WrestleFest is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event, produced annually in December/January by the Extreme Wrestling Corporation (EWC) The event was first produced in 1998, since then, 12 editions of WrestleFest have been produced thus far, with WrestleFest 13 to be held in 2015. The products of the EWC's television shows are tailored to reach their climax at WrestleFest, which sees contests for the company's championship titles, specialty and gimmick matches. Participation in a WrestleFest match, and especially the main event, is considered by many wrestlers and fans alike as one of the greatest achievements and symbols of professional success. While most WrestleFests have been held in sports arenas in major cities, a number of them have been held in large stadiums. The format of WrestleFest is built upon the main event matches for the EWC Championship and more recently also for the World Heavyweight Championship. A select number of other championship titles are also contested, while there are several gimmick matches, submission matches, ultimate submission matches and personal feud matches on the card

Fireworks emit while a fog machine covers the lower decks of the stadium in a red haze! Fans stand up, pumping their fists and raising signs as the camera feed pans to each one of them. One last round of fireworks blast out now, and we turn our attention to Wrestling Hall of Fame member and retired EWC Legend.. Mystery Man
Mystery Man: That's right Colin. We have had so much build up for this moment, and it all comes to a head here in Italy. I'm sure even the Pope himself is in attendance, which is good for many of our stars who are probablysaying a few prayers here tonight and hoping for a win.
Colin Hanks: I saw Xplode backstage a few moments ago, that guy looks massive tonight. I mean, honestly. The guy is jacked. He scares the shit out of me sometimes.
Mystery Man: The Main Event has been talked about and hyped for well over a month. Xplode is determined to win here tonight, but Brett Black is one of the fastest rising stars in the EWC and was runner up to the Rumble in the Bronx 30 man Battle Royal. Xplode is looking to retain as EWC Champion and fully cement his legacy, while the challenger is out for blood.
Colin Hanks: I spoke with Mark Storm and Shadow Man earlier today as we were all arriving. Both those guys are focused. More focused than I've ever seen them. Mark is positive he will retain while Shadow is confident he will be the new champ
Mystery Man: Those two are set to put on an epic show indeed. How about this United States Championship match? Silver, Hawkins, LDK, Metal Black ... all in the ring at the same time. This match has been hyped, and hyped and hyped for a long long time. All four of them are absolutely deserving of the belt. Griffin might be the best TV Champ we've ever had. LDK is long over-due for a title and Metal Black is the Queen of the Cage. My goodness. What a match.
Colin Hanks: Ruthless Aggression and Gabe Martin are teaming up tonight against the newly formed Anarchy 16 tag team which looks scary as all hell with Kash and Wolfe together. They could be the next big thing here in the EWC
Mystery Man: Don't forget we have the FSW Championship on the line. Atlas is hungry like the Wolf and Double X is not looking to give up his shiny new belt any time soon. I expect them to deliver the goods a plenty here tonight and show everyone that FSW can hang with the big boys of BRAWL and RAMPAGE
Colin Hanks: Then you have Grime & Corey-X putting it all on the line. Two of our newest members in a career match. Mac is pissed about it, but it's signed and set to happen here tonight
Mystery Man: Metal Black will be pulling double duty here tonight, or as we like to call it .. Pulling a Shadow Man. King Flip will be battling her for the vacated International Championship. You have to imagine he will be rusty coming in tonight, and Metal is red hot. I think Metal Black will be a force once again tonight. So much going on tonight and we are about ready to start our first match. But first, here is a message from Joe Aiello, head commentator on Monday Night Brawl
Mystery Man: First off, lets take a quick look back at the Free-View Battle Royal that occurred earlier tonight. It was an epic battle between 13 Superstars looking to book a ticket to Hardcore Revolution on Feb 28th 2016 and battle for the International or United States Championship belts

Johnny Bone Crusher
Emma Louise
Alexis Morrison
Kruzer
Flash Davis
Corey X
Stefan Raab
Markus Lord Raab
Lucy Middley
Sway
Kamikaze
John Blade
Rick O'Shea
Mystery Man: …and the action was nonstop. Rick O’Shea and John Blade were the first two men out of the match, eliminated by two thunderous chokeslams by the Raab brothers.
Next eliminated was Sway, knocked out by the debuting Flash Davis. Corey X was taken out next by Kruser, who was then taken out himself by Flash. Emma Louise was the next to fall to Johnny Bonecrusher. She didn’t like that too much, and hopped back up on the apron and slapped Johnny, distracting him enough to be eliminated by Alexis.
Flash and Kamikaze tried to team up to get rid of Markus, but Stefan tossed them aside to do battle with his brother. They went hard at it, crashing blows between the two. Stefan got his brother up over the ropes, but only to the apron, when Flash and Kamikaze took one more run at it, and finally take out Stefan.
Markus gets up and tosses Flash out by surprise, and we come down to the final four:
Markus
Kamikaze
Alexis
Lucy
Markus immediately goes after Kamikaze, but Kamikaze comes back just as hard, but Markus gets the upper hand, and finally eliminates him. Lucy and Alexis are across from them, dueling it out until Alexis manages to catch Lucy on the turnbuckle and kicks her off it to the floor.
Kamikaze meanwhile has grabbed a chair, runs the apron and smacks Markus square in the head with it before he can get back in the ring, send him stumbling, and Alexis quickly moves in and kicks him to the floor!
Alexis Morrison wins the Battle Royal and books her ticket to Hardcore Revolution
Colin Hanks: It was a great match and speaking of great matches, lets move onto our first match of the night
SHOW OPENER
EXTREME RULES/STREET FIGHT CAREER MATCH
COREY-X
Vs
GRIME
Stroup: The following contest is an Extreme Rules Street Fight career match!
Mystery Man: Before Jessica announces our contestants we need to explain our first match of the night for Wrestle Fest XIII.
Hanks: Grime hasn’t done so well in the EWC since his arrival and in the King of the Cage Tournament only made it to round two. So, Grime left an open challenge for anyone who was willing to step up.
Mystery Man: It was Corey X that stepped up for the challenge and Grime has put his career on the line. One thing that baffles me is that Grime had the nerve to tell everyone that it was Mac that forced Grime to put his career on the line.
Hanks: Grime is a guy that loves to twist things around. But, tonight, his career is definitely on the line. If Grime wins, that doesn’t mean that Corey X’s career is over. This career match is only a career match for Grime.
Mystery Man: I guess there’s one good thing about two guys facing off that haven’t won a match in EWC to open the show. Make it interesting. Have something on the line and the possibility of Grime’s career being over makes this interesting.
Hanks: Let’s go to Jessica Stroup to introduce the match.
Stroup: Introducing first…residing in Norfolk, Virginia! He is the King of Extreme! Weighing in at 210 pounds and standing 6 feet 4 inches tall! He is…COOOOORRRRREEEEYYYYY X!!!
The lights suddenly go off as the only light in the arena is a spotlight that shines down on Patrick Stump of Fallout Boy. As the music starts the lights flash along with the beat of “Light em Up”. And after a bit during the intro, Corey X begins to walk out onto the stage as the guitar sound begins. The fans are cheering and as Corey X stands there and nods his head with the music for a few moments Patrick Stump walks over to stand next to him.
Mystery Man: What is this a rock concert or something? Are we going to have a match here or just some sort of grab ass show?
Corey X starts getting the fans into it as he goes from one side of the stage to the other. Patrick Stump going to the opposite side of the stage continues on and then Corey X begins to make his way to the ring.
Hanks: Guy just wants to have some fun with the fans, Man. Ease up.
Mystery Man: Well, I will say this. It is definitely a good entrance. But, you think this guy could get to the ring today?
Corey X continues to get into the fun with the fans as he makes his way to the ring. He keeps giving kids high fives. The fans are cheering and singing with the music for those who actually know the lyrics as Corey X gets up onto the ring apron and uses the ropes to hop over and land in the ring. The entire song plays out as Corey X continues to get the fans into it.
Mystery Man: Looking at my watch and we are exactly seven minutes into this thing before Grime has even made an entrance.
Hanks: Well, we did yap a bit before Jessica introduced the guy.
Mystery Man: Touche.
Jessica Stroup waits for the lights to return but they never do. Suddenly, the beginning of an unknown song in the Extreme Wrestling Corporation begins to play as you see a very faint light begin to shine from below the ring entrance stage.
Hanks: What’s going on here?
Mystery Man: We’re supposed to be having Grime coming out here.
Hanks: Wait, we have some action out there on the stage.
The camera shows on the stage as what appears to be a group of robed figures coming out onto the stage. Six spotlights come on revealing six figures in white robes standing on either side of the entrance ramp.
Hanks: What the—
Mystery Man: More theatrics?
As the white robed figures stand there, more robed figures walk out in red robes as red hued spotlights shine on them.
Mystery Man: This can only mean one thing.
Hanks: The Movement has arrived in EWC. And this could be a bad night for Corey X.
The red robed figures surround the ring staring up at Corey X. And a huge explosion sound hits the speakers as the spotlights go out.
Stroup: And his opponent!
Hanks: Wait Jessica knows when to announce Grime???
Mystery Man: I didn’t get a copy of the script damn it!
Stroup: From Kansas City, Missouri! Weighing in at 270 pounds and standing 6 feet 3 inches tall! He is the KING OF THE MOVEMENT!
At that moment the music of “The Black Ones” by Abdullah begins to play over the speakers as you hear the heavy guitar playing. It plays the same melody for nearly 30 seconds before Grime walks out onto the stage and blue spotlight shines down on him.
Stroup: GRRRRRIIIIIIIIME!!!
Grime is wearing a pair of stylish shades and a leather biker jacket with studs going from his shoulders down the sleeves. The robed figures appear to have their heads bowed in reverence as Grime makes his way down to the ring. The fans are in awe and only the music is heard. No boos. No cheers. Mystery Man and Hanks are both just watching as Grime makes his way to the ring. And as the lights come on you can see that the men in white and red robes are following behind Grime and as Grime climbs the steel steps to get into the ring, the lights are flickering. Grime takes off his shades and the robed figures enter the ring. They circle around Corey X and Grime as the two stand about five feet from each other. Corey X clearly isn’t happy with what’s going on.
Hanks: This could have just been a set up.
Mystery Man: That’s what this appears to be. Grime suckered Corey X in. The Movement has arrived in the EWC.
Grime holds his hands out and two robed figures pull his jacket off his shoulders. The lights flicker and go off completely. When they come back on, the robed figures are no longer anywhere to be seen and Corey X and Grime are left standing alone in the ring.
Mystery Man: Wow. What’s going to happen next? Grime is definitely playing games with Corey X here tonight.
Hanks: With just Corey X? I think he’s messing with all of us.
Mystery Man: Well, at least it looks like we’re going to finally begin our match here tonight. That’s a plus.
Hanks: Have you been looking at your watch the whole time, Mystery Man?
Mystery Man: That whole fiasco of entrances lasted us almost fifteen minutes. If it wasn’t for the concert and this entrance of Grime to start things out, I think people would be calling EWC for their money back.
Hanks: Well, I don’t think that they want to miss Wrestle Fest XIII.
Mystery Man: We could have done without the parade of robes.
Hanks: Look at the bright side, one of could be covered in a drink and the other without one.
Mystery Man: That’s true.
Grime and Corey X are still standing five feet away from each other and John Dean calls for the bell to start the match. Corey takes a step forward and extends his hand in a show of sportsmanship. Grime looks at it and then looks up at Corey with a smirk on his face.
Mystery Man: Corey X holding his hand out for Grime.
Hanks: Grime turns his back to Corey X!
The fans boo as Corey X gets pissed off and attacks Grime from behind with a running double knee to the back. Grime goes down hard and Corey X stays on him as he starts driving knee after knee into the small of Grime’s back. Corey grabs Grime’s legs and drags him out of the ring. He pulls Grime so that he lands face first on the floor.
Hanks: Grime turning his back to Corey’s handshake caused this for Grime here. Corey X is just vicious.
Mystery Man: Corey X is looking under the ring for a weapon.
Corey X takes out a steel chair. He raises it in the air as the fans cheer. Corey whacks Grime repeatedly with the chair on his legs and starts moving up Grime’s body with chair shot after chair shot until throwing the steel chair down on Grime’s head.
