The cameras return to the EWC arena to find Victor Price who is seated behind his office desk when his office door swings open.
He wasn’t expecting a guest so he awaits his visitor with vex written across his face.
Price: Now who the hell is this chicken shit walking into my office without knocking.
From behind the swinging door appears the International Champion Andrew Jackson spotting some camouflaged jeans, a pair of boots, a plain black t-shirt and his title hung on his left shoulder.
Jackson: Chicken shit never smelt so good, it’s Ralph Lauren by the way.
Jackson enters with a smile plastered across his face whilst Price still can’t find the amusement in the situation.
Price: What do you want … Champ?
He says with a hint of Sarcasm
Jackson: Well, Night of Champions is in a couple weeks and no one seems to have an idea who I’ll be facing. I called the president and he said to ask you!
Price: You called that ass hat Mac? Hashtag .. Not my president.
Jackson rests on the nearby wall and waits for a proper response from Price who gets increasingly uneasy with the man shadowing him.
Price: You’ll find out later tonight along with the rest of the world, alright? Now make like a tree and get the fuck out of here
Jackson smiles and adjusts the title on his shoulder.
Jackson: The jar is half full Vic, someday my tolerance is going to overflow. That day won’t be so fun for one of us.
Price: Boy don’t bark if you are not ready to bite.
Jackson: Woof!
With that Andrew Jackson smirks and walks out the door leaving it wide open and infuriating Price even further.
SINGLES MATCH
LALA LARUE
VS MORGAN DARKWATER
LALA LARUE
VS MORGAN DARKWATER
Aiello: We have a lot to do tonight some big matches to happen.
Carter: Exactly. This is our first match tonight featuring Captain Morgan Darkwater against LaLa LaRue. Both have recently joined EWC and both will be wanting to take tonight to show the world what they can do and that they belong here on Brawl.
Jessica Stroup: This is our opening contest of Brawl and it is set for the one fall.
The lights in the arena cut out as first notes of Captain Morgan's entrance theme, "The Sunk'n Norwegian", kick in and the screens around entrance fade in to the image of a perpetually burning skull-n-crossbones flag rippling in the wind. A spotlight rises as Morgan saunters confidently out on the stage, holding an old-fashioned iron grenade in one hand, the fuse lit and sparkling. He laughs maniacally and throws it at his feet, where it explodes with a boom of pyros and smoke.
When the smoke clears he is holding a wooden tankard aloft, bellowing "One More Drink!" in time with the song's first chorus and takes a heavy gulp of the dark grog, liquid and froth splashing out down his thick black beard. Tossing it over his shoulder, he laughs again and starts marching purposefully down the ramp. He enters the ring through the middle and top ropes, climbs the nearest turnbuckle and unsheathes his cutlass, holding it aloft with a raucous battle-cry.
Jessica Stroup: Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at 239 pounds and hailing from The Virgin Islands, He is 'The Captain' MORGAN DARKWATER!!!
When "Fly" by Nicki Minajft. Rihanna begins, LaLa strides out into the ring, her face purposeful. However, she then begins to wave and say hi to a few of the fans she can reach, high-fiving a few of them before entering the ring, where she climbs up onto the top rope and does a somersault.
Jessica Stroup: And his opponent. From Montgomery, Alabama and weighing in at 125 pounds: LALA LARUE!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Both athletes stare at each other before LaRue bounces of the ropes and Clotheslines Darkwater. He doesn't flinch.
Bennett: Nobody moves.
LaRue bounces off the ropes again. Same thing happens. She runs her fingers through her hair before bouncing off the ropes a third time. This time she hits a Spinning Heel Kick knocking Darkwater to the ground. He rolls out of the ring. LaRue launches herself over the ropes at her opponent but Darkwater catches her and drives her spine first into the ring post.
LaRue crumples to the ground holding her back but Darkwater grabs her by the hair and rolls her into the ring. As Darkwater rolls into the ring, LaRue runs at him nailing him in the face with a Dropkick. She climbs the turnbuckles and leaps at Darkwater bt he raises a leg and catches her square in the jaw with a boot. LaRue staggers clutching her jaw but Darkwater grabs her and drops her with a Full Nelson Slam before making the cover.

Darkwater stands up and bounces off the ropes before droping a Legdrop accross LaRue's throat. He lifts himself onto the second turnbuckle and waits as LaRue pulls herself to her feet before launching at her with a Clothesline. He lifts LaRue to her feet Irish Whipping her into the corner. Darkwater charges LaRue but she ducks him and lays into him with a series of Forearm shots. She shoots Darkwater at the ropes before running at him and landing a Dropkick followed by a Bulldog before making the cover.

Aiello: She's going to have to do a lot more to keep The Captain down here Max.
Carter: She's started well but she's going to have to keep chopping him down.
Bennett: What is he a tree? He's a mean ass kicking monster not a shrub.
Carter: Shrubobitch?
Bennett: I WILL END YOU!!
LaRue grabs Darkwater's left leg, puts her foor on the back of his knee and uses it to drive his knee into the canvas. Darkwater screams in pain as LaRue stomps the knee. LaRue then grabs Darkwater's leg and Elbow drops the knee before dragging him to the ropes, placing his leg on the bottom rope and dropping her weight down across the leg. Twice. On the third time, Blackwater caught her with his right boot and sent her flying over the top rope to the ringside mats.
Bennett: Go on, say it.
Aiello: She went to the well one too many times there.
Bennett: This is why I come to work.
Darkwater is outside the ring. LaRue is on her feet and Darkwater knocks her back down with a straight right hand to the jaw. He picks her up and Bodyslams her on the ringside mats before rolling her into the ring.
Back in the ring, Darkwater grabs LaRue and hits her with a Heart Punch. Instead of going for the pin, Darkwater climbs the turnbuckles and leaps for a Winds Of Fortune. His elbow connects with LaRue's chest. He makes the cover.

Jessica Stroup: Here is your winner: MORGAN DARKWATER!!!!
Bennett: He did it!
Aiello: That he did.
Bennett: You want to call him a tree but in the end it was LaLa LaRue that fell.
Carter: In the end it took a hard bodyslam on the outside and a Flying Wind Of Fortune to defeat her but credit to her she's a fighter.
Aiello: Stay with us here on Brawl as we have more tournament action and the TV Title.
SINGLES MATCH
SCOTT GRAYSE
VS JOHN BLADE
SCOTT GRAYSE
VS JOHN BLADE
Aiello: Next up we've got a bout between two men who competed in the first round of the tournament last week.
Jessica Stroup: Our next match is scheduled for one fall, making his way to the ring first, from Grand Rapids Michigan, weighing in at 250 lbs, He is the The Sinister Psychopath, the Resident Madman, the Personification of Perfection... SCOTT GRAYYYYYYSEEEEEE!!!!!
Reborn by Stonesour plays throughout the arena. It becomes ominously quiet in the arena and everything goes black. The SkyTron lights up showing blood dripping from a hammer, Scott Grayses hammer known as Helen. "#BASH" is seen as "Reborn" by Stone Sour blares and the lights come on to see Scott Grayse standing on the ramp glaring into the ring where his next victim awaits. Grayse looks out into the legions of fans and forms a sick sadistic smile. He takes Helen and holds it up as he lets out a hortific yell. The Sinister Psychopath slides into the ring and stands in the middle raising both arms as Red fireworks shoot off.
Bennett: How many nicknames does this idiot need?
Carter: You really want to provoke a guy who carries a hammer around with him and is a self confessed psychopath?
Aiello: Scott Grayse is looking to bounce back from last weeks defeat.
Jessica Stroup: ...and his opponent, from Worcester, Massachusetts, weighing in at 251 lbs.... JOHN BLLLADDDEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
See you again hit's when he walked out onto the stage, wearing his trademark baseball cap and matching t shirt. With a salute to the crowd, he began running to the ring, where he slid in and quickly got to his feet and tossed his hat into the crowd. After a bit more posing, he removed his t shirt and also tossed it into the crowd to fight his Opponent.
Aiello: Here comes John Blade, who also lost his match last week!
Bennett: Ugh.. i prefer Sidney.
Carter: Lets not forget that with Night of Champions just around the corner this is the last chance saloon for both of these guys to make an impression.
DING DING DING
As the bell rings both men waste no time at all as they both rush towards each other. Blade hits Grayse with a shoulder tackle. Grayse falls against the ropes and bounces back. Blade kicks Grayse in the gut and starts unleashing a fury of fists and kicks on him. This only angers Grayse as he grabs Blade by the throat and pushes him hard into the turnbuckle. Blade holds his back in pain as Grayse rushes towards him and jumps for a corner splash. Blade moves out of the way and Grayse smashes into the turnbuckle, Blade grabs him from behind and hits him with a Double Underhook Backbreaker. Blade covers Grayse. The ref counts..

TW...GRAYSE KICKS OUT WITH EASE, THROWING BLADE OFF OF HIM!
Aiello: It's going to take more than that to put the six foot six psychopath away!
Grayse runs at Blade, going for a clothesline, but Blade ducks it. Both men run back off the ropes and back towards each other. Blade goes for a clothesline this time but Grayse ducks it. Again both men run off the ropes and back towards each other, this time they both connect with a hard clothesline on each other! Both men are down on the mat.
Aiello: Both men nearly took each others heads off there!
Bennett: Doesn't matter if John Blades head is intact, cause all he does is run around the ring like a headless chicken anyway!!
Carter: John Blade fights with his heart and he's got a never say die spirit, something you know nothing about Steve.
Blade is first to his feet, he again runs off the ropes but as he comes back Grayse is also back on his feet. Blade runs right into a big boot! Grayse has a malicious smile on his face as he stares down at Blade.
Aiello: If the clothesline before didn't give John Blade a concussion then that big boot of Scott Grayses surely has!
Grayse grabs a handful of Blades hair and slowly picks him up. Grayse slaps a groggy Blade in the face twice, laughing at him.
Carter: Scott Grayse is just toying with John Blade now!
Grayse picks Blade up and drops him on the mat with a power bomb. Grayse, still with a smile on his face, puts his foot on Blades chest and shouts at the ref to count.

Grayse again puts his foot on Blades chest and shouts for the ref to count, as he raises his arms in the air victoriously. The crowd jeer and boo him. The ref counts...

Carter: Grayse does not look happy, he's about to go full psychopath on Blade.
Grayse, clearly frustrated, kicks Blade in the face twice, shouting at him to stay down. Blade tries to get to his feet, Grayse grabs him and hoists him up in the air and plants him on the mat with another powerbomb!
Carter: That's a third powerbomb! Grayse is going to kill John Blade at this rate.
Bennett: What is this, a power bomb match?
The fans cheer and chant John Blades name as Scott Grayse covers him for the pin.

