FREE VIEW HYPE SHOW
Written by JFS
Wolfe: Good evening everyone, I’m Patricia Wolfe and welcome all of you to EWC presents: The Night of Champions Freeview show sponsored by Marvel Studios’ Shang Chi & The Legend of the Ten Rings! We are LIVE here inside the Metlife Dome here in Tokorozawa, Japan! We have got all four EWC brands represented tonight in one of our major quad brand pay-per-views and an absolutely amazing line-up of matches for you! Of course you know how it works, we’re gonna cover those matches, catch you up to speed, and give you our ‘expert’ predictions on every one of them! Before we can do that, let’s meet those experts right here on the panel with me! Of course to my left, we have my usual partner in crime Nolan Castle!
Castle: Patty, a pleasure as always to be here breaking down EWC with you. I’m so excited for tonight you can feel the electricity in the air, these EWC fans are ready to see a phenomenal PPV. And so am I!
Wolfe: I’m excited too Nolan! And here to my right, we have the always .. ahem .. lovable, Dwight Snoot. Snoot, how are you doing this evening?
Snoot: I almost thought they had cancelled these stupid things. Ohh well. Here we go again.
Wolfe: Great spirit as always. And your eyes do not deceive you, to his right is our special guest panel member for the evening and what a special guest he is! We’re talking about former Undisputed Champion Jordan Freakin’ Sharpe!
Jordan smiles and waves for the camera.
JFS: Thank you for having me! I may be a healthy scratch for tonight’s show but do you think I would miss this?! Hell no! I’m pumped to break this thing down with you guys. Right Snoop?
Snoot: It’s Snoot.
JFS: Yeah whatever Snook.
Wolfe: Alright well let’s get this started! First we have our opening match for Night of Champions, Rampage has a United States Championship contender match as we’re going to see Tommy Burton go one on one with Josh Gavin. What do you make of this one guys, with a future title shot potentially on the line?
Castle: Well I gotta say Patty, I was damn impressed with Gavin when he took out Hazama. He started out rough on Rampage but after a few tough losses he started pulling it together and he’s done well. He can be a bit goofy but it works!
Snoot: A BIT GOOFY? Are you joking right now Castle? Josh Gavin is an embarrassment to Rampage. Did you see the stupid skit he did at Parabellum? There’s a reason he wasn’t on the team. The man is a joke, and I’ll be happy to see Tommy Burton beat him to within an inch of his life. This is professional wrestling, and Burton is about to make Gavin his prison wife.
JFS: Good lord, Snoot. His prison wife?! See I’m torn here, Tommy Burton is a New Brunswick guy but he’s also kind of a dickhead. Josh Gavin has proven himself capable of winning once in a while, but is that enough to have him take a win when a title shot could be on the line? Could either of these two beat Buzzard anyways? Hard to say.
Castle: I’m still taking Gavin on this one.
Wolfe: Next up we’re heading over to Paramount as the CW Broadcast Title is on the line, with Mercenary being the next up to take on David Miller.
Castle: I think it might be the old dog Mercenary’s time! And here’s why, David Miller had not suffered a single loss on Paramount all season until he ran into this guy --
He points at Jordan.
Castle: And got pinned in the middle of the ring at Paramount 10. That is going to affect Miller mentally, whether he wants to admit that or not. When you go from thinking you’re unbeatable to not winning at Parabellum and then being PINNED on Paramount, it’s gonna mess with you.
JFS: And I’m telling you, Nolan, Miller is tougher than that. Yes, he did get beat on Paramount but I don’t think that means he lays down and dies. Miller is The ‘toughest bastard in the business’ for a reason, I think he does make a statement tonight by taking out Mercenary. As much as I would love to see Merc take a title, I just think Miller has redemption on his mind after that tough loss.
Snoot: Why don’t you just brag some more, Sharpe? Good for you, you beat Miller. He’s out there while you sit on the freeview panel.
JFS: No wonder everyone that comes on here wants to wring your little neck.
Snoot: I don’t care who wins between those two they both suck.
Wolfe: Oooookay well let’s move on from that before we have a match right here on our panel! It’s Brawl’s turn next, as the FX Broadcast Championship is on the line as Nightcall defends against Tyler Bradford.
Snoot: Bradford is finally going to put this pathetic Nightcall out to pasture. THE DAWN HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! NIGHT IS OVER! HAHA!
Castle: Snoot, you’re ridiculous. Nightcall has been defending Effy--
Snoot: What an incredibly stupid name for a title by the way I can’t stand this guy.
Castle: He has defended his Championship multiple times, Bradford has no experience in a big match like this, he’s pretty new to EWC and you think he’s gonna win a title at a quad brand PPV? The guy is a jerk.
Snoot: So what? Jerks get the job done.
JFS: Now hold on there, Snoot. Actually hold on, both of you. Nightcall is incredibly unorthodox in that ring, but he gets the job done. However, Bradford, as big of an asshole as he is, he’s an asshole that wins. But I do wonder if he’s spreading himself too thin trying to win the tag-team titles with Eddie Dozier and the Broadcast title at the same time. If he does manage to pull it off, he’ll be taking down a great champion in Nightcall. Personally I think Nightcall retains. He’s got too much momentum.
Snoot: Shocked that you didn’t brag about beating him too.
JFS: Would you shut up?!
Wolfe: Ohh boy. Next up from Rampage, we have The HBO Broadcast Championship on the line, as The Titaness Samantha Hamilton defends against Iggy Swango.
JFS: Patricia, I gotta question if Iggy is even one hundred percent for this match, mentally and physically. These two both ran through the BORT but Iggy in particular has been in some brutal matches in the past few months with exploding bats, cage matches and other things. She is tenacious, everyone knows that, but Samantha Hamilton will definitely exploit anything she can. I mean, she was able to take down my buddy Gideon Gage.
Snoot: Your buddy? The man you paid to be your friend and you still couldn’t even win with?
Castle: I give you permission to deck him one, Sharpe.
Snoot: I give you permission to kiss my ass Castle!
Castle: Such little boy energy. Anyways, Samantha is gonna be tough to beat here. She’s trying to live up to the precedent that Buzzard set with that Championship and she doesn’t wanna lose that yet so I gotta think the Titaness takes the victory on this one.
Snoot: Finally something smart comes out of your mouth.
JFS: Well to play devil’s advocate, I’m gonna go with Thiccy Swango. There’s magic in the air tonight. Let's see a new champion.
Wolfe: Well gentlemen. That just leaves us with one match. The Insanity Cage match for the EWC Undisputed Championship. Seven Champions. Two from Brawl, two from Rampage, two from Prime and one from Paramount. Stitches, Xavier Reid, Asriel Buzzard, Scorpio, Dio, Marcus St John and our Undisputed Champion, the defending Ace King.
Castle: It’s almost impossible to pick a winner in this. The astronomically tall task of defending your title inside the Insanity Cage against THIS talented group of Champions .. man I can’t imagine what Ace King must feel.
Snoot: I’ll tell you what he feels! PISS! Running down his little legs! I have BEGGED for Ace King to finally lose this championship and I’m finally going to get it tonight. No way is he going to defend his Championship in the cage and the only thing better would be if he went through those tables. Scorpio is my pick. There’s nothing that will stop the Prime Minister from heading back to the top of this business. Or maybe Xavier Reid it was one year ago that he claimed the title at this pay-per-view. Or perhaps it’ll be Stitches taking back what’s his? Getting his revenge on Ace King. I could see it. I really can’t choose between them. No, I must go with Scorpio there’s NO WAY Scorpio is denied tonight.
Castle: Let me throw a name out. Dio. He was impressive, he made it to the final three at Parabellum, he’s got great momentum over on Prime, I could see him taking this one. He’s an underdog, in my opinion but he could do it. Or maybe Asriel Buzzard. What’s he got, like one loss all season? He’s certainly impressive on Rampage, he won the BORT and now he’s got his sights set on the big prize. He could be a lock for wrestler of the year if he takes this one. Then of course, speaking of underdogs, maybe Marcus St. John. He’s a loudmouth but he’s a quick one and maybe he steals one here in Japan and becomes the champ. It’s hard to choose. Every single one of these guys has been phenomenal as of late, and there isn’t anyone that doesn’t have a shot at this thing.
JFS: Take it from me. I have been inside the Insanity Cage. I have been in the ring with every single one of those competitors. There is nothing like stepping inside the Insanity Cage. I thought I was ready in 2019. I was not. When that door shuts and you are in there with the best in this business, it is more than pressure. It can define your whole career. That’s what we have here, seven champions who want nothing more than to be Undisputed. It is going to take grit, guts, heart, skill .. and luck if you’re going to be the one standing with your hand raised. I couldn’t do it, but I know who can. Ace King. If ANYONE is ever going to defend their title inside the Insanity Cage, Ace King is the one to do it. You can doubt him all you want, but I think I’m going to just bet on him. Either way, this is going to be a match talked about in EWC for many years and we’re about to experience an incredible pay-per-view.
Wolfe: Well said Jordan, and experience it pretty soon we shall because if you check your clock you’ll see EWC Night of Champions is coming up NEXT! For Dwight Snoot, Nolan Castle and Jordan Freakin’ Sharpe, I’m Patricia Wolfe and this has been your Night of Champions Freeview Show! Enjoy the PPV everyone! Goodnight!

Fireworks emit outside the MetLife Dome and then all around the ring while a fog machine covers the venue in a red haze! Fans stand up, pumping their fists and raising signs as the camera feed pans to each one of them. One last round of fireworks blast out now, and we turn our attention to Marcus Woo and Valentina Gomez.

