LIVE! from the Manhattan Center in New York, New York
Commentators: Eva Leurox and Nessa Reeve
Announcer: Damon Reid
Senior Referee: Niklaus Forbes
Backstage Interviewer: Jenna Salvatore
While 'Could've Been Me' by The Struts blares over the loudspeakers at the Manhattan Center, the camera pans over the thousands of fans that have packed into the space in order to see Prime's finale live. Brilliant blue and gold
spotlights swirl over the cheering crowds, whipping them up into a near-frenzy of excitement at the show to come.
Cameras flash all around the arena as the Mac-Tron cycles through Prime's roster. Aeon Khronos, Arya Melon, Candy, Captain Taco, Carlos Ruiz, Criss Cassidy, El Pablo, Equinox, Frankie Romono, Freddie Styles, Jason Alexander, Jonty Kelly, Jordan Sharpe, Khaos, Killjoy Ito, Patches, Neveah, Richard Garcia, Shotaro Hashimoto, Stitches the Clown, Trixie, and Walter Melon are all featured. After one final pan over the crowd...
The camera centers on ringside, where Eva Leurox and Nessa Reeve sit. Both ladies are dressed to the nines, and as soon as they notice the camera, both commentators smile.
Eva Leurox: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the historic Manhattan Center... and welcome to PRIME's season finale! I am Eva Leurox, and joining me as always is Nessa Reeve. And we've got one Hell of a show tonight to send off the 2018 with style, don't we Nessa?
Nessa Reeve: Absolutely! I mean, we've got to do this place justice... and I think we're doing exactly that. I mean, look at our main event of the evening! In the city where dreams come true for so many, eight competitors have the chance to seize their last chance at a spot in the G1!
Leurox: And if that's not enough, then how about the lead-in for that match being a dream bout between Ace King and Candy? Two of EWC's most respected champions will be stepping into the ring to test their worth against one another, and I for one think they're going to tear the roof off!
Reeve: And so will a rematch from last year's PRIME season finale, as Nevaeh will be the first to challenge Stitches for the Television Championship! The words from both sides have been sharp and cutting, and I bet they're going to do everything they can to tear each other to shreds!
Leurox: Speaking of champions, FSW's very own Champion is facing off one-on-one with Killjoy Ito. If Robina Hood takes the W, she also takes a spot in the G1 starting in the 2019 season!
Reeve: If the other champions making an appearance here doesn't prove how PRIME's star is continuing to rise, then I don't know what is!
Leurox: ...no pun intended, I'm sure. We've also got another peek at the G1 with El Pablo squaring off against a man that has been dominant thusfar in Walter Melon. It's a collision of natural fruit versus fruit-flavored candy in what will surely be a colorful bout!
Reeve: Last but certainly not least, MUCHO GRANDE!'s former members will collide as Grizzly Duggan takes on Carlos Ruiz one-on-one in a match that is bound to get personal!
Leurox: That can be said for every match on the card, Nessa, because the stakes tonight couldn't be higher for any of these bouts... and we're gonna kick this finale off right with one of the highest. Stitches versus Nevaeh for the Television Championship is up next after this quick message from the challenger!
As the scene opens up in the backstage area, we can see a close up of someone’s midsection.
---: It’s been awhile since I had championship gold around my waist.
Once the camera pans out, we see that it’s Nevaeh standing there.
Nevaeh: But that all changes tonight.
She adds with a smirk.
Nevaeh: Stitches took the Indy Championship from me, now I’m about to take the Television Championship from him.
Her tone is full of confidence.
Nevaeh: You know what they say. What goes around, comes around. And tonight, Stitches is about to get what’s coming to him. Hope Stitches enjoys his ‘Fall from Grace’.
She seems pleased with this thought.
Nevaeh: I can’t wait to see it myself!
And with that, Nev chuckles as she walks out of view.

NEVAEH Vs
STITCHES
As "Gasoline" by Porcelain and the Tramps starts to play, Nevaeh comes strutting right out from the back to a chorus of boos. Paying them no mind, the blond smirks to herself before she begins making her way down to the ring. As she makes her way down the aisle, Nevaeh does her best not to let any of the undeserving masses touch her along the way.
Reid: Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at one hundred and twenty-four pounds... Nevaeh!
After ascending the stairs and walking to the center of the ring apron, Nevaeh strikes a pose and give her backside a little shake before stepping between the ropes. Once inside the ring, rather than mouthing off to the fans like she usually would, she instead takes up a position where she can see her opponent coming. Her music fades as she waits for the match to begin.
Leurox: Nevaeh's gone right past confidence to convinced that she's going to walk out of here the new Television Champion tonight!
Reeve: Considering the twisted mountain she has to climb, I don't think she can afford to be anything but. Confidence can make all the difference in big match situations, and Nevaeh is going to need all the help she can get!
The lights begin to flash with each sound of the xylophone as a secondary light begins to fade in. As the music meets the thirty second mark both sets of lights disappear and the arena goes dark. As the music kicks back in a single spotlight shines down on the middle of the stage where Stitches stands, his head bowed down and the Television Championship over his shoulder. Stitches looks up, revealing that he is wearing a mask.
Stitches also sports a long, purple, trench-coat with a high collar which is turned upward which he tugs on with one hand as the lights come back on in the arena. Smoke begins to spew from behind the curtains as Stitches stands there and soaks in the crowd's adulation. Stitches begins to walk methodically down the stage, clinging the Television Championship close to his shoulder with one hand and shooing away the fans that dare to try and grab his attention with another.
Reid: Her opponent, from the Carnival of Shattered Dreams, weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds, he is the Television Champion... Stitches!
Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide for the crowd to embrace him. As expected, the crowd does not embrace a sinister-looking clown. With the single hand not holding the Television Championship, Stitches removes his mask, which leads to an even louder chorus of jeers. He hops down from the rope and enters into the ring before approaching the nearby corner of the ring. Stitches turns around, facing the center of the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
Leurox: What an unsettling entrance from the Television Champion!
Reeve: You expected differently? Though it looks like Nevaeh's not intimidated... not even a little bit!
