[SINGLES MATCH]
Antoni Malietoa
VS Jake Lumas
VS Jake Lumas
Back from commercial, we return to ringside where commentary is standing by.
Aiello: Well folks, our opening match sees a visit by Jake Lumas as he takes on Antoni Malietoa!
Bennett: These two have had some harsh words for each other, and we're about to see those words turn into actions!
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, from Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing in at 220 pounds ... JAKE LUMAS!
The steady bass and hi-hat intro to 'Born to Raise Hell' by Motorhead powers up at 140 beats per minute. The lead guitar crunches and slides as Jake Lumas steps out from behind the curtain.
He looks on the crowd and raises his trusty steel chair in the air to let them all know he brought it.
He allows the music to pour into his veins. Nods his head to the beat. He summons energy from the crowd into his hands and feet but stands perfectly still. The song itself is like a lightning rod that fills him with explosive energy. He relaxes his body and lowers his head.
As the song heads into the chorus, he lifts his head and smiles the peaceful grin of a lunatic on a full moon and bumps his chair against his forehead to wake his body up.
A determined jog to the ring turns into a sprint, and chair in hand he slides into the ring, ready to take his pound of flesh.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Apia, Samoa, weighing in at 254 pounds ... ANTONI MALIETOA!
Fog engulfs the entrance ramp, highlighted by green lights as "Be Somebody" by Fort Minor begins to play throughout the arena. From the smoke emerges Antoni Malietoa with his eyes wide and arms out to his sides.
As the fog clears, Antoni takes a step forward as he psychs him self up with a yell. Antoni makes his way to the ring, pulls himself up from the floor by the top rope and then steps over the top rope and into the ring as he prepares to do battle.
DING DING DING
The audience is waiting the anticipation and as the bell rings Jake Lumas rushes towards his opponent, Antoni Malietoa, as he captures turning with Lumas and dropping him with a scope powerslam. The crowd lets out a surprised reaction not expecting that so early on. Antoni pulls Lumas to his feet and motions for his trademark, Malosi. Lumas hooks his foot around Antoni’s calf blocking the move. He wraps his arms around Antoni’s waist and lifts him with a bridging suplex and holds it with his own shoulders off the canvas pinning him.

KICKOUT! Malietoa got his shoulder up in the last possible moment saving defeat. Both competitors come up to their knees looking each other in the eye. Lumas nails him with a punch but it’s returned. They each take a shot back and forth exchanging blows with each other.
Aiello: The action heating up real quick in this contest as these two go at it!
Bennett: This could turn ugly at the the drop of a hat, Joe!
Lumas and Malietoa each get to their feet as they exchange blows. Punches become European uppercuts, then kicks, and Lumas drops Antoni with a sidewalk slam. He then comes up to his feet with his arms out to his sides as he mocks his opponents.
Antoni reaches up and puts his hand on Jake’s knee and then pulls on his tights attempting to pull himself up. Lumas swats his hand away and then kicks him in the face with a sarcastic gleem in his eye and a sadistic look on his face. In the moment Malietoa rolls away from Lumas graps under the ropes onto the floor.
Jake Lumas doesn’t waste any time as he comes flying over the ropes and landing a suicide dive. He comes down awkwardly on his hip and comes to his feet with a limp, still cocky.
He turns back towards the ring but then second guesses his actions. In that moment Malietoa comes up striking him in the midsection and then a knee lift knocking Lumas backwards into the apron. Antoni follows up with a knee to the midsection and grabs the back of Lumas head slaming him face down onto the apron.
Malietoa rolls into the ring and back out breaking the referee’s count. He again grabs Lumas and slams his head into the ring post and then lifts him up body slamming him onto the ground.
Aiello: Look at the impact from that body slam, Steve! Lumas could be hurt here.
Bennett: I'm not so sure about that, Joe, I heard the man can chew on glass...a little slammy on the whammy might be a walk in the park.
Antoni Malietoa rolls into the ring and awaits for the referee to count out his opponent. To his surprise Lumas rolls back into the ring at the count of nine and stands with his fist lenched. Antoni ties up with him and the two men vie for the upper hand.
Malietoa pushes Lumas into the ropes and then whips him across the ring. Lumas then ducks under a clothesline and comes off the ropes attempting a closeline of his own. Antoni comes off the ropes and catches Lumas attempting a back body drop.
The Samoan Dynasty!!!
Antoni Malietoa goes for the pin.

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall ANTONI MALIETOA!!
Malietoa comes to his feet raising his arms into the air. He pumps his fist a few times in celebration as the referee raises his other arm. Lumas rolls out of the ring with a look of frustration on his face.
Aiello: These two really laid it in thick tonight, with the Great Warrior just coming out on top.
Bennett: Yeah, this was one hell of a battle, and Jake is definitely a force to be reckoned with wherever he goes.
Aiello: And the action only gets hotter from here, as up next we have Candy taking on King Flip! Don't go away, folks!

COMING SOON TO MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL:
TYLER BRADFORD
(THIS AD PAID FOR BY BRADFORD ENTERPRISES)
We move to a commercial break.
The scene opens to a rather patchwork looking set. A lush purple suede armchair with inlaid gold thread sits in front of the 2016 BRAWL banner draped across the back wall. There also stands a luscious bamboo palm slate in a tall pot as an accent next to the chair. Flip enters with a limp over to the seat. He leans back into it with a deep exhale. Wincing, Flipper shifts in the chair before looking into the viewfinder.
King Flip: Good evening, Extreme Wrestling. You'll have to forgive me for not coming at you a hundred percent. You may even have to lean in a couple times to hear what I'm saying because I just might get a little emotional about it. Human, if you will.