Woo: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Japan for one of EWC’s signature Pay-Per-Views, this is EWC Night of Champions!
Gomez: Marcus, this crowd is on fire here tonight I can barely hear myself think! This is awesome!
Woo: I am indeed Marcus Woo, you know my broadcast partner Valentina Gomez we’re here to call ALL of the action as all four brands of the EWC are represented here tonight on a stacked card!
Gomez: The EWC fans in Japan are just as excited as you all are watching from home, they’re ready to get this action underway here shortly. If you thought last year’s Power Struggle match was epic, this year we’re witnessing the return of the INSANITY CAGE!
Woo: A match as feared as it is respected, we’re going to see The X-Division Champion Stitches, The International Champion Xavier Reid, The Showtime Broadcast Champion Scorpio, The Indy Champion Dio, The North American Champion Marcus St. John and The United States Champion Asriel Buzzard try to take the EWC Undisputed Championship away from our Champion, Ace King. Tonight, one of our EWC Champions is going from the top of that third cage all the way through FLAMING TABLES.
Gomez: But that’s not all we have in store for you tonight folks, we have a card full of amazing matches! We have three Broadcast Championship matches happening as Nightcall puts Effy on the line against Tyler Bradford, and we’ll see the HBO Broadcast Championship up for grabs as Samantha Hamilton takes on Iggy Swango. Can Iggy take down the Titaness? That’s gonna be an intense match-up.
Woo: On Top of that we’re also going to see David Miller defend his CW Broadcast Championship in what is sure to be a highly physical match against The Mercenary! And what would Night of Champions be without the EWC Tag-Team Champions? The longest reigning in history by the way, The Southern Express, are going to be here tonight for a special presentation!
Gomez: And first up tonight in our opening contest, Rampage is going to crown a number one contender for the United States Championship as Josh Gavin goes one on one with Tommy Burton! But before we get to that and all of your EWC action, let’s get a word in from EWC TV!
The fans continue to chant and cheer as we fade to a brief word from EWCTV.

The feed transitions to the concourse of MetLife Dome’s left field bleachers, where Ace Heart stands with his back to the reconfigured stadium floor.
Ace Heart: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is the man with the single biggest target on his back tonight… The Undisputed Champion of the Extreme Wrestling Corporation, Ace King.
The crowd gathered around him politely applauds as the Undisputed Champion comes up the stairwell of the section below, his hands casually outstretched for fans every step of the way. He eventually joins Heart, propping his championship up over his shoulder.
Ace Heart: Ace, where are your emotions as you step into the Insanity Cage for the third time in your career, with your Undisputed Championship once again at stake?
The Undisputed Champion pauses, appearing to be deep in thought before slowly turning his attention over to Heart.
Ace King: Honestly? I don’t know. The Insanity Cage… It never fails to bring things out of people nobody knew existed, for better or for worse. I’ve gotten to the top cage both times I’ve been in it so far, but haven’t gotten to the final step. I don’t know if there’s a more primal instinct I’ve needed in those situations or what, but what I know, and what the six monsters trying to take this championship should understand loud and clear, is that there’s absolutely no stone I will leave unturned in the name of keeping this in my possession. The Insanity Cage is basically the only thing I haven’t conquered in my EWC career, and it’s no secret that it’s torn at me for years, but I’m ready to tear, scratch, claw, maim, whatever I have to do to remain the Undisputed Champion.
Ace Heart: Understandable. Now, after Parabellum, you were called out by Melody Malone, who eviscerated you for your Brand Warfare match performance and implored you-
King puts a hand up, raising an eyebrow as a thin smirk crosses his face.
Ace King: You don’t need to remind me of what she said in the name of keeping her face out there. She is, after all, the woman who’s supposedly got her fingerprints on EVERYTHING… Except, you know, a place in the Insanity Cage, or a match of any kind on tonight’s show.
The normally reserved Japanese crowd buzzes as the Undisputed Champion’s expression turns more serious.
Ace King: Look, I don’t need anybody else to tell me what I need to do tonight, ESPECIALLY when those people have no fucking idea what goes into something like this. I don’t need to be reminded of the history working against me going into tonight… but I’ve spent my entire EWC career rewriting history books, and tonight? The Kingpin adds another chapter. Bet On It.
With that, Ace slowly turns on his heel and heads back down the steps toward the backstage area, quickly disappearing into the masses and leaving Heart’s microphone hanging as we cut to ringside for our first match of the night

We return to ringside where Marcus Woo and Valentina Gomez are standing by!
Woo: Ace King making a statement to his opponents ahead of the big Insanity Cage main event later tonight! With that, we kick off the in-ring action at Night of Champions with a singles match between two up and coming talents on Rampage, as Tommy Burton takes on Josh Gavin! We'll see one of these two gain some much-needed momentum in the rankings, but who will it be?
Gomez: Gavin already sits at number one in the rankings for the United States Championship, but a win over Burton tonight would cement that he's ready to take on Asriel Buzzard for the title! On the flip side, Burton would love nothing more than to knock Josh off that perch!
Dobrev: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, from New Brunswick, Canada, weighing in at 209 pounds, the Inmate ... TOMMY BURTON!
The drum beat. The scream of the guitar… The unmistakable sound of Nirvana.
As the lights dim slightly, the orange strobe of the lower stage lights strobe over the hooded man walking out. His hardened jaw. His mouthguard. His taped hands clenched hard as he makes his way down to the ring.
As the Scentless Apprentice plays, and the lights come up, we see Tommy Burton pull back his hood and remove his Club jacket. His eyes wide… crazy looking. His young body looking battle ready, and somehow already battle worn at the same time. He’s looking at nothing it seems, as always just… staring. In moments he knows, and the fans are about to know… his eyes will fill with determination, and even deeper behind that… rage. Controlled rage. Barely controlled rage.
As the music starts to lower, and Tommy removes his hoodie and drops it to the mat, he clenches his hands together… the words “let’s fuckin do this” is barely heard behind his mouth guard…
Dobrev: And his opponent, also hailing from New Brunswick, Canada, weighing in at 245 pounds, the Harbinger of Destruction ... JOSH GAVIN!
"GIVE ME FUEL, GIVE ME FIRE, GIVE ME THAT WHICH I DESIRE!"
"Fuel" by Metallica blares through the loudspeakers to the delight of the crowd, as The "Harbinger of Destruction" Josh Gavin makes his way out at the exact moment as Fuel’s chorus hits. Gavin raises his arms side to side and looses a war cry as fire shoots from both sides of the ramp. A line of fire dots the sides of the ramp as Gavin walks through, his expression serious, filled to the brim with unwavering determination as he stares straight forward.
Gavin takes a breath to settle himself as he eagerly climbs up the steps, stepping onto the ring apron as his expression changes. Filled with passion, Gavin pumps up the crowd and eggs them on to give him as loud a reaction as they can, before stepping into the ring.
Grinning cheekily a moment, Gavin climbs the top rope and points out to the crowd, before holding out his arms side to side to pose. Hopping down, Gavin climbs onto the opposing turnbuckle to make sure that the entire arena gets their fill.
Woo: And here we go, folks!
DING DING DING
Josh tries to get a feeling-out process at the start, but Burton isn't having any of it as he wears the bigger man down with some hard strikes before sending him into the corner with an Irish whip, followed by a running knee to the abdomen! That took a bit out of Gavin as Burton continues the attack with some hard palm strikes to the head and upper body of the Harbinger of Destruction, before he falls to one knee. This seems to give Burton just the opening he craves as he hits a kick to the chest! And another! And...NO! Gavin grabs the leg on that last kick, taking Burton to the canvas in the process!
Gavin gets back to his feet, telling Burton to get up as well...to which the Inmate eventually obliges, only to charge at Gavin...who clocks him with a frenzy clothesline! Gavin is able to catch his breath with this small break in the action as he picks Burton back up, sending him right into the corner with a hard Irish whip, the force bringing Burton down to the canvas facing his opponent! Now it's Gavin who senses an opportunity as he runs toward the corner, hitting a cannonball on the Inmate as the crowd cheers!
Woo: Wow, look at the impact on that cannonball! Burton looks like he could be down and out!
Gomez: Tommy's gonna need to get it together and quick if he wants to win this one!
Gavin gets back to his feet as he sees Burton coming to, picking him up before putting him on the turnbuckle. Gavin with a couple hard punches, only for Burton to evade the last of them before leaving the ring! Gavin follows close behind, only to take a sneak attack by Burton who wallops him with a forearm to the skull. This rattles Gavin just long enough for the Inmate to grab him, sending him into the barricade with an Irish whip as the crowd show their disapproval! The ref begins the count now as Burton continues his attack.
ONE...
TWO...
THREE...
Gavin manages to get back to his feet, only to be sent OVER the barricade with a clothesline by Burton! The crowd scatters to stay out of the way as Burton hops over, stomping away at the Harbinger of Destruction!
FOUR...
FIVE...
SIX...
Burton realizes the situation he's in, quickly slinking away to get back in the ring as Gavin slowly gets to his feet. He climbs over the barricade, falling to his feet much to the delight of the Inmate.
SEVEN...
EIGHT...
The crowd will Gavin to gather his strength back up as he rises to his feet once more, lunging onto the apron to roll into the ring and break the count!
Woo: Tommy Burton nearly getting a countout victory tonight, but Gavin's still got plenty of fight left in him!
Gomez: Looks like the Inmate is gonna have to figure out a new strategy to put him away, Marcus!
Burton can't believe it as he lays into Gavin with some forearms to keep the big man down...but Gavin is building a vertical base, fending off the attack before slamming a right hand on the Inmate! He keeps up with some lefts and rights before connecting with a nasty European uppercut that sends Burton to the ropes...and hits a running forearm on a rebounding Inmate! Gavin quickly follows up with a leg-trap exploder suplex, sending Burton down hard to the canvas before going for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
NO! BURTON KICKS OUT!
Gavin can't help but let out a sigh as he gets back to his feet, waiting for Burton to stand as well. When he does, the Inmate gets hoisted up by Gavin who looks to connect with the Burning Impact...but the Inmate makes a great escape, slipping out of the Harbinger's grip! He's going for a spinning back elbow to end things! CHIN CHECK! Gavin is down and out, but Burton is struggling to capitalize!
Woo: Gavin took a lot out of Burton and the signs are showing!
Gomez: He's gotta dig in deep now!
The ref checks on both men, neither of whom are moving much leaving him no choice but to begin the count!
ONE...
TWO...
We see Burton stirring again, slowly trying to get back to his feet as the crowd boo before chanting for Gavin.
THREE...
Gavin is finally stirring as well, visibly trying to shake off the effects of that Chin Check as the crowd cheer him on.
FOUR...
Burton gets to one knee, looking a little wobbly.
FIVE...
SIX...
Gavin turns over to his stomach, quickly trying to build a vertical base.
SEVEN...
Burton is finally back to his feet, and so is Gavin! The crowd is cheering on the Harbinger as he and Burton start trading lefts and rights, trying to see who will fall first...and it's Burton, who tries to hit another Chin Check to no avail! INFERNO CUTTER OUTTA NOWHERE! Burton is down and out as Gavin goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Dobrev: And your winner, via pinfall... JOSH GAVIN!
The crowd give a big pop as the ref raises Gavin's arm in victory, before we cut to Marcus and Valentina at commentary!
Woo: What a match to kick us off! Both men really giving it their all in this opening bout, but Gavin just manages to pick up the win.
Gomez: Tommy showed a lotta tenacity out there Marcus, and you know that he's gonna look to bounce back sooner rather than later!
Woo: A fair point, but it seems Josh Gavin's eyes are firmly set on challenging Asriel Buzzard in the near future for the United States Championship!
Gomez: It'll be interesting to see Asriel's mindset going into that match, especially if he manages to win the Undisputed Championship in our main event! Speaking of championships, we are just moments away from the first of three championship matches as David Miller looks to defend his CW Broadcast Championship against Mercenary!
Camera cuts to a quick replay of how our opening bout came to a conclusion, followed by a short hype package for the Insanity Cage later tonight, where seven champions walk in but only one will walk out as the Undisputed Champion!

