"Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boingo blasts in the Arena
The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #575 in Madrid.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, from Xplode defeating Shadow Man to unify the belts to footage of the men and women of BRAWL who have held the illustrious title including Ashton Drake, Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and Xavier Reid, before ending on the current champion Ace King.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, Callie Clark, Noah Hartt, King Flip, Jack Severn, Hazel Overton, Candy, Tyler Bradford, KU, Stitches, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Darius with the FX Broadcast Championship
Xavier Reid with the EWC International Championship
We're then greeted with images of the Dia de Los Muertos celebrations throughout the weekend leading up to tonigh'ts show
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

A thick layer of fog circles the arena, and camera flashes repeatedly strobe the area!
The camera feed pans to different areas in the arena and we see fans cheering in excitement!
The fans are shown smiling, laughing, and pumping their fists in excitement
as fireworks emit from each corner of the ring!
A thick layer of fog surrounds the fans from the firework display.

The show is live... and the excitement is at a fever pitch!
Signs can be seen all over the arena, some reading:
"QUE COMIENCE LA VIOLENCIA"
"¿QUIÉN CAERÁ, QUIÉN SE LEVANTARÁ?"
"TODOS SALUDAN LA X-DIVISIÓN"
"EL TEJÓN HA MUERTO, TYLER"
"¿ALGUIEN PUEDE DETENER A XAVIER REID?"
and "PREPAREJAMOS PARA BRAWL"
Aiello: Hello everyone, and hola from Mexico City! Welcome to BRAWL Lucha de los Muertos, I'm Joe Aiello alongside Hall of Famer Steve Bennett and boy, are we in for a real treat tonight!
Bennett: You're damn right about that one, Joe! We are one night removed from America's traditional celebration of Halloween, but the spooks and scares are in full force here in Mexico City, and we have some brutal bouts ahead of us!
Aiello: In our main event the FX Broadcast will be on the line as Tyler Bradford wages war once more with Darius, this time in a casket match! One of these two men will face grave consequences, and the other will leave Mexico City as champ!
Bennett: What a hell of a war that's gonna be! I can't wait to see those two tear into each other for the right to be called champ! We've also got two X-Division matches with quite a bit at stake, first when Samantha Hamilton takes on the X-Division champ himself El Pablo in non-title action, and then we'll see Ruby Clifton and King Flip square off to see who gets in on that sweet, sweet X-Division Championship match at WrestleFest XIX!
Aiello: That's right Steve, we have competitors across all four brands competing for that title at our biggest event of the year, but tonight we find out who represents the red brand! In other action we have a match that could be just as violent even without X-Division rules, as Stitches faces the International Champion Xavier Reid in non-title action, and a bout between the recently returning Callie Clark and Pence Weatherlight! Before all that, however, we have a whopper of an opening contest ahead of us as Damage Incorporated's Mayhem takes on Antoni Malietoa! All that and more when we come back!
With that, we get another look at celebrations of the past weekend!

A TAG TEAM RIVALRY BOILS DOWN!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Mayhem
VS Antoni Malietoa
VS Antoni Malietoa
Back from commercial, we return to ringside where Joe and Steve are standing by on commentary!
Aiello: We are kicking things off tonight in Mexico City with a doozy of a match or as my uncle Jeff would say a slobber mocker!!! The great warrior Antoni Malietoa will go one on one with one half of Damage Inc, the dangerous Mayhem!
Bennett: You’ve never mentioned an Uncle Jeff before… wait, is this that Old Man Jeff I've been hearing about on the Internet?
Aiello: What? No, I don't even know who you're… anyway, we have a rivalry revisited right here! Last time out on Brawl in Madrid damage Inc got the better of KU & Antoni Malietoa in a hard hitting tag team contest… Mayhems partner Malice got the pin on Malietoa that night so now it seems like it’s either Mayhems turn to do the damage to Malietoa, or it’s Malietoa’s chance at some revenge.
Bennett: Either way I can’t wait to see these two kick the shit out of each other.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall, Joining us first, one half of Damage INC... MAYHEM!
Pyro explodes across the stage. The light pulses like lightning and Lacey Savage appears wearing a skull bandanna that covers her lower face. When the lightning pulses again a thick smoke rolls in, and from the smoke come two huge figures dressed in matching leather jackets that reach all the way to their matching boots. The two men are wearing full face masks that look like skulls. Each skull face is partially covered by a bandanna, outlaw style. The two men flank Lacey and they all come to stand in the center of the stage.
Mayhem talks with Malice and Lacey for a moment before he slides underneath the bottom rope and awaits his opponent.
Stroup: And his opponent, Making his way to the ring From Apia, Samoa by way of Auckland, New Zealand weighing in at 254lbs......He is The Samoan Warrior.... ANTONI......MALI-E-TOA!
Fog engulfs the entrance ramp, highlighted by green lights as "Be Somebody" by Fort Minor begins to play throughout the arena. From the smoke emerges Antoni Malietoa with his eyes wide and arms out to his sides.
As the fog clears, Antoni takes a step forward as he psychs him self up with a yell. Antoni makes his way to the ring, he stops at the bottom of the ramp and exchanges some heated words with Malice and Lacey.
Just as Antoni turns to get into the ring Malice rushes towards him and smashes him on the back of the head with a stiff elbow. Malice then runs Antoni head first into the ring post.
Aiello: Oh come on this isn’t right! Antoni Malietoa had his back turned and Malice attacked him!!
Bennett: This is war and referee can’t do anything about it because the match hasn’t started yet, get tactics by Damage INC.
As Lacey claps her hands and looks on in delight Malice rolls Antoni into the ring as Mayhem growls at the referee to ring the bell.
DING DING DING
Mayhem picks a stunned Antoni up and then drops him back onto the mat with a Doomsday Saito Suplex. Mayhem makes the pin and sticking his tongue out to the cameras as he does, clearly thinking it’s over as the ref counts…

THR…Kickout! Antoni gets a shoulder up!
Mayhem bangs the mat in frustration before he grabs a fist full of Antoni’s hair and pulls him to his feet, after slapping Antoni full force in the face that has the crowd gasping Mayhem then attempts to hit his sunset flip pile driver he calls Pandemonium but Antoni uses his strength to body drop Mayhem straight over his head. Mayhem tries to scramble to his feet but he turns straight into a stiff forearm shot from Antoni to the jaw which sends him stumbling backwards against the ring ropes. Antoni is straight on Mayhem with aggressive intent as he plants him on the mat with a belly to belly suplex.
