The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #600 in Las Vegas.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, and Ruthless Aggression, all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, with a focus on the men and women who have been a part of the red brand who have held the illustrious title including Sour Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and ending with our newest champion after a hellacious run in the EWC RUMBLE XX...Xavier Reid.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, King Flip, KU, Antoni Malietoa, Stitches, Melinda Rhodes, Darius, Dio, JoJo Rush, Bathsheba, S.T., Alex "Bullet" Carbajal, Chelsea Skye, Zack Tyler, Elissa Bradley, Alexander Umbra, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:
Caleb Scott with the FX Broadcast Championship
JoJo Rush with the EWC X-Division Championship
Xavier Reid with the EWC International Championship and the EWC Undisputed Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

Aiello: Hello everyone and welcome to Monday Night BRAWL! I'm Joe Aiello alongside EWC Hall of Famer Steve Bennett, and we are excited to see the fallout of a shocking EWC Rumble where BRAWL's own Xavier Reid won the EWC Undisputed Championship by outlasting a hotly-contested field in our Rumble main event!
Bennett: Reid's doing the red brand proud with that huge win, and we are looking ahead to what will be a chaotic couple months left in the season...but first, we have one HELL of a show tonight!
Aiello: That's right Steve, later tonight we're hearing from the new EWC Undisputed Champion, and in our main event we will find out who gets a future shot at the EWC International Championship he still holds when King Flip takes on JoJo Rush!
Bennett: Some heated words exchanged between those men in the past, and it all comes to a head tonight as the former champ takes on the EWC X-Division Champion...and as much as I can't stand the guy, I can't deny Rush has been on a tear as of late. This is gonna make for a banger of a match!
Aiello: With all this talk about championships it seems appropriate to bring out the FX Broadcast Championship IS on the line tonight, a bout that sees Alexander Umbra challenge the man who won the belt in our big battle royal in Vegas, Caleb Scott!
Bennett: There won't be several other competitors to separate these men, Joe...and this match has X-Division rules in place, which really ramps up the violence!
Aiello: Now folks, I've been given a note from the office of Jim Connors that due to...(checks)...travel complications...neither Melody Malone nor Stitches could make it to Sydney in time to compete tonight. We are expecting an update on that in the coming days, but look forward to that match happening down the line!
Bennett: I swear Joe, this has Aeon Khronos written all over it. Who else can move time and space to flat-out stop a match from happening?
Aiello: No clue Steve, but I'm sure that will be a big match at Throwback PRIME next Sunday...that said, we still have some big matches for tonight as Emmanuelle steps into the ring with the HBO Broadcast Champion, non-title action as she goes up against Cosmo Goldworthy!
Bennett: A chance for Emmanuelle to stick it to one of the newest members of The House, sounds good to me!
Aiello: Rounding out our in-ring action tonight is the Headhuntress visiting from PRIME as Aiya takes on Chelsea Skye in an X-Division match, and Vespertine coming over from RAMPAGE to take on Alex Carbajal in our opening conte--
Joe is interrupted by "Gigaslayer" blaring throughout the Sydney Showground Stadium...
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, your X-Division Champion… JOJO RUSH!!!
The stadium lights go pitch-black, the stage floods with smoke, with his patented JoJovator, JoJo raises to the stage to a chorus of boos. JoJo raises a finger gun toward the ring and fires it, which cues towers of flame to erupt along the ramp. A spotlight follows Rush while he slowly saunters towards the ring. Once in the ring, JoJo unclasps his title and raises it to a booing crowd.
Aiello: From the looks of it, the Blackhat has something to say to the EWC Universe.
Bennett: Maybe he’s here to talk about his attack on El Pablo over on Paramount 36.
Aiello: We’ll hear from him soon, and I’m hearing from the back, you don’t have to leave ringside for this.
Bennett: Thank friggin’ Christ.
A tech ringside then provides JoJo a microphone, who waits for the crowd to quiet down from booing. JoJo slowly raises the mic up to speak sternly to the hostile crowd.
JoJo: Ah figure Ah outta air all this out before Ah get to work tearin’ the Mad King apart tonight: El Pablo should’ve known better. The Technico saw what Ah did to Ruthann and then he–
JoJo appears to shake with anger. He stops himself, closes his eyes, and breathes before continuing.
JoJo: He got in between me and the Undisputed title, n’ for that? He’s goin’ to pay for it at Cristo Rey. He’s a studious man, Ah can count on ‘em watching the main event tonight where Ah crush the Mad King for the #1 Contendership for the International title.
“Maaaaaaaaaaaaad Kiiiiiiiiiing” chants break out from the Australian crowd, JoJo waits for them to tire themselves out before continuing.
JoJo: Y’all won’t get to watch Vespertine if y’all keep interruptin’ me-
The Mad King chants get louder and somehow longer. JoJo waves the crowd to silence them out, but speaks over them regardless.
JoJo: Ah want ‘em to know what’s comin’ for ‘em. Ah retired Ruthless Aggression at the Rumble, and after Ah retire The Mad King here tonight, Ah’m comin’ for Pablo’s career next. These ain’t gonna be matches or fair fights. Ah’m cullin’ the weak– the weak ain’t strong enough to carry the weight of greatness. Of bein’ a champion.
JoJo turns to the stage and nods his head.
JoJo: Cosmo, Ah want you to come on down here. Sydney needs to see what real strength looks like.
There’s some murmuring from the crowd as Cosmo Goldworthy steps out from the back, his theme music not playing. The HBO Broadcast Champion looks extremely skeptical of what JoJo wants, holding his championship tightly over his shoulder. Cosmo is clearly taken off guard, considering his boots aren’t fully tied, and he has a tanktop and black basketball shorts on.
Cosmo: What’s up?
Cosmo says that off-mic, entering the ring and stepping up to JoJo’s face. He tries his hardest to sell that he’s not bothered by what’s going on, but there’s a slight bit of worry on his face. JoJo looks Cosmo in the eyes with a cold glare, but then looks away to speak to the crowd. Pacing back and forth in front of Cosmo.
