[OOC: So I completely missed the deadline for Night of Champions. I was dealing with some family drama, but we all know that I am not the type to no show. In fact, I have the roleplay finished for that match right here. I wrote it, so I may as well share it with everyone. Noting that I have NOT read anyone else's roleplays, let alone the PPV yet.]
Jason: How is she taking it this time?
Shelley shrugged, looking over to Kim.
Shelley: Eve is a very formidable opponent, and we all knew that going into that match. She’s still a little sore, but she doesn’t seem to mind that she lost to her.
Jason nodded with a relieved sigh.
Jason: So like when she lost to Kinsley and Dubois?
Shelley nodded.
Jason: I just wish that she took losing to me and Atlas like that.
Shelley blinked, sucking her bottom lip into her mouth and biting down on it as she glanced over at Kim and Angel.
Jason: What? Is there something that I don’t know?
Shelley: Jason… sweetie… Kim was never upset with losing those matches. She’s just annoyed with the fact that people accuse her of not being able to separate business and personal in those matches.
Jason: She didn’t. I mean, she…
Shelley held her hand up, stopping him.
Shelley: If you are talking about the fact that she kissed you during your first match against each other, you are taking it all wrong. She used all of that as a distraction against you. She was keeping it a thousand percent professional against you because quite honestly, she didn’t even know that there were any issues between you back then. She was completely oblivious and totally into the match. She was very much trying. I’m just ashamed of you for not noticing it.
I mean, seriously Jason, you took the girl’s virginity. You should know her better than that.
Shelley shrugged as her Uber pulled up and she got into it.
Sloane: Did you have a nice trip?
Shelley: Yeah, travelling hasn’t seemed like so much of a chore since I’ve been able to afford first class, and treat it like it’s nothing.
Sloane chuckled, nodding.
Sloane: I hear that.
It had to be nice to hang out with wrestlers who you know that, without a doubt, have absolutely no interest in your title.
Shelley chuckled as she picked up a slice of pizza, taking a bite as she sat at one of the barstools.
Shelley: Such a relief. Like, I knew going into this, when it comes to ANY title in wrestling, you automatically have a target on your back. I mean, Griffin has wanted a shot at it since the last time I held it.
Sloane: Wellings, too.
Shelley pointed at her friend, nodding.
Shelley: That’s right, him too. Especially now that Derek has this goal of holding each of the titles by the end of the year.
Sloane: Which is desirable, but he’s got four months left, and has only held one. He’s got five to go, including tag titles, and I am fairly sure that no one wants to team up with him.
Shelley: Not that I am aware of, anyway. I mean, he’s constantly sucking Jaden’s cock, possibly literally, but I’m not so sure that Jaden would be interested in teaming up.
Sloane laughed.
Sloane: That reminds me of what Derek said about you before that tag match.
Shelley rolled her eyes, nodding.
Shelley: I’m more than used to hearing stuff like that with Mark’s name involved. I just ignore it now. Now Luke, on the other hand, I didn’t see that coming. Plus, it’s not like I’ve ever even done that.
Sloane nearly choked on her pizza, laughing.
Sloane: You’ve never taken it in the ass?
Shelley shrugged, shaking her head.
Shelley: You know that I don’t like toys, and I haven’t done much with guys yet.
Anyway, it’s not like my interaction with Luke was ever like that. At the same time, this is Derek. I know that he totally admires and respects me. It just always goes to deviant sexual acts with him.
Sloane: How long has he been widowed?
Shelley: About a year, but it seems that he’s always been like this.
Sloane nodded with a chuckle.
Sloane: So you’ve got a nice little target on your back.
Shelley: Yup! All pretty and shiny.
It comes with the territory, though. I knew that it was coming. Even last time. And it’s not that I wasn’t ready for it. I just didn’t bring as much as I should have. That’s not going to happen again, though.
Sloane paused, putting her current slice down.
Sloane: Well this time, you don’t have to worry about The Endless Walk.
Shelley: True, but there is still Anarchy ‘16. I tried to do a ‘call to arms’ once where they are concerned. No one seemed to even begin to respond. So I guess that we’re alone on that one.