Coming back from the video package, we return to ringside as the crew makes final preparations for the next match. The crowd is absolutely ecstatic to see even more wrestling. We cut to commentary while the ring is getting last minute inspections.
Woo: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen! We just finished seeing quite the heated brawl between Friday Night Rampage stars Josh Gavin and Tommy Burton. What a start to a no doubt historical evening!
Gomez: And now, things are about to get even more intense! With the world just having recently seen David Miller suffer a loss throughout this whole season, will it happen again and result in Mercenary finally holding EWC gold? Or will Miller find a way to retain? Let’s find out. Take us away, Dobrev!
Dobrev: The following match is for one fall, and it is for the CW Broadcast Championship! now hailing from West Oakland California He is the EWC Outlaw. He is: ... MERCENARY!

A masked Mercenary stalks slowly out to stand on the stage. Dressed all in black he looms like a menacing statue as smoke rolls in and the lights flash lightening strikes all around him. Slowly he pulls the leather mask off to reveal his focused eyes and granite features. Crossing his arms across his chest he lashes out of the crossbones pose, cutting through the smoke with the blades of his hands and unleashing a battle cry as he makes his way down the ramp to the ring.
The lights of the MetLife Dome fall low without warning. Seconds pass in silence, before a single tone bleeds through the speakers, leading into a hard, pounding cadence that echoes throughout the arena. Black and white video-clips begin to play in time with the beat, showing Miller shadow boxing in an empty ring, competing in past matches, or glaring into the camera from various angles. As the music reaches a raucous crescendo, becoming the metal chords of Damnation Plan's “Judgement Day,” the lights return in violent, pulsating strobes, driving the crowd into a frenzy as video clips of Miller play in a smash cut montage on the X-Tron. David Miller marches out from behind the curtain, head bowed, fists clenched, the sight of him drawing even more fervor from the fans. Coming to a stop at the center of the stage, he lifts his head and stares down at his opponent with an intense, singular focus. Giving a sudden twist to pop the bones in his neck, he starts down the ramp at a slow, methodical pace.
Dobrev: Now making his way to the ring, from Long Beach, California. Weighing two hundred, thirty-five pounds ... DAVID MILLER!
Reaching the floor, Miller stalks the inside of the guardrail and slowly circles around to the ring steps, pausing and rolling the joints in his shoulders loose as well as shaking out his arms. Suddenly erupting into motion, he charges up the steps and ducks between the ropes, immediately crossing to the far corner and pulling himself up onto the second buckle, staring down into the ravenous fans below. Snapping his hands up, Miller tears the hood back to expose his stony expression, prompting an even louder reaction from the crowd in equal measures of love and hate. All of it serves to earn a smirk from Miller, but little else, as he defiantly crosses his arms and stares out into the sea of humanity. Stepping down to the canvas, he turns and reaches back to peel off the jacket, casually balling it up before tossing it outside to a crewman and turning to face the stage, waiting.
Woo: New champion or not, we definitely are about to witness a potential show-stealing fight. Here we go!
DING DING DING
The two waste little time in meeting up and locking up. For once, we see Miller against someone taller and stronger than him. He realizes this when Mercenary starts using his weight advantage to begin pushing him back. Grimacing, Miller kicks at Mercenary’s shin, only to find it does little more than make the challenger wince. But not let go, like he was clearly hoping to achieve.
Miller tries to pull away, but EWC’s Outlaw tightens his grips and ensures their hands remain intertwined. Merc uses his strength and the fact the hold is maintained to hoist Miller up onto his shoulders. He starts to slam him down for a Death Valley Driver, but before he can finish, Miller’s knee lands hard in the side of Mercenary’s neck, forcing him to let go of the champion.
The two lift their heads to look at one another, both wearing a stern and serious expression. Miller is the first to run forward as he musters enough strength to lift Merc up and bring him down with a Snap Suplex. While he’s slamming Mercenary down towards the mat, however, we see the EWC Outlaw headbutt Miller.
Both men are down once again, and are steadily working on getting back up to their feet!
Woo: These two have really laid into each other in the early going!
Gomez: It's a big opportunity for Merc to finally dethrone Miller, and for Miller to finally shut the Merc's mouth!
David forces himself up in hopes of gaining the advantage. He manages to straddle Mercenary’s midsection and get a few good, stiff rights and lefts punched down, but Merc is still very much in this match. Evidenced by him roughly pushing Miller off, causing the champion to roll at least twice just from sheer size and strength difference.
Now Mercenary takes his turn to go on the offense. He charges forward and delivers a Roaring Elbow Strike straight to Miller’s throat! He tries to take advantage of the surprise attack and covers Miller!
ONE!
TW -- Nope, not quite! Miller gets a shoulder up, much to Mercenary’s slight annoyance. The EWC Outlaw moves away, allowing Miller to regain his footing and composure. But once he’s regained those, Mercenary throws Miller against the ropes, looking to slam one of his boots straight into the champ’s sternum.
This time, however, Miller is more prepared and right before Merc can hoist David up, the champ counters with a Pumphandle Slam, thrusting Merc hard against the canvas. He goes for a cover, but gets his own two count.
Woo: A couple close calls here, as each man is looking to put this match away!
Gomez: Pretty soon it's gonna boil down to who wants it more, Marcus!
Miller is slowly stalking around Mercenary while The Hitman gets back up. The Champ is trying to find the best way to put another challenger down and away, but is seeing this may very well be the toughest opponent to date. Miller grits his teeth at that realization, but his resolve doesn’t dare begin to fade.
If anything, it fuels him to do one of the things he’s best at; keep fighting.
Miller backs up towards the set of ropes behind, using them to launch himself towards the challenger with a Slingshot Plancha. Although Mercenary does stumble back, he also CATCHES David in the process! He keeps a firm hold on the champion as he sees an opportunity and brings him down onto the canvas with a Vertical Brainbuster!
Before Mercenary can even attempt to cover or hook a leg, Miller slams his knee straight into The Street Dog’s jaw!
Woo: Ouch, that looked nasty! Miller showing he's still got a lot of fight left in him!
Gomez: Uh oh, it looks like he may well be wearing Merc a bit thin!
We can see that Merc is still very much hurting. Even still, he pushes himself on, not wanting to allow Miller too many opportunities to turn this fight around. He finds Miller right up in his face. David throws a brutal punch that slams hard into Merc’s sternum, but Mercenary still begins lifting David up. That results in yet another punch being thrown, this one for Mercenary’s shoulder.
Mercenary tries to keep his stubborn stance as he continues lifting Miller up.
Another kick to the side of his head, however, forces Mercenary to let go, this time backing away as he rubs the area slightly. David smells blood - literally and metaphorically - as the camera does reveal droplets of blood falling down Merc’s temple.
He begins mercilessly chopping at Merc’s chest! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI -- Mercenary is finally able to stop the assault as he grabs Miller’s arms and tosses him down towards the canvas! Merc then proceeds to lock in a Sharpshooter submission! The referee asks if Miller wants to give up, and he growls in response while shaking his head no!
Upon seeing and hearing this, Merc twists harder on Miller’s legs, trying to force him into tapping! Miller looks torn between wanting to give up and wanting to keep fighting!
Woo: Mercenary is wrenching those legs tight, Valentina! Is the champ going to submit?
Gomez: David is really digging in deep to fight the pain he's in, Marcus!
Just when it looks as if he’s about to slam his hand down, Miller musters every ounce of strength to grab onto one of the ropes. The ref points it out to Mercenary, who reluctantly lets go. Miller stands up, albeit very shakily, and glares a hole through Mercenary … who simply returns the gesture.
Miller yanks Mercenary forward, spinning him around so Merc’s back is facing Miller. Hangman’s Neckbreaker! And just for good measure, Miller kicks Mercenary in the ribs before going for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE -- !!! NO!!!
Mercenary refuses to go down as he gets a shoulder up. Miller lets out a frustrated growl as he forces Mercenary back up to his feet and puts his head in position for The Tragic Truth. It lands flush!
Miller hooks both legs!
ONE!
TWO!!

