The camera cuts back to Moxie holding his EWC HBO Broadcast Championship, then Lavender holding her EWC United States Championship, and holding the Undisputed Championship high into the air.
We cut to the commentary booth, where P-Dugs & KD both stand.
P-Dugs: Welcome to Friday Night Rampage, I am your boy Polar joined by my brother Koala. You'll have to excuse me doing the opener today, Koala has had a very bad day!
We can tell Koala Duggan has been crying, he looks up and gives a fake smile.
KD: Today has been a tragic day, as a gay man Kevin Conroy was everything. There will never be another Batman like him, ever.
KD begins to cry again..
P-Dugs: In our main event, it's Undisputed Champion Lavender taking on Ace King with her United States Championship on the line. That will be a fun main event!
KU whips his tears.
KD: In our semi-final, it's the former Undisputed Champion Melody Malone taking on fellow former Undisputed Champion Xavier Reid.
P-Dugs: Before that, it's a triple threat with Aiya Vs Ruthann Vs Salvation! And before that, it's Dean Judas Vs Mercenary.
KD: And before that, it's Andrea Hernandez making her Rampage return to take on Matthieson. And then our second match of the evening sees Autumn Raven taking on Jamie Love in an Iron Man Match.
P-Dugs: And our opening bout of the evening sees Moxie defending his Rampage HBO Broadcast Championship against Megumi Sengoku!
After the Rampage commentary team had made the introductions, everyone’s attention turned to the stage when The Gracious Few’s “Honest Man” hit the speakers. The spotlights dance around the arena, emitting a combination of a red and gold glow. The cameras catch a few shots of the crowd’s mixed reaction before switching to the stage where the current reigning and defending HBO Broadcast Champion emerges from behind the curtain. Moxie was already dressed and ready for his scheduled match against Megumi Sengoku.
Moxie pauses on the stage to do his trademark pose, holding the title with a strong bite in his mouth whilst raising both fists to either side of his jaw, triggering a bigger response from the capacity crowd. It should be noted that Moxie’s wrist was still being protected, although this time by a splint which had suggested that the recovery was going well despite Moxie still opting to compete in matches.
The HBO Broadcast Champion proceeded down the ramp, ignoring the outstretched arms of the capacity crowd in attendance. He rolls into the ring and poses once more with his championship title raised high above his head before requesting a microphone from one of the stagehands nearby. He raises the microphone to his lips, which signals the music to fade out.
Moxie: Now hold on a second before we get to the formalities of the show and not to mention my upcoming title match against Megumi, I couldn’t help but realize that there’s a problem with the main event match of tonight’s show. You got Lavender defending the United States Championship against Ace King.
The fans cheer loudly at the mentioned competitors in tonight’s main event, much to the annoyance of the young Brit.
Moxie: Yeah… yeah whatever you know instead of cheering those two, what you should be doing is wondering exactly why that match is happening in the first place. I mean let’s be honest with ourselves, only someone with half a brain can decide that Ace King deserves to be #1 ranked wrestler in the United States Championship division.
The crowd begin to boo the HBO Champ who brushes them off.
Moxie: Now I wouldn’t have a problem with this, you know being a champion in my own right. It was only when I saw my name at #2 that I started to have an issue. I couldn’t possibly understand how a man who’s done nothing but play second fiddle to me all season has ended up placing higher on the rankings. You can boo all you like, but you know it’s the honest truth. Do I need to remind you who knocked The Gambler out of the BORT earlier this year and took this HBO Championship from him in the process?
Moxie taps his championship belt aggressively to match his intensity.
Moxie: And then there was the Rumble match in my own hometown of London, England where not only did I outlast both Lavender and Ace King, but goddamnit I eliminated them both from the match myself. So I’ll ask again, why the fuck is Ace King in this match instead of Moxie?
The crowd continue to boo, but Moxie cuts them off.
Moxie: That’s right. Just like the idiots backstage, you don’t have a legitimate answer either and that’s fine. I’ll take on Megumi tonight and retain my HBO Broadcast Championship, perhaps letting off some steam in the process, and I’ll show everyone exactly what they’re missing. Just remember one thing…
I don’t forgive, and I definitely won’t forget the disrespect.
And with that said Moxie tosses the microphone to the ground, causing it to bounce off of the mat and to the floor. His facial expressions paint a picture of a pissed off young man who’s ready for a fight.

MATCH ONE
Megumi Sengoku VS Moxie
HBO Broadcast Singles Match - Prize Presented By HBO - Winner Receives A HBO Branded Lamborghini
REF: Mike Michaelson
We return to ringside, Moxie is already in the ring following his earlier promo.
KD: Moxie left some scolding words for Ace King and Lavender ahead of their match tonight, but I wonder if he's put even more pressure on himself?
P-Dug: If he comes out here and drops this title to Megumi, I'd say that's definitely an embarrassing bit on his part.
KD: And Megumi is good enough, she very well may embarrass him.
Chriqui: The following match, set for one fall, is for the HBO Broadcast Championship where the winner will also win this Lambourgini.
Chriqui: Introducing first, the challenger, residing in Tokyo, Japan and weighing in at 130 pounds ... MEGUMI!!!
The music hits and out walks Megumi. She stands the top of the walkway holding the Shinijoshi Flag. She pauses for a moment, before making her way to the ring.
Chriqui: And the opponent from London, England and weighing in at 202 pounds, he is the HBO Broadcast Champion... MOXIE!!!

Moxie counters sending Megumi off the ropes. She returns hitting a meteora. Megumi runs off the ropes and takes Moxie down with a big boot. Megumi runs off the ropes and boots Moxie in the face knocking him down. He gets to his feet as Narumi runs at the ropes, tiger feints through them and runs back at Moxie cracking him with a bicycle knee. Moxie drops to the mat where Megumi makes a cover

Moxie grabs Megumi and wraps her in London's Calling. Megumi screams in pain as she tries to break free of the hold. Moxie pulls back and wrenches as much as he can. Megumi stretches and manages to get some fingers onto the bottom rope to force a break. Moxie holds on for an extra few seconds before releasing the hold. Both slowly get to their feet. Megumi lashes out cracking Moxie with a Brazilian Kick. Both drop to the mat with Megumi landing on top. The referee counts.

KD: Cost of fuel these days, that'll be on Ebay within the hour. Either way it's a big title defence for Moxie.
P-Dug: Megumi fought well in this one but her gage said 'empty'
MATCH TWO