Sloane: In the meantime, what about your promo?
Shelley grinned, finishing a slice of pizza.
Shelley: I have a few ideas for that.
Sloane: I can’t wait.
Shelley: I almost feel like I am beating Griffin to the punch. He’s known for trying to experiment in his opponents culture. This is really the only aspect of my heritage that I have revealed is this one. So Griffin will visit a reservation, but more than likely not this one, despite him being more than welcome here. My brother is the chief, and he knows that Griffin is my friend.
It will be comical to a point, but I am sure that he will learn a few good things about my culture.
At the same time, I’m sure that you have all noticed that my skin is a little more… white than most Native Americans.
She smirked, snapping her fingers as there was a jump cut to Shelley in what appeared to be a cafe. She wore a t-shirt that read “Italian American Girl”. In front of her was a bowl of pasta and a glass of red wine.
Shelley: Yup. You heard it here first. I’m half Native American, half Italian American. My mother’s maiden name is Gambino.
She smirked, licking her lips.
Shelley: That does bring up another member of the EWC roster. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a match at Night of Champions. That doesn’t mean that I can’t talk about him, though. I’m the United States Champion, I can do whatever I want.
I’ve seen his opponents calling him “fake”, and Vinny just doesn’t seem to understand what they are saying.
You see, Mister Gigante, not only are you acting like a mob boss from another era, but you are way too open about it. That’s like the first rule of joining any mafia.
You do not admit to it publicly. Unless somehow you are not committing crimes on a daily basis, you do not want to advertise who you are on a public forum. I am honestly surprised that the FBI hasn’t come in during one of your matches and nabbed you right in the middle, causing you to lose via countout.
Maybe Danny Mac needs to screen his potential employees a little better.
Shelley paused, shrugging as she picked up her glass of wine and took a sip, standing up.
Shelley: Now how about we get to Night of Champions? All but one of the championships will be on the line. That one being the Television title. That particular didn’t is reserved for regular television.
To start off the night, the FSW title will be defended by their new champion, Dixie Dubois against the number one contender, Freddie Styles. One of the best rookies in the company against a guy who just can’t quite seem to connect the dots.
Next up, it’s the tag titles. The unlikely duo of Gabreal Martin and Luke Wolfe are defending against Donkey Punch. Now the current tag team champions can’t stand one another. In fact, they are in rival factions. I say that the twins, with very little experience, actually deserve to win here. The best thing about this match is that it’s going to wear down Luke Wolfe for his other match on the card.
Shelley smirked, winking.
Shelley: Then we have the brutal Nurse Kinsley defending her X-Division title against the girl whom I recently beat to become the United States Champion. Sure, Kinsley is something right of or horror movie or video game, but she actually backs it up. I’m not so sure that Alexis is quite ready to come back and win another title so soon.
I’ll get back to the next match after I cover the other two…
Fan favorite bail bondsman Tony Savage is going to defend the International title against another top rookie in Drake. Now normally, I wouldn’t bat an eyelash against one of Savage’s opponents, but I fully believe that Drake will be giving him a run for his money.
That Drake is a smart cookie. He recognized me as one of the best here in EWC.
Shelley giggled as she snapped her fingers and appeared back on the reservation, in the same warrior princess wear from before.
Shelley: Then we have our main event. Wolfey isn’t the only one with a second match Monday. Nurse Kinsley has slithered her way into being the next lucky bitch to go against the one and only Xplode for the EWC Unified Heavyweight Championship.
I really can’t make a prediction on that one. Both are unstoppable forces, and I can’t wait to see that what they do to each other.
Then there is match number four…
Shelley pulled and arrow out of her quiver and placed it against her hand as she lined it up in the bow perfectly. She pulled her arm back as the camera swung around and showed the view over her shoulder to see a traditional target. She slowly pulled the end of the arrow back with the string of the bow and let out a calming breath before letting go. There were no cuts shown as she waited in position as the arrow landed exactly in the middle of the target. She smiled as the camera swung back around in front of her.
Shelley: I think that we all know that I have one of those on my back. Everyone wants what I’ve got. I hear it on a weekly basis. Everyone just wants a shot. Well, I say “bring it on!”
