"START A FIGHT" by GHØSTKID blasts in the Arena
The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #590 in Bocaue.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, from Xplode defeating Shadow Man to unify the belts to footage of the men and women of BRAWL who have held the illustrious title including Ashton Drake, Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and Xavier Reid, before ending on the current champion Lavender.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, King Flip, Gabrielle Visconty, Tyler Bradford, KU, Antoni Malietoa, Stitches, Melinda Rhodes, Darius, Iggy Swango, Dio, Alex Carbajal, Chelsea Skye, Zack Tyler, Caleb Scott, Captain Morgan Darkwater, JoJo Rush, Dean Judas, and various others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Gabrielle Visconty with the FX Broadcast Championship
Stitches with the EWC International Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

Aiello: Hello everyone and welcome to beautiful New York City, as we present the Season 23 Finale of Monday Night BRAWL! I'm Joe Aiello alongside Hall of Famer Steve Bennett, for what promises to be a wild night to cap off the season for the red brand! We have a ton of in-ring action ahead of us, as well as the promise of a general election for the position of BRAWL General Manager!
Bennett: Joe, I heard that Jim's been sitting on pins and damn needles all week over this announcement. Tomorrow marks mid-term elections throughout the States, but for Connors it could actually mark the end of an era!
Aiello: It's a curious situation to be sure, as we gear up for some big matches as we round out the season before heading to WrestleFest XX! In our main event, three ladies looking to resolve some old issues will have a chance to see who goes on to compete for the FX Broadcast Championship at the final show of the year as Chelsea Skye, Melinda Rhodes, and Iggy Swango face off in a triple threat match!
Bennett: That could be a hell of a match Joe, I can't wait to see these ladies rip each other apart for the chance to compete for gold come WrestleFest!
Aiello: We also have the FX Broadcast Championship on the line tonight, as Alex Carbajal has cashed in her rematch to face the new champion Gabrielle Visconty! Whoever wins this will be keeping a close eye on the main event of the night, for sure!
Bennett: Bullet has a chance to win back that title, but Gabi ain't gonna make it easy for her by a long shot!
Aiello: Speaking of title pictures however, we have Xavier Reid taking on the Intercontinental Champion in non-title action tonight, as he looks to score another win over Stitches and further cement that he deserves a shot at the title!
Bennett: That title situation is a hell of a thing Joe, you have the number one contender in Morgan Darkwater alongside King Flip looking for his rematch, and Xavier Reid looking to slide into the fray...and a win over the champ tonight could seal the deal!
Aiello: There's also the matter of JoJo Rush taking on Dean Judas, just one week after what some would call a Judas-like move on the part of Rush when he attacked Darkwater after the former's match against Moxie!
Bennett: Listen, that was a very complicated night and Rush has even said he'll address that in time...but I heard that Dean said some shit that might've lit a fire under Rush's ass tonight!
Aiello: Rounding out our in-ring action tonight are three interbrand matches with some big stakes! Jordan Sharpe's farewell tour finally makes a stop here on the red brand as he takes on Dio, the former CW Broadcast Champion Salvador Serenity takes on Caleb Scott in X-Division action, and in our opening match we see Bloody Sureiyāzu representing PRIME as they take on S.T.!
Bennett: That X-Division match is gonna be brutal as hell, S.T. have a lot to tackle as they take on a team with the reigning Indy Champion off the back of her defense at Youngblood IV, and it's about damn time we saw Sharpe in action here on BRAWL...but he's got his hands full with Dio!
Aiello: Well folks, let's get right into it then! Thank you for joining us for this Season 23 Finale, and when we come back we will see tag team interbrand insanity right here on Monday Night BRAWL!
We open up backstage in Bloody Sureiyāzu’s locker room. Both Aiya and Narumi stare into the camera for a few seconds, before lightly bowing their heads. As their gaze returns to the camera, Aiya nods firmly.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you should look at your opponents. Not focus on the petty shit, but just be ready to face them. For all the shit everyone else has tried to say against ST, the fact is … they get it. Which is almost funny, hilarious, and just a bit sad that more experienced units like The Southern Express didn’t understand our motives or just about anything with stepping into the tag team division, let alone tried to make fun of it.
Narumi nods in agreement.
Narumi: I see what you’re saying about these two now. They’re eager for just a fight, and with that being the case so am I to show the world what we can do. I’m sure it’ll be a great match for those watching. I for one was just as tired as you were of others making stuff about our teams and questioning our choices.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Honestly, the only thing that should be focused on are who steps through the rings and prepares to face you. Not trying to conjure up random bullshit or conspiracy theories. I mean, look how that faired for The Express - they ended up losing their reign and are going to end their careers as ex-champions. And then The Bastards were so certain they’d read the ‘book’ we made on how to beat Damage Inc. that they ended up getting pinned by them.
Narumi: While I’m still champion, and actually tied the defences of The Southern Express’s first legendary reign. I do have one more match left with The Southern Express and a bit of a celebration I wanted to throw on the Prime finale, but tonight I’m excited to have this contest to finish off our time on Brawl this season on a good note.
”Headhuntress” Aiya: Mhm, indeed, as am I. So .. let’s see how it plays out. A Yankee and an Onihime stand across from two bikers. Let’s see which group is standing when the dust settles. Just remember … while there may not be anything personal against ST or The Shieldmaidens, we have zero intentions of making this an easy fight.
Both Narumi and Aiya perform the double deuces hand signs as the camera fades to the EWCTV advertisement.

Jordan Sharpe is stretching in his locker room, watching the show on the television in the corner as Carley browses social media on her phone.
Carley: People are pretty excited about your big Monday Night Brawl debut!
JFS: Then I’d better not disappoint them.
She chuckles.
Carley: I think we’ve got this under control, don’t you? You feeling nervous?
JFS: Nah. Another day, another dollar.
He keeps warming up as she groans.
Carley: I forgot my charger in the rental car. I’m gonna go grab it.
Jordan stops her at the door.
JFS: Why don’t you let me go get that for you, I don’t mind.
She rolls her eyes at him.
Carley: Jordan, it’s okay. There’s people everywhere. You’re paranoid. I’ll be right back. I want you to keep getting ready for the match.
He sighs, and steps back.
JFS: You’re probably right. Hurry up though.
She exits through the door and we go to …
A BLOODY GOOD TAG BOUT AWAITS!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Bloody Sureiyāzu
VS S.T.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Bloody Sureiyāzu
VS S.T.
We return to ringside where the crowd is pumped for a night of action.
Aiello: We're ready to go here on Monday night, and kicking us off are four ladies who need no introduction; but we're going to give them one anyway, S.T. and Bloody Sureiyāzu. That means 'Bloody Slayers' in Japanese, Steve.
Bennett: I know what it means! I pay attention to Aiya's little lessons, let me tell you! But what it really means is vicious competition, no holds barred, strikes from every angle, and I hope Psycho and Bandit are ready for. the. pain.
Aiello: I think they'd assure you that they've never been more ready for anything. Let's get it on!
Stroup: The following contest is for one fall, and is a tag team match. Joining us first, from Shinjuku and Kyoto, Japan, respectively, at a combined weight of two hundred and sixty two pounds and representing the Shinijoshi, they are ... NARUMI TSUTSUMI AND “HEADHUNTRESS” AIYA ... BLOODY SUREIYĀZU!
As ‘Gurenge’ blares over the PA system, both Narumi(in her oni mask) and Aiya emerge from behind the curtains to a pinkish red fog. Aiya chillingly studies the arena with her gaze while Narumi makes spooky ghoulish gestures closely behind her. When Narumi steps up to stand beside Aiya she removes her mask and both women smirk at each other and then towards the ring with ill intent. Aiya saunters forward down the ramp while Narumi hops behind her sticking her tongue out at the camera. Aiya enters the ring through the top and middle rope while Narumi follows sliding under the bottom. Aiya leans against the corner staring forward while Narumi stands up to whisper in her ear as they go over the game plan while waiting.
Stroup: And their opponents, at a combined weight of two hundred and twenty five pounds, representing the Shieldmaidens ... JACKIE "BANDIT" LAYTON AND "PSYCHO" SAOIRSE MAGUIRE ... S.T!
"Pledge Your Allegiance" by Suicidal Tendencies starts up. 12 seconds in, the "S! T!" chants start. Aoife "Banshee" Maguire takes this as her cue to walk through the curtain. A second later, the team known as S.T., Jackie "Bandit Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire, walk through the curtain as well. The three women make their way to the ring where Banshee steps through the ropes first, the others following her in. She takes the center of the ring and points to the two corners facing the camera. Bandit takes the left corner, Psycho takes the right and all three raise a fist in the air.
DING DING DING
Aiya cedes to Narumi with a smirk, as the pair of Shieldmaidens exchange a few words, then a fist-bump that leaves Bandit ducking out and the mohawked Maguire stepping up to the plate with a definite swagger in her step. Stopping just shy of Narumi, she sketches out a bow, her hands pressed together, and then echoes Aiya's smirk as she throws out a fist. The Onihime eyes it warily, narrows her eyes, and then brings her own fist in for a collision-- then IMMEDIATELY powers into a snapping kick that sees her blur toward Psycho!
Eyes wide and blood up, Saiorse backpedals, swats the kick aside, and fires back with a spinning chop that thuds into Narumi's collarbone, garnering an 'ooooh' from the crowd! The competitors look at each other fiercely, but it's clear Narumi lost no love with the sudden attack - if anything, Maguire is beckoning her back in, asking for a return shot. The Onihime obliges with a chop of her own, that sends the Irish spitfire stumbling, only to rocket back in with a spinning hook kick-- that Narumi slides smoothly under, and spins into a MASTER SWORD! There's a boisterous yell from the Headhuntress as Psycho hits the deck, and spurred on by the cry Tsutsumi explodes across the ring, right into a superman punch that scatters Jackie Layton off the apron! Narumi shoves herself off from the ropes, and stomps back to her corner, slapping Aiya's hand before turning to face the recovered Maguire.
