The show starts off with video footage detailing historic events over Monday Night BRAWL's history.
From episode 001 in 1997 all the way down to the last episode #601 in Sydney.
Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator, The Rev, and Ruthless Aggression, all with the EWC Championship.
From there we look at the dawning of the Undisputed Championship as we know it today, with a focus on the men and women who have been a part of the red brand who have held the illustrious title including Sour Candy, Dominic Sanders, Cyrus Black, and ending with our newest champion following a hellacious run in the EWC RUMBLE XX...Xavier Reid.
Sped up footage again then takes us through to current Monday Night BRAWL Superstars: Xavier Reid, King Flip, KU, Antoni Malietoa, Stitches, Melinda Rhodes, Darius, Dio, JoJo Rush, Bathsheba, S.T., Alex "Bullet" Carbajal, Chelsea Skye, Zack Tyler, Elissa Bradley, Alexander Umbra, and others making their way onto the red brand.
We then get a shot of the Champions of BRAWL:

Xavier Reid with the EWC International Championship and the EWC Undisputed Championship
The opening pyros blast across the stage and here we go.

Aiello: Hello everyone, and welcome to BRAWL DE LA MUERTE! We are back in Mexico City, a week before YOUNGBLOOD V and Halloween, and we are ushering in a spooky night of wrestling with a MASSIVE main event! Xavier Reid and JoJo Rush, two men whose paths have crossed on and off throughout the season, and after earning his shot at the EWC International Championship we see Rush get one more crack at Reid in a match billed as Grave Consequences!
Bennett: Joe, it is not lost on me that Rush is coming into this as the EWC X-Division Champion, a title he holds with a level of disdain...but as much as I don't like the guy, he's made it his mission to take and take and take, and he looks to take one more thing away from the man who sits at the top of the food chain as the EWC Undisputed Champion!
Aiello: Indeed, one of these men is leaving Mexico with two major titles in the EWC, and possibly settle a score once and for all! We also have a hell of a triple threat tonight, falls count anywhere as Darius and Stitches each have their eyes set on taking the FX Broadcast Championship from Caleb Scott!
Bennett: Scott shocked a lotta folks by winning the title at the big battle royal at BRAWL #600 in Vegas, and proved he earned the right to be champ fighting off the former champ Alexander Umbra...but tonight? He's got his biggest challenge yet with two men who have held gold in the past!
Aiello: And before we get to those title matches, we have a visit from Sally Talfourd representing PARAMOUNT as she takes on Chelsea Skye just days after losing the Apple TV+ Broadcast Championship to Marcu$ $t. John!
Bennett: Sally's proven herself throughout this season, winning the Insanity Cage and earning that shot at the EWC Undisputed Championship at WrestleFest...but if there's any anger coming out of losing her title to M$J, I reckon she's gonna take that out on Skye tonight!
Aiello: Some thrilling matches lined up for sure tonight, and it all kicks off with tag team action under Lucha Libre rules as The Mad King teams up with Captain Morgan Darkwater to take on New Money!
Bennett: King's been buddying up with Darkwater for some time now, and I'm curious as hell to see how that dynamic plays out as they face Booth and Goldworthy here tonight!
Aiello: Don't go away folks, after a quick word from EWCTV we will get right into the action here in Mexico City!

TAG TEAM MATCH, NO DQ, LUCHA LIBRE RULES
(TAGS CAN BE MADE BY LEAVING THE RING)
Captain Morgan Darkwater & King Flip
VS New Money (Bruce Booth & Cosmo Goldworthy)
We return to ringside where fans are excited for our opening contest!
Aiello: Here we are folks, the first match of the night is upon us and Mexico City is already buzzing for this tag team match! We've seen an alliance form between King Flip and Captain Morgan Darkwater as of late, and tonight they team up against New Money of Bruce Booth and Cosmo Goldworthy!
Bennett: Gonna be an absolute banger of a bout, Joe!
Stroup: The following match is a tag team match, contested under Lucha Libre rules! Joining us first, at a combined weight of 617 pounds ... CAPTAIN MORGAN DARKWATER AND THE MAAAAAD KIIIIIING!
T H E M A D K I N G zooms from right to left across the EXT and is followed swiftly by a red pyro. 'Heimdallr' begins to play, King emerging with his usual war paint with Darkwater standing next to him holding aloft his obsidian cutlass "Black Betsy", his other hand behind his back. A big white palm across the Mad King's face, small gold lines accented the edges of his face. Upon the usual red vest is a blood-matted fur that lines the collar down the button line and goes up into a massive hood. He gets to the edge of the rampway as Darkwater watches on, when that arrogant half smile emerges, the crowd fully immersing in the moment. The "Mad King" chant grows as he and Darkwater walk slowly down the ramp with the Mad King's eyes locked in on the ring. His approach to the steps is slow, eyeballing the corner above them, as he slaps a few hands and hands a small child a little red 'Brawl' flag as Darkwater enters the ring by stepping over the top rope. King slaps the ring corner with a smile, reminiscing a moment before sauntering the steel and quickly slipping through the ropes. After a sarcastic bow, King turns to the stage standing alongside Darkwater, both men ready for the action to start as King's theme fades.