Mystery Man: Grime is in a bad way here early on in this match.
Hanks: Corey X is—
Mystery Man: Oh, no. Corey X is climbing up onto the barricade and balancing himself.
Corey X leaps off the barricade with a senton bomb on the chair.
Mystery Man: Grime has to be out of it! He just took a chair to the face from all of Corey X’s body weight added to it.
Corey X screams out as the fans continue to cheer him on. He grabs the steel chair and tosses it aside as he starts to pull Grime up to his feet. Holding the back of Grime’s head, Corey slams Grime onto the ring apron face first. Grime goes down on his knees. Corey keeps a hold of Grime by the hair and slams Grime face first into the steel steps next.
Hanks: Oh man!
Mystery Man: Grime is not going to be the same after this. If Grime is going to pull through, if he’s going to keep his contract with the EWC he’s got to dig deep down and pull something out of his ass to get back into this. It’s been all Corey X here tonight.
Corey X gives Grime a hard knee to the rib cage causing Grime to sprawl out onto his back. Corey goes back to search for something underneath the ring. He pulls out a sledge hammer and kendo stick. He tosses them aside and pulls out a garbage can. He’s not happy with that and pulls out a baseball bat. He holds the baseball bat up and the fans cheer. Holding both ends of the ball bat, Corey X moves over to Grime and drives the handle of the bat down to the gut of Grime. Grime rolls over onto his stomach in pain and Corey grabs the handle with both hands and whacks Grime with it.
Mystery Man: How is Grime going to come back from this?
Hanks: I don’t think he’s going to. This is a full assault on Grime and Corey X looks to put Grime out of wrestling permanently.
Corey X starts playing to the crowd and it allows for Grime to begin to slowly get to his feet. Corey sees this and picks up the kendo stick. He waits until Grime turns around before taking a swing.
Hanks: Grime catches it! He just caught the kendo stick with his hands and he rips it from Corey X’s clutches.
Mystery Man: Damn! Grime is fighting back! What heart! What determination!
Grime starts swinging at Corey with the kendo stick and seems to have some sort of talent with it. After a rapid strike combo to the sternum, both legs and back Grime finishes the attack with an overhead swing down on the top of Corey’s head. Corey slowly falls backward.
Mystery Man: That looked like it was is slow motion as Corey fell to the floor.
Hanks: That was an impressive series of swings from Grime.
Mystery Man: Impressive indeed. Grime’s got some experience with the kendo stick.
Grime drops the kendo stick and picks up the sledge hammer and rather than use the sledge hammer to knock Corey out, he takes the handle and chokes Corey X with it. He lets go after a few moments allowing Corey to recover and Corey X holds his throat. Grime tosses the sledge hammer down and the hammer lands right on Corey’s groin.
Mystery Man: That’s a new way to give a low blow, Collin.
Hanks: That’s gotta hurt.
Grime sees the garbage can and grabs it. He tosses it into the ring and grabs Corey by the hair and pulls the man to his feet. He rolls Corey back into the ring under the bottom rope and slides in after him. Corey holding his groin as he tries to get to his feet, Grime sets the garbage can so it’s wedged between the middle and top rope in the corner. He sets the bottom of the garbage can so that it’s braced against the ring post. He turns to Corey X only to receive a kick to the mid-section.
Mystery Man: And Corey X fighting back. This is back and forth chaos!
Hanks: This is a fight if I ever saw one!
Mystery Man: Corey grabs the back of Grime’s head and he’s running toward the garbage can that Grime set up in the corner!
Corey X tosses Grime so that he goes head first into the garbage can. Grime is bent at the waist as Corey X rolls out of the ring and grabs the kendo stick and rolls back into the ring as quick as he can. Grime is still stuck inside the garbage can and Corey measures him up. Takes a mocking baseball swing before he charges with the kendo stick and smacks Grime right across the ass with it.
Hanks: Haha! That’s a spanking! Corey X just used that Kendo Stick and spanked Grime on the ass with it.
Mystery Man: Grime’s going to have welts on his ass cheeks.
Grime slowly removes himself from the garbage can and holding his ass drops backward onto the mat. Corey raises the kendo stick high into the air before dropping it. Grime slowly reaches for the middle ropes nearby, but Corey won’t allow him to get to his feet on his own power and pulls him up. Corey whips Grime into the ropes, Grime bounces off. Grime ducks a clothesline and bounces off the other side.
Mystery Man: Spear! Grime hits Corey X with a spear!
Hanks: Grime goes for the cover!

Mystery Man: Corey X kicks out! Wow!
Hanks: Wow is right!
Grime smacks his hands together to argue with John Dean and Dean shows Grime two fingers and motions with his shoulder that Corey got it up just in time. Grime frustrated gets to his feet and kicks John Dean in the gut and delivers a spike DDT. The fans boo and Grime turns toward Corey who is starts to roll over and crawl to the ring ropes. Grime delivers a double axe handle on Corey and Corey goes back down. He rolls over and Grime grabs both his legs. Instead of a stomp to Corey’s mid-section, he stomps right down on Corey’s groin.
Hanks: Grime is a dirty cheat!
Mystery Man: John Dean is down. Grime using everything he can to pull out a victory here and secure his contract with EWC here tonight! There’s no disqualifications here, Colin. Anything goes. As much as we don’t approve of Grime’s actions here, Corey X answered his challenge and he’s in for a fight.
Grime continues to hold onto both of Corey’s legs and drives his knee down into Corey’s groin again. He lets go of Corey’s legs and the chants for Corey from the fans begin as Grime looks out to the crowd. He claps with them in unison and screams out to them.
Grime: Let’s go piss pumps!
Grime keeps clapping with them and they start booing him. Grime leans over in the corner across from the garbage can and just waits for Corey to get to his feet. With Corey’s back still turned, Grime goes over grabs him. Corey turns around swinging wildly, and Grime ducks. Grime begins unloading with punches to the head and stomach.
Hanks: Punches in bunches!
But, as Grime goes for the European uppercut, Corey X dodges it and gives Grime a stiff knee to groin. Corey grabs Grime by the hair and hooks his head and hits a running bulldog. Corey covers Grime.
Mystery Man: The ref is out and there is no one to count it!
Hanks: Oh, Corey realizes it! He looks over at John Dean and shakes his head. Corey’s even more frustrated now.
Corey gets to his feet and goes over to John Dean and tries to revive the referee as Grime is slowly getting to his feet and pulling himself up with the ropes. Corey revives the John Dean just enough so the guy can shake out the cob webs as he leans in the corner. Corey turns to only get a kick to the gut from Grime. Grime goes for a pile driver, but Corey reverses and throws Grime over with a back body drop instead. Grime hits hard, but is rolling onto a knee to get back up. Corey runs to the ropes, bounces off and delivers a low drop kick to the chest of Grime. Grime hits the mat.
Hanks: Grime’s laying out in the center of the ring here.
Corey grabs Grime’s legs and starts going for the sharpshooter.
Mystery Man: He’s going for it! He’s going to put Grime away! He’s—
Hanks: Grime blocks it! Grime won’t let Corey turn him over and Grime uses the power in his legs to whip Corey off him.
Both men start to get to their feet and as they do they are throwing punches as best they can. Neither man has much left. Grime’s punches are connecting harder and harder each time and are now rocking Corey. Corey stumbles on his feet and Grime kicks him in the gut. He locks Corey’s head. He hooks a single arm and sets Corey up for Grime Spectacular.
Hanks: This is it! If Grime hits this it’s all over!
Grime is ready to put Corey X away and claim his victory, but as he’s measuring Corey X up for the Grime Spectacular, his attention turns to three individuals coming down to the ring.
Mystery Man: Who the hell is that?
Hanks: I’m getting word from the back that the older man is none other than Grime’s former mentor and friend, Mark “Q-Ball” Simmons. But, no telling who that other guy is.
Mystery Man: And her?
Hanks: Beats me.
The three walk toward the ring and Grime is pissed. Simmons and the other man get into the ring. Grime and Mark Simmons are standing in the ring as their foreheads come together. They’re both muttering things to each other. Corey’s getting to his feet and at that moment Mark Simmons and Grime separate with a big smile on their face and the three men start moving toward Corey X.
Mystery Man: This is how Grime is going to keep his job? What a piece of shit!
Simmons drops down and rolls out under the bottom rope. He takes a chair out from under the ring and tosses it to the man he came to the ring with. The woman stays outside the ring as everything takes place.
Hanks: This looks like it could be real bad for Corey X.
Simmons grabs another chair and rather than toss it to Grime slides it to him under the ropes. As Grime goes to pick it up, the other man nails Grime with the chair in the back of the head. Simmons goes over to the announcer and takes the microphone. The woman just continues to look on. She seems to be torn at what is taking place. She looks at Grime with a little hatred mixed with love in her eyes.
Simmons: Corey! Pin the bastard!
Corey X doesn’t know what to make of this. He sees the man wielding the chair, his muscles rippling.
Mystery Man: Corey seems to be reluctant to pin Grime now!
Hanks: I don’t think Corey wants to win this way.
Simmons: Pin him, Corey! Or whether you like it or not, two careers will end tonight.
Corey drops down to his knees and pulls Grime away from the ropes. He covers Grime and pins him.
Simmons: Count it ref!
The ref starts the three-count and it’s slow.

Hanks: That’s it! That’s it for Grime! His career is ended here tonight! No thanks to Corey X! But, Grime’s own former mentor, a former friend…Mark Simmons and that man right there.
Stroup: Winner of this match as a result of a pin fall! Corey X!
As Corey X gets his arm raised and his music begins Mark Simmons isn’t done speaking.
Simmons: Corey X! I suggest you make haste and high tail it out of here. Otherwise, the man wielding that chair like a baseball bat is going to make use of that steel once more.
Simmons climbs the steel steps and enters the ring and Corey X is happy to leave the ring as Simmons and the man with the chair stand next to each other over Grime. The woman still looks on staring at Grime. Tears actually forming in her eyes as she stands there with her hands crossed awkwardly. Simmons drops to a knee and starts talking.
Simmons: Grime, you’ve crossed many lines that should have never been crossed in this industry. You came into EWC acting like you were some sort of…I don’t know. And, I don’t think any further words from me ought to ever be wasted on you, again. A while back, you were something, kid. Now…you’re nothing.
Simmons stands up and puts his hand on the young man’s shoulder he came to the ring with.
Simmons: Now, this man…he knows what respect is. He knows that respect is earned and not given. He knows what hard work is about. And, in 2016, when the Extreme Wrestling Corporation returns he will debut for the first time in a wrestling ring. And, when that happens, you will remember the name…Flash Davis.
Simmons drops the microphone and Flash Davis drops the chair on top of Grime and they leave the ring as “Remember the Name” by Fort Minor begins to play over the speakers. The woman wipes her eyes as she keeps looking back at Grime and the trio disappear behind the curtain.
Grime barges into Mac’s office and slams his fist on Mac’s desk.
Grime: Hey! Did you not see what happened out there? That should be a damn mulligan, Mac! You can’t expect me—
President Mac: Grime, you are the one who wanted to put your career on the line. You came out and said said any match against anyone that answered the challenge. Corey beat you tonight. According to your own rules and your own stipulation, effective immediately you no longer work for the Extreme Wrestling Corporation. Sorry, man. Rules are rules and stipulations are stipulations.
Grime slams his fist on the desk again.
Grime: It isn’t fair! Mark Simmons and that pretty boy aren’t even on contract in the EWC.
President Mac: Grime. Flash Davis has signed a EWC contract. Mark Simmons has also signed a EWC contract. You however…
President Mac reaches to his left and grabs a white legal envelope.
President Mac: Are unfortunately no longer part of the EWC. Here you go.
Grime takes the envelope and opens it up. He takes out the contents. There it is stamped in red ink…
“TERMINATED”
On the contract is a single playing card from a bicycle deck. It’s the big joker card. Grime looks at Mac.
Grime: What? You think this is a game?
President Mac: No, that’s really your contract terminated, Grime. I'm under a lot of stress here tonight to make sure our last show goes off without a hiccup. Now you really need to go pack your bags.