JoJo: Cosmo, you ain’t been here long, but you’ve already made a hell of an impact. Haven’t yeah? How fast did you win your first title, two-three months?
Cosmo begins to answer, but JoJo cuts him off.
JoJo: Shoot, then you, Jamie, n’ Bruce won the Trio’s Tournament. You got that-there Midas touch don’t you? Though as impressive as it is to be a champion, n’ to beat Shinijoshi, Ah think you really put yourself on the map by finishin’ in the Final Four at the Rumble. That requires strength, that requires a whole lot of cunnin’, and that requires some guts, do you agree?
Cosmo gulps. He knows where this is headed.
Cosmo: ..Of course I agree. It was my first Rumble and I made it to the Final Four with champions, straight legends in this company. But listen, c’mon. Who cares about the Rumble, right..? This is your night, JoJo! This ain’t my show, and with all due respect, dawg.. I also got a match to prepare for, ..yeah?
Cosmo awkwardly looks around. When it sits in with him that it’s only JoJo and himself in the ring, any sign of the usual smug look on his face has completely washed away. JoJo snaps, he storms up to Cosmo and butts his forehead against the HBO Broadcast Champion’s forehead, JoJo’s face turns a bright red while shouting at his Housemate.
JoJo: THAT’S THE PROBLEM, YOUNGBLOOD, YOU’RE LACKIN’ RESPECT.
JoJo shakes with anger, he pauses to puff air through his nose.
JoJo: You made a gut-call that’s way out your pay grade, n’ bcause of that, Ah’m not standin’ here the Undisputed Champion. Ah ain’t the kind of man to let that sleeping dog lie. Pablo and his blood got a taste of what’s waitin’ for him in our Texas Deathmatch, but you owe me a debt, n’ that’s the last thing you want to owe a fella like me, you understand?
Cosmo: I-I don’t follow.
Cosmo briefly trips over his words. JoJo steps over Cosmo’s words, all while glaring a hole through Cosmo.
JoJo: You and Bruce are in the damn dog house until Ah say so. Ah tell you or Bruce to jump, you jump. If Ah ask y’all to hoot, y’all better holler. Make no mistake about it, Ah’ll throw both of y’all out to the wolves myself–
JoJo steps back from Cosmo and readjusts his Stetson.
JoJo: You want out of the doghouse, you’re gonna have to earn my respect– and you’ll have get your chance to earn it– at Youngblood!
The Blackhat, still glaring, offers out his hand to Cosmo to shake on it. After some hesitation, Cosmo reaches out and shakes JoJo’s hand, the crowd cheers at the news of some House on House violence, but the cheers turn to shock when JoJo pulls Cosmo in forehead to forehead, but when Darna’s entrance music blasts over the PA system, JoJo’s stone-cold eyes turn to a thousand-yard stare at the EXT.
Aiello: What? T-that's Darna Dare's music!
Bennett: What the hell is going on?
Aiello: JoJo looks like he's seen a ghost!
All eyes remain fixed upon the rampway, though nobody - former champion or otherwise - steps through the curtain…and then, suddenly, the lights go out.
Aiello: Now what!?
Confusion abounds, an audible murmur reverberating amongst the crowd for a few moments until the lights finally go back up to reveal El Pablo perched atop a ladder set up at ringside behind the House duo, his brother Vertigo standing on the apron beneath him. As the fans explode in excitement, Pablo spits a mouthful of technicolour Skittles mist into the air. Hearing the change in crowd reaction, JoJo and Cosmo turn, just in time to see Pablo take flight, diving down on top of JoJo as Vertigo launches himself through the ropes to tackle Cosmo to the mat.
Aiello: The Silent Discotecnicos are here! And looking for revenge after what JoJo and the Heat Packers did to them last Wednesday night!
The four start trading blows back and forth, Pablo with JoJo, Cosmo with Vertigo. The HBO champ fights his way back to his feet by the ropes, before creating some separation with a well-placed headbutt to the masked bridge of his assailant's nose. On the other side of the ring, JoJo uses his power advantage to shove El Pablo aside before charging Vertigo - only for the Silent one to duck out the way, leaving JoJo to inadvertently clothesline Cosmo over the top rope to the floor. The Blackhat curses, but has no time to waste as he turns back around - into a TASTE THE RAINBOW!
Aiello: Down goes the X-Division Champion!
Pablo rips open a packet of Skittles and tosses a fistful triumphantly into his mouth before tossing the rest into the crowd as Vertigo drops to his hands and knees in front of JoJo, eyes staring a hole through the Blackhat as he groggily attempts to get back to his feet. Pablo hits the ropes, charging towards his foe and springboarding off his brother's back…for an attack that never comes, as Cosmo pulls his stablemate beneath the ropes to the outside at the last second. The two House members retreat to the ramp, obscenities being exchanged with Pablo, who promptly plucks JoJo's mic from off the canvas.
El Pablo: Hey JoJo! This is what you wanted right? This is what you told me to do while you and your boys were jumping the two of us back in Toronto - to 'look at you?' Well, I'm looking at you now, cowboy - and in nine days' time, you and I will be looking at each other, not across this ring, but across the Sierra de Cristo Rey as we prepare to fight to pro-wrestling death for that X-Division Championship!
He smirks.
El Pablo: A fitting end to this little chapter of ours, don't you think? The man who would be the new 'Messiah' of the X-Division, taking on the man who came to stand as the pinnacle of that title's Holy Trinity, in the shadow of the Son of God himself! For five-hundred-and-sixty-one days I held what you hold…hauled it from the dust and dirt of hot potato condemnation and elevated it back to heights not seen since the days of Harlow Kinsley and you - having had it in your House for a half-cup of Texas Tea by comparison - have somehow found the brass bandana to walk around declaring yourself 'The Greatest X-Division Champion of All Time!'
Well…we'll see. On October 18th, you get the chance to put your money where your mouth is. You get the chance to beat the longest-reigning X-Division Champion in EWC history at his own game and prove that you really are the 'storm' you think you are…but know this, JoJo: you may have beaten my brother to take that title belt…you may have beaten my old friend Ruthann to keep it but, next Wednesday night - on the border between old Mexico and the New…there ain't no god, old or new, that's gonna help you beat me.
You've had a taste of championship glory, JoJo - a well-deserved one, I will say - but in nine days' time, yet again…you're gonna Taste the Rainbow.
Viva La Rainbowlution.

