OCTOBER 17TH, 2018
LIVE! from the Cow Palace - Daly City, California
🎧🎵 WE RISE..... NEVER BACKING DOWN FROM A FIGHT 🎵🎧
"Rise"by Something Clever blasts in the arena as the show starts off with video footage detailing historic events that have taken place on Future Stars, From past champions like Jason Hunter, Dixie Dubois, Amis Shelton, Magdalena Lockheart; Otaki all standing underneath the old FSW logo... As pyro goes off the new Uprising logo crushes the old and the image of Otaki is replaced with that of Robina Hood before switching to newer stars like Scott Grayse, Leigh Matthews, Kortni Master, Lofa Lua, Kaden Kessler, Melody Melone and The Butcher; to more established stars like Marquee, Draco Lazarus, Sarah Roberts, James Larson, Matt Angel, Lexie Glass, Maurice Yensman and Smokey Jones...and Xavier Reid. In the final video transition, we see Smokey Jones' alter ego Decay defeating Reid to become the FSW Champion.
The camera pans around the loud and out of control audience many who are holding up signs for their favorites and even some of their not well liked. There are small chants and cheers breaking out around the crowd.
F.... S... DUBBAH
UPRISING!
The lights come back to full as the large video screen lowers from it's rafter home. The announcers are on standby and ready for the show to begin.
Jackson: Welcome, FSW faithful, to another exciting edition of Uprising, live from the Cow Palace here in Daly City. I’m Tom Jackson, joined as always by Todd Calloway…
Calloway: Where was everybody last night? Couldn’t have given me the memo that Wednesdays were the new thing?
Jackson: …and the legend herself, Ruthann Hunter.
Hunter: Yes, we are here for another sold out night of exciting action as FSW looks to send a competitor into the TV Title match at Hardcore Revolution. Tonight, we have a three way dance as Sarah Roberts, Melody Malone, and Robbie “Aire” Rayder butt heads for the privilege to represent our brand.
Calloway: And if that wasn’t enough, one of the faces of Megan Treamon will be taking on the only face of Xavier Reid to see who will be facing our champ in the main event of Hardcore Revolution!
Jackson: Exciting developments all around! But for right now, we will be sending it to the ring, where our very own Brandon Carter Banks is already in the ring.
The camera view changes and there is a very composed and sober look to the GM. He half-smiles at the adoring fans as the cheers reach their natural crescendo.
Banks: First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for making Uprising, and more importantly FSW, the show and brand that it has become. Without you, there is no ‘this.’
The fans graciously take a moment to applaud and start a few chants that ultimately end as quick as they began.
Banks: When I took over this position, I made it my goal to take this brand and elevate it from a perceived ‘minor-league’ to the other brands to the best damn brand in the company, nay, the world!
Another rousing round of congratulatory cheers erupt.
Banks: However, somewhere along the way, I failed you. I came in with high ideals but ultimately will end this year with a sad bit of news. The highly touted Faultlines PPV that I have been trying to champion will not be happening.
A chorus of boos ring out.
Banks: I know, I know. In the end, it was viewed as too risky by a lot of the higher ups. A few rumors came out about how the fan base of this brand was probably not big enough to support a stand alone FSW PPV.
More boos.
Banks: Coupled with a few lunatics defacing company property last week and the perception of it is, I have lost control of Uprising. In fact, as of now, the season finale of FSW is most likely my final show as GM as my contract is up and there looks to be zero faith in me going forward.
Banks pauses to let the realization sink in to the crowd. After a moment, he brings the mic back to his mouth.
Banks: Now a lot of those same rumors will tell you that the main event of Hardcore Revolution is the company throwing us a bone and it was given to us. I would like to squash that right now. Our champion and his two challengers have done an impressive amount of work and sacrifice to DESERVE that main event slot!
A groundswell of cheers and YOU DESERVE IT chants explode as Banks’ heart swells with pride.
Banks: And given that it appears my time may be up soon, I dare say I invited you, the FSW fans, to meet the challenge I am about to set for you! On November 28th, the season finale of Uprising will be no ordinary show. I am putting on a Pay-Per-View quality show, out of my own pocket, to prove to every doubting Thomas in the world that FSW is THE future of this business! If we fail, well, then it will be on me. But WHEN we succeed, it will be all because of you!
