On the X-Tron, this episode of Paramount Wrestling begins with its opening video montage detailing many of the historic events that have taken place in the five-year history of Future Stars of Wrestling, setting the tone for the history of the Orange brand. From past champions like Jason Hunter, Dixie Dubois, Amis Shelton, Magdalena Lockheart, and Otaki all standing underneath an old FSW logo to the more current Future Stars Champions like Xavier Reid, Cletus Franklin, Robina Hood, Robbie Rayder, Stitches, Candy, and Wes Walker tearing down that mold, showing the Paramount Wrestling Logo...

As more pyro goes off the the Paramount Wrestling logo appears and flashes of the roster appear on the screen such as Mercenary, Emma Louise, Wes Walker, Robbie Rayder, Gabriel Ohio, Roozilla, Adriana Aquilla, Nevaeh, El Pablo, Jake Lumas, Killjoy Ito, Jason Rayne, James Keaton, Isabella, Jason Hunter, Bathsheba, and JFS. Then, the camera cuts to a series of shots of the Paramount Wrestling champions; David Miller with the CW Broadcast Championship, The Southern Express & Bunny Love with the Tag Team Championships, and then finally Marcu$ $t. John and the North American Championship.

The camera pans around the loud and out of control audience. As the fireworks continue to explode, the fans chant and cheer! Cameras pan around the arena to catch some of the signage that many fans have brought to InTrust Arena with them here tonight. The Paramount Wrestling fan-base is as adamant about having their voices heard now as ever:
"M$J: I'M SINGLE. HOLLA AT ME! I NEED A SUGAR DADDY!"
"Miller Vs JFS: MATCH OF THE YEAR!"
"THE EXPRESS KEEPS ON ROLLING! DAY 380!"
"TASTE THE RAINBOW MERCENARY!"

"PAR-A-MOUNT!!!"
"PARA-A-MOUNT!!!"
"PARA-A-MOUNT!!!"
"PAR-A-MOUNT!!!"
"PARA-A-MOUNT!!!"
"PARA-A-MOUNT!!!"
"PAR-A-MOUNT!!!"

The lights come back to full and the fans offer one last rousing cheer at the opening festivities. Tonight's announcers are on standby and ready for the show to begin.
Watson: WE ARE DEFINITELY IN KANSAS TONIGHT! Welcome everyone to another exciting night in professional WRESTLING! Welcome...To.. Paramount Wrestling! I am Tim Watson, joining me as always is Cid Sydney!
Sydney: It's great to be back with another episode of Paramount Wrestling! We have a stacked show for you tonight and another bit of history in the making as The Southern express look to continue their record breaking run as EWC Tag Team Champions when they take on The Wicked and the Divine, the team of James Keaton and Adriana Aquilla in our main event. That is part of the Super 16 tag team tournament that is sweeping across all 4 EWC brands.
Watson: We also have many other big match ups, including Jason Hunter versus Emma Louise, El Pablo taking on the Mercenary
Sydney: Another Super 16 tag team tournament match as The Texas Angels, now officially calling Paramount Wrestling their home, take on the team of Stitches X Nevaeh! We also have what will potentially be a match of the year canidate, and that is a lot coming from me... David Miller, who thus far has not been pinned or submitted in a Paramount Wrestling ring, will take on Jordan Sharpe in a non-title match.
Watson: And finally, we will see the saga of Jake Lumas and Isabella continue as they have a technical wrestling only match! This one will be one to watch for sure!
Sydney: We have all this and SO MUCH MORE! Before we take our mandated EWC TV break, though, I am being told that our North American champion has something to say!

Marcu$ stands in the middle of the ring with a shit eating grin on his face.
Marcu$ $t. John: So, I don’t get any you deserve it chants? Where’s my love for claiming my first title here in the EWC? I know everyone expects me to come out here and say, this is the beginning of a new era, that Paramount is under new leadership. Or there’s a new sheriff in town. You know, say something corny like that.
M$J looks at the title on his shoulder and smiles before soaking in the boos from the crowd.
Marcu$ $t. John: The truth is, I have all of you to thank. Everyone in this crowd, all the jackasses in the back, hell even Lisa Goldrush, Tim Watson, and Cid Sydney. I was doubted by every single person in this building. I was told that I was a fake Ted Dibiase, I didn’t belong in the ring, I would never make it in this business, and that I never earned a thing in my life. Look at me now. Thank you for all the malicious things that you all have said about me because without each of you, I wouldn’t be standing here on the 1-year anniversary of my FSW #101 debut as your North American Champion!
The crowd continues to express how they feel about Mr. $t. John as they serenade him in thunderous disapproval. A few cups and drinks get thrown into the ring as he seems to love the reaction that they are giving him.
Marcu$ $t. John: You see, that’s what I don’t understand about you guys. You continue to kiss the ass of those “superstars” in the back when I’m the one who has been the loyal soldier for Paramount this past year. I have carried this brand’s flag around literally with pride since I got here but Candy got the credit for leading the Capture the Flag match. Where is she now huh? Nowhere to be found. I was attacked by Darius and you guys cheered him like he was giving you money. Where is he now huh? Nowhere to be found. JFS probably cost us the damn match at Parabellum by screwing me and you guys will greet him tonight with a hero’s welcome. These people get passed around brands like cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving but I have remained steadfast. I have been nothing but disrespected from day 1 while helping move this brand forward into the present and future.
He pauses for a moment and walks out of the ring. He heads over to the announce table and gets on top of it. He stares down Watson and Sydney before raising the mic back to his mouth.
Marcu$ $t. John: I helped carry this company forward, showed up for every show, gave maximum effort regardless of opponent to no fanfare and no appreciation. I was once the one doing the hunting and now….. I’m still doing the hunting. You may think because I’m a champion that I’m the one being hunted but you couldn’t be more wrong. I see the wolves circling. Just talking about it, I get goosebumps on my arm and up my spine. Rayder, I see you. David Miller, I see you. Killjoy, I’ll see you real soon. El Pablo, my compadre, I see you. Lumas and Isabella, welcome to the hunt.
He lays the title down on the announce table as if he’s drawing a line in the sand.
Marcu$ $t. John: If I’m going to get to the top of the food chain, and I don’t just mean Paramount, there can be no mercy. The road to the top will be paved with casualties, and I’ll make damn sure that Marcu$ $t. John isn’t one of them. Happy 1 year anniversary to me!!!

M$J drops the mic as we cut to commercial...

We’re backstage as James Keaton and Adriana Aquilla, proving once again that ‘The Argument’ might have been a more fitting name than what they ended up going with. James pushes open the door to their shared locker room, a situation that has annoyed both parties.
James: How many times do I have to tell you it’s SUPER 16?
Adriana: Sweet 16 is better branding and you know it.
James: Better branding for a bloody birthday party, not whatever this is! S-U---
Adriana: --W-E-E-T! Sweet!
James: As if semantics weren’t enough… You had to get us a shared locker room? Get your own space, damn.
Adriana responds with a bit of shock, she thought James had been the one to organise this annoying locker room situation.
Adriana: It wasn’t me!
James: It wasn’t me either, I’ve seen enough of you in the last couple of weeks.
Adriana: Likewise.
James and Adriana pause for a moment, if it wasn’t them who arranged this cohabitation, then it must’ve been…
James and Adriana: Ruthann!
Both shake their heads as they’re interrupted by Lisa Goldrush and her impeccable timing.
Goldrush: I’m not saying that we could hear you on the other side of the arena, but we could hear you from the other side of this hallway.
James: Oh great, question time…
Adriana: We’re going over strategy…
James: ...Loudly.
Goldrush: I’ll take your word for it.
Adriana: I’m not about to say that me and James are going to get married any time soon, in fact, I don’t think I’d ever take this guy out on a first date!
James scoffs as he hears that.
Adriana: But here’s what I am going to say, we may not get along but for the purposes of winning the Tag Team Titles from The Southern Express, we can work together, provided we don’t implode before the night’s over! The Wicked and The Divine will shine on through the darkness……
James: I don’t know what nonsense you’re talking about but I’m getting down to business. Southern Express! You guys have been talking big about breaking records, but you’re no strangers to breaking things are you? No, you guys have been breaking hymens since the 80s...
Adriana buries her face in her hands after hearing that one.
James: ...and much like this reign you’ve got, the pair of you don’t want to slow down! If this were Paris, you’d be taking the ladies to see both Eiffel Towers. We all know exactly how much of a tag team you are in and out of the ring!
Adriana lifts her hands as if to say “Look, this ain’t on me.”
James: I know you guys are the absolute best until you need to dig deep and be the worst men in the sport. Recent events don’t change what you’re capable of. WE, as in both of us, are expecting that, we’re coming to see all of that from you. But right now, I’m warning Bunny Love because if she makes this a three-on-two scenario at ANY POINT, well…
James pauses.
James: If she gets involved, I’m gonna smash her up so hard that FacialAbuse.Com...
Adriana: What the fuck?
James: ...will sue for copyright infringement! You wanna prove that you guys are the perfect tag team? Prove it against me and her…
Adriana is still flabbergasted over James’s statements as she regains her composure. She urges Lisa Goldrush to take the attention away from James and back to her.
Adriana: Look, I don’t care what websites you visit on your time off but you're kinda right, for once...
Adriana mutters the last part under her breath before shaking her head.
Adriana: FacialAbuse.com?! I hope this isn’t nearly as bad as the time I watched that 2 Girls 1 Cup video.
James: I’ve never had an ice cream since...
Adriana mutters to herself before continuing.
Adriana: ...Whatever. If The Southern Express want to prove that they are the best to us, then they should prove it tonight by retaining the titles, but as good as they are in the ring, we’re younger, I’m faster, he’s stronger and together we will dethrone them!
James: All this crap about being a team? It only takes one of you to be beaten for both of you to lose.
Goldrush: I guess I’ll check in with you guys if I ever want a recommendation for shock sites.
Lisa Goldrush waves the cameraman off and proceeds to leave the locker room. The locker room door is left ajar just enough for us to see the supposed team carry on their discussion.
James: Look, about what I said there?
Adriana: This better be an apology for that Bunny Love statement. I’ve been more than fair to you so far but that’s crossing the line.
James: She can go jump in the sea for all I care. The other thing.
Adriana: How we’re not a better tag team? ¡Los tres ratones ciegos pudieron ver eso!* (*trans. Spanish: The three blind mice could see that!)
James: There might be a way we can use that to our advantage.
Adriana: Hmm?
Adriana’s interest is undeniably piqued.
James: Well, what if…
James shuts the door fully. The camera cuts away before it inadvertently spoils the strategy of James Keaton and Adriana Aquilla.

