Aiello: Hello everyone and welcome to Monday Night BRAWL! I'm Joe Aiello alongside EWC Hall of Famer Steve Bennett, coming to you LIVE from beautiful Bocaue in the Philippines for what some would call a big boi of a show ahead of us!
Bennett: Did you just pronounce boy with an I? Time to lay off the TikTok, Joe.
Aiello: I'm just talking about how many matches we have on hand, Steve! We have TWO title matches tonight, with the FX Broadcast Championship up for grabs as Alex Carbajal defends against Gabrielle Visconty, who earned the right to challenge a few weeks ago...and in our main event, Stitches gets the title shot HE'S earned as number one contender when he takes on King Flip for the EWC International Championship in a First Blood match!
Bennett: Those matches are gonna be a hell of a time, Joe...especially that main event, that could be brutal as hell as Stitches tries to uncrown the king and leave Bocaue with the title!
Aiello: With this being our one stop between the EWC Rumble and Youngblood IV, we also have a whopping FOUR interbrand matches, a couple featuring tag teams gearing up for their WarGames at PRIME 102. In our opening contest, PRIME's Heat Packers take on the red brand's S.T., and later tonight we'll see Bloody Sureiyāzu of the Headhuntress Aiya teaming with the Indy Champion Narumi Tsutsumi taking on RAMPAGE's Darna Dare in her homeland, teaming with our very own JoJo Rush!
Bennett: You gotta wonder if things will come to a head when the Heat Packers and two of Shinjoshi are in the same building tonight...but they have some big fish to try in their respective bouts!
Aiello: Rounding out our Interbrand Insanity is singles action, as Kenneth Williams takes on one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions in Jamie Love and PARAMOUNT's Salvation takes on Dean Judas!
Bennett: With Youngblood IV approaching, there are opportunities aplenty here to see who proves themselves ready to take that next step!
Aiello: And to wrap things up here on the rundown, we have three big matches centered around some curious situations. One is a heated rivalry coming to a head as Zack Tyler takes on Caleb Scott in an X-Division match, Captain Morgan Darkwater looking to face a mystery opponent in a match ordered by Jim Connors himself, and a singles bout that sees Melinda Rhodes and Chelsea Skye face off for the first time since the night Rhodes lost the FX Broadcast Championship!
Bennett: We know how personal things have been between Zack and Caleb, and we're about to see them come to blows in a brutal affair that will see one man also get a chance to step up the rankings of the division in the process. No idea what Jimbo has in mind for the Captain, but I gotta feeling Rhodes and Skye are gonna go hard with a chance to make a statement tonight!
Aiello: Thank you folks for joining us for a big night ahead, and in just a moment we'll kick things off with the Heat Packers taking on S.T.!

INTERBRAND INSANITY - PACK IT UP, PACK IT IN, WHICH TEAM WILL WIN?
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Heat Packers
VS S.T.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Heat Packers
VS S.T.
We return to ringside where Joe and Steve are standing by on commentary!
Aiello: Welcome back folks, we are ready to kick things off tonight with a big tag team match as The Heat Packers join us from PRIME to take on S.T.!
Bennett: You know Dawson and Funk have their minds on WarGames this coming Sunday, but will they be able to focus on the task ahead of them tonight?
Stroup: The following is a tag team match, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...
The familiar old school synth of 'Chase' by Giorgio Moroder hits and The Heat Packers come strutting out, closely accompanied by Dimitri Graves, holding up their index fingers and talking trash to the crowd.
Stroup: Being accompanied to the ring by the Dastardly Dimitri Graves, from Memphis, Tennessee, representing Graves Enterprises.... "Dynamite" Dan Funk! "Beautiful" Brodie Dawson! THE HEAT PACKERS!!!
The Heat Packers get to the ring and pose in the corner, Dan on the ropes and Brodie on the top rope, holding up their index fingers and talking more trash, asking the crowd "who's the best tag team on the planet?!"
Stroup: And their opponents, representing the Shieldmaidens, at a combined weight of 225 pounds, the team of Jackie "Bandit" Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire ... S.T.!
"Pledge Your Allegiance" by Suicidal Tendencies starts up. 12 seconds in, the "S! T!" chants start. Aoife "Banshee" Maguire takes this as her cue to walk through the curtain. A second later, the team known as S.T., Jackie "Bandit Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire, walk through the curtain as well. The three women make their way to the ring where Banshee steps through the ropes first, the others following her in. She takes the center of the ring and points to the two corners facing the camera. Bandit takes the left corner, Psycho takes the right and all three raise a fist in the air.
DING DING DING
We start things off with Funk and Psycho, the latter getting blindsided with a quick attack by Funk at the opening bell! Funk sends Psycho to the corner, laying in some hard stomps to the midsection to wear her down as the crowd boos. Funk pays no mind to this as he sends Psycho to the corner where Dawson is waiting, making a tag before the Heat Packers double-team with some hard kicks and punches before the ref finally gets control of the situation, telling Funk to get out of the ring.
Funk complies with the ref's instructions as Dawson stays on the attack, locking in a headlock to practically drag Psycho down to the canvas...but Psycho manages to slip out after a moment! She gets a chance to start turning things around with a flurry of offense, landing some strong kicks on Dawson that send him reeling toward the ropes...and right into a dropkick on the rebound!
Aiello: Beautiful dropkick from the Psycho, dropping Dawson down hard!
Bennett: Pretty impressive, but can she follow up or will Brodie get back in this?
Psycho back on her feet and quickly turns her attention to Funk, dropping him off the apron with a forearm smash that sends him crashing to the floor outside. This gives Dawson a chance to get to his feet as well, and as Psycho turns back to face him she's sent reeling to the corner with a right hand by Brodie, who goes back to the well with some hard stomps to the gut before pulling her away from the corner...only to drop her down to the canvas with a vertical suplex!
The crowd boos, none too pleased about Dawson's offense as he brings Maguire back to her feet once more, looking for a belly to back suplex...but Psycho slips out just in time to stop it! Psycho with a hard kick to the skull, sending Dawson back before reaching out and leaping to a tag for Bandit! Seeing her opportunity, Layton hits the ropes to build up speed before hitting a running bulldog on Dawson...before turning him around on the canvas, going for the cover in the process!
ONE!
TW--NO! Brodie kicks out!
Aiello: Bandit nearly getting the pin there, but Brodie's still got a lot of fight in him!
Bennett: Things could turn around real quick here, Joe!
Dawson is slow to his feet at first, but is definitely standing as Layton hits the ropes again...but is caught with a powerslam by Brodie on the rebound, slamming her hard on the canvas instead! Funk is back on the apron by this point and the pair make the tag, stomping away at the fallen Bandit until the count of four makes Dawson head back to the apron. Funk meanwhile goes back to work on the Bandit with some right hands, before dropping her with a snapmare...and giving a swift kick to the spine!
The crowd boo this, but Funk just gets a chuckle out as he continues the attack with a chinlock to really wear Layton down...but somehow, someway, Layton manages to slip out of the hold before fading! The crowd is showing some appreciation for the BRAWL star as she gets to her feet, still dealing with the damage done as Funk charges at her...only to be met with a spinning heel kick from seemingly out of nowhere!
Funk goes down hard as Bandit focuses her attention on the nearest turnbuckle. Dawson drops to the floor outside, looking for a weapon to possibly put a quick end to this match. He finds a steel chair, pulling it out from under the ring when suddenly "Gurenge" plays over the PA, distracting Dawson who turns his attention to the entrance...but Bandit is NOT distracted, as she climbs the turnbuckle before launching herself for a Red Arrow she calls the Snowbird Splash! Bandit goes for the cover, and Dawson is intercepted from stopping it by Psycho as the ref makes the count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... S.T.!
Bandit can't believe it, almost beside her self in excitement as she gets to her feet. Psycho slides in to join in the celebration as the ref raises their arms in victory while Funk rolls out of the ring, where he joins a now-standing Dawson on the ramp as we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a win for S.T. here tonight! The Heat Packers really took the fight to Psycho and Bandit, but their issues with Aiya and Narumi seemed to come back to haunt them here.
Bennett: You gotta wonder if these two are gonna respond later tonight when that pair go up against Darna Dare and JoJo Rush!
Aiello: A fair point, but for now we get ready for our next match in just a moment, as Melinda Rhodes makes her return to BRAWL to take on Chelsea Skye! Don't go away, folks!
S.T. continue to celebrate in the ring, with Dawson and Funk appearing to be arguing with each other as we move to a commercial break.

