"An Open Letter To NYC" by Beastie Boys blasts in the Garden
The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #576 in Mexico City.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, from Xplode defeating Shadow Man to unify the belts to footage of the men and women of BRAWL who have held the illustrious title including Ashton Drake, Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and Xavier Reid, before ending on the current champion Ace King.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, Callie Clark, Noah Hartt, King Flip, Jack Severn, Hazel Overton, Candy, Tyler Bradford, KU, Stitches, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Tyler Bradford with the FX Broadcast Championship
Xavier Reid with the EWC International Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.
A wide aerial shot shows that Madison Square Garden is electric for Monday Night BRAWL's Season 22 closer!

and "SOMEONE'S GONNA REMEMBER THIS FINALE ALL TOO WELL"
Aiello: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Season 22 Finale of Monday Night BRAWL! We are geared up in Madison Square Garden on a lovely New York City evening for what is sure to be a banger of a show on our final stop before WrestleFest XIX! I'm Joe Aiello alongside Hall of Famer Steve Bennett, and boy do we have a stacked card ahead of us!
Bennett: You can say that again, Joe! Our main event sees two tough sons o' bitches squaring off in non-title action as Xavier Reid takes on Ace King! Ace has been through hell this season, and has to focus his attention on the International Champion before gearing up to defend his Undisputed Championship at the biggest weekend in pro wrestling!
Aiello: That's right Steve, he defends against three very game opponents but FIRST he has to deal with Reid, who will want to take advantage of an unfocused Gambler to pick up a big win. We also have the FX Broadcast Championship on the line in what I can confirm will be the final time this season, as Pence Weatherlight looks to take the title away from Tyler Bradford after Sabotage went after the Reaper two weeks ago!
Bennett: Pence needs to make sure he's focused on winning that title and not pure revenge, or he's gonna come up short here tonight! We've got plenty of violence in store tonight, from the battle between KU and Damage Inc's Malice and triple threat X-Division action as King Flip takes on Candy and Darius!
Aiello: On top of that, we have Callie Clark facing Stitches and in our opening contest, Rebel Rhodes taking on Hazel Overton! All that and much more, as throughout the night we WILL be finding out details regarding WrestleFest XIX! Don't go away folks, in just a moment we'll be kicking off the action here on BRAWL!

Rebel Rhodes | Hazel Overton |
We return to ringside where Joe Aiello and Steve Bennett are seated behind the announcers table. The crowd is electric as the Brawl season finale is about to kick off.
Aiello: Wow! Steve, the crowd energy here tonight is nothing short of amazing. What a great season the EWC has had this year. Matter of fact, what an amazing season Brawl has had this year!
Bennett: This season has been nothing short of legendary, Joe. To say that…
The crowd erupts in cheers as the camera pans over the rowdy crowd gathered in the Madison Square Garden and stops just behind the announcers table, landing on one of Brawl’s own Superstars, Gabrielle Visconty sitting in the front row.
Aiello: Holy Cow! Gabi Vee is sitting ringside!
Bennett: I thought she retired…
Aiello: Let’s get her over here.
Bennett: How about we don’t.
Aiello motions for Gabi to come take a seat at the announcers table with them. Gabi grins and slips over the guard railing to take a seat next to Aiello. Bennett frowns as he rolls his eyes as Gabi slips on a headset.
Visconty: Howdy guys.
Aiello: Hey! How have you been, Gabi. The EWC hasn’t seen you in a while. Some have even questioned if you had retired.
Bennett: One could only hope.
Visconty: Nah, I was merely taking a bit of a vacation. But, as you might have guessed, I am back.
Bennett: Oh yay…
Aiello: Great! Brawl, and the EWC, will really appreciate you being back.
Visconty: Thanks, Joe. You guys mind if I hang around and help commentate on a few matches?
Bennett: Oh God.
Aiello: Not at all! It’ll be good to have you calling the shots with us, Gabi.
Bennett: Will it now, Joe? Will it?
Visconty: Who is up first?
Aiello: We have Hazel Overton going up against newcomer Melinda Rhodes.
Visconty: Never heard of them... Just kidding, I know who Hazel is. Melinda Rhodes is a complete unknown to me. But, hey, she's Brawl.
Bennett: Melinda has been around a while. While she doesn't bring your own level of youthful energy, she brings in a lifetime of wrestling experience.
Visconty: Hazel still bitchy?
Bennett: Yes. Beautiful and bitchy.
Visconty: Sounds like ex-wife material for you, Steve.
Bennett: Hahaa! Shut up.
Aiello: That's really not a nice thing to say.
Bennett: You can shut up too, Joe.
Aiello: Hate to break up your little shut up party, Bennett, but Jessica Stroup is entering the ring. Looks like it is time to kick off this season finale of Brawl!
Jessica Stroup walks to the center of the ring and gives Gabi a wink before she raises the mic up to her mouth. The crowd in attendance come to their feet.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, HAILING FROM ROME, GA, SHE STANDS AT 5' 11" AND WEIGHS IN AT 145 LBS.... "THE REBEL STAR" MMMMMMEEEELLLLLLIIINNNDDDAAAA RRRRRHHHHOOOODDDDDEEESSS!!!
#I'M BAAAAACK FROM THA' DEEEEEAAAAAAADDDDD!!!
The lights dim and "Back from the Dead" by Halestorm plays over the P/A speakers. With a pyro explosion, the Rebel bounds from the curtains and onto that stage with a wicked grin. She sports her ring gear, a red leather vest with her winged star logo, aviator shades, and fingerless gloves. She strides down to ringside, slides under the ropes, pops up and throws a three fingered salute to the fans!
Stroup: And her opponent, from LONDON, ENGLAND, weighing in at 137 pounds ... HAZEL OVERTON!!!
"Show Stopper" by Danity Kane begins to play as Hazel Overton steps out from behind the curtain with her publicist Amy Jonas right beside her. Hazel is showing her displeasure toward the audience as Amy is jotting down somethings in her phone. Hazel slides into the ring and walks to the farthest corner and sits on top of it while waiting for her opponent.
DING DING DING
Overton confidently and calmly strolls across the ring towards Rhodes with a slick smile on her face. Rhodes is unsure how to take Overton’s calm demeanor, so she pouches her right in the mouth! Overton steps back a bit and spits on the mat as Rhodes smirks back at her. Overton fires back with a bitch slap that pops and echoes through the arena, drawing an OOOOH!
From the crowd. Rhodes dodges a return shot from Overton, slipping to the side and grabbing her arm and sending her to the mat with a hiptoss. Rhodes tries to hang onto the arm, looking to go for an armbar, but gets an eye rake from Overton. Rhodes howls in pain as Overton rolls back up to her feet. She charges in with a vicious kick to the chest of the seated Rhodes, sending her back first to the mat.
Overton grabs two handfuls of hair and yanks Rhodes to her feet, spinning and slinging her by her hair towards the corner. Rhodes slams into the turnbuckle as Overton dashes in with a back elbow smash - but Rhodes sidesteps and forcefully helps Overton slam face first into the turnbuckle!
Visconty: Ouch! That’s definitely going to leave a mark!
Aiello: Rhodes really looking to get back into the swing of things after being away for some time, and that might well be the statement she makes!
Bennett: Hazel's gonna need to really pull it together here if she wants to stop Rebel's momentum!
Rhodes pulls Overton back out of the corner and right into a spinning DDT. Rhodes rolls Overton up for the quick pin attempt!
1…
2 - Hand on the ropes from Overton! The ref breaks it up. Rhodes looks a little disgusted with herself for not getting Overton a little further out in the ring before going for the attempt. Rhodes is backup and jerks Overton back to her feet. She fires a spinning heel kick that Overton just barely manages to duck under. Overton grabs Rhodes around the waist and belly to back suplexes her into the bottom turnbuckle - HEAD FIRST! Rhodes is stunned!
Overton, looking to capitalize on the momentum, grabs Rhodes by her legs and drags her away from the corner and into a Muta Lock that she calls London Comes Calling! Overton screams at Rhodes to give up but Rhodes simply reaches one hand out and pulls herself towards the ropes, much to Overton’s shock at the feat of strength. Overton hangs on tightly as Rhodes reaches out again, pulling them a little closer to the ropes. Overton arches hard, sinking the hold in as tight as she can as Rhodes starts to fade… still she reaches out to pull them both towards the ropes again.