SINGLES MATCH
Jason Hunter
VS Emma Louise
We return to ringside where we return for the Jason Hunter vs Emma Louise match.
Watson: Welcome back to Wichita, folks! We are just moments away from our opening contest and it sure is not one to dissappoint! Emma Louise is set to take on Jason Hunter!
Sydney: Can they both lose? Seriously, wake me up when its over.
Starr: The following match is for one fall. Joining us first, from the UK, weighing in at 135 pounds ... EMMA LOUISE!
'Angel On My Shoulder' plays and Emma Louise steps through the curtain. She licks between the index and ring fingers on her right hand before she holds her arm out with the middle three fingers on her right hand pointing down and her thumb and pinkie pointing to the sides. Emma walks down the isle half walking half bobbing to the music. She walks up the steps and through the ropes before climbing to the middle turnbuckle and performing the same finger licking and arm out taunts.
Starr: And her opponent, from San Franscio, CA, weighing in at 170 pounds ... JASON HUNTER!
Daechwita comes over the speaker as Diana and Sara came out first as they stood on the stage with Jason with his back to the crowd and hood over his head. Sara slides the hood off his head as Diana walks ahead of them. Sara and Jason play to the fans a bit dancing to the music while Diana walked down the ramp. Diana holds the rope for them to get in while Sara and Jason get in-ring and she slides his jacket off him before leaving the ring with him glaring at the person warming up in the corner making sure his face mask is tight on his face protecting his nose.
DING DING DING
Emma and Jason meet in the center of the ring and lock up, with Jason immediately gaining the upper hand and shoving her backwards. Emma catches her footing and charges at Jason, but he side steps her, sending her into the ropes. On the rebound, Emma is caught right in the face with a Spinning Heel Kick. Jason then grabs her, pulling her to her feet, and while holding her by the hair Jason slaps her across the face.
Jason drives an elbow into Emma’s face, several times, rocking her almost unconscious. She staggers backwards, Jason grabs her head and drives her into the mat. Jason begins to maintain the control of the match, keeping the her grounded with a dragon sleeper.
Eventually, Emma begins mounting a comeback, throwing multiple elbows into Jason Hunters stomach. He ends up having to release the hold. Emma is back into the thick of things, her speed a little too much for Hunter in that moment. She hits him with an uppercut, causing Jason to stumble back into the ropes. Emma gets momentum bouncing off the opposite ropes and comes out clothes lining Hunter knocking him over the ropes and to the floor.
Watson: Some stiff shots being thrown back and forth in the early going here, but Jason Hunter getting the advantage.
Sydney: Meh, it's kept me awake. That is more than I thought Emma Louise would ever do for me.
Emma Louise rolls out of the ring and kicks Hunter in the chest as he’s reaching up towards the apron. She then grabs his arm and whips him into the ring post where he bounces off head first. Hunter appears to be wobbling and unsure of where he’s at. Emma stalks him as Jason tries to escape the attack by walking around the outside of the ring.
Emma follows him around the ring and feels as though she’s got Jason exactly where she wants him. Jason places his hand on the steel steps to begin climbing back into the ring. Emma, however, stomps onto his hand causing him to jerk it away in pain. She then pulls his leg out from under him causing him to hit the steel steps back first.
Emma raises her arms in arrogant response before rolling back into the ring, Jason Hunter, barely beats the count out as he rolls back in as well.
As Hunter rolls back into the ring, Emma Louise is immediately upon him looking for the offensive advantage. Hunter sidesteps her and shoves her towards the corner of the ring. He then begins throwing stiff kicks into her mid section and upper thigh area. She begins sliding down the turnbuckles Jason begins stomping down on her legs before turning away showing the look of anger upon his face. Violent is the burn flame in his eyes and he looks as though he’s had enough of this match and this woman.
Emma Louise gets to her feet and Jason again shoves her backwards as he delivers a blistering knife edge chop to the chest that garners an “oooh!” from the crowd. He peppers several chops into Emma’s chest, finally putting the exclamation point on with a final chop that sends Jason her back to the canvas.
Watson: Jason Hunter well in control here, despite Emma's best efforts to turn the tide.
Sydney: NO! No Tide jokes, Tim. That little punk wrestles later.
Hunter shoves Emma onto her stomach before she can get to her feet. He gets beside her and locks in a modified Camel Clutch! Emma screams and kicks as she attempts to escape!
She’s able to land a few strikes into Hunter’s sides as his grip is accidentally lost. It's enough that Emma is able to escape the hold, crawling away, but breathing heavily. She pulls herself up, using the ropes as support. Louise turns back towards Jason but is caught unexpectedly.
Hunter’s Drop Zone
Hunter goes for the cover.
ONE...

DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via pinfall.... JASON HUNTER!!!
Hunter gets to his feet and is celebrating the victory. He still feeling the effects of the steep stairs on his back as he cringes as he walks towards one corner of the ring. Emma Louise sits up surprised by her defeat and then begins somewhat angry. She slams her hand onto the canvas before rolling out of the ring.
Watson: This was a great back and forth match to start us off. I have a feeling these two may see each other again down the road!
Sydney: Hunter comes out on the right side of things tonight and it was a well fought victory. I knew this one would be a great match!
Watson: I'm not even going to dignify that one with a response, Cid. Don't go anywhere folks, we have so much more action yet to come!
Camera cuts to ...

The camera cuts backstage to a rather alarming sight: a charred and scarred El Pablo, his normally vibrant ring gear now tattered and tainted with stains of blood. Wisps of smoke can be seen emanating from the top of his head; a reminder of the heinous beating administered upon him by the Psych Ward on last Friday's Rampage. The Technicolour Tecnico's expression is distant; haunted; he offers nary the move of a muscle or the blink of an eye as an alarmed Lisa Goldrush steps into shot.
Lisa Goldrush: Oh my god! Pablo! Are you okay?
Mysterious Voice: Never better!
Lisa spins a startled 180 degrees as the real El Pablo strides in from the other side of the screen, an amused grin upon his face.
El Pablo: Well, that's not quite true; I'm still pretty banged up; I mean, I did get thrown off the fricking stage, after all!
Lisa Goldrush: You certainly did; not to mention all those chair shots.
El Pablo: My back right now is giving a whole new meaning to the term 'Technicolour Tecnico.'
Lisa Goldrush: In the context of tonight, then: you and I spoke last week about the challenge that Mercenary is gonna provide for you...taking Friday night and your current condition into account, does that challenge now become even greater?
EP mulls the question over for a moment, pulling a palmful of Skittles from his pocket and tossing them into his mouth.
El Pablo: You could say that...although, you could also say that the opportunity now becomes that much greater, too. Even at a hundred percent, I know I'd be going into this match tonight as the underdog. How could I not, right? After Rampage, though, facing Mercenary basically becomes a hit to nothing. If I lose, then of course I lost...but the fact of the matter, now, is that Mercenary has to win. He has to defeat the beaten up, broken down El Pablo to have any hope of looking like a credible challenger to David Miller's CW Broadcast Championship. That's a lot of pressure for our resident Outlaw but, for me? It's freedom...so tonight, I'm gonna get out there, enjoy the moment, show the beautiful Wichita faithful in here what I can do…
EP pauses to let the CHEAP POP subside.
El Pablo: ...and then, when the time is right, serve Paramount's biggest dog an even bigger Taste of the Rainbow. Viva La Rainbowlution.
With that, EP exits the scene the same way he arrived, leaving Lisa alone with his doppelganger.
Lisa Goldrush: So, which one are you? Inferno Volando?
Lisa chuckles to herself, though her levity suddenly evaporates when the doppelganger collapses to the floor. A passing crew member rushes in.
Crew Member: Quick, somebody help us! This man is seriously injured!
Stunned, Lisa turns to stare in the direction of El Pablo's exit.
Lisa Goldrush: What the f-
The camera suddenly cuts to the next slice of EWC goodness.

