"START A FIGHT" by GHØSTKID blasts in the Arena
The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #584 in Baku.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, from Xplode defeating Shadow Man to unify the belts to footage of the men and women of BRAWL who have held the illustrious title including Ashton Drake, Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and Xavier Reid, before ending on the current champion Killjoy Ito.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, King Flip, Candy, Tyler Bradford, KU, Antoni Malietoa, Stitches, Rebel Rhodes, Darius, Iggy Swango, Dio, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Rebel Rhodes with the FX Broadcast Championship
King Flip with the EWC International Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

Aiello: Hello everyone and welcome to Monday Night BRAWL here in lovely Antwerp, Belgium! I'm Joe Aiello along with Hall of Famer Steve Bennett, and we have a STACKED show ahead of us as we get ready for Invasion next month, followed by PARABELLUM as we engage in Brand Warfare!
Bennett: Ain't that the damn truth, Joe? We're about to host PARAMOUNT and tensions are high as we gear up for a hell of a show!
Aiello: In our main event we see King Flip defend the EWC International Championship against Gabrielle Visconty, in a No Ropes No DQ match! Gabi made it clear how annoyed she was by the announcement, since it clearly seemed to cut out a good chunk of her offense...
Bennett: Well boo freakin' hoo Gabi, you can always use climb the turnbuckle another way for your flippy moves! Either way this means a hard-hitting contest, with nonsense whatsoever!
Aiello: We also have the EWC X-Division Champion in non-title action as El Pablo joins us from PARAMOUNT to take on Stitches, who we've seen undergo some changes as of late.
Bennett: Something very peculiar about all this, Joe, but I think that only makes him more dangerous against the champ.
Aiello: In our other title bout of the evening, Rebel Rhodes defends in what could be her biggest challenge to date as she takes on both Chelsea Skye and the Bullet, Alex Carbajal, in triple threat action!
Bennett: There's a three-way joke in there somewhere Joe, but we are a PROFESSIONAL wrestling company!
Aiello: Rounding out our in-ring action for the evening is a triple threat match against our newest signees, including the returning Captain Morgan Darkwater and the debuting Kolby Kreel and JoJo Rush! But first, we kick things off with tag team action as S.T. take on The Bastards after what we saw take place a couple weeks ago!
Suddenly, the pair are interrupted by a video playing on the X-Tron...
Aiello: What that...was that Malcolm Blades!?
Bennett: I haven't seen him in a hot minute!
Aiello: It's clear to me that the man who calls himself Glory is looking to debut in EWC soon! Folks, in just a moment we'll kick off the action here on Monday Night BRAWL!

The camera cuts backstage inside the Sportpaleis where we find ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walking backstage, whistling a tone as he heads towards The Love Club locker room. He is all smiles as he turns the corner and sees his son, ‘The Love Child’ Jamie Love storming out of the Love Club’s locker room looking pissed off and ready to tear someone’s head off.
T.Love: Son…where are you…
But Jamie shoves him out of his way and continues to walk on by as he heads towards the gorilla position. Tommy watches as his son turns the corner and disappears and he continues to walk towards the Love Club’s locker room. He opens the door and sees his ex-wife Maria Love and Xavier Reid.
T.Love: What the hell is going on?
Maria looks at Tommy and shrugs
M.Love: Seems Xavier and Jamie had a little talk…I only got here towards the end of the…
But Xavier holds up his hand, cutting Maria off.
Reid: Conversation…Jamie and I had a little chat…a little ‘motivational’ chat…
Xavier smiles as Tommy who exhales as he shakes his head
T. Love: Xavier…we can’t keep winding Jamie up like that…he looks like he’s going to snap at any moment…
Reid: And that’s exactly how I want him Tommy…I want to unlock the monster within him Tommy, I want him dangerous tonight…
M. Love: Yeah…and what if he snaps on you Xavier…
Xavier continues to smile
Reid: He won’t…
T. Love: How can you be so sure kid…I saw the look on his face…
Reid: He could have hit me before he stormed out but he didn’t…Jamie wants to be a champion here in the EWC…more than anything else in this world…he wants EWC Gold and I’m the best chance he has to obtain that gold…
Xavier stands up
Reid: We are ONE WIN AWAY…one win…Jackie Layton and Saoirse Maguire…S.T., that’s all that stands in our way…you both understand that right…a win over S.T. and we are the ONLY choice to face Bobby and Jimmy at Parabellum, who else can they pick…The Express has beaten everyone else…The Bastards are all that’s left and I can’t take any chances here tonight…so…
Xavier starts to walk towards the door
Reid: Tonight I set an angry and pissed off Jamie Love on S.T. and watch as he does his worst…I want him to be dangerous…the ladies of S.T. want a bloodbath, a bloodbath they will get and we will once again remind them that while they may be king shit elsewhere here in the EWC…they are nothing more than a stepping stone…
Xavier smiles as he exits The Lover Club locker room leaving Tommy and Maria alone, she looks at Tommy and shakes her head
M. Love: You know this is going to implode right…
Tommy smiles and shakes his head
T. Love: Not if they win tag team championship gold…
Tommy grabs ‘The Love Stick’ and heads towards the door as the camera cuts away to ringside...
A BRUTAL TAG BOUT AWAITS!
TAG TEAM MATCH
S.T.
VS The Bastards
TAG TEAM MATCH
S.T.
VS The Bastards
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by.
Aiello: What a statement from Xavier Reid, who looks ready to go after tag team gold even with his rising tension with his partner Jamie Love! Folks, our opening contest is nearly underway as Reid and Love team up to take on the returning Bandit and Psycho, looking to put an end to the insults that have thrown at them!
Bennett: I can respect them looking to make a statement Joe, but it's gonna take more than just heart to beat The Bastards!
Stroup: The following match, set for one fall, is a tag team contest. Joining us first, at a combined weight of 225 pounds, Jackie "Bandit" Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire ... S.T.!
"Pledge Your Allegiance" by Suicidal Tendencies starts up. 12 seconds in, the "S! T!" chants start. Aoife "Banshee" Maguire takes this as her cue to walk through the curtain. A second later, the team known as S.T., Jackie "Bandit Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire, walk through the curtain as well. The three women make their way to the ring where Banshee steps through the ropes first, the others following her in. She takes the center of the ring and points to the two corners facing the camera. Bandit takes the left corner, Psycho takes the right and all three raise a fist in the air.
Stroup: And the opponents, at a total combined weight of 340 pounds, Jamie Love and Xavier Reid ... THE BASTARDS!
As 'For The Glory' plays out as 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love walks out onto the stage first, he turns and points 'The Love Stick' back as his son Jamie Love walks out and then Xavier Reid. The three men stand there for a moment looking at each other but all three turn as Maria Love comes walking out, she ignores Tommy and motions for Jamie and Xavier to follow her as she leads the two towards the ring as Tommy runs to catch up with 'his' team.
DING DING DING
Bandit and Jamie start. Bandit slaps Jamie hard across the chest with a backhand chop. She whips Jamie off the ropes. He ducks a clothesline and catches Bandit with a forearm smash to the jaw. Jamie hits Bandit with a hard kick to the outer thigh which allows him to hit a DDT. Jamie pulls Bandit to her feet and whips her off the ropes. Bandit reverses sending Jamie off the ropes and drops him to the mat with a hip toss. Jamie gets to his feet and charges at Bandit but runs into a dropkick. Bandit grabs Jamie in an armbar. She uses it to drag Jamie to the corner where she tags in Psycho. She runs off the ropes and drives an elbow into Jamie's shoulder. Jamie staggers back and falls to the corner as Bandit exits the ring. Psycho stomps at Jamie's midsection and keeps stomping until Jamie drops to the ground. Psycho tags in Bandit. She stomps Jamie in the gut again and again and again before tagging in Psycho. She stomps down on Jamie again.
Aiello: I've heard of mudhole stomping but I think I heard the sound of canvas at the last one. She may have gotten right through.
Bennett: They need to take the advantage and turn it to a win though.
Psycho grabs Jamie and pulls him toward her ramming her shoulder into his. With his other hand, Jamie grabs Psycho and applies a sleeper hold. He leads her back toward his corner where Reid tags in. Reid enters the ring where Jamie pushes her toward him. Reid spins Psycho into a Tombstone that he drops into a Codebreaker. Reid lifts Psycho off the mat and tags in Jamie. Reid lifts Psycho and throws her to the corner with a buckle bomb. Jamie drops a staggering Psycho with a cutter for a You're Not Going To Remember Tomorrow. Jamie covers.