DING DING DING
The tension in the air between the champion and his challenger was palpable as Stitches and Nevaeh stared one another down, the usual sadistic smile absent on the clown's face for once in favor of a deadly sort of seriousness. That severe intensity is echoed within the beautiful blond's features, Nevaeh not giving an inch... and when the referee motions for the match to begin and the bell rings? Even if neither of them are favored by the fans, the crowd hits their feet to cheer as the two competitors meet in the middle of the ring not in a neck-and-collar tie-up, but in a slugfest that was driven by a shared desperate need to prove their superiority over their opponent. Stitches managed to get the upper hand by meeting one of Nevaeh's rights with a headbutt that stunned her long enough for him to snag her wrist and send her into the ropes, catching her and easily lifting her up before dropping her into a Samoan Drop that shook the ring before going for the early pin!
Nevaeh kicked out right after the one count, but Stitches' size and weight advantage meant she had to expend a lot of effort to free herself from the pinning predicament.
Stitches dragged Nevaeh back up to a vertical base in order to continue his onslaught, sending her into the ropes anew. This time, however, Nevaeh linked her arms over the top rope to stop herself dead in her tracks... and when Stitches rushed her, Nevaeh dropped down, pulling the top rope down with her to send him careening to the outside! The crowd cheers Nevaeh's quick thinking, their ovation ignored as the blond dropped down to roll out of the ring because she knew that she couldn't win the Television Championship on the outside. Once outside of the ring, though, a devious look graced Nevaeh's features before a burst of speed carried her around to where Stitches was starting to stand, a spear damn near taking him out of his boots!
Leroux: What a show of force from Nevaeh! Even if she gives up over a hundred pounds to the champion, momentum can make up for a lot of physical differences, and she just proved it with gusto!
Reeve: Nevaeh is bound and determined to ensure that history doesn't repeat itself... and listen to those fans cheer!
Leroux: The crowd loves an underdog, it seems, even if the underdog happens to be, ah, not so nice a lot of the time.
Reeve: You also have to take into account just how sick and sadistic Stitches is, not to mention how he basically turned his back on Team PRIME at Stable Wars. Brand loyalty means a lot to our fans, and it's showing here tonight!
Meanwhile, Nevaeh managed to bodily haul Stitches into the ring near one of the corners and when he tried to prop himself up in the corner to start trying to return to a vertical base? The challenger planted her boot against the champion's neck, blatantly choking him with her foot as he flailed in an attempt to free himself. The crowd booed the blatant breaking of the rules, Nevaeh taunting the crowd for turning on her so quickly "like the fickle sheep you are!" as she held that illegal choke right up to 4.99 before releasing it. Sauntering away when the referee forced the break, Nevaeh charged back in the moment the way was clear - but that handful of moments was all Stitches needed to recover enough to quickly move out of the ring and onto the floor and, while she managed to stop herself short from colliding with the turnbuckle? The wily clown snagged Neveah's ankles and yanked her legs out from underneath her, dropping her to the mat hard.
Pulling her forward a little, Stitches slammed Nevaeh's right knee into the ringpost with authority, causing her to cry out in pain!
The champion smelled blood in the water after that, sliding back into the ring on his stomach and going right for the opening he created, a Boston Crab applied with the ropes seemingly just beyond Nevaeh's reach as if to taunt her with the possibility of escape. As it turned out, though, Nevaeh was able to strain and stretch with all of her might until her fingertips brushed the ropes... and that brush turned into a proper hold on the bottom rope, the referee forcing the break! As Nevaeh struggled to her feet, it was obvious she was having trouble bearing weight on her right leg, but she didn't let that stop her from connecting with a spinning back fist when Stitches tried to get near her. When she tried to follow up, however, her knee buckled, leaving her vulnerable for the Carnival Pretzel that the champion latched on with a speed born of experience. Try as she might, Neveah couldn't withstand the pain forever... and ultimately, she tapped out.

Leurox: And history has repeated itself!
Reeve: Nevaeh pulled out every stop she could get her hand on, but it wasn't enough to topple what is becoming another scarily talented champion here on PRIME. She even had the fans behind her for a moment there!
Leurox: That she did. What I wonder, though, is how this will impact the G1 since both of these competitors made it into the tournament.
Reeve: Only time will tell, Eva... but for now, Stitches gets to live to fight another day as EWC's Television Champion!

EL PABLO Vs
WALTER MELON
DING DING DING
Skittles vs Fruit! El Pablo was in a generous mood and tried to offer Walter Melon a fun size package of his favorite candy but with a scowl the worshipper of the Melon Gods slapped it away. El Pablo could only shrug at the show of disrespect. It seemed like the experienced El Pablo was running through Walter Melon’s mindspace early on. Melon left the ring with a disgusted look when El Pablo hit him with The Facepainter. Melon brushed away broken candy shell from his face and didn’t have time for much more as the Technicolour Tecnico flew over the top rope with corkscrew placha of the Prophet of the Melon Gods! He rose to his feet and pumped up the crowd into a fevered pitch.
That’s when Walter Melon clubbed him over the back and shoved El Pablo shoulder first into the steel steps. It was there where the older man started to wear down and ground El Pablo for his transgressions. For an extended period of time, Walter trapped El Pablo with a reverse armbar with very malicious intentions. In a nasty display, Melon bent back the wrist and hand that smashed the candy in his face. The crowd willed the leader of the Rainbowlution on to fight on. And it he did! He rolled through the armbar and kicked Walter in the jaw. He kipped up and then springboarded off the ropes and nearly split Walter’s melon with the Furry Ninja Strike!
El Pablo tried to go Dragonfishin’ but Walter Melon had El Pablo Spitting Seeds capturing a near victory!
El Pablo was persistent in his fight but Walter refused to Taste the Rainbow with a powerbomb reversal but smashed canvas with the Fruit Smash. This allowed El Pablo to knock him out with a dropkick followed up by the death defying R.P.M for the three count!

Reeve: Maybe... but anyway, El Pablo's momentum looks like it's going to be going strong going into the G1!

