The scene comes to life with Slipknot member "133" headbanging around his keyboard as Slipknot's Spiders begins to sound off over the loud speakers...
Corey Taylor sings the lyrics into the mic, while he and the band head bang rapidly...
The song instantly turns to the new FN'R theme Birth Of The Cruel
Pyro explodes on the stage
The camera pans around the crowd, and here we go!

WHAT IS EWCTV?
The camera cuts backstage where we see the Indy Champion Killjoy Ito and ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love stepping out of the office of Rampage GM AC Delaney, Tommy closes the door and looks at Killjoy and nods
Love: Hmm…AC’s a chick…who knew…
Tommy grins and shrugs his shoulders as they starts to walk away from the door but are stopped by the calls from Brian Spade
Spade: Excuse me…Tommy…Killjoy…
Killjoy and Tommy both stop and look back to see Brian Spade chasing after them
Spade: What were the two of you doing meeting with AC Delaney…
But Tommy holds up his hand
Love: Slow down there Nancy Drew, I was merely introducing myself and Killjoy to the madam GM and showing her while she may have the knockoff version of us on her roster with Ryoichi Nishirura and Chad Richman that the original lives up and exceeds expectations…
Tommy laughs
Love: And to give her my card for when Killjoy walks out of the Night of Champions as the NEW EWC Undisputed Champion…so she knows who to call to set up appearances for Killjoy to return to Rampage…
Spade: Feeling confident are we?
Love: Yes WE are, see I know most of the wrestling world want nothing more than to see me fall flat on my face, they hope that Killjoy will come up short and see that I’m the one to blame and he sends me packing but sadly those dreams are not going to come true…hell there are better odds that Samantha Hamilton takes back Solomon Cane before Killjoy shows me the door…so this #FreeKilljoy BS is just a marketing tool to put more money in Cyrus Black’s bank account…
Spade: So this is strictly a business trip…
Love: Exactly and tonight in Rampage’s Main Event we get to see TWO people that Killjoy knows all too well, Cyrus Black and Scorpio teaming up in one nice little tight match and we are here to get another look at those two champions but I have to be honest with you Brian, we are a little disappointed in Rampage’s OTHER two champions…
Spade: And you are talking about…
Love: Georgie Nickles and the EWC Undisputed Champion Ace King, Brian we are here in Vancouver British Columbia on Night 2 of EWC’s Canadian Tour, Rampage’s ONLY stop on this tour and TWO of their ‘stars’…two of their champions are a no show…and save me the ‘well they are here just not in the ring’…do you think the fine people of Vancouver paid their hard earned money to watch Ace and Georgie flap their gums in street clothes? NO…they wanted to see them in the ring and it’s a real slap in the face that neither could be ‘bothered’ to lace up the boots and give the Rampage fans a firsthand look inside that ring…
Tommy winks into the camera
Love: I mean by the looks of things Georgie Nickles is taking the tour off, only going to step inside the ring at Night of Champions…how ‘championship’ of her and I know…ReBelle just had a war on the last Rampage but Dominic Sanders is able to wrestle here tonight…as is Scorpio…so what is her excuse? Is she not as durable as those two or is it that she just doesn’t care…your guess is as good as mine…maybe she just thinks being fresh will give her the leg up at Night of Champions but we would never disappoint our fans on Prime and in face Killjoy will appear on Prime #054 in Whitehorse Yukon a mere 8 days before Night of Champions because he feels a champions should lead their brand…not stay in the background because they are selfish and afraid of getting hurt…
Tommy smiles
Love: But if I was a REAL fan of Rampage my rage would be directed at the Undisputed and US Champion himself Ace King…Ace says he bleeds green yet no match here tonight…nope but he will be on Brawl this Monday night, forgoing his own brand for the BIGGER show and I know…he’ll say as Undisputed Champion it’s his responsibility to appear on all brands not just HIS brand but Dominic was able to be on show after show, being on Brawl didn’t stop him from wrestling on Rampage…so maybe Ace just can’t handle the schedule of Sanders…or maybe he just doesn’t love Rampage as much as he says…maybe now that he’s the Undisputed Champion he’s just too BIG to give his fans here in Vancouver a match…
Spade: Now wait on second…
Love: I would love to but we need to head to our seats…but for all you EWC fans hoping to see champions actually get into the ring before a ppv tune into Prime #054 on Sunday August 18th to see the Prime Indy Champion Killjoy Ito in the ring and NOT in street clothes…because we care about you and want to give you the best experience…we just wish the champions here on Rampage would care as much…
Tommy smiles and as he and Killjoy walks away from Brian Spade…
Duggan: Our next match tonight, is one of those some would say looks great on paper.
Loydson: How many times do I have to you remind you, Kid, that this isn’t a game on paper with words and syntax. This is hard hitting professional wrestling and the shots should always be cheap..
Martinez: Cheap shots aren’t legal though! You just can’t….
Duggan: Don’t try to counter that explanation. We’ll be here all night arguing if you do.
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for Triple Threat Match with a 20 Minute Time Limit. Introducing first, from Aurora, Colorado, weighing in at 218 pounds... ‘THE DARK DEFILER’ MORGAN ALEXANDER!
Alexander walks down the aisle with a smirk on his face. One of the crowd members starts yelling at Alexander, who threatens to punch the fan, then flips the fan off. Alexander climbs up on the apron and flips the fan off again as he climbs to the top turnbuckle. The crowd boos loudly as Alexander smiles, then hops down into the ring.
Duggan: Can you believe the nerve of him?
Loydson: I know that fan was way out of line. Alexander should have dropped him with one punch.
Martinez: Hey you can’t do that to the crowd! They paid to be here.
Duggan: As long as the fan stays on his side, and Alexander does as well, then it’s all fair here on Rampage.
Chrqui: His opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 228 pounds... he is CHI-TOWN’S FIIIIIIIIINEST… PHOENIX WINTERBORN!