Grime: And this?
Grime shows Mac the playing card.
President Mac: Yours?
Grime: No. Not mine.
President Mac: Look, I honestly have no idea how that even got there. I'm sorry Grime but at this point, you simply need to suck it up. You made your own bed. This was your call. I didn't want this, I advised against this, you went a head with it anyways. So... whats left to be said expect go pack your bags. I'm sorry man. I wish you the best of luck.
Grime: Yeah, whatever.
President Mac stands up and points to the door.
President Mac: You know Grime, I suggest you just get the hell out of here. Honestly.
Grime: Yeah, fine. Whatever. I’m out of here.
Grime leaves the office and hears a lot of laughter down the hall.
Grime: YOU THINK IT’S FUNNY!!!
The scene cuts as Grime heads toward his locker room to pack his bags.
UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
FATAL FOUR-WAY LADDER MATCH
SHELLEY SILVER
Vs
GRIFFIN HAWKINS (C)
Vs
LIVING DEAD KARL
Vs
METAL BLACK (C)
Colin Hanks: I think 'clash' is really the only way to describe it, Mystery Man. But first lets take a look at the 'why' for this match. Why did Living Dead Karl get involved? Why did Shelley Silver use her re-match clause now? Why doesn't Griffin Hawkins have a one-on-one match for the title he's the contender for? All those questions, and more, are about to be answered. Check it out.
Stroup: The following match is a fatal four way ladder match and it is for the Extreme Wrestling Corporation United States Championship!
We switch from ringside to the tron as a video vignette begins to play. It takes over the screen with a raucous rock riff playing in the background as Griffin Hawkins seems to be laying waste to EWC World Champion Mark Storm in a non-title match. The music swerves to something with a grungier sound as Living Dead Karl is seen slipping into the ring and ultimately costing Griffin that match so many months ago. A mish-mash of several different moments between the two begin playing over one another. Run-in after run-in with little photoshopped clips of their Fighter Talk feeds float in and out of the scene. The mash-up ends with a three second clip of Griffin Hawkins pinning Living Dead Karl; specifically, this was on Rampage when the Television Championship was on the line.
Griffin Hawkins: It's me against the World. But nothing will stop me from taking what is rightfully mine.
We then flash over with a classic rock riff to the United States Championship race with a clip of Metal Black winning her contendership months ago. There are several clips of the two women looking at one another backstage, but no exchange of words or fists happen as we see Shelley Silver sporting a sling for her arm. We do, however, see the tensions quickly rising between the two through promo and separate matches of their own as time goes on and Shelley Silver seems healed up enough to wrestle. The match is booked and Shelley Silver is backstage with Griffin Hawkins when Living Dead Karl and The Endless Walk look to take the fight to Griffin Hawkins once more. This time adding Shelley Silver to the mix to defend her friend. We see the camera zoom in to see Forsythe grinning maniacally in the far reaches of the background. Fast forward to Uncensored. Living Dead Karl tried his best to get involved with any shenanigans he could. But he couldn't cost Griffin Hawkins the Television Championship no matter how hard he tried. Griffin also won himself a number one contendership for the United States Championship, so we switch over to a clip of him walking down to the ring looking up at the cage ready to drop for the match for that very title.
Griffin Hawkins: Right now I have the TV Title on my left shoulder..but on my right shoulder will be the U.S Title as I close out 2015 as a double champion.
Metal Black: You gotta know, Shelley... you gotta know that I'm more dangerous now than I've ever been in my life.
Shelley Silver: I am a trained fighter, Ms. Black. Where you… you are just a ball room brawler who got lucky, honey.
The music screeches again, this time with heavy metal mashing of drums and guitar playing in the background as the United States Championship match was to be underway. The cell was dropping when, again with the grunge music, who else but LDK comes to spoil the fun again. Clips begins to mesh together again as quite a lot went down during that match, including a brawl with Griffin Hawkins, Karl with a chainsaw, a whole lot of yelling from Forsythe, Black and Silver getting involved with the zombies, and finally Metal Black winning the United States Championship only to be pushed from the top of the ladder through a ladder set up like a table on the cage and the ring.
William Townsend: The three moons finally align themselves this night. Their moonlight will bathe those three blasphemers in searing anguish.
Over the last several months, many more run-ins and confrontations now between all four have come together with it seeming like Living Dead Karl and the Endless Walk has set himself up against all three of these competitors. It ends with Metal Black finally reclaiming her title at the end of one of the confrontations, but it appears Metal isn't done there.
Metal Black: I said I'ma' be a fightin' champion, and I'ma' stick to that. Y'listenin', Mac? I want all three of these chucklefucks at Wrestlefest. Karl, Griffin, and Shelley.
Edgar Wellington Forsythe IV: Charles is going to avenge us all when he butchers those hogs! They're all that stands in our way now. Tonight belongs to US!
Shelley Silver: Let's make a night to remember. Screw the boys, baby. The alt model and the bad ass stripper are going to tear the house down.
Griffin Hawkins: Nothing and no one will deny me my destiny as I climb that ladder and stake my claim as the greatest athlete in EWC history.
Brenda Vixen: Dust to dust... ashes to ashes... they will all fall.
Back ringside, a creepy scene unfolds, not unlike the one back at Rumble in the Bronx, where members of The Endless Walk are busy setting up the area just off to the side of the Gorilla position for the alleged ultimate ritual. The members appear to be The Nameless Shamblers, The Guerrilla Ambushers, Kay Pinner, Roy Ceiling, and Louie Scarlotti. Various bloody rags are placed on an altar of sorts. a larger than usual makeshift casket is put together and adorned with runes, wards, oghams, kotodamas and all sorts of demonic and necromantic marks and sigils. An ebony podium stands at the head of the giant casket.
The big screen shows what appears to be an outside view of Stadio Olimpico. It's a clear night, making the stars visible... as well as the Moon... all three of them?! They appear to ever so slowly be converging on the central one, perhaps the real thing?
Mystery Man: Are you looking at the jumbotron, Hanks?
Colin Hanks: Nope, and you shouldn't either.
Mystery Man: Living in denial doing good by you?
Colin Hanks: I don't know what you're talking abo- oh, hey, we're back ringside, and we're delighted to be witnessing the preparations that are underway in order to make that granddaddy of mummies all that he can be.
Mystery Man: Maybe you're delighted, but this is yet another waste of the fans' time. If these nuts are to be believed, however, this'll thankfully be the last time we have to see them doing this non-wrestling Dungeons and Dragons LARPing bullshit.
Colin Hanks: You don't get it, MM, this totally has to do with wrestling, because once Living Dead Karl goes through this transformation, he's going to be able to suplex giants, legdrop lions, and Irish whip elephants!
Mystery Man just looks at Colin with silent disgust.
Colin Hanks: What?
And no sooner do they wrap up their banter, but the lights gradually dim, and fog begins to pump out into the arena. The quiet sounds of a rumbling thunder only intensify in volume as time progresses. Flashes of "lightning" illuminate the rafters and it appears that the flashes coincide with ones visible on the big screen. Chopin's "Marche Funèbre: Lento" (aka "The Funeral March") begins to play:
And from amidst the ominously hazy accouterments, Edgar Wellington Forsythe IV, wheeled in by William Townsend, comes on out, alongside Nurse Kinsley, Brenda Vixen, and a masked person. They are bathed in a chorus of boos. Brenda is extra vigilant, looking for trouble and itching for a fight.
The four Faceless Pallbearers are the last to trudge on out, carrying an open palanquin, the still-bandaged body of Living Dead Karl lying atop it. The "men" are dressed as per usual: in suits with heads cloaked in hoods. More like black sacks, actually. They lower the palanquin next to the large coffin, and hoist LDK's body into the open casket. Nurse Kinsley leaps into action, alongside Pinner, Ceiling and Scarlotti, who proceed to remove all the bandaging from around LDK's body. The process is only visible from the sides, so you can't see directly inside the coffin.
When they're done, the good nurse opens up a case filled with needles, each filled with bizarrely-coloured serums, which she then injects, one at a time, carelessly tossing the used needles behind her. The Faceless Shamblers drape the bloody rags over the exposed and rotting flesh of their... I want to say messiah? Let's go with that, for lack of a better word. Anyway, after that, each Guerrilla Ambusher adorns the body with different periapts, charms, bangles, and necklaces, as well as applying a diadem to his head, and resting a sceptre in one of his hands, an ankh in the other. What appears to be a death shroud (perhaps an old one of LDK'S?) is bound over the face.
The fans' boos grow louder, but The Endless Walk's focus is so intense that they hear nothing.
When everything seems to be done to prepare the body, the music begins to die out. William wheels Forsythe near the podium. Brenda takes her pilfered tome out, opening it to the appropriate section. Finally, William hands Forsythe a microphone! Boo!
Forsythe: Quit your insufferable whining! Just because your precious heroes couldn't be bothered to interfere in our plans a second time around! Hey, they smartened up; are you going to fault them for that? Yeah, you probably will. But it doesn't matter now! Do you see the Three Moons up there? Do you?! Do you think Hairdo and Emotional Wreck and Cleavage can can move celestial bodies? No! No, they can't. It's too late by far now.
Tonight, and as we speak, the Three Moons will eclipse each other, and with that, the final piece of this ritual will fall into our laps! In mere moments, your world is going to be our world! And the bringer of darkness will be the perfected form of my brother: Charles Barrington Forsythe!
The fans jeer wildly, but this time, Forsythe isn't shaken from his "good mood".
Forsythe: You knew this day was coming! And yet you did nothing! You see, this is how the Fall of the Roman Empire was able to happen! You all got lazy and fat and worried about your precious digital self-portraits and how quickly you could type up a review of the restaurant that forgot you didn't want pickles! They're sad, sad people in America, and it's clear they're just as sad, if not sadder here!
More jeering! Louder jeering!
Forsythe: All right, well, because you have yet to learn to shut your traps, I'm going to pass this microphone along to my manservant!
Forsythe indeed hands the mic over to William, who just shrugs.
William: When the first Moon is hidden behind the Prime one, the skies will darken.
And sure enough, this comes to pass, even inside the arena somehow!
William: And when the second Moon hides behind the first, the stars will die, and light will be vanquished.
And no sooner does the second Moon hide behind the first which hides behind the main one, the sky outside darkens, and the stars disappear. The arena itself becomes pitch black, and the murmuring begins. One by one, dim lights encircle The Endless Walk and the podium and casket.
Colin Hanks: Do you still think this is a game?!
Mystery Man: Whatever this is, it's freaky, I'll admit, but is it going to be over soon? There's still a United States Title Ladder Match to get to some time this month!
William: And now, to complete the ritual, we have given Miss Vixen the honour of reciting the incantation to perfect Master Charles' body, mind and soul!
Brenda Vixen wears a long black dress that fits to her body, showing off ever curve, with her blond hair in curls coming around her face. She looks down at the book in her hands with a grin on her face. She start to read from it as the crowd just boos like crazy. She closes her eyes as she let out a scream.
Brenda: SHUT UP!!!! I AM TALKING!
The crowd got quiet as she eyes them all with a cold stern look, followed by her smirking a bit. She looks around at the crowd, then looks back down at the book, reading from it once again.
Brenda: Pulverem Pulvis (Dust to Dust)
Spargens Cinerem Capiti Ad Cinerem (Ashes to Ashes)
Quoniam tempus ultionis est a facie formidinis profundum inferni (It is time for the face of fear to arise from the deepest part of hell)
And while the incantation is short and sweet, it is filled with much power. As Brenda utters the Latin word for "Hell", the Moons, now one once more, acts differently from a normal eclipse's end, simply brightening to full force. And on cue, a beam of "moonlight" seems to almost burst through from the rafters, illuminating the casket, which smolders and sparks.
Finally, after what seems like an eternity, an overhead view of the casket reveals this sight:
And as his eyes shoot open, "Pretend We're Dead" by L7 begins to play:
Moments after that, the casket's walls burst away in all directions, and rising from the "dead" is "Perfect Charles", aka Living Dead Karl, who gets to his feet, hoists the damaged remains of the casket over his head in a feat of Herculean might, and hurls it into the mists from whence it came! He storms towards the ring, with the rest of The Endless Walk in tow.