REF: Pierce Patterson
Autumn Raven VS "The Love Child" Jamie Love
30 Minute Iron Man Match - 3rd Of Best Two Out Of Three Series - Winner Receives The Original Ironman Suit Worn By RDJ In Iron Man (2008)
REF: Pierce Patterson
We stay ringside for our second match.
KD: Once again, congrats to Moxie... and now we move into a thirty minute Iron Man Match!
P-Dug: After how brutal their other two matches have been, this might be a bloody affair.
Chriqui: The following match is an Iron Man Match and the final match in a best two out of three series. Introducing first from Los Angeles, California & weighing in at 125 pounds... AUTUMN RAVEN!!!
The tron plays a scene of the hollywood walk of fame going by slowly, the shadow of a raven seen over each and every star that’s there. As you hear the lyrics ‘Your stars burned out for good, somewhere in Hollywood’, the shadow flies into the one star without a name, writing out Autumn’s name on it, the star turning to a dingy, grungy picture with graffiti written all over it.
As the first part of the song starts up, Autumn appears from backstage, slowly walking out, coming to a stop at the top of the ramp as she surveys the crowd with a cold smirk on her face. She stands there for a minute before making her way down the ramp slowly, walking once around the ring before sliding under the bottom rope and hopping to her feet, making her way to the corner to climb to the top ringpost. She flings her arms out to the side, laughing at the crowd.
Chriqui: And her opponent from Takayama, Japan & weighing in at 120 pounds... JAMIE LOVE!!!
Notorious By Adalitas Way hits the PA system and Jamie walks out from behind the curtain with a smirk on his face and his half of the tag teams championships around his waist. Next to him is his girlfriend Sara who is carrying the bloody kendo stick she used to assault Ruthann Hunter and a glare in her eyes as she looks out at the crowd. Behind him on either side are Tommy and Maria Love, Maria giving him last minute advice and his father insulting the fans in the front row as Jamie rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring where he immediately gets to his feet and climbs to the middle turnbuckle where he unbuckles his title and holds it up in the air as he gives everyone at ringside the finger.
KD: Autumn Raven has had the best year of her career this year, she's picked up more wins than previous and really seems on the cusp of doing great things next year.
P-Dug: I have to agree, 2023 could be her year.
DING DING DING
The countdown clock reads 30:00:00 and it begins to count down. Autumn Raven and Jamie Love circle each other, then they engage in a shoulder/collar tie-up. Jamie Love takes control into a wrist-lock, then he takes-the-back with a go-behind before smashing his forearm into Autumn's back. Autumn spins around and into a slap that knocks Jamie backwards into the ropes. Jamie explodes out in a fiery rebound with a basement dropkick to Autumn's knee. Autumn leaves her feet and spins into a corkscrew splash that lands flush on Jamie!
KD: And when you talk about a breakout year, Jamie Love has gone from zero to hero to a World Tag Team Champion!
P-Dug: It's been a heck of a run.
Autumn drags Jamie up by his hair, Jamie forearms her stomach, kicks her thigh and then jumps into an enziguri. As Autumn falls forward Jamie Love rolls her up... one, two, three... that's the first point of the match! Jamie drags Autumn up and spins into a back elbow, Autumn ducks and Jamie spins over her and then keeps spinning until he is face to face with her. Autumn jams her thumb into Jamie's eye and then pushes him into the ropes. Autumn pulls Jamie out into a springboard bulldog, cover! One, two, three! Autumn has tied this up. Autumn hits the ropes and jumps into a flying leg drop, Autumn hits the hopes and springboards into another flying leg drop. Autumn with a deep cover and one, two, three. Autumn Raven drags Jamie up and pulls him forward into a Hurricanrana with a roll-up, but Jamie kicks out! Autumn mounts Jamie and begins to punch down on him, ignoring the refs count and ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE... Autumn Raven has been DQed, this match is now 2-3 with Autumn leading a point. The clock reads 15:00:00
P-Dug: As expected, this match has been a brutal affair so far, those fifteen minutes were deadly.
KD: Autumn may very well have Jamie Love down and out in this one!
Autumn rolls Jamie to his stomach and lifts him to his hands and knees, DOUBLE STOMP TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD. Autumn rolls out of the ring and grabs herself a steel-chair. She gets back into the ring and smashes it against the back of Jamie Love's head! That's another DQ, we are tied up at 3-3. Autumn drags Jamie up, punches him in the throat and grabs a cover after he falls. One, Two, Three. Autumn is up 4-3! Autumn laughs in Jamie's face, but he spits in her eye and then trips her up! She falls face first on to the chair and is busted open! Jamie pulls himself up, and as Autumn climbs he runs up and kicks her stiff in the back of the head, then he stomps down on the back of her head until he gets DQed! Autumn is up 5-3! Jamie picks up the chair and smashes it into Autumn's head, it's 6-3! Jamie drags Autumn up and with a forearm strike he clotheslines her. Cover! One, Two, Three! 6-4! Jamie drags Autumn up to her knees and drops her with a DDT! He covers! One, Two, Three! 6-5! Jamie drags Autumn up by her face, and then he superkicks her! Jamie with his own Claw of Night Superkick! Autumn falls forward and Jamie catches her mid-air with a forearm smash that echos through the venue with a sick thud. Jamie covers! One, Two, Three! 6-6! Jamie covers again, one, two, KICKOUT! The clock reads 00:45:23! Jamie drags Autumn up to a knee with forty seconds left and he knees her in the face once, twice, thrice, four times! Jamie pulls Autumn up by her hair and headbutts her! She falls, and he falls deadweight over her with five seconds left!

Chriqui: And your winner, via a score of seven points to six ... JAMIE LOVE!!!!
Jamie Love gets to his feet and raises up his half of the EWC World Tag Team Championship. He heads to the back with a limp while medical checks on Raven.
KD: A big win for Jamie Love as he wins this series and gets momentum heading into WrestleFest!
P-Dug: Raven brought the fight to Jamie in this series, and again I think 2023 could be a breakout year.
KD: Don't go anywhere, we'll be right back.
MATCH THREE
Andrea Hernandez VS Matthieson
Singles Match - Winner Receives An All Expenses Paid Two Week Trip To Kyoto, Japan Over The Break, Including Staying At The Five-Star Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto. May Bring Up To Three Friends
REF: Mike Michaelson
We return to ringside and cut over to the commentary booth.
KD: Welcome back from break, next up we have Andrea making her Rampage return.
P-Dug: Last time we saw her, she pushed Lavender to her limit... and now she takes on a Rampage newcomer, this should be an interesting match.
Chriqui: The following match is set for one fall with the winner to receive an all-expenses paid trip to Kyoto, Japan. Introducing first residing in Paradise Valley, Arizona and weighing in at 125 pounds ... ANDREA HERNANDEZ!!!
"Ultranumb" by Blue Stahli hits the venue’s soundwaves. Andrea appears on the stage to some strong boos from the crowd. Andrea scoffs at the crowd and doesn't pay them any attention at all otherwise as she is completely focused on the task at hand. She gets up to the ring apron and uses the top rope to slingshot herself into it, ignoring the crowd even further as she leans against the corner, confidently waiting for what comes next.
Chriqui: And the opponent, residing in Anchorage, Alaska and weighing in at 220 pounds... MATTHIESEN!!!
The lights dim around the arena, the sound of waves can be heard as ‘Pirate’ by Liu & GenX begins to play, the light slowly come up as Matthiesen walks out from the backstage wearing his worn leather jacket and ring attire. He stares with intent at the ring as he walks down, ignoring the fans down the aisleway, he jumps up onto the ring apron and climbs through the middle and top rope.
DING DING DING
Andrea runs at Matthiesen with a crossbody. He catches her and body slams her to the mat. He tries to jab him in the gut but Matthiesen catches her with a series of jabs and a discuss clothesline. Andrea staggers to her feet and Matthiesen whips her off the ropes. She spins around him hitting a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Andrea springs off the middle rope hitting a bulldog. Matthiesen staggers to his feet. Andrea runs hitting a busaiku knee. She hooks the leg.

Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall ... ANDREA HERNANDEZ!!!!
Andrea gets to her feet as a bunch of stewards run into the ring. She looks bemused but happy as each one kisses her cheek before the last one hands Andrea her ticket to Japan. She looks at it for a moment before holding it high in the air like a championship.
KD: There's going to be some happy screams coming from Phoenix Sky Harbor International over the winter break. With good reason too, that is a big win here for Andrea Hernandez
P-Dug: While she screams herself hoarse and eats her bodyweight in rice and sushi, you just know Matthiesen will be in the gym looking to come back stronger and maybe win some championships in the new season. He looked good here at several points in the match.
The X-Tron comes to life to the sight of Phoenix Winterborn at his home just outside of Chicago, Illinois. He still looks in rough shape after the attack by Grizzly Duggan two weeks ago. Wincing a bit, as he moved his arm around, he sighed.
Phoenix Winterborn: Grizz...I hurt. A lot. What you did to me? It hasn't been done in quite a number of years. This was worse than with Matsuda turned on me. But...you made a critical error.
He paused for a moment, standing up from his chair.
Phoenix Winterborn: You didn't finish the job. You didn't kill me, and now? You just signed your own death warrant. The reign of Grizzly Duggan will fall by my hand. One way...or another. You see, while I was laid up in the hospital, I was thinking. Thinking of various ways I could hurt you. Ways that I could get to watch you bleed, just as you made me bleed. Over, and over, and over, and over again. And I came up with this. You wanna get rid of me? I wanna get rid of you. So, how about this. WrestleFest. You and me. One on one. You win? I leave Rampage for good. If I win? I get the HBO champion on the season Premiere. IN A FAIR MATCH.
The crowd at MSG cheers in agreement.
Phoenix Winterborn: I'd say the choice is simple, old man Duggan. You got nothing to lose, and I have everything to gain. Hell, I'll even let you pick the match, so long as it's one on one. Talk soon.
Abruptly, the feed ends, cutting the scene.
MATCH FOUR
Dean Judas VS The Mercenary
Singles Match - Winner Wins A Brand New Harley Davidson Motorcycle, And A Check For Fifty-Thousand USD
REF: Pierce Patterson
Dean Judas VS The Mercenary
Singles Match - Winner Wins A Brand New Harley Davidson Motorcycle, And A Check For Fifty-Thousand USD
REF: Pierce Patterson
We return to ringside where Pierce Patterson is checking the ropes and everything while chatting with the ring technicians.
KD: What a show this far and we aren’t even finished.
P-Dug: Two blokes will fight over a Harley and some cash. This should be good.
Chriqui: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Los Angeles, California & weighing in at 245 pounds... DEAN JUDAS!!!
The lights along the entrance tunnel pulsate while the arena is engulfed in darkness. Each time the bass hits the lights flash on around the tunnel.
Judas is announced as the song hammers with every pulse being felt throughout the arena, a series of bright blinding white lights strobe. The chorus bangs.
Out walks Judas grinning. Strolling down the ramp as the music continues to overpower the crowd’s attempts to boo Dean into submission. Pounding his chest like a beast, Judas cracks his trademark smile flashing his pearly whites. Hopping down off of the turnbuckle Judas appears primed.
Chriqui: And his opponent from Oakland, California & weighing in at 365 pounds... MERCENARY!!!
Dropkick Murphys The Gauntlet blasts over the PA. A flashing red strobe lights the stage as the rest of the room goes dark.
Mercenary swaggers out onto the stage with his face hidden behind a hard tactical mask painted to look like The Punisher's iconic skull logo. His eyes inside the mask scan the crowd. He crosses both arms, gloved fists clenched, across his chest and under his chin. The pose resembles a skull and crossbones. To either side of him the stage explodes in motes of red and orange flame. The fans sing along as the song comes to its chorus:
Stand Up and FIGHT!
And I'll Stand Up with you.
We shall succeed.
STAND UP AND FIGHT!
AND I'LL STAND UP WITH YOU!
Removing the mask the big man salutes the crowd and stalks towards the ring at a steady pace filled with menace and a deadly purpose he climbs between the ropes and walks to the corner where he throws a few shadow punch combos at the turnbuckle before turning with his back to the corner, his arms crossed again across his chest to glower in his opponent's direction and wait for the bell to give him the sign to come out swinging.
KD: After suffering a loss on Brawl, I wonder what is going through the mind of Dean Judas. Is he truly prepared for what awaits him?
P-Dug: For his sake, he had better be prepared otherwise I think Mercenary will have his way in this match.
DING DING DING
The moment the bell dings, Dean Judas charges across the ring and slams his shoulder directly into Mercenary’s midsection. Despite the weight advantage, Dean manages to push Mercenary into the corner while continuing to slam his shoulder into the midsection. After the fifth shoulder strike, Dean goes back to the diagonal corner and comes sprinting towards Mercenary.
Just as Dean goes to leave his feet, he is met with a vicious uppercut to his chin. The blow knocks him back a bit as Mercenary grabs him around the head and starts delivering body blow after body blow. He follows up with a massive elbow to side of the head. Mercenary grabs Dean by the arm, looks to shoot him off but pulls him back and delivers a spinning power slam.
KD: A stiff powerslam that almost sent Judas right through the ring!
P-Dug: You could feel that shake in Jersey.
Dean bows his back as Mercenary quickly goes for cover.

Dean manages to get his shoulder up just before the count of two. Mercenary gets up to his feet and pulls Dean up to his feet. Mercenary looks to shoot him off but Dean slips behind him. Dean hooks his arms around Mercenary’s waist and throws him over his head with an amazing German Suplex. Dean keeps his grip around the waist as he twists his hips and stands back up to a vertical base. Dean grabs Mercenary by the arm, goes to spin him out but as Mercenary comes back, he clocks Dean with a forearm that goes across the bridge of his nose.
Dean grunts before firing back with several rights and lefts into the body of Mercenary. Mercenary bends over as Dean bounces off the ropes and connects with a somersault neckbreaker. Dean quickly goes for a cover.

Dean barely gets a two count before Mercenary throws him off.
P-Dug: Big kick-out from Mercenary, but I thought that was it.
KD: I thought so too, Dean Judas is bringing out all the stops.
Dean doesn’t waste much time as he bounces off the ropes again. Mercenary drops down in front of Dean. Dean leaps over him and bounces off the other side. As he is coming off the ropes, Mercenary extends his leg as Dean runs face first into the boot. Dean drops for a second as Mercenary lifts him upside down before dropping him down onto his head. Mercenary quickly goes for a cover.