Pyros hit as the opening to "Robot Rock" by Daft Punk begins to play, as Phoenix steps out onto the stage, his head dipped down for the opening guitar riffs, and his hood pulled up on his head. Upon the high guitar, Phoenix stands straight up, throwing the hood back and revealing himself to the crowd to a round of cheers. Making his way down the ramp, his arms are outstretched as he walks backwards, taking in the moment before sliding face up into the ring to run of the opposite corner, and climb onto the second rope, slapping his chest to get the crowd fired up while his music slowly fades out.
Duggan: Winterborn is definitely the crowd favorite tonight.
Loydson: Oh big deal. The only thing that matters is the Win at all costs, not the hype down the aisle.
Martinez: These fans are just returning the excitement that Phoenix has as he comes into this big match tonight.
Duggan: But this isn’t just a one on one, back to Emmanuelle for our third player tonight.
Chriqui: And Their Opponent, from New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing in at 115 pounds... she is The Cajun Queen, TANJA DEVEREAUX!
Pyros hit as Videos of bustling crowds in various locations of New Orleans appear on the tron as "Daughters of Darkness" by Halestorm blasts on the P.A. system. Tanja comes out onto the top of the ramp, leans down into a pose before heading down the ramp with some of her black leather coat flows at her feet while the mix of boos and jeers and cheers from the crowd fills the arena. She slaps hands with a few fans at ringside before she reaches the bottom of the ramp.
Tanja walk up towards the ring and enters via under the bottom rope and jumps onto the middle turnbuckle. She poses as she does her usual taunt with a hand and arm in the air as "Daughters of Darkness" continues to play. Tanja steps off the turnbuckle as she removes the leather coat and throws it into a random corner.
Alexander charges and drops Tanja with a clothesline, sending her back over the top rope to the floor. The crowd boos as Alexander yells down at her. Winterborn walks up behind Alexander and taps him on the shoulder. Alexander waves him off and continues to taunt Tanja as she lies on the floor. Winterborn taps again and Alexander spins around. Winterborn lands a right hand to a good pop from the crowd. Winterborn whips Alexander cross corner into the turnbuckle and hits a shotgun drop kick, sending Alexander back into the corner. Tanja crawls back under the bottom rope as Winterborn picks up Alexander. Tanja gets to her feet as WInterborn whips Alexander towards her. She hits a roundhouse kick to Alexander, knocking him to the mat. Winterborn walks over to pick up Alexander but Tanja hits a front kick then a Reverse STO on Winterborn.
Duggan: We didn’t get a chance to talk about Tanja before the match after that blatant cheapshot by Morgan.
Loydson: Looked pretty clean to me.
Martinez: Tanja’s come a house of fire since that attack though.
Duggan: She needs to hit and hit often against both men who outweigh her by double.
Tanja stands on the throat of Alexander then steps off and picks up Winterborn. She goes for a Death Valley Driver but can’t lift Winterborn. Winterborn rolls through and gets a two count on a La Magistral Cradle. Winterborn gets to his knees and Alexander drives an elbow to the back of the head. Tanja gets her feet as Alexander does the same. She goes for another roundhouse kick but Alexander ducks, then tosses Tanja across the ring with a Release German Suplex. Alexander pulls up Winterborn by his hair, grabs at his face then pushes him into the corner. Alexander yells at the ref to check on Tanja, then bites Winterborn across the forehead, bringing a trickle of blood. The ref chastises Alexander, who ignores it and hits Winterborn with a snap mare. Alexander then flips off the same fan again as he hits Meet The Maker, a springboard enzuigiri on Winterborn.
Duggan: Alexander may not be likable but his focus is keeping Tanja at bay and targeting the neck of Winterborn.
Loydson: He’s vile, he’s angry, he flips people off. I like this guy.
Martinez: Phoenix needs to get things moving if he wants to get the win here.
Duggan: Tanja’s starting to rise and I don’t think Morgan knows it.
Alexander showboats as he gets to his feet, his back to Tanja. She grabs his hands, wraps them around his neck and drops him with Hoodoo, a Straight Jacket Neckbreaker. She gets a two count before Alexander slides his foot under the bottom rope. She turns over and mounts into a ground and pound-like position, sending a series of forearms and fists down on Alexander, who smiles with every hit. Tanja screams out then hits a headbutt across the bridge of Alexander’s nose. Alexander’s nose bleeds profusely as Tanja scrambles to her feet. Alexander slowly sits up, an evil smile on his blood covered lips. Tanja starts for a kick but Winterborn rolls her up from behind for a two count. Both get to their feet quickly. Winterborn goes for a punch but Tanja ducks and Winterborn drops her with a Feint DDT.
Duggan: Quick thinking by Phoenix and he almost stole the victory there.
Loydson: Now that was definitely cheap, sneaking up behind the Voodoo Queen like that.
Martinez: Everyone’s trying to get a victory by any means necessary!
Duggan: It’s been non-stop since the start.
Winterborn drags Tanja towards the corner but Alexander climbs up to the top rope, setting for Flight in Darkness, a frog splash. Tanja kicks Winterborn away, sending him against the ropes. Winterborn falls through the ropes and to the floor. The action drops Alexander crotch first onto the top turnbuckle to a groan from the crowd. Tanja looks and scrambles to her feet, She gets underneath Alexander and reaches up, grabbing the bloody face of Alexander. She pulls him forward and down to the mat, with Voodoo, a One Winged Angel. She holds onto the leg and gets the three count to a mixed pop. Winterborn looks around as Tanja rolls out of the ring and laughs maniacally in celebration.
Chriqui: And your winner, via Pinfall - TANJA DEVEREAUX!!!
Duggan: Quick thinking and a timely kick and the Voodoo Queen takes home the victory.
Loydson: Alexander was hit low. That’s just uncalled for! She should be fined and disqualified!
