Jason Anderson The Boss and Amis FN Shelton like this
Post by MNB on Apr 3, 2017 21:58:26 GMT -6
The scene opens with a limo pulling up at the arena. The driver parked the car and walked out to the back door to reveal Kimi Smalls, A$hley Quid, Chris Constantine and Jack Tillman, then after a few moments, Jason Hunter emerges last. Jason was wearing a suit, proudly displaying a roll of staples on the side of his face he has received from his match at Stranglemania. He fixes his suit looking over at the two with his hands in his pockets.
Jason: Out of respect for the two of you, I have made the choice NOT to come to your playground and cause the chaos I would like to do. Instead, I am going to stand back and let you have at it. So tonight go in there and don’t get lost among a sea of wrestlers. Even though we lost at Stranglemania, we put on a great show. Something that we have been trying to do all along.
Kimi glares over at him a bit.
Kimi: Not all of us! I should have been in that match no matter what! Injury for not! I still disagree with you about that Jason. You shouldn’t have put Freddie in my place!
Jason looks over at Kimi with a bit of a glare and darkness within his eyes.
Jason: You were hurt by Moors Murders the week before! Legion would have smelled blood in the water and they would have broken you!
Jack then gently placed his hand on Kimi's shoulder as she scoffed, bringing the raging twenty-one-year-old behind him as he looked up at Jason. He was displaying his wounds just as proudly as he glares at Jason.
Jack: I agree with her, Jason. I believe you made the wrong call, mate. You need to stop treating your wife like a dainty little flower.
Jason smirked at him, ready to rumble with one of his stablemates but that was when Chris got between them.
Chris: Guys, this isn't what we need right now! What happened that night is in the past now. Jack... Kimi... Tonight you have to make it know why you're two of the best among this roster. A$hley and I will talk with Mac and the GMs to make sure they will not get you lost in the shuffle.
Chris then turned to Jason.
Chris: You just get your head ready for your match against Luke Wolfe on Friday.
Jason glares over at his wife and his enforcer before fixing his suit getting in the limo. Kimi and Jack stood by the entrance with their managers, confused looks on their faces as they watched the limo pull away.

Aiello: Hello and welcome back to yet another exciting episode of Monday Night Brawl. We are coming to you live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville .. and as you can tell, the fans are roaring tonight! Friends, just last weekend we had the biggest night of the year take place in StrangleMania XII
Bennett: It was an incredible night that saw Crank, Trixie and Moors Murders all become champions. We also saw our very own Drake successfully defend his EWC Championship against Griffin Hawkins. However, we sadly also saw the final match of Xplodes career
Aiello: Two best friends put it all on the line last weekend, and Xplode went out on top as the victor. He will always be remembered in the EWC as our greatest champion
Carter: The fans love Jaden, and so do we. We are forever grateful for the incredible career that Xplode had. However, now it's time to ...
BOOOOOOOM!!!
Fireworks emit from the stage area as the fans stand up and cheer! The entire arena shakes the foundation due to the cheers of the fans as “The Sounds of Madness” begins to play by Shinedown!
Bennett: WOW.. I will never get used to that. Here he is, our reigning Undisputed and International Champion… Drake! He comes out tonight to his new theme song.. "The Sounds of Madness" by Shinedown! Awesome… just awesome.
Carter: Drake overcame the odds and defeated Griffin Hawkins in a match that will go down in history. Once again, he proved to the world that he is the best in the world today, despite the odds… and despite the person standing across from him. He has earned my respect.
Aiello: The leader of the new generation has arrived… there he is.. the Vengeful One.
The crowd continues to cheer as the theme song continues to play until suddenly, the music shuts off! The arena lights shut down…. And we are left in complete darkness!!
Aiello: What’s going on?
The theme song kicks back on once again as does the lights, just as we see Drake standing on the stage, holding his arms out with a title belt in each hand!! The fans are going absolutely nuts now as he remains in place, his head arched back, soaking in the cheers! After a brief time, he slowly lowers his arms and walks down the rampway, slinging the straps over his shoulders. Once at ringside, he tosses the titles into the ring and slides under the bottom rope.
Picking up the straps once more, he accepts a microphone and smiles as the fans continue to cheer. Drake shakes his head as he is humbled by the responses. Pacing the ring, Drake allows the fans to celebrate as he heads to the center of the ring and sits down, his legs crossed.
Drake: Please.. this is YOUR night. Cheer away!
The fans stand up and scream, stomping their feet and pumping their fists as Drake laughs in the ring. The announcers look over their shoulders and seem taken back by the responses! Slowly, the cheers quiet down. Drake nods his head and speaks.
Drake: Well… StrangleMania has come and gone. Hell of a night, wasn’t it? Once again, I stood in the ring with one of the EWC’s mightiest champions, and you know what? I think I might have finally earned a bit of respect around here… what do you all think?!
The fans stand up and cheer as Drake laughs. He stands up now and walks around the ring, stopping in the corner.
Drake: That’s right. The road to the top prize in the industry still goes through me, and you can bet your asses that it will remain that way! I am the best in the World, not just by name but by action, and I defy anyone in the industry to prove otherwise. That challenge doesn’t just go to the locker room here… but to companies elsewhere. It’s time to stop making excuses. If someone wants some of me, I am easy to find. We need to give credit where credit is due first though, folks…. Tillman and Crank. WOW!!!! That was a hell of a battle. Let’s give those men a round of applause… they've earned it.
The crowd begins to cheer for Eddie Crank and Jack Tillman as Drake claps along with them!
Aiello: Very classy…
Bennett: Is this guy for real? Consider me a fan.
Carter: I think I already was one…
Drake smiles as the fans continue to cheer. He paces the ring.
Drake: Then there was Xplode and Danny Mac… was there a damn dry eye in the arena after that match?!! I can tell you first hand, I marked out for that one. THAT MY FRIENDS… IS WHAT WRESTLING IS!! THAT’S WHY I BECAME A FAN AND THAT’S WHY I DO WHAT I DO! Damn it…. Thank you!!! Danny... Jaden... I tip my hat to you both.