Now faced with two opponents, the native Dubliner rolls her shoulders, cracks her neck, and then hurls a wild front kick at Aiya, who catches it-- just like Psycho bet on! Grinning, she uses the fulcrum to twist, and yank Narumi Tsutsumi into a neckbreaker, spinning in the opposite direction to both free herself from Aiya and introduce the Onihime to the canvas!
She tumbles to her feet, pointing over at Layton as if to say 'she taught me that!' and then immediately eats a faceful of the Headhuntress, who hits her in the midsection with a spear, then immediately hunts for a snug kimura that draws a scream from her opponent!
Confident they're not getting the submission this early, Narumi has Aiya pull Maguire upright, and then Tsutsumi sweeps in with a second Master Sword rolling elbow! She bounces off like a pinball, cries out to rally the crowd behind her, and whips directly into a THIRD - this time joined by the Headhuntress, who releases Psycho to sandwich her between two profound strikes that have the crowd ROARING!
Aiello: An early statement by the Bloody, as they flex their teamwork against the arguably more established team.
Bennett: And just like that, Maguire's in serious trouble. That's four stiff shots to the noggin! She's gotta dig deep and get outta there!
The official is trying to maintain order, and eject Narumi from the ring, when the tenacious Bandit dives under the bottom rope and comes surging in to take a measure of vengeance. Aiya tries to cut her off, but eats an acrobatic rebound dropkick, Jackie landing on her knees and then stealing a move from Narumi's own playbook to immediately erupt into a spinning sweep that drops the Onihime. The Headhuntress pulls herself up on the ropes, now finding herself momentarily outnumbered as the two members of S.T. reunite and surround her. She jukes left, jukes right, and then goes down the center-line once more, slamming a boot into Bandit's gut and then spinning to seize a headlock that sees her use the smaller Shieldmaiden like a human shield, keeping her between she and Psycho.
Maguire looks frustrated, and tries to go around, only to eat a roundhouse kick over the top rope from a recovered - and legally-positioned - Narumi. It doesn't quite get her down, but does distract her, long enough for Aiya to launch one Shieldmaiden at the other and then charge in, peppering them both with strikes as the Onihime does her best to keep Psycho from counter-attacking. There's a GROWL from the unruly Irish, and then she straightens up and manages to introduce Narumi face-first to her DUBLIN KISS! There's a crunch, and blood is flowing from Narumi's nose as she recoils, and frees Psycho to dive at Aiya with a flying knee that about decapitates her!
Bandit rolls to her feet, and the stalwart biker babes drag the Headhuntress away from her corner, setting her up on the opposite side for a double rope-hung MAIDEN DDT! Aiya is HURT, and Psycho looks ready to go for the pin, Bandit wisely bailing back to her position.

KICKOUT!
Aiello: It can all turn around on a dime. Just like that, first blood and first near-fall goes to S.T.
Bennett: Psycho did it, Joe, she dug deep, clawed back against the darkness. She knows what it takes to win!
With the pinfall thwarted, Psycho looks perturbed, but Layton encourages her to come make the tag, and after a moment she obliges, perhaps taking her eyes off the prize as Aiya is able to right herself in the process. The tag is made, and Layton ducks in, slapping her friend and teammate on the back-- and turning around to see the Headhuntress making the tag in her own corner. Narumi mutters some words of assurance to the former gangster, who offers another of those smirks and a trusting nod. Wiping the blood from her face, the Onihime dances forward, into a very game Bandit, who explodes into a flurry of chops that drive her right back toward the corner!
Psycho barks a warning, and Layton manages to pull back before Aiya can snag her, leaping onto the middle rope to reach into the ring! Wagging her finger in admonishment, Bandit looks to Narumi, who stares right back and beckons her in. Layton hesitates, but then goes for it - launching past a whirling Tsutsumi, who shoves her right on into the corner, where-- Bandit counters! She flips right up and over the turnbuckle, briefly executing a handstand and transitioning to one hand to evade another grab by Aiya, before landing smartly on the other side and slingshotting herself back in for an astonishing corkscrew plancha that wipes out the Onihime!
"HELL IS EMPTY!" clap-clap-clapclapclap "LET'S GO MAIDENS!"
Grinning, Bandit spins to her feet, and wisely dives to her corner, making a quick trade-off to Psycho, the two of them picking up the Onihime and playfully taunting Aiya - who looks darkly furious - before they hit the STEALING SANITY! A high kick from Maguire, another beautiful sweep from Layton, and Tsutsumi looks to be the one in trouble now! Before anybody can go for the cover, however, Aiya simply bounds over the top rope, right into a flying neckbreaker that slams Maguire down with authority! The Headhuntress is on her feet like she never left them, hammering Layton with a swift combination of kicks, and finishing with a massive Shoot On Sight, before she dives onto Maguire and starts working in the Code Red. The official is trying to restore order, but clearly doesn't want to get too near Aiya, who is drawing pained screams from Maguire as she locks in the hold, grimacing as she reaps this agony.
Narumi staggers upright, and manages to intercept Layton, jerking her around and falling backwards to hammer her with a deadly-swift PAYMON! Bandit's by far the freshest competitor, but she meets Tsutsumi's boot with a sound like a gunshot, and looks out cold!
The official finally musters the spirit to force Aiya to break the hold, administering a warning that derives a hard snort from the dangerous woman, who holds up her hands as she makes the point that both competitors of the other team are also in the ring. His face looks conflicted, and it's enough for the two members of Bloody Sureiyāzu. They pat him on the back, then coordinate on the agonized Maguire, who is crawling away only to be swiftly bundled into a Lotus Lock by Narumi Tsutsumi!
"FECK YE! NO!" Screams Maguire, defiant in the face of all this punishment, but swiftly silenced as Aiya steps up and begins to hammer her repeatedly in the face with kick after whiplash kick! Her nose is the second to bust open, and as the blood runs the official finally pulls the Headhuntress away and administers his second warning, taking his eyes off the submission as the Psycho yells defiance one more time...
...and then taps as the Onihime wrenches the hold even tighter, gasping with the effort!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission ... BLOODY SUREIYĀZU!
They're brutal, but they're not unfair - as the bell rings, Narumi Tsutsumi releases her victim, and even pauses to check on her, with a cool detachment that only has the crowd cheering the louder for her show of sportsmanship. Maguire looks like she's been through hell, but nods reluctantly as she wipes the blood from her own face and then offers her hand. The Onihime laughs, daubs up a handful of her own blood and takes the offered grip, pulling the Shieldmaiden to her feet where she comes face-to-face with a smirking Aiya. They share a Look (tm), and Psycho brushes past to join her own teammate as the two Shinijoshi link arms and throw up conjoined 'v' signs in the middle of the ring, garnering an hellacious pop from the New York crowd!
Aiello: It would be safe to say there's no love lost here tonight, perhaps some respect gained, though? These four women came out fast and ferocious, and tested each other's limits in a fashion that showed us more than a few similarities between them.
Bennett: The Shieldmaidens held their own, yeah, but what matters is-- Narumi and Aiya got it done. You get blood for blood, and that's what happened here, Joe. S.T. ain't going nowhere, they'll turn this around, but the Bloody Whosawotsit? They're going places right now.
Aiello: A fair point, Steve. Folks, up next we have Dean Judas taking on JoJo Rush!

SINGLES MATCH
JoJo Rush
VS Dean Judas
We return to ringside where Josh Daniels is just sliding into the ring after a banger of an opening match.
Aiello: That first match started us off strong for the season finale but this match might just blow it out of the water.
Bennett: I don’t really care unless someone is left bleeding. This is the season finale for crying out loud.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall, Joining us first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 245 pounds ... DEAN JUDAS!
The lights along the entrance tunnel pulsate while the arena is engulfed in darkness. Each time the bass hits the lights flash on around the tunnel.
Judas is announced as the song hammers with every pulse being felt throughout the arena, a series of bright blinding white lights strobe. The chorus bangs.
Out walks Judas grinning. Strolling down the ramp as the music continues to overpower the crowd’s attempts to boo Dean into submission. Pounding his chest like a beast, Judas cracks his trademark smile flashing his pearly whites. Hopping down off of the turnbuckle Judas appears primed.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 245 pounds ... JOJO RUSH!
JoJo steps onto the stage and quickly gets down to his knees to place his fists together and bow his head. At the start of the second verse, JoJo throws his hands out wide and looks up high before strutting down to the ring.
DING DING DING
The moment the bell sounds, Dean sprints across the ring and levels JoJo with a stiff right forearm across the jaw. Dean follows it up with several chops across the chest as JOJO is having trouble covering up. Dean grabs a hold of JoJo's head, climbs up to the second turnbuckle and starts firing piston like rights into his head.
Before Dean can land the tenth strike, JoJo grabs him around the waist, takes a few steps forward and dropping him right down onto his knee. Dean yelps as JoJo lands a hard right hand of his own. Dean staggers a bit as JoJo lands a few more blows before grabbing him by the head and choking him across the top rope.
Aiello: Wow, this is a much more vicious Rush tonight!
Bennett: I really don't think Dean Judas was quite expecting this, Joe!
Daniels starts counting as JoJo releases Dean’s neck at the count of four. Daniels gives him a warning as JoJo just ignores him and strikes with a knee to the sternum. Dean keels over as JoJo runs toward the ropes. As he rebounds, Dean comes flying at him with a clothesline.
The clothesline turns JoJo inside out as Dean quickly goes for a quick cover.
ONE...
TW…….
