"START A FIGHT" by GHØSTKID blasts in the Arena
The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #586 in Green Bay.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, Ruthann Hunter, Ashton Drake and then Xplode all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, from Xplode defeating Shadow Man to unify the belts to footage of the men and women of BRAWL who have held the illustrious title including Ashton Drake, Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and Xavier Reid, before ending on the current champion Melody Malone.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, King Flip, Candy, Tyler Bradford, KU, Antoni Malietoa, Stitches, Rebel Rhodes, Darius, Iggy Swango, Dio, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Alex "Bullet" Carbajal with the FX Broadcast Championship
King Flip with the EWC International Championship
Xavier Reid with his partner Jamie Love (aka The Bastards), with the EWC Tag Team Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

Aiello: Hello everyone and welcome to Monday Night BRAWL, coming to you live from the OACA Olympic Indoor Hall in beautiful Athens, Greece! I'm Joe Aiello alongside Hall of Famer, Steve Bennett! Things are really heating up this summer, and just one week removed from a thrilling Parabellum we have quite a bit on our plate as we kick off BRAWLympics!
Bennett: I'll be honest Joe, I'm still scratchin' my head about this concept, but we do have one HELL of a lineup ahead of us!
Aiello: That's right Steve, in our main event we see two members of Team Brawl make their official tag team debut, as Dio and King Flip team up to take on The HunterS, weeks after Jason Hunter won the HBO Broadcast Championship on Rampage!
Bennett: Holy hell Joe, a champ on each side of the ring! And with this being an X-Division tag bout, things could get ugly REAL quick!
Aiello: You mentioned a champ on each side Steve, and that's one way to look at a big Iron Man Match coming up later as Sally Talfourd takes on Xavier Reid, in a battle between the newly-crowned Tag Team Champion and the CW Broadcast Champion that is guaranteed to go thirty minutes!
Bennett: It'll be a test of endurance for sure, and we will see who can secure enough falls in a half hour to come out of this the winner!
Aiello: Rounding out our Interbrand Insanity tonight is a triple threat X-Division match that sees the OTHER half of the Tag Team Champions, Jamie Love, taking on Zack Tyler and Caleb Scott, two men who have had some pointed remarks toward each other recently!
Bennett: Jamie showed some real tenacity at Parabellum as he and Xavier beat the Southern Express, finally breaking the lengthy reign and becoming champ in the process...but now he's gotta face two fast-rising stars of the red brand!
Aiello: In other action we have JoJo Rush looking to seize an opportunity as he takes on Gabrielle Visconty, S.T. look to overcome a very game Eleos Affect in tag team action, and in our first bout of the night we see Chelsea Skye take on the returning Iggy Swango!
Bennett: Both ladies are looking to turn things around after some tough losses, but which one will strike a more lasting chord?
Aiello: Folks, we'll be kicking things off shortly! Don't go away!

The X-Tron flickers into life, as a series of multicoloured paint splatters impact the centre of the big screen, followed soon after by an old-fashioned film reel that spirals into shot to create the following title card:
After lingering for a moment, the image disappears, the screen now transitioning to replay footage from the finale of Brawl #586’s X-Division Championship main event between El Pablo and Dio:
Dio is writhing, clawing, screaming, trying to pull the board of nails from his back without causing too much additional damage. It's an awkward ask, and El Pablo has plenty of time to set up the nearby table and start gathering up scattered bags of Skittles, checking them over somewhat carefully - he wouldn't want to find any more M&Ms - before opening several and shaking them out over the surface of the table. His name fills the rafters as the EWC show their appreciation and anticipation both, and El Pablo is grinning as he looks out over them, holding up a finger to say, 'but wait!' He fumbles into his tights, and produces a rainbow-painted Zippo lighter.
Theatrically, the Technicolor Tecnico sparks a flame, and waves it above the table. The Skittles just lie there, unresponsive. Dio has divested himself of his benailed burden, blood pouring from the wounds in his back as he climbs gingerly to his feet, face drained and sweaty after this latest ordeal. He stares across the table at El Pablo, as if staring at a man who has entirely lost his mind. El Pablo just grins all the wider, and brings the flame down...
WHOOSH! The entire table goes up in flames as the candied pebbles go up like they were soaked in gasoline! El Pablo laughs maniacally, as Dio's eyes take their turn in bulging from their sockets. It starts as shock, and then becomes a hungry sadism as he lunges around the flaming obstacle, and seizes the champion in a grapple. They vye for supremacy, El Pablo trying to escape a wristlock with a tumble that about sends both men against the burning menace of the table, then reaching a stalemate that Dio breaks by driving a ridgehand down into the previously-dislocated shoulder. El Pablo winces, and it's enough for the Philosoper to seize control, driving him into the corner, driving in the occasional sharp forearm to keep the champion in place as he manhandles him into a headlock atop the turnbuckle...
And there Dio stands at the top of it all, his chest rising and falling, looking out over the ruins of the ring, over the burning monument to violence that El Pablo has erected. The champion where he wants him; the title, to come...
Dio braces to leap, prepared to deliver Deconstruction - to El Pablo, to his much-vaunted title reign. To end it all.
To crown a new king.
The two men fly, but there's a struggle right before they do so; El Pablo reverses the grip, the crowd burbling on confusion and then exploding into a near-religious cacophony as the luchador delivers an insane, violently-perfect Spanish Fly from the top rope, down through the table! CRRRRRUUUUUUNCH! It explodes beneath the weight of the Philosopher, flames spiralling out of control around the lithe musculature of his form, charring the skin and setting his shattered soul aflame as he lies amidst the rubble, unmoving. El Pablo doesn't escape harm completely, but he rolls clear of the heat, falling against the ropes with a look of pure disbelief; he survived!

THE BRAWLYMPICS HIGH JUMP!
SINGLES MATCH
Chelsea Skye
VS Iggy Swango
SINGLES MATCH
Chelsea Skye
VS Iggy Swango
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: What a statement made by the EWC X-Division Champion, and you know Dio's gonna have something to say about that...but right now, it's Chelsea Skye taking on Iggy Swango in our opening contest!
Steve starts to respond, but is interrupted as the guitar strums of "Moonage Daydream" echo through the arena as the lights dim low. Strobe lights begin to flash on stage. Soon, Iggy Swango walks from behind the curtain as smog engulfs her. She pauses, adjusts her sun glasses, before making her way down the ramp. It's a slow deliberate walk, as she is clearly vibing to the music. After entering the ring, She looks up to the ceiling, and throws her hands up in a classic rock and roll pose
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, standing at five feet eight inches tall and weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds, from San Francisco, California ... IGGY SWANGO!
Iggy starts bouncing on the stage and rocking out with an air bass playing along with the music before making her way down the ramp. Iggy rolls under the bottom rope and pops up on her knees in the middle of the ring. She slowly stands her to her feet before raising her hands into the air once more.
Stroup: And her opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 123 pounds, she is The Nightmare Angel... CHELSEA SKYE!
"Reborn Through Failure" hits the speakers and Chelsea comes out, ready for her match, she goes down to the ring slapping hands with the fans before rolling into the ring.
DING DING DING
Chelsea runs at Iggy hitting a flying clothesline. Chelsea drops Iggy with a dropkick as she gets to her feet. Chelsea grabs Iggy for a suplex but Iggy reverses it hitting a suplex of her own. As Chelsea gets to her feet, Iggy grabs her hitting a snap DDT. Iggy makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Chelsea gets a shoulder up to break the count. Iggy pulls her to her feet and whips Chelsea off the ropes. Chelsea ducks a clothesline and runs off the opposite ropes hitting Iggy with a Spear. She hooks the leg for a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Iggy rolls to her side breaking the count. Both get to their feet. Chelsea runs at Iggy who stops her with a European uppercut. Chelsea staggers before Iggy clotheslines her over the top rope to the floor.