Martinez: Smart use of the accidental fall and quick modification on that Voodoo to keep Alexander down for three.
Duggan: Tanja came out last but goes home in first with the win tonight. Let’s go backstage!
eed cuts backstage, and the crowd cheers as Ace King casually strolls through the Rogers Arena backstage area, the Undisputed Championship over one shoulder and the United States Championship over the other. ‘The Gambler’ makes a beeline for a nearby monitor, but EWC interviewer Brian Spade cuts him off at the pass, prompting an exhale from the double Champion.
Ace King: They really need to get Heart back on the road full-time…
Brian Spade: Good one. Anyway, you’ve clearly got your eyes on tonight’s main event. What are you expecting to see from the four combatants tonight?
Again, the double Champion exhales heavily, his eyes flicking from the monitor to Spade and back.
Ace King: Oh, I’m sure it’ll be the kind of slugfest you can typically expect from an EWC show… Of course, I’m not exactly any of their favourites right now, so that’s totally fine by me.
There’s a rare chuckle from ‘The Gambler’ as he shrugs his shoulders, his championships that little bit more pronounced.
Ace King: But seriously, what kind of a Champion would I be if I wasn’t paying attention to a match with both immediate and long-term ramifications? To make a long story short, I’m just doing my job so I can be at my best when it matters most.
With that, Ace turns away from Spade to focus his full attention on the monitor, completely oblivious to the interviewer still being there. After a few seconds, Spade eventually gives up.
Brian Spade: Good talk.
Spade throws his hands up and walks off-camera as the feed cuts to...
Down in the parking lot, far from the in-ring action taking place tonight, we see the smiling faces of Legion and Thomas Crowne...and the not so smiling face of Vagn Dahl...greeting us for the first time in what feels like forever. The sight of the trio brings the crowd to a small ruckus as they heavily boo the faction.
Legion: Well it's good to see you too, Vancouver. I was starting to wonder if any of you missed us. We've been lurking in the shadows for months, licking our wounds after a failed attempt to win the Tag Team Championships. We went on a bit of a soul search after that, trying to understand what mission our goddess had for us going forward. We prayed ceaselessly, looking for answers from our lovely Eris...
Legion's smile turns quickly into a scowl, as the jovial look of Crowne quickly follows suit.
Legion: ...and found none. Complete silence from the one we worshipped for so long. You can imagine the toll that took on us, but the worst part was turning our eyes back to the world and seeing how much things changed in our time away. NSFW lost the titles to Shock and Awe, who did bugger all with their moment before losing those belts to quite possibly our biggest rivals outside the EWC, ReBelle. We watched Georgie Nickles and Scorpio hold those titles up high, and we asked ourselves if we wanted to wage war against these foes and take what is rightfully ours.
The cheers for ReBelle quickly turn to jeers for the thought of the Eternal Circle ready to do battle...but what Legion says next silences the crowd.
Legion: No.
Despite the confusing nature of this statement, a smile reappears on Crowne's face as he steps up next to Legion to speak.
Crowne: For months we have wandered aimlessly, without purpose. We have not had a true sense of identity in quite some time...but two weeks ago, a vision came to us, a vision of something much bigger than merely winning a piece of tin.
Legion: We have set our sights much higher than the likes of ReBelle or even Ace King with his precious two belts...we are aiming for a much larger target now. We want nothing less than everything. AC Delaney, I know you like yourself a nice triple threat match for such a big event as Night of Champions...but I have no championship aspirations, so count me out.
Vagn Dahl steps up now, that stern look still on his face as he speaks.
Dahl: The next time you see us, you'll wish we'd disappeared for good. We will be the nightmare you can't quite get out of your head. We will be the whisper in the wind that sends shivers down your spine.
Legion's smile widens to a mad grin.
Legion: We are, after all, the Eternal Circle...always in motion, marching toward our goal...always ready to embrace chaos.
He and his running mates laugh maniacally, leaving us to fade to commercial.
Duggan: Now this next match is one I have been looking forward to – two great young talents who are looking to do things the right way.
Loydson: The right way? Hamilton told this Mercury kid he wasn’t ready yet! Sounds to me like she’s finally growing a spine.
Martinez: She was only referring to his early struggles here in EWC, it’s good advice from somebody who knows what they’re talking about.
Duggan: At the very least we can expect a good, clean fight here and I can’t wait to see it.
Chiriqui: The following singles match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds, she is one of the members of the Shieldmaidens MC. She is Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton!
As the actual lyrics of 'You're Going Down' by Sick Puppies begins playing, the Titaness saunters down the ramp. Walking beside her is her husband, Joseph "Orion" Hunter. A sense of determination and resolve can always be found in her eyes. Despite wearing a more stern and serious expression, she's not one to ignore any fans or supporters. Every now and again, she'll give a wave or slight smirk. More often than not, however, the Titaness will stick to her more serious and stoic look.
When she finally gets in front of the ropes, the Titaness will usually slip through the middle and top ropes. From time to time, however, she will opt to simply step over the top ropes.
The deafening bass of Juicy J's "Shell Shocked" pulls the camera as the man named Mercury steps onto the stage. He takes exaggerated steps then comes to a halt, bending over to say a quick prayer. As he comes up, he flips his hood off of his head, the full view of his mask now visible. He begins jumping around as he makes his way down to the ring, high-fiving fans and exuding pure excitement.
Chriqui: On his way to the ring, hailing from Jacksonville, Florida and weighing in at 167 pounds! MERCURY!
Mercury hops onto the apron, taking a knee immediately and looking out towards the crowd. A smile is seen from under his mask as he hops up to the top turnbuckle and backflips onto the mat. He removes his jacket and lets the referee search him as he awaits his opponent.
