"Lace Em Up" by Deraj blasts in the Arena
The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #574 in Amsterdam.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, from Xplode defeating Shadow Man to unify the belts to footage of the men and women of BRAWL who have held the illustrious title including Ashton Drake, Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and Xavier Reid, before ending on the current champion Ace King.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, Callie Clark, Noah Hartt, King Flip, Jack Severn, Hazel Overton, Candy, KU, Stitches, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Tyler Bradford with the FX Broadcast Championship
Xavier Reid with the EWC International Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.
A wide aerial shot shows that the WiZink Center is electric for Monday Night BRAWL!

A thick layer of fog circles the arena, and camera flashes repeatedly strobe the area!
The camera feed pans to different areas in the arena and we see fans cheering in excitement!
The fans are shown smiling, laughing, and pumping their fists in excitement
as fireworks emit from each corner of the ring!
A thick layer of fog surrounds the fans from the firework display.
A thick layer of fog surrounds the fans from the firework display.
The show is live... and the excitement is at a fever pitch!
Signs can be seen all over the arena, some reading:
"UN REY SE LEVANTARÁ"
"ES UNA DULCE NOCHE EN MADRID"
"TYLER DISFRUTA DEL OLOR DE LOS TEJONES POR LA MAÑANA"
"ESO ES MUCHO DAÑO"
"HAZEL VERÁ LA LUZ (CLIMA)"
and "ESTÉ EN BUSCA DE LA PALABRA SECRETA, EL PRIMERO EN VERLA GANA UN PREMIO"
Aiello: Hello everyone, and welcome to Monday Night BRAWL! We are here in beautiful Madrid for what should be an exciting night of action on the one stop between the Rumble and Youngblood III! We saw quite the shocking developments in Melbourne, such as Stitches losing the X-Division and the first-ever THREE-way tie in the main event! With the WrestleFest main event set in stone for the time being, we're on the road to our annual showcase of first and second-year Superstars...but tonight? Tonight we have not one but TWO title matches ahead of us!
Bennett: That's right Joe, we're gonna see King Flip and Xavier Reid square off once more in one hell of a main event for the International Championship! Back in May, Flip got one over on Reid, who looks to keep his old rival at bay and keep the belt in the process! On top of that, we've got the FX Broadcast Championship up for grabs as Darius looks to get some revenge after a loss to Tyler Bradford!
Aiello: And before we get there, we have three big matches in the cards! Candy takes on Ruby Clifton in X-Division action, we'll see KU and Antoni Malietoa team up once again to take on Damage Incorporated, and in our opening contest we have the sole representative of BRAWL at Youngblood III in action as Hazel Overton takes on a man returning to EWC after quite some time, Pence Weatherlight! That match is up next, don't go away folks!

The cameras show Hazel Overton stepping out of her dressing room with Amy Jonas right beside her. The two ladies are talking to each other as Bob Murray looks to stop in front of them.
Bob Murray: Good evening ladies, do you have a minute to speak?
Hazel shakes her head as Amy Jonas steps in front of her.
Amy Jonas: You are some kind of stupid. Ms. Overton has a match to think about and all you care about is talking.
Bob Murray: Is she ready for Pence Weatherlight?
Hazel looks at Bob and gets right into his face.
Hazel Overton: You have that ass backwards. You should go check to see if Puke Face McGee is ready for me. This match is my perfect way to send a message to that Ten guy from Paramount. Once I am done with Pence, I will roll through Tane Sua then show the entire world that The Bitch is ready for Youngblood 3. Now if you don't mind then get the fuck out of my way.
Hazel brushes past Bob as Amy just smirks before walking off after her as we cut back to ringside.
INTO THE THICK OF IT!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Pence Weatherlight
VS Hazel Overton
VS Hazel Overton
We return to ringside where preparations for the first match of the evening have finished. We cut to commentary as the crowd cheers in the background, eager to see how each fight of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Brawl will play out.
Aiello: Good evening, everyone! We’re about to kick off our 575th episode of Brawl tonight! We have a returning ex-champion in Pence Weatherlight, who has signed with our brand facing off against a very determined Hazel Overton!
Bennett: Feh. Unless something exciting happens, this looks like it’ll be the piss match. Wake me if I’m needed. For now, take us away, Stroup!
Stroup: The following match is for one fall! Joining us first, from Hershey, Pennsylvania weighing in at 245 pounds ... PENCE WEATHERLIGHT!
The screen in the arena bursts to static as the beginning of "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum" by A Perfect Circle begins to play. The lights begins to flicker on and off in the arena as a man emerges on the entrance ramp, the fans begin to cheer as they realize it is none other than Pence Weatherlight. Pence stands on the ramp looking around at all the fans in attendance as the lights continue to flicker on and off as air raid horns begins to play in the background adding more to the beat and rhythm of the music. He begins to march his way down the entrance ramp, slowly, and methodically taking his time as he continues to observe the fans and his opponent in the ring. Pence takes a deep breath as he reaches the steps, pausing again to look at all the fans in attendance before his eyes land on his opponent as he glares at them with intensity.
Pence makes his way up the steps and calmly enters the ring, removing his eyes from his opponent as he walks over to the corner opposite of them, and steps up on to the turnbuckle as he continues to glance around the arena at all the fans who continue to cheer. Pence begins to pop his knuckles as he jumps off the turnbuckle to face his opponent again as he begins to stretch in preparation for the bout he is about to undertake.
Stroup: And his opponent, from London, England weighing in at 137 pounds ... HAZEL OVERTON!
"Show Stopper" by Danity Kane begins to play as Hazel Overton steps out from behind the curtain with her publicist Amy Jonas right beside her. Hazel is showing her displeasure toward the audience as Amy is jotting down somethings in her phone. Hazel slides into the ring and walks to the farthest corner and sits on top of it while waiting for her opponent.
DING DING DING
Pence rushes forward, seeming raring and eager to prove himself in his re-debut. He attempts to lock up with Hazel, but she ducks out of the way before he can grab onto her hands. As Hazel slips behind Weatherlight, she kicks at the back of his knee. His leg trembles, but he refuses to kneel. Hazel throws another kick, clearly trying to force him down to her height.