SINGLES MATCH
Melinda Rhodes
VS Chelsea Skye
SINGLES MATCH
Melinda Rhodes
VS Chelsea Skye
We return to ringside where the crowd is already rowdy, demanding the next match with stomps and claps!
Aiello: We've been hyping this next match as a story of vengeance, a way for Rhodes to get back on track at the expense of the young woman who cost her - but the competitors have told a different story. This is a tale of respect, earned and yet to be earned, as master and pupil face off in what looks to be a very pure wrestling contest!
Bennett: Well, shit! Let's hope that doesn't dull the fire. I'm here to watch people hurt each other, not play pattycake.
Stroup: The following match is for one fall!
The lights drop to a dim blue only to brighten to a bright red as "The Steeple" by Halestorm plays over the P/A speakers. With a pyro explosion, the Rebel bounds from the curtains and onto that stage with a wicked grin. She sports her ring gear, a red leather vest with her winged star logo, aviator shades, and fingerless gloves. She strides down to ringside, slides under the ropes, pops up and throws a three fingered salute to the fans!
Stroup: Hailing from Rome, Georgia, she stands at five feet, eleven inches, and weighs in at one hundred and forty five pounds... "THE REBEL STAR" MMMMMMEEEELLLLLLIIINNNDDDAAAA RRRRRHHHHOOOODDDDDEEESSS!!!
The fast guitar riff for “Reborn Through Failure” hits the speakers and once the vocals kick in Chelsea makes her way out onto the entrance ramp ready for battle.
Stroup: And her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois ... "THE NIGHTMARE ANGEL" CHELSEA SKYE!
Following her ring introduction Chelsea makes her way down to the ring slapping hands with the occasional fan along the way, she enters the ring and runs the ropes as she waits for her opponent.
DING DING DING
People are burbling in anticipation, ready for both women to start out hot - many chanting Chelsea's name as she dances forward, and then immediately puts on the brakes, falling to one knee and offering her hand out to her mentor. Rhodes has a businesslike glare, but steps forward, yanks Skye to her feet and firmly grips the offered hand - before faking a sucker punch, flashing a crooked grin as a wide-eyed Chelsea dances away before it would have connected.
"LET'S GO, CHELSEA!" "REB-EL RHODES!" "LET'S GO, CHELSEA!" "REB-EL RHODES!"
The crowd is instantly split after this display, perhaps tilting a little in the younger woman's favor as they lock up, and Mel instantly weaves into a rapid-fire hiptoss, following up with a single-leg dropkick that Skye gets clipped by, but is able to whirl away into a back-handspring, hitting the ropes and flying back in with a rolling wheel kick. From the moment Rhodes' shoulders hit the canvas, the Nightmare Angle is in full flow, rolling off her own shoulder into a half-crouch, where she frantically motions the older woman to stand before launching into a flying clothesline, taking her right back down! She floats over to pin, but the shoulder goes up with defiant impunity, and the crowd erupt into a dueling chant once more.
"LET'S GO, REBEL!" "CHEL-SEA SKYE!"
Skye tries to wriggle away, but Rhodes manages to seize an arm, dragging her in for an armbar she's not quite able to lock, getting stacked up with a few flexible kicks, before Chelsea steps on over and pulls her up for an emphatic suplex! Rhodes is rattled, but rolls to her feet just in time to avoid a follow-up, weaving into her opponent's flank with a series of punishing boxing strikes - a hook to the ribs, a jab across the jaw, then a gracefully-impactful uppercut to send Skye staggering back. Rebel's smirking as she darts forward, capitalizing on the created opening--
--with a SHOT THROUGH THE HEART! Chelsea eats the cutter hard, and is bundled up into a prawn hold.

KICKOUT!
Aiello: A powerful statement from the veteran as this match heats up! The crowd don't know which woman they want to overcome the other, and neither do I, Steve. You can feel the respect, but nobody wants to lose here.
Bennett: Look, in the end it's gonna come down to which of these two can dig deep and find that killer instinct. They're lookin' pretty even right now, but the momentum's gonna shift the second that happens.
The kickout has sent Chelsea Skye right to her feet, where she stumbles into the corner, breathing hard and staring out at the crowd as they yell encouragement. Rhodes isn't letting her rest long, shaking her own cobwebs off and striding across the ring to seize the younger woman from behind, spinning her around-- only to find she's given Skye all the momentum she needs to leap up onto her shoulders and arch backwards, executing a beautiful Frankensteiner that slams Rhodes into the corner post for good measure! Chelsea sets her arms to the ropes, rolls her mentor out toward the middle of the ring, and then springs up, going for the SKYE IS FALLING!!
Her relative inexperience perhaps showing, she finds an empty pool as Rhodes rolls aside, evading the devastating technique by a couple of inches, instantly ready to seize the other woman around the waist and pick her up for a crunching backdrop suplex! She holds on, picks her up again, and momentarily loses control, Skye able to extricate herself, but - clearly still dazed - she throws a high kick that doesn't have enough punch to trouble Rebel, who blocks it and pulls her smaller foe into a monstrous exploder suplex, scattering her all the way across the ring to the outside!
Chelsea collapses on the floor, shaking her head and grabbing a double handful of her own hair as she forces herself to fight through the pain and disorientation. Mel pops to her feet and momentarily leans against the ropes, glancing back toward Skye as she narrows her eyes to slits. Motioning for the crowd to get behind her - and, again, only pulling in about half of them - she breaks into a sprint across the ring, leaping up and over the top rope to hit an Asai moonsault that--
--is smoothly countered! It's Skye who plays spoiler now, tumbling out of danger just in time to get her ankles around Mel's head and drag her down skull-first, keeping up the pressure as she slides against her mentor, and grabs an arm, pulling her into a snug triangle choke on the outside of the ring! The Clipped Winged Angel! There's no way for her to force the submission out here, but she has Rhodes panting and screaming in pain, her arm looking like it's about to dislocate as she slowly, desperately spreads her legs and carries Chelsea Skye up onto her agonized shoulder, powerbombing her against the apron before collapsing with her in a tangle of limbs! Both women are down, and the crowd is losing their minds as the count is applied!
Aiello: If one of these women can't get up, this match could end in disappointment for them both.
Bennett: You know they've both got the heart, but who's got the raw will? The iron core? Who wants this the MOST?
The answer is; both of them, the official is up to eight when both women cry out and pull themselves to their feet at once, on instinct trading strikes - a stiff one-two from Rhodes, that only draws her into the jabbing teep from Skye, both of them immediately falling to one knee, hearing, "NINE!" And, eyes wide, both scrambling under the bottom rope at the same time. Rebel is first to her feet, but she's stumbling and clutching her ribs, quickly taken down by a panicked spear from Chelsea, who tries to mount up only to get bucked off, their positions switched! Mel rains down a couple of hammer-fists, then tries for an armbar, only to have it blocked as Skye twists her hips and gets the knees up, LAUNCHING the older woman away from her. They come to their feet in a distant clinch, each struggling to stay away from the other's offense...
They shuffle their feet, and Rebel tries to seize an underhook, but Skye gets a knee up and reverses it, spinning flawlessly out into the cross arm-breaker she calls RAGE OF THE HEAVENS, slamming Rhodes to the mat beneath the weight of her legs, crying out as she arches her back into the hold. The damage is done, but they're too close to the ropes; red-faced and sweating, Mel is able to reach out and a close a hand on the bottom rope, forcing the break. It's done respectfully enough on the count of three, but Chelsea Skye is starting to look impatient, motioning Mel to turn and face her as the other woman stumbles away, massaging her swollen, aching shoulder. The ploy works; Chelsea darts forward, and walks right into a RHODES KILL!
Skye hits the deck, and Rebel slides off of her, rolling onto her knees with obvious discomfort as the targeted arm continues to bother her. A little too late, she strives to lock in the Rebel Death Lock, the weakened limb slipping as Chelsea uses her powerful legs and core to send Mel flat on her face! Writhing to her feet, Chelsea stalks the former FX Broadcast Champion, ready to hit a whirring Sling Blade! FOR JUSTIN! Rebounding, she goes for another, but a bleary-eyed Rhodes counters on sheer instinct, slamming the smaller woman with another Shot Through the Heart!
She holds on, but there's a pop as the crowd notice what she's managed to do, positioning herself with the left - uninjured arm - looped under Skye's chin as she flips up and over into the REBEL STAR SLAYER!!
The Dragon Sleeper is locked in, Rhodes looking exhausted but utterly, completely determined as she cranks the hold, spreading her feet wide and leaning forward to keep Chelsea from fighting back toward the ropes...
The official checks for the submission, the crowd continue to fire dueling chants, until--
--Skye goes limp, and the ref is forced to call for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via technical submission ... MEEEEEELIIIIIIINDA RHOOOODES!!!
Rebel released the hold as soon as she felt Skye go limp, and Chelsea is already recovering as the crowd roar in appreciation of the victory. There's a moment where the younger competitor looks somewhat crestfallen, looking up and around in a daze, but then she sees the extended hand of her mentor, and clears herself with a blink and a somber stare up at the other woman's face. They share a nod, then a smile, and Chelsea accepts the hand, pulled to her feet and into a back-slapping hug, before Rhodes throws both their arms into the air. Grinning, Skye mutters something to her mentor, stepping around her to raise the other arm herself - but gets quickly shoved away, as Rhodes instinctively protects the injured limb.
The ring mics pick up her chagrined statement, "You really did a number on me, kiddo," over the chanting of the fans.
Aiello: Did she ever. These two put on a fierce contest out there, but the adaptability of experience pulls Rebel Rhodes through to victory, and back to her winning ways here on Monday Night Brawl. Thoughts, Steve?
Bennett: Goddamn, I didn't think Skye had it in her to be so ruthless. I don't like 'em ending it on smiles and sunshine, but they really took it to each other - you can bet Rhodes is gonna have a target painted on that arm going forward...
Aiello: Agreed on that, Steve! Folks, in just a moment we begin our Interbrand Insanity as Salvation visits from PARAMOUNT to take on Dean Judas!
We move to a commercial break.

We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: Here we go folks, two of our newest members of EWC collide in something of a rematch from the ladder match at the EWC Rumble!
Bennett: That's right Joe, the man some know as Salvador Serenity takes on Dean Judas in a showcase of our young blood before, well, Youngblood!
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, from the Mystic River and weighing in at 285 pounds, he is... SALVATION!
Salvador Serenity smiles wide, waving to the crowd as he makes his way out. He gives "Spock Signs" to the crowd with one hand, raising his walking stick with the other, then starts to jog down the aisle, high-fiving fans. He makes a loop around the ring, exchanging fist bumps and high-fives before sliding under the ropes and into the ring. He bounces off the ropes and few times before heading to his corner, handing over his walking stick, then starts stretching.
Stroup: And the opponent, from Los Angeles, California and weighing in at 245 pounds ... DEAN JUDAS!
The lights along the entrance tunnel pulsate while the arena is engulfed in darkness. Each time the bass hits the lights flash on around the tunnel.
Judas is announced as the song hammers with every pulse being felt throughout the arena, a series of bright blinding white lights strobe. The chorus bangs.
Out walks Judas grinning. Strolling down the ramp as the music continues to overpower the crowd’s attempts to boo Dean into submission. Pounding his chest like a beast, Judas cracks his trademark smile flashing his pearly whites. Hopping down off of the turnbuckle Judas appears primed.
DING DING DING
Judas runs at Salvation. He grabs his head and hits Salvation with knees to the chest and face. Salvation blocks as well as he can but some get through. Salvation staggers back. Judas smacks Salvation with a European uppercut and a roundhouse kick. The kick spins him around and Judas rolls him for a school boy.