The ref is checking on Rhodes as she appears to be fading fast, she might be going out! With one last valiant effort, Rhodes pulls them both close enough to the ropes that she can get her fingers on the bottom rope! Overton screams in anger as the ref calls for the break, but she holds on, ignoring the ref! The ref grabs Overton’s arms and pulls them from Rhodes’ neck… but the damage looks to have been done, Rhodes head bounces off the mat as she appears to have lost consciousness. Overton rolls away as the ref checks on Rhodes.
Overton grabs Rhodes by the feet and drags her lifeless body back out to the center of the ring. She grins cockily out to the crowd as she pulls Rhodes up to her feet. Overton screams some obscenities into Rhodes face before she bitch slaps her. Overton grabs a handful of hair to keep her from dropping to the mat. She laughs and cocks back for another slap, only for Rhodes to catch her hand just before it strikes her in the face!
Overton looks caught off guard and tries to yank her hand back, but Rhodes pulls her into an exploder suplex! Rhodes hangs on and rolls up on top of Overton and starts dropping bombs! A few huge right hands bounce Overton’s head off the mat violently. Blood rolls out of a cut above Overton’s left eyebrow as Rhodes hops up and dashes to the ropes, springboarding off with a moonsault!
Visconty: Nothing like a perfectly executed springboard moonsault. Damn, that was nice!
Aiello: Hazel is busted up after those right hands, and this is starting to get ugly!
Bennett: Get your head back in it, Hazel!
Overton rolls on the mat as she clutches her ribs. Rhodes slowly gets back to her feet and pulls Overton backup and into a scoop slam. Rhodes dashes to the ropes and comes off with a spear that she calls Rhodes Kill! Rhodes pulls Overton in and wraps her up for the pin attempt! The ref slides in for the count!
1…
2…
3 - NO! Rhodes screams in pain as she releases the hold. She clutches her side as she rolls off of Overton, half covering a big, bloody bite mark! Overton rolls to her side and struggles to her feet. Rhodes looks pissed off as she looks at her hand and notices the blood from the bite. She stands up and turns just in time to see the incoming superkick from Overton! Rhodes side steps and counters with a diamond cutter into a dragon sleeper that she calls Rebel Star Slayer! Rhodes leans back and looks to be trying to pull Overton’s head off! Overton has no choice but to tap!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission... MELINDA RHODES!!!
Rhodes releases the hold as the ref hoists her arm up in the air. Overton rolls out of the ring as she holds her neck, shooting daggers as she glares back at Rhodes.
Visconty: That was a nasty Dragon Sleeper Rhodes had locked in there. Hazel is going to need a trip to the chiropractors to get that neck fixed after that!
Aiello: What a great match to kick off the season finale for Brawl! These two competitors left it all in the ring tonight.
Bennett: Bah, Rhodes got lucky.
Visconty: A win is a win, Bennett.
Aiello: A fair point, Rebel has now made a statement as she returns to the fold here in EWC! Folks, up next we have a big opportunity for Callie Clark as she gets ready to take on Stitches in singles action! Don't go away!
Rebel continues to celebrate the win as we cut to a commercial break ...
Coming back from commercial, we find ourselves backstage inside the office of Jim Connors, where the MNB General Manager is standing by with a smile on his face.
Connors: Hello BRAWL fans, I hope you're as excited as I am for our season finale! I want to bring your attention to the fact that we are just weeks away from our final Pay-Per-View of the year, the exciting weekend known as WrestleFest XIX...and that means a full weekend of thrilling matches!
The crowd cheers this, bringing a wider smile to the face of the GM.
Connors: That's right folks, the red brand looks to make a big impression at WrestleFest! Based on the fact that Stitches defeated Xavier Reid in Mexico City, I've made the decision to that match official for the International Championship! On top of that, we will find out our number one contender when we start Season 23 as Pence Weatherlight takes on Candy!
The crowd shows their appreciate for the announcement, but it looks like Connors isn't finished!
Connors: Last but not least, I want to give the initial announcement regarding the return of not one but TWO Mac Invitational Matches for this year's WrestleFest! The first sees some of the up and comers of each brand along with some familiar faces, such as MNB's recently debuting Mitch Heart and the returning Rebel Rhodes!
The crowd pops big for this, drawing a big grin from the General Manager.
Connors: More announcements will be made tonight and throughout the coming days, but for now enjoy the rest of our Season 22 finale here on Monday Night BRAWL!
The crowd continues to show their appreciation as we cut back to ringside for our next match!
PUTTING SMILES ON FACES...THE HARD WAY!

Callie Clark | Stitches |
Back at ringside we find Joe Aiello, Steve Bennett and guest Gabrielle Visconty sitting behind the announcers table.
Aiello: You sticking around for another match, Gabi?
Bennett: No. Please, no.
Visconty: Since Bennett enjoys me being out here so much, sure.
Bennett rolls his eyes before dropping his head.
Aiello: Excellent! Well, up next we have Stitches facing off against Callie Clark.
Visconty: How is Callie still employed here? She’s about as entertaining to watch as paint drying. She still got her watch DOG with her? What was her name… Toni or something.
Bennett: Tori.
Visconty: Yeah… dumb name for a pet.
Aiello: Well, both of these two are going to be looking to generate a little momentum heading towards WrestleFest.
Visconty: Hey, Stitches beat Xavier, so he has that going for him.
Aiello: Indeed he does.
Bennett: Great chat, but Stroup is entering the ring.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, from New Tork, New York, weighing in at 115 pounds ... CALLIE CLARK!!!
A red carpet is rolled out going from the stage to the bottom of the ramp, and Bad Reputation hits. Callie comes out with Tori walking out behind her, and strikes a pose showing off her cosplay out fit: Stitches, as pyro goes off behind her. Callie's paparazzi takes pictures of her as she walks down the ramp, taunting the fans as she goes. As she reaches ringside, Tori goes ahead of Callie, holding open the ropes so Callie can step through, and walk to the middle of the ring, where she strikes a pose again while winking at the camera. She then goes to her corner as the music cuts.
Bennett: Callie is really poking the bear here, coming out dressed like Stitches.
Stroup: And her opponent, from The Carnival of Shattered Dreams, weighing in at 260 pounds ... STITCHES!!!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide. Stitches enters the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
DING DING DING
Callie dashes in at Stitches before he can get back up to his feet and plasters him with a running cannon ball. Callie rolls back up to her feet and grabs Stitches and pulls him up and slings him towards the opposite corner, only Stitches reverses it. Callie slams into the turnbuckle and staggers out and right into a clothesline. Stitches tries to grab Callie but she slides out of the ring.
Stitches walks to the middle of the ring and sits down, a chillingly calm smile on his face as he watches Tori come over to check on Callie. Tori and Callie have a brief chat before Callie moves off to the left and Tori moves off to the right. Stitches looks slightly bored as he gets up slowly in the center of the ring. He motions for Callie to get back in the ring before backing away to give her a chance to get into the ring. Just as Callie slides under the ropes, Stitches spins suddenly, grabbing the middle rope, and slides under the bottom rope, catching Tori right in the face with both feet.
Tori slams into the guardrail as Stitches sets in on her. Stitches mercilessly fires off several stomps on Tori’s head, driving it sickeningly against the guard rail. Callie sees what is going on and dashes across the ring, springboarding out with a corkscrew plancha that plasters Stitches from behind, driving him into the guardrail - and mostly on to Tori. Stitches laughs insanely as he slowly struggles to get back to his feet as Callie realizes now that she may have impacted Tori more than she expected.
Visconty: I think Stitches wanted that to happen. Nice corkscrew plancha, though… even if she did cream her watchdog.
Aiello: Things already getting out of control here in this matchup!
Bennett: You can say that again, Joe...and also with what's happening in the ring.
Stitches kicks Callie in the side of the head and then drags her back to the ring by her hair. He goes to sling her back into the ring, but Callie fires off a low blow that sends Stitches to his knees. Callie grabs Stitches by the greasy hair and slams him face first into the side of the ring. Callie then quickly rolls into the ring as the ref’s count reaches 7. Stitches stands up and winces a little before he watches the ref count to 8. He takes an additional second to walk to the side before slipping back into the ring just before the ref counts 10.