Before the kick can connect, though, Pence pivots around, now facing Hazel. Weatherlight grabs and pulls Hazel by the leg, hoisting her up into a Fireman’s Carry Neckbreaker! Hazel is slammed unceremoniously onto the canvas, looking very much out of it! But not so much that Pence can cover her and end the fight, as she gets a shoulder up after the referee gets to one.
Aiello: Close call here in the early goings, but Pence isn't down and out!
Bennett: Hazel's gonna have to switch gears if she's gonna pick up this win!
As Pence is starting to pull Hazel up to her feet, she pulls her hand back and slaps Pence - hard - across the face. We can even swear we hear the mic pick up her demanding that he let her go. Pence seems slightly taken aback at the slap, but recovers quick enough to avoid an incoming elbow from Hazel.
What he fails to dodge, however, is a kick that lands square on his patella. He grimaces and falls to a knee, like Hazel had been aiming for earlier. He attempts to get back to a vertical base, but it seems Hazel has a plan. She kicks at his other kneecap, and down goes Pence.
While The Reaper is still reeling in pain, Hazel slips behind him … and locks in London Comes Calling (Muta Lock)!
The two have a battle of strength and will; Hazel continues to strengthen her hold as best as she can while Pence reaches for the ropes, using both his arms and feet. Unfortunately for The Golden Bitch, he succeeds in getting a foot on the ropes.
The referee points it out and tells Hazel to let go of the hold, or risk being disqualified.
Hazel rolls her eyes but obeys. She takes a few paces back, grinning at the work she did manage to do to Pence.
But then her eyes widen as he charges forward and begins executing his One In The Chamber combination! He throws down left and right punches at the prone Hazel, who is now forced to choose whether she wants to try to defend herself or push him off.
Thankfully for Hazel, he stops after at least seven good hits connect. Unfortunately, he’s not done with her, as he quickly picks her up and turns her upside-down. He’s going for his Last Will And Testament (Burning Hammer)! It lands flush!
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE -- NO?!?!
Pence looks shocked as Hazel gets a shoulder up at what had to be 2.99! He punches the canvas, looking frustrated and furious, but he allows Hazel to stand back up. As Hazel gets back to a vertical base, Weatherlight begins contemplating a new battle plan.
Aiello: Pence trying to figure out what it's gonna take to put Hazel away here.
Bennett: I gotta feeling things are gonna get violent real damn quick, Joe!
The two circle around one another, trying to look for an opening. Hazel is the first, as she charges forward, using the extra space and momentum to lunge forward. Using every ounce of strength, she does it! She takes Pence down with a Spear that causes the entire ring to shudder, looking damn ready to almost break!
Both are quick to get back to their feet, but Hazel is the first to make a move! Tooth Decay (Superkick)!
She hooks the legs as Pence falls back down onto the canvas!
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE -- NOOOO!
Pence just barely kicks out in time! Hazel glares up at the ref, holding three fingers and insisting that win was hers. The referee holds up two of his own, insisting it was still two. Hazel screams at the ref in frustration.
Hazel’s attention is brought back to Pence as she’s lifted up and brought back down for a second Last Will And Testament (Burning Hammer)! Pence covers and goes for the win!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... PENCE WEATHERLIGHT!
Hazel rolls out angrily, not in the mood to argue with the referee anymore. Pence raises his arms high up in the air, looking proud and content with himself on his first Brawl victory!
Aiello: Hazel definitely gave it her all, but it wasn’t meant to be. Congratulations to Pence Weatherlight, and welcome back to the EWC!
Bennett: Hazel was robbed, plain and simple. Stupid blind refs. Whatever. Kudos to Pence, I guess …
Aiello: All eyes are now on how she does at Youngblood III, but up next we shift gears to tag team action as KU and Antoni Malietoa take on Damage Incorporated!
We cut away from ringside to a video package promoting the next PPV event, Youngblood III featuring the first and second-year Superstars of EWC ...
We move to a commercial break.
#I'M BACK FROM THA' DDEEEEEAAAAAAADDDD!!!
The opening to Halestorm's "Back from the Dead" drones over the speakers as the lights dim to a dark blue, then proceed to flash red and white as an old face steps out onto that stage, her graphic playing over the Tron screen held aloft above her by pylons, cables, and other support structures. There's a big smile on the thin face of Melinda Rhodes as she steps out onto that stage in her full black and silver ring gear, name blazed upon her thighs and boots and look topped off by black fingerless gloves, studded bracers, chrome aviator shades, and a red leather vest sporting her winged star logo on the back. Her hair is kept short, blond, and spiked, a stark contrast to the look she had when last seen.
She strides down to ringside, slides under the ropes and hops straight to her feet with a three finger salute to the fans. There's cheering from more than a few SRW fans who have watched her indie wrestling promotion grow over the last three years to an east coast territory. Some fans chant "SRW! SRW! SRW! SRW!" She quickly waves her hands with a chuckle, breaking out a microphone and addressing the crowd. YouTube is a hell of a thing with a massive reach, as is Twitch.
Rebel: !Es bueno estar aquí! ¡Vaya, hace mucho que no estoy en Madrid! Ahora ahora, esto es EWC, no mi casa. ¡GRITO EWC! ¡EWC! ¡EWC! ¡EWC!
The crowd starts chanting "EWC! EWC! EWC! EWC!"
Rebel: That's better! Now if my company shows up here, you can chant those other letters all you like! Until then, show the house that Mac built the respect it deserves! GODDAMN IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK!!!! I missed this ring, globe hopping, being the international Rebel Star I always wanted to be, but never quite was. Well here's my big chance to prove to the world I'm more than just some trouble who got lucky once. I may not have a match tonight, but I came ready because that's who I am. Plus when a company says, "Hey you wanna' go to Spain?" and they're paying for it? Hell yeah you go! Hung out at the Crystal Palace and watched a local band play their heart out last night! It was awesome!!!
She peeling those aviators off her face and hanging them in her top, casting a serious look out at the crowd.
