Hanks: Welcome back folks .. before we take you to last nights taped Free-Show .. We will head outside where Ace Heart is standing by with Thomas Uriel Bates for yet another Feat of Strength.
The cameras switch to the outside parking lot where we see Captain Morgan Darkwater’s anchor resting on a wooden frame. Ace Heart stands with a microphone and stares up towards the massive Thomas Uriel Bates.
Ace Heart: I’m standing here with tonight’s contender for the EWC International Championship and professional strongman, Thomas Uriel Bates. Mister Bates, what will you be doing tonight?
Thomas Uriel Bates: Thanks to the assistance of Captain Darkwater, I have obtained this fifteen-hundred-pound anchor, and tonight I will be lifting this anchor, and walking as far as I can with it.
Ace Heart: What inspired you to do this feat?
Thomas Uriel Bates: Angus MacAskill, a nearly eight-foot strongman from Nova Scotia, once was taunted by French sailors in, presumably, New Orleans. They dared him to lift the ship’s anchor, which weighed between two thousand and three thousand pounds. He picked up that anchor, and carried it down to the wharf.
Ace Heart: Now this anchor isn’t three thousand pounds, is it?
Thomas Uriel Bates: No, not quite. The anchor ended up injuring Mister MacAskill, causing him physical pain for the rest of his life. This is just, for now anyway, a scaled down version of that tremendous feat.
Ace Heart: In any case, I doubt very many men can say they’ve carried a ship’s anchor. Good luck, Mister Bates.
Thomas Uriel Bates: Thank you.
Bates steps away from Ace Heart, and approaches the wooden frame holding the anchor. With a few short breaths, he bends down, and lifts the anchor in a deadlift. The shank lays across his right shoulder, and he grunts as he begins to slowly step forward.
Ace Heart: That’s one step!
He steps forward again, a little slower.
Ace Heart: Two steps!
A second wind hits Bates, and he lifts the anchor slightly higher, stepping forward two additional steps.
Ace Heart: Three and four!
He struggles with the weight of the anchor, but barely moves his foot forward before releasing the anchor, allowing the stock to catch on the wooden frame.
Ace Heart: Five steps!
Bates rips off his shirt and celebrates with the fans as Ace Heart addresses the camera.
Ace Heart: A tremendous feat tonight. A fifteen-hundred-pound anchor carried for five steps by Thomas Uriel Bates.
The camera goes back to ringside at the commentator’s table.
Mystery Man: Remarkable.
Hanks: Be sure to tune it later tonight for his match for the EWC International Championship.
Mystery Man: And make sure to tune in next Monday Night Brawl for his Test of Strength against Lady Enchantra’s ManThing.

Frankie Harewood VS HoneyH
WHOEVER GRABS THE BAT AND KNOCKS OUT THE OPPONENT WITH IT, WINS THE MATCH
When the bell rang, Frankie was still busy taunting and trashing talk when Honey Hunt rushed right at him, delivering punishing chops to distract him until she could pull him down to the mat with a Calf Slicer. Before she could even lock the hold in, Money managed a thumb to the eye which allowed him to then kick her away from him. The two would get back to their feet with Frankie tagging her with slaps to the ass. She'd attempt to punch him, but was half blinded by the eye gouge and kept missing her shots. A surprise superkick on her part, however, catch him off guard during one of his attempted slaps. He fell back into the ropes and rebounded with a stumble right into Honey's waiting clutches, taking a Headstrong jawbreaker.
She then climbed the pole and reached for the ball bat, only for Money to get back to his feet and yank her by one leg off of the pole. As she got back up, he peppered her with a dirty right hand to the back of the head. Money danced a circle around her, taunting and when she got to her feet, he caught her jaw with another hard slap. His boxing training shown through as she would try to land hits, but he'd duck and weave each shot, laughing and angering her more and more each time while occasionally slapping her in the face. He went for the slap one too many times and Honey ducked it while lunging forward and through the ropes just behind him!
Money turned fast only to be taken down by a tiger feint drop kick to the face! Honey hopped up from the dropkick as Money rolls around. She then climbed the pole, reached out and leaped for the bat, practically ripping the hook off the pole and landing with a bit of a tuck and roll across the mat.
Money got to his feet just in time for Honey to crack him across the skull with the bat. He promptly fell to the mat in a heap, knocked out cold. Honey smirked, tossed the bat down, and flipped him off with both hands.
WINNER BY KNOCKOUT - HONEY HUNT!

INTER-BRAND SINGLES MATCH
Vegas Lawson (FSW) VS JTC (FN'R)
Lawson walked into the match cool, cocky, and extremely confident about his chances. Cross stayed more or less frosty, even as the bell rang. The two circled for a brief moment in a workers walk before locking up. They went through the usual sequence with Lawson taking the high wristlock, to hammerlock, to side headlock, only for Lawson to free himself up and transitioning into an STO and backbreaker on Cross. The recovery was quick and the two locked up again. Side wristlock, to arm wringer flip, to a grounded shoulderlock by Lawson on Cross. Cross flipped forward in the hold and the two rose back to their feet. Cross went for a clothesline, only for Lawson to duck and go for a neckbreaker. Cross escaped it and ran for the ropes, Lawson deciding to do the same in the opposite direction. The two snapped off at roughly the same time and leaped at each other. Cross's knee brace collided with Lawson's gut in mid air, driving the wind from him before he hit the canvas flat on his back.
Back and forth came technical exchanges that saw them both gaining and losing ground throughout the match, the both of them chain wrestling like old pros. When one seemed to have the advantage, the other would suddenly come up with an answer that leveled the playing field right back.
Gradually Lawson began to win the chain game, out pacing Cross until he finally had him up in a Fireman's carry on his shoulders. Before Cross could even answer with the back elbow to the side of the head, Lawson tossed him forward and drilled his knee into the man's jaw, stunning him with the Vegas Nighty Night and falling across Cross's body for the 1-2-3 pinfall victory.
WINNER - VEGAS LAWSON VIA PINFALL!
BACKSTAGE
We find ourselves backstage in the arena as Night Of Champions EVE is well underway delivering a splendid show thus far, when out walks Neo James Carner from the men's locker room. His face beaten with a stoic gaze as he looks primed and ready to showcase his talents with nine other EWC super stars in the Main Event.
NJC: "Can you feel it folks? The excitement in the air? That intangible fancy that collects at the base of your spine then trickles up? The goosebumps, the undying anticipation that comes and cuts you to the bone!?"
Neo grins wide as he starts a casual stride down the long winding hallways of the arena.
NJC: "Me and the boys from BRAWL are well on our way to show the other brands why we are the top tier elite. We're the A+ show where the big boys play! No freaks in masks or losers with spooky fetishes are going to stand in our way!"
Neo grins wide, wider than one has ever seen. Perhaps being in the splendor and glamour of the main event pleases the one known as Neo James Carner.
NJC: "Win or lose...I have an ace up my sleeve for the future. There's a war coming and I'm leading the charge, I'm the man with my finger on the pulse of the oncoming tide. I alone know what the future has in store for me... Tonight..."
Carner let's a wide Cheshire Cat like sm irk spread across his lips.
NJC: "Tonight is just a little demonstration of what I'm capable of...just a fraction though, just a mere fraction of my unrelenting unrepentant full power. I don't want to stop the world's rotation with my awe inspiring might and mettle in the ring! But for a single moment suspended in time..."
Neo James Carner gives a little wink.
NJC: "You'll be captivated!"
Neo grins and then saunters off

10 PERSON INTER-BRAND VS BRAWL TAG TEAM MATCH
ELIMINATION TYPE TAG MATCH - TEAM WITH NO MEMBERS LEFT LOSES THE MATCH

VS
AJ Johnson (MNB), Chase Rex (MNB), Newmann (MNB),
Morgan Darkwater (MNB) & Neo James Carner (MNB)
The match was pure chaos from start to finish. Dicky Zuko was the first person eliminated at the hands of Newmann followed by Lancer thanks to Neo James Carner. Cheyenne was able to eliminate AJ Johnson, while Chase Rex took out one member of the World Breakers only to be taken out by the other member
Cheyenne then proceeded to take out Newmann and James Carner .. while Morgan Darkwater eliminated the other World Breaker. This left Cheyenne and Morgan Darkwater alone in a one on one situation. Cheyenne and Morgan went back and forth in an incredible match that had each of them on the verge of victory
However it was Morgan and is somewhat daring Winds of Fortune move that sealed the victory for Team Brawl
WINNERS: TEAM BRAWL
Mystery Man: What an outstanding free show we had last night, the fans are definitely in appreciation
Hanks: The time has come folks .. if you have not yet signed up for Night of Champions XIV .. your feed is about to end .. for everyone else .. we are about to kick things off with a very special Hall of Fame induction ceremony coming up .. right after this