JoJo manages to get his shoulder up as Dean picks him up by the hair. Dean wraps his arms around JoJo and flings him over head with a belly to belly suplex. As JoJo lands, he rolls out of the ring as Dean kips back up to his feet.
Aiello: Judas back to his feet now, and I think this could be a turning point!
Bennett: Looks like he's getting back into it after that onslaught earlier!
JoJo is walking around the floor holding the back of his head as Dean is busy taunting the audience. Dean slowly turns back around to see JoJo on the floor. He does a crotch chop and a two finger salute while laughing. JoJo slides into the ring with fire in his eyes.
JoJo rushes at Dean slams his shoulder into the midsection and drives back towards the corner. JoJo repeatedly slams his shoulder into Dean’s midsection before slamming his boot in the same spot. Josh Daniels is telling JOJO to get Dean out of the corner. JoJo flicks Daniels off as he starts wailing away at Dean’s face.
JoJo does back away for a second but on the way back gets a thumb to the eye by Dean. JoJo staggers as Dean quickly bounces off the ropes and connects with The Money Train. Dean quickly goes for the cover.
ONE...
TWO...
JoJo manages to get his foot on the bottom rope as Daniels sees it at the last second. Dean can’t believe it as he mounts JoJo and starts firing head shots while showering profanities at him. Dean goes to say something but JoJo spits right in his face.
Dean quickly hops off while complaining to the referee. JoJo gets back up to his feet and lands a vicious headbutt that rocks Dean. A thunderous right hand followed by a hard left knocks Dean to the ground. JoJo kneels down to the side, picks Dean up by the hair and delivers closed fist after closed fist to the head.
Josh admonishes JoJo who seems to be in a trance. The crowd seems stunned as Dean’s face is suddenly covered in blood. JoJo looks at his hands before jumping to his feet and running towards the ropes. Dean slowly rolls over onto his knees as JoJo comes running off the ropes, takes his left foot and uses it to stomp Dean into the canvas. JoJo doesn’t stop as he picks Dean up and locks him into the Hogtie. JoJo is squeezing as Dean immediately taps out.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission... JOJO RUSH!
JoJo eventually let’s go as Dean is unconscious. JoJo gets to a knee, shaking his head at Dean before he slowly rolls out of the ring as a sick smile crosses his face while yanking an arm away from a fan in the front row
Aiello: What did we just witness? Either JoJo snapped or Dean Judas said something that pissed him off. I did not expect to see that side of JoJo Rush.
Bennett: Finally, this guy grew a set of balls and handled his business like a man. Dean Judas should probably chose his actions more carefully next time. Now, I want more of this JoJo Rush.
Aiello: Folks, up next is X-Division action as PARAMOUNT'S Salvador Serenity takes on Caleb Scott...but it looks like we have company in the parking lot!
Camera cuts to ...
A gold limousine slows to a stop as cameras cut to the wrestler's parking lot area of the arena. Fans throughout the jam-packed Madison Square Garden erupt in jubilation as we see the three-foot tall limo driver hop out of the driver's seat. He waddles triumphantly toward the back passenger door. It pops, the door being opened from the inside, and our vertically-challenged driver winces as he throws his hands in the air. The door doesn't come flying at him this time. He gives out a 'phew' and wipes his forehead before opening the door the rest of the way. Fans cheer louder still as the Benchmark of Brawl slowly emerges in his usual expensively tailored suit. His right hand is still in a red cast; however, it seems he's been fitted for a much thinner cast since last we'd seen him. The limo driver pops the trunk at the push of a button. Flip waves to the camera while making his way to the back of the vehicle. Chanel emerges from the limousine to a pop of her own. The King rolls his eyes jovially in retort to the response.
Chanel: Ladies and gentlemen.
New York pops one more time for the ebony queen. Flip motions toward the duffel bag in the trunk, causing Chanel to shake her head as she goes to grab it. The King walks closer to the camera.
King Flip: Good evening, Extreme Wrestling, and before I say hello let me first tell you all how great it feels to be right here... at the granddaddy of all arenas in the United States, in one or the greatest cities in the world. RIGHT HERE
.. in Madison Square Garden. RIGHT. HERE. IN NEW. YORK. CITEHHHHH.
The arena erupts louder and louder for every cheap pop Flip had gone for there. He smiles for a moment, rubbing the cast around his wrist and hand.
King Flip: While it pains me deeply not to be able to wrestle for you fine people, that has never and will never stop me from coming around to my show and making sure the people have a damn good time. But let me... clear the air a bit. Allow me to make just one thing...
"PERFECTLY. FUCKING. CLEAR."
Flip smiles and nods to the fan reaction.
King Flip: Y'see, it's not that I'm upset I can't be cleared to compete. Hell, I'm still feeling the reeling aftermath of Night of Champions. Not to mention the Last Man Standing match... not to mention First Blood, where the world saw me lose the International championship to Stitches the Clown not too long ago. But it'd be on Rampage, when I'm slated to face "Salvation" Salvador Simirillion Sanchez Esquire III in some random match that I am... completely sidelined.
Flips demeanor gets more and more serious as he speaks. Chanel has taken the duffel and walked off at this point. The limo driver has waddled back into the driver's seat of the golden limousine after closing everything else up and is about to drive off.
King Flip: Now, did Salvador have anything to do with it? He did have some rather... choice words for me before the bout. But no, I don't think he did. Then perhaps it was Tanja Devereaux sticking her crooked nose where it doesn't belong again? No, that doesn't make sense either. Too many masks... not enough nice racks.
The limo driver looks at Flip disgusted as he closes the driver door, fires up the limo, and pulls off.
King Flip: Tonight, however, isn't about all that. It isn't about Tsutsumi coming on to MY BRAND to face some third-rate tag team with a fourth-rate name. It isn't about Stitches, or Dio, or any championship belts. Hell, I don't even give a shit who runs Brawl as long as they don't fail to book me night after night after fucking night. THIS... is about the season finalé. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last broadcast of Monday night Brawl in 2022. I just wanted -- nahnahnah, I NEEDED -- to come to Madison Square Garden to thank each and every one of you for supporting me. It's been a good year and, God willing, it is only a testament of things to come. Sure, I could hint at the World's tag team championships, The Bastards, and all that jazz, but that'll be seen on Friday night during the contract signing. Sure, I could talk about my rematch against Stitches for the International championship at Wrestlefest, but honestly, everything that needs to be said will be in the promo. Y'see, King Flip may be injured. His ego a little bruised. His pride a little muddied. His legacy a little sullied. But we saw the fallen King go on Paramount and call damn near the whole broadcast. We'll see him again on Friday, and again later than that... but what about now? What about Dio versus Jordan Sharpe? What about Iggy Swango's main event? Well... you'll have to wait and see. Monday night Brawl, I have always loved you. New York City, thank you. If you'll excuse me, the King may be sidelined. Momentarily set back. But the King, nevertheless, has business to attend to. Have a nice day.
He winks before walking off, the camera fading as we move to a commercial break.

SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVSION RULES
"Salvation" Salvador Serenity
VS Caleb Scott
We return to ringside where people are clamoring noisily for the next match to start.
Aiello: There's no satisfying Madison Square Garden, but we hear you! It's time for blood!
Bennett: It's time for the X-Division! As blink-and-you'll-miss-it CW Broadcast Champ Salvation pays us a visit from Paramount to prove he can hang with the baddest on the planet. Caleb Scott ain't that quite yet, but dammit he's fixing to be. This one's for bragging rights!
Stroup: The following match is for one fall, and is to be fought under X-Division rules! Joining us first, from Mystic River, weighing in at two hundred and eighty five pounds ... SALVATION!
Falling Away from Me by Korn erupts throughout the speakers as Salvation walks onto the stage. Salvation smiles wide, waving to the crowd as he makes his way out. Stopping halfway onto the stage, and turning, pointing with his Walking stick to Sienna Wolf making her way onto the stage. Salvation turns back to the fans throwing "Spock Signs" to the crowd with one hand, raising his walking stick with the other, then starts to jog down the aisle, high-fiving fans. Sienna follows down the ramp, also exchanging high fives and fist bumps along the barricade then stops at the ring. Salvation makes a loop around the ring, exchanging fist bumps and high-fives before sliding under the ropes and into the ring. He bounces off the ropes and few times before heading to his corner, handing over his walking stick to Sienna Wolf, then starts stretching.
Stroup: And his opponent, from St. Cloud, Minnesota, weighing in at two hundred and five pounds ... CALEB SCOTT!
Lights go black as Ze Nigmar plays. Four hooded figures with torches come out and stand on the stage, two on each side of the entrance. Lights stay off as the song intro plays. Once the drums in the song start, a single beam of light from above the ring shoots to the stage as Caleb Scott rises from the floor through a ring of white smoke. Holding his chain-wrapped bat, Caleb stands there for a few seconds looking at the crowd. Caleb begins to slowly walk to the ring as a short row of fire ignites on either side of the entrance ramp. Caleb approaches the steel steps and places his bat on the top step. He then places his hand on top of it and closes his eyes for a few seconds before going up the steps and into the ring, the single beam of light follows him the entire time. He walks towards the corner and stands on the middle rope. He stares out into the crowd for a few seconds before taking a deep breath, extending his arms out to the side, and unleashing a loud, thunderous scream before the lights come back on.
DING DING DING
There's nothing but smoldering intensity from Caleb Scott as the larger technician weaves toward him, shaking out his wrists and playing a little to the crowd with a distant smile. A dueling chant actually erupts, to absolutely no reaction from Scott, who waits until his opponent is in attack range and then thunders forward into a thudding calf kick. Salvation soaks it, twisting into a sidestep and pulling Scott into a meaty sideslam that sets the ring to shuddering and garners a big response from at least half the crowd!