Stroup: And their opponents, representing The House, at a combined weight of 421 pounds, Bruce Booth and the HBO Broadcast Champion Cosmo Goldworthy, they are ... NEW MONEY!
As the opening to "Living In Pain" by The Notorious B.I.G. plays, the lights dim black and flashing white lights strobe throughout the arena. When the beat drops, the lights flash green as all attention goes to the stage. "Box Office" Bruce Booth and Cosmo "Money Mo" Goldworthy swagger out from the back with a smug look on their face. Cosmo pops the blazer to his jacket and then extends his arms out, and Bruce throws his arms up, signaling gold pyro behind the two. They continue down the ramp and arrogance oozes out of the two, as they ignore the jeering crowd and enter the ring. Cosmo ascends up to the second rope - as well as Bruce as they both raise their arms up at the same exact time. Cosmo drops down after a couple of seconds, removing his jacket to prepare for the match - while Bruce savours the moment, staying up there for a couple of seconds as their theme music cuts off...
DING DING DING
Cosmo and Bruce exchange a few words as Cosmo steps forward to start the match. He's calling out for Flip to start the match with him but, of the two, it looks like Morgan is going to start for his side of the ring. Cosmo shoots one last snide remark Flip's way as Morgan continues his approach. The two meet in the center of the ring and Cosmo stands tall not looking to be intimidated by the big man. Morgan smiles down at him and motions for Cosmo to hit him. Cos accepts the challenge but his right hand only widens Darkwater's grin. Another stiff right hand from Cosmo as he backs up but no, Morgan doesn't back down for a second. He grabs Goldworthy by the face and shoves him over the ropes with a roar. The referee calls for the tag and Bruce slips through the ropes. He connects with several boots to the leg and midsection and keeps Morgan on the ropes. He rapidly fires off a European uppercut and whips Morgan across the ring. Bruce nods at a flabbergasted Cosmo down at the padding before using the ropes to barrel into his opponent. Darkwater comes off the opposite and Booth rolls beneath a surprise big boot, jumps to the second rope, and Darkwater turns right into a flying neckbreaker that plants Morgan and Bruce to the canvas. Booth bounds off the canvas and quickly fumbles back to his corner as Cosmo is ascending the steps. New Money makes the tag and Bruce comes off the second turnbuckle with a flying knee drop that keeps Morgan grounded. Bruce flaunts to the crowd and King Flip to antagonize him as Cosmo climbs to the top rope. ROYAL BLOOD! Cosmo gets a pop from the crowd as he not only does something far out of his ordinary but mocks King with his old 520 Leg Drop finisher on the downed Captain. King fires to his top rope, Bruce having turned around to usher Cosmo into hitting the move. Goldworthy goes for the pin and Bruce is surprised to see Flip flying through the air.
ONE!
FLIPTASTIC! King hits his dragonrana right against the ropes, pulling Bruce out of the ring.
TWO!
Booth splats to the padding and rolls away as Flip barely holds onto the ropes and fumbles on the ring apron.
THR-NO!
Morgan gets the shoulder up just before the three count with plenty left in his tank. Cosmo is surprised and doubly so after Flip hits the springboard planca anyway. The referee is quick to get Flip back to his corner while both Cosmo and Morgan are left reeling on the canvas.
Aiello: Down goes the Captain and the champ!
Bennett: Flip managed to get Goldworthy off his game there!
Cosmo is about to lift Morgan up when he's shocked once again. The Captain's hand clutches Goldworthy's throat out of nowhere. Cos tires to throw some blows and break the hold only to be shoved off. Morgan gets to one knee as Cosmo gets back up. Again Morgan snatches him by the throat. The crowd roars as Cosmo shakes his head with a look of fear. Several boots to the midsection of Morgan gets another shoving reaction from the Captain. Cosmo bounces off the ropes and cracks Morgan in the face with a savate kick! It stuns him back to one knee back Darkwater doesn't drop to the canvas. Goldworthy looks to keep the big man down and runs off the ropes once again. HANGMAN'S NOOSE! Third time's the charm as Morgan clutches Cosmo by the throat again, catching Cosmo in the air and deflecting a second savate kick. Cap'n Morgan lifts Cosmo into the air and holds him up, Goldworthy shaking his head and trying to break the hold on his throat. Signature chokeslam plants Cosmo down onto the canvas. Morgan hoists the leg for the pinfall.

THR-NO!!!
