The fans scream for delight as the X-Tron explodes to life. Pyro ignites on the stage.



The camera pans around the arena as fans scream for delight and begin their chants and raise their signs high into the air.

The camera flashes back to the X-Tron which shows the current FN'R roster... Lavender, Ruthann Hunter, Phoenix Winterborn, Autumn Raven, Moxie, Ace King, Tommy Burton, Queen Melody Malone, Megumi, The Love Child Jamie Love, Tanja Devereux, Darna Dare, Roisin Cadieux, Jason Hunter, Ruby Clifton, Mercenary, Karver, Samantha The Titaness Hamilton, Olivia Saint, Chris Miller. The scene cuts over to our brands champion, As Samantha Hamilton holds both the US Championship & HBO Broadcast Championship high. There's another round of pyro.




And then the camera cuts over to the commentary desk, where Martinez stands with a smile. Phillip Loydson sits with a scowl on his face. Martinez sits down, and Loydson fakes a smile.

Martinez: Welcome BACK folks to Friday Night Rampage!!! We are back in the new year with NEW matches and NEW fun to be had! Isn't that right?

Loydson: You're saying NEW so much I thought this was Northeast Wrestling!

Martinez: Nah my friend, this is RAMPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! And we have a STACKED card for you tonight!

Loydson: In our main event, it is Autumn Raven Vs Jamie Love Vs Phoenix Winterborn Vs Roisin Cadieux Vs Ruby Clifton Vs Tanja Devereaux in a gauntlet match, the winner will be the NEW HBO Broadcast Champion.

Martinez: And what a match that will be, any of those six may end the night as champion for the first time in their EWC career, exciting stuff!

Loydson: In our semi-final match, David Miller takes on Queen Melody Malone in a singles match, this being Melody's second match of the evening. 

Martinez: Because Malone is also working out opening match against Tommy Burton. And after that in our second match of the evening, Darna Dare and King Flip will meet under X-Division Rules!

Loydson: And after that but before our semi-final, Ace King takes on double champion Samantha Hamilton in a non-title match. 

Martinez: Lot of emotions pouring out of that one.

Loydson: You can say that again. 

Martinez: All this and more, tonight! Don't you go anywhere folks!

The crowd is going crazy waiting for the first match but then the lights in the arena go out. That is when Centuries came blasting over the speakers. The crowd are on their feet as the smoke around the X Tron clears and stepping out from the smoke is Ruthless Aggression. She looks around at the crowd as she holds back tears as she hears them singing her theme song. She wears a black and red leather jacket, the camera zooms to the back and it has a picture of her and Jaden as cartoon characters.

She turns around and looks at the Xtron taking in a deep breath as she starts playing to the crowd while she walks down the ramp. She walks over to the fans and jumps back into them as they were slapping her back. She climbs inside of the ring and she throws up an X into the air as the crowd starts to chant for Xplode. She looks up into the sky as the music died down. She holds back tears before looking around a bit pulling a microphone out of her inside pocket placing her hands into her pocket. She's about to say something as the chants started.

The Crowd: Thank you Xplode... Thank you Xplode...

Ruthann Hunter just nods as she bursts out laughing a bit with her tears wiping them a bit as she speaks.

Ruthann Hunter: For a man who was supposed to be the most hated wrestler among the fans, you all are showing love for him in a way I know he appreciated hearing these chants.

They chant again for Jaden Hunter as Ruthann couldn’t hold back as more tears were coming down her face as she waited for them to slow down a bit.

Ruthann Hunter: So, now why am I out here...It has been 23 years since EWC has started. They had so many great wrestlers in the past that helped to form this company into what it is at this time. They had men like Black Ninja who became the first-ever EWC Champion for this company whoever thought his name would be linked to something so big down the many years. He helped to make the EWC biggest title the most sought out title to have on your resume. It wasn’t only his name that is linked to that title but there is BDC....

The crowd chants his name.

Ruthann Hunter: Shadow Man......

The Crowd starts to chant for Tacos as she smiles.

Ruthann Hunter: Ashton Drake....

The Crowd started to chant his name as she took a deep breath.

Ruthann Hunter: My husband Jaden “Xplode” Hunter....

The crowd goes crazy once more as she nods with a serious look.

Ruthann Hunter: But it is not only those Hall of Famer names that are linked forever to this title, you also have female wrestlers who worked hard to show this company that a woman could be just as great...

NATALIE YOUNG...

The Crowd starts to chant for her.

Ruthann Hunter: Candy...

The Crowd starts to go crazy for her and Ruthann grins licking her lip.

Ruthann Hunter: The Queen herself Melody Malone.

The crowd also started to chant for her as Ruthann took a deep sigh.

Ruthann Hunter: I learned that Season 23 is going to be very special. It is going to be special because of the fact that the Undisputed Title will be put on the line at one of the biggest events in history. At the Rumble this year so... I am here to let everyone know Ruthless Aggression is in the Season 23 Rumble.

The crowd starts to go crazy as they couldn’t believe their ears but then Pulse of the Maggots by Slipknot begins to play after a few moments out comes former EWC World Champion El Chupacabra to a thunderous ovation flanked by younger sister Olivia Saint. Both enter the ring Olive gives Ruth a hug as El Chupacabra plays to the crowd. El Chupacabra asks for a mic.

El Chupacabra: I heard that the first episode of Rampage was going to be a rocking party and you can't have one of those without me.

Crowd goes nuts

El Chupacabra: I don't think anyone would have thought that we would have the single greatest woman's competitor in EWC history announcing she would be in the Rumble. Now I am not going to do that sorry. I am too old to go out there and win the Undisputed Championship. I can't be a weekly wrestler. Besides I am having fun cashing those fat royalty checks Mac sends me on a regular basis.

The crowd laughs wildly.

El Chupacabra: Now that being said I have something I need. I have done a great deal in EWC and I am proud of that, but something is missing. The biggest show of the EWC year is Stranglemania and while I have been there I never got that big moment. I never got to do that one defining thing at the big show. My career ended with a whimper, but I want it to go out with a bang. So here is what I propose. We take Ruthless Aggression and we team her up with her son Jason Hunter. On the other side, we take El Chupacabra and we team him up with his sister Olivia Saint.

The crowd goes nuts as Olivia stands at the side of her friend, her mouth agape.

Olivia Saint: Um what

El Chupacabra: You heard me.

Olivia Saint: I didn't ask for that.

El Chupacabra: No, but a little birdie told me you and he signed a pair of new contracts with EWC. He also told me he is managing you and you are the one doing the in-ring work.

Olivia Saint: I am going to murder my husband.

El Chupacabra: Look I want to go out in the most memorable way possible. This is what I want most.

Olivia Saint: Yes I am willing to do this. The only thing that makes this better is that I face my best friend and her son. As long as they are willing.