Chriqui: And your winner, via pin fall ... MERCENARY!!!!
Mercenary rolls out of the ring as he eyes his new toy. Patterson walks over with the briefcase as Mercenary takes it and holds it in the air. Meanwhile, Dean Judas is slowly coming too as blood is flowing down the lower half of his face.
KD: Mercenary proved why he is still the Outlaw on Rampage. Can’t wait to see what he does come WrestleFest.
P-Dug: Dean put up a fight but it just wasn’t enough, this time.
KD: And now we'll head backstage...
Backstage, we find intrepid interviewer Brian Spade standing by in one of the Garden’s corridors with microphone in hand.
Spade: Folks, please welcome my guest at this time: the EWC X-Division Champion, El Pablo!
The fans inside the Garden let out a cheer as the Technicolour Tecnico steps into shot, his title belt draped across his shoulder and a cup of what we can assume to be freshly-brewed Skittlecino in his hand.
Spade: Pablo, great to see you as always; what is it that brings you to Rampage here tonight?
El Pablo: Well Brian, when you receive a formal, cordial invitation from the Queen herself…
Spade: Did you?
El Pablo: …Well, she said she hoped that I’d be watching.
He shrugs, taking a sip from his cup.
El Pablo: In any case, this is of course the Rampage Season Finale - and as the only EWC superstar to be undefeated on the green brand this season-
Spade: Well, I’m pretty sure Callie Clark and the Bastards are also und-
El Pablo: As the only EWC superstar with more than two Rampage matches under his belt to be undefeated-
Spade: I think Aeon Khronos is actually 2-0 as well - and wasn’t one of your matches a draw with Xavier Reid?
El Pablo: Okay, can we just-
Spade: I’m sorry, I was only-
El Pablo: -You can clearly see what I’m trying to-
Spade: -I just didn’t want there to be any-
El Pablo: -and I’m just getting a little - Alright, alright!
Silence falls, as the Tecnico takes a moment to breathe deeply and re-compose himself.
El Pablo: I felt it was important that I be here…not just to mark the occasion but, also because there’s a lot of matches here tonight that may well prove to be of significant significance for the wider world of the Rainbowlution going forward. There’s the opportunity to scout Malone and Lavender ahead of WrestleFest, obviously - but there’s also the chance to celebrate what sounds like it may well be the swan song of mi dulce alma Ruthless Aggression against two people who I suspect will be key components of the X-Division as we move into the new season.
Spade: You’re talking, of course, about Salvation and “Headhuntress” Aiya.
El Pablo: Mi mejor amiga herself, yes.
He smirks.
El Pablo: And then, of course, there’s the chance to bear witness to the ultimate cherry on top of this sumptuous Skittles sundae; witnessing Ace King become a two-time United States Champion by besting Lavender in tonight’s main event and kick-start the sequel to the iconic, incomparable 777!
Spade: An outcome that would certainly suit you as you prepare for your Undisputed Championship match at WrestleFest XX - as would, I imagine, seeing your brother Xavier Reid fulfil his promise of decimating the third of four competitors in that match, Queen Melody, in tonight’s semi-main.
El Pablo: I imagine it would…but, with so long to go between now and WrestleFest, any physical wounds inflicted here tonight are likely to have more-or-less healed by the time we get to the grand finale - and, to be honest, I’d hate to give people another technicality to try and wield against me.
Spade: What do you mean?
El Pablo: I’ve heard the whispers…certainly the ones said right to my face…the idea that I only won the Meltdown in Mexico because my uncle Villano commanded Xavier to take the fall; that I only won the Insanity Cage because Narumi Tsutsumi wasn’t involved; that I only defeated King Flip at the Rumble because Tanja Devereaux interfered on my behalf. I’m sure there’ll be people saying that my victory over Dio at the Paramount finale doesn’t ‘really’ count either because I didn’t pin or make him submit - and, y’know, people can think what they want…but at WrestleFest XX…all those technicalities go out the window. Arguably the four top singles stars in the company this season - with the greatest of respect to the likes of Flip, Narumi and Marcu$ $t. John - going one-on-one…on-one…on-one…for the richest prize in the game. This match - perhaps more than any other WrestleFest main event in recent memory - is gonna show who, truly, gets to call themselves The Best of the Best™ - no ifs, buts or candy-coated macadamia nuts - and, so, whatever happens here tonight, I just wanna let Her Majesty know that I will indeed be watching…that I hope that, over the next few weeks to come, she and Lavender and Killjoy Ito are able to get themselves ready…because on December 19th - the final day of WrestleFest XX - the Rainbowlution will be waiting.
With that, the Tecnico departs, leaving Spade alone with his thoughts for a moment before the screen cuts to the next segment.
The camera cuts to the ring where we find Brian Spade standing near a table that has been set up in the ring. Chairs surround the table with two chairs on each side of the table and one at the head of the table. The fans inside Madison Square Garden can sense something BIG is about to be announced as Brian Spade smiles.
B. Spade: Ladies and gentlemen, I am Brian Spade and I have been tasked with making a special announcement concerning WrestleFest and without further ado I’d like to invited the EWC Tag Team Champions of the World, Xavier Reid and Jamie Love…The Bastards to the ring at this time!!!
‘For The Glory’ plays out as the Rampage fans look up at the stage as ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks out onto the stage to a mixed reaction from the New York crowd. He smirks as he turns and points ‘The Love Stick’ towards the curtain as his son ‘The Love Child’ Jamie Love walks out onto the stage, his Tag Team Championship around his waist and is followed by his ‘Bastard’ Brother Xavier Reid, who has his Tag Team Championship over his shoulder. The New York crowd pops a little louder for The Bastards as they join Tommy Love and the trio walks towards the ring.
KD: The EWC Tag Team Champions are here in The World’s Most Famous Arena!!!
P-Dug: Yeah Yeah, it’s about time if you ask me…we’ve seen them on Brawl and Paramount, it’s nice that they FINALLY got around to coming to Friday Night Rampage!!!
Tommy, Jamie and Xavier reach ringside and one by one they enter the ring and look at Brian who smiles at them.
B. Spade: Welcome to Rampage gentlemen, as you and all these people know WrestleFest is a little more than a month away and as we saw on Brawl our GM’s are busy making matches to fill out the four days and here tonight I have the privilege to announce the match for the EWC Tag Team Championship and signing the contract to make it official, so if you would please take a seat…
As Brian starts to motions to the one side of the table Tommy Love reaches out and holds up his hand, pulling one, two and three microphones of his own out of his jacket, he hands one to Jamie and then to Xavier before lifting his own to his mouth.
T. Love: Easier there sport, we didn’t come all the way to Rampage to ‘just take a seat’...
J. Love: You really are an idiot dad, did you forget that I'm here every episode…Rampage is my home after all!!!
This draw a cheer from the Rampage fans as Jamie smirks at his father
T. Love: I know you pulled us out here to announce a match that EVERYONE already knows is going to take place at WrestleFest but before we bring out our opponents and make it ‘official’ we are going to take a moment and address a few things…
X. Reid: We understood that when we lost to King Dong at Brawl #588 that they were going to be named the #1 Contenders for these tag team championships…
J. Love: Basically paving the way for them to challenge us for them…
X. Reid: We are honestly shocked it’s taken them so long to finally get around to taking this match and also that the EWC didn’t make this match sooner…
J. Love: Well it’s not like King Flip and Dio have been focused on tag team wrestling of late have they…I mean King Flip had his International Championship to defend and Dio was busy chasing El Pablo…
X. Reid: But they have FINALLY gotten around to taking this match and honestly we’ve been waiting for this, a chance to get our hands on King Dong again inside a ring in a tag team match…
J. Love: A chance for redemption…to right that wrong that happened Night 2 of the BrawlYmpics…because it’s fucking pissed us off that our first loss was to those two…
X: Reid: See, this is personal for us…we chased these championships for damn near a year and we aren’t just going to hand them over just because Flip and Dio fancy themselves a tag team these days…
J. Love: FUCK THAT!!! I spent the last two fucking years of my life going after this championship and it's not going anywhere. Dio, Flip if you two want these championships you're going to have to kill me because the only way you're walking out champions is with me not breathing.
As Jamie unhooks his championship ‘When You’re Evil’ plays out… Xavier smirks as he taps Jamie on the shoulder and motions for them to take a seat at the table.
B. Spade: And it is at this time that I introduce–
K I N G D O N G flies right to left across the tron, followed by a massive red pyrotechnic across the stage and a sea of jeers from the crowd. Dio and King Flip come out through the curtain almost simultaneously. Both men decked to the nines in expertly tailored red suits. The audience is having none of it, booing the tag team from Brawl like they just kicked some babies. Flip rubs his wrist cast with a smile on his face as Dio makes it a point to stare down Jamie Love in the ring. Iggy Swango and Chanel aren’t far behind, emerging one after the other through the curtain as King Dong slowly make their way down the ramp. Iggy gets a big pop from the green brand, bringing a slight smile to her face as she lowers her shades to them for a moment.
B. Spade: Ladies and gentlemen, your number one contenders to the World’s tag team championships – accompanied to the ring by both Iggy Swango and Chanel. King Flip, Dio. It’s King DONG!
Flip sits on the second rope, ushering his tag partner into the ring and motioning for Chanel to stay ringside. Dio leans over the rope, giving Iggy an inaudible request before she nods and trots off to Chanel’s side. Dio and Spade shake hands before the employee hands Dio a microphone. Spade moves on to Flip and both men look at the Brawl red cast over Flip’s right hand. The King shrugs and fist bumps Spade with his left hand before being handed a microphone. Flip goes right in with a slam of his right fist into the table across from the tag champions.
King Flip: Well well, gentlemen. You certainly love to hear the sounds of your own voices, don’t you? All these contrived notions and baited speech about so much… yet also so little. As men I’ve bested more times than either of you’d like to admit, I expect a little more substance. Please work on that. Dio, say something philosophical you inscrutably sexy fuck.
The crowd gives a mixed reaction. Chanel appears visibly embarrassed at Flip’s words. This gets a laugh from Iggy as she claps in approval. Flip looks out to the crowd, non-verbally challenging them to disagree with him in any way. He flexes the fingers of his right hands several times over as he looks over to Dio. The Philosopher hasn’t taken his eyes from Jamie Love for even a blink.
Dio: That’s a lot of talk out of you Jamie about Flip and I, when your tag team partner just spent Brawl screaming about the International title himself… but you’re right, we haven’t put a focus on us competing as a tag team. Should we start taking our pointers from you boys? I’m sure Southern Express would love another win. Damage Inc? Maybe we can go to Paramount and lay down for Next Level or some incarnation of the Shinijoshi? I wouldn’t go out flaunting the fact that you’ve done nothing but lose since you won those championships. Be glad we’ve been busy since the Brawlympics. It’s given you the longest title reign you’ll ever have.
Flip had been pacing to and fro while Dio spoke. As Dio finishes, Flip leaps in front of him and yells at the top of his lungs as he’s leaned over the table between the two teams.
King Flip: WE. ARE. FUCKING. BETTER THAN YOU! You’ve both hopped more partners than Tommy Love and you think for a second that, just because we’ve come up faster than you ever could’ve in your wettest dreams, this magically means we should still be fighting shitlords like S.T. and Narumi TsutBOOme plus one? I’ve already taken one championship from you this year, Reidy Boy, and your boy’s about to make it two with Dio as the fastest tag team to go from contract to champion in recent memory.
Visibly exhausted with the King's tirade Xavier grabs the lapels of his red tailored jacket and tries to physically pull Flip the rest of the way over the table. Now completely furious Flip knocks the man's hands away before tossing the table to the side so that there is now no barrier left between the two teams. Flip and Xavier bump foreheads like a pair of battling rams while Dio takes a step back in an attempt to let cooler heads prevail. Jamie Love closes the distance, stabbing an angry, accusing finger into the center of Dio's chest. Annoyed by the unwelcome contact Dio grabs his wrist and pulls him in. All four men stand nose to nose, each team jawing and jostling for the upper hand. As the crowd shouts encouragement to escalate the scene Brian Spade nervously tries to calm the growing tensions to keep the confrontation from going completely off the rails.
With everyone in the ring distracted they fail to notice a ruckus along the rail as the crowd parts to allow two men to vault over the steel barrier along the entrance ramp. Grabbing chairs from the ringside area Malice and Mayhem quickly rush the ring. Iggy Swango yells a warning meant for Dio and Flip but because she is shouting above the crowd her words aren't heard in time to save her allies from Damage Inc's blind side assault.
Flip and Dio take two stiff shots from the pair of steel chairs that causes them to pitch forward into Xavier and Jamie. All four men are caught off guard and knocked off balance. Xavier and Jamie roll out of the ring and back up the ramp to better assess this new situation. At ringside Chanel is distraught as an irate Iggy shouts to distract the attackers as Dio helps King Flip out under the bottom rope. A furious Flip has to be restrained from rolling back in to take the fight to Malice and Mayhem, who now hold the high ground in the center of the ring. Malice looks around and sees Brian Spade sheltering in the corner. He snatches the microphone out of the announcer's hand and taps the top with an audible pop to make sure that it still works.
Malice: Standing back there we just heard an awful lot of blah blah and bullshit from guys each calling themselves the best tag team in the EWC. But we don't see any tag teams out here. We see four random singles who think they can pair up part time to play around in the tag team division. There's only ONE real team out here and they're the pair standing in this ring right now.
Mayhem takes the microphone from his partner.
Mayhem: Flip, you've got a good point when you say that Xavier and Jamie have hopped more partners than Tommy Love. But isn't that kinda like a hooker insulting a call girl for being a whore? It's not like you haven't had your share of partners in the past. Maybe Dio should ask Jack Severn how that worked out for him. But Dio's right. We would LOVE another win to add to our collection. We'd be more than happy to put King Dong up on our trophy shelf right next to The Bastards and The Southern Express.
Malice takes back the mic.
Malice: IN FACT if the champs there had had the balls to put up the belts when we faced a few weeks ago WE would be the ones standing here with those titles on our shoulders and WE'D be the ones facing King Dong at Wrestlefest. WE"RE TIRED of being left out of the picture. We're one of the only REAL tag teams in this damn division and we demand our respect! So if the EWC isn't going to give us what we've earned by god we're gonna TAKE IT!
The crowd goes crazy as Xavier and Jamie start to advance back down the ramp as Malice and Mayhem wave them on. At ringside Flip and Dio realize that they are trapped between The Bastards and Damage Incorporated. They go back to back preparing to be attacked from both sides. But before a riot can break out Grizzly Duggan's music hits on the P.A. Duggan walks down the ramp and raises his microphone