Bruce slips into the ring and gets the double axe handle fists to break the pin. Flip slips through the ropes and tries to pull Bruce away. Booth elbows Flip away and discus lariats King over the ropes to the outside. Morgan rubs the back of his neck as he gets to one knee, seeing Bruce hot dog on his tag partner. Morgan rushes up but Bruce is ready, probably using a hell of a lot of stretch to back body drop the big man over the ropes and onto King. New Money recollect themselves, Bruce giving Cosmo a moment to breathe as they return to the corner. Goldworthy sits up with a hand on his throat and calls for the referee to count.
ONE... TWO... THREE... FOUR...
New Money are in their corner as the crowd pops. Up on the stage, barreling through the curtain, is the small clown from Morgan and Flip's vignette. The Magnificent Punchi! He rushes down the ramp to cheers galore. Cosmo steps forward humored at the idea that this little guy is going to come do something. Punchi stops and wags his finger at Cosmo.
FIVE... SIX... SEVEN... EIGHT...
Punchi, a big obnoxious flower on his lapel, lightly sprays water over the back of Flip and Morgan's heads like watering potted plants. Cosmo looks back to Bruce who just shrugs, New Money confused.
NINE... TEN...
New Money are ready to celebrate, for a moment forgetting the slight change in rules.
ELEVEN... TWELVE...
With King and Captain helping one another to their feet, New Money make another tag and both men come flying over the ropes at their opponents. This breaks the twenty count but it isn't long until Bruce and Cosmo have Morgan rolled into the ring to keep the pressure on. Booth slides in after the big man looking to lock in the bow and arrow submission maneuver.
Aiello: Booth looking to take the Captain out of commission here!
Bennett: Looks like Goldworthy and the Mad King are still going at it, though!
Cosmo and King keep the fight outside, brawling up the ramp. Bruce gets both boots of the big man up and realizes Morgan might be a bit too large to lift. Darkwater's size does play a factor as Booth tries and fails a few times to lift the Captain up, so Bruce switches it up. Booth gets to his feet, keeping hands on the boots, and looks to shift to a cloverleaf when Morgan instead yanks Bruce inward to boot him away. Morgan is on one knee as Booth bounds off the ropes. SHIPWRECKED! Morgan surprises the world with a musclebuster out of nowhere. Pin on Bruce!

Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall... CAPTAIN MORGAN DARKWATER AND THE MAAAAAD KIIIIIING!
Darkwater gets back to his feet, joined by King as Goldworthy grabs Booth to regroup on the outside while the King and Captain celebrate in the ring.
Aiello: What a win for The Mad King and Morgan Darkwater tonight over a very game Booth and Goldworthy!
Bennett: New Money gave it their all tonight, but The House comes up empty against a King and a Captain!
Aiello: You gotta wonder how JoJo Rush is gonna feel about this as he heads into his EWC International Championship match tonight against Xavier Reid, but right now we're shifting gears ahead of an I Quit match between Chelsea Skye and Sally Talfourd!

"I QUIT" MATCH
Chelsea Skye
VS Sally Talfourd
"I QUIT" MATCH
Chelsea Skye
VS Sally Talfourd
We return to ringside where Stroup stands ready to call the next match.
Aiello: Rolling off that lucha tag match between The Mad King, Cap'n Morgan, and New Money, folks, we've got another brand warfare style match as Sally Talfourd travels to Brawl to face off against Chelsea Skye.
Bennett: I'm being told it's already happening.
Aiello: Wait, what!?
The EXT fires up and the crowd roars to their feet as Chelsea Skye and Sally Talfourd are already brawling backstage. They shove through some double doors and tumble down concrete steps as they fall outside the arena altogether. The referee in the ring looks around, unsure what to do at first, before rushing out of the ring and up the rampway. Chelsea and Sally exchange stiff right forearms as they get to their feet. Mexico reels with every strike back and forth as the two begin to work their way into the parking lot. Sally grabs Chelsea by the back of the head and slams her face into the hood of a car before shoving her onto the Honda. Talfourd climbs onto the Honda and has Skye lifted to their feet before attempting a suplex. Chelsea flails about as the referee finally rushes into view. Skye gets back onto her feet, the grapple still held in, and boots Sally several times to shift the hold. The referee heaves as he calls for the bell.
DING DING DING
Chelsea suplexes Sally off the Honda onto the hood of the Mazda parked across from it. Mexico pops to the bang of bodies to metal but the maneuver leaves both women in a lot of pain. They both recollect their bearings on opposite sides of the vehicle with Skye quickly pacing around the car to keep the aggression up. She keeps Sally down with boot after boot and starts to call for the former champion to quit and she drives the knee into Sally's throat over and over again. Sally relents, shaking her head, attempting to break away from Skye as the Nightmare Angel now looks to increase the pain. Chelsea lifts Sally up but Talfourd snaps out of the hold. Several wild forearms send Chelsea reeling back into a Ford F-150. Sally quickly scoops Chelsea by the feet and barrels her over to a thud in the back of the truck. Sally takes a second to walk toward the front, catching her bearings, before climbing up the tire to mount the roof. Chelsea has hardly rolled to her back when Sally comes leaping down with a leg drop to a loud bang, the suspension of the truck waning to the weight. Talfourd keeps the pressure on the neck and shoulder by transitioning as fast as she can into an armbar. Chelsea wails in pain but refuses to give up so easily, flapping her legs over the side of the bed of the truck and begins to attempt to gain an angle to break the hold.