His hands are shaking.
King Flip: See, I met Georgia James is 2004 and she was almost immediately the Ren to my Stimpy. The two times we held tag gold are but blips in all the amazing matches we had, all the memories we made in front of jam-packed arenas all over the damn planet. We'd put the tag team down after a while, said we'd get back to it, but...
He leans forward a bit, gritting through the pain.
King Flip: What I'll really always remember that wonderful woman for, what I'll be grateful to have witnessed in person, is her determination. A strong, loyal advocate to wrestler's rights and an excellent role model to little daughters everywhere. Hell of a woman.
Eyes welling up, he stops to clear them with a sigh. His hands still visibly shaking.
King Flip: If you guys are waiting for me to turn this into some thing about Callie or Cain or Candy, let me stop you right the fuck here. See, the unfortunate part is that I know -- I KNOW -- that my friend would want me to continue business as usual. Keep calling the fans peons... keep finding ways to get into my opponent's heads... keep going...
Chanel walks in from stage left with a small open box in her arms. She leans it over for me to pick into, pulling out and revealing a left elbow pad. He takes a moment to remove the one he's wearing, revealing the 'KF' etched in the back before placing it into the box. Chanel walks off as Flip turns the new pad over. On it in the same gold stitch is instead 'GJ'. He begins to put in on.
King Flip: "So, that's what I'm going to do. But if you happen upon me and I seem a little lost... it's just a FlipJam. Usually works itself out.
Finally having it in place, he stands with an empty half-smile.
King Flip: Georgia James. Thank you, for everything. Until the next book, hey?
Flip walks away as the scene fades, taking us back to ringside.
A THRONE THAT'S SWEET!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Candy
VS King Flip
VS King Flip
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by.
Aiello: Up next we have a match that is some time in the making, as these two had a previous encounter at Paramount...but now, Candy has come to the red brand, and Flip is chomping at the bit to make a statement!
Stroup: The following match is a one-on-one contest scheduled for one fall!
Just as 'I Want Candy' by Aaron Carter starts to play throughout the arena, fans immediately start to cheer as Candy emerges from the back all smiles as she does a little dance at the top of the stage.
Stroup: Making her way to the ring from Candyland, please welcome... 'The Sweet Treat'... CAAAAAANDYYYYYY!!
After her name is announced, Candy begins skipping her way down the aisle as she tags the outstretched hands along the way. She circles half the ring before climbing up on the apron. As she takes a seat on it, Candy blows a kiss into the crowd. She then lays back and rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. Once she's on her feet again, Candy taunts the crowd until her music subsides. 'Machinegun' begins to play as the man in the hooded vest, head low, emerges from the curtain with manager Chanel in tow. He gets to the edge of the rampway when he lifts his hood to reveal an empty half smile.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Chanel, from the land of money and fame... Kiiiing Flip!
The lyrics chime in as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. He removes his vest, hanging it off to Chanel before slowly walking up the steps. His stare at Candy is cold, but there's obviously something off about the King. His music fades.
DING DING DING
Flip removes his Georgia James shirt and tosses it to a fan before circling the ring with Candy. He charges straight into a trifecta of Candy arm drags, getting up quickly time after time. Mrs. Rayder goes for a dropkick but he shoves it with his dodge. Flip rushes the ropes for momentum enough to slam Candy face first into the mat with a bulldog. The King keeps his grip around her head for the backside headlock. They dance a little, Candy able to force the two up and into the ropes. But King Flip drops to a knee with the backside headlock still applied. Again, she's able to get the two of them to a vertical base. This time she begins to plant right forearms into her opponent's rib cage before backing up into the ropes again. Flip goes for another bulldog, but Candy is able to force her head out of his grip. The King skids on his ass, slams his hands on the mat in embarrassment, and stands up. Candy again backing up to the ropes as she shakes the cobwebs.
Aiello: King Flip showing his experience, taking it slow, and keeping Candy on the ground. A sound strategy against the former Undisputed Champion. She has shown on more than many occasions just how quick she can turn a match around. Can King Flip stay on top here?
Bennett: Well they're about to collide, Aiello, so we're about to find out!
The combatants trade hurancanranas, Flip rolling up and matching the move after Candy executes the maneuver. Both are stumbling to their feet and are less than an inch away from dropkicking one another in the face. Flip to one knee, Candy just the same, both heave as the crowd shows their appreciation for the match thus far. Each gets to their feet in tandem with the other and the two return to circling the ring. They grapple in the center, Candy blasting Flip in the face with a right forearm just as he's about to wrench her left arm back. She rushes away, springboarding off the ropes as the King is shaking the effects of the strike. Candy goes for the tornado DDT but at the last second Flip is able to stop it. The spin slows just as it's about to end with Flip's head on the ground. Candy looks around in a fright and shakes her head. Flip powers Candy into a northern lights suplex pix, grabbing one of her legs as the two competitors collide onto the canvas.
1 . .
2 . .
NO! Candy kicks out with authority.
Aiello: The back and forth continue here with neither getting the upper hand until Flip was able to power that tornado DDT attempt into a northern lights suplex. Candy kicking out just after two.
Bennett: Flip knows it'll take more than a surprise suplex, but did you see her face before it happened? She didn't see it coming. If he can keep it up, King Flip might have Candy's number here.
Flip furiously slaps the canvas again, arguing with the referee about the art of counting to three for a moment as he stalks a shaken Candy. He springboards off the ropes to plant a spinning heel kick to the face. But no! Candy rolls out of the way and has an idea of her own with the ropes. Handspring elbow into King Flip just as he's getting back to a vertical base. This sends him careening and back tracking into one of the corners after slamming to the canvas. Candy comes running with a spear into the corner. Flip looks like he's about to fold over as Candy clutches his head and taunts to the crowd. Sliced bread #2. But no! Candy rushes up the turnbuckles with his head in her grasp. Flip shoves her off last second and it's Candy skidding on her ass this time. Only this time it' on the outside of the ring.