Olivia and El Chupacabra glance over at Ruth who was about to answer when Daechwita– Agust D (BTS SUGA) came blasting over the speakers. Jason, wearing a black Hugo Boss suit stood on the top of the ramp along with Sara wearing red pants set along with Diana wearing a gold pants suit and started walking down the ramp with him. He climbs inside of the ring holding the ropes for Sara and Diana. They glare over at Olivia as Sara looks at her up and down as Ruthann just stood shaking her head a bit. Jason looked right over at Olivia with a bit of a smirk.

Jason Hunter: Her son has a name and that is Jason Hunter. How are you doing little “sis”? It has been a while since I saw you. So, I was backstage listening to all of this happening and first I would like to say. Mom, I am happy to see you are going to step inside of this ring but just know this just because you are my mother doesn’t mean I won’t Drop Zone your ass like Dad have done to you in the past.

Ruthann glares over at Jason as she just smirks with a grin as he grins back and looks over at Olivia and EL Chupacabra. He just smirks a bit.

Jason Hunter: So, your two would like to be in a match against us two... Now give me one good reason why my mom and I should even think to let your two be in the presence of someone like us... I truly see it this way. You both know if my father was alive you both wouldn’t be able to place this challenge against him and my mother because he would have laughed right in your face... especially you El Chupacabra. You have done some great things and I will admit I would love to have your name added to many of the top talents from the past that I have the chance to step inside of this ring with but Olivia Saint... You couldn’t get Michael Saint...How about Mark Storm... or even Gabreal Martin How about Shelly...?

Jason notices the glare from El Chupacabra and also from Olivia with a bit of a smile.

Jason Hunter: Did I hit a little sore spot, Olivia. Look we both know you always have to try to get out of your brothers light... for the longest and trust me I know the feeling but I am not going to stand here and let you use my mother just because you EL Chaupacabra want to go out “big” on the account of who she is!

El Chupacabra: Do you really want to go there, kid? 100% straight here I have nothing, but respect for your father, and one of my regrets is never facing him. Ruth knows how much I respect her. I thought I respected you, Jason. I thought when I saw you I was looking at the future of this company, but I might be mistaken because what I see in front of me right now is a 170-pound bitch who wasn't able to satisfy Kimi Smalls.

Audible gasp from the crowd

El Chupacabra: You best watch your mouth, because if you doubt me all you need to do is check my resume. I was at the top of this company fighting guys like Shadow Man while you were in your freshmen gym class.

He gets in Jason's face.

El Chupacabra: Just you know I have zero issues taking you out here and now. I made this challenge out of respect for your mother and my sister. You ......

Olivia takes the microphone from her brother.

Olivia Saint: You know what Jason you are right. I am nobody and I don't deserve this, but if you think for one second that I am going to let you talk down to me like I am a child you are mistaken. It's my turn to hit a nerve. I have had a nice little semi-retirement, but I did watch EWC. Know what I saw? I saw Jason Hunter go back to the feeder system in Paramount because he couldn't hack it with the big boys and girls on Rampage. I may have fucked off for a few years, but at least I didn't stick around so I could coast on my parents’ name.

She grins ear to ear.

Olivia Saint: Since the cat is out of the bag, hey I am back. Now I still want that tag match, but since I obviously have to earn my keep here and you seem to doubt me, let's rectify that shall we. Next Rampage you and I one on one. You can talk about a really big game, but can you back it up. My last name is Saint and we tend to get ourselves in over our heads when we get pissed. I think it's time I get in over my head asap.

Jason just started to laugh as he wasn’t taking his eyes off of El Chupacabra placing the microphone to his lips.

Jason Hunter: I accept.

Ruthann nods a bit looking at everyone as she brought her microphone to her lips.

Ruthann Hunter: You know I have to agree with my son here. You see I have been sitting at home watching everything from my house training and being a mentor to those who still have respect for me but there have been a few people who made me realize something. They don’t respect what I did here in this company. They don’t respect what my husband has done for this company. They don’t respect my son. They are placing dirt on the Hunter name and guess what? They poke the bear for damn too long and now I am back to fucking reminder everyone why THE HUNTER name is EWC!  I would be happy and grateful at the fact I can stand across from your two and let every last person eat their words. It time for everyone to see why WE ARE THE HUNTERS! Why we are the best thing EVER happen to this company and I be happy to show it but your two need to do something in order to show you are even worthy of the honor to be in the ring with us so there is only one thing you need to do Olivia." 

Ruthann and Jason together step up to El Chupacabra and Olivia Saint as there is a staredown between everyone inside of the ring.

Ruthann Hunter: Prove it! Which I know your two would do in your match. My son and you will show to everyone in the locker what the best underdogs truly look like. Not to ever underestimate the fight and bite of someone when they feel they need to prove something! 

They all stare down at each other and before they walk out Ruthann turns and looks over at Olivia with a grin.

Ruthann Hunter: The match isn’t just going to be a normal match either... it will be an X-DIVISION STYLE MATCH! LET THE BLOOOOOOOD FLOW!

Jason just grins as he looked over at his mother as she winks at him as they climb out of the ring to leave the two of them. As the crowd goes crazy at what Ruthann say as her Centuries came blasting over the speakers with Olivia and and El Chupacabra.

We return to ringside where Javier Martinez and Phillip Loydson are primed and ready for the first match of Rampage this season.

Martinez: Mercenary is coming to Rampage, AND Ladies and Gentlemen WELCOME to the opening match tonight and Loydson, it’s going to be brutal. The Inmate Tommy Burton is squaring up for the first time ever against the self-proclaimed Queen of the EWC, Melody Malone. Both of them were heavily featured on Rampage last year, so it’ll be interesting to see how tonight shapes their upcoming season.

Loydson: Did you not see Melody on Brawl Monday night? Her season is shaping up nicely! Burton’s sick, sadistic, and honestly he kinda creeps me out.

Martinez: Will the creep factor play into tonight’s opening matchup though is the question!

Chriqui: The following match is a singles match with one fall. Introducing first from New Brunswick Canada & weighing in at 209 pounds... TOMMY BURTON!!!

The drum beat. The screaming guitar… The unmistakable sound of Nirvana.

The lights dim slightly, the orange strobe of the lower stage lights strobe over the hooded man walking out. His hardened jaw. His mouthguard. His taped hands clenched hard as he makes his way down to the ring.

As the Scentless Apprentice plays, and the lights come up, we see Tommy Burton pull back his hood and remove his Club jacket. His eyes wide… crazy looking.

The music lowers, Tommy removes his hoodie, dropping it to the mat, he once again clenches his hands together… “Let’s do this”

Chriqui: And his opponent from The Pleasure Palace & weighing in at 145 pounds... MELODY MALONE!!!