POISON TAKES ON A BULLET!
SINGLES MATCH
Vespertine
VS Alex "Bullet" Carbajal
SINGLES MATCH
Vespertine
VS Alex "Bullet" Carbajal
We return to ringside where the crowd is still buzzing from moments ago before we get ready for our opening contest!
Aiello: We just saw a very chaotic start to BRAWL tonight, and we are all ready to go for the first match of the night as Vespertine takes on Alex Carbajal!
Bennett: This is a chance for the Bullet to get back in the title hunt, but first she has to get through Vespertine!
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, residing in New Orleans, Louisiana and weighing in at 135 pounds... ALEX ‘BULLET’ CARBAJAL!
The lights dim and the Shieldmaidens motto “Hell is empty and the Maidens are here!” comes over the Tron as guitar stabs ring out. Concrete Blonde’s “God Is A Bullet” starts up in earnest and Alex “Bullet” Carbajal makes her way out in a full length boxing robe, ready for war. She makes her way to the ring and Bullet steps in, starting to shadowbox the second she steps in. She raises her hands into the air and then nods, ready to go.
Stroup: And the opponent, residing in The Eternal Gates and weighing in at 115 pounds... VESPERTINE!
The arena lights go out. The Buddhist chanting continues and then the arena lights go black light and Vespertine comes up from below, hood up, head down, dressed in her wrestling gear. When the lift stops the buddhist chanting slowly dies down. Over the loudspeakers you hear.
Ves: You will feel...
DEATH....
by...
DIVA!
"Shepard of Fire" htits and for several minutes she looks down. Then slowly, surely, she lifts her head up and opens her eyes upon which in the black light, they are all lit up in eerie white orbs pupilless and she looks around at the audience. Then she reaches out to them as if encompassing their souls. She steps off the lift gets to the edge of the stage, looks around, then points suddenly at the ring where two streaks of lightning hit the ring coming from opposite corners of the arena. She saunters down to the ring in time to the music. She goes around to all four corners and bows to them, then goes to the ring steps, bows once more, goes up the steps and goes through the ropes, wiping her trenchcoat duster away from her body. She goes to the middle of the ring where she looks around at the audience then looks up and raises her hand in the air in the sign of a V. She suddenly brings it down whereupon blue fire pyro pillars go off at each corner. She looks around and then focuses on her opponent. She watches her opponent as she goes back to a corner where she hands her jacket to a ring techie. Then she bows her head to remove her hood and we see her eyes are once again their normal dark pupils. She prepares for the match by putting hand to fist and bowing to her opponent.
DING DING DING
Alex fires at Vespertine with a superkick that Vespertine blocks and pushes away causing Alex to spin on her feet. Alex rams a knee into Vespertine’s midsection and spins smacking Vespertine with an elbow to the jaw that sends her staggering back to the corner. Alex whips Vespertine into the opposite corner and runs in cracking Vespertine with a high knee. Alex attempts a bulldog out of the corner but Vespertine counters it shoving Alex off the ropes. Alex leapfrogs Vespertine and cracks her on the jaw with a roundhouse kick that spins her around before taking Vespertine to the mat with a side suplex. Alex attempts to apply a triangle choke but Vespertine manages to counter with a school boy. Alex rolls right out to her feet but Vespertine scoops her up with a powerslam that brings her crashing to the mat. Both get to their feet. Vespertine grabs Alex and jumps spinning Alex into shinruai. Vespertine hooks the legs.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Alex gets a shoulder off the mat breaking the count. Vespertine lifts Alex to her feet but Alex grabs her rolling Vespertine into a small package. The referee counts.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Vespertine just manages to push herself free breaking the count.
Aiello: Very nearly a three count!
Bennett: If she had held the hold a little bit tighter, it could have been over quickly. It wasn’t so now both need to rethink strategy.
Vespertine gets to her feet and boots Alex in the gut and turns her around, pulling her head back. Vespertine lifts Alex and drops her into Breaking Dawn. Alex drops to the mat where Vespertine makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Alex gets a shoulder off the mat as she rolls to her front breaking the count. Vespertine lifts Alex off the mat but Alex grabs her and cracks Vespertine with Cabacera. Vespertine crumbles to the mat where Alex makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THR… NO! KICK OUT!
Vespertine just manages to grab the bottom rope breaking the count.
Aiello: Any closer and the bell’s ringing!
Bennett: Exactly! They don’t get much closer than that!
Alex lifts Vespertine to her feet but Vespertine hits out with a double punch combo of one to the gut and one to the jaw before taking Alex to the mat with a snap DDT. Vespertine pulls Alex to her feet and grabs her arms looking for Death By Diva. Alex counters pulling Vespertine into Dios Es Una Bala. Alex makes a cover.
ONE…
TWO…
THREE!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall ALEX CARBAJAL!
Alex walks around the ring with her hands raised in victory. She climbs to the middle turnbuckle and briefly shadow boxes before jumping down and heading up the ramp.
Aiello: She seems happy and rightly so! A big win for Bullet here tonight. She saw a window and used it to hit the rolling elbow and pick up the victory.
Bennett: She got a small window but if Vespertine had connected with Death By Diva, that window would have shut and we’d be watching a Vespertine victory right now.
Aiello: With that win, I'm sure Carbajal is ready to get her eyes back on the title scene! Up next we have the Headhuntress of PRIME stepping into X-Division action as Aiya takes on Chelsea Skye!
Camera cuts to ...
The camera cuts backstage where we find Xavier Reid along with his manager, ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love talking and shaking hands with members of the Brawl staff and a few people with FX polos on. Xavier has a championship on each shoulder as he nods and is patted on the back by the members of the group as he and Tommy walk away…Tommy has a smirk on his face as they get out of earshot…
Love: Funny…the majority of these people thought I was scum just a few weeks ago and now…they want to act like my best friend…it’s amazing the 180 they do when we can now help them…
Xavier laughs as he looks at Tommy…
Reid: I’m pretty sure they all still think you’re scum and are probably running to the bathroom to wash their hands having shook yours just to make sure the ‘Tommy Stink’ doesn’t linger but yeah…I know what you mean…