Aiello: Candy turning the match around, ducking the kick and connecting with a picture perfect handspring elbow. Only for King Flip to have scouted the Candy Crusher, after eating a spear in the corner, and sends her flying to the thinly-padded concrete.
Bennett: Is anyone going to check on her!? You can't leave her out there with Chanel. She's not nice!
Candy is reeling outside the ring, one hand on her lower back and another on her neck. Referee Josh Daniels get to a six count before Flip exits the ring. Josh tries to relent but is forced to restart the count. The referee has gotten to two when Candy, who was being helped to her feet by her opponent, catches Flip out of nowhere with a sit-out jawbreaker.
Aiello: Candy catches the King with that Cavity Removal! There's a big change of pace here now, folks!
The King flops back to the ring, slamming against the ring apron and falling to his ass with both hands on his jaw. Candy slides into the ring at four. Chanel finds herself on the ring apron yelling at the referee and severely slowing down his count. Candy tries to stay out of it but not when it becomes clear how slow the count has become. The referee should've BEEN at ten but he's only just calling six. Candy smacks the taste out of Chanel's mouth, sending her flying into the guardrail. But just as it has so many times before, someone hitting his valet has caused Flip to shoot up and glare at his opponent. He still barely gets back into the ring at nine.
Aiello: King Flip and everybody else caught by surprise by the Candy Cavity Removal, but I said it at the top of the match and I'll say it again. This woman can turn a match around on a dime.
Bennett: And what did I tell YOU about Chanel? Stuck her nose in Candy's business just like I knew she would. Got her teeth re-aligned and sent on her way, but the distraction did what it was supposed to do. Flip's back in the ring and now he's pissed.
Candy goes for the spear but Flip reverses into a Fujiwara armbar, cranking away as Candy tries to get her hand or foot to the bottom rope quickly. Flip whips a quick right forearm to the back of her head and rolls on top of her just as she's close to the rope. Flip yanks her body backward and out of reach of the ropes with the camel clutch.
Aiello: King Flip with the KNEEL. Will Candy tap out to Flip's camel clutch submission?
She is less than an inch from her fingers just tickling the bottom rope. Flip blasts her in the chest with three stiff forearms, then reapplies the submission. Candy tries to push herself to all fours but Flip is quick jump up and ass blast her back down. He shakes his head and she has nowhere to go. Again, she tries to get her way to the ropes. She's so close. She gets to all fours again. As Flip jumps to plant her down, she leaps. Arm drag! Flip doesn't see it coming. Acid Drop! Pin!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... CANDY!
The ref raises Candy's arm in victory as we see an irate Flip coming to before cutting to commentary.
Aiello: What a heck of a match, folks! These two really putting it all on the line tonight, with Candy just getting the upper hand on Flip with that Sugar Free Candy!
Bennett: Flip made a mistake in the end that cost him, but he definitely proved a point tonight even in losing!
Aiello: Indeed, this was a close one that makes me wonder where we go from here. Up next however, we have non-title action as Xavier Reid takes on KU, don't go away!
Camera cuts to ...
We cut backstage where Bob Murray is standing by.
Murray: Ladies and Gentlemen, what a night of action we have had tonight, and there is so much more to come! I am joined now by the Great Warrior of the EWC, Antoni Malietoa.
The camera zooms out as The Great Warrior walks into the frame, a towel around his neck to help clean the sweat from his hard fought battle earlier tonight.
Murray: Antoni, we saw you a Jake Lumas go to war earlier tonight, and you came out the victor, but now you have to know that once you get through Hardcore Revolution, you and Lumas will be Teaming together at Paramount #9. What is going through your mind with all of this?
Malietoa: Bob, I gotta tell you that Paramount #9 isn't even in my head yet. I battled with Lumas tonight, and tonight I was the winner. It could have easily been the other way though, and I want to make it clear that Jake Lumas is an absolute warrior and I will be happy to share the field of battle with him again in a few weeks. In the meantime though, I have Hardcore Revolution in front of me and I want to make one thing clear: I don't know what kind of match I will be in, or who I will be facing, but I do know that I will take on anyone. Bring me whoever it is, and prepare for The Great Warrior to do what he does best: Win.
Murray: The is awfully confident of you Antoni. You sure you want to poke the bear like that?
Antoni: I don't fear bears, Bob. I brought honor to my bloodline tonight when I was victorious against Jake Lumas, and I will continue to bring honor to my name every time I step in that ring. So bring on anyone, and I will continue to show you all why Only the Undisputed Champion has been able to best me this season. I am the best I have ever been right now and I have no intentions of changing that anytime soon.
Murray: Strong words from a strong warrior. Thank you Antoni, congrats on the win tonight and good luck.
Antoni nods as he turns and walks out of the scene as we move to a commercial break.
The camera opens to the interior of the arena as spotlights move through the crowd. “Oh La La” by Run the Jewels begin to play. The Undisputed Championship #1 Contender Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda walks out on stage with her manager and wife Monica Vaughan trailing behind. Soaking in the mixed reception from the crowd, Stephanie calmly makes her way down the ramp. She grabs a mic and climbs into the ring, taking a moment to pause before addressing the fans. She sat on the middle rope to assist her wife as Monica entered the ring. The Queen of Fighters walked to the center wearing a smug expression as she let the fans express their feelings.
Matsuda: Love me...hate me. Whatever you need to do, get it out of your system, Portland.
