The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #550 in Long Beach.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, Iggy Swango, Dominic Sanders, Darius, Kendrick Kross, Stephanie Matsuda, Cyrus Black, NSFW, Darius, Clay Byrd, Stormy Taggert, Bosa, and Drago Santiago.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:

The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

Signs can be seen all over the arena, some reading:
"THE X-DIVISION'S ABOUT TO GET BLOODY!"
"NSFW = NO SYMPY FOR WEAKLINGS"
"BOSA IS MY SPIRIT ANIMAL"
"IS CHUCK GACY EVEN ALLOWED IN THIS BUILDING?"
"WHEN WE GONNA MONGER SOME WAR ROUND HERE?"
and "WE MISS YOU KOBE"
Aiello: Hello folks, and welcome to another exciting edition of Monday Night Brawl! I'm Joe Aiello alongside my colleagues Max Carter and Steve Bennett, and what a show we have in store for you tonight!
Carter: That's right Joe, after kicking off the year in Long Beach we are coming to you LIVE from the Staples Center in beautiful downtown Los Angeles with matches that have serious implications heading toward StrangleMania. Due to unforeseen circumstances we won't be seeing Justin Paird and Dylan Starr square off tonight, so instead we kick off the in-ring action with Kendrick Kross and Stormy Taggert facing off for a chance to get back into the championship conversation, before Drago Santiago and Darius collide to settle some issues we saw start up a couple weeks ago!
Bennett: Hell yeah, fully expecting a slugout from both men there as we head into a triple threat with pure bragging rights on the line as the returning Antoni Malietoa defends the honor of the red brand against Prime's former TV Champion, Faith Rivers, and the man who ended the record-breaking title reign of Ace King, our glorious United States Champion, Scorpio!
Aiello: That could turn out to be a very grueling contest, as will the clash between the returning Gabrielle Visconty and the War Queen, Stephanie Matsuda! Gabi Vee has dealt with some terrible tragedy as of late, so the question is will she be one hundred percent going up against the former X-Division Champion?
Carter: I'm not entirely sure, Joe. From what we've seen of Matsuda, if Gabi gives so much as an inch the War Queen will take a mile! That said, there's been speculation that the match is going to be a bit more extreme than was originally announced...which cannot be said of Chuck Gacy, who's made it clear from the jump that any bout he's in is bound to get violent, and he has his sights set squarely on the X-Division Champion as he takes on Xavier Reid in non-title action!
Bennett: What a bloody affair that's gonna be, you've got two tough sons o' bitches that will make tonight live up to the name Monday Night BRAWL! Reid's gonna want to avenge a loss to Ace King at the Rampage season opener, and he's gonna have to face a very dangerous Chuck Gacy.
Aiello: And you'd better believe Jim Connors is going to be keeping a close eye on Chuck both in and out of the ring tonight, after his heinous actions at the season opener! Last we heard, Silver Ann Gold is still recovering from that brutal attack at Gacy's hands. With the assumption that NSFW orchestrated the attack, Connors laid down the law by suspending them from competition this week and banning them from the building!
Carter: Which seems a little odd to me. He bans NSFW, but claims Gacy facing the champ is a suitable form of punishment? I gotta be honest, I'm not sure I fully follow that one. Still, we have a lot to look forward to tonight, including our main event as three competitors square off to determine the number one contender to the International Championship!
Bennett: That's right Max, we're gonna find out who will take on Cyrus Black in the near future for the title as Clay Byrd, Bosa, and Samantha Hamilton go at it! Clay's been lookin' for a chance to get back at Cyrus and what better way than to earn a shot at the title? Meanwhile, Hamilton wants to prove that she's more than that draw she got against Cyrus last season, and last but not least you have the rookie upstart Bosa tryin' to prove he's as good as he's been hypin' himself up to be!
"Indestructible" by Disturbed begins to play as the fans stand up and completely lose their minds!
Bennett: Well speak of the devil!
Carter: That man has taken the world by storm! These fans are literally behind him! It's like he came out of nowhere and just picked up and began waving the EWC flag!
The crowd completely erupts as Bosa emerges from the backstage area! Stopping on the stage area, he glares at the ring a moment, adjusting his gloves and pads. He looks determined, his eyes remaining on the ring as the camera pans around him.
As his theme song continues on, Bosa walks down the ramp and towards the ring, reaching out to slap the hands of the fans along the way. Once at ringside, Bosa then raises both fists slowly as a fireworks display erupts behind him, sending the fans into a frenzy. With the fans still cheering and chanting his name, Bosa lowers his fists and ascends the metal stairs. Stepping through the ropes, he circles the ring once as he nods his head in respect to the fans! The fans continue to cheer him on as Bosa comes to a stop in the middle of the ring. The fans continue to stomp their feet and cheer for Bosa as he walks over to a turnbuckle and ascends it! With his theme song playing, cameras flash as he remains on the buckle, flexing for the fans!
Bennett: Look at that kid. He is at home in that ring, like a fish to water. This should be good. After his impressive showing last week, he probably has quite a bit to say.
Aiello: Bosa... welcome to the EWC.
Hopping off of the buckle, Bosa walks around the ring until a microphone is handed to him. Bosa nods his head at the fans as they continue to cheer for a time. Finally, the support quiets down as Bosa begins to speak:
Bosa: So this is what it's like to stand in front of a packed house at Monday Night Brawl?!! I can dig this.
The fans erupt once more and begin to chant: BOSA..... BOSA.... BOSA....BOSA!
Bosa: Thank you. Seriously, I don't know where this support from you all is coming from but I am so grateful for it. Its overwhelming. You have my word, I will give you my absolute best for as long as I am here. NO shortcuts, NO excuses, all BEASTMODE! You know, years ago, my Grandfather stood in a ring just like this. I was just a small kid back then, but I can still remember the feeling that I had within me as I watched him stand before a turnout of fans just like this. This is surreal. Once this sport is in your blood there is no getting it out... so let's talk about kicking some ass, shall we? That's what you all paid your hard earned cash to see, right?
The fans cheer and pound their fists as Bosa smiles, nodding his head.
Bosa: Tonight, I am going to go to war against two other opponents at the same time. I have listened to the news all week and the critics' constant declarations about me being the weak link in this match have done nothing but fuel me. Lets let those news idiots on a little secret. I didn't join the EWC just to be scared away by some critics. I joined the EWC to find myself again, to take care of my family, and to bring this sport back to you all... the people. For years, we have watched as so called Titanesses and Gods performed in this ring, considering themselves above this damn sport. That time ends now. Tonight, I am going to bury those chumps and take one more step towards the ultimate mission.... the EWC International Championship.
Bosa walks around the ring as the fans scream with delight!
Bosa: Cyrus Black... I hope you are watching tonight. Take some notes. I am coming for you. You are my endgame. Now don't get me wrong, I am fully aware that things may not go my way once all is said and done tonight. Hell, it doesn't even have to be my shoulders that are pinned to the mat for me to lose! I have been training my ass off though. I have been preparing for all outcomes, and I can tell you right now... win or lose... you will have to deal with me sooner or later. So grab a seat and enjoy the show. As for my opponents tonight, I hope that you didn't make plans for the weekend. The only thing that you have on the schedule is a hospital stay and a large ice pack. Tonight belongs to me. It belongs to these fans. IT BELONGS TO BRAWL.... AND WE ARE TAKING BACK THE EWC!!!
Bosa looks right into the camera.
Bosa: BEASTMODE.... INITIATED.
Bosa tosses the microphone over his shoulder as his theme song begins to play once again! Exiting the ring, the fans cheer loudly as they chant: BEASTMODE.... BEASTMODE.... BEASTMODE!!!!
Bennett: Beastmode? That's going to be on a shirt.
Carter: Big words from the rookie tonight. These fans are really behind him. Are we seeing the start of something special?
Aiello: Time will tell. As for tonight, we're kicking off our in-ring action as Kendrick Kross takes on Stormy Taggert when we return. Don't go away!
The fans cheer and pound their fists as Bosa smiles, nodding his head.

A TALE OF VIOLENCE AND CHAOS!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Kendrick Kross
VS Stormy Taggert
VS Stormy Taggert
We return to ringside where Kendrick Kross and Stormy Taggert are moments away from doing battle.
Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, up next is Stormy Taggert versus Kendrick Kross, and it's gonna be a good one.
Bennett: Stormy's not going to play by the rules. She's proven that in the past. If Kendrick wants to win this, he has to be willing to fight dirty, and I just don't think he's got it in him to do that.
Carter: He's got a good size advantage, but Taggert will do anything to win. I expect to see a low blow or something equally nefarious from her.
The slow picking part of So Cold plays as the lights flash white site with each pick. As the first two words of the lyrics 'Crowded Streets' start the white spotlight shines down on Kendrick who is standing there with his black jeans and black and white Kross T-Shirt and leather jacket. Kendrick walks down, the spotlight gone with the arena lights red and others flashing silver.
Stroup: The following match is a single fall match. Joining us first, from Chelsea, London, weighing in at 215 pounds ... KENDRICK KROSS!
Kendrick slowly continues his descent down the ramp ignoring any fans that try to touch him. He just shakes his head at signs that read 'Kendrick Sucks' and other various signs. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and stops as he lets a small smirk out and he takes a breath. He closes his eyes before opening them and walking forward taking a left towards the steps. He hops over the top rope and onto the second turnbuckle looking out into the crowd before jumping down and walking to his corner.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 155 pounds ... The Bride ... STORMY TAGGERT!
