PRIME!
PRIME!
Fireworks blast across the stage as the fans scream in delight.
A thick layer of fog circles the arena, and camera flashes repeatedly strobe the area!
The camera feed pans to different areas in the arena and we see fans cheering in excitement!
The camera captures fans from the various arenas and then the thick fog begins to disappear as the fans pump their fists in the air.
Pyros blasts off the ring posts all across the globe as the various fans cheer for the show about to be on display!
Eva Leurox: Good evening, everyone, and welcome to Prime! I'm Eva Leurox, and joining me as always is Nessa Reeve. And we've got a great show for you tonight!
Nessa Reeve: We sure do, Eva! The G1 Qualifiers are well underway, and I have been informed that our GMs will be further explaining what the G1 will entail on the next episode of Prime!
Leurox: Indeed! While the basic format of there being points for wins, losses, and draws will be there, it wouldn't be like Marshall Evans to want to put his own spin on things.
Reeve: Ha, ain't that the truth! But anyway, we've got four qualifiers that all promise to bring the heat! Jordan Sharpe will be taking on Nevaeh, Killjoy Ito will be facing Jonty Kelly, El Pablo is going up against Aeon Khronos, and Stitches and Shotaro Hashimoto round out the matches we'll be seeing tonight.
Leurox: And we also can't forget our main event, where Richard Garcia will try to topple the Indy Champion herself, Candy!
Reeve: Candy is riding a sweet wave of momentum both as Indy Champ and the Undisputed Champion, so a win over her would be huge for Richard!
Leurox: And speaking of huge, before the qualifying matches, Walter Melon will be going toe-to-toe with Frankie Romono in what I think will be a contender for match of the night!
Reeve: Every match tonight has that potential, Eva.... and that includes our opener, which we'll be going to after this commercial break!

THE SYNDICATE Vs
MYSTERY OPPONENTS
MYSTERY OPPONENTS
Live from the Figali Convention Center, Panama City, Panama
DING DING DING
While the local talent, a couple of fresh-faced young men called the Cortez Brothers, were arrogant as they showboated their way down the ramp and into the ring, that arrogance did not last them for long... not when one of them, Eduardo, made the mistake of making a vulgar gesture in Lexie Glass's direction. Kristian Bane took great exception to the show of disrespect, snatching up the offender and all but hurling him across the ring as if he were a lawn dart. Such was an omen of the match to come, with Eduardo getting worked over mercilessly by the monstrous Bane before he hit a modified stunner in his team's corner, letting Glass tag herself in to hit an elbow drop from the top rope to complete the DTB!
Lexie scored a two count before Fernando rushed into the ring, breaking up the pin with a double axehandle to the back.
The referee separating the teams gave Eduardo the chance to tag in his brother... who was quick to jump Glass from behind, stopping her from tagging in her partner. As the crowd jeered, Fernando did his best to take advantage of the size advantage he held over Lexie. At one point, he tangled his fingers in her hair and yanked her hair back, talking trash about how he was going to send her back to the kitchen, but because he was so focused on running his mouth, she was able to rake the eyes and free herself. Fed up with the disrespect she had been forced to endure, Glass tagged Bane before holding Fernando up by his hair, setting him up perfectly for the big boot from her partner, That's Baneful connecting with authority! Bane went for the pin after that, Glass rushing the ropes to knock Eduardo off of the apron as the referee made the three count!