Stephanie pauses as she watches the crowd of 20,000 display their individual feelings towards her. She takes a moment to stare down at the mat as she reminisces about days gone by.
Matsuda: Moda Center, we have some history. Those of you who know, you know. Everyone else? Wikipedia is your friend. Now, the only kind of foreplay I like is with my wife so let’s get straight to the point: The EWC Undisputed Championship. Everyone these days thinks they got next. You had Candy come out here a few weeks ago trying to make a play for Ace King. You had Gabi Vee who took advantage of my hard work and tried to take my opportunity away from me. Now you have Bosa marching out here last episode claiming he wants a shot at The King. Nah, fam. It’s not going down like that. There’s only ONE person Ace King is facing at Hardcore Revolution and it’s yours truly. Of course Timothy Kahrs has already stated this, but for some reason people are assuming that it’s going to be Ace they’ll face once they get their world title shot…
Stephanie scoffs as she looks at Monica, who shares her sentiment.
Matsuda: What makes you think Ace is going to be the one who walks out of Hardcore Revolution Undisputed Champion? Mans nearly gave up not one but TWO golden tickets for his belt. The only reason why Gabi and I had to fight for ours is because we’re on the same brand. If one of us was Rampage, Scars and Stripes is just around the corner. Hell, the entire summer is going to be a busy one for the face of EWC. If anything...it’s motivating. It’s invigorating! The Road to Wrestlefest can make or break the best of them, and very few champions make it past Night of Champions! A run like that, beating the best of EWC would make a legend out of anyone! But alas, here we are at the beginning of the summer, just two weeks before we get to see if yours truly can make the impossible happen twice in a row. Spoiler alert: I will.
Stephanie turns to face the nearest camera.
Matsuda: Everyone can get excited about tonight’s main event, but at the end of the day...Ace is fighting me. Whatever happens tonight will have an effect on what happens at Hardcore Revolution. As someone who fought Bosa, let me say Ace it’s going to take everything to put The Beast down. And regardless if you win or lose, you will not be walking into Weapon X a hundred percent. Nearly every match we had was an X-Division Match. I made short work of you like you’ve done with me, sweets. Now imagine what I can do when you’re not at your best. If I can beat you fresh, then what chance do you have after you go toe-to-toe with The Beast of Brawl!? Hell, Bosa didn’t leave our match unscatched either! In fact, Nightcall finished what I started! So Ace, as someone who dropped the ball twice in a row...will you be ready? Because I’m about to come for The King a second time and just like in Sioux Falls...I won’t miss.
Stephanie makes a finger gesture at the camera and lets a shot off.
Matsuda: Bang. Know it. Understand it. Believe it. Play my f’n music.
Matsuda flips the mic from her fingers as “Oh La La” comes on. The fans continue offering The Queen of Fighters a mixed reaction as Stephanie and Monica exit the ring.
Aiello: Some choice words from Matsuda.
Bennett: I’m completely on board with Matsuda at this point! I’d love nothing more than to watch her make mince meat out of that chump Ace King! She’s proven that she deserves to be a main event player and all it took was some gusto! All she needed to do was stop caring about what others think of her! Now all that’s left is to beat Ace again and the throne is hers! Long live The Queen of Fighters!
The camera follows Matsuda as she walks up the ramp, holding her wife’s hand with a smirk on her face. With that we go back to the ring for our next match...
A HARD-HITTING AFFAIR AWAITS!
[SINGLES MATCH (NON-TITLE)]
KU
VS Xavier Reid
VS Xavier Reid
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by.
Aiello: Alright folks, up next is a hard-hitting clash as KU once again visits the red brand, this time taking on the International Champion in non-title action!
Bennett: After what we saw of him recently I think KU's gonna be a tough son o' bitch to overcome, even by the champ!
Stroup: The following non-title match is scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, weighing in at 230 pounds ... KU!
'Fuck It' plays as KU makes his way to the stage, accompanied by a familiar face to some in Frankie Romono as the duo make their way toward the ring with a no-nonsense attitude. KU enters the ring, getting ready for his match as Frankie stays at ringside.
Stroup: And his opponent, from New York City, weighing in at 230 pounds, the International Champion ... XAVIER REID!
The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out. Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his new black trunks, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape with the EWC International Championship around his waist and following him out is ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy follows from behind and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’.
Tommy points to the ring as Xavier unhooks the International Championship and hands it to Tommy who raises it into the air as Xavier walks towards the ring shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the ring, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy holds up the International Championship in the officials face and reminds him who the champion is face but the official ignors him and walks away as Tommy laughs. Xavier jumps down and squats down in the corner waiting for the bell.
DING DING DING
The bell rings and both men immediately trade lefts and rights, each looking for the advantage over the other in the early going as Reid manages to catch KU off guard with a hard kick to the midsection. This gives an opening that Reid can easily exploit, which the champion does by sending KU into the corner as we hear Frankie at ringside yelling for the younger superstar to keep his hands up. KU obliges with the demand, dampening the blows that rain down on him by Reid just enough to stop the champ in his tracks, turning the tables with a flurry of offense that Romono looks quite pleased to see.
However, this comeback is brought to an end on the final stiff kick by KU, which is dodged by Reid at the last second. The champ starts really laying in the offense here, turning KU around to hit some hard chops much to the chagrin of Frankie. Reid smirks at this before taking KU down hard with a neckbreaker before taunting Romono at ringside. The two exchange some harsh words before Reid is sent over the top rope with a dropkick by a now-recovered KU!
Aiello: Frankie's presence here being a real thorn in the side of the champion!
Bennett: I don't blame Reid for being distracted, given the history these two have had!
