"And so it was that man felt like a God because he discovered fire... though in truth it was a gift given to him, by the true Gods up high. Man's greed spurred their wrath.. and the Gods introduced them to War." - Hermes.
The feed opens up as we see a beach. Waves softly crash upon the sands, rolling back out as quickly as they arrive. In the distance, the Golden Gate Bridge is seen, the gate way to the bay area in Northern California. Walking into view, dressed in white slacks and a half unbuttoned white silk shirt is Xplode, his sunglasses shielding his eyes from the elements. Draped over his shoulder is the EWC Undisputed Championship, the sunlight reflecting off of it's metal buckle. Holding on to the strap with one hand, X smirks as he looks at the viewer... and then he speaks:
"Liars. They are fun, aren't they? You know, my way of doing business has never been to cut these little informational segments. I understand that the public enjoys them, but worrying about public opinions have never really been my thing. How people speak about me, not my concern either. I get the job done every time that I step into that ring. That's where the truth lies. Not on the lips of fools... but on the battlefield. That's my creed. Every now and then however, someone comes along that causes me to shift gears a little bit. Now, before you go and assume that I am talking about who you THINK I am talking about.. I suggest you sit back and listen. You see, today is about clearing the air. Today... is about getting the TRUTH out into the open."
Xplode looks out into the horizon, readjusting the title belt on his shoulder.
"The world sees this strap on my shoulder, and they dream of owning it. I understand that completely because I did too one day. The difference between me and the world is that I went out and achieved that goal. I didn't waste time with telling stories or going into business for myself. I played by the rules and beat every chump that was placed before me. That's how winning is done. That's how champions are created. That's the formula. Unfortunately, men like Luke Wolfe feel like they can leap frog the competition by going on to Brawl... and ruining good television with useless lies and threats. I mean, I will give credit where credit is due, he won himself a couple of straps. That's an accomplishment. I won't mention that I had already done the SAME thing a few years ago, but he deserves a pat on the ass just the same, right? Anyway, he goes out on television and suddenly feels the courage enough to challenge me... as if he has earned that right. Unbelievable.
I usually ignore these types of things. Being the top name in the business, this happens a lot to me. The thing is, he walked out unto MY show... and told stories about me that I find are inexcusable. That doesn't get a free pass. Luke Wolfe's intentions were to draw me out of the back and to challenge him. He failed in that regard because I simply do not see him as a challenge. I had already handed him his ass on a silver platter. I don't know if he felt that I would look at him any differently since winning those two belts... but that just isn't the case. As a matter of fact, he is now more of a joke in my eyes than ever. He should have stuck to playing with small fires and forming gangs...."
Xplode looks to his right as his son Jason enters into view. X hands him the championship and then looks back at the camera.
"I will NOT be facing Wolfe anytime soon because he simply doesn't deserve it. Acting like a whiny bitch won't make that happen. Results do. He has gone undefeated for a few months... where I have done so for over a damn year. He tried the tried and true method of saying that I only complete monthly like that hasn't been done before... but I will say it again. I put more asses in those seats in one appearance than he does in a month. When I step into that ring, it's an event. It's an accomplishment. Just like with Muhammad Ali, or even with Mike Tyson... when they were on the fight card, history was being made. Management doesn't carry me or hand me easy wins... I just make those wins look easy. That includes the win that I had against him as well. Add all of this up and that sums up how I feel about that fool. No one is running from him. Well, I take that back. I have heard that Luke tends to ignore his hygiene frequently. The locker room is known to clear out when he enters it on occasion. That includes his little boy band.. Anarchy 16'."
Xplode laughs.
"Have they even caused any Anarchy yet?"
Ruthann Parks enters into view now and kisses Xplode on the cheek. X places his arm around her shoulder and speaks.
"As you can see, my life is where it needs to be. This beach that I am standing on... it's mine. This woman standing next to me... my wife. My son that you just saw, he is the next big thing in this business. NOTHING that Luke says matters in that regard. So walking out unto my show and making an ass out of himself won't change a thing. As a matter of fact, it only added to his resume of being a crybaby. I have given him more attention than he truly deserves. Liars deserve nothing... and Luke is a liar. He creates no Anarchy. He stirs no controversy beyond his sexual preferences... and ratings sink into the toilet once his face is on the television screen. Rampage is by no means... HIS show. There is plenty of talent on that brand who will eventually dismiss him and his pajama wearing ass. That's it... that's Luke. Game over. Now that I have got that out of the way, let's get to the reason that I am filming this today."
X pats Ruthann on the ass and she smiles before walking away. He then looks at the camera as a suitcase is placed at his feet. Jason Hunter opens it, exposing large amounts of cash.
"I am issuing a challenge of my own. You see, Rumble in the Bronx is almost here. I happen to know a little bit about that event... seeing as I won the damn thing a few years ago. One lucky person will have his or her hand raised, and earn a shot at me and my championship. Now, before you say anything about Drake... let's avoid that joke and just assume that he will be dealt with. As I was saying, my challenge is this. I will offer 500 Thousand dollars of cold hard cash to the person who breaks Luke Wolfe's leg. This is just chump change to me but for many, it's more than they will see in their careers. You see, while I am above his pitiful threats, a lesson must be taught all the same. Whomever breaks his leg will not only get the money, but will have their very careers changed in the process. Trust me.. that's a big deal. The bonus to it all, is that the person who achieves this will also be known as the one who finally took out that trash."
Jason hands X the championship once again. X buckles it around his waist. Then Jason hands X the EWC World Title and the World Heavyweight Championships that he had previously unified. Ruthann Parks walks back into view holding Xplode's IPW Championship.
"Luke.. you brought this upon yourself. You pulled on Superman's cape.. and you now have my attention. Brag about all of the titles that you won recently. I would do the same thing if I was you. Just don't forget that NOTHING that you have ever done is new. I did it before you... and better than you. These titles that you see right here? These are mine. I own the damn world. Until you can offer me something bigger to win than that... you are going to have to go back to doing what everyone else does.... earning it. I have allowed you to rebuild your career and to become respectable. Now due to your greed... I introduce you to War. It's MY name that is at the top of the rankings and MY belt that gets the respect in this industry. You're just a bit player in all of this.. so accept your role. Oh, and I would watch your back at the Rumble if I was you. Money can cause even those whom you consider a friend to do crazy things.."
Xplode laughs loudly as Ruthann Parks smiles. Jason pats his Father on the shoulder and the Hunter family stands united proudly. The feed slowly fades out.