Robina Hood started off like a house on fire the moment the bell rang, lighting up Killjoy Ito with a fiery flurry of open-handed slaps, ending with a spinning backfist that drove Killjoy into the corner. She was clearly incensed by what Tommy Love had said about her in the promotional videos leading up to the match and, unfortunately for Killjoy, she was Hellbent on taking it out on him. Doggedly pursuing Ito into the corner, Hood unleashed a ballistic combination of punches that left the Young Lion reeling... and at the sight of his bell being so clearly rung? Robina couldn't help but back off before nailing Killjoy across the face with an open-hand slap that made the audience pop! Unfortunately, though, that slap served to have a sobering effect on Ito who snagged the Purple-Haired Dynamo by her namesake before bodily forcing them to switch positions, using his size and strength advantage to dish out the same sort of punishment that he'd just received.
When the referee forced the break, Robina took a few stumbling steps forward before faceplanting onto the canvas.
Tommy Love was heard shouting at Killjoy to go for the kill, but he paid his manager no mind, instead reaching down to snag Robina by the head. As soon as he did, though, she snagged him and hauled him into a small package that he barely kicked out of before the three-count! The crowd's cheers grew in volume as Hood popped up to her feet, having successfully played possum and gotten into the head of her opponent... and those cheers grew louder yet as she began doing Haruhi's dance, grinning as she rubbed that 'Almost gotcha!' in Ito's face. This set Tommy off on a tirade that drew Robina's attention, leading to her jaw-jacking at him in return. Unfortunately, that played right into Love's grubby little hands since the moment Hood was properly distracted? Ito dashed forward, catching Hood from behind in his take of the Coquina Clutch, Ronguguddonaito! While she valiantly tried to fight free of it, ultimately Robina succumbed... not by tapping out, but by being forced into unconsciousness, her dreams of G1 glory fading away as she did.

Leurox: Damn Tommy Love! Had he not gotten involved, who knows how things would have gone?!
Reeve: Things were really looking positive for Robina Hood tonight, but unfortunately there's no accounting for certain people's actions.
Leurox: I hope Marshall Evans bans Tommy from ringside during the G1. This was a travesty!
Reeve: Me too, Eva. The G1 needs to be about competitive spirit, not underhanded tactics. At least Robina can take comfort in going out like a warrior on her shield, refusing to yield until her body literally gave her no choice.
The feed transitions backstage, and the Manhattan Center crowd offers a strong cheer as Ace King, United States Champion and former Rumble in the Bronx winner, is shown preparing himself mentally for what’s to come. As he rolls his head on his neck, PRIME interviewer Jenna Salvatore slides into the picture.
Jenna Salvatore: Ace, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen you compete on Prime, and you’ve got yourself as strong an opponent as you can find in Candy, so what’s your mindset coming into tonight’s match?
The United States Champion briefly looks skyward, stroking his chin thoughtfully before adjusting the gold on his shoulder and focusing back in.
Ace King: You know, some people would call what I’m about to try foolish. Beating a double champion, not to mention the Undisputed Champion, on the brand she’s ruled for the majority of 2018? What a novel idea. But if you don’t think I’d try something foolish at least once… You haven’t followed my career.
The crowd stays hot as Ace remains in control, putting an arm around Jenna’s shoulders as they look out toward the gorilla position.
Ace King: You see out there, Jenna? Hammerstein Ballroom… A little over a year ago, everybody thought I was foolish to believe I had a shot at outlasting 29 other competitors to win the Rumble in the Bronx… I did it. A lot of people thought I was foolish to believe I could ever become the United States Champion… 392 days later, I’m still here.
‘The Gambler’ again adjusts the United States Championship on his shoulder, his intensity starting to ramp up.
Ace King: Have I hit my share of bumps along the way? You’re damn right, I have, and they’ve played out for all to see. However, no matter how many times I’ve hit that roadblock, I’ve tried to take a positive away. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve found a way to keep pushing forward, and I didn’t have to turn into a monster or sell myself out to do it.
Again, the crowd appreciates Ace’s words as he buries his tongue in his bottom lip, taking a deep breath to centre himself one last time.
Ace King: Candy’s the best thing going in EWC right now, no bones about it; the proof is on her shoulders, and I respect the hell out of what she’s accomplished. However, to anyone who thinks I can’t keep up with her, to anyone who’s already written me off before stepping through those ropes… We’ll see who’s looking foolish at the end of the night.
With that, the United States Champion heads off, leaving Salvatore gobsmacked as the feed cuts to ringside.

CARLOS RUIZ Vs
GRIZZLY DUGGAN
DING DING DING
The match between former tag team partners started off with a clash of intents. Ruiz looked like he was ready for a clean fight, but when Duggan stepped forward, he flexed on his old partner, staring him down and roaring at the top of his lungs. Ruiz recoils a bit, which helps when Duggan charges with a lariat, because he has room to duck under it. Duggan continues running against the ropes and barrels back into Ruiz, head down as he spears him out of his boots. After the spear, Duggan takes control of the match, hurling Ruiz around the ring with Biel throws and suplexes, but each time he slams Ruiz into the mat, Ruiz kicks out of every attempt to pin him. Even when he nails him with the big boot combination, Ruiz continues to kick out, frustrating Duggan with every moment of perseverance.
After lifting Ruiz up, Duggan hurls him up into the air, and as he crashes to the mat, he bounces off the ropes, but Ruiz manages to land on his feet as he falls, and while his knees are jolted, he launches a low dropkick to Duggan as he charges in, avoiding the Pounce by taking his legs out from under him. Duggan's knees never fully recover, and Ruiz knows they are weak, so he focuses in on those. Duggan tries to use his power to end the match before Ruiz can batter his knees too badly, but at one point when he's going for the running powerslam, his weak knees waver enough for him to drop Ruiz behind him. Duggan whirls quickly, but Ruiz has enough time to set himself for his superkick! Ruiz takes no chances, as after he hits Duggan with Spanish Eyes, he goes over to his legs, lifting them with a little effort, and eventually manages to heave Duggan onto his stomach and gets into position with the Spanish Crab! Cangrejo Espanol proves too much for Duggan, who taps out!

Leurox: What a victory for Carlos Ruiz!
Reeve: Carlos has just become the latest example of how an old saying still rings true today. It's the size of the fight that matters, not the size of the dog!
Leurox: And that dog just took down a grizzly bear of a man!