RING SIDE
Mac: Tonight, in front of all you thousands of fans here at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina .. and the millions upon millions of fans watching world wide .. we will induct a absolute legend into the prestigious Wrestling Hall Of Fame. A man who goes by the name of .. Xplode
The fans continue to chant and cheer as the video montage comes to an end
Mac: Jaden has had arguably one of the greatest Wrestling Careers of any wrestler in the history of our sport. It's damn near impossible to find an accomplishment he doesn't have under his belt. While not always the fan favorite, he always had the respect of the locker room. Xplode was a love him or hate him kind of character, but everyone sure as hell respected his ability in the ring
Consistently he would defy the odds, no matter how heavily stacked against him. He would go on to be our longest reigning EWC Champion of all time, and possibly our greatest champion period
He is a friend, a brother and I am proud to be here tonight .. in front of you all .. to welcome this man into our Hall of Fame. It's been a long time coming, but no one has ever deserved this more then him. It was an honor to have had him on our roster, but it's an even bigger privilege to call him my friend ...
The crowd stands up and claps as the fans in the background scream loudly. A small chant begins to billow from the back of the arena until it becomes overwhelming loud, each voice adding to the volume, as the message is clear. “DESTROYER”, the word unmistakable, is sent loudly towards the stage as three individuals emerge from the darkness from behind the partially concealed backstage area. Dressed in a sharp suit, Xplode steps through the crimson curtain. On his right, Ruthann Hunter smiles as she holds tightly unto his arm. On the other side, Candice Turner smiles, as she holds on to his arm. Both women dazzle the arena as their gorgeous gowns glitter under the rooftop lighting. Reaching the podium, X hugs Candice and she smiles, waving to the fans before heading backstage. Ruthann kisses X on the cheek and then leans into the microphone, grabbing it quickly…
Ruthann Parks: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME… XPLODE!!!
The fans lose it as Ruthann smiles, rallying the arena to a fever pitch! She offers X a kiss on the lips this time before walking away and heading backstage. Xplode clears his throat and looks around the arena, his eyes watering as the fans stand up. All of the EWC locker room, past and present, stand up as well and clap out of appreciation and respect for Xplode. Xplode tries to speak but he is choked up as the applause continues to come his way!
Xplode: (Clears Throat.)
The arena continues to applaud Xplode for a time longer until they slowly sit down one by one. Xplode glances around the arena and looks out into the sea of faces before him. He then looks down at the podium and wipes a tear from his eye. Finally, after an extended pause…. Xplode begins to speak when suddenly the fans chant:
Fans: THANK YOU, X…….. THANK YOU, X…… THANK YOU, X!!!
Xplode wipes away another tear as he looks out into the fans. Nodding his head, he pounds his heart in a show of respect and then gestures for the chants to stop. The fans continue for a brief moment longer, and then they sit down, becoming silent gradually. Clearing his throat once more, Xplode shuffles a handful of papers out of his pocket.
Xplode: I wrote down a few words last night. It’s not easy to wrap up 20 years in under 5 minutes. So, let’s try this another way.
Xplode crinkles the papers into a ball and tosses them over his shoulder. He then looks to his right as Ruthann Hunter emerges once more. In her hands are two EWC Undisputed Championships. She hands them to her husband as the fans whistle in appreciation for her beauty.
Xplode: She is something.. Isn’t she?
Xplode places the titles on the podium and drapes them out so the fans and TV cameras can see them.
Xplode: You know, a lot of people enter this business and make claims to being the best that there is from day one. I was never that way. I knew, from the moment that I stepped into that ring, that I had the talent to be the best. What I did not have was the experience. Luckily, I had a manager that offered that to me…. Terry Jones. I know that he has passed on, but I am positive that he is here today. He told me that I would be a hall of famer once all was said and done. He believed in me from day one, when the world dismissed me as just another loud-mouthed kid with big ambitions. So before I begin, I would like to thank Terry, not just for managing me, but for keeping me focused on what was most important.
Twenty years ago, I entered the business with nothing more than the clothes in my backpack and the reputation of my Father, Rick Hunter. From the start, I was known as “Rick’s boy” or “Rick’s son.” To many, that was a hard thing to live up to. After all, my Father was considered one of the greatest to ever compete in that ring. I knew immediately, early on, that if I were to establish my own legacy, I would need to do it on my own. So, I dropped my last name and adopted the nickname… Xplode. It wasn’t easy to succeed back then. There were a lot of big names in the business and in those days, there weren’t many hands held out to help establish new talent. Regardless, I stayed the course because I saw the bigger picture.
I never was satisfied with being a champion. From day one, my focus was always on eclipsing my Father and becoming the greatest that this sport has ever known. Whether I achieved that or not is up to you all to decide, but I can say that I am satisfied with how things worked out. I worked in many promotions on my way to the EWC, getting it done in all of them. When President Mac came knocking on my door to offer me a shot in the big leagues, I didn’t hesitate one bit. The EWC was and still is the greatest promotion in the sport. To succeed there was to succeed in the industry. There was no greater honor. So, I signed on the dotted line.
I had some huge battles in my first year here to say the least. Some of the legends that you see in that hall of fame, they all taught me a little something along the way. Terry always taught me to be an empty cup, ready to absorb anything from my opponents that helped them succeed. Never stop learning… that’s what he would say. Always work on your game and stay ahead of the curve, that was Terry’s mantra. So, I did. I would like to recognize all of the opponents that I competed against in that first year. None of them made it easy on me. I was just some kid, entering the business with a good track record in the indies. They reminded me of that every week. The message was clear. The only thing that mattered was what took place in the EWC ring. Looking back, I get it. Protect the legacy and you will become part of it.
I didn’t lose the entire year, in my rookie season. Tag Team championship… yup… Derek Wellings. It was an honor to know him and to call him my partner. Derek was on point, man. His talent was easy to see. The two of us got it done and never lost those straps. That was my first achievement in the EWC. Next was the United States Championship. The talent level was primed and ready for the big time that year for that division, and most of those folks would go on to become World Championship competitors. Holding on to that trap was a test of patience, but I would like to think that I did pretty good. It wasn’t until I met that little shit… Mike Corral… that I would eventually lose it and experience my first loss in the EWC. On a serious note, I want to thank Mike. He is a good dude. On that night, he was better than me. Good win. Everyone needs to experience a loss to become a better winner. You can’t coast through your career, expecting to win every damn match. Everyone loses. What matters most is how a person rebounds after that loss. A loss is an opportunity to learn how to improve. It reminds us that we are human and not above the sport. Terry made sure that I knew that.
I didn’t have time to stew on that loss either as the Rumble in the Bronx was about to begin, and I was going to enter it. The entire world tuned in as a young rookie, fresh off of his first loss, stepped into that ring, ready to make history. I tossed out any damn person who stepped before me, and I proved not just to the critics… but to myself.. that I belonged in the EWC. I was now the number one contender for the EWC Title. I had just one obstacle…. JayCee.
Before I begin, I need to make it clear that I have nothing but respect for JayCee. That man pushed me to my limits, every time that we did battle. He is a professional, and sound in that ring. One of the best.. no doubt about that. Him and I were set to do war and the entire world was watching.
Then the EWC closed down. I never got my chance to realize my potential.
Xplode pauses for a moment as the fans begin to boo. Xplode glances around the arena.
Xplode: One of the biggest things that Terry instilled in me was the skill of proper planning. The greatest names in the business from day one all had one thing in common. They carefully planned for every outcome, and positioned themselves to realize their goals regardless of what obstacles came their way. I would not and refused to accept the fact that I as robbed of my legacy. As long as I could remember, as I watched my Father compete in that ring, I dreamed of finally having my time, and being known as the best in the sport. I was not ready to let go of that dream.
I stayed busy, capturing the UWL World Championship during the EWC’s hiatus. It kept me sharp…. And kept me hungry. When the EWC eventually opened it’s doors, I did not hesitate as I signed on.. not as a competitor but as the company’s General Manager. It was not enough to return to the ring in hopes of winning that strap. I needed to make sure that the EWC had the best talent, and that the company was still recognized as the best promotion in the business before I settled on making my dream a reality. So… I did just that.
That year, Mac and I really put on a show. We were killing it, man. I want to recognize Mac right now. During that year, the two of us became as close as brothers. I haven’t had the pleasure of getting too close to anyone during my career. Terry hammered it into me that friends were nothing more than hindrances. They slowed you down. Still, Mac showed me another side of the business. He works his ass off to put the EWC on top, and he deserves that recognition. So, thank you Mac. I also would like to take this moment to recognize Michael Saint. Saint signed me to Rampage when I first entered the EWC. He gave me my first big break. Thank you for believing in me.
The fans and the EWC locker room begin to clap as Xplode nods his head.
Xplode: So, moving forward, once I was happy with where the EWC was at, I moved on to the next phase of my career. During my run as GM, we crowned the FIRST female EWC Champion. Yup.
The Fans applaud.
Xplode: We established multiple brand extensions..
The fans applaud again.
Xplode: There was never a better time to finish my legacy. I returned to the ring. I defeated JayCee and then Tony Savage after to become the EWC Champion. That wasn’t enough though. Not by a long shot. I refused to share the spotlight as the EWC’s top tier titleholder. So, I talked ShadowMan into putting the World Championship on the line in a match that would see the two championships unified for the first time in EWC history. I faced ShadowMan, one of the best talents in history… and I defeated him. I became the EWC’s first Undisputed Champion and rewrote the history books. Now it was only MY name at the top. I made Terry proud on that night and I kept my mind on the bigger picture. There was still much to be done. At this time, I want to recognize ShadowMan. He has also become a brother to me through the years. We may have clashed in the ring repeatedly, but out of the ring, he has always supported me. Thank you.
The fans applaud.
Xplode: I then took that Undisputed Championship and carried it with pride. It was finally my time. I never considered myself above the game. I always kept things realistic. I trained for each match as if it was my first, and I enjoyed the ride along the way. I did not lose a match for almost two years. There is a reason for that. I am going to let you all in on the secret.
Xplode looks around the arena.
Xplode: I never took for granted the opportunities that I was receiving, nor did I forget how much work it took to get there. I always made sure to remember that the EWC didn’t owe me a damn thing. If I wanted to be the best, I needed to continuously earn it. Doing things halfway only portrayed me as a half assed champion. So, I attacked every match as if it was my last, and I made sure to make it memorable each and every damn time. I knew that one day it would all come to an end. There is always someone tougher than you are. It’s unavoidable. Until that person came along, I would be sure to kick as much ass as possible.
So I did. I carried the EWC Undisputed Championship for longer than any past champion in history.
My goal was always to be considered the greatest of all time. I didn’t want to declare it however. I wanted to prove it. These steps were necessary to make that a reality. Again, I was thinking of the bigger picture and putting together a plan that would get me where I wanted to be. It was a hell of a year. Of course, things don’t last forever, and I eventually found the obstacle that I could not overcome… age. All of the wars that I fought I that ring, all of the injuries that I received, they all left a lasting effect on my body. I was slowing down and I knew it. Getting up and kicking out of a three count was getting harder and harder to do. Then… I met Ashton Drake.
The fans begin to cheer instantly upon hearing Drake’s name!!
Xplode: Go ahead… applaud him. He deserves it. Drake turned out to be my last great war. I didn’t have many more miles in that ring, and I new that time was of the essence. The game plan was to retire undefeated as champion. Drake thought differently. He beat me and won the championship. This was a feeling that I was not used to. I should have retired right then… but I needed to know that I could get it done one last time. You see, the greatest champions of days past are not remembered for how long they carried the strap. They are remembered by because of their tenacity… and their willingness to get it done regardless of the obstacles before them. To overcome the odds and win when you really shouldn’t be able to do it, that’s what a champion is. So, I stayed in the game and I won back the title from Drake. That win meant more than any other. That win… that was for me.
The fans applaud.
Xplode: So, that’s that. I want to thank every person that I have come into contact with throughout my career. I want to recognize all of my opponents. I also want to recognize the EWC for allowing me to realize my dreams. Any of you could be standing at this podium one day. Nothing is out of reach. Remember that. The only obstacles that exist are the ones that we create for ourselves. You know, I used to have a saying. It may not be today, it may not be tomorrow.. but I always do what I say I will do. Well, I kept my word. I told everyone that I would be in the hall of fame one day. Here I am. Now…. My story is complete.
I now leave the EWC with the next generation to carry forward. Remember, many people fought in that ring before you, giving their all because they loved what this industry represents. We all worked hard to make the EWC the top promotion in the business. It’s now all of your responsibility to make sure that it stays that way. Do it… or I will return and kick your ass myself.
The fans stand up and cheer as Xplode raises his championship belts!
Xplode: I now return these titles to the EWC. I am going to leave with what matters most…. My legacy.
Xplode hands the titles to President Mac and the two men embrace as the fans cheer loudly! Confetti rains down upon the stage as “The Enemy by Godsmack begins to play! Xplode walks to the end of the stage and waves to the entire arena as the applause continues to come. A long career has finally come to an end. A legacy has been completed. The Destroyer of Worlds will go down in history as an EWC Hall of Famer, enshrined amongst the greats.
Mystery Man: What an incredible moment we just had, its an honor to have Xplode join us in the Hall of Fame
FBI: He is a legend that's for damn sure, and he's earned this shit
Hanks: Looks like there are some annoyed fans on twitter Mystery Man
FBI: Who the fuck cares what twitter has to say? Honestly .. fuck twitter .. fuck the losers that hide behind keyboards and type shit they are too fucking scared to say to someone face. Fucking basement dwelling shit heads
Hanks: Anyways .. some of Ace Kings fan base are upset that you washed over the fact he is in the Main Event
Mystery Man: Oh wow .. well to the fans of Ace King .. that was not my intention at all. As many know, a Drake/Eddie Crank match has been a fan wish match. It's been built up and built and built up since the two of them arrived in the EWC. Especially after Crank captured the X-Division title .. the two names have been linked
Hanks: Makes sense
Mystery Man: However, Ace King deserves to be in that conversation. It's not Crank, Drake featuring Ace .. it's Crank, Ace and Drake all equally deserving of that Main Event. For the first time in a long time, we have a triple threat main event for the EWC Championship that could really go any which way. All three men bring something different to the table, and all three men want this badly. So it was not my intention to down play Ace Kings role in this match, and to his fans I am sorry
Hanks: I am sure they are watching now
FBI: Fucking twitter .. shit .. this world has gone to shit when twitter can actually directly impact someones day to day .. get a fucking life .. hash tag .. fuck off
The camera pulls away from FBI and pans around the excited crowd as they raise banners in respect to their favorite athletes. Of all the banners, the most frequent superstar behind most banners on the night is none other than North Carolina’s very own International champion, Andrew Jackson. And so, it is no surprise when “Take No Prisoner” blasts through the PA system, the crowd lose all sane calmness and roar like the Hurricane that hit the Texas shores on Saturday.
Signs such as “SEAL TEAM 6” and “HE DREW THE TITLE WITH HIS OWN HANDS” are lifted in the air as Jackson walks through the curtains with his title around his waist. He wears his camouflaged khakis and a black t-shirt as he makes his way down and greets the bickering fans with handshakes, high-fives and salutes to those far out of reach.
After enjoying his moment with the audience and even giving out two autographs, the American Hero slides into the ring with his microphone in hand and wastes no time as he begins to speak to his home crowd.
Andrew Jackson: NORTH CAROLINA! WHAT’S UP!!!!
“DREW”
“DREW”
“DREW”
“DREW”
“DREW”
Andrew Jackson: Boy it’s so great that the show finally made it to the home of heroes. We here have given so much, I look amongst the crowd and I see many men and women like me, in your military uniforms, you have served this great nation and for some still do. Much respect to all of you.
The fans cheer loudly, so much so that Jackson has to speak over them.
Andrew Jackson: Tonight, in front of the thousands of you in this arena and the millions at home, I will represent this great state, in the ring, against a man who snaps chains like strands of thread.
Drew goes quiet for a moment as he struts around the ring.
Andrew Jackson: It’s not going to be easy. I have fought 10 matches in a row and won all 10 of them, tonight I can make it 11, this is the longest streak since Drake and Luke Wolfe last year, and tonight will be my toughest challenge thus far. It will be difficult cause lord knows Bates is an absolute monster. But if there is a time and place I can win this match, it will be today in NORTH FREAKIN CAROLINA!
The fans erupt with a pop.
Andrew Jackson: So Bates, you are in my house tonight. BRING IT!
Take No Prisoner by Megadeth returns to the titan tron and Jackson makes his exit as the cameras go to commercials once more.
X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
INTER-BRAND TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Nostalgia VS Harvey Yorke Vs Eddie Crank
INTER-BRAND TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Nostalgia VS Harvey Yorke Vs Eddie Crank
Mystery man: Welcome folks, lets kick off this wild night with a wild match. We got some X-Division action coming your way.
Nina Dobrev: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the X-Division Championship!!!!
‘Game of Thrones’ – Ramin Djawadi echoes throughout the arena for a few seconds before Nostalgia walks onto the ramp from backstage with arms above his head forming an X. As he gets to the center of the stage, he brings his arms down and taps on his chest twice, then throws his arms out before taking a knee. Pyrotechnics explode around him, after a few seconds Nostalgia explodes through the pyrotechnics and raises throws his right fist in the air with pride, giving the fans the chance to notice his black T-shirt displaying Nostalgia sitting on the Iron Throne featured on the hit show Game of Thrones, with a Great Horned Owl on his arm. He jogs down the ramp, hops on the apron, then over the ropes. He walks to the center of the ring walks around peering into the crowd before taking his corner.
Nina Dobrev: Making there way to the ring all the way from Pine Barrens, New Jersey, weighing in at 308 Lbs, the prophet of pain... NOSTALGIAAAAAAAAAAA.......
Mystery Man: Nostalgia will be after a measure of revenge here tonight after losing out in the final of the undisputed tournament on BRAWL to Eddie Crank.
Colin Hanks: It could have been so different for Nostalgia, he could have been main evening Night of Champions tonight!
FBI: Cry me a river.
The intro of ‘Quantum Flux’ echoes around the arena, while the lights dim. Green and white strobe lights flash in-sync with the each note of the guitar.
As the lyrics begin emerges Harvey Yorke, dressed in a black wool coat, with his championship held dangling from his mouth. He bows on one knee, spitting the belt so that it lands in front of him. Xander Healy stands tall behind, as Harvey lets out a yell.
The spotlight becomes brighter, and Yorke gives a cold, forward stare. He and Xander march down the ramp without losing sight of the ring. As he approaches the end of the ramp, he looks around, angrily, at the faces that either love or hate him. Xander stands just outside the ring, as Harvey tosses his coat and title to him. He jumps the ropes, and lands in the ring with his arms held out at his sides, bathing in the reaction from the crowd. He cracks his neck and his knuckles alike, and waits for the bell to ring.
Nina Dobrev: Making there way to the ring from North Yorkshire, England, weighing in at 182 pounds, accompanied to the ring by Xander Healy, he is one half of the EWC word tag team champions, Harvey Yorkeeeeeeeeee!
Mystery Man: Here comes Harvey Yorke, one of the most experienced wrestlers in the entire EWC!
Colin Hanks: ..and one of the craziest.
Mystery Man: Harvey Yorke, much like Nostalgia, was so close to winning the Devils Playground match on Rampage which would have put him in the main event tonight!
FBI: I repeat... cry me a river.
The EWC cameras take us backstage where Eddie Crank, followed by his coach and the rest of his team, is marching towards the entrance as ‘Foggy Dew’ echoes in the arena.
Eddie is prancing around, practicing his footwork as he goes, throwing air punches and having a good time. The Irish in the audience are having an even bigger blast than Eddie is, donning Irish colors and painting the entire arena green, orange and white.
Eddie’s theme switches from ‘Foggy Dew’ to ‘Unchained’ and the crowd goes wilder and wilder by the second while Eddie makes his way to the ring, barely having any space around him thanks to his crew and the Irish fans trying to touch and high five him.
Crank starts circling the ring and talking trash, warming up for the fight with a smile on his face.
Eddie starts shadow boxing and kicking, practicing over his movements and getting nice and limber for the fight.
Dobrev: ....And their opponent, from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at 165 lbs. He is the X-Division champiooonnnnnn......Eddie Crank!
Mystery Man: This is the biggest night of Eddie Cranks career and it all starts here.
Hanks: If he can walk out of Night of Champions tonight with two championships then it'll be the biggest moment of 2017 so far!
FBI: Eddie looks ready as always. Lets get down to the action already. I wanna see a fight!
The three fighters stand in the center of the ring as the referee explains the rules of the match to them. Eddie holds the X-division championship up and talks some smack to both his opponents. Nostalgia backs away to the corner. Eddie and Harvey go head to head. Eddie laughs in Harvey's face and calls him a bitch. Harvey responses by headbutting Eddie hard in the face. Eddie stumbles back as Harvey charges at him. The ref calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Mystery Man: Here we go! The champ and Harvey Yorke wasting no time in beating the crap out of each other.
Harvey grabs Eddie by the hair and headbutts him again in the face but Eddie fires right back with a headbutt of his own. Harvey comes back at him again with another headbutt, and Eddie in return headbutts Harvey again! Both men continue to trade a few more headbutts before they both stumble back slightly, clearly a little dazed and confused. The crowd are going wild!
THIS IS AWESOME... THIS IS AWESOME...
Hanks: The crowd are hitting out with the awesome chants already! This is going to be a crazy night, i can feel it.
FBI: Those Crazy bastards have turned this into a headbutting contest!
Eddie and Harvey both look around at the red hot crowd before they turn there attentions back towards each other and a sadistic smile spreads across both there faces. They both charge at each other but from out of nowhere Nostalgia comes in from the corner and hits a double clothesline on both Harvey and Eddie sending them both crashing to the mat.
Hanks: Damn! Nostalgia just took both of there heads off there! You cannot take your eyes off of this big monster.
Mystery Man: You got to remember Nostalgia is 6 ft 8. He is a literal giant compared to Eddie Crank and Harvey Yorke.
As both Eddie and Harvey get to there feet, Nostalgia grabs both men by there throats. Eddie and Harvey both give each other a quick glance before they simultaneously kick Nostalgia in the groin. As Nostalgia bellows back in pain, Harvey and Eddie again give each other another quick look. Harvey slaps his head and points at Nostalgia, Eddie shrugs his shoulders and gives him a thumbs up before both men take a small run, a jump and they both headbutt Nostalgia in the face. Nostalgia falls against the ropes as both Harvey and Crank rain down on him with kicks and punches to the body.
FBI: Nostalgia might be the biggest man in this match but he's also the least experienced and that's got to count for something.
Harvey elbows Nostalgia in the side of the head and then Eddie catches him with a sharp kick to the mid section. Nostalgia slumps to the floor and rolls out of the ring. Harvey and Eddie turn to each other. Eddie sticks out his hand, Harvey stares at it for a moment before he extends his hand also. Just as both men touch hands they both try and punk each other with elbow shots! Both men clock each other with two hard elbow strikes. Harvey recovers from the strike quick style and from out of nowhere he hits Eddie with a Pele kick! Eddie falls back against the ring ropes, but as quick as flash he bounces back and kicks Harvey straight in the face. Both men fall to the floor.
Mystery Man: That's why Eddie Crank is a champion, he's a cheeky son of bitch but he's got the heart of a lion.
Hanks: What a Pele kick from Harvey Yorke and for Eddie to be able to pull out a kick of his own right after that. It's going to take something special to put either of these men away.
FBI: pfffftt Pele sucks. Eddie should give Harvey the hand of god! A move made famous by Maradona.
Nostalgia appears from beneath the ring apron, and he has a wooden table in his hands, much to the delight of the crowd. The big man slides the table into the ring and then climbs in himself. With Eddie and Harvey still down on the mat, Nostalgia gives them both a few stomps to the body before he picks the table up and sets it up in a corner of the ring.
Mystery Man: Nostalgia has some bad intentions with that table!
FBI: They don't call this the X-Division for nothing.
Nostalgia picks Eddie Crank up and plants him hard on the mat with a spine buster. Nostalgia then turns his attentions to Harvey Yorke who is stirring to his feet. Nostalgia lifts Harvey up with ease and hits him with T-Bone Suplex.
Hanks: The prophet of pain is on fire right now!
With both Eddie and Harvey down, Nostalgia stares at the table that's sitting up in the corner, before the big man lifts Harvey Yorke up on shoulder and carries him towards the table. Nostalgia leans Harvey against the table and then he moves towards Eddie, picking him up and taking him over to the table. Nostalgia leans Eddie against Harvey, both men slumped on the table.
FBI: What on earth is this maniac doing. He's got both Crank and Yorke leaning against that table in the corner!
Nostalgia slowly moves towards the opposite end of the ring, as he turns he taunts the fans who boo and jeer him. Nostalgia stares at the two men who are still slumped in the corner on the table for a moment before he rushes towards them at full speed!!
Hanks: Oh my god!!!!!
Nostalgia launches himself at both men in the corner.... but just as he does so both Eddie and Harvey dive out of the way and Nostalgia goes crashing head first through the table!!!!
Mystery Man: Nostalgia just ate some table!
The chants and cheers from the fans is deafening.
HOLY SH*T...
HOLY SH*T...
HOLY SH*T....
HOLY SH*T...
HOLY SH*T....
Harvey wastes no time, clambering over to Nostalgia and pinning him. The ref counts...
ONE....
TWO....
THR...KICKOUT!
At the last second Eddie dives over and kicks Harvey in the head causing him to break the pin. As Harvey gets to his feet Eddie is right on him, hitting him with the Foggy Dew! Harvey is stunned as he stumbles around the ring Eddie Crank stalks him. Eddie crouches down and as Harvey turns towards him Eddie goes for The Flying Dubliner... but Harvey Yorke dives out of the way before Eddie can connect. Eddie hits the ropes and before he can turn around Harvey grabs him from behind, lifts him up and hits him with the Singin' in the Rain!!!
Mystery Man: Eddie Crank is down and out. Is that all she wrote?!
Harvey pins Eddie as the ref counts.
ONE.....
TWO....
THRE... Crank gets a shoulder up at the last second! Harvey Yorke can't believe it!
Hanks: I thought that was it! I thought we had a new champion!
FBI: Well we don't so sit down and shut up Hanks!
Harvey, clearly frustrated, slides out of the ring and pulls the time keeper off of his chair, before folding the steel chair up and making his way back into the ring. Just as Harvey gets back into the ring with the chair Eddie springs to his feet and launches himself at Harvey who holds the chair up at the last second. Eddie connects with the The Flying Dubliner, his knee smashing straight into the chair which in turn hits Harveys face. Harvey falls to the floor as does Eddie. Harvey is out cold as Eddie holds his knee in pain.
FBI: Harvey Yorke is out cold. This one could be all over!
Mystery Man: Eddie has to make the pin but his knee is in some pain right now.
Eddie pulls himself over to Harvey and flings an arm across his body. The ref counts!
ONE....
TWO....
THR..... Harvey gets his foot on the bottom rope just in the nick of time! The ref breaks the count. Eddie holds his head in disbelief.
Hanks: It's going to take something special for any of these guys to give up! What a match!
As Eddie uses the ropes to pull himself up he sees that Nostalgia has also managed to get to his feet, although still clearly feeling the affects of the table. Eddie leans down and uses his feet to push Harvey out of the ring, then then turns his attentions toward Nostalgia. Eddie gets into a fighting stance and you hear him shout come on then you big bastard let's fookin ave it. Nostalgia gingerly moves toward him, swinging a big arm at the Irishman. Eddie ducks the arm and then pops back up and smashes Nostalgia with a right first and then a left to the side of the face. Nostalgia wobbles on his feet, as if he's ready to fall. Eddie runs off the ropes and comes back at Nostalgia hitting him with a jumping forearm smash to Nostalgias large jaw. Again Nostalgia wobbles and sways from side to side but he doesn't go down. Eddie starts hitting Nostalgia with rapid kicks and punches to the body, trying his best to take the big man off of his feet. Nostalgia drops to one knee. Eddie flips Nostalgia off with the one finger salute .
FBI: That's how the Irish say hello.
Mystery Man: That's how Eddie Crank says hello!
Eddie runs off the ropes and comes back at Nostalgia... suddenly Harvey Yorke comes from nowhere, smashing Eddie in the side of the head with the X-Division belt! Eddie crashes to floor.
Hanks: Harvey Yorke sneaking back into the ring and knocking Eddie into next year with his own championship belt!
Harvey drops the belt and goes to cover Eddie when all of a sudden he is grabbed from behind by Nostalgia. Nostalgia picks Harvey up and hits him with the Catch Phrase! The impact of the move sends Harvey rolling out of the ring. Nostalgia turns his attention to Eddie, picking him and onto his shoulders for a running power-slam, but as he picks Eddie up he doesn't see that Eddie has the X-Division belt in his hands. Eddie, still perched on Nostalgias shoulders smashes him across the head with the belt. Nostalgia crumples to the floor, Eddie falls on top of him. The ref slides down for the count.
One.....
Two.....Nostalgia throws Eddie off of him! Eddie scrambles to his feet and kicks the ropes in frustration.
Mystery Man: The power of Nostalgia! Eddie must be wondering what he's got to do to do to retain his championship title tonight.
FBI: The big guy has been through a table and hit by a championship belt across the noggin.. and he's still fighting! Fair play to Nostalgia.
Eddie quickly moves towards Nostalgia who's trying to get to his feet. Nostalgia grabs Eddie by the throat and with one powerful movement he throws Eddie over the top rope. Eddie falls to the outside, and crashes right into the barricade. Eddie uses the barricade to pull himself up, as he turns Harvey Yorke runs at him. Flinging his body towards Eddie, Harvey crashes into him and they both go flying over the barricade and crashing into some fans on the front row!
FBI: I guess that's why the fans pay the big bucks for front row seats, so they can have a sweaty Irishmen and an Englishmen falling on top of them.
Mystery Man: All we need is a Scotsmen and Welshmen and there's a joke in there somewhere.
Hanks: I'll say one thing, Harvey Yorke has no regard for his own well being or that of anyone else's!
As Eddie and Harvey both get to there feet, some fans around them are clambering to move away while others are going crazy. Harvey throws a right hook at Eddie, but Eddie blocks it and comes back with a left hook to the side of Harvey's face. Harvey collapses back into some more fans who hold him up. A fan offers Eddie a beer. He takes the pint and swigs of it, before spitting it out. Tastes like shite you hear Eddie shout before he pours the rest of pint over Harvey Yorke!!
Mystery Man: This has gotten out of hand, even for an X-Division match.
Hanks: I believe what Eddie did there to Harvey was called a swirling. At least in England it is.
FBI: I bet you've had a few girls do that to you in your time Hanks.
Eddie grabs Harvey, who is drenched in beer, by the hair and throws him back over the barricade. The fans around Eddie are loving this, as he stands on a chair and raising his arms in the air he shouts at the top of his voice I'M THE FOOKIN KING! The whole arena erupts with cheers. Eddie then takes a step from the chair onto the barricade, but as he does this Harvey reaches up and swipes Eddies legs from underneath him. Eddie falls and his back crashes hard onto the barricade. Harvey lifts Eddie up, clutching his arms around the Irishmen's waist. Harvey runs full force towards the steel ring steps, crashing into them, using Eddies body as a human shield. The steps go flying as Eddie and Harvey fall to the floor, Eddie taking the majority of the blow.
Hanks: I don't know if I can take any more of this brutal madness.
Mystery Man: These men are willing to kill each other for glory!
FBI: ..and in Harvey Yorkes case, he's willing to kill himself just for the hell of it.
Hanks: Wait a second, dear lord what is Nostalgia doing?
Nostalgia has made his way up to the top turnbuckle as Eddie and Harvey both start to stir and get to there feet on the outside. Nostalgia eyes both men, who have yet to see the big man on the turnbuckle, he turns his back to them.
FBI: Nostalgias not gonna do what I think he's gonna do! That's a 6 ft 8 308 pound giant up there!
Harvey and Eddie both get to there feet, they see Nostalgia perched above them but it's too late as the big man launches himself off the top turnbuckle and to the outside with his version of a moonsault.. Denial!! Nostalgia lands right on top of Eddie and Harvey who both collapse to the floor in a heap. All three men are down.
Mystery Man: I think Nostalgia might have legitimately just killed Eddie Crank and Harvey Yorke.
Hanks: You got to remember both Crank and Yorke are pulling double duty tonight! Harvey has to defend the tag titles tonight and Eddie is in the main event, I mean what shape are these guys gonna be in?
The ref checks on Eddie and Harvey as Nostalgia tries to get to his feet. Nostalgia picks Harvey up and slides him back into the ring, before following him in. Once in the ring Nostalgia locks his arms around Harvey's waist and plants him with a German Suplex. Keeping his arms firmly locked around Harvey's waist, Nostalgia lifts Harvey up and hits him with another German Suplex. Still not letting go Nostalgia hits a third and then a fourth German Suplex on Harvey Yorke. Harvey is out of the game, but Nostalgia isn't done as the big man doesn't release his grip, he hits a fifth German Suplex on Harvey Yorke. Even the crowd are loving this, counting along with Nostalgia as he hits the suplex!
FBI: I think that's the first time Nostalgias ever been cheered for anything in his life.
Nostalgia is getting tired now, but he goes for a sixth German Suplex on Harvey Yorke. Just as Nostalgia lifts him up Harvey springs to life and locks the Sedative in on Nostalgia! Nostalgia falls to his knees as Harvey applies more pressure to the hold. Nostalgia struggles to break free but fatigue has set in and Harvey laughs maniacally as he wears Nostalgia down. Eddie Crank slides into the ring but Harvey sees him. Releasing Nostalgias from the sedative, Harvey bounces to his feet. Eddie and Harvey come at each other, hitting each other with various kicks and punches to the body head. Eddie blocks Harvey's punch and give him a stiff kick to the leg. Harvey drops to one knee, Eddie goes to elbow Harvey in the head but Harvey puts his hands up blocking Eddies shot. Harvey has a hold of Eddies fingers, as he gets back to his feet he twists and bends them.
Eddie yells out in agony, FOOK ME you little bastard. Harvey bites Eddies fingers as he bends them, trying to snap them off. Eddie headbutts Harvey causing him to release his fingers. Eddie then with one swift move spins around and hits Harvey with a wheel kick to the side of the face. Harvey falls back onto the ropes as Eddie rubs his fingers in pain. Harvey tries to shake the kick off as he comes back at Eddie. Both men again start smashing each other with rights and lefts, kicks and punches. Each blow hitting harder than the last, neither man will give up. The crowd can't get enough as Eddie hits Harvey with a right fist to the side of the body, Harvey responses by delivering a left kick to the side of Eddies body! Both men are exhausted as they stop for a breather, the entire arena gets on there feet and gives both men a round of applause.
Mystery Man: The crowd showing there appreciation here to these two warriors!
Harvey and Eddie both look around the crowd before locking eyes on each other, that sadistic smile again spreads across Harvey's face as Eddie gestures Harvey to come on. Both men again start throwing body blows at each other. Both men trade elbow shots to the head, one after the other. Nostalgia is on his feet, he comes towards the two men, hitting Eddie with a head butt and striking Harvey with a right hand. Eddie kicks Nostalgia in the leg and Harvey elbows him in the jaw. Eddie then slaps Harvey across the face, Harvey laughs and slaps Eddie back. Now all three men start trading punches and kicks!
Mystery Man: These men are giving it everything they've got. Something has to give here!
Nostalgia has had enough as he grabs both men by the throat and with all his strength he lifts them both up and slams both back down hard on the mat with a double choke slam! Harvey rolls out of the ring as Nostalgia pins Eddie.
Mystery Man: I've never seen Nostalgia use a choke slam in his life but we might have a new champion here!
The ref counts...
One...
Two...
Th..... Eddie gets an arm up! Nostalgia bangs the mat in frustration.
Hanks: I thought we had a new champion there but Eddie Crank isn't letting go of the X-Division championship without a fight!
FBI: Eddie Crank is the X-Division!
Nostalgia grabs the referee by the scruff of the neck, shouting at him that it was a three count. Harvey Yorke reaches outside of the ring and pulls the chair he has earlier back in, he gets to his feet and just as Nostalgia turns around Harvey smashes him right on the forehead with the chair. Nostalgia doesn't go down but he is dazed. Harvey swings the chair and it comes crashing down on Nostalgias skull again, but he still doesn't go back. Harvey starts raining chair shots all over Nostalgias body as the big man finally falls to the foor but Harvey doesn't stop as he continues to smash the chair over Nostalgias body.
FBI: They don't call Harvey Yorke the devil of Ultra violence for nothing!
Harvey raises the chair in the air as Xander Healy applauds him from the outside, he receives a mixed reaction from the crowd. As he turns he doesn't see Eddie Crank behind him. Harvey Yorke walks right into the dethroning!!!! Harvey falls to the floor as Eddie quickly pins him. The ref counts...
One....
Two...
Three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DING DING DING
Nina Dobrev: Your winner and still the X-Division champion EDDIE CRANNNNNKKKKKK!
Eddie is handed his X-Division title as he climbs to the top ropes and holds it up high. Harvey Yorke and Nostalgia both still out cold in the ring.
Hanks: Eddie Crank once again showing why he is the champ! What a match! All three men are winners here.
FBI: You have to wonder what shape Eddie will be in going into that main event tonight.
Mystery Man: We just witnessed a match of year candidate right there but that was just the beginning! What does the rest of tonight have in store for us? We will be right back with you folks after a quick break.
BACKSTAGE
As Eddie celebrates a hard-fought, successful title defence, the feed cuts backstage, and the crowd cheers loudly as a focused Ace King watches on a monitor, accompanied by Shelley Silver. They exchange a nod, then Ace puts his Beats headphone on before they walk through the backstage area, passing by a mural depicting many of EWC’s past champions. They briefly stop to admire the artwork, but they’re interrupted.
Ace Heart: A moment of your time?
Shelley looks at him blankly, then taps King on the shoulder to get his attention. He sees Heart, then sighs before putting his headphones around his neck, allowing a snippet of ‘We The People…’ by A Tribe Called Quest to play.
The fog and the smog of news media that logs
False narratives of Gods that came up against the odds
King reaches into his pocket to put the music on pause, then turns his attention to Heart.
Ace King: What can I do you for?
Ace Heart: Uhh…
Ace King: I mean, make it quick.
Ace Heart: OK. Obviously, a big match for the Undisputed Championship tonight. You just saw Eddie retain, meaning you’re the only one going in without a championship-
Ace King: Am I?
As if to make a point, he raises his United States Championship Money in the Bank briefcase, getting the crowd excited. He smirks initially, but after a few seconds, he lowers the briefcase and stares a hole through the interviewer.
Ace King: Well, yes, I will be; no need to get all twisted, Toni. Anyway, as cool as it would be to go into that match with gold, it’s not the one I want tonight. See, I’m ready to prove a point. I’ve heard all the chatter leading into this match; will Drake keep his incredible reign going? Will the Undisputed Championship go to Ireland, the way it’s seemingly been destined to the moment Eddie set foot in EWC? None of the talk’s coming my way, because predictably, nobody’s giving me a chance. But let me make something perfectly clear.
King turns his gaze to the camera as the shot zooms in tight on him.
Ace King: You’re well within your right to doubt me, whether you’re someone on the roster, some big-time wrestling pundit, or even people in the head office. I’ve dealt with it so many times in the last 10 months, but more often than not, I’ve pushed through, and THAT’s what’s gotten me here. I thrive on taking people’s opinions and shoving them back down their throats, and I’m ready to do it again. I’m not here to be an also-ran, I’m here to defy convention and to open people’s eyes.
Shelley tries her best to calm him down, but King’s nostrils flare as his eyes pierce the camera.
Ace King: Anybody out there wanting to overlook me because I’m not on BRAWL? Go ahead. Anybody want to overlook me because I’m not a champion right this second? Fill your goddamn boots. It’s all good, really; it all just makes me fight that much harder. No dress rehearsals; tonight's showtime. I've never been handed ANYTHING in my career; I've EARNED it all. Drake has something I want, and whether it’s him or Eddie in the way at the end, I will stop at NOTHING to stand atop that ladder before the masses as the NEW… Undisputed… Champion. Bet On It.
King’s eyes are nearly bulging out of his head at this point, but at Shelley’s urging, he takes a breath before putting his headphones back on and leaving the shot, as we go to...