The fans cheer once more as Drake stands in the middle of the ring, his arms folded. Nodding his head, he clears his throat.
Drake: I needed to recognize those men and the rest of the warriors who put it all on the line last weekend. I am proud to be a part of that locker room. There is a new generation that is taking over this industry, in case you haven’t noticed. Wrestling is wrestling again. I am proud of that. Make no mistake about it though, I will be leading that generation. I will be that fighting champion that others before me claimed to be.
Yup, I went there…
You see, winning a title makes you a champion. Defending it makes you remembered. I understand that. I am a student of this game and I intend on proving it… every week… every holiday… except for when Star Wars hits theaters. Sorry, I love that shit. I take a timeout for that galaxy far… far.. away whenever I can.
The fans begin to laugh now as Drake smiles back at them.
Drake: So, let’s change gears a moment.
Drake takes the Undisputed Title off of his shoulder and hands it to Jessica Stroup. He then raises the International Championship over his head.
Drake: Let’s get real for a moment. So, as most of you all witnessed, and if you didn’t I suggest you sign up for the EWC Network Channel and see for yourselves… there was an epic battle to decide who gets to face me for the International Championship. Now, let me say straight up, I was on the edge of my seat for that one. I knew that no matter who won, I would have my hands full. In true savage-like fashion, Catharsis won the match and earned himself a date with destiny… I can dig that.
So I say this…
Catharsis, congratulations on getting yourself noticed. It’s going to be a damn honor to face you in this ring. You’re a good man, and I recognize you as a skilled opponent.
The fans begin to cheer until Drake looks at the camera and smirks..
Drake: Wait… wait. That doesn’t change a thing. I am riding high, baby! As tough as that dude is, and from what I heard the guy shits out iron nails, it’s going to take more than the ability to do a spin kick to put me down. I am going to continue to prove to the world that I am the standard by which others are judged. That walking stick is held by these hands and that title… well.. it is staying right where it should, over the shoulder of the first name to make it mean something…. Drake.
Drake raises the title and smiles as the fans cheer loudly! The entire arena erupts as Drake raises the other title now, standing in the center of the ring!
Bennett: That man is the face of the industry right now.. Ashton Drake. It’s a good time to be a fan.
Carter: He has impressed us so much since he arrived in the company, despite the odds and the critics, he has preserved. Good job, kid… the best is yet to come.
Aiello: We will back back with more BRAWL .. right after these messages

President Mac: I just wanted to come out here tonight, greet you all, thank you all for watching StrangleMania .. but most of all, for one last time I wanted to thank Jaden 'Xplode' Hunter for all that he has done for me, the EWC, and the sport in general. Xplode will forever be cemented in our history and his legacy will live on forever. So now as we enter a new era, a post 'X' era as it were .. I am happy to see such an incredible crop of youth mixed with veteran leadership.

Joe Aiello: There you have it ladies and gentlemen! Giving honor once more to a true legend. Xplode will be missed
Bennett: Xplode will certainly be missed, and maybe we will be lucky enough to have him join the broadcast team at some point. I know I'd love to see some changes to the PPV format. Maybe swap out Hanks for Xplode? It's an idea
Carter: Xplode and FBI on one broadcast? Wow, that'd be intense. Folks, we will be back with more BRAWL right after these quick messages

EMMA LOUISE
VS JOHN BLADE
Emma Louise hasn’t had the best year so far, so getting a win tonight was very important for her. Unfortunately for her, John Blade was in top form, and not exactly looking to continue his losing streak. The two superstars went back and forth, but Emma eventually got the upper hand. She wore Blade down before hitting him with Em’s the Brakes, immediately followed by Girl Crush for the 3-count win.
WINNER: Emma Louise
Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen .. it’s t-...
Aiello is cut off by The Foggy Dew, which sends the crowd into a loud cheer signaling Eddie Crank’s arrival to the arena. The strobe lights turn green, and the cameras focus on the entrance where we find Eddie Crank standing, kitted out in a beautiful, ivory white, three piece suit, and the X-Division Championship strapped around his shoulder.
Bennett: Well, this doesn’t happen very often. He looks awfully … formal. I wonder what’s this about?
Aiello: Whatever it is, this crowd is all ears.
Bennett: Are you sure about that? I’m getting a mixed reaction here.
Aiello: Eddie’s been getting those a lot lately to be perfectly honest. The Irish are going ape as always but … something’s different.
Eddie walks down the ramp with his chin up high and a confident expression on his face. Getting into the ring, he lifts the Championship high above his head, giving the entire arena a glimpse of his baby, before he’s handed a microphone as his music dies down, letting the chants of the fans be heard.
Eddie!

Eddie Crank: Please, please … settle down, I’d rather you praise me by buying them Pay-Per-Views twice, ye? Save your voices, I still have a fight later on in the evening, I need you to scream my name and cry for Chase Rex. Now, I won’t take a whole lot of your time, I know there are people backstage that want to rip their heads off for you … but ehm … I wanted to come out here and address the whole roster. Or, to be more specific, the X-Division.
A lot of you wouldn’t classify the X-Division as an actual Division, and you’re right - it’s not. At least not officially. Just like this belt, the X-Division takes a back seat to most other things in the EWC. Everyone knows it exists, but no one is willing to fully acknowledge it.
See, there was a moment … a few months ago … when a number of athletes in the back vowed to fight for the X-Division title, and to me - that’s the X-Division. The little gazelles who are willing to go through me in order to get their fat little fingers on me hardware. They know who they are. What I’d like from them … is to be good little girls, and get their arse out here, because as their Champion, I need them to hear this and experience it in person. Come on out, you know who are ye?
Aiello: What is he going on about?
Bennett: Don’t be surprised if there’s a trap door under that ramp. I wouldn’t trust this guy for a second.