It will be a Triple Threat World Tag Team Championship Match! And The Bastards get to pick the stipulation to be announced on PRIME!

MATCH FIVE
"Headhuntress" Aiya VS Ruthann Hunter VS Salvation
Triple Threat - No DQ - Winner Receives An All Expenses Paid Two Week Trip To Hawaii Over The Break, Including Staying At The Five-Star Halekulani Hotel. May Bring Up To Three Friends
REF: Mike Michaelson
We return to ringside and cut to the booth.
KD: This next match should be a lot of fun, a no DQ triple threat with a Hall Of Famer known for her brutality, an aspiring hardcore legend and a man seeking Salvation at any means!
P-Dug: I expect a good triple threat.
Chriqui: The following match, set for one fall, is a Triple Threat Match with the winner receiving an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii. Introducing first coming to the ring from Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 137 pounds, she is one of the Shinijoshi .... ”HEADHUNTRESS” AIYA!!!
As “Killer” by JJ Lin plays over the PA system, a fog appears near the curtains. As it slowly fades away, we see the form of “Headhuntress” Aiya standing at the top of the ramp. She saunters down, entering the ring through the middle and top ropes. Aiya then leans against the ring, already looking as if she’s making a game plan in her head whilst waiting for her opponent to enter the ring.
Chriqui: And the opponents, first from the Mystic River and weighing in at 285 pounds, he is... SALVATION!!!
Falling Away from Me by Korn erupts throughout the speakers as Salvation walks onto the stage. Salvation smiles wide, waving to the crowd as he makes his way out. Stopping halfway onto the stage, and turning, pointing with his Walking stick to Sienna Wolf making her way onto the stage. Salvation turns back to the fans throwing "Spock Signs" to the crowd with one hand, raising his walking stick with the other, then starts to jog down the aisle, high-fiving fans. Sienna follows down the ramp, also exchanging high fives and fist bumps along the barricade then stops at the ring. Salvation makes a loop around the ring, exchanging fist bumps and high-fives before sliding under the ropes and into the ring. He bounces off the ropes and few times before heading to his corner, handing over his walking stick to Sienna Wolf, then starts stretching.
Chriqui: And finally, residing in San Francisco, California and weighing in at 200 pounds... RUTHANN HUNTER!!!
Centuries by Fall Out Boys came on over the speakers as smoke filled the top of the X Tron as she step out of the smoke. She takes in the crowd with a bit of a smirk walking down the ramp along with Rose Lee playing to them a bit before climbing in. She walk over to the side take off her jacket and hand over to the person testing the ropes getting ready.

P-Dug: They may not get to sun themselves but I’m sure Salvation and Aiya will spend the winter break working hard. This could be the making of them next season.
The X-Tron flickers to life. The crowd pops as they recognize the face that appears despite having cut her hair recently and looking a bit different. The Titaness waves, smiling as she soaks in the reaction. Chants of "PLEASE COME BACK!" "WE MISS YOU!" and even "TITANESS! TITANESS!" cry out as she raises a hand with a smile on her face and addresses the crowd.
Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton: This is definitely one of the parts I've really missed. You guys. You all make stepping through the ropes very much worth it. I would have been here in person, but ...
The camera tilts slightly, allowing everyone to see a baby monitor nearby Sam. It's on and shows both Lio and Joseph rocking the twins to sleep. The cheers shift to "Awwwww"'s as Sam turns the monitor away after a few moments.
Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton: They both arrived early in the morning on October 22nd. They'll be two weeks old come tomorrow. As much as I love my children, that isn't quite the main reason I'm here ... though it does involve them in some respects.
Sam leans closer as a more stern look appears on her face.
Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton: The point I'm getting at is this. Long before I even conceived them, I promised to consider taking the entire first year off from wrestling. And now that I've gotten a glimpse of motherhood? I'm going to keep that vow.
Some of the audience tries to protest. Others reply in understanding her verdict. Sam flashes them all a small smile.
Samantha "The Titaness" Hamilton: Don't get it twisted. I absolutely do miss being in the ring. But as of now? They are my number one priority, and they'll need me for the first whole year. We're working on figuring this all out. That said ... I had a long talk with both my husbands and they agreed ... that 2024 seems like a good year to return. Rest assured, I may not have made many appearances this season, but I absolutely have watched from afar. I've been watching each and every brand, but especially my home known as Rampage. I can promise you all that when I return? It won't include nearly as much ring rust as some of you may hope.
Sam flashes a sly wink before the X-Tron shuts off. The crowd cheers at the announcement. The camera pans out at the audience a few moments before it fades / we now return to .. etc