The crowd erupts again into a raucous frenzy of affirmation.
Jackson: Well, you heard the boss! The end of the year for FSW will be a sight to see!
Calloway: He probably should be saving that money for when he no longer works here.
Hunter: A major gambit but if he pulls it off, it could be huge for the company!
Jackson: Absolutely, Ruthann! We’ll be right back with our first match!

SHOW OPENER
LEXI GLASS
VS SCOTT GRAYSE
DING DING DING
The match started with a spark as Scott sprinted at Lexi and backed her into the corner with a stiff midsection kick. Scott would maintain the advantage for the first few minutes, even coming close to nailing Lexi with the Lights Out Superkick once or twice. Lexi started to come back but was stopped short by Scott and sheer power advantage. Scott hit a flapjack powerslam for a near fall, and then started laughing as he knew he had Lexi where he wanted her. Scott called for the Light's out and then... no! Lexi rolled under his leg and nailed Scott with a surprise German. Lexi would then take control of the match for the time being, stopping Scott before he could stand each time. Lexi eventually was able to lock on an STF, and Scott came close to tapping but powered through. Lexi landed a few other big moves before hitting a leg drop from the top rope for a two count. Lexi drug Scott up and hit him with another German... this time Scott rolled through and landed on his feet. Lexi turned around, right into a Lights Out!
The impact sent Lexi falling to her left out of the ring. Scott climbed onto the apron to follow her out. Scott dragged her back in and follows up with a Shattered Dreams and the pin.
DING DING DING
Gordon: Your winner, SCOTT GRAYSE!
Hunter: Great showing by both competitors. However, Grayse had the edge this time.
Jackson: That is the way to keep the eyes of the higher ups on you as we move into the end of the season!
Calloway: Hopefully, they keep this up and who knows? Stable Wars is on the horizon.
Jackson: We'll be right back with more Uprising!
The cameras pick up a very nervous Tlatoani Volando as he is walking backstage, his head is in constant movement, looking around in all direction as if he’s ‘looking’ for someone, he gets to the end of the hallway and very slowly peaks his head around the corner and exhales loudly as he sees nothing down the hallway, with one final glance behind him he turns the corner and RUNS towards the locker rooms as several FSW staff members looks at him oddly as he races by them…He reaches the locker room and slowly opens the doors and sticks his head inside to see Nikki Dupree and Xavier Reid sitting on a beach...Nikki looks at him as he smiles and walks into the room…
Nikki Dupree: Seriously...
Tlatoani Volando: I justed to make sure you were...alone…
Xavier Reid: Are you still going on about this…
Tlatoani Volando: I’m telling you Xavier…
Tlatoani walks over and pulls up a chair so he’s right across from his cousin…
Tlatoani Volando: I saw our Great-Grandfather...he was there in Millstreet...which is funny because I remember my father telling me stories that Senor Volando hated to fly and was afraid of water...but I guess as a ghost you can just teleport wherever you want...which begs the question why he would come to Millstreet...I mean if it was me I’d have picked a beach or the shower stales of Kappa Kappa Gamma…
Nikki Dupree: The Kappa’s are bitches...ALL OF THEM…
Tlatoani Volando: Yeah but they're hot bitches...but that’s beside the point...I’m telling you Xavier he was there...right in front of me and handed me this…
Tlatoani holds out the signed Senor Volando luchador mask...the very mask his late great grandfather handed him on Prime #039…
Nikki Dupree: Wait...I thought you said you sold that to the mark in the airport…
Tlatoani Volando: Haha, no...I gave sold him one of the knock offs Chiquitita signed...I needed to keep this one to get to the bottom of this mystery…
Nikki Dupree: There is no mystery you idiot...either your 25 concussions have finally caught up to you or someone is playing a not so thought out prank on you…
Xavier Reid: Nobody else saw him Tlatoani...there was nothing on the camera and well...he’s been dead for years…
Tlatoani Volando: I’m telling you Xavier it was him...I have seen the videos and heard his voice...it was him…
But Tlatoani is cut off by a knock on the door and his nearly jumps out of his seat as Lisa Goldrush walks in for tonight’s Xavier Reid segment...Tlatoani gets up and rubs his head as he paces around the room and tries to calm down…
Lisa Goldrush: Xavier…
Nikki Dupree: Yeah he’s ready…
Lisa motions for her cameraman to set up behind her and he starts rolling…
Lisa Goldrush: Tonight the main event for Hardcore Revolution is finalized as Megan Treamon and Xavier Reid look to punch their ticket to a FSW Championship match against Smokey Jones in a Falls Count Anywhere-No DQ match here tonight...I am now joined by Xavier Reid…