WINNER: THE SYNDICATE VIA PINFALL
Leurox: A dominant showing from The Syndicate!Reeve: That's got to be a boost of momentum for them both, especially for Kristian since I've heard that his G1 qualifier will be on the next episode of Prime!
Leurox: Oh yeah? Against who?
Reeve: Now that.... I don't know. I'm sure we'll find out soon, though!
The camera cuts to where Frankie Romono is pacing around backstage at the Salle Moulay Abdella, shadow boxing as he awaits his match. It's clear that he's motivated, though when a familiar voice from behind him brings him back to reality?
Hayley Kushnir: Mr. Romono, a second of your time.
Frankie sighs. He already knows what the Assistant GM wants as she comes up alongside of him, and he knows full well that it is deserved.
Frankie Romono: Ma'am, before yous say anything... I know what I did was wrong. Yous won't hear any arguments from me. Even in the heat of the moment, I never should have slapped you... and for what it's worth, I'm sorry.
Hayley quirks a brow, surprise briefly flickering in her gaze before she's rediscovering her poise and nodding in response.
Hayley Kushnir: For what it's worth, I accept your apology and I'm ready to move on. That doesn't change the fact that you assaulted me. I should fire you on the spot. I should declare Walter the winner via forfeit, and have you escorted to the airport and sent home in coach with a kid kicking your seat the entire way. I should...
A pause; she shakes her head.
Hayley Kushnir: But I won't.
Frankie looks at her with confusion for a second.
Hayley Kushnir: That's right, Mr. Romono. I won't fire you... but I am going to fine you two thousand dollars. And if you ever put your hands on anyone else who is not another wrestler, I will fire you without a moment's hesitation. That is a promise.
Frankie Romono: I would expect nothing less ma'am.
Frankie extends his hand... and after a moment's pause, Hayley reaches out and shakes it with a wry smile.
Hayley Kushnir: And if you call me ma'am again, I will fine you another two grand. Now I believe you have a match to prepare for. Good luck.
Frankie nods his acceptance as he releases her hand, the Assistant GM leaving him to his preparations as the camera cuts to ringside.

WALTER MELON Vs
FRANKIE ROMONO
FRANKIE ROMONO
Live from the Salle Moulay Abdellah, Rabat, Morocco
DING DING DING
The match opened up with Frankie trying to get a handshake out of Walter. The crowd was supportive of this gesture, but Walter just stared at his hand for a while before batting it away, earning boos. Frankie's face contorts with anger and he charges in with a huge haymaker, but Walter ducks out of it. This continues for a while, with Frankie attempting to use big power moves to crush Walter but Walter worming his way out, getting a few hits in on the way. Things came to a halt when Walter went for a charging lariat and Frankie caught him with a Sicilian Drop.
Frankie took control for a while, trying to pound Walter into fruit pulp, but after he hit a big twisting spinebuster, he waited for Walter to get up so he could hit one of his trademark running knees, and that was all the opening Walter needed. When Frankie leapt, Walter caught him in a Fireman's carry, then dropped him with a Detonation Kick he calls Spitting Seeds! Right after, Walter tried to get Frankie to tap to the Anaconda Choke, screaming about tasting Juicy Fruit and meeting the Melon gods for himself, but Frankie was able to reach the bottom rope. Frankie would eventually hit a flying knee, earning a gasp, then cheers from some of the fans, but as he went to follow up with a Romanobomb, Walter reversed the powerbomb into a big DDT! The crowd booed as he went to the top rope, then came crashing down on Frankie with a double stomp Fruit Smash. This finally got him the pin and a victory.

As Nevaeh stands before the camera from the backstage area of the National Taiwan University Sports Center, she doesn't waste any time in speaking.
Nevaeh: So Jordan, as we get closer to doing battle...I just have one important question to ask you. Have you gotten your head in the game? Because if you haven't, I'm going to knock it clear off your shoulders.
Nev smirks.
Nevaeh: Actually I'm going to do that anyway!
Nev snickers to herself.
Nevaeh: Just something for you to think about before you walk out to your own demise.
This time Nev laughs outright as she walks out of view.
Leurox: Romono's going to be sore after that one!
Reeve: That's putting it lightly. For being in as rough of shape as he was, though, Frankie put forth a valiant effort.
Leurox: And while he can be proud of that, Walter walks out of here with the W.