Carter: Has John blade got a death wish?
Aiello: That's three power bombs Blade has kicked out of, extraordinary! Scott Grayse can't believe it!
Grayse bangs the mat in frustration as he gets to his feet and stares at the downed Blade for a moment before he makes his way out of the ring.
Carter: uh oh, Scott Grayse has got that look in his eyes! This can't be good.
Grayse grabs 'Helen' and stares at her for a long moment. A sick grin spreads across his face.
Aiello: Scott Grayse has made a play for that hammer. This is not good news for John Blade.
Grayse comes back into the ring with the hammer, the ref tries to stop him but Grayse moves passed him with ease. Blade is at the ropes getting to his feet, Grayse swings the hammer towards Blade but Blade ducks down at the last second, the hammer bounces off the ring ropes and back towards Grayse hitting him on the head. Grayse crumples to the floor!
Aiello: Scott Grayse just hit himself with his own hammer! He's out cold!
Bennett: Blade should be disqualified for that!
Carter: How do you work that one out? Grayse brought the hammer into the ring and he tried to use it on Blade!
As the ref slides the hammer out of the ring, Grayse lies out cold but Blade is still recovering himself, he struggles to get to his feet.
Aiello: All Blade has to do is pin Grayse but it seems like those three powerbombs have knocked him silly, he seems disoriented.
The fans are chanting for Blade, who is leaning against the ropes breathing heavy. Unbelievably Scott Grayse starts to stir, slowly picking himself up. Blade charges at Grayse just as he gets to his feet, from out nowhere Grayse hits Blade with the lights out! Blade falls to the floor, Grayse falls on top of him. The ref counts...

Both men are down and out on the mat. The ref raises Scott Grayses arm as blood trickles down from his forehead from the hammer blow earlier.
Aiello: What a match, these two guys have proved how tough they really are!
Bennett: Scott Grayse took a hammer to the head and he still managed to get the job done.
Carter: ...and John Blade kicked out of three power bombs! I call for a rematch, i'd love to see these two go at it again.
Aiello: Folks we need to take a breather after that crazy match but we will be right back with you after this short break. Don't go anywhere!
SINGLES MATCH
NICK JAMES
VS AJ JOHNSON
NICK JAMES
VS AJ JOHNSON
Aiello: Welcome back to Monday Night Brawl. Up next we have another singles match for you guys. I won't ruin it for you. Let's go to Jessica for the introductions.
Jessica Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 233 pounds. Nick James!
The lights dim in the arena as Switch begins to blare over the PA. The bass drops and out from the back comes Nick James. He's in a cyan and yellow sweater and white pants, with "James" down the side in pink writing. He makes his way down the ramp and slides into the ring, removing his sweater.
Stroup: And his opponent from Atlanta, Georgia. Weighing in at 225 pounds. AJ Johnson!
"At My Best" by MGK hits the speakers and AJ Johnson comes walking down the ramp and into the ring.
Carter: Both of these competitors tonight are looking to make a splash here on Brawl. This is AJ's debut in EWC and Nick James is coming off a loss last week in the Undisputed tournament.
Bennett: I'm curious to see which one of these men come out with the victory. They both have something to prove.
DING! DING! DING!
Both wrestlers quickly start the match with a collar and elbow tie-up. AJ shoves Nick off of him and into the corner. Nick James shakes it off and the two men begin to circle each other.
AJ goes for another tie-up but James quickly stops him with a kick to the gut. James flips AJ over with a snapmare takedown and quickly hops to his feet hitting Johnson in the back with a dropkick. Nick grabs ahold of AJ and presses him down with a chokehold while referee Josh Daniels counts to five and has to tell Nick to release the illegal choke.
Carter: Nick is letting out some of the frustation built up from last week's missed opportunity.
Bennett: A shot at the Undisputed title is hard to come by. If he wants another chance, I victory against Johnson won't hurt.
Nick mocks the crowd as they boo him and AJ recovers. Nick turns around and charges AJ while he gets to his feet. AJ quickly ducks and sends James over the ropes with a back body drop. James crashes to the outside floor and the crowd erupts in approval.
Carter: These fans in Cleveland seem happy he isn't in title contention.
Bennett: Fans in Cleveland don't know what's good for them.
James slowly climbs to his feet with help from the barricade. AJ comes running off the apron and catches James with a hurricanrana, leaving James down on the floor. AJ pulls James to his feet and rolls him into the ring. AJ jumps on the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off but connects with nothing but the mat as James rolls away.
Nick rakes the eyes of AJ as he climbs to his feet. He whips AJ into the turnbuckles and follows in with a clothesline that knocks AJ to one knee. James runs across and bounces off the ropes, returning with a back elbow to the chest of AJ that knocks him to the mat. James makes the cover.

AJ lifts James up for a backbreaker but James reserves it, picking AJ up for a piledriver. Johnson fights out of it and lands on his feet. Stroup: Your winner by pinfall. AJ JOHNSON!
Aiello: AJ Johnson gets the victory in his debut but it didn't come easy.
Bennett: Both men showed their skills here tonight. I can get behind it.
Carter: There you have it. The predator's seal of approval. Heels backing heels. What a surprise.
Aiello: We'll be right back with more Monday Night Brawl
Joe Aiello: Ladies and Gentlemen, we will now take you outside of the arena where Ace Heart is standing by with one of tonight’s Main Eventers; Thomas Uriel Bates.
The scene shifts to just outside the arena where a large crowd has gathered around Ace Heart and Thomas Uriel Bates. Bates is wearing his blue shorts, and no shirt.
Ace Heart: I am standing here with Thomas Uriel Bates, who just last week laid out an amazing Test of Strength Challenge against Lady Enchantra’s ManThing. Mister Bates, what exactly do you plan to do here today?
Bates smiles, and bends slightly to the microphone.
Thomas Uriel Bates: Mister Heart, I will be giving the amazing fans of the EWC a preview of the upcoming Test of Strength Challenge.
Several people come up, holding a thick chain. Bates picks up a piece, and holds it up to the camera.
Thomas Uriel Bates: This is a very old feat, and a true test of one’s strength.
Ace Heart: What will you do with that chain?
Thomas Uriel Bates: I will have these chains wrapped around my chest, to which I will break them to escape.
Ace Heart: Alright, good luck, Mister Bates.
Thomas Uriel Bates: Thank you.
Ace Heart pulls away from view, as the support crew begin wrapping the chain around Bates’ chest. They tighten it, and tug on it to show that it is on, and that it is indeed hard to break. The support crew move out of the way, and Bates begins the test. With several short, shallow, breaths, followed by a mountainous roar and stretching of his arms, the chain expands until it snaps off, freeing the giant with a roar from the crowd. Bates celebrates with the crowd briefly as Ace Heart picks up a broken piece of chain, with the iron warped out of shape.
Ace Heart: Ladies and Gentlemen, a remarkable feat of strength from Thomas Uriel Bates, tonight’s Main Eventer, and possible challenger for the EWC Undisputed Championship!
SINGLES MATCH
NEWMANN
VS KRISTIAN BANE
NEWMANN
VS KRISTIAN BANE
Carter: And we're back with our next match. Two relative newcomers to the Monday Night Brawl scene. Kristian Bane and Newmann.
Aiello: That's right Max, one is a FSW superstar and the other is making his second apperance in the ring. Let's go to Jessica for the introductions.
Jessica Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Sin City and weighing in at 211 pounds. Newmann!
Vengeance on my Mind echos throughout the arena as Newmann comes out from the back sporting a chain wrapped around his fist and an American Flag in his other hand. He has a bandanna on and a pair of headphones on getting himself ready for the battle thats about to commence. He doesn't let any reaction from the crowd get past his headphones. Newmann plants the flag next to the ring and then slides into it. He spins the chain around his finger and takes off his headphones with his head fully in the game. He hands the Headphones, Bandanna and Chain to the ref and goes to his corner, patiently waiting for the match to start.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Cincinnati, Ohio. Weighing in at 315 pounds. Kristian Bane!
The arena goes dark, a slow booming sound can be heard and BAM! Pyros shoot off as 'The Vengeful One' blares. Kristian Bane walks out in front of the crowd. Bane walks methodically to the ring and walks up the steps.
Aiello: Bane is 6'6" and from what I've seen at FSW, he's a handful to deal with.
Bennett: Watch him wipe up the floor with this new kid.
DING! DING! DING!
Bane and Newmann circle each other and quickly lockup in a collar and elbow tie. Bane powers Newmann into the corner and referee Josh Daniels asks for a clean break. Bane takes his hands off Newmann but suddenly drills him with a boot to the gut. Bane faces Newmann up and connects with a strong right hand, knocking Newmann to one knee.
Bane lifts Newmann up and charges the corner. Newmann slips out and flips over the head of Bane as he crashes into the turnbuckles. Bane slowly turns around and gets knocked back into the corner with a spinning elbow from Newmann. Newmann grabs Bane for an irish whip but gets reversed and sent into the opposite corner. Bane charges in and connects with a big boot to the face. Newmann falls to the mat and Bane makes the cover.

Kickout!
Both men get to their feet and Newmann ducks under a right hand from Bane. Newmann strikes with a roundhouse kick but Bane catches his foot and spins him around into a chokeslam. Bane lifts Newmann up but loses his grasp as Newmann knees him in the side of the head.
Newmann lands on his feet and knocks Bane back with a standing dropkick. Bane stumbles back into the ropes as Newmann hits him with a running clothesline that sends both men over the ropes. Newmann and Bane fall to the outside floor and Daniels starts the ten count.
Carter: Newmann had to use all of his body weight for that move. If he could clean up a few things he could really do well here.
Bennett: Well by the looks of things, both men took the fall.
Surprisingly Bane is the first to his feet and he pulls Newmann up. Newmann slowly stands and catches Bane in the face with an uppercut. Newmann grabs ahold of Bane and uses his momentum to whip him into the steel steps. Bane crashes into the steps knees first and he falls to the floor.
Newmann rolls back into the ring and bounces off the ropes. He runs across the ring and dives through the ropes toward Bane. Bane catches Newmann mid-air and runs him back first into the apron. Newmann slumps to his knees and Bane hits him with a right hand that knocks him to the floor. Bane pulls Newmann up and rolls him into the ring.
Carter: Newmann is really taking some risks here in the early going.
Bennett: But none of them seem to be working. Bane is a machine.
Bane slides into the ring as Newmann climbs back to his feet. Bane sizes Newmann up for a Hit n Run but Newmann rolls out of the way. Bane turns around and gets met with a pele kick that knocks him back into the corner. Newmann gets to his feet and hops on the turnbuckle. He starts laying in a series of right hands to the face of Bane while the crowd counts them up.
After the tenth punch Newmann jumps off the turnbuckle and Bane staggers to one knee. Newmann sprints in and drills Bane in the chest with basement dropkick. Newmann makes the pin.

Bane pulls Newmann to his feet and brings him up for a double handed chokeslam. Newmann wraps his legs around Bane's neck and locks him in a triangle choke. Bane drops to one knee from the pressure and struggles to get Newmann off. Bane gets a sudden burst of energy and quickly slams Newmann to the mat with a powerbomb. Both wrestlers stay down on the mat, neither making a move.
Aiello: Bane's strength really bailed him out there. It was almost goodnight.
Bennett: He needs to get up and make the pin. Newmann is out cold!
Bane is the first to show life as he slowly crawls over to Newmann and makes the cover.