DING DING DING
Dobrev: And your winner, via pinfall and STILL CW BROADCAST CHAMPION DAVID MILLER!
Medics come out and begin checking up on Mercenary. They help the challenger get to the back while David stands in the center of the ring, holding the CW Broadcast Championship high up in the air!
Woo: What a match we just witnessed! Mercenary got so damned close, but tonight just wasn’t his night!
Gomez: You can damn well believe that Mercenary will find a way to earn any of these straps though. With the display and fight we just saw him give Miller? There’s no way he won’t be holding gold; it just wasn’t meant to happen tonight.
Woo: Very much agreed, Valentina. You can't help but wonder what's next for Miller as he continues a path of dominance in this division.
Gomez: He's still got a tough match ahead of him at Paramount 11 when he takes on Killjoy Ito in non-title action! Folks, up next we'll be seeing Tyler Bradford take on a very game Nightcall with the FX Broadcast Championship on the line, but first we're taking it backstage where Pepper Montana is standing by!
We cut away from commentary to see what Pepper is up to backstage ...

The cameras cut to the back where "The Bitch of Brawl" Hazel Overton is standing next to her publicist Ashley Jonas. The two ladies are in a very deep conversation as Pepper Montana can be seen making his way over towards them.
Pepper: Excuse me ladies, I don't mean to interrupt.....
Ashley turns her head while looking him up and down.
Ashley: Yet, that's exactly what you are doing isn't it.
Pepper: I assure you that my being here is strictly business.
Ashley: Yeah, sure it is. You see Hazel Overton standing here while Nightcall is still walking around with something that would look so much better on her. Instead of getting her rightful rematch, she has been delegated to facing inferior talent.
Pepper glances over at Hazel who locks eye with the young analyst.
Hazel: Is there a reason you are eye fucking me right now?
Pepper: It's not intentional, I promise you that much.....
Hazel: I don't give two shits what you have to say. Nightcall has something I want and no one is going to take it from him but me. Do you got that? He should know that we have unfinished business and trust me. I don't let things go easily. That FX Broadcast Championship will soon be mine.
Ashley: We are done here.
Ashley places her hand on Hazel's lower back as they walk out of the camera shot. Pepper Montana is left with his jaw dropped to the floor as the cameras cut away back to ringside for our next match.

We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Woo: What a statement from Hazel Overton! She's got her eyes firmly on the FX Broadcast Championship, which we're about to see contested as Tyler Bradford looks to dethrone Nightcall!
Gomez: This is gonna be absolute bonkers, Marcus...one might even say it'll be gonzo!
Dobrev: The following match is for the FX Broadcast Championship! Introducing first, he is the challenger, from Miami Beach, Florida, weighing in at 223 lbs ... TYLER BRADFORD!
"Iconic" by Jaxon Gamble starts to play throughout the arena as the crowd lets out a chorus of boos. Tyler Bradford walks out onto the stage with a smug grin on his face, then marches down the ramp, eventually making his way into the ring.
Dobrev: And his opponent, from Oceanside, California, weighing in at 205lbs, he is the FX Broadcast Champion ... NIGHTCALL!
Smoke billows on all sides of the ramp until it covers the X-tron itself. The name NIGHTCALL shines through the fog in a brilliant pink neon. It dissipates until it's replaced with THE MAD LAD adorned in yellow. Decked out in a red jacket, sunglasses, and clutching Effie tucked safely in his arm, the determined Nightcall struts down the runway and rolls into the ring. He hands his title to an official and stops dead-center of the ring. He gives the camera a grin and smacks his face, getting himself in the game.
Woo: This could one heck of a contest, folks!
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings, both men meet in the center of the ring and start to duke it out, trading punches between each other as the crowd lets out a roar of cheers. Nightcall manages to get the upper hand, landing a fairly stiff uppercut that dazes Tyler enough to make him stumble back to the ropes. Nightcall then leaps up onto the middle rope, bringing his knee up into Tyler's chin, then grabs Tyler by the head and brings him down to the mat with a springboard bulldog!
Nightcall then wastes no time as he wraps both of his arms under Tyler's, hoists him up from the mat and then plants him with a double underhook suplex! Nightcall then covers Tyler and hooks the leg!
On-NO! Tyler kicks out before the referee's hand even touches the mat! Nightcall looks back at Tyler, who is now sitting up and looking very annoyed.
Woo: He's pissed now.
Gomez: Going for a pinfall this early is nothing more than an insult to Bradford!
Nightcall reaches forward and attempts to grab Tyler by the head, but Tyler smashes his forearm against Nightcall's face, knocking him away! Tyler gets to his feet and charges at Nightcall, throwing all of his weight into him to crash him into the turnbuckle!
Tyler then presses his body up against Nightcall and starts throwing stiff shots into his abdomen repeatedly, until the referee begins the disqualification count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Tyler throws his hands up in the air before the referee can hit five, then slowly backs away with a cocky grin etched across his face. Nightcall attempts to recover in the corner peacefully, but Tyler gives him no time as he blows past the referee and nails Nightcall in the gut with a low dropkick! Tyler then drags Nightcall from the corner, covers him, and hooks both legs!
ONE!
TW- KICKOUT!
Woo: And he powers out!
Gomez: I have to admire the smart wrestling of Bradford, he's not breaking the rules just using them to his advantage.
Tyler quickly gets to his feet and argues with the ref that they counted slow. The referee ensures Tyler that the count was correct, but Tyler still gets in his face and screams "DO YOUR JOB" at you. As Tyler is distracted, Nightcall manages to slip underneath him and rolls him with a surprise roll-up pin!
ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!
Tyler kicks out and quickly recollects himself, only to be greeted by a seated enziguri from Nightcall, dropping Tyler back to the mat! Nightcall jumps back onto the attack immediately after as he holds onto Tyler's head and begins to drive his knee into it over and over again, but Tyler manages to keep his arms up so the shots aren't as effective as they could be!
Nightcall then pulls Tyler up to his feet and whips him into the ropes, catching him on the rebound and planting him with a thunderous sidewalk slam! Nightcall quickly throws himself over Tyler and begins to rain punches down onto the challenger's head!
Nightcall then rolls Tyler over onto him, manages to get his arms twisted up with his, and then locks in a cobra clutch. Tyler thrashes around, trying to escape the hold, but Nightcall just locks it in tighter!
Woo: Reminds me of my ex. They were clingy, too.
Gomez: Erm... yeah. In the ring Bradford's face is a beet red.
Nightcall manages to squeeze the hold for what seems like an eternity, and Tyler begins to fade. The struggling begins to slow and a smile crawls across Nightcall's face … but then Tyler manages to throw his leg weight to the side, catching his foot on the bottom rope, breaking the hold! Nightcall looks shocked and refuses to break the hold!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FO- He releases at four!
Nightcall gets to his feet and raises his hands as he backs away from the referee, who is now lecturing the champion about nearly getting disqualified. Nightcall apologizes to the referee, then makes his way back to Tyler … but Tyler manages to hit a leg sweep, tripping Nightcall up, thus making him fall throat first into the top rope!
Nightcall drops to the mat while holding his throat, but Tyler wastes no time as he leaps onto Nightcall and ferociously slams the point of his elbow into Nightcall's forehead, eventually busting him open! Tyler laughs at the sight of his dirty work, then picks Nightcall up by the head and sneakily manages to gouge at Nightcall's eye with his thumb before throwing him into a turnbuckle!
Tyler rushes the turnbuckle and strikes Nightcall with a wicked European uppercut, then pulls himself back before lunging forward with a superkick that damn near takes Nightcall's head off as he goes flying over the top rope and down to the floor below!
Woo: Good a time as any to mention the next time we're on pay per view will be The Rumble. Had this been The Rumble, Nightcall's evening would be over after that kick!
Gomez: It still might but Bradford needs to get him back into the ring if he wants to win the championship, Marcus!
Tyler stands in the center of the ring and poses for a moment, getting showered with a chorus of boos from the crowd. On the outside, Nightcall is picking himself up with help from the barricade, shaking the cobwebs from the brutal attack he had just encountered moments ago. Tyler then sees Nightcall recovering, so he rolls to the outside of the ring and struts with a cocky stride over toward Nightcall. Tyler then picks Nightcall’s face up by the chin and trash talks him a bit, but then Nightcall headbutts him in the chin!
Tyler stumbles back, dazed by the headbutt temporarily. Nightcall looks to the crowd as they cheer him on, which fires him up wildly. Nightcall then reaches into the crowd, grabbing a beer bottle from a nearby fan, and then looks to Tyler with a wild look in his eyes …
Tyler starts to back away, holding his hands up, begging Nightcall not to hit him with the bottle, but before Nightcall can do anything Tyler rolls back into the ring. Nightcall just stares daggers into Tyler for a moment … but then smashes the beer bottle over his own head!!
Woo: I see someone is having a smashing time.
Gomez: How do you hurt a man that does THAT to himself?
Nightcall slides into the ring and takes Tyler down to the mat, laying stiff shots into Tyler’s ribs and kidneys. Nightcall then kips up, grabs Tyler by the hair, and picks him up from the mat, eventually chucking him into the turnbuckle. Nightcall then looks to Tyler, then down at his own hand for a moment … before spraying the pink mist onto his own hand!! Nightcall then rushes forward and nails Tyler with a superman punch in the corner!
Woo: The temptation is strong to call that a Pink Punch!
Gomez: He spiked him with it!
Nightcall pulls Tyler’s head under his arm and attempts to lift him up for the 1986, but Tyler manages to elbow him in the gut! Nightcall stumbles back as Tyler adjusts himself, wiping some of the pink mist off from his face. Tyler then rushes forward and kicks Nightcall in the gut, knocking him down to his knees on the mat. Tyler then rushes forward, driving his boot into the side of Nightcall’s head with the Penalty Kick!! Tyler goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
THR- NO! Kick Out at the last second!
Tyler wastes no time, not allowing Nightcall any room to breathe as he grabs him by the arms, then starts to stomp down onto Nightcall’s face over and over again. The referee eventually pulls Tyler away and pushes him into the corner, then goes to check on Nightcall. Nightcall insists that he is good to go, but then Tyler rushes forward at him once again …
But Nightcall manages to trip Tyler up, making him fall face first into the top turnbuckle! Nightcall grabs Tyler from behind then quickly plants him with the 1986, going for the win!!
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-- NO! TYLER KICKS OUT!
Woo: Any closer and the bell would be ringing!
Gomez: After that, Bradford's bell IS ringing!
Nightcall looks to the referee in shock, then back down to Tyler who is slowly sitting back up. Nightcall matches Tyler’s pace, watching him very closely as he gets to his feet. Tyler then suddenly thrusts his foot forward, superkicking Nightcall in the jaw! Nightcall starts to fall forward, but Tyler crouches down and catches him with both hands, then hoisting him up in the air for a gorilla press slam position … then throws Nightcall up and catches him with a pele kick, completing the Witness Me maneuver!!
Tyler looks down at the nearly unconscious Nightcall, then collapses onto him, hooking both legs for the win!

