up the sleeping giant inside me and now for the first time in my life I am riding high and ready to run over anybody stupid enough to get in my way on the road to championship glory just like back in the day and show them what it REALLY MEANS to be a champion and wear that gold around your waist with pride and bring the beatdown on any clown that comes around wanting to challenge you for that strap!
You're no real champion if you won't take on all comers and instead come up with excuses such as they're not in your league and you're better than them in every way possible. I say if you're gonna boast with your bark... you better be willing to prove it with your bite!
Put the damn gold on the line and prove to them and to the world just how right you were all along before your opponent can take the opportunity they have been given in order to prove to you and to the world how WRONG you were all along and leave you a humbled, broken, and humiliated man who once WAS a champion now being forced to watch the other guy celebrate with the title that WAS yours now it's his!
How ya feeling now chump? Open mouth insert foot! Just like a Chihuahua thinking he's Big and bad so he barks like it but coming up against a bigger dog who can tear it apart in seconds without breaking a sweat he either smartens up and runs away or he'll be an idiot and pick a fight and likely wind up in the e.r at the vet!
It all comes down to what kind of person you REALLY are in that ring and out of it.
So to answer your question Marty, Darius and I ain't done yet! Not till I say we're done! I want my revenge and by hook or by crook I'm gonna get what I want! Because I always get what I want one way or another Marty! one way or another!
listening to every word and hanging on to it as they cut down tree after tree before nightfall comes they load the trucks and haul it away to collect their payday.
A grand total of $300,000 split into $150,000 for each.
The two friends high five each other and grin as they head home.
I think I got all the information I could ever need! you're right Joe Age is just a number...not a limit to your ability to fight in the ring and it's time we Diesel Punx prove it to these young Whipper snappers, put them in their place, and made them RESPECT THEIR ELDERS!
We, The people like us and so many others before us who built the foundation upon where they sit on high as they look down from what once upon a time long long ago used to be our seats on top of the mountain at the challengers looking to climb up and challenge them for the right to be called champion in the first place or get knocked back down off the mountain and forced to get in line and try again!
We, the People who started what they're just helping to continue. A little something we old folks like to call the legacy!
he says as he drives them home back to his cabin.
I couldn't have said it better myself Marty!