Rebel: Seriously though, I can't believe I'm here, in this ring, standing on the Brawl logo, looking up at EWC banners around me again. I hated leaving here... I loved what I was doing, even if there were those in it making me beyond miserable backstage. I get why it happened and that it had to happen as I was dragging everyone down into the pit of my volatile emotions to suffer with me. Self-destructing people are never fun to be around, but this ain't the old, tired Rebel playing like she's the biggest goddamn thing in wrestling since two people decided to wrestle naked in the street one day in Greece and a crowd gathered around 'em to watch.
Mel walks up to the ropes and leans into them on loosely crossed arms. She holds the microphone sideways by her mouth to accommodate the position.
Rebel: Nah, I'm older, wiser, and I'm not about that life anymore. The ego's in my other pants back at home, in Georgia. I'm here to compete, win gold, and show people I'm a different kind of monster. No more drama, no more abuse, none of that bad shit as I represent two brands now wherever I go and I can't go embarrassing myself along with 'em on the biggest stage of 'em all, now can I?
That wicked smile returns to her face as she looks down at the camera looking up at her from the floor.
Rebel: And Xavier Reid... King Flipster, my good dear old friends... It's been a long time, but I'm going to be working my ass off to face one of you two for that big hunk of gold you're fighting for tonight. So whether it's The King fo Flippery himself or Savior Xavier, know that I'm coming, tattoos and all. So gentlemen, fight well, fight hard, and make this crowd pop harder than it's ever popped before. Melinda Rhodes is back from the dead and she's already aiming high....
Mel turns to face the Stranglemania banner, pointing two fingers up at it with a cocked thumb. She jerks her hand back, depressing the thumb against the side of her palm, then bringing them to her lips to blow on them as if a smoking barrel.
Rebel: ...The Rebel Star Rides again.
Her music plays loud and proud. The Rebel backs up into the ropes, hooks her arms in them, and with a kick of one leg, she flips up and over to drop down onto the floor. Mel slaps a few high fives in passing as she makes her way to the back.
HARD-HITTING DAMAGE AWAITS!
[TAG TEAM MATCH]
KU & Antoni Malietoa
VS Damage Incorporated
VS Damage Incorporated
We remain at ringside, cutting to Joe and Steve at the announce booth!
Aiello: Wow, big statement from the returning Rebel!
Bennett: Maybe, but I'm sure she's gonna have to prove herself if she wants a crack at that International Championship!
Aiello: Folks, we move on from one return to another as Damage Incorporated are back in action on the red brand! Facing them are Antoni Malietoa and the similarly-returning KU in what could be a barnburner of a match!
Stroup: The following match is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, weighing in at 230 pounds ... KU!
'Fuck It' by Seether plays through the arena as KU steps out onto the stage, choosing to stay silent and somber as he approaches the ring.
Stroup: Introducing next, his tag team partner! Making his way to the ring From Apia, Samoa by way of Auckland, New Zealand weighing in at 254lbs......He is The Great Warrior ... ANTONI MALIETOA!
Fog engulfs the entrance ramp, highlighted by green lights as "Be Somebody" by Fort Minor begins to play throughout the arena. From the smoke emerges Antoni Malietoa with his eyes wide and arms out to his sides.
As the fog clears, Antoni takes a step forward as he psychs him self up with a yell. Antoni makes his way to the ring, pulls himself up from the floor by the top rope and then steps over the top rope and into the ring as he prepares to do battle.
Stroup: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 725 pounds...Malice... MAYHEM ... DAMAGE INCORPORATED!
Pyro explodes across the stage. The light pulses like lightning and Lacey Savage appears wearing a skull bandanna that covers her lower face. When the lightning pulses again a thick smoke rolls in, and from the smoke come two huge figures dressed in matching leather jackets that reach all the way to their matching boots. The two men are wearing full face masks that look like skulls. Each skull face is partially covered by a bandanna, outlaw style. The two men flank Lacey and they all come to stand in the center of the stage.
Removing their masks the group marches in lock step down the ramp to the ring. Once between the ropes the group clusters together in a tight huddle to go over their final game plan, each member sizing up their opponents and getting ready for a war. Malice holds the ropes open for Lacey before the bell rings where she takes her place at ringside where she prepares to aid her team however she can.
DING DING DING
We start things off with KU and Mayhem, who exchange some hard strikes back and forth to see who can get the advantage early on. This advantage eventually goes to Mayhem, who gets KU to one knee before looking for a roundhouse kick...but KU ducks it! He rolls forward, getting back to his feet in the process. Mayhem charges at KU, who sends him into the canvas with a drop toe hold before rolling Mayhem out of the ring. Antoni shouts at his partner about the discussion they'd had regarding this tactic, but KU gives him the cold shoulder as he tells the ref to start the count!
ONE!
TWO!
Malice is having absolutely none of this as he heads into the ring, making a beeline for KU! Antoni runs in as the equalizer, and the two big men go at it trading lefts and rights...until KU sends Malice out of the ring with a dropkick!
Aiello: Malice just sent flying with that dropkick by KU!
Bennett: KU is definitely trying to get this match finished in a hurry, one way or another!
Antoni has a word with KU about the attitude, indicating that something needs to change quick as Damage Inc get back to their feet, sliding into the ring to throw hands at their opponents! Chaos ensues with all four men going at it, the ref doing his best to control the situation until Antoni sends Malice back out over the top rope with a clothesline, giving the focus back to KU and Mayhem who go right back at it with some especially nasty kicks until KU gets clocked with a heel kick by Mayhem!
KU is down but not quite out, Mayhem taunting him as he slowly gets to his feet. Antoni is back on the apron, clamoring for a tag...but Mayhem denies it, grabbing KU and sending him into the opposite corner. By this point Malice has finally returned to the apron as well and gets a tag, and the pair start stomping away at the midsection of KU before Malice sends him into the ropes, looking for a spinebuster...but Antoni gets a blind tag in the process, and hits a hard clothesline on Malice!
Aiello: Here comes the Warrior, and he's coming in hot!
Bennett: He's gonna have to do a lot more than that to take the big man Malice down, Joe!