Instead of going for the pin Antoni gets to his feet and stares at Malice on the outside for a moment before he begins to drops multiple elbow drops straight down onto the chest of Mayhem and the red hot Mexican crowd are loving it as they count along with each one.
Aiello: The Samoan warrior is in full control now!!!!
Bennett: I got to say the crowd are fully behind him!
Antoni backs away from Mayhem, then as his opponent gets to his knees he charges and catches him on the chest with a knee strike. Antoni then picks Mayhem up and plants him back on the mat with a mountain bomb. Antoni goes for the pin…

Antoni gets to his feet and stares daggers at Malice from a moment then suddenly he rushes towards the ropes and dives over them to the outside landing straight on top of Malice.
Aiello: Antoni Malietoa goes airborne!!!
Antoni bangs on the fan barricade and gets the crowd on there feet before he turns and climbs back into the ring and straight into a roundhouse kick by Mayhem to the head. Mayhem then hits a Standing Back Flip Double Stomp on the downed Antoni before he goes for the pin…

Mayhem backs off to the corner and waits for Antoni to get to his feet and then he rushes at his opponent. Antoni leap frogs over Mayhem and when Mayhem turns around Antoni catches him with a spear! Antoni then picks Mayhem up, but before he can hit the resurrection Lacey grabs a hold of his foot from under the bottom rope. Antoni lashes out with a kick which causes her to jump back and the referee leans across the ropes and gives her a warning but his back now turned Mayhem gets to his knees and low blows Antoni. Mayhem then hits the chaos crusher and makes the pin as the referee turns his attentions back to the match…

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... ANTONI MALIETOA!!
Antoni rolls out of the ring and celebrates as Malice and Lacey check on Mayhem in the ring.
Aiello: Antoni Malietoa gets his revenge here tonight! That was a hard hitting match up!
Bennett: Congrats to Antoni but you can bet Damage INC won’t let this go easily.
Aiello: You may be right, the Samoan warrior better watch his back. We will be right back with you after this break.
With that, we cut to more footage from Dia de Los Muertos celebrations throughout the past weekend before going to commercial!
Back from commercial we're greeted by the X-Tron via satellite, people dressed as yokai creatures in samurai armour are shown drinking sake and partying in a dark room. In the middle of them is the new Indy Champion, Narumi Tsutsumi, wielding a Day of the Dead mask in her hands as she excitedly greets Brawl with Spanish subtitles.
Narumi Tsutsumi: BRAWL! MEXICO! HAPPY LUCHA DE LOS MUERTOS!
Narumi looks around with a mischievous smile, knowing she’s being naughty tonight.
Narumi Tsutsumi: I know the former Indy Champion would not be pleased with this. To peacefully appear on Brawl and especially on an anti age of enlightenment day like tonight! I don’t even know if Victor Price and Jim Connors will allow this video to reach you! But I don’t care, I’m obsessed with superstition, and therefore I love Día and Lucha de Los Muertos!
Crowd of yokai: MUERTOS! MUERTOS! MUERTOS! MUERTOS!
Narumi dances at the chant of Muertos. Afterwards, she stops to point at the camera.
Narumi Tsutsumi: And I also love all of you! Brawl, wrestling on your mighty show against your then FX Champion helped me grow as a competitor! Before coming to this big stage, I was terrified I couldn’t hang with Dio nor make use of my briefcase properly, let alone in the main event of a PPV. Taking back the night on Brawl helped me be prepared to blackout the overbearing Age of Enlightenment to begin an age of miracles and disasters on my oni land! Onigashima! Know that you’ll forever be part of what I become in the EWC!
The yokai begin partying even harder as they chug the drinks and gobble down large quantities of food. Megumi even sneaks in and snatches snacks for herself in the background. Narumi then points at her own right eye.
Narumi Tsutsumi: And El Pabloooo! I know you’re there in the arena! I have my eye on you. Aiya isn’t the only Joshi from Prime that wants something you have! Those World Tag Team Championships would make a fine part of the Senshi’s Dojo! But aside from you leaving the indies, you haven’t wantonly demeaned me and Prime like your friend Ace King has. Besides, of course, I like you. Most Joshi love your style, our in-ring style is made up of martial arts and Mexico’s own Lucha!
Crowd of yokai: LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!
Narumi does a little dance again and winks.
Narumi Tsutsumi: See, we’re interlocked, Narumi, Mexico, and Brawl! Don’t let go of me! I hope you all stick with me and tune in to see what I do on the brand of wonders known as Sunday Night Prime! See you there, byee!!!!!!
Narumi nods, hoping that ending advertisement of Prime might have fulfilled her role as Indy Champion and earned Victor’s forgiveness for her desire to be part of Lucha de Los Muertos. She flashes her mask and Indy Championship as Brawl transitions to its next portion, taking us back to ringside.
A CLASH OF CHAMPIONS WITH AN X-DIVISION FLAIR!
[SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE, X-DIVISION RULES]
Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
VS El Pablo
VS El Pablo
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by for the next match!
Aiello: Curious statement by the new Indy Champion tonight, as we get ready for our first X-Division match of the night!
Bennett: Samantha Hamilton looks to make a statement in the X-Division tonight, at the expense of El Pablo! It's champion versus champion in a non-title situation, but you know Sam's gonna treat this like the opportunity it is!
Stroup: The following non-title match is contested under X-Division rules, and scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, weighing in at 145 pounds, she is the HBO Broadcast Champion, the Titaness ... SAMANTHA HAMILTON!
'Indestructible' by Disturbed blares over the PA system. As it does, we see the forms of The Titaness, her husband, Joseph "Orion" Hunter, and 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love all standing at the top of the ramp. The Titaness saunters down the ramp, flanked by Joseph on one side and Tommy on the other.
When she finally gets to the ropes, the Titaness will slip through the middle and top ropes, waiting patiently for her opponent.
Stroup: And her opponent, from Puebla City, Mexico, weighing in at 180 pounds, he is the EWC X-Division Champion, the Technicolor Tecnico ... EL PABLO!
A cry of “VIVA LA RAINBOWLUTION!!!” leads to ‘Party Hard’ by Andrew WK hitting the soundsystem, as the stage and ringside area becomes bathed in flashing, flickering, brightly-coloured lighting. As the main hook hits, El Pablo bursts through the curtain, playing to the fans and chugging Skittles like a Steveweiser while both the X-Division and Tag Team Championship belts glisten around his shoulder and waist respectively. He charges down the ramp and slides under the ropes into the ring, then runs up the turnbuckle and holds the title belt high above his head to another pop from the adoring crowd. After offering a final salute, he hops back down to the canvas, handing his belt to the referee and performing a few final stretches as his music fades.