SINGLES MATCH
El Pablo
VS Mercenary
We return to ringside at InTrust Arena where Tim and Cid are standing by!
Watson: Welcome back to Paramount Wrestling, folks! We have another big match coming up next. The Outlaw, Mercenary, is set to take on The leader of the Rainbowlution, El Pablo!
Sydney: Mercenary is on a collision course with David Miller at Night Of Champions, but he cannot look past El Pablo tonight. If he does, the Technicolor Technico WILL make him pay!
Starr: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Puebla City, Mexico, weighing in at 180 pounds... EL PABLO!
A cry of “VIVA LA RAINBOWLUTION!!!” leads to ‘Party Hard’ by Andrew WK hitting the soundsystem, as the stage and ringside area becomes bathed in flashing, flickering, brightly-coloured lighting. As the main hook hits, El Pablo bursts through the curtain, playing to the fans and chugging Skittles like a Steveweiser. He charges down the ramp and slides under the ropes into the ring, then runs up the turnbuckle and flings a fistful of Skittles into the adoring crowd. After offering a final salute, he hops back down to the canvas, performing a few final stretches as his music fades.
Starr: And his opponent, hailing from Oakland, California, weighing in at 365 pounds, he is the EWC Outlaw... MERCENARY!
"The Gauntlet" by Dropkick Murphys blasts over the PA. A flashing red strobe lights the stage as the rest of the room goes dark. Mercenary swaggers out onto the stage with his face hidden behind a hard tactical mask painted to look like The Punisher's iconic skull logo. His eyes inside the mask scan the crowd. He crosses both arms, gloved fists clenched, across his chest and under his chin. The pose resembles a skull and crossbones. To either side of him the stage explodes in motes of red and orange flame. The fans sing along as the song comes to its chorus.
Removing the mask the big man salutes the crowd and stalks towards the ring at a steady pace filled with menace and a deadly purpose he climbs between the ropes and walks to the corner where he throws a few shadow punch combos at the turnbuckle before turning with his back to the corner, his arms crossed again across his chest to glower in his opponent's direction and wait for the bell to give him the sign to come out swinging.
DING DING DING
EP immediately rushes the big man Mercenary, connecting quickly with a calf kick that buckles Merc’s knee, but doesn’t bring him down. Another calf kick to the other leg and Merc is down to a knee pretty quickly here in the opening moments. EP quickly runs to the adjacent corner and jumps to the top rope. He begins to run the ropes and is looking for his Five Star Express dropkick, but Merc is able to quickly bat him away, causing EP to land against the ropes and then collapse to the mat.
Watson: Mercenary looked to be in trouble there for a moment, but he is agile beyond his size and was JUST quick enough to avoid the dropkick by El Pablo!
Sydney: That will be the key here. If Mercenary can stay up just enough with Pablo, he will be able to control the pace of the match.
Mercenary to his feet, grabs El Pablo and lifts him effortlessly into a double underhook tiger driver! Merc holds onto the legs for the cover…
ONE…
TWO…
TH-KICKOUT!
EP with the kick out at two, but barely! Mercenary stays on him though and gets him back to his feet and shoots him into the ropes, on the rebound Mercenary goes for a spinning side scoop slam, but El Pablo is able to wrap his arm around Mercenary’s head and connect with a big tornado DDT that had Mercenary reeling on the mat! The leader of the Rainbowlution runs to the ropes quickly, jumps to the top rope and comes off with an AsaI moonsault! Using his own momentum, Pablo kooks the leg for the cover…
ONE…
TWO…
THR- kick out by the big man!
Mercenary throws EP across the ring when powering out, which causes EP to crash into the corner. Mercenary sits up, looking around to get his bearings before quickly getting to his feet and over to the corner where his opponent is. He lays a boot into the midsection of the downed EP, then positions him outside the corner. Merc quickly turns and steps to the second rope and comes off with a falling elope drop! The crowd audibly “OOH’S” with the impact of Mercenary’s elbow into the sternum of El Pablo. Merc with the cover now…
ONE…
TWO…
THR- EP gets a boot onto the bottom rope!
Watson: Trading pinfalls here, but El Pablo keeps finding a way to stay in this one!
Merc pounds his fist in frustration, which lets Pablo roll under the ropes and to the apron to catch his breath for a moment. Merc gets to his feet and turns, looking for Pablo. He spots EP pulling himself up by the corner turnbuckles and immediately throws himself hip first into the ropes. This sends Pablo down and to the outside. Merc does not let up and goes right down and out after the Technicolor Tecnico, but EP has him scouted and is able to take him with a drop toe hold that sends Mercenary into the guard rail! Merc lands right on his throat and immediately falls back, grabbing his neck to asses the damage.
EP takes this time to roll into the ring, breaking the 10 count, but he immediately goes back to the apron. He takes a split second to size up the situation and then takes off, running three steps then leaping into the air… SHOOTING STAR PRESS off the apron onto Mercenary on the outside! The crowd is really getting behind EP now as he gets up, holding his stomach with one arm, and begins to drag Mercenary’s body to the ring. It is extremely slow going, as Mercenary is a much larger man. After a few attempts, Merc begins to stir, coughing from the damage to his throat and EP bails into the ring to create separation. Merc pulls himself up and slides under the ropes, to a waiting Pablo who puts the boots to him, but it doesn’t last long as Merc is able to grab a leg and twist, pulling Pablo to the mat. Mercenary quickly gets to his feet, picks Pablo up and locks in a full nelson hold. He picks EP up and brings him down with an atomic drop before picking him back up for a full nelson powerbomb that Mercenary calls “DECIMATOR ATOMIC DROP!” He immediately floats over for the cover…
ONE…

DING DING DING
Starr: The winner of this match via pinfall, EWC’s Outlaw….. MERCENARY!!!!!
Watson: What a win for the big man Merc here tonight!
Sydney: That’s a lot of momentum he is picking up going into his CW Broadcast Championship match at Night Of Champions!
Watson: It certainly is, but I have to give credit where its due. El Pablo was very close to pulling this one off. THis was certainly a fantastic match! Don’t go anywhere folks, we are going to be right back!

The camera cuts backstage inside The Love Club locker room where we find ‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love, who is on the phone
Love: Yes father…
Buddy listens intently and nods
Love: Yes father…
Buddy continues to nod as he takes instruction over the phone
Love: We will do just that father…
Killjoy walks into the scene and looks at Buddy, who makes a blah blah blah hand gesture as he smiles at his client
Love: Ok father, well I have to go now, our match is up next…
Buddy holds the phone away from his ear and for a split second you can hear the voice of ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love yelling at Buddy that ‘he’s not finished’ but Buddy ends the call and shrugs at Killjoy, whose eyes widen as he looks at his manger, who just waves off the phone call
Love: It was nothing, just my father wanting us to ‘take care of’ Marcu$ $t John and make sure he ‘comes into Night of Champions banged up’ to further help Xavier Reid’s chances inside the Insanity Cage…
Killjoy tilts his head slightly but Buddy shakes his
Love: Don’t worry, I could care less about improving Xavier Reid’s chances at Night of Champions, all I’m concerned with is beating Marcu$ here tonight and improving our chances of getting a shot at the North American Championship post NOC, that’s ALL I’m concerned with...that and this…
Buddy flips to his email app and pulls up a email from the DC Studios and shows it to Killjoy
Love: Seems they are once again high on you being The Rising Sun, not sure where that’s coming from but we’ll handle that AFTER tonight, tonight we have a chance to beat Marcu$ YET AGAIN and prove he’s just a placeholder…
Buddy smirks
Love: I mean the guy is so unattached and not focused on THIS match, I mean come on...he thinks my father Tommy Love is the one pumping your head full of confidence, that my father is your ‘weasley manager’ when it’s ME, BUDDY LOVE that is your weasley manager...I mean are we dealing with another Wes Walker again...a man who can’t tell the difference between a 70 year old man and me…
Buddy shakes his head
Love: And I love it when he, like so man before him, took issues with you having a manager...a mouthpiece if you will, yet then go out and hire their own mouthpiece to fill air in their promos...I mean if you really hate the Love’s so much why on Earth are you following our templet?
Buddy shrugs
Love: I guess they and now Marcu$ wants to be more like Killjoy than he’s willing to let on, I mean I know him being 0-2 against us bothers him, it eats away at him because he knows nobody is buying the crap he’s spouting about him being ‘above’ you in any manner and now imagine if you beat him and roll Marcu$’s record against you to 0-3…
Buddy mouths ‘wow’
Love: And then there was his terrible take on comparing our Paramount #009 opponents, saying that Stephanie Matsuda was ‘no Robbie Rayder’...well duh!!! I mean she did beat Ace King and was in the Main Event of Hardcore Revolution challenging for the Undisputed Championship...Robbie didn’t do that, I mean he’s NEVER beat Ace King or main evented a Main Brand ppv...oh wait, that’s not the way you were trying to spin that was it…
Buddy laughs
Love: That wasn’t well thought out was it...but it’s ok, Marcu$ is just tossing things at the wall and hoping SOMETHING sticks and I get it, for the first time he matters here in Paramount and he’s trying to run down any threat to his status but the fact is, Killjoy Ito, championship or no, is one of the pillars of his brand because he’s a threat to win ANY championship he challenges for and make no mistake about it...he’s looking right at that North American strap Marcu$...
Buddy looks right into the camera and smiles as it fades to black...