Antoni picks the big man back up, sending him to the ropes for another clothesline...but Mayhem catches him with one of his own! Both men are down as the ref begins a standing count:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
By now, Malice has made it back to his feet, followed closely by Antoni. The two exchange strikes, with Antoni's forearms wearing Malice down...but not enough to stop Malice from fighting back, sending the Warrior reeling with a hard right hand. Malice takes advantage of the opening, laying into Antoni with some more punches before nailing a DDT that drives Antoni headfirst into the canvas! Malice goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
KU BREAKS THE COUNT UP WITH KICK TO THE HEAD OF MALICE!
Mayhem comes running in, sending KU out of the ring with a roundhouse kick as Malice sets Antoni up for a tombstone piledriver! Mayhem knows what's up, climbing the turnbuckle before leaping off to give a little extra OOMPH on that Nail Gun! Malice goes for the cover again, and KU is still out of it on the outside!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... DAMAGE INCORPORATED!
The ref raises the duo's arms in victory as we cut to commentary.
Aiello: Heck of a contest here, and it seems that despite their best efforts KU and Malietoa were overcome by Damage Incorporated tonight!
Bennett: Malice and Mayhem want another crack at that tag team gold, and this was their first step toward that dream!
Aiello: And with that we go from dreams to nightmares, as up next we see Candy and Ruby Clifton collide in an X-Division contest!
Speaking of nightmares, we cut away from ringside to a hype package for our next BRAWL, coming to you live from Mexico City in time for the Day of the Dead celebration ...
We move to a commercial break.
HOW SWEET CAN VIOLENCE BE?
[SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES]
Candy
VS Ruby Clifton
VS Ruby Clifton
Back from commercial, we return to ringside where the tag team brawl between Kuroiki and Antoni Malietoa versus Damage Inc. just recently ended. The ring is being inspected to ensure it’s ready for the next fight. While the crew keeps doing their inspections, we cut to commentary.
Aiello: Welcome back folks, and dare I say we’re about to be in for a sweet treat with this next match. One of our newest superstars in the form of Candy will face off against Ruby Clifton.
Bennett: I guess maybe this could be exciting enough, if only because the X-Division Rules are being added in this fight. Neither of these ladies seem like crazy enough sons of bitches, but maybe one of them can prove me wrong. Take us away to introductions, Stroup!
Just as "I Want Candy" by Aaron Carter starts to play throughout the arena, fans immediately start to cheer as Candy emerges from the back all smiles as she does a little dance at the top of the stage.
Stroup: The following match is for one fall, and it is under X-Division Rules! Making her way to the ring from Candyland, please welcome...'The Sweet Treat' ... CAAAAAANDYYYYYY!
After her name is announced, Candy begins skipping her way down the aisle as she tags the outstretched hands along the way. She circles half the ring before climbing up on the apron. As she takes a seat on it, Candy blows a kiss into the crowd. She then lays back and rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. Once she's on her feet again, Candy taunts the crowd until her music subsides.
Stroup: And her opponent, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania weighing in at 122 pounds ... RUBY CLIFTON!
Light purple lights begin flicker through the arena as "Don't" by Ed Sheeran begins to blare over the speakers as Ruby Clifton steps out from behind the curtain with Black Velvet right beside her. The crowd isn't thrilled to see her as Ruby is grinning from ear to ear. She and Black Velvet walk down the ramp. Ruby slides into the ring and leans in one of the corners.
DING DING DING
Ruby dashes forward, coming at Candy with a very aggressive attitude and mindset. She attempts to behead The Sweet Treat with a Clothesline, but Candy is able to duck in time. She pulls her right arm back, trying to deliver a brutal Forearm Smash to Ruby, but Ruby catches her arm and, if anything, traps Candy’s arm in an armbar!
Fortunately, Candy is able to throw a kick right at Ruby’s midsection and force her to let go before too much damage is done. However, with her seeing how fierce and deadly her new opponent can be, she decides to be more careful.
Candy slowly circles around Ruby, trying to be more cautious. Ruby, unfortunately, isn’t as patient nor wanting to wait. She feints charging forward, causing Candy to move out of the way of an expected charge.
When she stops, however, Candy finds herself driven against the turnbuckle. A pained cry resounds from Candy as her back seems to have been hitten especially hard from the impact. Ruby smirks as she sees the agony the former Undisputed Champion is already in.
She tries to sneak a Roundhouse Kick on Candy’s head while she’s still hurting, but Candy shows she’s still able to pay attention to her surroundings by catching Ruby’s foot and shoving her away.
The two women stare at one another, nod, then each exit the ring and search underneath, going for their weapon of choice.
Aiello: And here we go folks, things are about to get violent!
Bennett: Damn right Joe, someone's gettin' hurt tonight!
The crowd pops as both come out with their respective kendo sticks; Candy is wielding her Tootsie Roll while Ruby has her diamond studded kendo stick. They begin swinging their sticks at one another, performing their own version of a lightsaber duel … but with kendo sticks.
Candy is the first to smack Ruby, as her Tootsie Roll lands harshly against Ruby’s shoulder.
Ruby grimaces and retaliates with slamming her own weapon right against the temple of Candy’s head! She makes sure to push the diamond studs deep enough that they break skin and cause Candy to bleed!
While still keeping the diamonds embedded, Ruby drags her kendo stick down, cutting a bit of Candy’s cheek.
Candy screams, managing to pull away before the damage is too severe, but the damage is still done all the same.
The lights flicker, but we can see Candy’s expression shifting between her “sweet mode” and “not-so-sweet mode” as she practically glares a hole through Ruby. Candy begins sauntering towards Ruby, who looks a bit taken aback by the new “look” her opponent suddenly has.
Suffice to say, Ruby is unable to dodge Candy as she spears her down onto the canvas. Candy then proceeds to straddle Ruby and uses every ounce of strength to slam her own Tootsie Roll down hard onto Ruby’s forehead.
The mic can vaguely pick up some frustrated lines like “You enjoy this shit, huh?!” and “Is this what you want?! Stay down and I’ll keep giving you more!” coming from the normally Sweet Treat’s mouth.
The referee finally manages to get Candy to stop. She scoffs, looking ready to slam her weapon down again … but then sees Ruby’s head very much bloodied and her opponent looking close to passing out.