Scott is a little slow to rise, and finds himself pinned in place with a tight headlock, worked into a technical contest that almost certainly favors the good doctor. He manages to muscle his way onto all fours, the headlock still in place, and then attempts to simply stand, pulling the other man with him! Salvation is having none of it, not just holding on but dropping his weight to pull Caleb back down, then smoothly using his legs to spin up and into a reverse armbar, the torsion on Scott's shoulder sending his face painfully into the canvas! The crowd rallies behind Salvador, as he works the hold like a lever, perhaps getting a little too lively with it as Caleb wriggles his way inch by inch toward the ropes, and is able to throw his other arm up blindly to collide with the middle rope.
There's no break, because there's no such rule, but Caleb DRAGS himself to his knees, forcing Salvation to an awkward angle. Rather than persist in a bad situation, Serenity relents and pulls away as Caleb remains on his knees, feigning heavy breathing. Salvation darts back toward him, looking to re-establish a hold, but Scott rises and turns in one savage motion, scooping the incoming opponent up and over for a massive spinebuster right into the corner post! Salvation's head collides unpleasantly with the turnbuckle, his body jerking and a dismayed yell going up from Sienna Wolf, who leaps up onto the apron-- and is immediately grabbed by the face and SHOVED back down by Scott.
Aiello: Caleb Scott looks intense tonight, and he's making it crystal clear he will not be disturbed as he seeks to chalk up another, critical win here on our season finale.
Bennett: Sienna Wolf needs to be more careful. This ain't her fight, and she don't want no part of it.
Salvation stumbles out of the corner, but walks right into Caleb Scott's hand, the painted face implacably ferocious as he yanks the larger man toward him, turns, and plants him with a massive uranage slam, remaining on his feet as he does so! GRIM DEATH! Scott raises an arm, garnering a cheer from his supporters in the New York crowd, and then drops a knee across the throat, grinding it in before he transitions out to an armbar of his own. Salvation looks to be in some trouble, but as the official asks for the submission there's a grisly snap as he dislocates his own arm, extricating himself in order to slam elbow after elbow into Scott's skull!
The crowd is here for violence, and as the competitors begin to deliver their heat intensifies. Salvation is gasping with adrenaline, as he pops his arm back into the socket with a warbling scream, then yanks Caleb Scott to his feet and rattles him with an uncharacteristic headbutt! Scott staggers, and the Paramount star pursues him, seizing him in a headlock and throwing a few strikes at his back, before hauling him up and directly onto the ring ropes! Scott hits gut-first, and then rebounds to the outside, falling head over heels with a terrible crunch!
Sienna Wolf is there to capitalize, driving her heels down into the fallen man, as Salvation shakes off the cobwebs and steps out onto the apron. Wolf retreats, but only to retrieve the doctor's cane, which she tosses up to him. Deftly catching it, he weighs it thoughtfully in his palm and then switches to a two-handed grip, leaping off to deck the rising Scott across the back, then tee off with a golf swing that lands with a meaty thwack! Scott is busted open, and sprawls out across the outside, crawling frantically to escape another strike.
Salvation continues to pursue, but he's out of his own wheelhouse; Scott has the awareness to draw him toward the ring steps, then swiftly double-leg him as he comes in, turning him around and driving the back of his skull into the unforgiving steel! He's not done there, hauling the doctor to his feet and then allll the way up, turning as he holds him in a vertical suplex position - and comes face-to-face with Sienna Wolf, who is scrambling to retrieve the cane and perhaps put it to use. Scott stamps down on it, and SNARLS at the woman, who backs off a few paces, arms up and face white, only able to watch as Scott starts to drop her man, but switches into a powerbomb at the last second!
Right onto the barrier separating them from the crowd! CEMETERY MOONLIGHT!
Wolf vaults the barricade and runs in to check on Salvation as he's bounced off into the front row, devastated by the combination of moves. Caleb Scott is eerie-calm, pacing a slow crescent as he watches this unfold, not electing to dive back in immediately.
Aiello: These are two methodical men, who like to pace themselves, but deliver their punishment in critically different ways. You have to think that the nature of this matchup favors the rugged brawler in Scott; he grew up like this, he breathes this.
Bennett: I mean, sure, that's true, but you gotta admit it's hard to breathe at all when you're tied up in knots. Salvation's shown he's willing to sink to this level - now he's just gotta work out how to guide them back to his way of gettin' it done.
Salvation is back on his feet, trying to find Caleb Scott through the chaos of the fans swarming him. Sienna Wolf clears a path back to the ring, and pulls him toward the lurking danger that is the Minnesotan madman. Scott is waiting, stretching out his neck and smiling a humorless smile as he steps forward to meet his opponent, who at the last instant changes from stumbling confusion to an intensity of his own, pushing Wolf toward Scott and then weaving around the side. To his credit, Caleb doesn't just deck the woman; he catches her with one hand around the throat, and shoves her away again, but is too late to stop Salvation, who drives a knee into his gut, then slips behind and pulls him smoothly into the lifting reverse DDT he calls MALPRACTICE! Showing he's got plenty of ring awareness of his own...
The former champ drive Scott's head down against the hard edge of the apron, ragdolling him on impact!
Salvation stumbles to his feet, and mutters an apology to his appalled wife, while simultaneously stalking the downed man, who rises right into a follow-up superkick that slumps him over the apron against the ring! Salvation is quick to bundle him back in, rolling Scott beneath the bottom rope and then leaping up to spring over the top-- and find an empty pool, as tough and seasoned Caleb is able to recover and roll aside. Salvador hits the canvas spine-first, and gets halfway to his feet with a rictus of pain, where he's immediately battered with a forearm and then launched off the opposite set of ropes, stagger-running into a VIOLENT clothesline from hell!
Caleb throws up his arms to a pop from the crowd, then rolls back out of the ring, aggressively ignoring an attempt by Sienna Wolf to distract him as he reaches beneath the ring and pulls out a stack of chairs and a table, tossing the former into the ring and then grabbing the latter-- just in time to block an attempted baseball slide by a ragged-looking Salvation! Scott swats at his legs, but Salvador retracts them and is then forced to scramble out of the way as the table swiftly follows him, hurled between the middle and top rope where it clatters onto the canvas. Salvation sets it up swiftly as Scott gets back into the ring, his back to the other man as he engages in his task...
Scott buys the fake-out, and walks right into a second HELLO NURSE superkick! Sienna Wolf applauds, and then tells Salvation to "put him the fuck away, now!" Scott straightens up into a chair swing, and sits right back down to avoid it, before rolling into the larger man with a scissor-leg takedown that sends the chair bouncing away. Salvation hits the mat, and Scott mounts up, raining down heavy blows before reaching for the chair and bringing it down once, twice, three times across the throat!
The good doctor needs a deal of his own attention, bloody and looking like he's been hung as he's pulled to his feet, Scott signaling to the crowd for the finish before setting it up, head between Salvation's legs, whipping him up onto his shoulders...
NO! Salvation wriggles free, diving over Caleb Scott's back to land on one knee, staggering up against the ropes and rebounding as a confused Scott begins to turn-- right into a spear to the midsection! He's sent hurtling back against the table, which skids across the ring but doesn't break, leaving Scott slumped against it as Salvador leapfrogs him, bounds off the table to land precariously on the top rope, getting an EXPLOSION of appreciation from the gathered throng as he manages to whip backwards into a moonsault that sends him crashing down across his opponent, both of them sent through the shattering table to a riotous din! Sienna Wolf is screaming, "Yes, yes, yes," on the outside!
They're both lying in the rubble, but Caleb Scott appears not to be moving, and Salvation THRASHES back into life, his bloodied face delirious as he twists his foe up into the FOXHOLE! The submission is in tight, and there's nowhere for Caleb to drag himself to that isn't covered in pieces of busted wood! Scott fights, and fights, his sections of the crowd firmly behind him, but the noise slowly being drowned out...
By the doctor's own believers, as in pained fury Scott relents, and begins to tap.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission ... SALVATION!
The hold is released immediately, Scott slumping in defeat as Salvador Serenity surges to his feet and immediately loses his footing, the punishment wrought taking its toll as he falls across the rope, the official marching over to raise his arm as Sienna Wolf leaps onto the apron and envelops him in a delighted hug. Salvation can barely stand, but wears a smile as the cheers break through the caterwaul of adrenaline that's encompassed him in the closing moments, the night ending on a beautiful, positive note as he celebrates.
Aiello: Salvation showed the mettle of a champion tonight, proving that he's among those who are the future backbone of this company. He stepped out of his comfort zone and met a man who was very much in his own; Caleb Scott, whose warpath has been halted here tonight.
Bennett: You win some, you lose some, and that spooky bastard's taken plenty of licks this season. He'll be back for more. Meanwhile, the doctor is IN, and not just with that doll-faced thing at ringside!
Aiello: Steve, before we move on to Jordan Sharpe taking on Dio, let's go back for a minute to last Brawl and talk about someone who's not here tonight and why he's not here.
Bennett: You're talking about Zack Tyler.
Aiello: Right, now those of you watching, I warn you that what you're going to see is the ending moments between Caleb Scott and Zack Tyler.
Bennett: You're right and you said it that night that Zack was being tortured. I said it was sick and it was and we're going to watch it?
Aiello: That's what I'm told so let's go back and take a look.
The camera cuts to a replay from Monday Night Brawl #590 in Bocaue, Philippians and the final moments of the Zack Tyler/Caleb Scott match.

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... CALEB SCOTT!
The scene fades as the camera cuts to ringside where Steve Bennett and Joe Aiello are seen.
Bennett: Joe, what we're about to see is what was shown on our monitors after Zack Tyler went through the curtain backstage.
A [:35] video is shown of Zack being placed into an ambulance. The commentary team speak as the video plays.
Aiello: Steve, looking back at this, I seriously thought we were going to see someone die in front of us.