Salvation rolls a shoulder off the mat to break the count.
Aiello: So close to a win there.
Bennett: Both have been close.
Both get to their feet and Salvation chops Judas across the chest. He hits Judas with right hands and grabs his left arm. He drives an elbow into Judas' shoulder before whipping him off the ropes. Judas reverses it sending Salvation off the ropes. He runs off the ropes looking for a Money Train. Salvation manages to catch Judas and roll him for a small package. The referee counts.

Salvation holds his arms up in celebration. As he exits the ring, he watches Judas arguing with the referee and he laughs. He chuckles to himself as he heads up the ramp.
Aiello: Smart wrestling there by Salvation. He saw Dean Judas heading toward him like a crazy money train and rolled him up. Big win!
Bennett: A big win? Sure but we both know that this would have been over had Dean Judas connected with Money Train.
Aiello: Still, a big win for the PARAMOUNT star as we head toward Youngblood on Halloween night! Folks, up next we have a non-title match as Kenneth Williams takes on one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions, Jamie Love!

Aiello: Welcome back folks, up next we have Kenneth Williams taking on Jamie Love in more interbrand action!
Bennett: And before anyone says anything, we know how silly it might look to emphasize this is a non-title match when Love is one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions...but you never know who might get confused about that sorta thing.
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall.

The lights in the arena begin to dim as the countdown ends and the X-treme Tron springs into life with a shot of “The Human Highlight Reel” Kenneth Williams giving the camera a few playful winks.
The fans jump straight to their feet in cheer as “Family Ties” by Baby Keen & Kendrick Lamar begins to play through the PA speakers. The familiar horn pattern accompanying the adlibs of Baby Keem echo throughout the arena as Kenneth Williams steps out onto the ramp.
Stroup: Announcer Name: From Austin, Texas; weighing in a two hundred and twenty-five pounds... He is the Human Highlight Reel... ladies and gentlemen... KENNETH WILLIAMS!
Fire and pyro began shooting out of the stage as Kenny stands at the ramp with a playful grin as he stands at a military rest with his head cocked to the side before taking off in a full sprint to the ring, making sure to slap hands of the fans on his way. He hops onto the outside of the turnbuckle before looking out into the crowd and delivering his trademarked Highlight hand gesture with a look of disgust on his face. He hops into the ring and prepares in his corner.
Stroup: And the opponent, residing in Takayama, Japan and weighing in at 120 pounds ... JAMIE LOVE!
Notorious By Adalitas Way hits the PA system and Jamie walks out from behind the curtain with a smirk on his face and his half of the tag teams championships around his waist. Behind him is Dimitri Graves. Jamie rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring where he immediately gets to his feet and climbs to the middle turnbuckle where he unbuckles his title and holds it up in the air as he gives everyone at ringside the finger.
DING DING DING
Jamie starts by laying into Kenneth with forearm smashes. Jamie whips Kenneth into the corner but Kenneth comes bursting out of the corner and floors Jamie with a clothesline. Kenneth jumps to the middle rope as Jamie gets to his feet. Kenneth throws himself back at Jamie cracking him with a second rope Pele kick. Kenneth then climbs to the top and drops onto Jamie with a split legged moonsault. He hooks the leg.

Jamie gets a shoulder up off the mat. Kenneth pulls Jamie to his feet. Jamie shoves Kenneth back. The referee doesn't see Dimitri Graves grab at Kenneth's ankle tripping him. Jamie shouts at Dimitri before lashing out with roundhouse kicks to the back of Kenneth's thigh until he drops to his knees. Jamie grabs at Kenneth's left arm and pulls it into an armbar. Jamie straddles over Kenneth in a camel clutch position while still holding the armbar. Jamie smacks at Kenneth with back elbows until he falls limp. Jamie rolls him over and hooks the leg.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Kenneth raises an arm off the mat.
Aiello: Getting in some good early covers.
Bennett: Both men looking good in the early going but who will pull ahead?
To answer that question, Jamie grabs Kenneth's raised arm and quickly applies a Cross Armbreaker. Kenneth screams in pain. He tries to reach the ropes, but Dimitri pulls them away. He tries to wriggle free. He tries to punch his way free. He tries to roll Jamie for a pin attempt. Anything he can to break the hold. Jamie wrenches at the arm pulling and stretching it as Kenneth yells in pain. Eventually, Kenneth manages to get a toe onto the bottom rope forcing the referee to break the hold. Jamie scowls at Dimitri Graves before he drags Kenneth to his feet. Kenneth uses his head to shove Jamie a step or two back before running off the ropes. Kenneth twists his way around Jamie before taking him to the mat with a poisonrana. With Jamie down, Kenneth climbs the turnbuckles and jumps. He crashes down on Jamie with a Sinner's Prayer. He hooks the leg.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Jamie rolls to his side to break the count.
Aiello: So close there!
Bennett: That it is. Close for both. Kenneth Williams looks like he's working with one good arm from that Cross Armbreaker. This is anybody's match right now.
Kenneth lifts Jamie to his feet but Jamie grabs Kenneth's arm and drags him to the mat. From there, Jamie applies a Love Attachment. Kenneth struggles to break free of the hold. Once Jamie wraps his legs around Kenneth's waist, the struggle stops. Kenneth's arms go limp.

Stroup: And your winner, via submission JAMIE LOVE!Jamie gets to his feet and leaps to the ropes. With one leg over the top rope and the other standing on the middle, Jamie raises his arms in victory as his entourage enters the ring to join the celebration.
Aiello: With a hold like that, Jamie Love is a very dangerous man here in EWC!
Bennett: Kenneth Williams brought the fight to this one. He came close a few times to winning this thing. But that hold….
Aiello: Yeah, very scary stuff for whoever gets caught in it! Folks, up next Captain Morgan Darkwater is in action...but who is he facing? We'll find out soon enough!
We move to a commercial break.
BY ORDER OF JIM CONNORS!

MATCH TYPE TBA
Captain Morgan Darkwater
VS Mystery Opponent
We return to ringside where Joe and Steve are standing by on commentary!
Aiello: Welcome back, folks! It's been a wild night so far, and now we're about to see what Jim Connors has in store for Captain Morgan Darkwater tonight!
Bennett: There was something kinda ominous about his statement to the Captain at the Rumble, and I wonder just what the hell is gonna happen here.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, Hailin' From the Grand Line, weighing in at 397 pounds ... CAPTAIN MORGAN DARRRKWAAAATERRRRR!
The lights in the arena cut out as first notes of Captain Morgan's entrance theme, "The Sunk'n Norwegian", kick in and the screens around the arena fade in to the image of a perpetually burning skull-n-crossbones flag rippling in the wind.
A spotlight rises as Morgan saunters confidently out on the stage, holding aloft his obsidian cutlass "Black Betsy", his other hand behind his back. As the music swells to the chorus he plunges the sword down into the stage, causing an explosion of pyros!
When the smoke clears he is holding a wooden tankard aloft, bellowing "One More Fight!" and takes a heavy gulp of the dark grog, liquid and froth splashing out down his thick black beard. Tossing it over his shoulder, he laughs again and starts marching purposefully down the ramp. He enters the ring over top ropes, climbs the nearest turnbuckle and unsheathes his cutlass, holding it aloft with a raucous battle-cry.
Stroup: And his opponent...
Jessica is interrupted by the sound of "Da Da Da" over the PA system, confusing the hell out of the fans in Bocaue as BRAWL General Manager makes his way to the stage, microphone in hand.
Connors: Ahoy, Captain! As I promised, you're getting one hell of a match up tonight. I want you all to cast your minds back to the end of 2020, when I was kidnapped...stolen away from WrestleFest by a certain group that Morgan here is familiar with.
Darkwater glares at the GM from inside the ring, as the crowd start to boo realizing what's coming.
Connors: You don't forget a thing like kidnapping, Cap...but it seems I managed to cut a deal with your old crew, and they are NOT happy that you abandoned them to turn over a new leaf. You can ask them yourself, in what is most definitely a handicap match!
Realizing what's happening, Morgan turns around to find a slew of Reavers entering the ring, immediately beating up on the Captain as Connors yells at the ref to ring the bell and start this match!
DING DING DING
The ref tries to control the chaos inside the ring at the moment, but the Reavers ignore him as they continue the assault on Darkwater, pummeling away with some hard stomps until the Captain is finally able to fend them off long enough to mount some semblance of a comeback! He starts laying in some hard punches on a couple of the Reavers, eventually sending them over the top rope to the outside before turning his attention to three more standing their ground...and the three lunge at the Captain!
Except that he catches one of them with a big boot to the face, sending them to the canvas hard before turning his attention to the remaining two...one of which grabs him by the hair! The ref yells at this Reaver, but it's clear that the rules are NOT going to be obeyed today as this Reaver pulls the Captain in for a DDT--but Morgan slips out of it, sending the Reaver down with a modified spinebuster instead!
Aiello: What a move here by Darkwater, who looks to stop his former employees of sorts from getting their revenge!
Bennett: I swear, I feel like we should've seen this mess coming somehow!
Morgan doesn't get long to recover as the two Reavers on the outside quickly slide back into the ring, this time with steel chairs in their hands. Noticing this, the Captain gets to his feet...but barely has a chance to raise his arms to stop the full brunt of a double shot of chairs to his head! The pair of Reavers continue swinging away at Morgan, the others rising back to their feet to join in when suddenly...
Aiello: Here comes JoJo Rush, running down to the ring to help Darkwater out!
Bennett: This isn't gonna help his cause with the GM, but JoJo just couldn't stand to see this continue any longer!
JoJo slides into the ring, immediately one of the chair-wielding Reavers before dropping them to the canvas! The other one takes notice of this, but Morgan is back on his feet and yanks the chair out of the Reaver's hands! This and the other Reavers shirk back as Morgan looks to take a swing at them, quickly rolling out of the ring to avoid disaster as the ref calls for the bell, having seen enough!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, due to the absolute chaos of this match the referee has ruled this match... A NO CONTEST!
The crowd can't help but boo the decision, though it's certainly a fair one in light of the situation. The Reavers retreat up the ramp, regrouping with a very disappointed Connors at the stage as the Captain shakes hands with JoJo, thanking him for the assist!
Aiello: What a weird moment we had here, with Jim Connors seemingly aligning himself with the Reavers to take his anger out on Darkwater tonight!
Bennett: I think we're finally understanding what Jim's beef really is with the Captain, and while I can't blame Jimbo for it I'm certainly glad JoJo was out here to give an assist, even if he's meant to be teaming with Darna Dare later tonight!
Aiello: Very true Steve, but up next we have Zack Tyler taking on Caleb Scott in an X-Division match to hopefully settle this long-standing feud of theirs! Don't go away, folks!
Morgan and JoJo continue to stare down Connors and the Reavers, before we move to a commercial break.
FEATURING THE BEST OF OUR UP AND COMING TALENT!
SETTLING A FEUD WITH VIOLENCE!
SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
Zack Tyler

SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
Zack Tyler
VS Caleb Scott
We return to ringside where Joe and Steve are standing by on commentary!
Aiello: Welcome back, folks! Up next is a match that is sure to be brutal as Zack Tyler and Caleb Scott look to finally settle things with X-Division Rules in place!
Bennett: That's right Joe, these two are about to go through the grinder, and whoever wins can step up in the X-Division rankings!
Stroup: The following match, set for one fall is an X-Division Match. Joining us first, residing in the alley at the back of the arena and weighing in at 175 pounds ... ZACK TYLER!
The lights go dark as an image of Zack in seen backstage. By now on the entrance stage, fog machines are covering the platform. He stares into the camera with a deep soul stare before the camera fades. Just before the camera cuts off, a quick glimpse of a Red circle with a Red Left hand palm print is seen. Zack's [3:14] music then plays. At the [:17] mark, a Red flash of light illuminates the entrance stage and again at the [:20] mark. At the [:27] mark, Zack rolls out slowly on a skateboard dressed in a Black full length coat with his arms folded over his chest. As he approaches the ring, the skateboard rolls under the ring as he rolls under the bottom rope onto his stomach. The ringside camera catches an up-close image of Zack as he smiles and blood protrudes from his mouth down his chin. Slithering into the corner, he grabs the ropes and pulls himself up to his feet, removing his coat. His music by now has looped or replayed until he folds his hands together as if praying. His eyes roll in the back of his head and the lights come up to normal.
Stroup: And the opponent, from St Cloud, Minnesota and weighing in at 205 pounds ... CALEB SCOTT!
Lights go black as Ze Nigmar plays. Four hooded figures with torches come out and stand on the stage, two on each side of the entrance. Lights stay off as the song intro plays. Once the drums in the song start, a single beam of light from above the ring shoots to the stage as Caleb Scott rises from the floor through a ring of white smoke. Holding his chain-wrapped bat, Caleb stands there for a few seconds looking at the crowd. Caleb begins to slowly walk to the ring as a short row of fire ignites on either side of the entrance ramp. Caleb approaches the steel steps and places his bat on the top step. He then places his hand on top of it and closes his eyes for a few seconds before going up the steps and into the ring, the single beam of light follows him the entire time. He walks towards the corner and stands on the middle rope. He stares out into the crowd for a few seconds before taking a deep breath, extending his arms out to the side, and unleashing a loud, thunderous scream before the lights come back on.
DING DING DING
Scott opens with rights and chops to Tyler. Scott whips Tyler off the ropes but Tyler leapfrogs over Scott. Tyler spins Scott around and hits a DDT before rolling out of the ring and reaching under the ring for some goodies. He pulls out a table which he sets up at ringside. He the pulls out a kendo stick and a backpack which he slides into the ring along with himself. As he does, Scott stomps on him and grabs the kendo stick. Tyler is on his feet and Scott smacks him in the ribs and across the back with it. Tyler clutches his ribs as he pulls himself to his feet. Scott tosses the kendo stick to the side and runs through Tyler with a spear. He hooks the leg.

He hooks the leg.

Aiello: Both men are down!
Bennett: Need to get up if they want to win this. No matches are won laying on the mat in this business.
Caleb rolls out of the ring and pulls a chair from under the ring. He sips into the ring and raises the chair. Scott jumps and dropkicks the chair into Scott's face. Caleb grabs the chair and sets it up. He lifts Scott and drops him across the chair with a Michinoqu Driver. He hooks the leg.

Bennett: Not sure he did. It may have been instinct!
Scott is up on his feet and he smacks Tyler with the chair before he lifts Tyler to his feet and hoists him onto his shoulders. He twists Tyler for a Final Resting Place but Tyler manages to slip from Scott's grip and he spins for a 666. Scott ducks it and he grabs Tyler and smacks him to the mat with a Grave Plot. Scott hooks the leg as the referee counts.

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall CALEB SCOTT!
Caleb gets up and begins to celebrate his hard-fought victory over Zack. He quickly snaps out of it and begins to look around quickly before dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring.
Aiello: An impressive victory here for Caleb but he seems to have something else in mind.
Bennett: I don't think he is finished punishing Zack. These two have been going at it for a while now and Caleb wants to make sure this rivalry is put to rest.
Caleb begins digging under the ring and slides out a table. He begins to set it up outside the ring slightly angled towards the corner of the ring and once it is set up he goes back under the ring. After a few seconds, he pulls out a reel of barbed wire.
Aiello: Oh my god! Caleb has set up a table and also grabbed a reel of barbed wire. What is he going to do with it?
Bennett: I think we're about to see because he's going after Zack now.
Caleb slides back in the ring and begins to roll Zack's lifeless body out of the ring. Zack drops to the floor outside and Caleb rolls out after him. Caleb picks up Zack and lays him down on the table.
Aiello: Clearly Caleb has something wicked in mind, nothing good can come from this.
Bennett: He's going to make sure Zack doesn't come back again.
Caleb then grabs the barbed wire and holds the reel in the air. The crowd's faces look shocked, begging Caleb to not do whatever he's planning to do. Caleb then begins to wrap the barbed wire around Zack and the table, securing Zack to the table. The barbs begin to pierce Zack's skin as Caleb brings the reel underneath the table and back around Zack's body. The pain from the barbs in Zack's skin gives him a rush of adrenaline. Realizing what is happening, Zack's natural reaction is to jerk and squirm but that makes the barbs dig deeper causing excruciating pain.
Aiello: Someone needs to do something about this! Zack Tyler is being tortured!
Caleb finishes strapping Zack to the table with the barbed wire. He then gets into the ring, turns back around, and rests his hands on the ropes as he stares at Zack Tyler with an expressionless look. Caleb then looks over at the turnbuckle and begins to make his way over to it. He grabs the ropes and begins to pull himself up to the top rope.
Aiello: What does Caleb have planned here? He's already done enough damage, somebody get out here and stop him!
Bennett: Caleb really wants to end this feud for good. He wants to completely destroy Zack.
Caleb perches up on the turnbuckle with his back towards Zack. He then stands up and puts his arms straight out to the side. He stands there for a second before jumping off and performing a moonsault crashing down on Zack, and crushing him through the table.
Aiello: You've got to be kidding me! Caleb Scott has broken Zack Tyler with a moonsault while Zack was wrapped in barbed wire on that table!
Bennett: This is a sick display from Caleb. All he wants is to hurt Zack as much as possible.
Caleb slowly stands up after getting the wind knocked out of him. Short streams of blood scattered around his torso begin to run from landing on the barbed wire. Caleb stares around at the crowd and puts his hands up as the crowd fiercely boos Caleb's actions while he backs up the ramp.
Aiello: Caleb putting the exclamation point on this match and his rivalry with Zack. The fans clearly not impressed.
Bennett: They think he went a little too far with that one and I agree. Hopefully Zack gets some medical attention after that.
Aiello: Folks, as Zack Tyler is being attended to we will be gearing up for the first of our title matches tonight, as Gabrielle Visconty challenges the Bullet herself, Alex Carbajal, for the FX Broadcast Championship...and that match is up NEXT!
Caleb stands at the top of the stage taking in all the boos and loving it before he walks backstage as medical personnel make their way to Zack, checking on him as we move to a commercial break.
Standing backstage in front of a huge BRAWL backdrop is Bob Murray. He smiles as he holds a mic up to his mouth and begins his introduction.
Murray: We are backstage with one of Brawl’s own Superstars as she readies herself for a shot later tonight at the FX title Champion Alex ‘Bullet’ Carbajal.
As Murray speaks Gabrielle Visconty walks into the shot. She grins and nods her head before he holds the mic up for her.
Visconty: Hey Bob, it has been a while since we’ve talked.
Murray: It has.
Visconty: Well a lot has changed since we last conversed. I’ve slipped out of the International title picture… I have lost a few key matches.
Murray: That loss to Sour Candy seemed to be a pivotal point.
Gabi frowns a little at him.
Visconty: Thanks for that, Bob. Yeah, things haven’t been going my way as of late. Although, I have earned a shot at the FX title tonight and I am damn sure not going to let this slip through my fingers.
Murray: Alex has held off in non-title action against Mark Storm, and a very decent challenger in Caleb Sc-
Visconty: Seriously? Come on, Bob, you know as well as every fan sitting out there tonight that Alex could have sleep walked out to the ring against Mark Storm and beat him by yawning on him. Sure, he ‘tried’ but looked out of his element the whole match. Caleb put up a better fight… but not enough. No, tonight Alex is really going to be challenged. Tonight I am coming to take the title away from her and start a new phase in my career.
Murray looks at Gabi as he smiles.
Murray: A new phase?
Visconty: I’m letting fate push me where I need to go. I’m no longer coming out and calling my shots… Connors seems to get crabby when I do that, so from now on I am just going to go with the flow.
Murray: You’re giving up on the International title?
Visconty: I don’t think I said that, Bob. If I win the FX title and somewhere down the line there is a match setup for the International title, then I will happily go after it. I came out and demanded my chance at the start of the season - I got it. I won the International title from Xavier Reid in his hometown. Things got dicey after that and it all went downhill after the loss to Candy.
Murray: Sour Candy.
Visconty: Candy, Bob… You can call her whatever you like, to me she will always be Candy.
Murray opens his mouth to speak and Gabi ‘shushes’ him quickly.
Visconty: No.
Murray: Okay. So, we are going to see a new and improved Gabi Vee from here on out?
Visconty: Absolutely.
Murray: More Angel and Less Gremlin?
Visconty: Why you gotta put words in my mouth, Bob? I never said that, but yeah, expect a little more smile and a lot less brooding. I’ve been down on myself for too long, it is time for a change.
Gabi grins as she speaks.
Murray: Great! I think the fans can agree with me that a smiling Gabrielle Visconty is a good one.
Visconty: I sure hope so.
And as Gabi flashes that new smile her manager, ‘The Prodigal Son’ Buddy Love walks towards them, a bear claw in his hand, clearly coming from catering. He shoves a large piece into his mouth and wipes his hands on his pants as he sees Gabi and Bob. He chews quickly, nearly choking on a large chunk that he swallows as he makes his way towards the camera. Hw wipes his mouth with the back of his hand and straightens his bow tie as he smiles into the camera
Love: Tonight, Gabi has a golden opportunity to…
But Gabi places her hand on his shoulders.
Visconty: We already covered this Buddy, we cut the segment.
Buddy looks at her Gabi, sad and a bit embarrassed.
Visconty: It’s ok Buddy, you had a long flight in from India and you needed to eat…
Gabi looks at Bob and winks.
Visconty: He gets light headed when he’s hungry besides…
She looks back at Buddy and grins.
Visconty: I need you at your best out there and not so much back here.
Buddy smiles, seeing that Gabi isn’t upset that he missed the interview.
Love: Ok, so…when we win the FX Broadcast Championship do you think we can meet Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny of Welcome to Wrexham or maybe go see a game at the Racecourse and get one of those cool TikTok jerseys…
Gabi just smiles at him and pats him on the shoulder.
Visconty: We will see, lets focus on Alex first and then see what happens.
Buddy nods and the two walk off camera as we cut back to ringside!