FBI: Fuck you all .. I didn't allow shit .. I need a fucking beer .. this is some bull shit right here
Carter: Well here's the BRAWL TV Title in contention tonight. It could either go back to Rampage or stay on Brawl depending on who wins this match up.
Aiello: You have to suspect, however, that Vic Price has stacked the deck in Brawl's favor tonight. Takeshi is up against STEEP odds with Valora Thomas, Cyrus Black, and Kestrel all being Brawlers against one lone Rampage member.
Bennett: I'd do the same thing in his shoes! The TV Belt may not be the biggest belt in the company, it does add to Brawl's already impressive portfolio of success.
Jessica Stroup: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS A FATAL FOURWAY & SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! INTRODUCING FIRST...
"Epic" by Faith No More hits the PA to resounding cheers. At the ten second mark, Takeshi Kaneki emerges on the stage with a towel over his head; to one side is Russel Powers and the other Daichi Muto.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT SIX FEET AND TWO INCHES TALL AND WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY POUNDS.... FROM SHINJUKU, TOKOYO BY WAY OF INABA JAPAN AND ACCOMPANIED BY RUSSEL POWERS AND "THE MANGLER" DAICHI MUTO....
Takeshi proceeds down the ramp with Russel and Daichi in tow. Once at ringside, Russel pulls himself onto the apron and uses his body to hold the ropes open while Takeshi moves to the stairs, onto the apron, and into the ring. Russel released the ropes and dropped to ringside while Daichi put Takeshi through some last-minute warm-ups after pulling the towel from his head once he took to the corner.
Jessica Stroup: "THE WEAPON," TTTTAAAAAKESHI KANNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEKIIIII!!!!
Aiello: Takeshi Kaneki looking focused and intense coming into this match.
Carter: So will his competition tonight.
Jessica Stroup: AND THE SECOND COMPETITOR IN THIS MATCH...
The overhead lights dim as the sound of a chopper flying overhead fills the air, the opening for 'Torture' taking over a few seconds later. As the song kicks into proper gear alongside of Layla Brooklyn Allman's scream, lights of a muted shade of pink and white swirl out over the crowd as smoke rises up through the grating of the rampway, the crowd filling the air with their boos in anticipation for the woman that is about to come out. The song jumps to the chorus as Kestrel emerges from the back, the slender blond thrusting her fists over her head garnering more of that heated reaction… though such is not something that she seems concerned with. Rather, it appears that the gesture is for her own benefit, and hers alone if one goes by the deep breath she takes before she's in motion anew. As she makes her way down the ramp, it becomes readily apparent that she's not paying the crowd much of a reaction at all-- even a brave fan's successful attempt to run his fingers through the long strands of her hair is ignored beyond the faintest flick of her head away from the touch. Climbing the stairs, Kestrel puts her back to the ring ropes as she looks out over the crowd, though it could be argued quite easily that she's looking past them. A subtle shake of her head and she's kicking off the ring apron to flip into the ring, landing lightly on her feet. From there, she merely makes her way over to her corner and waits for the match to begin.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT FIVE FEET AND SEVEN INCHES TALL, AND WEIGHING IN AT ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY FIVE POUNDS....
FROM LAS VEGAS, NEVADA...
KEEESSSSTTTTTRRRRRREEEEEEELLLLLLLL!!!!
Takeshi eyeballs Kestrel from his corner and she looks to him with a withering stare that would break lesser men. The Weapon stands his ground firm and gives her a small nod. She smirks in return.
Aiello: Kestrel has been on an impressive run since her return to The Extreme Wrestling Corporation and Monday Night Brawl.
Carter: Tonight, she looks to continue her path of dominance in the company.
Jessica Stroup: AND THE THIRD COMPETITOR IN THIS MATCH...
The whole arena goes dark for a moment, a spotlight hits the entrance ramp and music plays from the PA system.
"Life is a mystery..."
The silhouette of a man moves into the spotlight, arms raised above his head as he starts to clap.
"And it feels like home..."
The lights go up around the arena, two red pyrotechnics go off at either side of the stage as the chorus hits
"When you call my name
it's like a little prayer..."
Jessica Stroup: HE STANDS AT SIX FEET AND TWO INCHES AND WEIGHS IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY POUNDS...
Cyrus starts clapping as he merrily skips from one side of the entrance ramp to the other, looking out at the sea of fans, goading them to clap along with him. Cyrus makes his way down the entrance ramp, engaging with fans along the way, dishing out high fives and hugs as he jives his way to the ring.
"I'm down on my knees
I want to take you there..."
Jessica Stroup: FROM CARSON CITY, NEVADA...
Sliding underneath the bottom rope into the ring, Cyrus shuffles from one corner buckle to another, continuously banging the palms of his hands together as the fans are on there feet clapping with him,
"Just like a prayer you know,
I'll take you there...".
Cyrus casually leans against the ropes, with a cheesy grin on his face.
Jessica Stroup: CCCCYYYYRRRRUUUUUUSSSSSS BBBBLLLLLLAAAAAACCCCCCCCK!!!
Kestrel and Takeshi both cast glances at Cyrus in the far right corner. He just shrugs and shoots them a smile before shouting, "You guys ready? I'm ready!" Then claps his hands together.
Aiello: Cyrus Black is clearly excited to be here tonight.
Carter: Few have been on the winning streak that Cyrus has been on tonight.
Bennett: Well tonight could be the night it all comes crashing down for C.B.
Carter: Indeed, but now we get to the star of the hour...
Jessica Stroup: AND FINALLY, THE EWC TELEVISION CHAMPION HERSELF....
"Kick In The Teeth" by Papa Roach plays and Valora comes out with her manager, Mick, behind her. As she heads down the aisle toward the ring, Mick remains behind her, giving her last minute instructions and motivational utterings. She runs up the steps, frowning a bit as she notices the usual hands aren't stretched out for her. She enters into the ring and goes about doing some boxing and kicks that "ooooh" and "awe" the fans. As her music dies, she goes to her corner and engages in some more warm up exercises.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT FIVE-EIGHT AND WEIGHING IN AT ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE POUNDS, FROM PHEONIX, ARIZONA....
VALORA THOMAS!!!!
Immediately three out of four competitors converge in the middle of the ring, Valora, Cyrus, and Takeshi, while Kestrel hangs back a bit with a smirk, trying to figure out which target she is going to pick off first...
Carter: The ref is in the ring and ready to go!!!
DING DING DING!
The three of them exchange knowing nods and then turn towards Kestrel. Immediately the blond vixen's black eye-shadowed eyes narrow. The three of them slowly move in towards the most vicious woman in the match and she slowly backs herself into her corner. Valora barks orders at Takeshi and Cyrus, "DESTROY HER!"
Carter: What's this now....?
Bennett: THEY'RE WORKING TOGETHER?!
Immediately the three of them rush at Kestrel, who answers with a direct hard punch right in Valora's face that sends her staggering, followed immediately by a stomp to Cyrus's knee and a hard gut kick to Takeshi that's promptly followed up with an improvised jawbreaker.
Aiello: Kestrel is valiantly fighting them off for everything she's worth!
Bennett: Smart move by the champ to turn her competition into allies, but Kes is fighting them off like a savage!
A surprise kick to the jaw by Valora drops Kestrel down in the corner and the three of them immediately converge on her, putting the boots to her. She thrashes violently with each hit, trying to cover up, but unable to block so many feet coming at her at once! The referee immediately moves in, trying to force them away. Valora instead backs him up, roaring at him, "WE ARE DOING EWC A FAVOR HERE! BACK OFF!"
Carter: I honestly don't see why these people would be working together. It flies in the face of who they are to the fans.
Bennett: Valora Thomas wisely stopped caring what people thought of her the moment Hope Diamond scrambled her brains. She realized what being a goodie goodie gets you in the ring. Now she just has to own that new image of hers and she'll be set. A real alpha bitch doesn't pretend to be anything but what she is.
Valora barks orders at Takeshi & Cyrus, "PICK THAT PIECE OF TRASH UP!" And they do so. Valora bounces back and then hops forward, slapping her thigh as her foot connects with Kestrel's jaw via a superkick, snapping her head back and dropping her to the canvas in a heap. Valora immediately jumps up, clapping her hands like a giddy little schoolgirl and grinning ear to ear.
Aiello: You know, I'm shocked by this. I could understand Val being on edge, no-more Mr. Nice Girl, all that jazz. This is something more akin to what Victor Price would pull if he were in this match up.
Bennett: Don't let him hear you say that. The Boss is the bravest, strongest, and smartest man in the building and you want to know why? Because his checkbook says so. That's why.
Valora points down at Kestral, ordering Takeshi to do something. Cyrus looks back and forth between the two, uncertain as to what to do. "The Weapon" promptly disagrees with her and the two enter into a bit of an argument right there in the ring.
Carter: Maybe we all spoke too soon about this suddenly fragile alliance as Takeshi Kaneki isn't too keen on whatever Valora is trying to sell him on....
"WE HAD A DEAL, TAKESHI! DO AS I SAY DAMNIT! I'M THE TV CHAMP!" He shouts back, "NOT FOR LONG!" and faster than Valora can react, Takeshi fires off a spinning Rocket Kick right into her jaw with enough force to send her staggering back and flailing through the ropes to the floor! He promptly turns and begins trading shots with Cyrus Black!
Bennett: HELLO!!! Good call, Carter, because that Alliance just went the way of the Dodo.
Carter: Takeshi wasting not even a millisecond as he takes the Champion out in one Rocket Kick out of nowhere and he and Cyrus Black are trading shots. Cyrus catching the arm and sending Takeshi for a ride now!
Takeshi is sent for the ropes, only to be stopped midway by Kestrel catching him with a single knee facebreaker. She bounces to her feet and see's Valora on the ropes. Picking her shots, she hops forward with a vicious slap to Valora's face, followed by a neck snap over the rope that sends Valora right back to the arena floor in a heap!
Carter: Kestrel ain't playin' around here either!
While Takeshi uses the ropes to get to his feet, Cyrus comes up from behind on Kestrel and locks on a rear waistlock right at the ropes. Thinking fast, she doesn't grab the ropes but instead kicks her foot off the second rope and upon release of the German Suplex, this sends her high up in the air. She twists and turns, landing on her feet and ready while Cyrus was still getting up. The result? A low orbit flip neckbreaker just as he sits up.
Bennett: YEAH!!! That was nice!
Aiello: Kestrel started out getting beat up, but she's proving that she can take a beating and keep going!
She gets on her feet and narrowly ducks a running forearm shot. He stops and turns just in time to be taken out by a solid chop block that drills him straight to the canvas! As Kestrel rises up just in time to see Valora Thomas slingshot over the top rope with a corkscrew bodysplash driving Kes to the canvas!
Carter: And the Champ is right back in it!
Cyrus, meanwhile, was on his feet in the nearby corner, clutching his neck as he watched and waited for Kestrel and yet instead Valora became his target. As Val raises from the prone form of Kestrel, Cyrus hops onto the middle rope and flies off, catching Valora off gaurd with a front facelock in midair. On the way down he turns it into a Bulldog DDT called-
Aiello: CYRUS BLACK WITH THE LUCKY STAR ON VALORA!!!
He immediately attempts a pinfall with everyone recovering or momentarily down...
ONE!!!!
TWO!!!!
TTTTTHHHHRRRRRE-BREAKUP!!!
Immediately Takeshi drops the axehandle on Cyrus's back, breaking up the hold. He then gathers Cyrus up and pulls him into a headlock. Takeshi spins around and rocks him off his feet with a standing lariat into a backbreaker! Meanwhile, Kestrel stays back, crouched and ready. As Valora gets to her feet, rubbing at her forehead and a little dazed from that steep DDT plant, she finds her skull connecting with Takeshi's with such a violent impact that she just crumples to the mat. The impact hit with such force that both Takeshi and Valora were split open. Takeshi stands there, glaring down at the crowd....
Bennett: We've seen this before! Good God what a headbutt!
Aiello: Takeshi has the hardest skull in EWC and Valora Thomas just learned that in the most painful way possible.
Carter: She could very well be concussed here. Takeshi clearly feeling his own headbutt as well.
Kestrel takes full advantage of his momentarily dazed state, however, catching him by the leg and whipping Takeshi off his feet with a dragonscrew right into her take on the Nagata Lock!
Aiello: Kestrel has the Grounding Vines locked in and Takeshi now doing everything in his power to break this hold!
As the Ref moves in close to check on Takeshi and ask the questions, Kestrel grips the ropes to give her more leverage and inflict even more damage! Anytime the ref even turns his head towards her, she releases the rope, only to grab it again once he goes back to Takeshi.
Carter: Kestrel working hard on taking out the legs of Takeshi and make him tap out here. Valora Thomas is fighting to get to her feet, but Cyrus Black is up first!
Cyrus, seeing the situation, rushes in and issues a few hard stomps to Kestrel's legs and sides in order to break up the hold. Kestrel promptly rolls out of the ring, clutching at her side. Cyrus falls back into the ropes, his hand to his pained back from the backbreaker before. Takeshi pulls himself up on the ropes with shakey legs after the prolongued time in the Naga Lock. He doesn't even notice the small streak of blood running down the side of his face from the headbutt to Valora earlier.
Aiello: This match has been a real fast paced battle with some big moves taking their tolls on each of these competitors tonight!
Valora gets to her feet, her face a crimson mask as she looks over at Cyrus. He comes off the ropes at her, only for her to catch him with a spinning back kick to the gut, followed by a mid roundhouse to the face as he doubled over that sends him spinning to the canvas. It was no more Ms. Nice Thomas now. She promptly rushes in on Takeshi as he pushes off the ropes, viciously attacking his legs with low kicks to the shin and outside of the knee, immediately followed by a leaping 720 spin roundhouse kick to the side of his head that sends him over the ropes and falling onto the apron! Valora immediarely roars out at the crowd, "YYYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"
Carter: The Champ showing why she's the champ, with a mask of crimson red on her face and vengeance in her eyes!
What she fails to notice, however, is Kestrel climbing up on the Apron. As soon as Valora turns, Kestrel slingshots herself up and over with a floating neckbreaker, taking Valora down in an instant. Kestrel promptly gets to her feet, pulling Valora up with her and executes the '68 Comeback Special, hitting a kneeling rear neck breaker, followed by a sharp snap DDT and going for a pinfall...
Aiello: The Snagging Creance and a pinfall!!!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!
TTTTHHHHRRRRRRRE-*BREAKUP!*
This time Cyrus manages to drop both elbows on the back of Kestrel, breaking up the pin attempt. Kestrel's lip twitches with anger as she rolls herself out of the heap of bodies. Cyrus gets to his feet along with her and catches her with a chop across the chest, followed by an Irish whip across the ring. He backs up into the ropes and fails to notice Takeshi on the floor and waiting right there. Suddenly his feet are pulled out from under him. Kestrel, in a mid counter winds up leaping at open air and through the ropes, almost knocking Takeshi awkwardly off his feet. She struggles as he positions her into scoop hold and runs straight for the nearest turnpost. Kestrel lets out a sharp cry as he slams her back against the ringpost and slings her to the floor!
Bennett: Damn! That almost ended badly for My Man, "The Weapon!"
Carter: He may have just broken Kestrel in half with that slam against the turnpost!
Back in the ring, Cyrus gets to his feet, clutching at his jaw as it had clipped the canvas when he got pulled off his feet. As Takeshi gathers up Kestrel outside the ring, Cyrus decides to focus on the rapidly recovering Valora Thomas instead. With her back turned to him, he rushes in, crosses her arms around her waist, slips his head between her legs, and back lifts right into a bridging Queen Suplex pin!
Aiello: LA ISLA BONITA ON VALORA THOMAS!!!
Carter: Everyone's trying to take out the champ here tonight!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!!-*PULLED INTO THE ROPES!*
After flinging Kestrel onto the spanish announce table, Takeshi quickly reaches through the ropes and pulls Cyrus's legs into them, effectively breaking up the pin attempt!
Aiello: Nice save by Takeshi and the match continues on!
Kestrel rolls off the announce table as Cyrus is fully pulled out of the ring by Takeshi. The two promptly begin trading shots back and forth, blow for blow. Takeshi shoves Cyrus at the table and rushes in at him, only for Cyrus to duck down, catch him by the waist and hit a steep Belly to Belly Suplex that drives Takeshi through the Spanish Announce Table!
Carter: Those Spanish Announcers just can't seem to get a break, can they?
Bennett: Their tables sure seem to get alotta' breaks though!
Aiello: *Unintentionally snickers* Sorry guys, it sucks. They'll get you another table soon!
Back in the ring a dazed and slightly disoriented Valora Thomas gets to her feet. Kestrel, meanwhile, slid in right behind her as she gets to her feet and goes for a grapple. Immediately on instinct, Valora drives her back into the corner for a hard slam into the turnbuckles, followed by a few choice elbow shots to free herself. She then steps forward and drive's Ninja Kick right into Kestrel's jaw that's immediately followed by a rollup into a pinfall!
ONE!!!!
TWO-KICKOUT!!!
Carter: Cyrus slides into the ring for the save, but Kestrel manages to throw a shoulder up! Valora immediately questioning the ref's call.
The ref shrugs his shoulders and holds up two fingers at an arguing Valora Thomas, then points over her shoulder. Immediately she rises to a full stand and turns in time to see Cyrus blow her a kiss before rocking her off her feet with a high standing dropkick to the chest! As soon as he gets back to his feet, he turns in time to see Takeshi Kaneki on the top rope and leaping through the air with a Flying Shining Wizard, cracking Cyrus right in the jaw and sending him to the canvas clutching his face and kicking his legs! Immediately Takeshi drops on him for a pin attempt!
ONE!!!
TWO-*BROKEN UP!*
Valora Thomas drives a hard chop right into Takeshi's back to break up the pinfall, then pulls him up off of Cyrus. She promptly hits him with kick after kick to the shins and ribs, driving him back bit by bit. Behind them, Kestrel gathers Cyrus up and shoves him into the ropes, locking him up with a rope assisted Hammerlock!
She finishes her flurry of kicks on Takeshi with a second Nat 20 Roundhouse kick that sends him spinning to the canvas! She then moves in on Kestrel from behind, catches her with a Karate Chop to the back of the neck, forcing her to release Cyrus from the Rope assisted hammerlock, then spins her around to deliver a spinning backfist to the face and finishing up with a palm strike that rocks Kestrel off her feet. Blood runs from her potentially broken nose as a result.
Carter: The Champ is cleaning house here!!!
Immediately Valora is taken off her feet in a rollup pin attempt by Takeshi, but she manages to adjust in mid roll, rolling him right into an even tighter small package pin!
Aiello: Valora Reverses the attempt by Takeshi into a full on Small Package!
Takeshi struggles in the hold...
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTTTHHHHHRRRRREEEEE!!!!
He powers out at the last second but it's too little too late!
DING DING DING!
Jessica Stroup: YOUR WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL THE EWC TELEVISION CHAMPION.... VALORA THOMAS!!!
Carter: Valora Thomas picks up the win and manages to keep her title tonight!
As she leans in the ropes, holding the freshly retained title clutched to her chest, Kestrel moves in from behind and immediately pulls her into what looked as if it was going to be a Kimura lock, but instead, turned into the Omoplata shoulder lock that Kestrel named-
Aiello: KESTREL HAS VALORA IN THE BROKEN WINGS!!!
Bennett: She's lookin' to break her arm and her shoulder!
Valora screams and screams as Kestrel has her at her mercy, the referee trying to pull her from Valora's body. Eventually the TV Champ stops screaming, blacking out from sheer agony as her shoulder separates from it's socket. Kestrel releases the hold and back rolls to her feet. The Referee mentions fines and penalties and she merely shoves him back and exits the ring. The EMTs rushes past her with a couple of assistants to help Valora...
Carter: What a situation .. that's it for us .. we turn the show back over to Mystery Man, FBI and Colin Hanks
FBI: Fuck you Carter
Hanks: Lets check out whats happening backstage folks
BACKSTAGE
Ace Heart rounds a corner followed by his camera man when he bumps into the chest of a man who looks like a bank vault in a suit. The suit moves forward maneuvering the EWC news anchor and interviewer around like a little kid into a specific direction.
Hope Diamond:Terrific to meet you Mister Ace! I was just looking for you.
Diamond is already dressed for her match in black spandex and leather and accompanied by a man who wears black as well but Armani style. He´s built much slimmer than the freight train shoving Ace Heart in Hope´s direction and covers his eyes with sun glasses.
Ace Heart:Umpf!
Hope Diamond:You wanted to know what it would mean for the Future Star of Wrestling brand and the other EWC brands if I win the belt tonight, right?
Ace Heart:Actually I was going to …
Hope Diamond:What it will mean is most of all a lot more fun of thrill. Can´t say I care much about the fans but if I draw a crowd I get a nice bonus on my pay check so with me being the FSW champion the dull times are over. The whole blabla about whether FSW is a development territory or not will be over. It will be THE development territory where I take the fight to the other brands. If you want to know if I´m capable of that ask one … what was he name again … Miss Valora Thomas. FSW will finally be on the map because I will draw that map.
?:And what kind of map would that be?
At the sound of those words both Ace heart and the suit turns one direction then another, wanting to know where that voice has come from. Suddenly Otaki emerges...upside down! Ace, Hope and her heavy were all by some kind of apparatus and the FSW Champion herself, with said Championship around her waist, is hanging upside down and the revelation of this made the interviewer jump in shock. However the milky skinned competitor simply smiled in an almost innocent manner.
Otaki:Seriously, I really want to know what kind of map a coward could draw.
However when it seems that Hope was going to speak up The Emo Princess suddenly shoots her hand out and stops it, having an upside palm face Hope's own face in a relatively rude manner of telling her to not speak.
Otaki:One second, I've had enough of hearing you speak for now...
The Purple Haired Dynamo's words trail off when the heavy slowly pushes her hand away, which prompted the Champion to slowly move her hand up, or in her case down, and slip the male's shades. Slight confusion can be seen on his face for a mere moment until Otaki suddenly sprays a red mist directly into his eyes. This causes the male to squeal in pure anguish as he rolls about on the floor as, instead of looking concerned the bizarre Champion slips the shades on her own face and smiles in glee.
Otaki:Now these definitely suit me...not as much as the FSW Champion suits staying around my waist after Night of Champions tomorrow but what do you think?
?:I think they're cute...
Both women turn in the direction of yet another voice and find the young Magdalena Lockheart just as she's walking into frame. The dainty, petite girl smiles as she walks right up to the upside-down Otaki to get right in her face. Hope, feeling slighted, grabs Maggie by her hurt left shoulder and spins her around. Maggie and Hope spend a moment face to face, with Otaki sliding in between them from above the two girls.
Maggie Lockheart:Don't mind me. I overheard you saying something about cowards and I just thought I'd warm up this whole "jumping into people's interviews" thing that you do sooo well. It's kind of fun really... I'm going to have to keep it up when I take your championship belt tonight. Don't worry though... I'll let you keep the shades.
Hope Diamond:You can have a death match over the shades. The belt goes elsewhere. Oh and Otaki, I might be a coward in your eyes but I would not be so dumb as to spray my Red Mist around BEFORE a match.
She studies the whimpering man with detached interest.
Hope Diamond:Now go wash your eyes out. It´s going to be a long night for all of us.
As the suit stumbles away Hope turns her attention back to Otaki.
Hope Diamond:Did you date Spiderman lately or are you just practicing a new perspective on life for the time after your championship?
However, instead of answering straight away, the Champion simply rocks her head from side to side, almost lost in some kind of self-imposed bliss.
Otaki:Spiderman, Spiderman, does whatever a spider can...
Sings out the milky skinned woman's mouth before a smile appears upon her face once more.
Otaki:While dating Spiderman would be amazing, we're neither doing that nor looking for a new perspective...however a little perspective could be quite an useful thing to have. Like, Hope, how is Caleb? Are you sure that you'll be able to focus on our little game? And Maggie...
The young Brit looks over towards the younger of her two challengers.
Otaki:How is your arm? Hopefully you ain't planning on using that-
She glances back towards Hope.
Otaki:-or being preoccupied as an excuse when we're the one who'll leave tonight as Champion.
The corners of Maggie's lips turn upward while her eyes look away. She lightly stretches her left shoulder as she responds.
Maggie Lockheart: I wouldn't... dream... of it. Excuses aren't really my thing. Maybe you can tell me... whats your excuse for allowing Ash Quid to put a bounty on you? And you, Hope, whats your excuse for suddenly giving a damn about Future Stars in the weeks leading up to your championship match, hmm? Who exactly is it that you're trying to impress anyway?
For a moment, it seems as if the three female competitors won't wait until their scheduled match later on tonight to tear each other limb from limb.
Maggie Lockheart: Besides, who needs excuses when it's much easier to just make Night of Champions MY night? I told you both several times that I am the FUTURE of this business. And I don't need Chelsea Hopeless, and I sure as hell don't need the Purple Haired Victim's approval in any of this. Tonight, I stand in the ring alone... and I'm perfectly okay with that.
Hope Diamond:My excuse for suddenly giving a damn about Future Stars? That excuse is simple. I give a damn about me and Future Stars is just along for the ride. Some of my glory will rub off and since I will continue to make a name for myself I will make a name for FSW too. It´s not about caring. It´s more like I will not be able to avoid it. That is becasue the future is already here and it does not have blue or purple hair. Ladies, your claim for this belt is as ridiculous as your hair jobs.
The scene quickly fades out as all three ladies tense up.
MORE BACKSTAGE
From a quiet corner in the backstage area of the Greensboro Coliseum, Nevaeh is seen sitting before the camera with the Indy Championship in her lap.
NEVAEH: So over the last few days, I’ve been giving some thought to something Stitches said on the last Prime.
Nev pauses momentarily.
NEVAEH: I get one up on you, you get one up on me, and it doesn’t stop until someone puts an end to this little game. Well, tonight I do exactly that.
Nev smirks.
NEVAEH: It won’t be long until I show everyone that you were never worthy of the Indy Championship in the first place. I know you don’t want to believe that. But I’m going to prove it.
Nev lifts the Indy Championship up before the camera as she stares into it.
NEVAEH: I didn’t bust my ass to get this just so I could turn around and lose it to the likes of you in my first defense. No matter how much you wish it, that’s not the way this is going to go. Instead, you are going to ‘Fall from Grace’. But not til I’m good and ready.
Her tone is serious as she continues.
NEVAEH: You are going to suffer first. The way I see it you brought this on yourself. Maybe you’ll think your actions through next time. Because there’s always consequences for everything you do!
Nev seethes.
NEVAEH: Looks like you are going to have to learn that lesson the hard way when I walk into Night of Champions as the Indy Champion and come out the same way.
Nev pushes up to her feet with a confident look.
NEVAEH: See you out there!
And with that, she goes walking out of view.
INDY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Stitches The Clown VS Heaven "Nevaeh" Leigh
As the beat drops at around the thirty seven second mark the curtains are brushed to the side, smoke spewing out from behind the curtains, and out walks Stitches. A wide, red-painted Chelsea-esque grin is across the face of Stitches as he stares out at the crowd of people before him.
Nina Debrov: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Indy Championship. Introducing first, from New Orleans Louisiana, the challenger, STITCHES THE CLOWN!
Stitches methodically makes his way down the ramp, staring down the crowd members who dare lean too far over the crowd barricade. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he stops and once again looks out at the crowd of people before him. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide for the crowd to embrace him. As expected, the crowd does not embrace a sinister-looking clown.
Stitches hops down from the rope and enters into the ring before approaching the nearby corner of the ring. Stitches turns around, facing the center of the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
Once "Gasoline" by Porcelain and the Tramps is heard, Nevaeh comes walking out from the back with the Indy championship strapped around her waist. She is greeted with a chorus of boos. But judging by the smile on her face she doesn't seem to mind. As she makes her way down the aisle, Nevaeh does her best not to let anyone touch her long the way.
Nina Dobrev: "Coming to the ring from Las Vegas, Nevada, this is your Indy champion...NEEEEAVEAHHHHHH!"
After walking up on the ring apron, Nevaeh will strike a pose and give her backside a little shake before stepping between the ropes. Once inside, she mouths off a bit as she unfastens the championship from her waist and shows it off to the crowd as she waits for the match to begin. does it change the way you come out? If so, Write it exactly as you want it posted
The referee explains the rules to the athletes who are revving to get their hands on each other, both very animated and ready to take the fight to each other. Once the referee is done with the rules he calls for the bell.
DING DING DING!!!
Mystery Man: This match has all the makings of an instant classic, both athletes have been at each other’s necks for a while
FBI: That they have. This is the second time both of them are going at it, the first time, Stitches came out on top, now, he will be hoping to do it again when it really counts.
Hanks: Well, Nevaeh it can be argued she is not the same person he beat then, she has grown as a fighter since then, her decision making has improved
Mystery Man: I agree with that. And we are off.
Nevaeh and Stitches lock into a grapple and both tussle for control, Stitches comes out on top quite easily and forces her into the corner where he applies pressure to her neck before slapping her across the chest leaving his palm printed in bold red. The move is followed by a repetition and then an Irish whip to the opposite turnbuckle which she crashes hard and falls on her face to the mat. Stitches continues his early onslaught on the champion by stomping her unprotected fingers, causing the champ to cry out in agony. He brings Nevaeh to her feet and nails her with a snap suplex and then follows with an elbow drop.
Mystery Man: Stitches did not come here to clown around boys
FBI: No, he didn’t, we expected a close fight but so far Stitches has been dominating, quite impressive if you ask me.
Hanks: No need, that is impressive by any standard, she is the biggest athlete on Prime, and so far, Stitches has managed to pick her apart.
Stitches brings Nevaeh to her feet and then nails her with a kick to the midsection, his plan simple, a head scissors is in order. As he bounces off the ropes and returns with the move, Nevaeh gets her head out of the way and then generously gifts him with a three-hit punch combo, which she then follows up with a Northern Light suplex. The move and punishment she has received up to this point was enough to keep her down as well as she catches her breath.
Both superstars take a minute to get up but the referee gives them the grace of not counting them out as they struggle to their feet. They eventually find theirs in unison and begin sharing right hands. By the fifth lap Nevaeh gains the advantage on the exchange by driving her punch into Stitches throat and then following up with an Enziguiri which whips him to his knees with his neck against the second rope. Nevaeh has never been one to pass up an advantageous situation and she isn’t going to start now. She drops her knees in his back and applies the pressure against the ropes choking the clown as he squirms for air. The referee isn’t having any of it so he begins the count to disqualify her.