Aiello: Good fall, shame on the landing.
Bennett: Iggy Swango getting some early practice in for next month's Rumble with that clothesline
Chelsea rolls into the ring but Iggy grabs her and hits a Jumping Piledriver. She makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Chelsea just manages to push Iggy off her to break the count. Iggy lifts Chelsea to her feet but she counters with a backdrop. Iggy gets to her feet but Chelsea grabs her finally hitting a suplex. Chelsea rolls to the ring apron and springs into the ring hitting Iggy with an Angel's Reckoning. She makes the cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Iggy just gets a shoulder off the mat.
Aiello: Damn, I thought that was a three!
Bennett: From almost out of it to almost winning. That is a hell of a turnaround.
Chelsea climbs the turnbuckles. One last look at Iggy laying in the ring and she leaps for a Skye Is Falling. At the last second, Iggy rolls out the way and Chelsea crashes to the mat. She staggers to her feet as Iggy grabs her hitting Noise Pollution. She rolls over as she hooks a leg.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall IGGY SWANGO!
'Dreams' plays as Iggy gets to her feet. 'Thunder always happens when it's raining' Iggy motions with her fingers 'raining' down on Chelsea as she lays on the mat.
Aiello: A big, big win here for Iggy Swango. She had the smarts to avoid the Skye Is Falling and took advantage of that for the win.
Bennett: That she did. But I have to feel for Chelsea Skye here. She pushed Iggy Swango. She had a few moments were I thought she was going to beat Iggy Swango and I believe that had she jumped a second earlier and hit her finish, she would have beaten Iggy Swango here tonight on Brawl.
Aiello: Great point Steve, as Chelsea looks to figure out how to bounce back from this we are gearing up for our next match, as S.T. takes on the Eleos Affect! Don't go away, folks!
We move to a commercial break.
THE BRAWLYMPICS TAG TEAM RELAY!
TAG TEAM MATCH
S.T.
VS Eleos Affect
TAG TEAM MATCH
S.T.
VS Eleos Affect
We return to ringside where Joe Aiello and Steve Bennett are standing by!
Aiello: Welcome back folks, we are gearing up for the first tag team bout of the evening as S.T. take on the Eleos Affect!
Bennett: Antoni and KU are still looking to get their pound of...hair...from the now-former Tag Team Champions, but with Southern Express nowhere around here the pair will look to take some frustrations out on Jackie Layton and Saoirse Maguire!
Stroup: The following tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Joining us first, the team of Saoirse Maguire and Jackie Layton, the Psycho and the Bandit ... S.T.!!
"Pledge Your Allegiance" by Suicidal Tendencies starts up. 12 seconds in, the "S! T!" chants start. Aoife "Banshee" Maguire takes this as her cue to walk through the curtain. A second later, the team known as S.T., Jackie "Bandit Layton and "Psycho" Saoirse Maguire, walk through the curtain as well. The three women make their way to the ring where Banshee steps through the ropes first, the others following her in. She takes the center of the ring and points to the two corners facing the camera. Bandit takes the left corner, Psycho takes the right and all three raise a fist in the air.
Stroup: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 484 pounds… the team of KU and Antoni Malietoa, the Black Tree of Sapporo and The Samoan Warrior ... THE ELEOS AFFECT!
“Warrior” by Atreyu begins to blare through out the OACA Olympic Indoor Hall, as Antoni Malietoa walks out first, head down as he gets prepared for the battle about to commence. KU walks out next and stops next to his partner, his arms folded over his chest. Small streaks of pyro go off as Antoni raises his head and lets out a battle cry to get himself and the crowd pumped! The pair then begin the walk down the aisle as the music continues. Once they make it to ringside, Antoni grabs the top rope and pulls himself to the apron as KU methodically takes the stairs. Antoni steps over the top rope as KU enters through the middle and top ropes. The pair stand side by side as Antoni lets out another battle cry, knowing that war is about to commence.
DING DING DING
We start things off with KU and Bandit, the latter looking to catch the Black Tree of Sapporo by surprise with a flurry of offense...but KU quickly manages to turn things around with some hard strikes, before taking her down with a dropkick! KU stays on the attack with some hard kicks to wear Bandit down even further, as we notice Antoni looking for a tag...and eventually, KU obliges! Antoni hops in, eager to get some licks in on the Bandit...who responds with a drop toe hold that sends Antoni face first into the turnbuckle!
Bandit could turn things around here as she hits the ropes for some momentum, and Antoni gets back to his feet...only to take a running neck breaker from Layton! The complexion of this match just changed a good deal as Bandit gets the tag to Psycho, who looks to take advantage of the situation as she lays some hard kicks on the Warrior as he tries to get back to his feet...but not before taking a knife edge chop by Maguire!
Aiello: Wow, what a chop by the Psycho!
Bennett: Antoni's chest is screaming right now, I'm sure of it!
The chop stings a bit against the chest of Antoni, who starts fighting back with some stomps to turn things back in his favor. He's eventually able to get the upper hand on Psycho with some clubbing blows to the back before sending her to the ropes and looks for a clothesline on the rebound...but Psycho ducks under! She launches herself off the ropes now, hitting a cross body splash on the Warrior instead, and goes for the cover!
ONE!
T--NO!
Antoni kicks out with authority, quickly rising to his feet as Psycho follows suit...but gets caught with an Evenflow DDT! MALOSI! Maguire felt the full brunt of Antoni's strength there, much to the concern of Bandit holding the tag rope and looking to tag in!
Aiello: Jackie Layton wants in on this, but can Saoirse get there?
Bennett: Psycho's in a world of hurt right now!
Maguire is struggling here, trying to crawl toward the corner...until Antoni grabs her by the ankle, dragging her toward his corner instead as he tags in KU! KU lays in some hard kicks to the midsection of Psycho, trying to wear her down before pulling her by the hair...and right into a lariat! SACRED NIGHTMARE! KU, perhaps taking a cue from the bonding with Antoni, decides to go for the cover as the ref makes the count!
ONE!
TWO!
TH--NO!
Psycho manages to kick out, just in the nick of time! This frustrates KU just a little as he brings Psycho to her feet...but Maguire fights back with some lefts and rights! She rocks the Black Tree of Sapporo with a haymaker that sends him reeling toward the ropes, and it's just the opening she needs to leap over to her corner, making the tag to Bandit...but KU wisely rolls over to his corner, tagging in Antoni in response! Bandit doesn't quite catch that, gunning for KU with the handspring elbow to him in the corner! BUST OUT! NO! Antoni rocks Bandit with a Samoan headbutt, which is a very bad sign as he lifts her up with an Iron Claw slam! THE BENCHMARK! Bandit is down and out, and KU intercepts Psycho from breaking things up as Antoni goes for the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... THE ELEOS AFFECT!
The ref raises the arm of Antoni and KU in victory as Bandit slides into the ring to check on Psycho, before we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a match this turned out to be, folks! Bandit and Psycho giving it their all tonight, but coming up just short against the Eleos Affect.
Bennett: And you know the Southern Express are watching this right now, hoping to get some revenge in the near future surely!
Aiello: S.T. are gonna want to find away to bounce back from this, but up next we have triple threat X-Division action! Jamie Love takes on Zack Tyler and Caleb Scott, don't go away folks!
Suddenly we find ourselves cutting away from ringside to backstage ...
...where we immediately find ourselves inside the office of BRAWL General Manager Jim Connors, whose phone call is interrupted by a knock at the door.
Connors: Come in!
The door opens, revealing JoJo Rush...who looks a little perplexed.
Rush: Heya boss, ah understand ya wanted ta see me?
Connors nods with a smile.
Connors: Indeed! You've shown some tremendous effort really quickly here on BRAWL, and I wanna talk to you about your future opportunities. Let's talk about...