Just then, a few members of the BRAWL roster come out, confused as to why they even have to be out there. They all slowly walk to the ring and surround it. Amis Shelton, Chase Rex, Jack Tillman, Jon Sullivan, John Blade, Catharsis, Emma Louise, Corey Smith to name a few.
Eddie Crank: Look at that … I mean look … at … that. Adorable. Thank you for coming out here ladies. I appreciate the bravery it took. I know it’s hard. Now … as you all know, the X-Division has been in a shite place over the past month, thanks to this little snake in the grass.
Eddie motions to Jack Tillman who the crowd starts to boo, and some of the wrestlers in the ring give some scolding looks to.
Eddie Crank: Jack, you stepped on this belt like it was garbage. You used it as a prop, you dangled it at my face like a zoo keeper would dangle a stake at a caged tiger, comfortable in knowing that the fat chain wrapped around his neck will keep his head attached to his shoulders. As we all found out, the chain that held me back was practically made out of tin-foil, as I ripped it off the wall and chewed up Jack’s carcass in front of the whole world at StrangleMania.
But Jack … as unhealthy as you were to this division, you’re not the biggest culprit. No, the biggest culprit is the entire fookin’ roster. The biggest culprits are former X-Division Champions like Harlow Kinsley and Polly Pocket. Two … women.
This belt used to be a woman’s belt, ye? How fookin’ pathetic is that? It wasn’t until I came along and became the first male to hold it that it meant more than absolutely nothing. Then I managed to somehow drop it to another woman, but luckily I dumped that fool like a bad case of fleas at StrangleMania and we’re back to business now.
Me point is that … people like Drake have the Main Event on lock down. He’s got the World Championship, he’s got the International Championship, and I’m sorry everyone but … I don’t see him dropping either of them belts to anyone on the roster for a long, long time.
That is, unless they have him fight me. Everybody knows that the only person that can truly challenge Drake on BRAWL is the X-Division Champion, and believe me - that fight will happen, and it will re-arrange the tectonic plates of the entire promotion, but something tells me I won’t get that fight for quite some time.
So … I have to take it upon myself to make the X-Division Championship a more sought-after belt than the World and International title combined. And I’m already ahead of the game.
Jack … you’re an asshole … but we did something very special at StrangleMania. We took this piece of metal, we took our fight and made history. There is tension between us, we definitely don’t like each other a lot, but no one can deny that the fight for the X-Division Championship at StrangleMania was one of .. if not the … most unique event this company has ever seen, and on top of all - it was a damn good fight mate. Not just a gimmick.
As Eddie says that, the crowd start applauding in approval and give both men their due respect.
Eddie Crank: I’m a cocky motherfooker … but the way I see it … this is the signature belt in the entire fookin’ EWC. I know it, and the rest of you and the rest of them need to learn it too. Why? This … this is the EWC. This is the black sheep of the entire promotion. This is the new kid on the block. This is the belt that has been hiding in the shadows, and I am the person who brought it out of the shroud and into the sunlight.
And the way I see it … this is the Division that follows nobody’s motherfookin’ rules! We do what we want, when we want to do it!
Eddie’s passion behind his words fires up the crowd and a few of the BRAWL roster members as the crowd starts to buzz.
Eddie Crank: This entire company has been looking down on me since day one because I’m an MMA fighter. I find it hard to even engage with any of you twats backstage because of me background. Even these fans are having a hard time accepting me because I walked into a wrestling company, denied wrestling and whooped wrestlers’ ass purely through me skill in MMA. I get it, I’m a tough pill to swallow, it takes a while to get used to me …
… but so is this!
Eddie lifts up the belt above his head.
Eddie Crank: And just like the EWC has to start learning to accept Eddie Crank, the EWC and all of its Champions also need learn to respect … and fear … the X-Division and its King.
I’m putting everyone on the BRAWL roster, as well as the rest of the EWC on notice.
I am obsessed with the X-Division. I am addicted to this Championship. Since the start of the year, I have been on top of the EWC regardless of belts or no belts, and nobody can deny that. I will not deny this Championship, I will embrace it. And I’m putting each and every one of you twerps on notice … if you want this belt … if you truly want this belt … you’ll have to gather up a fookin’ army to take it from me!
EDDIE!
EDDIE!
EDDIE!
EDDIE!
EDDIE!
Eddie Crank: The EWC has entered the Kingdom of the X-Division, and whether anyone likes it or not … the man on top of the X-Division is me. And unless you’re me … or you’re fighting me … you’re all a big fat nothing.
Aiello: Strong words by Crank here.
Bennett: I can’t take him seriously. I’m sorry, the EWC and every other promotion in the world is headline and spearheaded by the World Champion. It doesn’t matter who has a better win/loss record, the only thing that matters is who holds THE Belt, and that is Drake. All I see is Crank trying to make something important - unimportant and antagonize everyone for the sake of it.
Aiello: Well, have you considered that maybe we’re entering a new age here in the EWC? With Xplode retiring, things are changing. Traditions are being broken.
Bennett: Traditions? This isn't about fucking traditions Aiello. Only one of us has been a Wrestler before and that's me. The man who holds the EWC Championship is king. No ifs ands or butts.
Carter: Crank doesn’t seem to think so.
Bennett: Does it look like I give a shit what Crank or you think? I’m completely against it, and you can bet the other Champions are too. Especially Drake. It’s only a matter of time until he’s tired of listening to Crank’s rubbish and this whole conquest Crank’s on will fizzle out like a flame. He’s playing with fire.
Aiello: He’s been playing with fire since he signed his contract man! From what we’ve scene, he’s teflon.
Benett: Time will tell. Let’s go to commercials folks, and then we’re back with some more EWC action!
