The show is live... and the excitement is at a fever pitch!
Signs can be seen all over the arena, some reading:
"BRAWL IS UNDISPUTED"
"VIVA LA VIDA NOCTURNA"
"HAS SABRINA GOTTEN HER PARENTS' PERMISSION TO WRESTLE TONIGHT?"
"X-DIVISION IS ON CLOUD NINE"
and "THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN THE TEDDY LONG APPRECIATION NIGHT, PLAYA"
Aiello: Hello folks, and welcome to Monday Night Brawl! I'm Joe Aiello alongside Steve Bennett and Max Carter, and boy do we have a show for you tonight! After the insanity that occurred at Night of Champions, we have a new Undisputed Champion in Cyrus Black...but he does not get to rest on his laurels, because Dominic Sanders immediately invoked his rematch clause for TONIGHT!
Bennett: Damn right Joe, the State Farm Arena is gonna be on fire here in Hotlanta! Before we get to that main event we've got absolute barnburners in the undercard, as Scorpio collides with Hush in what oughta be one hell of a battle, Kendrick Kross and Xavier Reid square off once more to see who can get some momentum on their respective paths, Gabrielle Visconty looks to prove she deserves a shot at the International Championship by taking on the current Number One Contender in Iggy Swango, and three of the toughest ladies in this company square off in an X-Division Triple Threat that sees recent newcomer Sabrina Agbonlahor take on Rampage's resident Titaness in Samantha Hamilton and the War Queen and X-Division Champion herself, Stephanie Matsuda!
Carter: That's right Steve, and rounding out our in-ring action tonight is the return of Darius and Joe Porter, and what looks to be an exciting opening contest as The Artist, Dylan Starr, and Kali Diyosa of Vida Nocturna face off in a triple threat match!
Aiello: All that, plus more fallout from Night of Champions PLUS a big announcement from our General Manager as we quickly march down the road to the Rumble in Texas! In just a moment we'll be kicking off the exciting action here on Monday Night Br--
We cut to the back and see a limousine rolling up in the parking garage. As it comes to a stop, the driver gets out and walks to the back door. He opens it and out pops Iggy Swango. The crowd roars as they watch this on the MacTron. Following Iggy is her manager Tao Ohashi.... then Jeff Noon, who receives a less-than-welcoming reception from the crowd. Next, Cora Whittaker makes her way out of the limousine and, finally, Dominic Sanders. As Sanders exits the vehicle the crowd erupts in boos. Sanders shuts the door behind him as the five begin walking towards the entrance. Suddenly, the door of the limousine pops open once more and Melody Malone exits the vehicle. She is less than pleased as she shoots lasers through the back of Dominic's head. She hustles to catch up to the group.
Aiello: America's Most Hated is in the building!
Bennett: Ya damn right they are! And they're looking to add some Championship gold tonight!
Bob Murray shuffles up in front of Sanders and the rest of America's Most Hated. Iggy and Tao breeze by him, as does Noon.
Murray: Dominic, a word?
Sanders smirks and shakes his head as he and Cora continue walking behind Iggy, Tao, and Noon. As Murray is left behind in the dust, Melody pushes past him with a hard shove of her shoulder. She glares at Murray as she walks past him and into the building as we fade to the EWCTV advertisement.

THREE'S A CROWD UNLESS IT'S A...
[TRIPLE THREAT MATCH]
The Artist
VS Dylan Starr
VS Kali Diyosa
VS Dylan Starr
VS Kali Diyosa
We return to ringside where the EWC crowd is buzzing, waiting for the first match of the night.
Aiello: We’ve got a star studded night tonight folks, and we’re going to get it started off with a fantastic triple threat tonight!
Bennett: Fresh blood for the Brawl roster keeps the letters red.
Carter: Big question though, which of these three rising stars is going to shine the brightest?
Stroup: The following match is a triple threat match. Joining us first, from Rome Italy, weighing in at 240 pounds ... THE ARTIST!
”In the house, in a heartbeat” by John Murphy begins and The Artist slowly makes his way from backstage and down the ramp. He enters the ring with a pompous smirk before waiting for his opponents.
Stroup: Introducing, from Miami Florida, weighing in at 225 pounds ... DYLAN STARR!
’Break Stuff’ by Limp Bizkit begins to play, and Dylan Starr comes out to the ring, looking all business. He largely ignores the fans reaching out to him before rolling into the ring and loosening up his shoulders.
Stroup: And finally, from Manila Philippines, weighing in at 110 pounds ... KALI DIYOSA!
”Feel this Moment” by Pitbull and Christina Aguilera begins to play and the lights in the arena begin to flash green, pink and blue. Kali steps out onto the stage and runs back and forth, pumping up the crowd. When she reaches the middle again, she holds her arms out to the side, pointing at the audience. She then starts to make her way towards the ring, slapping hands with the fans before climbing the turnbuckle and mentioning to the crowd again. She drops into the ring, and falls to one knee, looking out over the audience with a smile on her face.
Aiello: Oh come on!
DING DING DING
Before the bell had a chance to sound, the Artist took a cheap shot on Kali with an unexpected kick to the midsection. He grabs hold of the smaller Kali and looks for a quick suplex attempt, but Dylan Starr is quick on the draw too and shoots up a superkick that stumbles The Artist back and away from Kali. Dylan grabs hold of the Artist and hits a double underhook suplex, following it up with a bridge that only gets a brief 1 count as the Artist kicks out. Starr pulls The Artist back to his feet, but the Artist breaks free and delivers several blows to Starr’s midsection, backing him into the corner. He backs out, taking a run at Starr and hitting a flying knee into the corner as the crowd begins to rumble. The Artist backs out of the corner, waiting for Starr before the turns around and Kali is on the top turnbuckle waiting. She leaps off, her whole 110 pound frame coming down with a meteora that brings the Artist down to the mat. She hooks the back legs from her mounted position, but Starr comes out of the corner with a springboard elbow from the corner that takes Kali down and all three are on the mat.
Aiello: Pandemonium! Everyone is down!
Bennett: Ballsy move by Starr, the sumbitch got some serious air.
Carter: But who’s going to be able to capitalize?!
Kali rolls off of The Artist, shaking off the elbow from Starr before she gets back to her feet. Starr is back to his and they both stare each other down before Starr takes a run at Kali for a clothesline. Kali ducks, running the opposite way and coming back on a collision course with Starr. She baseball slides between his legs and before Starr can realize what’s happened, The Artist is back to his feet and grabs him before driving him back down to the mat with a sitout side powerbomb. He hooks the leg, but Kali is back in the fray with a shining wizard to the seated Artist. Kali looks from the Artist to Dylan, instinctively dropping a knee down into Starr’s neck to try and keep him down to the mat. She eyes the turnbuckle before climbing up and leaping off with the Golden Sun Splash across the downed Artist! She hooks the leg tightly as the referee slides into position for the final 3 count.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall KALI DIYOSA
Kali rolls off of the Artist and exits the ring, a bit of a grin on her face as she puts some distance between herself and the other two competitors. Starr realizes what’s happened and huffs in frustration before he too looks to exit.
Aiello: Kali with an impressive win, I mean these two both had her by a solid hundred pounds!
Bennett: She’s smart, she ain’t gon win a bare knuckle brawl with these guys.
Carter: You gotta think a showing like that might bump her up a few notches when Connors decides who’s going to represent Brawl at the Rumble in Texas in just three weeks!
Aiello: Speaking of which, I've just been informed that Connors will be making an announcement on that very thing later tonight! Don't go away folks, when we come back we see the return of Darius and Joe Porter here on Monday Night Brawl!
Camera cuts to ...
Melody Malone: Thank you, but I think we’ll be going in another direction.
Malone sighs, another potential assistant being escorted out by the security guard. With her head in her hands, she stares at the resumes in front of her and speaks aloud.
Melody Malone: All I want is an assistant. I just want ONE person, is that too much to ask for?
The door cracks open, and poking her head in is one of Melody’s fellow members of America’s Most Hated, Iggy Swango. Melody looks up, keeping her guard up after the latest rumblings about the -other- members of America’s Most Hated. Iggy enters, pina colada in hand and sunglasses masking her eyes.
Melody Malone: Hey.
Iggy Swango: Another round of no winners huh?