Tommy runs over to check on Reid but is cut off by Frankie, who threatens to take the Memphis Mouthpiece out right then and there as KU exits the ring to continue the attack with some more chops. He gives a cold stare at Tommy and then at the steel steps, eventually making his intentions known as he grabs the champ by the head. KU pulls Reid toward the steps, but things get turned around when Reid reverses, sending KU into the steps, a loud clang ringing from the impact against his left knee. The ref begins the count, but Reid quickly rolls in and back out before the number three is even uttered just so he can extend his time in attacking the knee of KU with some rough stomps. He picks the younger superstar up, rolling him into the ring and following close behind.
Taunting KU as he goes, Reid is right back on the attack with some more stomps to the knee as KU tries to get back to his feet. Wobbly as he is, KU is able to start trading strikes with the champ before Reid goes for a kick to the head...but KU ducks under, hitting a knee to the head of Reid instead! Reid is down, but KU is struggling to capitalize as he drops to the canvas, clutching his knee in pain.
The injury makes for a change in pace as KU slowly gets to his feet, waiting for Reid to do the same so he can bring this match to an end. Reid finally manages to get to his feet, and KU grabs him by the arm looking for the Ultimatum...but Reid counters it! Pele Kick by the champ! KU is down, but if he's out we never find out as Reid picks him up by the arms before stomping away at KU! Reid's giving a big F-U to KU here!
The champ looks more than pleased with himself as he goes for the cover, taunting Frankie as the ref makes the count!
1!
2!
NO! KU KICKS OUT!
Aiello: The champ thought he put KU away, but the PRIME Superstar still showing some fighting spirit!
Bennett: This has definitely kicked up a notch, Joe!
Reid can't believe it as he starts going back to work on KU's knee, but the champ is pushed away giving KU some much-needed room to breathe as he gets back to his feet. Reid hoists KU onto his shoulders looking for the Xplode, but KU manages to slip out and turn the champ around, lifting him up and connecting with a powerbomb...into a double knee backbreaker! This gets Frankie all excited, knowing KU just hit the champ with the Romonobomb...but KU is struggling even more, clutching his knee once again as he gets back to his feet.
He lifts Reid up once more, this time connecting with the powerbomb stungun that hangs the champ up on the top rope before KU rolls him out of the ring as Tommy steps up on the apron. Before he can do much else, however, Frankie cuts him off before lifting the Memphis Mouthpiece up for a Romonocrash on the apron as KU gets to his feet while the ref begins his count. With both Xavier and Tommy out cold, the ref is able to get to the ten count before calling for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via countout... KU!
KU is still somewhat wobbly on his feet as the ref raises his arm in victory before we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a match we just saw, folks! Both men really giving it their all here, but KU just manages to pick up a win over the champion tonight!
Bennett: You gotta believe Frankie's pleased to see Xavier get taken down a notch tonight!
Aiello: Folks, we're just moments away from...wait a minute...
We see Tommy and Xavier finally back to their feet, opting to head back up the ramp with an angry look on the face of the champion and his manager when suddenly ...
Frankie slides into the ring, microphone in his hand.
Frankie: Well? How the fuck was that? KU just knocked off the International Champion right here in front of yous. This man, he's the real fucken deal and there's no doubt about that. His only blemish this year? Losing to Saidie Sharpe after she stabbed him in the back, literally. And even then he was able to come out here and defeat a beast like Xavier Reid. Only the 13th man to do that on BRAWL. How's that for effort?
The crowd gives a few scattered applauses.
Frankie: I've seen the rumors spreading on the ragsheets and I want to confirm them. The Romono Family is coming to Monday Night BRAWL. Yous can keep yous Love Clubs, yous Candy Crew. The Romono Family are here and we are going to be the top stable in this fucken company and that's that.
Frankie lets the crowd settle down as they boo him, especially after the Candy Crew dig.
Frankie: Boo all yous what, but this is a new era for the EWC. And this man, KU, he is the leader. There's no one in the fucken back that scares us, but I know we fucken scare them. They see KU in their nightmares, they wake up in the middle of the night in a deep sweat and they are shook to their fucken core at what KU can do. And yous haven't even seen TayTay or Ashur fucken stuff up yet.
Frankie lets the boos settle down.
Frankie: So come Bosa, come Nightcall, come King Flip, come fucken Hazel Overton. Come Xtreme Ravagers, come Southern Express, come Young Lions... We don't care, we'll knock all yous guys to yous asses and spit on your moms while they boo in the front row. Yous can't stop the beat of the Romono Family. No one can.
Frankie drops the mic and celebrates with KU as we cut to a commercial break.
Back from commercial we go to ringside, where commentary is standing by.
Aiello: Well folks, as we mentioned earlier we are on the final stop to Hardcore Revolution! During the break we were given info from the office of Timothy Kahrs in regards to the BRAWL-exclusive special event live on Pay-Per-View, which will include King Flip taking on Callie Clark in the first-ever Hard Times Match from Alcatraz, along with a grudge match between Davey Dunham and Jack Severn and THREE different titles on the line!
Bennett: That's right Joe, in addition to the International and Undisputed Championships we WILL see the FX Broadcast Championship on the line, as whoever wins tonight will defend in the first-ever Golden Gauntlet match against...wait a minute...
Suddenly we hear a commotion as we see Nightcall and Hazel Overton slugging it out on the stage! Officials run in to pull them apart, but the chaos finds its way to the ring!
THE GOLDEN BITCH GOES FOR GOLD!
[SINGLES MATCH]
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Hazel Overton
VS Nightcall
VS Nightcall
It looks as though we are skipping the usual introductions as Hazel and Overton continue to slug it out, with the ref eventually settling things down enough just to call for the bell to kick this match off officially!