Jim stops, suddenly realizing he needs the privacy as he turns to the camera.
Connors: Hey, my man, this is an A and B conversation, so please C your way out my office.
Feeling rather embarrassed for trying to do his job, the man behind the camera simply makes his exit, closing the door behind him as we go to commercial!
3 THE HARD WAY: THE BRAWLYMPICS TRIPLE JUMP!
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
Zack Tyler
VS Caleb Scott
VS Jamie Love
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
Zack Tyler
VS Caleb Scott
VS Jamie Love
We return to ringside where Joe and Steve are standing by on commentary!
Aiello: Welcome back folks, we are in for some violence now as Zack Tyler, Caleb Scott, and the new EWC Tag Team Champion Jamie Love square off in X-Division triple threat action!
Bennett: Jamie made a statement at Parabellum when he and Xavier Reid won the titles, but Jamie is eager to get a bit extreme here tonight!
Stroup: The following match is (put the match type in here) Joining us first, from the alley out back, weighing in at 175 pounds ... ZACK TYLER!
The lights go dark as an image of Zack in seen backstage. By now on the entrance stage, fog machines are covering the platform. He stares into the camera with a deep soul stare before the camera fades. Just before the camera cuts off, a quick glimpse of a Red circle with a Red Left hand palm print is seen. Zack's [3:14] music then plays. At the [:17] mark, a Red flash of light illuminates the entrance stage and again at the [:20] mark. At the [:27] mark, Zack rolls out slowly on a skateboard dressed in a Black full length coat with his arms folded over his chest. As he approaches the ring, the skateboard rolls under the ring as he rolls under the bottom rope onto his stomach. The ringside camera catches an up-close image of Zack as he smiles and blood protrudes from his mouth down his chin. Slithering into the corner, he grabs the ropes and pulls himself up to his feet, removing his coat. His music by now has looped or replayed until he folds his hands together as if praying. His eyes roll in the back of his head and the lights come up to normal.
Stroup: Introducing next, from St. Cloud, Minnesota, weighing in at 205 pounds ... CALEB SCOTT!
Lights go black as Ze Nigmar plays. Lights stay off as the song intro plays. Once the drums in the song start, a single beam of light from above the ring shoots to the stage as Caleb Scott rises from the floor through a ring of white smoke. Caleb stands there for a few seconds looking at the crowd. Caleb begins to slowly walk to the ring as a short row of fire ignites on either side of the entrance ramp. As Caleb goes up the steps and into the ring, the single beam of light follows him the entire time. He walks towards the corner and stands on the middle rope. He stares out into the crowd for a few seconds before taking a deep breath, extending his arms out to the side, and unleashing a loud scream before the lights come back on.
Stroup: And finally, currently residing in Takayama, Japan, weighing in at 120 pounds, he is one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions ... JAMIE LOOOOOOVE!
Notorious By Adalitas Way hits the PA system and Jamie walks out from behi5the curtain with a smirk on his face. Next to him is his girlfriend Sara who is carrying the bloody kendo stick she used to assault Ruthann Hunter and a glare in her eyes as she looks out at the crowd. Behind him on either side are Tommy and Maria Love, Maria giving him last minute advice and his father insulting the fans in the front row as Jamie climbs into the ring.
DING DING DING
We see Zack and Caleb immediately go after the Love Child, presumably a sign of brand loyalty as they double-team him with some lefts and rights before sending him to the ropes...but Jamie ducks the double clothesline attempt, launching himself off the ropes on the rebound with a cross body splash on both men! Jamie goes to work on Tyler now, slamming some clubbing blows to the back of the head until Caleb cuts him off, sending the Love Child right back to the corner with an Irish whip before rolling out of the ring, looking underneath the apron for something...and pulling out a baseball back with a chain wrapped around it!
Caleb has decided to up the ante on this X-Division bout early as he slides back into the ring, taking a swing at Jamie...who narrowly escapes disaster, as the bat collides with the top turnbuckle instead! Jamie backs away from Scott, but is met with a neckbreaker from behind by Zack! Tyler with the cover now!
ONE!
NO!
Caleb breaks this pinfall attempt the best way he knows how...by swinging the chained bat against the back of Zack Tyler!
Aiello: Oh man, that looks painful Steve!
Bennett: You can say that again, Zack looks like he's already had a good deal taken out of him!
Zack rolls out of the ring, favoring his back after that bat attack as Caleb turns his attention to the new Tag Team Champion...who forces Caleb to drop the bat with a dropkick that sends him into the corner. Not looking to face the same damage as Zack did, Jamie struggles with the chain on the bat before finally managing to unravel it, now wrapping it around his arm as he charges at Caleb with a chained lariat! Caleb goes down hard as Jamie slams a metallic-like fist against his skull...until Zack makes his way back into the ring, distracting the champ as Jamie gets back to his feet.
Jamie looks for another chained lariat but Zack dodges it, rocking Jamie with a hard kick instead! Jamie is reeling from that as he drops to a knee, and Zack sees his opportunity...but cannot seize it as Caleb grabs him from behind, turning him around as he lifts Tyler up for a suplex...quickly turning it into a powerbomb on the way down! BLACK NIGHT!
Aiello: Wow, Zack Tyler just went down like a sack of potatoes!
Bennett: He and Caleb had their share of barbs at each other going into this match, and it looks like the trash talk may have just blown up in Zack's face!
Caleb doesn't get a chance to follow up on this however, as Jamie catches him with another chained clothesline, this time sending Caleb out of the ring over the top rope! Zack slowly gets to a knee, but doesn't get much further as Jamie turns his attention to him...before quickly locking in the katahajime, with the chained arm causing extra pain! Zack has no choice here, tapping out so he doesn't pass out to the Love Attachment as the ref calls for the bell!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via submission, the EWC Tag Team Champion... JAMIE LOOOOOVE!
Jamie begins celebrating in the ring. While he is celebrating, Zack finally comes to as he rolls of the ring and begins digging under the ring.
Aiello: Well an impressive victory tonight for Jamie but it seems Zack has something else on his mind. What is he searching for under the ring?
Bennett: It looks like Zack isn’t quite done with this match yet.
He pulls out a steel chair and slides it into the ring then rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring. Jamie notices Zack with the chair and at this point, Caleb has made his way back in the ring and is on his feet as well. The 3 men in the ring stare at each other. After a few seconds, Zack takes the chair and delivers a powerful chairshot to the head of Caleb Scott.
Aiello: Oh my god! Zack Tyler just caved Caleb’s head in with that chairshot!
Bennett: That one could be heard for miles. What a hard shot, those chairs don’t have much give to them. Why the hell is Zack attacking Caleb so brutally?
Jamie rolls out of the ring as Zack is clearly targeting Caleb. Zack then stands over Caleb, turns the chair upside down and delivers two shots to Caleb’s ribs with the edge of the chair. Zack then walks over and demands a mic.
Zack: Caleb! You stupid jackass! You stole something from me and you think I forgot? You stole a championship opportunity for me and just like tonight, you couldn’t get the job done. So what I did tonight was something I would’ve done back then and that’s get the job done and now the…job…is…done!
Aiello: Well that explains it, Zack clearly not happy with how things have gone with Caleb in the past.
Bennett: Caleb is a tough son of a bitch but I don’t know if he’ll be the same after that attack. I’m excited to see how he responds.
Zack throws the chair down beside Caleb as he looks down at him and begins to laugh. He then turns and leaves the ring, returning backstage as Caleb continues to lay motionless in the ring as we move to a commercial break.
We come back from commercial and find ourselves back in the office of Jim Connors, when the door suddenly swings wide open...revealing Maria Love! The mother of the new Tag Team Champion is absolutely irate, and cuts Connors off before shouting at the General Manager.