Reeve: What a note to end the season on for Carlos Ruiz!
As cameras catch up with Candy in the backstage area, she is looking as serious as ever.
Candy: So Ace wanted to fight the best and that’s exactly what he got tonight.
She pats the championship belt resting across her lap.
Candy: But Mr. King should be more careful about what he asks for, because he isn’t going to like the outcome any more than he did at Night of Champions and StableWars. He asked for it though. So he really can’t blame me for what happens.[/font]
She shakes her head.
Candy: Because I’m about to go out there and prove that Dominic’s underhanded tactics aren’t going to affect me in the slightest as I pick up this last victory before WrestleFest. Sorry it has to come at Ace’s expenses. But it is what it is. As a champion himself, I’m sure Ace understands what I must do.
With that, Candy hops off the cable box and walks out of view.

ACE KING Vs
CANDY
DING DING DING
The normally snobby Manhattan crowd became unglued at this champions’ showcase. At first, Ace King and Candy were respectful in the ring. Starting off with handshake even. But there seemed to be something to that. These two had some strong words for each other stemming from the events of StableWars. At first, Candy was too steps ahead of the long time United States Champion. She twisted out of every grapple that King attempted and even nearly caught Ace slipping by reversing a powerbomb into a Candy Blast facebuster.
Perhaps she got overzealous and crashed and burned after a missed Sugar High - and that is when the meticulous Ace King took over. He kept the high flying Undisputed champion grounded with a snapmare followed up by a snug looking soccer style kick to the base of the spine. He then dug into the bag of old school and applied the tried and true Bow and Arrow submission hold. Candy’s small frame contorted in a grotesque manner as Ace looked for a tap out victory.
Out desperation, Candy managed to break free by ramming her elbow into Ace’s midsection repeatedly. King adjusted and Candy managed to break free. The referee separated the two and now the mutual respect on both competitor’s face as replaced by a pure drive to conquer the other. They went into a game of “can you top this?”. Near fall after near fall. Candy kicked out of Ace’s High Roller. Ace did the same after Candy jacked his jaw with the Candy Cavity Remover. Candy flipped out the Blackjack Bomb and nearly hit the Candy Crusher herself before Ace stopped her momentum and countered with a reverse suplex for just a two count.
Finally, in an amazing sequences of counters, King thought he had Pocket Aces out of a failed reverse hurricanrana but Candy had the better hand with a victory roll for the three count!

Leurox: That was a close one!
Reeve: How could anyone expect otherwise? Ace is the longest reigning champion out of all of the current champions, and he's got nothing to be ashamed of here.
Leurox: Not at all, Nessa. I think he's still going to be in the conversation for the Undisputed Championship regardless of this loss, but all the same... hats off to Candy for continuing to keep right on rolling over the opposition!
Reeve: But will the Candy Castle survive the onslaught of Dominic Sanders and company at Wrestlefest? The world will be watching!
The jumbo screen flickers and the picture of a sky appears on the eve of a storm, the clouds are dark and rolling across the sky quickly and with aggression. The lights inside the arena start to dim, the rumbling of a storm can be heard over the speakers as lighting appears in the clouds.
The cracking of lighting grows louder and louder until two strikes hit the stage.
First from the right and then from the left as ‘Papercut’ starts to play out.
Smoke rises up from where the lightning hit stage as Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage, his arms crossed in a X over his chest as he stands at the top of the stage and looks out towards the ring.
The fans have a mixed reaction as he starts to walk towards the ring, shadow boxing as he does so ignoring the fans until he reaches ringside.
Xavier bounces up and down while looking at the ground and then looks up and smirks as he heads towards the steps and slams his foot down on each step as he marches up the steps and jumps into the ring and heads right to far corner and climbs to the middle rope and tosses his arms into the air and crosses them into a X as he looks out over the crowd. He jumps down and walks over towards Damon Reid and motions for a microphone.
Xavier Reid: I know you were not expecting to see me here tonight...that I'm not booked to compete here on PRIME until the start of the G1, that I'm scheduled to be in South Africa tomorrow night for Brawl but it's the holidays...and like so many of you, I wanted to be with my family.
This is met with some slight boos as Xavier smiles and waves the fans off.
Xavier Reid: And lucky for me, the family member I wanted to see the most is here. He is back there right now and brother, I know you are listening. I know you are watching, wondering why I would come here to PRIME on the eve of my return to Brawl tomorrow... why I would risk the jet lag when I’m facing the X-Division Champion in less than 24 hours and brother, it’s simple. I want to give you fair warning.
Eva Leurox: Fair warning?
Nessa Reeve: What is Xavier talking about?
Xavier Reid: So now that I have your attention--
Spotlights scan across the darkened arena as a lone voice hollers from the speakers, cracking under the weight of its own emotion:
“Viva Volando! Vive este momento! Viva la Rainbowlution!!”
Immediately, the intro to “Stronger” by Kanye West hits the sound system, the spotlights now pulsating to match the pounding of the kick drum.
That-that-that that don’t kill me / Can only make me stronger,
Man, I been waitin’ all night now / That’s how long I been on ya!
The PRIME fans pop huge this time as El Pablo walks out onto the stage and looks down towards the ring to where his brother stands, smiling.
Xavier Reid: Well I was going to ask you to come out here El Pablo. It’s time for us to do this face to face...
Xavier walks to the far corner as El Pablo makes his way to the ring. Xavier asks for another microphone and tosses it towards the other side of the ring to where El Pablo will enter. El Pablo makes it ringside and climbs up the steps and steps into the ring as the Hammerstein Ballroom goes crazy with a THIS IS AWESOME chant.
Eva Leurox: The two estranged brother coming face to face tonight on the final PRIME of the year...this place is about to explode!
Nessa Reeve: Maybe we should have security down here. Y'know, just in case.
El Pablo picks up the microphone as Xavier takes a few steps out of the corner and looks at his masked brother.
Xavier Reid: I don’t like to leave things up to chance brother so I came here tonight and I met with the PRIME GM’s before the show started. I approached them with an idea...a request brother. See, I qualified for the G1 with two purposes. Firstly, to win the damn thing because why the hell would I enter a tournament if winning wasn’t one of my main goals? And secondly... to beat the living shit out of you.