The lights dim, but don’t go dark before the soft words of Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me In A Crown” begin to play over the P.A. system. Melody comes out from backstage with her crown upon her head and her personal retainer Rory Hyland in tow. She’s unflinching to the crowd’s expression as she comes down the entrance ramp. Rory gets onto the apron, holding the ropes open for Melody to climb through without losing her crown. As Melody climbs into the ring, she gives the crowd a sarcastic smile before she relinquishes the crown to Rory and prepares for her match.

Martinez: Burton looks intensely focused tonight, what a way to kick off Rampage!

Loydson: Sure he’s focused, but he’s not the QUEEN Martinez!

DING DING DING

Burton and Malone begin circling one another, before they tie up and Burton uses his weight advantage and shoves Malone back onto her ass. She glowers at him before getting back to her feet and she ducks a tie up before applying a waist lock. Burton throws back an elbow, catching Melody in the mouth but she doesn’t release and attempts a suplex. She wrenches back but lacks the power to get the bigger man up and over her head. Instead, Burton pulls them both to the ropes where he latches onto the top rope with his arms and recoils back to send Melody into a backwards somersault. She scrambles back to her feet as Tommy turns around and leaps up with a drop kick that staggers Burton back against the ropes. She drives a knee into his midsection, opting to pull him toward the turnbuckle. She delivers a couple more stiff shots, dazing the bigger man before she winds up and whips him across the ring to the other corner with all her might. She takes off as she releases Burton, hitting the ropes and catching him as he bounces out of the corner with The Royal Treatment! She hits the mat following the somersault cutter and hooks the leg, getting a 1 count. She rakes her hair back and rolls Burton over onto his stomach, positioning her foot against the back of his head as she reaches for his arms. Unfortunately, Malone has taken just a little too long and Burton reaches back, hand clasping around Melody’s ankle behind his head and wrenching her knee to bring her down onto the mat. Malone yelps, the old injury at risk of flaring up and The Inmate gets back to his feet, eyeing Melody as she sits up kneeling and clutching her knee. Burton shoots out a kick to her chest as the crowd begins to count along.

Before he can capitalize on the onslaught of offense, Melody rolls out of the ring clutching her chest as she opts for a breather.

Martinez: Melody Malone might be in trouble here!

Loydson: The Queen will never fall, you don't worry a second!

Rory checks on Malone ringside, but Burton doesn’t give her the opportunity to get her bearings long before he grabs her by the shoulder and whips her into the outside post. He taps his jaw, almost begging Rory to step in before the official reminds him the count is up to 4 on the countout. He throws Malone into the ring and she rolls towards the center to put some distance between the two of them, and Rory mouths off ringside as Burton climbs onto the apron. He turns to look at the Scotsman but it gives Melody the opening to make a running attack and leap up to catch Burton with a knee to the jaw. Burton is stunned and Melody quickly tries to capitalize as she drags him back into the ring through the ropes, draping his feet on the second rope before she hooks his leg and drops him down with a modified Nightmare Fuel! She struggles to pull him back toward the middle of the ring, and by the time she does, she barely nets a 2 count with her pinfall. Slapping the mat in frustration she makes a move to climb the turnbuckle, but before she can get set Burton is back to his feet and throws himself into the ropes to knock Melody down onto the top of the turnbuckle where she folds. Her knee almost appears to buckle and she falls forward off of the turnbuckle and onto the mat.

The inmate stalks Melody in the corner, pulling her up and hooking her leg and shoulder before he sends her flying over his head with his exploder suplex. The Injection sends Melody flying, and crashing onto her back towards the center of the ring and gasping for air as she’s had the wind knocked out of her. Burton is feeling it now! He follows up, standing over Melody before putting one foot on her chest. It forces her to kick out at one, but barely as she struggles to regain her breath after the suplex. He pulls her to her feet, hooking both her head and arm before he snaps her over his head with the Cell Door Slam! Malone looks dazed as Rory shouts words of encouragement from ringside. Instead of going for the pin, he pulls her back up and hooks her in for another suplex but instead keeps her close and almost buries his nose into her hair to get a good sniff. Melody’s face contorts from pained to bewildered and uses the moment to throw an elbow back into the side of his head before spinning herself to face him and jumping up with a double knee facebreaker. The Crowning Achievement! Burton snaps back, hands over his face as Malone falls onto her back and both competitors are down.

Loydson: FINISH IT! PIN HIM!

Martinez: So much for unbiased commentary... 

Malone gets back to her feet first, staggering towards Burton who shoves her back as she attempts to bring him back to his feet. He gets to his feet on his own and as Melody attempts to leap up for a headscissors he grabs hold of her and halts her momentum, instead driving her down with a powerbomb to the mat. Her head snaps off the canvas and Burton can smell the blood in the water. He stomps down on her chest repeatedly, almost jackhammering her off of the mat before he lifts her to her feet and irish whips her into the turnbuckle. She runs up the turnbuckle though and springs backwards with a corkscrew senton, catching Burton and taking them both down to the mat. Melody is to her feet first, looking from the turnbuckle and back to Burton before she instead reaches down and hooks his leg around her neck, wrenching it tight as she wraps both arms around his leg. Burton tries to claw at Melody’s face, but she leans back and torques the knee back even further. After a moment, his attempts to break out prove unsuccessful and he has no choice but to give in.

DING DING DING

Chriqui: And your winner, via submission ... MELODY MALONE!!!

Malone lets go of the hold, scooting back and away from Burton as he immediately rolls over and tries to rub at his knee to regain some blood flow. Rory climbs into the ring behind Malone, handing off her crown and putting himself as a buffer between she and Burton as the referee holds her arm up high. Burton stares daggers into Melody and she takes a step closer, looking down as he attempts to get to his feet but instead finds himself inadvertently kneeling in front of her.

Martinez: Melody with the W tonight to kick off Rampage, but her night is only just beginning as she’s slated to face David Miller later tonight. One can only wonder what this took out of her and if she’s got enough time to recover.

Loydson: Burton put up a hell of a fight. If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought it was over after that powerbomb into the mat but that’s why Melody’s the Queen of the EWC and she’s proving it tonight.

Martinez: We'll be right back after this break.

Camera cuts to ...

Rose: We regret that we aren’t there in Long Beach tonight but…

Lane: The Southern Express Farewell Tour is in Milan and we are facing Senshi of the Blade this Sunday…

Rose: But fear not because The Southern Express Farewell Tour is making a stop in Columbia, South Carolina February 25th for Rampage #496…

There is a pop from the Rampage crowd upon hearing this news

Lane: But it’s not just any old stop is it Bobby…

Bobby and Jimmy smile as Bunny looks a little unsure about things

Rose: Oh no it’s not Jimmy because we have spoken to GM Grizzly Duggan and at Rampage #496 we will step into that ring against any EWC tag team that wants to accept our challenge in a Scaffold Match!!!