Aiello: Absolute chaos kicking this one off, Steve!
Bennett: Both women are determined to put the other way and force them to quit this match, and now we see just how much they're putting into it!
Talfourd is too focused, too in control, for Skye to find any angle of escape from her current predicament. That is until she fires one leg up to roll into the armbar. Skye connects with a vicious headbutt and follows with a few right forearms before she's able to fully pull her arm free. Chelsea rolls out of the back of the truck with a wince, bracing her arm and shoulder as she falls back onto the battered Mazda. Skye isn't given long of a respite but she apparently doesn't need it. As Sally sits up and starts to head after the Nightmare Angel, Chelsea Skye bursts forth and SPIKES Sally down with a devastating DDT. Talfourd reveals to have been busted open and she slumps underneath the truck. Skye, too, doesn't appear to have gotten the better of that blow as landing on that shoulder sends her rolling off in pain. Chelsea is barely even able to sit up much less call for the end of the fight, but still she crawls toward Sally to find a way to end this. Pulling Talfourd by the arms to drag her from beneath the truck, Chelsea yells out as pain fires up her shoulder again. She can't help but stop what she's doing and fall back, unsure how she's going to get the Last Magician to quit. Because even though she appears out, while the referee gets to one knee to make sure she can continue, Sally mutters just enough for the referee to allow the violence to continue. Skye dejectedly drops a few boots before working into an armbar of her own.
Aiello: Chelsea is bound and determined to make the former champion submit!
Bennett: The question is, will Sally give in or is Skye about to be in for an even rougher night?
Just as Skye looks to lock it in its Sally with wild boots to the weak shoulder. Talfourd gets free and to her feet just as Chelsea does the same. Double clothesline takes both ladies down to the harsh blacktop and both women fight to get back up first. Sally ducks a superkick. Chelsea shoves the responding dropkick away and both women, banged and scratched, battered and in pain, get a massive ovation from the crowd as they stand off to one another. Chelsea sees the blood blinding Sally and rushes forward to her peril. Talfourd instinctively snaps in a Fujiwara armbar, slamming Chelsea face first into the Mazda's side mirror before both ladies finally spin down to the blacktop. Sally cranks the submission back and it looks like Chelsea's arm is about to be removed from the shoulder when she calls out that she quits.
DING DING DING
Stroup: Here is your winner... SALLY TALFOURD!
Talfourd lets go of the hold as the ref raises her arm in victory, medics rushing to check on Skye as we cut to commentary.
Aiello: What a battle these two went through tonight, but in the end it's Sally Talfourd coming out on top!
Bennett: Skye gave a hell of a run here tonight, trying to step up to the challenge, and even came damn close at times!
Aiello: Folks, in just a moment we turn our attention to TWO title matches set for this special evening. First up we have the FX Broadcast Championship on the line in a triple threat Falls Count Anywhere match, as Caleb Scott defends against Darius and Stitches! Don't go away!

We return to ringside where commentary is standing by!
Aiello: Here we go folks, the first title match of the night! Caleb Scott became champion back in Vegas, catching the former champion Alexander Umbra by surprise by retaining it in Sydney...but now, he faces a very game Darius and Stitches in a triple threat, with falls counting anywhere!
Bennett: If ya ask me Joe, this could be a reckoning for Caleb Scott unless he can pull off the victory and retain!
Stroup: The following match, set for one fall, is a Falls Count Anywhere Match and it is for the FX Broadcast Championship! Joining us first…
The sound of rapid drumbeats and guitar riffs blare through the arena as white smoke billows from the stage area ...
ON THIS DAY!
I SEE CLEARLY!
EVERYTHING! HAS COME TO LIFE!
I SEE CLEARLY!
EVERYTHING! HAS COME TO LIFE!
Stroup: Making his way to the ring, from Albany, New York, weighing in at 265 lbs ... He is the "E of the EWC" ... DARIUS!
Darius rushes through the smoke, hyping himself up at the top of the ramp as Elissa emerges behind him. He runs to each side of the ramp, firing up the crowd as he reaches them, and then makes his way back to Elissa, giving her a big kiss before standing at the end of top of the ramp for his signature pose.
I'LL NEVER LONG FOR WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN!
AND NOW REGRET WON'T WASTE MY LIFE AGAIN!
I WON'T LOOK BACK!
I FIGHT TO REMAIN!