The fans turn a little on Xavier as many boo as he points at El Pablo.
Xavier Reid: I’ve wanted this for oh so long, brother, but it never seems to work out for me...and brother I’m tired of waiting, but I wasn’t going to leave it up to chance that you and I would end up in the finals. Anything can happen in these tournaments, so I went to Marshall Evans and Hayley Kushnir and ask them for the smallest of favors. I sold them on the idea of Xavier Reid v. El Pablo. I convinced them not to leave the BIGGEST match to chance and I got them to put you and me in the same G1 Block, making damn sure that you and I face off in this ring. But I don’t want to kick things off...no brother, I want this to build. I want you to know what’s waiting for you at the end of block play. I want you to countdown the days until I am the one standing across from you.
El Pablo: Oh I've been counting...
The crowd pops at the interruption.
El Pablo:...ever since that night I clawed myself out of the sand back in New Mexico, I've been counting.
EP steps out of his own corner, a defiant look in his eyes as he strolls slowly across the ring towards his brother.
El Pablo: Y'know, it's funny...all this talk you've been doing these last few years about "getting revenge"...about taking "what's rightfully yours"? Well, the truth is, we're now in a situation where that particular table has completely turned. The truth is, we are not in Xavier Reid's redemption story. We're in mine. My redemption, for a home whose doors are no longer open... for a family who turned its back on me and literally left me for dead!
EP and Xavier are almost nose-to-nose by this point, the fans on their feet in anticipation for what may be about to happen.
El Pablo: I have been counting down...and I knew, despite our being on different brands, that the time would come where the good and evil sides of the Volando coin would collide once more. The last two Stable Wars were just a preview...now, in the G1, we finally get to see who gets to be the golden goose...and, if we're talking about things taking flight - well, we are in New York. I don't need to tell you how things turned out last time...
EP smirks, tilting his head sideways to glance up at the ceiling. Xavier, annoyed, throws his microphone down and steps back, looking as though he's preparing to attack...but, before he can strike, the pair are cut off by the fans' reactions to the stage being filled with the masked members of the Volando Family. One by one, they walk towards the ring and surround it with a member of the family carrying a lead pipe, and Xavier and El Pablo’s cousins Perdido and Abando holding a canvas bag just like the one they buried El Pablo in before.
Xavier Reid: What the hell is this?
Perdido Volando: Our father send the entire family to finish this piece of shit once and for all!
Abando Volando: He wants to thank you, Xavier, for setting him up.
El Pablo looks at Xavier before readying himself for the coming onslaught...but Xavier steps in front of his brother.
Xavier Reid: No...get the hell out of this ring. El Pablo is not to be touched!
Perdido Volando: On whose orders?
Xavier Reid: ON MINE...he’s off limits until the final night of the G1! NOBODY IS TO TOUCH HIM UNTIL -
Abando Volando: Our father outranks you, cousin.
Abando makes move towards El Pablo but Xavier leaps into the air and...
Eva Leurox: X-ECUTION!
Nessa Reeve: But the other one rushes at El Pablo!
Perdido leaps at EP, who just manages to duck out of the way before spinning round and nailing his turning cousin with the TASTE THE RAINBOW!
The fans go crazy as Xavier and El Pablo clear the ring of their cousins and pop even louder as they back into each other and spin around about to swing on each other and pause. The two brothers look at each other but then Xavier drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. He looks back up into the ring at El Pablo before motioning for the family to follow him up the ramp. Two of the masked members pull Perdido and Abando from the ring and help them up the ramp as El Pablo looks on, the scene fading to a brief commercial.
8-MAN ELIMINATION MATCH
<<G1 SECOND CHANCE>>
FRANKIE ROMONO Vs JONTY KELLY Vs
JASON LAWRENCE Vs SHOTARO HASHIMOTO Vs
JORDAN SHARPE Vs ARYA MELON Vs
KRISTIAN BANE Vs KHAOS
Leurox: Welcome back, and it’s time to close out the season with a bang!
Reeve: To say the least. Eight people are going into this elimination match. The only way to score an elimination is by pinfall or submission, and the last man or woman standing will move on to join Prime’s elite in the G1 in the new year.
Leurox: Now we’ve got a lot of entrance to get through, so let’s throw it up to Damon Reid and get this started!
The camera transitions to Damon in the ring.
Reid: The following contest is the main event of the evening, and it is an eight person elimination match! There are no disqualifications and no countouts, and the last person standing will advance to the G1.
“Fuck It” by Seether starts on the PA and Frankie Romono comes out to a mixed reaction. He doesn’t acknowledge anyone, supportive or otherwise, as he stalks down to the ring.
Reid: Introducing first, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 207 pounds...”Blackheart” Frankie Romono!
Romono slides into the ring, takes a short, fleeting look at the hard camera, then goes to one of the corners and leans back against it, arms draped over the ropes as he waits for the rest of his opponents.
Leurox: Things were already going to get volatile in this ring with eight people fighting for one spot in the G1, but Romono is going to be extra violent tonight.
Reeve: Given the comments from Camp Melon, I would be a monster as well. Arya had better watch her back.
The sound of a bullet being fired echoes through the arena, before “Heavy is the Head” begins to play. Smoke begins to fill the top of the entrance ramp. Eventually, Kelly bursts through the smoke, wearing a mouth mask with a bullet between teeth design on it. He stops at the top of the entrance ramp, makes a two finger gun on each hand and fires a shot into the crowd on either side of him. As he does so, pyro goes off on either side of him.
Reid: His opponents, first, from Melbourne, Australia, weighing in at 225 pounds, “The Lethal Weapon”...Jonty Kelly!
After making his way down the entrance ramp, Kelly enters the ring and immediately jumps on a turnbuckle and poses, holding up four fingers in his right hand and a two finger gun pointed downward in his left hand. Kelly then climbs down and takes off his mouth mask, ready to fight.
Leurox: Kelly is still stinging from his loss at Rumble in the Bronx, but claims to have refocused in the lead up to this match.
Reeve: If it’s true, the rest of the field should be worried. He didn’t come within an inch of being Indy Champion by accident.