Melody Malone: Yeah…
She shuffles through the papers in front of her, before shoving them off to the side of the desk in a huff. Iggy quirks an eyebrow, wondering what’s got the usually collected Malone on edge.
Melody Malone: I don’t know what I’m gonna do, Iggy.
She finally admits, her voice soft. Swango shrugs her shoulders, hopping up to have a seat on the edge of the desk Melody’s seated at before sliding the drink across the desk.
Iggy Swango: You look like you need it.
She takes the sunglasses off with a wink and Melody holds the glass up with a tip of the umbrella in Iggy’s direction.
Melody Malone: You don’t know the half of it..
She takes a sip of the drink before setting it back down on the desk, ruining a resume in the process.
Iggy Swango: If it’s any consolation.. You’re better off.
She finally speaks on the elephant in the room and you can almost see Melody’s shoulders finally relax.
Melody Malone: While I appreciate it… It still leaves me with a huge problem.
Iggy Swango: Well… maybe I can help?
Melody looks up from the desk and drink, a smirk slowly crawling across her face.
Melody Malone: You know… maybe you can…
Both ladies get to their feet, leaving the resumes scattered on the desk as they head out of the room. Iggy has a match to prepare for, and Melody? Has a phone call to make as we move to a commercial break.
A DOUBLE RETURN!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Darius
VS Joe Porter
VS Joe Porter
We return to ringside where the crowd is getting antsy In anticipation for the next match.
Aiello: This next match should be a hot one from the word go! We got two returning superstars looking to get a win tonight as a nice welcome home present!
Bennett: Yes we do and one of these two sons of bitches according to the words of the other is going to wish he didn't have any business coming back here at all and I have a good feeling about his ability to back up those very words!
Carter: They're both big bad and nasty and I would love to have them as a bodyguard but would hate to meet them in a dark alley!
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall Joining us first, from Biloxi, Mississippi standing 6'10" tall weighing in at 210 pounds ... BANDANA JOOOOE POOOORTER!
The lights go black, and the sound of a Chopper revving up is heard loud throughout the arena as "Bad To The Bone" plays. A white headlight shines from the stage as Joe Porter rides down the ramp to a violently loud chorus of boos showing their hatred for the kind of bully he is. He rides around the ring not giving a damn about them as he parks and steps over the ropes and
cracks the bones in his neck, back, and hands and patiently waits his next opponent.
Stroup: And now, from Albany, New York, weighing in at 245 lbs ...DARIUS!!!
"Let's burn it fucking down!"
As the opening rift plays, Darius sprints out onto the stage and stops at the ramp. The crowds throws boos in his direction as he slowly raises his hands into the air, rocking the devil horns as soon as his arms are fully extended upwards.
He then runs down the ramp, slides under the bottom rope, and jumps up in the center of the ring, looking at the crowd with a wide smirk as they continue to boo. He throws his hands up into devil horns once more, then approaches his corner to wait for the match to begin.
Aiello: This'll be a real brawl that will live up to the name...Monday Night Brawl
DING DING DING
Ding Ding Ding goes the bell and here we go! Darius is the first to come charging out of the gate and for his efforts he is met by what might as well be the equivalent of a human Mack truck as Joe runs him over! GOOD GOD now that's a wake up call! Darius gets up shaking the cobwebs and locks up with him, with Darius finding out the power advantage is in Joe's favor. Darius however throws back the big man, staggering him a second and going on the offensive with a series of strikes to put Joe on defense into the corner as Darius goes into mounting punches and the ref admonishes Darius to get off counting to DQ as he gets off at last
Aiello: Darius seems to be in the mindset to tire out the bigger Joe Porter and get him playing HIS game.
Bennett: Sure as hell that's the plan for the sonuvabitch but and it's working but for how long is he gonna keep it up cause Joe's gonna get wise to him and run him down flat if he goes to the well one too many times!
Carter: I may not agree with you often if at all Bennett but I think you may be right here
Joe, after being put to the defensive shakes it off as Darius charges him ONLY TO GET CAUGHT and hoisted up then slammed down with authority by Joe Porter with a Chokeslam! Darius is flat as Joe drops an elbow to the ribs.
Aiello: Yikes! That elbow has to have taken the air out of Darius' lungs
Bennett: If you can't breathe you can't fight!
Carter: Very true Bennett and right now Darius doesn't look to be in fighting condition
Darius slow to get up crawls up to his feet and locks up with Joe Porter once more and takes him on pushing him back into the corner but Joe getting wise to what's coming punches Darius hard enough to bust him open as blood gets in his eyes distracting his vision for a second!
Aiello: Wow, what a punch by Joe Porter! To get Darius off him, he busts him open.
Bennett: Yeah, and the blood's pouring in his eyes as he wipes them, take notes Carter! This is whatcha call BIG BOY STYLE Wrestling!
Carter: That's gonna be a problem I think if this goes on any longer!
Darius seeing his own blood now is furious like hell as he charges him and begins raining elbows like mad on joe he wants to make Joe bleed just as Joe did to him and I think he's going to get his wish as we see Joe Porter now busted up and bleeding!
Aiello: Wow, Darius seeing his own blood pissed him off and now both are bleeding!
Bennett: This just made the match one helluva battle between both these big sumbitches!
Carter: It's only a matter of time till we get a winner!
Now Joe Porter bleeding as bad as Darius is doubly so pissed off as He waits in the corner to go for the hunters mark Darius charges as Joe steps forward...DIRECT HIT!! DIRECT HIT!! Good God Darius, Like a Human Submarine Torpedo blowing a hole through a ship impales Porter in half with the hunters mark! Here's the Pin as Darius manages to crawl on the body of the big man.
1..
2..
3...!
Ding ding ding goes the bell and mercifully this one is in the books Darius despite three months away shows no kind of ring rust but DOES show that he's just as deadly now and equally as dangerous as he was then!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall...DARIUS!!!
The crowd lets the boo birds sing an ear splitting song in response as their total disgust for Darius' victory grows all while he is down on his knees laughing maniacally and drinking it all in as the boos rain down like a flood.
Aiello: Wow, what a battle between these two tonight!
Bennett: I gotta agree they put on a show like nobody's business both those sumbitches put it all out there in that ring, even blood.
Carter: Well, we can only hope that the rest of next match as well as the rest of the night will be just as exciting as this!
Aiello: We can only hope!
We move to a commercial break.
TAKING IT TO THE XX-TREME!
[X-DIVISION TRIPLE THREAT - NON-TITLE]
Sabrina Agbonlahor
VS Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
VS Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda
VS Samantha "Titaness" Hamilton
VS Stephanie "Cloud" Matsuda
Bennett: Yes, I've taken the lead on this next match.
Aiello: Don't screw it up.
Bennett: Shut your damn mouth, Joe!
Carter: Come on, guys...
Bennett: Or next match promises to be the match of the night... X-Division rules. Madness! Mayhem!! Pain!!! What more could you ask for?!
Stroup: The following match is X-Division rules. Joining us first, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 123 pounds ... SABRINA AGBONLAHOR!!
Ad Astra by Moonlight Haze begins to play as Sabrina makes her way down to the ring.
Stroup: Next out to the ring, from Washington DC, weighing in at 145 pounds ... SAMANTHA 'THE TITANESS' HAMILTON!!
Your Going Down buy the Sick Puppies hits the sound system as Samantha walks out from the back, looks out over the crowd with determination on her face, and heads towards the ring.
Stroup: And finally, from Brooklyn, NY, weighing in at 132 pounds ... Your current X-Division Champion, STEPHANIE 'CLOUD' MATSUDA!!
Rainy Days by Boogie Ft. Eminem begins as Stephanie walks out of the back. She holds her X-Divison title high in her left hand and a Kendo stick in the other. The crowd cheers as she makes her way slowly to the ring, eyeing her opponents.
Aiello: Looks like Stephanie came prepared to make a statement tonight!
Bennett: When doesn't she?