Dobrev: Here is your winner via pinfall and the NEW! FX BROADCAST CHAMPION! TYLER BRADFORD!
Tyler gets to his feet and grabs the championship out of the referee's hands. Tyler looks at the championship in his hands for a moment before raising it into the air as boos rain down on him.
Woo: What a match this was! Both men really giving everything they had here to see who would leave as the FX Broadcast Champion!
Gomez: Nightcall came close, you and I said as much but this night belongs to Tyler Bradford!
Woo: The crowd here don't seem to like their new champion one bit, but you can tell that Tyler doesn't care about that one bit as he keeps gloating over the win!
Gomez: I think the title change could be a turning point on the red brand! Speaking of champions, it seems as though the International Champion has something to say backstage!
We cut away from ringside to see what the champ is up to...

The camera cuts backstage to Xavier Reid, with a smirk on his face.
Reid: Here we are once again, at Night of Champions...for me my THIRD time in the Main Event and the SECOND time stepping inside the Insanity Cage…
Xavier holds his hand up, signaling these numbers for emphasis.
Reid: Last year I came into the Power Struggle match and nobody was talking about me, nobody saw me as a real threat...it was all about Scorpio, about Ace King...people asking was this Jordan Sharpe’s time or maybe Samantha Hamilton...I was an afterthought and I shocked the world...I walked out the Undisputed Champion and nobody could believe it…
From behind Xavier steps ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love, a smirk on his face as well.
Love: I could believe it, see we like being in the shadows, we like nobody talking about us, expecting us to do anything...it makes it all that much sweeter when we we sneak up and take it all...it’s like that unexpected finger you never see coming…
Tommy winks as Xavier just moves on.
Reid: This year’s Night of Champions is no different, it’s all about Ace King and can he become the first champion to walk in the Undisputed Champion and then walk out with the championship...it’s about Scorpio and his quest to win back a championship that he believes was STOLEN from him, it’s about the new blood, Asriel Buzzard, the winner of the BORT and new US Champion, can he take the next step and continue his amazing year or maybe it will be our new North American Champion Marcu$ $t. James, money can’t make him the Undisputed Champion but his drive can...we’ve seen him take the leap this year, can it continue tonight or maybe it will be Dio, fresh off a win over Ace King and full of confidence...is it his time to take the next step and bring back the Undisputed Championship to Prime...or maybe we will see Stitches win back the biggest prize in the EWC, to continue this run that was interrupted at StrangleMania...they say you have to be crazy to step inside this cage and NOBODY has ever said the Clown is sane…
Xavier shrugs.
Reid: As for me...why would anyone give me a chance right...it’s not like I’ve been lighting it up this season...but all it takes is one moment, one chance to toss another bastard off the top of the cage and my season flips right around...I know what it’s like to be standing at the end of Night of Champions and NOBODY else in this match can say that...I have the greatest set of managers at my fingertips…
Buddy and Bunny Love walk into frame next to their father Tommy.
Reid: I’m the last person ANYONE wants to see win, I’m the last person ANYONE wants to see as the Undisputed Champion and it’s that hate that pushes me...that drives me...that will make me climb to the top of the third cage and toss one of these bastards off, send them flying downward towards their own fiery demise...I’m here to show last year was not a fluke...I’m here to once again be the EWC Undisputed Champion…
Xavier smiles as the camera fades out, giving us a chance to go back to ringside.

SPECIAL CEREMONY TO HONOR
EWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS
ON THEIR RECORD BREAKING ACHIEVEMENTS
EWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS
THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS
ON THEIR RECORD BREAKING ACHIEVEMENTS
We return ringside where EWC President, Danny Mac and Paramount General Manager, Chris Brock, are already ringside. The fans are cheering and chanting in excitement.
Mac: Thank you for that warm welcome. Chris and I are very excited to be here tonight, at Night of Champions, to honor a tag team that has surpassed all expectations and continues to set and raise the bar for what a tag team should be, not just here in the EWC but in all of professional wrestling. When The Southern Express wake up tomorrow, they will have been EWC World Tag Team Champions for an unbelievable four hundred days. FOUR HUNDRED. Let that sink in for a moment.
The fans begin to cheer at that milestone
Mac: They have successfully defended time and time again, solidifying their place in our history books. They might not live to see Five Hundred .. Mac laughs looking over at Chris who smirks also .. But they will live on in the EWC forever. When you think of the longest reigns in EWC history, you think of people like Shadow Man and his Hardcore Championship reign, Ace King and his United States Championship reign, Xplode and his EWC Undisputed Championship reign .. and now right there with them, you have The Southern Express. What they have done, has given a revitalization to the Tag Team Division. They have carried it on their backs, which might explain the walkers .. kidding .. I'm kidding .. it's been truly an honor to sit back and watch as every Tag Team title record has fallen to The Southern Express, and if this Tag Team Tournament we have going on is any indication, they are showing no signs of slowing down.
Mac steps back to allow Chris a chance to add some thoughts
Brock: We are here tonight because we are celebrating one of the greatest accomplishments in EWC history. Something that we never expected to see, but records are meant to be broken and these men have certainly gone above and beyond to prove EVERYONE wrong. They've broken records set by The Moors Murders and the late Xplode. They currently sit as the 2nd longest title reign in EWC HISTORY behind Ace King's 777 day run as United States Champion... And they aren't done yet! I could not be more proud to call these men members of my roster on Paramount! The bar is set incredibly high for anyone that can take those championships from them! Tonight, we celebrate the absolute spectacle that are... The Southern Express!!!
Mac: Perfectly said Chris. Friends, please join us in welcoming The Southern Express to the ring, while a special montage plays on the X-Tron in their honor ..
Mac points to the X-Tron for the Montage
‘Stranglehold’ plays out inside the MetLife Done and the fans go crazy as Bunny Love walks out onto the stage and she’s followed by Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane, The Southern Express. Both members play it up for the Tokorozawa fans as Bunny holds up both EWC Tag Team Championships. The trio head towards the ring tossing out t-shirts that read: I Was There For Day Number 400. They make their way ringside and they climb up the steps and into the ring. The three make their way to Paramount GM Chris Brock first and shake his hand and then to EWC Owner & President Mac and each give him one of those Roger Goodell Draft Day Hugs. They are handed a microphone and the stage by the two men.
Rose: NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS BABY!!!!
The fans cheer for the cheap plug
Lane: And I know, you all came to see the hardest working champions in the EWC but these two nice men gave us the night off to celebrate our historic achievement
Love: FIVE championship defenses this season, EIGHT MVP’s, we’ve beaten the Undisputed Champion, the International Champion...TWICE, the HBO Broadcast Champion and the X-Division Champion this season...and we were just names the #2 Tag Team on Denzel Porter’s Tag Team Rankings which makes me wonder...Under Armour have you been paying attention…
Bunny makes a few aggressive steps towards the hard camera in the ring before Jimmy grabs her and pulls her back
Rose: Easy Bunny, tonight isn’t about lobbying Under Armour for a higher spot on the Elite 15 it’s about honoring our Record Breaking Achievements...but where do we start?
Lane: I guess we start with the first one Bobby, at Uprising when we beat the Xtreme Ravagers we tied the mark of 5 Successful Championship Defenses with DSR Vol 2 and NSFW…
Rose: And at World Wide III we broke that record with our 6th Successful Championship Defense!!!
The crowd cheers wildly for this as Bobby, Jimmy and Bunny take a moment
Love: We have run that record up to 8 Successful Championship Defenses!!!
Rose: And then came the BIG record, the reason these men are standing in the ring here tonight…
Lane: Since 2017 there has been ONE mark out there that every tag team that held these championships were chasing, the magic number of 364...the mark The Moors Murders set...
Rose: Harvey Yorke and Toni Gunn set the standard around here but with our win at Parabellum we passed the 364 day mark...we ushered in 365, ONE YEAR AS THE EWC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!
Once again the trio pause to allow the fans to cheer wildly
Rose: Tonight we step into the ring to celebrate DAY NUMBER 400 as YOUR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!
Lane: Becoming only the THIRD champions to see their championship reign move into the 400 day mark, Ace King with 777 days and the never forgotten Griffin Hawkins and his 491 day mark as TV Champion…
Jimmy pauses and winks into the camera
Rose: We stand here as the 3rd longest reigning EWC champions in the history of the company and we want to take a moment to thank a few people…
Lane: First off you President Mac, for giving us the opportunity here in the EWC when so many other owners had closed the doors in our faces because we were ‘just too old’, because we ‘didn’t have it anymore’, because ‘we were too much of an insurance risk because we might actually die of natural causes inside that ring and it would be a huge PR nightmare’...
Rose: We’d like to thank Marshall Evans and Hayley Kushnir for allowing us to come to Prime and giving us the chance to prove we belonged in the EWC, we were under that brand when we won these championships and if it wasn’t for them giving us the shot we might not be standing here tonight…
Love: We’d like to thank this man, Chris Brock…
Bunny points to the Paramount GM
Love: For opening up the checkbook and signing us to Paramount in the off-season, along with the CW network for seeing the stars we are…
Rose: And last but certainly not least we want to thank you...THE FANS!!!
The crowd pops the loudest of the night as Bobby holds out the microphone
Lane: Without you there would be no Southern Express, you cheered us and showed the people that signed the checks that you wanted us and they made that happen…
Rose: For more than four decades we have been coming out to this ring for YOU and we aren’t done yet baby!!!
Lane: Like a cat the Southern Express have nine lives and we still have plenty of lives left…
Rose: So here is to the past 400 days...and let’s look forward to the NEXT 400 days!!!
Bobby drops the microphone and along with Jimmy Lane and Bunny Love as Bunny hands them their championship belts and the pair pose in the ring as the camera cuts away