TAG TEAM SHOWASE
SUPER 16 TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH
The Texas Angels
VS Stitches X Nevaeh
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Watson: Folks, it's been a crazy night so far...and it only gets crazier as we get set for tag team action! It's the first round of the Super 16 Tag Team Tournament, and Paramount kicks off the action with the Texas Angels taking on Stitches and Nevaeh!
Starr: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall, and is a first round match in the Super 16 Tag Team Tournament! Joining us first, at a combined weight of 247 pounds, the team of Carrie and Nina Samson ... THE TEXAS ANGELS!
"Doing It Wrong" by Brent Rivera blasts across the speakers as pink and yellow lights bounce around the arena. Nina and Carrie Samson burst through the curtains as the crowd goes nuts. They stand on the stage, fist bump with each other before sprinting down the ramp and hyping the crowd by standing on the turnbuckles.
Starr: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 384 pounds, the team of ... STITCHES X NEVAEH!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat drops at around the thirty seven second mark 'Gasoline' by Porcelain And The Tramps is mashed into the music at a more slow, methodical pace than usual. The curtains are brushed to the side, smoke spewing out from behind the curtains, and out walks Stitches with Nevaeh following close behind. A wide, red-painted Chelsea-esque grin is across the face of Stitches as he stares out at the crowd of people before him, Nevaeh has a similar smirk painted across her face.
Stitches methodically makes his way down the ramp, Nevaeh close behind him as she does her best not to let anyone touch her along the way. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Nevaeh stands on the apron near Stitches and gives her backside a little shake before stepping between the ropes. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide for the crowd to embrace him. Nevaeh strikes a pose of her own. As expected, the crowd does not embrace the two. Stitches steps down from the ropes and the two of them wait for their opponents.
DING DING DING
Nev and Carrie start things off, with Nev showing off a great deal of aggression on Carrie with some hard strikes to wear the Care Bear down. Nev has the clear advantage here, using her experience to block an enziguri attempt by Carrie before dropping her with a clothesline. Nev continues the attack with some boots to Carrie, who does her best to get back to her feet...but as soon as she does, she gets dropped with a Lou Thesz press! Nev with some hard rights to the face, followed by slamming Carrie's head against the mat repeatedly as the ref finally steps in to intervene.
Nev starts arguing with the ref, but it quickly turns into laughter as she tags in Stitches. The X-Division Champion shows a bit of the violence he's known for, going right after the weakened Samson with some hard kicks before picking her up and sending her into the ropes looking for a sidewalk slam on the rebound...but Carrie dodges it, and uses her momentum to take the champ down with an Shining Wizard!
Watson: Wow, look at the impact! Carrie dealing some damage after taking it from Nev early on.
Sydney: Carrie better not get too cocky though, cause Nevaeh WILL take the opening if she sees it!
Carrie sees her chance to tag in Nina...who gets knocked off the apron by Nev from inside the ring! The ref shouts at Nev to get back in her corner while Carrie gets to her feet. Unfortunately for her, so too does Stitches...who drops Carrie with a running neckbreaker! With his partner back in the corner, Stitches gives a tag to Nev and the two begin to double team Carrie with some hard strikes followed by a double clothesline...but Carries evades it Matrix-style! CARRIEVISION! Nina's back on the apron, chomping at the bit to get in...and Carrie delivers with the hot tag!
Nina is a house on fire, sending Stitches into the turnbuckle with a dropkick before turning her attention to Nev with a flurry of offense that culminates in a right jab...a left hook...a right cross...and a spinning roundhouse kick! Nev just got dropped with a Chrissy Special, and Nina goes for the cover!
ONE...
NOPE! NEV KICKS OUT!
Watson: Wow, Nev is having NONE of that Chrissy Special from Nina Samson!
Sydney: Why's it called that, anyway?
Watson: Because Nina's full name is Christina, Sid...Chrissy for short, but she goes by Nina. Get it now?
Sydney: ...good lord, what mysteries befall us in the world of pro wrestling. Don't take that crap from someone with two names, Nevaeh!
Nev gets back to her feet, and she proceeds to go at it with lefts and rights on Nina who is forced to relent as Nev hits a running one-handed bulldog on the Texas Angel. As soon as Nina drops to the canvas, Nev starts going for the Gates of Hell, but Nina narrowly slips out before the Last Chancery gets locked in! Nina slowly gets back to her feet, still looking a little out of it as Nev gets the tag to Stitches, and they immediately go after Nina with some double-team maneuvers that culminate in a double clothesline that connects!
Carrie runs in looking to make the save, but gets thrown over the top rope by Nev before she and Stitches turn their attention back to Nina. Stitches lifts her onto his shoulders, signaling to Nev to climb the top rope...and connects with the clothesline on Nina! SOUTHSIDE OF HEAVEN! Nev sees Carrie stirring on the outside and cuts her off as Stitches goes for the cover!
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via pinfall ...STITCHES X NEVAEH!
The ref raises their arms in victory as Carrie checks on Nina, before we cut to commentary.
Watson: What a match, folks! Texas Angels took it to Stiches and Nevaeh, but came up just short in the end.
Sydney: I'll give them kudos of course, BUT this means the clown with the X-Division gold gets ever closer to taking another prize with his accomplice Nev...and I gotta be honest, that is annoying given that Stitches ABANDONED us for Brawl!
Stitches and Nev stare at the Angels with a chuckle before leaving the ring, heading up the ramp to a chorus of boos from the crowd.
Watson: Well, be that as it may we now have one team locked in for the quarterfinals...and in our main event, we will not only have the other team locked in BUT we will see if Southern Express can retain the championships against the Wicked and the Devine! Before we get there, though, we have a unique match ahead of us as Jake Lumas takes on Isabella...with the caveat of technical wrestling only!
Camera cuts to .commercial...

SINGLES MATCH
TECHNICAL WRESTLING ONLY
Jake Lumas
VS Isabella
The camera pans across the crowd while they wait for the upcoming bout.
Watson: Cid, this tension between these two upcoming competitors is palpable. Jake Lumas and Isabella do not like each other, and have been very vocal about it.
Sydney: Understatement of a lifetime, Tim. Things could easily get out of hand here, but it will be interesting to see how a bar room brawler and a Marine Corps fighter will handle a match without any striking.
Starr: The following match is a technical wrestling match. All striking is forbidden. Joining us first, from TIJUANA, MEXICO, weighing in at 164 pounds ... 'LA BELICISTA' ISABELLA!
As "War" by Sick Puppies blasts over the PA, a large red plume of smoke conceals the top of the ramp. The Mexican flag appears on the X-Tron as a shadow appears in the lingering fog. Red pyros shoot off into the air as we see “La Belicista” Isabella’s silhouette.
Isabella strides confidently down towards the ramp, giving high-fives to the fans and audience along the way. When “La Belicista” Isabella arrives in front of the ring, she slips in between the middle and uppermost set of ropes.
She then stands atop the same ropes she slid through. She clenches her right fist and raises it high up in the air. Her left, meanwhile, raises as she salutes to the EWC audience. After soaking in the reaction and atmosphere, “La Belicista” jumps off the ropes, lands gracefully on her feet, and turns to wait against the turnbuckle whilst waiting for her opponent to arrive.
Starr: And her opponent, from CINCINNATI, OHIO, weighing in at 220 pounds ... JAKE LUMAS!
Jake Lumas heads to the ring to the sound of Motorhead's "Born to Raise Hell", all business, and eyes on the prize.
DING DING DING
Isabella and Lumas circle each other, snapping into a stiff tie up. Lumas uses his strength advantage and backs Isabella into the corner. The ref steps in and breaks it up. Isabella shakes her fingers loose and squats down low, getting into a wrestling position. She and Lumas, like a couple of amateur wrestlers, circle each other in the center. Lumas scrambles in, wraps his arms and Isabella's waist, and picks her up in the air, and slams her down on her back, keeping his grip on her midsection. He picks her up to her feet, and once again, picks her up and slams her, the air whooshing out of her.Lumas maintains the grip, goes to pick up Isabella, but she wraps her legs around his knee cap, and rolls through, grabbing for Lumas's ankle for an ankle lock. Lumas scrambles away to the ropes. Isabella stays on him, grabbing for an arm, and jumps.
JUMPING ARMBAR!
Isabella wraps her legs around Lumas's arm and drapes them across his chest, using her weight to topple Lumas over, but Lumas stays upright. He gets a grip on Isabella's gear, lifts her up into the air, and slams her down on her back. Air whooshes out of Isabella's lungs and she grabs the ropes with her free hand. The ref breaks their holds, and separates them.
Watson: Isabella showing off her grappling abilities here early on, but that strength advantage from Jake Lumas is going to be her bane all night. She will have to find a way around that
Sydney: This one isn't going to last long, I don't think, Tim. Lumas will play around for a bit, but in the end this is his match and he knows it.
Isabella and Lumas square off once again. Isabella goes for a collar and elbow tie up but Lumas ducks under and grabs her in a headlock, grinding her ears and loving it. Isabella socks him in the gut with a back elbow once, twice, and escapes, hitting the ropes and bouncing off, leaping up and snaking her body around Lumas's neck.
HURINCANRANA
Lumas goes flying onto his back and Isabella goes for the cover.
ONE...
TWO...
Kickout by Lumas. Isabella reaches for Lumas's head but Lumas wraps his legs around her midsection and pulls her close, wrapping an arm around her neck.
ONE ARMED CHOKE
Isabella's air cut off, she attempts to break Lumas's grip, prying at his arm. When that fails, she puts her forearm into Lumas's throat, and bears her own weight down, choking Lumas in the process. Lumas releases his choke, grabs Isabella's arm, and transitions.
ARMBAR!
Isabella's foot scrambles and finds the rope. The ref breaks the hold, and Lumas isn't happy about it. He stays on Isabella, ties her up, and whips her into the turnbuckle with a resounding thud. Isabella fires back with a clothesline, but Lumas turns his back and body-checks her back into the turnbuckle with his shoulder. Lumas wraps her arm around his neck and suplexes her up onto the turnbuckle. Then he comes up after her, and wraps her arm around his head.
SUPERPLEX!
Lumas and Isabella fly backwards in a superplex, and land dead center in the ring. Lumas goes for the cover.
ONE...
TWO...
Kickout by Isabella. Lumas catches a breath and rises to his feet, pulling Isabella with him, picks her up and bodyslams her down. Lumas reaches for her leg, and steps through for a figure four. Isabella reaches up, grabs him by the shoulders, and pulls him forward.
SMALL PACKAGE!
The ref goes for the count.
ONE...
TWO...
Kickout by Lumas, but just barely. Both competitors get back to their feet.
Watson: Isabella finding that deep down drive to survive at all costs here! She found a way to get back into this one.
Sydney: It may be too late though, Tim. The damage might have already been done here by Lumas.
Isabella waists no time here and scrambles away to create space, but not too far so that she can quickly close the gap on Lumas by jumping at his back, which is turned to her. she wraps her arms around Lumas's head, looking for the a submission, but she is struggling to wrap her legs around Jake's body as he is on his feet. He's fighting it by trying to swing back and forth, hoping that it creates enough momentum to shake her off, but no luck.
He tries to reach behind himself to grab something, anything, to give him an advantage here but Isabella is keeping her head far enough away that it is out of reach. Lumas tries to lunch forward at the ropes to break the hold, but all that does is give Isabella the momentum she needs to lock her legs around Lumas's body!
KIRAFUDA CLUTCH!!!!
Watson: She calls that one GOFO!!! The hold is locked in tight now!
Lumas fights it with all of his being, he's grasping at any straw he can find to get leverage. He tries to roll backwards, but all that does is land him square in the middle of the ring as Isabella is able to hold on. The referee keeps asking if he gives, but Jake is refusing. Isabella let's out a gutteral yell that can be heard all through out InTrust arena as she cinches it in even tighter. Slowly, the lights go out in Lumas's head as his eyes begin to roll around in their sockets. Referee Matt Mercer calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via submission.... "La Belicista" ISABELLA!!!!!
Isabella raises her arms in victory, vindicated.
Watson: She did it! Isabella pulls off the win here tonight, pulling out a seldom used hold to do it!
Sydney: What ever gets the job done, Tim. That was the name of the game here tonight... Isabella did what she had to do.
EWC HR representative Julia Whelan appears at the top of the ramp, flanked by an army of men in suits with black sunglasses. She points at the ring with one arm and the men in suits head down to the ring en masse.
Isabella rolls out of the ring and like a swarm they head into the ring and surround Jake Lumas, who is still getting to his feet, not sure what to make of it. Soon, he finds himself surrounded on all sides, unsure where the threat will come from. They dogpile on top of him, and he disappears beneath the mound of bodies. After a few moments of struggling, the men in suits start to back off, and Lumas is pulled to his feet, hands cuffed behind his back, and his mouth taped shut. The men in suits help Lumas through the ring ropes, and begin walking him up the ramp against his will. Lumas resists, but there are too many men in suits to fight the forward momentum.
They stop in front of Julia Whelan, who smiles at him, pinches his cheek, and points to the back. The men in suits take Lumas through the curtain. Julia Whelan turns to the crowd, waves and smiles, and heads in after them.
Watson: Cyd, what the hell did we just see? Did the HR department just disappear Jake Lumas?
Sydney: Tim, I'm not touching that one with a 20 foot pole. I like my job. I don't want Ms. Whelan and the HR department visiting me.