‘Black Wedding’ by In This Moment begins to play, the arena bathed in a dim purple light. A figure emerges on the stage dressed in a flowing black gown, face covered in a black veil and holding a bouquet of black roses. Slowly moving to the top of the ramp, she stops until the piano comes in, tossing the bouquet into the crowd and shedding the veil and gown, dressed in a tight form fitting white singlet with a few carefully placed cuts to show off her figure. She tosses her head back, letting out a scream before racing down the ramp to the ring, sliding in beneath the bottom rope, coming to a stop in the center of the ring. She holds her arms out, glaring out at the crowd before springing up to her feet and moving to her corner, banging her forehead against the turnbuckle three times before turning to stare down her opponent.
DING DING DING
Kendrick Kross is able to thwart any offense from Stormy Taggert in the beginning moments of the match as he unleashes a flurry of kicks and punches. An especially devastating combo sees Kendrick hit Stormy with a European Uppercut, followed by a Roundhouse Kick, and completed by a Step Up Enziguri. Kendrick makes a cover, but Taggert kicks out at barely a two count. He decides to try for an arm bar, but Taggert is able to slip out of it before he can successfully lock it in. Taggert uses an eye jab to stop Kendrick from suplexing her. She follows up with a face rake, backhand chop and a running bulldog. She covers Kendrick, who kicks out just after one.
Aiello: Momentum starting to work in Stormy's favor thanks to that blatant eye jab.
Bennett: Do whatever you have to do to keep yourself out of a submission, Aiello.
Carter: Kendrick needs to turn things around again if he's going to come out victorious in this match.
Stormy and Kendrick go back and forth on the offensive, but Kendrick gets an opening when Stormy fails to connect with a flying clothesline. Kendrick delivers a DDT after spinning his opponent around. He pulls her off the mat and lifts her up in the air with a vertical suplex. He brings her back to her feet after she came crashing down, and is successfully able to deliver a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. It's would appear Kendrick is looking to finish her off now as he lands a Pele Kick and heads up the top turnbuckle to perform Mountains Rain, but Stormy rolls out of the way just in time and Kendrick hits the mat.
Aiello: It's not over yet! She narrowly avoided Kendrick's finisher!
Bennett: I doubt she'd have been able to kick out if he'd been able to connect.
Carter: And the match continues!
Stormy attempts to pounce on Kendrick with a Lou Thesz Press, but he grabs her by the back of the head and slams her down on the mat face first. It looks like--could it be?!--yes, as Stormy tries to push herself up off the mat, Kendrick leaps up and slams his boot down on her head! THE TRAMP STAMP! The fans are applauding Kendrick! Kendrick hooks a leg; this is it!
..... 1..... 2...... 3!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... KENDRICK KROSS!
The fans cheer for Kendrick. They loved the match they just witnessed, there's no doubt about that! They cheer even louder as the referee holds Kendrick's arm up in victory.
Aiello: Kendrick brought his A-game tonight. He was prepared to handle whatever Stormy tried throwing at him.
Bennett: Big tough guy, beating up a woman weighing 60 pounds less than him. What a jerk!
Carter: Stormy knew exactly what she was getting into when she agreed to this match. Come on, Bennett, we're all adults here.
Aiello: Still, this looks to be a step in the right direction for Kendrick Kross and it'll be interesting to see where he goes from here! Up next, Drago Santiago and Darius square off!
Camera cuts to ...
Our very brave cameraperson has managed to slip into a pitch dark corner of the arena. She’s at a safe distance, but thanks to the zoom lens we’re tight in on Chuck Gacy’s face. The only light is from the cell phone he’s holding in his hands, the unnatural light source casting his visage in a play of light and shadow that looks almost ghoulish. He’s leaned in close, hanging on to every word issuing forth from the device’s speaker.
Man’s Voice: … and just like that everyone’s talking about you. But that isn’t enough. There is this assumption that you won’t take it too far. That you aren’t what you say you are.
Other Voice: That ain’t no good, Chuck. You need to take it too far from here on out. We ain’t gonna hold you back anymore.
Chuck just nods.
Man’s Voice: We can’t. We aren’t there. But here’s something that Mike and I understand and Chuck, I think you are now, too. What happened to Silver isn’t any of our faults.
There is what could be considered perplexion on Gacy’s face.
Church: Yes, you directly affected her situation but this is what this company wants. They want to perpetuate this brand warfare. You’ve got posers claiming they'll bring war. War is chaos. War is discord. War is misery. We will give them what they want whether they know it or not.
McGuire: Anybody coulda stopped that shit, or at least gave it the good ol’ college try. Nobody did. What happened? That was all on them. We’re being punished for no reason, and we got a hearing with that fuckin’ muppet Connors about this suspension shit.
Church: But that’s okay, Chuck. Because you’re there. And tonight you can be a harbinger of things to come.
McGuire: You’re doing such a good job, Chuck. Keep it up and all of us’ll benefit.
Chuck continues to nod along with the pair, each word being taken in its full impact. It’d be fair to say that it put a good amount of wind in Chuck’s sails
Gacy: I got this, man. Don’t worry about it, ‘specially that lil’ fuckin’ wannabe cop caller Connors. He wants to talk big shit, suspend people, “punish” people ‘n shit? I got somethin’ for his ass and that punk Xavier Reid too. If anyone thought that lil’ bitch getting rocked was somethin’ to worry about?
The thoughts of what’s to come puts a crooked, wicked grin on Chuck’s face.
Gacy: They ain’t seen nothin’ yet and I’m willin’ to bet that everyone’s gonna be flappin’ their lips about how we do what we want and that fuckin’ pussy Jim Connors or anyone else won’t do shit about it. Them’s the facts.
There’s a brief silence on the other line.
McGuire: We love it, Chuck. See, I knew we came to you for a good reason. You show ‘em. You show ‘em all. We’ll be watching.
There’s a soft ‘beep’ as NSFW hangs up, the scene going dark as we move to a commercial break.
Carter: Well, we’ve had quite the show so far, and now, I’m told Bob Murray is backstage with a special guest.
The feed cuts backstage to a close-up of Bob's face as he sits on an interview set.
Murray: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m pleased to be joined by the newly-minted EWC Wrestler of the Week, Ace King. Thank you for the time.
The crowd politely claps as ‘The Gambler’ appears on the MacTron, his expression looking level.
King: Yes, thank you for having me.
Murray: First of all, congratulations on being named the first EWC Wrestler of the Week for 2020. What do you think has been the key to your strong start to the season?
Ace ponders the question for a moment, his expression unchanged.
King: It hasn’t been easy, but as cliché as it sounds, taking it one match at a time has helped. Once I’m in the ring, I try not to overthink things. I wish I had a more exciting answer for you, but that’s just reality.
Murray: Fair enough. Now, with StrangleMania on the horizon, do you have an inkling on Which direction you want to go?
Again, ‘The Gambler’ thinks it over before looking down the camera lens.
King: I mean, wherever the wind takes me, at this point. I’m not really in a position to be calling my shot, so just getting there will be an achievement. That’s not fake humility, as some have tried to cast upon me, it’s just the honest truth.
Murray: Fans have seen a bit of a change in your demeanour since you lost the United States Championship at Wrestlefest. What do you have to say to those who have stuck by you since then?
‘The Gambler’ puffs a bit of air out of his bottom lip, his eyes welling up a bit.
King: I don’t always understand it, but I appreciate it. A lot of things have gone through my brain the last couple months, and I didn’t realize just how tortured a place it was. Like I said a couple weeks ago, my championship protected me from those things, so now, I have to face those things before I can move forward. I’m fortunate to have a few…
Ace pauses to try and collect his emotions in vain.
King: ...A few people who care about me, and they help me keep going, even if I don’t always show it.
Murray: Well, with everything we’ve been talking about, I have to ask: Are you OK?
Ace raises an eyebrow at the question, though he remains silent as the crowd buzzes. Murray clears his throat one more.
Murray: Ace, are you OK?
After a few more seconds of silence, Ace finally clears his throat and exhales, though he looks somewhat lost.
King: ...I honestly don’t know. I’m sorry.
With that, Ace unplugs his ear piece and walks off the set, leaving Murray speechless as we cut to…
A DANGEROUS DUEL!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Drago Santiago
VS Darius
VS Darius
Aiello: We’re back at ringside where we wait for our next match, one that was set up on the season premiere of Brawl! Drago approached Darius and had a few words for him about his newly declared intentions, Darius didn’t take too kindly to said words, so now we’re here!
Bennett: Darius wanted an X-Division match but the little coward wouldn’t do it, so it has to be a singles match … Boring.
Carter: I think this will be anything but boring; it’s brains vs brawns. Darius won his match against Kross and is looking to keep that momentum, while Drago lost his match against Bosa and Maverick, so I imagine he is looking to rebound from that in a big way!
"We Appreciate Power" - by Grimes begins to blast from the arena's speakers, perfectly synced to the red blaring lighting replacing white. The light of the screen dies, and red lighting blasting across the stadium reveals Santiago standing at the stage entrance. Per rising, Drago 's stoic, scowling face looks over the crowd, the referee, and his opponent. He ignores hands reaching forward from the crowd for high fives, knocks posters out of the way, and taunts the crowd on his way to the ring.
Stroup: Introducing first, weighing in at 202 lbs, he is the one winged angel ... DRAGO SANTIAGO!
Aiello: Drago looks prepared for this match tonight, but is he prepared for the promises made by Darius?
Bennett: You mean the promise of tearing him apart with his barbed wire bat? I doubt it! That and I’m pretty sure Elissa is gonna kick his little ass too!
Carter: Drago has a lot going on in his head, I’m sure he has something up his sleeve to deal with both Darius and Elissa tonight!
...
"Let's burn it fucking down!"
As soon as "Gasoline" by I Prevail begins to play, plumes of thick white smoke covers the stage, Darius and Elissa Bradley emerge from within, Darius holding Elissa with one hand, his bat in the other, and donning looks of absolute aggression and determination on both of their faces.