DING! DING! DING!
Stroup: Your winner by pinfall, NEWMANN!
Aiello: Newmann with the impressive victory over Kristian Bane! He really showed some skills there and defeated the big man from FSW.
Carter: It was a great match from both wrestlers. We'll be back with more Monday Night Brawl
Jessica Stroup: This next match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, already in the ring, the team of Daniel Lugosi and Samantha Salem. . .The Crossroad Coven!
The man and woman team, newcomers to the EWC on a try out match raised their arms to the crowd in acknowledgment and were met with a lukewarm reaction. Other than the red shirts they wore signifying them as being on a strictly trial run with the company, both wore black from head to toe and had a gothic flair to their style.
Jessica Stroup: And their opponents. . .
"Seek and Destroy" by Metallica began it's ominous guitar riff.
Jessica Stroup: At a combined weight of five hundred and eighty pounds. . .from the Ruins of a Long Forgotten Galaxy. . .the WORLD BREAKERS!
The lights in the Quicken Loans Arena suddenly went black and smoke began to billow heavily from the floor clouding the curtains that separated the backstage from the audience and creating a haze around the building. A strobe light commenced it's relentless flicker and as soon as James Hetfield screamed out "ALRIGHT!" to kick the song into gear proper, World Breaker Axis materialized from seemingly thin air, standing stoically within the smoke, massive arms folded across his considerable chest. Within moments, the hulking silhouette of World Breaker Atlas could be made out in the fog, standing just behind his partner pacing back and forth like a tiger trapped behind the bars of its enclosure.
WIthout a word between them, the World Breakers began their walk to the ring. Axis moved slowly and methodically. . .Atlas on the other hand was wound tighter than a two dollar watch, every muscle in his body expanding and contracting with each shallow breath he took behind his iron mask. Suddenly both men broke into a full out sprint and slid fluidly into the ring popping to their feet and getting right in the face of The Crossroad Coven who, to their credit, didn't back down an inch from the two giants that loomed over them like horror movie monsters.
Joe Aiello: And here we go again, folks. You're getting another look at the newest colossal tag team to sign with the EWC. . .the World Breakers. Apparently just like last week, they demanded a match backstage and here is the result. Two newcomers, Daniel Lugosi and Samantha Salem, looking to impress the management in the back and maybe, just maybe, turn the right heads and get themselves a contract offer in the process.
Steve Bennett: I don't envy them one bit, Joe. You saw what the World Breakers did to those poor saps on the last edition on BRAWL. Max, did we ever get their names?
Max Carter: If we did, I don't remember. . .and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't remember their own names either after the beating they took, Steve.
Joe Aiello: Nevertheless, we have ourselves a match here gentleman. And if you notice, we have senior referee Paul Turner in the ring to officiate this thing. Last week, the World Breakers got themselves disqualified by putting their hands on Josh Daniels, so I guess the EWC brass is putting someone with a little more experience in charge to make sure this match runs smoothly.
DING!
DING!
DING!
Paul Turner called for the bell and Samantha Salem stepped deftly into the ring to meet World Breaker Atlas head on. A white slash appeared between the black and gold face paint of the younger World Breaker as he displayed a wry smile at the fearlessness of the female member of The Crossroad Coven.
Samantha let out a wild shriek as she charged the six foot eight, three hundred pound behemoth, laying in stiff forearm strikes to the upper chest of her opponent. If you didn't know any better you would have thought you heard a chuckle escape the mouth of World Breaker Atlas as he shrugged off the blows like he felt nothing at all, palmed her head with one huge hand and sent her flying into her corner in a heap, pointing for the man of the team, Daniel Lugosi, to step between the ropes and face him one on one.
Joe Aiello: What a display of strength by World Breaker Atlas there! He sent that poor girl flying halfway across the ring!
Max Carter: Just like he sent referee Josh Daniels flying last week, Joe! Incredible!
Samantha looked up at her opponent and wiped a forearm across her face, gathering her wits about her. She knew the hulking beast of a man was pointing at her partner but she was about to show him that she was the more talented member of their duo and a formidable foe in her own right.
She let out another shriek as she ran at the World Breaker who attempted to take her head off with a vicious clothesline. She easily ducked the languid strike and bounced off the opposite ropes catching the man square in the chest with a picture perfect dropkick. . .a dropkick that would've taken a smaller man down to the mat. The only problem was that World Breaker Atlas wasn't a regular sized man. He was built like a M1 Abrams battle tank and the beautifully executed textbook move only served to back Atlas up half a step at most.
The big man was done toying with Samantha and as she rose to her knees she had her head damn near torn from her shoulders like a shotgun blast with a vicious front kick that sent her tumbling back to the mat. With a quickness that defied a man of his size he quickly attacked his prey. Clubbing forearm shots sent her back to the mat with prejudice every time she managed to prop herself up on an elbow or a knee and when she stopped struggling altogether her back was pounded from above by savage stomps that felt to her like the relentless pummel of a jackhammer on concrete.
Joe Aiello: I know we have woman competitors here in the EWC and that they're more than capable of holding their own against the men, Steve. . .but what we're witnessing right now seems particularly brutal. Look at those stomps to the lower back of Samantha Salem. She may be broken in half.
Steve Bennett: Hey, this young lady wants to be a wrestler in the EWC. . .this ain't no cake walk here, Joe. If she wanted soft she should've signed up for a beauty contest or something.
Samantha could do nothing but curl into a ball but even that didn't do much to help as the World Breaker grabbed her by her long black hair and dragged her unceremoniously to her feet. Even though she ached from the numerous stomps she just endured she refused to let herself be manhandled without fighting back so she wriggled and lashed out with desperate kicks and fists, half of them missing their mark and the ones that did manage to connect causing no apparent damage to the bruiser that held her aloft by her locks, feet dangling inches off the ground.
Atlas gripped the squirming woman in a bear hug, squeezing tightly and taking delight in hearing the breath leave her body in one big whoosh. He shook her around like a dog tearing at a chew toy before he quickly planted his feet and flung her over his head with a snap belly-to belly suplex that once again sent the EWC hopeful hurtling across the ring until she came to a sudden violent stop, her body smashing into the thinly padded corner turnbuckles.
Samantha was on dream street and barely felt herself getting dragged to her feet once again nor did she feel her arms being looped around the top ropes, keeping her sagging body from hitting the canvas once again. She didn't hear the roar that came from the opposite corner, and she couldn't feel the rumbling of boots hitting the mat at full speed. But she DID feel the impact that caused her to black out. The last time she felt a similar was when she was eleven years old and ran into the street after an errant basketball and was struck by a vehicle outside her home.
Steve Bennett: God Almighty did you see air that monster got on that corner splash!?
Max Carter: Someone better check on her because World Breaker Atlas just squashed her like a bug! I'm not sure I've seen anything like it before. Completely ruthless!
World Breaker Atlas once again lifted Samantha Salem from the mat, but this time he cradled her in his arms like a new born baby. The only thing visible was a limp hand which hung lifelessly from between the two arms of the World Breaker. Atlas slowly crossed the ring and stared Daniel Lugosi in the face as he dumped his partner on the ground in front of him like she was a bag of trash. He lumbered leisurely backward and tagged in his partner who smiled at his cohort with pride before entering the ring himself.
Joe Aiello: When is enough enough? If I was Paul Turner I would think about ending this thing myself. This match has been a train wreck so far and I can't see it getting any better.
But Paul Turner didn't stop the match and Daniel Lugosi didn't tuck his tail, drag his limp partner from the ring and head for the hills. . .although he probably should have. Instead, knowing how important it was for Samantha. . .for both of them, to become EWC superstars, he tagged himself into the match and prepared to go toe to toe with the more seasoned grappler of the merciless team that stood in the opposite corner.
World Breaker Axis admired the kid's guts, to not run was a mark in the positive attribute column for the young man. But they both knew how this was going to end. Daniel steeled himself and ran headlong into the fight hoping against all hope to catch the elder World Breaker off guard so that he might be able to slip some offense in. His efforts were in vain however because just as he got within striking distance of Axis he felt himself lifted him into the air and subsequently driven into the mat with a particularly wicked Uranage Slam.
Axis gave the man no time to recover as he dropped a huge elbow across Lugosi's sternum, rolling to his feet and dropping a leg across his chest with a leg drop, rolling to his feet again and completing the trifecta with a bone crunching splash. The World Breaker could've went for a pin, and probably would've gotten the three count, but instead he pulled the man to his feet, not content to let his partner have all the fun. In a display of raw power, the World Breaker easily pressed the man over his head and walked around the ring before letting him plummet to the mat.
Max Carter: Impressive show of strength by both World Breakers tonight. Mean, nasty and powerful. . .a dangerous combination for the EWC locker room.
World Breaker Axis tagged his partner back into the match before slinging the broken remaining member of The Crossroad Coven into the air in a powerbomb position. World Breaker Atlas scaled the roped much like he did last week but instead of coming off the top with an elbow drop, this time he soared through the air with his fists clasped over his head slamming them down onto his opponent's head with a double axe handle smash while his partner drove the man's body to the ground. Atlas stuck a foot on Lugosi's chest and referee Paul Turner slid into place to make the count:

Joe Aiello: Well thank God that's over. Another cold blooded showing by these two massive men, the World Breakers.
Max Carter: It doesn't look like these guys have a sympathetic bone in their bodies. Young, old. . .male, female. Doesn't matter to the World Breakers and you have to wonder what that means for the EWC tag team division. This dangerous duo is on a veritable war path and that may spell the end of the Moors Murders reign as the tag team champions!
Bennett: Maybe one day they will get actual roster opponents instead of begging like dogs looking for scraps .. lets move onto the next match which is actually fucking scheduled