Gideon Gage is shown backstage, watching the early matches on one of the monitors. He turns to the camera.
Gage: If anyone is wondering, your precious pussy Grizzly Duggan is not here tonight. No showing a quad branded pay-per-view. Some fucking leader he is. He's obviously terrified of what I would do to him for costing me yet another match on Rampage. Bearded fucking idiot. I am here, after all, despite not being in a match. Because this is Night of Champions, and I am the rightful Broadcast Champ. That title should be mine. Why the fuck is Iggy Swango getting a title match? Fuck you Grizzly Duggan. You are going to regret leaving me off of this card. As soon as I find you. Pussy.
The veins on his head bulge disgustingly as he stomps away.

We return to ringside where commentary smile into the camera
Woo: Well that was very rude ... up next we have a clash of the titans. Or Clash of The Titaness to be more exact as the HBO Broadcast Championship is on the line as Samantha 'Titaness' Hamilton defends against Iggy Swango.
Gomez: Iggy has one go to win the championship here tonight and make Night Of Champions her first night as champion. But can she do it tonight? And can she do it against The Titaness herself?
Dobrev: The following match is set for one fall and it is for the HBO Broadcast Championship. Joining us first, the challenger, residing in The Pleasure Palace and weighing in at 156 pounds ... IGGY SWANGO!
The guitar strums of "Moonage Daydream" echo through the arena as the lights dim low. Strobe lights begin to flash on stage. Soon, Iggy Swango walks from behind the curtain as smog engulfs her. She pauses, adjusts her sun glasses, before making her way down the ramp

Its a slow deliberate walk, as she is clearly vibing to the music. After entering the ring, She looks up to the ceiling, and throws her hands up in a classic rock and roll pose.
Iggy starts bouncing on the stage and rocking out with an air bass playing along with the music before making her way down the ramp. Iggy rolls under the bottom rope and pops up on her knees in the middle of the ring. She slowly stands her to her feet before raising her hands into the air once more.
Dobrev: And the opponent, from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds, she is the HBO Broadcast Champion ... SAMANTHA 'THE TITANESS' HAMILTON!
'Indestructible' by Disturbed blares over the PA system. As it does, we see the forms of The Titaness, her husband, Joseph "Orion" Hunter, and 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love all standing at the top of the ramp. The Titaness saunters down the ramp, flanked by Joseph on one side and Tommy on the other. The Titaness saunters down the ramp. Upon closer inspection, we also see the HBO Broadcast Championship draped over Samantha's right shoulder.
A sense of determination and resolve can always be found in her eyes. Despite wearing a more stern and serious expression, she's not one to ignore any fans or supporters. Every now and again, she'll give a wave or slight smirk. More often than not, however, the Titaness will stick to her more serious and stoic look.
When she finally gets to the ropes, the Titaness will slip through the middle and top ropes, waiting patiently for the ring bell.

Titaness raises her arms in victory as Tommy and her husband get into the ring. Titaness pushes sweat and hair from her face before embracing her husband. As she releases her grip on her husband, Tommy Love hands her the HBO Broadcast championship and she holds it high in celebration. As they all exit the ring, Titaness stops at the corner where the referee is checking on Iggy and offers her hand to her. Iggy and Titaness shake hands.
Woo: A moment of respect after a hell of a fight. Both gave everything they had in this one. There were moments in the match where we wondered how to keep any of them down
Gomez: Hamilton must have wondered the same thing when Swango kicked out of the Zeus' Wrath. However, Hamilton is the champion because she managed to find a way.
Woo: Exactly, that's why she's the champion. They have a mindset that is about for moves ahead
Gomez: Sadly for Iggy Swango she will not be leaving Night Of Champions as a Champion but Pepper Montana has found someone who just might!
With that we go backstage to see what Valentina is referring to...

Pepper Montana is shown backstage getting closer towards an unsuspecting Narumi Tsutsumi. Narumi is pacing back and forth with the PRIMETime Briefcase, shaking her head as if arguing against the temptation she’s feeling from her own briefcase.
Pepper: Pepper Montana reporting in. I have heard rumblings that the holder of the PRIMETime briefcase has been spotted in the arena. Narumi, can I have a word!
Narumi hears her name being called and does a cute squeal before running away in shock. Her quick blitz speed makes her escape the view after running a corner, but as Pepper and the camera go forward, they find her moping at a dead-end corridor.

Narumi: Please, don’t tell anyone you saw me tonight.
Pepper: Uh, it’s kind of too late with the cameras. Is your partner around? Why are you back in Japan?
Narumi: It’s my home. Besides, when everyone on PRIME is under more pressure than ever before because of my failure at Parabellum, I couldn’t stay with the Brawl roster in Atlanta.
Pepper: That doesn’t explain why you’re in this arena, on Night of Champions. Don’t you think people might question your motives for being here?
Narumi hugs the briefcase tight, as if protecting it, yet truly in her mind it protects her from questioning.
Narumi: Wherever Dio goes, as long there’s a ring, I’m allowed to go too! In fact, with the influence of this briefcase, I can schedule a match at any arena and summon Dio to face me there! It’s my right! No one has the right to question what I do with my EARNED POWER!
The oni side stirs within, as her tone becomes angrier as she losses herself in her rant.
Narumi: Whether during or after the Insanity Cage, I am well within my rights to go out there and snatch the Indy Championship from his battered corpse!!!
She hears herself and shoves the briefcase far away from herself. She stands up in shock now that her trance is over.
Narumi: NO! Senshi are better than that! I have what it takes to beat him the right way! I went to Brawl and proved I have what it takes to be a champion again by beating a great rival in Nightcall himself! To beat Dio, I just have to be perfect!
She takes a deep breath and stands up while continuing to mumble “perfect” under her breath before she’s reminded of Pepper’s presence.
Pepper: Are you rooting for Dio to win tonight?
Narumi: ...O-of course! Having the Undisputed Championship back would be great for Prime! And if I beat him for the Indy Championship after that, it would have to for sure put me in line for the top!
Concern comes over Narumi as she looks down.
Narumi: But I’m sure the top title would take him to an even higher unstoppable level. Jamie didn’t have much luck taking the Indy Championship away when JFS was dual champion, would I suffer the same fate? Dio's already bad enough. If the Insanity Cage and all those champions can't stop him, can anything? They say it's after the Insanity Cage that the Undisputed Championship and it's champion truly earn their undisputed position.
Narumi shakes her head, snapping out of it.
Narumi: I can’t give in to fear or corruption! My fans expect better from me. I shouldn’t allow myself to be tempted by this place. I should be training with Megumi-chan! I must put in the work to be the best fighter I can be!
Narumi grabs her briefcase and runs past a dumbfounded Pepper Montana as we head back to ringside for the Main Event.

EWC UNDISPUTED
CHAMPIONSHIP
7 PERSON INSANITY CAGE MATCH
Match Writer: FN'R

The Triple Tier cage is just like the one in WCW, and the rules are basically the same. Start out in the bottom cage, climb a ladder into the second tier, leave through a door and climb up onto the outside of the third tier, where a belt, or object needed to win will be waiting. The differences are that the three cages are three different kinds of hardcore matches and the ending is different as well. The 1st cage is a barb wire match. The 2nd cage is an extreme weapons match featuring barb wire wrapped 2x4's/ baseball bats, kendo sticks, glass bottles, staple guns, sickles, scissors, and steel pipes. The third cage is merely the launching pad for the ending. Because the only way to win is to throw your opponent off the third cage through the STACKED FLAMING TABLES!!!