ONE...
TWO...
THR... NO! KICK OUT!
Bandit dives into the ring breaking the count. Bandit drags Jamie to his feet and whips him hard into the corner. She drops to the mat as Psycho springs off her back and Jamie with an Air Psycho. She drags Jamie out of the corner and makes a cover.
ONE...
TWO...
THR... NO! KICK OUT!
This time it's Reid that dives into the ring to break the count.
Aiello: So near but so far!
Bennett: That's the problem with tag matches, two opponents to watch instead of one.
Reid drags Jamie to their corner and tags himself in. He gets into the ring and runs at Psycho for a punt kick. Psycho sees him coming and pushes him off the ropes. She drops Reid to the ground with a clothesline. Reid gets to his feet where Psycho whips him off the ropes again. Reid reverses it as Jamie rolls into the ring sending Psycho off the ropes. Reid launches her into the air and Jamie drives her to the mat with a One Night Stand. Reid covers her.
ONE...
TWO...
Bandit runs into the ring but Jamie dives at her with a cross body.
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winners, via pinfall THE BASTARDS!
Maria Love rolls into the ring and raises the arms of Jamie and Reid as Tommy Love stands over Psycho watchng silently.
Aiello: A big win for The Bastards here on Brawl!
Bennett: S.T. shouldn't feel bad here. They pushed Reid and Love here tonight and who knows, this may have been a much different story had the S.T been able to hit Total Elimination.
Aiello: Well folks, up next we have a big triple threat as Kolby Kreel, JoJo Rush, and Captain Morgan Darkwater square off...but first, we have some words from one of the challengers to the FX Broadcast Championship!
Camera cuts to ...
The scene opens backstage where we see one of the two challengers for the FX Broadcast Championship Chelsea Skye pacing around the backstage area with her arms crossed and her head lowered to the ground.
Chelsea: Alex hasn't lost a match since she made her debut, Rebel Rhodes is the current champ and has been on a roll since she beat Caleb Scott at Hardcore Revolution, if I smoked I'd probably be going through packs of cigarettes by the bucket-load due to my stress.
Chelsea admits as she stops pacing and turns to face the camera.
Chelsea: But it takes pressure to make a diamond and that's the kind of pressure I put myself through to be the best wrestler I can be! I know the fact that I'm the only one in this match to have suffered a loss makes me stick out like a sore thumb against Rebel Rhodes and Alex Carbajal but overcoming adversity like that? Compared to what I put up with growing up, this is nothing!
Chelsea adds as she flips some of her long hair over her shoulder.
Chelsea: Rebel, Melinda, doesn't matter what I call you, the respect I have for you as a person and a boss isn't going away anytime soon but if I want to win this match and my first title in EWC then I have to set that aside and focus on my end goal! Alex, if anyone's betting on this Triple Threat then there's a good chance that they have you as the odds on favorite to take the title from Melinda but whilst I have only been wrestling for three years I've learned one important lesson.
Chelsea adds as she gets up close to the camera.
Chelsea: NOTHING is set in stone in this business and that includes who the most likely person to win the match is! So if there are any gamblers out there watching this Triple Threat match waiting to see if their bets pay off, don't bet on the champion Rebel Rhodes to retain her title, don't bet on Alex "Bullet" Cabajal to take the title from her either, bet on "The Nightmare Angel" Chelsea Skye to win her first Monday Night Brawl Match and her first title in EWC as I show them and the world why the Skyes the Limit!
Chelsea walks off as the scene fades to a commercial break.
The camera cuts backstage inside the Sportpaleis as Brawl’s Bob Murray looks into the camera.
Murray: Ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome at this time, making their LAST appearance here in Belgium, along with the 2021 EWC Manager of the Year Bunny Love, they are the EWC Tag Team Championships of the World…Bobby Rose, Jamie Love…THE SOUTHERN EXPRESS!!!
The fans of Antwerp, Belgium jump to their cheer and cheer as the camera pulls back to show the trio of Bobby Rose, Jimmy Lane and Bunny Love.
Rose: That’s right Bobby Murry, The Southern Express Farewell Tour is making a quick stop here on Brawl tonight with some pretty exciting news…
Lane: News that we couldn’t just ‘call in’...no we needed to be here on Brawl to do it in person…
Love: Stop, you two just wanted to cross off Belgium on your list of European countries where you ‘did it’...
Bobby and Jimmy smile and high five…
Rose: Belgium…
Lane: CHECK!!!
Rose: And thank you Martine and Bea for a GREAT night last night…
Lane: And the fine folks over at the Hilton Antwerp…
Love: OK WE GET IT…you two got laid last night by two skeezy sluts last night, let’s move on and get to WHY we are really here…
Bobby and Jimmy’s smiles slowly disappear as their manager kills their job…their shoulders slump and they look like lost little boys…
Love: Seriously…are you two going to pout because you can’t take a victory lap…FINE, AWESOME JOB BANGING THOSE TWO BROADS, I even heard Jimmy gave her a Belgium Bow Tie…
Bunny holds up her hand and the smile and job springs back into the faces of Bobby and Jimmy as Jimmy nods and high fives her…
Lane: It was beautiful Bunny…here I have pictures…
Jimmy pulls out his phone but Bunny pushes his hand away…
Rose: And as thrilled as we are to cross Belgium off our list we have another list that needs addressing…
Lane: Africa…I have some thoughts on how to tackle Chad…
Rose: No…I’m talking about the EWC Tag Teams and one team that we have yet to cross off our list…
Lane: Oh, you’re talking about The Eleos Affect…
Rose: You’re damn right…
Bobby and Jimmy high five…
Rose: We kicked off the 2022 Season by going to Brawl and we suffered the L that night SO…
Lane: On July 11th Paramount INVADES Monday Night Brawl in Green Bay, Wisconsin and The Southern Express will lead the charge…
Rose: We could sit back and wait for Brawl’s GM to roll out two randoms against us…
Lane: Hit Goodnight Green Bay and do the Lambeau Leap and call it a night…
Rose: But we are taking a different route and calling out who we want…
Lane: And who we want are Antoni Malietoa…KU…The Eleos Affect…
Rose: You are the only team that makes sense for us to face at Brawl v. Paramount…
Lane: So we are throwing out the challenge…The Southern Express v. The Eleos Affect ONE LAST TIME!!!
The Brawl fans here in attendance cheer this statement and break out into a…
ONE LAST TIME!!!
ONE LAST TIME!!!
ONE LAST TIME!!!
ONE LAST TIME!!!
ONE LAST TIME!!!
Rose: And since you have no interest in these…
Bobby and Jimmy raise their EWC Tag Team Championships into the air and then turn and hand them to Bunny, who rest them on each of her shoulders…
Lane: We thought we’d spice up the match in a different way…
Rose: A classic stipulation brought back from the 80’s just for this match…
Lane: The Southern Express v. The Eleos Affect in a Hair v. Hair Match…
Rose: We are willing to put our locks on the line one last time and see if you can be the team that finally shaves our heads…
Lane: How about it boys…
Bobby and Jimmy smile into the camera before walking out of frame as we cut back to ringside.
BY REQUEST OF JIM CONNORS!
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Kolby Kreel
VS JoJo Rush
VS Captain Morgan Darkwater
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Kolby Kreel
VS JoJo Rush
VS Captain Morgan Darkwater
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by for our next match!
Aiello: Well folks, our next match sees two men in Kolby Kreel and JoJo Rush who recently debuted on GAMBIT officially joining the fold here on the red brand, along with the returning Captain Morgan Darkwater! We understand that Jim Connors specifically requested this match, which seems a little confusing on the surface.
Bennett: In Jim's defense, he clearly hasn't forgotten what Darkwater tried to do a while back, but the GM's silence is really telling on the matter. Either way, this oughta be one hell of a triple threat match, with each man lookin' to prove himself!
Stroup: The following match is a triple threat match, scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, from The Dungeon in Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 241 pounds ... KOLBY KREEL!