We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: What a statement from Gabi Vee as she gets ready to challenge Alex Carbajal for the FX Broadcast Championship!
Bennett: The question remains though, Joe, can Gabi stop the Bullet from tearing through another challenger to the belt?
Stroup: The following match, set for one fall, is for the FX Broadcast Championship! Joining us first, the challenger, residing in Honolulu, Hawaii and weighing in at 120 pounds ... GABRIELLE VISCONTY!
The lights in the arena dim and slowly pulse to the opening chords of "By Myself" by Linkin Park. Gabi Vee walks out to the entrance ramp and grins out at the crowd as she stops at the top of the ramp. She smirks as she looks over the crowd before Buddy Love walks out to join her. They start heading down the ramp and towards the ring. Gabi interacts excitedly with the fans before she hops up on the side of the ring and smirks out to the crowd. Buddy walks around to her corner before she springboards herself gracefully into the ring, heading over to her corner.
Stroup: And the opponent, residing in New Orleans, Louisiana and weighing in at 135 pounds, she is the FX Broadcast Champion... ALEX "BULLET" CARBAJAL!
The lights dim and the Shieldmaidens motto “Hell is empty and the Maidens are here!” comes over the Tron as guitar stabs ring out. Concrete Blonde’s “God Is A Bullet” starts up in earnest and Alex “Bullet” Carbajal makes her way out in a full length boxing robe, ready for war. She makes her way to the ring and Bullet steps in, starting to shadowbox the second she steps in. She raises her hands into the air and then nods, ready to go.