I’ve paid my dues… Time after time… I’ve done my sentence… But committed no crime… And bad mistakes… I've made a few… I've had my share of sand… Kicked in my face… But I've come through… … … And we mean to go on and on and on and on… We are the champions, my friends… And we'll keep on fighting till the end!!!
Pyro explodes and the crowd goes insane as the music shifts.
Welcome to the wild, no heroes and villains
Welcome to the war we've only begun, so
Pick up your weapon and face it
There's blood on the crown go and take it
You get one shot to make it out alive, so
Higher and higher you chase it
It’s deep in your bones, go and take it
This is your moment, now is your time, so
Prove yourself and
RISE, RISE
Make 'em remember you
RISE
Push through hell and
RISE, RISE
They will remember you

Another round of pyro blasts and the crowd makes some noise!
Dobrev: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for your MAIN EVENT! The Insanity Cage Match Featuring ALL CHAMPIONS...where the winner will be declared TRULY the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION of EWC! Introducing first. Representing Monday Night BRAWL and the International Championship. 154 Days As Champion, 1 Successful Defense… XAVIER REID!

The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out. Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his new black trunks, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape with the EWC International Championship around his waist and following him out is ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy follows from behind and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’. Tommy points to the cage as Xavier unhooks the International Championship and hands it to Tommy who raises it into the air as Xavier walks towards the cage shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the cage, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something.
Woo: Xavier Reid has been on a tear on Monday Night BRAWL, and now he’ll see if his momentum track into this match.
Gomez: I am sure he’s considered a favorite to win going into this one.
Dobrev: And his opponent, representing Friday Night RAMPAGE and the United States Championship. 59 Days As Champion. ASRIEL BUZZARD!!!

“IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE?”
As the first notes of Machine Head pound through the arena, images of the Great Plains appear on the tron, mixed with pictures of crosses and churches. Spotlights flash around the arena but focus on the stage as the drums and heavier riff starts and Asriel Buzzard appears through the curtain.
“COME ON!”
He stands at the top of the ramp, eyes closed and fists clenched in front of his chest for a few seconds. After opening his eyes, he starts to march to the ring, glaring at the fans putting their hands out over the barrier. He circles the ring cage after arriving at ringside.
“THE PARANOIA, DROPS ME TO MY KNEES”
Asriel walks up the ring steps, and enters the cage.
“CAUSE NO FLAG CAN MEAN BRAVERY WHEN BLOODIED BY SLAVERY, THE REBEL, A DEVIL, DISGUISED AS A SAVIOR”
Buzzard raises his title high to Xavier and Tommy.
Woo: The Best Of Rampage Tournament winner, he’s been largely unstoppable this year.
Gomez: You know Buzzard wants to win the Undisputed Championship now, before his guaranteed title match at UNCENSORED in October!
Dobrev: And their opponent, representing PARAMOUNT and the North American Championship. 54 Days As Champion. MARCU$ $T. JOHN!!!

"Fast Lane" blasts through the arena by Bad Meets Evil. A Maybach drives up through the entrance ramp. A chauffeur gets out of the vehicle and opens the back door. Marcu$ McGarrett gets out on the entrance stage and money starts falling down from the sky with his face on 100 dollar bills as green laser lights illuminate the arena. As the money shower stops, Marcus walks down the ramp with a smug look on his face.
He stops right before he gets to the cage and basks in the boos that he is getting from the crowd and waves his hands around as to tell them to keep it going and get louder. He jumps up on the steps and wipes his feet before he enters the cage and poses in the middle of the ring as a light shines a hundred dollar bill in the center of the ring with his face on it.
Pyros hits as "Fast Lane" by Bad Meets Evil ends.
Woo: Marcu$ St. John shocked the world when he beat Robbie Rayder two times in a row to win the North American Championship… But as of late, he’s struggled to get much momentum.
Gomez: But of course that doesn’t matter if M$J can leave tonight champion!
Dobrev: And their opponent, representing Sunday Night PRIME and the Indy Championship. 154 Days As Champion. 1 Successful Defense. DIO!!!

The lights dim down, and a voice comes over the PA system.
”I am your Crux.”
The phrase kicks off the sounds of “Change (in the house of flies)” by the Deftones as Dio emerges from the curtain and stands atop the stage. He surveys the crowd, tugging at the collar of his leather jacket before heading down toward the cage.
Woo: Dio ended the reign of Jordan Sharpe, and ushered in a new era on PRIME. And what better way to show that era than by winning the Undisputed Championship here tonight?
Gomez: Doing something only Candy and Jordan Sharpe have done before him.
Dobrev: And their opponent, Representing Sunday Night PRIME and the Showtime Broadcast Championship. 71 Days As Champion. SCORPIO!!!

'Rule Britannia' hits the speakers as red, white, and blue lighting flashes around the arena. The crowd begin to boo loudly as the imagine of a waving Union Jack is displayed on the X-Tron. Superimposed on this is the message "Please be upstanding for your Prime Minister". After a little while the orchestral music fades down...
'Iconic' - Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper hits the speakers as the house lights go down, switching to a spotlight focused on the curtain. It parts, revealing 'The S-Factor' Scorpio stood behind, a hand on his hip cutting a beautiful silhouette. He sashays forward, a long coat dripping in jewels swaying with every step. Behind him steps Crème de la Crème, Scorpio's drag queen confidant and manager. The two look to one another and nod, before Scorpio opens his coat and drops it to the floor, revealing another stunning outfit. He steps down the ramp with a confident strut, emulating that of the catwalk models of Paris and Milan, before reaching the cage. Scorpio and Crème climb up the steps. Stepping into the middle of the ring Scorpio raises one arm, and blows a kiss with the other, a smile forming on his beautifully made-up face.
Woo: Scorpio’s return to the EWC On PRIME was rocky at first, but he’s really found his footing and is the #1 contender to the Undisputed Championship.
Gomez: You can bet he’d love to win the title while #1 contender.
Dobrev: And their opponent, representing Monday Night BRAWL and the X-Division Championship. 124 Days As Champion. STITCHES!!!

'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat drops at around the thirty seven second mark the curtains are brushed to the side, smoke spewing out from behind the curtains, and out walks Stitches. A wide, red-painted Chelsea-esque grin is across the face of Stitches as he stares out at the crowd of people before him.
Stitches methodically makes his way down the ramp, staring down the crowd members who dare lean too far over the crowd barricade. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he stops and once again looks out at the crowd of people before him. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up into the cage.
Woo: Stitches is looking to win back his Undisputed Championship he lost earlier this year to Ace King.
Gomez: And if anyone has the drive to survive this hell hole of a match and win, it’s Stitches.
Dobrev: And their opponent, representing Friday Night RAMPAGE and the Undisputed Championship. 154 Days As Champion, 2 Successful Defenses. ACE KING!!!

The signature Motorhead anthem rips through The Metlife Dome, and the crowd starts cheering. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp. Once the guitars hit, a plume of fire goes up on either side of the ramp as Ace King rises to the stage from a platform, looking out at the crowd and nodding in appreciation.
A thin smile crosses Ace's face as his weathered eyes look out at the crowd, pausing for a few more seconds on the platform before casually making his way down the ramp toward the cage, his arms outstretched for fans on either side of the barricade.
Huge volley of green pyro for Ace King, followed by volley in the color of the other brands to represent the other champions. Our seven champions enter the structure and hand off their titles as they go. Ace King kisses his Undisputed Championship before handing it off to Toyo Yasahiro, perhaps for the last time.
Woo: Ace King has been the most dominant Undisputed Champion in quite some time… can he keep that going?
Gomez: Everyone has to lose, but I don’t know if this current Ace King even truly has that word in his vocabulary. You can beat him, but he never loses. And a loss here, that would be a loss.
Woo: Two Champions from BRAWl, RAMPAGE and PRIME, one Champion from PARAMOUNT. All about to step into one of the most dangerous structures in the business. Haven’t seen this match since 2019 for a reason.
Gomez: And tonight, there will be blood.
Ace King wastes no time and he rushes at Scorpio, flooring the Showtime Champion with a standing dropkick! Scorpio flies backwards into the barbed wire ropes, his flesh already sliced open by the razor sharp metal. Scorpio pulls himself off the wire while groaning in pain, King grabs on a side-headlock and jumps off the cage into a tornado DDT planting Scorpio right on his head! King rolls Scorpio onto his stomach and he begins to punch down on Scorpio holding nothing back!
FIGHT FOREVER! FIGHT FOREVER! FIGHT FOREVER!
Marcu$ $t John and Asriel Buzzard are engaged in a shoulder/’collar tie-up. Buzzard shoves M$J back and then lands a European uppercut on the North American Champion's jaw. John fires back a superkick into Buzzard’s stomach. John grabs on a headlock but Buzzard pulls backwards and sends John into the barbed wire ropes. Buzzard smiles at his handiwork as John is all tangled up, but Buzzard turns right into a discus elbow from Dio that nearly sends him into the ropes.
Woo: We’ve already got blood in this match!
Gomez: And that won’t be the last of it either.
On the opposite side of the ring, Xavier Reid and Stitches are engaged in back and forth slapping, the BRAWL Champions testing to see who is the strongest. The crowd chants along with every slap, getting louder as they go.