Maria Love: Listen up, Jimbo! I get you're trying to get your precious ratings, but you'll not be having it at the cost of my son's well-being! After tonight, that's it...no more X-Division matches!
Before Jim can respond, Maria storms out of the office as we suddenly go back to ringside for the next match!
THE BRAWLYMPICS DISCUS THROW!
SINGLES MATCH
JoJo Rush
VS Gabrielle Visconty
SINGLES MATCH
JoJo Rush
VS Gabrielle Visconty
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: Welcome back. Up next we have JoJo Rush facing off against Gabrielle Visconty in our continuation of the Brawlympics.
Bennett: Both of these two wrestlers are in need of a win. Both had good showings at Parabellum, but neither of them secured a win. JoJo lost out at the Championship Scramble and Gabrielle wasn’t able to help Team Brawl win the Brand Warfare. So yeah, both of these two need a win tonight.
Aiello: We are about to find out which of these two want it more.
Stroup: The following match is a singles match. Joining us first, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 245 pounds ... THE COWBOY - JOJO RUUUUUSH!!
JoJo enters the stage at the start of his music. He takes in the sight of the stadium before getting down to his knees with his head lowered and fists against one another in front of his chest. At the chorus, JoJo looks up to the ceiling and extends his arms out wide while shower curtain pyro rains down from above. He hops back up to his feet and goes to approach the ring.
Aiello: JoJo looking motivated and ready to go!
Bennett: But he is facing Gabi Vee. As much as I can't stand to hear her talk, she can be a handful when she is in the ring.
Aiello: I think that is probably the nicest thing you’ve ever said about her.
Bennett: Shut up.
Stroup: And his opponent, from Honolulu, Hawaii, weighing in at 120 pounds ... THE GREMLIN - GABRIELLE VISCOOOONTY!!!
The lights in the arena dim and slowly pulse to the opening chords of "By Myself" by Linkin Park. Gabi Vee walks out to the entrance ramp and grins out at the crowd as she stops at the top of the ramp. Buddy Love walks out behind her and smiles. Gabi smirks as she looks over the crowd before heading down the ramp and towards the ring with Buddy at her heels. Buddy stops her before she hops up on the side of the ring, and they have a brief conversation before they both smile and nod. Gabi hops up on the side of the ring, smirking out to the crowd before she springboards herself gracefully into the ring and heads to her corner.
Bennett: Buddy sharing some words of wisdom with his client.
Aiello: Buddy has kind of come into his own this year, managing Ito to the Undisputed Championship.
Bennett: Who’d ever thought Gabi would go back to the Love’s?
DING DING DING
The two wrestlers immediately begin circling each other, feeling each other out and looking for an opening. JoJo makes the first move as he lunges in with an attempt to tie up. Gabi slips to the side and shoves him into the ropes and JoJo springboards off with a crossbody block that Gabi rolls under. She comes up and hits the ropes, dashing in for a baseball slide kick that JoJo jumps over. As Gabi pops back up JoJo catches her with a clean drop kick. Gabi stumbles and goes down but she pops back up quickly as JoJo is dashing in, catching him with a back elbow smash that stops him in his tracks. Gabi quickly spins and drops him to the mat with a discus elbow smash to the jaw. Buddy slaps the mat and cheers.
Bennett: Buddy seems happy Gabi worked the discus into this match after all.
Aiello: JoJo, on the other hand, is probably very confused by the whole thing...and hurting.
Gabi reaches down and pulls JoJo back to his feet, and he nearly tears her head off with a massive European uppercut. Gabi flops on the mat hard as JoJo rubs his jaw before stepping in and pulling her back to her feet. An exploder suplex from JoJo puts her back down on the mat and he hooks the leg. The Ref is there for the count.
1…
2 - Kickout from Gabi.
JoJo doesn’t seem too phased as he quickly gets back to his feet. Gabi uses the ropes to help her back to her feet and JoJo dashes in with SALOON DOOR - a tiger-feint kick!
Aiello: Wow, look at that impact!
Bennett: Rush may have just turned things around here!
Gabi looks out of it as JoJo smells the blood in the water. He steps back and watches Gabi closely as she struggles to stand. Right as she is about to get to her feet, JoJo jumps onto the ropes and springboards off with ELI’S UPPERCUT - a springboard European Uppercut! But at the last second Gabi jumps up and pulls him into a codebreaker! Gabi rolls up to her feet and stomps on JoJo’s head a few times for good measure before she runs up the corner and lines up, then comes off with a shooting star kneedrop! Gabi rolls up JoJo as the Ref slides in for the count.
1…
KICKOUT! Gabi rolls away and slaps the mat in frustration before she gets to her feet. JoJo slowly gets to his feet as Gabi charges in with a running knee strike. She pulls JoJo out away from the ropes and tries for a Liontamer but JoJo kicks her off before she can lock it in.
JoJo rolls away and gets back to his feet as Gabi does the same. Gabi charges in as JoJo looks a little unstable on his feet, only to run right into JoJo as he goes for a spinebuster, only for Gabi to counter it into a sitout facebuster! She rolls up quickly, climbing the corner quickly. As JoJo gets to his feet he is met with an ANGELRANA! She hooks the legs as the Ref slides in for the count.
1…
2…
3!!! The kick out from JoJo was a moment too late!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... GABRIELLE VISCONTY!!
The Ref pulls Gabi’s arm into the air as Buddy slips into the ring to raise Gabi’s other arm. JoJo gets to a knee and then stands up in front of Gabi and offers his hand. Gabi smiles and shakes his hand before he slips out of the ring.
Aiello: What a great match as well as good show of sportsmanship from them both. JoJo really pulled it out but in the end, Gabi was just a little too quick for him.
Bennett: If JoJo showed anything here tonight, he showed that he can hang with one of Brawl’s best.
Aiello: Agreed! Folks, up next we have a thirty-minute Iron Man Match between Xavier Reid and Sally Talfourd, but I'm told we have King Flip standing by backstage!
Camera cuts to ...
Fans explode as the cameras pan to the locker room of the International champion. The camera holds on the closed door of his locker room for a moment. Bob Murray comes into frame with his door-knocking hand clenched and ready. He's about to rap the door when it flies open and slams against the wall as out comes the King himself. With his title around his waist and his tights prepped for the tag team battle ahead, he gives the announcer a mixed look of frustration and solace. Bob raises his microphone and is about to speak, but nay. The King holds up a single pointer finger to Bob's lips to stop him. Instead, the champ slowly clasps his free hand around the microphone and raises his finger from the lips of the backstage guy to the top of his head. He slowly turns Bob's head and Murray has no choice but to sadly turn around. Flip gives him a few 'atta-boy' pats on the shoulder and gently pushes him out of view of the camera much to the enjoyment of the fanbase. They cheer and laugh as their King smiles at the camera.
King Flip: Well boy, oh boy, it feels good to be right here... in Athens, Greece!
Another massive pop from the audience in attendance.
King Flip: But I'd be lying to you if I said that I felt good to be in the main event tonight. Not because we're in Athens, no. A King could never besmirch a birthplace of a God. I don't feel good walking into the main event against The HunterS... because they hurt my feelings.
A small chorus of boos start to come from the fans in the arena.
King Flip: Y'see, it's been over a year since the passing of one Jaden 'X' Hunter and it still gives me the big sad that I've gotta say I never wrestled one of the greatest performers this company has ever seen, but that's not why my feelings are hurt.
"EEEEEEEX-PLODE... EEEEEEEX-PLODE... EEEEEEEX-PLODE..."
The King nods with a somber attitude as he hears the growing chant.
King Flip: It's also been nearly a year since I've squared up against 'Double X' and he treats me like I'm some sort of manipulative puppetmaster, but still! That's not what hurt my feelings.
It appears that Flip is showing actual, genuine emotion here. His eyes seem to be welling up a little bit.