The camera cuts backstage to find Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane of your record breaking EWC Tag Team Champions of the World, The Southern Express, alongside the third member of their trio, their manager Bunny Love as they get ready for tonight’s Super 16 Championship Tag Team Tournament match
Love: All right, tonight’s the night...Paramount kicks of their matches in this Super 16 Tag Team Tournament with two matches but let’s not pretend both matches are equal here tonight, only ONE is for the Tag Team Championships…
Bobby and Jimmy nod and high five
Love: This ragtag team of Adriana Aquilla and James Keaton…
Rose: The Wicked…
Lane: and The Divine…
Bunny nods
Love: If it wasn’t for this tournament there is NO WAY in hell they would be getting a shot at those…
Buddy points at the EWC Tag Team Championship belts
Love: In their first match as a team...they are the luckiest team in this tournament and it’s like they don’t even get it. I mean here they are, in the Main Event of Paramount #010 and let’s be honest, they aren’t ‘main event worthy’...they are only in the Main Event tonight because of US!!!
Bobby and Jimmy nod in agreement
Rose: A bit harsh but you’re not wrong and sure, it would be easy for us to overlook them and dismiss them as not a ‘real threat’ but that’s how champions get caught, how they get knocked off and we aren’t going to make that mistake here tonight. Sure we are the heavy beating favorite to advance in the quarter finals of the Super 16 Tag Team Tournament but we have to win the match first…
Lane: Sure we will look across the ring at a ‘team’ that is a bit dysfunctional, a ‘team’ that is going to have trust issues and a ‘team’ that is already counting themselves out but hey...we have to go out there and beat them…
Jimmy laughs as Bobby shakes his head
Rose: Was it a smart move for James to attack Addy at Parabellum, NO, not when he agreed to tag with her but he knows this will be a short term partnership…
Lane: Yeah, shorter than Tommy’s 4th marriage…
Bunny smiles
Love: Oh Shelly, I liked her, she always had candy…
But Bobby shakes his head
Rose: Shelly was wife number 5, we are talking about Beth, the Hooters waitress he married in Reno and divorced 36 hours later…
Lane: Fun times but James and Addy are on that path, you can’t honestly believe they will team up again after tonight...a loss ends The Wicked and The Divine and moved us down our historic path here in the EWC…
Rose: That’s right Jimmy, this will be championship defense number 8, day number 381 and only 12 days behind of tying and 13 days away from breaking Jaden ‘Xplode’ Hunter’s mark of 393 days as Undisputed Champion and moving into 2nd place on the All Time Record…
Lane: So if you are wondering if we are ready and prepared for tonight well…
Rose: The answer is hell yeah, we didn’t come this far to be ‘derailed’ by The Wicked and The Divine…
Love: The first round of the Super 16 Tag Team Tournament might end with our match here tonight but the entire tournament starts with US...we have the chance to run the table, something no other champion has been able to do in a tournament setting and cement our legacy here in the EWC…

Killjoy Ito
VS Marcu$ $t John
We return to ringside where Tim and Cid are standing by.
Watson: We've seen some big matches already tonight folks, but this one might be the closest to the match to watch we've had yet! The North American Champion Marcu$ $t. John takes on a man he has yet to figure out in Killjoy Ito! This one could have championship contender implications if Ito makes it 3 for 3!
Sydney: I don't know, M$J has been laser focused on upping his game since winning the North American Championship. Let's see what happens!
Starr: The following non-title match is set for one fall. Joining us first, residing in Daly City, California, weighing in at 235 pounds ... KILLJOY ITO!
‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love walks out onto the stage and raises his arms into the air as the lights fade out. He jumps up and down as ‘Deeper Depper’ begins to play. A strobe light circles around the stage as a single white spotlight hits the stage where Killjoy Ito is standing, his back facing the ring, his arms stretched out and his head down. He swings around to face the ring as Buddy Love runs up and stands next to him. After a quick word the pair start to walk towards the ring, Buddy runs ahead and charges up the steps and holds open the ropes for Killjoy to step through. Killjoy walks to the center of the ring, extends his arms and tilts his head back to soak everything in.
Starr: And the opponent, Coming to the ring at 6'1" and weighing 210 lbs, he is the current EWC North American Champion, it's The Young Mogul ...MARCU$ $T. JOHN!
"Fast Lane" blasts through the arena by Bad Meets Evil. A Maybach drives up through the entrance ramp. A chauffeur gets out of the vehicle and opens the back door. Marcu$ $t John gets out on the entrance stage and money starts falling down from the sky with his face on 100 dollar bills as green laser lights illuminate the arena. As the money shower stops, Marcus walks down the ramp with a smug look on his face.
He stops right before he gets to the ring and basks in the boos that he is getting from the crowd and waves his hands around as to tell them to keep it going and get louder. He jumps up on the apron and wipes his feet before he enters the ring and poses in the middle of the ring as a light shines a hundred dollar bill in the center of the ring with his face on it.
DING DING DING
Marcu$ lashes out with a Superkick that Killjoy ducks. Marcu$ follows through with a Clothesline that knocks Ito to the mat. Marcu$ stomps Ito before dragging him to his feet and ramming Ito into the corner. Marcu$ strikes with knees to the gut before taking a step back and recreating THAT Crane pose from Karate Kid. Angered Ito grabs Marcu$ and throws him into the corner lashing out at Marcu$' chest with Chop after Chop. Marcu$ staggers out of the corner walking right into a Pump Kick. Killjoy lifts Marcu$ to his feet and up for a Falcon Arrow but Marcu$ is able to slip out of it and hit a DDT. Marcu$ lifts Killjoy off the ground and hits Killjoy's face into his knee. Ito clutches his nose. Marcu$ tries to lift him but Killjoy counters with a Backdrop. As Marcu$ gets to his feet, Killjoy hits a Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick. He covers.

SINGLES MATCH
NON-TITLE
Jordan Freakin' Sharpe
VS David Miller
We return to ringside at InTrust Arena where Tim and Cid are standing by!
Watson: Well folks, a wild night here on Paramount gets a bit more interesting in this non-title match up as Jordan Sharpe takes on the CW Broadcast Champion, David Miller!
Starr: The following non-title match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from New Brunswick, Canada, weighing in at 230 pounds... JORDAN FREAKIN' SHARPE!
"You Ain't Ready" by Skillet plays through the arena as JFS comes out with Carley California and heads down to the ring, high fiving some fans along the way and slides under the bottom rope.
Starr: And his opponent, hailing from Long Beach, California, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the CW Broadcast Champion... MERCENARY!
As the aggressive cadence of Damnation Plan's “Judgement Day” rips through the speakers, the lights shift to rapid strobes as David Miller marches out from behind the curtain, head bowed and fists clenched. A sudden twist cracks the bones in his neck as he starts down towards the ring, paying no attention to the mixed reaction of the crowd. Reaching the floor, he climbs the ring steps and ducks between the ropes, silently pacing the inside of the ring while peeling off his jacket. Tossing it aside he moves to his corner and turns, locking his eyes on Sharpe as he awaits the bell.
DING DING DING
Both men come out of their corners looking for a fight. They tie up hard and instantly vie for control. The five pound weight advantage Miller has is not doing him any favors, nor is the one inch height advantage that JFS has. They battle back and forth before each man breaks the lock up. They circle each other again, lock up one more time, this time JFS is able to transition to a side headlock, followed by a takedown, but Miller is quick to escape. Another lock up and this time Miller gets the side headlock, transitions into a rear wrist lock and moves to push JFS forward, but he grabs the ropes, stopping momentum and forcing Miller back, who rolls back out and to his feet. JFS turns around just in time to reach a stalemate with Miller. The fans clap in appreciation of the athleticism they just witnessed.
Watson: What a display of sportsmanship from both men right there. We have ourselves a grapple here tonight folks!
Both men nod before they start trading blows. Left from Miller, right from JFS, Left from Miller, Right from JFS. This repeats over and over until Miller is able to force JFS to have to take an extra half step to balance himself. This gives Miller the opportunity to close the gap and land a few knife edge chops that reverberate all throughout the InTrust Arena! Jordany clinchies up and takes the chops, his chest instantly turning red, until he hits the corner. He is then able to quickly reverse their positions and now JFS with boots to Miller. One, Two, Three, Four, Miller stumbles to a knee before referee Jesse Lizarraga breaks them up. JFS backs out, but Miller is back to his feet and charging before she can even check on him. Miller with a spear that takes them both to the mat! Miller with the cover on JFS.