A twenty sided dice rolls across the X-Tron as “It’s Thursday Night” suddenly starts playing over the sound system. A man with a hooded cloak and a woman step out onto the stage. The woman is holding a book in her hand as he appears to have one hand open with the other closed. The moment “How Do you Want to do this” is said in the song, the man opens his hand as a twenty sided die appears in his hand. He holds it up as the woman starts chanting in a some language. The man lets out a chuckle before walking down the ramp as fire pops up along the ramp. He reaches the ring, rolls inside while staying in a kneeling position. He lowers his hood before tilting his head back up. A sly smirk appears on his face as he slithers to one of the corners and waits.
Stroup: Introducing next, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 245 pounds ... JOJO RUSH!
JoJo steps onto the stage and quickly gets down to his knees to place his fists together and bow his head. At the start of the second verse, JoJo throws his hands out wide and looks up high before strutting down to the ring.
Stroup: And finally, hailin' From the Grand Line, weighing in at 397 pounds ... CAPTAIN MORGAN DARKWATER!
The lights in the arena cut out as first notes of Captain Morgan's entrance theme, "The Sunk'n Norwegian", kick in and the screens around the arena fade in to the image of a perpetually burning skull-n-crossbones flag rippling in the wind.
A spotlight rises as Morgan saunters confidently out on the stage, holding aloft his obsidian cutlass "Black Betsy", his other hand behind his back. As the music swells to the chorus he plunges the sword down into the stage, causing an explosion of pyros!
When the smoke clears he is holding a wooden tankard aloft, bellowing "One More Fight!" and takes a heavy gulp of the dark grog, liquid and froth splashing out down his thick black beard. Tossing it over his shoulder, he laughs again and starts marching purposefully down the ramp. He enters the ring over top ropes, climbs the nearest turnbuckle and unsheathes his cutlass, holding it aloft with a raucous battle-cry.
DING DING DING
The bell rings, and Darkwater makes the first move as he goes after Kreel with some hard lefts and rights...but is quickly cut off by Rush, who sends the big man to the ropes. Rush looks for a dropkick on the rebound, but Darkwater grabs him in midair before dropping him to the canvas with a big body slam! The captain quickly gets back to his feet, but is caught by a swinging neckbreaker from Kreel that brings both men down hard!
This gives JoJo a chance to get back to a standing position, focusing his attention on Kreel as he brings the Dungeon Master to his feet...but Kreel is quick to fight back, leaving the two to trade lefts and rights! Kreel starts to get the upperhand as he sends Rush to the corner...but doesn't get to follow up, as Morgan is back on his feet, slamming a hard forearm to the back of Kreel before following up with a neckbreaker of his own as revenge!
Aiello: Looks like the Captain is more than ready in his return to the EWC!
Bennett: The man has a killer instinct in him, and Kreel and Rush may feel the full force of that when all is said and done!
Morgan quickly goes for a cover, but is just as soon cut off with a boot to the head by Rush. This quickly alerts the Captain, who rises to his feet before turning his attention on Rush with some hard-hitting rights and lefts! Rush is sent back to the corner courtesy of an Irish whip by Morgan, who charges at full speed to hit a corner splash that drops Rush to the canvas! Morgan brings Rush back to his feet, looking for the chokeslam! JoJo is struggling, but Morgan manages to lift him up! HANGMAN'S N--NO! Rush just manages to slip out at the last second, narrowly avoiding disaster!
What's this!? Kreel rolls up the Captain from behind! It's the most dangerous move in all of professional wrestling, and the Dungeon Master might have this one!
ONE!
T--NO!
Not even close! Rush immediately breaks THIS count up as well!
Aiello: A close call there, but Rush saves this match!
Bennett: Every man for himself in this one, Joe!
Rush is now on the attack, going after Kreel with a flurry of offense that culminates in an exploder suplex that sends the Dungeon Master down hard to the canvas. Rush follows it up with some stomps and a leg drop for good measure, before looking over at Morgan who comes charging at him...only for Rush to catch him with a dropkick, sending the Captain into the nearest corner with a thud! This is an opening Kreel looks to exploit with some right hands to the distracted Rush, but the Cowboy looks to keep Kreel in line as he unloads some hard chops against the chest of Kreel that eventually brings the Dungeon Master down!
Kreel is out of it as Rush looks to set him up on the second rope...before hitting the hangman's DDT! DEADMAN'S HAND! This could be it for Kreel, as Rush gets back to his feet...only for Morgan to catch him with a clothesline over the top rope to the outside! Darkwater is still in the ring as Kreel slowly gets to his feet...only to get caught with a chokeslam by the Captain! HANGMAN'S NOOSE! Kreel is down on his back as Morgan climbs the nearest turnbuckle...and noticing that Rush is struggling to come to on the outside, connects with a big elbow drop to the Dungeon Master! WINDS OF FORTUNE! Eager to capitalize, the Captain goes for the cover quickly!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Rush slides into the ring just a second too late to stop it as the ref calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... CAPTAIN MORGAN DARKWATER!
A frustrated Rush confronts the Captain immediately after the bell rings, and the two stare each other down for a moment before cooler heads prevail, as Rush shakes hands with Morgan before he and the ref raise the Captain's arm in victory!
Aiello: What a match, folks! Rush really proved himself out there, as did Kreel...but this was the Captain's night!
Bennett: And you gotta love that bit of sportsmanship between Morgan and Rush, too. Rush very nearly stopped this match from ending the way it did, but there's a level of respect there that's a sight to behold!
Aiello: Great, great match here folks...and up next, we have the first of our championship bouts of the night as Rebel Rhodes defends her FX Broadcast Championship in triple threat action against Chelsea Skye and the Bullet, Alex Carbajal!
Before we do, however, we cut to the X-Tron as a video begins to play ...
It’s a cool dusk in the cemetery and a light breeze pushes Caleb's black hair forward against his face. Caleb can be seen wandering around looking at gravestones. He moves slowly to each one, looking at it as if it has a deep meaning to him. The camera is facing Caleb revealing an orange sky in the background as the sun sets.
Scott: For a while now I’ve been talking about violence. How I’m going to be more violent, how the matches I’ve had don’t quite scratch that itch. I got my first taste of it during the Hellevator match at Stranglemania, not only giving but also receiving that kind of viciousness did something to me. Deep down I could feel I was beginning to enjoy it but at Hardcore Revolution it was pushed even further.
Caleb turns away from the camera and continues to walk through the cemetery, running the tips of his fingers along the top of the gravestones as he passes.
Scott: Rebel smashing me so hard she broke my nose, her putting those staples in my head, being pushed to the very limit and surviving it. It brought something out of me. It’s a high like I’ve never felt before, a high that I can’t help but continue to chase.
Caleb stops and turns to look into the camera.
Scott: Also, don’t think I’ve forgotten about you Rebel. The brutality we’ve gotten into, I can only hope there’s more of it coming down the road.
Caleb deeply inhales the cool air flowing through the cemetery, puts his head back and stares into the sky as it grows darker before releasing the air in his lungs.
Scott: Anyway, I think I have figured out what my next move needs to be. What I need to do to truly feel fulfilled here in EWC.
As Caleb moves by one of the gravestones, the name Yaya Banana is shown, showing us that Caleb has returned to the same cemetery he was in before his Gambit debut. He stops walking and turns back towards the camera. He’s looking relieved like he finally found the answer to his problems.
Scott: The only logical move for me is to officially declare myself part of the X-Division. At BRAWL #586, when we host Paramount as part of the Invasion Series, I will be making my X-Division debut and I weep for the poor soul they send out to face me. I have nothing without my word, and I told you the violence would increase. This is me keeping my word. The next time you see me in an EWC ring, I promise you I will be staining it with my opponent’s blood.
Caleb takes a final gaze into the camera, the previously orange sky now darker than the pupils of Caleb’s eyes. Turning his back on the camera, Caleb starts to walk away. The camera continues to film him as he walks before it fades to black.
We move to a commercial break.
Coming back from commercial, we cut backstage to find Melinda Rhodes seated on a bench in the locker room, dressed in her gear with the FX Championship draped across her lap. Her head is tilted back and eyes closed. Her hands rest upon the belt, laced together as she seems to be doing some meditative breathing to calm herself.
Rebel: Some thoughts before my match... Ok.
She rolls her head forward, eyes open and looking directly into the lens.