King Flip: Ruthann Hunter... a woman with whom I have always shown the utmost amount of respect toward. A woman with whom I have always revered as Extreme Wrestling's 'Undertaker' backstage, giving all the young bucks a kind word of advice and gentle pushes in the right direction. For you to look that Goddamn camera in the viewfinder and say that I am some pompous motherfucker, some out-for-my-own-needs jackass after you watched me take Ol' Jacky Sev in and make a run in the tag division last year without as much as a hiccup in the ring together. For you to speak with the clearest of sincerity and say that the only reason I've been on your ass for a one-on-one encounter is because I just want a way to say that I beat a Hunter? THAT... hurt my feelings. One may think that this was just some preamble to get inside the King's noggin but you and I both know the truth. You say what you mean and mean what you say. Well, Miss Hunter, with all due respect...
Flip leans in, the welling having peaked in his eyes that are now fueled with anger.
King Flip: Fuck. You.
The audience gives a mixed reaction to the complete lack of respect shown by the International champion.
King Flip: I am NOTHING if I am not, have not always been, and will always in every facet of the words be, TWO THINGS: a motherfucking PROFESSIONAL as much as I am a Goddamn WRESTLER. You wanna talk about getting over on a Hunter? Six years ago, that son of bitch shook my fucking hand in the back and said that he had a thing or two to say -- TO SAY -- to Metal Black on Monday night BRAWL one night. He LOOKED. ME. IN. THE. EYE. AND FUCKING LIED TO ME. Only to wait for me to leave the room so he could put laced boots down on the bitch from Brooklyn without me having a reason to go one way or the other. Those were HIS actions... NOT mine. And when he shook my fucking hand, might I add, he said that he looked forward to doing business with me in the ring. Those were HIS words... NOT mine. So you wanna talk about somebody who was only out for the self-interest of themselves? Takes one to know one, bitch, because THAT is EXACTLY what you married into.
Fans are having a particularly hard time getting behind what the King is saying, the mixed reaction becoming more and more negative as he goes on.
King Flip: You and your son want to call Dio my LAP DOG? My fucking LAP DOG!? I don't know who the hell you even think you are anymore, HunterS, but if Jun Yao, Gabrielle Visconty, Adrianna Aquilla -- JUST TO NAME A FUCKING FEW -- aren't treated like anything more than your own personal lap dogs to pet and be made to feel better about themselves when you see fit than I don't know what else you could possibly call them. You aren't just wrong, Ruthann Hunter, you're a Goddamn hypocrite in every form of the word. What Dio and I have going isn't an enemies closer situation. He and I waged war at the beginning of the year and, sure, he was the better man that night, but after the bell rang we walked away from that match with nothing but respect for one another. Nothing more, nothing less. It was at Stranglemania that I first approached the man about forming a little tag team. Now, one could say that I didn't have the best tact in my approach. One could even say that when they laughed me out of the locker room that I walked away looking a little bit silly. But what one shouldn't have ever said was that the friendship that has been forging backstage was being done on any other basis than mutual Goddamn respect. So again I repeat HunterS... you're not just wrong, you're stupid.
Bob Murray walks back into frame with his hands up as if he's about to stop the King from going on any further.
King Flip: Come an inch closer and you'll get an Xavier Reid treatment like you've never felt in your miserable little life, son.
Aaaaaaand Bob's gone, slowly tip-toeing back out of frame after a mere point of the finger from the International champion. The King's attention goes right back to the camera.
King Flip: Tonight, HunterS... we're not just going to let the blood flow. We're not just going to burn the building down to it's timbers. You started this, Ruthann...
Chanel walks out of the locker room wielding the flaming barbed-wire bat known as Lady Estelle and the fans finally get behind the International champion once again as he gets mere inches away from the camera.
King Flip: ...and I'm gonna fucking end it.
He takes a step back and snags the baseball bat from his valet. He takes a couple slow and playful swings toward the cameraman who shakily stumbles backward and fumbles to the ground. The scene finally fades with a shot from below the King as he stands over the camera throwing his head back in an angry, evil laughter as we move to a commercial break.
INTERBRAND INSANITY: THE BRAWLYMPICS MARATHON!
30 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH
Sally Talfourd
VS Xavier Reid
30 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH
Sally Talfourd
VS Xavier Reid
We return to ringside where Joe Aiello and Steve “The Predator” Bennett are looking out over the capacity crowd. They both turn back to the camera.
Aiello: Up next we got CW Broadcast Champion Sally Talfourd going up against Brawl's own Xavier Reid.
Bennett: Sally might be the CW Champ, but I think she made a mistake coming over to Brawl. Xavier has really started to show some momentum late in the middle of this season - a stark contrast to his down right horrible start of the season.
Aiello: Yeah… it wasn’t a good start for him. A lot of people have questioned if that new contract had gone to his head.
Bennett: Hell, it had too. Nothing else would explain why a wrestler of Xavier’s caliber would slip off the pace so bad. Sally is no slouch, and I would expect her to absolutely bring it tonight. Nothing would be a bigger feather in her cap than knocking off someone with Xavier’s title history, and to carry that back to Paramount would carry some weight.
Aiello: Jessica is in the ring and looks ready to announce the start. It’s time to see which one of these two Superstars are going to walk out of this torturous 30 minute Iron Man match with a win tagged to it.
Stroup: The following match is a 30 minute Iron Man Match! Joining us first, weighing in at a sublime one-hundred and forty pounds, she is the CW Broadcast Champion ... ’THE LAST MAGICIAN’ SALLY TALFOOOOURD!!!
The lights turn blue and red. 'TroubleMaker' hits the speakers. The song bursts to life, out races Sally to the front of the stage. Raising her hands to the crowd, she kicks her leg and heads towards the ring, slapping hands with the crowd. Sally stands at the base of the steps to the ring, waving to the crowd, then dashes up the steps, hoists herself over the top and strides to the center of the ring.
Stroup: And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love, from New York, weighing in at 220 pounds, he is one half of the EWC Tag Team Champions ... XAVIER REIIIIIID!
The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out. Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his new black trunk, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape and from behind him ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks out. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy walks out from behind him and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’. Tommy points to the ring and Xavier walks towards the ring shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the ring, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy pulls out some money and tries to bribe the official who walks away as Tommy laughs. Xavier jumps down and squats down in the corner waiting for the bell.
DING DING DING
Jessica slips out of the ring as Sally and Xavier close in on each other. As they go to lock up, Xavier open hand slaps Sally right in the mouth. She looks a little stunned and that is all Xavier was looking for. Xavier kicks her in the inner thigh and Sally’s leg buckles. Xavier dashes to the ropes and comes off with a running elbow smash that Sally ducks under at the last possible second. Xavier continues on and Sally dashes to the opposite side ropes. Both wrestlers bounce off and come running in on each other. Sally goes for a leg lariat as Xavier goes for a crossbody block - both wrestlers collide in midair! Xavier looks to have gotten the short end of the stick as Sally is to her feet a little quicker than he is, and she steps in and sends Xavier back to the canvas with a arm wrench short-arm clothesline! She rolls Xavier up!
1 - Kickout!
Xavier catches Sally as she tries to slip away, pulling her into a Triangle Choke, Xavier’s version of a gogoplata! Sally tries to reach for the ropes as Xavier roars as he leverages the hold. Right as Sally gets ready to grab the ropes her hand is smacked away by the Love Stick! The Ref yells at Tommy as Xavier starts raining elbows down onto the top of Sally’s head! She’s busted open and blood starts to trickle down her bluing face. Sally has little choice and taps!
Xavier Reid by submission at 7:50 into the match. Xavier Reid 1, Sally Talfourd 0.
Bennett: I hate to admit it, but that was a smart move by Sally. No sense in passing out or absorbing more damage when there is still plenty of time left on the clock!