DING DING DING
The opening bell is just a formality as the two go at it, Nightcall's unique offense quickly being countered by some tough grit from the challenger as Hazel starts to get the upperhand with some hard kicks to the champ's midsection. With that, Hazel is able to hit a DDT on the champ before going for a quick cover, but the champ immediately kicks out!
Aiello: Hazel looking to take advantage of the beating they both went through prior to this match, but Nightcall cannot be put down so quickly!
Hazel refuses to believe it, going right back to work on the champ as both competitors get back to their feet. Hazel once again gets an advantage over the champ as she begins wearing him down with some hard strikes, before hitting a dropkick that sends Nightcall to the corner! She charges at the champ, who just manages to dodge at the last second! This sends Hazel crashing into the corner with a thud, which gives Nightcall an opening as he takes the challenger down with a neckbreaker! Is this enough? Cover by the champ!
1!
2!
Kick out by Hazel! She's back to her feet and the two trade blows once again...HAZEL'S GOT THE CHAMP BY HIS HAIR! BACKBREAKER! Cover by the challenger once more!
1!
2!
...NO! NIGHTCALL KICKS OUT!
Aiello: What a close one for the challenger here! Hazel nearly getting the win and the title off that backbreaker.
Bennett: The champ isn't down just yet though, Joe!
Hazel is beside herself now, angry as she tries to figure out how to keep the champ down. She goes back to the well once more, really cranking in some hard offense befitting of her moniker as the Bitch looks for the Spice Rack...but Nightcall counters out! PINK MIST! This riles Hazel up, but Nightcall catches her with the buzzsaw kick! CALIFORNIA BUZZED! Nightcall with the cover!
1!

3!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall AND STILL FX BROADCAST CHAMPION... NIGHTCALL!
The ref raises Nightcall's arm in victory as an angry Hazel rolls out of the ring before we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a close bout here, folks! Hazel showing she was ready to step up tonight, but Nightcall just manages to come out on top!
Bennett: What a great, great effort here by the Bitch as she proves that she can very well hang with the best of them here on the red brand.
Aiello: Folks, we are just moments away from our main event as Bosa takes on Ace King in non-title action! Don't go away!
Camera cuts to ...
We cut backstage, where Bob Murray is standing by with Assistant GM Timothy Kahrs.
Murray: Hello folks, I'm here with our assistant General Manager of BRAWL who has a few words to say about recent developments tonight. Tim?
Kahrs: Yes, thank you Bob. As Joe Aiello announced before the FX Broadcast Championship match, we have a stacked card ahead of us for Hardcore Revolution. Whether it's Ace King defending the Undisputed Championship against Stephanie Matsuda, or Bosa getting a shot at Xavier Reid and the International Championship, there's a lot to look forward to. More details will be revealed later tonight on the EWC website, but I also want to confirm something that was brought up a while ago. KU has indeed signed with Monday Night BRAWL, and if he's looking for competition he's going to get it...but in the right way. See, I've got Damage, Inc. returning to the red brand, and I need someone to team with Antoni Malietoa to take on this pair...so congrats KU, the spot is yours!
The crowd pops as Bob speaks up.
Murray: You heard it here first, folks! Be sure to join us LIVE in San Francisco or order on Pay-Per-View as BRAWL presents Hardcore Revolution!
With that, we move to a commercial break.
THE BEAST MAKES A GAMBLE!
[SINGLES MATCH (NON-TITLE)]
Bosa
VS Ace King
[SINGLES MATCH (NON-TITLE)]
Bosa
VS Ace King
Back from commercial, the arena goes silent as Jessica Stroup enters the center of the ring, microphone in hand, earrings sparkling beneath multiple camera flashes and the overhead lights.
Aiello: Here we go, folks! It's our main event of the evening, and it's a few weeks in the making as the former FX Broadcast Champion takes on the Undisputed Champion in non-title action!
Bennett: Bosa has talked up a big game and show some actions to match, but can Beastmode activate in time to topple the Gambler?
Stroup: The following match is a Singles Match, and is Non-Title. Joining us first, from MARIN, CA weighing in at 265 pounds ... the Beast of Brawl, BOSA!
"Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains begins to play! The crowd completely erupts as Bosa emerges from the backstage area! Stopping on the stage area, he glares at the ring a moment, adjusting his gloves and pads. He looks determined, his eyes remaining on the ring as the camera pans around him.
As his theme song continues on, Bosa walks down the ramp and towards the ring, reaching out to slap the hands of the fans along the way. Once at ringside, Bosa then raises both fists slowly as a fireworks display erupts behind him, sending the fans into a frenzy!
With the fans still cheering and chanting his name, Bosa lowers his fists and ascends the metal stairs. Stepping through the ropes, he circles the ring once as he nods his head in respect to the fans! The fans continue to cheer him on as Bosa comes to a stop in the middle of the ring.
Stroup: And his opponent, from LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, weighing in at 235 pounds ... The EWC Undisputed Champion ... The Gambler, ACE KING!
"THE ACE OF SPADES! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!"
The signature Motorhead anthem rips through the Moda Center in Portland, and the crowd starts cheering. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp. Once the guitars hit, a plume of fire goes up on either side of the ramp as Ace King rises to the stage from a platform, looking out at the crowd and nodding in appreciation.
A thin smile crosses Ace's face as his weathered eyes look out at the crowd, pausing for a few more seconds on the platform before casually making his way down the ramp toward the ring, his arms outstretched for fans on either side of the barricade. He stops a few steps short of the ring, then dives in under the bottom rope as red (or gold, if he's a champion in a title match) pyro explodes off each turnbuckle. Ace spins up to one knee, then takes another appreciative look out at the crowd before getting back to his feet and turning his attention to Bosa, his game face firmly on.
