(The scene opens outside of an old building with red double wooden doors located in a rough part of Chattanooga, Tennessee. In front of the doors is a beautiful young woman with long red curly hair with pink lipstick and a pair of dark sunglasses covering her eyes.. With a nice slender body, she sports blue jeans, black heeled leather boots, and wearing a University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Mocassins T-Shirt. She now takes off the sunglasses to reveal her sparkly blue eyes as the girl, who is Alexis Nicole "Lexie" Glass, age 20, speaks in front of the camera for the first time.)
LG: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Alexis Glass, but my friends and family members call me Lexie. I will real soon be wrestling for Future Superstars of Wrestling in Extreme Wrestling Corporation. I am so super excited about this new journey. I will be off soon, but I thought I'd say goodbye to some people that are very dear to me as well as show you all where I came from. Right now, I am at the Emily Sparks School of Wrestling.
In my freshman year of high school, I started hanging out with a new crowd of friends. Instead of attending school, I was cutting classes and going to some friends houses where we'd play cards, smoke cigarettes, and sometimes even pot, and drink alcohol, among other things. We won't get into that. Sorry. But inside is a lady who believed in me, and really changed my life. She helped to get me back on the right track. I don't smoke pot anymore, I seldom drink, but do have a cigarette every now and then. I know I need to quit altogether. But not so easy when my Mom smokes like a pack in a half a day.
(Lexie walks through the doors into a big room with worn down walls and sporting several punching bags being punched by several different young ladies. In the middle of the room is an old time wrestling ring where two young ladies are performing wrestling maneuvers on one another. She walks to a blonde haired woman in her late 30s wearing an old XFnW Wrestling T-Shirt, black sweatpants, and old pair of sneakers with her hair in a ponytail. The two hug one another.)
LG: This is my wrestling coach, Emily Sparks. She has wrestled in the past in USWF, XFnW, TCW, and ASW. I remember as a kid watching her on TV. Then, we met one day and talked. She took a chance on me and agreed to train me.
ES: Yeah, it has been a real joy to have Lexie as my student. She is quite gifted and talented, to say the least. (Video footage is shown of Lexie doing some wrestling moves in the ring with another young woman.) I know most teachers say this about certain students, but I say with all sincerity when I say that Lexie Glass is the best student that has ever walked into Emily Sparks School of Wrestling. I sure am going to miss seeing her around, but I am so very happy for her to have this opportunity to wrestle professionally.
(A scene is cut outside of the building where the two ladies are in tears as they embrace one another.)
LG: I am gonna miss you, Coach.
ES: I am going to miss you, too, Lexie. But we will keep in touch. You be careful out there and take care. I know you will do great things.
LG: I love you, Coach.
ES: Love you, too.
(Lexie enters the driver's side of a 2012 dark blue Mustang and is driving off. A shot of her is now shown wiping away tears from her eyes.)
LG: I am so sorry. But Coach Sparks was more than just a wrestling coach to me. She became like a sister to me. She became my best friend. It is so hard to leave my best friend like that. I know we will talk every day on the phone and we will see each other every once in a while, but still tough. You know? Now I have one more stop to make before I start my new journey into the World of Professional Wrestling.
(In a suburban neighborhood outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Lexie pulls into the driveway of a nice tan two story brick house with red roof. Walking outside is Lexie's mother, Robyn Hurst, who is 37 years old, and has the same red hair and blue eye color as her daughter. However, her hair is straight and at shoulder length. She is wearing a gray dress with white flower pattern and a white belt and pair of white high heels, and holding a Marlboro Gold cigarette. She puts the cigarette out as she walks over to Lexie's car. Lexie exits the car and gives her mother a hug.)
RH: Hi, baby.
LG: Hi, Mom. I thought I'd stop by and say goodbye to you guys before I leave out. Also introduce the World to my family.
RH: Well, your father and sister are inside watching TV. So we will go in there.
(Inside entering the front door is a big living room. Seated in front of the couch watching the Daytona 500 race is Lexie's adopted father, Dr. Benton Hurst, age 56, and her little sister, Erin Marie, age 11. Dr. Hurst has dark brown hair with some gray and a gray goatee beard. He is wearing a white dress shirt, black dress pants, and black dress socks, smoking a pipe. Her sister, Erin, is wearing a pair of blue jeans, Frozen T-Shirt, and white socks.)