DING DING DING
As the bell rings, Hamilton immediate rushes the X-Division Champion with a flurry of offense, looking to make a statement against the brother of her fellow Xtreme Ravager by laying in some hard kicks to wear El Pablo down. This method seems to work as Pablo eventually drops to a knee, giving the Titaness an opening to drop him with a DDT to the canvas! She smiles as she rolls out of the ring, immediately looking for a weapon underneath the ring...and coming across a kendo stick! She slides back into the ring, kendo stick in hand as she gets to her feet. She rears back, taking a swing at the champ...who dodges it at the last second!
Pablo unleashes a flurry of offense that forces the Titaness to drop the kendo stick, sending her to the corner where he goes for a corner splash...but Hamilton quickly jumps out of the way, forcing the champ to crash against the top turnbuckle! Titaness with a neckbreaker now, driving Pablo head first into the canvas! She turns her attention back to the kendo stick, quickly grabbing it before taking another swing at the Technicolor Tecnico...this time connecting! A sickening crack can be heard with each swing, as she hits the champ several times before dropping the kendo stick and going for a cover!
ONE!
TW--NO! PABLO KICKS OUT!
Aiello: Wow, close call there but Pablo manages to show his fighting spirit!
Bennett: His spirit's gonna be broken like a KitKat bar if he ain't careful!
Hamilton is showing some signs of frustration as she quickly rolls back out to the ring, looking for something that can do a bit more damage...but the time wasted on this search gives Pablo an opening as he runs the ropes, leaping over the top with a plancha onto the Titaness! The crowd roar in approval as both competitors slowly get to their feet, eventually trading lefts and rights until Hamilton sends Pablo careening into the steel steps with a thud!
With the Technicolor Tecnico down, Hamilton searches under the ring apron once more...this time pulling out a steel chair! She's got a look of bad intent in her eyes as she walks over to Pablo who's still leaned over the steel steps. She rears back, swinging the chair...but Pablo once again narrowly avoids disaster, the chair hitting the steps with a loud clang! Hamilton turns to face Pablo, charging at him with the chair...but Pablo hits a drop toe hold, sending the Titaness face first into the chair instead!
Aiello: What impact from that drop toe hold! Hamilton looks out of it!
Bennett: She'd better get it back into gear if she wants to win this one!
Pablo picks up the Titaness, bringing her back into the ring in the hopes of ending this match soon...but Hamilton has other ideas, getting the drop on him with a headbutt right to the jaw! This sends Pablo reeling back, allowing her an opening that she uses to great effect by pulling him down to the canva by the mask! Hamilton grabs the champ's arms before stomping away at the head of Pablo! A BIG OL' FUCK YOU STOMP TO EL PABLO, A NOD TO HIS BROTHER XAVIER REID FOR GOOD MEASURE!
Hamilton's frustration has been building up to this very moment as she goes to the outside once more, pulling out an unfinished wooden door from underneath the ring! She gets a wicked grin on her face as she brings the door into the ring, setting it up between the ropes before getting Pablo up to his feet. She leaps upon his shoulders, looking for that Frankensteiner to send him through the door...but Pablo stops it, sending her through with a desperation powerbomb instead! Hamilton is down and out, and Pablo just barely has the energy to make the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... EL PABLO!
The ref helps Pablo up to his feet, raising his arm in victory as we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a match this was, folks! These two really went at it, bringing a smattering of weapons into play before Pablo just manages to pull off the win!
Bennett: Damn close one if you ask me, Joe! Hamilton really took it to Pablo tonight, that much is for sure!
Aiello: Folks, we'll be back shortly with our next match but I'm hearing there's an announcement incoming from our General Manager!
Camera cuts to ...
As we head backstage, we find ourselves greeted by the General Manager of BRAWL, but Jim Connors does not look too cheery and his tone matches the seriousness of the situation.
Connors: Fans, I need to address the situation that's been brewing the past few weeks regarding Damage Incorporated and the duo of Antoni Malietoa and KU. As you saw tonight, the situation has bubbled over into singles competition with Mayhem taking on Malietoa...and I can now confirm that we will see this situation conclude at both the BRAWL season closer in New York AND at WrestleFest XIX!
That last statement has lightened the mood slightly, echoed by a cheer from the crowd as Connors continues.
Connors: In a couple weeks, we will see KU face Malice in singles competition when the red brand makes its last stop on the Season 22 tour, and during WrestleFest XIX weekend we WILL see these teams face off once more to, hopefully, resolve things once and for all!
This gets a big pop from the crowd in Mexico City, as we move to a commercial break.
Back from commercial, the X-Tron flickers on with more images from Dia de los Muertos celebrations throughout the weekend!
With that we cut back to ringside for more action on Monday Night BRAWL!
FINDING AN X-TREME DANCE PARTNER FOR WRESTLEFEST!
[SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES, WINNER ADVANCES TO X-DIVISION TITLE MATCH AT WRESTLEFEST XIX]
Ruby Clifton
VS King Flip
VS King Flip
We return to ringside where Stroup stands ready to introduce the next bout's competitors.
Aiello: Here we go, folks! Our second X-Division match of the night! Earlier we saw El Pablo fight off a very game Titaness in non-title action, but now we see who advances to face him for the title come WrestleFest!
Bennett: I have full confidence that either Ruby Clifton or King Flip will represent the red brand well at our biggest event of the year, Joe!
Stroup: The following match is an X-Division match scheduled for one fall, with the winner advancing to the X-Division Championship match at WrestleFest XIX!
K I N G F L I P zooms from right to left across the X-Tron and is followed swiftly by a small pyro. 'Machinegun' begins to play as the man in the hooded vest, head low, emerges from the curtain. He gets to the edge of the rampway when he lifts his hood to reveal that arrogant half smile. Little does he realize Ruby Clifton sneaking through the curtain with a baseball bat.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring, hailing from the land of money and fame, weighing in at 220 pounds... Kiiiing Flip!