Stroup: And now, being accompanied to the ring by Elissa Bradley, he is from Albany, New York, weighing in at 265 lbs ... DARIUS!
Darius hypes himself up, slams the bat against the ramp a few times, then rushes down the ramp and slides into the ring. He leaps onto one of the turnbuckle and harasses the crowd for a moment, smacks the bat on the top of the ring post a few times, then holds the bat high into the air with one hand and throws devil horns up with his other hand as he waits for the match to begin.
Aiello: Woah! Those two do NOT look happy!
Bennett: Well after what Drago said to them, I’m not surprised! He called Elissa a prop and said Darius was falling off from the hardcore wagon!
Carter: I hope Darius remembers this is a singles match … One hit with that bat and Drago gets an easy win!
DING DING DING
Darius grips the bat tightly in his hands, snarling at Drago as Drago paces in front of the opposite turnbuckle. Drago extends his arms outward and offers to let Darius strike him, leading to Darius tightening his grip even more, but then instead looks to Elissa on the outside and hands the bat off to her.
Darius turns his attention back to Drago, who now reaches out at Darius and grabs at his fingers, but Darius pulls his hand back and drives his elbow across Drago’s jaw! Darius lays an uppercut under Drago’s jaw, then shoves him back into the turnbuckle. Darius climbs onto the middle rope and then pushes his hands down into Drago’s face, digging his thumbs into Drago’s eyes! The referee tries pulling Darius away but is unable, so he begins the five count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Darius drops down from the ropes and throws his hands into the air, grinning and laughing as he slowly backs away from Drago.
Aiello: My god, I thought he was going to dig his eyes right out of his head!
Bennett: That would have been nasty but AWESOME!
Carter: That would also be a disqualification … I’m starting to wonder if Darius cares at this point.
Darius makes his way back to Drago, pulling the referee out of the way in the process, but takes a stiff kick to the knee from Drago! Darius drops down to a knee, giving Drago the opportunity to grab a handful of Darius’ hair with both hands, then starts slamming Darius’ face into the bottom turnbuckle over and over again!
As soon as the referee begins the five count, Drago slams Darius’ head back onto the mat and away from the turnbuckle. Drago then mounts over Darius with a sadistic grin, takes Darius’ right hand into his hands, and then starts to pry Darius’ pinky far to the side, further than it should bend … Then pulls back with unforgiving force!
Darius lets out a howl of pain and tries to escape, but Drago stays tight on top, reaching for yet another finger. Before he is able to take a full grip, Elissa reaches into the ring, grabs Darius’ hand, and pulls it closer to the rope, letting Darius finally be able to grab the rope and break the hold!
Aiello: And there she is again, saving Darius! Where would he be without her?!
Bennett: Still winning.
Carter: Hey, who the hell is that?!
Two individuals come sprinting down the ramp and jump up onto the apron. They start yelling and screaming nonsense at the referee, causing him to turn his attention to them. Drago grins widely, then looks down to Darius, grabbing his hair, and putting his throat onto the bottom rope. Drago then stands, puts his boot onto the back of Darius’ head, and presses down, beginning to crush Darius’ throat between the rope and Drago’s boot!
Elissa hops up onto the turnbuckle and drives a stiff right hand into the jaw of Drago, knocking him away from Darius for a moment. She stands firm on the apron, threatening Drago loudly enough for the referee to turn and see her on the apron. He then starts going for Elissa, telling her to get off the apron, which she does.
The two unknown individuals then begin to converse with Drago, pointing to Darius’ bat that is laying on the outside of the ring. Drago simply nods, then turns his attention back to Darius, but is then greeted by an unwelcome low blow! Drago grasps the family jewels and drops to the mat, coughing loudly, as Darius pulls himself up with the turnbuckle, spitting blood down to the mat as he gets to his feet.
Aiello: What is going on!? Who are those people?! Is Darius bleeding internally?! Someone get this referee some help, there is too much happening!
Bennett: I think they are Drago's new managers?!
Carter: The only thing I know for sure is that Darius looks absolutely PISSED right now!
Darius sees the two individuals running around the ring, who then pick his bat up from the ground. A scowl sprawls across his face, then he exits the ring and runs around to the two, spearing the one who picked up his bat right into the steel steps! The bat rolls to the feet of the other individual, who then picks it up and tosses it into the ring next to Drago!
Darius then grabs them by the throat, headbutts them hard, and then slams them face first into the steel ring post! Darius then grabs a chair from the timekeeper’s area, turns to face the individual again, and slams the chair square across their back!
Now that both of the outsiders are down, Darius slides into the ring, chair still in hand, but Drago is also back to his feet with Darius’ bat in his hands! The referee sees this and orders both men to drop their weapons, but neither seem to be giving an inch!
Aiello: Oh we’re about to see a war break out!
Bennett: Let them fight! Let them fight!
Carter: You may get your wish!
Darius lets out a primal roar and swings the chair wildly towards Drago, but instead drops it at the last second, and then connects with a stiff shoulder tackle, knocking Drago back into the turnbuckle! Darius unloads into Drago, laying elbow after elbow into Drago’s skull in the corner, then takes a step back, winds up, and connects with a rolling elbow straight into Dragos jaw! Darius then looks down to Elissa, who is already handing his now barbed wire covered bat up to him, then she runs to the other side of the ring, hops up onto the apron and taps the referee on the shoulder.
The referee turns around and sees Elissa taking off her vest, laying it along the top rope, all while wagging her finger at him, telling him to come closer. While the referee is distracted by her antics, Darius has pulled Drago up to his feet in the corner. Darius leans in real close to Drago and whispers something into his ear, then takes a few steps back.
Drago stumbles forward, walking right into an attempted swing from Darius, but Drago ducks out of the way! Drago runs to the ropes, rebounds off of them, and tries to grab Darius with a flying armbar … But Darius catches Drago mid air with the bat, slamming it directly into his midsection! Darius then drives the tip of the bat down into Drago’s forehead, grinding the barbed wire into his flesh for a moment before tossing the bat to the outside! The referee turns around and sees Darius kneeling over a now bloodied Drago, but never saw the bat!
Aiello: The referee never saw it!
Bennett: Hows THAT for hardcore, Drago?!
Carter: And Darius looks very proud of himself too … What a sicko!
Darius then picks Drago up to his feet, completely dazed and nearly unable to stand on his own. Darius spits in his face, leaps back into the ropes, and springs forward, spearing Drago hard with The Hunter’s Mark! Before making the pin, Darius looks down at Drago’s hand, smirks, then slams the heel of his boot down onto Drago’s fingers, attempting to break them all in one fell swoop, but then hooks both legs!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Here is your winner via submission … DARIUS!
Aiello: Well that turned bloody quick!
Bennett: Of course it did! Darius was involved! He is the king of extreme!
Carter: Darius’ win streak has stayed in tact … What’s next for him now?!
We move to a commercial break.
“MAKE WAY! MOVE! UNITED STATES CHAMPION COMING THROUGH!”
Our scene opens to backstage at The Staples Center as Crème de la Crème is shouting at some of the EWC’s backstage crew members and fans, clearing them out the way. Once a path has been formed the one and only Scorpio rounds the corner, his blended Star Spangled Banner and Union Jack coat swishing behind him, the United States Championship over his shoulder. He stares at the groups of people backstage as he passes them, a sneer on his face.
Scorpio: Take a photo, bitches, it’ll last longer…
He holds his head high with a pout and a smirk as Crème gestures towards him, and The S-Factor caresses the United States Championship over his shoulder. As he’s walking suddenly The (Unofficial) 46th President of The United States’ head turns with a snap, and he stares at one of the runners. She looks back at him with a bemused expression…
Scorpio: What the hell were you saying about me?
Runner: … I didn’t say anything—
Scorpio: Didn’t say anything? DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING?! DO YOU THINK I’M HEARING THINGS, YOU PATHETIC LITTLE ASSISTANT?!
The S-Factor sneers before he stares around at everyone in the backstage area…
Scorpio: LISTEN THE HELL UP! On Rampage I proved every one of you wrong and I pinned the Undisputed Champion after two brutal AGRs. I went out there in Long Beach and I promised you all this would be Scorpio Season, I swore down I would take that putrid little whore off of her perch AND I WENT OUT THERE AND I DID IT! The North American Champion has fallen to me, the X-Division Champion has fallen to me, and now the Undisputed Champion has fallen to me. I’m undefeated in 2020 AND I WILL BE THE NUMBER-ONE IN THE ELITE 15 WHEN THEY FINALLY RELEASE IT…
He rolls his eyes, turning to Crème.
Scorpio: Yet again the EWC powers-that-be are trying to keep me down; obviously as soon as I’m due to top the Elite 15 they decide to hold off for another month in the desperate hope that Ace King finds his feet or Malone stops sucking this season, right?
He shakes his head.
Scorpio: Anyway… the point is you utter cretins don’t deserve to even look at me let alone pass comment or judgement. I am it this season. I am already the 2020 Wrestler of The Year, a future Undisputed Champion, a future double if not damn triple champion this year… THIS IS SCORPIO SEASON AND ALL OF YOU ARE HERE TO WATCH AND APPLAUD… learn your fucking places and learn them quickly…
The Rampage Commander-In-Chief gets right in the runner’s face, staring her down, before he runs his tongue over his perfectly-white teeth, gritting them.
Scorpio: So shut the fuck up, sit the fuck down, and watch me destroy this Prime bitch and this Samoan waste of space… okay?
Without waiting for an answer Scorpio spins on his Louboutin heel and struts his way through the backstage corridor, Crème following suit as she rapidly taps away on a phone…
Aiello: Once again we apologise for some of our United States Champion’s on-air language…
Bennett: This son o’bitch has got unstoppable confidence after beatin’ Ace King… ya gotta love it!