DING DING DING
Both Sam and Sabrina look at each other and then to Stephanie. Stephanie twirls the Kendo stick in her hand and grins, beckoning them to bring it. Sam feints and then running clotheslines Sabrina. Stephanie charges in and cracks Sam in the legs with the Kendo stick. Sabrina rolls out of the way as Sam and Stephanie start trading blows. Sabrina catches Stephanie from behind with a missile drop kick, sending her crashing into Samantha. Sabrina is quick to her feet and going for the Kendo stick in Stephanie's hand. Stephanie kicks Sabrina in the inner leg and rolls away. Sam is up to her feet and sets in on Stephanie before she can get to her feet, kicking the Kendo stick out of her hands and damn near into the first row. Samantha running elbow slams Sam in the back of the head, sending her flipping over the top rope and to the arena floor. Stephanie catches Sabrina enjoying her results on Sam, and pulls her into a Sleeper Suplex.
Aiello: Blasian Suplex!! The War Queen's going for the quick pin while Sam is out of the ring!
Bennett: Smart move by the champion!
Carter: A real heads up move, but Samantha sees it!!
A two count is broken up by Sam grabbing Sabrina's arm and yanking her into the ropes. Stephanie rolls away as Sam continues to pull Sabrina out of the ring. Once outside the ring Sam pounds away on Sabrina with a few well placed shots to the side of the head. Stephanie flips up the ring apron, tosses a table into the ring and pulls out a staple gun before slipping back under the bottom rope.
Bennett: Yeah! Shit just got real!
Carter: Stephanie's not playing around, she's definitely going to try to send a message to the entire X-Divison. Wait... Wait! Is that Hush? It is Hush!
Bennett: What's he doing out here? Uh oh, he's got a chair!
Carter: He's setting it up at the top of the ramp. Is he taking notes?
Bennett: He is... I was hoping he was going to come down and spice this up even more!
Aiello: I am sure Stephanie would like nothing more than to let Hush get a good picture of what he is getting into.
Sam backbreakers Sabrina before slipping back into the ring as Stephanie starts setting up the table. Sam steps in and kicks the table aside and tries to grab Steph but she ducks under Sam's attempt and pops a staple into Sam's stomach! Samantha staggers back and pulls the staple out of her stomach as Stephanie hops forward thrust kicks Sam into the ropes. Sabrina climbs back to her feet, spots the Kendo stick and snatches it off the arena floor. Sabrina slips into the ring quietly as Sam comes off the ropes and tries to shoulder charge Stephanie. Steph and Sam collide and both come to a dead stop. Steph tries to pop another staple into Sam, but Sam steps away just as Sabrina steps in with a overhead swing, cracking Steph across the back of her head. Steph staggers, dropping the staple gun, and drops to a knee. Sabrina wastes no time in following it up with another brutal shot to the head, crumbling Stephanie to the mat. Sam dives in and spears Sabrina to the mat. Samantha rolls to her feet and grabs the table. She sizes up Sabrina getting to her feet and spins around and blasts Sabrina with the table.
Carter: The Titaness with a huge table shot to Sabrina!!
Aiello: Good Lord!
Bennett: I think she just sent Sabrina into La-La Land with that shot.
Sam sets the table down and grabs the staple gun off the mat, grabs a handful of Steph's hair and pops a staple into her forhead. Steph punches Sam in the gut and then follows up with another. Sam tries to pop Stephanie with another staple but Steph kicks the staple gun out of her hand. Steph tries to follow up with a superkick but Sam catches her and pulls Steph into a fall way slam, driving her through the table. The crowd goes nuts! Sam gets to her feet and stomps on Sabrina as she starts to get to her feet, yanks her into a powerbomb and moves to send her into Steph. Sabrina fires away with a couple of quick shots to the head of Sam, stunning her. Sam staggers as Sabrina fires off one more right hand before she swings back and head scissors Sam to the mat. Sabrina to her feet quickly and grabs the staple gun! Sabrina turns to go after Sam and is leveled by Stephanie's springboard forearm smash. Steph yanks the staple gun out of Sabrina's hand and pops one into Sabrina's shoulder, and then bashes her in the head with the staple gun. Sabrina is busted open as Steph drops a knee to Sabrina before turning her attention to Samantha... just in time for Sam to kick her in the face. Steph tries to cover up but Sam drives a knee to her chest and then pulls Steph up and into a vertebreaker!
Carter: REVERSAL OF FATE!!!! That could be it for Steph!
Aiello: Samantha quickly turns the tables on Stephanie with her finisher!
Bennett: What the... She's not going for the pin?
Carter: She's pulling Steph up again!!
Bennett: And Hush is busy scribbling notes. I bet he has seen a flaw in Stephanie's game!
Aiello: Well Sam seems to possibly have found one as well.
Sam yanks Steph back to her feet and scoop slams her powerfully to the mat. Sabrina gets to her feet slowly, blood running down her face. She charges in and catches Sam from behind with a bicycle kick to the back of the head. Sam tumbles over Steph and Sabrina is quickly back up to her feet.
Sabrina dashes to the corner and scales it quickly. She's at the top rope and comes off with a swanton bomb that Sam rolls out of the way, leaving Sabrina to hit nothing. Sam quickly rolls up and pulls Sabrina to her feet, spins her around and locks in and delivers the Atlas Shrugged. She quickly covers Sabrina for the pin as Steph manages to hop onto Sabrina as well!

3! Wait a minute, both women covered Sabrina! The ref calls for the bell before realizing what's going on.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner...
The ref interrupts Stroup, explaining the situation. Stroup gives the ref a confused look before making the final announcement.
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, the ref has ruled that both Stephanie Matsuda AND Samantha Hamilton have pinned Sabrina at the same time, therefore ruling this match a draw in favor of...STEPHANIE MATSUDA AND SAMANTHA HAMILTON!
Carter: Holy cow! We have ourselves a rare draw in this triple threat
Bennett: Man, what a tough performance from all three women...but especially the War Queen and the Titaness.
Aiello: This will no doubt really put a wrinkle in the X-Division going forward. What a battle!
Stephanie grabs her title from the ref and holds it aloft to the crowd. She slowly turns until her gaze rests on Hush sitting up on the top of the ramp. She stares at him until Hush picks up his chair and walks into the back seemingly unfazed.
Aiello: Stephanie sending a death look up at Hush.
Bennett: I hope the silent one took really good notes. His match with the War Queen is just around the corner.
Carter: Obviously Stephanie Vs Hush will be a barn burner. But after tonight do you think Hush gained anything of value?
Bennett: Well I don't think he was out here drawing pictures...
Aiello: Knowing Hush, he most certainly has!
We move to a commercial break.
The camera cuts backstage where we see Xavier Reid standing with his cousin Tlatoani Volando and adviser Nikki Dupree
Tlatoani: You know the wrestling world is watching here tonight Xavier, they have you dead and buried...no thanks to you…
Tlatoani looks over at Nikki Dupree and picks up an invisible chair and acts like he hits Xavier in the head and then closes his eyes and sticks out his tongue as if he’s dead
Nikki: I told you that was a mistake, I was aiming for Annabelle…
Tlatoani pops his eyes open as if he’s brought back to life
Tlatoani: Well your aim sucks and you took out your tag team partner, doing Luke and Annabelle’s for them...I don’t want to be the one that said I told you so but I did have some concerns about you picking…
Tlatoani holds up his hand in a half attempt to block Nikki’s view as he points at her and mouths ‘her’
Tlatoani: I mean at the very least you can say you were holding your own against Luke right up until the point where Nikki ‘brained you’ with that chair but it was just another high profile loss at a pay per view Xavier and now people are wondering what’s next? Where does Xavier go from here?
Tlatoani sits down on the bench and looks at his cousin
Tlatoani: Hush took your spot as the number one contender for the X-Division Championship match against Stephanie Matsuda, Iggy is once again in-lined to challenge Cyrus Black for the International Championship and Aaaarrrrgggghhhh Morgan Darkwater get Ace King and that US Championship there is little for you right now…
Nikki: Other than locking up one of those Rumble spots…
Tlatoani: Which you won’t if you go out there and drop another match to our buddy Kendrick Kross…
Nikki: Listen, Brawl is going to get 10 or so spots in the Rumble and win or lose Xavier is still a top ten star at Brawl, this match...
Reid: Matters...it matters Nikki so please stop trying to give me a worst case scenario. I need this win out there tonight to right the ship, Tlatoani is right...the losses are stacking up at an alarming rate and we only have 5 more Brawl’s after tonight and our GM is going to sit down and decide who’s worth bringing back in 2020…
Tlatoani: $750,000 is a lot to pay a guy that can’t win…
Nikki: You are a former champion Xavier...