Lane: Rampage #496: The Night of the Skywalkers!!!!

The spot lights inside the Walter Pyramid shine up high above the ring to show the Scaffold hanging above the ring that causes a buzz inside the arena

Love: GREAT, do you know how many ‘broken hips are a death sentence to people your age’ jokes we are going to hear now…

But Bobby and Jimmy ignore her

Rose: So, who’s going to be the tag team to meet us up on the scaffold February 25th?

Lane: Well that remains to be seen but the challenge is out there boys and girls…

Rose: So whoever is brave enough to meet us 25 feet above the ring…

Lane: Where the only way to win the match is to throw BOTH of your opponents off the scaffold…

Rose: Let’s make history in Columbia, South Carolina…

Lane: And give the fans something to talk about for a lifetime at The Southern Express Farewell Tour stop at Rampage #496…

Martinez: A scaffolding match next week?! Good God! That'll be insane, but folks this crowd is excited for tonight's X-Division match, where RAMPAGE's Darna Dare will take on BRAWL's King Flip. I have to say that I am incredibly excited for this match as well! Darna Dare is the #1 Contender to the United States Championship, but before she can even think about clashing with Samantha Hamilton, she must jump over the hurdle known as King Flip.

Loydson: Blah blah blah Javier, the two in this match are just a couple of kids trying to get over with the fans. The last thing on Earth I would ever want to do, these fans are the worst fans in the entire world! King Flip should just stay on BRAWL where he belongs!

Chriqui: The following match is an X-Division match. Introducing first from Sugbu, Philippines & weighing in at 113 pounds... DARNA DARE!!!

Darna emerges amidst coils of thick, gray smoke, her hood raised and gaze trained upon the ring. Bold steps carry her into a dive through the ropes, where she rolls and comes up balanced on her hands, spine curved dramatically and legs extended, toes pointed in line with her determined glare. A few scuttling hand-steps are taken in this bizarre signature pose, before she thrusts her feet forward and flips to standing, rising in a distorted gymnast's salute, then a flamboyant bow to the crowd; a devilish grin gracing her lips.

Chriqui: And her opponent from The land of money and fame & weighing in at 220 pounds... KING FLIP!!!

K I N G F L I P zooms from right to left across the X-Tron and is followed swiftly by a small pyro. 'Machinegun' begins to play as the man in the hooded vest, head low, emerges from the curtain. He gets to the edge of the rampway when he lifts his hood to reveal that arrogant half smile.

The lyrics chime in as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. He slides into the ring and leans against the turnbuckle with arms agape as his theme plays. He turns to his opponent ready for the action to start as his theme fades.

Martinez: The Number One Contender for the United States Championship, Darna Dare, is looking to gain more momentum on her road to StrangleMania XVII!

Loydson: The man that calls himself the Cold Hearted King and thinks it's cool, King Flip... whoopie doo, rook.

DING DING DING

Darna rushes at King Flip who jumps over her basement dropkick attempt, but she slides over to the other side of the ring. She stands up when King Flip turns around and brushes his chin, contemplating a strategy to use against the much smaller Darna Dare. A flashbulb seems to appear over King Flip's head as he suddenly comes up with a wide smile on his face. He puts his hands up looking for applying a wrestling hold on her. However, he suddenly charges at Darna and jumps up to grab her arm, and slams her down to the mat, applying an armbar. King Flip wrenches the arm more, seeming intent on breaking Darna's arm before she can even use her arms against him. Darna Dare rolls over, pinning King Flip's shoulders to the mat while still in the submission hold.

King Flip is forced to let go of the submission hold and quickly rolls backwards, not allowing Darna to get ahead of him in the matchup. Darna Dare starts striking King Flip with low kicks, going for the back of his legs. King Flip gets frustrated after a while of taking these strikes, so he pushes Darna into the corner. He proceeds to lift her up to the top turnbuckles, delivering a knife edge chop when he does. He climbs up the turnbuckles and hits a super belly to belly suplex off of the top turnbuckle. Darna looks to be in a lot of pain from that move as she sits up, holding her back with a face of pain. King Flip walks over to her, having a face of annoyance on his face as he locks in a headlock. Darna stands up from the headlock after a while of being in the rest hold. When she does, she immediately scrambles underneath King Flip's legs and hits a single-legged dropkick that sends King Flip over into the corner turnbuckles. She wheels around the ring to sprint into a flying forearm and unleash a very vocal strike flurry, completing the Mongoose Brave Assault when they both go down to the mat.

Martinez: It seems like whoever is the first one to get up and capitalize on this situation will be the one to take home the winner's pot tonight. These two have already done damage to each other, so they need to start looking for their bigger moves.

Loydson: I hate agreeing with you, but I sometimes have to. These two just need to start thinking about going home already so we can all be done with this match.

Darna and King Flip stay down on the mat for a while, the only movement coming from either one is their breathing. From out of nowhere, King Flip kicks himself up with a kip up. He looks out to the fans smiling, with his arms extended after getting away with playing possum. He rolls Darna over and locks in KNEEL. While having Darna in this submission hold, his smile only seems to get wider and wider while forcing Darna to pay respect to the king by kneeling in front of him. Darna seems to be out of it with the referee contemplating on whether or not he should just end the match, but Darna comes out of nowhere with a second wind and somehow slips between King Flip's legs with King Flip looking behind himself with a look of surprise. Darna hits a Bronze Scorpion Kick that lands directly against King Flip's head. King Flip seems to be down for the count on this one so Darna goes for the pinfall with Pierce Patterson quickly getting down to count the pinfall.

Loydson: How in the world did King Flip kick out of that pinfall attempt?! I know that move isn't very convincing, but King Flip seems to be made out of something else, even after all of these years!

Martinez: This X-Division match is incredible! It has everything that you could expect out of an X-Division match, the two of these competitors just trying to outwit and outspeed the other!

Darna Dare points out to the fans, telling them that she's ready to end this match. She pulls King Flip up who rolls her up in a possum pin, but she quickly kicks out before Pierce even has time to count the pinfall attempt. She stands up after the sudden pinfall attempt from King Flip and starts climbing up the turnbuckles, offers a prayer to the spirits and jumps off the turnbuckles... But she crashes and burns! Flip drags Darna up by her hair and rolls her up, he's got a deep roll-up pin and Pierce Patterson gets down to the mat and begins counting the pinfall.

Darna Dare kicks out at 3, but it's too late. The match is over! King Flip was able to come to Friday Night Rampage and beat the number one contender to the US Championship.

Martinez: Darna Dare has fallen to the measuring stick of Monday Night BRAWL here in our X-Division of the night! Her future only seems to be getting brighter and brighter, but tonight King Flip was the brighter star!