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, making his way to the ring. Accompanied by The Endles Walk! Residing from Congdon Castle, Yakima, Washington! He is the Grotesque Grappler! The Unholy Undead! The Putrid Pugilist! The Cannibal Catch-As-Catch-Can-er! The Rotten Wrestler! The Filthy Fighter! The Zombie Zeitgeist! The Mouldy Mauler! LIVING DEAD KARL!!!!
Colin Hanks: Holy shit, MM! He looks scarier than ever!
Mystery Man: Yeah, maybe, but can he wrestle? We're finally going to find out, dammit!
Brenda had followed right behind the reborn and superior LDK down to the ring. She steps inside of the ring at the same time as LDK. He then looks on at the crowd, raises his arms in the air, and unleashes a primordial roar that would jar all but the bravest of souls. She stood there watching once he finished letting out his roar. She walks over to the side grabbing a microphone.
Brenda: You all didn't want to believe, but tonight... tonight is the night your views about the darkness that has arrived in the EWC are proven to be dumb. The blood that he will spill tonight will be in honor of those who doubt his abilities. All those who made fun of him in the past because he was different... all those who believed he was just a joke. Tonight he going to show you all he's no joke. He's going to show you all why he is the master of pain. Why he is the one that will make you bleed!!!
She just laughs as she looks right at him, grinning as she drops the microphone, moving out of his way as he waits.
Colin Hanks: An ominous Living Dead Karl awaits in the ring, but who's coming out second?
Mystery Man: I hear it's going to be a huge entrance... bigger than Karl's!
Stroup: Ladies and Gentlemen...EWC proudly brings to you, one of the most legendary bands of all time, performing right here for their final World Tour...put your hands together...for Motley Crue!!
Motley Crue hits the stage as all the members get in position, taking their perspective instruments. Vince Neil takes the mic as Nikki Sixx blasts the guitar. The song begins as the crowd cheers
Streetwise religion
Greed's been crowned the new King
Hollywood dream teens
Yesterday's trash queens
Save the blessings for the final ring-
AMEN
Take a ride on the wild side
Wild side!"
The crowd is singing along to the crowd as they sing along. Signs are in support of the band such as "Motley Crue Kicks Ass" and "Motley Crue + Griffin Hawkins = Ultimate Tag Team"
Under my death list
Forward my mail to me in hell
Liars and the martyrs
Lost faith in The Father
Long lost in the wishing well
Take a ride on the wild side
Wild side!
Fallen angels
So fast to kill
Thy kingdom come on the wild side
Our father
Who ain't in heaven
Be thy name on the wild side
Holy Mary
Mother may I
Pray for us on the wild side
Wild side! Wild side!
Just then, rising through the elevator shaft looks to be the TV Champion Griffin Hawkins! His ring gear looks festive as it's Motley Crue decorated leather pants along with a Motley Crue Final Tour Vest. He has his back turned as he spreads his arms apart in a Crucifix Pose. A huge pyro goes off as the crowd is loving it!
Stroup: Entering the ring....from Windsor Ontario Canada, weighing 227 Pounds..he is the EWC Television Champion..Griffin Hawkins!
He high fives the members of the band, giving a fist bump to Vince Neil as he makes his way down the ramp as the song continues.
Glamorize cocaine
Puppets with strings of gold
East L.A. at midnight
Papa won't be home tonight
Found dead with his best friend's wife
Take a ride on the wild side
Wild side
!
Take a ride on the wild side
Wild side!
Griffin walks down the ramp slapping hands with the fans. Taking the time to stop by a young fan, taking off his aviator shades and putting it on him. The fan smiles in appreciation as he gets in the ring. He takes off his title, playing it like a guitar as the song continues.
Fatal strikes
We lie on the wild side
No escape
Murder, rape
Doing time on the wild side
A baby cries
A cop dies
A day's pay on the wild side
Wild side, wild side
Tragic life on the wild side
Wild side, wild side
Kickin' ass on the wild side
No goin' back on the wild side
Griffin gets on all four turnbuckles, raising the TV Title in the air as the song ends with a huge pyro. The crowd is cheering "Crue" over and over as Griffin encourages the crowd to do so. He raises the devil horns in the air as he sends a shout out to the band. They return the gesture to Griffin before making their way to the back. Griffin takes off his vest, putting the title aside Griffin looks up at the United States Championship as LDK does the same. Griffin takes note and launches himself into a flurry of blows against the zombie.
Mystery Man: Whoa! This is getting crazy alright!
The lights go low as the howling of a wolf is heard. As "The Wolf" begins to play Shelley walks onto the stage as smoke begins to fill the space around her. She bobs her head a little until the beat begins to pick up. She looks up with a smirk as a some fans jeer her while most cheer wildly.
Stroup: And their opponent! From Burien, Washington! She is a former EWC United States Champion! She is Shelley Silver!!!!
She chuckles, rolling her eyes before making her way down the ramp and high-fiving some of the fans, proudly wearing her Wolf Warrior: Shelley Silver t-shirt.
She climbs up onto the ring apron as the music continues. She climbs onto the second turnbuckle, howling outloud with the music before it begins to fade out. Once the music ends she leans against the ropes on the outside of the ring as the song begins to fade and swings her head down before throwing her head back. She pulls the t-shirt off, throwing it into a section that is cheering for her and steps into the ring and watches from a corner as Hawkins brawls Karl into the opposite corner.
Colin Hanks: That isn't a bad idea for Shelley Silver! Just watching Hawkins and the Undead Super Zombie beat each other senseless.
Mystery Man: That is if that's even possible.
The lights dim as a few acoustic cords get strummed over the PA. While the short intro to "Conditions Of My Parole" by Puscifer plays across the arena, Metal Black appears at the top of the entry ramp, wearing a leather jacket on her shoulders, the King of the Cage title belt around her waist, and... not much else.
Mystery Man: Hello Nurse!
Colin Hanks: Wrong person! That's Metal Black! The United States Champion!
Mystery Man: Clearly you've never seen the Animaniacs, Hank.
Stroup: And, coming to the ring! The United States Champion! The Queen of the Cage! METALLLLLLL BLAAAAAACKKKKKK!!!!!!!!
Metal Black calmly lights a Black & Mild cigar, and as the real meat of the song hits in full blast, a wall of pyro erupts on either side of her. She takes her time marching to the ring, high fiving fans, leaning over the guard rail to let them take selfies with her, and otherwise having the time of her life.
Once she hits the ring, she slides under the bottom rope. Metal Black paces around a bit before putting her cigar out on the turnbuckle in the far corner, then flicks it to the floor and pull herself up on the corner. The cheers of the crowd heighten for a moment as she grabs the edges of her jacket, hesitantly... then tugs it from her shoulders, tossing the jacket to the referee and revealing what might well be the lewdest ring attire in professional wrestling. The King of the Cage belt is the next to come off, the title likewise getting handed off to the referee before Metal Black is accosted from behind. During Metal's reveal, the entire Legion of Gloom (sans Forsythe and the servant boy) made their way to the ring and slid in three at a time. Kinsley and Vixen go for Shelley while the hooded figure and the three zombies go for Metal Black.
Mystery Man: I can't say I didn't see this coming a mile away.
Colin Hanks: Well, stranger things do happen. This isn't strange. This is normal!
A zombie and the hooded man get onto the ring apron to surround Metal and catch her from every angle with rights and lefts. Vixen and Kinsley double clothesline Shelley Silver out of the ring, who'd made a valiant effort against the two women, and follow Shelley out as Hawkins turns around after having stomped a mudhole into Karl. He sees the carnage and rushes to the aid of Metal Black. He fights the zombies in the ring as the hooded man climbs the turnbuckle. The third zombie enters the ring and aids in the battle against Hawkins. The hooded man headbutts Metal Black several times before being able to get her on his shoulders on the top rope. Hawkins attempts to battle off the three zombies who seem to be attempting to get Griffin to move at the command of the hooded man. Metal Black begins to fight back with forearms to the back of the man's head and grabs at his hood. To save his identity the man launches himself and Black into a top rope death valley driver onto the four in front of them.
Colin Hanks: OH MY!! This is absolute carnage! How do any of the competitors that aren't Living Dead Karl have a ghost of a chance here!?
Mystery Man: It's pretty clear Karl doesn't care about that at all. And it's not like he's actually breaking any rules here, Colin. What I want to know is what Vixen and Kinsley think they're doing right next to us.
Vixen and Kinsley had gotten Shelley Silver over to the announce table much to the chagrin to Shelley. Every attempt at getting away from one of them, or even getting an upper hand, seemed difficult when the other was right there to stop her. Vixen set up a twenty foot ladder in front of the tables and Kinsley began forcing Shelley up the ladder. Kinsley got under Shelley after a few rungs and pushed her up the ladder with her shoulders until she'd reached the top. Vixen had climbed from the side closest to the announce tables. Meanwhile, the carnage in the ring hadn't gotten any better as each got up simultaneously. Metal Black and Griffin Hawkins proceeded to fight off Karl, the hooded man, and three zombies with great effort.
Mystery Man: This is something that we've seen before. Except last time we saw Metal Black and Shelley Silver fighting off the zombies.
Two well placed noggin knockers later and Karl found himself in the handicap against Metal Black and Griffin Hawkins. Karl quickly slid out of the ring after Griffin went for him, each exchanging words as Griffin makes haste to reach him. GH almost gets his hands on LDK when out of nowhere the Lord of Zombies swings Griffin's guitar at him striking him over the head with it. Metal, on the other hand, had slid out of the ring on the opposite side and had gone back in with a ladder. She sets it up and notices Vixen and Kinsley with Shelley but it's too late. Double superplex through the Spanish announce table to a massive pop.
HO-LY SHIT!
HO-LY SHIT!!
HO-LY SHIT!!!
Colin Hanks: VIXEN AND NURSE KINSLEY JUST SUPLEXED SHELLEY SILVER FROM TWENTY FEET IN THE AIR! THROUGH A DAMN TABLE!!
Mystery Man: And Karl looks very happy. One down, two to go. Wait, is that King Flip? What's he doing out here with that burly FSW guy?
King Flip and Marcellus Franklin of FSW make their way quickly down the ramp with EMTs in tow. Metal, at this point, is tossing zombies over the top rope one by one so she can make a break for the dangling United States Championship. Flip and Franklin get to Shelley and push and shove folks out of the way to make room for Shelley. The EMTs check on her as Flip discusses something with Franklin. Black had gotten the hooded man over the top and turned to the ladder to notice Karl choking the life out of Griffin with his own guitar strap. She slides out of the ring and catches Karl from behind with a boot to the back of the head. The EMTs have Shelley on a gurney and are rolling her out while Flip and Franklin slide the zombies, Vixen, Kinsley, and the hooded man into the ring and out of the way. Flip sends Franklin to follow Shelley out of ringside as Rampage General Manager Michael Saint makes his presence known on the stage.
Mystery Man: Michael Saint! General Manager of Rampage! He's come out!
Michael Saint: We've already had one Pay Per View ruined by the likes of this nonsense. I'm not having the biggest show of the year turn out much the same. Endless Walk, you're banned from ringside!
Colin Hanks: Finally, we have some sort of order here!
Just then, tons of security officials and local cops come pouring out from behind the curtain as Metal Black slid into the ring. All six of the Endless Walk members began to beat down on her while the officials fought to get them, as well as Forsythe, away from the ring to a huge pop of cheers from the fans. It takes almost a minute to get all six members out of the ring and up the rampway. Meanwhile, Metal Black had been clotheslined out of the ring and King Flip took a seat at the announce table.
Mystery Man: Welcoming King Flip ringside as the three remaining competitors regain their bearings outside the ring. Good to see you, King.
Metal Black is to her feet first. She slides into the ring and begins to make sure the ladder is set up perfectly under the dangling championship belt before making her way up. Griffin Hawkins gets up and slides into the ring to climb up the opposite end and both competitors begin brawling at the top rung after Griffin catches Metal with a right hand to the torso. She had grabbed for the title and got one in the ribs for her efforts. They only get a few right hands in each when Karl enters the ring and starts pushing the ladder over.