Carter: He may have ploughed through champion after champion so far this season, but it’s very early days, and I think it’s only a matter of time before someone Scorpio underestimates causes an upset… perhaps Faith Rivers or Antoni Mallietoa are the ones to do it?
A BATTLE BETWEEN BRANDS!
[TRIPLE THREAT MATCH]
Antoni Malietoa
VS Faith Rivers
VS Scorpio
VS Faith Rivers
VS Scorpio
Aiello: Up next is the first of two triple threats tonight, with brand pride on the line as Antoni Malietoa returns to face Prime's Faith Rivers and Rampage's very own United States Champion, Scorpio!
Bennett: Scorpio made the statement of the century at WrestleFest, and we saw the effects of that victory radiating from Ace King just earlier tonight! And now, Scorpio Season rolls into Los Angeles as he looks to beat the returning Great Warrior and the leader of the Faithful Army!
Carter: All three competitors have been making statements all their own heading into this match, Rivers is looking to rebound from losing the TV Championship and Antoni wants to prove he's one hundred percent after that injury that kept him out of action most of last season!
Stroup: The following match is a triple threat match! Joining us first, from Apia, Samoa, weighing in at 254 pounds ... ANTONI MALIETOA!
Fog engulfs the entrance ramp, highlighted by green lights as "Be Somebody" by Fort Minor begins to play throughout the arena. From the smoke emerges Antoni Malietoa with his eyes wide and arms out to his sides. As the fog clears, Antoni takes a step forward as he psychs him self up with a yell. The crowd begins to cheer for the Great Warrior as he makes his way to the ring.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 135 pounds ... FAITH RIVERS!
"Legendary" by Skillet plays as Faith Rivers steps out, pumping the crowd up as she heads toward the ring. After sliding in under the bottom rope, Faith gets to her feet and continues to work the crowd as she walks to the center of the ring where she holds each of her arms out to the side and spins in a circle. As she does this, pyros go off in each corner. From there, Faith retreats to her side of the ring and waits for the match to begin.
Stroup: And their opponent, from London, England, weighing in at 205 pounds, he is the S-Factor and the United States Champion ... SCORPIO!
'Iconic' by Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper hits the speakers as the house lights go down, switching to a spotlight focused on the curtain. It parts, revealing 'The S-Factor' Scorpio stood behind, a hand on his hip, the other raised above his head, cutting a beautiful silhouette. He sashays forward, a long coat dripping in jewels swaying with every step. Behind him steps Crème de la Crème, Scorpio's drag queen confidant and manager. The two look to one another and nod, before Scorpio opens his coat and drops it to the floor, revealing another stunning outfit. He steps down the ramp with a confident strut, emulating that of the catwalk models of Paris and Milan, before reaching the ring. Scorpio climbs up one set of steps as Crème climbs the other, parting the ropes to allow 'The People's Camp' in. Stepping into the middle of the ring Scorpio raises one arm, and blows a kiss with the other, a smile forming on his beautifully made-up face before turning his attention to his opponents.
DING DING DING
The action heats up quickly in this triple threat match as Scorpio immediately charges at Rivers with a flurry of offense before Antoni forces the S-Factor to back away. The two men exchange strikes before Antoni gets the upper hand with a forearm that sends Scorpio reeling just enough for Antoni to capitalize with a running forearm for good measure! Scorpio is in the corner now, but Rivers ends the proceedings with a kick to the leg that forces the Great Warrior to focus his attention on her instead, as the leader of the Faithful Army unloads a series of kicks on Antoni! Rivers runs against the ropes, but is caught on the rebound by Antoni who drops her with a big powerslam! Rivers is down as Antoni focuses his attention on Scorpio, charging at the S-Factor in the corner...but Scorpio dodges in the nick of time, and Antoni goes crashing shoulder first into the steel post!
Aiello: Oh my, what impact that's gotta have on the shoulder of Malietoa!
Bennett: What strategy by the S-Factor to get out of the way!
Antoni is favoring his shoulder as Scorpio turns his attention to Rivers, who is back on her feet. These two now go at it, looking for an advantage in the striking game before Rivers goes for an enziguri, connecting square to the head! Scorpio is down as Rivers looks to ride the momentum to a victory tonight...WALKING RIGHT INTO A SPEAR BY ANTONI! Rivers got caught by surprise, and the Great Warrior goes for a cover...but Scorpio manages to break the count at two! The crowd jeers the interference by the S-Factor, who smirks for just a moment before going to work on Antoni's shoulder.
Aiello: Scorpio looking to take advantage of the damage Antoni took to that shoulder earlier in the match.
Bennett: I'd say better the shoulder than that leg, right Max?
Carter: Perhaps, we haven't seen how the leg is holding up just yet!
Alas, the United States remember that leg well from their previous encounter, changing his target right to that with some hard kicks that bring Antoni down to one knee. Scorpio taunts him before landing a hard roundhouse kick that drops Antoni down to the canvas! Scorpio continues the attack, wanting to remind Antoni precisely what he did to him the last time as he goes to work on the leg now, tweaking it just to hear the screams from Antoni who reaches for the ropes and just manages to grab the bottom one to break the hold. Scorpio holds on just a little longer before letting go, but Rivers is right on top of him with some punches that send Scorpio away just enough for Rivers to get in a spinning heel kick on the champ!
Aiello: Rivers is far from out of this match, ready to prove her point against the United States Champion tonight!
Bennett: I'll give her credit as a former TV Champion, this is her chance to really shine on the big stage on Brawl!
Scorpio backs off as Antoni manages to get back to his feet, coming after the man that took him out of action for so long as he looks to hit another big forearm on Scorpio, who ducks under...AND NAILS ANTONI WITH THE HEEL TURN! Scorpio drove that Louboutin heel right into the face of the Great Warrior, but he still has Rivers to contend with as Scorpio gets to his feet...PAPARAZZI'S FLASH! Scorpio hitting that Ranheii on Rivers, but with another smirk on his face he rolls Rivers out of the ring before covering Antoni! ONE! TWO!! THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... SCORPIO!
The ref raises Scorpio's arm in victory as he stands over the fallen Malietoa
Aiello: What a match we just witnessed, three brands represented well tonight!
Bennett: All three gave it their all here, but we just saw Scorpio pick up another win to continue Scorpio Season!
Carter: I gotta give all the credit in the world to Antoni Malietoa for putting in a ton of effort on his Brawl return, and to Faith Rivers for proving she could hang with some tough hombres here on Monday Night Brawl!
Aiello: Absolutely, the folks at Prime would be well proud of her tonight! Up next, we have Gabrielle Visconty making HER return to Brawl as she takes on the War Queen, Stephanie Matsuda!
We move to a commercial break.
DO CLOUDS REALLY HAVE SILVER LININGS?
[SINGLES MATCH]
Gabrielle Visconty
VS Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda
VS Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda
Aiello: Our next match of the night features the return of Gabrielle Visconty.
Carter: Just 2 months ago Gabi was involved in a car accident that claimed the lives of her mother and father, as well as put her as unable to compete due to injuries sustained.
Bennett: The real question in my mind is where she is physically and mentally. We all know Gabi was never accused of being the most sane person to begin with.
Aiello: Let's not make light of the opponent she faces tonight in Stephanie Matsuda. Stephanie is most likely looking to get a little revenge on Gabrielle for that first loss in the EWC that Gabi handed her.
Carter: Not to mention the loss her and Sam Hamilton took to NSFW last Brawl. What Stephanie will we see tonight?
Bennett: Hopefully the one that wants to shed some blood.
Aiello: Gabi had some harsh things to say in her promo... I would expect Stephanie to come out focused and ready to prove a point.
Stroup: The following match is a singles match scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, from Honolulu, Hawaii, weighing in at 118 pounds ... GABRIELLE VISCONTY!!
The lights in the arena slowly flicker and dim as the opening sounds of “Non-Entity” by Nine Inch Nails begins to play. Fog billows out of the entrance way as Gabrielle Visconty slowly emerges from the fog on the entrance ramp. She is dragging a table along with her as she stops at the top of the ramp and scans over the arena before walking down the ramp, her eyes fixed on the floor of the arena. Tommy Love follows out quicklt from the fog and moves up to Gabrielle's side. She reaches ringside and slides the table under the bottom rope before she follows it in herself. She sets up and table and sits on the side waiting for Stephanie. Tommy walks around the outside of the ring and over to the announcers table. Once there he grabs Aiello's headset.
Love: She's back, baby. Gabi is going to show Stephanie exactly why you don't mess with Tommy Love.
Tommy tosses the headset back over to Aiello as he walks back around to Gabrielle's corner.
Bennett: Good old Tommy... He's backing his superstar like the professional manager he is. I do have to say I kind of like this new attitude out of Gabi.
Carter: Gone is the pink hair and sporty ring attire. It is time to see if she has truly healed up from the accident. There is no telling what is going through the mind of Gabi Vee right now.
Aiello: Uh... Can I get some sani-wipes for my headset before I put it back on, please?
Bennett: Just put the damn thing on, Joe. Max, I have to agree with you for once.
Stroup: Coming to the ring next, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 132 pounds ... STEPHANIE 'CLOUD' MATSUDA!!
“Rainy Days” by Boogie plays as Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda walks out dressed in her signature black fitted cap and a bandanna around her face. Trailed by manager Monica Vaughan, Matsuda walks on stage and crouches low, getting ready for her match.
Stephanie and Monica walk down the ramp, their eyes fixated on the ring. At the bottom of the ramp, Matsuda walks over to the ring. She smiles at Gabi sitting on the table and flips up the ring apron and pulls two chairs. Stephanie tosses them into the ring and then slides in under the bottom rope. She takes a moment to run the ropes and throws her hat into the crowd. She then climbs the nearest turnbuckle, pulls down her bandanna, and stares into the crowd.