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall and NEW FX Broadcast Champion... GABRIELLE VISCONTY!
Gabi Vee is handed the championship and she drops to her knees clutching it close to her She gets to her feet and waves to the crowd before holding her championship high.
Aiello: We have a new champion! A big win for Gabrielle Visconty!
Bennett: Alex Carbajal may have lost the championship, but she went down fighting. She had a few chances of her own when we thought this was all over and a championship defended.
Aiello: What a match, and what an end to a pretty impressive reign from the Bullet! Folks, in just a moment we'll see more interbrand tag action as Aiya and Narumi take on the combined might of RAMPAGE and Brawl, as they face Darna Dare and JoJo Rush!
We move to a commercial break.
We open up backstage to Narumi and Aiya’s locker room. Both have their arms crossed and the expressions on their face all but reveal they’re less than amused. Finally, Aiya turns to Narumi, clicking her tongue in disdain.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: I’m not sure who I’m more disappointed with, but I think if only because she actually is a former champion, I may lean towards Darna. But that said …
Aiya turns her head towards the camera, narrowing her eyes as she points straight at the camera.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: You’re not out of this equation, JoJo! Not by a fucking longshot! I don’t wanna hear someone who has had arguably a more mediocre season than me try to make it sound like I don’t know I have a shit ton of pride. Nor do I wanna hear you try to say I won’t be anything more than good. Not when I’ve done something you’ve never succeeded with. I’ve held gold, but you? Nah, you let every opportunity to even touch it slip from your fat fingers!
Aiya tries her best to mimic JoJo’s voice as she speaks again.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Blah, blah, blah, Aiya’s boring. She’s too prideful. Tell me something I don’t fucking know nor haven’t heard before, huh?! No shit Sherlock, really? You just realized that?! I thought everything was bigger in Texas; another thing Gabi was right about, it seemed, because your IQ definitely isn’t impressive. Maybe you should go back and re-listen to any of my promos, because you missed the part where I also acknowledge and admit anyone who has beaten me. Like the Southern Express since you were quick to point that out. That was literally what I even said to the Heat Packers - at least we were deemed worthy enough to fucking face them.
So why does Mister “I Can Tag Randomly With Anyone” have the fucking right to try to twist shit like that into their own narrative?
Easy … you don’t. But you know what? It’s not even the losses that piss me off the most. In fact, I could have let all of that slide. It’s trying to be idiotic enough to think pride was why I joined Shinijoshi.
Aiya taps her fingers rapidly against her pants, clenching her fists tightly.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: If it weren’t for the fact we’re going to face you soon enough, I wouldn’t care about punching the wall right now! If anything, pride is what I swallowed! Whether you fuck heads wanna believe it or not, I didn’t immediately join up! I originally declined Narumi’s offer! But upon doing what you two should have - stopped and thought long and hard - I saw that there are actually good reasons to have allies with you instead of the world against you.
But trust me, fuck boy, the last thing I’m doing is hiding behind any of them. There’s a reason I can go out and partake in singles fights without any of them even at ringside. Fucking dumbass.
Narumi makes a sarcastic laugh at the entire situation and shakes her head.
Narumi: It’s really something else where all these people come off questioning the motive behind Shinijoshi. It’s always something, underlings, safety nets, something to do when we’re failing, etc. Or I’m going to kick out a member or someone is “failing” me. ..Darna in my last match said I should bring the Shinijoshi as if you guys jump people for me in singles contests where my opponents don’t have back up. All forms of ridiculous nonsense.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: There is literally only one reason I’d ever even be at ringside during a singles fight, and that’s only if certain circumstances happen. But the short answer? Namely if any other stunts like that at Prime 100 occurred, and even then, I’d get your approval before doing anything. And I’d be there as an equalizer more than much else; I’d deal with anyone else trying to taint the fight, not Narumi’s actual opponent. There’s a huge difference, at least in my eyes, and that matters plenty to me.
Narumi nods in agreement with Aiya and raises the Indy Championship from her shoulder.
Narumi: This faction was formed while I was undefeated in the season, and I’ve always had this! I didn’t talk them into this to have goons or any concerns about mine or any of their singles careers. It’s called having friends, people to train with and chat about interests. We aren’t like the House, a ridiculous comparison with a team of vile individuals who got together by pure chance and decadence because Callie and Jack were put together at Parabellum, and both hated Bosa. The Heat Packers already show signs of wanting to skip town. We’ll deal with them at WarGames, a match I couldn’t have participated in without Shinijoshi. I’m serious about wanting to have decorated well rounded career, there’s things you can’t do alone like winning tag championships or just being part of famous groups which are all normal objectives in wrestling. If I simply wanted lackeys I could easily use my resources as an heiress to have as many henchman that I want or I could even pester my cousin to get out of Unchained to help me get the tag titles. But I want something neither money nor my family can get me, that’s why I formed a team with my friends, and people need to stop acting like I’m ignorant about where they come from, I’m fully aware about all their stories. And none of them “fail me”, let alone on purpose by being my former enemies or whatever Jojo was implying, I’m not the leader of Shinijoshi.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Apparently no one can read, otherwise everyone would have known that from the get-go. But seriously, it’s on our stable app. Contrary to popular assumptions and beliefs, we don’t hide anything, physically or just referring to information about us.
Narumi gives Aiya a thumbs up and places her title back on her shoulder.
Narumi: We’re equals. Whenever one of us fails, including myself, we fail the Shinijoshi as a whole. To build off what Darna herself says, despite her strange inclination to try living vicariously through Malone’s victories over me, “there's no shame in taking a loss. The shame is in believing that perceived loss defines you.” When Shinijoshi members lose we get back up and keep fighting to do better, and I trust each member of the Shinijoshi is capable of reaching the top heights of this business. I wish them all the best, and yes I’d fight them if one of them became Undisputed Champion, just like any of them would fight me for my title or the top prize in the business, but I’d still be happy for them as they are for me.
Narumi smirks as she turns to Aiya.
Narumi: As for this no helpbook the rest of the group can give me to beat a 255 pound cowboy….First off I’ve beaten a larger and more successful man in Bosa to win the G1….he was 6’8 and WAY over 255 pounds while multi time Broadcast Champion. As for Aiya? She, like me, beat Eddie Dozier and Damage Inc. She beat Killjoy when he was Undisputed Champion, each of us beat larger wrestlers than us all the time.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: So don’t worry. We don’t need a book on how to take people like JoJo down. We have ourselves and each other. And just in case you want more proof? Megumi faced and beat Tane Sua before he disappeared from here and Sonya turned heads by eliminating Tyler Bradford from that massive gauntlet on Rampage.
Narumi hops forward for a moment to add an addition for fun.
Narumi: That’s the same Tyler who eliminated you from that gauntlet, Jojo.
Aiya snickers at the reminder and revelation.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Ha! Nice find, good one! Now back to you two, by all means … think that size matters in the wrestling ring. Maybe other places, sure it does. But here in this company? Nah. Size means jack shit. Don’t believe us? That’s fine. Seeing is believing, and that’ll definitely happen in some form or fashion soon enough regardless of the outcome.
Both Aiya and Narumi perform their double deuce hand signs in front of the camera before we head back to ringside!
INTERBRAND INSANITY - A BLOODY GOOD TIME GOING UP AGAINST PRIME!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Bloody Sureiyāzu
VS Darna Dare & JoJo Rush
TAG TEAM MATCH
Bloody Sureiyāzu
VS Darna Dare & JoJo Rush
We return to ringside where by this point in the evening the crowd are absolutely beside themselves - several rowdy people have already leapt the barricade and been escorted away by security.
Aiello: For the unitiated watching at home, this is apparently how the people of the Philippines behave when a national hero comes home to roost. Next up, we've got former US Champion, and Olympic medalist, Darna Dare in a special tag team match with JoJo Rush, against the absolutely ferocious competition of Shinijoshi's arguable aces; Bloody Sureiyāzu!
Bennett: No maybe about it, Tsutsumi and Aiya are among the best in this whole goddamn company. I've got a lot of time for their opponents and their attitudes to violence, but... let's just say we are about to have a FIGHT on our hands.
Stroup: The following contest is a tag team match, and is for one fall! Introducing first, from Shinjuku and Kyoto, Japan, respectively, weighing at a combined weight of two hundred and sixty two pounds and representing The Shinijoshi, they are ... NARUMI TSUTSUMI AND “HEADHUNTRESS” AIYA! BLOODY SUREIYĀZU!
As ‘Gurenge’ blares over the PA system, both Narumi(in her oni mask) and Aiya emerge from behind the curtains to a pinkish red fog. Aiya chillingly studies the arena with her gaze while Narumi makes spooky ghoulish gestures closely behind her. When Narumi steps up to stand beside Aiya she removes her mask and both women smirk at each other and then towards the ring with ill intent. Aiya saunters forward down the ramp while Narumi hops behind her sticking her tongue out at the camera. Aiya enters the ring through the top and middle rope while Narumi follows sliding under the bottom. Aiya leans against the corner staring forward while Narumi stands up to whisper in her ear as they go over the game plan while waiting.
Stroup: And their opponents, from Seattle, Washington ... and Sugbu, the Philippines!
It's an easy crowd; they're already popping huge.
Stroup: At a combined weight of three hundred and fifty eight pounds ... JOJO RUSH AND DARNA! DAAAARE!!!
The opening fade to "Chinchilla" begins, but when the beat drops it instead erupts into the opening vocal of "Heavy", the screen flowing smoothly from an image of Darna to the growling face of her tag team partner.
Come heavy or don't come at all,
You leave your peace at home that's your call
It never paid to be merciful,
Come heavy or don't come at all.
COME HEAVY OR DON'T COME AT ALL!
And at that moment, both step out in leather chaps and Stetsons, Darna absolutely SHRIEKING as the crowd erupt at sight of her. She beats at her chest with both hands and sprinting around the stage in a wild oval, her blonde-streaked hair streaming off her shoulders. As the music just hits harder, she flips neatly onto JoJo Rush's back, the tiny hellion perching there as the brawny cowboy proceeds to ringside, giving her time to slap hands with the audience on either side. They're losing their collective minds, doing everything short of hurling their babies at the exorcist as she's borne to the edge of the apron.
There, she straightens to her full height, flourishes her arms, and dives from JoJo's shoulders into the ring, shifting her hips and shoulders to the music as she contorts around to face her partner, beckoning him to come join her. With a cool grin, Rush throws his arms out wide and struts up the ring steps, getting perhaps the biggest ovation of his career as Darna continues to work her people into a frenzy, making lingering eye contact with her opponents as she twists and turns. The pop is renewed as the final chorus hits, and both whip their hats out over the crowd, before taking up their starting positions.
DING DING DING
There's only one person who can start for the impromptu team, without starting a riot, and so it's Dare who launches herself across the ring like a bullet at the Headhuntress, starting proceedings with a massive front dropkick that knocks Aiya back against the turnbuckle. She's tough, though, thrusting herself forward as Darna spins back to her feet, the two vicious girls coming almost nose-to-nose as they stare each other down, the crowd running hot behind them. Dare flashes a grin and goes for a headbutt, but Aiya drops down and double-legs her to the canvas, sliding into mount and raining down twelve-to-six elbows that almost instantly bust the Pinoy open.
This just seems to make the little nutcase stronger, and she catches the next elbow to come her way, bucking her hips to reverse their positions and work in a swift kimura that she can't quite hold onto; Aiya spins out in turn, bent double as she finds her feet and then erupts into a mule kick that smashes the exorcist in the blood-stained temple! Darna's flung to and through the ropes, catching herself on a apron and swinging her legs back up and around as she skins the cat back into the ring, walking right into a hook kick that she takes with a roar, responding by seizing the Headhuntress by the shoulders and rearing up into her own Bronze Scorpion Kick, using that outrageous flexibility to absolutely WAFFLE Aiya!
Bloodsoaked and eager, Dare looks to follow up, whirling around into a daredevil Rolling Thunder that the Headhuntress slips away from, pulling herself up on the ropes and making the tag to Narumi.
Aiello: Lest we forget, the Indy Champion comes fresh from a victory over Darna Dare on Prime this past week; this is a rematch of sorts, and one I'm sure the people of the Philippines would love to see end in some vengeance.
Bennett: Hell yeah, we've already got blood - let's have some more!
Narumi smiles, and puts out a hand, but in response Darna simply tries to bite her knuckles, and the Onihime is just as quick to respond - surging into that roaring elbow, the Master Sword! She decks Dare right between the eyes, and as she falls backwards reaches in to grab her by the arm and whip her to where Aiya stands ready against the ropes. Darna doesn't have a chance; Aiya leans forward and spits out a cloud of pink-red mist, hitting her with an Improper Offering! She claws at her eyes, stumbling right into a Rear View from her active opponent!
JoJo Rush is irate on the other side of the ring, shaking the ropes and leaning over, begging for the tag as Darna flops over and starts crawling toward him. She's abruptly yanked to her feet in a full Nelson, Narumi smiling placidly at the crowd as they begin to turn on her team, before she arches into a snap Dragon Suplex that sends Darna across the ring - mercifully, toward Rush, who's stretching his entire body out to try and get the tag. Dare is rattled, but manages to pull herself up on the ropes just before Tsutsumi comes running in, blocking the searing superman punch that comes her way, dropping down to dive through the stumbling Narumi's legs and then, with a yell, catches her from behind with a single-leg dropkick!
Tsutsumi staggers into the corner, as Darna curls into a breathless sprint and falls upon her with a flurry of strikes, opening with a flying forearm and closing with a spinning side kick to the chest before she collapses onto the outstretched hand of her partner - who's giving her quite the stinkeye for her theatrics.
Rush hauls Narumi out of the corner into a snug headlock, working it for a moment before he shifts her with casual power into the air for a vertical suplex. He directs traffic with his partner, and together they launch themselves at opposite sides of the ring - actually managing to synchronize as JoJo launches off the ropes with a High Noon-sault, and Darna tucks into a ball, flipping out into a thunderous leg drop across the throat. She dives toward Aiya as JoJo makes the cover!