Reid: And I haven’t done anything of importance since losing that championship to Curtis Mars and don’t give me the match against Ace King...it was a loss at the end of the day...I pushed him but not hard enough to get the win. I’ve been the poster child of missed opportunities since that night in Japan at StrangleMania...it’s fact!!!
Xavier turns away from Tlatoani and Nikki
Reid: I had such big plans when I joined Brawl to kick this season off and it’s been nothing but a disappointment but it has to change here and now...it has to change tonight against Kendrick Kross here tonight. I can’t afford another loss to him, not now...a loss here tonight and I might as well pack it up for the season because it will be nothing more than meaningless matches until we go on break...there is still time to salvage this year but it has to start tonight...Kendrick took the microphone and called his shot...he’s going to dominate whoever is in that ring against him starting now...starting with me...so we get to see tonight who wants it more...me or him...right out there in that ring...who walks away tonight moving forward and who goes backwards and can forget about getting a championship match for the rest of the year…
Xavier turns back towards them
Reid: He wants that match against Cyrus for the International Championship so badly...he’s obsessed with it...it’s the only thing driving him right now...so the question is will my desire match his...I know he’s coming into this match thinking he can beat me...based on the last time we were in the ring together so let him...let him be confident and I’ll catch him...just like he caught me...tonight is it...either we move forward or we can call it a season…
Tlatoani: All or nothing...I like it…
Nikki: Yeah...until we lose...then what…
Reid: Losing isn’t anything new to me Nikki...but if I lose here tonight then we give up any hope of 2019 being a success...but I promise you both this...I’m not walking into this match a defeated man...I know I can beat Kendrick Kross...I know I’m the better man...I just need to want it more than him…
Xavier turns and walks out of the room as we cut to...
WAR OF THE WORDS!
[SINGLES MATCH]
Iggy Swango
VS Gabrielle Visconty
VS Gabrielle Visconty
Aiello: Here is the match we have been waiting for, Iggy Swango faces off against Gabi Vee in what should be a tie breaker between these two!
Bennett: I know the fans are excited to see it but something tells me Iggy and Gabi are more excited than anyone to take this win.
Carter: I believe so. It’s always thrilling to see two superstars who respect each other go at it in the ring, it’s always something special to witness!
”B.O.B.” by OutKast bangs on the sound system heavily as Gabrielle Visconty darts out from the back, stopping at the top of the ramp.
Stroup: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, from Indianapolis Indiana, Gabrielle Visconty!
Dance Party Plus by Head Automatica hits the arena as the lights dim low before strobing between red and the pitch blackness of the arena. Just as the loud guitar riffs echo throughout the arena the lights starts pulsing red and Iggy Swango emerges from behind the curtain as smog engulfs her. She stands at the top of the stage for a few moments as she nods her head to the rhythm of the music. Joining her on the stage is her trainer Tao Ohashi, who trails slowly behind
Stroup: And her opponent, from San Francisco, California, Iggy Swango!!!
Iggy starts bouncing on the stage and rocking out with an air bass playing along with the music before making her way down the ramp. She throws the devil horns with her hands and sticks out her tongue taunting her fans as Red and Black confetti streamers come raining down from above on her way down to the ring. Iggy rolls under the bottom rope and pops up on her knees in the middle of the ring. She slowly stands her to her feet before raising her hands into the air.
The referee gets both athletes in the center of the ring, he explains the rules to them and once done they shake hands and return to their corners.
Aiello: Nice show of respect from both athletes!
DING DING DING!!!
As the bell echoes throughout the arena they begin to circle each other in the ring, each waiting for the other to bite. Iggy tries to grapple but Gabi Vee quickly skips away from the grapple and tries to plant a roundhouse kick to Iggy’s head but she grabs the foot and Gabi plants an Enziguiri right in her face sending the number one contender for the international championship to the ground. Gabi Vee climbs the turnbuckle, waits for Iggy to find her feet then completes a beautiful moonsault… BUT! Iggy catches her on the shoulder and nails her with a power slam! She goes for the pin but Gabrielle kicks out immediately.
Aiello: What a fight thus far, these two are really going at it!
Bennett: You can tell neither is willing to fall to the other.
Carter: Who do you think wants it more?
Aiello: That’s what this match is here for Max!
Belly to belly suplex from Gabrielle sends Iggy flying across the ring and crashing hard on the mat. Gabi follows up keeping the onslaught coming. She drags Iggy to the center of the ring, climbs the turnbuckle and this time, she connects with the moonsault. She goes for the pin.

Kick Out!
Aiello: That’s that championship level resilience. She’s been a champion here, you need that in fights like this.
Bennett: Yeah but the body can only take so much.
The momentum in the fight switches the other way after a slick headbutt from Iggy which she followed up with the seamless execution of a triple German suplex. She picks Gabi and nails her with a swift snap suplex and then an elbow drop. Visconty is brought back to her feet and she manages to dodge the clothesline coming her way and use Iggy’s momentum against her, nails her with a flap jack. A week Gabi Vee rests on the ropes unbeknownst to her Iggy did not stay down for even a second, Iggy grabs her from behind and nails the backstabber.
Aiello: It’s over! That looks like it hurt like hell

Kick Out!
Aiello: How did she do that?
Bennett: No idea, this is what you call resilience. Neither of them is leaving anything in the ring tonight.
Iggy and Gabi Vee find themselves trading blows in the ring, till Iggy gains the advantage. Her fists continue to crash into Gabi’s face till she forces her against the turnbuckle, there she picks Gabi to the top turnbuckle and follows up after her. A superplex is on the menu but then Gabi shoves her off the ropes and she crashes down to the mat. Without wasting a moment, Iggy Swango is back up running at Gabi Vee but Gabi leaps off the second rope, catches her by the face and nails the Top Rope Diving Double Knee Facebreaker she calls JAWBREAKER! She goes for the pin.

We move to a commercial break.
JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS THROUGH WITH YOU...
[SINGLES MATCH]
Kendrick Kross
VS Xavier Reid
VS Xavier Reid
Aiello: This is an interesting matchup indeed we’ve got coming up. Xavier Reid and Kendrick Kross have quite the storied history but uniquely enough they don’t actually hate each other, not that there best friends but there’s... dare I say it a respect between them?
Bennett: Sure they don’t hate each other in the way that Luke Wolfe and Xavier hate each other but I wouldn’t say they like one another. Anyway is Xavier even one hundred per cent? Did I see online somewhere that they had a funeral for him?
Carter: That was just Xavier Reid using the EWCs budget on some cool special effects. Nothing to worry about, he’s alive and well despite what happened at Night of Champions. And as for Kendrick, well he just needs some momentum and hasn’t that been the battle K-2 has been dealing with for the entire season? A win against Xavier here tonight would certainly put him on the right track.
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall, Joining us first, from Edmonton Alberta Canada, weighing in at 220 pounds ... XAVIER REID!!!
’Papercut' by Linkin Park belts out from the PA system as Xavier Reid makes his way out to the ring with a purpose.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Chelsea, London , weighing in at 215 pounds ... KENDRICK KROSS!!!
'Hit the Floor' by Linkin Park plays as Kendrick Kross makes his way to the ring.
DING DING DING
Kross and Reid lock up, with Kross whipping Reid off of the ropes. Reid comes back at Kross and dodges a clothesline attempt. Reid then attempt a pele kick but Kross just moves in the nick of time and Reid lands on his head. Kross wastes no time as he locks in an STF submission hold on Reid. Reid , despite still hurting from that missed Pele kick, senses he’s in danger and so he manages to roll Kross onto his back and then Reid rolls on top of Kross and starts pummeling into him with his elbow. This only angers Kross as he uses his strength to reverse the situation and pull Reid to the floor so he ends up on top of him, this time it’s Kross who smashes into Reid with his elbows.
Reid pushes Kross off of him as both men scramble to there feet, almost at the same time they lay into each other, trading back and forth punches with brings the fans to there feet. Kross kicks Reid in the gut then spins around and attempts to hit his own version of the pele kick but Reid rolls out of the way and this time Kross misses the kicks as he also lands on his head. Reid gets to his feet and grabbing a hold of Kross arms as he’s on the mat, he hits one of his moves the brutal Fuck You Stomp!.