Callie is waiting on him, setting in on Stitches with a flurry of kicks to the ribs. Stitches rolls back out of the ring and Callie reaches through the ropes to catch him by the hair. Stitches simply reaches up and sits out, dragging Callie down neck first onto the middle rope. Callie staggers back as she chokes and holds her throat, Stitches slips back into the ring and shoulder charges her from behind. Callie falls face down on the mat and Stitches locks in a cobra clutch he calls The Cheshire Smile, slipping a few fingers into her mouth as he stretches her mouth out into a grotesque smile!
Callie screams in pain as Stitches cranks on her head, trying to rip her mouth wide open. Tori reaches into the ring and grabs one of Callie’s legs and drapes it over the ropes, then yells at the ref. The ref sees Callie’s leg in the ropes and calls for Stitches to break the hold. Stitches reluctantly releases the hold and yanks Callie away from the ropes. He jerks Callie back up to her feet by her hair and delivers a backbreaker onto his knee. Callie tries to roll away but Stitches is relentless, grabbing her by the hair once again.
As he goes to yank Callie back to her feet, Callie grabs a couple of Stitches fingers and wrenches them back, breaking his grip on her hair. Callie pulls them up and snaps them violently down. Stitches screams in pain as he clutches his hand, and Callie can only smile at her handy work. Stitches screams slowly turn into maniacal laughter as he holds his hand out to show her his dislocated finger.
Visconty: He isn’t playing with a full deck.
Aiello: Good lord, that looks nasty!
Bennett: Stitches showing Callie how to play some actual mind games here, I reckon!
Callie grabs Stitches hands and blasts him in the face with a Kamigoye knee strike that she calls Thor’s Hammer! Stitches flops face first on the mat before Callie rolls him over and goes for the cover.
1…
2…
Stitches lifts a shoulder off the mat. Callie can’t believe she didn’t get the three count as she shouts at Tori, who tosses a water bottle and a rag into the ring. What the hell is going on here!? Callie opens the bottle, pouring the water onto the rag...and goes right for the face of Stitches, trying to wash the facepaint off! Suddenly, we see a sharp change of demeanor in Stitches as he connects with a hard DDT on Callie! SOUND OF SILENCE! Callie appears to have had the wind knocked out of her as Stitches slowly rolls over behind her and locks in The Carnival Pretzel! TWISTED METTLE!
Callie fights like mad to get out of the hold but only seems to make the hold tighter. Stitches cranks the hold, the combined might of it and the DDT being too much for Clark. Tori slips up onto the side of the ring but it is a moment too late - Callie is out! The ref calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via technical submission... STITCHES!!!
The ref is trying to get Stitches to release the hold, but it looks like Stitches has other plans. Tori runs up from behind and kicks Stitches in the side of the head, breaking the hold. Stitches rolls out of the ring as Tori quickly checks on Callie. Outside of the ring and pops his finger back into place.
Aiello: What a valiant fight out of Callie Clark! She had turned the tide and was starting to dominate before Stitches knocked the wind right out of her sails, putting her to sleep with The Carnival Pretzel after that Sound of Silence DDT!
Bennett: Say what you want about Callie, she didn’t tap out, fighting to the very end.
Visconty: Stitches isn’t someone you ever count out of a fight - trust me on that!
Aiello: And on top of that, it was like something inside him snapped when Callie went after the facepaint! Perhaps taking a cue from her new teammates in Sabotage was a bad idea for Callie there? Folks, it's been a wild night already but when we come back, we have triple threat X-Division action!
Stitches has already headed up the ramp and to the back, and Tori helps Callie follow suit when suddenly...
#I'M BACK FROM THA' DEEEAAAADDDD!!!
Halestorm's "Back from the Dead" booms from the speakers as pyro columns explode on either side of the entrance arch. Fresh from a shower with short blond hair still damp, steps out The Rebel Star herself, Melinda Rhodes. She sports a black and gold band-style leather jacket with a white silk liner, a classic "Peace Sells" Megadeth T-shirt, silver leather pants, black strapped motorcycle boots, chrome aviator shades, and fingerless gloves. She crosses her arms before her, then throws them up in the air with three fingered salutes to everyone in attendance.
Melinda Rhodes then saunters her way down to ringside, slapping high fives on any fan with an outstretched hand, all smiles regardless as to how she may feel from her very physical bout at the start of the show. Upon nearing ringside, she springs for the ring, leaping over the apron and sliding under the ropes on her knees and into the ring. Mel hops to her feet with a fist in the air. After a quick walk around the ring, she reaches over the ropes to take a microphone and address the audience.
Rebel: NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!! MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!!! MAKE SOME NOISE AND LET 'EM HEAR WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE TO BE IN THE MOST LEGENDARY WRESTLING ARENA IN NORTH AMERICAAAAAA!!!!
This gets a big cheer from the crowd, which Rebel lets soak in before continuing.
Rebel: THAT'S WHAT I WANNA' HEAR WHEN I'M IN THA' GARDEN!!!!
Melinda dips her head back, pulling the mic away and letting out a loud and proud Rebel Yell!!!!
Rebel: WAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
Crowd: WAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo!!!!
She chuckles a bit, clearly enjoying herself. The microphone returns to it's place just from the corner of her mouth.
Rebel: Few places have the kind of energy I enjoy when I'm in the Garden. Truly one of the best places to find yourself standing in, whether you throw fists like Ali and Frazier, sing like Jagger, or pull an impossible win out of nowhere like Reggie Miller. Greatness happens in this Arena and I'm sure there's more to come because the roster of EWC bleeds high octane excellence. Speaking of Excellence...
Removing those shades from her face, Mel turns to face the looming Wrestlefest banner hung high over the the crowds, light with it's own unique lighting.
Rebel: EWC's Wrestlefest is around the corner and what better place for me to prove myself against the very best than there.
With a raised arm, she points right at the logo, then turns to look back to the fans.
Rebel: Hope against a snowball's chance in hell, but I'm going to be there, match or no match and I will prove myself worthy of being in this ring to each and every one of you and to the family in the back. I stand here in this ring, having just faced a foe that didn't know who the hell I was and I want to return this battered and beaten name to greatness, but not because I feel I deserve it like some entitled jackass with delusions but because I entered this ring, fought for it, and EARNED that respect.
She points at the canvas beneath her feet.
Rebel: In this square, the stuff of dreams are made. You've just gotta' work hard and fight for it. At Wrestlefest NINETEEN! ...before the crowds of the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I will make that impact and show the world who I should've been five years ago... The absolute BEST I can be.
Her eyes are so intense as emotion threatens to overtake her.
Rebel: ...and you will remember the name Melinda Rhodes not with mixed feelings but something better. I'm done being a disappointment to myself and my peers in the industry. I came back from the dead because I never gave up on the dream... EWC Undisputed Champion, the pinnacle belt and the highest honor in the sport today. It's a long way to the top but goddammit if I ain't gonna' rock... and... RRROOOLLLL!!!
Mel pumps her fist in the air to another huge pop from the crowd. She tosses the microphone to a ring attendant, who catches it and her music plays. The Rebel Star exits the ring with the crowd worked up and cheering for her. There's a smile on her face as she takes in the crowd reaction once more. Despite everything, it was good to feel the love. It was the kind of thing she lives for. Rhodes looks back at the crowd, kisses her palm, and blows a kiss to them all before backing up through the curtains and disappearing from sight as we move to a commercial break.
3 THE HARD WAY - SWEET VIOLENCE AWAITS!
[TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES]
VS | VS | |||
King Flip | Candy | Darius |
We return to ringside where Stroup stands in the center of the squared circle ready to call the match.
Aiello: Well folks, after the night we've had things are only getting more intense as we get ready for triple threat X-Division action!
Bennett: Damn right, Joe! We have King Flip gearing up for his X-Division Championship opportunity at WrestleFest, Candy looking to prove herself ahead of her chance to become #1 Contender for the International Championship, and Darius looking to swing back around after barely losing his FX Broadcast Championship last BRAWL!
Stroup: The following match is a triple threat X-Division contest scheduled for one fall!