The lyrics chime in as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. Some fans try to get Flip to turn around but he seems distracted and isn't listening to them. Ruby Clifton rushes from behind and nails the King in the back. This takes Flip to one knee, wincing and screaming in pain. Ruby winds up for a swing much to the chagrin of the crowd. She takes a powerful swing for the dome. Flip barely rolls out of the way in time. He warbles to his feet and rolls into the ring. Ruby regains her footing after missing such a wild swing and follows him in.
Aiello: I guess this match is underway!
DING DING DING
Ruby takes golf swing after golf swing at Flip's legs and shoulders, pounding the man into the canvas with the bat. She takes a moment to relish in the chorus of jeers, egging the crowd to get louder as she places the bat in a corner and begins to remove the turnbuckle. Flip is groaning and rolling until he's out of the ring and has fallen to the thinly-padded concrete. Clifton just realizes that he's gone after getting the turnbuckle pad off. She tosses the pad at the referee in frustration, grabs her bat, and goes after him.
The man has just enough to use the guardrail to stand up and push himself away when Ruby Clifton comes down with another swing of the baseball bat. It jars out of her hand when she slams it down onto the guardrail. She screams out and nails a barely standing opponent with a dropkick into the steel steps. Flip is standing with an arm on the stairs and the other on the ring apron. After getting back to her feet, Ruby attempts a hurancanrana but her opponent has just enough in him to stop her momentum. She flails about as he lifts her up. Three right hands right to the dome. She rights herself on his shoulders, grabs his head with both hands, then hops up to swing herself into position on the King. Victory roll!
1 . .
2 . .
No! Kickout by King Flip.
Aiello: Close call there by Clifton, but Flip manages to stay in the fight!
Bennett: Let's do it to it, Ruby! Show him what you're made of!
"C-H-K! C-H-K! C-H-K!"
Clifton yells out at the 'morons' before connecting with a fish hook neckbreaker right on the rampway. She gets back up, lifts Flip, and whips him hard into the ring apron. The chant dies down when it's obvious that he isn't making any sort of headway. Clifton hits him with another dropkick into the ring apron when he takes a few fumbling steps away from it. Ruby swiftly gets up and whips him into the ring, following him in and stalking from behind. She jumps on him when he finally gets onto one knee.
Ruby Clifton with the rear naked choke! She locks her legs around him to finalize what she calls the Fifty Shades of Red! Flip has nowhere to go and no rules to get him out of the maneuver. This does seem to have the opposite effect, however, as his eyes fire open and he deadlifts 122 pounds of Ruby on his back. He fumbles backward into a corner, banging Ruby's head into the turnbuckle. She isn't letting up for a second.
Flip's second wind is fading as he drops to a knee. He seems to be losing consciousness. Before the referee can grab his hand, he fires up again and makes a bull run into the opposite corner. Flip ducks the top turnbuckle, but Ruby can't! She slams face first into the exposed turnbuckle and screams out in pain while completely loses her grip.
Aiello: Oh man, that's gotta hurt!
Bennett: Oh lord, she's busted open Joe!
Blood flows from Clifton's forehead as she stumbles to her feet. Flip has barely stopped his coughing fit and pushed off the corner. Ruby springboards off the ropes with a savate kick. Shiny New Tools! She goes for the cover!
1 . .
2 . .
No! King Flip barely gets the shoulder up. Ruby Clifton is furious, arguing with the referee that this was in fact a three count. She shows her disagreement with a scowl as she lifts Flip up. Wait a minute! Small package outta nowhere!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall, and advancing to the X-Division Championship at WrestleFest XIX... KING FLIP!
Flip manages to get to his feet, the ref raising his arm in victory as we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a battle these two had! Ruby showed a lot of guts there, but King Flip with a big win tonight!
Bennett: Flip, I swear you'd better win that belt at WrestleFest or I'm gonna...
Aiello: Folks, up next we have Pence Weatherlight taking on Callie Clark! Don't go away!
We cut to more images from Dia de los Muertos celebrations over the weekend before going to commercial ...
GETTING BACK INTO THE CHASE!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Pence Weatherlight
VS Callie Clark
VS Callie Clark
Back from commercial, we return to ringside where we get set for our next match.
Aiello: And now we are set to see Pence Weatherlight, who recently made his return, take on Callie Clark!
Bennett: That damn Callie Clark sure is a firecracker... but she's more like a dud. She can't get it done in the ring and she's shown that time and time again.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, from Hershey, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 245 pounds ... PENCE WEATHERLIGHT!
The screen in the arena bursts to static as the beginning of "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum" by A Perfect Circle begins to play. The lights begins to flicker on an off in the arena as a man emerges on the entrance ramp, the fans begin to cheer as they realize it is none other than Pence Weatherlight. Pence stands on the ramp looking around at all the fans in attendance as the lights continue to flicker on and off as air raid horns begins to play in the background adding more to the beat and rhythm of the music. He begins to march his way down the entrance ramp, slowly, and methodically taking his time as he continues to observe the fans and his opponent in the ring. Pence takes a deep breath as he reaches the steps, pausing again to look at all the fans in attendance before his eyes land on his opponent as he glares at them with intensity.
Pence makes his way up the steps and calmly enters the ring, removing his eyes from his opponent as he walks over to the corner opposite of them, and steps up on to the turnbuckle as he continues to glance around the arena at all the fans who continue to cheer. Pence begins to pop his knuckles as he jumps off the turnbuckle to face his opponent again as he begins to stretch in preparation for the bout he is about to undertake.
Stroup: And his opponent, from New York City ... CALLIE CLARK!
A red carpet is rolled out going from the stage to the bottom of the ramp, and "Bad Reputation" hits. Callie Clark comes out with Tori walking out behind her and strikes a pose as pyro goes off behind her. Callie's paparazzi takes pictures of her as she walks down the ramp, taunting the fans as she goes. As she reaches ringside, Tori goes ahead of Callie, holding open the ropes so Callie can step through and walk to the middle of the ring where she strikes a pose again while winking at the camera. She then goes to her corner as the music cuts.
DING DING DING
The bell rings and these two get started. Callie goes after Pence with a running knee strike to the stomach, but Pence catches her knee and turns it into a t-bone suplex. Callie hops right back up to her feet, however, and quickly lands a dropkick to Pence's right knee. He drops down to one knee. Callie bounces off of the ropes and Pence is up. Callie goes for a sling blade. Pence ducks under it. He spins around and grabs Callie and puts her into a full nelson. Callie writhes around and tries to free herself.