Bennett: We all know Stephanie is down for a violent match, but is Gabi? This is Stephanie's world.
Aiello: Where are the wipes?
Carter: Looks like Gabi is ready to back up the claim that this match was going to be a TLC match, and Stephanie is more than happy to follow suit.
DING DING DING
The bell sounds and Gabi slides off the table and starts walking across the ring towards Stephanie. Steph takes a stance and smiles as she motions for Gabi to bring it. Gabi feints a charge and then steps in with a rounhouse kick to the side of Steph. Stephanie easily blocks it and counter with a elbow smash that staggers Gabi back a couple steps, covering the side of her head with her hand. Stephanie shakes her head at Gabi as she steps forward and grabs a handful of Gabi's hair. Stephanie whips Gabi into the corner and follows it in with a knee to her gut. Gabi doubles over and Steph pulls her out of the corner and arm drags her to the mat.Carter: Gabi is off to a slow start. Looks like she may have expected a different start.
Bennett: I don't think trying to land a roundhouse kick on someone of Matsuda's background was a wise opening move.
Joe looks around nervously before uncomfortably putting the headset on.
Aiello: Ugh... God, if I get crabs from this...
Bennett: Calm down.
Carter: Tommy touched it, and he did brag about getting crabs in his eyebrows once.
Bennett: Well .. good point.
Aiello: Thanks you two... just thanks.
Stephanie rolls up to her feet as Gabi does the same. Steph kicks Gabi in the leg and then reverses it to a high kick but Gabi ducks under it and grabs Stephanie, hitting a quick twisting side suplex. Gabi rolls up quickly and front flip leg drops Steph as she is attempting to stand. Gabi pops back to her feet and heads for the ropes. Gabi springboards off the ropes and just misses Stephanie with a double stomp. Steph rolls under the table and stands up behind it. She shoves it at Gabi and Gabi rolls over the top of it and right into a superkick from Stephanie.
Carter: YAHTZEE! Steph is going for the pin!!
Bennett: Matsuda really setup Gabi on that.
Stephanie covers Gabrielle for the pin.
1...
Tommy grabs Gabi's foot and puts it in the ropes as he yells at the ref.
2...
The ref breaks the pin attempt as Tommy smiles victoriously. Stephanie shoots Tommy a dirty look as she stands up.
Aiello: Tommy weaseling his way in to the match and making the save.
Carter: Gabi looks a little slow getting to her feet.
Bennett: I've seen Gabi take much worse.
Steph walks over and grabs one of the chairs and walks back and cracks Gabi in the back with the chair. Gabi howls in pain as she staggers away. Steph stalks Gabi and moves in with another shot to Gabi's back, driving her to one knee. Steph cocks back for another big shot and Gabi dives into Steph's left knee. Stephanie drops the chair and clutches her knee, limping a bit as Gabi gets to her feet. Gabi grabs the chair off the mat and cracks Stephanie over the back of the head. Gabi then sprints to the ropes comes off with a charge, driving the chair into Stephanie's side. Gabi then rolls out of the ring and flips up the apron, pulling out a 15' ladder and shoving it into the ring. The ref starts the count out but only gets to three before Gabi rolls back under the bottom ropes. Stephanie gets back to her feet as Gabi finishes setting up the ladder in the corner of the ring.
Bennett: Gabi backing up the TLC comment in her promo. We got the unholy trinity rolling now.
Carter: Tommy creeping around the side of the ring. Is he heading towards Monica?
Aiello: Looks like it. She'll need some sani-wipes if he touches her.
Bennett: Tommy doing what Tommy does. He's out to distract Stephanie... the guy is a genius.
Aiello: And all around slimeball.
Stephanie moves in on Gabi then notices Monica moving away from Tommy. Tommy stops and hold his hands up in the air feigning innocence. Gabi takes the distraction to charge in and boot Stephanie in the gut and follow it up with an ax kick, driving Stephanie to one knee. Gabi sprints to the ropes and dashes back for a running knee attack that lays Stephanie out. Gabi rolls up and points to the ladder, drawing a huge pop from the crowd. Gabi starts to climb the ladder and as she gets tot he top Stephanie suddenly rolls to the ladder and kicks it. The ladder rocks and then tips over, sending Gabi and the ladder crashing out of the ring, right between Tommy and Monica. Steph charges to the ropes as Tommy wisely backs away. Stephanie grabs the bottom of the ladder still on the ropes and pulls it back into the ring as Gabi struggles to crawl to the guard railing. Stephanie sets up the ladder at the ropes and starts to climb. Stephanie gets to the top and sizes up the jump as Gabi climbs to her feet. Stephanie leaps off with a shooting star press and right into Gabi's double knee facebreaker.
Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
Carter: Oh my God! That had to be a 20 foot drop!
Bennett: I think Gabi just killed Stephanie.
Aiello: Gabi doesn't look too much better.
Gabi is rolling around in pain as she holds her knees. The ref starts the count out.

Gabi rolls over and starts to crawl up the steps.
5...
Monica dashes over to check on Steph, rubbing her back trying to bring some life back into her.
6...
Gabi grabs the bottom rope and pulls herself up onto the apron.
7...
Steph suddenly pushes herself up off the arena floor, blood draining from her mouth. The crowd pops as Steph struggles to get to her feet.
8...
Gabi rolls into the ring. Stephanie wipes her arm across her face and then sees Gabi roll into the ring. She wills herself to stagger across and start to climb the apron.
9....
10 – No. Stephanie rolls back into the ring. Gabi is screaming to the ref that Stephanie didn't make it back in before 10. The ref shakes his head at her and holds up 9 fingers. Gabi limps back over as Stephanie is starting to stand up and yanks her to her feet by her hair. Stephanie spits in Gabi's face.
Carter: Blasian Mist! Gabi is blinded!
Bennett: Desperation move by Steph.
Aiello: It could just buy her the time needed to recover from that double knee to the jaw.
Gabi staggers away and drops to her knees as she wipes at her eyes. Stephanie staggers over to the ladder and leans against it a moment, rubbing her jaw. Gabi gets to her feet but she is blinking and rubbing her eyes. Stephanie walks over and drags the table into the center of the ring and grabs a chair while Gabi is trying to clear her vision. Stephanie stalks in on the blinded Gabi and cracks her over the head. Gabi staggers forward in pain and into the ropes. She turns around and blinks her eyes as she searches for Stephanie. Steph steps forward and swings for Gabi's head and Gabi just barely ducks under the shot and rolls away. Tommy is screaming from the side of the ring, shouting directions on where Stephanie is. Gabi drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Tommy runs over and checks on Gabi while Stephanie starts towards the ropes. The ref begins counting Gabi out as Tommy dashes over and grabs a bottled water out of a little kids hands. He returns to Gabi and splashes it into her eyes just as Stephanie baseball slides out of the ring and into Gabi's back. Gabi crashes into Tommy and they both go down.
Aiello: Heads up move by Tommy. He may have just kept Gabrielle in the fight.
Carter: Stephanie is looking to have shook off the effects of the double knee facebreaker.
Bennett: I don't know if I would want to be blinded and have Tommy splashing anything on me... just saying.
Stephanie yanks Gabi up and slings her into the steel steps, dislocating them from the edge of the ring. The ref is at the 6 count as Stephanie grabs Gabi and forces her back into the ring at the 8 count. Gabi is getting to her feet when Stephanie moves in on her. Gabi and locks up with Stephanie and immediately starts to get over powered. Gabi shoves back with all her might and Stephanie still backs her towards a corner. Out of no where Gabi drops and monkey flips Stephanie into the corner. Gabi rolls up to her feet still blinking but appears to have most of her vision back. Stephanie starts to use the ropes to get back to her feet as Gabi charges in with a knee. Gabi yanks Stephanie out of the corner and whips her into the table but Steph reverses it. Gabi crashes into the table and flops over it and Stephanie stalks in on her. Gabi starts to get to her feet as Stephanie grabs a handful of hair and yanks Gabi up and fires off two knees to her ribs. Steph yanks Gabi into a snap suplex and bridges for the pin. The ref slides in for the count.

Kick out by Gabi. Stephanie hops up and grabs the table and sets it up. She pulls Gabi up and rolls her onto the table and heads for the ladder. Stephanie starts to climb the ladder as Gabi holds her ribs. As Stephanie reaches the top she notices Tommy sneaking up towards the ladder and he backs away with his hands up in the air.
Bennett: She's going to attack Tommy?
Aiello: She'll need sani-wipes after that.
Carter: She looks to be sizing it up.
Bennett: Wait! Look out!
Gabi has slid off the side of the table while Stephanie is distracted and runs over and dropkicks the ladder. Stephanie tries to balance it up by the ladder and Steph come crashing down in the ring. Gabi picks up a chair and slams it down on Stephanie's knee as she tries to get out from under the ladder. Gabi tosses the chair and grabs the ladder and pulls it up and slams it down on top Stephanie. Gabi dashes to the ropes and comes off, hops up on the table and jumps off landing with both feet on the ladder, crushing Stephanie under it. Gabi grabs the ladder and sets it up and starts to climb it. Stephanie rolls to her stomach and starts to stand. She sees Gabi near the top and starts up after her on the opposite side of the ladder.
Gabi kicks at Stephanie as she climbs but doesn't hit her. Steph grabs Gabi's leg and tries to yank her off the ladder but Gabi hangs on. Gabi kicks Stephanie's grip off her leg and swings out and drops on Stephanie's shoulders, pulling her into a reverse Frankensteiner. Both Stephanie and Gabi crash through the table, with Stephanie taking the majority of the fall. Gabi rolls over and covers Stephanie for the pin in the debris of the table.