K I N G F L I P zooms from right to left across the X-Tron and is followed swiftly by a small pyro. The fans erupt as 'Machinegun' begins to play. The man in the hooded vest, head low, emerges from the curtain with Lady Estelle in his right hand. He gets to the edge of the rampway when he lifts his hood to reveal that arrogant half smile.
Stroup: Making his way to the ring, hailing from the land of money and fame, weighing in at 220 pounds... KIIIIING FLIP!!
The lyrics chime in as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. He slides into the ring and leans against the turnbuckle with arms agape as his theme plays. He turns to the stage ready for the action to start as his theme fades. Just as "I Want Candy" by Aaron Carter starts to play throughout the arena, fans immediately start to cheer as Candy emerges from the back, Tootsie Roll in hand, all smiles as she does a little dance at the top of the stage.
Stroup: And his opponent... making her way to the ring from Candyland, please welcome... 'The Sweet Treat'... CAAAAAANDYYYYYY!!
After her name is announced, Candy begins skipping her way down the aisle as she tags the outstretched hands along the way. She circles half the ring before climbing up on the apron. As she takes a seat on it, Candy blows a kiss into the crowd. She then lays back and rolls into the ring under the bottom rope. Once she's on her feet again, Candy taunts the crowd with her Tootsie Roll until her music subsides.
Stroup: And their opponent, from Albany, New York, weighing in at 265 pounds ... DAAARIUUUS!!
"Burn It Down" blares throughout the arena as flames rise from the stage below. Darius rises from the flames and hypes himself up, throwing devil horns to the sky for a moment as fireworks go off in a spiral behind him. Elissa then emerges from the smoke behind Darius, holding his bat over her shoulder with a sadistic grin on her face. Darius then runs through the flames and slides into the ring, looking around the arena before jumping up to his feet. Elissa starts to walk around the ring, watching Darius as he tosses his sunglasses to the side of the ring, then throws his trench coat off to the side before leaping onto one of the turnbuckles, posing with devil horns once again as he waits for the match to begin.
DING DING DING
Weapons left in their respective corners, Candy and King Flip get face to face to a massive pop. It's more face to chest since Flip is nearly a foot taller but the Sweetie doesn't budge an inch. He pats her on the head and invites her to get to first lick in, to which she heartily obliges with a stiff forearm to the face. She quickly whips her body around and has to jump to connect one to the conniving Darius coming up from behind. Candy gets the crowd behind her as this continues for another two forearms each smashing into the men in the ring.
Flip attempts a leg sweep but Candy jumps over it. She turns right into a thumb to the eye from the Big D and both men connect with a double dropkick that sends her flying into a corner of the ring. Each man attempts and is pushed away from connecting with another dropkick on the other as Candy drops to a seated position. Her head droops only momentarily. Her eyes close for a second, then shoot back open and the pupils have changed color. She pulls herself up as the men have come eye to eye and seem to be arguing about something. The Sweetness rushes forward and nearly connects with a double bulldog, but the bigger men easily catch their footing and toss her out of the ring all the way into the guardrail.
Aiello: Oh my, things have already taken a turn for the violent here!
Bennett: Ya love to see it, Joe!
SMACK!
Flip slaps the taste right out of Darius' mouth and takes a few steps back. The New Yorker rubs his jaw with a smile, connecting with a clothesline when the King rushes forward. Then a second clothesline. Flip stumbles to his feet with an arm over the top rope to stay up. Darius goes for a third clothesline to send his opponent out of the ring, but the Ol' CHK drops his weight at the last second with that arm around the top rope. The big man tumbles right over the ropes and sandwiches little Candy into the guardrail.
The King tries to keep the momentum going as he stands, lauching himself to the outside of the ring for a cross body splash to both of his opponents. Darius catches him! Flip is shaking his head, he's trying to wiggle free, but nothing is able to stop Darius from lifting up and planting Flipper spine first onto the top of the guardrail. The King screams in pain as he lies with his appendages dangling down. Darius grins as he grabs a stumbling Candy by her throat and lifting her to her feet. He's going to chokeslam her onto the guardrail next to Flip, but no. Flip flings his leg up and kicks D in the back of the head. Candy spins around and clasps her hands together around the back of the much taller man's neck. Sliced bread #2 aka the Candy Crusher connects!
Aiello: Temporary alliance here by Candy and King Flip, and it brings Darius down for the count!
Bennett: But not for long Joe, Candy's got other plans!
Candy continues the momentum with a sunset flip on Flip, slamming him into Darius' rib cage for the double pinning predicament.

2 . .
No! Flip clanks his knees together on either side of Candy's head, then Darius flings his own arm into the air. Candy and Flip are sent stumbling. The King has his arms around Candy's legs and drops to one knee for a pin!
1 . .
2 . .
No! Candy kicks out with force. Flip goes stumbling face first into the turnbuckle post. She doesn't even take a second to breathe, however, as she rolls onto Darius and lifts his legs into the air. Another freakin' pin!
1 . .
No! Darius doesn't just kick out. He slips his left hand under her left arm and rolls her onto her back. Darius has Candy pinned!
1 . .
2 . .
No! Candy kicks out! Flip, who was standing stunned, pulls himself into the ring and lies on the canvas. Candy and Darius have both gotten to their feet and are exchanging strikes outside the ring. The big man gets the upper hand after a blocked shot and goes to whip Candy into the steel steps. The Sweetness reverses the whip instead, however, and sends Darius ribs first into the steps. She then slides into the ring and goes grabs her wrapped kendo stick known only as the Tootsie Roll.
CRACK!
Candy nails Flip in the dome as he stands and turns toward her. He hits the canvas and rolls right back up.
CRACK!
A second shot opens him up like a Christmas present and the blood begins to flow. Darius gets to his feet outside the ring and slides in. CRACK! The Sweet Treat nails him right in the ribs and lifts her weapon into the air.
CRACK!
It lands right across the back of Darius, taking him down. She turns back to Flip and starts to pick him up with her free hand...but he shoves her toward the ropes, managing to send her out of the ring in the process before crawling toward Darius who gets back to his feet. With his back still turned toward Flip, the C-H-K rolls him up in a small package!

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... KING FLIP!
The ref raises Flip's arm in victory as we see a frustrated Candy on the outside before cutting to commentary.
Aiello: King Flip managed to steal away a win from Candy there, rolling Darius up after all that damage done!
Bennett: That sneaky bastard did it, Joe! He took advantage of an opening, and picked up a big win to close his season out on Brawl!
Aiello: These three competitors are heading in very different directions come WrestleFest, but up next we have two men set on a collision course before heading to the Pay-Per-View! KU takes on Damage INC's Malice, right after this!
Flip quickly rolls out of the ring, soaking in the joy of his win as we cut to commercial ...
THIS FEUD GOES ON AND ON, MY FRIEND!

KU | Malice |
Coming back from commercial, we return to ringside where we don't waste a second before the battle ahead of us!
Aiello: Here we go folks, the war between Damage INC and the team of KU and Antoni Malietoa continues in this singles bout between KU and Malice!
Bennett: Antoni Malietoa got the better of Mayhem two weeks ago, but I have a feeling Malice is not gonna let that fly as he tries to break down KU tonight in the Garden!
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, weighing in at 230 pounds ... KU!
'Fuck It' by Seether plays through the Garden as KU makes his way to the stage, choosing to opt out of any theatrics as he quickly approaches the ring. He slides in, sitting in the corner as he awaits his opponent for tonight.
Stroup: And his opponent, coming to the ring accompanied by his tag team partner Mayhem and the HBIC, Miss Lacey Savage, he weighs in tonight at 395 pounds and proudly represents his home country of Canada , he is one half of DAMAGE INCORPORATED ... MALICE!
Cue "This Is Gonna Hurt" as stomping from the back Malice stops on the stage and lets out a war cry as pyro explodes to either side of him. He stalks down to the ring in lock step with the dangerously sexy Lacey Savage who pumps him up with loud words of encouragement with every step. In their wake comes Mayhem, the second member of Damage Inc to, as always, back his partner's play.
Malice box jumps up onto the apron and shakes the top rope before climbing into the ring where he ascends the nearest set of turnbuckles and starts to berate the crowd. Dropping back down he turns to face the center, crouching in the corner while he waits to launch himself into the fight at the sound of the bell. From the floor Lacey gives him a last bit of strategy as they wait for the match to begin.