She makes her way over to the corner where she puts both feet on the middle turnbuckle and pushes back hard, dropping Pence to the mat on his back! His shoulders are down, but before the referee can even get down for a one count, Pence releases the full nelson and shoves her off of him. Both are back up to their feet. Callie lays into Pence's chest with a hard knife-edge chop. And a second. She pushes him back into the ropes. She grabs his wrist and goes for an Irish-whip. Pence reverses it into a rip-cord and pulls her up on his shoulders. He drives her into the mat with a Samoan drop and goes for the cover!
ONE!

.
TWO!!
.
.
Kickout!
Aiello: Pence nearly had that one quick!
Bennett: Callie knows how to stay alive in a situation like this, though!
Pence gets up to a knee and grabs Callie by the head and puts her in a sleeper hold. He uses all of his power and strength to clamp down on her head. The referee checks for consciousness and a submission. Callie emphatically tells him to "piss off" and the referee backs up. She starts to get up to her feet. Callie drives an elbow into his gut. And another. Finally, a third breaks the hold.
Pence goes back in to grab Callie, but a spinning back fist connects with his jaw, followed by a clothesline and sends him rolling out of the ring. He grabs his jaw and wiggles some stiffness out of it. He slides back into the ring and is met by a stomp to the back of his head. He fights his way up to his feet despite kicks to the head. He reaches up and grabs her leg as she kicks. Dragon screw leg-whip!
Aiello: Oh my, what impact!
Bennett: This could be a turning point, Joe!
Pence decides that the end is near. He lifts Callie up to her feet. She drives a hard elbow into his chin. She swings hard with a right haymaker and Pence ducks. He lifts her up into the torture rack! He's going for the Last Will and Testament! But before he can hit the burning hammer, he is drilled in the back of the head with a steel chair!
DING DING DING
Aiello: What the... what is Eddie Dozier doing out here?! What is he even doing at Brawl?! And why did he just nail Pence Weatherlight with a steel chair?
Bennett: I'm not sure. From what I remember, Eddie Dozier can't stand Callie Clark. Maybe he's just intentionally disqualifying her... or maybe not! Look!
As he says this, Callie Clark is ascending the turnbuckle in the corner. Dozier drops Weatherlight on the steel chair with The End! He rolls Pence over onto his bag and Callie leaps off, nailing a perfectly-executed Calliesault! The crowd boos loudly as Tyler Bradford has now come out to ringside. He tosses something in the ring to Dozier. Dozier turns to Clark, and hands the object to her. Callie smiles and unrolls a SABOTAGE T-SHIRT!
Aiello: No way! Callie Clark has joined Sabotage?!
Bennett: It sure as hell appears so! And she just got a whole helluva lot cooler!
The trio exit the ring and the ringside area, making their way up the ramp laughing and smiling. The crowd boos them loudly as a referee is in the ring helping Weatherlight to his feet.
Stroup: And your winner, via disqualification... PENCE WEATHERLIGHT!
"Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum" begins to play again. The crowd cheers as the referee raises his hand. Pence uses his free hand to clutch the back of his head as he stares angrily up the ramp.
Aiello: Well, Pence Weatherlight picks up the win, but it's definitely not how he expected it to go, Steve.
Bennett: It was better than I could ever imagine! And now Sabotage has grown, once again! Let's just hope that Callie Clark doesn't bring the greatest faction in the world down by being in it!
Aiello: I can't help but wonder how Pence is going to deal with this as he continues to make his climb up the ranks in EWC. Folks, in just a moment we're gonna see a clash between Stitches and Xavier Reid in non-title action, don't go away!
With that, we cut to more images from Dia de los Muertos celebrations during the weekend before going to commercial ...
The camera cuts backstage inside Arena Coliseo and inside the Love Club locker room where we find Xavier Reid with his back towards the camera as he pulls the black and white mask of El Xavier over his head. There sitting on the bench is his father, Chico Volando, who watches with a smile on his face. The door opens and ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love peeks his head in.
Love: Are we good here?
Chico nods as he ties the back of El Xavier’s mask up. Tommy looks on, shakes his head and says under his breath...
Love: This isn’t going to sit well with May…
Chico taps his son on the head letting him know it’s good and El Xavier turns around to face his manager, who is holding the EWC International Championship over his shoulder
Love: I have to be honest with you...I never thought I’d see the day you put on a mask but it does look good on you...in fact…
Tommy looks at Chico who nods
Love: I think your grandfather and great grand pops would be proud if they were here today…
Chico nods
Volando: He would be proud of BOTH of my son’s, both here in the EWC, BOTH EWC champions, Pablo the X-Division Champion and Xavier the International Champion…
Love: Vertigo on the verge of maybe one day saying his first words...
Tommy smiles as Chico gives him a look
Volando: They would BOTH be proud of Vertigo as well and all he’s done…
Tommy pauses for a moment thinking about just what Vertigo has done but Chico continues
Volando: Our family has been a staple of Mexican Wrestling for generations and to have BOTH of my son’s carrying on that tradition here today...it would make every Volando that came before us proud...and the fact that you Xavier, after all that’s happened, are standing here tonight, in that mask, representing my family…
Chico stops as he looks at Xavier in the black and white mask
Volando: They would be just as proud as I am tonight…
Tommy smiles as he looks at his friend
Love: You know Chico, you and I could also honor your family tonight by ‘masking’ up…
But Chico waves him off
Volando: Tommy nobody wants to see you in a gimp mask and this isn’t about me...tonight is about Xavier paying respect to our family. Stitches isn’t going to know what hit him when you walk out to those cheers, in that mask…
Xavier: Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, our chance to honor those that are no longer with us and for you Chico, I will honor those Volando’s that are no longer with us...while I try to add to the dead…
Volando: Stitches…
Xavier: El Payaso, the clown...he has come to Brawl, with hope of the success he’s had in Prime and the FSW/Paramount and I get it...everywhere he’s gone he’s been a star right, Indy Champion, TV Champion, FSW Champion, Undisputed and then X-Division Champion, his resume reads like mine if I’m being honest but this is the first time we both call a brand home at the same time...and there is only room for one Alpha…
Love: We’ve slayed the Beast, ended the Party and Jamie Lannister’ed Flip…
Xavier: And yet the next ‘hope’ presents itself here tonight in the form of a clown who is looking to kick start his 2021 season with a win over the International Champion but he’s walking into my house at the wrong fucking time...I understand what this match COULD mean...it could punch Stitches ticket to WrestleFest and a shot at my International Championship so I’m going to end any thought of that right here and now and he walks into my home...Mexico...the country that birthed my father and has my back here tonight…
Volando: They are going to love you…
Love: They better…
Xavier: They will, they love the Volando’s...and I honor them tonight with a blood sacrifice...I give them another soul to honor here tonight, I will give them Stitches and I’ll even light a candle for him tomorrow, to honor the dead…
Love: Well the death of any chance to challenge you for the International Championship…
Xavier: Tonight I go out there, not as Xavier Reid but as El Xavier, the son of Chico Volando, the grandson and great grandson of Sr. Volando Jr and Sr. Volando...I will be the next great Volando and I will do so by beating Stitches here on Lucha de los Muertos...so Tráeme el payaso…
Chico smiles
Volando: Bring on the clown…
Love: Let’s go wreck his world…
El Xavier nods as he heads towards the door, and we get one last look at him before cutting back to ringside...
