Brawl presents: GAMBIT
From the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee
The show opens inside a studio setup, with lead Brawl commentary Joe Aiello greeting us.
Aiello: Hello and welcome to GAMBIT! I'm Joe Aiello, and tonight's edition of the house show spectacular is coming to you from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, where we saw some big returns facing off against some of our up and coming talent! In just a moment we'll show some highlights of the evening, including the likes of William Manson and David Scott, but first we're going to take a look back at the Rumble in South Africa!
A video package plays showing highlights from the Rumble in South Africa: a successful defense of the International Championship by Xavier Reid against a very game Bosa, a brutal Indy Championship match between Dominic Sanders and Jordan Sharpe that ended in JFS retaining, a Candy Castle match that saw Candy retain her FSW Championship against Stitches, a NEW United States Champion after Nezumi Hazama defeated Samantha Hamilton, a shocker of an X-Division Championship match that saw Killjoy Ito win the title from Ace King, a stunning Undisputed Championship match that saw Xavier Reid overcome the challenge of Scorpio to retain the title, and the EWC Rumble main event that saw Stitches overcome thirty-nine other competitors to punch his ticket to WrestleFest XVIII! The video ends with a reminder that fans can watch the replay on PPV and EWCTV today, before we fade to an ad for the EWCTV service...

William Manson
VS Yaya Banana
The first match of GAMBIT sees Yaya Banana taking on the returning William Manson!
DING DING DING
Manson looks to make a big statement in his return to the red brand, not having any of Yaya Banana's fun-loving nature with some heavy offense at the jump! Manson takes Banana to the outside with a clothesline, continuing the assault with some more hard lefts and rights before sending Yaya right into the steel steps with a sickening thud! The ref begins the count as Manson continues, a twisted smirk on his face as he continues to inflict damage on the already-weakened Banana.
Banana finally manages to start turning things around, the smile coming back to his face as he dodges a clothesline attempt by Manson as the ref gets to the count of 5...but Manson starts showing off his technical mastery now, hitting a back suplex that sends Yaya right onto the mat outside! With the ref now at 7, Manson rolls into the ring...only to roll right back out to reset the count as he picks Banana back up for some more damaging blows. He finally brings Yaya back into the ring, taunting him to get back up...and as Banana gets slowly back to his feet, he's met with a Fall From Grace by Manson! All it takes after that is the Shattered Dreams curb stomp and William Manson picks up a big win to prove he's ready to compete on BRAWL once more!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... William Manson!William Manson proves he's ready for BRAWL once again, but is BRAWL ready for William Manson?
We cut backstage, where we we find the BRAWL General Manager standing by with someone unfamiliar with us.
Connors: Hello everyone, hope you're enjoying the action so far at GAMBIT! I have a small announcement to make before we continue, because I feel a need to address what happened at the Rumble in South Africa.
We cut to footage from the match between the GMs at the Rumble, which saw Connors take a bit of a beating before Chris Brock got the win over Marshall Evans. With that we cut back to a visibly upset Connors.
Connors: As you can see I dealt with a lot of crap at the Rumble, and at my age I have to be very careful with my health and how I run things going forward...and if Grizzly Duggan can have an assistant, so can I! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Assistant General Manager of BRAWL...Timothy Kahrs!
Tim smiles, the look of a man who has seen a fair share of shenanigans in his time.
Connors: Tim, your reputation precedes you and your resume is immaculate. Glad to have you on the team, buddy! Alright then, folks, let's get back to the action here on GAMBIT and we'll see you at BRAWL!
Connors and Kahrs give a smile and a wave as we cut back to the action at ringside.
"Blessed" Justin Paird
VS Windsor Middleton IV
Coming off a big tag match at FNR #475, Justin Paird looks to make his return to BRAWL...but first, he takes on Windsor Middleton IV in this contest from GAMBIT!
DING DING DING
This match was pure chaos at the start, as Windsor manages to get the early advantage on Paird with some hard lefts and rights! Paird manages to fight back with a flurry of offense, but the action soon spills out of the ring as they continue to brawl. Things get out of hand really quick as the fight heads into the crowd at the Bridgestone Arena, all the while the ref has begun his count...and it becomes more and more clear things aren't getting any better. As the ref reaches the count of 5, Windsor and Paird are still slugging it out in the crowd who are cheering on the Blessed One to turn things around. Sadly, this never comes to fruition as both men only start to get back toward the ring when the ref is at 9...and Windsor is just inches from getting to the ring when the ref hits the 10 count, calling for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, this contest has been ruled a Double Count Out!The crowd is beside themselves, booing a disappointing ending to what could've been a thrilling match!
We cut away from the in-ring action for another video package, this one hyping up the main event of Youngblood II:

David Scott
VS El Gran Azul
David Scott makes a big return tonight, taking on the Great Bluchador on his way back to the red brand!
DING DING DING
David Scott is clearly all business at the opening bell, pummeling the Bluchador with some hard lefts and rights that sends Azul to the corner. Scott keeps up on the offensive, practically stomping a hole into the midsection before Azul drops to the canvas...but Scott is far from finished as he picks up the big man, only to drop him back down with a nasty scoop slam! Azul slowly gets back to his feet, taking a wide right hand at Scott...who dodges it easily before rocking the Bluchador with a haymaker that sends Azul reeling to the ropes, and a stiff headbutt on the rebound!
Azul is clearly looking worse for wear here, dropping once more to the canvas as Scott looks to hit the Spike Piledriver...but Azul appears to be dead weight here, making that much more difficult. Azul is starting to stir once again, but that only gives Scott enough momentum to connect with the Spike Piledriver on the second try, picking up the win and making a statement to the rest of the BRAWL roster in the process!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... DAVID SCOTT!David Scott has beaten the Bluchador tonight, putting a stamp of authority on his return to the red brand!
And with that, we cut back to the studio where Joe Aiello is standing by.
Aiello: And there you have it, folks! William Manson and David Scott proving their worth as they come back to the red brand, and we're left to wonder the state of Justin Paird! We'll be seeing you later tonight for Monday Night BRAWL #561, but until then I'm Joe Aiello saying so long!
Aiello gives a wave as this edition of GAMBIT comes to a close.