Stitches drags himself up, wiping the blood from his face and looking at the carnage. Scorpio is still slamming King’s head into the canvas, and Stitches makes his way over to drag Scorpio up by his hair and yank him backwards into a backbreaker over his knee. Stitches drags King up by his hair. What did one bloody face say to the other bloody face? A FUCKING HEADBUTT! King falls backwards against the barbed wire ropes, the metal tearing into his skin as he falls down off them. Stitches turns around and MARCU$ $T JOHN WITH A STANDING DOUBLE STOMP! MONEY STOMP!
PARA MOUNT… PARA MOUNT… PARA MOUNT…
Woo: A lot of fans of Paramount Wrestling In attendance here tonight!
Gomez: and M$J is giving them what they want as the sole Paramount Champion in this match.
John makes his way over the ladder, he starts to pull himself up, Dio grabs his heel and yanks him down… as M$J falls, Dio catches him with a cutter out of nowhere! Inevitable! Dio quickly pulls himself up the ladder to the second level of the cage. A bloody Xavier Reid following closely behind. Reid makes it to the second level… or rather his head does. But a Dio chairshot sends Reid falling back down the ladder! Dio decides to climb back down the ladder with the chair to do more damage.
THIS IS AWESOME… THIS IS AWESOME… THIS IS AWESOME…
Marcu$ $t. John pulls himself up just to get a chair smashed in the back of his head, knocking him back down. Asriel Buzzard meets the same fate, Dio also kicks Buzzard in his ribcage where Phoenix Winterborn stabbed him months ago. Then Xavier Reid eats a chairshot. Dio is ruthless!
Woo: Dio has taken over this match.
Gomez: And that chair has a thing to say to anyone who may disagree!
Scorpio tries to plead with Dio, they can win this for PRIME. Dio lowers the chair, Scorpio gets closer. Dio kicks Scorpio in the groin and then smashes the chair into his face.
YOU DESERVE IT… YOU DESERVE IT… YOU DESERVE IT…
Woo: I couldn’t agree more.
Gomez: Seconded.
Dio turns to his left, but he cannot react in time to stop Stitches from flooring him with a lethal lariat. Stitches picks up the chair and smashes it against Dio’s back. Stitches turns and is met by a diving crossbody from Scorpio jumping off the top rope! Scorpio picks up the chair and immediately turns to Ace King who is pulling himself up, slicing his hands on the barbed wire. Scorpio rushes at King and smashes the chair into King’s face! King falls back against the ropes and as if they were normal ropes he explodes out into a European uppercut that clotheslines Scorpio! King lets out a scream of pure rage before mounting Scorpio and raining down the punches again. Xavier Reid & M$J make their way up the ladder to the second story.
Woo: They’ve reached the second level, this is where the match will get really interesting..
Gomez: Carnage amplified!
Xavier immediately goes for the door. M$J grabs a headlock and pulls Reid back into the center of the ring. M$J sends Xavier into the ropes. Reid rebounds off, and ducks under M$J's spinning heel kick. Xavier hits the opposite ropes and rushes M$J, this time ducking a superick. Xavier Reid hits the ropes and rushes in… RAINHAM MAKER SPANISH FLY! Reid pulls himself up and hits the ropes again, M$J sits up and eats a kick to the chest! Xavier grabs both of M$J’s hands and begins to stomp down on his jaw and neck.
JESUS CHRIST JESUS CHRIST JESUS CHRIST
Reid releases M$J’s hands and lands one more stomp. Reid turns around and is pulled into a side-headlock by Stitches who then spins into a Falcon Arrow. Stitches drags Xavier up by his hair, backbreaker over knee. Stitches drags Xavier up, wheelbarrow facebuster! Stitches makes his way over to the weapons lining the walls, he retrieves a kendo stick. Stitches goes back to Xavier Reid and slams the kendo stick down on the back of his head… once, twice, three times! Stitches turns his attention to M$J, slamming the kendo stick down against his stomach and chest repeatedly. Xavier Reid pulls himself up to his knees, Stitches turns and breaks the kendo stick against Reid’s head!
HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!!
Woo: You don’t come back from something like that!
Gomez: Not anytime this year at least!
Dio climbs up the ladder to join the fun. Stitches drops his broken kendo stick pieces and invites Dio for some fun.
Back down the ladder, Ace King and Scorpio are both back up to their feet, trading kicks and slaps. Slap from King, kick from Scorpio, kick from King, uppercut from Scorpio. Scorpio jumps into an enziguri that rocks King and drops him backwards. King keeps his balance, Scorpio grabs on a headlock and jumps off the canvas into a modified tornado DDT. Scorpio pulls Ace up to his knees, HURRICANRANA! Scorpio drags Ace up and throws him into the ropes. King bounces back into a roundhouse from Scorpio! Scorpio keeps his foot against King’s head for a few seconds before jumping into a dropkick and sending King backwards into the ropes again. HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!
Woo: Ace King and Scorpio are here to commit murder!
Gomez: You can say that again!
Ace King and Scorpio pull each other up, the bloodied men yell at each other, Ace King pulls back and headbutts Scorpio! They both collapse! Back in the second cage, Stitches has Dio in a side-headlock. Stitches goes for another falcon arrow, but Dio turns it into a swinging neckbreaker! Dio drags Stitches up and uranage right onto Xavier Reid! Dio drags Stitches up hits another swinging neckbreaker! M$J pulls himself up, his body bruised and bloodied from kendo stick shots and barbed wire slices. Dio spins around and catches M$J with a discus elbow. Xavier Reid pulls himself up, but a dropkick from Dio puts him back down. Dio makes his way over to the door and opens it up, he climbs out and begins to scale up the cage, 20 feet in the air!
Woo: Dio might be the first person to make the top!
Gomez: He’s so close.
Dio is so focused on climbing, he doesn’t notice Xavier Reid crawling towards the door, Xavier pulls himself up and grabs Dio’s foot! Reid pulls Dio back down into the doorway and OH MY GOD. DIO WITH An Inevitable Cutter out of nowhere!!! Dio pulls himself up and goes to climb again… MISSILE DROPKICK FROM M$J!! DIO FLIES FROM THE SECOND CAGE AND CRASHES ONTO THE RAMP!
HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT
Woo: Holy shit indeed!
Gomez: Dio is dead, but it wasn’t off the top rope and wasn’t through a flaming table… this match goes on!
M$J pulls himself up and climbs out and up the cage. He reaches the top of the third cage and lays there, trying to catch his breath.
Woo: John gets some breathing time.
Gomez: This could lead to him winning.
Back down on the first floor, Scorpio has dragged himself over to the ladder and is pulling himself up away from Ace King. Scorpio reaches the second cage and crawls to the weapons and retrieves a hairdryer he had smuggled in. Scorpio crawls over to Stitches and smashes the hairdryer down on Stitches’ head repeatedly. Then he makes his way to Xavier Reid and does the same.
Scorpio drops the hairdryer and uses the cage to stand up in the doorway, Scorpio looks down upon Dio and laughs. He then begins to make his climb up the cage.
Woo: Scorpio is heading up to the top.
Gomez: John better look out.
Ace King reaches the second floor and he crawls over to the door, King pulls himself up the door and then up the cage following Scorpio.

Ace King did it, he did the unthinkable. A round of pyro explodes while King stares at Scorpio. He won’t have any time for a respite, he can already tell.
Woo: What an amazing match this was to cap off a wild night! Ace King has done the seemingly impossible, but that look between King and Scorpio tells us that their issues are far from over!
Gomez: After everything they've been through, you just KNOW that Scorpio won't stand to let King celebrate this moment for long.
Woo: Still, there is no denying that Ace King is truly the Undisputed Champion when all is said and done. We will see what happens as we go back to our road schedule leading to the EWC Rumble next month, but until then we can finally call it a night here in Japan! For Valentina Gomez, I'm Marcus Woo, thanking you all for watching Night of Champions XVIII!
We fade to black on King’s bloody face, a juxtaposition of this huge moment of celebration to close the show.
Pyro explodes and the crowd goes insane as the music shifts.
Welcome to the wild, no heroes and villains
Welcome to the war we've only begun, so
Pick up your weapon and face it
There's blood on the crown go and take it
You get one shot to make it out alive, so
Higher and higher you chase it
It’s deep in your bones, go and take it
This is your moment, now is your time, so
Prove yourself and
RISE, RISE
Make 'em remember you
RISE
Push through hell and
RISE, RISE
They will remember you
RISE
Another round of pyro blasts and the crowd makes some noise!
Dobrev: Ladies and gentlemen, it is time for your MAIN EVENT! The Insanity Cage Match Featuring ALL CHAMPIONS...where the winner will be declared TRULY the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION of EWC! Introducing first. Representing Monday Night BRAWL and the International Championship. 154 Days As Champion, 1 Successful Defense… XAVIER REID!

ACE KING!!!

"THE ACE OF SPADES! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!"
DING DING DING

Scorpio rolls King off of him, he mounts King with King’s face down on the canvas. Scorpio begins to slam King’s face down onto the canvas repeatedly. Buzzard is in a headlock, Dio squeezing the life out of him. Buzzard shoves Dio off forward into Xavier Reid who jumps into a sitout front flip piledriver! Xavier rolls Dio off of him, and Buzzard comes in with a knee smash right into Xavier Reid’s face! Buzzard turns around and faces a bloody Marcu$ $t. John who lands a superkick flush on the jaw! Woo: Buzzard may already be out of this match!
Gomez: M$J with a vengeance!.
Woo: John gets some breathing time.
Gomez: This could lead to him winning.

Scorpio reaches the second cage and crawls to the weapons and retrieves a hairdryer he had smuggled in. Scorpio crawls over to Stitches and smashes the hairdryer down on Stitches’ head repeatedly. Then he makes his way to Xavier Reid and does the same.