Rebel: Truth? I've never done well in Triple Threats, Fatal Fours, or Rumbles. I've always been a one on one, focused attention kinda' gal. I prefer it. I can do tags, but I gotta' be working with someone who realizes that I get hyper-focused during those matches. It's a bit of a weakness I've struggled with my entire wrestling career and I'm up against two people who thrive in multi-competitor, target rich environments. It's all about thinking on your feet, always moving, always in motion, trying to think a few steps ahead while getting hit in the face. It ain't easy. I've seen alotta' great competitors over the years struggle just like I do, but you have a few that thrive in that kinda' chaos.
There's a small little chuckle.
Rebel: Both competitors in that ring facing me tonight know me all too well. They used to work for me in my own promotion and one thing I always did for those on my roster was look out for 'em, help 'em as needed, and let them find their own path in the world. I encouraged 'em to be what they are and now I find it funny that I'm facing two of my most promising prospects for this gold. One thinks she's unworthy and the other is a biker badass I've known for years. Sure I don't care for their outfit that much, got some bad blood with more than a few of their core members, but I don't hate a flock for a few black sheep in it.
She leans her head back, but never breaking eye contact with the camera.
Rebel: Nah, that ain't my way. Let me say something to my opponents more directly. Chelsea Skye, if you weren't read hon, you wouldn't be in this match. The powers that be decided it was your time, so make the most of it and seriously? Bitch you better recognize your talent because if I ever hear you say you ain't worthy again, I'll slap the taste right outta' your mouth. You feel me?
Mel nods her head.
Rebel: Bullet, you're one of the baddest bitches I've ever met. You represent your club well and I've always had nothing but respect hon. The expectation is on you to be the one to take this off me, but fun thing about wrestling is expect the unexpected. You got the tenure, the experience, and capacity for violence to dethrone me, but at the end of the night? Hell, it's anyone's game and I'm very game tonight. As I said before, it's an honor to share this ring with ya'll. Looking forward to tearing it up and if I somehow emerge with this in my hands? Don't take it to heart... You're both amazing. I won't be sweating it if you end up taking this from me because of that fact.
Picking up the belt, The Rebel Star places it upon her shoulder.
Rebel: People don't see what I see in the both of you. Tonight? We make 'em see just how good you really are.
With a nod, Mel lifts her hand from her lap to give the devil horns, a wicked grin on her face as we cut to ringside.

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Alex "Bullet" Carbajal
VS Chelsea Skye
VS Rebel Rhodes
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: What a statement from the FX Broadcast Champion tonight, as she prepares for possibly her biggest challenge to date!
Bennett: She's managed some very impressive defenses of the belt up till now, but she faces both a Bullet and a Nightmare Angel looking to get a huge win for the title tonight!
Stroup: The following match is a Triple threat match and IT IS FOR THE FX BROADCAST TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
The fast guitar riff for “Reborn Through Failure” hits the speakers and once the vocals kick in Chelsea makes her way out onto the entrance ramp ready for battle.
Stroup: Introducing first, from Chicago. Illinois, weighing in at 123 pounds ... she is the Nightmare Angel... CHELSEA SKYE!!!
Following her ring introduction Chelsea makes her way down to the ring slapping hands with the occasional fan along the way, she enters the ring and runs the ropes as she waits for her opponent.
Stroup: And our next challenger, from New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing in at 135 pounds ... ALEX...BULLET...CARBAJAAAAAAALLLL!!!!
The lights dim and the Shieldmaidens motto “Hell is empty and the Maidens are here!” comes over the Tron as guitar stabs ring out. Concrete Blonde’s “God Is A Bullet” starts up in earnest and Alex “Bullet” Carbajal makes her way out in a full length boxing robe, ready for war. She makes her way to the ring and Bullet steps in, starting to shadowbox the second she steps in. She raises her hands into the air and then nods, ready to go.)
Stroup: AND FINALLY...
The lights drop to a dim blue only to brighten to a bright red as "The Steeple" by Halestorm plays over the P/A speakers. With a pyro explosion, the Rebel bounds from the curtains and onto that stage with a wicked grin. She sports her ring gear, a red leather vest with her winged star logo, aviator shades, and fingerless gloves. On her shoulder rests the FX Television Broadcast Championship. Mel strides down the aisle, taking her time and rocking with the fans in attendance. She's high-fiving fans, giving hugs to kids, and one lucky fan's child ends up with a parting gift, her chrome aviator shades getting placed right on the kid's face.
Stroup: HAILING FROM ROME, GA, SHE STANDS AT 5' 11" AND WEIGHS IN AT 145 LBS.... SHE IS YOUR FX CHAMPION...THE REBEL STAR... MMMMMMEEEELLLLLLIIINNNDDDAAAA RRRRRHHHHOOOODDDDDEEESSS!!!
After making the rounds at ringside, pumping up the front row fans, Rhodes slides under the ropes, pops up and runs up to the far turnbuckle, hoisting her championship in the air while headbanging to her music. She then turns and runs to the opposite side, arms out at her sides as she shouts "COME ON!!!!" to the fans, working them up just a little bit more. She hops down and places her belt down in the corner. Turning, Mel removes her vest, crouches low in her corner, looking at her opponents with a big smile. She nods and then motions them on, rising to her feet.
The three move forward in as the ref motions for the bell…
DING DING DING
…The Bell rings and thinking fast, Mel jacks Bullet in the jaw with a wicked right cross then spins around and hits Chelsea with a surprise discus Lariat that catches her off guard! She immediately darts into the ropes, rebounds with a running High Flying Clothesline, but Bullet ducks! Mel lands on her feet and turns right into a standing dropkick from Carbajal that sends her flailing back into the ropes! Chelsea kips to her feet and catches Bullet with a Spear! Chels gets up and catches Mel’s foot in mid side kick, but the Rebel wags her finger and spins out with a Dragonwhip Enziguri that spins The Nightmare Angel off her feet to a flat back landing on the canvas!!! Mel tucks and rolls to her feet right into a high flying running knee to the face combined with an elbow to the back of the head that drops the Rebel right where she stands!!! Chelsea’s on her feet in the corner and not completely recovered by the time Bullet rushes in with a flying forearm right to her face! She follows up with SWEATING BULLETS, shooting fists into her ribs over and over until finally dropping her to a seat with THE CABACERA Headbutt! Chelsea falls right into a seat on the canvas. She pulls Chels by her foot out of the corner and makes the cover!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTHH-KICKOUT!!!!
Aiello: Oh my, what a close call there for Chelsea Skye!
Bennett: Bullet came damn close to taking this one, that's for sure!
Chels rolls the shoulder and Bullet pulls her up and right into a European Uppercut, rocking her back. A sudden whistle gets her attention. Bullet turns with a running start and right into THE RHODES KILL! She’s rocked off her feet with a brutal, violent impact! Rebel hops up with a loud “WAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!” She then pulls Chelsea up by her arm and right into THE SHOT THROUGH THE HEART! Immediately she flips her over and makes the cover!!
ONE!!!
TWWWOOO!!!
TTTTHHHHRRE-BROKEN UP!!!
Bullet breaks up the pinfall, and pulls Mel up by the back of her head, drilling an elbow into the very top of it, then spins her around and pulls her in for THE DIOS ES UNA BALA Ripcord Elbow. Mel is off her feet in violent fashion and Bullet hooks both legs!!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTTHHHHRRRRRE-BROKEN UP!!!
Some how, Chelsea shoves Bullet off of the Rebel and irritated and angry, Bullet engages The Nightmare Angel in an exchange of wicked lefts and rights, the two going at it to the escalating excitement of the crowd. Suddenly Chels catches Bullet by the wrist, twisting the arm and then stepping over it to with a fast spin, bringing her to the canvas with the THE RAGE OF THE HEAVENS Cross Arm-Breaker! Bullet thrashes and kicks her legs, trying to fight out of it in no one's land, the ropes far from her and dead center on the canvas! Just as it seems like she’s about to tap, Mel shoots off the ropes with a triple rope Moonsault, clearing most of the ring! Chelsea sees her coming, releasing the hold and back rolling away to let Bullet take the brunt of the splash!
Aiello: Holy--what a move there, and Bullet looks out of it!
Bennett: Three great athletes showing their all here, and Rebel may just have it in her to retain the belt!