Aiello: Agreed on that point Steve, but it looks like Reid isn't ready to let go just yet!
Bennett: Prolonging the damage he's doing, ALSO a smart play!
Xavier reluctantly releases the hold as Sally flops back on her butt as she tries to catch her breath. Xavier kips back up to his feet and the Ref gives Sally a 15 second break to catch her breath. Tommy is screaming BULLSHIT!!! from the ring apron as the Ref counts to 15. Xavier dashes in as the Ref gives the start signal and goes for a running knee lift, but Sally counters with a step up enziguri! She pops back to her feet just a bit before Xavier and nails him with a Japanese armdrag. She jumps into the ropes and comes off with a perfectly executed High Hopes - a springboard moonsault!! Sally wraps Xavier up for the quick pin.
1…
Sally slips back as Tommy breaks the pin by swinging the Love Stick at Sally’s head - only to miss Sally completely and blast Xavier right in the forehead! Sally wraps Xavier up again as Tommy stares in disbelief at his broken Love Stick, shocked at what he has just done!
1…
2…
3!!!
Sally Talfourd by pinfall at 10:49. Xavier Reid 1, Sally Talfourd 1.
Aiello: Sally quickly catching up on Reid here with that pinfall!
Bennett: And after a travesty, Joe! Tommy tried to get one over on the CW Broadcast Champion but knocked off Reid instead!
Xavier rolls to his side as he dabs at the stream of blood trickling down from his eyebrow. He looks at Tommy and gives a WTF?! look to his manager. Tommy is trying to explain as the Ref gives Xavier 15 seconds to recover. The Ref signals to go and Sally and Xavier lock up in the center of the ring. Xavier immediately slips and applies a wrist lock. Xavier drops an elbow on Sally’s shoulder, driving her to one knee. Xavier steps back and knees her straight in the face and shoves her to her back, catching both arms and going right into a Fuck You Stomp right on Sally’s shoulder! Sally absorbs a couple violent stomps the shoulder before she slips a foot inside of Xavier’s and shoves, slipping his leg out from under him and sending him into the splits. Xavier screams as he grabs his groin as Tommy turns from the scene and grimaces as he grits his teeth. Sally pulls both legs in from her back and slams them into Xavier’s face, sending him to his back. She kips up and scrambles to the ropes, coming off with a baseball slide kick to Xavier’s head! Sally’s on fire as she pops back up and leaps into the air for a knee drop to Xavier’s face! She pulls Xavier back to his feet - nailing her version of a swinging reverse STO - THE OUTRO! She covers Xavier.
1…
2…
3!!!
Sally Talfourd by pinfall at 14:02. Xavier Reid 1, Sally Talfourd 2.
Aiello: Sally with that incredible STO picks up another pinfall and goes up ahead on Reid!
Xavier is slow to his feet as Sally is trying to work out the damage on her shoulder. The Ref gives Xavier the 15 seconds to recover before signaling to go again. Xavier approaches a little more cautiously this time as Sally starts to circle with him. They lock up and Xavier drives Sally back into the corner. The Ref calls for the clean break and as Xavier releases, he drives a kick to Sally’s midsection, doubling her over. Xavier moves back a few steps and comes in with a running knee lift into Saly, driving her into the corner. Sally nearly collapses and Xavier hops back, charging in again - only Sally back body drops Xavier out of the ring and onto the ring post. Xavier bounces painfully off the ring post and tumbles to the arena floor. Sally staggers out of the corner and catches her breath as Tommy moves around to check on Xavier. Sally looks up at the clock as she catches her breath - 15:45. She smiles softly to herself as the time ticks away before she watches Tommy try to get Xavier up to his feet.
Aiello: Well played by Sally! She is up 2 to 1 and is letting the clock run down as Xavier is still looking out of it on the outside of the ring.
Bennett: She’s only up by 1, Joe. She should be pressing to make it 3 to 1, then lolly-gag in the ring.
Xavier finally gets to his feet and glances up at the clock - 16:02. He limps his way back to the ring holding his back as Tommy shouts words of encouragement to him.
Love: DAMMIT XAVIER, PUNCH HER IN THE COOCH!
Aiello: Of course we picked that up on the mics…
Bennett: Would you expect anything less than pure class from Tommy Love?!
Xavier starts to stand up as Sally moves in on him. Xavier holds his hand up and Sally, being the good sport that she is, stops. Xavier struggles to get to his feet, then lunges forward and rakes Sally’s eyes! Sally staggers back as Xavier follows, catching her by the arm and tries to yank it out of its socket. Sally goes to one knee before Xavier dashes into the ropes and catches Sally with a running kick to the chest. Xavier pulls her to her feet and up onto his shoulders - XPLODE! A one-winged angel. Xavier covers.
1…
2…
3!!!
Xavier Reid by pinfall at 16:42. Xavier Reid 2, Sally Talfourd 2
Aiello: The tension is mounting now, folks! We're all tied up at 2 falls a piece!
Bennett: And there's plenty of time on the clock!
Xavier slips off Sally with a smile on his face. The Ref starts the 15 second count as Sally rolls onto her side, still rubbing at her eyes. The Ref hits 15 and signals to go once again. Xavier dashes in with a running forearm smash but Sally ducks it and kicks Xavier in the lower back as he passes. Xavier stumbles and nearly falls as he clutches his back. Sally moves in behind him quickly and pulls him into a backstabber! Xavier howls as he arches his back in agony on the mat. Sally for the quick cover.
1…
2…
3 - NO!! Kick Out by Xavier at the last second! Xavier rolls away from Sally as she seems a little shocked that he kicked out. Xavier is slow to his feet, still holding his back as Sally slowly gets to her feet as well. She steps in and pops Xavier with a standing drop kick that backs him up to the ropes. Sally gets back up and drives a forearm into the side of Xavier’s head. He drops to a knee as he holds onto the ropes for stability. Sally grabs Xavier and yanks him away from the ropes, slipping in behind him to lock in a hammerlock. Sally slips to the side and double Xavier’s over with a knee to the gut, then pulls him into a standing headscissors armbar she calls LAST SUMMER! Xavier screams in pain as Sally expertly applies leverage on him. Xavier struggles as the Ref checks on him. He shakes his head NO before Sally leans into the hold a bit more, drawing another pained scream from him. Xavier grits his teeth and just stands completely up, ignoring the pain, and then staggers two steps over and throws himself and Sally over the top rope! Both Sally and Xavier crash to the arena floor!!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
Aiello: What happens if this goes to a double count-out, Steve?
Bennett: That's a great question Joe, I really have no clue!
Xavier struggles to get to his feet, pulling at the ring apron as he tries to stand. Sally is holding her shoulder and trying to get back to her feet but falls back to one knee. Xavier is up and staggers to the farpost. He starts yelling at the Ref, drawing his attention as Tommy Love comes slinking from around the ring behind Sally. He raises the broken Love Club and cracks Sally across her battered shoulder, drawing a blood curdling scream from her. Tommy beats a hasty retreat as he smiles broadly and holds the destroyed Love Stick in the air. Sally’s scream draws the Ref’s attention; he yells at Tommy as he sees him wandering off with a smile on his face and Sally lying on the ground. Xavier hops onto the side of the apron and leaps off with a knee drop right on Sally’s shoulder!! Sally thrashes around on the floor in pain as Xavier rolls to the side and slowly gets to his feet. Xavier yanks Sally up by her hair and slings her back into the ring under the bottom ropes. He slides in slowly behind her as she starts to stand, her arm dangling limply by her side. Xavier charges in and punts her right in the shoulder! Sally yells in agony as Xavier grins at the damage done. He pulls Sally up and into a sitout double knee facebreaker he calls THE BEAST! Sally looks out of it as Xavier hooks the leg for the cover.
1…
2…
3!!!