Love: For months all you did was ask for your shot…damn you practically begged Brawl to fight for you…to give you a chance you had earned at that championship and all we heard was crickets and now that you went out on your own and won the Rumble they want to act like they’ve had your back this entire time…it’s amusing…
The two men continue to walk down the hall, receiving congratulations from staff members…
Reid: It doesn’t matter Tommy…I’m not going to take a victory lap at their expense…I said from the moment I resigned with Brawl that I wanted to elevate this brand back to its proper face here in the EWC…back to being the top show in this company and this was the first step…if the suits and management want to jump on the bandwagon along the way so be it, let them all act like they believed in me this entire time and put on the act…but I know who had my back when I was done…who stood by me last season when I could barely win a match…who believed in me…who were family
And just as the two men turn the corner Xavier and Tommy come face to face with ‘family’ in the form of El Pablo and Vertigo standing beside a table full of assorted snacks, no doubt debriefing each other following their altercation with JoJo Rush and Cosmo Goldworthy earlier in the night. Pablo doesn't immediately notice Xavier and Tommy's arrival - distracted by sprinkling an unnecessary amount of Skittles onto each plate, sweet snack or not - however, a nudge from his youngest brother swiftly causes him to turn around.
El Pablo: Hey, there he is! Mister Int-disputed himself!
Xavier smiles for a second seeing his two brothers but before he can say anything Tommy steps between the brothers as he glares at El Pablo…
Love: And speaking of bandwagon jumpers...I suppose the two of you are gonna suddenly act like you're happy for Xavier as well?
Pablo just smirks, as he snatches a Skittle back from one of the plates and tosses it into his mouth.
El Pablo: Tommy, isn't there a nursing home around here somewhere you can try and crash visiting hours for? We came in peace, alright?
Xavier reaches out and puts his hands on Tommy’s shoulders…trying to calm his manager down as he moves past him to be in care view of his two brothers…
Reid: Easy there Tommy…we are not at war, besides I remember what he said at Paramount #030, right after StrangleMania…he said if his X-Division reign had to end then he was happy it was to me…
Love: Only after saying if it couldn’t have been Aiya, Flip, Scrappy Coco or the guy in the third row…
Xavier smiles as he looks at El Pablo…
Reid: He had to make the moment funny Tommy…the Volando’s don’t do serious…you of all people should know that…the point is they might not say it…
Xavier looks at Vertigo for a moment and raises his eyebrows before looking at El Pablo…
Reid: But deep down I’m sure both of them are happy for me in their own way…
Xavier pauses for a moment as he shifts the Undisputed Championship on his shoulder…
Reid: Listen, we all know the Rumble is ‘every man for himself’...
El Pablo: Stop stop stop - we don't need to do all that. Look, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it; I meant every single word I said heading into the Rumble...about what it would mean for me to walk outta there with that belt over MY shoulder - not just for my career, but for my very existence as a member of La Familia Volando...but, at the same time - and this is actually El Pablo being serious...if it couldn't be me...I guess I don't completely hate the fact that it was you.
He smirks; Xavier can't help but chuckle at the sentiment as well.
El Pablo: And, hey, you've gotta admit; the final three of the Rumble coming down to me, you and Ace, after all our history and all we've done together? That was a frickin' MOMENT.
Xavier nods…
Reid: Yes it was…one I’ll never forget…
Tommy moans…
Love: Ugh, this is too happy and ‘facey’ for me…can we please go find a puppy to kick, a old lady to push into traffic or a single mom looking for a father figure for her kid that I can trick into thinking I want to be apart of their life only to bang her a few times and never call her back…
Xavier, El Pablo and Vertigo all look at Tommy…
Reid: What is wrong with you…
El Pablo: Seriously man…
Vertigo: …
Xavier turns away from his manager…
Reid: What also is going to be frickin’ MOMENT is when you win back the X-Division Championship at Paramount #037 and I want you to know we’ll be there…cheering you on…rooting you on…and afterwards…maybe we all go out and celebrate our success like a ‘normal family’ would…
Xavier shrugs as he looks at his brothers, hopeful that they will take him up on his offer as he reaches between them and scoops up a handful of Skittles and pops them into his mouth…
Reid: Hmm…not bad…not bad at all…
Xavier pats Vertigo on the shoulder as him and Tommy continue walking down the hallway, leaving El Pablo and Vertigo alone once more. EP smirks, though as he turns to look at Vertigo, his brow furrows in confusion. After what we can only assume is some telepathic communication, the younger Volando gestures towards the Tag-Team Contendership briefcase that sits on the table beside him.
El Pablo: Well, you should've said something!
The camera lingers briefly on the briefcase, before finally cutting to a commercial break.
THE HUNT IS ON, AND THE SKY(E) IS THE LIMIT!
SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
"Headhuntress" Aiya
VS Chelsea Skye
SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
"Headhuntress" Aiya
VS Chelsea Skye
We return to ringside where the crowd is ready for our next contest!
Aiello: Here we go, folks! Our first X-Division match of the night sees Chelsea Skye taking on PRIME's very own Headhuntress, ahead of Aiya's match at Throwback PRIME against Marcu$ $t. John!
Bennett: Skye has a chance to prove herself, but she's gotta go through a former EWC Tag Team Champion to get there!
Stroup: The following match, set for one fall, is to be fought under X-Division Rules. Joining us first, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 123 pounds... CHELSEA SKYE!
The Opening riff to "Reborn Through Failure" hits the speakers and Chelsea comes out ready for action, she makes her entrance and poses for the crowd once she's in the ring.
Stroup: And the opponent, coming to the ring from Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 137 pounds, she is one of the Shinijoshi... "HEADHUNTRESS" AIYA! !
As “Dark Seeks Light” by Yui Ninomiya plays over the PA system, a fog appears near the curtains. As it slowly fades away, we see the form of “Headhuntress” Aiya standing at the top of the ramp. She saunters down, entering the ring through the middle and top ropes. Aiya then leans against the ring, already looking as if she’s making a game plan in her head whilst waiting for the opening bell.