Bennett: I can't say I don't blame you but I have good news that Zack is still with us and let me just read off what I'm told what injuries he sustained...cuts, lesions, and scrapes...a hairline fracture of the right shoulder blade...bruised joints and ribs...a broken clavicle...hyperextension of the lower back...and a possible concussion!
Aiello: Geez! Is that it?
Bennett: Not really, how about this...
A live video (via satellite) is shown on the large production screen in the arena as well as a side-by-side screen is seen on the television. The live audience applaud and cheer for Zack while there are mixed boos as well. Seen laying in a hospital bed with various machines around him, Zack is seen wearing a neck brace and some type of chest protection brace. Around one eye is bruised as are bandaged scrapes visible on his forehead and face.
Bennett: Zack, Steve here, let me first ask you how are you? We see the bruises and the outcome from the war you and Caleb had. What can you tell us the doctors are saying?
Zack Tyler: Steve, before I get to what the doctors are saying, I want to address what happened on Brawl and that the fight between me and Caleb was just that, between me and Caleb. I don’t hold EWC reliable for what happened because it needed to happen. Putting my body on the line is what I’ve always done and every time I’ve bounced back but this time is different. Caleb went further than I thought he’d go and because of that, the doctors tell me that they don’t know when I’ll be back to wrestle. I went back and watched the match and I could see it in Caleb’s eyes. He wasn’t the guy that he was when this first started.
Aiello: Zack, you don't know when you'll be back to wrestle?
An image appears on the screen then disappears.
Zack Tyler: Joe, listen, don't get me wrong I'm not giving up for anybody and I don't care what the doctors say and Caleb, I don’t give a damn what we said about this being over because you put me here. So when I get out, I’m not going to be finished with you until I put you in the ground for good. You probably ended my career because the doctor said the x-rays show I could have a broken back. So with that, EWC management has decided to put me on the shelf until the time comes that the doctors say I’m able to return to active competition.
Zack lets out a sigh before continuing.
Zack Tyler: Now does that piss me off? You’re damn right I’m fucking pissed but I can’t get upset because of doctors orders. Now what they told me is that I’m going to be here for a few weeks which means I’m missing the Season Finale tonight. For that you can thank Caleb.
Some boos can be heard from the crowd as Zack presses on.
Zack Tyler: Now am I pissed at Caleb for what he did? I’m pissed that what he did made it to where I can’t be in the ring for a while yeah, but he did the same thing I would’ve done. Now this doesn’t mean I’m done but whoever’s next…I promise you that you will be”.
Bennett: Zack, thanks for the update and we can't wait for you to get back here.
Aiello: Wait, something's not adding up. Zack, we saw you and Caleb together at Youngblood, what's going on th--
Zack waves bye before Joe can finish the question, and the camera fades to a black screen as the television screen returns to one screen from the split screen.
Aiello: I have to say this situation between Caleb Scott and Zack Tyler seems to have taken a turn. We know Zack's still out with injury, but are these two friends or enemies? I guess we'll find out soon enough!
We move to a commercial break.
Jordan Sharpe, pacing back and forth in his locker room, shakes his head.
JFS: What the hell is taking her so long? She has to talk to literally everyone doesn’t she? If I go check on her she’s going to be mad and say I’m babying her or something.
He paces a few more times.
JFS: Fuck this, I got a bad feeling.
He pushes his way out his locker room door and starts pushing through various backstage people and wrestlers as he looks down corridors and rooms looking for Carley.
JFS: Have you seen Carley? Anyone? She was heading for the parking lot. Have you seen her?
People shake their heads or say no and Jordan becomes more frantic as he looks throughout the arena.
JFS: Where the fuck is she?
He’s heading to the back parking area as a producer comes up and grabs him.
Backstage guy: Where are you going? Your match is up next!
JFS: I gotta find my girlfriend. She’s been gone for a bit.
Backstage guy: She’s probably in the bathroom or waiting at the entrance way. Let’s go, we can’t delay the match we’re live here!
Jordan takes a long look in the direction of the parking lot.
JFS: Maybe you’re right. Okay …
He starts heading in the opposite direction towards ringside as we go to …

VS Dio
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: Well folks, it's been a wild night but now we're here, as Jordan Sharpe competes on BRAWL for his farewell tour as he takes on Dio!
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, residing in Seattle, Washington and weighing in at 205 pounds, he is your crux ... DIO!
The lights dim down, and a voice comes over the PA system.
”I am your Crux.”
The phrase kicks off the sounds of “Change (in the house of flies)” by the Deftones as Dio emerges from the curtain and stands atop the stage. He surveys the crowd, tugging at the collar of his leather jacket before heading down toward the ring.
Stroup: And the opponent, residing in New Brunswick, Canada and weighing in at 230 pounds ... JORDAN 'FREAKIN' SHARPE!
JFS comes through the curtain and heads down to the ring, giving high fives to some fans along the way and slides under the bottom rope.
DING DING DING
JFS lunges at Dio but Dio ducks and drops JFS to the mat with a clothesline. JFS gets back to his feet but Dio catches him with a chop that echoes through the arena. Dio follows up with a series of jabs, punches, forearms and kicks before a knee to the head drops him to the mat. JFS staggers to his feet. Dio whips him off the ropes and drives JFS to the mat with an uranage. Dio makes a cover.

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall JORDAN SHARPE!
JFS gets to his feet and leaps at the ropes and soaks in the cheers of the crowd. He climbs down and high fives the fans as he heads back up the ramp.
Aiello: A big win for Jordan Sharpe here on Brawl! He'll be hoping this match gives him some strong momentum for his big match on Prime this weekend.
Bennett: On the flip side, Dio didn't do a lot wrong here. If he takes some time out over the season break, there's no reason why he won't win championships next season!
Moments after his match, Jordan was still in the ring when the X-Tron flicks to life. No one is really sure what’s going on at first. Then we hear the voice.
—: Hey Jordan, are you missing something? Or how about someONE?
From the passenger seat of the moving vehicle, we can see a knocked out Carley, who has blood trickling down the side of her face. A moment later, Sour Candy is shown in the driver’s seat. Fans are booing at the sight of her.
Sour Candy: This all could’ve been avoided if you gave me what I want.
SC laughs wickedly as we get a shot of JFS going ballistic in the ring.
Sour Candy: Maybe you’ll change your mind by the time we reach Miami. See you for the Prime season finale!
With that, the feed cuts and we see static. Back at ringside, fans continue to boo as Jordan seems to be torn between rage and concern. He takes off running down the ramp to backstage.
Aiello: Did .. did Sour Candy just kidnap Carley California?! Someone call the police! Sour Candy has gone too far now in her quest to destroy Jordan Sharpe's life!
Bennett: She just said she was on her way to Miami to PRIME, I wouldn't want to be her when Jordan rolls up that son of a bitch is going to be angry!
Jordan is beside himself in anger as we move to a commercial break.
When we come back, we find Captain Morgan Darkwater already standing in the ring, alone, microphone in hand. His expression is a sombre one, piercing gaze staring out at the cheering fans as he patiently waits for them to die down before bringing the microphone to his lips.
Morgan Darkwater: It’s been quite a year fer th’ Captain, an’ that’s no lie. After makin’ a comeback many said would never happen, I thought I had e’erythin’ scoped out. I thought I had me goals firmly secured, a future title reign in sight, allies on me side… an’ then Mr Jim Connors had t’ remind me that things don’t move on as easily as one might like them to, that we must all answer t’ th’ repercussions of our past actions an’ misdeeds. So this Captain, he realised Jim an’ I got our issues we need t’ work through, an’ fer the foreseeable future I do just that, risin’ t’ each an’ e’ery challenge our gracious General Manager lays out before me, fer better or worse…
He pauses as chants of “YOU STILL GOT IT!” and “WE FORGIVE YOU!” ring throughout the arena, which he answers with a grateful smile. The Captain nods, stroking his beard thoughtfully, and chooses his next words carefully.
Morgan Darkwater: Ye see, I knew when I returned I’d have t’ answer fer me crimes one way or another, an’ I was more than willin’ t’ let Mr Connors put me through his crucible: test me resolve, see just how genuine this new and reformed Captain Dakrwater was, an’ more power t’ him. But then he brought out the Reavers - a gang o’ cutthroats an’ ruthless lowlifes th’ old me banded t’gether in me darkest times, th’ very same Reavers who had kidnapped an’ tortured th’ man th’ year prior, nay less - to attack me en masse, as if that were some grand gesture o’ grand justice? How, exactly? Sure, they may have answered to Connors that night, but before that they answered t’ me, let’s not forget; they be mercenaries, their loyalties can be bought, an’ so hardly a testament on kinship. Connors thought he really sent a message that night, but ye know what? All he did was show th’ Captain what real loyalty looks like, when none other than Mr Jojo Rush came t’ my aid…
Cheers and chants for Jojo swell throughout the arena, causing Morgan to smile broadly, nodding as he openly encourages the fans to shout the young talent’s praises. Only once the clamour has quietened down does he continue.
Morgan Darkwater: Aye, he be a good one, that man, ain’t got nothin’ but respect fer Mr Rush… which is why it saddened me deeply t’ see him resort t’ such needless violence after winnin’ his match at Youngblood. That weren’t necessary, he already had the victory secured beyond a shadow o’ a doubt in anyone’s mind, he had nothin’ else t’ prove t’ anyone that night, so why th’ assault? What drives a man as honourable an’ straight as Mr Jojo Rush to resort t’ such lowly tactics? I didn’t know fer sure, but I have my suspicions - have had ‘em for a while now - an’ that’s why I came out there that night, an’ tried t’ stop Rush before he did somethin’ he’d regret. Fer Captain Morgan Darkwater has walked down that dark an’ dangerous road, ladies an’ gentlemen, an’ he’d be damned before he let’s someone he respects stumble down it, too… An’ I wasn’t about t’ see Mr –
“COME HEAVY OR DON’T COME AT ALLLLLL!”