NEVAEH Vs
JORDAN SHARPE
JORDAN SHARPE
Live from the National Taiwan University Sports Center, Taipei, Taiwan
DING DING DING
Despite being nearly double her weight, Jordan was outclassed early on. The crowd, mostly university students, didn't know how to react as Nevaeh spun into a back fist that knocked Jordan on back into the turnbuckle corner to start this bout. Nevaeh's disgust was thinly veiled as she put a boot against his throat. Referee Stefan Elliott nearly disqualified this bombshell before she relinquished the hold before the five count. Sharpe got a knee and shook his head. Nevaeh gritted her teeth at this and then hammered him with roundhouse kicks to the chest, and even one that busted open JFS's lip. She went for one more, but the audience gasped in shock as Sharpe caught her by the leg and stood up. With some much-needed aggression, Sharpe tossed her through the air with a capture suplex.
Nevaeh retreated to the corner only to get The Freaking boot from Sharpe for a two count.
Jordan fought and fought with clotheslines and dropkicks but Nevaeh showed her experience edge by reversing his Ode to Milo with a hurricanrana! Much to Nevaeh's surprise, JFS spun out of the Fall from Grace and tried to sink that Sharpeknife deep into her back. Nevaeh broke free and jacked Jordan's jaw with an elbow to the jaw. Despite, JFS' comeback in this bout, Nevaeh sent him to his Fall from Grace with an emphatic three count.

WINNER: NEVAEH VIA PINFALL
Leurox: Nevaeh appears to be free of rust as she secures her spot in the G1!
Reeve: And Sharpe's downward spiral continues. What happened to the man that once set Prime on fire?
Leroux: I wish I knew, Nessa. I wish I knew.
Reeve: Maybe this will be the kick in the pants he needs to get his act together. A girl can hope!

The camera opens backstage in the Valby-Hallen arena as 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love walks through a narrow hallway and into Killjoy's locker room and comes to a stop as shock and a hint of annoyance washes over his face...
'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love: What the hell are you doing here?
The camera fades out to show Jun Yao sitting on a couch with two ladies on either side of him but it's Sasaki, who was standing next to the couch that approaches Tommy...
Sasaki: Tommy, we stopped in Paris and decided to stay a little and come watch Killjoy tonight...I want to say we...
And Sasaki pauses and looks back at Jun Yao before looking back at Tommy...
Sasaki: We were really pleased with Killjoy's performance at the Rumble in the Bronx, 9th place was amazing...
Jun Yao: It was a nice way to bounce back from his last few matches...
The two looks towards Jun as he pats the ladies on their legs and gets to his feet, he adjusts his jacket and walks towards Tommy and Sasaki...
Jun Yao: But that was last week's news, tonight we are on the cusp of history as Prime brings the legendary G1 to the EWC and for the first time it is done outside of Japan...I heard you talk about the G1 and the importance of this tournament, I am happy you understand the importance of what this means to us...the Japanese people and what a win here tonight would do for Killjoy back home...
Sasaki: It's the talk of the country Tommy, people streaming this match like they did with Japan in the World Cup...they were mad when Prime launched this but they want to have a rooting interest...
Jun Yao: So Killjoy needs to qualify for the G1...then he needs to be a factor...you understand what I'm saying right?
'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love: Listen, I know what this damn tournament means to you folks, I saw Killjoy light up when he heard the news of the Prime G1, he has a different skip to his step this week and has been all business. He told me about his dad taking him to see G1 matches as a kid and how all he ever wanted to do in this business is to win a G1...more than championship. He dreamed of one day competing in this tournament and now here it is and all that is standing in his way is this kangaroo clown Jonty Kelly...
Jun Yao: Do not look past this guy, Tommy it's one of your many flaws, you look past someone with heart, with something to prove...Killjoy will be fighting with emotion out there tonight but you need to understand that Jonty Kelly isn't going to lay down out there...
Sasaki: You need to be there for Killjoy to MAKE SURE he advances...by any means necessary...you know what I mean right?
Tommy shakes his head...
'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love: Guys, this is Jonty Kelly, not Stitches or Candy, he is a bottom feeder of the Prime roster. I know he's trying to convince people he has a shot...and clearly it worked on the simple minded folks but the fact remains he's Jonty Kelly, he didn't get better overnight, he's still the man who flopped at Prime #037, he's still the man that got tossed out of the RITB in 28th place...he didn't even make the top half let alone the top ten like Killjoy did so relax...you didn't just stop in Paris and decide to stay a little longer...you are here to make sure I do my job and I am not about to have the two of you breathing down my neck week in and week out, I'm here to do my job...to make sure Killjoy Ito qualifies for the G1 and that gets done tonight...so I'm guessing the four of you...
And Tommy looks at the two younger ladies who are with Jun...
'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love: Who are ALL clearly wrestling fans have tickets for the show tonight, so allow me to suggest you all go find your seats before Killjoy sees you hear and we have to make up a lie on the spot to cover all just how 'invested' you both are in his career and let me get him ready for this match...
Jun Yao looks at Tommy but Sasaki puts his arm around Jun and smiles...
Sasaki: Come on boss, lets get these fine ladies a few drinks and let Tommy do his job...
He turns to Tommy and puts his hand on Tommy's cheek...
Sasaki: Good luck out there and remember...Killjoy qualifies no matter what...got it...
And with that he gives Tommy a smack on the face with a smile...
Sasaki: Ladies, Copenhagen has some of the finest beer in all of Europe, Jun break open the money bag...we are going to celebrate tonight...
Sasaki opens the doors as the two ladies and then Jun leave the locker room leaving Tommy there shaking his head, clearly annoyed with the 'guests' being there tonight.