Kickout!
JFS kicks out at two, but Miller tries to mount and go for punches. JFS is able to roll out quickly and grabs the leg of David Miller, locking in an attempt at an Ankle lock submission! Miller is caught off guard at first, but within five seconds is able to make it to the ropes, forcing a break in the action. JFS immediately lets go and looks to get up but Miller dives at him and is able to force JFS to the ground, giving Miller time to test out the ankle. He is able to put weight on it, but he is being careful with it as he gets back to his feet. JFS is not far behind though as he shoves Miller into the corner. Miller hits the turnbuckle chest first, then turns right into THE FREAKIN’ BOOT! Big boot by JFS sends Miller to the mat. Jordan grabs Miller by the foot and drags him to the middle of the ring, quickly going for the cover…
ONE…

TH-Kickout!
Miller kicked out at the LAST possible second! JFS rolls away to get distance. Both men get to their feet, JFS charges for a clothesline, but Miller ducks, pivots and grabs the arms of JFS locking in the NONE-PERCENTER!!!!! He immediately starts to jerk the body of JFS back and forth, looking to get the former Undisputed Champion to submit!
Watson: This could be it! Miller has the None-Percenter locked in and it looks like it’s in tight!
Sydney: Miller could have another victory over a former Undisputed champion here!
Miller continues to jerk Jordan back and forth, but JFS is able to steady himself for a moment by hooking a leg behind one of Miller’s This gives him a chance to drop all of his weight downward, bringing the CW Broadcast champion’s neck down onto Jordan’s head! Miller breaks the hold as he flails backward from the impact. Jordan gabs his head as he turns to see Miller grabbing his neck. Miller struggles to his feet but JFS is right there locking in the SHARPEKNIFE!!!! He connects with the full nelson facebuster and quickly rolls Miller over for the cover…

DING DING DING
Starr: Here is your winner via pinfall…. JORDAN SHARPE!!!!
Watson: WOW…
There is silence from both commentators.
Sydney: I… honestly can’t believe this.
Watson: For the first time this YEAR, David Miller has been pinned inside of a Paramount Wrestling ring...What an absolute fantastic match we just witnessed. No matter the outcome, we as fans just won because we go to witness that match. David Miller put on one hell of a show, but in the end Jordan Sharpe was able to take that one millisecond to find a way out of the None-Percenter. Will JFS have a future CW Broadcast championship match in his future? We will have to find out after Night of Champions!
Sydny: JFS came here and said the he IS Paramount.... He may well have just proved it folks!
Watson: Don't go anywhere, the EWC Tag Team championships are on the line... NEXT!