AND NOW REGRET WON'T WASTE MY LIFE AGAIN!
I WON'T LOOK BACK!
I FIGHT TO REMAIN!
Darius and Elissa then march down the ramp until they reach the ring, where Darius then slides into the ring and looks around the arena with a grin before jumping to his feet. He leaps onto a turnbuckle and throws up devil horns as he waits for the match to begin.
Stroup: And the opponents, first residing in The Carnival Of Shattered Dreams and weighing in at 260 pounds... STITCHES!
'One Missed Call (2008) Theme' plays as the lights go dark. As the beat in the music drops Stitches appears from behind the curtain. Stitches methodically makes his way down the entrance ramp with no care for the audience. Stitches approaches the nearby steel stairs, climbs up onto the apron and begins walking the edge of the apron like a tight rope before reaching the nearby ring post. Stitches climbs up onto the second rope and throws his arms out wide. Stitches enters the ring and sits down in the corner of the ring, waiting for the bell to ring.
Stroup: Finally, from St Cloud, Minnesota and weighing in at 215 pounds he is the FX Broadcast Champion... CALEB SCOTT!
Lights go black as Ze Nigmar plays. Four hooded figures with torches come out and stand on the stage, two on each side of the entrance. Lights stay off as the song intro plays. Once the drums start, a single beam of light from above the ring shoots to the stage as Caleb Scott and Luke Mason walk out through a thick white fog and stands between the hooded drudges. Clutching the FX Broadcast Championship in one hand and holding his chain-wrapped bat in the other, Caleb stands there for a few seconds looking out at the crowd with Luke. They begin to slowly walk to the ring as a short row of fire ignites on either side of the entrance ramp. Caleb approaches the steel steps and places his bat on the top step then the FX title on the step below as Luke stands beside him. Caleb then places his hand on top of the bat and closes his eyes for a few seconds before grabbing the FX title and going up the steps and into the ring while Luke slides in under the bottom rope, the single beam of light follows Caleb the entire time. He walks towards the corner and stands on the middle rope and Luke stands between the turnbuckles, against the ropes. Caleb stares out into the crowd for a few seconds before extending his arms to the side and tilting his head back as the lights fade back on. He then gets down and hands the FX title to Luke to hold onto.
DING DING DING
Darius smacks Caleb with a right hand that knocks him down. Darius rains down on him with rights and forearms to the back until Stitches wanders over. He too batters down Caleb with punches and kicks. Stitches then grabs Darius. He throws Darius into the corner and knocks him down with a clothesline. Darius gets to his feet but Stitches grabs him by the hair pulling him into a backbreaker. Stitches smacks at Darius’ ribs with his forearms. Darius manages to get to his feet but Stitches drops him back to the mat with a Samoan drop. Stitches to the top turnbuckle and dives at Caleb who is on the outside of the ring. Caleb catches him across the gut with a kendo stick. Stitches drops to the ringside mat clutching his ribs. He gets to his feet where Caleb cracks him across the skull with the kendo stick dropping him down. Caleb drops onto Stitches with a standing moonsault and hooks the leg. The referee leaps out of the ring to make the count.

Stitches lifts a shoulder off the mat to break the count. Darius rolls outside and throws Caleb into the ring post. Darius then lifts Caleb up and stun guns him on the commentary table. Caleb stumbles to the barrier where Darius clotheslines him over the barrier into the crowd. Darius climbs onto the barrier and dives hitting Caleb with a dropkick. Both land onto the concrete floor but Darius is able to hook a leg for a cover.

Stitches dives from the barrier to break the count.
Aiello: Fighting in the crowd? This can’t end well.
Bennett: Hush up you, this getting good
Stitches pulls Caleb to his feet. They exchange right hands before Stitches ducks a right from Caleb and drops him to the hard ground with a DDT. Darius smacks Stitches in the back and they fight all the way through the curtain to the concourse area. Stitches whips Darius into the merchandise table and grabs a Melody Malone shirt. He throws it over Darius’ face and peppers him with right hands. He grabs a replica Undisputed Championship and charges at Darius with it. Darius ducks and backdrops Stitches onto the tiled floor. Darius picks up the championship and cracks Stitches in the head with it. Before he can follow up, a trash can flies in smacking Darius on the back. Darius turns to the direction of the flying trash can and Caleb runs in hitting a spear that takes Darius down. Darius gets to his feet and charges at Caleb. He catches Darius and drops him to the flooring with a Grim Death. He makes a cover.

Stitches manages to push Caleb breaking the count. Caleb gets to his feet and drags Stitches to his feet and readies him for a suplex. Stitches counters with several punches to the gut. Caleb doubles over and we see Stitches has brass knuckles on his right hand. He smacks Caleb on the jaw with the brass knuckles. He clutches at his jaw and is wide open for Stitches to smack him with a Beautiful Disasterpiece. He makes a cover.