KILLJOY ITO Vs
JOHNTY KELLY
JOHNTY KELLY
Live from the Valby-Hallen, Copenhagen, Denmark
DING DING DING
It was ring awareness that spared Killjoy from being pinned for the three-count, his left hand seizing the bottom rope shortly before the referee's hand came down for the third time.
Frustration at being denied a quick and decisive victory was quick to reveal itself as Kelly did his best to prevent Ito from even getting back to a vertical base, a few of those rib-shaking kicks being delivered before Ito snagged his opponent's foot. Fighting his way to his feet, Killjoy emphatically shook his head 'No.' before almost clotheslining Kelly right out of his boots! That began the swing of momentum back in the favor of the Young Lion who gave Jonty the sort of manhandling that he himself had received mere moments prior--the springboard forearm smash he called Kushu the exclamation point that sent his opponent crashing to the mat.
Despite his arrogant bearing throughout the bout, the fans cheered when Kelly kicked out at two since it meant the bout would keep going.
From there, the action continued at a hectic and breakneck pace, one that only intensified the longer that the bout went on as both men realized how hard they would need to fight to overcome the other. A rapid-fire exchange of near falls was brought to an abrupt end when Killjoy successfully caught Jonty in a roll-up near the ropes, Tommy Love reaching out and taking hold of Kelly's foot out of the referee's view to ensure that his client got the win he needed while getting nuclear levels of jeers in the process.

WINNER: KILLJOY ITO VIA PINFALL
Leurox: What an exciting night of action so far! Even if they're not in Italy right now, there's no denying that Killjoy Ito and Jonty Kelly set the arena on fire!
Leurox: Tommy Love just stole the win for Killjoy Ito, but is Killjoy even aware?
Reeve: Jonty definitely is. He looks mad, and I can't blame him!
Leurox: Neither can I!