FBI: Nevaeh really meant it when she said she doesn’t care how she wins
Hanks: Xplode didn’t, and he’s getting inducted into the hall of fame today, I don’t see why anyone should
Mystery Man: Honestly, it depends on how you want to be remembered and what examples you want to set.
Hank: F all of that, Xplode was the villain his entire career, today the fans chant his name. Good, bad, they are all serving the people, and at the end of the road, they may not have liked the way you did it but damn well they will respect it!
Nevaeh lets go of Stitches who falls to the ground clutching his neck. She sees the opportunity to put Stitches out of commission and she takes it. The Indy champion climbs the top turnbuckle and stalks her prey as he tussles in pain. As Stitches finally finds his feet she leaps off the top turnbuckle and is caught midair and SLAMMED into the mat with a sit-out powerbomb. The fans immediately go into a state of shock, even the referee finds it hard to remain unshaken by the surprising reversal.
“HOLY SHIT”
“HOLY SHIT”
“HOLY SHIT”

Mystery Man: If there is a god, he wouldn’t allow men use moves like that! Holy Moses Nevaeh is out
Hanks: I…I don’t…

Kick Out!
FBI: What?!!!
Mystery Man: I don’t know how she did it but that is impossible
Hanks: Apparently its possible cause the champ just did it. He will have to try harder than that to take that strap from her.
Stitches can’t believe it as he relaxes his head on his hands which rest upon his only elevated knee. He looks around at the shocked audience, he is not alone in his astonishment. He picks Nevaeh up dishes two punches into the face of the weakened champion and then nails her with his finisher... The sound of Silence.
Mystery Man: This is not a wrestling match anymore! This man hates the champ so much that he is willing to kill her to tear that title off her.
FBI: Well, if there is one move in his arsenal that can do that, we just saw it, and boy does it look painful.
Stitches goes for the pin again, surely this time it’s over.