Loydson: King Flip seemed to be turning back the clock for a moment in that match, impressing even myself. Well kids, it's time to move on to the rest of the show. Hopefully I can sneak some drinks in!

Camera cuts to ...

The camera cuts backstage inside the Walter Pyramid to Rampage’s own Brian Spade.

Spade: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time the EWC Undisputed Champion KILLJOY ITO…and his manager of course, ‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love…

The camera widens to show Buddy Love, who is standing next to Brian Spade wearing a huge smile on his face. Next to him is Killjoy Ito, the EWC Undisputed Championship over his shoulder. Brain looks at the pair and nods his head.

Spade: First off congratulations on your WrestleFest win over Ace King, Melody Malone and Moxie…

Buddy smirks as Brian names off the three Rampage stars

Love: Thank you Brian and truth be told I was a little shocked Rampage allowed us in the building here tonight…you know with us beating so many of its stars at WrestleFest…it was very big of Grizzle Duggan…

Spade: Well if we are speaking in truths Buddy WE here at Rampage are excited to have Killjoy and yourself here tonight because that means you are here to either scout Ace King or hype the much anticipated rematch between Killjoy and our very own Ace King at StrangleMania…

Brian smirks at Buddy but his reaction is a bit surprising, instead of looking annoyed the man looks…well excited

Love: Well WE are equally excited about Killjoy Ito v. Ace King for the EWC Undisputed Championship at StrangleMania!!!

Spade: You’re excited to be facing Ace King at StrangleMania with that championship on the line?

Buddy smiles and nods his head

Love: Oh yeah…listen we understand what a huge honor it is to Main Event EWC’s BIGGEST show of the year. Look back at all the top names that have been in our spot, it’s a who’s who of Hall of Famers and future Hall of Famers like Ace King and Stitches, Scorpio and Melody Malone, Xavier Reid and Dominic Sanders, Griffin Hawkins and Drake, Titan and Xplode, Level One and Shadow Man…Hall of Famers like Luke Wolfe, Ruthann Hunter, Memphis Reigns, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake and Ebon have all Main Evented StrangleMania and Killjoy Ito get to take his place amongst the GREATS of the EWC in what I dear to say is the MOST anticipated Undisputed Championship match in some time…

Brian is about to cut in but Buddy just continues

Love: With all due respect to the recent Undisputed Championship Main Events at StrangleMania there wasn’t…any spark to them…not like this year. Ace King and Killjoy Ito have had a rivalry the past two years that I believe has been one of the BEST the EWC has ever seen. Sure it was not ‘Honored’ in the way Gideon Gage and Grizzly Duggan’s little scuff up was this year or even Mac’s feud with Scorpio last year but I challenge ANYONE to point out any matches that have mattered more the last two years than the ones that Killjoy and Ace have put on…I’ll wait…

Buddy pauses and just as Brian is about to say something Buddy continues

Love: These two have been MONEY for the EWC and they will once again deliver at StrangleMania Brian and the lead up to that legendary night starts here and now. We didn’t come here to have a dust up with Ace…we will save that for the traditional contract signing…

Love: I kid, I kid…no we came here this week to wish Ace King nothing but good luck on his road to StrangleMania, which just so happens to start against one of our fellow Love Club members here tonight, Samantha Hamilton alongside my father Tommy Love…we aren’t here to cause any trouble, just to look the man in the eyes and say…

But Buddy stops talking as Ace King walks into frame, looking uncharacteristically amused by what he’s just heard. The Long Beach crowd cheers as Ace casts a sideways glance in Ito’s direction before focusing his attention back on ‘The Prodigal Son.’

Ace King: All apologies, Buddy, as it sure sounded like you were getting on a roll there, so my bad for butting in. Now, what was it you were going to say? As you said, I’ve got a match coming up, so that’s where my focus ought to be, you know?

The amusement slightly fades from Ace’s complexion as he waits for Buddy to speak up, paying little mind to his future StrangleMania opponent in the present.

Love: Good Luck Ace, that is what we wanted to say to you here tonight.

Buddy smiles as he extends his hand towards Ace who looks at it and then at Killjoy. Ace takes a long look down at Buddy’s hand, then shakes his head, but instead of walking away, he offers a small fist bump in return.

Ace King: I appreciate the gesture, I really do… but, I’ve got a pretty good idea of where that hand’s been, so in an era of trying to reduce contact…

Buddy looks at Ace’s fist and the smile vanishes from his face but Killjoy elbows him and after looking at his client he bumps fists with Ace. The former Undisputed Champion offers Buddy a thin smile before turning his attention to Killjoy, who stands proudly with the Undisputed Championship over his shoulder. Things quiet down around the two men as tension fills the atmosphere.

Ace takes a long look at the Undisputed Championship before standing tall and looking Killjoy dead in the eyes… then takes a step back and offers the Undisputed Champion a customary bow. Though somewhat puzzled by the action, Ito returns the gesture before Ace heads off toward the gorilla position.

We return to ringside where Pierce Patterson is standing in the middle of the ring waiting for the combatants.

Martinez: This could possibly be the one that steals the show.

Loydson: I highly doubt that

Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida & weighing in at one hundred and forty five pounds... Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton

'Indestructible' by Disturbed blares over the PA system. As it does, we see the forms of The Titaness, her husband, Joseph "Orion" Hunter, and 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love all standing at the top of the ramp. The Titaness saunters down the ramp, flanked by Joseph on one side and Tommy on the other.

When she finally gets to the ropes, the Titaness will slip through the middle and top ropes, waiting patiently for her opponent.

Chriqui: And her opponent from Las Vegas, Nevada & weighing in at 235 pounds....The Gambler Ace Kimg

"Ace of Spades" rips through (insert arena here), and the crowd cheers as pyro goes off in time with the opening drum beats. Ace King then calmly steps out onto the stage, his eyes narrowed and focused on the ring.

Ace rolls his head around the back of his neck for a few seconds before focusing back in on the ring, then makes his way down the ramp, interacting with a few fans along the way. He stops a few steps short of the ring, then dives in under the bottom rope as red pyro explodes from each turnbuckle. Ace pauses on his knees in the middle of the ring for a moment before getting to his feet, his attention locked in on Samantha Hamilton.

Martinez: Sam looks ready to go for the season opener.

Loydson: Ace looks naked without some gold on his shoulder.

DING DING DING

Ace and Sam don't waste time as they immediately meet in the center. Sam throws a right hook which Ace blocks. Ace goes to throw one of his own but Sam blocks it. Sam goes to throw another hook.but stops mid move and catches Ace with a left hook instead. The shot rocks Ace as he stumbles a bit. Sam follows the left hook with a right jab before taking Ace down with a vicious elbow strike to his jaw.

Ace is holding his jaw as he gets up to his feet. Right as he does so, Sam comes flying at him looking for a dropkick. Ace catches both of her legs and uses her own momentum to catapult her into the top turnbuckle. Sam's head bounces off the thin padding as Ace proceeds to roll her up with a school boy.