Reeve: And with the way that match ended, I get the feeling that there's unfinished business that Jonty isn't gonna let go of--
The arena suddenly goes dark, the video screen displaying nothing but static.
Suddenly, an unexpected face comes into view, the crowd giving a mixed reaction at who appears.
Xavier Reid: Do not adjust your TV's...you are in fact seeing Xavier Reid on Prime TV and no this isn't to promote FSW's Uprising #008...no this has nothing to do with FSW and has everything to do with a statement made by your current GM Marshall Evans on a announcement collaborated with his co-GM Hayley Kushnir and of course I'm talking about the announcement of the Prime G1...
Xavier lets that set in for a second as he stares right into the camera.
Xavier Reid: A history making event that rivals FSW's Tournament of Power...an event I made the finals of but I regress...this isn't about the FSW or my achievements there...no this is about the Prime G1 and the announcement of the qualifying matches...and my intentions to qualify next week on Prime #039...
Xavier's eyes are still locked on the camera.
Xavier Reid: History is going to be made in 2019 here in Prime and I have asked for my shot...my shot to take part in the greatest wrestling tournament in our business...Evans could have said no...he could have made damn sure this would be open to only those on Prime but I made it known I wanted to be part of history...and I don't expect to be just handed a spot...put me against anyone in Prime...I'll earn my spot and leave no doubt in anyone's mind that I will be a factor if not a favor to win the Prime G1...
Xavier pauses for a second.
Xavier Reid: I'm about making history in this business...so this is just too good to pass up...so I will venture back out into the indies...I will travel all over the world...I will go through whoever you put in front of me but each and every member of the Prime roster better understand I'm not entering the G1 to just have a good showing...to collect a few points and call it a success...it's win or bust...that's how I approach this business and you will be seeing a new side of Xavier Reid...one you haven't seen in the FSW or in any EWC event...and that starts at Prime #039...so to whoever the unfortunate soul that is put in front of me with a spot in the G1 on the line...be ready...because I am unlike anyone you have ever faced before...I'm not coming to shake your hand or give you advice...I'm coming to go right through you...you have all been warned...see you at Prime #039...
And with that, the video fades to commercial break, Xavier's intensity the last thing the viewer sees as it does.

Live from the Superdomo in La Rioja, Argentina
DING DING DING
The match started with El Pablo offering Aeon Khronos some Skittles. Khronos glowers at him, but whether it's because of their past interactions or because he mistook it for some poisonous foodstuff from a far-off planet is anyone's guess. What isn't is how Pablo felt when Khronos slapped him across the face, earning boos from the crowd in Argentina. Pablo reacted by charging forward and whipping Khronos off his feet with a headscissors takedown! He kept the pace quick for several minutes with a lot of headscissors and arm drags and dropkicks until on one attempt at a springboard crossbody, Khronos nailed Pablo with a proper palm strike uppercut sort of thing that made him crash down to the canvas.
Khronos was able to control the pace after that, transitioning from a wristlock to a hammerlock. As soon as Pablo looked like he was going to break free, Khronos switched to a side headlock, and as soon as that looked dodgy, Khronos charged forward, driving Pablo's head into the mat with a good old-fashioned bulldog. He stuck the landing with a grounded side headlock that he wrenched on for a while, but El Pablo was able to wrap his legs around Khronos's head to pull him off. Khronos was able to roll backwards out of the headscissor and then stacked Pablo up on himself, trying to trap him in an Alligator Clutch! However, Pablo was able to kick out of The Paradox.
Khronos felt like he was still in control and set Pablo up in the Tiger Driver position, but before he could hit the Time Warp, Pablo struggled and flailed enough to free his arms to pull Khronos down in a Jackknife pin! Khronos kicks out just in time, but he never really recaptures control, and as he rushes at Pablo to cut him off, Pablo leaps up and wraps him up for the frankensteiner that turns into Taste the Rainbow! The crowd cheers as Pablo hooks the legs and earns a victory over the Time Wizard!

Reeve: It was close, though. And while Aeon might not have succeeded here, at least he's got the briefcase.
Leurox: Be that as it may, losing here has still gotta sting.
A man stands in a faintly lit room. Only the upper portion of his body is visible. He has long, black, unkempt hair with one white streak in the middle. He is wearing a black trench coat. He looks directly at the camera lens and begins to speak.
??: Hello. My name is Jason Lawrence.
He looks down, ashamed, as if mentioning his own name makes him uncomfortable. He slowly glances back up and begins to speak again.
Jason Lawrence: I see a lot of people in this business think they need to be someone. They try to be "larger than life." The problem is that no one is above reality. These people need to be cut down to size.
The camera zooms out a little, but nothing more around Jason is visible.
Jason Lawrence: Lots of wrestlers think they need to get noticed by the way they treat the paying customers. They either try to be overly nice to please the fans, or they try to be overly mean to offend them. It's not about that for me.
As Jason continues to speak, you can see him begin to get angry.
Jason Lawrence: Lots of wrestlers try to play some version of a character to get noticed. Why would I want to be a clown, for example? I'm not here to make people laugh, I'm here to wrestle.
Jason shakes his head slightly, and then focuses his attention back on the camera.
Jason Lawrence: I am me.
The camera begins to zoom in again. Jason's voice gets louder and louder with each statement.
Jason Lawrence: The pain I have experienced in my life has shaped who I am. And now, it is time to dish out that pain on all of the wrestlers in EWC that are in my way. And I'm not just talking about bumps and bruises, I'm talking about a different type of pain. I'm talking about pain that is both physical and emotional. I'm talking about pain that doesn't go away. I'm talking about pain that lasts much longer than a wrestling career. I'm going to make my opponents suffer to the point that they will never forget the day that they stepped in the ring with me, since it will define the entire rest of their life!
The camera has now zoomed in to the point where Jason's face takes up your entire screen.
Jason Lawrence: On the next episode of Prime, I will be making my EWC debut. You will all witness history. You will all witness the beginning of the era of Jason Lawrence.
The visual fades to black, fading back in on an overview of the crowd at the Bournemouth International Centren in the United Kingdom.