A VIOLENT COLLISION AWAITS!
[SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE]
Stitches
VS Xavier Reid
VS Xavier Reid
We return to ringside where the match leading up to the main event is about to take place. We cut to commentary while last minute inspections are being finished up.
Aiello: Welcome back everyone, and we hope you’re having a muy buenas noches y un increíble Día de Muertos. We’re about to see what we’re pretty sure of a first ever confrontation in a singles fight between two of our absolute best wrestlers not only in Brawl, but the entire company. The recently dethroned Stitches will face off against … El Xavier, if I understood his promo correctly.
Bennett: … You’re not serious with that El Xavier shit, are you? Hell no! He’s just Xavier Reid! Look, if he wants to partake in his heritage and shit, that’s all well and good. But he’s gonna need to be even crazier than a sonuvabitch like Stitches to win. Putting a mask on --
Bennett stops in mid sentence, staring at Joe while trying to get a read off of his colleague. After a bit, he shakes his head and waves his head dismissively through the air.
Bennett: I guess we’ll find out soon. Stroup … even if I kinda don’t want you, take us away.
Stroup: The following match is for one fall! Joining us first, from The Carnival Of Shattered Dreams, weighing in at 260 pounds ... STITCHES!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide. Stitches enters the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out
The Mexico City crowd pops as ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks out onto the stage and is followed out by a black and white masked Xavier Reid, his hands are wrapped in black tape with the EWC International Championship over his shoulder. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy follows from behind and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’. Tommy points to the ring as Xavier hands him the International Championship and Tommy leads the way, holding the championship in the air. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the ring, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy holds up the International Championship in the official's face and reminds him who the champion is.
Stroup: And being accompanied to the ring by 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love, from New York, weighing in at 220 pounds ... He is the EWC International Champion and here tonight to honor the Volando’s who are no longer with us on this, The Day of the Dead, he is… EL XAVIER!
DING DING DING
The two wrestlers are quick to lock up in the center of the ring. Although Stitches has both the height and weight advantage, Xavier is holding his own pretty well. El Xavier attempts to get the upper hand - or leg, rather - by throwing some kicks at Stitches’ kneecaps. The Clown winces, but doesn’t let go. Stitches manages to block out the pain well enough to lift Reid up into a Sidewalk Slam!
Xavier grimaces, but manages to get back to a vertical base. Stitches charges forward, but this time, Reid is ready. He slips behind Stitches and flips him over with a Standing Reverse Frankensteiner! The cheers from the crowd get louder as they watch El Xavier grab Stitches by his hair and slam a knee straight into the clown’s spine!
Stitches, however, refuses to go down alone. As he collapses back to the canvas, he grabs tightly onto Reid’s left arm and begins twisting it in a makeshift armbar!
Aiello: Stitches looking to tear Xavier's damn arm off!
Bennett: See, that's what I was talking about!
Three kicks to the side of Stitches’ head allows Xavier to get his arm free. He tries to shake it and make a fist several times to get blood flowing again. While El Xavier is busy with that, Stitches takes advantage of his opponent’s predicament and grabs Reid by the shoulders. One headbutt becomes two, then three … he’s not done?! No! Four and finally five!
Both men are busted open! The clown isn’t furious, no no. He is pissed off, and even though this isn’t an X-Division Rules fight, he’s not holding back, either!
With Stitches now literally seeing red, he begins trying to lift Xavier up once again. But El Xavier isn’t having any of it this time. He slams a knee straight into Stitches’ jaw, then goes to the ropes. El Xavier double and even triple checks, and when he sees Stitches looking still dazed, he leaps off … ¡AY DIOS MÍO!
Right before Reid can land the Red Arrow, Stitches manages to back away, albeit shakily, causing El Xavier to kiss the canvas face first!
Stitches rolls Reid onto his back and covers, but Xavier gets a shoulder up at two! Stitches shakes his head disapprovingly but backs away to allow Reid to get up to his feet.
Aiello: Stitches still keeping firm control of the pace in this match!
Bennett: Reid really needs to pull his head together here!
While Reid is getting back up to his feet, the audience begins to chant, hoping the words will inspire El Xavier.
¡MATAR AL PAYASO!
¡MATAR AL PAYASO!
¡MATAR AL PAYASO!
¡MATAR AL PAYASO!
¡MATAR AL PAYASO!
Xavier flashes the audience a coy grin, acknowledging he has heard and understood them. El Xavier turns just barely in the nick of time to avoid a Lethal Lariat that would have beheaded him! Reid uses every ounce of strength to lift Stitches up onto his shoulders! The cheering of the crowd helps keep El Xavier focused as he follows through with his finisher, Xplode!
It lands flush! As Daniels begins to slap the mat, the audience counts along!
¡UNO!
¡¡DOS!!
¡¡¡TRE -- ¡¿QUÉ?! ¡¿NO?!
Even Xavier looks shocked as Stitches gets a shoulder up. Stitches swiftly gets up and takes advantage of El Xavier being stuck in shock to use his own technique, The Sound Of Silence! He covers!
¡UNO!
¡¡DOS!!
¡¡¡TRES!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall STITCHES!
Both Tommy Love and Samantha Hamilton, who quietly came down to ringside during the fight, enter the ring. Only Tommy, however, makes it to Xavier as Stitches grabs Samantha by the hair, forcing her to look right at him. The mic can’t quite pick up what he’s saying, but we can guess well enough given the sight of Stitches pointing to El Xavier and then back at himself.
Samantha gives Stitches a firm nod, who merely smirks and shoves her towards Tommy and Xavier before finally exiting the ring.