Aiya slaps Chelsea hard across the face. Chelsea runs at Aiya but runs into a big boot. Aiya picks her up off the mat and hoists her up onto her shoulders. Aiya attempts a go to sleep but Chelsea manages to block the raising knee and spins Aiya around. Aiya throws herself at Chelsea with a spear that sends her rolling out of the ring. Aiya steps through the ropes after her but Chelsea smacks her with a metal tray to the shoulder that causes Aiya to drop to the ringside mat. Aiya gets to her feet but Chelsea grabs her and suplexes Aiya down onto the floor. Aiya gets to her feet where Chelsea shoulders her into the ringside barriers. Chelsea places her feet on the barriers and smacks Aiya with ten punches. Aiya then moves forward and stun guns Chelsea onto the barrier. Chelsea turns around and Aiya smacks her in the shoulder with a kendo stick. Aiya then uses the kendo stick to bring Chelsea down with a white Russian legsweep. Aiya rolls Chelsea back into the ring but Chelsea gets to her feet and throws herself at Aiya with a suicide dive. Chelsea rolls Aiya into the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle. She drops down onto Aiya with a 450 splash and hooks the leg.

Aiya gets a shoulder off the mat to break the count. Chelsea lifts her up off the mat and up for a suplex. Aiya slips over Chelsea’s shoulder, shoves her into the corner and rolls her for an O’Connor roll. Before the referee can count one, Chelsea kicks her way free. Aiya stagers forward but jumps and springs from the ropes down onto Chelsea with a Vader bomb. The referee counts.

Chelsea lifts a shoulder off the mat breaking the count.
Aiello: Almost but not quite!
Bennett: Smart to turn a quick kick out into a near fall.
Aiya slides out of the ring, grabs two chairs and slides back into the ring. She sets them up in the middle of the ring and turns to Chelsea. She runs at Aiya but Aiya grabs her and drops her down onto one of the chairs with a spinebuster. Aiya slips to the top turnbuckle and throws herself at Chelsea with Fubar. She hooks the leg.

Aiya rolls to her side breaking the count.
Aiello: I don’t know how either woman managed to kick out of those!
Bennett: Nor me. I’m feeling it in the discs of my spine just looking at it. I dread to think what pain they must be feeling right now!
Chelsea lifts Aiya to her feet and drops her down onto the chair with a standing falcon arrow. Chelsea climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps for Skyes The Limit. At the last second, Aiya rolls to the side and Chelsea crashes to the chair. Chelsea staggers to her feet. Aiya heaves her up onto her shoulders. She drives Chelsea to the mat with a Beat In. Aiya hooks the leg as she makes a cover.

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... ”HEADHUNTRESS” AIYA!
Aiya gets to her feet and falls against the ropes. She clutches at her back before slowly raising an arm in the air to acknowledge her win.
Aiello: She looks like it’s pain to stand but The Headhuntress hunted out the victory here tonight.
Bennett: She went for the Phoenix Splash and crashed and burned. However, if it had connected this could easily have gone Chelsea Skye’s way this evening.
Aiello: No doubt on my mind M$J's watching this match closely ahead of their match on Sunday! In just a moment we'll see non-title action from the HBO Broadcast Champion, as Cosmo Goldworthy takes on Emmanuelle!

Emmanuelle
VS Cosmo Goldworthy
We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: It's been a crazy night already folks, but we still have plenty to go as we get ready for our next contest!
Bennett: Emmanuelle looks to make an impression in her early BRAWL career...but she's gotta go through the HBO Broadcast Champion to do it! Can she overcome Cosmo Goldworthy? Let's find out!
Stroup: The following match is set for one fall. Joining us first, from Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California and weighing in at approximately 135 pounds... EMMANUELLE!
‘B.I.T.C.H.’ by Megan Thee Stallion plays as Emmanuelle steps through the curtain and casually walks down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, she holds her arms out to her sides before dropping to one knee. After a moment she heads up the steps to the apron and steps through the ropes. Emmanuelle stands in the middle of the ring and raises an arm in the air before holding them out to her sides.
Stroup: And the opponent, residing in The Golden State and weighing in at 201 pounds, he is the EWC HBO Broadcast Champion... COSMO GOLDWORTHY!
Gold and white lights strobe around the arena as 'Mo Money Mo Problems' blares through the PA boxes. Cosmo Goldworthy swaggers out with a smug grin on his face. He stops at the start of the ramp, extending his arms out. "Enjoy it while 'ya got it, baby!" He shouts out, chuckling to himself as he continues to walk down the ramp. Cosmo looks at the fans reaching out and sneers at them. He slides up the apron and enters the ring, proceeding to march over to the top rope and raise his arms up one more time. Cosmo nods his head to the tune of his theme song, dropping off the top rope. He shimmies his shoulders, removing his Louis Vuitton® sponsored entrance gear before the match begins.
DING DING DING
Emmanuelle lashes out with forearm smashes that back Cosmo against the ropes. Emmanuelle whips Cosmo off the ropes and knocks him down with a big boot. Cosmo gets to his feet but Emmanuelle grabs Cosmo’s arm and leaps taking him to the mat with a cross armbreaker. Cosmo manages to quickly roll atop her and breaks free after some punches. Cosmo lifts Emmanuelle to her feet and positions her for a suplex. She slips over his shoulder and spins him around before taking Cosmo to the mat with a Michinoqu driver. She sits on his chest as she hooks a leg.

Aiello: A clothesline so hard hitting that it knocks both down!
Bennett: The trick isn’t who is knocked down. Trick is who gets back up.
Emmanuelle is on her feet first. She walks over to Cosmo and smacks him in the face with an EMS. Cosmo crumples to the mat where Emmanuelle makes a cover.