Kick Out!
Mystery Man: This is insane, how?!
Nevaeh surely isn’t willing to give up the title easily. Stitches sits on the mat next to her immobile body and ponders on his options, what can he do that will certainly turn off her lights for good. He uses the ropes to pick himself up and a dazed and confused Nevaeh does the same but exponentially slower. He stalks her and once she finds her feet he charges at her with a clothesline from hell. Nevaeh side-steps the clothesline and helps him shoulders first into the ring post. The sound of his clavicle colliding against the post can be heard by those in the nth row. The clown peels himself off the post and back into the ring but is then met with a thundering spear which crashes him on his back. The move is not satisfying enough as the champ begins throwing hands into his face like a crazed maniac, her punches landing any and everywhere, from his guarded face, to his throat and to his forehead. Nevaeh rises to a feet and in a fit of rage delivers a punt to his head which almost strips it off his neck.
Mystery Man: The champ looks like she has lost her mind
FBI: Well, Stitches better hope she finds it or it will be his funeral
She picks Stitches up and drops him with a German suplex, but she doesn’t stop there, she continues with a second and then a third, a triple German suplex. She goes for the pin.

Kick Out!
Mystery Man: Such resilience shown by these two, back and forth, all night long! This might as well be the main event
FBI: This is just proof of how much quality the EWC has. These two were in South Korea less than a week ago and today they are back in North Carolina, they do not look Jet-lagged at all.
Nevaeh brings the challenger to his feet and begins dispatching punches, but the man is able to catch one of the hands and deliver a chop slap into her chest which he follows up with a kick to the midsection. Stitches hooks her arms and the crowd go wild, they know what’s coming… For the second time in the night, THE SOUND OF SILENCE! He goes for the pin.

Stitches looks in disbelief as the referee hands him his new title. His face falls into the title before he rises to his feet and celebrates the win
Nina Debrov: Here’s your winner and THE NEW INDY CHAMPION! STITCHES THE CLOWN!!
Mystery Man: He did it!!! We have a new champion people!
Hank: This man gave it everything and he won everything on the night.
FBI: An impressive performance by both athletes but Stitches was won when it counted the most.
BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage and Otaki is getting ready in her locker room. She pauses for a second and takes the FSW Title and stares at it for a moment. A small figure blocks our view as someone stands in the doorway.
Voice: Knock, knock.
Otaki gets up as A$hley Quid enters the room and looks around. She smiles at Otaki who has a defensive stance and keeps darting her eyes at the door.
A$hley Quid: Don’t worry, love. I just came to talk wiv you. Gully isn’t ‘round, but he is just a skip an’ a hop away. So, ‘ow ‘ave you been, then?
She sits on a bench and Otaki stares at her incredulously.
Otaki: How do you think we’ve been?
Hisses out the FSW Champion's lips in a snake like manner.
A$hley Quid: Oh don’t be like that. I want to congratulate you for… surviving this long. Lord knows the pressure’s been on.
Otaki: The pressure you, your failure of a hitman and this damn bounty you’ve placed upon our head.
A$hley Quid: Don’t go blaming me. Do not. Sometimes I just can’t help meself. When I get an idea in me ‘ead it’s just impossible to get it out unless I act on it. We admire ya... ‘onest. You and Gully are two of the oldest surviving, fighting members of the FSW roster now. We need to ‘elp each other. Think of this as just a lil’ test. You’ve been doing great! Tell me something, though. You got offered a bit of protection. Why didn’t you accept it?
Otaki: Considering the past both you and your one eyed gargoyle share...you should be smart enough to know that it is the ones you allow to come close who stabs you in the back. And, as a Champion, we cannot afford to let our guard down against any person...friend or foe...
A$hley Quid laughs.
A$hley Quid: A proper champion, innit? I just want you to remember, yeah since you like to harp on about champions, let me remind you that FSW Champs do not last. As long as Gully is here wiv me at ‘is side there will forever be a threat on the person that ‘olds that title. So just imagine the ending of this match wiv Lock’eart an’ Diamond. If you when it will be that much worse. Gully won’t take another Otaki reign. You ‘urt his pride. Might even have me think up a more direct and immediate response. Might not even wait for it to end-
With the suddenness of lightning Otaki grabs A$hley by the collar of her top and lift her up in the air, her eyes look more feral than human.
Otaki: And we want you to remember that we are not like any of those past Champions. But if we need to prove it then maybe we should give you both something ‘extra fun’ to find a response to.
While saying her last few words The Emo Princess’ eyes look almost completely thrilled, disturbingly aroused even, as if she is going to actually act upon her words. However, after a couple of blinks, the fire in the milky woman's eyes fades away as, as if recovering from a trance, Otaki let's go of Miss Quid and slowly shake her head.
A$hley Quid: Calm down, mate. I’m just talking ‘ere. I talk a bit an’ me mind just goes into overdrive wiv devious thoughts and the like. I can’t help it. You bring it out ov me. Just between us girls… I do ‘ope you keep that title. It might piss off Gully, but you bring the best out of him. Losing to you I’ve never seen him so focused or so vicious. It’s lovely. Everything he’s done ‘ere, that’s just collateral damage. You are always the goal.
She looks around and gets close to Otaki.
A$hley Quid: So keep an eye out tonight. There is always the competition and it’s noble and shit. People, though, are always a lot more motivated by greed-
Otaki:-or by the thirst of blood.
Growls out of The Purple Haired Dynamo’s lips yet it doesn’t seem to faze A$hley Quid as, if anything, she laughs and gives off a mocking wave before leaving. Once alone again Otaki paces and forth for a couple moments, with ragged breathing, before dropping her Championship, grabbing the edge of the bench A$hley was sitting on earlier and - with a cry or rage - the bizarre Champion throws the bench over before flopping down to a sitting position, grabbing and pulling her Title close as she tries to regain her composure.
FSW CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Maggie Lockheart
VS Hope Diamond
VS Otaki
Nina: Our next match is scheduled for one fall, and is a triple threat match for the FSW Championship! Introducing first, challenger number one...residing in Inwood, New York....Maggie Lockheart!
The lights go out in the arena for a few moments causing the crowd to murmur. People gather their cellphones and lighters just to see what's going on. The camera pans out on what appears to be fireflies out in the stands. In the pitch, a loud drum solo comes crashing over the Arena PA speakers. As the last cymbal crash falls eerily silent, bright red spotlights and strobes hit the stage along with dancing red laser lights, all marching along with the cadence of a heavily distorted bass guitar.
Someone sang your name today
and a stranger saw me crumble;
Haul my broken heart and shell away
beggin', bury me beside you...
Magdalena Lockheart walks out from the curtain and continues through the center of the stage and down the ramp. Lockheart walks with a purpose, her jet-black trench coat swaying behind her as she rounds the corner to make it to the ring steps. After stepping up onto the ring apron, she spins herself around clutching the top rope behind her, as she stares out into the audience just to gauge their reaction.
But I want you
I need to
Forget you
Don't want to
But I need to let you
Go
At the exact moment that the lead singer says "go", she places her hands on either side of the trench coat and rips it open to reveal her fight life cut-off tee. At the same moment, a bright blue spotlight becomes the only light in the entire arena as it shines straight down on her and glitter falls from the ceiling like rain. Magdalena bathes in a glitter shower a moment before pulling off her trench coat and stepping into the ring.
Nina: And now the second challenger...residing in Los Angeles, California....Hope Diamond!
The intro of “Black Diamond” blasts out of the sound system. Almost a minute passes before Hope appears from behind the curtain in cue with the start of her songs´ lyrics. She blows kisses and waves her hands seemingly oblivious of boos and heat as she walks down the aisle to the ring. After climbing the stairs she leans comfortably into the ropes from the outside, smirking at the crowd and their reaction before she slowly steps through the ropes. Once inside the ring Hope ignores the fans as she stretches and limbers up in her corner until her theme fades out.
Nina: And now...residing in Pallet Town, the reigning and defending FSW Champion...Otaki!!
on the road
on the road
A rev of a guitar, though easily being flooded out by a thunderous applause, causes all the lights in the arena to drop out into darkness.
on the road
on the road
ON THE ROAD TO VIRIDIAN CITY
With that yell the lights suddenly burst into life, which reveals a woman in a purple cloak standing on the stage. While only her eyes and mouth could be seen from her hood. Her milky white skin, purple hair and the FSW Championship being wrapped around her waist making it rather obvious that this person is Otaki.
Her cloak doesn't cover the front of her attire, a purple one-piece outfit with no sleeves or coverage for the legs and a pair of blue boots, as Otaki starts to go down the ramp-way. Once arriving the bottom of the ramp a smile appears on Otaki's face as she raises her hood up and off, revealing not only her face but also a red gem that is on her forehead. Once she reveals her face The Emo Princess moves up the steps and gets onto the apron before bending over the middle rope to enter the ring.
Once inside the ring Otaki proceeds to take off her cloak, revealing the back of her outfit to any lucky man or lesbian in the crowd tonight as she neatly folds her cloak up and places it on the ropes nearest her. Right afterwards she takes off the FSW Championship – revealing a belt around with PokéBalls on them beneath it – and bounces over to the ropes opposite. Stepping one foot on the bottom rope while stepping the other on the middle rope she lifts her Championship it up in the air to a loud ovation.
The three separate, going back to their corners. the ref then calls for the bell
DING DING DING
MM: And we are underway!
Straight off the bat, Hope goes after Maggie, berating her with punches and kicks that pin her in the corner. Otaki watches on, seemingly conflicted between helping the assault and making the save. She gets no choice, as Hope pulls away from beating Maggie to deliver similar offense to her. After a few stiff shots, she grabs Otaki and throws her through the ropes, dropping her to ringside, before turning back to Maggie.
Marching over, Hope takes a double-boot to the face, cutting off her offense. Maggie explodes out of the corner with a clothesline, dropping Hope to the canvas. Hope bounces straight up, and a second clothesline follows. Coming up again, Maggie tries to keep the offense going, but finds her knee dropkicked out from under her. Hope nips up, straight away exploding forward to hit a superkick to Otaki as she attempts to climb back into the ring.
Hanks: Apart from a brief moment of Maggie, Hope has just dominated the early going...
FBI: she's a future champion for a reason!
Hope spins, charging forward and hurricanrana-ing Maggie, causing her to slide from the ring. Following her out, Hope starts with a swift punt to the ribs, before nailing a stiff European uppercut. Maggie retaliates with a loud chop (Complete with fan “WOOO”s), that only earns her a second uppercut. the two trade blows back and forth, back and forth, each more forceful than the last....but then their battle is cut off by a purple blur that wipes them both out.
MM: Otaki!! Otaki with a crazy dive that takes out both her opponents!!
Hanks: Can we get a replay?!
A replay does indeed flash up, and it shows Otaki leaping across one of the corners of the ring, diving straight over the bottom turnbuckle in a Sami Zayn style suicide dive.
FBI: she may not like heights, but she can certainly fly.
Hanks: Only when it's reasonable for her though... she's limiting her risk and conserving herself, considering there's no champions' advantage in a triple threat match.
Otaki hauls Hope off the floor, rolling her into the ring. She then goes for Maggie, whipping her hard, causing her to collide with the barriers. The impact jerks the whole barrier out of place, and leaves Maggie in a crumpled heap. Sliding in, Otaki flows to her feet, ducking under a shot Hope fires at her. Springing to the middle rope, Otaki flies back with a backelbow that drops Hope. Rolling back to her feet, Otaki starts her motion early, timing it so that she reaches Hope just as Hope is standing, which allows her to whip around into a crucifix hold, using her weight to force her down.
MM: Crucifix driver!
Hanks: Hope just got planted!
Otaki finishes her high-octane sequence by hitting the ropes once more, whipping up and around to hurricanrana Hope into the canvas... Whereupon the first cover is made

With Otaki back up, Maggie gives her an inverted atomic drop, a move that she then repeats on Hope. the two stagger towards one another, both doubled up and holding their stomachs.. Using the opportunity, Maggie charges, leaping high and coming down with both legs in stereo rocker droppers
MM: Stereo rocker droppers, and young Maggie takes control!
FBI: She's really showing off her arsenal here

...the same result, which brings forth frustration from Maggie. She dropkicks Hope, sending Hope to ringside, then centers her attention on Otaki. An armdrag pops her down on the canvas, but Maggie isn't done there. Trapping the arm under her leg, she flips Otaki over, hooking the legs into a cloverleaf to complete the signature submission
MM: Cloverleaf locked in. Maggie looking to get the submission.
Hanks: This is her shot right now!
Otaki... well, remains silent not trying to vocally show the pain... but she does shake her head however, showing no inclination to quit. Attempting to move towards the ropes, she finds that with her arm trapped, motion is nigh-on impossible. Seemingly resolved to the fact she may be forced to tap, Otaki's arm raises... Only to find all pressure released!
At the other end of the move, however, it's a different picture, as the pressure release comes in the form of Maggie being snap-DDTed by Hope, face planting into the canvas hard.
FBI: Hope saving her title chance at the last second! The match continues!!
Hope clears space by kicking Maggie to the side of the ring. She then grabs Otaki into a front facelock, lifting her from the canvas and into a vertical suplex position. Dropping her forward, she bounces Otaki's legs off the top rope, slingshotting off to deliver a brutal brainbuster suplex. Rising, Hope cuts her throat
Hanks: It's the end already! she's THAT good!
Stalking Otaki, Hope watches her rise, the Greensboro crowd rising at the same rate. Hope leaps into the air, bringing up her knees... Before crashing onto her back....
ALONE!!
Otaki steps back at the last second, avoiding the deadly maneuver. She watches Hope race to her feet, then knocks her back down with a quick Kamehameha.

FBI: Maggie is about to go for the Lacrimosa...she's gonna seize her moment!

Nina: Here is your winner and STILL FSW Champion.... Otaki!!!
Mystery Man: What an excellent match for Otaki who really quiets her doubters with an impressive victory here tonight
Hanks: Can't take anything away from the others in this match but Otaki really wanted this bad, and she earned this victory here tonight
FBI: Otaki leaves the same way she arrived .. FSW Champion .. Night of Champions continues folks, don't go anywhere
The camera slowly fades in as we hear the distinct piercing beeps of a reversing truck. We see Captain Morgan Darkwater standing just inside an arena garage, beckoning the truck in from off-camera.
Morgan: Okay, lads, back it up nice an' slowly now! Easy... easy now...!
The truck slowly backs into view, and the Captain guides it patiently into a parking spot. We hear the clunk of the parking brake, and the camera focuses on the truck's load: a massive lump covered in a bright blue tarp is strapped to the flatbed.
Morgan: Good work, lads! Leave th' rest t' me!
He bends down and unclamps the braces, letting them snap loose. He then grabs the edge of the tarp like a magician about to reveal an vanished assistant, and pulls it away with equal flourish to reveal...
Colin Hanks: Is that a...?
FBI: It is! The Captain Morgan Darkwater has delivered a massive iron anchor to the Greensboro Coliseum!
Colin Hanks: But... why? Just why?
The Captain is looking over his anchor with a satisfied smile, running his hands softly over it, checking it as if it were a fragile sculpture.
Morgan: Perfect... Well, that's my end o' th' bargain delivered! Now t' jus' wait on th' Big Man t' come through on his end.