The lights go out into the arena. A single spotlight focuses on the entrance. Jason Lawrence walks out onto the stage alone, wearing a black trench coat over his ring gear. The crowd boos upon seeing him. Unlike most wrestlers, there is no music for Jason Lawrence. He walks slowly down the ramp focused only on the ring.
Reid: Next, from Somewhere in the United States, weighing in at 229 pounds...Jason Lawrence!
He does not seem to acknowledge any of the fans in attendance as he seems focused on the task at hand. He removes his trench coat, walks up the stairs, and enters the ring through the top and middle ropes before settling in to one of the two remaining empty corners.
Leurox: Lawrence was quiet leading up to the Season Finale, but I’m told he was insistent on getting another shot at the G1.
Reeve: Makes sense. The Classic will be a showcase of Prime’s top talent, and just getting to join the list of participants could be a mark of prestige.
The lights dim as the high energy hammer on and pull off riff from “Snakes for the Divine” rips through the arena. As the bass begins to throb and the song powers into its opening riff, Shotaro Hashimoto pops out from behind the curtain to adulation.
Reid: Their opponent, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 229 pounds, the “Chaos Wizard”...Shotaro Hashimoto!
He works his way down to the ring, giving fans on both sides of the aisles both hands for high fives before rolling into the ring, just as Matt Pike and High on Fire launch in to more powerful speed metal.
Leurox: Shotaro is coming off a win over Lawrence on Prime #40, and he is probably the dark horse of this match.
Reeve: He’s also been fairly quiet, though he did foretell victory on Fighter Talk. He’s been around the block a few times, so I’m expecting good things from him in this highly chaotic environment.
The lights go dark as “Mein Herz Brennt” starts playing over the speakers. When the lyrics start, the lights shift to a dark red ambient light as Jordan Sharpe appears on the stage. He is focused on the ring and nothing else as he walks down the ramp with a purpose.
Reid: Introducing next, from Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, weighing in at 220 pounds...Jordan “Freakin” Sharpe!
He gets to the ring and sees the four men already in the ring. He narrows his eyes as he hops up onto the apron and steps through the ropes into the ring before finding the least occupied spot of the ring’s perimeter, leaning against the ropes as his music fades.
Leurox: Jordan Sharpe has returned to New York on a simple mission: get into the G1 Classic.
Reeve: He said something about a Christmas miracle, and while I don’t think he should rely on those, with his odds as slim as they are, that might be what it takes to come out of this match with that last spot.
Lights go out, pyros hit and "The Duck Song" by Bryan Oden begins to play. The lights begin to flicker on and off with red and green color to them and out from the back walks Arya Melon. She wears her wolf cloak, a cloak with a wolf head on top of her head. She stands atop the stage shaking her hands out and then cracking her knuckles.
Reid: Next, from somewhere in Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 115 pounds, the “Melon Wolf”...Arya Melon!
The lights continue to flash as Arya walls to the ring. Emotionless. Effortlessly she leaps onto the ring apron then over the top rope. She walks to her corner, which in this case is a spot along the middle of one of the sides of the ring, and turns. She slides off her wolf cloak and stands motionless in her corner awaiting for the match to begin.
Leurox: Walter Melon is already in the G1, and it would be a big deal for Arya to get in as well.
Reeve: It would, but I know at least one man who is deadset on making sure Arya goes to meet her Melon Gods instead.
The arena goes dark, a slow booming sound can be heard and BAM! Pyros shoot off as 'The Vengeful One' blares. Kristian Bane walks out in front of the crowd to a shower of boos.
Reid: Next, from Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing in at 315 pounds...Kristian Bane!
Bane walks methodically to the ring, not paying any mind to his detractors, sliding into the ring and walking to the second to last open spot along the ropes, leaving the one adjacent to the ramp free. Once there, he waits in the ring for his next victim.
Leurox: Kristian Bane would usually be the favorite in a big multi-person match like this, but in a prolonged affair with seven eliminations in store, I don’t know if that’s the case.
Reeve: He’s certainly capable of hitting someone hard enough to knock them out quickly, but the longer this match goes, the less I like his chances.
The arena goes pitch black and "Sweet Dreams (Are made of these)" starts to play as a single light shines on to the stage, and moments later Khaos walks out on stage slowly, head tilted to the side, laughing as he makes his way slowly down the ramp.
Reid: Their opponent, from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 210 pounds, The Nightmare...Khaos!
He walks up the steps, standing on the apron with his back to the stage for a moment before he slowly gets into the ring. Laughing the whole time, he removes his coat and leans back against the ropes as he turns his gaze to each of his seven opponents in turn.
Leurox: Khaos has been with us for most of the season, and he plans to bookend this season with a big win and the last G1 spot.
Reeve: He has tangled with the best Prime has to offer, and I know he’d love a chance to give them all more Nightmares.
Niklaus Forbes is in the ring and he’s in the center of the ring between eight dangerous individuals. He reminds everyone that while there are no disqualifications and no countouts, pinfalls and submissions only count inside the ring. Then he signals for the bell and immediately tries to get the hell out of the way.
DING DING DING
Forbes was wise to duck out, because Romono immediately goes for Arya, charging straight across the ring at her. Arya meets him but ducks his attempt at a charging discus forearm. As she starts in with a flurry of strikes to Romono, Bane charges into Kelly’s corner and blasts him with a huge corner splash! As Kelly staggers out of the corner, he lifts him up and plants Kelly with a huge Flapjack! The move narrowly misses Khaos as he is in mid-leap, blasting Hashimoto with a dropkick that knocks him back into his own corner. Meanwhile, Sharpe has laid into Lawrence with knee and elbow strikes to knock him back into his corner, opposite to Hashimoto’s predicament. Arya’s flurry has caused Romono to retreat back into a corner as he tries to cover up. Arya jumps onto the second rope and springs off of it toward Romono, but Romono surges forward to catch her and twists around, slamming her back first into the turnbuckles himself. Kelly is getting up off the ground as Bane waits in the fourth corner to charge at Kelly, but as he charges forward with a clothesline, Kelly ducks out of the way! Bane still nails the Hit and Run, though, as Romono whips Arya out of her corner right into his path! Despite their dislike of the Melons, the crowd collectively winces as Arya flips over and corkscrews at least once, maybe two full rotations before hitting the mat. Bane grins and goes down to cover her, but before Forbes can even start to count, Romono rushes over and shoves the big man off of her, insisting loudly that She is mine! Bane stands up and looks at Romono like he is insane, and they start to have words, the two men shoving their foreheads together aggressively...though Bane is obviously stronger and starts shoving Romono towards the ropes.