That in itself gets Candy to get up and stare first at herself, horrified. Her gaze then goes to her kendo stick and she sees her actions were very much real, evidenced by the Tootsie Roll being coated in blood.
The referee, meanwhile, picks Ruby’s arm up. It falls once .. but before it can do so a second time, it stays in the air! Ruby’s not quite out of the fight! With this being seen, the fight resumes!
Aiello: Ruby still showing a lot of heart here!
Bennett: Plus she looks pissed!
Ruby is absolutely livid. She audibly curses and screams at Candy, who holds her hands up and insists that it wasn't her. The mic picks up on a “BULLSHIT!” from Ruby before she takes Candy down with a Hurricanrana! Just for good measure, Ruby adds two more hits to Candy’s legs with her kendo stick before hooking them and going for the win!
ONE!
TWO!!
THRE -- NOOOO!!
At what must have been 2.98, Candy kicks out! Ruby looks shocked, and the look only strengthens as Candy manages to thrust a knee straight into Clifton’s jaw! Candy then ascends the ropes, likely on some sort of auto-pilot mode, and leaps off! Sugar High! It lands flush!
Now Candy hooks Ruby’s legs!
ONE!
TWO!!
THREE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall, The Sweet Treat, CAAAAAANDYYYYYY!
Candy is too shocked with herself to remain in the ring. She barely even registers the fact she won. All she knows is she’s not happy with her own actions and she doesn’t want to be in front of the fans right now. She runs backstage, looking genuinely torn while trying to determine what exactly just happened.
Ruby glares after Candy, then decides to listen to her gut and chases after Candy, no doubt hoping to find The Sweet Treat and take out some more frustrations on her.
Aiello: What …. What did we even just watch? What happened with Candy out there?
Bennett: Hell if I know, but I love that version of her! Hope she brings it back! She easily could have won if she kept that side of herself!
Aiello: Folks, it's been a wild night but things are about to pick up even more as coming up next, Tyler Bradford defends the FX Broadcast Championship against Tyler Bradford!
Camera cuts to ...
The scene opens backstage with Pence Weatherlight walking around aimlessly looking for someone with a baseball bat in hand. He keeps shaking his head in frustration and cursing under his breath as clearly he isn't finding the guy that he is looking for. Pence turns around as the camera does with him as he bumps straight into Darius. He takes a step back and then smiles at him while slinging the baseball bat over his left shoulder.
Pence: Just the guy that I was looking for.
Darius raises an eyebrow at Pence while extending his hand outward, pushing Pence back a couple of inches to make room between the two.
Darius: I don't know if I want to know to be completely honest with you. Looking for me while carrying a bat around? That seems a bit threatening.
Pence lets out a little chuckle as he reaches out his hand and grasps it firmly and begins to shake it.
Pence: Don't worry, this is not for you. It has something to do with you, but I have no intention of practicing for the home run derby at your expense tonight.
He lets go of Darius' hand and then clutches the bat in both of his hands.
Pence: I know you want that FX Championship and coincidentally, I don't want Bradford to be FX Champion. Guy has no respect for the business or the title that he has. So, I'm here to offer you a little help.
Darius nods with some apprehension for a moment, then cocks his head to the side slightly.
Darius: Is that so? Do you think I can't handle Bradford on my own? Are you banking on Eddie or Gideon to interfere? Or are you just a bystander who doesn't want to see Bradford hold the strap so badly that you're willing to help another guy get it instead? That seems a bit odd in an industry where the goal is to be a champion ... So why don't you cut to the chase and tell me what you want in return for your "help", Pence.
Pence cocks his head to the side as well and then shrugs his shoulders before answering the line of questions.
Pence: I know you can handle Bradford on your own, I would never reduce myself to his level by interfering in important matches like Sabotage has been doing as of late. No, I am what you would call "insurance." Just in case Sabotage becomes involved, I will have your back. As far as the industry goes...
Pence's face which has been sporting a smile swiftly switches over to a more serious expression.
Pence: You have to be aware that both of our champions currently are idiots, right? Neither of them are respectful and both of them care so little about this brand that it reflects in their constant disappointing ventures outside of the brand and inter-brand competition. As far as I'm concerned both of them lost the right to call themselves champions a while back and in my mind...to restore Brawl to the top of the food chain in this company, we have to excise the tumors that are weakening it. Starting with Bradford.
Pence's smile returns as he uncocks his head a bit and then brings his right hand to his face, rubbing his beard.
Pence: As far as what I want for my help? That's simple. I want you to absolutely crush Bradford and become a champion that the Brawl Faithful can support with everything that they have. I don't think that is too much to ask really.
Darius lets out a quiet, yet approving scoff as he listens to Pence's plan, then simply extends his hand out toward him one more time.
Darius: I like the way you think, Pence. That sort of mindset is why you've held as many titles as you have in your previous time with us. If the situation arises, I'll look forward to you having my back out there.
Pence looks at his hand and accepts the second handshake without much thought to it and then lets go as Darius walks off to go prepare for his match. Pence on the other hand watches him as he leaves, a frown spreading across his face as he does so.
Pence: Good luck.
We move to a commercial break.
YOUNGBLOOD
THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO ITS HOME TURF!
[SINGLES MATCH]
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Darius
VS Tyler Bradford
VS Tyler Bradford
Back from commercial, we return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: Well folks, this crazy night is about to get a little crazier as we head into the first title match of the night! Darius and Tyler Bradford went to war recently for a shot at the FX Broadcast Championship, and with Tyler as the champ it all comes full circle as Darius finds himself looking to get some revenge and the title in one fell swoop!
Bennett: These two took each other to task last time, and with the belt on the line tonight it's gonna be hell, Joe!
"Burn It Down" begins to play, flames erupt from the stage below and circle the stage. After a few moments, Darius rises above the flames, gaining a mixed reaction from the crowd, but with more cheers than usual given who the opponent is …
Stroup: The following contest is for the FX Broadcast Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Albany, New York, weighing in at 265 lbs ... He is the "E of the EWC" ... DARIUS!