TAG TEAM SHOWCASE
FOR THE EWC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
SUPER 16 TAG TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH
The Wicked & The Divine
VS The Southern Express
We return to ringside following the comments made by (INSERT NAME) as the crowd waits in anticipation for the next match.
Watson: We’ve seen a lot of major action tonight including the The Texas Angels taking on Stitches and Neveah. That was the seventh of eight matches for the first round of the Super 16 Tournament. We know what the bracket looks like going into the second round except for one match and that is our main event of the evening!
Starr: The following match is a first round match in the EWC Super 16 Tag Team Tournament, and it is also for the EWC Tag Team Championships!
The opening riff to "Iron" by Within Temptation hits the speakers and the crowd comes to their feet as the lights flash around the arena before finally, Adriana comes out from the back ready for her big match. James Keaton follows from behind, slowly and methodically cracking his knuckles.
Starr: Coming to the ring at a combined weight of 368 lbs. James Keaton, Adriana Aquilla, they are THE WICKED AND THE DIVINE!
James eyes the ring as he makes it his solitary focus. Adriana makes her way down to the ring mouthing the lyrics to her theme song along the way, as she enters the ring she removes her jacket before yelling out "THE WAR IS COMING" in time with her song before jumping over the top rope and rolling into the ring before posing on one knee with her arms outstretched at her sides.
Watson: Whatever their differences are, you have to believe that Adriana Aquilla is making the most of this opportunity. She’s come up short so far in her search for EWC gold. Can she make it happen in what looks like the most unlikely of circumstances?
Sydney: You have to consider that this is James Keaton’s first title shot in the EWC. We know this tag team does not get along, but battle lines can be redrawn when there’s gold on offer. We know what Addy can do in these situations, but James Keaton will have to prove he’s got something beyond himself tonight.
Starr: And their opponents...
The electric guitar kicks in to 'Stranglehold' as the crowd gets to their feet, some of the older females in the crowd start to scream like they did when they were younger as Bunny Love walks out onto the stage and is quickly followed by Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane.
Starr: Being accompanied to the ring by Bunny Love, hailing from Nashville, Tennessee and with a combined weight of 445 lbs. Tonight marks the XXXth day in their reign as the EWC Tag Team Champions of the World! They are Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane! THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS!!!
Bunny leads the way as the pair reach out and high five with the fans as they walk to the ring. Bunny marches up the steps and steps through the ropes as Bobby and Jimmy climb up onto the apron and step through the ropes, take off the titles and hands them to Bunny and head to opposite corners, Jimmy climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and Bobby stands in the corner as both men toss out bandannas to the crowd as Bunny stands in the middle of the ring holding up both Tag Team Championship belts.
Watson: 380 days as champions, 7 defenses so far, 0 losses in 2021 as they search for the perfect season. The numbers favor the Southern Express tonight, but you can imagine every team in the EWC who wants to test themselves against the best will be watching this one.
Sydney: There are a lot of numbers in Professional Wrestling, a lot of records made and broken. But only one number matters for those guys in the ring tonight and that’s whoever gets the One-Two-Three!
Watson: This is our Main Event of the evening, will it be a Miracle in Kansas or will the reign of the Southern Express go to Day XXX+1 and beyond?
DING DING DING
Addy exchanges fast blows with Jimmy, as James tries to outbox Bobby. They continue punching each other into separate halves of the ring, neither gaining a true advantage at first. Addy uses her speed to dodge Jimmy, dropping quick shots to the stomach. James is pushed into the corner by Bobby who indicates a severe chop to the chest is coming. James braces for impact, but the audible he calls upon being hit tells the world exactly where they don’t want to be. Addy takes advantage in the opposite corner, overwhelming Jimmy with her burst of agility. Addy goes for a Hurricanrana but Jimmy’s ring smarts kick in and he pushes her off before she does the rotation. Addy lands on her feet and tries another move, but Jimmy absolutely rocks her with a Forearm Smash! Addy takes a split-second to recover but Jimmy has already turned the tide and put her into the corner.
James has been exchanging chops with Bobby, but Bobby grounds James by giving him a Dropkick into the corner. James rebounds off the turnbuckle padding as Bobby pushes him back. The veteran tag team know immediately what their aim is as they signal each other for their patented Slingshot Irish Whip. James and Adriana are thrown out of their respective corners and into each other... but Addy’s instincts kick in to avoid a collision. She grabs onto James’ arm and swings herself round roughly. Using the momentum, she runs right at Bobby and hits him with an absolute gunshot of a Flying Knee! Bobby is sent tumbling out of the ring to his and James’ surprise, who is still dizzy from being spun around relentlessly by Adriana.
James is quickly thrown out of the ring by Jimmy, who now looks at Adriana like the lion being challenged for dominance of the pride. The match finally has a set of legal participants as the crowd starts warming up to the impending confrontation.
Watson: Adriana Aquilla has been putting the work in! Bobby Rose just got sent into next week with that Flying Knee and Jimmy Lane is now staring a hole into The Divine half of The Wicked and The Divine.
Sydney: That look on Jimmy’s face usually means it’s child support payment day but not tonight! Southern Express had some advantage just a moment ago, but Addy Aquilla just found a way to even things out.
Watson: The Southern Express have stated that they are the better tag team, but ‘Lo Divino’ has said she wants to achieve a Miracle in Kansas tonight. That reversal of fortune may be the start of something big!
Sydney: Or it may simply be a spark of hope about to be extinguished! The reality of the Southern Express is they’re the best team in the EWC.
Jimmy and Addy square off and immediately get to work. Jimmy goes for another Forearm Smash but Addy scouts it this time and counters with a quick Armdrag. Jimmy rolls out and rebounds from the ropes looking for a Clothesline but Addy ducks under. Jimmy runs the ropes again and when Addy looks to duck a second Clothesline, Jimmy hits a Swinging Neckbreaker and sends her to the ground. Jimmy goes for a cover.
ONE...
Adriana kicks out before two.
Bobby and James have made it to their respective corners by now. Addy gets to her feet shortly after Jimmy and now she runs the ropes. Jimmy predicts some sort of high crossbody so attempts to avoid it, but Addy runs the ropes again and builds up speed. Jimmy tries to predict another rebound move but Adriana leapfrogs Jimmy to reach the ropes again. She jumps onto the second rope and bounces off with an Aerial Crossbody which catches Jimmy flush. Addy rolls off and swiftly lands a Standing Moonsault. She stands up and does it again, three fast moves to ground Jimmy Lane of the Southern Express. Addy goes for the pin.
ONE...
Bobby pushes Addy off before two.
Bobby calls for the tag and despite Adriana’s attempts at stopping it, Jimmy makes it to the corner. James Keaton calls for the tag but Addy is feeling confident so she waves it off. Jimmy and Addy square off now, with Jimmy looking to get a measure of revenge from that Flying Knee from earlier. The crowd start making themselves heard even more as the action ramps up between these two. Jimmy goes for an Armdrag, Addy kips up but Jimmy scouts it and lands a second Armdrag before releasing the arm.
Addy gets to her knees before Jimmy attempts a grapple from behind. Jimmy lifts Addy, but she doesn’t allow it to turn into a move before she splits the hold and runs the ropes. Jimmy’s seen the aerial offence so he moves to the side, waits for Addy to come running back and attempts a Leg Trip. Adriana stumbles but catches herself on the opposing ropes. Jimmy holds up his hand for a test of strength, but Adriana shakes her head. Jimmy holds out his hands as if to say “fair” but attempts to Irish Whip Adriana from her current position. Addy takes the bait thinking she’ll rebound from the ropes, but Jimmy knows in advance he’s turning this Irish Whip into a Short-Arm Clothesline. Addy gets grounded from the move but jumps to her feet aiming to avoid any further punishment from the move.
As Addy gets back up and leans against the ropes, James Keaton slaps Addy to make the tag and raises an eyebrow as she looks to protest. James cracks his knuckles and faces down Jimmy who patiently waits for the fresh man to try and make a move. James doesn’t immediately take the bait, instead feeling out what Jimmy’s reactions are like as he feints for a Takedown. Jimmy doesn’t give away much information, so eventually James tries one for real and doesn’t get all of it. Jimmy reverses the hold into a Wristlock, which is then reversed by James. James attempts to take control but can’t push Jimmy to the ground, instead he’s put into a compromising position as Jimmy bends down and untwists his elbow before forcing James into a Headlock Takeover. Jimmy maintains the headlock as James struggles to escape. Eventually, James starts rolling his body and twisting himself enough to force his momentum out of the hold. Both men get to their feet and exchange glances before locking up. James tries for the Wristlock again but the reversal forces him to make his own into a Chinlock. James forces Jimmy to the ground and quickly uses his legs to get a Triangle Choke, Jimmy gets a hand in the way ensuring James doesn’t get it all locked in as they struggle for optimal positioning.
Watson: Addy may have questioned that tag, but James Keaton is slowing the match down and keeping Jimmy Lane guessing. This Triangle Choke could be more of a danger if James can force the hold.
Sydney: We’ve seen how Bobby and Jimmy react to the speed and agility of Adriana. Now they’re got to work around the technical abilities of The Wicked.
James lays on his back and tries to push the locked arm away, but Jimmy keeps it in place to ensure he can breathe effectively. Bunny starts to slap the mat and Bobby starts to clap his hands, motivating Jimmy to make his way out of the predicament. Jimmy starts to get to his feet, pushing more weight on James and making the hold harder to control. Jimmy starts using his standing base to jump side-to-side, rotating the lock and loosening the grip before eventually coming free. The crowd loves the showmanship!
James shakes his head with disappointment. James is then met with a quick kick to the back followed by another. Jimmy uses the standing advantage to get some more stiff blows in. James is rocked by a Leg Drop by Jimmy. Jimmy runs the ropes and looks to do another Leg Drop, but James rolls out of the way and gets to his feet. Both men exchange another glance of acknowledgment before committing to another collar-and-elbow tie-up. James doesn’t go for a Wristlock this time, instead favoring the Greco-Roman Stomp-to-the-foot to cut off some circulation. He follows this up with a European Uppercut, and another, and a third before attempting to gain control of the tempo of the match. Jimmy immediately picks up on what’s going on and backs away to his tag corner, getting Bobby to come into the ring.
James scowls, feeling that he lost his advantage. Adriana looks to the crowd for support and while they may be in her corner, they’re certainly not in the corner of James Keaton. Bobby takes the initiative and starts to circle James, looking to keep him guessing. James doesn’t hesitate to try and lock up, but his attempt to slow down Bobby is met with equal measure. Bobby and James exchange blows, but neither can take true advantage until Bobby pulls James closer to the corner with Jimmy in. James starts to realize what’s going on but when he can’t escape the impending situation. Bobby quickly tags Jimmy in and they go to work on James Keaton, much to the joy of the crowd.
Bobby and Jimmy keep tagging the other in as they start a revolving door of offence against The Wicked, who is stuck in a bad way. Bobby is eventually tagged in for good as he whips James into the opposing ropes, the rebound of which sends James into a sublime Double Dropkick by the veteran tag team. James shakes off the cobwebs but is immediately pounced upon by Bobby, who knows that the momentum is swiftly turning to the favor of the Southern Express. Bobby picks James up and sends him back to Jimmy’s corner with a Dropkick. James can’t escape as Bobby is on him again, ensuring that Jimmy gets tagged in to deliver some more punishment. There may be no rest for The Wicked, but right now there’s no offence coming from him either.
Jimmy lifts James up, dropping him down with a Suplex before Bobby delivers a Top Rope Splash. Adriana looks on with some dismay as she can tell this is all going South very quickly. The Southern Express take some time to get the crowd amped up as they keep control of the match, with Bunny Love offering encouragement on the sidelines. James is lifted again by Jimmy and again given a big Splash from Bobby. It seems the veteran duo could go all night long with this, but they try to cement the advantage with Bobby going for a pinfall as Adriana indicates she’s not going to break the attempt.
ONE...
TWO...
TH--James gets his shoulder up!
The Southern Express show more shock that Addy really didn’t break up the pin attempt as James realises he’s still on his own. Bobby throws James into the corner, tagging Jimmy in the process as they attempt to keep control of the match. Jimmy delivers a Gut Punch to James before getting on all fours and waiting for Bobby to Dropkick James over him. Bobby goes for the Dropkick but in a flash of inspiration or a lightbulb moment for survival, James is able to fall back and roll to his feet without taking heavy impact from the move. That saving grace gives him the time he needs to make the decision to jump to his tag corner and get Adriana back into the mix. A rattled James appears to get to his tag corner and pick himself up as Jimmy starts to face off against Adriana. Bobby looks to exit the ring to his corner, but James rushes to him and throws him over the top rope before launching himself afterwards!
Watson: Addy’s the legal woman, but that’s a mean statement from James Keaton to just launch himself at Bobby like that.
Sydney: Even more as they’re still fighting outside the ring! James very nearly took the pin so now he’s throwing everything at the Southern Express to see what sticks.
Watson: It’s been a wild ride so far but I think something’s snapped in James Keaton now. He knows he was one second away from losing this, he couldn’t keep the advantage in the ring so now he’s trying to take advantage outside of it!
James starts landing chaotic lefts and rights to Bobby, who fights back valiantly. The referee tells Jimmy and Addy that they have to continue since they’re the legal participants. Both of them watch what’s going on outside the ring before they try to jockey for position against each other. Adriana and Jimmy recognize that the actions of James Keaton won’t be causing a count-out for either side, so they concentrate on each other.