Caleb pulls at Darius’ ankle to break the count.
Aiello: I thought that was it!
Bennett: One on one it probably would have been but tonight, Caleb Scott was there to break the count.
Darius lifts Caleb to his feet and positions him for a Grey Matter. Caleb counters and shoulders Darius, back first, into the bar. Caleb straightens up. Darius grabs a beer bottle from the bar and smashes it across Caleb’s head. He staggers back. Darius runs and drives into Caleb with a Hunter’s Mark. Before he can make a cover, Stitches smacks Darius across the head with the trash can. Stitches lays the trash can on the ground and grabs Darius. He drives him down to the trash can with a Sound Of Silence before ultimately covering Caleb as the ref makes the count.

DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner, via pinfall and NEW FX Broadcast Champion STITCHES!
The referee hands over the Championship and Stitches raises it over his head before staggering away in the direction of the locker room area.
Aiello: My god that was a war! However the reign is over as Stitches becomes the new Broadcast Champion! It was a hell of a reign but all good things, sadly, must come to an end as they did for Caleb Scott here tonight.
Bennett: All three had chances to win. One on one, maybe Caleb Scott or Darius would have taken advantage. Tonight, it was such a war that I’m amazed anyone was able to stand long enough to pick up the win.
Aiello: What a match, and what a way to get us to our main event! Up next, the EWC International Championship is the sole focus of a match between two heated rivals who already hold gold...but who will walk out of Mexico City with the top prize of BRAWL, and who will not be walking out of Mexico City at all? Don't go away, folks!
Camera cuts to ...
The camera cuts backstage where we find Brawl’s Bob Murray standing by.
Murray: Ladies and gentleman, please help me welcome, along with his manager, ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love, he is the EWC Undisputed and International Champion and the winner of the 2023 Rumble match…from the bloodline of YOUR legendary family, The Volando’s…XAVIER REID!!!
There is a loud cheer inside Arena Coliseo from the Mexico City fans as the camera pulls back to show Xavier Reid, along with his manager Tommy Love, with the Undisputed Championship over his right shoulder and the International Championship over his left shoulder.
Murray: Xavier, allow me to once again congratulate you on your Rumble win and say THANK YOU for bringing back that…
Bob points to the Undisputed Championship…
Murray: Back home where it belongs right here on EWC’s Flagship show Brawl…and I know you didn’t get the outcome you wanted at Rampage #519: Uncensored with that No Contest against The Mercenary but it was a successful championship defense and I for one took offense what The Mercenary had to say last Wednesday night at Paramount #037…
Xavier smirks as he holds up his hand and cutting off Bob Murray…
Reid: Listen Bob, I appreciate you trying to stand up for me with The Mercenary and what he had to say about me…before I was even in the building Wednesday night…but I’ll address him at a later time…right now, here tonight, it’s not about this…
Xavier takes the Undisputed Championship off his shoulder and hands it over to Tommy Love, who puts it over his own shoulder, and takes the International Championship in both of his hands…
Reid: It’s about this...the International Championship…I can’t stress to you or Brawl how much this championship means to me…how much elevating this championship means to me…it isn’t lip service when I say when I want to restore this championship to the most prestige championship in all of professional wrestling…to raise it back to the level of its glory days and stop treating it like a hot potato, just being passed around 3 or 4 times a season…
Xavier looks down at the gold face of the championship…
Reid: I have rewrote this championship’s record book…I have done everything in my power to elevate and make this championship matter…TWICE as International Champion I have won the Undisputed Championship…put this championship on par with the biggest prize in the EWC…this championship…Bob…it’s going to be my legacy here on Brawl…and tonight I’m facing a man that doesn’t want this championship because what it stands for…he doesn’t want this championship to put his name alongside some of the greats here on Brawl…he doesn’t want this championship because it will raise his stock here in the EWC…he wants it because I have it and he wants to take EVERYTHING away from me…
Xavier looks up at the camera…
Reid: That’s what he said right…before facing King Flip…he doesn’t want the International Championship or the burden that comes with being its champion…he just wants to take it from me so he can leave me with nothing…he wants to piss on this championship because I love it…he wants it so he can destroy it…
Xavier raises his eyebrows…
Reid: So tonight I’m not just going out there to try and beat the hell out of a man I hate…a man I don’t respect…I’m going out there to defend a championship from falling into the hands of a man that doesn’t deserve it…a man that will ruin it…a man that called me a coward only to have his buddies come out and try to screw me out of the X-Division Championship…
Xavier shakes his head…
Reid: I could have handed this championship over the next day after winning the Rumble, washed my hands of it and turned all my attention to the Undisputed Championship but I didn’t…that’s how much the International Championship means to me…I know I only get the chance to defend it twice before I have to hand it over to Jim Connors…I know there will soon be a new International Champion but I’ll be damned if it’s JoJo Rush…I want to honor this championship and the best way I can do that is by putting that dumb son of a bitch into a casket and shutting the Goddamn lid on him…closing any chances he has of putting his hands on this championship…tonight, in front of the Mexican crowd I am going to go out there and show him what happens when he comes after me…when he decides to make things ‘personal’ and how knows…maybe at the Season Finale of Brawl I cash in my rematch for the X-Division Championship…maybe I go after him and try and take the ONE THING HE CARES ABOUT…maybe I add another gold belt just to fuck with him…tonight I pay respect to the International Championship by not allowing it to go to JoJo Rush…tonight I defend it’s legacy…because it’s legacy is MY LEGACY!!!