CHASE REX
VS NEO JAMES CARNER
Joe Aiello: Right you are Steve .. this next match is actually a scheduled match
Max Carter: Now we have another Monday Night Brawl newcomer in Neo James Carner.
Jessica Stroup: Introducing first, weighing in at 258 pounds… NEEOOOO JAMMMEESSSS GAAARRRNNEERRR!
"Fightin' Words" By Casino Madrid begins to play melodically over the loud speakers as the of guitars ascend to the boiling point and the song engages with a fierce snare and double bass drums.
Neo begins to make a triumphant strut down to the ring, his chin held high as his hands lay at his side moving with his stride. He looks down all around at the people at the side of the ramps, he keeps his bearded chin up as he glides effortlessly forward in a striding saunter.
Neo makes it to the ringside area as he circles around the ring, jumping up effortlessly onto the apron and climbs into the ring. He walks over to the ropes on the side of the stage as he grabs the top rope with his hands and then yanks down on it, flexing all of his muscles before releasing it, a giant white and red pyro exploding out the top of the nearby turnbuckle like a mortar.
Neo roars into the air as he circles the ring, peering out into the crowd as he gives his bare chest a hardy slap. He has a grin on his face, he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and stares out into the crowd.
Neo rushes the ropes one more time and he yanks them with a mighty rip and the corner mortar pyro goes off again as the song keeps blaring over the PA. Neo rotates his neck as he steps to the nearest corner and leans against it cracking his knuckles and awaiting the match to begin.
Joe Aiello: Neo James Carner will be facing some stiff competition in his debut.
Max Carter: If he can pull of the win over Chase Rex, some heads will definitely turn.
DEAD!
The single lyric in the song works almost like a jump-scare over the PA, the lights cutting out in that same moment. A piano is the next thing that's heard and just as the song picks up and the drums come in, a sole spotlight hits the stage and highlights Chase Rex, who has Valerie Lennox at his side.
Jessica Stroup: From the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York by way of Birmingham, England - accompanied by Valerie Lennox, he is "A Sophisticated Man", Chase Rex!
He pauses for a moment, peering out at the crowd before heading down the ramp with Valerie in tow. Without any hesitation, he works his way to and up the steps, then slides his body between the ropes after wiping his boots on the apron. Once in the ring, Chase holds the top and middle rope open as Valerie climbs the steps after him and makes her entrance into the ring as well. He takes to the center of it with arms extended and head tilted back. The lights come back on, and Chase takes to a corner while Valerie crouches between the middle and bottom ropes and drops to ringside.
Joe Aiello: Chase Rex has been away for a bit, but I am sure he is ever bit as dangerous as before he left.
Steve “The Predator” Bennett: Damn right Joe. A sophisticated man such as Chase Rex never loses his edge.
DING DING DING
Chase Rex charges and catches Neo James Carner offguard with a Single Leg DropKick, knocking Carner back into the ropes. Chase Rex follows up with a Running European Uppercut, sending Carner through the ropes and onto the outside. Chase Rex yells something inaudibly at Carner. As he is leaning over, Carner grabs his feet and pulls him down. Carner slides under the ropes, back into the ring before the ref gets to 4. Both men are on their feet. They lock up, Carner uses his strength advantage to leverage Rex into the corner. But as he does Rex maneuvers Carner into an Arm Wrench and immediately follow with a Hook Kick, knocking Rex to the mat. Carner charges at Rex, but Rex moves and Carner collides with the turnbuckles hard enough to bounce back a step, Carner grabs Rex, lifts, and drives Rex into the mat with an Inverted Powerlam. THIS IS AWESOME!!!