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
LADDER MATCH
Lady Enchantra VS Toni Gunn
Mystery Man: United States Title up for grabs.
FBI: The great Toni Gunn defends against Lady Enchantra!
Colin Hanks: The last Rampage we saw Enchantra tie the hair of Toni Gunn to a cell and prevent her from winning the match. Now these two battle over the US Title.
Nina Dobrev: The following contest is the special ladder match for the EWC United States Championship!!!!
War Drum Music plays as Lady Enchantra comes to the ring.
Nina Dobrev: First the challenger Now Residing in The Danger Zone by way of The Wild Forrest she is Lady Enchantra!!!!
The lights go down and the sound of ‘Fuck a Bitch’ by Death Grips fills the arena.
Nina Dobrev: and her opponent
As soon as the song picks up, the lights go back up to reveal Toni Gunn stood on the stage, The Kray Twins either side of her. The Twins hold her two title belts as Toni stands there, bathed in a red spotlight, her signature brass knuckles on her fists.
Nina Dobrev From North Yorkshire, England, accompanied by Ricki and Rebecca Kray. She is one half of the EWC World Tag Team Champions and the defending EWC United States Champion…Toni Gunn!
Toni makes her way down the ramp, a prominent smirk on her face as she glares at the crowd and makes sure to get in the face of one or two audience members, showing more aggression than her usual cockiness. The Krays follow close behind, giving the crowd their own holier-than-thou glances.
Toni slides under the bottom rope and goes to her corner. The Krays stay at ringside as Toni kisses both brass knuckles before flipping off everyone in the vicinity (referee included) and reluctantly removing the knuckledusters. She soaks in the ‘appreciation’ from the fans one last time, before tuning the crowd out and eyeing everyone in the ring, cracking her knuckles and waiting for the bell to ring.
DING DING DING
The ref calls for the bell and this United States Championship Ladder Match is underway! The two ladies go to the center of the ring and stare up at the United States Championship hanging above the ring. Each lady spouts off at the mouth at the other. Enchantra points up at the title before motioning around her waist that the belts is coming home with her. Toni smiles before slapping Enchantra in the face. Enchantra smiles holding her jaw for a moment before she gets in Toni's face. The two ladies are yelling at one another nose to nose. Toni starts off with a gut shot before setting up for a Concussion Driver, but Enchantra is able to fight her way out of the move easily. Toni turns around and Enchantra goes for The WALIGATI, but Toni has the move scouted and gets out of the way.
Both ladies are up and Toni charges in getting an arm drag from Enchantra. Toni up and Enchantra charges in getting an arm drag of her own from Toni. Enchantra up and Toni charges in, but when Enchantra goes for the arm drag this time Toni holds her ground. Toni tries to turn it into an arm drag of her own, but Enchantra is able to counter into a monkey flip, but Toni is able to land on her feet out of the move. Toni charges in with a clothesline, but Enchantra ducks under.
Enchantra with a gut shot to Toni and goes for a neck breaker, but Toni counters out. Toni grabs Enchantra from behind for a back stabber, but Enchantra is able to grab the ropes to prevent the move. Enchantra whips Toni to the corner, but we get a reversal. Toni charges into a boot from Enchantra. Enchantra goes up top and when Toni turns around Enchantra goes for The Move of the Marisawi, but Toni is able to dodge out of the way. Enchantra up and Toni clotheslines her to the apron. Toni gets on the middle rope and tries to bring Enchantra back into the ring with The Acid Rain Drop, but Enchantra is somehow able to land on her feet!
Colin Hanks: Well that was damn impressive if I do say so myself. Lady Enchantra has not been in the Extreme Wrestling Corporation for very long, but in that short time she has been turning heads and moves like that are why.
FBI: I guess you can call it impressive, but do not take anything away from Toni Gunn here. I mean Toni was the one who ended the title reign of Griffin Hawkins. Hell if you want to be technical about it you can say that she ran off Griffin Hawkins. She accomplished something that not even FNR GM Michael Saint was able to do despite nearly two damn years of trying.
Mystery Man: I do not think he was taking away from the talent of Toni with his comment, but pointing out just how impressive Enchantra has been here in EWC. Honestly the women of EWC have been mighty impressive as of late and may even be the best set of women that we have ever had in EWC ever.
Toni gets down and charges at Enchantra with a lariat that misses. Enchantra grans Toni for a german suplex of her own, but Toni too was able to land on her feet out of the move. Enchantra turns around going for a spinning elbow strike, but Toni ducks under. Enchantra turns around into a bicycle kick from Toni. Enchantra staggers back before Toni charges in taking her down with a thez press. Toni smiles down at Enchantra before lifting her head back, but when Toni goes for a headbutt she gets poked in the eye by Enchantra. Toni dismounts Enchantra stumbling back a bit.
Enchantra with a gut shot before trying a DDT, but Toni is able to block. Toni with a shot of her own. Toni scoops up Enchantra for a slam, but Enchantra is able to fight out before turning the move into a spinning neck breaker. Enchantra tries to exit the ring, but Toni grabs her by the leg to prevent it. Toni stands up still holding the leg of Enchantra who tries for an enzuigiri, but Toni ducks under the kick.
Both up and Toni charges at Enchantra who back drops her to the outside. Toni gets on the apron, but Enchantra shoulder blocks her back down and out. Enchantra off the ropes and when Toni gets to her feet Enchantra connects with The Dive of the Marisawi! Enchantra is up slowly and goes under the ring. She is under the ring a bit before Toni gets up and pulls her out. Both ladies are standing and Enchantra tries to stab in the head with a screw driver, but Toni is able to block before taking the screw driver away and tossing it. Enchantra and Toni look at one another a moment before both are under the ring and pull out the ladder. The two jock for position before Toni rams Enchantra into the steel ring post using the ladder.
Toni walks up the ladder and dropkicks Enchantra in the face! However, lands back first on the ladder when she does! Toni slowly is to her feet and puts the ladder into the ring rolling in herself. Enchantra is up and grabs the ladder, but before she can do anything Toni dropkicks it back into her!
Mystery Man Toni with a big move right there. These two have for the most part been dead even in this match, but by creating some sort of separation Toni may have just got herself the way to win the match that she has been looking for.
FBI: Well yeah I mean getting a ladder dropkicked into you is a great way to take an opponent out right? I think that you give way too little credit to Toni Gunn. Actually both of you do. She is the best woman in this company today. She may be the best ever. Valora Thomas does not have shit on her even and that is saying a lot. Toni should rightfully be taking on Drake tonight in my opinion and then she would be adding the Undisputed Championship to her list of accomplishments in this company.
Colin Hanks: Well did you ever think that you give her way too much credit? No one is saying that she is not a great talent, but she is not the only person here and she is in that ring with a person who could have her number if she wants to.
Toni brings the ladder to the center of the ring and puts it under her title belt. Toni starts to climb, but she does not get far before Enchantra is able to grab her foot. Toni tries to climb, but Enchantra is able to pull her down off the ladder. Enchantra goes for The WALIGATI, but Toni is able to dodge the shot. Enchantra up and turns around into a thez press from Toni. Toni starts to headbutt away at Enchantra repeatedly.
When the ref finally pulls off Toni both she and Enchantra have a trickle of blood running down their heads. Enchantra gets up slowly as Toni stalks her. Toni picks up Enchantra putting her on the top ropes. Toni goes up top setting up for The Disembowler, but Enchantra is able to get out. Enchantra has Toni set up for a powerbomb, but Toni gets out landing on her feet. Toni charges into an elbow from Enchantra. Enchantra up top before coming off The Move of the Marisawi!!!!!
FBI: No!
Colin Hanks: Yes!
Mystery Man: What a move! Enchantra just planted the United States Champion in a spectacular fashion. If she can capitalize on that we will have a new champion!
Enchantra is up to her feet first and Toni is not moving slowly behind her. Enchantra has the ladder, but before she can get far she is pulled off by Toni. Enchantra lands on her feet though and is able to connect with The WALIGATI!!!!!!! Toni is not moving! Enchantra starts to climb the ladder, but looks up before going to the other side of the ladder to climb it. Toni is half way up when a masked fan runs in from the crowd brandishing a chair. The fan cracks Enchantra in the back causing her to fall off the ladder to the mat. The fan repeatedly starts to waffle Enchantra with the chair as Toni gets to her feet. Toni smiles as the fan takes off the mask to reveal Harvey Yorke!
Colin Hanks: That no good son of a
FBI: Watch your language young man you can't say that sort of thing on air.
Colin Hanks: The Fuck I can't! Harvey Yorke just screwed over Lady Enchantra. He is a no good son of a .....
FBI: If you say that I will slap you son!
Colin Hanks: He is a son of a .......
Mystery Man: Bitch
FBI: Really?
Colin Hanks: Thanks. We know FBI is too scared of you to take action.
FBI: Kiss my ass.
Mystery Man: Watch your language
FBI: Fuck you both.
The two member of Moors Murders start to stomp away on the helpless Enchantra and set up for a spike piledriver on the chair, but from the back comes ManThing!
FBI: No!
Colin Hanks: Yes! Lady Enchantra has some back up.
Mystery Man: Yeah and her back up is over seven feet tall.
ManThing gets to ringside, but before he can get on the apron Harvey leaps off the top rope with a cross body, but he is caught in mid air! ManThing goes to slam Harvey who gets out of it. Harvey starts to run around the ring with ManThing giving chase. Harvey gets back into a corner near the steps. ManThing charges, but gets a knee dropkick to his knee causing ManThing to collide head first with the steel ring steps!!!!
Toni lets out a sigh of relief. Toni turns around into Enchantra who goes for another WALIGATI, but Toni blocks! Toni has Enchantra up and Concussion Driver onto the chair!!!! Enchantra is out! Toni slowly is up and starts to make her way up the ladder! Toni is close! Toni has the belt and pulls it down!!!!!!!!!
DING DING DING
Nina Dobrev: Here is your winner and STILL EWC UNITED STATES CHAMPION TONI GUNN!!!!!
FBI: Toni retains and justice is served.
Colin Hanks: She had help give the assist to her tag partner.
Mystery Man: Honestly they both had help, but Toni is lucky enough for it to pay off more.
Toni celebrates when suddenly without warning her music stops, and the lights go out pitch black. The crowd pops with anticipation, as the arena goes almost dead silent.
M. Man: Did we just lose all power?
FBI: This reminds me of the Superbowl a few years back when they blew a transformer, and the game stalled for an hour and a half.
Hanks: Don't be talking like that... Are we still on the air? Did we lose broadcast signal? Hello? Can anyone hear us in the truck?
The sound of static breaks the silence, as the jumbotron comes to life, as a video begins to play.
Hanks: What the hell... is this...
FBI: You don't recognize it? It's only been playing on the Legion twitter page for months now...
Hanks: You don't think...
FBI: I do... And apparently so do these fans.
The crowd ERUPTS with a mixed reaction, as (The Winner) gazes at the screen, tightly grasping the U.S. Championship in his hand.
M. Man: I don't think Gunn is alone inside the ring...
FBI: No... What gave you that idea?
The screen suddenly goes blank, as darkness fills the arena once more. But only for a moment or two before we hear the unmistakable sounds of thunder as flickers of lightning flash throughout the arena.