DING DING DING
The bell rings and the two men forego a lock-up, choosing instead to lay into each other with some hard lefts and rights. KU eventually gets the upper hand here, transitioning into some forearm smashes and elbow strikes that wears Malice down a bit before KU takes to the ropes...but on the rebound, he gets caught with a spinebuster out the gate from Malice! His crew applaud this from ringside as Malice continues the attack, stomping away before bringing KU back to his feet...only to send him into the turnbuckle with a harsh Irish whip! Malice takes a step back before charging at nearly full speed toward KU...WHO DODGES AT THE LAST SECOND!
The momentum sends Malice crashing into the turnbuckle, giving KU an opening to lay into Malice with some hard kicks to the back. He quickly follows up with some open palm strikes against the back of Malice, who only gets angrier by the second as he turns his attention to KU...who sends him out of the ring with a dropkick!
Aiello: KU getting the upper hand in the early goings of this contest!
Bennett: He'd better be careful though, cause a man like Malice can spring up at anytime and turn things around!
KU leaves the ring to continue the attack, stomping away at Malice before the big man gets back to a vertical base, shoving KU away so he can fully return to his feet...but KU dropkicks him again, this time sending Malice tripping over the steel steps! Mayhem and Savage don't take well to this, rushing to the aid of Malice as KU slides back into the ring.
The ref begins the count as Malice slowly gets to his feet, being well aware enough to slide in as the ref approaches the count of 4...but KU stomps him on the way in, stopping him real quick! KU runs to the ropes before hitting a baseball slide, taking Malice right back to the outside before KU looks to continue the assault. This resets the count as KU stomps the midsection of Malice, unitl he gets approached by Mayhem and Savage.
The distraction is enough for Malice to get back to his feet once again, this time blindsiding KU with forearm to the back of the head! Malice continues the attack as the ref approaches the count of 6 here, bringing KU to his feet only to launch him with an Irish whip into the barricade!
Aiello: Malice has turned things around in his favor here!
Bennett: This is gonna break down real quick!
Refusing to let up, Malice goes right back on the assault as he rushes his opponent, driving a knee to the back. He stomps away at KU, bringing him back to his feet purely so he can slam KU's face onto the edge of the barricade over and over again! The ref has now reached the count of 8 as Malice looks to take advantage of the opportunity...and runs back to the ring, sliding in! The ref is already on 9 but KU is out cold, forcing the count all the way to 10 before the ref calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, via countout... MALICE!
With the match officially over, Mayhem goes on the attack with some hard kicks on KU! Malice leaves the ring to join in, and Damage INC attack until Antoni Malietoa comes running down the ramp to make the save! Things break down into a brawl as we cut to commentary
Aiello: A close back and forth match ends in a countout win for Malice here, but the story here is this war between teams is nowhere near over!
Bennett: You gotta wonder what's gonna bring this to an end, Joe!
Aiello: Folks, when things settle down here we will be back with more action here on Monday Night BRAWL
The brawl continues when suddenly ...
The X-Tron flickers on revealing Jim Connors in his office, an angry look on his face as he begins to speak.
Connors: Alright, that's quite enough of that from all of you! This has gone on long enough, and there's only one way for this to end...at WrestleFest, KU and Antoni Malietoa will team up once more to take on Damage Incorporated in the most appropriate match for this much brutality...because the falls count anywhere!
The crowd cheers the announcement as officials rush in to break things up while we move to a commercial break.
WILL THE CHAMP'S REIGN BE SABOTAGED!?
[SINGLES MATCH]
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
VS | ||
Pence Weatherlight | Tyler Bradford |
We return to ringside where senior official Paul Turner is on standby.
Aiello: Now this could be interesting. Our recently-crowned FX Broadcast champion Tyler Bradford is taking on Pence Weatherlight, himself fresh off a somewhat controversial loss over on Paramount. These two men have exchanged some harsh words in the leadup to tonight. Bad blood and cruel intentions! Your thoughts, Steve?
Bennett: Ain't nobody taking that title away from Tyler Bradford, let alone a washed-up former champion whose mouth writes checks his ass can't cash. This match is gonna be over in minutes. Easy day at the office for the FX champ, Joe. Easy. Day.
Stroup: The following match is for one fall, and is for the FX Broadcast Championship. Joining us first, from Hershey, Pennsylvania, weighing in at two hundred and forty five pounds ... THE REAPER, PENCE WEATHERLIGHT!
The screen in the arena bursts to static as the beginning of "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drum" by A Perfect Circle begins to play. The lights begins to flicker on an off in the arena as a man emerges on the entrance ramp, the fans begin to cheer as they realize it is none other than Pence Weatherlight. Pence stands on the ramp looking around at all the fans in attendance as the lights continue to flicker on and off as air raid horns begins to play in the background adding more to the beat and rhythm of the music. He begins to march his way down the entrance ramp, slowly, and methodically taking his time as he continues to observe the fans and his opponent in the ring. Pence takes a deep breath as he reaches the steps, pausing again to look at all the fans in attendance before his eyes land on his opponent as he glares at them with intensity.
Pence makes his way up the steps and calmly enters the ring, removing his eyes from his opponent as he walks over to the corner opposite of them, and steps up on to the turnbuckle as he continues to glance around the arena at all the fans who continue to cheer. Pence begins to pop his knuckles as he jumps off the turnbuckle to face his opponent again as he begins to stretch in preparation for the bout he is about to undertake.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Miami Beach, Florida, weighing in at two hundred and twenty three pounds, the reigning FX Broadcast Champion ... TYLER! BRADFORD!
As the rousing opening to "Iconic" by Jaxson Gamble hits, Tyler Bradford steps out with his arms in the air and the championship around his waist. There's a burst of pyro, and through the falling shower of sparks step Sabotage; a show of strength, before Dozier peels off to accompany Tyler to the ring. Both men take their sweet time, backchatting the hecklers in the crowd and pausing to run their mouths about the challenger, whose protests to the referee are swiftly calmed as the champ rolls his neck, fistbumps his partner, and bounces arrogantly up the steps into the ring. He slowly removes the belt and presents it to the crowd before handing it off, a broad smirk cutting his face in half.
DING DING DING
Pence has been pacing furiously since reaching the ring, and it's to some astonishment from the crowd that he's the first to move, lunging in for a lock-up with the champion. Bradford's eyes momentarily widen, but he's game to the challenge - receiving the lock up and then immediately going for a chop and an eye gouge. Weatherlight grimaces, turning away to escape from the worst to his eyes, and spins out to seize a hammerlock. With the arm firmly captured behind Tyler, he grinds his forearm into the back and then makes a show of drawing out the hold, sinking low to maintain control in the center of the ring. Wrestling at his own pace, it would seem.
The fans are restless, beginning to chant and stomp for the action to re-commence. Bradford shakes his head, chewing on his lip and frowning heavily at this turn of events. He turns into the pressure, throwing his weight into an attempted counter-hold, and Pence simply slides to seize a headlock, once more dropping his body weight to grind into a resthold. Tyler becomes furious, lashing out with elbows and flailing forearms. He's doing damage, and Pence is forced to release, but he does so by dropping into a bulldog, floating over to go for a pin - but with his forearm across Bradford's face, more concerned about laying in the pain than hooking the leg.
ONE...!
The champion kicks out authoritatively, swearing and spitting as he gets to his feet, seizing Weatherlight for a snap suplex and then repeating his own maneuver - a floatover and a nasty, savage half-pin, but for his part doesn't even wait for the count of one before breaking it to drop repeated knees to the side of Pence's head. He pulls away with an angry scream, and there's a spray of blood across the mat already, a jagged welt of crimson visible across the challenger's temple. Despite this, Pence seems to be grinning, and as Tyler hits the ropes to continue his punishing assault, the Reaper rolls to his feet and catches him with a whiplash-inducing spine buster, immediately following up with an elbow to the face. The Battle Testimony!
Aiello: Wow, what a combo there by Weatherlight!
Bennett: I dunno if that's gonna be enough though, Joe!
