StrangleMania is to EWC as the World Cup is to FIFA, Super Bowl is to the NFL, the World Series is to MLB, the Stanley Cup Finals is to the NHL, and the NBA Finals is to the NBA in the sense that it is the most important event of the year in sports entertainment. It is truly "The Grandaddy of Them All" or "The Showcase of the Immortals". The show often displays the biggest over the top / hardcore matches possible in a blood bath of both amazing talent and sheer violence. It was for this reason StrangleMania was banned for 4 years before making it's triumphant return in 2005.

WrestleFest is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event, produced annually in December/January by the Extreme Wrestling Corporation (EWC) The event was first produced in 1998, since then, EIGHTEEN editions of WrestleFest have been produced thus far, with WrestleFest 19 (XIX) to be held in 2021. The products of the EWC's television shows are tailored to reach their climax at WrestleFest, which sees contests for the company's championship titles, specialty and gimmick matches. Participation in a WrestleFest match, and especially the main event, is considered by many wrestlers and fans alike as one of the greatest achievements and symbols of professional success. While most WrestleFests have been held in sports arenas in major cities, a number of them have been held in large stadiums. The format of WrestleFest is built upon the main event matches for the EWC Undisputed Championship. A select number of other championship titles are also contested, while there are several gimmick matches, submission matches, ultimate submission matches and personal feud matches on the card. As was the case in 2019 with WrestleFest XVII, and in 2020 with WrestleFest XVIII, WrestleFest XIX will take place over a 4 day period and will be a true Wrestle-FEST. The events will begin on Friday and end on Monday at center stage. There will be multiple wrestling rings, live bands, Superstar autograph booths, Food Truck wars and more during the 4 day event. There will also be scheduled matches on each of the 4 days.