The two immediately circle each other until Mercury steps forward with his hand extended. Hamilton stares at it and finally slaps his hand and they go back to walking around before finally locking up centre of the ring, the Titaness easily transitioning the collar-and-elbow hold into a headlock. Mercury grabs the arm and slips out into a wristlock, which Hamilton counters by dropping to her knees, snapmaring Mercury over her. He rushes her but she steps aside and pushes him to the ropes and he returns with a crossbody but Hamilton catches him in mid-air with a hard elbow strike to the face.
Duggan: She just took him clean out of the air with that elbow!
Loydson: Now we’re talking. Break his damn face!
Hamilton picks her dazed opponent off the canvas and lifts him up for a chokeslam, but Mercury manages to free himself and drops down to his feet. He stumbles and steps forward but only into a big boot that leaves him flat-out. Hamilton picks him up again, this time delivering the thunderous chokeslam she’d been looking forward and makes the cover.
ONE!
.
.
TWO!
.
KICKOUT!
The Titaness demands Mercury gets to his feet and the young rookie finally does. She leaps forward for a standing Defying The Gods but Mercury manages to push her off. Hamilton lands on her feet and receives a sharp kick to the leg from Mercury. She stumbles backwards and he delivers another, following it up with a quick elbow strike that leaves her propped up in the corner. He runs to the opposite side of the ring and back for Allons-y but Hamilton side-steps and he hits the top turnbuckle hard. She immediately lifts him up into a torture rack, twisting his back, but Mercury refuses to quit and she improvises by transitioning into a lumbar check!
Martinez: What an incredible moment of inspiration from the Titaness! The strength and technique was something else!
Duggan: I think she’s looking to put an end to this match!
She wastes little time in pulling Mercury up to his feet and connects with the Atlas Shrugged and rolls him over for the cover.
ONE!
.
.
TWO!
.
.
THREE!
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall... SAMANTHA HAMILTON!
Duggan: A dominating display from Samantha Hamilton.
Loydson: It was okay, I guess.
Martinez: She’s bounced back in style here on Rampage but now she needs to keep that momentum rolling.
Duggan: And speaking of momentum, up next we have the “Tokyo Gunslinger” Ryoichi Nishimura taking on former EWC World Champion Mark Storm. It’s a match that could steal the show so don’t go anywhere.
We open up Backstage. Sam has just finished her match versus Mercury. She looks deeply ecstatic with her victory; so much so, that it takes her husband pulling her aside by her elbow to barely avoid running into another figure walking through the halls.
Samantha “Titaness” Hamilton: Fuck, I’m so sorry. Thank you hun.
Sam finally lifts her head up and up to find Captain Morgan standing in front of her. Darkwater smiles, nodding.
Morgan Darkwater: Aye, well, think nothin’ of it, Miss Hamilton. T’be fair, I was a tad distracted me’self…
Samantha “Titaness” Hamilton: Good to know it wasn’t just me. You …
Sam’s voice trails off as she hesitates on whether to finish her train of thought. The Captain cocks his head to the side, curiously. Ever the blunt individual, she decides to go on and continue voicing her thoughts out loud.
Samantha “Titaness” Hamilton: You hit really hard. I’ve haven’t been knocked out like that in quite some time.
Darkwater let out a loud, chest heaving laugh, grinning sheepishly.
Morgan Darkwater: Ah, aye… about that… Comes from a history o’ bareknuckle brawlin’ up an’ down th’ Caribbean, I suppose. Plus, I wanted t’ make as big an impact on me return as possible, hold nothin’ back… Ye know how it be… Sorry about that, Miss Hamilton. I’d gladly pay fer ye hospital bills…?
Despite what the memory led to, a grin spreads across her face.
Samantha “Titaness” Hamilton: Yeah, I do know exactly what you mean. I’ve never held back against anyone, regardless of who they are. Friend, foe, or something in between. I wouldn’t ask anyone to show me mercy. That’d be hypocritical of me. That being said, I wouldn’t mind a one-on-one with you eventually.
The Captain strokes his chin thoughtfully, considering possibility, humming lowly under his breath.
Morgan Darkwater: Well, far be it from me t’ deny th’ wishes of a lady… but rest assured, should that time e’er come, I wouldn’t be holdin’ anythin’ back again. Scars an’ Stripes wasn’t an exception ‘cause a championship shot were on th’ line… this be how th’ Captain brings it to all comers, man or woman, good… or bad.
He leaves that last bit hanging heavily in the air between them as they stare at each other for quite some time, Sam’s husband, Joseph “Orion” Hunter, standing awkwardly off to one side, looking torn whether to speak up for his wife or not. Eventually, he decides to remain silent, knowing Sam can handle any fight, verbal or otherwise. Finally, the Captain breaks the silence by clapping his hands together.
Morgan Darkwater: Anyway, it has been a pleasure t’ see ye again in such good spirits, Miss Hamilton, an’ I wish ye all th’ best… But I be lookin’ t’ speak t’ a champion about a show… if ye both will excuse me…
Samantha “Titaness” Hamilton: That’s perfectly acceptable. I wouldn’t want anything less from anybody on the roster.
Sam’s eyebrow raises, taking note of the emphasis of Darkwater’s words. She stays quiet though, and moves aside to let him find whomever he’s seeking. The Titaness, meanwhile, resumes walking towards the exit. Before the camera loses sight of her face, however, an amused smirk can be observed on her face. Orion starts to converse with her, but it’s too low to be picked up by the cameras.
Camera fades too...
In the backstage area, a loud POP from the crowd is heard as Georgie Nickles is seen walking through the double doors with her tag strap over her shoulder, Christopher Exile Lemke walks alongside her.
Spade: Georgie! Georgie!
Brian Spade comes from behind as one half of ReBelle turns to look at him, a smile upon her lips as her head tilts a little bit.
Spade: Tonight your tag partner is going into battle against Dominic Sanders and SIN. NOW the question that no doubt is on everyone’s mind is why is he teaming up with Cyrus Black…and not his tag team champion partner… Georgie Nickles?