JON SULLIVAN
VS ANTHONY GRUNGE
In the second match, something didn’t seem right. Jon Sullivan was on the hot track to the top of the company, but something was very off when he came out for his match. He barely put in any offense against Anthony Grunge. Grunge was looking for a better showing to back up his open challenge, but unfortunately Sullivan’s mind was somewhere else entirely. Grunge hit him with a Superkick, and Sullivan fell to the mat, like as if he had already been in pain, giving up right then and there. Grunge shrugged and hit Sullivan with the Mosh Pit for the 3-count win.
WINNER: Anthony Grunge
The cameras cut to the backstage area where BRAWL's resident interviewer, Ace Heart, is standing in view with a microphone raised to his lips.
Ace Heart: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guest at this time is Amis Shelton.
The crowd can be heard booing as the camera pans out to reveal Amis Shelton standing next to Ace Heart with a displeased look written on his face. Ace turns to the Real Fuckin' Deal to begin the interview.
Ace Heart: We're coming off an incredible StrangleMania event with many claiming that it was a spectacle for the ages. However the event wasn't as favorable for you personally Mr Shelton. You weren't able to--
Amis FN Shelton: Don't say it.
Amis grabs the microphone and pulls it towards him. Ace, being the professional he is, retains his grip on the microphone which earns him an intimidating glare from Amis.
Amis FN Shelton: Ace, it's in your best interest to let go of the fucking microphone right now.
Heeding the warning, Ace releases the microphone and steps back.
Amis FN Shelton: It's not true. What you all saw last week at StrangleMania shouldn't of happened.. Catharsis had NO RIGHT to climb that ladder and claim that contract. That spot at One Night Encounter versus Drake for the International Championship was reserved FOR ME AND ME ALONE.
More boos from the audience are heard.
Amis FN Shelton: There is no one more deserving of the opportunity to challenge Drake than ME. Have you all forgotten just who the hell I am!? I am Amis FUCKING Shelton! One of the greatest talents to ever step foot inside a wrestling ring, let alone an EWC ring and the fact that I'm robbed of victories and opportunities from the likes of Catharsis make me sick! I should be showed some more respect around here!
Chants of "You Suck!" progressively get louder and interrupts Amis. He looks over to his right and runs his hand through his hair slowly. He takes a deep breath before gesturing to the camera.
Amis FN Shelton: Then that asshole Eddie Crank insults me earlier tonight ... fuck that guy .. Alright.. Keep up, monkey. We're going for a little walk.
Leading the camera to one of the entrance ways, Amis continues to speak.
Amis FN Shelton: If there is anything that I have learnt whilst being here in the EWC, is that there is a lot of people who like to talk the talk, but they have trouble walking the walk. They talk themselves into believing that they are 'talented'. But then they step into the ring and their performance says otherwise. Others are just poor on the mic and in the ring.
I don't know what's worse, the performances of the majority of the performers signed to this promotion. Or the fact that you idiot fans seem to be blind of these travesties and choose to instead boo those who are actually entertaining and have skill. Prime example in the form of myself, The Real Fuckin' Deal, Amis Shelton.
Amis appears through one of the fan entrances, the capacity crowd inside the Bridgestone Arena boo him on sight. Amis heads to the ring, ignoring the verbal abuse being thrown at him.
AMIS SUCKS!
AMIS SUCKS!
AMIS SUCKS!
AMIS SUCKS!
AMIS SUCKS!
Amis FN Shelton: When I call myself the Real Fuckin' Deal, it's not to annoy you, it's because it's true. I don't care how much it antagonises you or how much it grinds your gears, because hell in a few months or years, I'll still be calling myself such and you'll be ending up cheering me because you are all fickle. But do you wall want to know a little secret?
I don't give a damn about any of you!
Amis hops over a barricade, turning to face one rowdy fan in particular before flipping him off and entering the ring.
Amis FN Shelton: The crazy part is that each and every single one of you know just how good I really am. You can go and ask any of my former employers, hell even go and ask James Tyson! When I'm at the top, where I should be, business is great and money is made. When I'm utilized to the best of my ability, put simply, I AM THE FUCKING BUSINESS!
Mark my words, it'll only be a matter of time before I get into the ring with Drake.. I don't care who I have to go through or who I have to put into the ground. I am built to succeed in this industry and I'm not taking a back seat to anyone. What happened at StrangleMania is nothing but a mistake that will not happen again.
Amis breaks for a second
Amis FN Shelton: As far as that sack of shit Eddie Crank. I don't know who the hell you think you are, but you are not in the same league as Ashton Drake, because you aren't even in MY league. You talk and talk and talk, why not for once in your life just shut the hell up. Or better yet, how about I shut you the ...
Just then Eddie Crank comes running down to the ring but is immediately stopped by EWC Security, Eddie Crank is pointing and yelling at Amis
Amis FN Shelton: Sorry asshole, I can't hear you. I'm sure whatever you have to say sounds like this (puts on Irish accent) 'Fook you, fook me, fook the world, I'm Eddie .. fook fook fook'
Amis laughs to himself and then throws the mic as hard as he can at Eddie Crank, hitting him just above the right eye and cutting him open. Amis then dusts off his hands and exists through the stands as Eddie continues to try and break free of security
Aiello: Oh my goodness, Amis has just poked an already very angry bear
Bennett: About time someone shut Crank up .. I loved it
Carter: Folks, we will be back with more BRAWL right after these messages
The camera feed is rested on the ground, peering up at the outside of the Bridgestone Arena. The camera pans slowly across the arena, the grandiose structure magnified by the EWC Brawl logo flashing across it’s marquee. Several fans can be seen in the distance, arms lifted in celebration of wrestling’s finest being in Nashville. The camera sits idle for a moment, as the sounds of footsteps drawing nearer can be heard. A figure moves into view, covering the feed temporarily with his stature before sitting down just left of the camera. Now in full view, Catharsis turns his head and looks up at the Arena, throwing up a peace sign to the onlookers behind him. He turns back towards the camera and flashes a smile, resting his hands against the pavement before speaking.