KICKOUT!
Aiello: Both teams showing their teamwork despite a little friction between Dare and her partner; but she's doing a great job cutting off Aiya, forcing Narumi to do the hard work by herself. Smart move.
Bennett: Not bad for a midget who's already bled a couple of pints. Look at Aiya, though!
Narumi has managed to work her way into a series of adroit counter-holds with Rush, and by Bloody Sureiyāzu's corner Darna has successfully prevented Aiya's intervention only to get a faceful of turnbuckle as the Sadistic Sakura grabs her by the back of the head and simply, brutally drives her bloodied forehead against the exposed post. Smirking at the crowd, she yanks Dare around, nails her with a headbutt, and then drapes her across her shoulders...
BEAT IN: JAPANESE STYLE! The impact is horrific as the Headhuntress takes the opportunity to Burning Hammer the battered five-footer against the corner. Darna goes down in a tangle of limbs, kicked out past the apron before Aiya takes her position, the tag rope in end and dark eyes turned toward her partner as she transitions out of a rest hold and finds herself on the receiving end of the cowboy's power; he goes from underneath her, into a deadlift powerslam that shakes the entire ring, planting the Onihime flat before he collapses onto all fours, gasping for breath after the clinic she's put him through. JoJo makes his way to the corner, before realizing Darna isn't there; and in the same moment, there's a slap from the other side.
Aiello: Perhaps I spoke too soon, this has all gone wrong for Rush and Dare!
Bennett: Haha! Oops!
Bloody Sureiyāzu are in full control, rushing down Rush before he can really work out what's happened. Having not just taken a crushing blow, Aiya gets there first, grabbing him by the hair and pulling him to his feet in time to have him ready for a ferocious double superkick that sends him sprawling against the ropes. From there, each pick a side and begin hammering away with kicks, keeping the cowboy trapped as they berate him and then pause, each with a foot on his skull, looking out to the crowd with a pair of signature 'v'-signs, smiling as most fans respond negatively to this display!
The momemtum remains on their side, until a howling whoop sounds from the other side of the ring, and to a massive pop from her home crowd, as Darna Dare sprints across the ring and ambushes a wide-eyed Narumi with a knee right to the face! KALABAW HUNTING HORN! Tsutsumi goes flying face-first over the ropes, bouncing uncomfortably off the turnbuckle, and then Darna springs to her feet and begins unleashing on the Headhuntress, releasing a flurry of palm strikes accompanied by virulent shrieks, and then just hurtling at her with a crossbody out of nowhere, taking her down and closing her teeth on Aiya's forehead!
As Darna gnashes away, on the outside of the ring Narumi has gotten shakily to her feet, only to eat a running, leaping European uppercut as a worse-for-wear JoJo comes off the apron at full speed. The Onihime slumps over the barricade, and Rush considers capitalizing - then wisely turns and dives back into the ring, just as a heavily bleeding Aiya manages to fight back and get a knee into Darna's throat, shoving her back up to her feet, then scrambling away only to fly right back in with an SOS! The spinning kick drops the seething exorcist like a sack of potatoes, but in the same instant Rush hits a double-leg, holding on to pick the Headhuntress up for a big swing! The crowd count along; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7...
...and then Darna's on her feet, shaking off the cobwebs, locking eyes with JoJo as he spins around again--
--and ready on the other side, crushing Aiya with a basement dropkick as she's released into her care!
JoJo staggers toward the corner, and Darna lunges toward him, ducking through the ropes to make the tag, before casting a glance back over her shoulder at Narumi, who's turning away from the barricade.
She walks right into ANOTHER Hunting Horn, Darna's knee getting her full in the face as she comes flying off the apron, and back into the ring where JoJo is scooping the Headhuntress up and over onto his shoulders. The crowd are losing their minds, sending this massive shift in momentum and the end of the match approaching. Rush pivots Aiya around, resecuring his grip on her as she starts to struggle, and barks an instruction at Dare, who flashes an unruly grin in reply--
--and then hits the ropes, coming in running with a second howling whoop--
--and a third Kalabaw Hunting Horn, into Aiya this time! The shot is heard around the Philippines, and around the world!
Rush holds onto the ragdolling Sakura, flips her off his shoulders, and hits the Go 90! TKO! Aiya is OUT!!
As Darna springs onto the corner post, keeping an eye on Aiya, Rush makes the cover.

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winners, via pinfall ... DARNA DARE AND JOJO! RUUUUUUUSSSSHH!!
With the announcement, Darna is positively glowing, the crowd's roar visibly hitting her as she tightens her grip on the ropes and, instinctively, flies into her signature pose, legs extended out past the ring as JoJo straightens up from Aiya with a boisterous roar that turns into a "YEE-HAWWWWW!" That the crowd pick up along with him. A whole host of Filipinos in the front row turn out to have brought their own Stetsons, and a wave of cowboy hats go flying up into the air, raining down on the ring as Rush spreads his arms and beats on his chest, ready to receive Darna when she flips off the turnbuckle and hits him at full speed, wrapping him up in the tiniest, bloodiest full-body hug!
Rush laughs, picks her up in a bearhug, and then dumps her unceremoniously back onto her feet as the official approaches to raise their arms, and Bocaue continues to lose its goddamn mind.
"THANK YOU, DARNA!" stomp-stomp-stompstompstomp "THANK YOU, JOJO!" stomp-stomp-stompstompstomp
Aiello: Astonishing! We knew the odds were stacked here, and Bloody Sureiyāzu looked every bit as dangerous as we expected, but the team of Darna Dare and JoJo Rush kept their cool, and made it back through a bad situation to look like a genuine, established team. I have a feeling we might not have seen the last of them!
Bennett: I gotta admit, this was hard-fought and well-deserved. Dare kept Narumi under control, Rush kept his shit together against the Headhuntress, and somehow they pulled this off. But don't think we've seen the last of this Shinijoshi pair either; they're headed to War Games, and the sky's the goddamn limit from there.
Aiello: With no sign of the Heat Packers here I can only assume they went to regroup ahead of PRIME 102, but you know that War Games is going to be brutal on Sunday! Folks, we are just moments away from our main event of the evening as King Flip defends the EWC International Championship against Stitches, in a First Blood match! Don't go away folks, there WILL be blood!
With that, we move to our final commercial break of the night.
OH YES...THERE WILL BE BLOOD!