Darius hypes himself up, throwing devil horns to the sky for a moment as fireworks go off in a spiral behind him. Elissa then emerges from the smoke behind Darius, holding his bat over her shoulder with a sadistic grin on her face. Darius then runs through the flames and slides into the ring, looking around the arena before jumping up to his feet. Elissa starts to walk around the ring, watching Darius as he tosses his sunglasses to the side of the ring, then throws his trench coat off to the side before leaping onto one of the turnbuckles, posing with devil horns once again as he waits for the match to begin.
Stroup: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Eddie Dozier and representing Sabotage, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 223 pounds, he is the reigning and defending FX Broadcast Champion ... TYLER BRADFORD!
"Iconic" by Jaxon Gamble plays. The crowd immediately begins to boo. Tyler Bradford steps out from the back and stands at the top of the stage. Eddie Dozier follows behind, well-dressed in a navy blue suit. Dozier has the FX Broadcast Championship slung comfortably over his shoulder as if he were the actual Champion. Bradford and Dozier slowly make their way down the ramp, talking trash to all of the fans before they finally arrive at ringside. Bradford climbs up onto the ring apron and steps through the ropes. He climbs to the middle turnbuckle and raises his arms into the air. The crowd boos loudly and he just smirks smugly. Dozier lifts the FX Broadcast Championship high into the air from the floor below Bradford. Bradford descends the turnbuckle and stands waiting for the match to begin.
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings, Darius flies at Tyler and nails him in the face with a stiff forearm, followed by numerous shots to the head with closed fists! Tyler backs into the corner, doing his best to block his head with his arms, while Darius continues the strikes, landing blow after blow with a furious rage. Darius then kicks Tyler in the gut, presses him up against the turnbuckle, then attempts to whip him to the opposite corner, but Tyler shifts his weight and manages to toss Darius into the corner instead. Darius tries to move from the corner quickly, but Tyler flies at him with a low dropkick, planting both of his feet firmly into Darius’ abdomen, knocking him down to his knees!
Darius attempts to catch his breath after having the wind knocked out of him in the corner, but Tyler gives him no time to recover as he lands numerous clubbing blows onto the center of Darius’ back, refusing to let him get any air back into his lungs. Tyler then hoists Darius up by his hips and tosses him back toward the center of the ring with a picture-perfect German suplex, dazing Darius temporarily as Tyler dives down onto him for the cover!
ONE!
TW- Darius gets the shoulder up!
Aiello: Wow, Darius just manages to stay in the fight!
Bennett: Tyler's already put him through the paces here, he's gonna have to really dig deep if he wants to overcome Bradford!
Tyler starts to pick Darius up by his hair, but Darius drives the point of his elbow into Tyler’s gut, then grabs Tyler by the head and bashes his face off Darius’ knee! Darius then pulls Tyler into an inverted DDT position and plants him down to the mat, following up with a quick pinfall attempt …
ONE! Tyler kicks out as soon as the referee reaches one, but Darius gives him no time to recover as he picks Tyler up and starts Raining Elbows down onto Tyler’s skull, eventually finishing it off with a rolling elbow to the jaw! Tyler staggers back into the ropes, using them for support until Darius dives into the back of Tyler’s knee, dropping him down to the mat! Darius rolls to the outside of the ring, grabs Tyler’s right leg, then starts to slam the side of his knee into the metal ring post over and over again! Darius then starts to back up, then charges at the post, crushing Tyler’s knee between the post and a big boot from Darius!
Tyler rolls to the center of the ring, clutching his knee as he lets out a roar of pain while Darius struts on the outside, cackling over his dirty work in the ring. Darius then slides back into the ring and hooks Tyler’s left leg for the win!
ONE!
TWO!
Tyler gets his shoulder up and Darius looks on in shock!
Aiello: So close, but the champ is still in it!
Bennett: Tyler really showing his tenacity as this match goes on, Joe!
Darius looks down to Tyler with rage, but Tyler greets him with a stiff headbutt! Darius drops down onto his ass on the mat, clutching his forehead as Tyler staggers to his feet, favoring his right leg as he does. Darius looks up at Tyler as Tyler reaches down toward Darius, slapping him square across the face! Darius’ eyes go wide and his face turns into a snarl as he slowly looks back to Tyler again, only to be slapped once again!
Darius leaps up to his feet and gets in Tyler’s face and the two exchange words for a moment until Tyler attempts to slap Darius again, but Darius catches the hand to a surprising cheer from the crowd! Darius then spits in Tyler’s face, headbutts Tyler, and then grabs him by the head and starts to dig his thumbs into Tyler’s eyes! Tyler screams out in pain as the referee tries pulling Darius away, but then starts the five count for disqualification!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Darius pulls his thumbs from Tyler’s eyes and throws him into the turnbuckle before rushing at him again, connecting with a clothesline in the corner! Tyler starts to fall but Darius catches him and attempts to connect with a bulldog, but Tyler manages to hoist Darius up and plants him with a sidewalk slam! Tyler wastes no time as he spins on his heel to face Darius as he lays on the mat, then starts to drop his knee onto Darius’ face on the mat repeatedly while screaming DIE! DIE! DIE!
Tyler picks the now bloodied Darius up from the mat and holds him up against the turnbuckle, slapping him in the face over and over again before grabbing him by the face to curse him out. Tyler then backs up to the opposite side of the ring, waiting as Darius starts to stumble forward. As soon as Darius is off the turnbuckle, Tyler rushes forward and attempts to take Darius out with a knee strike, but Darius side steps him, forcing Tyler to crash his right knee into the turnbuckle! Tyler lets out a scream of pain as Darius stalks him, waiting as Tyler turns around, being greeted by a sickening Hunter’s Mark from Darius in the center of the ring! Darius hooks the leg!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner via pinfall...AND NEW FX BROADCAST CHAMPION... DARIUS!
Elissa rips the title away from Eddie as he looks on in shock, then she slides into the ring and hands the FX title to Darius. Darius starts to laugh as he raises the championship high above his head, looking down at Tyler as he grips his knee. Darius lowers the title and stomps on Tyler's knee one last time before exiting the ring with Elissa, laughing loudly as he does.