Aiello: What’s the chances of both Reid and Kross missing the pele kick?
Bennett: Well they know each other so well, they can read each other like a book.
Carter: Right now the only thing Kendrick Kross is reading is Xavier Reid’s boot stomping a hole in his face... seriously maybe the fuck you stomp should be banned, it really is sickening! I wonder if Reid is seeing Luke Wolfes face every time he boots Kross in the head.
Kross’s forehead starts to bleed a little as the ref is forced pull Reid away from him. Reid has a smile on his face as he backs away to the corner while the ref checks that Kross is ok. Kross pushes the ref out of the way as he pulls himself to his feet, which gives Reid the opening to charge at him, Kross is alert though and he catches Reid with a European uppercut. Kross then hooks Reid up and hits the exploder suplex on him.
Kross wipes a hand over his forehead and sees that he’s bleeding, which seems to anger him as he growls at Reid who’s rolled onto his stomach and trying to push himself to his feet. Kross rushes at Reid, picking him up on his shoulders and hittting one of his moves, a variation on the rack bomb that he calls Rack of Ribs. Reid hits the mat hard but luckily for him he manages to roll out of the ring before Kross can make a pin attempt.
Kross immediately follows Reid to the outside, picking him up and running him back first into the ring post. Kross then rolls Reid into the ring and makes his way to the top turnbuckle. Kross signals for his Phoenix splash signature he calls Mountains Rain but as he jumps Reid somehow manages to get his knees up as Kross falls straight into them. Kross rolls around the mat in pain as Reid seems to be also struggling as he lays on his back and breaths heavy.
Aiello: Damn I thought Kross almost had it there! Reid is so smart, even with his back up against the wall he manages to pull something out of the bag to save his skin.
Carter: Both men look hurt here. How can they go on much longer with the amount of punishment there taking?
Both men get to there feet at the same time as Kross runs off of the ropes and back to Reid, but Reid catches him out of nowhere with a X-Ploder-(Rainham Maker) move. Reid throws his arm over Kross for the pin but Kross kicks out at the two and a half count much to the dismay of Reid. Reid takes a moment to regain some energy before picking Kross up, but it’s Kross who catches Reid by surprise this time with a sweet looking roundhouse kick. Kross falls on top of Reid for the pin but Reid kicks out just before the three!
Both men have gave it there all as the crowd give them a standing ovation, and they look exhausted. Kross gets up first and leans against the ropes breathing heavy, until he sees Reid gets to his feet he comes forward but Reid sweeps him off of his feet and then catches him with nasty looking knee strike to the jaw. With Kross stunned on the mat, Reid gets to his feet and backs off to the corner for a moment, before a look of anger seems to take over him. Reid moves in on Kross, grabbing his arms and again stomping into his face with the Fuck You Stomp multiple times. The ref has to pull Reid off of Kross as Kross looks to be out cold, and Reid does back away for a moment but then he pulls the ref away and again starts stomping into Kross’s head with rage. The ref has seen enough and he pulls Reid away from Kross. The ref checks on Kross who is completely gone before calling for the bell as Reid is declared the winner by K.O.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via K.O XAVIER REID!!!
The ref continues to check on Kross as Xavier Reid doesn’t even celebrate, he just coldly makes his way up the ramp towards the back.
Aiello: I always knew Xavier Reid was aggressive but he’s taken it to a new level tonight! He could’ve took Kross’s head off tonight, was he trying to end the man’s career?
Bennett: When you are in the ring you have to do what you can to get the win! That’s all Xavier did. Kross would have done the same thing if he had the opportunity.
Carter: I don’t know, I have to agree with Joe. I think we saw a sinister side to Xavier Reid tonight. Is what happened at Night of Champions playing on his mind? Only time will tell.
Aiello: In the meantime I hope Kendrick is ok! He’s a fighter and he’ll come back stronger I have no doubt. We will be right back with you folks after this break.
We move to a commercial break.
We cut backstage, inside the office of Brawl General Manager Jim Connors, who we see standing by with a big smile on his face.
Connors: Hello everyone, I hope you've been enjoying Monday Night Brawl here in Atlanta, Georgia!
This gets a big pop from the crowd, much to the delight of the GM.
Connors: What an exciting night we've had so far, right? We've seen Kali Diyosa pick up a big win in our opening contest, Darius showing he's back with a vengeance, a surprise draw in our X-Division Triple Threat match as Stephanie Matsuda and Samantha Hamilton continue to find their roads intertwining, Gabi Vee make a statement for herself with a win over Iggy Swango, and Xavier Reid knocking out Kendrick Kross for a huge victory! Now, earlier tonight Reid talked about the Rumble in Texas, and that leads me to my big announcement...we have TEN spots in the Rumble for the stars of Monday Night Brawl, and tonight I'm going to announce just a few!
The crowd is ecstatic for the news!
Connors: Let's start out by announcing what just makes sense shall we? Everyone on Brawl who's won their matches so far tonight is IN the Rumble in Texas! That's right, I'm talking Kali Diyosa, Darius, Stephanie Matsuda, Gabrielle Visconty, and Xavier Reid! You all have a chance to make a name for yourself as you look to win the Rumble and earn your way to a future Undisputed Championship opportunity!
The crowd cheers in approval of the names announced, but it looks like Connors isn't finished!
Connors: And that leads me to a big announcement regarding our main event here tonight. Cyrus Black defends his Undisputed Championship against Dominic Sanders, and I've decided that it only makes sense for one of them to be my number one star...meaning, whoever comes out of tonight empty-handed receives the consolation gift of being Brawl's number one draw in the Rumble! Best of luck to both of you tonight, gentlemen!
The crowd is absolutely beside themselves, heaping praise upon the GM as we cut to...
WILL THE S IN S-FACTOR STAND FOR SILENCE?
[SINGLES MATCH]
Scorpio
VS Jamaal "Hush" Jackson
VS Jamaal "Hush" Jackson
Aiello: Are you ready for some more of the best wrestling you’ll find on any television channel? Good.. because now we’ve got two of the most unique and best wrestlers on the roster. The number one contender to the X-Division championship Hush will take on a man who was so close to becoming the Undisputed champion at night of champions.. one half of the tag team champions.. Scorpio.
Bennett: Came close.. yeh right, came close to being burned to a crisp you mean! These two guys annoy me, one doesn’t talk enough and the other talks to much. It’s frustrating.
Carter: Who cares? The fact is once there in the ring we know we are in for an instant classic tonight! Both of these men have the talent to climb to the very top!
Stroup: The following match is scheduled for one fall, Joining us first, from London, England, weighing in at 205 lbs... 'The S-Factor'... 'The People's Camp' SCORPIO!!!
'Iconic' by Madonna feat. Chance The Rapper plays as Scorpio comes out to the ring.
Stroup: And his opponent.. Ladies and Gentlemen, fighting out of Baltimore, Maryland, weighing in at 192 bounds HHHHHUUUUUSSSSSHHHH!!
'Everything to Gain' by Pappoose plays as Hush makes his way out to the ring.
DING DING DING
Hush and Scorpio give each other a respectful nod to one another before they grapple, with Hush getting Scorpio in a headlock. Scorpio uses his strength to lift Hush up, but Hush spins around and falls straight on top of Scorpio. Hush pounces to his feet and runs off of the ropes as Scorpio gets up. Hush leaps toward Scorpio with a flying cross body but Scorpio seems him coming early and he smashes Hush in mid air with a superkick! Scorpio makes the pin looking to end the match early but Hush somehow gets a shoulder up!
Scorpio holds three fingers up to the ref as he gets to his feet, almost in disbelief that Hush managed to kick out, as he backs away to the corner. Hush starts to stir as Scorpio seems to be stalking him, waiting to pounce with the AGR which he does but Hush manages grab a hold of Scorpio and reverse the AGR attempt, spinning him around, hitting him a with a desperation DDT. Hush pulls himself to his feet and even though the super kick still has him stunned he manages to drag himself up to the top turnbuckle. With Scorpio still on the mat, Hush composed himself then jumps from the top and hits Scorpio with a Swonton bomb. Hush throws an arm over Scorpio and the ref makes the count, but Scorpio manages to get a shoulder up just before the three count.