JoJo’s entrance music cuts Darkwater off in the middle of his promo, the big man slowly turning from addressing the fans and camera to watch.as JoJo steps out onto the stage. The Cowboy then raises a microphone and speaks into it.
JoJo: Darkwater, yer in New York. You’re gonna need to speak slowly for these city-slickers.
Morgan frowns as the crowd reacts to the cheap insult, JoJo gives them time to boo before continuing on.
JoJo: Darkwater, you know better than anybody about why Ah’m here. Why Ah step into this ring and risk mah hide day in and day out. Ah came to this company with one goal, and one goal only. To win the Undisputed Title…
JoJo pauses and walks from one side of the stage to the other, the Captain nodding in understanding on the X-Tron above him. .
JoJo: Darkwater, we share this dream. You know how– just how maddening of a dream it is. You can’t sleep at night if you didn’t give everything you had to get even just a step closer to the title. Ah know how much it hurt yer pride when you lost to the man who ended up becoming the new International Champion. Then you of all people, a man who has mentored me through my time in this sport should know why did what Ah did.
Morgan Darkwater: Why ye did what ye did? Rush, ye had already won! Ye were already one step closer t’ achievin’ yer goal - what ye did was nothin’ t’do with becomin’ champion.
JoJo: It had everything to do with becoming champion. Ah can’t believe you don’t get it, Darkwater. Moxie went into that match trying to slaughter me. He was willin’ to leave me bloody and broken. He was willin’ to see my dreams crushed just to get ahead. Difference between me and him is that Ah beat ‘em to the punch.
Morgan Darkwater: Ye think I don’t get it, lad? That I don’t understand how men like you an’ I have t’go that one step further, t’ prove we ain’t jokes, nor gimmicks, but th’ real deal? O’course I understand - maybe ye don’t understand that it be a fine line ‘tween doin’ what must be done t’ prove ourselves an’ pursue our dreams, an’ fallin’ to our demons, lettin’ our darker sides run wild an’ hurt e’eryone ‘round us… an’ that’s not a fate I want fer ye.
JoJo: And what kind of fate do you want for me, Darkwater? What do you really want? Tell the truth in front of everyone here in the Garden.--
JoJo then jabs a finger towards Darkwater, his eyes glaring right at the pirate.
JoJo: If it came down to a fight between you n’ me fer the greatest prize in this company, would you hold back? Or would you do anything you had to do in order to finally hold that prize high over yer head and sail off into the sunset? Ah ain’t ever lied to you, don’t you dare try an’ lie to me, Darkwater.
The Captain regards the Cowboy carefully, eyes burning with a passionate fire as the scenario plays out in his mind. He doesn’t speak for a few moments, then raises his microphone as he takes a deep breath.
Morgan Darkwater: I think ye, myself, an’ e’eryone in this buildin’ knows exactly how that would go down, Rush. Anyone who knows either of us know we be of same mind when it comes to chasin’ th’ gold in this company. So aye, I would do anything I had t’do t’be th’ victor in such a hypothetical match… emphasis on had to do, Rush. Again, ye seem t’be confusin’ what has t’be done, with what ye choose t’do. Ye don’t have t’ assault yer already beaten opponents - ye choose t’do that. Once that final bell rings, that be it. Yer done yer job, ye did what it took to win. Anything else is just… needless.
JoJo shakes his head at the response he then shoots back, filled with emotion.
JoJo: Just like when you chose to dump me on mah rear end in our debut at Brawl? Or the time you chose to give up on us at Parabellum, costing us a shot at championship gold? Or how about the time you chose to try and paralyze me in Hamar after Ah made the choice to put a foolish thing like sportsmanship ahead of mah career?
Morgan Darkwater: Now hold on a second there, Rush, ye don’t need to dredge up th’ past t’ try an’ justify yer present actions, nay good e’er comes o’ that. But if ye wanna go down that road, then so be it - I gave both ye an’ Mr Kreel fair warnin’ goin’ into that first match, warnin’ that this Captain was returnin’ with all cannons firin’, an’ I made good on me word. Ye know when ye step in this ring that ye do nothin’ but yer absolute best, or don’t e’en bother… I may have been a bit o’erzealous in that match, an’ if ye feel it were at yer expense, or that I made an’ example o’ ye, then ye should’ve said somethin’ far sooner. Same goes fer Parabellum, lad. We poured blood, sweat an’ tears into that damned match, Rush, an’ though we didn’t come away the victors doesn’t mean we didn’t have a thing t’be proud of… and as fer Hamar, all I can say is that Eli’s Uppercut o’ yers in nay joke, lad: I was too addled t’ e’en notice the match had ended, much less reversed by your act o’ sportsmanship… all I knew is by th’ time I’d gotten back t’ me feet, th’ match was still on, an’ I had to pull an’ ace fast, or my number was up. I acted on instinct, lad, but that Anchor Drop was ne’er meant t’ try an paralyse ye, I’d ne’er be that heartless!
JoJo sighes disappointedly.
JoJo: Ah don’t believe you, Darkwater. Hell, Ah don’t think we’ll ever find a common understandin’ usin our words–
JoJo descends the ramp towards the ring in a slow walk, throwing off his duster along the way, JoJo is getting ready for a fight which pops the crowd into a frenzy.
Morgan sees him coming and narrows his eyes, taking a step towards him and placing a firm hand on the top rope.
Morgan Darkwater: Now Rush, just take a second an’ think ‘bout what ye be doin’ - th’ Cap’n is always ready fer a fight, but neither o’ us really want t’be doin’ somethin’ we’ll regret. Ye step in this ring with that look on yer face, all bets be off, an’ I can guarantee I won’t be holdin’ nothin’ back this –
The Captain is cut off abruptly by a clubbing forearm across the back of his head as a Reaver barrels into view, backed-up by two more! Morgan staggers forwards, hits the ropes, and is pinned there as all three Reavers proceed to lay into him with a flurry of fists into his kidneys and the back of his head. But the giant of a man doesn’t go down until one of the Reavers drives an aluminium baseball back into the back of his knees, Darkwater letting out a ragged bellow of agony as he falls to his knees before being dragged back to the centre of the ring where his assailants continue to lay into him with bats and boots.
JoJo is surprised by the appearance of the Reavers. He throws his microphone over his shoulder and initially starts running towards the ring. But just before reaching ringside, JoJo pauses.
Aiello: What on Earth are you waiting for, JoJo get in there!
Bennett: I think the Cowboy has a different idea in mind!
JoJo stops in his tracks, then turns his back and walks back towards the locker room. Leaving Morgan behind to his fate and to a torrent of boos. The Reavers don’t seem to even acknowledge his approach, much less his exit, their attack on Morgan not letting up until Security start charging the ring, at which point they scurry over the barricades and get lost in the crowds.
Aiello: What a cowardly assault by the Reavers, no doubt still in the employ of Connors! Worse than that, Jojo Rush turned his back on the Captain!
Bennett: How is that worse? Morgan said it himself, in this business you do what you gotta do to succeed, no more, no less… and it clearly wasn’t going to help Rush’s championship prospects to save Morgan! Jojo did nothing wrong. If Darkwater wants to interfere in the Cowboy’s business, that’s his prerogative - Rush is under no obligation to do the same!
Aiello: I can’t believe you sometimes… Well, hopefully Darkwater isn’t seriously injured. We’ll be right back, folks!
A FALL BRAWL REMATCH!

VS Gabrielle Visconty
SINGLES MATCH
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Alex "Bullet" Carbajal
VS Gabrielle Visconty
With Rush and Darkwater having left the ringside area at this point, we cut to Joe Aiello and Steve “The Predator” Bennett sitting behind the announcers table.
Aiello: Welcome back! Up next we have Alex ‘Bullet’ Carbajal looking to reclaim her FX Title that she lost to Gabrielle Visconty at the last Brawl. Steve, how are you leaning this match?
Bennett: You know, I think Gabi will choke again on her first attempt to hold on to the title and continue her ability to not hold on to a title. Three times she’s failed to make it through defense number one, and very fired up Alex is going to be out to pry that FX title off of Gabi and back around her waist.
Stroup: The following match is for the FX Broadcast title. Joining us first, from NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, weighing in at 135 pounds ... ALEX “BULLET” CARBAJAL!
The lights dim and the Shieldmaidens motto “Hell is empty and the Maidens are here!” comes over the Tron as guitar stabs ring out. Concrete Blonde’s “God Is A Bullet” starts up in earnest and Alex “Bullet” Carbajal makes her way out in a full length boxing robe, ready for war. She makes her way to the ring and Bullet steps in, starting to shadowbox the second she steps in. She raises her hands into the air and then nods, ready to go.
Stroup: And her opponent, the current FX Broadcast Champion, from HONOLULU, HAWAII, weighing in at 120 pounds.. GABRIELLE VISCONTY!
The lights in the arena dim and slowly pulse to the opening violin chords of "Shut Down" by BLACKPINK come through the sound system. As the beat hits, Gabi Vee walks out to the entrance ramp and grins out at the crowd. She stops at the top of the ramp to point at the FX title around her waist as the crowd cheers. She smiles as she looks over the crowd before Buddy Love walks out to join her. They start heading down the ramp and towards the ring as Gabi interacts excitedly with the fans before she hops up on the side of the ring. She smirks out to the crowd before she removes the FX title from around her waist and hands it off to Buddy. Buddy walks around to her corner before she dive rolls over the top rope gracefully into the ring.