But Xavier Reid covers Lisa’s microphone before she can give him a proper introduction…
Xavier Reid: I’m going to spear the people at home a long drawn out introduction...these people know me and if they don’t then they should turn the damn channel...tonight is about getting that chance to once again call myself the FSW Champion and Megan Treamon is in my way...now I know everyone here in the FSW...in that crowd...and sitting at home love her...they want to see Miss FSW climb back on the throne and be the queen of the FSW again...because it makes them feel all warm and safe...and I get it...I would love to go back in time when gas was a nickel but this business isn’t about going backwards...let’s face it...the FSW was trash with Megan Treamon was the FSW Champion...nobody gave two shits about this place and the FSW didn’t take off until the belt came off of Megan...it was the arrival of the likes of Maggie Lockheart and ME that made the FSW watchable…
Lisa Goldrush: That’s not fair…
Xavier Reid: Yeah...look how much the FSW has thrived since that belt came off Megan...look around Lisa...we are a NEW FSW now...not traveling to small ass arenas in third and fourth rate markets...we are selling out the 10,000 plus Cow Palace each and every week…
Lisa Goldrush: With Megan’s help…
Xavier Reid: Yeah with her wrestling as a mid carder...Uprising has been DOMINATED by Xavier Reid while Megan has been my opening act...and why...because she is FSW’s past...you want to see the FSW dry up put the belt back on Megan...put her in the Main Event of a ppv once again and watch the numbers drop…
Lisa Goldrush: She has a win over Smokey…
Xavier Reid: As do I...and I HAVE A WIN OVER HER...she loves to talk about how she’s lasted longer in battle royals than I have...well congrats...but this isn’t a battle royal...you can’t get back to the top of the FSW by tossing me or Smokey over the top rope...the last time you and I faced off one on one I put her down...not a fluke...not a luck box win...I hit her with the X-Ecution...1 2 3!!! Right in the center of the damn ring...what do you think has changed...she isn’t on a pedestal around here...for the longest time she was the only one in the FSW to main event a ppv...to have a shot at the Undisputed Championship well newsflash sweetheart...I have also done that...she is no longer a trailblazer...she’s a once was...and I was hoping she would realize this and step aside...to make room for those that belong at the top but here she stands...in my way and in a match where I can beat the living hell out of here anyway I like...for as long as I like...anywhere in the Cow Palace and there isn’t anything anyone can do to stop me...and save the Robina Hood bullshit...I’m not cowering down to Megan’s ‘dark side’...her crutch and excuse to these fans when she gets her hands a little dirty...bring her out Megan...bring the sickest version of yourself out tonight because when I beat the darkness back into you...then what...how are you going to redefine yourself this time...there is nowhere darker you can go...I want this beating fresh in her mind when she looks down at that briefcase and has to make the decision if she’s going to cash it in or wait...wait and pray that Xavier Reid doesn’t win the FSW Championship again…
Tlatoani smiles at the idea of Xavier once again being the FSW but something catches his attention out of the corner of his eye...the door to the room slowly opens but nobody other than Tlatoani seems to notice..he watches as the mask face of his late/great great grandfather looks into the room…
Tlatoani Volando: (in a whisper) nikki…
But she doesn’t hear him...she is focused on Xavier…
Xavier Reid: I’m taking that main event spot at Hardcore Revolution here tonight by violence if I have to...I will not think twice about beating Megan within an inch of her life if I have to...I don’t care who she has waiting at home for her...she stands in my way of my match with Smokey Jones…
Tlatoani tries to get Nikki’s attention by waving his arms but still nothing...he looks back towards the door and Senior Volando smiles at him from behind his mask and waves at Tlatoani...who quickly sit ups and looks back towards Nikki…
Tlatoani Volando: (in a little louder whisper) Nikki…Nikki…
She hears him but without looking waves her hand to shut him up…
Xavier Reid: So night I show everyone here in the FSW why I am the one and only choice to head to Hardcore Revolution and I send Smokey Jones or Decay a little preview of the DOOM that is coming his way…
Tlatoani looks back towards the door as Senor Volando steps into the room and looks at Xavier Reid...Tlatoani freaks out at what’s about to happen...he jumps towards Xavier and screams out...as the faint sound of the door closing can be heard…
Tlatoani Volando: LOOKOUT XAVIER!!!!!