For her part, the REAL Rebel Child smiles and shrugs a shoulder.
Georgie Nickles: That is indeed the million dollar question, and in fact it was the question that widdle ickle Dommy Wommy decided to so bluntly ask when he was talking about this match. What he forgets is… I’m not in charge of booking, that’s AC Delaney. So instead of going out there and once more proving to the world that Dominic Sanders is nothing more than a little bi…Ahem.. BIG bi….
Exile: Billy goat, she was going to say billy goat.
Georgie glances towards her friend and tilts her head at him, giving him a look for a moment, and he shrugs helplessly and mouths ‘it’s Canada, they’re nice.’ as the fans in the arena laugh. Giving him an exasperated shake of her head, she turns to look back at Spade.
Georgie Nickles: Sure, we’ll go with that. Instead of proving to the world that Dominic Sanders is nothing more than a BIG Billy goat… and taking him out, I’m going to be right there, cheering on the Baddest ….Billy Goat in the world… Scorpio. As much as Dominic Sanders wants to delude himself, convincing himself that he won when he and Iggy Swango faced off against ReBelle, somewhere deep in his mind he knows that if the bell hadn’t been rung, he would have been pinned for the three. So, maybe he should be thanking AC Delaney for this little bit of respite, for this little balm to his poor wounded spirit. Not like it’ll do much good, as I have every faith in Cyrus and Scorpio tonight.
Exile: He still owes you a match too, doesn’t he? He agreed to it on Twitter.
Georgie Nickles: Shhh…He’s deluded himself in that as well, I’m sure.
Spade: Right. Back to the topic at hand, Cyrus and Scorpio are two of the nine opponents for Night of Champions in the Insanity Cage Match.
The fans in the arena give another HUGE pop for the match where ANYTHING is possible.
Spade: There’s a lot of talent going in, will you be watching this match tonight as an opponent of these two champs?
Georgie Nickles glances around for a moment, looking to Exile and then to Spade, shaking her head.
Georgie Nickles: I am going out there as part of ReBelle, as a friend of the Kilt Bros. I am going out there as a fan, to cheer them on. Night of Champions? It’s going to happen, no matter what. But it isn’t happening tonight. So I’m going to go out there and cheer my heart out for the guys. I’ll focus on Night of Champions another night.
Brian Spade smiles at Georgie and Exile as they walk past and enter Scorpio’s locker room.
Duggan: And there goes Georgie Nickles to cheer on her tag partner! Seems to be fired up for Night of Champions!
Loydson: Deluded more like! Just like she’s deluded to think that Dominic Sanders was a second away from losing! He had her right where he wanted her!
Martinez: That’s a debate for another time, Phil. Right now the action continues!
Loydson: Don’t put words in my mouth Duggan. Mark Storm is no hero of mine.
Martinez: Well you’re in the minority Loydson! Mark’s proven time and again that he’s got ‘hero’ written all over him.
Duggan: But will being a hero be enough to put down his own personal villain tonight?
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit. Introducing first, from Brooklyn New York, weighing in at 225 pounds... Your Hero, and Mine.. MARRKKKK STORMMMMMM
Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;
A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is Your Hero and Mine, Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.
He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp.
This ain't no place for no hero.
This ain't no place for no better man.
This ain't no place for no hero
To call "home."
At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring. Taking off his leather coat, he hands it to the ring announcer before walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second rope, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.
Duggan: Storm looks laser focused tonight, guys.
Loydson: At least this time there’s only one guy in the ring to keep his eyes on.
Martinez: He’s definitely going to be looking to get a little bit of personal redemption tonight after losing in the main event on Prime on Sunday.
Duggan: But he’s gonna have to work for it, because here comes Nishimura.
Chrqui: His opponent, from Roppongi District of Tokyo, Japan, weighing in at 195 pounds...He is TOKYO GUNSLINGER - RYOICHI NISHIMURA!
With the sound of War Dance by Shen Yi blasting through the speakers, the crowd stands in interest and excitement as they see a hooded Ryoichi walk up onto the ramp, baseball bat in one hand resting on his shoulder, his head bouncing to the beat of his entrance music.
The crowd meets the presence of Ryo on top of the stage with a mixed chorus of boos and cheers as the man nods to his manager Chad Richman flanking him and with a confident strut walks down the ramp towards the ring. Taking his time, he walks up every ring step with the continued bounce of his entrance music's beat until he ultimately climbs the turnbuckle into the ring. With a quickened pace he moves and climbs onto the turnbuckle opposite to him, pointing his bat at the closest camera.
Putting his free hand in the shape of a gun, he 'fires' at the camera before turning around and taking a seat on the turnbuckle, handing his entrance clothes and baseball bat to Chad Richman who passes on some final words of encouragement, as Ryoichi sizes up Mark Storm.
Storm and Ryoichi both start out with a collar and elbow tie up that Storm works into a waist lock on Nishimura. Storm hits a rear waist lock takedown, before hauling Nishimura back to his feet looking for a belly to back suplex. Nishimura throws an elbow back though, catching Storm in the face and causing him to break the hold. Nishimura picks up the offense, grabbing Storm and doubling him over with a knee to the midsection. He sends Mark to the corner with an irish whip and follows in right behind him with a stiff lariat. He grabs hold of the top rope, digging his foot into the throat of Storm who claws at it as the referee begins their count. Eventually, Ryoichi releases after 5, but not before slapping Storm for good measure as the crowd boos. Richman at ringside laughs, pointing the baseball bat to the crowd and back to Storm as Nishimura gives Storm a couple more insulting taps on the cheek. Storm finally snaps before stepping from the corner and reaching out, grabbing Nishimura at the neck and flinging him into the turnbuckle before unloading with a flurry of rights and lefts before punctuating it with an uppercut that takes Ryoichi straight off of his feet!
Duggan: Nishumura has unleashed the beast!