Aiello: What a war this was, folks! Sure enough, these two put it all on the line, but Darius has managed to overcome Tyler Bradford tonight and become the new FX Broadcast Champion!
Bennett: Holy shit was this a hell of a match, Joe! Tyler nearly had this match won but Darius somehow persevered, and even though Tyler may not have taken the reign TOO seriously you know he's gonna be pissed about losing tonight!
Aiello: it makes you wonder if these two are finished or if the war continues, but in the meantime we have another battle ahead of us in our main event, as King Flip looks to make the second title change of the night as he goes up against Xavier Reid for the International Championship! Don't go away, folks!
We move to a commercial break.
The camera cuts backstage and inside the Love Club locker room. The International Championship sits on a table and a dressed and ready to go Xavier Reid sits looking at it. His manager ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks into the scene
Love: You made it your mission at the start of this season to win THAT back, THAT championship that was unfairly taken away from you last season...THAT championship that you made important again...THAT championship, that was passed around like a hot potato before you won it and 2020 and after it was stripped away from you last October...THAT championship that you won back and YOU have killed yourself this season to hold up to the standard that YOU set…
Tommy walks over and places his hand on the championship
Love: This championship is viewed as the most prestigious championship in the business and it deserves a champion that can keep it at that high designation...not turn it into a shitshow of a championship...Flip doesn’t deserve this championship, hell he doesn’t even deserve to be in this match with you here tonight...this is a gift being handed to him by our GM Jimbo Connors...so let’s turn that gift into a nightmare…
Tommy smirks
Love: They want to put all their hopes in Flip and stick him inside a cage with YOU...you, the two-time X-Division Champion, are they kidding us...for a second I thought Flip might have left a deuce on Jimbo’s desk but these idiots have bought into Flip’s claim of being Xtreme, they have bought into him being an ‘X-Division’ star because what, he beat up on the bum Cain Brodie while ignoring his X-Division losses to Stitches and El Pablo...OK…
Tommy gives the ‘OK’ hand gesture
Love: Jim Connors made his intentions clear...he wants this belt off you, we saw that with our own two eyes...he would rather have this clown Flip be HIS International Champion instead of Xavier Reid, after all we have done for Brawl he’s climbing into bed with Flip...so tonight he send him a message through his boy...we leave Flip a bloody mess, we show Connors that WE ARE THE INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION...that no matter what he tries, no matter who he places in front of us...that WE WILL NOT HAND THIS CHAMPIONSHIP OVER TO HIM EVER AGAIN…
Tommy slams his hand down on the table causing Xavier to look up
Reid: Flip has been a pain in my ass from day one here on Brawl...dating back to 2015 but this match, it’s not about our past...it’s not about what happened in 2015 or 2018 and not even what happened last May...this is about the future of Brawl...about the future of the International Championship…
Xavier stands up and picks the International Championship up
Reid: I will not allow Flip to become the KING of Brawl and tonight I end any claim he has to this crown...this championship...I end his quest for championship gold and I do so out in that cage...I will use it’s brutality, it’s unforgivingness, I will use it’s violent nature to tear apart Flip, to rip open his skin and leave no doubt in anyone’s mind...tonight I will become Brawl’s KINGslayer and END Flip once and for all…
Love: And make that asshole pay for ruining my jacket…
Xavier smirks
Reid: Oh I’ll make him pay Tommy...I’ll make...him pay…
Tommy smiles as the camera cuts away as we head back to ringside!
DESPITE ALL THEIR RAGE, IT'S A KING AND A CHAMP IN A CAGE!
[STEEL CAGE MATCH]
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
King Flip
VS Xavier Reid
[STEEL CAGE MATCH]
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
King Flip
VS Xavier Reid
We return to ringside where final prep is being made for the steel cage before we go to commentary!
Aiello: It all comes down to this, folks! Back in May, King Flip defeated Xavier Reid in non-title action, and has been waiting patiently for this title shot after months of dealing with other issues. His war with Callie Clark finished, his tag team run with Jack Severn currently on the shelf after bowing out of the tag tournament...and now, his eyes are on the prize as he takes on Xavier Reid for the International Championship!
Bennett: Reid has promised that he's gonna put an end to this once and for all, and prove that he really is the top dog of the red brand!
Stroup: The following match is a steel cage match, and it is for the EWC International Championship!
K I N G F L I P zooms from right to left across the X-Tron and is followed swiftly by a small pyro. 'Machinegun' begins to play as the man in the hooded vest, head low, emerges from the curtain. He gets to the edge of the rampway when he lifts his hood to reveal that arrogant half smile.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring, hailing from the land of money and fame, weighing in at 220 pounds... Kiiiing Flip!
The lyrics chime in as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. He slides into the ring and leans against the turnbuckle with arms agape as his theme plays. He turns to the stage ready for the action to start as his theme fades. Cameras pan up to the steel cage as it slowly begins to descend. The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out.
Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his new black trunks, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape with the EWC International Championship around his waist and following him out is ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy follows from behind and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’. Tommy points to the cage as Xavier unhooks the International Championship and hands it to Tommy who raises it into the air as Xavier walks towards the ring shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. The cage reaches the canvas of the ring. Xavier storms up the steps, slips through the doorway of the cage, and climbs into the ring. Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy holds up the International Championship in the officials face and reminds him who the champion is face but the official ignores him and walks away as Tommy laughs. Xavier jumps down and squats down in the corner waiting for the bell.
Stroup: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love, from New York, weighing in at 220 pounds... He is the EWC International Champion... XAVIER REID!
Aiello: Champion and challenger are staring each other down, and we're about to find out just what these two will do to for that championship!
DING DING DING
So it begins. Both men sizing one another up as an official gets a chain around the cage door. Xavier is still stretching as Flip starts screaming something at the stage hands. Just then, Flip's previous manager Chanel hops the guardrail and slams the official's head into the cage before he can lock the door. Reid perks up as he realizes the cage door is open. Flip has his hands up and is backing away with a smile. Reid has every opportunity to make a run for it, which Tommy Love is expressing with great passion that he should do, but instead he waits. Chanel slides not one but two steel chairs into the ring. The crowd is exploding as Flip and Reid start exchanging words. Xavier is quickly up to speed on what's happening and each man in the ring grabs and sets a chair across from the other. They sit down and Flip points to his chin giving the champion first dibs. Meanwhile, Chanel has chained and locked the door, dropped the key with another ring official nearby, and leaped over the guardrail from which she came.