Xavier holds up the belts one last time before walking off camera as we move to a commercial break.
At Gorilla, X-Division Champion, JoJo Rush and the House approach to standby for the Main Event. Bob Murray scurries up to JoJo with a mic and a camera. Bob waves down the Champion before getting JoJo and himself into frame for an interview.
Murray: Ever since you attacked Xavier Reid at the start of the year, there’s been nothing but bad blood between you two. Despite a draw against Mercenary, Reid is no doubt looking for blood against you tonight. Especially after what you did to Pablo. Care to comment?
JoJo however, appears not to pay any attention, his eyes zoning off and seeing something else entirely. Bob looks over to the cameraman, then to Tori with a concerned look before JoJo finally comes back to reality and leans himself into Max to speak into his microphone.
Rush: Ah ain't willin' to die for the International Championship-
Rush turns his gaze to the camera now.
Rush: But somebody will.
JoJo's music begins to play, which prompts JoJo and the House to turn away from the camera and enter to the stage.
GRAVE CONSEQUENCES...WITH THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE!
CASKET MATCH
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
JoJo Rush
VS Xavier Reid
CASKET MATCH
FOR THE EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
JoJo Rush
VS Xavier Reid
We return to ringside where four caskets are set up around ringside for our main event
Aiello: It is time for our long awaited main event, as the EWC International Championship is on the line in a casket match..! And folks, this will be a little different from most casket matches, because we’re not looking at just one outside the ring, but four! And before I get even further.. It appears I’ve got a guest joining me.. Eddie Dozier!
Dozier: There wasn’t a chance in hell that I was going to let that pest Steve Bennett be apart of a match as monumental as this one! Tonight could go down as one of the biggest nights in the history of The House, and oh man.. I can’t wait to see the look on everyone’s faces when JoJo Rush steps in enemy territory here in Mexico, and picks up the win!
The arena lights go out completely, Lights strobe in different directions to the beat of the choir and drums. At the 19 second mark, lights flood the stage, revealing JoJo Rush, Callie Clark, Dan Funk, Brodie Dawson, Cosmo Goldworthy, Jamie Love, Alastor Grey, and Tori Taylor proudly holding JoJo’s X-Division Championship. At the 45 second mark, Rush stands before the faction and slowly extends his arms out wide with his hands forming the Too Sweet hand sign. The X-Division Champion looks up to the spotlight before closing his eyes and basks in the light. Behind JoJo, the faction raises their titles all at the same time. Five rapid bursts of pyro detonate around the EXT. Before the final shot, JoJo pulls his hands forward, presenting both as finger guns and pulling the trigger. Cuing the sixth blast of pyro.
Stroup: The following match is a CASKET MATCH for the EWC INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, escorted to, and representing the House, from the Badlands, weighing in at 270lbs, he is the EWC X-Division Champion, the BEAST OF BANDERA, JOJO RUUUUUUUUUSH!!!
With Tori Taylor by his side, and the rest of the faction in tow, JoJo saunters down to the ring in his new all-white ring gear. Once the House makes it into the ring, they all taunt the sold-out crowd before meeting up ringside, where every champion in the House meets in the middle of the ring to clank titles.
Stroup: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by ‘The Memphis Mouthpiece’ Tommy Love, from New York City by way of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 220 pounds…he is the EWC UNDISPUTED AND INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION…XAVIER REID!!!
The spotlights inside Arena Coliseo start to flash around the crowd as 'Papercut' starts to play out. Xavier Reid walks out onto the stage to cheers from the fans of Mexico City with the EWC Undisputed and International Championship on each shoulder and is followed out by Tommy Love, who begins to wave around ‘The Love Stick’. Xavier walks to the front of the stage and crosses his arms into an X as Tommy comes in from behind and acts as if he’s going to hit the cameraman with ‘The Love Stick’ to the point they swing the camera away from Xavier for a moment…when they come back on to him Xavier is walking down the aisle. When he reaches the ring he hands both championships to Tommy Love and walks up the steps and climbs through the ropes. Tommy hands him the championships back and Xavier walks to the center of the ring and holds up both the Undisputed and International Championships in the air as his manager steps into the ring. He hands Tommy the Undisputed Championship as he steps back into their corner…the International Championship over his shoulder.