Leurox: While I certainly understand Romono’s desire to punish Arya, I think strategically that was a misplay.
Reeve: Oh definitely, every day of the week. That lariat was as high impact as anything in this match is going to be. I felt it from here.
Meanwhile, Lawrence and Hashimoto have been fighting back against Sharpe and Khaos. Lawrence hits a few punches on Sharpe and shoves him back a few steps, giving himself room to hop up on the second rope for a top rope move, and at the same time, Hashimoto hits a flurry of elbow strikes that lets him reverse Khaos into the corner as Lawrence steps up to the top rope. Hashimoto yanks on Khaos’s arm and whips him into the opposite corner as Lawrence leaps off for a big crossbody. He was aiming for Sharpe, but he dodges out of the way and Khaos eats the crossbody instead! The crowd cheers the big high flying move, then they gasp as Sharpe comes up behind the now celebrating Lawrence, wraps him up in a full nelson, then drives him face-first into the canvas! Lawrence is not moving as Sharpe rolls him over and Forbes dashes in for the count.

3!
Reid: Jason Lawrence has been eliminated!
Before the crowd has a chance to recover from that elimination, Hashimoto is rushing towards the stunned Khaos, looking for his charging knee strike, but Khaos leaps up and whips Hashimoto over in a kip-up hurricanrana! The crowd boos this as Khaos quickly sets himself, preparing for Hashimoto to scramble to his feet. As Hashimoto tries to press his attack, he walks right into Khaos’s waiting arms as he stands with his back turned, grabs the Chaos Wizard in the three-quarters facelock, and leaps up and over him, sitting out as he lands in the reverse DDT! The crowd boos Khaos’s patented move as Forbes counts once more.

2...
3!
Reid: Shotaro Hashimoto has been eliminated!
Khaos endeavors to clear the ring quickly by shoving Hashimoto’s lifeless body under the bottom rope with his boot, Lawrence having rolled out naturally. Bane and Romono have come to blows at this point, with Bane obviously having an upper hand over him with his size, with Kelly and Arya both opting to rest while there’s no attention immediately on them. Sharpe is also free, however, and doesn’t plan to leave them unmolested for long.
Bane then blasts Romono across the ring with a huge haymaker, sending him clear into the opposite ropes. Arya takes advantage of this and goes to start punching Romono while he’s helpless, but Bane doesn’t take well to having his fight interfered with so he just grabs Arya under the arms and launches her across the ring. The crowd yells as she flies, and she manages to twist herself around so she lands flat on her back, but the impact is still loud enough to hear all throughout the ballroom. Bane turns his attention back to Romono, but Romono took the free moment he had to start winding up his discus forearm, and this time the blow lands true! It’s not enough to take Bane off his feet by itself, but the big man staggers back. Kelly sets himself, but Sharpe strikes first, charging in with a big boot to the head that knocks Bane off of his feet. The crowd cheers as Kelly hunkers down as Bane starts to push himself up, and as he gets up to his knees, he pushes himself just in time to eat Kelly’s Shining Wizard. He falls flat on his back, and as soon as he’s come to rest, Arya jumps off of the top rope and spins through the air in a double rotation moonsault! She tries desperately to hook a leg.
1...
2...
Arya is still trying for Bane’s leg, but Romono goes over and pulls that leg up to give Arya the extra leverage.
3!
Romono lets go of the leg before Arya does and the leg falls to the mat hard, yanking Arya over and making her roll to the outside of the ring. As Romono chases her, Kelly and Khaos are getting into a fistfight while Sharpe stalks behind them.
Reid: Kristian Bane has been eliminated!
Leurox: It took all remaining competitors to take him down, but the big man has been eliminated!
Reeve: And with Romono helping Arya Melon at that.
Leurox: I guess it could be a measure of revenge for trying to pin Arya before he could.
Reeve: Now that that threat is gone, I don’t think Arya’s going to like him very much.
Arya is trying to stay tangled in the ropes to stay out of Romono’s clutches until she can get up, but Romono is not going to let her up that easily, and the official is powerless to stop him. As he yanks her up to her feet, she rakes him in the eyes, earning the ire of the crowd but getting separation so that she can start fighting back. Meanwhile, Khaos is starting to lose the striking battle against the slightly stockier Kelly, but Sharpe picks his moment, coming up behind Kelly, wrapping his arms around Kelly’s neck in a loose Cobra Clutch, and before Kelly can try to struggle out or reverse, he yanks Kelly down across his knee in a backbreaker! Khaos takes the opening to roll out under the bottom rope and flip the apron skirt up, but Sharpe and Kelly aren’t focusing on that, as Sharpe has dropped down on Kelly, flipped him over onto his stomach, and locked him in a front neck lock to try to wear him down. Kelly is struggling in the submission hold.
On the other side of the ring, Arya is blasting Romano with kicks and elbow strikes and forearms, and Romono is blasting back as well as he can with impaired vision. Arya is able to get him against the ropes and charges at him, but Romono falls to the mat, pulling the top rope with him. Arya tumbles over, but catches herself before she falls to the floor and stands up on the apron. Romono gets to his feet groggily, stepping forward toward the center of the ring, shaking his head as he tries to get it screwed back on right. Arya grabs the top rope, looking like she’s anticipating an opportunity to leap at him. As he starts wobbling a bit, he starts turning to face her, and she takes that as her signal, pulling herself up to the top rope before hopping to turn herself backwards, then springboarding off of it. She leaps at him, looking for a Phoenix-Dragonrana, but when she yanks her body backward to plant Romono, he just braces himself with a foot forward and she’s not able to bring down the man that weighs nearly twice what she does. She pulls herself up and goes for it again, but she makes even less ground this time. Romono scowls, pulling Arya up to the powerbomb position before leaping as high as he can with a woman on his shoulders, bringing her down back first on his knees which jam into her back when they both hit the canvas! Arya’s back arches as she convulses, but Romono doesn’t let her take the pin, as he immediately rolls her onto her stomach, drops down to lace one arm between his legs, and wraps the other up around his neck before yanking her entire torso off the mat! Arya is crying and roaring in pain, but with no help from rope breaks, even if she could push Romano far enough to reach them, she has no choice but to tap out!