Xavier Reid by pinfall at 27:22. Xavier Reid 3, Sally Talfourd 2.
Aiello: Reid taking a lot out of Sally with that double knee facebreaker!
Bennett: Not everyone is equipped to handle the Beast, Joe!
Xavier stands up slowly and roars. The Ref checks on Sally’s arm as she lies on her back. She shakes her head no - she is still good to continue. He nods and starts the 15 second count. Sally gets to her feet slowly as Xavier is chomping at the bit to finish this match. They both glance up at the clock - 27:37. The Ref signals to resume and Xavier rushes in on the battered Sally. She steps back, dodging a wildly thrown roundhouse kick from Xavier. She counters with a spinning wheel kick that catches Xavier right on the chin! Xavier is rocked and staggers back to the ropes. Sally dashes in and blasts him with a stepping side kick, bouncing Xavier off the ropes and onto the mat. Sally glances up at the clock- 28:29. She drops on Xavier and goes for a Japanese armbar but she screams in pain as her shoulder fails her. Xavier shoves her off and rolls away from her. Sally gets to her feet as quickly as she can and charges in on Xavier as he struggles to stand, driving a kard kick into his ribs. Xavier doubles over as Sally slips in and applies a kneebar! She screams in agony as she locks in the hold, her shoulder looking to fail her at any moment. Xavier is struggling to try to reach the ropes. He tries to kick her off, aiming for her battered shoulder but Sally barely keeps that wounded shoulder out of his range. She throws everything she has left into the kneebar and Xavier howls in pain as his knee looks to just about go! Xavier struggles but he can’t take it any longer!
DING DING DING
Aiello: WAIT! What? Did she get it?! It looked like he tapped!
Bennett: The Ref is signaling the end of the match and telling Sally that time has expired! I can’t believe it, she was so close to tying it up!
Stroup: And your winner, with 3 to 2 pins fall/submission - XAVIER REID!!!
Sally hangs her head in disappointment for a moment as the Ref hoists Xavier’s hand in the air as Tommy slips into the ring. Sally nods to herself before painfully rolling out of the ring as Xavier stabilizes Xavier on that damaged knee.
Aiello: Oh. My. Gosh! What a match! Xavier outlasted a late charge by Sally and wins it, but at what cost to that knee?!
Bennett:This match was absolute torture on both of these wrestlers! Sally gave everything she had at the end, nearly pulling off a tie, but time expired before Xavier tapped. I am not sure how bad her shoulder is, all I know is that both these two will be sore as hell tomorrow!
Aiello: What a match, and we still have our main event. We'll be back soon as The HunterS take on Dio and King Flip, don't go away!
With that, we cut to our final commercial of the evening...
INTERBRAND INSANITY: THE BRAWLYMPICS TAG TEAM TUG OF WAR!
TAG TEAM MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
The HunterS
VS King Dong
TAG TEAM MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
The HunterS
VS King Dong
We return to ringside where Iggy Swango stands where Jessica Stroup would usually be, ready to call the main event of the evening. We can see Stroup giving Swango the stink eye from ringside.
Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, we're in the final stretch of the evening with tonight's main event! We saw earlier just how personal the International champion took the remarks of The HunterS and we're going to see how all of that plays out. We're looking forward to a hell of a battle here, Bennett.
Bennett: On one side you've got the brand new tag team King Dong lookin' to etch their name in the division, and on the other you've got hall of fame legend Ruthann Hunter and her son, the HBO Broadcast champion, Jason Hunter, and you're right Joe. They had little good to say about Dio and the King.
Aiello: To top it off, we've got Iggy Swango out here, again, who just had a great opening bout with an up-and-comer to the red brand in Chelsea Skye, and it looks like she's taken the reigns from Jessica Stroup who, let's be honest, looks none too pleased about it.
Bennett: I could listen to either of them speak all night so it makes no difference to me.
Aiello: Wow, Bennett. Just wow. Let's get on with the main event!
Swango: The following contest is an X-Division tag team match scheduled for one fall. Joining us first, being accompanied to the by some old bat, hailing from 2016 when they were last relevant, at a combined weight of 420 pounds of inflated ego... Ruthann... Jason... they are THE HUNTERS!
The lights go while smoke appears around the ramp up on the X Tron a video of Jaden Hunter matches highlights then it goes right into Ruthless Aggression matches highlights and then right into Jason Hunter matches right back into a image of Jaden Hunter as the smoke and lights start to flash like crazy “Burn It All Down” start playing and his image turn into the following image:
Jason and Ruthann come out from the smoke wearing the dragon masks red and gold looking around at the crowd as they start going crazy while they kept walking down the ramp with them on their head. Rose Lee comes out from behind them wearing her still she move her head around like a dragon to the music. Jason plays with the crowd as Ruthann looks back at the X Tron with a bit of a smirk while she walks down the ramp.
Rose Lee walked down the ramp behind them playing to the crowd as she take off her dragon and place it on a child head. She start to play with the child showing him or her how to move their head like a dragon to the music. Meanwhile Jason and Ruthann walked down the ramp towards the ring. They climb inside of the ring together playing with the crowd a bit more standing on the top rope they look at each other and back at the crowd scream out along with the Crowd
“BURN IT DOWN!!!!!!!!”
Ruthann jump off the rope as she made sure everyone saw the back of her jacket was a picture of her Jaden and Jason together as Jason start to play to dance to the music. Rose Lee was waiting for them in the corner as they got on their knees in front of who they facing moving their heads like a dragon glaring over at the other team with their back to her while she place her hand on their masks looking over at who they facing with a bit of a smirk taking off their Dragon Mask and on Right side of Ruthann's face is painted a Red Dragon with X as eyes. On Jason's face left side of his face painted a Gold Dragon with a halo over it head. They pop up off their knees at the same time still glaring at the people taking off their jacket. They then looked like they were about to mist them but then smirk because they wasn't going to do that with a grin going over to their corner where their Dragon Mask is looking towards the other team from the corner as they talk about who will go first.
Swango: And their opponents, being accompanied to the ring by the sultry step-sister Chanel, from Skull Island, weighing in at 425 pounds of pure excellence... the International champion King Flip... the sexy savant Dio... they are KIIING DOOONG!
The beautiful violin intro to 'When You're Evil' by Voltaire begins to play throughout the arena, reaching its peak before Dio and King Flip emerge through the curtain with Chanel not too far behind. Dio tugs at the collar of his leather jacket as Flip pulls back the hood on his hooded vest. The King turns around, tossing a thumb overhead to point at the 'King Dong' etched into his vest. The team bumps fisted forearms and heads toward the ring. The crowd roars in approval as King Dong slides into the ring and gets face-to-face with The HunterS. Chanel walks the outside perimiter with a smile and a nod at Iggy Swango, who makes her departure quickly as it looks like the match is going to start before the bell even rings. The HunterS and King Dong are throwing hands!
Aiello: Iggy Swango showing who she favors already, now that's not what a ring announcer should be doing. But nevertheless it looks like this X-Division match is going to be underway immediately... on with the contest!
DING DING DING
Dio and Ruthann trade right hands while Jason and King Flip do much of the same. Not a single one of the four appear to be giving an inch as, blow after blow after blow, the fists and forearms and just seem to be increasing in brutality and violence. Dio begins to get an upper hand in his attacks on Ruthann as Jason does much the same against the King. Dio ducks a wide right hand from Ruthann and executes a picture perfect standing dropkick that sends her smashing into a corner turnbuckle. Jason Hunter blocks a right hand, hits one of his own, ducks the second right hand, bounces in a run off the ropes and plants Flip to the canvas with a running knee to the face. The King bounces off the canvas but can't get up fast enough to avoid the second assault of Jason bounding off the ropes. STIFF cannonball to the King in the center of the ring. Dio plants boot after boot into Ruthann's midsection before finally just grabbing her a tossing her over the top rope at the same time Jason gets Flip to his feet and tosses him over the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Now Dio and Jason turn toward one another and the audience goes wild.