Martinez: Storm is unhinged! And Chad Richman is coming unglued at ringside!
Duggan: Nothin’ he can do about it though, Storm’s not done anything illegal.
Loydson: Yet!
Nishimura is dazed and stumbles from the corner into a powerslam by Storm, who hooks the leg and gets a 2 count. Storm opts to keep Nishimura grounded and rolls him onto his stomach, hooking the legs with a boston crab. Nishimura inches closer to the ropes, nearly able to break the count but Storm drags him back to the middle of the ring and locks down tighter. Nishimura reaches back, getting hold of Storm’s foot and rolling through into an ankle lock. Storm is close enough to the ropes that it forces a break and he’s to his feet fairly quickly while Nishimura works out the ache in his lower back. Mark runs the ropes, coming at Nishimura with a slingblade that takes him down to the mat. Ryoichi rolls out of the ring, trying to shake out the cobwebs as the crowd roars in appreciation for their hero.
Duggan: Mark is looking tremendous tonight!
Loydson: Kid is probably wishing he had some of that mojo on Prime.
Martinez: Look out!
Duggan: Mark Storm comin’ in hot!
As the commentary buzzes, Mark runs toward the corner and leaps up, flying out of the ring with a topè con hilo. Nishimura leaps up, catching Storm on the way down with a shining wizard that stops him dead in the air before crashing down ringside. Ryoichi gets to his feet, shaking out the cobwebs before he grabs hold of Storm and rolls him into the ring as the ref has reached a 6 count toward the double count out. Ryoichi pulls Storm to his feet, grabbing hold of him and snapping him back with High Noon (tiger suplex) for a 2 count. Nishimura gets back to his feet, but Storm blocks his attempt to pull him up for another suplex, and tries to roll into an inside cradle. Nishimura kicks out at one, and immediately drives a knee down onto Storm. He gets to his feet, sizing up Storm for a yakuza kick that snaps him backward. Ryoichi hooks the leg, getting another near fall before he pulls Storm to his feet and goes for an elbow strike. Storm blocks, grabbing Nishimura by the wrist and sending him with an irish whip into the ropes. Storm leapfrogs Nishimura before ducking down for a back body drop, but Nishimura has the move scouted and delivers a stiff kick that stands up and dazes Storm. Ryoichi hoists up Mark Storm with the Kill Shot before getting the final 1, 2, 3.
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall... RYOICHI NISHIMURA!
Duggan: Storm with an impressive onslaught, but not enough to keep Nishimura down tonight.
The match has barely ended, and the sound of "War Dance" by Shen Yi starts playing on the sound system. The fans let their voices heard, they're not happy seeing their favourite Mark Storm lose but despite it show a begrudging amount of respect by giving a very cautious applause to the winner, Ryoichi Nishimura...
Loydson: Well it's Ryoichi Nishimura that stands tall tonight, and as you can see on both the faces of him and his manager Chad Richman, they're happy with a strong win over Mark Storm!
But whilst the referee was helping Mark Storm up to his feet, he was pushed aside by the Tokyo Gunslinger who extended his hand to pull the beaten adversary to his feet. A small smile showing up on the face of the Japanese superstar as he gave him half a dozen comforting pats on the shoulder.
Loydson: And we even see a show of respect from Ryoichi as he helps his fallen foe up to his feet.
Almost immediately though, the pats stopped and the hand rested on the shoulder. The kind smile turning wicked, and a harsh elbow from the other arm connected square to the jaw of Mark Storm who reels into the ropes in a daze from the sucker punch! On the rebound, Ryoichi struck pulling Storm up into the air and hitting him with PRAIRIE SUNSET! Planting him in the middle of the canvas as boos cascaded towards Ryoichi from all fans in the sold out Rogers arena.
Duggan: Haha, what a beautiful sight. That's your respect right there, Loydson. The only respect Ryoichi shows is putting Mark Storm out to pasture like he had promised!
Martinez: That was totally uncalled for and disrespectful, Duggan. Ryoichi has no right attacking anyone after the match has ended, what a vile and disgusting act from a wrestler who has no respect for his peers!
As Ryoichi leaned over his fallen foe for a little whilst longer, he stared as the referee and ringside officials pulled Storm out of the ring to help the hurt star to the back. Giving an approving slap on the shoulder, manager Chad Richman had gotten hold of a microphone.
Richman: What you just saw lovely Vancouverites is a superstar that in only two fights has taken the E-W-C by storm. That man is my client, the Tokyo Gunslinger, Ryoichi Nishimura. Because you see, whether it's a dark and broody Dark Defiler, or a bitter and pained Lost Child standing in front of him... Or even a former EWC World Heavyweight Champion stepping into the ring with him... The results, they're brutally simple, three people faced him, all of them got their heads planted firmly into the canvas by a man that is only getting started in his rise to the very top of this company, and in turn, this entire business. Because you see, the uneducated of you see a new face, a youngster who still needs to learn his craft, but what I see, what all the intelligent minds in the audience see, is a man that doesn't need to be taught anything, who is ready to take control this very instant.
The crowd replied in kind to the words of Richman, by booing him and his client relentlessly showing the equal amount of respect that Ryoichi had shown to his opponent just a minute earlier. Ryoichi seemed stoic and confident, almost uninterested as he let his manager do the talking. Chad Richman, eating up every second of the camera attention shown to him and his client. But the camera's switched to a new sighting on the entrance ramp.
Martinez: Look, it's Friday Night Rampage General Manager, AC Delaney. And I think she shares with the audience in not seeming one bit impressed by Ryoichi's actions!
The crowd fell silent quickly as Delaney politely asked them to, before focusing her gaze upon the wrestler and manager in the ring.
Delaney: From where I'm standing, I feel Ryoichi still has a few things to learn about respect first and foremost, Mr. Richman. But I doubt you'd put in the effort in teaching this clearly very talented Japanese superstar the manners he needs to really be respected in this business...