Sam kicks out before Pierce can count to two. Both competitors are back to a vertical base as Sam grabs Ace around the neck. She lands a few good knee strikes into his sternum before popping her hips and tossing him over head with a suplex.

Martinez: Big suplex from Samantha Hamilton there as she looks to control the early goings of this one. 

Loydson: Which is no easy feat against Ace King. 

Ace is clutching at his lower back as Sam comes springing off the ropes with a leg drop across his neck. Sam immediately gets back up to her feet. Ace is slowly getting back up to his feet. Just as he does, Sam places her hand around his neck. She starts to jaw jack with him before hoisting him up into the air. Before she can bring him back down, Ace somehow manages to wiggle himself down behind her where he latches his arms around her waist. With a quick pop of his hips, Sam is tossed over head with her landing hard on the back of her neck.

Ace quickly pops back up to his feet while grabbing Sam by her hand and dragging her to the corner. He proceeds to stomp her repeatedly before running towards the opposite corner. As he is coming back, he is met with a big boot which flattens him in his tracks. Sam picks Ace up, places her hand around his throat again, hoists him up into the air before dropping him down across her knee. Ace growls as Sam drops down on top of him while hooking one of his legs.

Not enough has been done as Ace rolls his shoulder up before the count of two. Sam smacks the canvas a couple times before dropping her forearms repeatedly across Ace's chest. After doing so, she goes for another cover.

Thr.....

Almost a three count according to Pierce but Ace manages to kick out. Sam is starting to show a little frustration as she gets back up to her feet. She bends down to pick Ace up but he counters with a small package.

Sam immediately kicks out while rolling back up to her feet. Ace gets back up as they once again meet in the middle throwing hands at each other.

Loydson: This isn't a wrestling match, this is a war. This is a slobberknocker and someone is going to go to sleep!

Martinez: I think you are right!

Sam appears to have the upper hand as she throws a hard right into the jaw of Ace. Ace staggers as Sam comes running at him. Ace ducks a clothesline attempt and catches her on the rebound with a vicious spine buster. Ace picks Sam up off the canvas and shoots her off toward the corner. He comes flying in and lands an enziguri to the back her ear. She staggers out of the corner as Ace climbs up onto the middle rope. He leaps off, hooks her head with his legs before front flipping into a pile driver. Ace immediately hooks both legs.

Martinez: Now that is how you bounce back from a loss at WrestleFest. I can only imagine what Killjoy Ito is thinking right now.

Loydson: Sam tried her hardest to stop his momentum but it just wasn't enough.

Martinez: Tough loss for Hamilton here tonight, we'll be back after this break.

We return to ringside where the ring is being inspected now that the war between The Titaness and The Gambler recently ended. We cut to commentary as the EWC crew finishes up its last inspections of the ring.

Martinez: If you just missed the live war between our new United States Champion, Samantha Hamilton versus Ace King, I very highly recommend watching it when you can. For now, our focus goes to the former United States Champion, Melody Malone, who is going to partake in her second fight tonight.

Loydson: And her opponent? David Fucking Miller. As the nickname says, one of the toughest bastards in the business indeed. He may be good, but this ain’t his turf and he’s also against our Queen, goddamnit! Take us away, Chriqui!

Chriqui: The following match is for one fall. Introducing first from Long Beach, California, & weighing in at 235 pounds... DAVID MILLER!!!

As the aggressive cadence of Damnation Plan's “Judgement Day” rips through the speakers, the lights shift to rapid strobes as David Miller marches out from behind the curtain, head bowed and fists clenched. A sudden twist cracks the bones in his neck as he starts down towards the ring, paying no attention to the mixed reaction of the crowd. Reaching the floor, he climbs the ring steps and ducks between the ropes, silently pacing the inside of the ring while peeling off his jacket. Tossing it aside he moves to his corner and turns, locking his eyes on the stage as he awaits the bell.

Chriqui: And his opponent from San Diego, California, & weighing in at 145 pounds, SHE IS YOUR QUEEN OF THE EWC, ... MELODY MALONE!!!

The lights dim, but don’t go dark before the soft words of Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me In A Crown” begin to play over the P.A. system. Melody comes out from backstage with her crown upon her head and her personal retainer Rory Hyland in tow. She’s unflinching to the crowd’s expression as she comes down the entrance ramp. Rory gets onto the apron, holding the ropes open for Melody to climb through without losing her crown. As Melody climbs into the ring, she gives the crowd a sarcastic smile before she relinquishes the crown to Rory and prepares for her match.

Martinez: After his loss on the Brawl premiere, you know Miller’s gonna be looking to bounce back. But Malone has the momentum on her side as she already won earlier tonight!

Loydson: Were he against just about anyone else, we may be witnessing exactly that. But this is our Queen he’s been put up against. I’m not gonna be amazed if she leaves with her arm raised instead.

DING DING DING

Despite being in their own recent matches, the two wrestlers are quick to move. Miller is the first to reach Malone, and wraps his arms around the Queen’s waist, hoisting her up into a Snap DDT. As Melody is lifted beside Miller’s head, however, she slams an elbow hard against the temple.

David winces as he lets go, unceremoniously dropping Melody in the process. The Queen doesn’t seem too fussed, deciding it was better than taking the full damage had the Snap DDT been successful.

Taking advantage of David still in agony, she goes towards the ropes, leaping off with a Suicide Dive!

Miller tries to dodge and even catch Malone, but no! They both go through the ropes and land roughly on the concrete. The crowd cheers as the referee begins to count. Slowly but surely, the two get to their feet, each rolling back into the ring - albeit painfully - a few seconds after Patterson counts to five.

Martinez: Only a few minutes into this match, and they are already in pain! My lord!

Loydson: Yes my child? I mean, focus on the damn match. It's MALONE!

Melody is the first to move as she half-saunters, half-limps towards Miller. She tries to lock in her submission, The Queen’s Grace, but once David feels and recognizes what she’s going for, he refuses to let her finish what she’s starting.

He slams a boot straight up into Malone’s jaw, causing her to collapse onto the mat like a sack of potatoes.

Miller now hurries over towards the fallen Queen, seeing an opportunity to end this fight here and now. He places Malone onto her knees and … wham! Stiff Knee Lift straight to Melody’s forehead!

As she falls back to the mat, David goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

THR – NOOOO!

David looks stunned as Melody just barely manages to get a shoulder up! He narrows his eyes, now looking absolutely furious as he paces quickly while allowing the Queen to recover, mainly to avoid being disqualified.

Once she stands up, he charges forward, going for a Belly To Back Suplex! But The Queen is not down and out, something she happily shows off with an Enzuigiri right to Miller’s sternum!