The screen suddenly goes blank, as darkness fills the arena once more. But only for a moment or two before we hear the unmistakable sounds of thunder as flickers of lightning flash throughout the arena.
The crowd once again pops as thunder echos through the building. When suddenly...
M. Man: Could it be???
Hanks: Is he back???
As the music continues to play, we hear the unmistakable voice of Luke Wolfe, as the music comes to an abrupt end.
Luke Wolfe: ...Oh how quickly we forget...
FBI: He's in the ring!
Hanks: What???
FBI: Look! Right there, I can see him!
Just as the lights raise back up to show that Wolfe has indeed seemingly appeared inside the ring out of thin air, Gunn turns around dropping the belt looking around the ring for Legion, readying himself for an attack.
M. Man: Gunn is wise to the games of Legion, the Wolfe's may have been MIA for the past few months but no one has forgotten their MO.
As Gunn waves for Luke to bring it on, Luke just stands there emotionless.
Luke Wolfe: Calm down... I'm not here to kick your ass. If I wanted to I would have done it a long time ago, I've had many chances let me tell you.
Still on guard Gunn Slowly bends down and picks up the U.S. Title belt throwing it up on his shoulder.
Luke Wolfe: You haven't forgotten already have you??? You haven't forgotten who the Rampage brand belongs to have you? Did you think I was gone?
The crowd pops for a moment as Luke continues.
Luke Wolfe: NO! I never left! Annabelle... Never left. We've just been watching, from the shadows. Legion... has been telling you for months that... You... Are not... Alone... What exactly did you think that meant? I thought it was pretty clear that I was watching and that I could come back at any time, yet here I sit and watch while the United States Title... The title that was ROBBED from me! Is represented by people like you. The United States Championship the highest honor exclusive to the Rampage brand, and people have been disgracing it! Hell... Griffin Hawkins gave up and ran away after he lost it! He had no honor! No integrity!
M. Man: Just like Luke up and left after HE lost it? The pot calling the kettle black a little dont you think?
FBI: Hey! Shut up man!
Luke Wolfe: Well after the PATHETIC excuse for a title match that I just witnessed, I decided what a better time to come back... Then Night of Champions. A night where a TRUE champion makes his return... to take back what is his. Let me tell you all a little story. Everyone may have forgotten. But I got railroaded out of my rematch for the U.S. Championship! All because the powers that be decided that Griffin Hawkins earned himself a World Title shot. So what happened? Was I granted my title shot right away? No... I was never granted one at all! Sure, everyone's favorite golden boy loses his World Title and the rematch is penned and advertised right away, Xplode... for the washed up has been that he is, continues to get the royal treatment-While Your Messiah gets pushed to the wayside while X and Drake pass around the World Title like a game of hot potatoes MY challenges to him got ignored all in the name of ratings because WHOO BOY Drake and X can draw money! I'm sure if they could have drug that out for an entire year them passing the belt back and forth they would have. And after all that... After my U.S. Title--
Toni Gunn becomes irritated and starts mouthing off to Luke getting right up in his face.
Luke Wolfe: Relax you meaningless POS I'll get to you in a second.
Clearly irritated Toni steps back as Luke makes his way around the ring.
Luke Wolfe: After my U.S. Title was STOLEN from me! Having lost it to Hawkins in a bogus CAGE match with the belt hanging from the ceiling, after Hawkins was given chance after chance after chance at the U.S. Belt, he took it away from me without pinning me... Without making me submit... And I beat him THREE straight times! Once to become number one contender to the U.S. Title, yet Hawkins somehow got his way into that match, where I beat him AGAIN! And AGAIN when I beat him straight up in a title defense. So what happens? Hawkins gets yet another U.S. Title match that he didn't deserve, this time in a match where he didn't have to actually pin or submit me to win, and then what happens? Am I given my rematch? No... I was not... They gave Griffin Hawkins a rematch at the grand daddy of them all! What happened you ask? He lost... And he lost because he had no business being in that match in the first place! Let alone headlining the biggest card of the year! And where is he now?
Luke Wolfe: Yeah... So I watched. I sat back and I watched just what would happen to the EWC without it's Messiah... and it's completely turned to utter SHIT!!!
Luke Wolfe: I practically spoon fed you the fact that I was watching and waiting in the wings, and did anyone take notice? No... You all just hoped I would just disappear and never come back. Well...
Pausing for a moment as he looks around the arena...
Luke Wolfe: I'M BACK!
The crowd ERUPTS some cheering some booing, but one thing is for sure... everyone is excited!
Luke Wolfe: ...And my first order of business is taking back what I never rightfully lost... THAT United States Championship!
Toni and Wolfe stand at opposite sides of the ring, staring each other down, as Luke points right at the belt resting on Gunns Shoulder.
Luke Wolfe: I never got my rematch... I'm rightfully due one! It was in my contract, so try to get out of it all you want, but its right there in black and white, book my title match! And put it on Pay-Per-View because you're gonna want to charge people to see the shit I'm going to do to him when I take back what's mine! I'll be at the next Rampage to claim my first victim... Toni Count your days as champion, because they are numbered! The Messiah has returned! And this time... I'm not going to save anyone, you just don't deserve it. I am coming to mow down anyone who gets in my way! I will make everyone remember! ...The Night Luke Wolfe returned to the EWC... Fear me! For I am the God of this place!
Luke drops the mic as the lights begin to flicker once again as thunder rumbles through The Michigan Stadium.
"Invincible" by Skillet, the new tunes of Luke Wolfe hits, the crowd whips into a frenzy, Toni Gunn looking all around the arena for Legion ready to be ambushed. The lights still so dark it's hard to even see his way around the ring.
M. Man: Could it be???
Hanks: Is he back???
As the music continues to play, we hear the unmistakable voice of Luke Wolfe, as the music comes to an abrupt end.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
60 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH
Thomas Bates VS Andrew Jackson
Mystery Man: At Scars and Stripes Andrew Jackson won the EWC International Championship title. Today at Night of Champions he goes for his first defense against a man you can make two men out of, the gentle giant Thomas Uriel Bates.
FBI: I agree with giant but gentle isn´t going to cut it. The harps too much about his past titles. Jackson although he´s an ass kisser too is right to deny him respect.
Hanks: Andrew Jackson was very clear about that. But that was while he was imprisoned and naturally on edge.
Mystery Man: He was imprisoned by the country he fought for. That would be a shit in everyone´s cheerios.
FBI: He´ll better bring all that aggression to the ring tonight if he wants to take out the big man and keep his belt. You can´t take one thing from Bates. He is massive.
Hanks: I have a feeling Jackson will fight Bates but see his former best bud all the time. If I´m right God may help TUB.
The lights in the arena go down, and moments later the opening bars to "The Sunk'n Norwegian" hit and Captain Morgan Darkwater comes out from backstage to enthusiastic - if slightly confused - response from the fans in attendance. He doesn't hang around on the stage, no theatrical entrance this time, and instead makes his way purposefully down the ramp.
Mystery Man: Captain Darkwater? What's he doing out here, he's not scheduled to compete tonight!
Colin Hanks: Both great questions, Double M. It was only earlier we saw him arrive with a genuine anchor on a truck, and now he's come out unannounced? The questions pile up!
FBI: Well maybe if you were patient and shut up, he'd answer those questions!
Sure enough, the pirate Captain is in the ring at this point, microphone in hand and waiting patiently for the music and clamour from the fans to die down. He then takes off his tri-cornered hat and sweeps it far to the side in a theatrical bow.
Morgan: Ladies an' gentlemen, me name be Captain Morgan Darkwater, but some o' ye already knew that. An' if ye didn't, it's not really important, cos tonight is not about me.
Colin Hanks: Then why are you out here?!
Morgan: No, this night be about champions, an' champions in th' makin', an' I be out here tonight to talk about an' introduce one such man. A man o' integrity an' strength, o' poise an' purpose, style an' respect - when all others were busy mockin' yours truly fer bein' nothin' but a humble pirate tryin' t' make a debut here in the EWC, this man alone extended th' hand o' friendship an' showed great respect. An' what big hands he has, too! But that be neither here nor there... what matters is he needed somethin' from me ship, th' Winds of Fortune, an' in return he be allowin' me the honour t' introduce him and be present ringside as he dominates his opponent t' become yer new International Champion. So! Without any further ado, carryin' an anchor from me own ship that weighs in excess of one an' a half thousand pounds... he is th' man, th' legend an' the next International Champion - Mr Thomas Uriel BAAAATTES!!
Nina Dobrev: The following contest is a sixty minute Ironman match for the EWC International Championship title. Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at four hundred and thirty pounds, and standing at six foot, nine inches. From Huntsville, Alabama; Thomas Uriel Bates!
'Midnight Rider' by the Allman Brothers Band blares over the PA system as the titaron begins showing clips of Thomas Uriel Bates, alternating between clips of his ring experience, and a long solitary ride on his motorcycle. As the video continues to play, Thomas Uriel Bates steps out to the stage wearing his wrestling attire.
Bates glares down at the ring, staring intensely a the ring as he walks towards it. He arrives at the ring and walks up the steps, moving to the center of the apron. He looks out towards the fans as he steps over the top rope and enters the ring. Bates steps towards the center, turns to face the stage, and stretches out his arms as he roars. The crowd joins in, amplifying the thunderous effect.
Mystery Man: An impressive specimen for sure.
Hanks: Despite his harping about past accomplishment as FBI called it, he has earned his place in tonight´s line-up..
FBI: That what Vic Price thinks anyway. I still like Vic´s badass attitude but he has made a lot of mistakes since he took the helm of BRAWL.
Nina Dobrev: And his opponent… coming to the ring next at 190 lbs …from North Carolina… he is …the reigning EWC International Champion …. he is …. The veteran and the patriot …ANDREW JACKSONNNNNNNN!!!
Take No Prisoners by Megadeth blasts through the PA system and it is soon followed by a series of fireworks blasting across the stage from left to right and back to the start point like a rogue Draco.
Once the fireworks seize Andrew Jackson arrives from behind the curtains looking expansively into the thousands in the audience. The cheers flood the stage as he gets himself settled at the center of it. The belt of the International Champion rests comfortably on his left shoulder.
Jackson throws salutes to his audience and begins to make his way down the ramp. He doesn’t flash a single smile but even with his strict demeanor he dishes out high-fives and handshakes whilst he makes his way down.
Once he gets to the ring area he uses the steps to get into the ring but before going through the ropes he points to the cheap seats above and throws a salute their way. Once in the ring he hands his belt to the ref, finds his corner and throws a few warm up punches to get into the swing of things as he waits for the match to begin.
Mystery Man: I hate to say it but the champ looks small compared to his opponent.
Hanks: So did David when he met Goliath…
FBI: And that particular Goliath has never gone sixty minutes in a match. TUB has to prove that he is worth a belt and being big …
Hanks: … is not going to cut it, yes.
FBI is seen glaring at Hanks for the interruption when the opening bell rings.
DING! DING! DING!
TUB takes a deliberately slow step forward, then another and raises his arms with the fingers of his hand spread apart, indicating he is looking to test his strength against the reigning International Champion.
Jackson shakes his hand and instead drives a Flying Elbow into Bates´ bearded chin. The elbow hits hard but Jackson´s attempt to arm drag Bates into the canvas bombs. With a violent jerk of his arm Bates throws Jackson halfway across the ring into the ring. The big man from Alabama goes for a Clothesline as Jackson rebounds but the champion ducks underneath it and drives another hard elbow into Bates´ ribs before kicking his legs away from under him.
As Bates´ goes down like an avalanche Jackson catches him in a Figure-Four-Leglock.
Mystery Man: Bates was right with his assumption that Jackson would go for his knees.
Hanks: Smart move. As we have just seen even an ueber guy like Andrew Jackson has trouble moving 430 pounds around if the 430 pounds don´t want to be moved around.
FBI: Rookie mistake to try to arm drag or slam a guy more than twice your size.
TUB lets out a roar even louder than the one he let out when he made his entrance and slams his fist into the canvas in anger and pain. Showing very clearly why he is considered one of the strongest men on earth Bates pries his legs apart, eventually snapping out of the hold through sheer strength.
Both wrestlers roll away from each other.
Now Bates takes the initiative with a Bull Hammer that missed but is immediately followed by a Alabama Slam that Andrew Jackson cannot avoid anymore. However, Jackson manages to roll away when Bates drops down on him, leaving the gentle giant only with empty air to pin.
Bates barely dodges a kick to his head and plows into Jackson before the ex-seal can regain his solid footing. Both men hit the ropes as one tangled mess. The rebound sees Jackson land an elbow right between Bates´ eyes, stunning him for a moment. A Roundhouse Kick takes him down and Jackson goes for the cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE…
Mystery Man: The champion scores his first point.
Hanks: He really surprised Bates here.
FBI: Too soon to say that this is decisive.
Jackson releases Bates immediately after the three-count. TUB makes it clear that he is back in full possession of his faculties. He rises from the mat with Jackson caught in a mighty Bearhug. He shakes Jackson violently and after rag dolling him around the ring slams the champ down with a thundering Flapjack to go for the cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE…
Mystery Man: That evens the score pretty quickly.
FBI: I told ya!
Hanks: This man is a fragging tank!
Bates peels Jackson of off the mat and Irish whips him into a turnbuckle, following immediately behind with a body splash turned into a standing Cobra Clutch.
Mystery Man: Bates showing his ring smarts now. He knows he is no match for Jackson´s speed so he is restricting his movement and playing a submission game.
Bates: I guess he has to. Chances are Bates will run out of gas otherwise long before Jackson does.
FBI: The guy knows how to make the best out of what is given to him. I like that.
But Andrew Jackson has acquired some ring savvy too. He´s in this match for the long haul so instead of giving in to his pride he does the reasonable thing and taps out.
Bates has to release his opponent and Jackson – now one point behind on the score board – is at once on the offensive again with punches to Bates´ face and knee strikes to his thighs, transitioned into a leg hook that throws the big man down again. For a brief period Jackson caches TUB in another Figure-Four Lock but this time they are too close to the ropes. Rather than have his legs damaged further Bates grabs the bottom rope and is out of the predicament.
Jackson slips out of a Sidewalk Slam attempt and nails several more rapid-fire knees into Bates´ right thigh before Bates retaliates with a kick of his own that catches Jackson in the waist and puts some distance between the two fighters.
The sound of Bates´ backhand fist whooshing through the air is clearly audible in the arena. He aims for Jackson´s head but once again the champ is faster, ducks and unloads a kick in TUB´s chest. The air rushes out of Bate´s lungs but his arm swings back and he catches Jackson with a improvised bitch slap that connects like a gunshot.
Now both men need a moment to regroup. Two or three seconds pass before Bates locks Jackson up in an collar-and-elbow hold but once again the champ uses his smaller stature to slip out of the bona and ligament crushing hold and turns it into a Jawbreaker followed by a kick into Bates´ temple that axes the gentle giant. As he drops Jackson dives down And hooks the leg.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE…
Mystery Man: Jackson evens the playing field once again.
FBI: Is it just me or does the champ have a streak of yellow on his belly all of a sudden?
Hanks: It´s just you. Jackson is a soldier. He´s not fighting battles he can´t win like going toe-to-toe with the raw power of Thomas Uriel Bates. Jackson has speed and agility on his side and surely he has a plan that lasts sixty minutes.
Mystery Man: Agreed. The one who is gased out first is the one taking the falls in the end. Jackson does well to avoid both excessive damage and overly fancy athletics, sticking to basic moves that work while wearing Bates down.
Hanks: Chances are Bates figured that out as well. Big does not equal stupid in his case.
FBI: Yeah, the rock n´ roll train from Alabama is rolling again.
Indeed Bates has recovered both from the kick in the head and the fall by now and does what he does best in the ring – hit real hard.
Jackson eats a Sidewalk Slam, A Power Bomb and a German Release Suplex in quick succession before he manages to reverse a Backbreaker and take Bates down with a DDT.
ONE…
TWO…
NOPE!!!
Bates brings up both shoulders, throwing Andrew Jackson away in the process. TUB gets up and attacks Jackson with boxing –style jabs and hooks and the International Champion responds in kind, ducking and weaving and making the most out of his standing game. Seeing he is going nowhere with this approach Bates charges Jackson with a Shoulder Block but gets hip tossed. Jackson tries a roll-up but Bates knocks him away before the count even begins.
Mystery Man: Bates rolling his left shoulder…
Hanks: Yes, I think he landed hard on that one.
FBI: It seems neither broken nor dislocated though.
Andrew Jackson lands a Drop Kick that makes Bates go OMPF! But fails to knock the six foot nine man off his feet or even a step back. But Jackson makes good use of his position after the kick and scissors both of Bates´ legs just below the knee. Rolling around quickly Jackson accomplishes what his Drop Kick didn´t do. He takes Bates down to the mat again. It doesn´t do him much good though. Jackson goes for another roll-up and is knocked away like the first time.
With both wrestlers back into the vertical they lock up in another elbow-and-collar hold. Back and forth they push each other through the ring with Bates utilizing his enormous power and Jackson countering with clever footwork and leverage.
Bates manages to push Jackson deep into the ropes but Jackson at the same time slips out of the hold. HE goes downstairs and somehow with nearly superhuman effort manages to heave his huge opponent onto his shoulders. Jackson can´t hope to keep the Alabama giant suspended like this so he simply let´s go and all 430 pounds of Uriel Bates splash onto the ground outside the ring as he goes over the ropes like a XXXL- sized sack of potatoes.
Referee John Dean starts to count TUB out.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE…
FOUR…
Mystery Man: The bigger they are, eh harder they fall. Bates took a dive on hard floorboard from like ten feet above and it shows. He has a lot of trouble getting his act together again.
Hanks: Good for Jackson in two ways. Have you seen the strain on his face when he lifted the giant? I thought the veins in his forehead and temples would burst.
FBI: Maybe the rest of his head will burst when Bates gets back into the ring. Da big dude looks really pissed.
FIVE…
SIX…
SEVEN…
Mystery Man: Or Bates is waiting it out, trading another loss for a moment to regroup.
EIGHT…
Thomas Uriel Bates rolls back into the ring. He is under attack once again as Jackson starts to unload more kicks and punches into his massive frame. If they have any effect on Bates he does not show. FBI was right about one thing. The kid gloves are off for the big dude. He plows into Jackson with a shoulder from hell and follows through with a Powerslam. Jackson kicks out of a cover attempt but pays for it by having to take a straight punch to the gut that rocks his bones and intestines. Bates hits him with a Small Package Driver right afterwards.
ONE…
TWO…
KICKOUT!!!
Jackson gets his shoulder up and his knee into the face of Bates. Diverting from his preferred standing game Jackson catches Bates in an Anaconda Vise while they are still on the mat. Bates tries to pull the smaller off him but Jackson has the hold locked in so tightly that Bates would have to unscrew his own head to get rid of the man.
Mystery Man: Jackson on his way to score another point.
But TUB wants nothing of that. Unable to break the stranglehold Bates uses the seconds he has left before the lack of oxygen will make him dizzy to slam both of his fists into the small of Jackson´s back . The pain of the double kidney shot forces the International Champ to let go and roll away in pain, clutching his lower back now instead of choking Bates. But his opponent can´t capitalize on that. Bates is frantically gasping for air, not as much in pain perhaps as Jackson but surely groggy and half out of it.
Hanks: Both guys showing now that they are only human after all.
FBI: I don´t like that song.
Mystery Man: I like what I´ve been seeing so far. This is major league wrestling of the finest. Two men who give it all they have and then some.
Andrew Jackson is on the offense once more, dropkicking into Bates´ knees. TUB stumbles but does not fall. He gets out of the way of another dropkick but clearly favors his left leg.
Jackson notices as well and unleashes a toe kick into the damaged appendage but Bates catches the leg and uses it as a lever to throw Jackson into the nearest ring corner.
Hanks: OUCH!!
Not favoring his leg at all anymore Bates storms after his opponent and lads a double knee drop that crushes Jackson between the metal of the ring post and the hulking figure of Thomas Uriel Bates.
Bates locks Jackson in a Full Nelson and whips him into the air more like he´s a pillow and not a fully grown man.
Mystery Man: THE BADGE!!!
FBI: NO!!!
A stomp kick right into the face interrupts the execution of Bates´ finisher. He is forced to release Jackson which is only a mixed blessing for the champ. HE is out of Bates´ clutches and out of one of the most devastating slams known in the EWC right now but he still has to take a hard fall the almost impales him on the ring post.
Thomas Uriel Bates shakes his head while blood starts to run freely from his nose. Jackson is bleeding too, sporting an ugly cut on the side of his forehead where Bates´ knee busted a small vein.
Mystery Man: We are in the last minutes of the match and the score is still two versus two. Both Jackson and Bates will have to bring their very best game now because the next fall or submission is likely the one that makes or breaks a champion.
Hanks: Both wrestlers have delivered one hell of a show for the fans.
FBI: Delivering the final kill is what this game is all about. It´s like politics. All the baby-kissing is just for the cameras.
Hanks: Coming from you it must be right.
FBI: Damn right boy! Step in a ring with me and I show you.
Inside the ring Jackson and Bates circle each other. Each man knows time is running out but both feel the effects of a match that forced them to be iron men in more than one way. Each one wants to score another victory point and each one is determined to make sure the other one doesn´t succeed.
Jackson feints and Bates´ responds with a defensive jab much more sluggish than before but Jackson is also slower than almost an hour ago when he pedals out of Bates´ long reach.
Mystery Man: Both are tired now. It´s coming down to a battle of wills.
Hanks: How much time left?
FBI: 1 minute 47 seconds and clicking away…
Finally TUB makes his move and charges into Jackson. The International Champion takes him on headlong but literally rolls with the attack. Knocking Bates´ feet away from under him, Jackson twists and turns not to be buried under a four-hundred-plus man when TUB comes down again with a thundering crash. Jackson grabs hold of his legs and flips the big man on his back pouring all of his one-hundred-ninety pounds into it when he presses Bate´s shoulders into the canvas.
Just three seconds…..
ONE….
TWO…
THREE!!!
The kickout comes just the bat of an eyelash too late.
Bates screams in frustration and goes for a spear with all his weight and power behind it.
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
DING! DING! DING!
Nina Dobrev: And the winner of this contest with three versus two falls … and STILL the International Champion ….. ANDREW JACKSONNNNNNNN!!!
Mystery Man: And that marks Jackson´s first title defense against a man who is literally more than a handful. Actually more than two handfuls.
Hanks: Andrew did the job under most difficult circumstances despite all the accusations and troubles he has been going through lately.
FBI: These troubles made him even more aggressive. I think I´m beginning to like this guy a bit.
Hanks: Good for him.
Mystery Man: And we are gearing up for the next highlight, after some messages….
TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Stitches & Prince
VS USA-Steel
VS Moors Murders
Mystery Man: What a show Night of Champions has been so far. If you thought that last match was good, then boy are you in for a treat. Next up we have the tag team titles on the line!
Colin Hanks: Can the champs retain or will we have new ones, let's find out.
Nina Dobrev: The Next match is a triple threat Tag team match, and is for the EWC Tag team championships! Introducing first at a combined weight of 495lbs, The Greatest Tag Team In The History Of The World USA-Steel!
FBI: Self proclaimed greatest team in the world.
Colin Hanks: They just might prove it after tonight!
‘Born In The USA/Whisper in the Dark’ remix plays out and Mr. USA leads the team onto the stage with his arms full of FREE Mr. USA merchandise, masks, t-shirts, mouse pad, etc. Harvey Steel walks out behind him and at a distance as a teen would with the parents out of sheer embarrassment at their behavior. Mr. USA begins handing out the free stuff as he walks to the rings, taking selfies and high fiving the fans as Harvey ignores them and marches right to the ring and waits as his partner finishes handing out the Mr. USA gear and joins him. They huddle up briefly before climbing into the ring and wait for the bell.
Nina Dobrev: And introducing their opponents, first at a combined weight of 455lbs, Representing Prime, Prince and Stitches!
"Rotting In Vain" by Korn blasts over the PA system. The crowd begins to boo as Prince walks down the ramp way. He points at random fans and laughs at them. Before walking up the steps to the ring, Prince spins around and flips the finger from both hands to the crowd. He then enters the ring and waits for the bell to ring.
As the beat drops at around the thirty seven second mark the curtains are brushed to the side, smoke spewing out from behind the curtains, and out walks Stitches. A wide, red-painted Chelsea-esque grin is across the face of Stitches as he stares out at the crowd of people before him.
FBI: Look at these two, can't even get on same page to come out together.
‘The Saw is the Law’ by Whitechapel begins to play through the arena as red lights cover the crowd and smoke fills the stage.
Nina Dobrev: And introducing the champions at a combined weight of 316lbs.
As the lyrics begin, Harvey Yorke emerges from the smoke dressed in a black wool coat, Toni Gunn following close behind in her own red and black button-down. As Harvey drops to one knee and lets out a yell, Toni flips off the crowd with both hands, and we see just barely through the smoke the Kray Twins and Xander Healy stood behind the two of them.
Nina Dobrev: From North Yorkshire, England, accompanied by Xander Healey and the Kray Twins, they are the team of Toni Gunn and Harvey Yorke…The Moors Murders!
The duo march down the ramp, Harvey glaring at the crowd whilst Toni goes out of her way to verbally harass a select few fans. Harvey enters the ring first, jumping the ropes and landing with his arms held out at his sides. As he goes to the team’s corner, removing his coat, Toni enters the ring under the bottom rope. She mimics Harvey by holding her arms out to the sides, soaking in the ‘appreciation’ of the fans with a sinister smirk on her face. The Kray Twins and Xander settle down at ringside as Toni takes off her button-down, teases throwing it into the crowd, and then throws it down to her managers outside. The Moors Murders remain in their corner, discussing tactics and preparing for the match.
Mystery Man: Looks like Harvey and Prince will start this thing off.
