EWC RUMBLE
MAIN EVENT
SCORE CARD
MAIN EVENT
SCORE CARD
Note: The EWC RUMBLE Main Event Scorecard is different from our regular scorecard simply because this match is very different. Handlers are writing against 29 other opponents and under a 2500 max word limit. We don't expect or want to try and force the handlers to do research on every opponent or to mention every opponent equally as the word limit doesn't allow for it. We also want to encourage focusing more on selling the match and less about developing the character. The pts reflect this, for this particular match. Further, because this is a special match type, and given that us staff are scoring a max of 75,000 words in just one match, we have constructed a scorecard that has fewer note areas and nothing is worth fewer than a single pt.
This scorecard was carefully and meticulously constructed with the handlers/writers in mind, including feedback provided from those who participated in Rumbles of years past. It has also been constructed in a way to have fewer potential tied up scores. We hope that you find this scorecard to be vastly improved from years past and fair for all to be able to write the way you want to write, in your own style, tone and ability. We aren't looking for robots to write for a scorecard, instead, the scorecard is a guide to assist in hitting specific notes/points and a guide for us to "judge" a roleplay without bias.
Keep in mind, these scorecards are always subjective in many parts, but we try our best to be consistent with our process so as to give a fair outcome and also help each handler become a stronger writer.