Jessica Stroup: Here is your winner…CYYYRRUSSSS BLLLAAACKKK!
Joe Aiello: Cyrus Black with another impressive performance, and manages to hand Savage another tough loss.
Max Carter: Cyrus Black is going places in the EWC. What a match. Coming up we have a Tag Team Match pitting USA-Steel against Rebel Rhodes and Kestrel. And much more to come tonight on the last Brawl before Night of Champions.
We cut backstage where Victor Price is waiting with a big grin on his face, and encourages the cameras to follow him
Victor walks close to the ramp and spots Cyrus Black coming out after his victory over Tony Savage
Victor: Cyrus ..
Cyrus Black looks caught off guard as he sees Victor coming towards him
Victor: Impressive win tonight brother ..
Cryus: Um, wow .. thank you. I appreciate that
Victor: Look, I will get right to it. The Television Championship .. that shit should be around your waist. I know it, the fans know and you sure as hell know it. Night Of Champions .. your in. TV title match .. get it done, bring that bitch back home to Brawl
Cyrus: Thank you. I will do my best!
Victor pats Cyrus on the back and walks away .. Cyrus smirks and nods his head in excitement as the scene fades
Joe Aiello: We’ve certainly seen plenty of statements made already tonight, BRAWL’s final stop before Night of Champions!
Max Carter: It’s a prestigious event, and every man and woman knows that every title will be on the line two weeks from now!
Steve Bennett: All these son o’ bitches are out here to prove a point.
Joe Aiello: Indeed, some have done it better than-
“THE ACE OF SPADES! THE ACE OF SPADES!”
Joe Aiello: WHOA! Speaking of proving a point…
The Cleveland crowd has a partially mixed, though mostly positive reaction as the opening notes to ‘Ace of Spades’ rip through Quicken Loans Arena. The feed cuts backstage, and Ace King is shown walking toward the gorilla position, clad in a black leather jacket, black jeans, and his signature walkout shirt. A few seconds later, the man himself emerges on the stage through pyro and smoke!
Steve Bennett: This is a baaaaad son o’ bitch right here.
Joe Aiello: You said it, Ace King literally went to Hell on Friday Night Rampage, escaping the Devil’s Playground to punch a ticket for his shot at Drake’s Undisputed Championship!
Max Carter: A gutsy effort out of the veteran, to be sure, and he looks to be on a mission.
Joe Aiello: He’s got one thing on his mind, and that’s the Undisputed Championship.
Ace surveys the Cleveland crowd, then silently nods before calmly making his way to the ring, albeit with a bit of a limp while fans slap his outstretched hands along the way. He strolls around to the timekeeper’s bench and retrieves a microphone before diving into the ring under the bottom rope. He gets up to one knee and again surveys the crowd as ‘Ace of Spades’ fades out, replaced by about two-thirds of the building chanting his name. He nods in approval before getting to his feet, then raising the microphone to his mouth.
Ace King: What’s up, BelieveLand?
The crowd responds in kind with a cheap pop; Ace smirks before going to a turnbuckle and laying down across the ropes, looking out at the masses.
Ace King: There was no way I wouldn’t be here tonight, especially not after what went down about three hours up the highway a couple nights ago. Need a refresher? Well, ask and you shall receive. Roll it.
Ace gestures to the Tron, and it springs to life with footage from the most recent Rampage.
ManThing starts to climb the cage while Harvey tries to climb back up to escape, but does not make it far. ManThing grabs Harvey by the throat and Chokeslams him off the top of the cage back into the the cage through the table! Toni is trying to fight off JTC while Ace and Kaneki are climbing up the other side. ManThing grabs Toni through the cage and holds her back allowing JTC and Enchantra to tie her hair into the cage! Enchantra and JTC climb one side as Ace and Kaneki climb the other. All four are on top ManThing tries to grab JTC who kicks him off the cage. Ace and Kaneki trade shots as JTC and Enchantra do the same thing. Harvey Yorke is somehow to his feet and climbs the cage before pulling down JTC and Enchantra, causing all three to fall off to the protective mats back inside the cage. On the other side Kaneki tries to connect with a Headbutt to Ace who is able to block before hitting a haymaker causing Kaneki to fall back inside the cage! Ace starts to make his way down he gets half way before letting go and dropping to the outside!!!!!!!!
Emmanuelle Chriqui: Here is your winner by Escaping the cell! Ace King!!!!!!
Jesse Payne: Ace King wins! Ace King wins!
El Chupacabra: Ace King will now go onto Night of Champions and represent Rampage in the Triple Threat Match against Drake and whomever Brawl sends for the Undisputed Championship!
The barely standing Ace King looks out on the crowd triumphantly making a motion around his waist signaling that he plans on bringing the Undisputed Championship back to Rampage as we fade out!
DING DING DING!!!
Ace simply nods in approval at the footage, and the cheering has picked up, with about three-quarters of the building chanting ‘ACE! ACE! ACE!’ at this point. Ace gets off the ropes and hops to his feet, staring intently into the crowd.
Ace King: Yeah, it took a lot out of me, and yeah, you’re seeing me not quite at 100 percent; you’d expect nothing less out of a structure like the Devil’s Playground. But I’m here channeling my inner Elton John, because GODDAMNIT, I’M STILL STANDING!
The crowd explodes in a hearty round of applause for ‘The Gambler,’ whose expression is as steely as it’s ever been.
Ace King: And it means I get my first shot at reaching EWC’s summit, and it’s an opportunity I don’t plan on wasting.
Ace’s eyes narrow as his stone-faced expression remains in the midst of all the cheering. He takes a deep breath, then pushes his tongue into his cheek as he thinks of what he wants to say before raising the microphone once more.
Ace King: Now, I know I won’t be the popular pick to win the match, especially among those who bleed BRAWL red, not the least of which being the guy who calls the shots around here whenever he’s not being emasculated by anyone he comes in contact with.
The crowd boos the reference to Price, but Ace continues to push forward.
Ace King: Yeah, I know you’re not gonna like hearing of this, Victoria, but I didn’t like hearing any of what you said dismissing MY brand last week, but then… Then, I had an epiphany: You had to say what you said, because deep down, you don’t really believe any of your BRAWL challengers can do your dirty work in taking out Drake, whether it’s Thomas Uriel Bates…
The 430-pounder gets a nice ovation from the Cleveland crowd as ‘The Gambler’ nods.
Ace King: Or Nostalgia…
An 75-25 smattering of boos comes in for ‘The Prophet of Pain’ as Ace slowly paces around the ring.
Ace King: Or the literal Whizzer, Eddie Crank…
The boos are nearly deafening at the mention of the X-Division Champion; Ace has a hard time hiding his disgust, but he takes a moment to regain his composure before tilting his head sideways.
Ace King: Look, I’ve got no issues with the two big boys yet; Crank’s obviously another story, but that’s not the point. The point is you had to say what you said because you don’t BELIEVE in your roster. What kind of a message do you think that’s sending to them, ESPECIALLY here in BelieveLand?
Another huge, albeit cheap, pop from the local crowd in reference to their beloved Cavaliers. Ace pauses for a moment to soak it in before raising the microphone again.
Ace King: If you’re looking to light a fire under them, well done, but I’d tread lightly, because you never know who their target could be. Speaking of targets… Hello, Champ.
Almost immediately, duelling chants for Ace and Drake reverberate through Quicken Loans Arena, but the pro-BRAWL crowd holds an advantage with its chants for the Undisputed Champion. Ace shrugs his shoulders, then nods before continuing.
Ace King: I know you’re back there somewhere, Drake, so take a good, long look, because this is the face to go along with the name you’ve had on your lips for nearly half a year. While we’ve both thrown our fair share of shade at each other from a distance, I’ve at least stayed consistent in calling you by name where you couldn’t return the courtesy.
The crowd’s reaction is again split; Ace bows his head for a few seconds before quickly picking it back up, his eyes piercing through the camera.
Ace King: It’s fine, really, because you’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn. I’ve never hidden from anyone, and I don’t plan to start now. You know where I am, and you know where I’ll be. I’m not Amis Fuckin’ Shelton, I’m Ace goddamn King, and I’m walking out of Greensboro with the Undisputed Championship. Bet On It.
Ace flips the microphone to a somewhat split reaction from the fans, though most cheer him as he rolls out of the ring and heads back up the ramp.
The camera cuts backstage to where Kestrel is just stepping out of the locker room for her match. She walks down the hallway with an arrogant swagger, only to stop as Melinda Rhodes steps into view. The Rebel walks right up to her, Kestrel looking up three inches more with her head slightly tilted back to lock those uncaring, unfeeling eyes upon her 'tag partner' for the night.
Rebel: After this match is over, you and me--
Kestrel: Will go our separate ways. I will go on to the glory I deserve... and you'll go back in the gutter, where you belong.
Rhodes scowls, taking obvious issue with the blond's dismissive comments. Taking a step closer, it seems like things are going to escalate into violence... before Rebel is chuckling to herself.
Rebel: I get it, Kessie. I do. You get off on gettin' under people's skin, don't you? And if that's what gets you off, sweetpea, then that's fine. But you're not getting under my skin, not anymore. Will I sink back into oblivion? Maybe... but it isn't just me that's a danger for, now is it bitch?
Rhodes smirks as Kestrel glares daggers at her--though she's not fool enough to let the shorter woman speak up without interrupting her.
Kestrel: No--
Rebel: That's what I thought. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for me to be a fucking professional. I recommend you do the same for once in your Goddamn life.
And with that, the Rebel walks out of the shot...leaving the blond behind to stew in silence for a moment before she, too, heads toward the ring.
TAG TEAM MATCH
USA-STEEL
VS REBEL RHODES & KESTREL
USA-STEEL
VS REBEL RHODES & KESTREL
Aiello: Some big words from Rampage's own Ace King .. Next up we got some tag team action coming your way, and your about to see two competitors who went to war last week on BRAWL team up here tonight.
Jessica Stroup: Introducing first, at a combined weight of 495 Lbs, they are The Greatest Tag Team In The History Of The World, USA-STEEEEEELLLLLLL........
‘Born In The USA/Whisper in the Dark’ remix plays out and Mr. USA leads the team onto the stage with his arms full of FREE Mr. USA merchandise, masks, t-shirts, mouse pad, etc. Harvey Steel walks out behind him and at a distance as a teen would with the parents out of sheer embarrassment at their behavior. Mr. USA begins handing out the free stuff as he walks to the rings, taking selfies and high fiving the fans as Harvey ignores them and marches right to the ring and waits as his partner finishes handing out the Mr. USA gear and joins him. They huddle up briefly before climbing into the ring and wait for the bell.
Carter: With a name like the greatest tag team in the world there is always an exception when USA-Steel comes out to play.
Bennett: I like Harvey Steel, but i'm not to fond of Mr. USA. I mean why does he always call himself Mr? Has he got a boring first name that he doesnt want anyone to know about? Like Doug or Harold. Something fishy going on there.
Jessica Stroup: And there opponents, introducing first residing from Cortez, Colorado, weighting in at 152 pounds …. she is The Rebel …. MELINDAAAAAA RHODESSSSSSSSSSSS
#SHOT THROUGH THA' HEART AND YOU'RE TO BLAME....
#...DARLIN' YOU GIVE LOVE... A BAD NAME!
#FUCK YYYYYYEEEEAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Atreyu's cover of Bon Jovi's classic, "You Give Love a Bad Name" Assault the P/A system. Through the curtains steps a fit, pale skinned, raven haired and heavily tattooed woman. Her dark brown eyes wander over the crowd as she stands upon the stage, taking it all in for a moment. On her face we find dark crimson painted on her full lips and red highlighted black eye shadow over her eyes. Her modest chest is contained by a fringed red and blue leather vest, her ass covered by black and silver tights. She sports standard black pads on her elbows and knees, with knee high laced wrestling boots to match. On her wrists are red, white, and blue bands. Upon her hips rests a thick black leather belt with a large and square silver buckle that reads in an ornate font, "Rebel."
She makes her way to the ring with a confident stride, slapping fives with a few outstretched hands as she does so. It doesn't take her long to reach ringside. She climbs the steps, wipes her feet on the apron, and slips through the ropes. Giving the crowd a three finger salute, Rebel Rhodes backs into a corner of her choosing and waits...
Aiello: This is going to be very interesting, Rebel Rhodes and Kestrel beat the crap out of each other last week, lets see if they can put that to one side and work as team here tonight.
Bennett: Yeah that's never gonna happen. Things never end well when you put two combustible elements together. I predict fireworks in the ring very shortly.
Jessica Stroup: ...and coming to the ring, residing from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 155 Lbs... KEEESSSSSTREEELLLL
The overhead lights dim as the sound of a chopper flying overhead fills the air, the opening for 'Torture' taking over a few seconds later. As the song kicks into proper gear alongside of Layla Brooklyn Allman's scream, lights of a muted shade of pink and white swirl out over the crowd as smoke rises up through the grating of the rampway, the crowd filling the air with their boos in anticipation for the woman that is about to come out.
The song jumps to the chorus as Kestrel emerges from the back, the slender blond thrusting her fists over her head garnering more of that heated reaction… though such is not something that she seems concerned with. Rather, it appears that the gesture is for her own benefit, and hers alone if one goes by the deep breath she takes before she's in motion anew. As she makes her way down the ramp, it becomes readily apparent that she's not paying the crowd much of a reaction at all-- even a brave fan's successful attempt to run his fingers through the long strands of her hair is ignored beyond the faintest flick of her head away from the touch.
Climbing the stairs, Kestrel puts her back to the ring ropes as she looks out over the crowd, though it could be argued quite easily that she's looking past them. A subtle shake of her head and she's kicking off the ring apron to flip into the ring, landing lightly on her feet. From there, she merely makes her way over to her corner and waits for the match to begin.
Carter: Something tells me that Kestrel doesn't play well with others.
Bennett: Last week you called her finishing move wrong Carter, it's called broken wings not clipped wings, you idiot.
Carter: What? That wasn't me, was it?
Bennett: She's gonna come over here and beat the snot right out of you.
DING DING DING
The ref calls for the bell. Mr. USA and Harvey Steel are in there corner, they do rock-paper-scissors to see who goes in first, Harvey wins much to the displeasure of Mr.USA. Rebel enters the ring first for her team, just as she does Kestrel slaps her in the back and makes a tag. Rebel turns and eyeballs Kestrel with anger and disgust. Kestrel has a sly smile on her face as she gets in the ring and doesn't even make eye contact with Rebel. The ref tells Rebel to get out of the ring.
Aiello: Kestrel making the tag with Rebel without Rebels consent right there and the match hasn't even properly started yet!
Bennett: Kestrel making sure Rebel knows who the boss is.
Carter: How long until this make shift team implodes, not long is my guess.
Harvey Steel locks up with Kestrel, whipping her off the ropes and back to him. Harvey spins around Kestrel as she comes back to him, locking his arms around her waist he throws her back for a German suplex but Kestrel flips over and lands on her feet! Harvey gets up, before he has time to react Kestrel rushes at him and swipes his legs away sending him crashing to the mat.
Aiello: What athleticism by Kestrel to land on her feet there!
Kestrel looks over at Rebel with a smile on her face before she turns back to Harvey and starts raining kicks down on top of him. With Harvey still on the mat, Kestrel hits him with a sitting splash to the knee. Not wasting any time at all, she then grabs his knee and twists it. Harvey yells out in agony.
Carter: Kestrel is vicious!
Harvey kicks Kestrel in the face with his other leg causing her to release the hold and fall back. Harvey crawls away towards his corner and makes the tag to Mr.USA. Kestrel scrambles to her feet and suddenly she gets slapped in the back by Rebel! The ref calls the tag! Rebel climbs in the ring and winks at Kestrel who looks furious. The ref has to usher Kestrel out of the ring.
Aiello: A little bit of payback there by Rebel.
Carter: It's like a game of one-upmanship between these two.
Mr USA whips Rebel off the ropes, she comes right back at him, hitting him running dropkick to the chest. Mr. USA falls back into the corner. Rebel runs at him and hits with a high knee to the face, leaving Mr.USA stunned in the corner. Rebel lifts Mr.USA up onto the top turnbuckle as she climbs with him, she hooks him up for the super-plex, before she performs the move she turns and looks over at Kestrel in the opposite corner. She blows Kestrel a kiss, then she lifts Mr.USA up and they go crashing to the mat as she hits him with the super-plex.
Aiello: Rebel Rhodes pulling off a perfect super-plex right there, but did you see her taunting Kestrel beforehand.
Bennett: That is not a good idea at all, Kestrel will rip your head off and feed it to you if you even look at her the wrong way.
Carter: I don't see the problem, i wouldn't mind Rebel blowing me a little kiss.
As Rebel gets to her feet, Kestrel gives her a sarcastic applause. Rebel picks Mr.USA up, but she doesn't take her eyes off Kestrel, seemingly distracted. Mr.USA takes advantage as he whips Rebel off the ropes fast, as she comes back he catches her with a spinning spine buster. Kestrel can be heard laughing in the corner as Rebel holds her back in pain. Mr.USA drags himself over to his corner and tags Harvey Steel. Harvey lifts Rebel up high for suplex, as he brings her down Mr.USA is waiting holding his knee out. Rebels back crashes right into Mr.USA's knee as she comes down. Mr USA holds his hand up for a high five but Harvey ignores him.
Aiello: Team work right there by USA-Steel!
Carter: Rebel has to concentrate on the match and not on Kestrel.
Bennett: Maybe Rebel also has Hope Diamond still on her mind.
Aiello: That's a given, there rivalry is far from over.
Harvey picks Rebel up and lifts her and hits her with the falcon arrow. He pins her. The ref counts....
ONE....
.
.
.
TWO... KICKOUT BY REBEL!
Aiello: One thing you can say about Rebel is that she's tough as nails.
Carter: Sure is, last week when she was bleeding heavily and she still wouldn't give in when Kestrel had her in the broken wings!
Bennett: You sure that's what its called, better get it right this time or Kestrel's gonna get ya! HA!
Harvey picks Rebel up, as he does Rebel catches him off guard with an Enziguri. Harvey falls to the floor, Rebel pulls herself over to her corner, Kestrel stands waiting with her hand out stretched. Rebel reaches out and makes the tag to Kestrel. Kestrel runs in the ring quick as a flash, giving Harvey a hard chop block and then hitting him with kicks and punches to his body. Harvey tries to block them but Kestrel is too fast for him. Kestrel grabs him and pulls him down with a snapmare right into a Spinal Tap.
Carter: Damn, that girl got skills!
Kestrel suddenly locks in the Hollowed Bones on Harvey, who screams in pain. She applies as much pressure as possible, just when it looks like he's ready to give up Mr.USA runs in the ring and kicks Kestrel in the back of the head causing her to release the hold. As she holds the back of her head, before he pulls Harvey to the corner and tags himself him. Then Mr USA heads over to Kestrel, he bends over her and asks if shes ok and then he apologizes to her, he then tries to help her to her feet.
Bennett: What the hell is this idiot doing?
Carter: He's being a gentlemen Steve! It's admirable...
Aiello: Admirable maybe but also very unwise! He's walked into the lions den.
As Mr.USA helps Kestrel to her feet she turns and clocks him right in the face with a hard elbow. As he stumbles back shocked Kestrel keeps at him, hitting him with a couple of sharp kicks to the knees and waist. Harvey Steel gets up and just as he's about to grab Kestrel from behind Rebel comes into the ring from nowhere and starts raining punches and kicks down on him. Kestrel and Rebel each grab an arm of Harvey's, they whip him off the ropes and as he comes back, they hit him with a high double back body drop.
Aiello: I don't believe it, they are working as a team.
They both turn there attentions towards Mr.USA. Kestrel and Rebel both start hitting Mr.USA with kicks and punches to the body and face. The fans are loving it, chanting and cheering like mad as both Rebel and Kestrel rain down a vicious assault on Mr USA.
Carter: That's what you get for being a gentlemen these days!
Kestrel grabs MR.USA and pulls him down, locking him in the Broken Wings!! Harvey runs over to break it up but from nowhere Rebel hits him with the Shot Through the Heart!! Mr. USA can't hold any longer and he taps out!!!!
DING DING DING
Jessica Stroup: Here as your winners by submission!!! Kestrel and the Rebel Melinda Rhodes!
The ref holds both there hands up in victory as Mr.USA rolls to the outside of the ring, he pulls Harvey out with him and helps him up to the back.
Aiello: A well deserved victory for Rebel and Kestrel, they worked better as a team than i thought they would.
Carter: Wait, somethings happening in the ring here!
Rebel holds her hand out for Kestrel to shake. Kestrel stares at it for a moment, contemplating her decision, before she turns her back on Rebel and climbs out of the ring, heading up the ramp. Rebel shakes her head and watches Kestrel leave.
Carter: Rebel tried to extend the handshake but Kestrel was having none of it.
Bennett: I wonder what the future holds for Rebel Rhodes and Kestrel.
Aiello: I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between the two that's for sure. We will be right back with you after this short break
The camera follows Kestrel as she walks backstage, the blond not bothering to do much celebrating. If anything, she just wants a cigarette and solitude. Unfortunately for her, such isn't going to be so simple to attain since Melinda 'Rebel' Rhodes is catching up with her.
Rebel: Hey, hold up Kes!
One can openly see Kestrel roll her eyes at the sound of the other woman's voice. For a moment, it seems that she's going to ignore those words--but she ultimately decides to just stop and let Rebel catch up to her since it'll be more trouble to not give Melinda the chance to speak her mind. That doesn't make her tone any more welcoming, though.
Kestrel: What? If you want to thank me, save your breath. I'm not interested in fake gratitude.
Melinda moves in a bit closer to Kestrel, a small smirk playing on those ruby red lips.
Rebel: What you just did out there? That is what a world class competitor does. You sucked it up, got in the ring, and even though you didn't want to do it, you did it. We won the match and that wouldn't have happened without you there.
Kestrel: Clearly.
The temperature seemingly drops a few degrees from the coldness of the blond's tone. A brow quirks.
Kestrel: I know what it takes to be a world class competitor because I am one, Melinda. You?
All Kestrel has to do to elaborate on that is shake her head. Mel quirks her brow a bit and tilts her head ever so slightly to the left, the smirk from before fading a bit.
Rebel: Kestrel, I'll give you that much. You've wrestled all over the world, claimed victory after victory against some of the toughest wrestlers out there in the world today. Nobody can take away from you what you've done, but, while I may be trailing you, it's only a matter of time before this train catches up to you on the tracks. The only difference is-
If Melinda thought Kestrel's tone was cold before... now? It's so frigid, it's a wonder it's not freezing the area around the blond in place.
Kestrel: --that you need to unhitch your sorry ass off of my train and learn how to take care of yourself instead of relying on riding on coattails to get anywhere. Now if you're done trying to shove this sisterhood bullshit down my throat, I have other business to attend to.
And with that, the blond is turning her back on Rhodes, making her way out of the frame. Melinda stares after the departed submissionist for a moment before she sighs, shaking her head and going the opposite direction.
EWC TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
KNOCK-OUT MATCH
EMMA LOUISE
VS VALORA THOMAS
WINNER MUST KNOCK OUT OPPONENT FOR A 10 COUNT
WINNER MUST KNOCK OUT OPPONENT FOR A 10 COUNT
Aiello: The tag team action left the crowd pumped for the next event. We are going to see something that is becoming sort of a fixture in the shows but always exiting nevertheless.
Bennett: My girl Emma Van Damme gets another chance to kick the ass of the Karate cutie Valora Thomas.
Carter: Something she has not been so successful in so far.
Bennett: Not yet boy. That´s right. But Val Thomas is no longer whom she used to be. And tonight the TV belt is at stake.
Jessica Stroup: Our next tonight is scheduled not for one fall but for a knockout for the count of ten! …. Coming to the ring first from London via Los Santos, the Ever Beautiful and Very Dangerous … EMMAAAAA… LOUISEEEEEEE!!!
Neo Geo plays and Emma dances through the curtain. She waves to the crowd and then walks, half dancing to the ring, waving to the crowd as she goes before slipping feet first through the ropes like an envelope before laying suggestively over the top rope
Aiello: Emma has a history with Val Thomas and so far no win against her in her books. This time she is facing a weakened opponent and has another shot to win a belt.
Bennett: Her schedule has been less busy than Val´s. Emma had time to prepare for this moment and I´m sure she did.
Carter: You think that is enough to beat Thomas?
Bennett: Kid, you´ve seen Val Thomas lately?
"Kick In The Teeth" by Papa Roach plays and Valora comes out with her manager, Mick, behind her. As she heads down the aisle toward the ring, Mick remains behind her, giving her last minute instructions and motivational utterings. She tags hands here and there before running up the steps and entering into the ring, where she goes about doing some boxing and kicks that "ooooh" and "awe" the fans. As her music dies, she goes to her corner and engages in some more warm up exercises.
Jessica Stroup: And her opponent… from Phoenix, Arizona.. weighting in at 145 pounds… tehr eigning EWC Television Champion …. VALORA THOMASSSSS!!!!
Aiello: The Predator is right. The still reigning TV champ has been through some rough times lately. Beaten twice by Hope Diamond and chastised by the GM Vic Price her nimbus as a top-notch fighter has taken a lot of damage. I´m curious what kind of Valora we will see to night.
Bennett: Her confidence should be much more shaken and stirred than Emma´s.
Carter: Or maybe she has dug deep and found something she didn´t have.
DING! DING! DING!
Bolting out of her corner Emma hits Valora with a stiff Spear accentuated by a barrage of Chops and Cross chops that resonate through the Quicken Loans arena like gunshots. Beating Val into the ropes within the first few seconds of the match, Emma follows through with a Snap Suplex and a Standing Moonsault before picking up Val again…
WHAM!!!
Emma flies into the ropes, rebounds and gets hit again
WHAM!!!
gets hit again.
Bennett: What the hell was that?
Aiello: Haven´t seen that in years or more like in decades. It´s the Mongolian Chop nearly breaking Emma´s neck here.
Bennett: No way!
Carter: Unreal! I have a feeling that Val Thomas learned from her experience with Hope Diamond and added a few unpredictable surprises to her arsenal herself. You owe me five Bennett.
Bennett: Forget it.
In the ring Valora has delivered two devastating Mongolian chops to Emma and now Irish whips her into a corner to unload fists, knees and elbows into her. Emma takes the punishment and slowly slides gown the ring post. Then however, she grabs Val´s legs and pulls the away from under her, landing the TV Champion flat on her back.
Emma pulls her elf up with the help of the ropes and ascends to the top rope to come down with a Diving Spear as soon as Valora stirs. The TV champ is once again driven into the mat and very hard to boot.
Emma rolls aside and is back on her feet for a knee drop to Val´s head, then another. She suplexes the stunned Valora and locks in an HLA. Both wrestlers are on their knees as Emma tightens her favorite submission hold around Valora´s neck. The British redhead struggles visibly with clenched teeth and labored breaths in her attempt to put Val to sleep very early in the fight instead of making her tap out. Emma slowly climbs to her feet, making the HLA even worse now that Val´s body weight strains her neck and throat.
Bennett: Emma has been working on her move, making it some real killer.
Emma is standing now with her arms grapevined around Valora´s head, stretching and constricting her throat at the same time as Val is still on her knees.
A blink of an eye later Val is suddenly vertical again, having pushed herself up with one explosive move. She lifts Emma into an upside-down position and falls backward, taking the Ever Dangerous with her and slamming her into the mat with a virtue-out-of-necessity Vertical Suplex.
Propped up on her forearms and knees Valora gags and chokes. Emma is better off from the fall, already charging her again and catching Val in a second HLA.
Aiello: Very intelligent move from Emma. She is starting again where she left off.
Bennett: She´s gonna unscrew Val´s head.
Carter: Looks like that, indeed.
It´s the side-inverted image from twenty seconds ago with Val stuck in the same choke hold and Emma powering up the hold with all she has. This time Val has a bit more leverage though. She lands some hard and heavy knees in Emma´s lower ribs until she can break the HLA and then puts her own submission skills to use with a Bridging armbar. Emma screams perhaps as much out of rage than out of pain. Unable to pull her arm free through sheer strength Emma rolls around, sideways, back and forth to take some pressure off of her arm and to shake the hold loose.
Emma eventually succeeds and manages to pull her arm free. Valora snaps out of the bridge back into a standing position. While the hold didn´t work as she had intended she has recovered from the double stranglehold put on her. But Emma is also back in action and while she favors her arm fresh out of the submission hold she nails a Reverse Roundhouse kick smack into Valora´s face followed by a Back Heel kick.
Bennett: Emma beating the Karate cutie in her own kicking game.
Carter: Difficult to say what Val´s game is these days. As much as I dislike Hope Diamond her victory seemingly was sort of a wake-up call for Thomas to broaden her in-ring skills.
Right now it is still Emma who displays her in-ring skills and her grasp of martial arts techniques. She drives home a thrust kick to the gut, a spin kick to the chin and several Cross chops that knock Valora into the ropes before Thomas can break Emma´s stride when she drops into a cheerleader split and comes back with a Shining Wizard into Emma´s jaw.
But the Brit is notoriously just as good at absorbing damage as Thomas herself. Emma is knocked back several steps and staggers but finds her footing in time to dodge out of a DDT attempt and hip toss Thomas.
Valora rolls away to escape a stomp but has to eat another hard shoulder tackle when she gets up. Thomas is however, able to catch Emma´s leg andtake her down as well with a quick Dragon whip.
Emma breaks her fall and cartwheels away thus barely escaping Thomas´ backflip Ninja kick.
Aiello: these ladies play a high-speed game. I´ve seen pin balls move at slower rates.
Indeed while neither Emma nor Valora can hide the fact that they have been in a taxing and punishing match both wrestlers are far from done and continue with the high-speed octane-soaked show that has the fans on the edges of their seats.
Valora is on the roll now. After nailing a nasty Baseball slide Drop kick into her knees Thomas disrupted her equilibrium further with a Bell Clap and now unloads a Superwoman punch that knocks Emma halfway across the ring.
She tries to rise but falls back and the ref starts the count.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE…
FOUR….
Thomas leans into the ropes shaking her head to clear the cobwebs and massaging her hurt neck.