Aiello: The two men giving each other a cold stare here as the bell rings to start this match!
DING DING DING
Bosa immediately goes for the tie up but Ace King ducks out of the way. Ace smiles for a half a second before getting serious and diving in for a single leg takedown. Bosa plants his feet and resists. Ace plants his shoulder into Bosa's knee and places a hand behind his ankle to assist with the leverage and nearly brings the big man down.
But Bosa hurls a punch at Ace but Ace sees it coming and transitions into a single leg roll up. The ref goes for the count,
1...
2...
Bosa kicks out with brute force and rolls backward to a knee, keeping Ace in his sight. Ace circles him, his stance low, he motions for Bosa to bring it.
Bosa stalks in, lowering his stance, fingertips searching, looking for the tie up. Ace deflects his initial attempts, feints with his left hand distracting Bosa's eyes, and hurls a kick into Bosa's gut, grabs Bosa's left arm, and twists it into a painful standing armbar. Bosa bends over at the waist, hand outstretched looking for the rope, shaking his head No and making gutteral sounds as the Ref asks him if he wants to quit.
Bosa turns his body, moving toward the turnbuckles, and Ace is forced to follow to maintain control, his body moving toward the ropes. Bosa takes a step, and then another, pulling as Ace is resisting, and with one might rotation of his shoulder, Bosa whips his trapped arm towards the turnbuckle and sends Ace King spilling through the middle ropes and landing hard onto the outside mats, also breaking the hold.
Ace comes up to his knees, head in his hands, while Bosa restores the feeling in his arm.
Bosa steps over the top rope, drops down to the outside mats, grabs Ace by the back of his tights and hurls him hard into the steel steps, so hard they go flying against the guardrail and the harsh metal on metal contact shocks the crowd.
Ace does his best to create some distance, crawling for a bit before rising to a knee, and looking over his shoulder to see Bosa right on his tail. His eyes go wide in fear as Bosa grabs him and irish whips him toward the guardrail.
But Ace grabs Bosa's wrist at the last minute, and reverses it, a big smile on his face as he sends Bosa into the guardrail. Bosa's giant body dislodges the guardrail nearly a foot from its original position and the audience is forced to clear out or be smashed.
Ace advances, and sprints toward Bosa who is layed out against the guardrail, taking a deep breath. He raises his arm for a heavy clothesline and...
A big boot from Bosa rises seemingly from nowhere and catches Ace right along the jawline, flatlining his bullrush and taking his legs right out from under him. The audience gasps as Bosa gets to his feet holding his lower back, shaking his arm loose, and gritting his teeth.
The ref, meanwhile, continues his count.

5...
6...
Bosa finds Ace King, eyes still closed, lying on his back, and takes a strong mount position.
Ace's eyes open just in time as Bosa rains heavy, fast punches that make Ace's eyes roll around in his head like a pair of loaded dice.
7...
8...
Bosa picks up Ace and tosses him back into the ring. He climbs up onto the apron and into the ring in two giant swings of his legs, and takes a look at the audience and raises an arm in the air, the crowd roaring.
Bosa takes Ace by the neck, picks him up, and sends him into the ropes. Ace runs into Bosa on jelly legs, and Bosa lifts him up into the air, spins him, and Spinebusters him! Ace bounces off the mat like a rubber ball and Bosa goes for the pin.
1...
2....
Kickout by Ace!
Aiello: Bosa nearly getting one over on the champ, who manages to kick out!
Bennett: Bosa's showing a lot of heart here, but he's gonna have to really dig in deep against the Gambler!
Bosa picks Ace up and whips him into the ropes again. He lifts his boot to catch The Gambler's chin, but NO! Ace ducks under, his legs getting back under him. Bosa goes for a back elbow, and Ace ducks under that as well, narrowly missing, and hits the ropes on the opposite side.
Bosa charges in to break up the rhythm. Ace feints, but instead sidesteps and drop toeholds the big man down onto his his nose. Ace scrambles on his belly up to Bosa's arm, pins it to the mat with his knee, lifts the other knee and drives it right above the elbow joint.

After three strikes, Ace releases the left arm and Bosa pulls it back into himself, protecting it best he can. Ace doesn't give him any time to rest, backing him into the corner, and laying in chops alternating with kicks, trying to damage that left arm.
Bosa hurls a right hand. Ace ducks, grabs the big man's right arm and places it over his shoulder, and belly to back suplexes Bosa backward to the center of the ring.
The pace is taking its coll on the stamina of both men and they are slower to get up. Ace first. Then Bosa.
Bosa has the reach advantage and kicks the advancing Ace in the gut, grabs him by the hair, and throws him into the turnbuckle. Bosa lifts his big right boot and plants it squarely beneath Ace King's chin, right on his throat, and begins to bear down.
The ref is on him in a second.
First a warning. Then the count.
1...
2...
3...
Bosa releases him and Ace falls to the mat, clutching his throat. Bosa rotates his elbows and shoulders around, restoring circulation, while Ace coughs for oxygen on his back.
Bosa advances, stepping through Ace's legs, and reaching for his hair.
Ace grins, winking at Bosa, and lifts his legs into a triangle choke around Bosa's outstretched arm and neck. But Bosa gets a hand in between...and shakes his head NO with a vicious snarl on his face.
Bosa leans back, gets his balance, and lifts Ace King high into the air with one arm, before slamming him down hard on the mat.
Bosa goes for the pin.
1...
2....
Kickout by Ace! The crowd roars and Bosa whips the hair out of his eyes, and settles in to do more damage.