Bennett: Business is about to pick up!
Aiello: Hey, that's my line!
Dio and Jason Hunter slowly circle the ring with neither wanting to give their opponent an opening or an edge. It's the young Hunter who finds the first opening when they come to the center of the ring for a grapple. Jason takes Dio to the canvas with a snapmare and hits a brutal kick to the back of the head. Hunter continues his assault by quickly and gracefully applying the surfboard submission to Dio in the center of the ring, lifting Your Crux up into the air to apply pressure to all four of his appendages. Ruthann slowly gets to the ring apron on their side of the ring but the King has other plans. He had slowly brought himself over to their side of the ring and pulls her feet out from under her. Ruth's face bounces off the ring apron but she's got something for this kind of action. Flip ducks the red mist! Chanel is right behind him and gets a face full of crimson red and screams in pain and shock. Flip comes back up with a few European uppercuts bringing Ruth to the steel steps. He grabs her and starts to pull her to the guardrail when out of nowhere Jason Hunter comes soaring over the top rope. Suicide dive takes Flip and Ruthann out! He released the surfboard submission on Dio and went to the aid of his mother after hearing the scream from Chanel.
Aiello: Business has definitely picked up here, Bennett. Dio is nursing his arms and legs in the ring, Chanel's got a face full of mist, and now Jason Hunter has dove over the ropes to stop the assault from the International champion on his mother. The only one standing is HBO Broadcast champion Jason Hunter!
Bennett: He's definitely leaving his mark on the match, but he's gotta get back in there and focus on Dio if he wants to end this. Sure, it's an X-Division match, but Dio is the legal man. He can't let Flip pull his attention away from that.
Jason gets up and rallies the crowd behind him as he picks King Flip up and rolls him into the ring away from his mother. Jason slides into the ring after the King, stalking him as he waits for his opponent to get to their feet. Jason springboards off the ropes and is about to execute his signature reverse DDT when Dio catches him from behind with another picture perfect standing dropkick. Flip gets sent into the ropes as Jason flies off into the corner. Hunter's head bounces off the turnbuckles as Dio slaps Flip's back giving him some sort of signal. Flip turns to stumble into position and hits his signature pele kick. Dio follows up with his signature double arm DDT. Moment of Tranquility! Dio goes for the pinfall!

Chanel tries to stop Ruthann from entering the ring and gets shoved hard into the guardrail.

.
Flip stumbles into the Ruthann, who hits her signature overhead reverse powerbomb Old School!
THR-NO!!!
The King gets sent soaring into the pinning attempt, breaking the count. Dio looks over confused but can't look up fast enough as a blasted Flip only has the strength to just shake his head about.
Aiello: Ruthann breaking the pin with the body of King Flip after taking out his manager outside the ring. A string of strength and ingenuity shown by the Hall of Famer here and Dio needs to watch out, because she's coming for him next!
Bennett: I think Dio's about to figure it out. WHAM!
Ruthann grabs both arms of Dio and lifts him by his arms only to boot him face down into the canvas with her signature move. Eats the Mat! She lays down boots onto Dio as, slowly but surely, Jason Hunter gets to a standing position. The Hall of Famer has booted Dio into a seated position in the corner and exits onto the ring apron long enough for her son to come up and start delivering boots of his own. Tag to Ruthann. They switch positions and now Ruth is laying down more shoe leather. Tag to Jason. They do this over and over again much to the jubilation of the crowd, executing to perfection their signature tag move: tag, you're it! They're onto their umpteenth tag in and out when Flip comes flying in with a forearm to Ruth knocking her off the ring apron. Jason is exiting the ring when he sees his mother fly into the guardrail. The King grabs him by the head and hits a STIFF headbutt, knocking Jason off the ring apron into the guardrail as well. The King has no time to relish in his moment, however, as he gets Dio to their feet and hobbles over to the King Dong corner. Flip exits the ring and grabs the tag rope long enough for Dio to tag him into the match. Ruthann slowly slides into the ring as Flip is reentering from the opposite side.
Aiello: The International Champion had a whole hell of a lot to say earlier tonight and now, deep into this X-Division tag match, we're going to see the champ clash with the hall of fame legend.
Bennett: Definitely ain't no love lost between these two and I for one am here for the carnage that's about to unfold.
Chanel works with Iggy and ringside and both ladies slide a steel chair into the ring from opposite sides of the ring. The King motions for Ruthann to grab one as he grabs the other. He unfolds it and sits down, challenging Miss Hunter to do much the same. She follows suit, sitting mere inches away from him, and POP! She catches the King with a mean right hand. He chuckles through the pain and matches its intensity through a right hand of his own. Back and forth the right hands go until they both unleash a blitzkrieg of fists on their opponent with neither giving an inch or losing a quarter. Flip tries to catch her off guard with a gnarly headbutt, but she replies with a headbutt of her own. Fists have become forearms as the two wail into one another harder and faster than before. They've risen to their feet at this point and have brawled over to the ropes. Flip gets an eyerake to buy himself a second. Chanel whistles and Flip looks over just as his International championship flies into his hands. He takes a single step back and PLANTS it into the face of Ruthann Hunter. She's been busted open! Jason Hunter has had enough and enters the ring. Dio enters after him. Flip goes for another slam of his title into an opponent's face but Jason Hunter scouts the attack and rolls under. He doesn't scout Dio being in position. Laertius Effect! Flip tosses his belt out to Iggy Swango and quickly gets into position on the top rope. Royal Blood!
Aiello: Ladies and gentlemen, they call that the RoyaLaertius Effect! Double finisher by King Dong. This could be all over here!
Bennett: There's only one caveat to that, Joe. Jason Hunter ain't the legal man!
Flip and Dio roll Jason Hunter out of the ring and begin to stalk Ruthann. Dio rushes to bounce off the ropes as Flip hits the atomic drop. No! Ruthann bites the forehead of the King before swinging him around and avoiding the high knee. Dio connects with the knee on Flip! The King hits the canvas hard as Dio looks down in shock. Ruthann stalks from behind. Kick to the torso as Dio turns around. Double underhook facebuster finisher. Ode to Xplode, it's the DROP ZONE! Ruthann, still dazed, goes for the pinfall on Dio. It takes a couple seconds for the referee to get through to her that Dio isn't the legal man. In a fit of rage she gets up and lifts him to his feet, tossing him over the top rope. Dio fumbles out to the thinly padded concrete as Ruthann goes for the pin on King Flip. Flip catches her off guard with a thumb to the eye followed by a small package!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winners, via pinfall... KIIIING DOOOOOONG!
Flip rises to his feet, elated to pick up the win...but the joy is gone very quickly as Jason slides back into the ring, steel chair in hand!
Aiello: Oh, this doesn't look good at all!
Bennett: I was starting to wonder if this match lacked the brutality of an X-Division match, and also...remember what Flip said about Ruthann earlier tonight? Looks like Jason took that personally!
WHAMMY! Jason wallops the International Champion right in the back with the steel chair, dropping him instantly! Jason looks for another shot, but is cut off by Dio making it back in the ring. Jason drops the chair and the two start brawling back and forth, until Dio goes for the Inevitable...but Jason counters out, kicking Dio in the gut before delivering the Hunter's Drop Zone onto the chair!
Aiello: Oh my, Jason has snapped!
Bennett: Flip invoked his father's name and tried to get under his mother's skin leading up to this match, and the son has finally had enough!
This only comes to an end when Flip is able to get his partner out of the ring, the pair regrouping on the ramp as they stare down Jason and Ruthann as she gets back on her feet. There's a sense that this situation is far from over, as the show comes to a close.