Both are breathing heavily, with Melody shakily remaining on her feet while David is on his back atop the canvas. Malone’s eyes catch sight of the ropes, and an idea seems to come to her. She slowly moves towards them, all while still watching Miller in case he recovers too soon.

Loydson: Malone is ready to end this match and call it a night 3-0 on the year after just TWO TV Tapings!

Martinez: It is looking possible!

The Queen is standing atop the ropes as David does indeed manage to lift his head. He tries to hurry back up to his feet, which causes Melody to hastily leap off. She lands, although in a slightly awkward way, but still connects with her finisher, Off With Their Head! She crawls towards Miller and hooks the legs!

Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall, THE QUEEN OF THE EWC, ... MELODY MALONE!!!

Medics come out and immediately begin checking up on both wrestlers. They both stubbornly try to refuse help, but the doctors are equally as insistent that they get checked out. Miller is the first to agree, although clearly with an irked look on his face.

Melody hesitates, but hears Rory convincing her to accept the aid. She nods and does so, looking as annoyed as Miller.

Stretchers are brought out and both wrestlers are carefully placed on top of them. The crowd cheers for both The Queen and The Toughest Bastard In The Business as they’re each carried backstage.

Martinez: What an absolute war we just witnessed! One has to wonder if Malone will even be able to finish her tour with a clean sweep of wins, or if someone will put a stop to her momentum? For that matter, will she be able to keep fighting?

Loydson: I’m pretty damn sure she will. I gotta admit, Miller may not have won, but he definitely impressed me. Kudos to him for giving us a hell of a display, and we’re not even done with tonight’s episode.

Martinez: That's right, we've got our main event right after this break!

Camera cuts to ...

Cameras are trying to keep up with Malone as she and her entourage are quickly exiting the building following her match with David Miller. The cameraman is nearly knocked sideways though as his shoulder is clipped by Rory, looking down at the pursuing media team.

Rory Hyland: Can I help you, boys?

Ace Heart: Well I was just trying to get a word with Melody following her victory over David Miller. Two matches in one night are rare, two in the season opener is practically unheard of.

Rory Hyland: And not only that, but we’re 48 hours away from Prime where she’s got yet another match scheduled. You got a time machine backstage somewhere?

Ace Heart: Uh…. well no?

Rory Hyland: Then she better get moving then, if she’s going to make it out to Italy with enough time to spare. You want a word from her? You’ll get one next Rampage after she completes her EWC brand tour. Now piss off.

Rory turns around, heading off at a quick pace to catch back up with the ladies on their way out to catch their charter plane to Milan Italy for Prime 91.

Martinez: Up next, our main event! It's a gauntlet match to determine the new HBO Broadcast Champion!

Loydson: And Roisin and Tanja are the unlucky two who drew #1 and #2. Ouch.

Chriqui: The following match is a gauntlet match. The match will continue until 5 competitors have been eliminated. Starting us off, Roisin Cadieux and Tanja Devereaux!

Martinez: Here we go folks, no slowing down after this I can promise you.

Loydson: That's for true.

DING DING DING

Here in the #1 and #2 position, it is all about conserving strength and energy to run the gauntlet. Roisin and Tanja lock-up in a shoulder/collar tie-up, their similar heights being advantageous for Tanja at first, but quickly Roisin is able to use his weight advantage to pull her into a side-headlock. Roisin transitions into a front-facelock and begins to knee Tanja in her gut repeatedly. Roisin jumps into Tanja with a double leg-scissors and looks to spike her down with a DDT but Tanja powers Roisin up onto her shoulders in a fireman's carry and drops him with a death valley driver! Roisin gets to his feet in a flash, but a Tanja roundhouse kick drops him to a knee. Tanja grabs on a front-facelock and drags Roisin to the ropes where she kicks off into a tornado DDT.

Martinez: Some smart wrestling here, a mixture of grappling to wear down the opponent and power moves to keep them down. 

Loydson: But one mistake and your goose is as good as cooked.

Tanja pulls Roisin up into another front-facelock and lands another tornado DDT. Roisin is slow to his feet and he stumbles around the ring trying to find his footing. Tanja pulls him up into a fireman’s carry. Roisin slips out the back and lands a European uppercut to the base of Tanja’s skull, dropping her to her knees as she grabs at her now throbbing head. Roisin grabs on a rear-facelock, body-scissors the body and jumps into a reverse DDT! It’s a reverse Days Of The Tiles! Roisin covers!

Loydson: Roisin almost had it there, that will come back and bite Tanja later in this gauntlet if she survives!

Martinez: That could very well be a death sentence already in this one. 

Roisin drags Tanja up into a front-facelock and goes for another DOTT, but Tanja again powers him up into a fireman’s carry and this time she drops him into a swinging side-slam. It’s Tanja’s City Of The Dead! Both Roisin and Tanja are down, but crawling to the ropes. Roisin is up first and he gains the strength to rush Tanja and floor her with a running European uppercut to the chin. Tanja falls backwards against the ropes. Roisin backs up and hits the opposite ropes for a rebounding rush into Tanja but Tanja jumps into a roundhouse kick that clotheslines Roisin! Tanja drags Roisin up to his knees and lands a third roundhouse kick. Tanja drags Roisin up again for a 4th roundhouse kick! Roisin falls dead-weight onto his face. Tanja drags him up and lands a 5th roundhouse kick with no sign of defense from Roisin. Toyo Yasahiro calls for the bell. This match is over.

Martinez: Tanja wins the first match of the gauntlet by roundhouse kicks!

Loydson: I think they call that, get kicked to fucking death!

Medical staff roll Roisin out of the ring and carry him to the back, Tanja doesn’t get any sign of rest though as Autumn Raven comes flying into the ring with a diving double stomp to the base of Tanja’s skull! Broken Future! Toyo Yasahiro backs Autumn up and gives Tanja a moment to stand and catch her breath before letting the match continue. Autumn rushes Tanja and hits a giant dropkick that sends Tanja over the top rope to the outside! Autumn rolls out to the apron and waits for Tanja to get to a hunched over position before jumping down into a second Broken Future, this one to Tanja’s lower-back! Tanja screams out in pain and Autumn laughs while stomping down at the small of her back.

Loydson: They don't call her a psychopath for nothing.

Martinez: This is hard to watch!

Autumn drags Tanja up and shoves her into the ring-post, both Tanja’s head and back hit hard and Tanja falls to the ground yelling out in pain from the cumulative damage she’s taking. Autumn rolls into the ring and then rolls back out to break Toyo’s count. Autumn climbs up onto the apron and sizes up Tanja, she jumps for a third Broken Future, but Tanja sees the reflection in a fan’s sunglasses and jumps out of the way. Autumn lands hard and her knee buckles!

Loydson: Tanja owes that fan a free beer!

Martinez: If she wins this gauntlet, she may very well marry him!

