Static fills the screen briefly before the logo for FSW GAMBIT fills the screen. After about five seconds, the camera cuts to Tim Watson standing in what is obviously a TV Production studio, a green screen behind him shows the FSW logo.
Watson: Ladies and gentlemen, from high above the Cow Palace in beautiful Daly City, California WELCOME! To FSW Gambit! We have a great show for you tonight with only one match, but it's one hell of a match! The longest reigning FSW champion of all time, Stitches the clown, is going to show that he will take on all comers tonight as he takes on the up and coming Ben Superior and two new additions to the FSW roster, The Father and Winthrop Bradley Esquire, in an X-Division rules match up! I cannot possibly do this match any more favors by hyping it up, so let's get right to the action!
The camera quickly cuts to ringside where The Father, Ben Superior, and W.B.E are already in the ring with Referee Matt Mercer. Isabella Starr is standing on the apron.
Starr: The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and will be contested under X-Division rules! Three of the four competitors are already in the ring, and their opponent... From the Carnival of Shattered Dreams... SSSSSSSTTTTTTTIIIITTTCHHHESSS!!!
"One Missed Call (2008) Theme" plays as the lights go dark. Smoke starts to billow out of the curtain on the stage as Stitches makes his way down to the ring.
DING DING DING
Watson: I think W.B.E is out cold here folks, that was a brutal crash into that steel chair.
With the bell sounded, The Father and Esquire both look to each other, then begin to attack Ben Superior and Stitches. Winnie has a steel chair in hand as it cracks Ben right over the head, while The Father has a kendo stick and slams it into the midsection of the Carnival clown. One, two, three shots from both men onto their opponents before Ben rolls away and Stitches is able to grab the kendo stick and rip it out of The Fathers hands. Ben comes up behind Winnie and takes him down with a spear from behind that sends his opponent down, the chair still in his hand, forcing his skull into the cold hard steel. Ben tries to cover, but only gets a one count before Stitches pivots and breaks the kendo stick over the back of Superior, thus breaking up the count. Winnie remains motionless on the ground.
Watson: I think W.B.E is out cold here folks, that was a brutal crash into that steel chair.
Stitches then turns to The Father who is cautious as he stalks Stitches as they are the only two people left standing right now. Stitches tosses the remaining kendo stick to the side as he lunges in, showing he wants a lock up, but quickly pivots and lands a forward kick just below the waist, appearing to land in the groin area of The Father, sending him flailing to the ground. Stitches lets a wicked smile cross his face as he walks over to the downed Esquire and grabs his lifeless body, tosses it over the downed Father so that they are laying on top of each other and then Stitches looks to the crowd, then back to the two bodies below him. He picks them both up and locks in a double Cheshire Smile (Camel Clutch)! The crowd goes wild
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
The father quickly realizes that there is no escaping this hold and yells his submission a split second before Ben Superior leaps at the Carnival Clown in a break up attempt.
DING DING DINGMatt Mercer raises Stitches hand in victory as we cut back to the FSW control tower with Tim Watson.
Watson: Wow, Stitches looked ANGRY out there tonight! The Carnival Clown has definitely not let his recent X-Division title match with Ace King slow him down at all. Folks, Later tonight at FSW 99 we have an incredible night of matches planned for you. You do NOT want to miss this. North American Champ versus US champ. Killjoy Versus CARLOS RUIZ... yes you heard that right, CARLOS RUIZ in and FSW ring... and then we have a first time ever match up between Indy champion Jordan Freakin' Sharpe and FSW champion Candy which promises to be one for the ages. So stick around for Future Stars of Wrestling. Until then though, I am Tim Watson. Thank you for tuning in!