We return to ringside and cut to the commentary booth

P-Dug: This will be an excellent affair.
Chriqui: The following match is set for one fall with the winner to receive a 1.5% equity In Netflix!
The spotlights inside the arena start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out
Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage in his new black trunk, kickpads and boots, his hands wrapped in black tape and from behind him ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love walks out. He walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X in front of his chest and smirks as Tommy walks out from behind him and acts as if he’s going to hit the camera with the ‘Love Stick’. Tommy points to the ring and Xavier walks towards the ring shadow boxing as he makes his way down the aisle. Xavier storms up the steps and climbs into the ring, Tommy follows suit and walks towards the referee, already complaining about something. Xavier storms across the ring to the opposite corner and jumps to the middle rope and looks over the crowd and once again crosses his arms into an X as Tommy pulls out some money and tries to bribe the official who walks away as Tommy laughs. Xavier jumps down and squats down in the corner waiting for the bell.
Chriqui: Being accompanied to the ring by 'The Memphis Mouthpiece' Tommy Love, from New York, weighing in at 220 pounds ... XAVIER REID

KD: Just call him The Sandman because Melody Malone put him to sleep here on Rampage. I wonder what she'll do with her 1.5%?
P-Dug: Two Titans of the company clashed here. One was victorious and will Glow but that's not to say Xavier Reid was at fault. He'll come back like The Bastard Son Of The Devil Himself in the new season.
KD: Don't go anywhere folks, because we are rolling right into our main event.
On the X-Tron, while staff and members of the EWC were prepping for Rampage, a pretape from earlier in the day shows that Narumi Tsutsumi was peacefully prancing about observing their work. She politely greeted people as she passed them by but had her usual chaotic aura around her as some gave her curious looks wondering why she was around on Rampage. However, she paid their concerns no mind as she kept her playful oni smile on while holding the Indy Championship over her shoulder as Brian Spade approached her.
Spade: Ms Tsutsumi, it’s always great to have visiting champions on their best behaviour outside of invasion season, especially ones who are on a special run such as yours. But I have to ask what you’re still doing in New York, it’s unusual for you to stick around away from your next place to perform. Let alone getting an appointment for an interview on another brand in the city you finished your business in, does Miami not suit you?
Narumi: Actually, Miami is my favourite city in all of the West! My cousin and basically my inlaws live there, I’d normally love to be there. But silly you, Aiya and Megumi are still here and will perform tonight! I’m here to support them in their fights for gold and taking down an EWC hall of famer, and I couldn’t go off without my partner for my tag match with the Southern Express on Prime.
Spade makes a semi overwhelmed semi impressed expression as he figures out Narumi’s game plan.
Spade: So since your friends are here and you have free time while they’re getting ready, you’ll use this coincidence to advertise Prime on our show?
Narumi: Hey, after all, the brands in the EWC make up one company! In all fairness too, I had watched Paramount and overheard a favourite of mine, El Pablo! He detailed the history of EWC championship lengths with me involved. If he’s right, and I do trust him since he's an entertaining and accurate source of information I like to study, it means at the very least by Wrestlefest, I’ll be or already am the fifth longest reigning champion in the entire history of the EWC that stems back all the way to 1997! El Pablo's the fourth longest reigning of course, that’s all splendid! Being fifth is just another thing to celebrate on Prime’s grand finale party, though with my championship reign my main concern was always my defences! See length is fantastic and all, I'm proud to reach over a year obviously, but breaks, bi weekly and weekly eras, and many things complicate the true scope of what a lengthy reign means. Because when I was listening what I heard most loudly was that my fifth longest reign managed to collect more defences than others have had despite having a longer time than me to do the work I've done! I’m tied for number two defences in all EWC history! The first being a Broadcast title reign, which is not the top title of a brand, also means that I’m actually tied for the most dominant reign on top of a brand in EWC history! Actually, when I think of it, that record I tied is from Rampage’s very own volcano king, so it’s fitting I’m here to tell you all I plan on having a mini celebration for Prime, myself, and Shinijoshi on our finale!
Spade: You keep implying there’s going to be some kind of party on Prime?
Narumi’s playful smile goes full Cheshire cat as she rubs the Indy Championship.
Narumi: Yes! See, every Indy Champion in the history of Prime was celebrated or celebrated our grand Prime 100, except for me. Because Malone and Jack had made that time a very miserable time for me. I always felt bad I was mopping around that show and then got attacked by the House instead of taking part helping celebrate Prime’s great accomplishments. I thought about doing my part and having parties on other Prime’s after, but The House was too dangerous for me to in good conscience have people have their guard down when The House could strike at any moment. But now that Shinijoshi won WarGames and I beat Jack, I know they’ll think twice about ruining this Prime for me. Plus, it’s a finale! On a night we might get a new GM on top of it! Who knows what will happen on my wild oni island, Onigashima Prime! And now The Indy Championship is the first top brand title to reach the record the US Championship held in its prestige this entire time! So be sure to tune in on Prime, Sunday night on Showtime for a little fun and a possible surprise one-time guest!
Narumi does a traditional bow, with a cutesy hyper twist, towards Brian Spade, then she waves at the camera and prances away with her Indy Championship.