Rebel hops to her with a kip and immediately finds herself facing off with Chelsea Skye who comes at her swinging fists and legs. The Rebel Bobs and Weaves around her strikes, deftly avoiding each hit until catching Chelsea’s arms, but the Nightmare Angel uses Mel’s arms to backflip, clipping the Champion’s jaw! Rebel staggers back and trips over a rising Bullet who uses that to pull her down into a rollup pin!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!-BROKEN UP!!!
Chelsea breaks the pin with a split legdrop across Alex’s back! Rebel rolls away as Alex gets to her feet with an assist by The Nightmare Angel, pulling her right into a steep DDT. Rhodes is on her feet and goes for a swing, but Skye thinks fast, hitting “FOR JUSTIN!” The slingblade brings The Champ right down to the mat hard! Chelsea then runs over to and vaults to the nearest turnbuckle, squatting low. She signals for her infamous SKYE’S THE LIMIT, leaping off with a beautiful, picture perfect Phoenix Splash, crashing across Rhodes and hooking the leg for a pin!!!
ONE!!!
TWWWOOO!!!
TTTTHRE-BROKEN UP!!
Alex surprises all by catching Skye by the waist and pulling her up, elbowing her in the back of the head, then spinning her out to pull her back in for THE DIOS ES UNA BALA Ripcord Elbow! Chelsea is rocked off her feet and Alex falls across her for the pinfall!!!
ONE!!!!
TWWWOO!!!
TTTHHHHHRRRRREEE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... AND NEW FX BROADCAST CHAMPION... ALEX...BULLET...CCCCAAARRRRBBBAAAJJJAAAALLLL!!!!
Bullet takes her newly won championship in hand, her music playing loud and proud. She starts to raise the belt, but doubles over, clutching at her side with a wince of pain and grit teeth. Fighting back the pain, she slowly rises back up, only to be surprised as someone grabs her arm. It’s the now former champion staring back with pride at Skye. Melinda Rhodes raises her arm and points at her, nodding her head. Alex nods, then hoists the belt belt up over her head, stepping forward from the Rebel to stare right at the crowd, rocking her head to the beat.
Aiello: This was one heck of a match, ladies and gentlemen! A close call between all three competitors, and you know that folks will call this one an upset as Alex Carbajal picks up the win and the FX Broadcast Championship!
Bennett: Hell of an effort from all three ladies though, for sure! Rebel did everything she could to get one more title defense in the books, but it was not to be as Bullet is our new champ!
Aiello: What a way to really get along in the night, folks! Up next is non-title, X-Division action as Stitches takes on the EWC X-Division Champion El Pablo, who I'm told has a few words for us backstage!
Camera cuts to ...
Backstage, we find Brawl correspondent Bob Murray standing alongside X-Division Champion El Pablo, the latter dressed in the same Marcu$ $t. John t-shirt we saw him sporting a few days ago at the Friendship Building.
Murray: El Pablo, welcome back to Monday Night Brawl! Another big fight for you here tonight, as you prepare to renew hostilities with your long-time rival Stitches on his return to the company after a brief hiatus. Now, obviously, we've heard some suitably strong words from the pair of you leading into tonight; your thoughts on what Stitches has had to say?
El Pablo: Okay, first of all, that stuff with Sabra and the hamburger was a long time ago! I mean, it wasn't even in this company! It was all just a big misunderstanding - and I didn't even know she was-
?: Ahem…
The Tecnico's flow gets interrupted by the masked face of Cristal poking into shot from over his shoulder.
Cristal: …Aposematism, Pablo.
An awkward silence ensues, as EP presumably attempts to calculate the best escape route out of this hole. Murray, meanwhile, just arches an eyebrow.
El Pablo: …Ah.
Murray: What did you th-
El Pablo: Not important. Uhmm, my thoughts on Stitches? Well, firstly, I think it's a shame that whatever ward he found himself holed up in didn't given him access to Pay-Per-View television - but, in the spirit of our long-standing 'camaraderie', I'll be more than happy to catch him up now.
EP smirks, though it's clear he's a little annoyed as he unwraps the X-Division Championship belt from around his waist and places it over his shoulder.
El Pablo: Now, I can appreciate - just from my own twenty-four-hour stint in lockdown prior to StrangleMania XIII - that a person's concept of time during periods of isolation gets a bit…squiffy…but, even so, to have to listen to the clown ramble on about 'two-hundred days…two-hundred days…almost two-hundred days…'
He chuckles.
El Pablo: We are currently on day two-hundred-and-seventy-four - which, I'll grant you, on a scale of one to, say, five thousand is technically 'almost two hundred' - but, even so, he wants to talk about me being 'placed on a pedestal…like I'll actually eclipse the reign of Harlow Kinsley?' In two weeks' time, I will have eclipsed the reign of Harlow Kinsley! I will have the longest reign in X-Division Championship history, with three - not two - successful defences to my name; three more, by the way, than Stitches and the four reigns before him combined! So, while he may not like the fact that it's me, of all people, who's taken this title from 'afterthought' to 'highly-sought', let's just stop for a minute and think about who the real desperate party in this confrontation is right now!
The Tecnico takes a deep breath, his chest evidently now a little lighter, though the intensity of his expression remains.
El Pablo: If I'm being honest though, Bob, I'm having kind of a hard time focusing on this match here tonight given that my best friend's currently laid up at home, having been forced to miss out on one of the biggest matches of his career!
Pablo turns to face the camera.
El Pablo: Ace, get well soon buddy; the Rainbowlution's thinking of you! As for you, Jack Severn…I dunno what rock you crawled out from under, or where you got this idea that you've ever been anything besides 'the other one' in the Flap'n'Jack Conundrum…but know this: you may have put the Gambler on the shelf but, in doing so, you've gone and put yourself in the crosshairs of the man at the top of the most violent and dangerous division in all of professional wrestling! You'd better keep your Skittles on a swivel, cabrón, because the next time you and I find ourselves sitting at the same table? You might not like the Taste that's fixing to come your way.
Viva La Rainbowlution.
With a final glare down the camera lens, EP turns and marches out of shot, leaving Bob Murray alone as we go to commercial.
The camera cuts backstage to Brawl’s Bob Murray
Murray: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome at this time…Xavier Reid…
The fans boo as the camera pulls back to show Bob standing outside The Love Club locker room with the former International Champion Xavier Reid
Murray: We are on the eve of Brawl v. Paramount…
But Xavier cuts Bob off
Reid: Yeah…and I have to wonder if our leader Jimbo Connors even wants me to be on that show…I mean I’ve had to sit back and watch as he’s named three people who’ve walked out on Brawl to be apart of Team Brawl at Parabellum…hell I had to watch as he damn near named Candy to the team…that was until she jumped ship and tonight two of those team members are going to go one on one for my former championship so he can’t tell me I’m not on that team because I’d upset the team balance and harmony because there isn’t any right…Team Brawl is and will continue to be Team Dysfunction…so maybe it’s just he doesn’t want me on the team…which begs the question…then would he want me to be apart of Team Brawl when Paramount comes a calling on the next Brawl…
Xavier shrugs…
Murray: Ok, say he does want you on the team Xavier…you’ve made no secret that you are gunning for that EWC Tag Team Championship match at Parabellum…
Reid: Yeah I have…so what…
Murray: Maybe he wants fresh meat in that match…someone who won’t come into the match tired from already having a match…
Xavier smiles and laughs at Bob
Reid: Do you remember what I did at the Rumble in 2020…I was double book that night, defending BOTH the International Championship against Bosa and then went on to defend the Undisputed Championship against Scorpio…and do I need to remind you I won BOTH of those matches…
The smiles disappears from Xavier’s face as he looks at Bob
Reid: Bosa and Scorpio and you can bet your ass they will both be apart of Team Prime at Parabellum…when you look up and down the Brawl roster I am the ONLY member of Brawl that has had the success against these other brands and marquee matches on ppv…do I need to remind you that I won the Power Struggle match at Night of Champions…that I am the last member of Brawl to bring the Undisputed Championship to the red brand…Flip sure as hell hasn’t…Gabi hasn’t…Rebel hasn’t sniffed a championship ship match…
Xavier shakes his head
Reid: What’s Jimbo going to do…name Capt dipshit to the team…I mean it would be fitting right…reward the man that kidnapped him and then walked away to a high profile match…maybe he should name Alex Carbajal…she just came back after walking out on us…or hell name Stitches over me because hell I guess WrestleFest didn’t happen…
Xavier looks into the camera
Reid: See the fact is I’m the only viable choice…nobody has the resume I do…not even the three he’s already names but I’m growing tired of waiting Bob…I’m growing tired of the disrespect that I’m being shown for the brand I’ve bleed for…I am the only member that hasn’t walked out on this brand in the past few years because I’ve been the one here while others have taken breaks or jumped ship…I have been royal to Brawl…they can’t say the same thing but yet here I stand…on the outside looking in…so maybe this is personal…
Xavier smirks
Reid: And if that’s the case well…maybe Jimbo should just say it instead of dicking me around…I’ll be in Green Bay at the next Brawl…put me up against anyone from Paramount and I’ll hand him their head on a platter…I’m done fucking around…put me on that team Jimmy…unless you want to see Team Brawl go up in flames yet again…
Xavier storms off camera as Bob watches him walk off as we cut to ringside.