The crowd reacted in approval, and for the shortest of second a 'Teach him manners' chant broke out that was quickly muffled by Delaney continuing to speak.
Delaney: But I didn't come out here to discuss that, I was already preparing to go out here before our Gunslinger chose to add insult to injury. Because I have an announcement to make that concerns him, I don't know if he can understand me, or if you need to filter my words to him. But I'm sure what i'm about to say is a pretty universal language... Because in a few weeks we'll have a little event we call Night of Champions, and on that night Ryoichi Nishimura will have the chance to back up all your words of praise about his ability, because he'll be stepping into a #1 contender match to compete for the right to face current Intercontinental Champion Cyrus Black in a championship match.
The crowd reacts in cheers, but some in boos, being excited by the prospect of a contender match for the IC Championship but the last one they want to see getting such a chance is someone like Nishimura...
Delaney: Who Ryoichi will face, I would've revealed if he had shown a little bit more respect, but I'll let you two stew on this news for a little while and keep you in the dark. A bit of turnabout, I guess. So Ryoichi, good luck, I'm sure you'll give it your best, just be sure to keep that warrior spirit between the bells next time, because I know you have it in you.
With that announcement, Delaney gives a wave to the crowd and turns around and walks away. Leaving Ryoichi and Richman some time to mull over the shot the Tokyo Gunslinger had just received...
Loydson: A big bombshell announcement from FNR GM AC Delaney just now, Ryoichi Nishimura is going into Night of Champions to compete for a shot at Cyrus Black and his intercontinental title!
Martinez: Ryoichi's attitude outside of matches rubs me the wrong way big time, during matches too. But I can't deny he's a brilliant rising star in the EWC, you have to be to get such a shot after only two fights!
Duggan: Respect doesn't win matches, being the better star does. And Tokyo Gunslinger is quickly becoming one of my new favourite stars, the kid has the right amount of ruthlessness to make it big. And I feel he's going into Night of Champions already the contender, and I hope we won't have to wait long for him to take the gold away from that dreadful Cyrus Black!
Loydson: Whatever you may think of him, he's earned it fair and square. But the show doesn't stand still, and we are quickly going to a commercial break before we close off the show with an epic tag showdown!
(The Loved Vs The Hated)
Dominic Sanders & Silas Isaac Naberius
Vs Cyrus & Russ (Scorpio)
Duggan: Time for our main event of the evening, It’s Dominic and Silas Vs Scorps and Cyrus!.
Loydson: SIN’s second main event appearance in a row, and this time with the best Undisputed Champion of our lifetime, Dominic Sanders.
Martinez: We are surely in for a great match and are left with the question of CAN Scorpio and Cyrus work together! .
Duggan: Yesir, Omar. Going to be an interesting one.
Chriqui: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Whitechapel, Londan and Aledo Texas respectively, and weighing in at a combined weight of 435 pounds... SIN and The Former Undisputed Champion, Dominic Sanders!
The lights suddenly go out, plunging the arena into darkness. 'Sympathy For The Devil' by The Rolling Stones begins to play and, after a short wait, a spotlight floods the entrance way revealing a black-clad
man. He slowly turns around, raising his head and tilting the brim of his Panama hat up to reveal himself as Silas Isaac Naberius. He looks around the arena, twirling his cane in hand, and begins to make his way down the ramp.
Purple lights cut on around the entrance ramp as "Drop the World" by Lil' Wayne begins playing.
"I got ice in my veins, blood in my eyes
Hate in my heart, love in my mind"
Dominic Sanders steps out from the back in a dark purple hoodie and black wrestling tights on, finished by white boots. The hood of his sweatshirt drapes over his eyes as he stands at the top of the ramp. Sanders stands at the top of the ramp and soaks in the boos from the crowd.
"So I pick the world up and I'ma drop it on your fucking head!"
Dominic beats his chest with both fists and raises his arms in the air with a roar. The crowd boos even louder as he starts to make his way down to the ring. A cocky grin can be seen under the hood of his sweatshirt as he walks down the ramp.
Sanders rolls underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. He jumps up to his feet and stares out into the unadoring crowd before meeting the gaze of SIN. The two men watch each other before exiting the ring and awaiting their opponents.
Duggan: We talked about Cyrus and Scorpio, but this is an interesting pairing as well. The top bad guys of their respective brands, teaming with the same goal, hurt two different champs in one swing.
Loydson: If only someone put that on the poster and saved us all some bitching...
Martinez: Regardless, this is a very interesting dynamic.
Chriqui: Their opponents, from his own little bubble and London, England respectively, weighing in at a combined weight of 435 pounds. He is the EWC International Champion CYRUS BLACK! And he is one half of the EWC World Tag Team Champions, SCORPIO!
'Iconic' - Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper hits the speakers as the house lights go down, switching to a spotlight focused on the curtain. It parts, revealing 'The S-Factor' Scorpio stood behind, a hand on his hip, the other raised above his head, cutting a beautiful silhouette. He sashays forward, a long coat dripping in jewels swaying with every step. Behind him steps Crème de la Crème, Scorpio's drag queen confidant and manager. The two look to one another and nod, before Scorpio opens his coat and drops it to the floor, revealing another stunning outfit. He steps down the ramp with a confident strut, emulating that of the catwalk models of Paris and Milan, before reaching the ring. Scorpio climbs up one set of steps as Crème climbs the other, parting the ropes to allow 'The People's Camp' in. Stepping into the middle of the ring Scorpio raises one arm, and blows a kiss with the other, a smile forming on his beautifully made-up face.
The whole arena goes dark for a moment, a spotlight hits the entrance ramp and music plays from the PA system.
"Life is a mystery..."
The silhouette of a man moves into the spotlight, arms raised above his head as he starts to clap.
"And it feels like home..."