Ace King Lavender
We return to ringside where the show is ready to climax, the crowd noise causing the Garden to vibrate, perspiration beading on the air as 20,000 human lungs vent themselves in excitement and anticipation.
KD: It's been a hell of a season, and we are about to close it out in style! It's been three long years since the United States Championship was defended over seven hundred and seventy seven days by the man, the myth, the living legend ACE KING. And that man has never been too far away from title contention, rise or fall he's been just a few steps away, reminding everybody...
P-Dug: That he's the pompous sadsack to beat! How many more times have we gotta hear about 777? I'm sick of it, and I'd be willing to bet Lavender is, too. We've heard all year how much this title means to her, and now she's putting it to the ultimate test, with the ultimate prize; shutting up Ace freaking King, and ALSO scoring some sweet land in Montana! Think of the cattle she could raise, bro!
Chriqui: The following match is for one fall, and is for the EWC United States Championship.
"THE ACE OF SPADES! THE ACE OF SPADES!!!"
The signature Motorhead anthem rips through Madison Square Garden, and the crowd starts cheering. As the drums kick in, pyro goes off up and down the ramp. Once the guitars hit, a plume of fire goes up on either side of the ramp as Ace King rises to the stage from a platform, looking out at the crowd and nodding in appreciation.
Chriqui: Making his way to the ring, FROM Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at two hundred and thirty five pounds... THE GAMBLER... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGG!!!
A thin smile crosses Ace's face as his weathered eyes look out at the crowd, pausing for a few more seconds on the platform before casually making his way down the ramp toward the ring, his arms outstretched for fans on either side of the barricade. He stops a few steps short of the ring, then dives in under the bottom rope as red pyro explodes off each turnbuckle. Ace spins up to one knee, then takes another appreciative look out at the crowd before getting back to his feet and turning his attention to the entrance ramp, his game face firmly on.
KD: What more can I say about this man? We've had our concerns about Ace during this past season, but he knows how to bring that big match mentality, and he's an unmistakable threat to anyone he takes seriously.
P-Dug: I've talked my trash about the Gambler, but you can bet both our asses he's taking this one very seriously.
Chriqui: And his opponent, from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at one hundred and thirty two pounds... she is the EWC United States Champion... AND the EWC Undisputed Champion... LAVENDER!!!
The lights go out as 'Challenge' by Cellar Darling begins to play. The lights flash in time to the intro until the first vocals hit. As the vocals hit smoke billows from behind the curtains and a spotlight shines down upon the center of the stage. The lights come back on shortly afterward and out walks Lavender, a title gleaming across each shoulder. She looks out across the crowd as the crowd erupts into cheer. A smile creeps across her face as she embraces their warm welcome.
Lavender begins to make her way down to the ring with a calm and cheerful demeanor. As Lavender reaches the bottom of the ramp she walks over to the steel steps, walks up the steel stairs, and enters the ring. Lavender then climbs the nearest turnbuckle and holds her arms up high in the air to accept the warm adulation from the crowd. Lavender steps down from the turnbuckle and waits for the match to commence.
KD: What a season it's been for the silent princess, who finds herself very much seen and heard as she steps out under these bright lights carrying the present and future of our brand and company upon her shoulders.
P-Dug: Hell yeah! From the Hellevator to the B.O.R.T, from thrashing Narumi Tsutsumi back to her precious outlaw mud show, and now unseating Melody Malone, there's almost nothing Lavender hasn't done this season. Except for beat that man, standing right in front of her.
DING DING DING
Electricity practically arcs through the air as the two competitors take a step toward one another, throwing up their hands and pausing, their stares remaining unbroken - eye for eye, tightened jaw for tightened jaw. There's something else in Lavender, though, a tremble of emotion as she speaks up words barely picked up by the mic as the crowd rains down thunderous chants:
"Don't disappoint me, Ace King."
She's calm, but the last syllable comes out rushed as she can't stop herself surging forward, going for a lock-up that King appears to accept, and then artfully twists into a brief arm wringer and a deft trip, sending Lavender crashing face-first to the mat. He snaps the arm and floats over, looking to dive straight into a headlock - but the double champeen is having no more of this impudence, looking positively queenly as she extricates herself, sitting up and jamming a boot into the Gambler's jaw. The foot keeps on pushing, shoving him aside and then cleaving into the back of the skull to keep him in place as she slips to her feet, straddling him, seizing the arms to apply a brisk and brutal curb stomp!
The crowd explode at this early show of brutality, as Lavender releases him and stomps a semi-circle around the ring, never once taking her eyes from the Gambler as the fans rally behind her, just pleased to see the beast she's become. Ace is quick to recover, clearly dazed but taking the opportunity to back up and catch his breath, pulling himself up in the corner and massaging his bruised jaw. He sends a slow nod toward the woman, and she responds by just charging right on in to - WHAM! Get slammed in the midsection by the Gambler's hard shoulder! He cleaves right on through, spinning her around and seizing her to powerbomb her against the turnbuckle - the ring still shaking as he rushes in to stomp a mudhole through the champion, answering her call for violence with more of the same, veins popping in his neck as he drives her down.
He follows up with a brace of punches, but the second is blocked by a raised arm, hair wild around Lavender's face as she sucks in a breath and pushes herself right to her feet, shooting in for a rapid suplex that the much older man counters with a wild twist in mid-air, hurtling over the top rope to land on the apron and erupt with a high kick that staggers his opponent. Placing both hands on the rope, he slingshots himself over into a big front dropkick that sends her sprawling...
The crowd erupts, and three people in the front row hold up cards that read '7-7-7'.
KD: King and his fans both reminding us what we should never, ever forget! This is a dangerous man.
P-Dug: Yeah, but he's gotta watch that ego. The bigger and heavier it gets, the easier it's gonna be to keep him down.
Despite a rough landing, Lavender is up quickly, shaking off the cobwebs with a single thrash of her head, long hair flying as she sprints at the opposite set of ropes and comes raging back at Ace King - who's ready for her, rolling beneath her legs and popping up to hit the still-twitching ropes himself, flying back in to take her down with an emphatic sling blade! Lavender tumbles, but her outflung arm is caught and she's YANKED back toward Ace King, who bundles her up tight for an early cover...

KICKOUT!
Lavender doesn't just kick out, she flips King clean over her, returning the favor by seizing his arm and dragging him into a Fujiwara armbar that reaches full extension at frightening speed, her contingent now lifting the rafters with noise as she sits back into the hold. King cuts off a scream by gritting his teeth, and starts to muscle out of the hold, his arm contorting visibly as tends are strained close to snapping. He kicks and twists, using his greater size and power to force them both toward the ropes, making the break as Lavender refuses to let go. She doesn't even seem gassed; ROLLING out of the hold to her feet, stamping right in at King, who is barely upright when he's forced to apply a swift back body drop to dispose of the champion. She hurtles over the top rope, but just lands on her feet - snapping out an echo of King's own kick, apparently keen to prove she can do everything he can do and then some. King ducks it, and shoulder rams her off the apron!
Lavender lands on her knees, breathing hard and staring defiantly at the Gambler as he rallies the fans behind him and then takes off at a run, looking for a suicide dive that's surely telegraphed-- and indeed, the champion is ready to counter, when King catches the middle rope and swings right on back into the ring, a cheeky smile on his lips that's probably one of the best things the fans have seen in months.
P-Dug: Is... is Ace King enjoying himself out there?
Lavender staggers as she curtails whatever counter she had planned, and a second later Ace King's own plan transpires; all that momentum from the swing is gathered up and used to toss him into an explosive moonsault, crashing down atop the woman and driving the pair of them into the unforgiving floor outside the ring! Ace bounces off of her, and into the floor once more, in his haste to try and stand straight from the ugly collision, ending up sprawled across the barricade as Lavender tries to get up onto all fours and fails the first time, audibly growling as she tries again and succeeds, staggering upright, her hair a mess and apparently out on her feet.
Ace pauses to accept words of encouragement from a fan, then turns to capitalize on the stumbling champ, only to eat a frantic kick to the gut. He doubles over, but Lavender falls back a couple of paces, and when she comes on again King has straightened up. He shoots for a DDT, but she blocks it and reverses, flipping up onto his shoulders and then bringing him down with a similar maneuver, King driven so firmly by the head that his entire body is vertical for a long moment before he crashes down onto the mats. Lavender sits up, pushing the hair from her face and staring up at the lights before she starts to pull her opponent up with her...
The count hits eight. Shaking her head, Lavender rolls Ace beneath the bottom rope and follows him back in, picking him up a second time to hit an AMITY AFFLICTION that briefly causes all noise through Madison Square Garden to cease! Ace King lands HARD, and she covers him!

KICKOUT!
P-Dug: Oh my God! I thought she'd won it! We all thought she'd won it!
KD: Then you're an idiot; it took three to put away Malone. Come on, man.
The commentators are almost drowned out by the crowd, as Lavender yells in disbelief and rolls away from Ace King, getting onto all fours and staring him down as she slowly rises. "Get up, get up, get up," she's muttering, frantically, her calm lost as the Gambler takes his sweet-ass time, watching her warily and nodding his head in what may just be approval. It was a big move, expertly-landed, and if she hadn't earned his respect before... the energy in the air grows even tighter, as the two competitors stand, stare, step in to lock up.
Hip toss! Ace King takes her down, tries to spin into a FULL HOUSE kick to decapitate her as she bumps back to her feet, but Lavender has it scouted and falls against the ropes to avoid it, bouncing back to hit a Japanese arm drag, trying to maintain the arm lock only to get stacked up and mounted by the larger man! He takes a breath and looks to start raining down bombs, but she bucks her hips, spins out, hunts for the arm again, and is forced to relinquish the ground, standing up along with him to compromise with an arm wringer. Snapping a kick into the elbow joint, she twists out into a hammerlock and then drives him toward the corner, but he gets a foot up and PUSHES BACK...
Lavender stumbles, and Ace reverses position, wrenching his arm free and in the same rapid motion ensnaring Lavender, pulling her into a spinal wipe and then an STO against the very turnbuckle she was aiming for! BIG SLICK!! Her skull bounces off it, and she slumps down, only to get yoinked gamely up across the shoulders of Big Match Ace. He keeps her in the torture rack as he points with one arm out into the crowd. They oblige with a big call of, "SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN!" And he steps out into the center, wracking her against his brawny shoulders, setting her up--
--for the BLACKJACK BOMB! She's driven into the canvas, ragdolling on impact, bundled up by King, who keeps one arm free to punch the count, the crowd chanting along with him as they're caught up in the moment.