DING DING DING
FBI: Oh! What a way to start off the match, nothing fancy, just a good old exchange of lefts and rights from Prince and Harvey!
Mystery Man: It looks like a bar fight down there!
Harvey catches a left square on the jaw and returns it with a right hook that jars the the dome of the Prince of pain. Harvey grabs the wrist of Prince and sends him into the ropes. Harvey drops to the mat and Prince hops over him, and rebounds off the opposing ropes. This time Harvey leap frogs over Prince and meets him with a reckless closeline as the man’s body rebounds off the ropes once more.
Colin Hanks: Oh! Prince turned inside out with that closeline by Harvey Yorke!
Prince backs up and tags in Mr USA. USA climbs threw the ropes and its pelted across the back with a flurry of strikes from Yorke.
Mystery Man: Yorke is on fire tonight. He doesn't want to turn loose of those titles just yet!
Mr. USA shoves Yorke back creating separation. Harvey comes charging in and USA ducks a flying closeline. Yorke comes at USA once more but is caught and slammed down hard with an old school scoop slam.
FBI: MR. USA looking to slow Harvey’s role with that hard scoop slam. And lifting him up and another!
After two scoop slams USA goes to lift Yorke up once more but catches a boot to the temple, that staggers the man. USA retaliates with a short arm clothesline knocking Yorke down hard once more.
FBI: Why is this fool showboating?
Colin Hanks: Well Mr. USA likes having fun with the crowd and they love him!
FBI: The crowd can't win titles for you Colin.
Colin Hanks: Oh look, Yorke with the extended hand. He is telling Mr. USA good match.
Mystery Man: Oh, should have seen that groin kick coming, everyone knows Moors Murders will do anything to keep these titles. Tag and in comes Toni!
Toni walks over to Mr. Usa’s prone body and drops a rolling knee onto the man’s temple. Usa rolls over clutching his face and is caught with a soccer kick to the ribs. Toni shouts something before going in for another kick but Usa catches the leg and stands, wagging a finger and shaking his head no. Toni grabs Usa’s head pulling him in close and striking with her other knee.
Mystery man: Oh! Muay thai like knee strike escape there! Mr. Usa may be knocked out!
Toni goes for a pin.
1
2.....The pin is broken up by Stitches, and Steel is also in the ring. Steel tosses the clown over the top rope and Starts exchanging blows with Toni.
Colin Hanks: Oh no! All hell's breaking loose! Steel taking down by Prince with a running kick. And Yorke with a closeline spilling both men out to the outside!
An all out brawl starts on the outside as the Ref attempts to break it up and regain order Mr. Usa and Toni are back up in the center of the ring.
FBI: Moore ducks The Patriot Punch, but Prince who's just getting back on the apron wasn’t so lucky! He goes down from Usa’s second Patriot Punch.
Mystery Man: The ref just can't get the match back in order!
Stitches tossed Steel into the outside barricade as the rest exchanged strikes. After several minutes of outside brawling the red gets things back in order.
Colin Hanks: Looks like Toni and Stitches are the legal participants now after the dust settled.
The two tie up and Toni starts with the advantage moving into an arm wrench into a hammerlock then finally transitioning into a headlock. She whips Stitches into the ropes and the clown ducks a clothesline on his return. Stitches grabs ahold of Tonis blonde mane and slams her down on his knee hard.
FBI: Stitches regains momentum with that clever tactic
Toni kicks out at one though. Stitches runs to the ropes and rebounds with a heavy leg drop to Toni’s throat. The clown does this twice more before going for a pin once more.
Mystery Man: Only a 2 count. Stitches is going need to do more than that if he wants to put away the champion.
Toni fights her way to her feet via head butts. She headbutts the painted man again and again until he staggers into her corner. She continues to head butt him til her forehead bust open and Harvey sneaks in a tag. Yorke pulls Stitches out fro the turnbuckle just to powerbomb him back into it. Stitches slumps down and Toni nails a running knee to the seated clown.
Colin Hanks: OH, North Side Suicide by the Moor Murders! It could be all, NO! Two count only.
FBI: Great teamwork by Prince coming in to break the pin attempt up. But Toni tosses him over the top rope before finally getting out herself.
Mystery Man: But Stiches had just enough left in him to crawl over and tag Steel! What a match!
Steel Ties up with Stitches and gets the advantage. Steel whips Stitches into his corner and Tags in Mr. Usa who is now back on the apron.
Mystery Man: You just know that all three of these teams wants this bad, the tag team championships mean that much to them.
MR.USA grapples up with Harvey, whipping him off the ropes. Mr.USA goes for a clothesline as Harvey comes back towards him but Harvey ducks the move. As Mr.USA turns around Harvey grabs him and plants him on the mat with an Underhook suplex. Harvey then tag his partner Toni back into the match, before he picks Mr.USA up and the duo hits the North Side Suicide on Mr.USA, with Toni kneeing Mr.USA in the corner.
Hanks: Team work there by the Moor Murders!
FBI: I got to give it to them tonight, both Toni Gunn and Harvey Yorke have already been involved in action and somehow they both still love as fresh as a daisy.
Toni grabs Mr.USA in the corner and hits him with a hip toss. Suddenly the outreach arm of Prince slaps Toni in the back. Prince jumps in the ring and shouts at Toni to get out before turning his attentions to Mr.USA. Toni is enraged, she spins Prince around and spits in his face!
Mystery Man: Oh my god, that is disgusting!
Prince wipes the spit away and stares at Toni who has a maniacal smile across her face, then out of the blue Prince hits her with a roundhouse kick. Harvey comes into the ring and grabs Prince. Catching him off guard Harvey hits Prince with a Kneeling reverse piledriver. Suddenly Stitches, who has came into the ring, pulls Harvey's hair and into a back breaker onto his knee. The referee grabs Stitches and tries to get him out of the ring. Steel is the next to come into the ring, he runs over and catches Stitches with a discus clothesline. The crowd are cheering as Harvey tries to help Mr.USA to his feet.
Mystery Man: This is utter choas, i have no idea who's ment to actually be in the ring!
FBI: President Mac needs to stop penny pinching and hire some decent referees.
Mystery Man: You get in there and do it then!
FBI: I would but this chair is so comfy and i don't want to run the risk of having Toni Gunns saliva on me!
Steel gets Mr.USA to the corner and tags himself in. The refree has managed to get the Moor Murders and Stitches out of the ring. Prince is getting to his feet as Steel grapples up with him. Steel lifts Prince up for a brainbuster but midair Prince rakes the eyes of Steel, who drops him to floor. Prince kicks Steel in the gut and plants him on the mat with a double arm DDT. Prince then climbs up the top turnbuckle and leaps off, performing a perfect five star frog splash on Steel. Prince pins Harvey. The ref counts...
One....
Two....Kickout by Steel.
Mystery man: Steel manageing to get the shoulder up!
Hanks: I have never seen a 6 foot 6 monster hit a five star frog splash that well before! That's impressive.
Prince wastes no time, tagging Stitches into the match. Prince holds Harvey by the arms as Stitches kicks him a few times in the gut and then slaps him across the face. Prince lets out a crazy laugh as he goes back to his corner. Stitches hooks Steel and lifts him up in the air hitting him with the The Crimson Arrow! Stitches then locks Steel up in The Carnival Pretzel!
Mystery man: The carnival Pretzel its gonna be all over here!
Steel can't hold on much longer as Stitches applies more pressure to the hold. Toni Gunn gets into the ring, the ref jumps up and stop her. Toni argues with the ref as he tries to get her back to her corner.
Hanks: Toni Gunn needs to get out of the ring!
Steel taps out as Stitches keeps the Carnival Pretzel locked in but the referees back is turned!
Mystery man: Harvey Steel is tapping out! This match should be all over!
With the refs back turned, Prince is suddenly pulled off of the ring apron by Harvey Yorke. Harvey grabs Prince and whips him off of the steel steps. In the ring, Stitches lets go of Steel who is out cold. Stitches gets to his feet as The ref is still dealing with Toni Gunn. Harvey Yorke slides in the ring, he has the brass knuckles on! Harvey Yorke spins Stitches around and hits him with A Call for Blood, before he takes the knucks off and throws them out of the ring. Harvey then pulls Stitches over his corner as Toni gets out of the ring.
FBI: what intelligence by Harvey Yorke!
Hanks: What you call intelligence i call cheating.
With Stitches dazed and confused, Toni Gunn tags him and then she gets in the ring, quickly moving in on a downed Steel. With Steel still lying on the mat, Toni hits the Disembowler on him before pinning him. As Mr.USA gets in the ring to break the count Harvey Yorke runs over and dropkicks him back into the corner. The ref counts...
ONE.....
TWO....
THREE!!!!!!
DING DING DING
Dobrev: Your winner and still tag team champions.... Harvey Yorke, Toni Gunn.... the Moors MURRRDDDEEEERRRRSSSSSSSS!!
Harvey and Toni grab there tag titles and get out of the ring. Prince and Stitches get into the ring and crowd the ref, complaining and shouting at him. Stitches slaps his hand three times, telling the ref that they had the win. Toni and Harvey stop at the top of the ramp and hold the tag titles up high as they celebrate. Stitches and Prince watch on, clearly angry.
Hanks: That was an injustice! Harvey Steel was tapping out, Stitches and Prince should be the tag champs!
FBI: Yeah but there not because love them or hate them the Moors Murders know how to win ugly. They will do whatever it takes to keep those tag belts.
Mystery Man: Something tells me this isn't over by a long shot! Next up folks it's the one you've all been waiting for, it's main event time!
The screen suddenly cuts to black as a low, discordant pipe organ starts to play. We fade in on an old book filled with strange, archaic symbols and writing, its parchment-like pages flipping rapidly of their own accord, rustling like a plague of locusts.
This goes on for several long seconds, the crackling of the flipping pages growing louder as the organ gets heavier, its tuneless dissonance becoming violently eratic. Just when the cacophony of noise threatens to overwhelm, everything cuts to black and silence once more, closely followed by the words:
"IT HAS BEEN FOUND.
ITS POWER GROWS STRONGER.
HE IS COMING."
Cut to black again, but only for the briefest of moments before regular broadcasting resumes.
EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT LADDER MATCH
Eddie Crank
VS Ace King
VS Drake
Hanks: What a show it's been tonight. Night of Champions has been one to remember. Titles have been retained, one title has changed hands and now the Undisputed title hangs from the rafters.
Mystery Man: We've got a triple threat ladder match to decided who walks out of Greensboro with the ultimate prize.
FBI: And I pray that finally .. it's not Drake.
Greensboro Coliseum is plunged into complete darkness, and the crowd buzzes. After about 10 seconds of silence, a pair of spotlights spring to life, illuminating a pair of 30-foot-tall house of cards standing on either side of the stage. After a few more seconds, a harmonica hails the opening to an acoustic version of ‘Ace of Spades.’
A third spotlight kicks in, and after a few seconds of anticipation, the crowd erupts as an incredibly-focused Ace King walks out with Shelley Silver, stopping briefly to take a deep breath and look around at the incredible scene unfolding before them.
Nina Dobrev: Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Shelley Silver… FROM Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 225 pounds… He is The Gambler... ACE... KIIIIIIIIIIING!!!
A loud applause follows as the spotlight on Ace and Shelley fades away almost completely between the two houses of cards, but not before Ace retrieves a matchbook from his boot. He strikes two matches, handing one to Shelley. After a long look at each other, they each throw a match onto a house of cards, setting both of them ablaze.
Ace bows his head and closes his eyes; he takes Shelley’s hand as the houses of cards burn on either side of them. After a few seconds, he raises his head once more, and he and Shelley calmly walk down to the ring, their arms outstretched to greet fans while never looking back at the twin blazes burning behind them. They pause again just before getting to the ring; Ace bows his head once more to take in the following acapella verse:
You know I’m born to lose,
And gambling’s for fools,
But that’s the way I like it, baby
I don’t wanna live forever
But apparently I am
Once the music kicks back in, Ace raises his head to give a piercing glare at the ladders surrounding the ring, then up to the rafters from which the Undisputed Championship will hang.
He then turns his attention to Shelley, nodding softly before kissing her and rolling into the ring under the bottom rope, simply waving to acknowledge the ovation he’s receiving. He takes a deep breath and tests the ropes before retreating to a corner.
I see it in your eyes, take one look and die
The only thing you’ll see, you know it’s gonna be,
The Ace of Spades.
The Ace of Spades.
The song very slowly fades out as Ace closes his eyes for a precious few additional seconds as smoke envelopes him; as he opens his eyes again
Dobrev: Introducing the second challenger from Dublin, Ireland. Weighing in at 165 pounds. The EWC X-Division Champion, EDDIE CRANK!
Dobrev: And now, introducing their opponent. From Brooklyn, New York. Weighing in at 210 pounds. He is the EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPION. DRAKE!
Explosions rocket from the stage, catching the fans off guard as "The Sounds of Madness" by Shinedown begins to play! Stepping into view, Drake runs to the end of the stage and crouches, looking out into the sea of fans. There is a sarcastic smile on his face, as he shakes his head, overwhelmed by the fans around him!
Nodding his head, Drake hops up to his feet and cranks his arm. He then heads down the rampway and runs towards the ring as the fans cheer him on. His dark pupils stare at the ring as the arena explodes around him. Arriving at ringside, Drake hops up to the ring apron and remains in place.. looking out at the fans around him. He then walks along the outside of the ring and ascends the turnbuckle, looking out at the fans as they offer their support! Drake slowly unbuckles his championship and raises it above his head for all to see!
Nodding his head once again, Drake enters the ring and slowly struts around, his arms held out as he soaks up the fans' responses. His theme song slowly fades out as Drake ascends a turnbuckle, finding a seat on the top pad. The fans continue to cheer as the theme song comes to an end.
Mystery Man: And it's finally here ladies and gentlemen! Night of Champions Main Event. A triple threat ladder match for EWC's most coveted title.
FBI: Let the games begin.
DING! DING! DING!
As soon as the bell sounds, both Eddie Crank and Drake put the boots to Ace King. Crank knocks Ace back into the ropes with a straight left kick and both men whip him across the ring. King bounces off the ropes and returns to a double clothesline that sends him to mat.
Eddie and Drake come face-to-face and quickly engage in a collar and elbow tie-up. Drake pushes Eddie back into the ropes and nails him with a backhanded chop. Drake reels back for another but Eddie quickly drops down and slides out of the ring. Drake points at Eddie, telling him to get back in and fight but Eddie smiles and points to his head.
Hanks: Looks like one champion wants to the fight and the other wants to run.
FBI: The Whizzer opened the show tonight in a triple threat match. He deserves a little breather.
Ace King grabs Drake from behind and slams him with a german suplex. Ace quickly stays on the champion, knocking him back to the mat with a clothesline. Drake gets back to his feet but is hit with a dropkick that sends him to the outside floor.
Suddenly a ladder get slid into the ring and Eddie Crank hops on the apron. King turns his attention to Crank but misses a clothesline. Eddie ducks under and hits King with a shoulder to the midsection. Eddie springboards off the ropes and connects with a superman punch that drops King to the mat.
Eddie picks up the ladder and sets it up in the center of the ring. He begins to climb up the ladder but Drake slides into the ring and pushes Eddie off. The two men exchange strikes with Eddie gaining the upper hand. Eddie dodges a right hand and hits Drake with a series of punches to the midsection. Eddie goes for a headbutt but Ace King knocks him back with a shoot kick to the chest. Eddie falls back into the ropes and Drake comes flying in with a roundhouse kick that knocks Eddie to the outside floor.
Drake turns around and gets met with a clothesline from King that sends him over the ropes and crashing to the floor next to Crank. Both men slowly get to their feet as Ace King comes flying over the ropes with a corkscrew moonsault that connects with Drake. Eddie Crank dives out of the way at the last second while King and Drake stay down on the floor.
Mystery Man: Ace King putting his body on the line for the Undisputed Championship!
Hanks: That was one hell of a move. Eddie was smart to get out of the way.
King slowly climbs to his feet but gets drilled with a ladder to the face as Crank comes running in like a battering ram. Crank tosses a second ladder into the ring but as he climbs onto the apron, Drake grabs his foot and pulls him into a clothesline that sandwiches him into the apron. Crank falls to the floor and Drake slides into the ring.
Drake picks up a ladder and leans it up against the turnbuckles. He grabs the second ladder and sets it up in the center of the ring but before he can climb King swings him around into a straight right hand. Drake gets knocked back onto the ladder while King digs into him with a european uppercut. King grabs ahold of Drake and whips him into the ladder up against the turnbuckle. Drake crashes into the ladder and both fall to the mat.
Drake slowly rolls out of the ring and King kicks the ladder out with him. He turns around and climbs the ladder under the belt. Crank quickly climbs up the other side and catches King with a left hand that stops him from grabbing the title. Crank connects with another left hand before sliding both feet through the ladder and knocking King off the other side. King lands on his feet and Crank jumps down with a double axe handle. King catches Crank mid-air and slams him into the mat with a spinebuster.
Ace brings Eddie back to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Eddie suddenly gets pulled out of the ring by Drake and knocked to the floor with a roundhouse kick.
Mystery Man: You need eyes behind your head to survive this match. These guys are relentless.
FBI: Why are they picking on Eddie? This is a triple threat!
Ace comes flying over the ropes with another moonsault but crashes into the guard rail as Drake moves out of the way. Drake takes in a deep breathe and a grin appears across his face.
FBI: The Gambler living up to his name.
Hanks: Big risk doesn't always equal big reward.
Mystery Man: Drake looks very pleased with himself. I wouldn't doubt he baited King into that one.
Drake slides into the ring and makes his way up the ladder. He's stopped in his tracks as Eddie drills him in the back with a steel chair.
Mystery Man: Where did Eddie get that steel chair from?
FBI is shown standing behind the commentary table.
FBI: I'm not sure where he found it. But the Whizzer's looking ontop of his game.
Another chair shot echoes through the crowd and Drake falls to the mat. Eddie slams the chair into Drake's mid-section before tossing it to the side and climbing up the ladder. Ace rolls into the ring and pulls Eddie off the ladder. Eddie sends a spin kick Ace's way but he ducks down and chop blocks Eddie's opposite leg. He rolls Eddie up and pulls his leg back into a single-leg boston crab.
Hanks: Nice counter by Ace! He's got Eddie Crank in a serious bind here. Grabbing those ropes won't help him.
Eddie winces in pain as King twists his leg like a pretzel. Suddenly Drake comes into the picture, grabbing ahold of King's head and planting him with a jumping neckbreaker.
Hanks: Drake out of nowhere hitting Ace with Maximum Overdrive!
Mystery Man: This is an all-out war. All three men are down. Nobody's been able to take control of this match.
Drake is the first man to his feet and slowly climbs up the ladder. Eddie Crank jumps on his back and locks in a rear naked choke. Drake holds onto the ladder as Crank wraps his legs around Drake's waist. Ace King slowly climbs up underneath Drake, picking them both up on his shoulders. King falls back off the ladder into an electric chair drop and all three men crash into the mat.
Hanks: What a show of strength there by Ace! Looks like Eddie took the brunt of that impact.
Drake falls ontop of Crank and the impact sends Drake out of the ring. Ace gets to his feet and slowly climbs up the ladder. He makes his way to the top and reaches for the Undisputed title. Suddenly Drake springboards off the ropes and onto the ladder. He drills Ace in the midsection with a couple of forearm shots. Ace returns with a straight right of his own and the two men exchange punches at the top of the ladder.
Ace knocks Drake back with a european uppercut and somersaults over the ladder, pulling Drake to the mat with a bone-chilling neckbreaker.
Mystery Man: Ace King might have broken the champion in two! Crazy neckbreaker off the top of the ladder!
FBI: That was insane.
Eddie Crank gets back to his feet and notices both men down on the mat. He sets the ladder up under the belt and makes his way to the top. He reaches for the title but King pushes the ladder over and Crank goes flying to the outside floor. Crank lands and rolls back to his feet.
Hanks: Eddie Crank showing great body control, landing on his feet there.
FBI: Like a damn cat.
Ace places the ladder back in the center of the ring and climbs up. Eddie Crank hops onto the apron and springboards into a flying knee that connects with Ace's face and knocks him off the ladder. Both Ace and the ladder fall to the mat while Eddie lands on his feet.
Ace King rolls out of the ring and Drake comes in from behind and grabs Crank. He attempts a german suplex but Crank breaks the hold with a back elbow. Crank goes for a straight right kick but Drake catches it and spins him around. Drake swings for a clothesline but Crank ducks under and whips Drake into the ropes. Crank goes for spinning back elbow but Drank dodges and bounces off the ropes again. This time he nails Crank with a flying forearm smash that knocks the Whizzer off his feet.
Both men scramble up and Crank side-steps a dropkick from Drake. Drake gets to his feet and is hit with a flurry of right and left punches from Crank, followed by a headbutt that sends Drake into the corner.
Eddie Crank rushes Drake but a bloody Ace King slides into the ring and drills Eddie in the head with a steel chair. Eddie drops to the mat like a sack of potatoes and falls out of the ring. Ace tosses the chair out of the ring, looking pleased with his work.
Mystery Man: Payback is a bitch. That steel chair shot rang throughout the Coliseum.
Hanks: The Flying Dubliner really caught Ace King good. His face is busted up pretty badly.
King turns around and gets knocked to the mat by a missle dropkick from Drake off the top rope. Drake quickly to his feet, rushes King and takes him back down with a running neckbreaker.
Eddie gets to his feet with a fresh gash and blood running down his face. He picks up a ladder and walks toward the ring. Drake baseball slides toward Eddie and kicks the ladder into his face. Eddie and the ladder fall to the floor while Drake uses the ropes to pull himself up. Ace King nails him in the back with a running elbow. King grabs ahold of Drake and drops him a ladder with a tiger suplex.
Mystery Man: What a nasty suplex from King! They are really using those ladders to full effect.
Ace peels Drake off the ladder and tosses him out of the ring. Ace slowly sets up the ladder in the center of the ring and makes his way up the steps. Eddie Crank slides another ladder in the ring and starts to climb opposite of Ace.
King reaches for the title but Crank stops him with a left hand. King returns with a punch of his own but Crank dodges and counters with a headbutt. Crank grabs a stunned King and pulls him off the ladder into a facebuster. Both men fall onto the ladder that Crank slid in and the impact echoes throughout the arena.
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Ace falls out of the ring in serious pain while Crank stays down on the mat. Drake rolls back into the ring and slowly climbs up the ladder. He reaches for the belt but Crank pushes the ladder over. Drake lands on his feet but is hit with a series of body shots from Crank. Drake doubles over, Crank bounces off the ropes and hits him with a scissors kick. Drake drops to the mat and Crank picks up a ladder. Ace King comes flying in with a dropkick to the ladder that sends Crank through the ropes and to the outside floor.
Ace picks up the ladder and leans it up against the turnbuckle. He stomps down on the back of Drake, before bringing him to his feet and setting him up in the opposite corner. Ace goes for an irish whip but Drake blocks with a kick to Ace's gut. Drake strikes with a strong right hand to the face and pulls him down into the turnbuckle with a reverse STO.
Drake gets back to his feet and sets up a ladder under the belt. He slowly climbs up toward the title while Eddie Crank slides into the ring and goes up the other side. Crank knocks Drake back with a straight left hand. Drake holds onto the ladder and returns with a forearm to the chest of Crank. Ace King slowly gets to his feet as the two champions exchange punches and Ace places a second ladder next to theirs.
Ace slowly climbs up the ladder while Eddie hits Drake with left hand to the midsection. Ace stands next to Eddie on the ladder and they begin to exchange punches. Eddie slips a right hand from Ace and counters with the Dethroning. Ace falls to the mat and the momentum sends Crank off the ladder. Drake gathers himself and climbs to the top while Eddie quickly climbs on the ladder next to him. Eddie kicks Drake's ladder over while Drake leaps into the air and hangs onto the cable connected to the belt. He swings back toward Eddie and kicks him off the ladder. Drake unhooks the Undisputed Title and falls to the mat.
DING! DING! DING!
Dobrev: Your winner... and STIIIIIIIILLLL... the EWC Undisputed Champion... DRAKE!!!!
Mystery Man: And Drake retains his title. That was a crazy match with all three men giving their all for the gold. Night of Champions never disappoints.
Hanks: What a night. What a match. The fans were in for a real treat.
Drake smiles as he looks down at the mat! The fans stand up and cheer, offering their support at deafening audio levels!
Hanks: There can be no arguments now... no more doubts. Drake is truly our EWC Champion! No matter the roadblocks before him, regardless of the talent, he continues to overcome the competition that is placed before him! This is his moment, and possibly the greatest moment of his career. He deserves this.
FBI: That's right. For the most part of his career, Drake has had to live in the shadows of EWC Hall of Famer, Xplode. Finally, that time is over. We are looking at the face of the company, and the name of the industry in that ring. Great job, Drake. Congratulations on yet another title defense.
Drake slowly stands up, flipping the title over his shoulder. The fans continue to cheer as he asks for a microphone. One is handed to him and his theme song slowly pipes down.
Drake: Can I have a moment?
The fans cheer for a bit longer then slowly comply...
Drake: Thank you.
Drake paces the ring with the championship slung over his shoulder. He stops in the center and turns to the cameras.
Drake: Two weeks ago, I experienced a period of self doubt. The whole idea of me not being able to live up to Xplode's legacy finally got to me. It caused me to forget who I was, and what this championship means, not only to the EWC... but to you... the fans. I am sorry for that. That should never have happened. I was lost... but as you can see, not anymore. Even though I felt alone, I really never was. I HAD YOU... THE FANS... BY MY SIDE... FOR YET ANOTHER CHAPTER OF MY STORY!!!
The fans stand up and cheer!!
Drake: THANK YOU, EWC!! THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME WHEN I DIDN'T DO IT MYSELF!!
The entire arena is ear piercing as the fans offer their support!!
Drake: I will never doubt myself again, this much I promise you all. I want to thank my opponents tonight, Eddie Crank and Ace Heart. Without them, I never would have come full circle like I have. I am now a much stronger champion for facing them. I understand now that the only legacy that truly matters... is not mine... and not Xplode's. It isn't anyone in the locker rooms either. It's about the EWC... and the fans that support it. This title defense... is for all of you.
The arena erupts once more as Drake raises the championship over his head in victory!!! Fireworks emit from the corners of the ring as his theme song plays loudly!
Mystery Man: There you have it folks .. Night of Champions XIV is now over .. lets let the crowd play us out as they cheer on their EWC Champion .. Drake