The Titaness glares furiously, looking as if she wants to throw some punches towards Stitches. A tug on her arm makes her look over and decide against it as Sam’s attention goes to Xavier, and she begins helping Tommy get her comrade out of the ring. She gives Stitches a few sideways glances while leaving, but keeps her calm in order to avoid leaving her friend.
Stitches, meanwhile, is greeted by boos. While he celebrates his victory in the ring, we cut to commentary.
Aiello: Love him or hate him, Stitches proved once again why he’s one of the best here.
Bennett: Xavier should have come out as his normal damn self. Now look at what he’s done! He came out in that silly mask and made a fool not only of himself, but his ancestors!
Aiello: Folks, up next is our main event as the FX Broadcast is on the line in a...wait a minute...
The celebration for Stitches is cut short as the X-Tron flickers on, revealing a very familiar face silently watching over an old rival...
Just as quickly, the X-Tron cuts to static before shutting off, leaving a now-frustrated Stitches in the ring as we cut backstage!
We are once again in the office of Jim Connors, who is shouting back at someone who's clearly angry over something. Jim's final words give us an understanding of what that situation is, however!
Connors: I know, I know...I don't know what Callie is doing hanging around with Sabotage either! That said, you did in fact win tonight, so I'm going to give you an opportunity at our season closer! When the red brand comes to the Big Apple, you Pence Weatherlight get a shot at the FX Broadcast Championship! How's that sound?
The crowd cheers the announcement, a sentiment shared by the now-calmed voice of Weatherlight who shakes hands with Connors. On that big announcement, we cut to commercial!
A REMATCH WITH GRAVE CONSEQUENCES!
[CASKET MATCH]
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Tyler Bradford
VS Darius
[CASKET MATCH]
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Tyler Bradford
VS Darius
We are back from our final commercial of the night, returning to ringside where a casket is placed next to the ring before we go to commentary!
Aiello: It all comes down to this, folks! Our main event, with Tyler Bradford looking to reclaim the FX Broadcast Championship...but he'll need to go through Darius!
Bennett: One of these men is going to leave Mexico City as champion, and the other will...face...grave consequences!
Stroup: The following match is a casket match, and it is for the EWC FX Broadcast Championship! The only way to win the match is by placing your opponent into the coffin and closing the lid! And now, being accompanied to the ring by Eddie Dozier and representing Sabotage, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 223 pounds ... TYLER BRADFORD!
"Iconic" plays through the arena as Tyler Bradford makes his way to the stage amongst a chorus of boos. On this evening, he pays no mind to the hate as Eddie walks with him to the ring, Tyler's eyes showing his determination to become a champion once again here in Mexico City.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Albany, New York, weighing in at 265 pounds, He is the “E of EWC” and the FX Broadcast Champion ... DARIUS!
"Burn It Down" begins to play, flames erupt from the stage below and circle the stage. After a few moments, Darius rises above the flames, gaining a mixed reaction from the crowd, but with more cheers than usual given who the opponent is …
Darius hypes himself up, throwing devil horns to the sky for a moment as fireworks go off in a spiral behind him. Elissa then emerges from the smoke behind Darius, holding his bat over her shoulder with a sadistic grin on her face. Darius then runs through the flames and slides into the ring, looking around the arena before jumping up to his feet. Elissa starts to walk around the ring, watching Darius as he tosses his sunglasses to the side of the ring, then throws his trench coat off to the side before leaping onto one of the turnbuckles, posing with the FX Broadcast championship high above his head.
Aiello: There's a solemn feeling in the arena here, folks...not only is this a big fight feel, but something much darker, more sinister...
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings, Darius backs away from Tyler, drops down to the mat, and rolls out of the ring. Tyler throws his hands up in confusion, but then watches as Darius opens the casket, grinning widely at Tyler as he does. Tyler’s eyes then grow wide as he watches Darius pull a duffel bag from the casket, numerous weapons sticking out of the bag’s opening. Darius slides back into the ring with the bag in hand and then stands up tall, pulling a glass tube from the bag!
Aiello: I...oh, no.
Bennett: Holy shit Joe, this is gonna get ugly quick!
Darius then tosses the bag at Tyler, who swipes the bag away, but then Darius swings the tube down onto Tyler’s forehead, making it explode into a cloud of glass shards! Tyler stumbles back, screaming out in pain as he holds his face in his hands, but Darius gives him no time to recover as he rushes forward and drives a big boot to the side of Tyler's head, knocking him back into the turnbuckle!
Darius jumps onto the second rope and mounts over Tyler, landing a few shots to the forehead with closed fists before switching to his elbows, landing blow after blow until Darius drops from the turnbuckle, spins on his heel, and finishes his Raining Elbows signature with a rolling elbow in the corner!
Darius leaves a now bloodied Tyler in the corner as he makes his way back to the bag in the ring. He lifts the bag up and dumps the contents onto the mat, revealing a bat wrapped in cloth, a kendo stick, a golf club, a plastic bag filled with sugar skulls, a burlap sack, a hockey mask, and a machete! Darius picks up the mask, puts it on, then takes the machete into his hand.
Aiello: Darius going into a much darker place to keep the title!
Bennett: The man must have his calendar all wrong, it's not Friday the 13th!
Darius marches toward Tyler and raises the machete high in the air, but Tyler swings his foot forward and kicks Darius right between the legs! Darius drops his machete as he reaches for his groin, so Tyler kicks it out of the ring before grabbing Darius by the head to plant him with a running cutter, knocking the mask off Darius face!
Tyler looks at the weapons around the ring and waves them off, but then he looks at the bag of sugar skulls. He takes the bag and pulls one of the skulls out, tasting it before giving a look of disgust as he spits on Darius. Darius gets onto his knees but Tyler gives him no time to recover as he slams the sugar skull across Darius' head, shattering the skull onto hundreds of sugary pieces.
Tyler then grabs Darius from behind by the hips, hoists him up and over, and slams Darius onto the remaining skulls with a German suplex! Darius rolls around on the mat clawing at his back as Tyler sits up with a sadistic grin smeared across his face.
Aiello: Tyler really enjoying that bit of damage on the champ!
Bennett: He's gonna do whatever he damn well needs to to win that belt back!
Tyler gets back to his feet and drags Darius toward the casket before dropping his knee onto Darius' skull repeatedly. Tyler then tries pushing Darius into the casket, but Darius wraps his arms and legs around the ropes so he won't fall in! Tyler lets out a frustrated roar then grabs Darius by the hair, dragging him away from the ropes. Tyler then picks Darius up to his feet, but Darius elbows him in the gut, then sucker punches him on the jaw!