Aiello: Just as we all expected, a back and forth dozy of a match! These two superstars will put it all on the line for the victory!
Carter: I thought Scorpio had the win with the super kick and then Hush with the swonton bomb! I can’t call this one.
Hush pulls Scorpio to his feet and whips him off of the ropes. Scorpio comes back at him and leaps frogs over Hush. Scorpio grapples Hush from behind but Hush throws an elbow back and catches Scorpio in the jaw. Hush turns around as Scorpio stumbles back. Hush picks Scorpio up and drops him on his knee for a backbreaker! Hush goes inbetween the ropes to the ring apron and then springboards from the top rope with a moonsault right on top of Scorpio. Hush makes a pin but Scorpio at the two count somehow reveres in the pin into a small package pin of his own. Hush just kicks out at two as he backs away to the corner. The crowd are on the edge of there seats.
Scorpio pushes himself up to his feet as Hush comes out of the corner and runs at him. Scorpio grabs a hold of Hush and catches him with a Corkscrew neck breaker! Scorpio picks Hush up, hooks him up for a Snap suplex into standing moonsault.
Aiello: They just won’t stop will they? Move after move, the showcase of talent on offer in the ring right now is astonishing!
Bennett: They are cancelling each other very well I must admit but as soon as Scorpio breaks a nil he’ll submit.
Carter: Oh shut up Steve, Scorpio is one of the toughest superstars we have in the EWC! He fell from three cages through a flaming table and yet here he is weeks later performing for us!
Scorpio pulls Hush up and goes for a tornado DDT but Hush pushes him backwards and he stumbles through the middle ropes and falls to the outside. Hush takes a run and hits a suicide dive into Scorpio through the middle ropes!
Hush pulls Scorpio back into the ring, as he gets back to his feet Hush rushes at him, leaping in the air for his move the Bicycle Knee but as he jumps Scorpio hits Hush with the AGR as he comes back down. Scorpio makes the pin and gets the win.
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall SCORPIO!!!
Scorpio rolls out of the ring and celebrates with Crème de la Crème as the ref checks on Hush.
Aiello: If Scorpio wants to make a charge for the Undisputed title then this is the way to do it! What a victory for the S-Factor.
Bennett: Damn that was a sick AGR in mid-air, have to admit I’m starting to buy into the hype of Scorpio.
Carter: Hush will bounce back from this one, he’s one of the most grounded and down to earth superstars we have around here! This loss won’t faze him, he’s got his eyes on the prize that is the X-Division title.
Aiello: Well folks next up... It’s Dominic Sanders... it’s Cyrus Black... it’s the Undisputed Championship... this will be a match for the ages!! You don’t want to miss it.
We move to a commercial break.
The camera opens to Stephanie “Cloud” Matsuda and manager/wife Monica Vaughan walking backstage towards the parking lot. While the X-Division Champion looks slightly cleaned up from her match, the weariness of battle is still evident on her face, along with a bit of frustration in her eyes.
Vaughan: So that thing with our dear friend...how do you want to play it out?
Matsuda: I’ll deal with it myself. You should’ve never went by yourself.
Vaughan: Babe, I didn’t want you to be distracted by outside influences. You’re an EWC champion and you should only be concerned with EWC matters right now. With the Rumble in Texas coming up and your upcoming match against Hush-
Stephanie raises a finger as the couple reaches their rental car. The camera pulls back revealing a sticky note on the windshield. She grabs it and reads it out loud.
Matsuda: “Nice match. You did your best, but it will not be enough to retain against me.”
Stephanie sighed and crumbled up the sticky note.
Matsuda: Christ, I’ve been getting weird messages from this guy since last week.
Vaughan: What do you think Hush’s angle is?
Matsuda: I think he wants to be satisfied knowing that if he beats me, it’s at my best.
Stephanie throws the paper in a nearby trash can and opens the backseat of the car to toss her gym bag inside.
Vaughan: So you’re not going to deal with the other problem?
Matsuda: I’m going to hit every bird with as few stones as possible and still remain EWC X-Division Champion, even if it kills me.
Monica sighs as she watches her wife get into the driver seat.
Vaughan: Cloud…
She finally opens the door to the passenger seat and climbs inside. As the car pulls out and drives away, the camera turns around, revealing Hush looking on from a distance. The silent one casually puts on his sunglasses and walks away.
NO REST FOR THE NEW CHAMP
[SINGLES MATCH - FOR THE EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP]
Dominic Sanders
VS Cyrus Black (c)
Carter: Welcome back to Monday Night Brawl. It is time for the Main Event!
Aiello: Folks, it's been a long time since we have seen the Undisputed Championship defended on anything other than pay-per-view. In fact, the last time was just over thirteen months ago.
Carter: Monday Night Brawl #513 and - what do you know - it was defended RIGHT HERE in this building in Atlanta, Georgia. Of course, it was the Philips Arena, back then.
Aiello: On July 30th of 2018, Natalie Young came in as the challenger and defeated Luke Wolfe in order to become the new EWC Undisputed Champion. The big question here is: will lightning strike twice in Atlanta?
Carter: Dominic Sanders, the former Undisputed Champion, has cashed in his rematch clause. Although he will not be looking to extract revenge on Ace King tonight, it is the new Undisputed Champion Cyrus Black who is in his cross-hairs.
Aiello: And Cyrus Black has been nothing but dominant ever since his return to the Extreme Wrestling Corporation. That includes a small handful of victories over his challenger, Dominic Sanders.
Bennett: Jesus H. Christ! Will you two quit yapping? Can we get on with the damn show and get to the damn match?!
Aiello: I couldn't have said it better myself. Jessica! You're up!
Stroup: The following contest is scheduled for one fall... and it is for the Extreme Wrestling Corporation UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP!
The lights go out in the State Farm Arena. Purple lights cut on around the entrance ramp as "Drop the World" by Lil' Wayne begins playing.
"I got ice in my veins, blood in my eyes
Hate in my heart, love in my mind"
Dominic Sanders steps out from the back in a dark purple hoodie and black wrestling tights on, finished by white boots. The hood of his sweatshirt drapes over his eyes as he stands at the top of the ramp. Sanders stands at the top of the ramp and soaks in the boos from the crowd.
"So I pick the world up and I'ma drop it on your fucking head!"
Dominic beats his chest with both fists and raises his arms in the air with a roar. The crowd boos even louder as he starts to make his way down to the ring. A cocky grin can be seen under the hood of his sweatshirt as he walks down the ramp.
Stroup: Introducing first... from Aledo, Texas. Weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds... DOMINIIIIC SAAAAANDEEERS!
Sanders rolls underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. He jumps up to his feet and stares out into the unadoring crowd underneath the hood of his sweatshirt. He grins and shakes his head as he moves over to the corner and waits for Cyrus Black.
Aiello: This man has been snarling all week... waiting to get his hands on Cyrus Black.
Carter: He says he's got plenty of demons to slay tonight, the main one being his opponent. As we said before, Cyrus has had his number every time the two have stepped into the ring. Will he be able to break free tonight and re-capture the Undisputed Championship? Or will he add another tally to the loss column thanks to Cyrus Black?
Bennett: You know damn well that Dominic Sanders will do anything to win this match tonight. He said it earlier this week: he will either win or damn-near die trying. And I would bet my bottom dollar that he walks away tonight as a two-time Undisputed Champion!
The whole arena goes dark for a moment, a spotlight hits the entrance ramp and music plays from the PA system.
"Life is a mystery..."
The silhouette of a man moves into the spotlight, arms raised above his head as he starts to clap.
"And it feels like home..."
The lights go up around the State Farm Arena, two red pyrotechnics go off at either side of the stage as the chorus hits...
"When you call my name, it's like a little prayer..."
Cyrus Black starts clapping as he merrily skips from one side of the entrance ramp to the other, looking out at the sea of fans, goading them to clap along with him. Cyrus makes his way down the entrance ramp with the International Championship and the Undisputed Championship both around his waist stacked on top of each other. He engages with fans along the way, dishing out high fives and hugs as he jives his way to the ring.
"I'm down on my knees, I want to take you there..."