As Reid prepares to announce this elimination, Sharpe is starting to get forced to his feet by Kelly, who has started to have a burst of energy, and Sharpe isn’t able to hold him down.
Reid: Arya Melon has been eliminated!
Leurox: It would seem the Melon Gods have decided that only one of their servants shall participate in the G1 Classic. Amen, or whatever.
Reeve: Sarcasm aside, that is twice now that Romono has bested the Melons. That has to feel good.
Eventually the official is able to pry Romono off of Melon and he charges to his feet. As he does, he sees Kelly push himself up to his feet, though he’s still doubled over, and before Sharpe can try to tighten the front facelock into a proper guillotine, Kelly sets himself and brings Sharpe over his head and plants him on the canvas with a big Northern Lights Suplex! Forbes rushes over to make the count.
1...
2...
Sharpe kicks out! As this happens, Khaos has hopped up onto the apron and blasts Romono in the back of the head with a kendo stick hard enough to snap it in two! Romono collapses to the mat, clutching the back of his head as Khaos cackles on the outside. Sharpe starts pushing himself back up to his feet as Khaos comes into the ring, he stands over Romano’s lifeless body, considering just what misery to put him through. It doesn’t take him long to decide, as he drops to the mat, grabs one of Romano’s arms, and yanks him into position for his Gogoplata! Romono immediately comes back to life as he starts struggling to get out of Khaos’s Mind Games!
Leurox: This isn’t looking good for Frankie, here! His dreams of getting into the G1 might just be over!
Reeve: I see someone else whose dreams are about to be snuffed out, if Jonty Kelly gets his way!
As Sharpe gets up to his feet, holding himself steady on the top rope, Kelly is hunkered down, waiting for him to turn around. The instant Sharpe turns, Kelly is spinning, unwinding with the lethal JK47 kick! As soon as the spinning kick hits Sharpe’s jaw, he falls like a sack of potatoes right next to the still struggling Romono. Forbes is in position to see if he gives up or passes out, but when Kelly pounces on Sharpe, hooking his legs as hard and pulling them as far back as he can, Forbes is forced to change position.
1...
2...
3! Sharpe rolls sluggishly toward the bottom rope as Khaos screams, pulling on Romono with all his might as Romono struggles to get enough leverage to break free.
Reid: Jordan Sharpe has been eliminated!
Leurox: Now we’re down to three, and unless Romono can find the strength to bust out of that submission hold, we’re looking at a two horse race!
Reeve: Romano’s been in that hold for longer than most, and he’s still fighting. He wants to get his shot at G1 glory bad.
Khaos takes a split second to shout at Forbes abandoning him, but this momentary distraction is enough to give Romono an opening as he plants his feet to push himself up, rolling Khaos up onto his shoulders. Forbes is in perfect position to see what’s happening and starts slapping the canvas again.
1...
2...
Khaos kicks out! To do so he had to shove Romono off with all of his might, which included letting him out of the hold. Romono staggers back, letting himself careen clear into the ropes behind him so he can grab the top rope to brace himself on. Khaos scrambles to his feet, enraged that Romono forced him to break his own submission hold, and starts to bear down on Romono again, with Kelly leaning in one of the corners, letting these two wear each other out. Khaos and Romono start mouthing off at each other, but Romono points to Kelly, who narrows his eyes, stepping out of the corner. Romono steps back out of Khaos’s arm’s reach, forming a triangle of the three men left fighting for the last spot.
Leurox: These are three of Prime’s best, and they all want the same thing.
Reeve: They’ve survived this long, but this impromptu stalemate has to break sometime. The only question now is what will break this standoff?
The answer is quick in coming. As the three men start to circle each other around the ring, waiting for one of the others to slip up or show a sign of weakness, suddenly “Could’ve Been Me” by The Struts starts playing over the speaker system, and all three men turn simultaneously to face the stage as Marshall Evans comes out to the top of the ramp. The fans cheer their beloved GM as he waves at the crowd, then motions for his music to be cut.
Evans: Gentlemen, gentlemen... cool the hostilities, will you? Though I think I know what'll help. Hey ref, ring the bell!
Confusion flickers across the features of all three men in the ring as well as the official's before the referee does as he's told and motions for the bell.
DING DING DING
Leurox: What is our boss up to now, Nessa?
Reeve: You're asking me?! I think Hayley's the only one that can answer that question, and even then she's probably just as clueless as the rest of us sometimes. You know how Marshall is...
Leurox: Maverick doesn't even come close to describing him, but let's see what he has to say!
Marshall smirks to himself before he's bringing his mic back to his lips.
Evans: I'll have to buy Damon a drink later, because I'm about to take over his job for a moment. Ahem! ladies and gentlemen, your WINNERS that will be advancing to the G1... Khaos, Frankie Romono, and Jonty Kelly!
Confusion turns to shock, then turns into intense satisfaction for Jonty Kelly and Frankie Romono both. As for Khaos, he merely nods in acceptance as 'Could've Been Me' hits the sound system anew, Marshall waving at the fans before leaving the trio to celebrate as they see fit in the ring.
Leurox: What a shocker... all three of these men have punched their ticket for the G1! Did Marshall have this planned all along?
Reeve: Who knows? What matters, though, is that the field for the G1 is now more competitive than ever!
Leurox: That's putting it lightly, Nessa! Anyway, what a note to end PRIME's season finale on as Jonty Kelly, Frankie Romono, and Khaos are all now in the G1, bringing the number of competitors up to twelve! On behalf of everyone backstage and our whole roster, this is Eva Leurox and Nessa Reeve signing off for this season of PRIME. Thank you so much for tuning in tonight, and for your support.
Reeve: See you in 2019!