There's a cover from Pence, but - in knowing echo of his opponent - he breaks it himself on two, and isolates an arm, keeping it pinned as he lifts his bodyweight and brings his knees crashing down once, twice, and-- there's a feral scream from Tyler Bradford, the champion impressively snatching his arm free, rolling to his feet and catching the now off-balance Pence in mid-air, his head down. "I!" He leans back, and with an explosive surge of strength slingshots the Reaper head-backwards into the corner post. "HATE YOU!"
Pence rebounds, dazed, stumbling, right into the screaming, bug-eyed face of his opponent. Moving with a frightful grace, Bradford turns fluidly and brings his opponent back down to the mat with a violent cutter, sitting up alongside Pence's fallen form to lock eyes momentarily with Eddie Dozier. A huff of breath, a nod to his ally, and Tyler flings himself onto Weatherlight's back, driving heavy fists at the back and side of his head. For the second time this match, it's all Pence can do to weather the storm, blood and sweat flying as he's systematically battered and beaten from rear mount by the champion. Angry and impatient, Tyler ceases his assault and drags Pence around like a sack of potatoes, all but throwing him to a seated position against the ropes.
Bloody as he is, Pence isn't going to just sit there; Bradford stares him down, and he lifts a middle finger, beckoning him on with the other hand. 'Come on', he mouths, 'Do it.' His foe obliges. A long step on powerful legs carries Tyler into a sprint off the ropes, feet falling on the mat like thunder in the run-up to absolutely brutalize Weatherlight with a Penalty Kick. The impact is sickening, and leaves the determined challenger half in the ring, with his upper body sprawled across the bottom rope, head lolling onto the apron. Eddie Dozier is there, in his face, laughing and jacking his jaw. Bradford does a lap of the ring, strutting in malevolent delight. In the certainty of his coming victory. The fans rally behind Pence, against Tyler, or both.
The Reaper mutters something virulent and dark to Dozier, clawing at the edge of the apron with both hands, pulling himself across the apron and out to ringside where he catches himself in a crouch. Eddie closes in, his own face twisted in anger now, aiming a vicious haymaker right between the eyes. No! Pence sways drunkenly, catches the extended wrist and sends Eddie Dozier stumbling into the steel ring steps. A gout of blood; the crowd pops huge. Pence finds his feet just in time to meet the fury of Tyler Bradford's baseball slide, taking both feet under the ribcage, but he holds on, dragging the champion down into the lawless expanse.
Paul Turner fights for order, starting a count on both men, who stand to face one another, exchanging punches, chops, a faceful of phlegm on Pence from Tyler - and in return, the same, drowned in crimson, from Pence. Bradford swipes at his eyes, swearing vehemently, as the maniacally-grinning Weatherlight drops down and hauls the champion across his shoulders. Adrenaline fueling him, he carries one member of Sabotage to the other, and stands there a moment, watching bloodied Dozier roll onto his back against the steps, begging the challenger off. The Reaper looks to the fans, then turns and, with a curt shrug, falls into a Samoan drop with Bradford across his shoulders, sacrificing his own shoulders to drill Tyler through his partner into the ring steps.
Aiello: Oh my, the impact! Pence is not letting Dozier get in the way of his efforts tonight!
Bennett: Yeah, but he better not keep his eyes off the prize too long!
The count is up to seven once Pence finds his feet, covered in his own blood, bending to retrieve Bradford from the wreckage, bringing the other man to his knees before pausing. The count is at nine. A wry smile from Pence, as he slides swiftly in and out of the ring, waving off the official's protest and returning to the grounded champion. Bradford is waiting, however; the second that Weatherlight grabs his hair, he throws himself into a low blow, then rolls into a neckbreaker on the doubled challenger.
With Eddie Dozier down, Bradford slithers to his feet and takes a frustrated break against the barricade, sparing a few harsh words for the fans who immediately leap at the opportunity to heckle him. Pence is meanwhile getting uneasily to all fours, dripping with sweat and blood. Tyler swaggers forward, delivering a few mocking slaps to the head. "You're nothing, you're a JOKE! Is this your hero? Huh?" The last goes to the crowd, as the champion pulls Pence to his feet and parades him in front of them. The count reaches six.
The Reaper fights back, digging in with punches and elbows, but is swiftly cut off by Bradford, who pulls his head back and goes for another deep eye gouge. He gets all of this one, and follows up with a leaping knee that slams Pence back against the apron. A fierce chop to the chest follows, and then Tyler busies himself rolling the struggling man back into the ring before the count can culminate. Shaking his head, he steps up onto the apron... and meets Weatherlight, all but out on his feet, weaving forward with jabs that pepper the champion as he tries to re-enter the ring. Ceasing his strikes, Pence grabs the back of Tyler's head and pulls him down against the top rope, grinding his face into it with the tip of an elbow, slowing the pace and bringing the pain.
Bradford is beyond incensed now, grunting and yelling, his face bright red - whitened and raw across the middle where the taut cable has been ground into his flesh. Pushing himself free, he grabs the back of Pence's head and drops down, guillotining the Reaper chin-first, sending him wildly back into the ring. He's struggling back off the mat in an instant, refusing to go down, when Tyler fluidly slides in, grabs a front facelock and starts drilling in knees. He relents slowly as he begins to stand, dragging the battered Pence to a vertical base.
Face twisted in the agony of frustration, marked and marred and scalded by the assault of his driven challenger, Tyler Bradford shoves Weatherlight bodily into the corner, lifting him clean into the air on the rebound and turning around the center of the ring, screaming to the fans, to Pence himself, "WITNESS ME!"
With a mighty heft, the prodigious champion hurls Pence Weatherlight into the air, moving with the grace and speed of a coiled snake, leaving his own feet to drill in the Pelé Kick, swatting the Reaper from the air. The collision with the mat is itself a thing of beauty, the entire ring shaking beneath the weight of both men, as Bradford bounces back into a standing position and turns with his arms raised, fists clenching, pinning the challenger with a foot upon his chest and arms lowering into an overconfident front flex.
ONE...
TWO...
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Your winner, via pinfall, and STILL the FX Broadcast Champion ... TYLER! BRADFORD!!
Pushing his fallen opponent onto his face with a disdainful push of his foot, the victorious champion turns away and immediately seizes his belt from an astonished Paul Turner, raising it to all four corners of the ring, sparing mocking words in return to the jeers of the fans. His mouth doesn't stop moving, or spitting venom, as he does the full circuit, pointedly ignoring Pence Weatherlight. Above him. Beyond him.
Until Tyler moves to leave, and then Pence is behind him. It's hard to ignore the punctuation mark of a northern lariat to the back of one's head, and Weatherlight doesn't stop there - pulling Bradford off the ropes, letting the title fall to the mat as the severely bruised and bloodied, but yet unbroken, Reaper focuses on continuing the assault upon his despised foe. A fireman's carry neckbreaker brings him down, a series of sharp, mounted punches draw blood, and then Weatherlight locks in the Reap and Sew, the LeBell lock, clean in the middle of the ring.
Tyler Bradford is screaming. Paul Turner desperately tries to negotiate a break, while the other members of Sabotage hit the ramp and charge as a unit, forcing the issue with Pence, who is forced to let go but continues to brawl, lashing out at every face he sees. The crowd is going wild, as security joins the melee and forces the sides to separate. Weatherlight drops to his knees on the outside, restrained and gasping, as Sabotage retrieve the champion - and his discarded belt - and make their apoplectic way into the back.
Aiello: An uncharacteristic display from the challenger, after a hard-fought, competitive match. Something of a tarnished victory for the reigning champion, and it's fair to say that Tyler Bradford won't take that lightly.
Bennett: Pence took it to him, that's for damn sure. You reckon with a "no quit" attitude like that, he'll get an invitation to join Sabotage? In any case, we just saw two tough sons of bitches fight a WAR out there. You gotta love it.
Aiello: What an amazing battle, folks! We are just moments away from our huge main event as Xavier Reid takes on Ace King in what feels like a familiar clash between champions, but it seems we're gonna hear from our International Champ right now!
With that, we cut to backstage to hear from Reid, and very likely Tommy Love...
The camera cuts backstage inside Madison Square Garden where Brawl’s Bob Murray is standing outside The Love Club locker room. He looks down at his watch and then reaches out and knocks on the door. He waits for a second or two and then the door opens and he’s face to face with the International Champion Xavier Reid, who is dressed and ready to head to the ring. Bob pauses for a moment, as he looks inside the locker room and then around his surroundings.