FIRST BLOOD MATCH
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Stitches
VS King Flip
We return to ringside. Stroup is ready to fire off for the last time of the night. The X-Tron fires up, however, running a clip of King Flip and Stitches' previous match. Flip slams the steel chair down and tosses it over to his opponent. The referee turns around just after the King has fallen flat to the ground, Chanel having kept the distraction on just long enough. Stitches and the referee both look to the steel chair, then each other, a look of disappointment in the referee's eyes as he turns to call the end of the match via disqualification. A voice over begins.
King Flip: I can't stress enough how important this is to me.
Flip has a smile on his face in the clip as the final bell sounds. DING DING DING and it's all over... or is it? Stitches pounds the steel chair into Flip one, two, three times before the referee can get between them. The then number one contender is pulled out of the ring by his manager. He's smiling. The voice over returns.
King Flip: At the time, I mean, I knew I'd pissed you off. I didn't think I could be the one to finally make the carnival clown snap.
The clip quickly changes to the moment medical personnel helped Stitches out of the building later that night.
King Flip: I'm not proud of that... but I am proud of this.
Another change of the clip, fast forwarding through Xavier Reid's boot lighting up and going ablaze. Then quickly through Gabrielle Visconty missing her mark with her super finisher and getting planted by the International champion. Even faster through three falls against Rhodes.
King Flip: I can't say it's all been pretty. Then again, I'm not a pretty man.
A collage of quick picks play in tandem and a collection of small package and otherwise unscrupulous pins from the International champion against faces like Mark Storm, Darius, Samantha Hamilton, Jamie Love, Xavier Reid, and so on and so forth ad nauseum.
King Flip: See you in thirty seconds, Stitches.
The tron finally cuts off. Cameras cut back to Stroup blinking through her visible confusion but for a second. Cameras smash cut to the announce table while she recovers.
Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, you're watching the main event of BRAWL!
Bennett: Mind games from the International champion to the very last second. You might not be able to appreciate a montage of pins right before a match where you spill blood to win, but hey. You can't say he's not trying.
Aiello: King Flip has been slowly cracking right along with his body in the last few months, Bennett, this is par for the course. And if anyone knows anything about cracking, it's the contender of the evening. Stitches is a certified LUNATIC and we should expect all the stops to come out in a violent match like this.
Bennett: Including the stop sign!
Aiello: Without further ado, we throw back to Jessica Stroup...
Stroup: The following contest is a FIRST BLOOD match for the International championship!
Fans throughout the arena rise to their feet as they all give massive jubilation at the announcement. A few signs can be seen as many are lifted into the air, including such gems as: "Carnival Clowns going CARNIVAL DOWN", "Jester > King", and "Chanel, will you marry me?" Stroup remains steadfast in the ring.
Stroup: Joining us first, from the carnival of shattered dreams, weighing in at 260 pounds ... he is the New Orleans NIGHTMARE ... STIIITCHEEES!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Even as they erupt in another cheer, Stitches is just glaring quizzically at Jessica Stroup as King Flip comes running through the curtain with a steel chair. The carnival clown has his wits about him, however, and the audience reaction clues him in just in time. He turns and immediately rolls under a heavy swing of the chair from the International champion. The theme music cuts off. The clown rolls right to his feet and WHAM! Vicious right hook to the face of Chanel just as she's following through the curtain. She immediately stumbles backward. Flip turns and throws the chair at the challenger. Stitches slides underneath it! He turned right back around so quickly he saw the chair coming, even getting the first strike with an uppercut to the chin of the champion who is rushing forward.
Aiello: WHOA! The match hasn't even started yet and the challenger is CLEANING HOUSE.
Bennett: The champ tried to lean on an old page of his and went for the attack during the entrance. Well, now we see it doesn't always work.
Stitches grabs the chair in one hand and a patch of Flip's beard in the other, getting to his feet and lifting the champ up to their feet as well. He thrusts Flip forward by the beard and follows it up with a chair shot. CRACK! A slam to the back takes the King to one knee as he hobbles and shuffles toward the ring. CRACK! Another vicious swing to the back. Flip is brought to his hands and knees with this one. He crawls forward still, reaching the ring apron and using it to shakily begin to stand. No. CRACK! This time it's a blast straight to the fingers on the edge of the ring. The King screams aloud as he falls and clutches his fingers, rubbing them endlessly as he rolls to the steel steps. The fans fire up once as they catch Chanel absolutely sprinting toward the challenger with the International championship clasped in both hands. KA-POW! Stitches begins to turn around just in time to get oopsed upside his head and get sent stiffly into the ring apron.
Aiello:Chanel with some immediate revenge!
Bennett: Revenge is best served hot. Get it? Because she's hot.
Aiello: Color commentator oggles women, how original.
The sneaky manager quickly gets to her client to help him to his feet while simultaneously motioning at Jessica Stroup to continue on.
Stroup: And his opponent, from the land of money and fame, weighing in at 220 pounds ... He IS your EWC International Champion ... KIIING FLIP!
No new music plays. Chanel rolls Flip into the ring with his title now securely in his hands. Stroup gets the hell out of dodge. Stitches has now gotten to his feet and begins chasing Chanel around the ring. He's actually much faster than her and she frighteningly sees it. She slides into the ring. Stitches follows. CRACK! The challenger sees his opponent up as he rises to his own feet, so he blasts Flip in the ribs with the chair. CRACK! A third thunderous slam of the chair to the back and Flip is right back down. Chanel is safely out of the ring.
Aiello: IT FINALLY BEGINS! HERE WE GO!
DING DING DING
Stitches stalks the champion. He patiently waits to wrap this steel chair in his hands against Flip, who is fumbling about with his free hand thrown out ahead of him. He drags himself by the ass on the canvas as he shoves away with his feet. Championship clutched tightly against his rib cage, Flip stares as Stitches as he attempts to non-verbally halt the assault. Flip raises his arm to the top rope just as he slimes himself toward it. Still the two men stare one another down. The King grips the rope and slowly pulls himself up. Just as he turns around the clown goes for the strike. Clearly aiming for the fingers. The champion yanks and falls forward into a vicious right hook squarely to the testicles.
Aiello: GAH-LEE!
Bennett: Price check on olives.
The audience audibly winces, "OOF"s and "UGH"s and "OH"s all around. Stitches' grip on the chair wanes and it goes flying out of the ring as Stitches immediately crumbles to the ground, a single foot almost instinctively flopping up into the air and slamming to the canvas over and over again to accentuate the situation. Neither champ nor challenger is getting up from the exchange. Chanel slams her hands down on the canvas in a cadence that the crowd rallies behind. Stomps thunder through the arena and King Flip is beginning to respond to it. The carnival clown is moving as well, both men find a vertical base, and it's a raucous exchange of right hands as they both lash forward. They're pummeling the hell out of each other's faces.
Aiello: Absolute maniacs! Champion and challenger going full bore into each other's faces here. Stitches turning around the attack from behind and dominating Flip in the preamble. One pop to the nuts later and these guys are going right hand for right hand. It looks painful!
Bennett: If I can divide your attention for just a second, the guys in the back want you all to see something. Check this out.
The standby BRAWL picture-in-picture graphic pops up and there's a small replay of both the right hand from Stitches to Chanel at the curtain, then a slo-mo of the right hand from King Flip to Stitches. Meanwhile, it appears the carnival clown is once again getting the upper hand in the ring.
Bennett: King Flip gave an almost frame-for-frame copy of Stitches' right hand to his valet. Even his punches tell a story.
Aiello: Well, the only story being told right now is that the carnival clown has returned to Extreme Wrestling in all his glory. He is downright pummeling the champion as we speak.
After a few solid blocks, Stitches has taken Flip to the corner on the offensive. Kick, kick, kick to the midsection and Flip is down with his back to the turnbuckles. The challenger immediately begins twisting at the right hand and arm of the King. The International championship finally falling to the canvas as Stitches continues twisting the arm while beginning to switch places with his victim. The clown slowly climbs the turnbuckles. A mixed reaction from the crowd. Stitches tightrope walks the top rope all the way to the wavering middle, throwing his free arm to balance himself but once. He bounds and leaps into the sky and drops a stiff right forearm to the back of King Flip. The champ bounces face first off the canvas and the crowd's mixed reaction begins to turn to jeers.
Aiello: Flying wallenda! Classic old school wrestling, ya love to see it.
Bennett: King Flip needs to turn this around and turn it around quickly. He just dropped the title and if he doesn't catch Stitches and catch him quickly we might actually be watching King Flip drop the belt both literally and figuratively.
Aiello: Dio is rubbing off on you, too, huh?
Stitches has picked up the International championship from the canvas just before Chanel can get around to grabbing it herself. She slams her hands on the canvas and yells something that the clown completely ignores. He waits for Flip to get to their feet, then rushes and sends the champion into a backflip with a savage lethal lariat. Flip once again slams on his face against the canvas. Stitches raises the belt up and the then tosses it aside. He slides out of the ring and goes underneath a moment. The King is having a very hard time trying to get back to his feet. The clown procures a length of chain and a trash can, tossing the can before sliding into the ring. Flip is barely on all fours. Stitches jumps on the opportunity to climb the champion and wrap the chain around the neck. And in an obnoxious modification he yanks at one side of the face of Flip and chokes him out with the chain wrapped around fist and throat.
Aiello: Cheshire Smile! A twisted, modified version but a rose of any other color is still a rose.
Bennett: I'm really starting to feel bad for the King here. The Benchmark is getting obliterated right now.
Aiello: Wait a minute! Chanel's got her hands on the title again. She's slowly moving toward Stitches inside the ring.
Chanel screams out, championship clasped in both hands, and is making her second attempt to blast Stitches with the belt, but Stitches hears her behind him and leaps into a blasting back elbow. The manager just crumples right out of the ring and falls harshly to the thinly-padded concrete. Stitches yells some sort of warning at her to heavy jeers from the audience. Flip is hacking and coughing as he just barely has the strength to push the chain from around his neck out of the ring. The clown doesn't lay off the King, however, as he quickly bounces right back to clasping Flip back into his signature camel clutch. Flip finally catches the clown off guard. He grasps the legs of the challenger and pushes to his feet before nailing a modified jawbreaker across the chin of Stitches. Flip sits on the canvas and Stitches bounces off the top of his head. Finally, if only for a moment, the clown is taken off his feet and is down on the canvas. The King hardly gets to his feet and seizes his moment. He rushes to the ropes, bouncing off of them into a roll on the canvas. His signature rolling thunder awes the crowd. The Dethronement!
Aiello: They're signature for signature now. Here come the big guns, folks, as these two animals try to keep one another down.
Bennett: And that's a move we haven't seen in a little while. Flip is pulling from deep to try to turn this around.
Flip speedily rolls out of the ring, still shaking the cobwebs of the match as he swiftly kneels down to check on his step-sister. She's hardly moving but does have the capacity to roll over and hand off the championship belt. A wide grin crosses the King's face as he takes it and slides in to keep the upper hand on the challenger. He waits for that similar all-fours position before he pounces. Now it's Flip pulling Stitches by the neck with the International championship in yet another modified signature camel clutch. KNEEL! Stitches, however, wants nothing to do with this and has the wherewithal to crawl close enough to the bottom rope that he can utilize it. In one fail swoop both challenger and champion go cascading through the ropes to the outside of the ring. Stitches has successfully and quickly broken from the submission maneuver. Both men, however, are down on the thinly-padded concrete. Almost no movement whatsoever as the fans explode.
"HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT! HO-LY SHIT!"
Aiello: King Flip checks on his manager, gets the title, locks in the damn camel clutch but for a second when Stitches violently and manically just sends both of them soaring to demise.
Bennett: Both men are known for going the 'cheap but effective' route if you know what I mean. Just like flyin' off the damn top rope, some moves just have a certain impact on ya even if you're the one that did it.
Both men get to their feet and meet right next to the discarded trash can. SOUND OF SILENCE! No! Stitches has the DDT locked in but Flip comes back with a barrage of forearms to the ribs and blocks the attempt. The King wrestles out of the lock and connects with one more right hand to the chin before locking something else in. K.I.N.G! NO!! Now Stitches has come back with a back elbow to the ear of the champion. They both wobble in place for a second but it's Stitches with both hands clasping Flip by the hair. Modified backbreaker as King Flip flattens the trash can with his weight. The carnival clown gets up with ease and lifts Flip by the hair to his feet. The champ gets a haymaker to the ribs just before Stitches goes to smash his face against the steel guardrail. Flip gets both hands on the guardrail and stops it. Kick, kick, kick to the midsection and finally Flip breaks Stitches away for a second. Beautiful Disasterpiece! The challenger just leaps into a massive bicycle kick to the face of King Flip. Stitches picks up the International Championship and turns around. He rushes after a long, drawn out crawling around King Flip finally gets to their feet. Flip turns right into it. WHAM! The championship blasts across his face. FIRST BLOOD! The referee quickly calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Stroup: Here is your winner...and NEW EWC International Champion... STIIIIIITCHEEEEEES!
Stitches is barely able to stand after the hell he and King Flip have been through tonight, and after a moment the ref accepts this and raises the arm of the new champion in a kneeling position as medical staff rush down to the ring to check on both men, before we cut to commentary.
Aiello: This was an absolute WAR tonight folks, no doubt about that...and after nearly FIVE months as champion, King Flip has finally been dethroned by the Carnival Clown!
Bennett: This was as brutal and violent as one would've expected, worthy of main-eventing any PPV event, and we got one HELL of an EWC International Championship fight here on Monday Night BRAWL! King Flip had a great, great reign as champion, but Stitches was able to outlast him here tonight!
Aiello: Between this and Gabi Vee winning the FX Broadcast Championship earlier tonight, you really get a sense of the change in the landscape of the red brand as we move toward Youngblood IV, our season finale in November, and then WrestleFest to end the year! Thank you for joining us here tonight from Bocaue, folks! For Steve Bennett I'm Joe Aiello, saying so long and goodnight, and we'll see you at Youngblood IV!
The medical staff attend to both the new and former champ, the effects of this battle--this war--all too evident as the show comes to a close.