King: Ouch! Oh well.
Metal's throat bounces off the top rope, but Hawkins and his undercarriage aren't so lucky as they bounce and bounce and bounce on the top rope before crumpling to the canvas.
Karl kicks Griffin on the canvas and pushes him outward with each stomp until Hawkins rolls out of the ring and splats onto the thin padding outside. Karl quickly goes to work on the champion as well, kicking her until she falls out just the same. LDK grins through the jeering crowd while resetting the ladder. Flip quickly gets up and grabs Metal, rolling her into the ring as Karl begins his ascent. Flip rolls Hawkins in as well before sitting back down. Both Black and Hawkins crawl to the ladder and use it to get to their feet. The title appears just out of Karl's reach as both of his opponents throw flailing rights at his legs. He attempts to shoo them with his kicks to no avail. They get on each side of him and pull him down into a makeshift double powerbomb. Hawkins and Queen Black exchange clotheslines, Metal hitting the second of the exchange and following up with a quick side belly to belly suplex to keep Griffin down. She lifts Karl up and slams him on top of Hawkins in a short spinebuster. She pushes the ladder back and begins to climb up.
Mystery Man: Metal Black is climbing up once again! She's a fighter isn't she?
Colin Hanks: That's for damn sure! She's that brawler that everyone loves to watch! She's not just some looker but...I do love to look. But, she's got that mean tenacity in her.
After realizing she can't reach the belt without jumping, Metal decides to showcase her talent by balancing off the side of the ladder in a flagpole press. She holds herself there for several seconds with the ladder wobbling before dropping herself onto both opponents just before the ladder topples over, catching Metal in the back of the head and ear. She's still the first to crawl to a turnbuckle and get to her feet, though, tossing Karl out of the ring as he gets up. Flip gets up again, this time rolling Karl right back into the ring while Metal laid the boots to Griffin. Flip tosses the ring bell attendant and closes up his chair to slide that in as well. With each boot Metal was kicking Hawkins further into the corner. Karl, confused, grabs the chair as he gets up and swings it wildly at Metal Black.
Colin Hanks: Oh! Look out!
Mystery Man: The carnage! Living Dead Karl! The carnage!
He bashes the chair into both opponents several times before discarding the weapon to opt for the ladder. Karl slides the ladder in between Hawkins' legs and takes off for the opposite turnbuckle to run into a sitting dropkick that sends the ladder right into Griffin's jewels. The Rock Superstar screams out before once against flopping like a fish out of water onto the padded outside. Karl gets up with the ladder and turns right into a stalled dropkick from Metal Black hard enough to send him right through the ropes. Karl lands square on his back with ladder still in hand. Metal slides out and grabs for it only to start a tugging contest with Karl for it.
Mystery Man: He's not letting go!
She kicks him several times without getting any change in effort from him. Some supernatural second wind is taking over as he uses the momentum from her pulling to get himself quickly to his feet Meanwhile, Griffin Hawkins finds himself up and sliding into the ring again. Seeing his opportunity, he climbs to the top rope and leaps off in a swanton bomb onto Metal, Karl, and the ladder all at once.
THIS IS AWE-SOME!
THIS IS AWE-SOME!
THIS IS AWE-SOME!
Just then a massive cheer erupts as Shelley Silver makes her way through the curtain to everyone's surprise with a new, even more massive ladder.
Colin Hanks: It's SHELLEY SILVER! She's back! Shelley Silver is back and look at that ladder!
Mystery Man: Oh, this just got a bit more interesting! A bit more intense! A bit more...silver!
Colin Hanks: A bit more silver?
Mystery Man: I'm just calling the match, Hank.
She slides it into the ring and enters after it. She sets the ladder up right at the edge of the ring and looks down to her opponents. She climbs what seems to be at least twenty-five feet in the air and sets herself up like she's sitting on a mountainous chair. She waits for them to begin stirring and getting up before turning herself around. Moonsault off the top of the ladder onto all three of her opponents sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy.
SHEL-LEY SILVER! (PLEASE DON'T DIE!)
SHEL-LEY SILVER! (PLEASE DON'T DIE!)
SHEL-LEY SILVER! (PLEASE DON'T DIE!)
Hawkins is the first to move, followed by Metal Black. Both get themselves into the ring one after the other and tug to set up the ladder just right. The top rung doesn't seem like it's any more than five feet higher than the top rung. Griffin makes his way up first but Metal runs up with greater speed and conviction. She catches him and plants him face first on the canvas with a running DDT that opens Hawkins' forehead like a fountain.
METAL'S RAT-CHET! (NO SHE'S NOT!)
METAL'S RAT-CHET! (NO SHE'S NOT!)
METAL'S RAT-CHET! (NO SHE'S NOT!)
Mystery Man: These fans are going nuts!
Colin Hanks: Who's going to walk out with the United States Championship belt and what will it cost them?
Mystery Man: I'm thinking more than a few dentist and hospital bills to pay.
Colin Hanks: And I'm not looking at any four superstars of the Extreme Wrestling Corporation that care!
Karl stumbles to his feet but Shelley Silver grabs him by the ankles.
He kicks her hard in the nose and shakes his leg free, then continues into the ring. Flip once again rushes to ringside to aid Shelley. Karl begins kicking both Griffin and Metal while they're down, not giving either competitor a chance to get up.
Karl pushes Metal to the ring apron, but she grabs his foot and holds tight as he tries kicking her off. She gets to one knee with his foot in her hands and leg sweeps him out of the ring. She readjusts the ladder over Griffin Hawkins' throat and torso before climbing up to the title. Hawkins gags and chokes and tries to push the weight off of him but can't quite do it before she unbuckles the belt and wins the match.
Mystery Man: No way! No way! She fought through everything and still comes out the Champion here tonight!
Colin Hanks: What a fight that was! What a fighter! What a champion!
Stroup: And your winner and STILLLL EWC UNITED STATES CHAMPION!!!! METALLLLLL BLAAAACCKKKK!!!
Metal hops off the ladder about halfway down as confetti falls from the rafters. Flip grabs the mangled steel chair from earlier and slides into the ring, swinging it at Metal Black's face as she turns around. He stares down at her for a few seconds before dropping the chair with a smile and walking out.

He grins out towards the crowd taking it all in as he climb down. The music slowly fades out as he jump off the top rope taking off his hood
Atlas slowly makes his way toward the center of the ring, as Double X hops on his feet in his corner, seemingly in no hurry to get started. Atlas stands in the center of the ring, and waves for Double X to bring it on. Double X smirks and walks to the middle of the ring, the two stand in the middle of the ring, as they go forehead to forehead Double X talking trash just as Atlas swings and nails Double X with a hard right hand! They quickly begin trading lefts and rights as the crowd erupts! One after another after another and Double X falls to the mat! He bounces back up! Atlas hits him again and he falls again to the mat, bouncing right back up!
Mystery Man: Atlas firing right out of the gate! He has come ready to fight!
Colin Hanks: Yeah, but this for the FSW Championship, if there is anyone who is ready for this match its Double X.
The two men tie up in the middle of the ring, neither man seems to be able to get the advantage over the other for the first few moments. But Atlas, the larger of the two men walks Double X into the corner, the ref tries to separate the two men, but Atlas gives Double X two elbows to the side of the head of the champion! Atlas backs up to the opposite side turnbuckle and charges at Double X looking for a hard clothsline but is met with a boot to the face by Double X! Atlas grabs his jaw stumbling out of the turnbuckle, with his back turned, Double X charges and clothslines Atlas from behind sending him down to the mat with a thud! Double X smirks looking at the crowd as he turns and grabs Atlas, and brings him over to the turnbuckle and slams his head down on the turnbuckle over, and over, and over again… then just throwing him backward as he leans in on the turnbuckle. Shaking his head, rebounding easily from the early heat from Atlas. As Atlas regains his composure Double X points over the top rope and the crowd pops. He grabs Atlas by the hair and launches him over the top rope!
Collin Hanks: Aaaaaand we are headed outside! I was wondering how long it would be before this falls count anywhere match would head outside the ring, and it looks like it’s not gonna take long!
Mystery Man: It will be interesting to see how Atlas fairs outside the ring, this is not his specialty, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the man ever use a weapon.
Double X climbs to the top rope, and just as Atlas gets to his feet, he leaps off the top rope on top of Atlas! Double X pops up to his feet, as the crowd whips up into a frenzy! Atlas makes it to his feet and just as Double X grabs him, Atlas nails Double X with a right hand to the gut! Double X doubles over as Atlas hits him again! Double X tries to get his wind as he turns and leans on the safety rail, just as Atlas kicks him yet again in the stomach. Atlas grabs the champion and whips him across the entrance ramp into the guard rail! The crowd seems torn on who to cheer for as Atlas grabs Double X hooks him on his shoulder and lifts him into the air and drops him with a back drop onto the arena floor! Double X clutches his head in pain, as Atlas stands up catching his breath. Atlas grabs Double X by the head and leads him over to a merchandise stand, and tries to slam the champion down on it, but Double X blocks it and slams Atlas’ face down on the table! The Merchandise workers high tail it outa there as Double X grabs a pile of T shirts and throws them out into the crowd! The people jump to their feet, as the t shirts fly into the crowd. Double X pulls Atlas on top of the table and with a kick to the midsection Atlas doubles over and Double X sets up Atlas for a piledriver on the table!!!
Collin Hanks: This could be ugly for the challenger!!!!
The champion grabs the waist band of his opponents trunks pulling his opponent into the upright position, and then drops down!!! The table snaps! And Atlas’ head bounces off the arena floor!!! Double X wastes no time going for the cover!

Mystery Man: The Champion almost ended it there!!!!
Collin Hanks: Yeah, but what effort on Atlas’ part to kick out of that after not only going through the table but crashing down on the arena floor.
Double X gets up on his knees, his hands on his hips looking a little upset, surprised that he didn’t get the three after that. He steps up, Atlas dazed still grabbing his head, Double X grabs him and walks him toward a curtain and they head backstage in the arena! A camera man follows them as they walk the hallways of the arena as they begin to fight infront of a Subway vender inside the arena. They swing lefts and rights at each other as Atlas slams Double X’s head down on the Subway glass. Double X stumbles back as Atlas charges with a clothsline! Atlas quickly goes for a cover!

Atlas brings Double X over and puts his head in the doorway of the rest room stall and slams the door on his head! Double X shouts out in pain as he stumbles away. Atlas grabs the garbage can and slams it down over the back of Double X who falls to his knees. He crawls out the door, getting to his feet and as Atlas tries to get through the crowd of people, Double X gets to his feet, grabbing a steel chair from a rack of chairs and swings just as Atlas clears the crowd of people cracking him square perfectly in the face! But Double X is too winded to get to the pin! He falls to his knees and has to shuffle through a crowd of people that security is trying to keep back, he crawls over to Atlas and covers him.

Double X throws Atlas at the door and he slams into it and he falls outside! Atlas is out on the sidewalk out infront of the building! Atlas turns around and quickly grabs Double X into a collar and elbow tie up to try to slow things down, and quickly slides double X into a headlock!
Collin Hanks: Look at Atlas’ eyes, he has no idea where he is, he is running on instinct, he thinks he is still in the ring.
Double X grabs Atlas’ legs and out of that headlock he drops Atlas on the pavement with a backdrop! Atlas looks like he is out cold! Double X gets to his feet, shakes his head as he leans down and covers up Atlas….

Atlas twists it and kicks Double X to the midsection and quickly nails a DDT on the cement! Atlas is too winded to even go for a cover, he just pulls himself up on the door, As Double X rolls over onto his stomach, Atlas’ eyes open wide and he quickly moves in and stomps on the arm multiple times!!! As he quickly moves into the STK!!!!
Mystery Man: Oh my this could be one of the biggest upsets ever!!!