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, GABRIELLE VISCONTY!!
Carter: Holy shit! Gabrielle has pulled off the win here tonight.
Bennett: What a battle between these two ladies. I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of these two against each other in the ring.
Aiello: Tommy Love's interference cost Stephanie the match.
Carter: No doubt about that.
Bennett: But if he hadn't been out here the match would have ended differently for sure after Stephanie's Blasian Mist!
Carter: No matter how you looks at it, this was a great match between these two ladies.
Aiello: Agreed.
Bennett: Hey Joe, what is that stuff hanging off the edge of your headset?
Aiello: What?! Omuhgawd!!!
Joe tosses his headset off in a panic as Bennett bursts into laughter. Even Max has a hard time not chuckling.
The camera cuts backstage where we find Xavier Reid with his cousin Tlatoani Volando
Tlatoani: ‘Xavier Reid, son of Chico Volando’ CHECK, ‘half brother of EWC Prime superstar El Pablo’ CHECK, ‘former Combat Pro Intercontinental Champion, former EWA Gladiator Champion, and former UKWF British Heavyweight Champion’ CHECK, ‘He's a one time FSW Champion, and the current X-Division Champion’ CHECK...I’m glad Chuck has in his life that can read off your bio to him…
Reid: Listen I’m just glad he spelled REID right, that’s a major win for him…
The two cousins share a laugh
Tlatoani: I guess Chuck doesn’t buy into the idea that if you are champion when a company closes that you are still that champion…
Reid: I could care less, you know the last time I looked at my bio on our webpage?
Tlatoani: When you hit the submit button?
Reid: Exactly, I don’t go there to get the Cliff notes on my opponent, I go back and listen to what they’ve said, what they’ve done HERE in the EWC but I get it, it’s a rookie move that many make when they first get here so it doesn’t surprise me Chuck had someone read it off to him, if he thinks he’ll get to know me by reading my bio all the power to him, the only championship I’m focused on right now is the one over my shoulder…
Xavier slaps the face of the X-Division Championship
Reid: The one Chuck clearly wants so to focus on past championships sitting on my mantle seems like a waste of time for him but whatever…
Tlatoani: Spoken like a ‘paper champion’ haha…
Reid: I’d be more offended if that wasn’t coming from a ‘paper contender’...I get it, he was trying to get under my skin and maybe that shtick works against the 9-5, wrestle on the weekend, all they have in life with their ego opponents he’s faced in the past but he’s had ONE match here in the EWC and I’ve been in the ring with the best this company has to offer, from Dominic to Ace, to Scorpio to Cyrus...I’ve faced the best in the X-Division and took this championship from a very game champion in Stephanie Matsuda at WrestleFest while he was walking around with a Hello My Name Is Chuck Gacy name tag on his chest because nobody knew who the fuck he was but I get it, someone like him is pissed that someone like me is standing here with this championship, he thinks because he’s lived a HARDER life than me he deserves this, funny….normally people who grew up with nothing like Chuck know that nothing in life is handed to you, you have to earn every little damn thing in life...maybe it’s not me that’s the paper anything...maybe Chuck Gacy is a ‘paper tough guy’...a creation, an illusion…maybe he’s playing a part to hide the real Chuck Gacy, I mean he is a crook right, they really aren’t the most honest people in the world...
Tlatoani: Well we get to find out who and what Chuck is tonight…
Reid: Yes we will, this is a big match for Chuckie, win and he gets a shot at this championship he so desperately wants...lose and well he falls back down the ladder and will be forced to watch as other pass him by and stake their claim to the X-Division Championship, his back is really up against the wall here tonight so I expect him to come out swinging, to try and do his worse, I get it...I’m a marked man, if this was prison there would be a line of people trying to get at me, to make their name off me and I know that’s just what Chuck is hoping to do tonight but the thing is...I like being X-Division Champion, I busted my ass to get this championship back so I’m not about to just ‘hand it on over’ because Chuck wants it...that shows me I’m dealing with someone as smart as this bucket…
Xavier kicks the yellow bucket full of water next to him
Reid: I look at the guy and I’m not paralyzed in fear, he’s going to swing at me but you know what...I’m going to swing back, I don’t care who he is or what he’s been through, he doesn’t know me, he doesn’t know Xavier Reid...all he knows about me was what his buddy read to him, a list of the things I’ve done before I got to the EWC, my bio with what I wanted people to know...his dumb ass thinks he has me figured out because he knows who my father is or who my brother is...congrats Chuck, you don’t know shit...and tonight I’m going to educate you on what it means to be the X-Division Champion here in the EWC and teach you what happens when you step up to the man holding the gold…
Tlatoani: Well best of luck cousin and try not to get murdered out there…
Reid: Yeah, I’ll to make sure he doesn’t pull his shank out his prison wallet…
With that final statement from the champion, we move to a commercial break.
The first thing that's flashed across the screen is a news report that came a few days after BRAWL's season premier.
LONG BEACH - Days after a chaotic season opener for Monday Night Brawl, Jim Connors has issued an official statement regarding NSFW from his makeshift office at the Twisters & Coffee in Shoreline Village.
"Mike McGuire and Bishop Church orchestrated an assault on Silver Ann Gold, a PRIME Superstar who was invited as a guest in a non-compete capacity, at MNB 550. Because they chose to put someone's well-being at risk, I have decided to ban the duo from the Staples Center on February 17 when we host Brawl."
Connors went on to address Chuck Gacy's involvement in the attack:
"Many would see his non-title match against Xavier Reid as an opportunity to prove himself in the X-Division, but I must make something clear. You cannot simply dock the pay of a man like Chuck Gacy, or assume that suspending him will suffice as punishment for wrongdoing. Some lessons need to be taught the hard way."
Connors would not comment on the status of Silver Ann Gold, and no further update has been given at this time.
The report fades into one of the names mentioned - Chuck Gacy - in front of a brick wall with a "PRE-RECORDED" disclaimer watermarked in one of the bottom corners of the shot.
Gacy: You see that shit? I'm willin' to bet he thinks suspending Bishop and Mike's gonna teach them a lesson and throwin' me to Xavier's gonna fix what I did to that bitch's face. Nah, man. That ain't gonna change shit. Wanna teach me a lesson the hard way?
Chuck shakes his head in disapproval.
Gacy: Fuck you, Jim. You can't teach me shit, but I can teach you what happens when you stick your fuckin' nose where it don't belong. Keep a real close eye on your boy Xavier Reid 'cause I got somethin' other than violent tendencies in mind for him, you, and this fuckin' show tonight. Then everyone's gonna know what kinda punk bitch pushovers you and your X-Division "champ"...
That comes complete with air quotes.
Gacy: ...really are. This is my show, my house, and my rules, Jim. Oh, and Xavier? Tell that pops of yours that he's gonna have to bury a son after I leave you for dead in that ring. I do what I want and there ain't a god damn thing you can do about it.
With that, Chuck walks out of the shot as it fades out before we go to...
THE ROAD TO GOLD IS PAVED IN VIOLENCE!
[SINGLES MATCH - NON-TITLE, X-DIVISION RULES]
Chuck Gacy
VS Xavier Reid
VS Xavier Reid
We return to ringside where our non-title X-Division match is about to begin.
Aiello: Folks, you should brace yourselves for the match coming up next; it's sure to be a bloodbath as Chuck Gacy and Xavier Reed do battle.
Bennett: I can't wait to see how Chuck Gacy fares against the Champion in this non-title match. If he's able to beat him tonight, who's to say he won't take Xavier's title away from him the next time they meet?
Carter: A win for Gacy would definitely raise some concerns in the Reid camp.
Without any hesitation, the anthem of Chuck Gacy unloads into the arena and the man himself shares a lack holding along with the song and immediately comes tearing through the curtain to the sound of the crowd showing their appreciation for the bloodbath that was most likely to ensue. There's no stopping on the stage and instead, he starts down the ramp shouts back inaudibly at the crowd as he slaps some of the outstretched hands along the ramp and barricade in his hasty pace down to the ring.
Stroup: The following match is a non-title X-Division match! Joining us first, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 234 pounds ... The Brooklyn Bull ...CHUCK GACY!
Chuck continues to circle the ring and eventually comes to a stop long enough to hop up onto the barricade to get the fans going even more. Once he's satisfied with the response, he jumps back down, slides himself under the bottom rope, and gets to his corner with a snarl on his face and a back and forth pacing spurned by eager anticipation.
Stroup: And his opponent, from New York City, New York, weighing in at 220 pounds ... he is the X-Division Champion ... XAVIER REED!
The jumbo screen flickers and the picture of a sky appears on the eve of a storm, the clouds are dark and rolling across the sky quickly and with aggression. The lights inside the arena start to dim, the rumbling of a storm can be heard over the speakers as lighting appears in the clouds. The cracking of lighting grows louder and louder until two strikes hit the stage. First from the right and then from the left as ‘Papercut’ starts to play out… Smoke rises up from where the lightning hit stage as Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage, the X-Division Championship around his waist, his arms crossed in a X over his chest as he stands at the top of the stage and looks out towards the ring. The fans have a mix reaction as he starts to walk towards the ring, shadow boxing as he does eyes locked on the ring. Xavier bounces up and down while looking at the ground and then looks up and smirks as he heads towards the steps and slams his foot down on each step as he marches up the steps and unhooked the X-Division Championship and turns and faced the crowd and then jumps into the ring and walks to the center of the ring and lays the belt down and motions for his opponent to 'step up to the line'.