Vs SHOTARO HASIMOTO
Live from the Bournemouth International Centre, United Kingdom
DING DING DING
This G1 Qualifier from the UK had a lot of promise going into it. Shotaro Hashimoto had debuted with a victory over El Pablo, but since then he had the dubious distinction of being the first competitor eliminated in the Rumble in the Bronx. And Stitches? He has grown even more sinister since his devastating conquering of Frankie Romono. The enigmatic Chaos Wizard seemed to frustrate Stitches early on, refusing to engage and peppering the diabolical clown with kicks and quick reversals. However, when Hashimoto tried to step it up with a toast To The Chaos Wizard Youth, Stitches moved. The impact on the older competitor's knee was a turning point. Stitches systematically picked Shotaro apart for this mistake.
He pummeled him with The Lethal Lariat for a two count.
He laughed wickedly as he showed Hashimoto's Cheshire Smile. The Toyko native had to scratch and crawl to go towards the ropes only for Stitches to release the hold and to boot him in the head. The UK crowd at first was behind every comeback, but it was starting to become apparent that Shotaro was not ready for this clown. And despite a glimmer of hope when the Japanese megastar forced a rope break after Stitches' Sound of Silence, it wasn't long before the clown served up The Carnival Pretzel. Perhaps out of just mere self perseverance, The Chaos Wizard tapped lightly against Stitches' leg.
DING DING DING
WINNER: STITCHES VIA SUBMISSION
Leurox: That's got to be scary news for the others to qualify for the G1 thusfar!
Reeve: You're telling me. I hope everyone is paying close attention to the clown because Stitches looks like he's gonna be one of the men to beat!
From the backstage area of the Nelson Mandela Forum, Candy is standing with both the Indy and Undisputed Championships over each of her shoulders.
Candy: Pretty sweet, huh?
She asks with a smile as she admires one title, then the other, before returning her attention to the camera.
Candy: At Rumble in the Bronx, I defied the odds one more time and remained atop the Candy Castle as a dual champion. It was quite the moment. One that will have EWC talking for some time to come!
She sounds pleased with that.
Candy: But now it's time to keep the momentum going with a win here tonight on Prime. I know Richard Garcia isn't about to make that easy for me. It's going to be interesting to see how far he will go to get this win. Though just when he thinks he has it, I will prove that the Castle walls are still as strong as ever. My next Candy Crusher will see to that!
Candy nods.
Candy: Sorry, our story must continue this way. But I can't have Dominic Sanders getting any ideas. I know he'll be watching. So I need to keep the wins coming. Just something I must do leading into WrestleFest!
Candy pauses.
Candy: Hopefully, you can understand that. If not, it still doesn't change anything.
With that, Candy goes walking off as we fade.