Xavier throws an explosive right hand to a cacophony of boos. He leaves himself open and Flip fires back with a right hand to a sea of jubilation. The boos and cheers continue in succession after each right hand, over and over, even as the pace finally begins to pick up. This continues for several minutes until neither man can hold up appearances and just start firing right hands as rapidly as they can into the other man's face. Reid pushes forward and both men topple over a chair onto the canvas. Both men continue bashing the other in the head without remorse or hesitation. They stumble about to one knee each and both bash the other's skull into the steel cage wall. Still neither gives quarter as they fumble about. Each get themselves to a chair and take a wild swing, clanging into the other's chair enough for both to jar out of their hands and onto the floor. They rush at one another and connect with clotheslines that end in both men's heads bouncing off the mat. Finally, neither man is able to immediately get back up. The violence has come to a pause.
Aiello: It's like the eye of the storm here, as both men have finally taken a short break from tearing each other apart in this match!
Bennett: Hell yeah it is, and the storm is gonna pick back up any second!
They're both slowly back on their feet but it's the champion that ducks a rolling wheel kick from the challenger. Reid connects with a standing reverse frankenstiener right onto one of the steel chairs. Tommy Love jumps in excitement to his client's first big move in the right direction, yelling for him to get the hell out of there. The International Champion appears to have other plans, however, as he blasts Flip with a chair before bracing it over one of the King's ankles. He snags the other chair and slams it into the challenger starting at the ankle and working his way up. Reid then wraps this chair around the throat of Flip, choking the man out for almost half a minute before finally letting up. The champion climbs to the top rope first and looks as if he's going to further the assault with an attack from here. He looks to the fans who seem to be egging it on. Just before he's about to take the leap, he and Tommy laugh and the resounding boos grow. Xavier turns around and continues up the cage.
Aiello: Oh come on, Xavier's taking the cheap route here!
Bennett: You can win a steel cage match one of three ways, Joe! Pinfall, submission, or escaping the cage! Reid isn't being cheap, he's being smart!
King Flip is barely able to get the chair from around his throat, sits up, and haphazardly tosses the chair at the back of the champion. It bounces off the man's back and causes him to stumble but not fall. Reid loses his footing and dangles for a few seconds, but regains himself and his ascent. Flip yanks the second chair from around his ankle and flings it even harder than the last. This one connects by the edge to the back of Xavier Reid's head. The King falls to his back, heaving given as much as he could into that throw, to what appears to be no avail at first. Then it happens. Reid drops into a moonsault of a free fall and almost lands on Flip, but the challenger sees the fall last second and just rolls out of the way. The CHK has a hand to his heart and a smile on his face as he glances over to see Tommy Love having a verbal fit. Flip has his back to the cage but seems unable to get beyond a seated position. He yanks on the ropes and the cage wall but his ankle doesn't seem to want to support any weight.
Aiello: Oh my, things have taken a turn here!
Bennett: Flip is hurt bad, Joe, and you know Reid's gonna exploit that!
The champion is back on one knee and appears to be laughing as he watching Flip struggle to even get seated onto the top rope. He starts yelling at the man, the camera picking up a "What's WRONG, Flip?" as he walks right into a Fliptastic outta nowhere! The challenger was perhaps playing possum and nailed his signature dragonrana pinning maneuver right onto a steel chair!
1 . .
Tommy Love looks like his going to have an aneurysm.
2 . .
NO! The manager grabs the stage hand nearest to him and shakes them violently until being told that Xavier Reid had in fact kicked out. Flip lies motionless as Reid rolls until his arm is over the King's chest.
1 . .
Love is now excitedly shaking the same stage hand, who seems pretty exasperated by the guy.
2 . .
No! Flip somehow has enough in the tank to raise his shoulder.
Aiello: What a close one! Flip just manages to save himself in this match!
Bennett: He's running on fumes Joe, he needs to dig in deep if he wants to overcome the champ!
Reid slowly gets to his feet, frustrated beyond belief at the fact Flip has managed to last this long. He scoffs at his challenger and finally decides to take the easy way out, telling the official at ringside to open the cage door! With the door open, Xavier starts to walk out when a shout from Flip grabs his attention. "YOU HAVEN'T KILLED ME YET!" This manages to irk Reid enough to storm back into the cage, going right back on the attack with some elbows to Flip's head. He picks the challenger up, about to slam him into the cage wall...but Flip turns things around, throwing the champion into the wall instead! He does this over and over again, before the two end up fighting all the way to the door. Tommy yells at the official to open the door back up, confident that Xavier is going to come out of there and retain...but both men come tumbling out the door as it gets open! The ref goes to check, and sees that Flip is trapped on the steel steps...and Reid has his feet on the floor itself! Tommy is beside himself, enjoying just how close this was as the ref calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via escape...AND STILL EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION... XAVIER REID!
Tommy helps Reid back to his feet, raising the champ's arm in victory to a chorus of boos as officials check on Flip on the steps. Xavier and Tommy regroup on the ramp, looking to celebrate at a safe distance as we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a match, what a brutal battle folks! These two stopped at nothing to win tonight, but in the end Reid manages to just barely escape by the skin of his teeth and retain!
Bennett: Hey man, winners know how to win, simple as that! I gotta give it to Flip here for giving Reid everything he had, but it just wasn't enough tonight!
Aiello: Reid has retained the International Championship, and now we're left to wonder who CAN dethrone the man at the top of the red brand's food chain! Folks, in two weeks EWC presents Youngblood III, but after that we head to Mexico City to celebrate the festivities of Day of the Dead! Please join us for BRAWL: Lucha de los Muertos, but until then I've been Joe Aiello alongside Steve Bennett saying so long and good night!
The last thing we see is officials aiding Flip to his feet, the battle-worn King applauded for his efforts by the crowd in Madrid as the show comes to a close.