DING DING DING
With the match under way, both men are quick to arm themselves. Reid grabs a chair and Gacy's got a Kendo stick. Xavier raises the chair up and makes to bring it down on top of Gacy's head, but Gacy uses the Kendo stick to deflect the blow. He kicks Reid in the stomach and follows up with a solid whack to Reid's side. Xavier Reed drops the chair and spears Gacy to the ground, raining down lefts and rights in anger. Gacy is able to push Reid off him and he grabs up the Kendo stick again. Reid's able to dodge a swing, but Gacy takes another swing and manages to connect with the side of Reid's head. Reid goes down and Chuck starts whacking him repeatedly wherever he can reach. Reid saves himself by rolling out of the ring. Welts are already starting to appear all over his bare skin.
Aiello: So far, it looks like Chuck Gacy's in control of this match-up.
Bennett: Nobody's bleeding yet though, so let's hope that changes soon.
Carter: Nothing screams X-Division like blood and bruises, right?
Reid runs halfway around the ring and slides in behind Gacy, the latter having grabbed a bag of thumb tacks and emptied its contents all over the ring, thus he didn't see Reid coming up behind him. Reid is successful in hitting an X-Steiner on Chuck Gacy, who lands on the thumb tacks he just spread out. Little droplets of blood and shiny pieces cascade over his bare skin like painful glitter.
Aiello: There's the blood you were looking for, Bennett.
Bennett: More! We want more!
Carter: I have the feeling we're about to see a WHOLE LOT more.
Reid is relentless in dealing blows to Gacy as the latter struggles to get back to his feet. Reid's got a chair now and he's using it to drive the tacks further into Chuck's back. After bending the hell out of the chair, Reid throws it away and goes to grab the Kendo stick Gacy was using on him earlier. Gacy rolls out and starts tossing more weapons into the ring. As he gets back into the ring and charges Reid, Xavier ducks beneath his outstretched arm and rebounds off the ropes. Gacy bounces off the other side and looks to clothesline Reid, but Reid manages to hit Gacy with an X-Ploder! He continues on the offense as Gacy gets back to his feet, only to go back down again when Xavier lands a Springboard Superman Punch! Gacy goes down, more tacks finding rent on his person. Xavier grabs him by the arm and drags him over to the turnbuckle. Reid positions his opponent on the top turnbuckle and, punching Gacy over and over again, gets Chuck set up for the X-Odus, which he hits perfectly!
Aiello: Oh, my! Reid's got Gacy in a pickle. He's building momentum and it looks like he's got things turned around now.
Bennett: These matches always go back and forth. The winner will be the one who bleeds out last.
Carter: Let's hope nobody actually bleeds out, all right? Both men are talented professionals with bright careers ahead of them... though their life expectancies are shortening every second this match keeps going.
Xavier Reed hooks a leg for a near three fall. When Gacy kicks out, Xavier starts looking for more weapons he can use against him. Just as Reid finds one he likes, he turns and gets met with a dropkick from Gacy. Gacy, utilizing a flurry of punches to push Reid back, switches his tactic and uses a Scoop Slam to put his opponent down. Gacy roars in elation as he eggs Xavier on. Xavier gets to his feet, but gets knocked back down with a big boot from Chuck. Gacy kicks Reid a couple times, more to humiliate him than do any actual damage. Reid shoves off his attacker and attempts to maneuver his way to safety, but Chuck's on top of him again after a Lou Thesz Press.
Aiello: Gacy's back in control and he's pounding the hell out of Reid.
Bennett: Must be that Reid pissed in his Cheerios or something. He's acting like he HATES him!
Carter: This was to be expected. Gacy is a crazy, bloodthirsty man. But we shouldn't rule Xavier out just yet. He IS the Champion after all.
Both men are exhausted at this point, but find the strength to keep going as they exchanges strikes once more. Eventually, the champ is overpowered by Gacy's punches before the newcomer slides out of the ring, reaching under it to pull out a door, sans the doorknob! He slides it into the ring, following close by with a couple chairs he finds under the ring before setting those up in the center of the ring, laying the door across them like a makeshift table. He turns his attention back to the champ, picking Reid up with a look of ill intent in his eyes as he sets Reid up for the package piledriver he calls Comatose...but wait! Reid is breaking out, whipping his legs over Gacy's shoulders and adjusting his position--X'ED OUT! REID'S GOT THAT TRIANGLE CHOKE LOCKED IN ON GACY! Gacy's trying to fight out of it, lifting Reid just enough to send him THROUGH THE DOOR! REID'S STILL GOT IT LOCKED IN! Gacy's fading as the ref checks on him...Gacy's passed out! This one's over as the ref calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission XAVIER REID!
The ref forces Reid to break the hold after the bell rings, Reid finally getting to his feet so the ref can raise his arm in victory as he stands over the fallen Gacy.
Aiello: What an absolute war we saw here, folks! Chuck Gacy gave it everything he had, but the X-Division Champ was just too much for him!
Bennett: One hell of an effort by Gacy, but I think that means he's headed straight to the back of the line in the division!
Carter: What a win for Reid, proving his dominance tonight when all is said and done.
Aiello: The ref is checking on Gacy again to make sure he's okay, and...wait a minute...
We're still ringside following the hellacious Reid v. Gacy encounter. Chuck's working to get to his feet, finally choosing instead to roll out on the side facing the timekeeper's table.
Bennett: Where's that crazy sumbitch going?
Carter: I don't know, but it hasn't ended well when Gacy's involved.
Aiello: He's got the timekeeper!
Chuck does, indeed, have the timekeeper by the shirt. He tosses them aside, leans in, and snatches Xavier Reid's X-Division Championship right off of the table! He makes quick work of sliding into the ring with the strap in hand, then lies in wait for Xavier to clear enough of the cobwebs to turn around.
Bennett: Ol' Xavier's fixing to get up close and personal with his championship!
Aiello: Don't turn around!
Carter: Despite the bell, it doesn't seem like this match has ended for Chuck Gacy!
Xavier turns around, only to get walloped with the center plate of the X-Division Championship! The hit comes with so much force that both Xavier and Chuck end up on the mat, though the latter's able to get on top of his fallen opponent and get a few more shots in with the belt. After a good few hits, Chuck grinds the plate into Xavier's face while he shouts inaudibly.
Bennett: Guess Chuck's out here putting action to NSFW's words to him earlier tonight.
Aiello: He gets the point Chuck!
Carter: Someone needs to come out here and get him before we have another incident like we did with Silver Ann Gold.
Seemingly done, Chuck gets to his feet and stands over Xavier. He spits on the downed champion and raises the belt before making his exit - the belt still in his grasp as he hits the floor and starts up the ramp.
Carter: Is he taking the X-Division Championship with him!?
Aiello: First, he clocks Xavier with his belt and now he's leaving with it! That's just downright disgraceful.
Bennett: Well, possession is nine tenths of the law.
Once on the stage, Chuck turns to face the EWC Nation one last time with Xavier's championship in one hand and a special salute with the other.
Gacy: Fuck you pussy! This is my shit now! Come and get it!
He shouts loud enough that the camera's mic is able to pick it up. He lowers the strap and lets it drag behind him as he disappears behind the curtain.
Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to remind you that bout was a non-title contest and Chuck Gacy is in no way the rightful, current X-Division Champion.
Carter: I don't think that matters to him, Joe.
Bennett: It matters to Xavier Reid, though. That look on his face says everything.
The cameras cut to Xavier, who managed to get himself to a corner and get upright while Chuck made his exit. A ferocious anger with a pained edge sits on his face as we move to a commercial break.
Back from commercial, we find ourselves in the parking lot as an irate Jim Connors can be seen running from the exit of the Staples Center, frantically searching for someone. It isn't long before we find out who that is...
Connors: Chuck Gacy, where the HELL are you!?
Connors looks around, noticing a car speeding past him toward the exit. He tries his best to chase it down, but to no avail as it leaves the lot. Connors does his best to catch his breath before pulling out his cell phone, looking to make a call as we cut to...

[TRIPLE THREAT MATCH - WINNER BECOMES #1 CONTENDER TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP]
Clay Byrd
VS Bosa
VS Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
Aiello: Now we’re about to see some triple threat action for tonight’s main event! Number one contender’s match for Cyrus Black’s International Championship!
Bennett: As far as I’m concerned, there’s only one man who deserves this shot! And he’s about to prove that tonight!
Carter: Uh-huh, I wonder who that could be. Honestly, I’m pulling for a Titaness comeback, but we can’t countout Bosa!
Stroup: The following match is a Number One Contender’s Triple Threat Match for the International Championship! Introducing first from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds, she is one of the members of the Shieldmaidens MC. She is Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton!
As the actual lyrics of 'You're Going Down' by Sick Puppies begin playing, the Titaness saunters down the ramp. Walking beside her is her husband, Joseph "Orion" Hunter. A sense of determination and resolve can always be found in her eyes. Despite wearing a more stern and serious expression, she's not one to ignore any fans or supporters. Every now and again, she gives a wave or slight smirk.
When she finally gets in front of the ropes, the Titaness slips through the middle and top ropes and prepares for the match.
Guitar and harmonica begin to blare through the arena, the start of Gunning For You sends a silence across the crowd as Nick Nolan's lyrics echo through the arena. The state of Texas appears on the screen and slowly fades into a highlight video.
Stroup: Next! From Plainview, Texas! Weighing in at 295 lbs! “BIG TEX” CLAY BYRD!
My Gun is loaded it's getting time
Two shots of whiskey i'm takin' what's mine
Ain't what you're sayin it's what you do
Your time has come boy i'm Gunnin for You
When hell is rainin down you'll see my face won't hear a sound
You'll feel that bullet burnin through
Take your last breath boy
I'm Gunnin for You
Clayton Byrd steps from the back, clad in his father’s leather vest and with red tights. His right arm is raised in the air, his fist clenched at it's apex. Clay begins his slow walk down the ramp. His eyes are fixed on the ring, and he trudges on. Not paying any notice to any of the fans in attendance.