RICHARD GARCIA
VS
CANDY
VS
CANDY
Leurox: It's time for tonight's main event, and it should be a good one.
Reeve: Candy has been on a tear as both Indy and EWC Undisputed Champion, but she has a tall order ahead of her in overcoming Richard Garcia.
Leurox: A tall order indeed, but not one she's incapable of, as she proved once again at Rumble in the Bronx, defeating former Undisputed Champion Luke Wolfe.
Reeve: Indeed, but afterwards, with that cowardly attack from Wolfe, I'm still worried that she might be out of it from that sickening chair shot. I guess we're going to find out.
The camera cuts to ringside with Damon Reed ready with a microphone.
Damon Reed: The following contest is our main event, and it is a non-title match scheduled for one fall!
'Live To Win' by Paul Stanley hits as the crowd get to their feet to await the man that is about to enter through the entrance curtains. Smoke billows through the entrance curtain and out onto the stage. The lights are dim and with every guitar riff during the first verse the lights flash in unison.
"Frustrated, degraded, down before you're done"
"Rejection, depression, can't get what you want"
"You ask me how I make my way"
"You ask me everywhere and why"
"You hang on every word I say"
"But the truth sounds like a lie"
"LIVE TO WIN!"
As soon as the song kicks in Richard Garcia bursts through the entrance curtains to an uproar from the crowd. The lights continue to flash in unison with the guitar riffs. Richard Garcia screams to the heavens above with excitement and then makes his way down the ramp, slapping the hands of the fans as he passes by.
Damon Reed: Introducing first, from Melbourne, Australia, weighing in at 213 pounds, the Phoenix Star...Richard Garcia!
Once Richard Garcia reaches the bottom of the ramp he rushes towards the ring and slides into the ring before climbing up to the nearest turnbuckle and spreading his arms out, eagle-winged and screaming in excitement.
Richard Garcia jumps off of the turnbuckle and pumps himself up whilst waiting for his opponent to enter the ring.
Leurox: Garcia looks like he's ready for a fight.
Reeve: That's good, because even if she's suffering some ill effects from that chair shot, Candy will be more than willing to give it to him.
Just as "I Want Candy" by Aaron Carter starts to play throughout the arena, fans immediately start to cheer as Candy emerges from the back all smiles as she does a little dance at the top of the stage. As Candy finishes showing off her moves, she stands at the top of the ramp for moment as she points to the championship around her waist, then at the one on one shoulder.
Damon Reed: His opponent, making her way to the ring from Candyland, please welcome your Indy and EWC Undisputed Champion...'The Sweet Treat'...CAAAAAANDYYYYYY!!
After her name is announced, Candy begins skipping her way down the aisle as she tags the outstretched hands along the way. She circles half the ring before climbing up on the apron. As she takes a seat on it, Candy blows a kiss into the crowd. She then lays back and rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. Once she's on her feet again, Candy unstraps the title from her waist and shows both off to the cheering crowd as she waits for her music to subside. Afterwards, she hands them off to a stagehand.
Leurox: Well she looks in high spirits right now.
Reeve: We'll see how long that lasts against a man like Garcia.
The official ensures that both Candy and Garcia are in their proper places, then he signals for the bell.
DING DING DING
The Italian fans are uproarious as Candy and Garcia circle each other around the ring. After a few moments, Garcia calls for a lock-up, which earns some chuckles from the crowd and also Candy, who is not unaware of how much size she's giving up to Garcia. Garcia shrugs, mouthing something that might have been "worth a shot" before beginning to circle again, looking for an opening. After a few more moments, he lunges in, trying to shoot the legs, but Candy punts him in the chin, then comes in with a forearm smash to the chin. It's tough for her to get leverage behind that, so she starts slamming her forearm into his chest, which is still high but not quite so much. She nails him a few times before he grabs her behind the head, positioning her for a suplex (and also stopping the assault on his pecs). But when he lifts her up, she twists around so she's behind him. She lands on her feet and Garcia whirls around, but Candy uses that momentum to drop him with a drop toe hold. The crowd cheers as she quickly follows up with a bulldog, grabbing Garcia as he gets up before he has his feet all the way under him. She finishes the combo with a quick split-legged leg drop that makes the fans cheer loudly as she twists quickly into a cover.

