You, the fan, log onto EWC's official site and see a tab blinking, indicating a breaking story involving popular TV Champion Valora Thomas. You click it and the scene opens to Ace Heart frantically shuffling papers around on his desk before being altered to the camera.
Ace: Ladies and Gentlemen, Ace Heart here for an exclusive on EWC Television Champion Valora Thomas. We have been notified that earlier today at a local YMCA, Valora was attacked while conducting a professional wrestling and striking seminar to city youth here in San Jose. Video of the incident has surfaced and we will show you the excerpt now. Warning: viewer discretion is advised.
The scene goes blank for a moment then pops back on to show Valora inside a ring. She's on her knees, already sweaty, with a child no more than 9 years old grabbing at her arm. The tiny human judo throws her over and Valora sells it like a champ. The same kid pins her while another jumps into the ring excitedly and counts the 1-2-3!!!
A big eruption of cheers fill the YMCA and the camera pans around to get a full view. The place is jam packed with children ages 8 all the way up to early teens. The eye of the media device lands on a few of the older, hornier teen boys in the crowd, and anybody with a lick of sense can tell they are plotting how to "accidentally" touch Val's boobs or butt when they get their turn in the ring.
Mick enters the ring, raises the kid's hand while declaring him new TV Champion, and hands him the belt all the while chuckling. He guides him out of the ring while Val sells her recovery and sits up "groggily" but with a smile on her face. Abruptly, the side door to the gym bursts open and in marches Hope Diamond followed by a camera man of her own. The Miss(s) Fortune of FSW is not exactly dressed appropriate for this class, clad in a very short black top, flaring blue pants and sneakers.
Hope: Good day everyone. Sorry to be so late but traffic has been a bitch. Valora darling, you already brought a camera along. How very thoughtful of you.
Hope breezes past the kids and relieves the child of the TV Title. Mick wants to take the belt from her but Hope jerks it away and holds it high up into the air.
Valora: Hey! Give that back! I dunno who you think you are ma’am..
Hope: Oh how rude of me. I’m Hope Diamond. You know, the chick you recently claimed to have never heard of? FSW star.
As Val peers on with confusion, Hope continues parading the title over head.
Hope: Now boys and girls this here is a pro wrestling championship belt. It means that you have accomplished something special inside a wrestling ring.
The FSW star enters the ring and Valora gets right in her face, but then snaps her head around in paranoia, thinking this could be a trap set by Moors Murders.
Valora: What the heck do you want here? Did those cowards send you?
Hope smiles sweetly.
Hope: The Moors? Hardly. I´m here to teach, of course. It´s important to prepare children for life before they get hooked to drugs and video games right? And like Maleficent I always invite myself to all the good parties. Besides when I heard that our new TV Champion is here I could not possibly pass on the opportunity to learn from her? Now…
Hope turns away to address the children again.
Hope: Being a champ means you are something outstanding. It means you are better than the rest.
All of a sudden Hope smashes the metal plate of the belt right into Valora´s face. Dropping the belt she pulls the Karate Cutie's head down by the hair, driving a knee hard into Valora´s face. Mick grabs Hope from behind and tries to pull her away only to get mule kicked in the groin, crumpling him to the canvas. Val has dropped to one knee in the process, head badly rattled, so Hope takes advantage and applies her trademark Catherine Wheel hold.
Valora wails in agony, helpless against the submission despite being well versed in BJJ. Her screams send a spark of fright through the poor little kiddies, causing them to start bawling their eyes out. Some of them scream for Val to fight back, while others beg Hope to stop hurting their hero. Hope tightens the hold, making it worse by contorting her prey's toned form in a way it shouldn't, and through clenched teeth she speaks again.
Hope: And sometimes boys and girls it means you are just an over-hyped amateur who got lucky. See what I´m doing to your champ? I´m contorting the ever-loving shit out of her and all her black belts and karate moves can´t help her. But wait kids, it gets better.
Hope lets go and throws Valora into the ropes, kicking her in the face when she bounces back like a limp rag doll. Val is barely conscious when Hope gets behind the champion and traps her in her finisher, "The Curse of the Diamond".
Hope: Now that´s the lesson for today kids. If you want to be a champ then you have to take what you want and look out for yourself, because if you don't and waste your time with some stupid brats you are screwed like your champ is screwed now. Harvey and Tony started it and now I finish it.
Hope takes a deep breath and as she exhales she viciously tightens her hold. Val´s body convulses a little and then goes limp. More sobs join the crying fest as Hope keeps the hold applied despite Valora being inert. Finally, she lets go and stands up. In a show of ultimate disrespect, she places the sole of her dirty shoe on Valora's face and lords over her.
Hope: Right where you belong, champ. Under my foot! One! Two! Three! That´s it. Now kids you have a champ and you have a winner. Decide for yourself what you want to be in life. You can be the knight in shining armor or the one who walks away and has the last laugh. Like this.
The FSW vixen walks over to Mick, who is curled up into a fetal position on the mat. She rolls him on his back with her foot and places her sneaker squarely on his heaving chest, constricting his already labored breathing even more.
Hope: If you were forty years younger old shit, I’d beat you up now and lay you out beside your darling, but being the train wreck that you are that would kill you. I want you alive however, to watch how I take the title away from your girl in an official match. She should have kept my name out of her mouth and mind, old man. But I guess now she'll know exactly who I am, won't she?
Hope exits the ring without another look at Val or Mick. She walks up close to the camera.
Hope: Mister Price, your protection can make champions but never winners. Valora is nothing, just your next FN Shelton.
With that the scene fades.