The lights go up around the arena, two red pyrotechnics go off at either side of the stage as the chorus hits...
"When you call my name
it's like a little prayer..."
Cyrus starts clapping as he merrily skips from one side of the entrance ramp to the other, looking out at the sea of fans, goading them to clap along with him. Cyrus makes his way down the entrance ramp with the International championship around his waist, he engages with fans along the way, dishing out high fives and hugs as he jives his way to the ring.
"I'm down on my knees
I want to take you there..."
Sliding underneath the bottom rope into the ring, Cyrus shuffles from one corner buckle to another, continuously banging the palms of his hands together as the fans are on there feet clapping with him,
"Just like a prayer you know,
I'll take you there...".
Cyrus casually leans against the ropes, with a cheesy grin on his face. He and Scorpio shake hands. Dominic and SIN enter the ring, this one is ready to start!
It's high-flying Scorpio starting off against the powergame of Dominic Sanders. Dominc takes the early lead ripping Scorpio into a vise grip headlock before taking a back and dropping Scopio on his head with a German suplex. Scorpio is back to his feet but rocked with a big boot that sends him flying backwards into the ropes, on the rebound Dominic leaps Scorpio into a Samoan drop before making a lackadaisical cover, Scorpio kicks out. Dominic pulls Scorpio to his feet and sends him into the ropes, on the rebound Dominic leaps into the clothesline from hell from Scorpio ducks the impact and Dominic flies into the ropes, Scorpio rebounds on the other side and the two rush towards each other with Scorpio leaving his feet and paint brushing Dominic with a dropkick that sends the brawler off his feet and into the neutral corner. Both men are to their feet but Scorpio is a second faster as he lands a corkscrew neckbreaker. Dominic lands hard and grabs his neck in pain. Scorpio crawls to his corner and tags in Cyrus! Dominic is back to his feet… just in time to go for a ride as Cyrus rips him into a German suplex, followed by another, and then a third that dumps the former champion right onto the back of his head!
Duggan: Close match we have here folks, but Cyrus and Scorpio appear to have taken control!
Loydson: Dominic just has something in his eye, calm down boy.
Martinez: Yea, sure Phil.
Cyrus pulls Dominic up, but Dominic shoves Cyrus back into enemy territory, where SIN grabs his face from behind and begins to rip at the eyes and nose! Dominic sees his opening and rushes into a big boot, right to Cyrus’ stomach! SIN gets a tag and begins to choke Cyrus on the bottom rope. Dominic tag before the ref gets to three, and Dominic begins to stomp a mudhole on Cyrus before SIN tags back in. SIN pulls Cyrus up and hits a swinging neckbreaker, before kicking the spit from Cyrus’ mouth with a devastating soccer kick. SIN stomps down on Cyrus’ heel not once, but twice… doing everything in his power to injure the champ, to stake his claim at a title match. SIN stomps down again on Cyrus’ heel before Dominic tags in. SIN kicks Cyrus in the mouth again before Dominic can enter.
Duggan: This one has broken down fast into a personal affair with SIN trying to maim our IN Champ!
Loydson: Ain’t it pretty Griz? Ain’t it wonderful?
Dominic pulls Cyrus up and smashes him with a spinebuster. Scorpio is doing his best to get the crowd behind Cyrus. Dominic stands but SIN tags back in. Dominic is pissed and shoves SIN, who responds with an eye-rake to his partner! Dominic takes a few steps back and gets blasted by SIN with a bigboot! Dominic lands on his ass and smiles. Dominic rolls out of the ring and heads towards the back. SIN waves Dominic goodbye before turning his attention to the downed Cyrus… who is no longer downed, who is now joined by Scorpio. SIN spits on Cyrus and lunges into Scorpio who leaps into the AGR cutter! Scorpio pulls SIN and gives Cyrus enough space to rush into a Blackout high kick to the back of SINs head! Cyrus and Scorpio both make the cover, ONE… TWO… THREE!!!
Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall, the team of CYRUS BLACK and SCORPIO!
Duggan: Dominic abandoned his partner and possibly cost them a loss.
Loydson: I like SIN but kid’s gotta learn, watch the temper.
Martinez: Phil, to be fair, Dominic tagged himself in, SIN returned the favor and Dominic got mad!
Duggan: Quite the interesting show tonight, Scorpio and Cyrus stand tall as we wish you all a good night. We will see you next time on FN’R! Again a thank you to Slipknot for the new theme! Bye-Bye!
Corey Taylor sings the lyrics into the mic, while he and the band head bang rapidly...
The song instantly turns to the new FN'R theme Birth Of The Cruel
Pyro explodes on the stage
The camera pans around the crowd, and here we go!

Loydson: Good riddance!

Morgan Alexander
Vs Phoenix Winterborn
Vs TANJA DEVEREAUX
Vs Phoenix Winterborn
Vs TANJA DEVEREAUX
DING DING DING
DING DING DING
Chriqui: And your winner, via Pinfall - TANJA DEVEREAUX!!!
Duggan: Quick thinking and a timely kick and the Voodoo Queen takes home the victory.
Loydson: Alexander was hit low. That’s just uncalled for! She should be fined and disqualified!
Martinez: Smart use of the accidental fall and quick modification on that Voodoo to keep Alexander down for three.
Duggan: Tanja came out last but goes home in first with the win tonight. Let’s go backstage!
The f
eed cuts backstage, and the crowd cheers as Ace King casually strolls through the Rogers Arena backstage area, the Undisputed Championship over one shoulder and the United States Championship over the other.
Mercury
Vs Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
Vs Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
DING DING DING

Mark Storm
Vs Ryoichi Nishimura
Duggan: Ladies and Gents, we’re almost to our main event, but right now we’ve got some singles action between the up and coming Ryoichi Nishimura and your hero - and mine! - Mark Storm.
Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;
DING DING DING
DING DING DING
DING DING DING
DING DING DING
Bye-Bye!