DING DING DING
The two meet immediately in the center of the ring and lock up. Gabi quickly slips to the side and applies a wrist lock, then drops a hard elbow into the back of Alex’s shoulder. Alex drops to a knee from the blow but returns fire with an elbow to Gai’s mid section that doubles her over. Gabi staggers back holding her gut as Alex gets to her feet. She follows Gabi in and catches her with a thrust kick to her back that sends Gabi chest first into the ropes. As Gabi recoils off the ropes Alex is there to catch her with a running elbow smash to the back of her head. Gabi goes down hard as Alex is quick to pull her back up to her feet. She shoves Gabi back against the ropes and unloads a hail of punches - Sweating Bullets!
Gabi has no choice but to cover up as Alex lands some huge shots. Gabi slips to the side but Alex cuts off the ring and traps her in the corner with more punches. Gabi finally slips a right punch from Alex and rolls away. She comes to her feet and Alex is quick to follow in, but walks right into a standing drop kick from Gabi that staggers her back. Gabi dashes in, slipping under a left hook from Alex, and then springboards off the middle rope to catch Alex with a satellite DDT. Gabi quickly goes for a Muta Lock but Alex slips a leg into the ropes as Gabi secures the hold. The Ref calls for the break and Gabi releases the hold cleanly.
Aiello: Good job by Gabi there on the break, after getting the advantage early on!
Bennett: Bullet looks like she might have a long night ahead if she wants to win that title back!
Gabi backs away quickly as Alex gets to her feet. The two share a brief staredown before Alex advances with her hands up. Gabi feints right and then slips left quickly but Alex stays with her and nearly takes her head off with a huge left that Gabi just manages to duck under. Gabi slips under and around Alex and lands a straight jacket suplex - Idjitbuster! Gabi bridges for the pin attempt as the Ref slides in for the count!
1 - Kickout quickly by Alex.
Gabi rolls away and grins as Alex gets to her feet. Alex feints a charge and Gabi over reacts, leading to a nasty roundhouse kick that staggers her. Alex follows it in with an elbow smash that pushes Gabi back to the ropes. She sends Gabi crashing to the mat with a sharp headbutt - Cabacera! Alex covers Gabi for the pin attempt!
1…
2 - Kickout by Gabi. Gabi rolls outside of the ring and checks her forehead for blood as Alex slaps the mat in frustration.
Aiello: Gabi narrowly avoiding a loss here, and Bullet is not thrilled about it!
Bennett: Can't say I blame her Joe, she's gotta dig in deep to put the champ away here!
The Ref begins the count as Buddy quickly checks on his client. Alex stands by the ropes and keeps a close eye on what is going on between the two. Buddy pats Gabi on the back and she climbs up on the side of the ring. She smiles mischievously at Alex, trying to goad her into attacking, but Alex refuses to take the bait and motions for Gabi to ‘come on’. Gabi springboards into the ring as Alex gives her plenty of space. The two move in on each other cautiously, only for Gabi to dash in with a jumping knee attack that Alex side steps.
She flattens Gabi with a hook kick and then drops on Gabi and goes for an Anaconda Vice that Gabi slips out of before it can be locked in. Gabi and Alex scramble to their feet but Gabi is a bit faster, catching Alex square with a step up enziguri. Gabi is back up in a flash and pulls Alex back up to her feet to hit a European Uppercut that staggers Alex to the ropes. Gabi drives a knee to her mid section and as Alex staggers out from the ropes, Gabi hits a springboard backstabber. Gabi back up to her feet and climbs the ropes. She gets to the top and waits for Alex to get to her feet - Angelrana! Gabi holds on for the pin!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner AND STILL FX Broadcast Champion... GABRIELLE VISCONTY!
The Ref hands Gabi the FX title and she holds it high in the air. Alex rolls out of the ring and shakes her head in disappointment before heading to the back. Buddy slides into the ring and Raises Gabi’s arm in the air as they celebrate her victory.
Aiello: What an amazing match out of these two Brawl Superstars! Alex put up one hell of a fight in her attempts to regain the FX Title, but it was Gabi just managing to pull it out in the end, breaking her so called one-and-done curse.
Bennett: I am sure Alex will be back in the hunt for the FX title next season. She doesn’t seem like the kind of person to walk away without looking for a little payback. But for now, Gabi will head into WrestleFest to face the victor of tonight’s Main Event!
Aiello: And what a match that will be, but up next we have what could be a brutal affair as Xavier Reid takes on Stitches in non-title action as he tries to get another win over the International Champion! Don't go away, folks!
Camera cuts to ...
The camera cuts backstage inside the world famous arena, Madison Square Garden where we find Brawl’s Bob Murray standing outside The Love Club’s Locker Room.
Murray: Ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions of the World Xavier Reid and his manager ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love…
There is a mixed reaction, some of the traditional fans boo but those from New York cheer on their adopted son as the camera pulls back to show Xavier standing next to Bob Murray, with Tommy Love standing behind him.
Murray: Tonight, at the Season Finale of Brawl here in Madison Square Garden…
But Before Bob can continue Xavier reaches out and covers the microphone with his hand…cutting him off…he stops talking and after a second of two Xavier removes his hand and Bob moves the microphone closer to Xavier.
Reid: I make my final stand…
Xavier takes the EWC Tag Team Championship off his shoulder and hands it back to his manager Tommy Love, who puts it over his shoulder.
Reid: Tonight isn’t about me being a ‘Bastard’ or that tag team championship belt, it’s about the championship that rests on the shoulder of you Stitches…the EWC International Championship…a championship that I restored back to the prestigious championship it once was…restored it back to greatest after years of being held by ‘lesser’ wrestlers who did nothing but tarnish that championship…people like Clay Byrd, people like Iggy Swango…people like Darius and now…PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!
Xavier points into the camera.
Reid: You’re a fucking clown man…and I don’t mean because of the painted face and funny cloths…in the sense that you are a fucking joke…you want to stand there with a straight face and call me a ‘fraud’...funny, you were spotting that same shit on the eve of last years WrestleFest weren’t you…saying how I could’t go to your level in that Bed of Weapons match…that I wasn’t the PYCHOPATH you were and what happened…what happened Stitches…
Xavier smirks into the camera.
Reid: You took your best shot at me and it wasn’t good enough…I took those weapons and beat you into a bloody pulp…I showed everyone in the EWC that when things get crazy, when they get extreme…when all the rules and humanity are tossed aside that you Stitches can’t hold a candle to the craziness that is Xavier Reid…I showed this company that you were all talk…that you were in fact the ‘FRAUD” you claim me to be…
Xavier laughs as he shakes his head.
Reid: And I get it, that doesn’t sit well with you does it…it’s why you were so quick to try and paint me with that brush this time around…you want people to forget about WrestleFest…you want them to forget that Xavier Reid was in fact the PSYCHOPATH you claimed to be…and now walking around Brawl with that championship as if what…you are a star now…but here’s the thing ‘champ’...that championship can’t erase the fact that you are a sub .500 man that was HANDED a shot at that championship you now call yours…you want to claim I’m ‘good but not good enough’...that’s funny, it’s almost like you are accusing me of being well…YOU…
Tommy smirks as he leans in.
Love: The lady doth protest too much, methinks…
Reid: Yes he does Tommy, it’s the classic ‘accuse your opponent of your own shortcomings’ in hopes the people don’t see the person you are talking about is in fact you…Stitches has fallen that far and I can see that…he’s desperate…
Xavier smirks for a second.
Reid: But so am I…
The smirk quickly disappears from Xavier’s face, replaced with a icy cold stare into the camera.
Reid: This is my final stand, my chance to make what is it…
Love: ‘Make a statement to close the season’...
Reid: As if beating Flip weeks before you did wasn’t a ‘statement’ enough to get me a championship match then I guess I’ll have to beat the champion again and force Jim Connors to recognize the fact that when it comes to the International Championship my name isn’t only plastered all over the record books it SHOULD be the name on the contract at WrestleFest…
Xavier looks dead into the camera.
Reid: You robbed me once of what was mine…do not make that mistake again Jimbo…this time last year Stitches used a late season win to earn himself a championship match and now I look to return the favor here on the Season Finale of Brawl…where I am a perfect 4-0 on the close out show…I’ve beaten the X-Division Champion on a parking lot, whipped Kendrick Kross’s ass all over an arena…teamed with Sam to take out a President and the International Champion and just last year beat the Undisputed and Tag Team Championship himself Ace King…and now I get you Stitches…and a chance to show you just why I am the two time Brawl Wrestler of the Year…I’m going to show the EWC once again when it comes to you and me…you aren’t in my league…shine up that championship because I’m coming for what’s mine…
Xavier smirks as he walks off camera followed by his manager Tommy Loveas as we move to a commercial break.
We once again spot the well-dressed King as cameras cut backstage. He and his manager, Chanel, are walking the halls. In his hands are a few bouquets of flowers. He passes the door marked 'Iggy Swango' and drops a bouquet of yellow roses with a big placard that reads 'Good luck, beautiful - Dio' as the camera pans in for a moment to read it. The cameraman gets back into position quickly to continue following the King. We watch as he walks for nearly a minute. Finally, he reaches a door that reads 'Dio' and drops the second bouquet. These roses are red and their placard reads 'Do it for the Dong - Iggy' as the camera pans in once again. Flip smiles to himself for a second after that one, firing a wink and a thumbs up as the fans give a bemused mixed reaction. They outright laugh as he farts while walking past a door that reads 'Jordan Sharpe' before finally reaching his destination.
The door reads 'General Manager - Jim Connors' and the fans are amped for whatever's about to happen.
Chanel: You sure this is the move?
King Flip: Well, honestly, no. But that's life.
Flip doesn't even knock, he just storms into the office. Connors is knee deep in paperwork and doesn't look particularly excited to see the former International champion. He's about to say something but Flip cuts him off.
