The view opens to a dark room. A single drip of water is heard the background. The acoustics of the room cause the sound of the water to echo slightly. A soft cough is heard then the voice of Robbie Rayder speaks-
A second drip sounds just after the first.
A third drip sounds just after the first two.
A fourth drip sounds just after the first three.
The drips turn into a steady stream.
The stream builds into multiple streams
The streams turn into a torrential downpour.
The downpour now intensifies.
The intense rush of water fills the background, the sound near deafening, and muting the sound of Robbie's voice.
The sound of the rushing waters stop abruptly… An eerie calm is heard as the face of Robbie slowly comes into view of the camera.
The view falls abruptly to the floor of a shower, and turns sideways, showing Robbie walking away. A quick spark and an arc of electricity is seen as water covers the camera and short circuits it, sending the view to black.
Doubt.
One word.
Five letters.
Thousands of emotions
One word.
Five letters.
Thousands of emotions
A second drip sounds just after the first.
A feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction.
It creeps in.
It burrows in.
It doesn’t go away.
It creeps in.
It burrows in.
It doesn’t go away.
A third drip sounds just after the first two.
How do you fix doubt?
When an arm is broken, you set it.
When a muscle is bruised, you elevated it
When the skin is cut, you stitch it.
When an arm is broken, you set it.
When a muscle is bruised, you elevated it
When the skin is cut, you stitch it.
A fourth drip sounds just after the first three.
But doubt builds and grows with each passing moment.
You can’t drill a hole and let the mind expand.
You can’t take your brain out and replace it.
You can’t do anything but try to trudge through.
You can’t drill a hole and let the mind expand.
You can’t take your brain out and replace it.
You can’t do anything but try to trudge through.
The drips turn into a steady stream.
But then you’re reminded of it every day.
Your opponents.
The media.
Yourself.
Your opponents.
The media.
Yourself.
The stream builds into multiple streams
It never stops.
You try to block it out.
You try to push past it.
You try to fight through it
You try to block it out.
You try to push past it.
You try to fight through it
The streams turn into a torrential downpour.
Then it changes as it snowballs.
It makes itself heavier.
It builds bigger and bigger.
Then it becomes something… Worse.
It makes itself heavier.
It builds bigger and bigger.
Then it becomes something… Worse.
The downpour now intensifies.
Fear.
To be afraid.
To dread
To mistrust yourself.
To be afraid.
To dread
To mistrust yourself.
The intense rush of water fills the background, the sound near deafening, and muting the sound of Robbie's voice.
Then the questions begin again.
How can you fix yourself when everyone doubts you?
How can you fix yourself when you doubt yourself?
How do you remove fear?
How can you fix yourself when everyone doubts you?
How can you fix yourself when you doubt yourself?
How do you remove fear?
The sound of the rushing waters stop abruptly… An eerie calm is heard as the face of Robbie slowly comes into view of the camera.
Let me know when you find the answer…
The view falls abruptly to the floor of a shower, and turns sideways, showing Robbie walking away. A quick spark and an arc of electricity is seen as water covers the camera and short circuits it, sending the view to black.