KICKOUT!!
KD: An eye for an eye, and defiant spit in both of them! I'm losing it! Just like the Gambler, Lavender refuses to go down.
P-Dug: HAHAHA! Phrasing!
Both competitors are up and just slugging it out, Ace with the upper hand after delivering his own big finish, each blow seeming to land twice as hard on the smaller woman - who's staying up out of sheer grit and determination, staggering back into a strike of her own, going low then high, trying to keep the Gambler guessing. But he's here to fight, and he's taking everything she can dish out, returning fire with rough shots to the midsection and chest. Finally, he winds up for a huge savate kick that LAUNCHES Lavender once more into the corner. She crashes backfirst, still refusing to simply drop as she winds an arm through each rope and lifts her chin defiantly, expression glazed as she stares Ace King down, then extricates a single hand to beckon him on.
She doesn't have to ask; he's already coming, darting forward and catching her still stunned, with a high-angle monkey flip that sends her crashing overhead-- and back down onto her feet!? Lavender stumbles as she lands, but the crowd lose their minds as she somehow stays standing, and Ace King straightens up and pulls a little something from the playbook to capitalize; swiping from his partner's playbook in fact, as he handsprings into a rolling wheel kick to the back of the skull! FURRY NINJA STRIKE! El Pablo would be proud...
If it connected, but Lavender manages to turn and block it, capturing the leg and launching Ace King across the ring with a devastating suplex! He's sent tumbling, and she's right on top of him, pulling him into a second, butterfly suplex, bridging for the cover!

KICKOUT!
It's near-enough to a near fall, but neither of them is slowing down. Ace twists out, uncomfortably twisting his opponent with him, her hold released as she's forced to crash down shoulders-first, legs going up-- where they're caught by the Gambler, who tries to pull her up into a standing inverted cloverleaf! She's fighting the House of Cards with all her will, getting her hands on the floor and dragging one over the other toward the ropes, at least succeeding in unbalancing Ace, who tries to hold on as he's forced to a knee - but it's enough to get a break for the champion, who secures a hold on the ropes and then twists out, aiming a kick at his jaw as one leg rips free.
Waving Toyo Yasahiro aside, Lavender scrambles to shoot for a double-leg, King drunkenly sprawling to stop it, but finding himself unable to force Lavender to turtle up as she instead shoves against him and straightens up, driving a knee into his midsection and managing to plant him with a beautiful Michinoku Driver! She goes for the cover, but Ace muscles out instantly, and tries to wriggle away. Improvising, the champion manages to grab a leg and apply an ankle lock, but King throws himself into an enziguri instead! It lands like a gunshot!
P-Dug: We're at that stage in the match where we have to start asking, what's it going to take?
KD: I reckon Ace King's got an idea or two in that regard.
Indeed, Lavender has refused to go down again but she's limp and unable to resist as Ace King floats around behind and hoists her onto his shoulders, drawing a shuddering breath as he turns with the US and Undisputed Champion held up to the heavens, her pupils huge in their sockets as the roars of the crowd wash over her. There's perhaps an uncertain moment as the Gambler digs deep into his repertoire, and reaches up with one arm to pull the woman forward into a move he so rarely uses - the POCKET ACES!!
N-NO!! As he falls forward, she comes alive, rolling off to one side, crashing heavily down as Ace King tries to sit out despite not getting all of it - his own momentum too much to stop, but only giving Lavender more ammunition as she captures his single arm, and flips him onto his side, saliva flecking on her lips as she twists right on into that armbar! Ace King is in trouble!
But before Yasahiro can even ask, the shoulder pops out, and with obvious pain on his features, King pulls his arm back and drives at Lavender before she can make it off her back, trying to simply rip her up into his clutches - looking for another powerbomb, or right back into position for a second Blackjack Bomb. CRACK! Instead, she gets both knees up, and drives them into his jaw, seizing the back of his head, pulling him down so he's turtled in front of her, hunting for the FRAGILE SERENE... but it's Ace's turn to be tougher than pigskin, weathering the hold for a painful moment then SCREAMING as he pulls Lavender up and over, surging to his feet to drop her with a modified Samoan drop, the collision shaking the entire ring and sending her tumbling away as she loses control over the bucking bronco.
She's on her feet a moment later, but then Ace is hitting her right in the midsection, PLOWING her against the corner post. Her skull bounces off it again, and he steps back, whirring into another Full House kick that sends her sprawling. The Gambler steps in, heaving in a breath, looking shattered from the tribulations of the match as he pulls her up onto the turnbuckle--
--and is immediately grabbed by the face and hurled away, looking shocked as he stumbles back from the champ. Her eyes are narrowed, as she straightens with an easy grace, and with little time to play the crowd gets a MASSIVE delayed reaction as she arcs down from the heavens...
Somersaulting into a cutter that turns her opponent inside out! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!?
There's both shock and pain as Ace King crashes down, a boot flung over the bottom rope in instinctive desperation to stave off the inevitable as he flops to a standstill on the canvas. Lavender stumbles to her feet, taking a painful moment to get her bearings as Madison Square Garden shudders and shakes from the shouts and stomps of the crowd, urging her on, urging her to make the pin. She dives forward, covers him...

And doesn't notice the boot on the bottom rope. Toyo Yasahiro does, and pulls away, swiping his arms in the negative. Lavender is dismayed, confused, turns to question the decision, and in the process turns her back to a recovering Ace King. The fans are clamoring, sensing the end.
At the front of the crowd, a well-muscled figure vaults the barricade, and pulls back the hood of their sleeveless jacket. King doesn't see it, because he's pulling himself back onto the turnbuckle, shaking all over, but crouched and poised, ready to dive the instant Lavender turns.
He goes for the dive, and a calloused hand reaches up, rips a foot from under him. Ace King sprawls in mid-air, lands on one knee, stumbles upright-- right into a powerful, instinctive AMITY AFFLICTION! Up and over he goes, CRASHING down. Shock descends on Madison Square Garden as Lavender bundles the Gambler, perhaps the greatest United States champion of all time, into a snug lateral press.

Chriqui: And your winner, via pinfall ... LAVENDER!!!
She's been through hell, after hell, after hell, and Lavender once again flies to her feet as the victor, the confusion on her face easing with each passing triumph, but she looks no less rattled by the war she's been through. Wars take their toll, and as she turns to have her arm raised, as she clutches to her chest and then holds aloft the title that changed everything, that brought her to the very pinnacle of greatness, she looks across the ring - over the fallen form of Ace King - and sees the man who just did his part in keeping her where she stands, on top and completely alone. Every single glimmer of gold on Rampage locks eyes.
The HBO Champion, Moxie, stands at the top of the ring steps, scowling as he slow-claps the efforts of the reigning US Champion.
KD: WHAT! Moxie! Moxie showed his very literal hand and conspired to undo Ace King at the last possible second! I'm shocked, I'm appalled, but I... I've got goosebumps all over. This is how our season ends! This is gigantic!
P-Dug: Ohhhh HELL yeah, enormous! Moxie knows where he belongs, and he knows that the next part of that puzzle is twisting and breaking every 'fragile serene' bone in that woman's body. We've been talking about Lavender's big comeback season... maybe it's time for Moxie's.
KD: Wait. I am getting word right now from Grizzly Duggan. Two more matches have been set for WrestleFest! Grizzly Duggan Vs Phoenix Winterborn in an I Quit match, and Lavender defending her EWC United States Championship against Moxie... AND ACE KING!
P-Dug: OH MY! Two GIANT matches announced, and then we had that giant World Tag Team Championship Match announced earlier. WrestleFest is going to be insane!