She paused, chuckling.
Shelley: Not only am I getting to defend my title against one man, but I get to take out two this time. Just like when I won it the first time last year.
At the last pay-per-view, things were very close. My friend, Griffin Hawkins took on my...
Shelley shook her head, sighing.
Shelley: Derek was just as far away from right as he was close to it.
Luke Wolfe and myself… this is a long time coming. We have a lot in common. He’s my go-to when I talk about other fighters in the company. I stand by everything that I have said about him, too. Going about everything the exact wrong way. Surrounding himself with the biggest losers in order to look like a bad guy.
Shelley took a deep breath and sighed.
Shelley: Problem is… he’s not.
Luke Wolfe keeps trying to wear the pelt of the black sheep. I fully believe that is his biggest downfall. He’s not a bad guy. He just tries to act bad while surrounding himself with whiny, pathetic wannabes, who are worse at pretending to be bad than he is. Not only has he not been able to hold onto any of his lackeys, but I was able to beat most of them without batting an eyelash. Which is a shame, because I love flirting with my opponents. Then there’s Luke…
Wolfey, I may flirt with you a bit, but that’s just my personality. My normal tricks won’t work in this match, though. Both Wolfey and Griffin aren’t the type of men I am about to seduce, they’re spoken for, and I respect their women. One thing that I am glad about is that their babies are nowhere near old enough for me to have to apologize ahead of time for what I am about to do to their daddies. They’re not big enough to understand just yet. They probably won’t even be watching. It’s past their bedtime!
Griffin. Hawkins.
Shelley shook her head.
Shelley: Everyone knows that we are friends out of the ring. However, inside the ring…
I have no friends.
I have my reasons for this. Those reasons expand outside of EWC.
What I am about to do to the two of you… you won’t see coming. I have never taken anything so seriously in my life. I am going to hold onto this title tighter than Xplode hangs onto his.
And don’t worry about your hair, Griffin. I know that a lot of girls end up resorting to that, but that’s just not my style. Now your pretty faces, on the other hand…
Those will just be collateral damage. Just another reason you both are going to be very glad that your children aren’t old enough to understand most things. You will going home on Tuesday with cuts, bruises, and swollen eyes.
And it’s nothing personal… I just plan do whatever is necessary to hold onto my title.
Afterall…
Shelley pulls another arrow out of her quiver and shoots another bullseye, splitting the previous arrow.
Shelley: I’ve got a target on my back.
See you Monday, Raindrops.
Shelley smirked as she winked and blew a kiss at the camera.

Kim and Jason Hunter’s apartment
Returning after the last show before NOC
Shelley Silver pulled up in the parking lot at Enterprise with Kim Hunter, ready to return the car that they had used to drive to Colorado. Soon after Shelley walked out of the building to pay the bill and return the keys, Jason pulled up with Angel. Kim went straight to greeting the two year old after giving her husband a hug and a kiss, leading Jason to walk over to Shelley. He chuckled, shaking his head as he kissed Shelley on the cheek as she brought a single arm around him.Jason: How is she taking it this time?
Shelley shrugged, looking over to Kim.
Shelley: Eve is a very formidable opponent, and we all knew that going into that match. She’s still a little sore, but she doesn’t seem to mind that she lost to her.

Shelley’s house in Burien, WA
Strategizing
Shelley and Sloane pulled up at their house after Sloane picked Shelley up at the airport. With the different time zones, it was just dinner time when Shelley had arrived in Seattle and they had a pizza ordered and on it’s way to the house when they got there. Shelley had time to run her bag up to her room by the time that the pizza arrived. Sloane was waiting her in the kitchen when Shelley came down.Sloane: Did you have a nice trip?

Duwamish Reservation in Seattle, WA
Standing Tall
Shelley Silver stood in the middle of a field, dressed in what could be interpreted as a modern day or contemporary Native American warrior princess fashion. She wore the markings of her tribe and had a quiver on her back and a bow in hand. She smirked as she took a deep breath, preparing herself to speak.Shelley: I almost feel like I am beating Griffin to the punch. He’s known for trying to experiment in his opponents culture.