AN OLD RIVALRY, A NEW OUTLOOK ON LIFE?
SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE, X-DIVISION RULES
Stitches
VS El Pablo
SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE, X-DIVISION RULES
Stitches
VS El Pablo
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by for what could be a violent match ahead of us!
Aiello: And here we go, folks! Stitches returned to BRAWL recently with a new look, but the question remains whether there's truly a new attitude there as he takes on the EWC X-Division Champion, El Pablo, in non-title action under X-Division rules!
Bennett: I think we're gonna find that Stitches is more focused going into this, which could make him an even bigger threat!
Stroup: The following match is an X-Division Rules match and it is scheduled for one fall INTRODUCING FIRST!!!
One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide. Stitches enters the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.…
Stroup: Hailing from THE CARNIVAL OF SHATTERED DREAMS… Weighing 260 lbs… SSSSTTTTIIITTTCCCCHHHEESSS!!
Stitches leans back against the turnbuckles, staring straight ahead…
Stroup: AND HIS OPPONENT....
"VIVA LA RAINBOWLUTION!!!”
Searchlights scan across the stage and over the raucous crowd as ‘Party Hard’ by Andrew WK begins to blare from the speakers. The driving guitar sets a tone of frenetic energy and excitement before giving way to a simple, repeating piano chord.
As the main riff kicks in, The X-Division Champion, El Pablo bursts out through the curtain, tossing a palmful of Skittles into the air. His masked head hides beneath the hood of his self-promoting sleeveless sweatshirt, though a beaming grin is still plainly visible as the Technicolour Tecnico bounces down the ramp towards the ring, bantering and fist-bumping members of the crowd as he goes.
Stroup: Forged in the Talavera Tiles of Puebla City, Mexico… Hardened in the desert sands of Farmington, New Mexico and weighing in at 180lbs...He is the Technicolour Tecnico, the Leader of the Rainbowlution, and the EWC X-Division Champion… ELLLLL PABLOOOOOOOOOO!!!
With his last couple of steps, EP's bouncing turns into a run, as he slides under the bottom rope into the ring. He pops to his feet, then hops over to one of the far corners of the ring, ascending the turnbuckles and tossing another helping of Skittles out into the crowd. After some more gesticulating, EP charges across the ring and repeats on the opposite side, before finally handing his hoodie and championship belt over to a member of the ring crew and taking up position ready for the match to begin.
DING DING DING
The two long time rivals circle each other, Stitches with an unnerving grin on his face. Pablo shoots him back a friendly smile, wriggling his fingers before the two lock up in proper fashion. Stitches takes over quickly with a wristlock, Pablo flipping around to go for a Shortarm elbow, but Stitches ducks it and lifts him off his feet! Pablo twists as he’s popped up into the air, flipping around, wrapping his legs around Stitches waist and pulling him forward into a victory roll up pin. The Clown Prince of EWC easily powers out, both rolling apart and to their feet. Pablo wags his finger and Stitches just shrugs nonchalantly as the two circle once more. The two go for another lock up but this time Stitches fakes him out with a jab of his thumb in the eye. Distracted with pain, Pablo finds himself gut kicked and kneed in the jaw to stand him right back up for THE LETHAL LARIAT!! Pablo is spun off his feet and right on his belly with a plop. Stitches falls across him for a Pinfall!
ONE!!
TWO!!!
TTHHRRE-KICKOUT!!!
Stitches sits up with a bit of a frustrated frown. He rises, pulling Pablo up only to get an elbow to the side of his head, followed by THE FACE PAINTER! Skittles explode everywhere as Stitches is left stunned! The Technicolor Technico then hits the ropes and returns with the FURRY NINJA STRIKES! Stitches hits the canvas and rolls onto his back! Pablo vaults up onto the nearby corner and leaps off with a split-legged Moonsault pin!
ONE!!
TWO!!!
TTTTHHHHRRRRE-POWER OUT!!!
Stitches HURLS Pablo off of him, sitting up forcefully with a frustrated, angry snarl.
Aiello: Oh may, you see the way he just tossed the champion there?
Bennett: Stitches letting Pablo know just where he stands on things with that power, Joe!
He gets to his feet, Pablo rising right along with him! Lariat ducked by Pablo with a kick to the back of Stitches, sending him stumbling forward. Pablo hits the ropes, comes flying back and TASTE THE RAIN-NO!!!! POWERBOMB REVERSAL ON THE CANVAS!!! Stitches holds him down for the pin!
ONE!!!
TW-KICKOUT!!!
Pablo manages to slip out of Stitches grasp, getting to his feet albeit a bit shakey from the bomb. Pablo comes back with a spinning calf kick, but Stitches drops to his knees to avoid it, Pablo spins around and Uppercut to the jaw sends him stumbling into the ropes. Pablo snaps off and BEAUTIFUL DISASTERPIECE DUCKED!!! Pablo tucks and rolls under the leg. Stitches spins around, off balance into a sitout Jawbreaker! Stitches falls flat on his back and El Pablo hits the ropes, springboarding with the R.P.M. Corkscrew Senton! He hits and hooks the legs, counting with the crowd with fingers in the air!!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTHHHRRRRRRE-KICKOUT!
Both men get up trading shots with each other. The exchange ends with a stunning shot from Stitches who then shoots Pablo to the ropes but runs right behind him. Pablo hits the ropes at the same time as Stitches, both going up and over to the outside with an impressive LETHAL LARIAT!!! Both hit the floor, Stitches on his feet and Pablo flipping into his back from the force of the shot. Stitches picks him up and flings him onto the announce table, then joins him, picking him up. There’s a little brawl between the two on the table top, ending with Stitches doubling Pablo over. He locks him into a front facelock, lifts and drops him with THE CRIMSON ARROW THROUGH THE TABLE!!! There’s a huge pop from the crowd over the broken table.
Stitches rises from the wreckage, pulling Pablo with him. Picking his smaller foe up, he hurls him back into the ring through the ropes! Stitches then gathers up a folding steel chair and slides in behind him…
Aiello: Oh, this doesn't look good at all Steve.
Bennett: Bad news up ahead for the champ!
Pablo is stunned, fighting to his feet after the mammoth DDT through the table. Stitches smacks the end of the chair on the canvas, sizing Pablo up. Pablo turns and throws both feet up, dropkicking the chair into Stitches face and sending him staggering into the ropes, almost falling through them! Pablo picks up the chair and sets it up with the back towards Stitches, who is hung up in the ropes and dazed. Pablo hits the opposing ropes and comes back, running up the chair with a big flying leap, only for Stitches to snap off the BEAUTIFUL DISASTERPIECE! His foot impacts Pablo's gut in mid air, driving him flying back and folding the chair backwards on itself from the impact! Stitches takes a moment to work the crowd, drawing his thumb across his throat. Behind him, Pablo curls up, reaching into his pocket to pull out a handful of skittles, which he quickly chews and gulps… He then immediately kips up, charging his opponent and unleashing a sudden flurry of offense! Elbows, fists, kicks, all battering Stitches down! A hard roundhouse sends Stitches down to the mat and it’s at that point that Pablo seems to get dizzy and collapse beside him!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TTTHHHRRREEE!!!
FFFFFOOOOOOUUURRRR!!!
Pablo stirs first….
FFFFIIIIIVVVVEEE!!!
…But Stitches rolls over…
SSSSIIIXXX!!!
Both roll onto their knees, struggling to rise…
SSSEEEVVVVEEENNN!!!
Pablo gets to the ropes and pulls himself up.