Tyler takes a step back with an annoyed look on his face, but before he can react, Darius rushes forward and drops Tyler with a sling blade! Tyler quickly gets back to his feet but soon after hoisted up by Darius and planted with a spinebuster in the center of the ring! Darius breathes heavily as he looks at the weapons scattered across the ring, eventually taking the kendo stick in his hands!
Tyler gets to a knee but then feels the kendo stick lash across his back with a sickening snap! Tyler arches his body forward with pain, only for Darius to add onto that pain with a kendo stick shot to the forehead! Tyler spins around and starts to fall forward, but Darius runs up behind up and catches him with a bulldog, planting Tyler face first in front of the casket!
Aiello: Oh my, that's bad news for Tyler Bradford!
Bennett: How much more is Darius gonna dish out!?
Darius slides out of the ring then grabs Tyler by the legs, dragging Tyler closer to the casket until one of his legs is dangling inside of it. Instead of pulling Tyler further, Darius instead slams the lid down, crushing Tyler's knee between the coffin and the lid!
Tyler jerks his leg back and grips his knee, howling with pain as Darius reaches into the casket again, this time pulling a chain from inside. Darius slides into the ring and starts to spin the chain in his hand, yelling at Tyler to get up. As soon as Tyler gets to his feet, Darius rushes forward with the chain …
But Tyler ducks under Darius, using his strength to pick Darius up and throws him onto the top rope! Darius bounces off the rope and lands INSIDE THE COFFIN! Tyler quickly turns to go shut the lid, but he drops onto his leg as the other one throbs with pain from being crushed! Tyler limps his way to the coffin and slams down on the lid … but Darius kicks his feet up, stopping the lid from being shut and sending the lid right into Tyler's face and avoiding a loss!
Aiello: Oof, another hit to the face on Tyler!
Bennett: I said this was gonna be ugly, Joe...this just ain't what I had in mind!
Tyler stumbles back to the center of the ring and grabs the burlap sack into his hand while Darius climbs back into the ring. Darius rushes forward and connects with a Hunter's Mark in the center of the ring, but Darius lets out a scream of pain as he rolls around holding his forehead!
Tyler coughs as he holds his midsection, but then laughs as he holds the sack up in his right hand; when Darius connected with the spear, Tyler slammed the bag into his face! Darius sits up as blood starts to trickle down his face, watching as Tyler pulls a handful of thumbtacks from the bag. Both men get back to their feet dawning crimson masks, then meet in the center of the ring to battle!
Tyler throws the tacks at Darius but Darius dodges them! Darius then hits Tyler with a stiff strike to the jaw, but Tyler responds with a burlap sack filled with tacks assisted uppercut to Darius! Darius stumbles back into the ropes, leading to Tyler rushing forward with an attempt to take Darius' head off with his patented running knee, striking Darius on the side of the head!
Tyler then dumps the tacks onto the mat, then grabs Darius from behind and drops him onto the tacks with a reversed DDT! Darius rolls out of the ring and claws at his back as Elissa rushes forward to try to help him remove them.
Aiello: Good lord, that's a lot for Darius to have to overcome!
Bennett: I can't help but think he brought this upon himself, Joe...he's always had a thing for the X-Division, so now it's come to bite him in the ass!
Eddie then calls to Tyler in the ring and tosses him a can of lighter fluid, a lighter, then points to the cloth wrapped bat. Tyler takes the bat, doses the cloth in the fluid, and then lights it with the lighter! Tyler lets out a sinister laughter as he slides out of the ring, walking around the edge of the ring to stalk Darius. Elissa sees him coming and gets out of the way, screaming at Darius to get up.
Tyler then reaches Darius as Darius starts to crawl under the ring. Tyler shakes his head no and grips the bat tightly with both hands, swinging it down onto the small of Darius' back! Darius lets out a scream from under the ring, then Tyler raises the bat for another strike …
But then Darius slides from under the ring and blasts Tyler and the bat with a fire extinguisher! Tyler drops the bat and grabs his face as Darius pulls himself back to his feet, grabbing Tyler by the arm to whip him against the casket!
Aiello: How much more can Tyler Bradford take, Steve!?
Bennett: He's just gotta dig in a little deeper if he wants to be champ again!
Darius grabs the chain from the ring and then wraps it around his fist. Darius then approaches Tyler, but Tyler lunges forward, grabs Darius, then pulls Darius back, bashing his face against the casket with a sickening thud! Tyler then pushes Darius into the ring, grabs the chain and wraps it around his forearm, then slides into the ring after Darius. Tyler kneels down behind Darius, slips the chained forearm under Darius’ chin and locks in a rear-naked choke! Darius scratches at Tyler’s forearm, but Tyler only locks the hold in tighter!
Darius manages to get to his feet, but Tyler holds on from behind, the hold so tight Darius’ face starts to turn blue! Darius drops back down to a knee and starts to fade, his body going limp in Tyler’s arms. Tyler then slowly releases the hold as Darius sits on a knee motionless next to the ropes, his eyes glazed over. Tyler then wraps the chain around his knee, rushes the opposite ropes, rebounds from them, and then slams his knee into the side of Darius’ head, knocking him through the ropes and into the casket! Tyler reaches over the ropes and slams the lid shut!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Here is your winner and NEW FX Broadcast Champion... TYLER BRADFORD!
Eddie slides into the ring, helping the ref present Tyler with the championship while Elissa checks on Darius as we cut to commentary
Aiello: What a match, what a main event! These two took each other to hell and back tonight, but Tyler Bradford has pulled off the win and is now a two-time FX Broadcast Champion!
Bennett: What a hell of a match this was, Joe! But as you just pointed out, this puts Tyler's name back in the record books as the first man to win that title a second time, it's a historic moment for Tyler and for Sabotage here tonight!
Aiello: Folks, this has been one wild night! As we wrap up things here in Mexico City, I want to remind you all that in just a couple weeks we head to New York for the Season 22 finale of Monday Night BRAWL! Until then, for Steve Bennett I've been Joe Aiello saying so long and...
Suddenly, the screen in the arena bursts to static as the beginning of "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum" by A Perfect Circle plays. The crowd cheers as Pence Weatherlight steps out to the stage, pointing to Tyler Bradford...but more importantly, the title he's just won. Pence motions around his waist, making his plans known as the show comes to a close.