EIG…
Emma´s arm rises giving a one-finger salute in Thomas´ direction before Emma flips back onto her feet at eight-and-a-half.
Aiello: Emma knows her mind games as well.
Bennett: That ain´t no game anymore- Look at her face.
Carter: She does have a sense of humor for sure and she seems to know that Valora´s nerves are rattled.
Emma rubs her jaw that has absorbed most of Thomas´ last attack. She then raises both arms high with fingers spread, indicating she wants a test of strength against her opponent. Thomas clenches her jaw but nods and laces hands with Emma.
They struggle back and forth, pushing each other forward and backward and until finally Thomas´ left knee starts to give in.
Aiello: That must be one bad deja vu for Valora.
Bennett: Worse than that because Emma has no size advantage. It´s sheer force and determination. She´s psyching-out Thomas´ here.
Carter: She´s making quite a statement of her strength too.
Emma lets out a triumphant shout when she has Valora down on both knees, roughly yanks her up again and ….
… takes a Shining Wizard right into her temple that drops her like a sack of coals.
Thomas gets behind her and starts to wraps her legs around the neck of the stunned Brit.
Aiello: Now what is this?
Bennett: Son o´ bitch.
Carter: I can´t believe it. That is the Diamonds Curse, Hope Diamond´s finisher.
Aiello: Hope really got deep into Thomas´ head. Way too deep perhaps.
Now matter what is going on in Thomas´´ mind she now has the finisher of her nemesis Hope Diamond locked and tries to choke Emma unconscious with it. Emmapulls on Valora´s wrists and ankle for no effect while her face is turned deep red and her eyes seem to pop out of their sockets.
Aiello: No matter how strong Emma can´t take that much longer.
Finally Emma stops to struggle. Her eyelids close, her arms slump down at her sides and her chin sinks down on her chest.
The referee checks on Emma and starts to count.