EEEEIIIIGGGGHHHTT!!!
Stitches does the same at the opposite side of the ring, ending the count at 8 as the two look across the ring at each other! The two shove off the ropes at full steam ahead, one last hit of adrenaline pushing them forward. Pablo fakes out to the left only to suddenly leap onto Stitches shoulders and hit TASTE THE RAINBOW, slamming Stitches face to the canvas and rolling him over for the pin!!!
ONE!!!!
TWO!!!!
TTTHHHHRRRRRREE!!!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... EL PAAAABLLLOOO!!!!!
With his music playing, Pablo jumps to his feet with a wild hood and claps his hand against his chest in triumph!!!
Aiello: An absolutely brutal affair tonight folks, but El Pablo just manages to pick up the win when it's all said and done!
Bennett: Stitches really took the champ to task tonight, and it took a Taste the Rainbow out of nowhere for the champ to--
Steve is interrupted by "Change (In the house of flies)" playing through the arena, as Dio makes his way out to stare the champion down from the stage...and eventually, he makes a motion around his waist, indicating he's ready to go after the championship in Pablo's possession
Aiello: Oh boy, what a statement from Dio here! Hang on a second...yes...right, I've just received word that what we're witnessing is a sign that Jim Connors has made official the X-Division Championship bout set for our Invasion Series show, meaning Dio represents the red brand against PARAMOUNT'S fighting X-Division Champion El Pablo! Folks, don't go away... in just a moment, we have our main event of the evening as King Flip defends the EWC International Championship against Gabrielle Visconty!
Before we do, it seems there's an update on a particular situation backstage ...
The camera cuts backstage once again to Bob Murray who is standing outside The Love Club locker room.
Murray: Ladies and gentlemen, earlier tonight we heard from Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane, The Southern Express as they through out the challenge to Antoni Malietoa and KU of The Eleos Affect for a Hair v. Hair match at Brawl #586: Brawl v. Paramount and I have been informed by Brawl officials that Antoni and KU have accepted this challenge and will put their hair on the line at the next Brawl against The Southern Express…
The crowd inside the Sportpaleis breaks out into applause over this announcement.
Murray: So Green Bay, Wisconsin get ready because two teams will be stepping into Lambeau Field with a full head of hair…well ok, most-to-some of their hair but only ONE team will be leaving with hair on their heads…
Bob Murray shakes his head as the camera fades out, before we go to our final commercial of the night...
Back from commercial, we find ourselves backstage in the office of BRAWL General Manager Jim Connors, who looks pleasantly surprised as he hears the door open.
Connors: Oh good, I was hoping to speak to you before the night was out. I want to discuss your options real quick, and how it pertains to the Invasion show in Green Bay.
We manage to catch a glimpse of who he's talking to...the now-former FX Broadcast Champion, Melinda Rhodes, who simply responds with a slight smirk and a nod before we cut back to ringside for our main event.
VIOLENCE IN THE ABSENCE OF ORDER!
NO ROPES, NO DQ MATCH
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Gabrielle Visconty
VS King Flip
NO ROPES, NO DQ MATCH
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Gabrielle Visconty
VS King Flip
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by for our main event!
Aiello: Curious development from the office of Jim Connors, as we get ready for our main event of the evening! King Flip won the title from Xavier Reid at Hardcore Revolution, and assured Gabi that she would get her rightful rematch in due time...well folks, this is that time!
Bennett: That inferno match was a war in itself, and we're gearing up for another one in this No Ropes, No DQ match!
Stroup: The following match is a No Disqualification, No Ropes match scheduled for one fall and is for the International championship! Joining us first, from Honolulu, Hawaii, weighing in at 120 pounds ... The Gremlin GABRIELLE VISCONTY!
The lights in the arena dim as a single spot light shines down on the entrance. Linkin Park's "By Myself" begins to play as the X-Tron lights up to display G A B I V E E ! ! ! before the lyrics to “By Myself” begin to scroll across it.
What do I do to ignore them behind me?
Do I follow my instincts blindly?
Do I hide my pride from these bad dreams
And give in to sad thoughts that are maddening?
Do I sit here and try to stand it?
Or do I try to catch them red-handed?
Do I trust some and get fooled by phoniness?
Or do I trust nobody and live in loneliness?
Do I follow my instincts blindly?
Do I hide my pride from these bad dreams
And give in to sad thoughts that are maddening?
Do I sit here and try to stand it?
Or do I try to catch them red-handed?
Do I trust some and get fooled by phoniness?
Or do I trust nobody and live in loneliness?
Gabrielle Visconty runs out of the back and stops at the top of the ramp. Her blue eyes scan over the area as the fans welcome Gabi Vee with cheers. A huge grin spreads across her face as she walks down the ramp and towards the ring. The lyrics continue to follow along on the X-Tron.
Because I can't hold on when I'm stretched so thin
I make the right moves, but I'm lost within
I put on my daily façade, but then
I just end up getting hurt again
I make the right moves, but I'm lost within
I put on my daily façade, but then
I just end up getting hurt again
Gabi slaps hands and interacts with the crowd before she hops up nimbly onto the edge of the ring to grins out at the crowd once more. Gabi turns and springboard herself gracefully into the ring, then ventures over to her corner.
Stroup: And her opponent, accompanied to the ring by Chanel, hailing from the land of money and fame, weighing in at 220 pounds ... he is the International champion... the Benchmark of BRAWL... KIIING FLIP!
K I N G F L I P zooms from right to left across the X-Tron and is followed swiftly by a large pyro. 'Machinegun' begins to play as the man in the hooded vest, head low, emerges from the curtain with his manager just behind him. He gets to the edge of the rampway when he lifts his hood to reveal that arrogant half smile. The King unbuckles his hooded vest to reveal the International championship around his waist. The lyrics chime in as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. He removes his vest, placing it in his corner, then remove the title and places it flat on the canvas. He slides into the ring and lifts himself with the title in the air as his theme plays. The two opponents get toe to toe and exchange what appear to be heated words as his theme fades.
Suddenly, "I Want Candy" by Aaron Carter begins to play on the public announce system. This grabs both competitor's attention immediately, especially since Gabi shoves past the International champion to look up at the stage while Candy's theme and tron play. Gabi starts accusing Chanel of being up to something, but the coy valet simply points to her client behind Miss Visconty as the theme and X-Tron fade. The challenger turns right into a Codebreaker!
Aiello: The International champion just nailed his challenger with one of Candy's signature moves, the Bitter Truth! AND HERE WE GO!!
DING DING DING
Flip immediately goes for the pinfall.

NOT EVEN CLOSE!
Visconty kicks out with authority and rolls out of the ring. Chanel approaches her but Gabrielle is quicker to the draw. She shoves Chanel into a spin and grabs the valet's arms from behind. Idjitbuster! Beautifully executed signature straight jacket suplex on the manager to take her out of the picture for the time being. Gabi V quickly gets back to her feet and glares at the entryway for a split second before turning her attention back to the champion. He comes flying at her with a spinning kick, but she ducks out of the way. He barely lands on his feet and stumbles into the guardrail. The challenger opts to flee instead of take the action to the King. She drops to her hands and knees and quickly starts scuttling underneath the ring apron. Flip goes after her but he's too slow to grab her feet or ankles. He slams one hand on the canvas as he gets to one knee, then starts helping his manager back to her feet.
Visconty emerges from the opposite side of the ring and the fans go wild as they realize she's come back with a staple gun. Chanel tries to point this out as the challenger makes her way into the ring and crosses it to their side but it's too late. Standing corkscrew moonsault takes out both the champion and his manager. A huge pop from the audience as GV gets back to her feet raising the staple gun. She pulls a YuGiOh card from her tights and staples it between Flip's shoulder blades. This jolts him back to his feet. He rolls back into the ring and Gabi follows him in. He grabs the championship that he'd dropped in the center of the ring and waits for his moment. Gabi tries to lift him up by the hair, springing him into action. He shoves her hands away and leaps up. Flip blasts Visconty in the face with the title belt. Instead of capitalizing, however, he demands the referee remove the YuGiOh card from his back.
Aiello: Flip trying to get the card that was stapled on him removed quickly!
Bennett: I don't think I'll ever understand those card games, Joe. It's no blackjack, that's for sure!
It takes a moment but referee Paul Turner is able to remove the card. Flip takes the card and scoffs before tossing it away.