Addy hits a couple of quick kicks to the calf as we cut to James and Bobby. They’re still at it as Bunny Love looks to intervene to try and restore some order, James pushes her hard to the ground and when Bobby drops his guard for a moment James is there to whip him into the barrier and hit a Lariat over the rail. Bunny gets to her feet immediately and appears to think about pursuing James, but Bobby calls out an audible for her to stay ringside. She remains by the ring, dusts herself off and carries on cheering for Jimmy.
Back in the ring, Addy is kicking at range in order to ensure she’s not caught out. She keeps out of poking distance as both her and Jimmy are aware of the outside fight spilling into the crowd. James and Bobby brawl into the crowd, getting further and further away from a clear camera angle until there’s little worth trying to spot them. Back in the ring, Adriana tries another kick but it’s grabbed by Jimmy, who has to immediately duck the attempted Enzuigiri which he does with aplomb. Jimmy watches Addy overshoot the leg and uses it as a chance to ground her, knowing this removes a lot of the game plan of the aerial athlete.
James and Bobby are spotted fighting up a set of stairs, both landing chaotic lefts and rights and looking to get an advantage. James is visibly weakened from earlier but he’s fighting dirtier to stay in the game. Bobby maintains his composure, trying to ensure he can control his opposition and keep an eye out for Jimmy in the ring. He sees what looks like Jimmy in control so he returns to his fight with James. James stamps his foot and grabs Bobby, throwing him into the crowd nearby. There’s plenty of seating room in the arena, but everyone is standing and getting a good view of the action.
Bobby unsticks himself from the crowd and gives them a thumbs up before returning to James. James starts to try to use the railing to his advantage but can’t quite get enough of it. Bobby leaps the stair rail and hits an impromptu Clothesline on James, who reels from the impact. James comes back with some aggression and the pair collide with a Hotdog Clerk who has been offering refreshment to the crowd. Hotdogs, buns, ketchup and mustard fly everywhere as everyone in the immediate vicinity gets covered in mess. James and Bobby clash with each other and bounce off, both landing on some fans with varying effects.
James is pushed away roughly by the fans whilst Bobby lands himself in the lap of what could only be described as the bustiest Southern Express fan in the building. Bobby’s remarkably soft landing allows him to get to his feet without much issue, but he’s pulled back by the fan who’s pushing for more than a moment of his time. She takes the hotdog sausage lodged in her cleavage, looks Bobby dead in the eye and licks the ketchup of the tip. Bobby reacts with a wink and a smile before getting back to facing The Wicked. James and Bobby clash again, and James uses the chance of advantage to push Bobby further away from the ring, limiting his view of the ongoing action between Addy and Jimmy.
Watson: There’s been no rest for The Wicked fighting in the crowd with Bobby so far, and every time it seems to swing in Bobby’s favor James Keaton is pushing it further away from the ring.
Sydney: That’s been his strategy all along! James Keaton told us all that the Southern Express are the best TEAM in wrestling. He’s banking on them not being the best singles wrestlers. There’s order in the chaos right now, James Keaton has isolated Bobby Rose away from the ring and he’s betting all-in on Adriana Aquilla against Jimmy Lane!
It appears that James Keaton may have been right as Adriana has gained a measure of control over time. Her speed and agility have put her in a good position against Jimmy Lane, who is starting to feel the effects of the rapid kicks to his extremities. The crowd are still fully behind Jimmy Lane, which unsettles Addy a bit but not enough to stop her from going all out. She can feel the momentum shifting in her favor now and the knowledge that Bobby Rose and James Keaton are away from the ring has only added more fuel to her fire.
The passionate ‘Lo Divino’ starts to use this momentum in full, maintaining the quick calf kicks that have slowed Jimmy down. She follows with a Snap Suplex. Jimmy gets to his feet but his attempt to slow Addy down is met with a Springboard Clothesline! Addy starts using every part of the ring in her offence, turning the ring into a playground of hurt for the member of the Southern Express. A Standing Moonsault to a grounded Jimmy continues the hurt, followed by Addy delivering a Dropkick to the face. Another Snap Suplex puts Jimmy down, but he rolls out of the ring to avoid the next set of punishment. Bunny Love attends to Jimmy on the outside, offering encouragement. Adriana doesn’t let up however and goes straight into Air Addy! A rocket of a Suicide Dive to the outside! Jimmy is knocked against the barrier, Addy is feeling the effects of her own move and Bobby and James are STILL brawling in the crowd!
Bobby throws James down some stairs, James uses the railing to slow his descent but can’t stop all of it. Bobby keeps up the punishment as both men start to move closer to the ring and further away from the hotdog incident. James hits a European Uppercut but Bobby answers with his own. They keep going at each other with no advantage as we go back to ringside.
Addy is back to her feet first and keeps up the pressure on Jimmy. Bunny Love keeps one eye on what’s happening by her and the other on the crowd brawl as she notices James throwing Bobby down some stairs with force. Things are starting to look cagey now as she can see both members of the Southern Express losing their way in isolation. Jimmy tries to fight back but the Suicide Dive did more damage to him than he cares to admit. Addy is feeling the passion in her veins and the belief in a Miracle in Kansas as she keeps up the offence.
Addy dodges a sloppy punch from Jimmy and uses this to position him on the ropes. She jumps over, then jumps again to land a Sunset Flip for a pin.
ONE...
TWO...
Jimmy kicks out as the two count hits.
Addy can sense it now as she starts digging deep into her repertoire of moves. Jimmy fights back with the strength he can muster but it’s a case of buying time now as Addy is fully invested in her own success at this point. Jimmy pushes Addy off as she attempts to hook for a Suplex, but she rebounds off the ropes and delivers a vicious and pinpoint Shining Wizard to the face. DIVINE WIZARD! Much like the Flying Knee from earlier, this lands flush on the cheek. The Southern Express spent so much time talking about the Wizard of Paramount it’s begun to bite back, Adriana has taken a step on the yellow brick road as she goes for another pin.
ONE...
TWO...
T-KICKOUT! Jimmy musters the courage to keep going as the crowd is fully invested now. James and Bobby are still fighting away from the ring, but they’re almost back to the barrier.
Jimmy doesn’t get up, but Addy soaks up the failure and gets to her feet. She takes a look around the arena and see all the fans invested in the Southern Express, as well as the hardcore ‘Lo Divino’ section in attendance. Adriana can feel it now as she hooks Jimmy Lane, lifts him up and hits her patented Fisherman’s Brainbuster! DIVINE JUDGEMENT! This is her chance to make history! Addy goes for the pin!
ONE...
TWO...
THR--BOBBY ROSE MAKES THE SAVE!!!
Bobby Rose barely makes the save with a Springboard Splash to Adriana, breaking the pin and keeping the Southern Express in the game.
Watson: Bobby Rose with the save! Adriana Aquilla put it all on the line there and just missed out on making history. What a save from Bobby, a prime example of the teamwork they’ve spoken about. When Jimmy Lane needed Bobby Rose to have his back, he came in clutch to keep the reign going!
Sydney: The Southern Express have had each other’s back for decades, that’s not going to end now. But they’re back together in the ring and that could turn things round.
Watson: When they were apart, Adriana Aquilla experienced her closest chance yet of capturing gold in the EWC. But now that Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane are back in the same ring, their spirits are up and The Wicked and The Divine are in disarray.
Jimmy Lane rises to his feet with Bobby Rose acting as a guard. Jimmy is still the legal man but this is rectified as he tags Bobby in. The Southern Express slap each other’s back in a show of solidarity. Bunny Love starts amping up the crowd as Adriana Aquilla makes a tag to James Keaton. Despite her efforts, the expended energy of those moves have had an effect on her as well. The Wicked half of this tag team gets into the ring, sensing that the best chance for victory just went out the window. He shakes his head and stares down the defending tag champs with all the aggression he can muster. His plan to isolate and force the other team into singles competition is now at an end, and there’s no rest for a man who has to look at the brothers-in-arms that are the Southern Express.
Bobby Rose is first to act and doesn’t let up from his brawl outside the ring. However, with the elements of the ring at his disposal he is now able to act more effectively against James Keaton, who struggles to nail Bobby down. Bobby rebounds off the ropes closest to Jimmy and hits a superb Swinging DDT, forcing James’ head to the canvas. James gets up but is caught unaware as Bobby hits a pinpoint Dropkick to the upper back of James, who is again knocked to the ground. Adriana has recovered somewhat and begs for the tag, but Bobby keeps James away from the corner. Jimmy, who has also recovered somewhat, gets the tag and proceeds to unload on James in the corner. The Southern Express get back to their revolving door of tags and strikes, with the crowd cheering them on as they appear to have regained control of the match.
James senses that he’s about to be caught in the whirlwind of attacks again and forces himself out of the corner to tag Adriana in. She rushes out of the corner and tries to make a Hail Mary play by jumping off the ropes and aiming a Springboard Clothesline at Bobby, who is able to get out of the way at the last moment. Addy rolls after the failed attempt right into Jimmy, who immediately punishes her error with a Suplex. The crowd are salivating as the match starts to reach what appears to be a conclusion.
Jimmy signals to Bobby that it’s time to put the match away. Jimmy lifts Addy with relative ease and sends her over to the Southern Express tag corner with a devastating Buckle Bomb as Bobby lifts his leg to hit Addy in the back of the neck. SMASH HIT! Now that’s what I call music!
James tries to get involved at this point, realising the desperation of the situation. He pays no heed to the referee as he enters the ring and tries to stop the Southern Express from doing any more damage. Jimmy cuts James off as he tags Bobby in, making sure that Addy is still on the ground and James isn’t able to enact much change. Bobby and Jimmy stop James in his tracks with a combination of punches and kicks, flooring the intrusion. As James gets to his knees, Bobby and Jimmy grab a hand each in preparation for what comes next. They raise their free hand up and drop it before driving their knees with force into the visage of The Wicked. IN YOUR FACE! And it’s right in James Keaton’s face as he reels from the impact and rolls outside the ring.
Jimmy signals to Bobby to get in position as Bunny Love watches James Keaton reeling on the outside. Jimmy grabs the dazed Adriana Aquilla, lifts her into the Tombstone Piledriver position as Bobby leaps and springboards himself from the ropes. The Spike Tombstone Piledriver is felt around the arena as Addy gets the full force of the finishing move of the Southern Express. GOOD NIGHT WICHITA! James appears to recover only to be met by the face of Bunny Love telling him to look to his left. James is met by the face of Jimmy, who floors him with a perfect right hand. It’s absolutely elementary at this point as Bobby makes the cover on Adriana.
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Starr: And your winner, via pinfall, THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS!Bobby releases the pin as Jimmy enters to celebrate with his tag team partner. Bunny Love gets the Championship belts from ringside and passes them to the still-reigning and defending EWC Tag Team Champions, now assured that they’ll be reaching Day XXX and beyond of this incredible run. An exhausted Adriana Aquilla enters the ring and approaches the Southern Express, she looks at both and nods with an extended hand.
Bobby and Jimmy contemplate it for a moment and then agree wordlessly to shake it at the same time. The crowd cheer the combined efforts of the winning team and the gracious loser in ‘Lo Divino’ as she points to Jimmy, reminding him of how close her pin attempt was earlier in the match. James Keaton is back to his feet by this point and watches the events in the ring with an amount of distaste in his mouth. He huffs, kicking the corner steps and walking away. Tonight is not the night for The Wicked to pick another fight. Addy notices her now presumed ex-tag team partner walking away, they exchange a glance mixed with regret at their missed opportunity and disdain from James’ side to her. Addy shakes it off and leaves the ring, with the Southern Express closing out the final match of the evening just as they started out, on top of the world.
Watson: James Keaton and Adriana Aquilla threw everything they had at the Southern Express tonight, but their efforts haven’t stopped Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane from showing why they’ve had the EWC Tag Team Championships for over a year! The reigning champs go on to the next round with their belts and record intact, whittling down this Super 16 to an eventual Super One.
Sydney: The Southern Express have set up their aim to have the ‘perfect season’ and they’ve put themselves closer to that goal tonight. You have to commend the efforts of ‘Lo Divino’ because she was one second away from putting a full-stop to this incredible run.
Watson: Folks, what an evening we have had so far tonight. We have seen so much action, and its a damn shame we will not be back until After Night of Champions! That's all the time we have for tonight though. I am Tim Watson, this is Cid Sydney. We will see you all next month!

The camera starts to fade before it goes to static and then a shaky camera image appears. it takes a few seconds to stabilize, but we now see EWC HR representative Julia Whelan backstage somewhere in the InTrust Arena. She is on her cell phone, but nothing can be heard. She quickly hangs up as a figure comes into the shot. It is Paramount Wrestling General Manager Chris Brock.
Brock: Julia, can you please send Jake Lumas to my office, I want to have a talk with my old friend.
Julia lets a small silence fall over them before answering.
Whelan: There is no one by that name that works for the EWC Mr. Brock. I don't know anyone named Jake Lumas, and if I did I certainly wouldn't know where to find him. If I were you I wouldn't worry about ever trying to contact someone by that name ever again. If you did, there might be some trouble associated with that attempt.
Brock looks dumbfounded as the camera quickly cuts to black...