Murray: Xavier, I...I wasn’t expecting you to answer the door…
Bob is further taken aback when it’s Bunny Love that walks up behind Xavier Reid and smiles
Bunny Love: Who were you expecting Bob?
Bob looks at the two of them and when nobody else pops up he says
Murray Your father and Xavier’s manager Tommy Love…
Xavier nods and reaches out grabbing Bob by the wrist, looking at his watch and then back at Bunny
Reid: So was I Bob...but it seems it’s just me and Bunny here tonight…
Bunny Love: Tonight, where Xavier Reid meets Ace King for their first one on one match of the 2021 Season and I have to say Bob...this has been LONG overdue…
Xavier nods
Reid: I’d have to agree with Bunny Bob, see I’ve watched time and time again as Ace King has come to Brawl and I’ve watched time and time again as YOUR boss Jim Connors has handed him to Antoni, to Gabi, to Kendrick Kross and Flip...to Bosa all the while passing on 2020’s Brawl Superstar of the Year...Brawl’s reigning and deafening International Champion and it isn’t until the season is over that Connors finally gets his head out of his ass and matches THIS match...I swear Bob, YOUR boss is killing Brawl…
Bob looks at Xavier, a bit confused but being the journalist he points out…
Murray: Well Xavier, he’s YOUR boss also…
Xavier and Bunny smile
Reid: For now that is…
Bunny Love: We aren’t going to discuss Xavier’s contract and the fact it expires in January of 2022...that wouldn’t be professional Bob…
Reid: Nor do I want to take away from tonight and the opportunity I have right before me...tonight I step into the ring with SUPERMAN himself, the unstoppable and unbeatable Ace King...Mr. MVP himself...what does he have this season Bunny…
Bunny Love: 18 MVP’s, 16 Matches of the Night…
Reid: Has defended the Undisputed Championship 5 times this season and now is a DOUBLE champion as he’s one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions with my brother Pablo...the man has won 30 matches this season…
Bunny Love: A Team win is a win…
Reid: And tonight he has the chance to eclipse Dominic Sanders’ record of 30 wins in the 2019 season and all he has to do is beat little old me...which let’s face is, isn’t a tough task...hell half the Brawl roster has beaten me this season right...I don’t win these BIG matches...not this season anyways...sure I’ve defended the International Championship twice this season but I only seem to shine when the gold is on the line...hell last week in Mexico I failed on a unbelievable level...in front of my father on the night I was honoring the family I wanted to be apart of since I discovered my true parentage...hell Chico hasn’t said a word to me since I walked out to that ring to face Stitches under the El Xavier mask…
Bunny Love: Yet even with all this disappointment you can’t point out one member of the Brawl roster that’s more important to Brawl than Xavier Reid…
Reid: See tonight nobody is expecting me to win...hell I’m sure most of the people in this company have already engraved 31 wins in Ace King’s 19th MVP award for tonight but here’s the thing Bob...I’m tired of the disrespect attached to my name and I can’t simply snap my fingers and get that respect back...but I can walk out there tonight and beat the EWC Undisputed Champion...I can pin the man that’s barely been beaten this season...I can take that chip and this championship and force Jimmy Connors to the table and force him to break open the bank for Xavier Reid...but to do that, I need to rough up The Golden Child of the EWC…
Bunny Love: And it’s not like Xavier hasn’t done it before...in the Power Struggle Match last year at Night of Champions NOBODY expected Xavier to walk out with the Undisputed Championship and yet he beat Ace King...every fan of Brawl can remember Xavier jumping out of that suite in Florida and ending Ace’s night at Brawl #529…
Reid: Ace and I have had a stored feud and the next chapter is written here tonight...on my home turf, here on Brawl...it’s my chance to deliver for MY brand Bob...to give Brawl something to celebrate as we close 2021...it’s been a tough season for us here...the once beloved Flag Ship show of the EWC and we haven’t had one single shining moment until tonight...this is MY chance to deliver for Brawl and it seem like I will be doing that alone…
But Bunny taps Xavier on the shoulder and points over Bob Murray’s shoulder
Bunny Love: Guess you were right...he did show up…
Bob turns around as sees ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walking in their direction, clearly late and not seeming to give any fucks
Reid: Tommy...nice of you to join us…
Tommy looks at his daughter, not making any eye contact with his client
Tommy Love: Bunny I will deal with you later tonight…
Bunny rolls her eyes at her father as Tommy looks at Xavier
Tommy Love: As for you, I’m here tonight because I have a contract to be in your corner but that’s all I’m going to do...be in your corner because honestly kid...I hope Ace King kicks your ass for what you’ve done…
Bob Murray looks a bit confused but Xavier cuts in before he can ask any questions
Reid: Tommy...I said I was sorry...not for being with Bunny but for not telling you sooner...I didn’t want you to find out the way you did but it happened, I am involved with your daughter…
Bob’s mouth drops open as he’s hear this news
Reid: But I’m not going to apologize for it...so you are going to have to become good with it if you are going to continue being my manager…
Bunny Love: Daddy…
But Tommy holds up his hand cutting off his daughter
Tommy Love: We are not going to talk about this here and now…
Tommy looks at Xavier
Tommy Love: I hope you got out of whatever little daddy issue funk you were in Xavier because I’m not going to lift a finger out there tonight, I’m not going to shout out instructions or advice...you are on your own out there tonight and if there is anything left of you after the match MAYBE I’ll give you the chance to explain why you think you can fuck my daughter and why I shouldn’t break this here Love Stick over your damn head…
Tommy shakes his tennis racket at Xavier who just grins
Reid: Well one way or another we are going to have a good night, either you are going to get your wish and Ace King is going to kick my ass or I’ll go out there and beat the EWC Undisputed Champion and you won’t be able not to enjoy the win...Bunny, I’ll see you in a little bit...come on Tommy…
Xavier hands Tommy the International Championship as he winks at Bunny and starts to head towards the ring as Tommy looks at the championship and then his daughter
Bunny Love: Behave out there dad…
She smiles and closes the door to the Love Club locker room leaving Tommy alone with Bob, who reaches out and puts his hand on Tommy’s shoulder
Murray: If you need someone to talk to...I mean, your client and your daughter...wow…
Tommy pulls his shoulder away from Bob Murray
Tommy Love: Fuck you Bob…
And with that Tommy walks away towards the ring as we cut to our final commercial break of the night...and the season!
THAT THORN YOU JUST CAN'T QUITE GET RID OF!
[SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE]
VS | ||
Xavier Reid | Ace King |
We return to ringside where we are gearing up for a HUGE main event here in Madison Square Garden!
Aiello: And this is it, the final match of Brawl’s season!
Bennett: The current International champion, Xavier Reid taking on the current Undisputed champion, Ace King!
Aiello: What a way to finish the 2021 season. These two men are no strangers to each other, and I expect no quarter between them.
Bennett: Xavier has been itching to get his hands back on the Undisputed title all season long! And while Xavier has been after that Undisputed title, Ace King has been pushing the record number of days he has held the Undisputed. Can Ace pull down another legendary 777 day run, or is Xavier punching his ticket for a shot at the Undisputed title tonight by defeating Ace?
Aiello: No matter what the outcome of this match, the fans in the seats tonight are in for a show!!!
Stroup: The following match is a NON TITLE match up. Joining us first, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 220 pounds ... The current International Champion… XAVIER REID!!!
The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out
Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his black trunk, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape and from behind him ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks out. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy walks out from behind him and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’.
Tommy points to the ring and Xavier walks towards the ring shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the ring, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy pulls out some money and tries to bribe the official who walks away as Tommy laughs. Xavier jumps down and squats down in the corner waiting for the Ace King...
"THE ACE OF SPADES! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!"
The signature Motorhead anthem rips through Madison Square Garden, and the crowd starts cheering. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp. Once the guitars hit, a plume of fire goes up on either side of the ramp as Ace King rises to the stage from a platform, looking out at the crowd and nodding in appreciation.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 235 pounds ... The current Undisputed champion… ACE KING!!!