(The lights turn to black. Smoke fills the top of entrance ramp, and an eerie blue light appears in the middle of the entrance ramp. A mysterious figure begins to a appear in the light standing with a microphone in hand. His face is covered as he begins to speak)
I stand here at Wrestlefest to say one thing. I have been gone from wrestling for a while now. I have been gone from this business for a good bit. I needed a chance to do some healing. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I needed to get away from the scene to re access myself. As i have been away, i have noticed the landscape change. New stars made, and older stars fade into the darkness. My friends in this game. some have stayed, and most have gone. It seems that the old guard of this business that i have come up with are losing their hold on this industry. Well i am here to tell you that i am coming back to this business to reignite the flame of dominance of the old era in this game. I am coming back to bring back the old dark age of wrestling. The sadistic side of this business that will be resurrected under my rule. I am coming back to wrestling to reign supreme once again, but to do it in a federation i have only crossed paths with once.
EWC have crossed paths with me at a King Of The Cage Tournament years ago. I tournament that i lost in the first round of. Well, after that, i told myself that when i made my return here i would wipe that loss from the existence on the minds of all who saw it.
Sometime in 2016, i will make my return official, and i will wreak havoc upon those that stand in my way on becoming World Champion! Those who oppose me shall kneel before me, and worship the ground that i walk on. I am nearing completion of my preparation for my return, not only to wrestling, but to the top on this business.
New attitude, New name, but the same old school dominance that i had years ago. EWC, THIS COMPANY SHALL BE MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anf my name shall be..... ERIC DARKTHRONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And by the way Nurse Kinsley, I want you by my side when it happens (evil grin look)!
(The lights go back off. They come back on with the man gone)

INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Ace Heart is backstage outside Shadow Man's dressing room just moments before the EWC World Heavyweight Championship Match is about to begin
ACE: I am standing outside of Shadow Man's dressing room, just moments before the EWC World Heavyweight Championship Match is about to begin
Apparently Ace felt it was necessary to repeat my narration. Suddenly the door opens and out comes a flamingo, several circus midgets, Selena Gomez and a couple of her Victoria Secret Angel friends. Seconds later Shadow Man steps outside the dressing room with his EWC Hardcore Championship Belt hanging over his shoulder
SHADOW: Ace, sorry about that ... that was my ... PRAYER group. We roast marshmallows and sing biblical hymns to get me focused on tonight's match
ACE: About that, you had some rather harsh things to say about Mark Storm and referred to him as a 'False Champion'. Some people thought you might have crossed the line with those remarks.
SHADOW: Listen, the truth can be a really shitty smelly sour vagina sometimes. You can either shy away from it, or you can dive right in knowing full well you are deep in a vagina.
ACE: I don't ... What?
SHADOW: The truth hurts Ace. Look, Mark Storm is the EWC World Heavyweight Champion. He earned the right to be called that. I respect him for that. I respect him for his talent. What chaps my tight, hairless ass, is the fact that our Champion ran away from his responsibilities for months on end and then comes back for the final match of the year acting as if it's perfectly fine what he did. Maybe he has his reasons, knocking up a girl and fixing up a house, and maybe he's just a kid who got in way over his head and didn't realize what being a champion meant. Either way, the ball is in his court.
ACE: Shadow, you've had a pretty illustrious career so far, and this year has been a remarkable one for you, how confident are you that you can win here tonight against someone like Mark Storm?
SHADOW: These pep talks right before my matches are always a special thing. Fuck man. Look, I never ever go into a match thinking I might lose. I always go in knowing I will win. It's not being cocky or over-confident, it's called knowing and believing in ones self. I know that as long as I give my everything, the chances are well in my favor to walk out the victor. I plan on winning tonight. I plan on being a dual champion. My story is far from over Ace, we are now getting to the good juicy parts of the story.
A muffled eruption of cheers can be heard in the background now
SHADOW: They are playing my music Ace, it's time to go out and win one for the home team
ACE: Good Luck Shadow Man
SHADOW: Don't need luck Ace, I'm fueled by the power of Tacos, Bacon and knowing I have super models waiting for me when I'm done.
ACE: Ladies and Gentleman, Shadow Man is now on his way down the ramp for what should prove to be an exciting Championship match. Back to you Colin
EWC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
NO DQ MATCH
SHADOW MAN (C)
Vs
MARK STORM (C)
Mystery Man: Well, Colin, this is the moment that so many EWC fans around the world have been waiting for! A match that could very well change the landscape of the company as we know it!
Colin Hanks: Champion versus Champion. Brawl versus Rampage. And no rulebook to hold these two back. This is the kind of match that defines legacies and potentially shortens careers. Two of the highest-profile talents in the EWC. Two of the most dominant in terms of win-loss records. This match has been months in the making, and now it’s just a matter of moments away! I don’t you about you, Mystery, but I am getting a serious case of goosebumps right now just anticipating what we’re going to see.
The crowd is roaring as both Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jessica Stroup are standing in the ring, microphones in hand.
Mystery Man: Are these two going to compete to decide who’s going to introduce our competitors?
Colin Hanks: Or, in the spirit of Wrestlefest, will they work together? My money’s on together. Anything to make this match even that much more memorable, you know?
Jessica Stroup: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and is being contested under a NO DISQUALIFICATION stipulation! This match is for the EWC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!! INNNNNNTRODUCING FIRST... representing MONDAY NIGHT BRRRAWL.... He is the REIGNING EWC HAAARDCORE CHAMPION...SHAAADOWWW...MAAAAN!!!
The lights in the arena slowly begin to dim as everyone in the arena quickly gets to their feet and begins to roar. "Invincible" begins to play over the sound system as three strobe lights begin to pulse in the entrance way, fog then begins to rise from below the stage in front of the entrance.
The X-Treme Tron lights up counting down from 9 all the way to 1. It seems as though every single person is on there feet counting down the numbers. Once it gets to 0 large letters flash “IT'S SHOWTIME”.
An enormous uproar of cheers now blends out the blasting of "Invincible" as Shadow Man walks from behind the wall of fog onto the stage. He stands their for a few seconds with a smirk on his face and begins to point to the fans who are screaming the loudest. He holds his EWC Hardcore Championship belt high above his head to another raucous ovation from this capacity crowd.
Shadow looks toward the camera with a cocky yet confident look on his face and begins to walk down the ramp and towards the ring. On the way he makes silly faces into the camera. After waving at the fans while walking down the ramp, Shadow runs and slides onto the ring apron on one knee and holding onto the middle rope. He gets to his feet and in a cocky manner, steps through the first and second ropes.
He then gets into the ring and runs over to the corner, leaping up onto the second turnbuckle. He pats himself on the chest twice and then points to all the screaming fans with his left hand, holding his title belt high with his right. He then points to the sky and pumps his fist for Memphis Reigns! Shadow then jumps down from the turnbuckle and turns around, leaning in the corner as he waits for the match to begin.
Mystery Man: This just proves, Shadow Man’s fan appeal is absolutely global! These people totally love the Hardcore Champion, and he seems very willing to return the love to his fans.
Colin Hanks: He’s enjoying the moment while it lasts. Because partner, once that bell rings, he’s going to be in the fight of his life, and he knows it. Shadow Man loves the hardcore style of competition, but he’s never faced someone with so much to lose before.
Emmanuelle Chriqui: AAAAND HIS OPPONENT... representing Friday Night RRRAMPAGE...he is the REIGNING EWC WORLD CHAMPION... THE REINCARNATION OF MAN...MAAAAARK....STOOOOOOORM!!!
The slow nostalgic melody of "Nevermind" by Leonard Cohen plays through the sound speaker, with the audience all fixated on the entrance ramp. The lights dim, and everyone is silent - as the lyrics are sung by Leonard in his deep gruff tone. Emerging from the entrance ramp is the EWC World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Storm - who comes out to no reaction from the audience, who merely just glare at the new image of Mark Storm who stands with his head help high at the top of the entrance ramp. The heavyweight championship is draped on his shoulder, he is wearing his usual wrestling attire, and as well as this - his new signature t-shirt which reads "THE REINCARNATION OF MAN.". He enters the ring and hands his title belt to the referee before staring at Shadow Man, who is anxious to get things on the go.
Mystery Man: This is one of the most anticipated matches of the year, and both men are now in the ring! All that’s left now is to ring the bell and give these people what they want to see!
Colin Hanks: The balance of power in the EWC hinges on this very match. How much pressure has got to be on the shoulders of Mark Storm knowing that if he loses, it will not only cost him his title, but it could change the landscape in this company forever?
The bell rings and this match is now officially underway! The crowd is on its feet as Storm and Shadow meet in the middle of the ring, staring at each other and trash-talking. Storm punctuates his remark with a shove that Shadow quickly answers. Both men are shoving each other and it quickly escalates into fists flying, with Storm tagging Shadow on the chin and staggering the Hardcore Champion.
Shadow holds his jaw and nods, a grin appearing. Storm closes the gap and Shadow catches him with a knee to the midsection and a headlock that he uses to crank the neck. Storm pushes Shadow into the ropes and floors the fan favorite with a clothesline!
Shadow quickly gets back to his feet and can be heard shouting, “Is that all you got?” Storm rushes and Shadow elevates him with a backdrop. He runs the ropes and as Storm gets to his feet, Shadow goes low and takes out the legs with a dropkick, going for a cover- but not even getting a one count. Both men get back to their feet and the crowd is roaring!
Shadow runs the ropes but Storm catches him with a powerslam and goes for a cover of his own, but once again only manages a one count before the kickout. Storm is on his feet first and he drops an elbow across the chest of Shadow before he can get vertical, knocking the wind out of him.
Storm pulls Shadow to his feet, whipping him hard into the corner. Storm charges in behind, but Shadow is able to gain his bearings quickly and he slams Storm with an elbow to the jaw, staggering Storm just enough for Shadow to mount the second turnbuckle and connect with a leaping knee!
Shadow plays to the crowd as he pulls Storm up and wraps his arms around his adversary, taking him over with a pair of German suplexes and following through for a cover.. he gets the one count before Storm kicks out, hooking his legs around Shadow Man and trying to lock in a gogoplata... but Shadow Man is able to quickly recognize the attempt and he escapes, shaking his head and wagging a finger at Storm.
Storm gets to his feet as Shadow is running the ropes.. and Shadow Man lands a flying forearm that sends Storm to the canvas! Shadow Man goes for a cover, but Storm kicks out quickly.
Shadow Man runs to the corner and quickly ascends the turnbuckles, looking to hit a flying cross-body... but Storm leaps, gets his knees up and takes Shadow Man down hard! The Hardcore Champ is clutching at his ribs as Storm gets to his feet and shakes off the cobwebs.
Mystery Man: This is what you have to do in order to keep the championship where it belongs. Both men are keeping it within the rulebook, but how long will that last?
Colin Hanks: As long as they feel they can keep it civil, they will. Don’t kid yourself- there’s a deal of respect between these guys. But if need be, neither one of them will hesitate to go outside the lines and do whatever they need to do in order to win. Too much is at stake.
Storm kneels down before Shadow and grabs him by the hair, getting in close and shouting something at him before slugging him with a right hand. Shadow Man is slowly getting back to his feet as Storm leaves the ring and pulls up the ring skirt.
He emerges with... a steel folding chair!
Storm nods in approval and slides underneath the bottom rope, but Shadow Man has disappeared! Shadow emerges from underneath the ring and he’s got a kendo stick in his hand, eyes wide and a grin on his face. Shadow swings the kendo stick, but Storm ducks underneath and rams the edge of the chair into the midsection, doubling Shadow Man over and forcing him to drop the weapon.
Storm raises the chair and brings it down hard one.. two... three times across the back of his opponent!
Storm inverts the chair and brings the edge of it down across the lower back of Shadow Man, his eyes widening. He drops the chair and turns Shadow Man over, going for a cover...
ONE!!!
TWO!!
Shadow Man kicks out just at the two count, much to the delight of the capacity crowd. Storm grabs the chair again, but this time Shadow Man is able to roll out of the way of the shot, rolling and grabbing the stick, swinging it in one fluid motion and taking out Storm’s left leg!
Storm drops to one knee as Shadow Man slowly gets back to his feet, raising the kendo stick high and bringing it down flush against the crown of Mark Storm’s skull!
Mystery Man: Storm’s got to be out cold after that! He just took a shot with that kendo stick dead on!