Garcia is quick to kick out!
Leurox: The champ showing her quickness early on, and it seems she hasn't lost a step.
Reeve: Garcia's no dummy though, and he'll make her lose a few if he can manage to get the pace slowed down more to his liking.
Candy is back to her feet quickly, and she looks like she's going to go for the Candy Cavity Removal, but when she grabs Garcia's head, he breaks the grip immediately and reaches up, grabbing Candy by the neck and leg and hauling her over his head in a huge T-Bone Suplex! As soon as she hits the canvas, Candy's back arches, but she is quick in trying to get back to her feet, but not quick enough, as Garcia comes over and rolls her back onto her back before grabbing her arm and sitting down and trying to lock in a cross armbar. The crowd starts murmuring as Candy grabs at her caught arm with her other hand, but Garcia is too much bigger for her to block and he pulls back into the armbar! She starts screaming in pain but she claws at the mat rather than tap out, and as she writhes in pain she starts twisting herself around, planting her feet and pushing herself slowly towards the outside of the ring. Garcia wrenches on the armbar as much as he can, but he can't stop Candy from eventually twisting and wriggling her way to the bottom rope, where the crowd reaches a crescendo and the official has to start counting him out.

Before three, Garcia lets Candy out of the armbar, and while she immediately reaches over to cradle the assaulted arm, she's still in the match.
Leurox: Garcia caught her, showing his wiles, but Candy showed us her toughness by refusing to let that armbar stop her.
Reeve: We know she's tough, but a body has to break at some point. You have to wonder how much damage that armbar actually did.
Candy pulls herself up with her one good arm while Garcia waits at the prescribed distance, with the official between him and Candy. She pulls herself up with her back to him and staggers back a little, her grip on the ropes loosening. Garcia takes the opening and charges forward, locking Candy in a full nelson before heaving her overhead again, this time in a Dragon Suplex! He bridges and goes for a cover.

Candy bucks herself up off her shoulders just in time! Garcia releases his grip on her and she rolls backwards over her neck to get on hands and knees. As she struggles to push herself up, more than usual because of her arm, Garcia gets himself set up the way he wants. As Candy makes a final heave to get herself up to her feet, he charges the ropes behind her and the crowd starts murmuring again as he looks set to hit Candy with a running version of his Dead Sea Drop, but just before he leaps, Candy whirls around and jumps up to meet him, foiling his attempt at Silencing the Cacophony by pulling him down in a high-impact jawbreaker! The crowd pops as Candy quickly scrambles into a cover.

Garcia kicks out!
Leurox: Candy surprising Garcia there and getting off the Candy Cavity Removal after all!
Reeve: Garcia's going to feel that in the morning. Wouldn't surprise me if he had a few less teeth after that.
Garcia is clenching his jaw as he lies on the canvas, looking up at the lights. He pounds the mat as he tries to get himself back in the match, but as he rolls onto his stomach, Candy is up on her feet already. She charges toward Garcia as he gets up to his feet, but whatever she was going for gets thwarted as Garcia takes his turn at catching Candy off guard, leaping up and pulling her down in his Wasted Sacrifice cutter! Candy's arms immediately go up to protect her head and neck when she hits the mat, and Garcia takes the opportunity to go for a cover.

Candy rolls a shoulder up just in time! He pounds the canvas again as the frustration starts to come out. He pulls Candy up roughly and hooks her for a suplex again, but with the look in his eyes and the cut-throat motion he makes across his throat, he looks like he's going for the end. But as he hauls Candy up for the Shouten he calls the Star-Crossed Prosperity, Candy reverses again, grabbing Garcia's head with the good arm and sailing over him, pulling him down to the canvas in an improvised Candy Crusher! The crowd roars as Candy covers, pulling at his legs as hard as she can.

DING DING DING
Damon Reed: Here is your winner...Candy!
Leurox: And the champion has done it!
Reeve: Garcia brought the fight to Candy, but he was unable to get the job done. That doesn't change how much heart he showed out there.
Leurox: Not at all, but if Candy has proven anything as of late, it's that she's got more heart than anyone else on the roster... and how strong that heart truly can be. Anyway, that's all the time we have for you tonight, see you next time on Prime as the G1 qualifiers continue. Goodnight!