King Flip: WEATHER REPORT? HOW BOUT... RAIGEKI!
Flip nails Visconty with a beautiful standing dropkick that sends her out of the ring and onto the thinly padded concrete hard. The champion flourishes the kick with a backflip and lands on one knee. Gabi doesn't stay down, though, as she rolls first to her hands and knees. She crawls up the ramp for a second before bursting into a walk and then a full on jog onto the stage. The King isn't too far behind. He ushers the referee to follow them as he begins to chase down Visconty with his championship belt in hand. Visconty disappears through the curtain but reveals she doesn't go any further when Flip comes through. She blasts him with another staple, this one to the forehead, and sort of snapmares him down the steps into the guerilla position. Cameras catch up and show Visconty backing Flip into a wall. He's got his hands up as if to non-verbally plead for no more staples. Then he points behind her.
King Flip: Don't you get involved, Candy! This is between me and her!
Visconty knew better, but she impulsively had to look anyway. Even the camera looks. There's no Candy, but Flip gets a second to get to his feet and yells as he spears the challenger into a soda machine. He follows with a belly-to-belly suplex through a dining table. Not before Gabi could staple Flip in the shoulder blade a couple more times, though, so really neither of them look too great right now. The champion rips these staples out instead of going for a pinfall. He even picks up a sandwich off one of the plates that fell off the table and takes a bite out of it before tossing it at Visconty and retreating back to his championship belt lying on the floor.
Aiello: What else is Flip up to, here?
Bennett: As much damage as necessary to retain the title, Joe!
The King looks straight at the camera, tapping his belt and then his chest as he heaves with breath on one knee. Somehow, Visconty has not only gotten back to her feet but has lifted herself up onto the top of the soda machine. Flip turns around. ANGELRANA! She hits a magnificent dragonrana pin on the concrete, dragging Flip's shoulders across the ground and having a good lock on both legs as Paul Turner gets into position.

TH-NO!
Chanel comes screeching into view as she blasts the challenger off of her client with a mean shoulder block, breaking the pinfall attempt. The two quickly start trading blows but it isn't long at all until Visconty gets the upper hand. She yanks Chanel and slams her head against the brick wall taking away any momentum the young valet may have had. A few well-executed European uppercuts later and Chanel looks like she's completely tapped out. Gabi dropkicks her into a trash can and turns back around to finish the champion. Flip is still laid out flat on the concrete. Gabi drops to one knee and is about to start beating into him when he surprises her with a small package. It's another pinfall attempt!

Gabi kicks out with a look of shock on her face. She can hardly believe it. The fans agree but they love every second of it.
"LETS GO, GABI!" "C-H-K!"
"LETS GO, GABI!" "C-H-K!"
"LETS GO, GABI!" "C-H-K!"
Flip rakes the eyes of his opponent as he gets up behind her. He can barely walk at this point but grabs his championship and heads back to the stage. He lifts it in the air to a huge pop before hobbling down the rampway. Gabi V isn't terribly far behind, though, as she shoves the curtain out of the way in anger and walks onto the stage. Flip sees he is being pursued and starts to taunt the challenger as he limps up the steel steps and nearly collapses onto the canvas. Gabi walks around the ring as if to taunt Flip back a little, but the champion just waits on one knee gesturing for her to enter the ring with him. She finally hops in and the King tries to nail her with the title belt one more time. Gabi rolls under and leaps up. BULLDOG THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE!
Aiello: AYE DIOS MIO!
Bennett: Good lord, these two could be broken in half!
"HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!"
Both competitors lie flat for what seems like a minute before Gabi finally rolls Flip onto his back and collapses onto him.

THRE-NO!!!
Flip barely kicks out before the three count. Gabi can't believe it. She holds up three fingers but referee Paul Turner assures her it was only a two count. The challenger just sits there for a moment trying to collect herself when Flip springs up and snatches her into a crucifix pin!

THRE-SO CLOSE!
Gabi kicks out once again. Flip can't even get up to protest, he's so exhausted. He crawls over to the announce table and starts using it to get to a vertical base. Gabi is doing much the same at the ring apron. They rush at each other and blast one another with vicious clotheslines. They both have a hand on the other's chest and the referee just starts a pin count.

Both competitors instinctively throw a shoulder up and roll away from one another. Once again, they both start to get up. Gabi is a pinch faster to her feet but Flip shoves her back first into the ring apron. He gets up and grabs her by the hair, slamming her face into the canvas. He walks her over to the announce table and is about to slam her face again but she gets her hands up. She elbows him in the midsection three consecutive times before breaking his grasp. Gabi grabs him by the hair and slams his face into the announce table not once, not twice, but three times. Gabi lays down some boots into his chest to keep him seated right on the corner of the announce table. She leaves him there collapsed as she makes her way around the ring.
Aiello: Gabi's up to something, Steve!
Bennett: No wonder, Joe, she's a damn gremlin for a reason!
Gabi gets herself up onto the guardrail on the opposite side of the ring. She stalks walking it, almost losing her balance a few times but catching herself each time. She starts picking up speed as she gets back to the ring announcer's side of the ring. She soars through the air in a massive leap as she reaches the turn in the guardrail. SOUL CRUSHER! But Flip leans out of the way! Gabi hits her super finisher dropkick on the announce table corner and slams into the thinly padded concrete hard. Flip is barely able to pull himself up, but he does so and gets on top of the announce table. ROYAL BLOOD! He nails Gabi with his leg drop finisher off the announce table! Cover!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall...AND STILL EWC International Champion... KIIING FLIIIIIP!
The ref helps Flip to his feet, presenting him with the championship before raising his arm in victory as Gabi is struggling to come to. Flip slowly makes his way toward the back to check on Chanel as we hear the wicked laughter of Sour Candy fill the arena, much to the chagrin of the now recovering Gabi Vee before we cut back to commentary.
Aiello: What an absolute WAR this was, Steve! Flip and Gabi both gave it their all in spite of the wild, wild stipulation set, but in the end King Flip managed to retain the EWC International Championship!
Bennett: One hell of a war for sure, Joe...but I gotta wonder what we saw before the match, with Rebel Rhodes?
Aiello: Well, we know that she has had her eyes set on the title Flip has just retained tonight...and after losing the FX Broadcast Championship, perhaps her full attention is on it! We'll find out soon enough as BRAWL hosts PARAMOUNT on July 11th from Green Bay for the Invasion Series! Until then, I've been Joe Aiello alongside Steve Bennett, saying so long and...
Joe is interrupted by the sound of "Da Da Da" playing through the Sportspaleis, giving a mixed reaction from the crowd as Jim Connors makes his way to the stage.
Connors: What a show tonight, huh folks? Congratulations to our EWC International Champion, King Flip...but let's give it up for Gabriellve Visconty, who really gave it her all tonight!
This gets a chorus of cheers as Gabi makes it to her feet, glaring at the GM as he continues to speak.
Connors: I've been hearing a lot of buzz about what people expect from the red brand when we host PARAMOUNT next month in Green Bay, and I wanted to clear a couple things up. First of all, Gabi...since you and Sour Candy want to put your issues to bed, I'm granting you that opportunity. The two of you will be facing off in an Ambulance Match, and I for one look forward to you showing that traitor what she's missing by leaving BRAWL!
This gets a bit of cheering, but an undertone of concern given the tone of Jim's voice as Gabi finally gets to make her way to the back.
Connors: The other bit of news I want to confirm, I was really hoping Flip would stick around for...but I don't blame him needing to check on Chanel. I get it, but I hope you're catching this from the back...because you're gonna be a busy champion in Green Bay, my friend. There's an old rule in the business, and by proxy the EWC, where championships must be defended at least once every thirty days...something I warned Xavier Reid would be coming when he was still champion, and something I'm now warning YOU is coming, Flip. So, when we head to Green Bay in a couple weeks, you won't have time to worry about Brand Warfare, or even the Invasion Series...because you'll be defending the EWC International Championship in a Two Out Of Three Falls Match against the woman who earned her right to challenge with several successful defenses of the FX Broadcast Championship, Melinda Rhodes!
This gets a really big pop from the crowd, realizing we now have TWO big title matches scheduled for the Invasion Series when BRAWL hosts PARAMOUNT...and with that final image of the excited crowd, the show comes to a close.