Bosa grabs Ace and gets him to his feet. He grabs Ace but Ace fights free and launches a desperation right hand that rocks Bosa a step backward. Ace advances forward and launches another a little faster, and another a little faster.
He grabs Bosa, loops one arm around his neck, and pauses. The crowd knows what time it is.
FOUR OF A KIND!
Ace takes a gigantic breath, takes good hold of the big man and suplexes him once, and struggles to keep it together due to the big man's size. The crowd counts 1!
He lifts the two of them up, gets a grip, and snaps the big man over. 2!
3!
4! Bosa comes crashing down for the fourth suplex and Ace finally releases him, both men landing on their backs. Ace catching his breath. Bosa's eyes fluttering.
Ace goes for the pin.

2...
3-NO! Kickout by Bosa at the last minute.
Aiello: Close one by the champ!
Bennett: Looks like Bosa's digging in, alright!
Ace is to his feet first and sees Bosa still down, and eyes the turnbuckle. The crowd pops. Ace heads through the ropes and climbs the turnbuckle, all the way to the top. Once at the top, he turns his body around, preparing for the Moonsault. He takes one last look over his shoulder before he dives through the air backwards.
Bosa moves at the last minute. Ace lands hard on his stomach and folds up. Bosa gets to the ropes and uses them to help himself up.
Ace does the same on the opposite side of the ring.
Both men see each other, and advance.
Ace launches a kick at Bosa's gut but Bosa swats it away, and with one meaty hand grabs Ace around his throat, and holds him in place, Ace up on his tiptoes.
Ace looks at the crowd. They know what time it is.
Ace is lifted high into the air, and held, before being dropped onto his back in a vicious Stalling Chokeslam!
Bosa goes for the cover.
1...
2....
3-NO! Ace King barely kicks out.
Aiello: This match really going back and forth throughout, with Bosa once again coming close to a win over Ace King.
Bennett: You can imagine what's going through his head now, Joe...Bosa wants nothing more than to make a statement here tonight!
Bosa gets Ace to his feet. Picks him up over his head, and drops him with a Gorilla Press Slam!
Ace rolls around, sucking air, and gets to the ropes, pulling himself up. Bosa advances and Ace kicks out in desperation, hitting Bosa in his knee, staggering him. Bosa advances again, shutter stepping, and launches a kick at Ace.
Ace catches it!
Ace rises up as the crowd reaches a fever pitch, Bosa hopping on one leg, and Ace holding his other. Ace turns and drops his weight, whipping his body and forcing Bosa's leg to come along with him in a modified Single Leg Takedown that puts Bosa on his back.
Ace keeps hold of the aggravated knee, traps the foot below his armpit, and drops down into a Single Leg Crab!
Bosa screams!
Unable to reach the ropes, he begins to rock side to side, anything he can do to destroy Ace's balance. He reaches backward while Ace leans into the hold, creating excruciating pain, and Bosa manages to grab Ace's ankle and pull it away, breaking the hold.
Ace creates some distance and waits for Bosa to rise, and slowly Bosa does, albeit on a shaky arm and a shaky leg.
At the other end of the ring, Ace is down on his haunches, loading up for a flying forearm.
Bosa doesn't see him.
Bosa gets to his feet and Ace takes off running.
But Bosa turns...
CHIN CHECK!
Ace gets flatlined mid flight and lands on his back. Bosa goes for the pin.
1...
2...
Kickout by Ace, and Bosa pounds the mat in frustration.
Aiello: What does Bosa have to do to keep the champ down, Steve?
Bennett: That's the million dollar question, Joe!
Bosa looks to the crowd and makes a cut throat gesture. He grabs Ace King and picks him up, and locks him in a front facelock.
Ace rears back and attempts to pick the big man up, reaching for the ropes. Bosa bears down with the hold.
With big hammering blows, Bosa hammers on Ace's back, softening up the man's spine until his legs noticeably go weak.
Bosa stands up tall, and wrenches backward for a Blackout DDT, but Ace slips loose, and pushes Bosa backward, landing hard on the mat and bouncing his skull.
Ace seizes the opportunity, wraps his legs up and turns the big man over into a Standing Inverted Cloverleaf!
HOUSE OF CARDS!
Bosa screams, white hot terror in his eyes, face red, eyes nearly bulging out of his skull. He reaches for the turnbuckle but can't get to it.
The ref is in his face asking if he wants to give up.
No! No! No!
But involuntary reflex takes over, self preservation and the body telling the brain to do whatever it has to do to escape the situation, and Bosa taps.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission...the Undisputed Champion... ACE KING!
Ace King rises, and the ref takes his arm and raises it in victory. He climbs the turnbuckle, turns to the crowd, taps his chest, and points to his mind, giving them a wink and a smile, letting them know he had it all under control the whole time.
Aiello: What a back and forth affair here tonight, folks! Both men left it all in this ring, both men came THIS close to the win...but in the end, that House Of Cards was just too much for Bosa to overcome.
Bennett: Yessir, Bosa really took the champ to his limit tonight, but Ace King just managed to keep him down.
Aiello: You have to believe this is far from over, especially as both men have their sights set on Hardcore Revolution in just a couple weeks. Bosa faces Xavier Reid for the International Championship, and Ace King defends his Undisputed Championship against Stephanie Matsuda. But until then, I've been Joe Aiello along side Steve Bennett, and we will see you at Hardcore Revolution LIVE from San Francisco!
The final shot we get is of Bosa finally coming to, rising to his feet as he stares the champion down...before extending his hand. After a moment, the champion shakes hands with Bosa to the delight of the crowd as the show comes to a close.