Catharsis: “Ladies and Gentlemen, WELCOME to the first EWC Brawl after the life changing event that was Stranglemania! You know it’s one thing that one hear stories about it, but it’s another to actually witness it first-hand…to truly be a part of it. Hmm, maybe it’s the high of what happened last week that has me here tonight, enjoying the sight & sounds of Nashville.”
The crowd cheers as they hear their city’s name mentioned. Catharsis continues
Catharsis: “Now unfortunately your friendly neighborhood ass kicker wasn’t invited to tonight’s festivities, possibly as a reward for becoming the Number 1 Contender to the International Title. But what type of person would I be if I stayed away from this madness? Oh, but’s let get to the meat of the subject…
Catharsis: “Drake, how are ya buddy!? (waves) I know you’re preparing for your little shindig with Urakih, so I’m going to make this short & sweet. I took a listen to your promo earlier this week and while mostly expected, I felt it necessary to come the Nash to make you aware of a few things.”
Catharsis hold up three fingers.
Catharsis: “3 – I’m contented to know that you took a look into our little three way contenders match. Personally, I’d think it stupid for you not to at least acknowledge a match that directly correlates to your future, so good on you. But if you took a closer look, you’d see I didn’t win just because I was better than Rex & Shelton…well that didn’t hurt either, I won because I wasn’t kissing your feet. I respect everything you’ve done Drake, but they all called it YOUR title…and they were wrong. It is THE International Championship, and when I write my name on that title, it won’t be because I curtsied and bowed to the “master of the belt”.
Pinky in
Catharsis: “2 – I shouldn’t be this proud that you made a wiener joke on national TV…but I am.”
Index finder in
Catharsis: “1 – You can tell yourself that you won’t get complacent, that you’ll stay sharp…but it’s not possible. Every single day you sit at the top of the mountain, you’ll lose just a little bit of that edge. It’s just human nature to forget what it means to be pull yourself out of the depths of obscurity. You’ve faced the crème de la creme, but they all have their previous glory to hold close. I’m going to show you to look of someone who hasn’t tasted that mutton, who’s willing to throw everyone off the top of the mountain with their blood on his fists. I’m on the outside looking in, so while your lording over the EWC…never forget what waits in the darkness my friend. Good Luck Tonight.”
Catharsis look up at the arena once more and waves at the camera, a bloodthirsty smile stretching across his face as the scene ends.
CHASE REX
VS EDDIE CRANK
VS EDDIE CRANK
Aiello: Well there you have it. Catharsis has spoken, as has Drake. One can only imagine the two of them will be headlining One Night Encounter in a couple of weeks.
Carter: We have had an amazing show so far and we are just getting started. We got a big match up next between our X-Division Champion Eddie Crank and the flashy rookie Chase Rex
DEAD!
The single lyric in the song works almost like a jump-scare over the PA, the lights cutting out in that same moment. A piano is the next thing that's heard and just as the song picks up and the drums come in, a sole spotlight hits the stage and highlights Chase Rex, who has Valerie Lennox at his side.
Jessica Stroup: From the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York by way of Birmingham, England - accompanied by Valerie Lennox, he is "A Sophisticated Man", Chase Rex!
He pauses for a moment, peering out at the crowd before heading down the ramp with Valerie in tow. Without any hesitation, he works his way to and up the steps, then slides his body between the ropes after wiping his boots on the apron. Once in the ring, Chase holds the top and middle rope open as Valerie climbs the steps after him and makes her entrance into the ring as well. He takes to the center of it with arms extended and head tilted back. The lights come back on, and Chase takes to a corner while Valerie crouches between the middle and bottom ropes and drops to ringside.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent .. the X-Division Champion .. EDDIE CRANK!
Crank starts circling the ring and talking trash, warming up for the fight with a smile on his face.
Eddie starts shadow boxing and kicking, practicing over his movements and getting nice and limber for the fight.
DING DING DING!
Aiello: Both these men had differing results at Stranglemania last week. Chase Rex suffered a loss while Eddie Crank won the X Division Title. I'll be interesting to see who comes out on top tonight.
Both men circle each other, no man blinking. Crank lunges for the ankle of Rex who shifts his body to avoid him. Both men circle each other again and this time it's Rex who dives and Crank that avoids.
Aiello: Both men evenly matched.
Bennett: That will all change it's very early.
They attempt to lock up with a collar and elbow tie up but Crank scoops up Rex and carries him to the turnbuckles where he blasts Rex with a series of kicks to the midsection. As the referee breaks them up, Rex attempts to exit the ring. Crank is done talking to the ref and catches Rex for a German Suplex but Rex elbows Crank in the face and, this time, makes it to the outside.
Aiello: Chase Rex deciding to get himself a breather in the early going.
Bennett: Well he needs it after Eddie Crank attacked him like that.
Carter: Attacked him? Are we watching the same match?
Crank is bored of waiting for Rex to get back in the ring so he dives out to get him. Rex runs. He slips back into the ring and is on his feet as Crank slides in after him. Rex hits an Axe Handle and a series of Right hands to the fallen Crank but Crank manages to get back to his feet. Crank grabs an arm but Rex quickly grabs the ropes. Crank tries to pull Rex from the ropes but Rex has a vice like grip on the rope and Crank's arms almost slide off him. Rex takes advantage of this with a Thrust Kick to Crank's midsection.followed by a series of Roundhouse kicks to the legs of Crank.
Bennett: See I told you he just needed a breather.
Rex bounces off the ropes and attempts a Dropkick but Crank is able to counter it by grabbing Rex's ankle. Rex pulls his way to the ropes to break whatever hold Crank had in mind and again heads under the ropes to the outside.
Carter: How many breathers does one man need?
Bennett: Well he's breathing all the time.
Crank tries to go out the ring after Rex again but the referee stops him. While Crank and the referee yell at each other, Rex plans to take advantage of the situation by climbing to the top turnbukle. It's nothing more than a flying nothing as Crank catches him with one arm before launching him with a German Suplex. He goes for the pin

Aiello: Almost had him there.