Aiello: I thought that was it!
Bennett: For him or her? For me, I thought it for both!
Both use the ropes to pull themselves to their feet. Emmanuelle steps behind Cosmo and tries to roll him up with a Buonasera. Cosmo manages to counter by shoving Emmanuelle into the corner. She stumbles backward where Cosmo grabs her and drives Emmanuelle to the mat with a Gold Mine. He rolls her over and hooks the leg.

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall COSMO GOLDWORTHY!
Cosmo marches over to the top rope and raises his arms up one more time. Cosmo nods his head to the tune of his theme song before dropping off the top rope to the floor. He heads up the ramp reaching his hands to the fans but keeping just out of their reach. He laughs loudly at their failure to reach him.
Aiello: He was a hair from losing here tonight on Brawl but somehow Cosmo Goldworthy managed to turn it around and he walks away with victory and with a very large smile on his face!
Bennett: ‘A hair from losing’. Your words. Emmanuelle was so, so close to a win here. She won’t feel it tonight but she will have plenty of positives to take from this.
Aiello: We're starting down the homestretch on the night folks, but up next the FX Broadcast Championship is on the line as Caleb Scott defends the title he won in Vegas against the man who lost it in that battle royal main event, Alexander Umbra! Before we get there, however, we're heading back to the ring for a word from the man himself, Xavier Reid!
The camera cuts inside the ring where Jessica Stroup is standing.
Stroup: Ladies and gentlemen, please help me welcome at this time, being accompanied to the ring by his manager, ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love…he is the winner of the 2023 EWC Rumble, the reigning International Champion and THE NEW EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPION….XAVIER REID!!!
‘Papercut’ by Linkin Park plays out inside the Sydney Showground Stadium and it’s met with cheers from these Australian Brawl fans…
Aiello: History was made last Monday night in Kansas City at the EWC Rumble as Brawl’s very own International Champion Xavier Reid won the Undisputed Championship by outlasting 29 other EWC Superstars to win the 2023 Rumble…
Bennett: Eliminating his own brother El Pablo and future Hall of Famer Ace King to win EWC’s Top Price for a SECOND TIME!!!
Aiello: Thus bringing the Undisputed Championship back to Brawl for the first time in three years…
Bennett: When he brought it back to Brawl after winning the Power Struggle Match at Night of Champions 2020…
The spotlights inside the stadium flash around the crowd and ring before settling on the stage as Xavier Reid walks out in his red Brawl t-shirt and a pair of jeans. The International Championship over his left shoulder and the Undisputed Championship over his right shoulder. From behind him Tommy Love walks out and cuts in front of him and points to each championship with his Love Stick before turning to the camera with the world’s biggest smile. Even Tommy is met with cheers from these Brawl fans…
Aiello: And this reception for Xavier and Tommy is a bit unexpected if I must say…more cheers than normal…
Bennett: More cheers, listen to them Joe…those are all cheers…our Brawl fans know what that man did for this brand, all season he’s been talking about bringing Brawl back to its glory days, being the ‘flagship show’ it once was and he’s done it…by bringing THAT championship back to Brawl he’s made Brawl THE BRAND here in the EWC…
The two men head towards the ring…Xavier even taking the time to reach out and high five the fans as he walks towards the ring…Tommy even takes time to fist bump a few fans as he rushes ahead and marches up the steps ahead of Xavier and enters the ring…he walks over to Jessica as she hands him the microphone and is handed a second one through the ropes…Xavier reaches ringside and slides both championships under the ropes before rolling into the ring. He scoops up the belts and walks over to Tommy who holds out one of the microphones. Xavier takes it and looks out over the fans who have broken out into a cheer…
REID!!! REID!!! REID!!!
Xavier smiles as he looks at the Undisputed Championship and then back to the fans…
Reid: I’d be lying to you all if I didn’t say I’m still pinching myself to make sure this wasn’t a dream…I’m still in disbelief of how everything went down last Monday night…listen, every one of us that entered the Rumble thought, ‘yeah I can win this things’...but that’s ego talking…I knew that, I knew how hard it was to win the Rumble…I had tried and failed to win that damn thing 6 times before and always came up short…last year I had my best Rumble, a 3rd and I started to wonder if I had what it took to win one…honestly…I wondered if I blew my best chance last year…
Xavier looks over at Tommy who just nods over at him…
Reid: I had worked my way up the rankings all season, came back from my worst season here in the EWC and felt like I put myself in position to challenge for the Undisputed Championship yet I watched as the chance went to others…despite me beating more ranked challengers, winning more championships and hell having better overall wins…I went into this Rumble knowing this was going to be my only chance at this championship this season…and by damn I was going to make the most of it…I didn’t care HOW I won the Rumble…all that mattered was winning it…I went into this Rumble as desperate a man than I ever was and maybe it was that desperation that got me over the finish line this year…maybe it was the fact my back was against the wall and if I didn’t win this now I would never win it…maybe it was the obsession of this championship…
Xavier raises the Undisputed Championship into the air…
Reid: That fueled me…that pushed me last Monday night and I’m going to been that fuel moving forward because if I thought winning the Rumble was tough the schedule in front of me now that I am the Undisputed Champion is a murderous row…tonight I’m jumping on a jet to fly to Ireland to defend the championship against the winner of the BORT, The Mercenary at Rampage #519: Uncensored…if I’m able to get past that I will have Narumi Tsutsimo and Sally Talfourd waiting for me at WrestleFest…the life of the Undisputed Champion is a busy one…which leads me to this…
Xavier hands Tommy the Undisputed Championship as he pulls the International Championship off his other shoulder…
Reid: You people have no idea what this championship means to me…I know you’ve heard me talk about it and maybe you think you understand but you don’t…I’m not trying to insult you but you have no earthly idea how much I love this championship…how I wanted to bring the prestige back to this championship…how much it gutted me watching it being passed around like a hot potato back in 2020…the length I went to to defend this championship the last couple of years…how it gutted me when they took it away from me in 2020 when I became the Undisputed Champion…and now, well…I had a meeting with Jim Connors today about this very championship and I was given TWO options…
Xavier pauses as he looks at the championship…
Reid: Vacate it…hand it over to Jim Connors and allow the EWC to crown a new International Champion or…defend it two more times and then it’s ripped away from me…Jimbo and I talked for a bit about it…he made clear the schedule I had in front of me, how difficult it will for me and how maybe, maybe it would be best just to pull the plug now and devote my full attention to the Undisputed Championship…
Xavier pauses again as he looks at the International Championship in his hands…
Reid: But I told him FUCK THAT!!! I’ll hope on a jet and head to Rampage to defend the Undisputed Championship and then I’m coming back to Brawl to defend this…to honor this championship….TO SHOW EVERYONE HOW MUCH I FUCKING LOVE THIS CHAMPIONSHIP…I’ll give two souls the chance to dethrone me as the International Champion and if they can’t…if I have two more successful defenses of this championship then I’ll hand it over with no fucking equal…I’ll watch tonight as King Flip and JoJo Rush fight it out to become the #1 Contender and I’ll happily face the winner at Brawl #602…you just name the time and place and I’ll be there ready to defend the International Championship because I’m not just going to hand it over…if you want this championship….
Xavier holds the International Championship into the air…
Reid: Then you are going to have to fucking TAKE IT FROM ME…I’ll be damned if I just toss it aside just because I’m the Undisputed Champion…I CAN BE BOTH AND WILL BE BOTH!!!
The fans cheer as Tommy hand the Undisputed Championship back to Xavier and he holds both championship up…
Aiello: Well there you go, Xavier Reid will run out the clock as our International Champion along with defending the Undisputed Championship…he will be the Brawl Superstar we need to lead up back to the promise land…the one that brings Brawl back to the top brand here in the EWC…
Bennett: Or he will kill himself trying Joe but if he’s able…if he’s able to close out the year as both the Undisputed and International Champion well…it will be run for the ages and Joe…I won’t bet against him!!!
Xavier holds both championships up in the air as the camera fades out to commercial…