Carter: Has Thomas loosened the hold yet?
Aiello: Don´t think so.

No middle finger comes up on Emma´s part this time.

DING! DING! DING!
Jessica Stroup: And your winner by knockout is …. The still reigning EWC Television Champion… VALORA THOMASSSSS!!!!
Aiello: Thomas defended her title successfully. That was important for her. Even more important perhaps was the way how she won.
Bennett: Emma almost had her beaten less than five minutes into the match.
Carter: Almost only counts when you throw horse shoes but I give you that: Emma gave Thomas one hell of a fight. The champ is on her last leg.
Black Diamond by Stratovarius hits the PA system and Hope Diamond starts to walk down the ramp in a University of South Carolina tee, jeans and sneakers with a mic in her right hand and the secondary X-Division belt in her left.
Aiello: Oh, oh!
Bennett: And there comes the daughter o´ bitch lawnmower for Val´s grassy ass.
Carter: She should be banned from ringside by now.
Hope gives the three commentators a smile and a wink before she stops on the middle step leading to the ring. She blows a kiss to Valora who sits on the mat sweaty, crumpled and exhausted.
Hope: Good evening K-cutie! You look pretty beaten up tonight but what else is new? Look Val my lovely, originally I came here to help Mel Rhodes get rid of her paranoia because there are no dogs I send after her ass. Not yet anyway. Imagine how surprised I was when I caught sight of you using my finisher. Imagine how little surprised I was to see that you don´t do it right. Just keep sitting there and I show you how it´s done.
Hope lays down the mic in the corner and steps through the ropes. Despite the toll the match has taken on her Valora attacks her immediately.
A Mongolian chop hits home and a couple of knees to Hope´s midsection follow but when Hope pushes Val away and she lands on the mat once more it becomes apparent that the Karate cutie has lost a lot of her usual strength to Emma already.
Hope raises her arms and smiles at the booing crowd. Val comes for her again but this time Thomas runs right into an Enzuigiri that almost disembowels her.
With an arrogant smirk plastered all over her face Hope picks up the mic once more and saunters behind Val. To a chorus of boos she sits down and begins to lock in the Diamonds Curse, taking her sweet time with her groggy opponent.
Hope: And now ladies and gentlemen this is how it is done. I´m going to demonstrate in slow motion the fabled Diamonds Curse.
Aiello: Oh Jesus H. Christ
Bennett: Check the calendar. It´s Fuck Valora Day.
Carter: This cannot be.
Hope leans back and tightens her hold until Valora Thomas starts to shiver and twitch then she releases her some.
Hope: Now if you do it right you can keep her opponent conscious as long as you wish if you want to win by tap out. Of course you can also put your opponent to sleep – like that!
Valora bucks violently as Hope suddenly clamps down on her real hard and goes limp. Hope gets up, once again placing a foot on the unconscious Valora.
Hope: Now that was fun although it´s getting a bit old. And now for the real reason why I´m here. Rebel Rhodes, I don´t know what you smoked or popped but if someone´s after you it is not me. Maybe some guy who wants to compare tattoos with you but that is not my business. Make no mistake, you have something coming your way for now I have other fishes to fry.
She drops the mic on Valora´s chest and exits the ring, walking back up the ramp with paying attention to the heat she gets from the seats.
The scene opens with Victor Price sitting backstage
Victor: There you are
Victor stands up and walks towards Kestrel who is heading towards the parking lot
Kestrel: Ah, Mister Price... what can I do for you?
Her smile was warm and welcoming--and contagious despite how it seems a little fake, as it turns out, since Vincent can't help but return it.
Vincent: Look... I've been really impressed with how you've done since you've come back to the EWC. You've looked good, really good in the ring. Tonight sort of confirmed what I wanted to do.
Kestrel quirks a brow.
Kestrel: Oh? And what is that?
Vincent: I want you to battle for the Television Championship at Night of Champions. I think you have what it takes to keep that title on Brawl.
Kestrel's smile grows warmer, almost warm enough to reach her eyes--not that Vincent notices. The way she lightly rests her hand on his shoulder and heaps on the praise sees to that.
Kestrel: Of course. I'd never dream of letting down a man of your esteem.
Is that a trick of the light, or is Vincent blushing? Chuckling almost bashfully, he nods.
Vincent: I'll reward you handsomely if you do me proud.
Kestrel: I'm sure.
Vincent walks out of the shot, leaving the blond alone. Waiting for a moment, she checks to ensure that the coast is clear before wiping her hand off on the denim of her jeans before she heads off as well.
SINGLES MATCH - NON TITLE
SALEM SHEPARD
VS DRAKE
Aiello: Our next match has Salem "Schizo" Shepard going up against the EWC Undisputed Champion of the World!
Bennett: Call Drake a bleeding heart all you want, he'll bleed your face all the same.
Carter: Schizo has been heard talking serious smack in the back, though I'm sure we all know why he avoided doing that in front of a camera.
Bennett: He's a smart guy, but if you blab to the wrong wrestler, it won't matter if there's a camera present.
Jessica Stroup: INTRODUCING FIRST FROM OAKLAHOMA.....
Blue flames shoot out from both sides of the darkened ramp as the howling growls blast from the PA. Salem appears from the smoking flames, excitement on his painted face, eyes wide as the walks to the ring ignoring the fans on both sides.
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT SIX-FOOT THREE & WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVEN POUNDS...
SSSSCHIZO SSSSSHHHHEEEPPPPAAAAARRRDDD!!
Bennett: Look at him walking around like he just doesn't care. Is he seriously picking his nose on live TV?
Carter: Apparently and he just flicked a booger at a fan. Wonderful.
Jessica Stroup: AND HIS OPPONENT, FROM BROOKLYN, NEW YORK....
Explosions rocket from the stage, catching the fans off guard as "The Sounds of Madness" by Shinedown begins to play! Stepping into view, Drake runs to the end of the stage and crouches, looking out into the sea of fans. There is a sarcastic smile on his face, as he shakes his head, overwhelmed by the fans around him!
Jessica Stroup: Hailing from Brooklyn, NEW YORK! Please welcome... the EWC Undisputed and International Champion.. DRAKE!!!
Nodding his head, Drake hops up to his feet and cranks his arm. He then heads down the rampway and runs towards the ring as the fans cheer him on. His dark pupils stare at the ring as the arena explodes around him. Arriving at ringside, Drake hops up to the ring apron and remains in place.. looking out at the fans around him. He then walks along the outside of the ring and ascends the turnbuckle, looking out at the fans as they offer their support! Drake slowly unbuckles his championship and raises it above his head for all to see!
Jessica Stroup: STANDING AT SIX FEET AND TWO INCHES TALL AND WEIGHING IN AT TWO HUNDRED AND TEN POUNDS....
Nodding his head once again, Drake enters the ring and slowly struts around, his arms held out as he soaks up the fans' responses. His theme song slowly fades out as Drake ascends a turnbuckle, finding a seat on the top pad. The fans continue to cheer as the theme song comes to an end.
Jessica Stroup: THE UNDISPUTED EWC CHAMPION.... DDDDDRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!
Carter: The Champ is HERE!
Bennett: Hey that's John Blade's line!
Aiello: And now both competitors are face to face....
Drake smiles at Salem as the face painted clown throws his arms out at his sides, talking what appears to be an epic train of smack talk.
DING DING DING!
The ref rings the bell just as Drake starts to laugh and immediately Salem goes for the cheap shot, but Drake expected it, blocking the shot and slapping the ICP reject hard enough to send him stumbling back. He immediately turns and tries for a fast back chop but Drake catches him with a fast superkick right in Salem's jaw that snaps his head back, but doesn't quite drop him. Drake hops back then spins around and rocks the Clown faced brawler off his feet with a solid clothesline!
Carter: Salem is down but fighting to get back up from the Brain Freeze!
Bennett: Stay down ya' moron!!!
Salem doesn't bother listening to Bennett, not that he could hear him anyways. He's immediately caught in a three quarter necklock and dropped straight to the canvas with...
Aiello: DRAKE WITH THE MAX OVERDRIVE!!!!
Bennett: Why ain't he pinning the guy?!
Drake shakes his head, smiling to the fans as he picks up the heap that is Salem Shepard, and shouts in Salem's groggy face, "WE'RE NOT ON YOUR LEVEL YOU SAY?!" Then pulls him into a front facelock and drops with the Death Note DDT.
Carter: Ooooooooooo....
Bennett: Drake put some stank on that dank Death Note DDT!
The Undisputed Champion makes a mock pinfall, but just as the Ref goes to slap the hand to the mat, he instead locks Salem up in his take on the Anaconda Vice....
Aiello: THE MACHINE IS LOCKED IN!!!! SALEM CARTER ISN'T EVEN MOVING!!
Bennett: Good! Maybe he'll stop breathing. I hate ICP wanna-be's.
Carter: The Ref is checking Salem...
...With Drake shouting at him, "CALL THE MATCH, HE'S OUT COLD!" The ref lifts the arm and it drops. He lifts it again, and it drops again. On the final drop, it plops to the mat and he motions for the bell.
DING DING DING!
Jessica Stroup: THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH BY SUBMISSION KNOCKOUT.... THE UNDISPUTED EWC CHAMPION, DDDDDDRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!
Drake releases the unconscious Salem Carter and rises to his feet with a shrug of his shoulders while saying, "Piece of cake!" He then waves off his fallen foe and rolls out of the ring in non-chalant fashion as his music plays over the P/A. Drake even laughs and jokes with some fans as he slaps hands with them on the way to the back.
Aiello: Rarely have I ever seen someone get dismantled with such great ease as we have just witnessed tonight in that EWC ring.
Bennett: Hell, even at his absolute shittiest, John Blade puts up a better fight that Salem Shepard. I can't even call that bag of flaming dog turds a Schizo. He's just another ICP Reject who thought he could hang in the EWC.
Carter: I think those three in the Main Event and Ace King have all been put on notice .. the EWC Champion is not playing around. He knows whats at stake and he's heading into Night of Champions with a dominating victory .. We'll be back with tonight's Main Event after these words from our sponsors!
UNDISPUTED TOURNAMENT
ROUND 2 - TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
THOMAS URIEL BATES
VS NOSTALGIA
VS EDDIE CRANK
VS NOSTALGIA
VS EDDIE CRANK
'Midnight Rider' by the Allman Brothers Band blares over the PA system as the titron begins showing clips of Thomas Uriel Bates, alternating between clips of his ring experience, and a long solitary ride on his motorcycle. As the video continues to play, Thomas Uriel Bates steps out to the stage wearing his wrestling attire.
Jessica Stroup: Ladies and Gentlemen the following contest is for the Number one contender spot for the Undisputed EWC Championship, making his way to the ring, weighing in at four hundred and thirty pounds, and standing at six foot, nine inches. From Huntsville, Alabama; Thomas Uriel Bates!
Bates glares down at the ring, staring intensely a the ring as he walks towards it. He arrives at the ring and walks up the steps, moving to the center of the apron. He looks out towards the fans as he steps over the top rope and enters the ring. Bates steps towards the center, turns to face the stage, and stretches out his arms as he roars. The crowd joins in, amplifying the thunderous effect.
‘Game of Thrones’ – Ramin Djawadi echoes throughout the arena for a few seconds before Nostalgia walks onto the ramp from backstage with arms above his head forming an X.
Jessica Stroups: And his opponent from Pine Barrens New Jersey, weighing in and 308 lbs. Nostalgia!
As he gets to the center of the stage, he brings his arms down and taps on his chest twice, then throws his arms out before taking a knee. Pyrotechnics explode around him, after a few seconds Nostalgia explodes through the pyrotechnics and raises throws his right fist in the air with pride, giving the fans the chance to notice his black T-shirt displaying Nostalgia sitting on the Iron Throne featured on the hit show Game of Thrones, with a Great Horned Owl on his arm. He jogs down the ramp, hops on the apron, then over the ropes. He walks to the center of the ring walks around peering into the crowd before taking his corner.
The EWC cameras take us backstage where Eddie Crank, followed by his coach and the rest of his team, is marching towards the entrance as ‘Foggy Dew’ echoes in the arena.
Eddie is prancing around, practicing his footwork as he goes, throwing air punches and having a good time. The Irish in the audience are having an even bigger blast than Eddie is, donning Irish colors and painting the entire arena green, orange and white.
Jessica Stroup: And their opponent, from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at 165 lbs. Eddie Crank!
Eddie’s theme switches from ‘Foggy Dew’ to ‘Unchained’ and the crowd goes wilder and wilder by the second while Eddie makes his way to the ring, barely having any space around him thanks to his crew and the Irish fans trying to touch and high five him.
Crank starts circling the ring and talking trash, warming up for the fight with a smile on his face.
Eddie starts shadow boxing and kicking, practicing over his movements and getting nice and limber for the fight.
The three fighters stand in the center of the ring as the referee explains the rules of the match to them. Once he is done he sends them all to their various corners and calls for the bell.
Aiello: The moment we have all been waiting for, what a fight this is going to be
Bennett: You are absolutely right; two literal giants face off and against Eddie fookin’ Crank
Carter: Both men make Eddie Crank look like a bug out there.
Bennett: Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee
DING DING DING!!!
As the bell goes off the men begin to circle each other in the ring, each of them hesitant to make the first move. The motion continues till Thomas Bates goes for Nostalgia, he grapples the man but he frees himself soon after and then deals a kick to the midsection of Bates. With Bates bent over Eddie Crank bursts into the scene with a spinning kick to the back of the neck, the hit grounds the man and Crank is immediately engaged by Nostalgia Who Scoop Slams him on top of Bates and instantly follows up with an elbow drop that sends echoes of pain through both bodies on the mat.
Nostalgia picks up Bates and hooks him in for a suplex but the man hinders the move with a hook in the leg, he then returns with a move of his own lifting Nostalgia in the air and slamming him into the mat with a jackhammer slam. The entire ring trembles under the weight of the giant splattering into the mat, but Bates isn’t done. Bates brings Crank to his feet and is immediately caught with a quick combination of punches striking him right in the face and stunning him. The Irish Champion downs the man with a spinning elbow and lets out a loud cry as the fans rain cheers down at him.
Aiello: Impressive match up so far, its been back and forth between all three
Bennett: Every single one of them is giving it their absolute all
Carter: You would too with what is at stake! A shot at the Undisputed Championship
Eddie Crank pounces on Nostalgia as he tries to get up and ravishes punches right into his face from a full mount position as the man struggles to guard against the hits. Crank soon gets to his feet and struts around the ring oozing of confidence and intensity. He goes for a similar move against Bates who has found a knee but he is met with a shove that sends him back into the ropes and as he returns he gets caught by the neck by Bates who lifts him into the air and holds him there as he struggles to get out of the hold. His resistance is futile as Bates completes his One handed Choke toss by shoving him across the ring and into an unbalanced Nostalgia who crashes to the mat together with Eddie.
Nostalgia uses the ropes to help himself up but he is met with a knee to the midsection by Thomas. Thomas looked to continue his momentum by setting up Nostalgia for a piledriver. Nostalgia robed him of the chance at a wonderful move by lifting him over his head and connecting with a flapjack.
Aiello: What a move from Nostalgia
Bennett: That was an impressive reversal
Carter: I have absolutely no idea which way this match would go.
Nostalgia continues the pressure on Bates by immediately putting the man in a cross face. Bates goes through excruciating pain as a rejuvenated Eddie Crank watches on, buying his moment and waiting for the right time to strike. The time arrives as Bates hands look ready to tap, in that instance Crank plows into Nostalgias head with a kick and then rolls Thomas Bates over for a pin.