Bennett: Almost had him? He's still got plenty in the tank.
Carter: Yeah, plenty of gas in the tank to go running around the ring.
Rex uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet before Crank hits some Right hands to the kidneys. Rex staggers into the corner where Crank goes for more punches but Rex grabs Crank and throws him through the ropes. Almost immediately, Crank is back on the apron and re-entering the ring. Rex, however, kicks the rope. Crank doubles over in pain as Rex grabs him and pulls him into the ring and hits a Rope Hung DDT and goes for the cover.

Rex punches the mat in frustration as both men get to their feet. He then kicks Crank in the gut and hits Turnbuckle Powerbomb. Crank leans against the buckles using the ropes to hold him upright as Rex hits a Running Enziguri in the corner. Again he covers Crank.

Aiello: Chase Rex might have more in the tank but Edie Crank won't if Rex keeps the pressure on like this.
Bennett: You coming around to my way of thinking?
Carter: Dear God!
Both men are on their feet again and Rex bounces off the rops and upon his return hits Crank with a European Uppercutt sending him bouncing off the ropes. Upon his return, he ducks a second European Uppercutt by Rex and responds with a Roundhouse Kick to Rex's skull. Both men fall onto the mat.
Aiello: Both men feeling the affects of this match.
Bennett: Speak for yourself, all Rex has to do is stretch his arm across Crank and he wins this one.
Carter: So why isn't he? Maybe he's having another breather.
Bennett: Not going to let that go are you?
Both men pull themselves up using the ropes and find themselves in opposite corners. The referee is standing with Eddie Crank who seems to have injured his wrist. With both men distracted, we see Rex untying the ropes on the turnbuckle pad and exposing the buckle.
Carter: What is he doing now? Looking for his inhaler for another breather?
Bennett: He might be
The referee and Crank are both happy for him to continue with the match. Crank charges at Rex in the corner. He catches Rex with a clothesline knocking him back first into the exposed turnbuckle. Rex falls to his knees screaming in pain as the referee checks on him,
Slowly, Rex gets back to his feet using the ropes to aid him. As he does this, Crank is crouching behind Rex. Watching. Waiting. He charges at Rex and waffles him with a Whizzer Slither. He drags Rex away from the ropes and covers him.

Jessica Stroup: Here is your winner, the X-Division Champion ... Eddie Crank!
Carter: He cheated!
Bennett: How do you work that out?
Aiello: Crank hit his Whizzer Slither and pinned him.
Carter: But he used the exposed buckle. Cheat!
Bennett: Look at it this way, he's got plenty of time to have himself a breather.
Carter: Wait a minute .. is that?
To the delight of the fans, John Blade comes running down the ramp and slides into the ring
Eddie is handed his X-Division Championship and smirks as John Blade stares at him in the ring. Eddie starts looking around at the packed arena, shrugging his shoulders as Blade has yet to say a word. Eddie then yells something to John, which prompts John Blade to charge at him, tackling Eddie to the mat
Carter: What in the world is going on?
Bennett: This is what happens when you come out and insult half the roster
Eddie and Blade trade blows back and forth when suddenly Amis Shelton appears at the top of the ramp
Bennett: Shit is about to get real
Eddie is distracted by the boos, spots Amis at the top of the ramp and is sucker punched by Blade, who then tackles him over the ropes
Carter: Eddie with the hard fall to the outside
Amis then comes running down the ramp, slides into the ring and makes a running leap tackle onto Eddie
Amis then climbs on top of Eddie and starts delivering punches to the head
Carter: Are we seeing a Blade/Shelton team up here tonight?
As Blade comes over to join the action, he is shoved aside by Amis which causes Blade to throw Amis off of Eddie. Amis and Blade now start to trade punch after punch while Eddie gets to his knees
Bennett: Eddie has no idea what the hell is happening
Carter: Does anyone?
Eddie grabs his X-Division Championship and attacks both Amis and Blade in the head with the belt. Both falling to the ground. Eddie kicks and stomps on both of them, spits at them and backs up the ramp with the belt on his shoulder
Aiello: Folks, we need to sort this all out, we'll be back after this.
Aiello: Welcome back to Monday Night Brawl .. well .. John Blade and Amis Shelton have both been escorted out of the building, and Eddie has increased security outside of his dressing room. This has been an absolute crazy night as ...
Static overtakes the Tron as the arena suddenly goes dark, the white noise sound coming right alongside of it. Gradually, through the metaphorical snow, the outline of a slender female figure comes into being-- and her voice, bereft of accent and low in tone, rises forth to drown out the ambient noise.
: There came a time I can hardly describe, a section underground.
A jerky jump cut takes the view to an alley that can be anywhere, the black and white footage distressed as if it were done in the old ways-- steel wool, maybe a weak acid of some sort. Her voice comes forth anew, complimented by the faint sound of a bird trying to take flight.
:A bird trapped in a sewer, wings beating against the ceiling in that dark wet place…
The footage distorts, a ring coming into sight that has obviously been neglected for quite some time. Rust, stains… the canvas rotting away in places. Garbage has piled up in the corner that is visible, a few papers stirring in the breeze coming through the broken window to the left.
: While the city rumbled on overhead.
Superimposed footage of a more recent nature replaces the ruins of that ring, a crowded arena of medium size hitting their feet for a pair of women in the ring. While any identifying features of the dark-haired female desperately tapping out from the knot her legs have been wound into has been scratched out with a nail, the blond's determination is as clear as can be from the narrow of her eyes to the snarl upon her lips.
: Her name was Lost.
The superimposed footage soon consumes the dilapidated ring, the very same blond shown wearing a crimson mask as she damn near rips a man's arm out of socket, his features scratched out all the same--but not hers. Not hers as she tears another opponent apart, then another--the jump-cuts of her victories speeding up ever-faster behind the outline of her holding a title belt high. Everything suddenly goes black, the static vanishing as well before the speaker graces the listener one final time with her words.