SINGLES MATCH, X-DIVISION RULES
FOR THE FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP
Alexander Umbra
VS Caleb Scott
We return to ringside where we see the ring has a few tables and some ladders propped up upon the barricade’s separating the ring from the crowd. Even a few chairs have been placed ever so thoughtfully, though we all know those chairs are not long for this world.
Aiello: And next up, we have an FX Broadcast Championship Match that could prove to be a barn burner. We have the FORMER FX Broadcast Champion, Alexander Umbra, enacting a rematch clause against CURRENT FX Broadcast Champion, Caleb Scott.
Bennett: There is some bad blood between these two as Caleb eliminated Alex just over a month ago at Brawl Six-Hundred, to finally obtain the gold that has long eluded him. But after a volatile Rumble XX where that son-of-a-bitch Umbra tried to choke Scott out with a rope, I’m sure both of these men are itching to get some of their frustrations out through … ahem … dangerous means.
Stroup: The following match is an X-Division match, for the FX BROADCAST CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Joining us first, from St. Paul, Minnesota, weighing in at 215 pounds … former FX Broadcast Champion … ALEXANDER UMBRA!
"Make Believe" by Memphis May Fire echoes out from the speakers as Alexander Umbra steps out onto the entrance ramp, a burlap bag over his shoulder like he was some kind of rip-off Santa. Without hesitation he makes his way to the ring, sliding under the ropes and quickly finding himself a corner. He sits on the bottom rope, undoes the tie to the bag, and begins to fumble around with it’s contents.
Stroup: And his opponent, from St. Cloud, Minnesota, weighing in at 215 pounds ... he is the CURRENT FX BROADCAST CHAMPION … CALEB SCOTT!
Lights go black as Ze Nigmar plays. Four hooded figures with torches come out and stand on the stage, two on each side of the entrance. Lights stay off as the song intro plays. Once the drums start, a single beam of light from above the ring shoots to the stage as Caleb Scott and Luke Mason walk out through a thick white fog and stands between the hooded drudges. Clutching the FX Broadcast Championship in one hand and holding his chain-wrapped bat in the other, Caleb stands there for a few seconds looking out at the crowd with Luke. They begin to slowly walk to the ring as a short row of fire ignites on either side of the entrance ramp. Caleb approaches the steel steps and places his bat on the top step then the FX title on the step below as Luke stands beside him. Caleb then places his hand on top of the bat and closes his eyes for a few seconds before grabbing the FX title and going up the steps and into the ring while Luke slides in under the bottom rope, the single beam of light follows Caleb the entire time. He walks towards the corner and stands on the middle rope and Luke stands between the turnbuckles, against the ropes. Caleb stares out into the crowd for a few seconds before extending his arms to the side and tilting his head back as the lights fade back on. He then gets down and hands the FX title to Luke to hold onto.
Luke turns around … AND GETS A FACE FULL OF MACE FROM ALEXANDER UMBRA!!! Luke drops to the ground and grabs his face as Alex turns the can of mace towards Caleb Scott. Caleb, quick to react, ducks the spray of mace that flies over the ropes and BARELY misses some of the fans in the crowd. With a quick swing in an uppercut fashion, Caleb connects HARD with his baseball bat, sending the mace flying into the air and landing somewhere unknown up the entrance ramp.
DING DING DING
Alexander Umbra grabs at his hand as Caleb Scott tosses his bat to the outside and charges forward, grabbing Alex around the waist … lifting him up .. AND PLANTS HIM INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING WITH A SPINE BUSTER! Caleb drops down onto the mat AND BEGINS RAINING DOWN PUNCHES INTO UMBRA! Umbra tries his best to defend himself, but Caleb is connecting on too many shots.
Tired of his assault and looking to do some heavier damage, Caleb stops his rapid punches and grabs a nearby ring rope, pulling himself to his feet. He glances down at Luke, who is getting his eyes washed out by a few medics on the outside. Happy with his friend getting much needed assistance, Caleb reaches down and grabs his bat off the ground. He checks to make sure the chains are still on it securely, then turns towards Alex … DAYDREAM BELIEVER - NO! CALEB SCOTT MOVED JUST IN TIME!!! Caleb reacts quickly, grabbing Alexander and WHIPPING him towards the ropes. Alexander bounces off the ropes and comes flying back .. but he DUCKS underneath a clothesline attempt by Scott. Umbra continues his momentum towards the other side of the ring, bouncing off the ropes and comes flying back towards Scott … WHO SWINGS HIS CHAIN COVERED BASEBALL BAT!!! ALEXANDER SLIDES DOWN ONTO HIS KNEES, JUST MISSING THE END OF THE BAT! Umbra pops up as Scott turns around … SOUND OF SILENCE!!! SIT-OUT FACEBUSTER BY ALEXANDER UMBRA AND CALEB CRASHES INTO THE MAT! His bat rolls out of the ring and Umbra just sits there, looking at the motionless champ.
Aiello: Big impact there from Umbra, and the champ just went down hard!
Bennett: Out like a light was Caleb Scott, what is Umbra gonna do here?
Alexander Umbra stands up and instead of trying for a pinfall, he instead walks over to his large burlap bag. He begins to toss things out of it, into the ring: a large spool of rope, a small burlap bag that hits the ground and few tacks come flying out, and a small box that hits the mat with a hard thud. Alex’s eyes light up as he pulls out a medium side plastic red bag, turning towards Caleb as he opens it. With a noise all kids know, Umbra pours the contents of the bag out onto the mat … LEGOs. Not just ANY LEGOs though, but the one-by-one bricks with studs on each side and the one-by-two hinge base. The two lego bricks that were voted the top two most painful LEGOs to step on.
Alexander walks over and grabs Caleb by the hair, pulling the Champ to his feet. Guiding him over to the mess that is on the mat, Umbra smirks as he plants a boot in Scott’s midsection. He grabs Caleb’s head like he is going for another Sound of Silence … BUT CALEB GETS A SECOND WIND AND KNOCKS UMBRA’S HANDS AWAY! Caleb grabs the unsuspecting Umbra … GRIM DEATH ONTO THE LEGOS!!! STANDING URANAGE AND ALEXANDER REACHES FOR HIS BACK IN PAIN!!!
Aiello: What the--Umbra in a world of hurt after landing on those LEGOs!
Bennett: Good lord, was that hard to watch!
Caleb carefully drops down and hooks Umbra’s leg…
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
KICKOUT!
Caleb quickly stands to his feet as Umbra rolls onto his side, rips and blood stains on his shirt. The Champ goes over to the ropes and looks down at Luke, whose eyes resembled more of the Target logo than his normal look. He glanced up from the medics, giving Caleb a thumbs up. Caleb turns and just as he sees Alexander using the ropes to try to pull himself up, his eyes quickly dart to the spool of rope. Without hesitation, the Champ walks over and grabs the rope … quickly unraveling it. He grabs a couple feet of the rope and walks over to Alexander, who has just made it to his feet. HE HOOKS THE ROPE AROUND UMBRA’S NECK AND PULLS HARD ON IT, CHOKING HIM! Alexander tries to fight it … but Caleb just wrenches back harder on the rope. With his opponent half out of it, Caleb turns and sees Luke setting up a couple of the tables on the outside. With the medics gone, it seems Luke has made himself a bit useful.
At that moment, their eyes meet and the same thought crosses both of their minds.
Luke quickly searches on the ground, before finding the mace can and popping back up. He climbs up onto the apron as Caleb pulls the red-faced Alexander over to him. Luke aims the can and pulls the trigger … BUT ALEXANDER LIFTED HIS LEGS AND DROPPED DOWN FORCING CALEB TO CATCH THE MACE IN HIS OWN FACE!!! Caleb lets go of Umbra, who takes in a deep breath before reaching under the ropes and grabbing Luke’s legs. With one hard pull, Luke falls BACKWARDS off the apron and goes crashing THROUGH one of the tables. Umbra gets back to his feet, the color fully coming back into his cheeks. He rubs the large red welt on his neck where the rope was, and murder’s the injured Caleb Scott with his eyes.
Caleb fights to rub the mace out of his eyes, when Umbra LAUNCHES forward and takes him down with a hard clothesline. Caleb, still trying to show the fight in him … stands back up and opens his utterly bloodshot eyes. UMBRA DROPS HIM WITH ANOTHER CLOTHESLINE! The resilient Champ is back up and looking around for Umbra … but Umbra is behind him, Daydream on his right knuckles. Caleb turns towards him … DAYDREAM BEL-NO! LUKE BARELY MANAGED TO GRAB ALEXANDER’S LEG AND KEPT HIM FROM GOING AT CALEB!!! Alexander kicks him away, then drops to the mat … rolling out of the ring on Luke’s side. Luke backs away from the former Champ, his back slightly injured from crashing through the table. Luke steps back though, and runs into the second table he had set up. He looks at the table … then back at Umbra … DAYDREAM BELIEVER ON LUKE MASON!!! ALEXANDER JUST LAID LUKE OUT!!!
Alex turns towards the ring … AND HERE COMES CALEB SCOTT …TOPE CON GIRO! BUT ALEX MOVES AND CALEB MISSES! Although the Champ still lands on his feet … for a moment he pauses to catch his bearings. Alexander takes that moment to grab a nearby ladder, only lifting up one side … Caleb turns around … AND ALEXANDER RAMS THE SIDE OF THE LADDER INTO CALEB’S FACE! THE CHAMP CRASHES DOWN ONTO THE ENTRANCE RAMP, BLOOD STARTING TO SPILL FROM A GASH ON HIS FOREHEAD!!!
With Scott down, Umbra takes the moment to set the ladder up so that the feet are still on the ground, but the top of the ladder is resting on the top rope, making the ladder almost like a ramp. Turning and seeing Caleb still on the ground, Alexander drops down onto the Champ, hooking his leg. The ref quickly follows.
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
KICKOUT!!!
Umbra stands to his feet, looking down at the bleeding Caleb Scott … as the entire back of his shirt is red with blood as well. Umbra grabs Caleb and pulls him to his feet. CALEB SCOTT WITH A HARD SHOT TO THE JAW OF ALEXANDER AND HE STUMBLES BACK! Caleb grabs Umbra and WHIPS HIM TOWARDS THE LADDER! Umbra gets just enough balance to run up the ladder and JUMP into the ring. He grabs the small box he tossed out of his box earlier and returns to the side Caleb is on. He grabs the top rope, pulling it down … then lets go, launching the ladder up into a standing position, then down towards Scott. But the Champ grabs it, knowing it’s coming. BUT HE DOESN'T SEE ALEXANDER UMBRA GRAB THE ROPES AND SPRINGBOARD HIMSELF TO THE TOP ROPE … DROPKICK INTO THE SIDE OF THE LADDER, SMASHING INTO INTO CALEB SCOTT!!! The Champ and the ladder go clattering to the floor as Umbra quickly stands to his feet and unboxes the item he is still holding onto. It is one of the Caleb Scott statues. He grips it tightly and watches Calb stirring on the ground.
‘Strike Back’ by We Are Human plays, causing Alexander to look up the entrance ramp … waiting for Daphne Kreel to emerge. He tosses down the statue and instead pulls out Daydream, sliding her back onto his fist as he holds her up to his ear like he is listening to her.
After a few moments of no Daphne, Alex turns around … AND CALEB SWINGS THE STATUE ALEXANDER DROPPED, CONNECTING WITH THE FORMER CHAMP!!! Caleb drops down onto Umbra, Umbra now sporting a similar gash in his forehead as the Current Champ.
ONE!!!
TWO!!!