Kick Out!
Aiello: This is why he is so successful, Eddie Crank is simply the smartest man in the ring every time he is in it
Bennett: I can’t argue with that, he just left Nostalgia soften Bates up and then jumped at the opportunity to win. Granted it didn’t work this time but who’s to say it won’t work the next.
Carter: I agree, this is the second time already in this match he has left one man soften the other up; he came with a clear strategy, it will be interesting to see if it completely pays off.
A kick out but just barely, and Crank can smell the blood in the water. He hoped to focus on Bates and gain the win but Nostalgia had recovered so he had to refocus his effort. Nostalgia charges for him but he sidesteps and catches the man with an inside leg kick which brings him to his knees. Nostalgia’s position is too inviting to Crank so he delivers an uncharacteristic DDT but then locks the head of his opponent and begins to apply pressure.
Aiello: That move is some bit of innovation from Crank
Bennett: Nostalgia looks in all sorts of trouble, it may be over here
As Crank continues to apply pressure, Bate goes unnoticed until he drops a huge leg drop across the chest of the champ. The move serves its purpose, it breaks the hold and leaves Crank in all sorts of pain and Nostalgia breaths a sigh of relief which may be too soon. Bates brings him to his feet and lifts him in the air for a spin buster but he breaks the hold and drives his foot into Bates midsection. Nostalgia then picks Bates up with every vein in his body screaming and CONNECTS WITH THE CATCH PHRASE!
“THIS IS AWESOME”
“THIS IS AWESOME”
“THIS IS AWESOME”
Aiello: Holy Cow! The fat lady just ate 3 big mac burgers and she’s singing to the heavens“THIS IS AWESOME”
“THIS IS AWESOME”
Bennett: Don’t talk about your mom like that Steve
Nostalgia immediately capitalizes on his finisher and goes for the pin.

Kick Out!
Aiello: How on earth?
Bennett: A shot at the biggest title in the business is on the line! These men know what it means.
Nostalgia has his hands on his head, he cannot believe the man just kicked out of his finisher. He picks Bates up and then lifts the man above his head ready to connect with a suplex but in that moment Crank appears out of nowhere and runs for the opposite ropes, he bounces off the ropes and then darts right at Nostalgia hitting him with a drop kick which knocks him off his feet and Bates falls awkwardly on his shoulder.
“HOLY SHIT”
“HOLY SHIT”
“HOLY SHIT”
Aiello: He is cranking up the pressure here“HOLY SHIT”
“HOLY SHIT”
Bennett: Steve please
The hit to Nostalgia is not enough to keep him down as he slowly rises to his feet but unbeknownst to him he is being stalked by Crank and once he finds one knee on the mat, he is met by one to the face, right between the eyes THE FLYING DUBLINER! Crank is left in the center of the ring standing over two giants as the crowd scream at the top of their lungs from the pure ecstasy of the moment. Crank is left with two options and he picks Bates.
Aiello: The fat lady just had 3 big Macs and she is singing folks
Bennett: Don’t talk about your mom like that
Aiello: There is no coming back from this, in fact I’m turning off my mic

Eddie Crank looks absolutely shocked, he helps Bates up and gets caught by the neck for his troubles. The man lifts him up in the air and slams him into the mat with a spinbuster. Bates labors to get back to his feet and by the time he does, Nostalgia is at pace with him; both men begin to exchange right hands till Nostalgia gains the upperhand and drives the man all the way to the ropes. Nostalgia irish whips him to the ropes and then catches him with a powerslam.
Aiello: Effective move right there.
Nostalgia slowly gets to his feet but unbeknownst to him he is being stalked by Eddie Crank who looks absolutely locked in. Nostalgia turns around and is caught with THE DETHRONING! He goes for the pin.

The scene opens backstage as Nostalgia and Thomas Bates are walking back from their match .. both men look tired and disappointed
Victor Price walks up to both men
Victor: Fellas .. let me say you both have nothing to be disappointed about. You both proved to me and everyone on the Brawl roster that the two of you belong in the Main Event. That the two of you can hang with the big boys. Unfortunately, tonight wasn't your night .. but I want to reward the hard-work and effort
Victor pulls out two papers and hands one to each of them
Bates: What's this?
Victor: Those are plane tickets .. you are both going to Night of Champions
Nostalgia: What do you mean?
Victor: I mean .. Nostalgia .. you are going to face off against Crank one more time, and you are going to make damn sure that X-Division Championship stays on Monday Night Brawl .. and Bates, you are going to go up against Andrew Jackson for the International Championship
Both men look surprised
Victor: I'm a man who rewards hard work, effort and success .. you've both done very well .. and earned this .. now go prove that to the rest of the world
Victor taps them both on the shoulder and walks away smiling as we fade