: Her name was Nobody's Daughter.
Blue-gray eyes rimmed with kohl come into view, staring into the camera's lens for a moment or two before the visual fades.
COREY SMITH
VS JACK TILLMAN
VS JACK TILLMAN
Aiello: Well that was certainly interesting. Up next we have Corey Smith, and the man who lost the X-Division Championship last weekend .. Jack Tillman
Bennett: This will go one of two ways .. either Smith takes advantage of down Jack Tillman, or Tillman sends a message tonight and destroys Corey
Carter: We wont have to wait long to find out as the match is next
Light em up by fall out boys hits and out comes Corey SMith
Jessica Stroup: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Richmond Virginia, Corey Smith
Corey makes his way down the ramp and into the ring.
The lights dim down as Out Of Black by Royal Blood begins to play throughout the arena. The arena erupts with a mix of cheers and boos as Jack Tillman comes walking out with a death stare in his eyes. Concentrated on the match at hand, Jack makes his way down to the ring
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent From Omaha, Nebraska! Standing at 6 ft 1 and weighing in at 210 pounds! He is Jack “The Ripper” Tillman!
Making it to the steel stairs, he stands for for a few seconds, mentally getting himself ready for the match. As he stands there, the fans behind him begin to chant.
HE IS WRESTLING!.........(clap, clap, clapclapclap)......HE IS WRESTLING!..........(clap, clap, clapclapclap.......HE IS WRESTLING!
The fans continue to chant as Jack places a mouth guard in his mouth and makes his way up the steel steps. Stepping inside the ring, Jack stands in he middle of he ring and makes a throat slash with his thumb as black, white, and red streamers come flying into the ring from the fans. Ring staff quickly begin to collect the streamers as Jack walks over to a corner and gets ready for his match.
The referee explains the rules to both superstars and they nod on showing they understand the rules and then he sends them to their corners and calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Aiello: This is going to be an exciting one for sure, Jack is just coming off his title loss to Eddie Crank, he will be looking to bounce back
Bennett: Yes, Jack seemed really upset to lose that title at stranglemania and he would want to climb his way back up the ladder as quickly as possible, and what better way to do that than a win here tonight
Carter: Corey Smith should not be counted out though, despite his lack of consistency, he has shown flashes of just how good he is, today could be the ay he finally snatches a high profile win
Aiello: We will see about that, we are off.
Both of them size each other up from a distance and gradually close the gap as the find their way closer and closer to the center of the ring. They both clutch into a grapple and fight for the upper hand, neither seem to be ready to let the other take the advantage so they begin trading blows, right hands landing square in the face of each other but it is then Corey gains the advantage and begins unloading punches with rights and lefts flying right into the facee of Tillman who is hopeless to avoid the beating, the punches continue till Tillman is wobbling on his feet. Corey looks to take advantage of the situation and immediately runs to the closest ropes and bounces off it, the clothesline would take Jack’s head off but Jack recovers just in time and grabs him and flings him across the ring and unto his back with a belly to belly suplex.
Aiello: What a recovery from Jack, he pulled that one right out of the top drawer
Bennett: I keep my underwear in my top drawer
Aiello: … Um… ok?
Jack Tillman recovers to his feet first and goes over to his opponent and begins to stomp the living daylights out of him. Stomps to the chest land one after the other before the referee arrives and urges him to stop the blatant onslaught. Jack then picks the weakened Corey and grapples him, he lifts him over his head for a snap suplex but Corey is able to land on his feet just behind Tillman and counter with a bulldog that buries Jack’s face into the mat. Smith doesn’t plan on wasting any time, he goes for the pin.

Bennett: Exactly, that man had a strap around his waist a week ago and he thinks that would be enough to put him out. Not in the slightest
Corey helps Jack to his feet, and immediately goes to work on the man, he dispatches an elbow to the back of Jack’s head forcing the man to go down on one knee but he is not done, he dashes a kick to Jack’s side and his other knees drop as well and then he sends a knee right into Jack’s unprotected face. With Jack down he is looking to continue the pressure so he bounces off the ropes and comes down with a dropped elbow which Tillman is able to roll away from whilst Corey crashes his arm on the mat. As he holds his arm in agony in a sitting position, Tillman runs for the ropes, bounces off it and lands a devastating drop kick to his face and immediately goes for the pin.
Aiello: He nearly took his head off, I think that is game, set and match.
Bennett: Jack is quick, smart and athletic, he has been pacing himself all fight long and may just win it right now.

Tillman’s head bounces off the canvas so much so that the man turns his belly side up and Smith finally connects with that drop elbow to the chest of Tillman, The move knocks all the wind out of Tillman’s sail. Corey lifts a staggering Jack to his feet and places him unto his shoulder to the delight of the crowd.

He plants Jack into the mat with a fireman carry but he isn’t done here, he finds his way slowly up the turnbuckle, his weary feet barely carrying him. Once at the top he waits for his opponent, surely he has a crossbody in mind. Jack is slow to his feet, the carry really did knock the wind out of him but with the help of the ropes he slowly rises
Aiello: What are you doing Jack, stay down!
Bennett: Don’t turn around, don’t turn around
Carter: I don’t think he can hear you guys, it may be all over here.
Once Jack turns around he is met by a flying Smith who he side steps and down goes Corey clutching his midsection and Tillman is not done, he plans on using it to his full advantage. He immediately staggers over to his man and brings him to his feet
Aiello: What is Jack thinking
Bennett: Oh my gosh, I don’t like this, Corey look out!
Jack grips Corey from behind and brings himself down with his man with a cross face chicken wing… Or as it is better known, the Recluse. Jack immediately begins to crank the pressure on his man who cries out in pain but it lands on deaf ears. The hold gets tighter and tighter till he taps out.