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall … AND STILL FX BROADCAST CHAMPION … CALEB SCOTT!
’Ze Nigmar’ by Rotting Christ overrides ‘Strike Back’ as Caleb Scott stands to his feet. The ref hands him the FX Broadcast Championship, which Scott snatches away and quickly goes to check on his friend … his eyes still burning from the mace.
Aiello: Caleb gave it his all tonight and showed what it takes to be a Champion. He fought off one hell of a hungry competitor in Alexander Umbra and there is no telling how far Caleb will take this title reign.
Bennett: Alexander took on Luke and Caleb, but that distraction at the end is definitely what did him in. And although this little back-and-forth may be over for the time being … Umbra will be back. So maybe Caleb should keep a look out for him.
Aiello: What an insane FX Broadcast Championship bout this was! Folks, up next is our main event, as King Flip takes on the EWC X-Division Champion JoJo Rush in non-title action. No X-Division rules here, just two men going all out to see who earns his shot at the EWC International Championship! Don't go away!

We return to ringside where Stroup is ready to announce the Main Event
Aiello: When these men first stepped into the ring at the season opener, the former International Champion came out on top, but in my professional opinion, the momentum goes to the X-Division Champion. Joining me tonight is somebody else that currently isn’t on JoJo’s good side, the HBO Broadcast Champion, Cosmo Goldworthy.
Goldworthy: ..You’re right I’m not on JoJo’s good side, but why’s that relevant? Why’s everyone goin’ off-topic? JoJo should be focusin’ solely on his match with Flip tonight, and you should be focusin’ on callin’ this match, not bringin’ attention to earlier! But regardless of my shaky standin’ with JoJo right now, I got a bone to pick with Flip as well.. This’ll be a good one.
Stroup: The following match is a singles match set for one fall, and it is your main event! Joining us first, from The Land, weighing in at 220 pounds ... THE MAD KING, KING FLIP!
T H E M A D K I N G zooms from right to left across the EXT and is followed swiftly by a red pyro. 'Heimdallr' begins to play, King emerging with his usual war paint. A big white palm across his face, small gold lines accented the edges of his face. Upon the usual red vest is a blood-matted fur that lines the collar down the button line and goes up into a massive hood. He gets to the edge of the rampway when that arrogant half smile emerges, the crowd fully immersing in the moment. The "Mad King" chant grows as he walks slowly down the ramp with his eyes locked in on the ring. His approach to the steps is slow, eyeballing the corner above them, as he slaps a few hands and hands a small child a little red 'Brawl' flag. He slaps the ring corner with a smile, reminiscing a moment before sauntering the steel and quickly slipping through the ropes. After a sarcastic bow, King turns to the stage ready for the action to start as his theme fades.
Stroup: And his opponent, representing the House, from the Badlands, weighing in at 270 pounds, he is the X-Division Champion... THE BLACKHAT, JOJO RUSH!
JoJo's music hits and the stadium lights go pitch-black. With the stage filling with smoke, JoJo approaches the stage and steps into the lone spotlight. From there, JoJo points a "Too Sweet" hand gesture like a finger gun towards the ring. JoJo "fires" the hand gesture at the 36 second mark, pyro explodes behind him around the EXT. JoJo then approaches the ring keeping his attention focused on the task at hand, ignoring jeers and boos. Once in the ring, JoJo stares directly toward the Mad King and raises his X-Division Championship into the air.
DING DING DING
JoJo and the Mad King circle each other in the ring, JoJo takes a step toward Flip which Flip backs away from. JoJo presses the issue and locks up with Flip against the ropes, which causes the referee to force a break. Flip waves to Rush from behind the referee doing his best to push JoJo away from Flip. With the two reset, Flip continues to play coy, stepping away and hiding from JoJo by retreating to the corner. The referee starts the count and once again forces himself between JoJo and Flip, but in the commotion, Flip sneaks an eye poke that catches JoJo’s eye. Flip quickly scoots himself up to the middle rope and hits JoJo with a stiff dropkick. JoJo rebounds off the ropes to Flip who lines JoJo up for a kick, JoJo catches the kick, then Flip twists to snap off an enziguri, but JoJo ducks the kick, and with Flip’s leg still in his grip, he pulls the leg up high and crashes it down onto the mat knee first!
Aiello: Down goes Flip, and Rush really putting some extra work into that attack!
Goldworthy: Look at that impact! JoJo ain’t tryin’ to hurt Flip, he’s tryin’ to cripple him!
JoJo doesn’t go for the early pin, instead he stands over Flip and continues to target the injured knee with stomps. “Get up!” JoJo shouts while counter-intuitively stomping on whichever knee Flip left unprotected with his hands. Flip tries to crawl to the ropes but JoJo picks up Flip by his mane and drags him to his feet, only to level the Mad King back down with an authoritative chop. With Flip on the ground, JoJo makes the pin by planting a foot on Flip’s chest.
On… Flip kicks out.
Aiello: Flip is not out of this yet, as he kicks out after a rough assault from the champ!
Goldworthy: Immediate kickout but did you see that, Aiello? He put his goddamn boot on his chest! That’s a statement! And if The Mad King don’t get it together, JoJo will tear ‘em to shreds!
The referee begins counting both men out, Flip rolls back in, and lays on his back to recover. JoJo slows down and attempts to climb back into the ring, but The Mad King played possum and snapped up and lands a stiff kick to JoJo’s head. Flip seizes the moment and ties up the Blackhat in the ropes with $¥K€! Rush struggles but cannot break himself free. Unfortunately for the Mad King, the referee breaks the hold at the count of four. Rush is dazed and falls into the ring by the corner. Flip runs to the opposite corner, practically blasts himself out of it to hit the Rolling Thunder, Dethronement and nails it! Flip rolls to his feet, but grips his knee. He bangs on the ropes, begging the crowd for a second wind, which the Sydney crowd obliges with deafening cheers. JoJo staggers slowly up to his feet behind Flip, but the Mad King lands a shotgun dropkick that knocks the staggered Rush into the corner. The pain in Flip’s knee causes him to slowly get back to his feet, but he fights through the pain and struggles to lift JoJo up to the top rope. Flip ignores the referee and follows JoJo up on the ropes. Flip pulls JoJo’s head back and hits him with an elbow. The Mad King then goes for an Avalanche Dragonrana, Flip’s legs wrap around JoJo’s neck, but Rush holds onto the top rope halting them both in place. Rush pulls Flip back up to counter the corner move with a massive powerbomb! The crowd pops in shock as both men bounce off the canvas with a disgusting thud. JoJo pauses for a moment before going for the pin.

Thre… kickout!
Aiello: Close call there as Flip narrowly manages to kick out that time!
Goldworthy: This is the focused JoJo that the whole world needs to see! He is TOYIN’ with a three-time International Champion, and I-I-I don’t understand why he wants to pick a fight with me!
JoJo appears disappointed with the Mad King for kicking out. Rush slowly climbs back to his feet and gets to the opposite corner, fires up a “Too Sweet” before lining up the Mad King for a Big Iron. The Mad King sits up into position dazed and defenseless, but he relies on his instincts and dodges the move while also pulling JoJo into a schoolboy pin, his hand on the tights for extra leverage!

Thre… ref sees the tights and stops the pin!
Before Flip can complain Rush rolls to his feet then throws himself at Flip and lands the Big Iron elbow strike to lay the Mad King out cold, the sight of Flip’s body laying limp and bloody sucks the air out of the arena, especially when JoJo shambles up to his feet and shakes off the cobwebs and signals for the end. JoJo drags Flip up to his feet, and onto his shoulders for the G90, but in the hold, Flip hooks a thumb and gauges JoJo’s left eye. JoJo drops Flip who digs deep into his tool kit and hits the Pele kick to send JoJo back into the ropes, but Rush cuts Flip’s momentum off entirely by nailing The Mad King with a vicious Bull-Rush Lariat, turning Flip inside-out. Blinded, Rush has a difficult time finding Flip but when he does, JoJo rolls the lifeless King over and goes for the pin.

Thre… Flip kicks out! The roof pops the roof right off the venue!
Aiello: FLIP IS STILL IN THIS! JoJo very nearly had this match won, but Flip manages to hold on!
Goldworthy: The roof has just blown off the damn roof in this place! I ain’t rootin’ for Flip by no means, but what the hell is it gonna take?!
JoJo glares at the referee, before turning his anger toward Flip. JoJo climbs to his feet and scolds The Mad King, demanding Flip lay down and die. The Mad King, his face painted a bright crimson, climbs JoJo, using the Champion’s tights for support to get back to any kind of base. Settling for kneeling, Flip looks up at a clearly furious JoJo and laughs in his face and holds up a “Too Sweet.” Rush returns the disrespect by collecting up speed by running the ropes before leveling Flip with a Big Iron. Out cold completely, JoJo wastes no time and hauls Flip up for a hurried G90 and hits the Fireman’s Carry Cutter to perfection. But Rush doesn’t go for the pin and instead hops immediately back to his feet and looks at Flip with cruel intentions. JoJo stands over the Mad King and locks in the House Special, the Standing Inverted Texas Cloverleaf wakes Flip up who after failing to reach the nearby ropes quickly taps out.

Stroup: And your winner, via submission, the X-Division Champion, and number one contender for the International Title, JOJO RUSH!
Rush drops Flip immediately after Flip taps and stands over the battered King. Rush holds his X-Division Championship up to a booing Sydney crowd, and a finger gun toward the camera.
Aiello: The Mad King fought like hell, and the Benchmark of Brawl gave it his all, but JoJo finally punches his ticket against Reid for the International Championship!
Goldworthy: The right man won tonight folks, no doubt about it. After tonight, I have no reason to believe why JoJo wouldn’t beat Reid, but.. ..He should rest up. Focus on Pablo. Focus on Reid. But not me, Aiello, no way.
Aiello: A big main event here for sure folks, but all eyes are now on the clash between JoJo Rush and Xavier Reid, two men who have championships to defend before finding out which of them will come out holding the EWC International Championship! I've been informed that the news of when that match will be announced in the coming days, so keep an eye out on EWC programming and our website for the latest details. We will see Reid defend the EWC Undisputed Championship at Uncensored and Rush defend the EWC X-Division Championship at PARAMOUNT #37...will they retain the gold heading into their next battle? On behalf of Steve Aiello and Cosmo Goldworthy, I'm Joe Aiello thanking you for tuning in tonight for Monday Night BRAWL. So long and good night from Sydney, Australia!
We cut back to the ring, where Rush continues to celebrate his win tonight as the show comes to a close.