Tlatoani shields Xavier nearly knocking him to the floor…
Nikki Dupree: What the hell are you doing…
Tlatoani Volando: He’s here look….
Tlatoani points to where Senor Volando was standing...but nobody is there...the door is shut…
Tlatoani Volando: He was here...I swear….
Lisa Goldrush: Who…
Tlatoani Volando: Our great grandfather...Senor Volando…
Lisa Goldrush: Isn’t he dead…
Nikki Dupree: Yes...we are sorry about this...Tlatoani isn’t well…
Lisa Goldrush: Well we all know that but this...seeing dead people….
Tlatoani Volando: I’m not Haley Joel Osment...he was real and standing right there Xavier...he was looking right at you…
Lisa Goldrush: Ok...clearly you have something you need to deal with here guys...I’ll see my way out…
Lisa gets up and her and the cameraman head towards the door and stop...she looks back at Tlatoani and smiles…
Lisa Goldrush: And it was nice seeing you also Senor Volando…
She mocks shaking hands with the air before laughing and leaving the room…
Tlatoani Volando: She must have been a Kappa but still hot….
Nikki Dupree: Tlatoani…
Tlatoani Volando: Xavier I’m serious...I’m not messing around here...he was here...in this room...I swear on...on...ON MY MASK!!!!!
Xavier looks at his cousin and then at Nikki who shakes her head…
Tlatoani Volando: Xavier…
Xavier Reid: Tlatoani I can’t get into this right now...tonight is way too…
Nikki Dupree: Xavier’s FSW career hangs in the balance tonight...if he doesn’t win tonight his chances of getting a FSW Championship match goes up in smoke...he doesn’t have time for your hallucinations or cries for attention…
Tlatoani Volando: I’m not…
Xavier Reid: We will talk later…
Xavier motions towards the door and Nikki grabs Tlatoani by the arm and walks him towards the door...
SINGLES MATCH
CHEYENNE
VS THE MERCENARY
DING DING DING
Mercenary floored Cheyenne with a monstrous bicycle kick that sent her falling backwards. From here the pace was all Mercenary, he'd hit a big move and then lock on a submission... slowly wearing Cheyenne out. Cheyenne was able to get in some offense following a possible thumb to the eye that gave her enough room to rush at Mercenary hitting headbutt after headbutt after headbutt after headbutt. As Cheyenne went to hit the fifth headbutt, hit a straight kick to her midsection, causing Cheyenne to fly backwards off of her feet... but Cheyenne rolled through and rushed at Mercenary, slamming him with roundhouse kick! Cheyenne locked on her various submissions, starting with a Scorpion Deathlock… but Mercenary powered out of it. Cheyenne stalked Mercenary but be started to come back following a giant clothesline! Mercenary would control the flow for the rest of the match, lifting Cheyenne up and dropping her on her head. Near the end Mercenary hit Cheyenne with a reverse atomic drop, followed by a brutal sitout powerbomb, completing the Decimator Atomic Drop combo. Mercenary covered and pins Cheyenne for the three count.
DING DING DING
Stan Gordon: And your winner by pin fall, THE MERCENARY!
Hunter: The Mercenary has racked up another won over an impressive Cheyenne.
Jackson: One has to wonder if Cheyenne returned too quickly from her previous 'injuries.'
Calloway: Just tell her to run some dirt on it. She'll be fine. Well be right back with Reid and Treamon or Hood or regular Otaki. Who knows?!