King Flip: We, uh... we need to talk, boss.
Chanel unzips the duffel bag and procures something from it out of view of the camera. Jim looks to it and is nothing short of confused.
Jim Connors: Is that...?
King Flip: That's exactly what you think it is. And that's exactly what I've come here to discuss with you. One moment.
Flip throws up a single finger before turning back to the camera watching all this from the hallway. He blows a kiss and waves as he slowly closes the General Manager's door. The scene fades as muffled voices continue whatever conversation they're about to have.
MAKING A STATEMENT TO CLOSE THE SEASON!
SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE
Xavier Reid
VS Stitches
SINGLES MATCH, NON-TITLE
Xavier Reid
VS Stitches
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: Up next we have Xavier Reid taking on Stitches, a non-title match that Reid would have you believe means he should earn a title shot down the line!
Bennett: It's gonna be a painful night for both men, but if Reid pulls off the win it'll all be worth it!
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall! Introducing first...
The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out. Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his new black trunk, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape and from behind him ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks out. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy walks out from behind him and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’.
Stroup: Being accompanied to the ring by 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love, from New York, weighing in at 220 pounds ... XAVIER REID!
Tommy points to the ring and Xavier walks towards the ring shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the ring, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy pulls out some money and tries to bribe the official who walks away as Tommy laughs. Xavier jumps down and squats down in the corner waiting for the bell.
Stroup: And the opponent, residing in The Carnival of Shattered Dreams and weighing in at 260 pounds ... STITCHES!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide. Stitches enters the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
DING DING DING
Stitches runs at Reid for a Lethal Lariat but Reid manages to duck it. Stitches still manages to knock Reid down with a clothesline though. Stitches grabs Reid's arm and twists it to the point that it bends Reid in half. Stitches grabs Reid and throws him back with a Russian legsweep. Reid grabs at his shoulder but Stitches puts a foot on Reid's wrist. Stitches stomps on Reid's arm three times before hitting it with a ledrop. Reid rolls round the ring clutching his shoulder. Stitches grabs it and drags him to his feet. Stitches wraps Reid's arm in an arm wrigner and climbs the turnbuckles. He walks across the ropes and leaps for a Flying Wallenda bringing his elbow down on Reid's shoulder. Again Reaid grabs at his shoulder before Stitches pops him into the air and brings Reid down with a Samoan drop. He makes a cover.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Reid is forced to raise the injured shoulder to break the count. He clutches it in pain again as Stitches drags him to his feet. Stitches runs off the rope, but Reid spins him with a Rainham maker. Reid runs of the ropes and kicks Stitches hard in the chest. Stitches gets to his feet clutching his chest. Reid slaps Stitches across the face. This angers Stitches and he runs at Reid only to be scooped up by him. Reid holds him for a tombstone but drops hitting Stitches with a codebreaker. Reid rolls over and hooks the leg.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Stitches lifts a shoulder off the mat to break the count.
Aiello: Smart wrestling there from Xavier Reid. He goes from almost losing to adapting his moves to counter the shoulder injury and he nearly won!
Bennett: How long can he protect that shoulder though?
Reid gets to his feet and runs at Stitches for a Running Punt Kick. Stitches moves at the last second and sends Reid crashing into the corner. Reid pulls himself to his feet as Stitches runs at him smashing through Reid with a Beautiful Disasterpiece. He makes a cover.

Reid rolls to his front breaking the count. Reid manages to pull himself to his feet and he runs at Stitches. He finally cracks Stitches with a Running Punt Kick. He makes the cover.

THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Stitches foot on the bottom rope breaks the count.
Aiello: Out of almost nowhere with that kick.
Bennett: The rope may have saved Stitches there.
Reid lifts Stitches to his feet and up onto his shoulders. Reid prepares to drop him with an Xplode but Stitches slips out and drives Reid into the mat head and shoulder first with a Sound Of Silence. He holds Reid for a moment or two in a grapevine before releasing him. Reid flops to the mat as Stitches covers.

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall STITCHES!
Stitches climbs to the second ropes and throws his arms out wide. He climbs down and rolls through the ropes to the floor before slowly and methodically walking back up the ramp.
Aiello: We wondered how he was going to get into the match and THAT is how you do it. He got one opportunity, and he took it
Bennett: Exactly. Despite the early injury, Reid got back into the match, nearly won and didn't give a lot of opportunity to Stitches.
Aiello: Folks, up next is our main event! Iggy Swango, Chelsea Skye, and Melinda Rhodes face off...and one of them will face Gabi Vee at WrestleFest for the FX Broadcast Championship! Don't go away!
Camera cuts to ...
We cut to the office of BRAWL General Manager Jim Connors, smiling as he looks over the results of the General Manager general election.
Connors: A lead of sixty-nine votes means I am STILL the General Manager of Monday Night BRAWL...nice.
He lets out a sigh of relief when suddenly, there is a knock at the door. Connors opens it, revealing a stagehand with a slip of paper in his hand that he immediately gives to the GM. The stagehand steps back out as Jim reads out loud the contents of the paper, a stern message from some higher ups.
Connors: Attention Jim Connors...it's come to our attention that you have been acting out of your own self-interest the past few months, at the cost of the brand. We know all about your attempts to undermine the likes of Xavier Reid and King Flip with the EWC International Championship situation, and now this mess with JoJo Rush and Morgan Darkwater has left us no choice but to step in.
Jim lets out an audible gulp of air as he continues.
Connors: At our twentieth WrestleFest event, King Flip WILL be getting his rematch for the EWC International Championship against Stitches...but he will be joined by Captain Morgan Darkwater, the rightful number one contender, and Xavier Reid, a man who by all rights deserves to be on the biggest show of the year for the biggest prize on the red brand.
The crowd gives a big pop for this announcement, but Jim pays it no mind as he continues reading.
Connors: And since we cannot trust you to run the flagship show of the EWC without trying to play favorites, we are launching a full investigation starting tomorrow night, at which point you will be suspended without pay until said investigation is concluded.
This manages to get almost a bigger pop, much to Jim's chagrin as he shakes his head. He folds the paper up, returning to his desk as he begins scribbling something down on a notepad...and as we get a closer look, we see what it is.
Connors: My final act as Brawl GM, for the time being.
Written on the notepad?

We return to ringside where Joe Aiello and Steve “The Predator” Bennett are sitting.
Aiello: It’s here! The final Main Event of the 2022 season, and what a match we have in store! We have Iggy Swango, Chelsea Skye and ex-Fx Champion Melina Rhodes set to face off with the winner going on to face the FX Champion at WrestleFest!
Bennett: This is going to be a tough one to call, but I am putting my money on Iggy! Iggy has been in these high stress matches having already been the International Champion as well as Tag Team Champion. Plus.
Aiello: You can’t look past Melinda Rhodes. She has most of the records associated with the FX title. Not to mention Chelsea Skye has been starting to get her feet under her here in the EWC! I seriously expected you to pick Chelsea Skye.
Bennett: I can’t believe you’d think I was that shallow, Joe… But I might have seen a video or two.
Aiello: There is the Steve I know. Well, we are about to find out who will be heading to WrestleFest, Jessica is in the ring.
Stroup: The following match is a Triple Threat match. Joining us first, from THE DREAMATORIUM, weighing in at 156 pounds ... IGGY SWANGO!
The guitar strums of "Moonage Daydream" echo through the arena as the lights dim low. Strobe lights begin to flash on stage. Soon, Iggy Swango walks from behind the curtain as smog engulfs her. She pauses, adjusts her sun glasses, before making her way down the ramp. Its a slow deliberate walk, as she is clearly vibing to the music. After entering the ring, She looks up to the ceiling, and throws her hands up in a classic rock and roll pose. Iggy starts bouncing on the stage and rocking out with an air bass playing along with the music before making her way down the ramp. Iggy rolls under the bottom rope and pops up on her knees in the middle of the ring. She slowly stands her to her feet before raising her hands into the air once more.
Stroup: And out next, from CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, weighing in at 123 pounds ... CHELSEA SKYE!
The fast guitar riff for “Reborn Through Failure” hits the speakers and once the vocals kick in Chelsea makes her way out onto the entrance ramp ready for battle. Chelsea makes her way down to the ring slapping hands with the occasional fan along the way, she enters the ring and runs the ropes as she waits for her opponent.
Stroup: And out next, from ROME, GEORGIA, weighing in at 145 pounds ... ”THE REBEL STAR” MELINDA RHODES!
The lights drop to a dim blue only to brighten to a bright red as "The Steeple" by Halestorm plays over the P/A speakers. With a pyro explosion, the Rebel bounds from the curtains and onto that stage with a wicked grin. She sports her ring gear, a red leather vest with her winged star logo, aviator shades, and fingerless gloves. Mel strides down the aisle, taking her time and rocking with the fans in attendance.
She's high-fiving fans, giving hugs to kids, and one lucky fan's child ends up with a parting gift, her chrome aviator shades getting placed right on the kid's face. After making the rounds at ringside, pumping up the front row fans, Rhodes slides under the ropes, pops up and runs up to the far turnbuckle, throwing a three fingered salute while headbanging to her music.
She then turns and runs to the opposite side, arms out at her sides as she shouts "COME ON!!!!" to the fans, working them up just a little bit more. She then hops down, pulls the vest off and tosses it down, crouching low in her corner and waiting...
Aiello: All three competitors are in the ring. Here we go!
DING DING DING
Before the bell can even stop ringing, Skye dashes across the ring and spears Rhodes as she and Swango where having a stare off. Swango charges in and plasters Skye with a running knee strike. Swango stomps on Skye’s head as Rhodes gets to her feet. Rhodes grabs Swango and spins her around and into a kick to the gut. Swango doubles over and Rhodes power bombs Swango right on top of Skye!