There's desperation deep in your eyes
No turnin back now no compromise
Cause only one of us walks out that door
The other bleedin out on the floor
Clay walks up the steps, and climbs into the ring.
The arena goes silent as Jessica Stroup stands at center ring. Around her, camera's flash and fans speak amongst themselves as she smiles. Raising the microphone, her earrings sparkle under the lights as she begins to speak....
Stroup: Hailing from San Jose, CA! He is the Samoan Warrior... BOSA!!
"Indestructible" by Disturbed begins to play!
Once at ringside, Bosa then raises both fists slowly as a fireworks display erupts behind him, sending the fans into a frenzy!
With the fans still cheering and chanting his name, Bosa lowers his fists and ascends the metal stairs. Stepping through the ropes, he circles the ring once as he nods his head in respect to the fans! The fans continue to cheer him on as Bosa comes to a stop in the middle of the ring.
DING DING DING
Aiello: WHAT THE HELL!? CLAY BYRD JUST KNOCKED BOSA OUT OF THE RING WITH A SURPRISE WEST TEXAS LARIAT!
Bennett: Aw yeah! Strap in your seatbelts ladies and gentlemen, because we’re about to go on a trip down the West Texas highway! Route 285 baby!
Carter: What the hell is that supposed to mean!?
Bennett: Heh, you’re about to find out son. And so is that pretty lass in the ring.
After witnessing what just happened, The Titaness attacks Byrd from behind with clubbing blows and whips him into the nearest corner. She starts laying into him with several kicks to the gut, but Byrd fights through and reverses their positions. Sam ducks under a wild clothesline and lays into Byrd with elbow and knee strikes. Clay stumbles into another corner to shake things off, but Hamilton is on him like a moth to a flame, laying in several more shots. Byrd pushes her down, but like a cat, Samantha rolls back to her feet. Before Byrd could leave the corner, she connects with a flying elbow strike, keeping him in place. The crowd is on their feet in support of The Shieldmaiden. A furious Clay knocks her back and whips her with the opposing corner. Before she can recover, Byrd hits a corner clothesline, and immediately starts choking her with the ropes. After a warning from the ref and a near five-count, Byrd lets go of the hold. Several moments later, she hammer throws Sam to the opposite corner and catches her with a body slam upon the rebound.
Aiello: The power of Clay Byrd! He just treated Sam like a yoyo and put her down when he was finished! Meanwhile, Bosa is still on the outside! That lariat hit him like a truck! That nasty spill on the apron along the way down didn’t do him any favors!
Bennett: It’s like I said! Blondie is on a trip she’s never gonna forget! Clay came into this knowing exactly what he was going to do: take out the more dangerous man and do the dirty work by working on the smaller opponent!
Carter: Sam is powerful in her own right! You’ve seen with her own eyes what she’s capable of!
Bennett: That may be, but this fella is doing whatever it takes to earn that title shot!
Clay walks around Hamilton, screaming at her to get to her feet. She looks a bit shaken up, but her recovery is cut short by Byrd pulling her up by the hair. Refusing to give up, Sam starts laying in several shots to the body. Sam hits an elbow to the gut, followed by a forearm to the face. She hits the ropes and goes for a big boot, but Clay catches the foot and pulls her in for a Running Powerslam! Sensing the end, Clay creates some distance and winds up his arm for the finish. Just as he charges at Samantha, Bosa slides into the ring and slams into Clay with his own lariat - THE CHIN CHECK! Samantha rolls out of the way in time and slides to the outside for a tactical retreat. An enraged Bosa is laying into Clay with several stomps to the chest! He picks up Clay and hits several shots to the face, forcing him into the corner. Bosa whips him into the opposing corner, but Byrd reverses and sends Bosa crashing into the turnbuckle. He charges forward, but Bosa stops his momentum with a kick to the face. He tries for his finishing spear, but before he could get a running start, Clay counters with a spear of his own!
Aiello: He didn’t get all of that, but Clay took the big man down with his own move!
Bennett: Byrd’s been resilient this whole match! He just needs to keep up the effort!
Carter: Meanwhile Hamilton is playing it smart by recovering on the outside.
As Bosa uses the ropes to pull himself back up, Clay is gearing up for another lariat. Samantha grabs on to his foot, forcing him to kick her in the face. This gives Bosa the opening he needs as he knocks Clay to the outside with a clothesline! Bosa takes the time to catch his breath and recover before joining his opponents outside. When he does, Clay is there to meet him with several forearm shots. Bosa blocks one and counters by throwing Clay headfirst into the steel steps! As Bosa makes his way back into the ring, Sam adds insult to extra injury with a superkick to the seated Byrd, slamming his head back into the steps!
Crowd: OOOOOHHHH!!!!!
Bennett: Christ! Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!
Carter: I told you she was about that life!
Samantha slides back into the ring to meet with Bosa, who nods in approval. There’s a look of mutual respect in each other’s eyes as they meet in the center of the ring. Several moments later, they explode into a fury of traded shots, each one hitting the other with a forearm or chop. Sam cranks it up a notch and lays into him with several elbows. Bosa returns the favor with several shots to the face. He whips Sam to the ropes and knocks her down with a shoulder block on the rebound. When Bosa tries to pick her up, Hamilton counters with a Kimura lock! Bosa counters this by forcing her shoulders to the mat with his own! Sam still has the hold locked!
One…
Two…
Sam is forced to disengage while lifting her shoulder from the mat. When she gets to her feet, Bosa kicks her in the gut and whips her to the ropes once more. Sam ducks under the clothesline and lands a spear of her own! The crowd goes wild as Sam goes for a pin. Bosa uses his weight and raw strength to reverse the pin!
One…
Two…
Hamilton kicks out just in time!
Aiello: We’re seeing a crafty side to Bret Bosa tonight! He’s taking The Shieldmaiden very seriously!
Bennett: He’s been taking spears from these two all night! He needs to stop playing nice and give Blondie a ride on the Samoan Pain Train!
Bosa attempts to pick up Sam, but she counters with a facebreaker. She pulls the Samoan’s leg from underneath him and latches on for an anklelock! She drops to the mat and pulls back on the leg. Bosa strains to fight through the pain as he digs deep to make his way across the mat. Sam does everything in her power to make it to the ropes, but Sam transitions back to a standing position and fights to drag Bosa to the center of the ring. Clay slides back into the ring and knocks her down to break the hold! Amidst the boos of the crowd, Clay grabs Sam by the hair and tosses her over the ropes! The Titaness takes a bad fall to the outside, shoulder-first. Clay tries to capitalize on the damage done, but Bosa’s already on his feet and drives Clay down to the mat with a DDT! He desperately makes the cover!

Th-
Byrd kicks out in time!
Bosa rolls over to the corner and waits on one knee for Clay to get to his feet. Once he finds the right moment he charges full speed ahead for the S.P-
Aiello: Superkick! Superkick from out of nowhere by the Titaness! I didn’t even see her get back into the ring!
Bennett: Well I don’t think she’s fully recovered because she’s not aware of what’s waiting behind her...
Carter: German Suplex! What a release from Clay Byrd! He goes for the pin!
One…
Two…
Th-
Bosa breaks up the pin at the last second!
As Clay slowly gets to his feet, Bosa struggles to keep up, due to the damage done to his ankle by Samantha. For her, Hamilton rolls away to give herself time to recover. Clay and Bosa are trading shots back and forth, but Byrd gets the upper hand and whips his opponent to the ropes. He bends over for a back body drop, but Bosa hangs onto the ropes and counters with a kick to the forehead. He sneaks behind Clay and his a bridging German Suplex!
One…
Two…
Byrd manages to kick out!
Once both men are on their feet, Clay goes for broke with West Texas Lariat, but Bosa pulls back the ropes and Clay goes tumbling to the outside! As soon as Bosa’s back on his feet, Sam pulls him down for a schoolgirl roll up!
Crowd: ONE!
Crowd: TWO!
Crowd: OOH!!
Bosa kicks out!
Both competitors race to their feet, but Sam is standing first and starts kicking at Bosa’s face who’s on all fours. She forces him to a corner where he stays on the defensive. As Samantha unleashes a fury of elbows and knee strikes the crowd is in a match of their own going back and forth between “LET’S GO SAM!” and “BRETT BO-SA!” chants. Sam whips Bosa to the opposite corner, but he reverses and goes for a clothesline. Sam counters with a big boot and creates some distance for her to recover. When Bosa’s back up, she attempts a standing Shiranui, but Bosa pushes her into the ropes. Sam ducks under the big boot, rebounds, and surprises her opponent with a jumping spike DDT!
Aiello: Sam’s got both legs hooked!
Crowd: One!
Crowd: Two!
Carter: Once again Bosa kicks out! This man refuses to lose an opportunity to face Cyrus Black for the International Championship!
Bennett: Someone needs to use their strongest move to take someone out soon! You can tell all three competitors have little gas in the tank!
Samantha has her eye on Bosa, but Clay climbs up to the apron. Samantha goes for a superkick right under the chin- but he blocks it. Clay pushes her back by the foot, forcing her to spin around..THE S.P.T.!!! Clay climbs into the ring before The Samoan could do anything else and nearly takes his head off with a West Texas Lariat!! Clay hooks both legs for the cover!
One!
Two!
Three!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Your winner and the new number one contender to the International Championship...CLAY BYRD!
Aiello: He did it! He found his opening and now he’s punched his ticket for a championship opportunity!
Bennett: He took everything and gave everything in this match! This was definitely Clay’s day, We just went for a ride on Route 285 tonight!
Carter: Now...can he bring that fight to Cyrus Black?
The camera focuses in on Clay Byrd, determined to take what he believes is his as the show comes to a close.