Sliding underneath the bottom rope into the ring, Cyrus shuffles from one corner buckle to another, continuously banging the palms of his hands together as the fans are on their feet clapping with him.
"Just like a prayer you know, I'll take you there..."
Cyrus casually leans against the ropes, with a cheesy grin on his face as he stares at Dominic Sanders.
Stroup: And his opponent… from Carson City, Nevada. Weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds... he is the EWC Undisputed and International Champion… CYRUUUUS BLAAAAACK!
Aiello: Cyrus Black is one hell of a competitor, isn't he? I mean, he won the Undisputed Championship at Night of Champions and DAYS LATER was competing on Thunder. And he won. Shortly after that? He went to Rampage and fought to a questionable draw with Lavender. Of course, that's a whole 'nother can-of-worms. Whatever is going on over on Rampage is a mystery to me, but Cyrus Black has only been beaten ONE TIME since his return early this year. He is the real deal, gentlemen.
Carter: There are a lot of people who think he's the favorite going into this match. I would be quick to agree.
Bennett: Agree all you want. We're about to see the darkest side of Dominic Sanders we have ever seen!
DING DING DING
As promised in his promo earlier in the week, Dominic Sanders makes an immediate run at Cyrus Black at the sound of the bell. But Cyrus is ready for it. Cyrus ducks under Sanders’ lariat attempt and Sanders goes crashing into the corner. However, before Cyrus could take advantage, Sanders turns and drives a right fist hard into Cyrus’ stomach. Sanders then reaches up and drives a double-axe handle right into Cyrus’ lower back. Cyrus drops to his knees. Sanders reaches back and goes to drive his knee into the side of Cyrus’ face. Cyrus leans back and Sanders misses. Cyrus grabs ahold of Sanders’ leg and stands up to his feet. Sanders, hopping on one foot, swings at Cyrus and misses due to the distance. Cyrus spins Sanders around and drives a clothesline into the back of Sanders’ head. Sanders drops to the ground, grabbing the back of his head. Cyrus grabs Sanders’ legs, hoping to put him into the Texas Cloverleaf. Sanders flips over to his back and kicks Cyrus in the stomach again. Sanders uses his free leg and sweeps the legs out from underneath Cyrus. Both men are now on the mat. Simultaneously, they both kip up to their feet and face off with the crowd cheering the action on.
Aiello: Tremendous start! Neither one of these men has been able to gain a true advantage.
Bennett: Did you see that kip up?!
Carter: Well, they both did.
Bennett: But Sanders is two hundred and seventy pounds, you idiot. That was impressive!
Sanders reaches out and grabs ahold of Cyrus and shoves him into the corner. He reaches up and smacks Cyrus across the chest with the palm of his hand. The sound echoes throughout the State Farm Arena. He reaches up again and smacks the hell out of Cyrus’ chest again. He grabs ahold of Cyrus’ wrist and Irish-whips him across the ring and into the opposite turnbuckle. Sanders gains a head of steam and sprints at Cyrus, looking to take his head off with a big boot in the corner. Cyrus ducks underneath it and Sanders lands straddling on the top rope. Cyrus grabs the top rope and starts shaking it violently up and down. Sanders, uncomfortably riding the rope, has a look of pain on his face. Cyrus stops shaking the rope and backs up a step. He runs forward and nails Sanders with a clothesline, sending him bouncing off of the ring apron and to the floor. Cyrus plays to the crowd to get pumped up and causes a roar from the 21,000 plus in attendance!
Aiello: The Undisputed Champion is fired up!
Cyrus steps through the ropes and drops to the floor to meet Sanders. Cyrus grabs Sanders by the head and pulls him up to his feet. He grabs ahold of Sanders and drives him back-first into the barricade at ringside.
Carter: The referee is counting, but it’s being done very slowly. He knows that NO ONE here wants to see this one end in a countout!
Cyrus walks up to Sanders to grab him again, but Sanders drives his right knee hard into the groin of Cyrus Black, who drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes.
Aiello: And, apparently, he doesn’t want this one to end in a disqualification, either!
Bennett: Right in the manhood!
Carter: Very ballsy move, no pun intended. That COULD have cost him the match. But, as Joe pointed out, Paul Turner is being VERY lenient here tonight.
Paul Turner exits the ring and starts barking orders at Sanders, who throws his hands up into the air in innocence. As Turner heads back into the ring, Sanders smirks and grabs Cyrus by the hair, yanking him to his feet. He squares Cyrus up and plants a right fist into the jaw of Cyrus Black. Sanders grabs Cyrus and runs and drives him head-first into the ring post!
Aiello: My God! Did you hear that thud?!
Bennett: It’s like music to my ears!
Sanders leans Cyrus up against the ring steps and starts walking in the opposite direction. He lines Cyrus up and sprints at him. Just before Sanders gets there, Cyrus ducks out of the way and Sanders drives a knee hard into the ring steps, flipping over them to the floor on the other side right in front of the announce table. Sanders grabs at his left knee as he rolls around on the floor. Cyrus slowly gets up to his feet as Paul Turner gets to a three count. Cyrus slides under the bottom rope to break the count and then back out to the ringside area. He walks around the steps and grabs Sanders. He pulls Sanders up to his feet and drives a fist into his face. Cyrus grabs Sanders by the wrist and Irish-whips him into the announce table. Sanders’ lower back smacks hard on the metal rim of the table and he drops to his knees in pain. Cyrus runs at Sanders and drives a front-dropkick into Sanders’ face, causing him to smack the back of his head into the rim of the table. Sanders falls flat on his face and we can see a huge gash in the back of his head.
Aiello: Sanders is busted open badly!
Carter: Here comes Paul Turner to check on him.
Turner, now on the outside, puts the rubber gloves on to check on Sanders’ head. Cyrus stands back telling Turner to call the match. Turner pulls his hand up off of Sanders and the baby blue glove has now turned red with Sanders’ blood. He begins talking to Jessica Stroup over at the timekeepers’ table.
Bennett: Don’t you dare do it, you son of a bitch!
Carter: Steve, if he can’t continue, he can’t continue!
As Turner talks to Stroup, Sanders gets up to his knees and grabs Turner by the belt and yanks Turner towards him. Turner turns around and Sanders looks at him right in the face and says some words that we can’t hear, but we assume they are threats regarding Turner possibly stopping the match. Turner shrugs it off and says something to Stroup and then slides back into the ring. As Sanders gets to his feet while clutching the back of his head, Cyrus takes a sprint at Sanders and clotheslines him hard, causing him to land on and flip over the announce table. The three announcers drop their headsets and move out of the way. Cyrus walks around the table to the other side and grabs Sanders. He pulls him up to his feet and hooks him up, looking to deliver a belly-to-belly onto the table. Sanders, however, finds it within himself to block the suplex. He drives a forearm hard into Cyrus’ ear, breaking the hold. Sanders then hooks Cyrus up and drives him onto the table with a urinagi! But the table remains in tact!
Sanders drives a couple of fists into Cyrus’ face and then walks around the table back towards the ring. He climbs up onto the ring apron and climbs through the ropes, still holding the back of his head. Turner says some words to Sanders, who feigns hitting Turner, causing Turner to back up quickly. Sanders then slowly climbs up to the top turnbuckle looking at Cyrus Black. Holding the back of his head, he takes a deep breath and nods. SANDERS LEAPS OFF WITH THE TITLETOWN, BUT CYRUS MOVES! Dominic Sanders goes crashing through the table and lays there motionless. Cyrus lays on the floor, as well. The crowd is going nuts!
HO-LY SHIT!
HO-LY SHIT!
HO-LY SHIT!
HO-LY SHIT!
The three announcers finally get back to their headsets as Paul Turner checks on Dominic Sanders.
Aiello: GOOD GOD! These two are putting it all on the line tonight!
Carter: And, I would say that Dominic Sanders has taken the majority of the punishment!
Bennett: This ain’t good!
Cyrus manages to pull himself to his feet using the ring apron and slides into the ring. Paul Turner and some medical personnel are still checking on Sanders.
Aiello: I don’t really know how Dominic Sanders is going to be able to finish this match. His knee was banged up earlier. His head is split open. And now he’s driven himself nearly twenty feet through our announce table. He is hurt and hurt badly.