DING DING DING
Jessica Stroup: Here’s your winner, Jack Tillman
Aiello: What a win, he truly deserved that one
Bennett: Corey did a good job but in the end, Jack just did enough to win this one
The referee holds up Jacks hand in victory as he celebrates his win. The scene goes to commercials
NON TITLE MATCH
ADATU URAKIH
VS DRAKE
VS DRAKE
Carter: Welcome back to BRAWL friends. What a crazy night it has been already .. but we still have one more match to go. It's finally time for the nights Main Event!
Aiello: The champion takes on the Order of the Dragon member Adatu, do you think she will be able to pull out an upset here
Bennett: Anything can happen in matches like this, especially with Drake just coming off a high profile Stranglemania main event. Adatu had the week off and is fresher but Drake has momentum on his side.
MTBD by CL blasts through the public announce system and out comes Adatu who makes her way down to the ring.
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is our main event of the evening. Introducing first, the Japanese Dragon, UDATU URAKIH!
She gets into the ring and finds her corner where she waits for her opponent.
The lights fade to a dark grey, and the arena becomes silent instantly. The video screen above the entrance flickers to life, showing an image of a hooded man, his eyes ready for battle. The fans erupt into a frenzy as the man removes the hood, revealing his face.
Explosions rocket from the stage, catching the fans off guard as "The Sounds of Madness" by Shinedown begins to play! Stepping into view, Drake runs to the end of the stage and crouches, looking out into the sea of fans. There is a sarcastic smile on his face, as he shakes his head, overwhelmed by the fans around him!
Jessica Stroup: Hailing from Brooklyn, NEW YORK! Please welcome... the EWC International Champion and Undisputed EWC Champion.. DRAKE!!!
Nodding his head, Drake hops up to his feet and cranks his arm. He then heads down the ramp-way and runs towards the ring as the fans cheer him on. His dark pupils stare at the ring as the arena explodes around him. Arriving at ringside, Drake hops up to the ring apron and remains in place.. looking out at the fans around him. He then walks along the outside of the ring and ascends the turnbuckle, looking out at the fans as they offer their support! Drake slowly unbuckles his championship and raises both above his head for all to see!
Nodding his head once again, Drake enters the ring and slowly struts around, his arms held out as he soaks up the fans' responses. His theme song slowly fades out as Drake ascends a turnbuckle, finding a seat on the top pad. The fans continue to cheer as the theme song comes to an end.
Both superstars size each other up as the referee explains the rules of the fight to them. Once he is done explaining both superstars retreat to their corners and he calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
We are off and both superstars immediately go into a grapple, both looking for the advantage and it is Drake who is able to get the upper hand as he forces his opponent to the corner turnbuckle and delivers some knees to Adatu’s midsection. The knees are enough to have her drop her guard and release the grapple and Drake follows up with a chop across the chest which echos around the arena. He delivers another and then one more before he sends his opponent flying across the ring to the opposite turnbuckle. Adatu crashes at the turnbuckle and is in pain but Drake isn’t willing willing to let up with the pressure as he approaches Adatu who is resting on the turnbuckle.
Aiello: Positive start for the Undisputed champion
Bennett: Yes it has. There is a certain degree of consistency we have come to expect from Drake.
Carter: And rightfully so, he is coming off an impressive defense of the Undisputed championship against Griffin Hawkins
Drake grabs Adatu by her hair and she immediately headbutts him sending him back and she begins to swing lefts and rights forcing the champion back. Kick out!
Aiello: There is no way Adatu will go down that easy
Bennett: Drake has started this fight quite focused
Drake brings Adatu to her feet and looks to continue his work on her, he puts her head between his legs, looking for something big here but she is able to counter and send him crashing on his back which she follows up immediately with a dropped elbow to the collar bone of the champ.
Aiello: Ouch! That must have hurt
Bennett: Beautiful reversal by Adatu
Adatu looks to take advantage of the situation and finds Drakes feet and puts it in an ankle lock. Drake cries out in pain as she applies more and more pressure on the foot looking to end the fight right now. Drake begins to pull himself closer to the ropes and Adatu lets him but once he is an inch to the ropes she pulls him back to the center of the ring and clamps her legs over his and locks the hold. Drake looks in all sorts of trouble here.
Aiello: She is putting Drake through unbelievable pain right now, she might just win it here
Bennett: If Drake wants to still have two feet to stand on then he’d tap out right now.
Drake begins to crawl his way to the closest ropes as he screams in agony, Adatu does not give him a moments rest as she struggles to apply more pressure. Drake eventually grips the bottom rope and the referee calls her to let go which takes a moment but the treat of disqualification makes her release it. Drake looks gassed for air as he lies on the mat and Adatu decides to try something different.
Adatu waits at the top turnbuckle for Drake to get his feet which he does but ever so slow. Once he is on his feet he looks around the ring for his opponent and can’t find her but once he turns to the turnbuckle she leaps off it and lands on his shoulders and delivers a Hurricarana that sends Drake darting out of the ring and crashing onto the outside.
HOLY SHIT
HOLY SHIT
HOLY SHIT
Aiello: My God! That was absolutely crazy, Adatu is working the champ
Bennett: That she is.
Adatu goes to the outside of the ring and picks Drake up and sends him into the ring. She immediately goes for the pin.

Kick Out!
Adatu can’t believe it, she rests on her knees wondering what else she has to do to put Drake out of commission. She turns Drake around and looks to put him in a camel clutch but once she reaches for his neck, he pulls her down crashing his head into her jaw and she falls to the mat behind. Drake slowly finds his feet with the help of the ropes and Adatu also finds her feet, both take a moment to stare at each other before the both charge in and Drake lands a knee to her midsection that causes her to spin over and crash on her back. Drake doesn’t give her a moments rest as he picks her up, grabs her from behind and sends her flying across the ring and crashing on her neck with a german suplex. He takes a moment to soak up the cheers from the crowd for a moment.