Tanja rushes into Autumn and drags her up into a fireman’s carry, Tanja screams out in pain as her back is on fire, but she drops Autumn onto the top of her head with a death valley driver on the apron! Autumn Raven rolls into the ring, grabbing her head and flailing her legs in vain trying to stand. Tanja gets up onto the apron and yells out in pain, yells out for strength as she jumps into the ring with a springboard roundhouse kick! Autumn Raven lays motionless in the ring. Tanja drags Autumn up by her hair into a front-facelock, from there she transitions into a swinging reverse STO. Autumn’s face hits the canvas hard off Death's Call. Tanja covers!

Loydson: Tanja Deveraux has beaten Roisin AND Autumn! She's only got 3 more opponents to go!

Martinez: But look fast!

Tanja gets to her hands and knees and tries to stand, but Ruby Clifton rushes into the ring and smashes her knee into the base of Tanja’s skull. Tanja tries to stand again, but Ruby smashes her knee into Tanja’s jaw. Ruby drags Tanja up by her hair and smashes her knee into Tanja’s temple before taking-a-back and grabbing on a rear-naked choke. Ruby pulls Tanja backwards into a body-scissors and the two hit the canvas. Within seconds Tanja is out cold. Toyo calls it, but Ruby refuses to drop the hold! Jamie Love comes in with a basement dropkick right into the side or Ruby’s face! Medical staff finally get Tanja out of there while Ruby and Jamie prepare themselves.

Loydson: Tanja with the run of her Rampage career, snuffed out by Ruby Clifton. You both LOVE and HATE to see it. 

Martinez: I imagine these two are going to be throwing down very soon to settle that!

Ruby advances on the smaller Jamie Love, but Jamie jumps into a leg enziguri that drops Ruby to a seating position. Jamie jumps into another dropkick, this one into Ruby’s midsection. Ruby uses the momentum to roll over up to her feet and jump into her own dropkick that knocks Jamie off his feet! As Jamie attempts to stand, Ruby rushes him and lands a Ruby Red Vision shining wizard to the back of his head! Ruby grabs her leg following the wizard though, as the enziguri and Jamie’s thicc head now have her leg on fire.

Ruby gets to her feet and tries to hide her limp and she yanks Jamie into a standard DDT. Ruby goes for the cover.

Loydson: Jamie Love isn't giving into the multitude of covers from Ruby!

Martinez: He's going to weather out the storm, I can feel it. 

Ruby drags Jamie up, but Jamie quickly grabs onto her leg and pulls her into an ankle-lock! Jamie drops the hold and kicks Ruby’s leg as it falls. Ruby screams out. Jamie stomps down onto her leg repeatedly before Toyo shoves him off. Ruby gets to her feet, Jamie comes up from behind with a basement dropkick to the back of Ruby’s leg! Jamie gets to his feet, not letting Ruby get any rest, as he grabs her leg and drops down into a leg-DDT.

Loydson: Jamie is a man possessed, he's looking to break that leg!

Martinez: And he might just do that!!!

Jamie drags Ruby up to her feet and lands a clean forearm smash, before kicking her in her leg to drop her to her knees. Jamie drags her back up and rains down the forearm smashes, just over and over. Jamie caps off his offense with a standing neckbreaker. Jamie goes for the cover, Ruby kicks out at one while screaming he can go screw himself! Jamie slaps Ruby, returning the favor from earlier, before grabbing her legs and locking on his Love Lock! Ruby is fighting, she’s almost at the ropes… she’s almost, Jamie pulls her back into the center of the ring and locks it on tighter… RUBY TAPS, SHE TAPS!

Loydson: Ruby has to tap to avoid breaking her leg, Jamie is in the final two. Jamie is in the final two! Here comes Phoenix Winterborn in the final position, what a great number to draw!

Martinez: This might be Winterborn's moment, his chance to make it all about him and win a title in the EWC.

Jamie backs up to the ropes, looking towards the ramp waiting for Winterborn… who COMES UP FROM BEHIND HIM AND SNAP-DRAGON SUPLEXES HIM OVER THE TOP ROPE TO THE PADDED CONCRETE!

Winterborn drags Jamie up by his ear and then lands a spinning backfist, Jamie falls to his left onto the barricade. Phoenix Winterborn grabs on a sleeper-hold and rips Jamie backwards into another snap-dragon suplex. Winterborn pulls Jamie up and rolls him into the ring. Phoenix takes his time climbing up the steps and then climbing the top rope before elegantly jumping into an inverted 450 splash that lands flush on Jamie Love! Flight Of The Phoenix! Phoenix Winterborn makes a deep cover on Jamie Love while laughing like a man possessed.

Chriqui: And your winner running the gauntlet, and NEW HBO Broadcast Champion ... PHOENIX WINTERBORN!!!

Winterborn gets to his feet and dusts off his shoulder before dragging Jamie Love up in another sleeper and landing another snap-dragon. Medical staff roll Jamie out of the ring to stop any further damage. 

Martinez: Phoenix Winterborn, he's done it. He has won an EWC Championship. He is the HBO Broadcast Champion!

Loydson: But he might not have that belt long, I am being told next week it is Jamie Love Vs Phoenix Winterborn in a LADDER match!

Martinez: OH MY GOD, That match may end in someone being seriously injured after tonight and considering the rivalry these men have. But now we have a title ceremony to handle!

The music dies down some, but moments later, it quickly starts up again. 'Indestructible' by Disturbed plays over the PA system. At the top of the ramp is Samantha herself, looking down at the end result of the carnage from the main event. She's nodding and clapping in approval, walking slowly down with the HBO Broadcast over her right shoulder. She steps through the ropes and soon finds herself face to face with Phoenix Winterborn, looking genuinely impressed.

Hamilton: Well now ... congratulations, Phoenix. You've come a long way since our Dog Collar Match. Just know two things. First and foremost, you got huge shoes to fill and two? I'll always be watching from afar and seeing how you fare in holding onto this strap. Good luck!

Sam then pulls the HBO Broadcast Championship off of her shoulder and hands it over to Phoenix Winterborn, allowing him to lift it over his head and bask in the spotlight. The Titaness watches Winterborn for a few more moments before quietly exiting the ring.

After Samantha Hamilton hands Phoenix the championship belt, Marissa Davidson joins him in the ring, handing him a microphone. Phoenix nods his head, and slumps into the corner, sitting down. His breath is heavy, as he looks out on the crowd packed into the Pyramid.

Phoenix Winterborn: January twenty fifth, twenty nineteen is when i signed my contract with EWC. A mixture of cheers and boos roar throughout the Walter Pyramid, as Phoenix's music comes back to life, Marissa helping him to his feet. Phoenix climbs to the middle rope, thrusting the title belt up high for all the see before clutching it to his chest and bending down next to it.