Carter: If I am Paul Turner, it’s almost a liability at this point to allow the match to continue.
Bennett: BUT LOOK AT THAT TOUGH SON OF A BITCH!
As Bennett says this, Dominic Sanders starts shoving medical personnel away and slowly stumbles up to his feet. Cyrus looks at him not with disbelief, but with a smirk on his face. Sanders stumbles over to the ring apron and leans on it, looking into the ring right at Cyrus Black. Cyrus motions for Sanders to come into the ring. Sanders returns the motion, but with a double middle finger gesture, instead. Sanders slowly slides into the ring and Cyrus pounces, driving boots right into the back of Sanders’ head. He lifts Sanders up and into a rear waistlock. Cyrus lifts the big man up and drives him down with a German suplex. He keeps it locked in and rolls over. Cyrus brings Sanders back to his feet. He drives Sanders down with a second German suplex. Every time this happens, blood smears onto the canvas. Cyrus lifts Sanders up for a third German, but Sanders drives himself forward and they crash into Paul Turner. Turner stumbles away facing the crowd. Sanders reaches back and drives his calf hard into Cyrus’ crotch again!
Aiello: ANOTHER low blow by Dominic Sanders!
Carter: This is desperation, right here. Dominic Sanders, no matter what any of us think about him, usually plays fair. But we’ve seen him dig down deep tonight.
Bennett: He literally will do ANYTHING to win back the Undisputed Championship!
Cyrus is down on the mat and Turner turns back around. Sanders is on his knees catching his breath and hovers slightly over Cyrus Black. He reaches down and grabs Cyrus by the hair. He pulls himself to his feet and pulls Cyrus up. He ducks down and puts Cyrus up on his shoulders. RIPTIDE! SANDERS HITS THE RIPTIDE! Sanders slowly crawls over to Cyrus and drapes an arm across Cyrus’ chest.

TH-KICKOUT! CYRUS BLACK KICKS OUT!
Aiello: Cyrus Black just kicked out of the Riptide! I don’t know that we’ve seen ANYONE do that!
Bennett: You’ve got to be kidding me!
The crowd is on their feet as both men lay on the mat.
CY-RUS!
CY-RUS!
CY-RUS!
CY-RUS!
Sanders is the first one up to his feet. He goes to lift Cyrus up, but Cyrus manages to turn it into a small package!

Sanders kicks out! Sanders springs up to his feet. He bounces off of the ropes. Cyrus is up. Sanders goes for a Clothesline From Hell! Cyrus ducks and sprints through. He comes back. Sanders hasn’t turned around yet! THE BLACKOUT!
Aiello: CYRUS BLACK HITS THE BLACKOUT! THIS ONE IS OVER! COVER HIM!
Cyrus turns the big man over and hooks the leg!

THRE-KICKOUT!!!!
Carter: I don’t believe it! HOW IN THE HELL?!
Bennett: He ain’t dead yet!
There is a hush over the crowd as they can’t believe Sanders kicked out. Cyrus cannot believe it, either!
Cyrus smacks the mat in frustration. He scoots over to the corner and puts his hands on top of his head. He looks over at Sanders, who lifts his head and… SMIRKS! Sanders reaches out and eggs Cyrus Black on! Cyrus pulls himself to his feet using the ropes and curses under his breath as he approaches Sanders. Cyrus stomps on the back of Sanders’ head over and over a few times before Paul Turner begins warning Cyrus to stop. Cyrus reaches down and grabs Sanders. He pulls Sanders to his feet and lifts him up, Cyrus gets behind Sanders and lifts him up into an electric chair. He goes for the La Isla Bonita, but Sanders wraps his legs hard around the throat of Cyrus Black into a submission hold! Cyrus drops to a knee and the hold breaks. Sanders sprints to the ropes and bounces back. CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! The clothesline turns Cyrus inside-out! He covers!

KICKOUT!
Aiello: WHAT A MATCH!
Carter: I agree! It’s September, but this might be the Match of the Year!
Sanders gets off of Cyrus and grabs Cyrus’ legs. He calls for it and hooks Cyrus up in the Texas Bluebonnet right in the center of the ring!
Aiello: This might be it! The Texas Bluebonnet! Sanders has it locked in and locked in well!
Bennett: Tap out you kilt-wearing son of a bitch!
Cyrus is in a great deal of pain. He reaches for the ropes, but he is still several feet away. Cyrus shakes his head, refusing to quit. Sanders wrenches back on the hold, trying to make Cyrus tap. He leans back with all of his two hundred and seventy pounds, putting a great deal of torque on Cyrus’ back. Cyrus is grabbing at the mat and clawing towards the ropes, but he isn’t making much progress.
Aiello: There really isn’t much that Cyrus can do!
Carter: This crowd is ALL Cyrus Black right now!
CY-RUS!
CY-RUS!
CY-RUS!
CY-RUS!
Cyrus begins to feed off of the energy from the crowd. He shoves his palms into the mat. In what could be a last-ditch effort, he pushes himself up off of the mat trying to break the hold. Sanders still has it locked in. Cyrus reaches back and grabs Sanders’ left shin and pulls hard. Sanders loses his balance and falls forward and the hold breaks partially!
Carter: Cyrus Black breaks free!
Bennett: NO DAMN WAY! He’s still got it!
The crowd erupts, but Sanders still has ahold of Cyrus’ legs. He stands back up to his feet and tries to lock the Texas Bluebonnet in again. Cyrus flips over onto his back and pulls a leg free. He kicks Sanders in the rear, shoving him hard enough to break the hold completely. Sanders turns around and heads back towards Cyrus. Cyrus kicks Sanders again, this time in the gut. Sanders is doubled over. Cyrus pops up to his feet and gingerly runs towards the ropes. He springboards off and turns around, drilling Sanders into the mat with the Lucky Star! He grabs ahold of his lower back as he slowly flips Sanders over into a cover.

TH-KICKOUT!
Aiello: And Sanders kicks out! This match continues!
Carter: These two do not have much more in them! What do they have to do to win this match?!
Cyrus slowly gets to his feet, clutching at the small of his back. He stumbles around the ring and the crowd is going nuts. He turns towards Sanders and reaches down to re-tie his boot. He sizes Sanders up. Sanders gets up slowly to his knees. Cyrus sprints at Sanders. THE BLACKOUT!
Aiello: CYRUS HITS THE BLACKOUT AGAIN!
Carter: There’s no way Sanders kicks out a second time!
Cyrus rolls Sanders over and covers him.

DING DING DING
Stroup: The winner of this match… and STILL EWC Undisputed Champion! CYRUUUUUS BLAAAACK!
The crowd erupts in cheers as Cyrus’ music hits and he sits there in the middle of the ring on his knees. Sanders appears to be out cold as Paul Turner comes over and hands Cyrus the Undisputed Championship.
Aiello: My God! What a match! Cyrus Black does it again! He beats Dominic Sanders ONCE MORE and, this time, it mattered the most!
Carter: I am literally on the edge of my seat! I cannot believe what we just saw!
Aiello: Folks, what a hell of a night! That was an incredible way to end it here in Atlanta! For Max Carter and Steve Bennett, I am Joe Aiello! Goodnight!
The camera focuses on Cyrus Black staring at his Undisputed Championship, marveling in the fact he's managed to retain it...but suddenly a look of dread washes over his face as he searches around ringside.
Aiello: Wait a minute, something's wrong here...
Bennett: Yeah, where the hell is Black's other belt?
The camera feed jumps to a crowd of fans moving to the top of the stands.
Aiello: What is going on back there?
Carter: Can we get a camera on it?
The camera feed suddenly cuts to the stands. We see the Gabrielle Visconty walking among the crowd, high-fiving and schmoozing with the fans, with the International title strapped around her waist.
Aiello: Well this is an interesting moment. We have Gabi Vee, with Cyrus Black's International title, walking among the fans.
Bennett: Hooolieeeee shit, she just committed daylight robbery!
Carter: I am sure this won't sit well with Cyrus at all.
Aiello: Just what is Gabi Vee up to?
Carter: With Gabrielle Visconty, you just never know.
The image fades on the Gabi winking at the camera and pointing at the International title with a huge grin on her face as the show comes to a close.