A thin smile crosses Ace's face as his weathered eyes look out at the crowd, pausing for a few more seconds on the platform before casually making his way down the ramp toward the ring, his arms outstretched for fans on either side of the barricade. He stops a few steps short of the ring, then dives in under the bottom rope as gold pyros explodes off each turnbuckle. Ace spins up to one knee, then takes another appreciative look out at the crowd before getting back to his feet and turning his attention to Xavier Reid, his game face firmly on.
Aiello: The energy here is incredible. Just listen to these fans in attendance tonight!!
Bennett: I can’t hear a damn thing, my ears are ringing!
DING DING DING
Reid and King immediately start to circle, each man sizing the other up. Reid makes the first move as he quickly slips in and goes for a single leg takedown that King just avoids by scooting out of range. He nods at Reid before putting the game face back on and resumes circling. The two lock up in the center of the ring and King starts to out strength Reid, pushing him back toward the corner. Reid fires off a knee lift to King’s midsection and then goes for a hip toss. King counters the hip toss and German suplexes Reid. Both men back up quickly to their feet, much to the excitement of the fans.
King charges in with a big boot to Reid’s gut, doubling him over, only to follow it up with a huge European uppercut. Reid staggers back and into the ropes as King stalks in. Reid pushes off the ropes and catches King with a diving elbow smash that knocks him off his feet. Xavier quickly grabs Ace’s arms and starts stomping violently to Ace’s face - Fuck You Stomps!! 3 stomps in and King slips his leg in between Reid’s and rolls him into a knee bar. Xavier tries to yank his leg free but Ace has it locked in deep!
Reid howls in agony before he leans back and lunges for the ropes, grabbing the bottom one. The ref calls for the break and Ace breaks clean. Xavier climbs back up using the ropes, testing to see if there is any damage from the hold. King is back to his feet and closing back in on Reid, who slips half out of the ropes. The ref steps between King and Reid. Ace backs up as Reid slips back into the ring and starts to circle.
Aiello: These two have been at it enough times that it may be hard for them to find an advantage here!
Bennett: It's true Joe, we've reached that point in their history where it could take one little slip-up for the other to pull off the win!
Reid looking a little more cautious as he starts to close in on the Undisputed champion. The two lock up again and Ace immediately slips to the side and wrist locks Xavier. He wrenches the arm and drives Xavier to one knee. Ace shoves Xavier’s arm down and follows it up with a nasty roundhouse kick to the side of Reid’s head - Full House! Reid flops over on his side as Ace takes a step back. Reid struggles to get to his feet as Ace charges in. Xavier stands up and right into a diving front flip piledriver - Wild Card! Ace rolls Xavier up for the pin!

3 - NO! Reid with the shoulder up at the last possible second! King looks at the ref and holds up three fingers and frowns slightly. The ref shakes his head and holds up only two fingers. Ace nods and grabs Xavier up off the mat.
Aiello: Close call there from Ace King, nearly picking up the win!
Bennett: Like I said, one slip-up could be either man's downfall!
Xavier fires off an elbow to Ace’s gut, then another. King staggers back as Xavier dashes to the ropes and comes off with a shoulder charge that nearly knocks Ace off his feet. Xavier hauls off and bitch slaps Ace, then dashes off to the ropes again. King is ready and spins around with a clothesline as Reid comes off the ropes. Reid ducks under and hits the ropes and returns, catching King with a spinning sit out piledriver! The International champ hops back up to his feet and yanks Ace back up, scoop slamming him back to the mat. Xavier quickly grabs the stunned Ace and slips in the Triangle Choke!
Ace desperately fights to get out of the hold but Xavier has got it locked in. The ref is right there to check on King as Reid screams as he puts all his might into the hold. Ace is starting to fade, dropping to one knee. The ref grabs Ace’s hand and lifts it up, then drops it. It drops halfway before Ace raises it up. The crowd roars as Ace starts dragging them toward the ropes. Xavier grits his teeth and puts everything he has into the hold. Ace drags them both towards the ropes but seems to be fading with every inch.
King reaches for the ropes and his fingertips are just short… Then he drops his arm to the mat. Reid is yelling at the ref that Ace is out cold! The ref reaches down to check Ace - but he lunges forward and grabs the rope. The ref calls for the break as the fans go wild. Reid reluctantly releases the hold and rolls up to his feet, his face a mix of disgust and shock as he looks at King gasping for air, hand still firmly grasping the bottom rope.
Aiello: Reid really taking it to Ace here!
Bennett: The man is on a mission, Joe! He's declared himself the Best of BRAWL, and a win over the Undisputed Champion would only further cement it!
Reid walks over and grabs King, yanking him away from the ropes. Reid knife hand chops King right across the chest. The crowd replies with WOOOOO! Reid grabs King, and from out of nowhere, Ace hits a Frankensteiner Facebuster! His tag partner, El Pablo’s finisher: Taste the Rainbow! Both Ace and Xavier are lying on the mat as the ref is checking on them. Reid rolls to his side and starts to climb to his feet. King rolls onto his stomach and stands up. Both men are on their feet in the center of the ring!
Toe to toe, the men start exchanging shots - a hard left from Ace is followed by a right from Xavier. Both men reel from the shots, but they continue, each man determined to knock the other out cold. Each shot thrown causes the crowd to cheer louder and louder. They come to their feet as the two champions really start throwing wild shots in a flurry.
Ace cracks Xavier square in the mouth and his legs buckle. King winds up and Reid lunges forward with a headbutt right to King’s face! Ace staggers back and drops to one knee as blood starts to trickle from his nose. Xavier staggers a few steps to the side and grins at Ace, wiping some blood from the corner of his mouth.
Aiello: Things could get ugly here, Steve.
Bennett: Reid knows exactly what he's doing, Joe...but can Ace figure that out in time to plan accordingly?
Ace starts to stand but Xavier dashes in, catching him with a running punt kick to the head! Reid walks back over and pulls King to his feet by his hair, only to get a shot to the gut. Xavier doubles a bit as Ace gets back up on shaky legs. King ducks under a punch from Reid, hooking him up for a vertical suplex. Ace rolls it into another - and the crowd counts: 2! Ace hoists Xavier up and - Xavier blocks the suplex! Ace tries again and Xavier blocks it again!
A back elbow stuns King, then another before Reid slips out. King cracks Reid with an overhand left and follows it up with a right - but Reid blocks it! Xavier grabs Ace’s head and pulls him into a codebreaker - The BEAST Slayer! Ace looks out as Xavier rolls him up for the pin!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... XAVIER REID!!!
Xavier stands on wobbly legs as the ref raises his arm in victory! Ace slowly rolls out of the ring, dropping to one knee as Xavier motions around his waist for Ace’s title.
Aiello: Holy Crap! What a season ending match! Xavier Reid just beat Ace King! He has just cemented himself as a contender for the Undisputed title!
Bennett: These two really put it all out there tonight. The fans definitely got their money's worth!
The crowd cheers as Gabrielle Visconty walks out of the back. With mic in hand, she looks down at Ace King.
Visconty: Ace King! Undisputed Champion! Don’t you dare think I have forgotten about our match at Brawl earlier this year. No, I will be back around for that title… But I am not out here for you. Xavier Reid, you have my International title and I want it back. Yeah, I have heard you blow off at the mouth about me not even trying to get it back. Sadly, I was busy pinning Ace at Brawl a couple shows after I lost the title to you. But don’t think I have overlooked you… Not at all, pal. Next season I am going to pry that belt out of your hands! You’ve ran your mouth so much about how great you are, but it is time for someone to shut you up. That someone is me.
Gabi tosses the mic over her shoulder as Xavier snarls up at her, flipping her the double middle fingers. Ace nods at Gabi’s challenge as she winks back at him before walking into the back.
Aiello: Oh man, what a night it's been! Stitches has already staked his claim to the International Championship come WrestleFest, but now Reid has the looming threat of Gabi Vee to deal with if he can make it out of the weekend as champion! Folks, thank you for tuning into Monday Night BRAWL this past year! For Steve Bennett, I've been Joe Aiello and we will see you at WrestleFest XIX!
The last thing we see is Ace King and Xavier Reid staring each other down, realizing full well that their issues are far from over even with very different challenges awaiting them at WrestleFest XIX as the show comes to a close.