LG: This is my father, Dr. Benton Hurst, and my baby sister, Erin.
BH: Hey, baby. How are you?
LG: I'm good, daddy.
EH: Lexie, who is this guy and why is he holding a camera for?
LG: Because that is his job. He is a cameraman, and shooting a video about me.
EH: We gonna be on TV?
LG: Yep.
EH: YAY!!!!! WE GONNA BE ON TV!!!!!!
BH: You keep it down a little, honey? Daddy's trying to watch the race.
(Next scene is of Lexie seated on the coach between her mother and her father.)
BH: We honestly weren't too keen on Lexie giving up college to pursue this dream of her's in professional wrestling. We cannot tell you the number of times we argued about it.
RH: Then her wrestling coach, Emily Sparks, came by and talked to us. She told us how gifted Lexie is as this wrestling thing. She also said that there are ways she can still go to school and be a professional wrestler, if she so chooses. After we talked to her and talked to Lexie, we realized that who the hell were we to keep her from pursuing her dream? We want you to finish college, Lexie. Don't get us wrong. But we also want you to be happy. And if being a professional wrestler makes you happy, it makes us happy.
LG: Thanks, Mama.
(Lexie then hugs her mother.)
LG: I hope you guys know I may be on the road performing this Summer, so I might not be able to do our Florida vacation this time.
RH: We'll understand.
BH: It's okay. Every year since Lexie was a little girl, we'd pack up the car, and go down to Sanford, Florida where my brother, Brantley, his wife, Tessie, and their kids live. We stay a couple days with them before we go and spend a couple of days in Orlando and do Disney World and Sea World. It is like one of our traditions the Hurst family have.
LG: But how will Erin take it if I can't come?
RH: She'll be alright. She can ride some rides with Madison and Teagan.
LG: Madison is my 17 year old cousin, and Teagan, he is my other cousin who is 14. Maddie and I, we are so very close. When I called her the other day to tell her I was signed to the FSW roster in EWC, she said she got so excited that she dropped her cigarette on her leg and burnt herself. She said that she now wants to be a professional wrestler. I told her that it will take a lot of training and work, and a lot of time out of her social life. I thought that'd discourage her. But I think that she still wants to do it.
(Dr. Benton Hurst walks down the hallway and enters one of the rooms to the left where it is his office/man cave. Inside of the room is a desk and chair with his laptop, papers, and other office supplies. On the wall is one of his degrees from Northwestern University. Also in the room is a 55' Flat Screen TV on the wall, and there is a shelf with memorbilia of his favorite teams the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Northwestern Wildcats.)
BH: This is my office slash man cave. Not only do I do work in here, but I also watch football and baseball games as my wife is not really a sports fan. I also keep my most valued collectibles in here, too. Autographed footballs, baseballs, and look at this over here.
(Dr. Hurst shows framed and mounted on the wall framed up a Chicago Bears jersey signed by the late Walter Peyton.)
BH: That's right. I have a Chicago Bears jersey right there signed by the late Walter Peyton, himself. It is my most prized possession that I have. Well, I can't say that. It is really a close second.
(Now Dr. Hurst goes out into the garage where there is a car covered up with a large black tarp. He removes it to reveal a cherry red 1972 Gran Torino.)
BH: This is my baby right here. I found it online, and I just had to have it. Lexie and I restored the whole thing together. We had fun doing so. But I don't let her drive it very often. Hell, I don't drive it very often, either.
(The last scene is Lexie and her family hugging one another and giving out tearful goodbyes. She tells her mother, father, and sister that she loves them, and they tell her they love her, too. She gets into her Mustang and drives out of the driveway. Last shot is of her wiping away tears right before she speaks into the camera for the last time in this segment.)
LG: I guess this is it. My journey into FSW begins. Next time you all see me will be in an FSW Wrestling ring. (Lexie blows a kiss into the camera and smiles.) MUAH!!!!!!!