Colin Hanks: He’s going to have one hell of a headache in the morning, that’s for sure. I expect he’s going to be popping Excedrin like penny candy for the next week.
Storm crumples to the mat and Shadow Man drops the kendo stick, going for a cover, getting a one count before Storm kicks out. Shadow Man pulls Storm to his feet and whips him into the ropes, but Storm manages to grab onto the ropes.. but Shadow Man rushes in with a clothesline and the momentum sends both men to the outside! The crowd is on its feet as both men are a little slow to get vertical.
Shadow Man is the first up and he grabs Storm, lifting him up and being answered with a knee to the gut and a European uppercut that he turns into a German suplex.. that sends Shadow Man crashing back-first into the ring apron! Storm takes a moment to regain his composure before measuring Shadow Man, hooking him and lifting him up for a vertical suplex- but Shadow Man blocks and reverses, pivoting and bringing Storm crashing down onto the announce table!
Shadow Man steps back, his hand moving quickly to his aching back and a visible wince on his face. He climbs up onto the ring apron and measures the fallen Storm before going airborne and dropping a leg with such impact that the table collapses under the force!
The announce team scrambles to get out of the way as Shadow Man very slowly gets to his feet and pulls Storm up, throwing him into the ring and following very slowly behind.
Mystery Man: Well, there goes our announce table! We knew it was only a matter of time!
Colin Hanks: They’ll fix it once the match is done. Right now nobody wants to get between these two, and I know I sure as hell don’t.
Both men are very slow in getting to their feet, but the roar of the crowd seems to be giving Shadow Man the boost he needs and he finds his vertical base, pulling Storm up and scooping him onto his shoulder, pointing to the corner. He charges, but Storm slides off and sends Shadow Man into the corner, and as he ricochets back, Storm is waiting to send him right back into the corner with a dropkick that he quickly follows up with a tiger suplex.. he gets a one count before the kickout, and the crowd is absolutely electric!
Storm gets to his feet and lands a series of stomps to the chest of the fallen Shadow Man before he heads for the corner, ascending the turnbuckles. He’s measuring Shadow Man as he leaps, looking for the diving headbutt... but Shadow Man rolls out of the way and Storm winds up hitting nothing but canvas!
Shadow Man slowly gets to his feet and spots the kendo stick. He picks it up and sets himself.. and as a groggy Storm gets to his feet, Shadow Man swings the stick and blasts Storm right across the forehead!
A gash has just opened up over Storm’s right eye and he’s starting to bleed, but he doesn’t go down! Shadow Man blasts him once more and Storm staggers, but he stays on his feet!
Shadow Man yells, “STAY DOWN!” and he swings once more, but Storm grabs the kendo stick and looks for a home run swing right to the side of Shadow Man’s head! Shadow Man’s eyes roll and he crumples. Storm goes for the cover...
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
Shadow Man just manages to get his shoulder up!!!
Mystery Man: Both men are wearing the proverbial crimson mask right now! Folks, I hope you’re not squeamish, because this is not for the faint of heart.
Colin Hanks: No kidding. Everyone knew from the moment this was declared a No-DQ match that they were going to get violent, they were going to get bloody, and they would beat each other within an inch of their lives. Anything less would be a disappointment to the fans.
Storm pounds his fists on the mat, realizing how close he was to getting the win. Storm pulls Shadow Man to his feet and lifts him up for a vertical suplex... Shadow Man kicks and reverses it, landing on his feet and taking Storm down with a neckbreaker! Shadow Man floats over into a cover..
ONE!!
TWO!!
Storm kicks out! Shadow Man gets to his feet and pulls Storm up, sending him into the ropes and leapfrogging over him, but on the rebound, Storm slides underneath the bottom rope to the floor, where he grabs another steel folding chair.
Shadow Man rushes the ropes and goes airborne for a suicide dive.. and gets caught flush with a chair to the face! Shadow Man falls to the mat, blood flowing freely from the fresh wound on his forehead. Both men are bloody and woozy right now, but Storm is managing to stay on his feet. He drags a limp Shadow Man over to the ring steps and leans him against the steel, backing up and getting a head of steam.
He rushes for a big boot, but Shadow Man lunges and takes out the vulnerable leg, sending Storm crashing into the ring steps!
Mystery Man: What a desperation move from the Hardcore Champion!
Colin Hanks: Desperation? Are you kidding? That, my friend is scouting meeting opportunity. Now he has to capitalize.
Shadow Man clambers up onto the ring apron and measures Storm, running and looking for a leg drop, but Storm is able to catch Shadow Man in midair and he powerbombs the Hardcore Champ into the unforgiving ringpost! Shadow Man howls in pain and clutches at his back as Storm collapses to the mat, looking to get some air back into his lungs and trying to tap that reserve energy. He uses the steps for leverage to get back to his feet and he rolls Shadow Man into the ring, sliding underneath the ring rope and covering...
ONE!!
TWO!!
Shadow Man just kicks out before the three count!
The crowd is roaring as Storm gets to his feet and gets some air, bringing a hard knee to Shadow’s chest and going for another cover...
ONE!!
TWO!!
Shadow Man reverses and turns it into a cover of his own..
ONE!!
TWO!!
Storm kicks out and both men return to their vertical bases, both bloodied, both visibly tired and neither one willing to even think about giving up. Both men start exchanging punches and Shadow Man blocks a right hand, wrapping his arms around Storm and taking him down with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex that he turns into a cover..
ONE!!
TWO!!
Storm kicks out!
Shadow Man looks over to the corner and sees the steel chair still sitting there. Storm notices the weapon at the same time and both men lunge for the chair, turning into a tug-of-war for the weapon. Shadow Man releases the chair and the momentum sends Storm staggering just long enough for Shadow Man to uncork a dropkick that catches the chair and sends it slamming into Storm’s chest, sending the champ over the top rope and to the floor!
Shadow Man runs the ropes and hits Storm with a baseball slide underneath the bottom rope that sends him crashing into the barricade. Shadow Man regains his bearings and charges, but Storm springs up and grabs Shadow Man, dropping him facefirst onto the barricade! He throws Shadow Man into the ring and follows behind.
He pulls Shadow Man to his feet and hoists him up onto his shoulders...
Shadow Man has the presence of mind to slide off of Storm’s shoulder.. he drapes Storm’s right arm over his shoulder and lifts... DEATH PENALTY!!! Shadow Man goes for the cover...

The crowd is on its feet as the bell is rung. The referee calls for the championship belts and he hands them to Shadow Man.
Jessica Stroup: HERE IS YOUR WINNER...AND THE NEWWWWW EWC WORLD CHAMPION... SHADOW MAN!!!!
Shadow Man grabs the title belts and holds them close to his chest. The crowd is on its feet now as the visibly exhausted and bloodied champ catches his breath and takes in the moment. He turns to Storm who is slowly getting to his feet, extends a hand and helps Storm up before giving him an embrace of respect.
Mystery Man: What an incredible year it has been for Shadow Man. Coming into the 2015 and 18th Season of the EWC, Shadow Man was under a huge amount of scrutiny. Many on the roster felt he was over-rated, that he no longer had the talent, stamina or will to make it as a EWC Superstar. Boy did he prove them wrong with an amazing year that saw him capture the EWC Hardcore Championship, EWC Tag Team Championship, Winning the 30 Man Battle Royal for the first time in his career at Rumble in the Bronx ... and now this ... the NEW EWC World Heavyweight Champion. Unbelievable and incredibly deserved. Mark Storm has also proven to be a class act, and I can't wait to see what Mark has in store for the 2016 Season. He is hungry for the Tag Team Championships, and who knows, he might get a re-match against Shadow Man. For now though, we celebrate a NEW Champion, a NEW Reign and unbelievably, the Championship moves to Monday Night Brawl which must have Michael Saint beyond upset. Lets listen now as the fans send off Shadow Man, the NEW EWC World Heavyweight Champion.
EWC CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
BRETT BLACK
W/ TARA MICHAELS
Vs
XPLODE (C)
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and Gentlemen the following match up is our Main Event of the evening, scheduled for one fall competed inside Hell in a Cell for the EWC Championship!!!
The EWC Universe pop up to their feet filling the arena with cheers in anticipation for the Main Event. The Hell in a Cell structure begins to lower it’s way down to the ring.
Mystery Man: It’s now time for the Main Event with our EWC Champion Xplode taking on one of the most bizarre and most threatening challengers yet, Brett Black.
Colin Hanks: If it was myself in the Main Event, I’d walk away the new EWC Champion.
Mystery Man: Don’t get ahead of yourself Colin, you wouldn’t last a full minute against Xplode or Brett Black. We have already seen THREE NEW CHAMPIONS Crowned here tonight at WrestleFest. Atlas is the NEW FSW Champion, King Flip the NEW EWC International Champion and we just finished watching Shadow Man become the NEW EWC World Heavyweight Champion. Will we see FORTH title change hands tonight or will Xplode prove to be the destroyer and retain?
The lights in the arena dim as a video package begins to display on the titan-tron.
The fans scream with excitement as the lights begin to flicker! Flames emit from the turnbuckles as the arena turned a shade of red!
Michaels: YOU WILL STAND IN THE FACE OF FEAR.... XPLODE! YOU WILL FACE MY CLIENT... BRETT BLACK!!!
The fans scream as the lights flicker repeatedly! Then... everything goes black.
The lights then return and we see Brett Black in the ring, standing behind Xplode! Tara Michaels smiles as she backs away slowly! Before Xplode can react, Black grabs Terry Jones and flings him over the top rope and out of the ring with a sickening crunch! Xplode sees this and spins around, but it's too late! Black levels him with a clothesline from hell! Xplode hits the mat hard but is quick to return to his feet!
Black clotheslines X again... and again.. each time with even more authority! Xplode uses the ropes to get back up this time as Black stalks him! In the corner of the ring, Tara Michaels watches with an evil grin as she orders Black to attack the EWC Champion! X is finally back to his feet when Black spins him around, locks him in place... and performs his finisher... the Black Out Powerbomb!!! Xplode lands with a splat as his arms are held out to his side. He does not move at all! Tara Michaels steps out of the ring as Black looks down at Xplode, a sadistic smile on his face.
Aiello: BRETT BLACK IS HERE!!! THE CANDY MAN HAS ATTACKED THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS!!! THE BUTCHER OF THE BAYOU HAS PUT THE CHAMPION DOWN FOR THE COUNT.. OH MY GAWD!!!
Piven: Wait.. what's going on?!
Tara Michaels grabs a chair from ringside and slides it into the ring! Black sees this and picks the chair up. He slowly walks over to Xplode. Wedging the chair over Xplode's knee, Brett Black looks out at the fans. Nodding his head, he jumps into the air and lands with all of his weight unto the chair... snapping the metal around Xplode's knee cap! Xplode screams in agony as Black rolls away!
Aiello: OH MY GAWD!!! SOMEONE CALL THE AMBULANCE!! BLACK JUST BROKE THE CHAMPION'S KNEE!!
Security teams and EMT's wish into the ring as President Mac directs them! Black glares at Xplode as security pushes him backwards and out of the ring. EMT's tend to Xplode as he rolls in pain! Still at ringside, Tara Michaels smiles as she picks up the EWC Championship belt! She looks at it... and then tosses it into the ring.
Michaels: Xplode... this is just the beginning. Your time is over. You have found your opponent for Wrestlefest. How does it feel to be out smarted for a change?! This is your fault.
Tara Michaels drops the microphone and the fans boo loudly! Xplode holds his knees in the ring as EMT's roll him into a stretcher. At ringside, another set of EMT's tend to Terry Jones who is not moving at all! President Mac helps with Terry Jones.
Aiello: Okay... Tara Michaels has gone too far. Making a statement is one thing but attempting to end a person's livelihood is another. Terry Jones was innocent... this isn't good.
Piven: Xplode said that he would put his next opponent in the emergency room. I hate to say it but he brought this on himself. I know that man well though and I can honestly say that this is far from over. As long as Xplode is able to breathe, he will make it his absolute focus to get even with Brett Black.
Aiello: ...this is insane. It's official though... Xplode will defend the EWC Championship against Brett Black. I can hardly believe it. The carnage…
The feed pans to Terry Jones as EMT's wheel him away on a stretcher. In the ring, Xplode is still being tended to as the feed slowly pans out.
Reaching under the ring, Xplode pulls out a barbed wire 2x4! He raises it up for the fans' approval! Cheering, the fans support him as he rolls back into the ring! Brett Black stirs for a time as he stumbles to his feet. Xplode waits..
Xplode brings the barbed wire stick down upon Black's head!
Aiello: HOLY SHIT!!!! THE EWC CHAMPION IS PISSED!
Xplode repeatedly brings the stick down hard on to Brett Black. Once Brett is down, Xplode straddles him and begins to rub the barbed wire across his forehead in a sawing motion! Blood begins to spew from Brett Black's forehead as Xplode goes to work! Rolling into the ring, Tara Michaels yanks on Xplode's hair! Xplode tosses the stick aside and stands back up…
Xplode brings Tara Michaels in... and nails the Drop zone on her too!!!
Xplode raises the EWC Championship over his head. Grabbing a microphone... he speaks..
Xplode: Hey Brett? This is the game that you have chosen to play.... these are YOUR rules... remember? (Panting) Fine. We play for keeps. Wrestlefest.... (Panting)... YOUR ASS IS MINE!!!
"I stand alone" by Godsmack begins to play as Xplode raises the championship again. Shadow Man nods in his direction and exits the ring. Still laying in a pool of blood is Brett Black and across the ring is Tara Michaels.. unconscious.
Aiello: THIS IS INSANE!!! Wrestlefest is going to be amazing! These two men have tossed aside all rhyme and reason and now there can only be one true end result…
Piven: ....and one true EWC Champion.
The feed zooms in on Xplode as he celebrates... and then it fades out.
Mystery Man: This feud between Brett Black and Xplode started personal and intensified rather quickly.
Colin Hanks: In just a few minutes, everything is about to get as real as it gets. This EWC Championship Match has so much on the line.
Mystery Man: Will Xplode enact his revenge against Brett Black inside Hell in a Cell and retain his EWC Championship.
Colin Hanks: Or will Brett Black continue his quest and detrone Xplode to become our New EWC Champion.
The Hell in a Cell Structure inches it’s way closer to the ring as the anticipation from the fans can he heard and felt in their cheers.
A thick fog begins to cover the stage area as the audience reacts uncomfortably. We hear the sounds of crows cawing, screaming in annoyance, as the fog continues to spew forth, rising into the arena and heading out towards the fans. The lights slowly dim down, until we barely can see anything at all....
The video screen suddenly lights up…
"Jurassitol" by Rob Zombie begins to play as the ramp area slowly illuminates, letting off a dark crimson red beam of flood lights. Slowly turning to face the top of the stage, the music continues to play as the crowd stands to their feet, the entire arena silent due to feelings of uneasiness. Stepping through the arena entrance, Tara Michaels steps out onto the stage taking her place on the side. She looks out at the fans before staring back at the entrance..
Brett Black slowly rises up, elevated through the stage, his face hidden under a thick hooded robe.
The fans react loudly as Black slowly walks down the rampway, his entrance theme song playing it's chorus. Tara Michaels follows as Brett passes and she stops just before ee stops at ringside and looks at the mighty structure known as Hell In A Cell. Black grabs the Cell and shakes it with all of his might before walking through the cell door. He than looks into the wrestling ring before him, Jessica Stroup his focus.
Jessica Stroup: Introducing first the challenger, standing in at six foot five inches tall, weighing in at two hundred and ninety-five pounds, Hailing from New Orleans, “The Candy Man” BRETT BLACK!!!
Black walks up the metal steps and enters the ring. He turns to face the fans and lets the robe slide off of him. Holding his arms out and embracing the responses in the arena, the lights suddenly come back on. He then walks over to the corner of the ring and finds a seat on the mat, his arms drooped over the bottom ropes. Tara Michaels steps through the cell door hesitant at first, but with a deep breath she makes makes her way to the corner of Brett Black. The two strategizing their game plan.
Mystery Man: Is there a chance that we’re looking at our newest EWC Champion?
Colin Hanks: Anything can happen inside Hell In A Cell, only thing I can guarantee is to expect the unexpected. Black does have a thirty pound weight advantage.
“The Enemy” by Godsmack begins to play! The crowd stands up to their feet as the arena lights fade to a crimson red! The arena starts to shake due to the responses from the fans as Jessica Stroup raises a microphone to her lips
Jessica Stroup: And lastly, Standing in at six feet four inches tall, weighing in at two hundred and sixty five pounds, residing from San Francisco, California, your reigning EWC Champion, “The Destroyer of Worlds” XPLODE!!!
The crowd continues to shout loudly as a fog machine covers the entrance. Flames erupt from each side of the stage. Stepping out into view, Xplode looks out at the fans with a smirk on his face. He looks ripped, sweat dripping down the sides of his forehead. The EWC Title is buckled around his waist, sparkling under the arena lights. His hands are heavily taped and a thick knee brace is buckled over his right knee.
Walking to the ramp, he proceeds down to the ring. Behind him, above the stage, a zoomed in image of his determined face is highlighted within a red spotlight. He keeps his eyes on the ring in the distance as he walks down the ramp way. Fans reach out to touch him as he continues forward, ignoring their gestures. Once ringside, Xplode locks eyes with Brett Black in the corner. He grabs ahold of the Cell and just like Black shakes it with all of his might. Xplode glances once more at the fans nearby before stepping up on the ring apron. He then turns to face the fans, his face without any emotion. Slowly, Xplode removes the EWC Title from around his waist and proceeds to raise it over his head, causing a thunderous response from the fans!
Xplode enters the ring. As camera flashes reflect from off of his large upper torso, Xplode stares at the championship belt one more time before handing it to head referee Paul Turner. He then tugs on the top rope twice and cracks his neck, turning to face Brett Black.
Mystery Man: Here he is folks, our reigning EWC Champion Xplode.
Colin Hanks: That right knee is heavily wrapped, but Xplode has a look of determination across his face.
Mystery Man: Even with his knee the way it is, if anybody can walk out of this Hell In A Cell match still standing on his own two feet as the EWC Champion, it’s Xplode.
Colin Hanks: This is going to be brutal. Ring the damn bell already.
Head Referee Paul Turner positions himself in the middle of the ring and raises the EWC Championship into the air. The EWC Universe pops with excitement and anticipation as Brett Black and Xplode continue to stare one another down. Paul Turner hands the belt to a ring official who quickly exits through the cell door. Turner closes the door behind him and wraps a steel chain around it before fastening the lock. He makes his way back into the ring and positions himself in the middle of the ring before signaling for the bell.
Bell Rings: At the sound of the bell Xplode and Brett Black meet in the middle of the ring standing nose to nose as the crowd is in a state of excitement. Black smirks at Xplode before reaching back and slapping Xplode across the face. Xplode doesn’t budge taking the full force of the slap, he looks back at Brett before a grin creeps across his face. Xplode turns his head and immediately fires back with a stiff right hand to the jaw of Black. Just like Xplode Black doesn’t budge and takes the full force of the stiff right hand. Black then fires a knee strike into the midsection of Xplode and sends him into the ropes with an irish whip. Xplode bounces back and ducks the clothesline attempt from Black. Black continues his momentum charging towards the ropes and bounces back right into a back body drop from Xplode taking him down to the mat. Xplode stays on the attack bouncing off the ropes and connecting with a falling knee drop across the face of Black.
Mystery Man: Xplode and Brett Black stood in the middle of the ring at the opening bell and traded a slap and a stiff right hand.
Colin Hanks: Neither man budged at the attempt from their opponent, this battle is going to be Epic.
Xplode makes his way back up to his feet and grabs Black by his hair pulling him back up to his own feet. Xplode delivers a stiff kick to the midsection of Black and sends him to the corner with an irish whip. Xplode charges forward and connects with a clothesline just as Black hits the turnbuckle. Xplode quickly sends Black across the ring to the opposite corner and catches him with another clothesline just as Black hits the turnbuckle. Black slouches against the turnbuckle as Xplode works over the midsection of Black with rights and lefts. Xplode grabs Black by the hair and pulls him to the middle of the ring driving his knee deep into his midsection. Xplode grabs Black and takes him down to the ring with a suplex. Xplode stays on top of the attack with a series of vicious stomps to the body of Black keeping him grounded on the mat. Black has a smile on his face begging Xplode for more, screaming at the top of his lungs, “GIVE ME MORE JADEN!!!”. Xplode charges for the ropes and bounces back connecting with an elbow drop across the sternum of Black.
Mystery Man: EWC Champion Xplode has firm control of Brett Black in the beginning of this Hell In A Cell Match for the EWC Championship.
Colin Hanks: Did you hear Brett Black screaming at Xplode to give him more punishment, this man is twisted?
Mystery Man: Yes I did Colin, Brett Black was taunting Xplode, but Xplode is not easily rattled and he’ll dish out all the punishment that Brett Black can take and then some.
Xplode makes his way back up to his feet as Tara Michaels begins to yell at Brett Black to get back up to his feet. Xplode flips Tara off and delivers another elbow drop across the sternum of Black. Xplode locks in a headlock and taunts Tara as he applies pressure to Black. Black begins to slowly make his way back up to his feet as Xplode continues to apply the pressure, but Black fights through it and makes his way back up to his feet. Black grabs the hair of Xplode before lifting him into the air and taking him down to the mat with a back suplex. Black pops back up to his feet and locks in a headlock of his own applying the pressure. Xplode quickly maneuvers his way back up to his feet and attempts to break Black’s hold, but Black quickly takes Xplode back down to the mat with a headlock takedown. Black locks on the pressure pulling back on the head of Xplode as Tara Michaels screams at Xplode to “GIVE UP ALREADY!” Xplode flips Tara off again causing her to frown. Black releases the headlock and quickly makes his way back up to his feet before driving his knee into the back of Xplode’s head leaving him down and out in the middle of the ring.
Mystery Man: That was a vicious knee drop to the back of Xplode’s head. Tara Michaels had Xplode distracted and Black took full advantage of it.
Colin Hanks: Brett Black has the advantage with Tara Michaels in his corner, she will continue to be a factor here tonight.
Xplode starts to stir down on the mat and slowly makes his way back up to his feet as Black charges out of the corner and connects with a nasty big big boot to the face of Xplode. Black makes the cover and the ref gets down to make the count,
1
but Xplode kicks out right at the count of one. Black grabs Xplode by the head and pulls him back up to his feet and sends him to the ropes with an irish whip. Black charges right behind Xplode and sends him flying over the top rope with a stiff clothesline off the rebound. Xplode hits the outside floor face first as Black throws his arms to the side pressing his chest against the ropes. He screams out to the crowd. “HE HAS LIED TO ALL OF YOU PEOPLE, XPLODE IS A LLLLIIIAAARRRRR”. Black makes his way through the ropes standing onto the apron looking down at Xplode. Xplode starts to stir down on the mat pushing his body off the floor as Black leaps into the air connecting with a senton splash across the back of Xplode off the apron.
Mystery Man: Did you just see that senton splash off the apron? Two hundred and ninety-five pounds crashing down across your back is just devastating.
Colin Hanks: The three foot height advantage just adds to the impact of all that weight crashing down against your back.
Mystery Man: Black now has firm control of this match with Xplode flat out on his chest on the outside floor.
Black grabs Xplode by the head and forces him back up to his feet before diving him face first into the cell wall with an irish whip. Black charges forward and connects with a body splash cementing Xplode into the cell wall. Black steps back as Xplode slides down the cell wall crumbling to the outside floor. Black walks in small circles with his arms to the side yelling out, “I TOLD YOU ALL WHAT WOULD HAPPEN, YOU ALL DID NOT LISTEN TO MY WORDS, LOOK AT YOUR EWC CHAMPION”. Black makes his way back over to Xplode and places his knee into the lower back of Xplode and grabs him head locking in a rear naked choke. Xplode snaps back to life screaming out from the pain as Black continues to dig his knee into the lower back of Xplode. Black continues to taunt Xplode before releasing the hold and pulling Xplode back up to his feet.