Aiello: The tension in this building is palpable! It's grave consequences indeed, as one of these two men are leaving in a CASKET! Who will it be?! we're about to FIND OUT!
DING DING DING
As soon as the bell rings, Xavier Reid and JoJo Rush have an extremely tense staredown. The Mexico city crowd is loudly in favor of Xavier Reid, and strongly against JoJo Rush. Neither man seems to be fazed by the electric crowd, and instead locked in on one another. Reid eyes around the ring, looking at the four caskets around the ring. JoJo looks over as well, and finally, he shoves Reid. JoJo beckons Reid to fire off with the first strike, and Reid throws an elbow! JoJo stumbles; but he throws one of his own that staggers Reid! He throws another, leaving Reid reeling. JoJo takes Reid’s wrist and irish whips him off, swinging for the fences. Reid ducks under, kicking the leg of JoJo! He fires off more kicks to the legs, and JoJo is stumbling to get free! Reid bounces off the ropes and pops JoJo with a boot to the jaw! JoJo remains up, and Reid turns to hit off one more time.. AND JOJO SCOOPS HIM UP IN THE AIR WITH A VICIOUS SPINEBUSTER!
Reid damn near gets torn in half as his body meets the canvas with aggression. JoJo lifts Reid up, placing his hands under his pits and tossing him over to the apron! JoJo tries to bulldoze Reid onto the top of the casket, but Reid kicks him back. He swings back into the ring, nailing JoJo with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head! Reid tries to get JoJo up with a brainbuster, but the big man isn’t drained enough, just yet. He punches the ribs of Reid multiple times, and begins to lift him in suplex position with ease — but Reid brings them back down, and this time locks in a guillotine! JoJo grunts out in pain, refusing to yell or scream as he backs Reid to the ropes, still in the guillotine.
Since it’s a casket match, there’s no ropes, and Reid simply uses the guillotine as leverage to remain up! As for JoJo, he sees light at the end of the tunnel and is able to tackle Reid through the middle rope onto the apron, breaking the hold at the risk of his body, as both men go crashing on the hardest part of the ring. JoJo uses the ropes to rise, as does Reid as they start trading punches. Reid starts snapping more kicks to the leg of JoJo, and he winces out in pain as he struggles to stand. It’s early in the match and these two are aware of the urgency, fighting like the end is near at any point — which it could be in this kind of match. Reid swings a roundhouse kick, but JoJo blocks it and starts to lift him up in the air…
POWERBOMB ON THE APRON! REID’S ENTIRE BACK MAKES A LOUD CRUNCHING NOISE AS IT CONNECTS WITH THE EDGE OF THE WOOD
Reid yells out in pain, as JoJo holds a devilish smirk. He yells at the referee to open the casket, and he kicks Reid in! JoJo takes the casket lid, is it over already..?
AND JOJO SLAMS IT SHUT!
BUT WAIT! TOMMY LOVE RUSHED OVER AND PLACES HALF OF HIS BODY IN THE CASKET, LETTING THE LID HIT HIS BACK!
Tommy is crying out in pain, while JoJo stares at him like he’s an idiot for sacrificing his body. JoJo can’t think on that for long, as Reid kicks the casket open, the lid slamming into his face! JoJo falls through the middle rope, back into the ring. Reid holds at his back in pain, sliding in as he may have been this close to already losing this match.. JoJo rises to his feet, and Reid spikes him on his neck with a reverse frenkensteiner! As JoJo’s neck makes contact with the canvas, he tries to get back up to his feet.. BUT REID HITS OFF THE ROPES, AND CONNECTS WITH THE HIT AND RUN!
There is ZERO feeling out process as these two are already busting out some of their stronger moves!
Aiello: What absolute carnage early on here, but the champ catches Rush off guard!
Dozier: Come on! Reid’s only in control right now because that dumbass Tommy Love got involved!
JoJo rolls over, gritting his teeth. Reid breathes heavily, staring down at JoJo somehow trying to get back up, but yanks him to his feet anyways. He throws him out the ring to the apron and steps out, raising the casket lid. Reid tries to get JoJo in, but JoJo stops him and elbows him in the ribs. JoJo pulls himself up and starts throwing heavy punches to the head of Reid. Reid covers up, and JoJo backs up.. He drills Reid with a big boot, turning him. JoJo grabs the waist, latching on to perhaps get a german suplex and start Suplex City — but Reid starts elbowing the hell out of him! JoJo’s grip loosens, and Reid spins around to grab the head. Reid tries a DDT, but JoJo shoves him back first into the ring post! Reid stumbles forward..
AND JOJO SCOOPS HIM UP IN THE AIR! DEEP-SIX SHOOTER ON THE OUTSIDE FLOOR! Reid yelps out in pain, as JoJo rolls to the barricade, staring at the immense pain Reid is in. He sees another opportunity to end this one, and drags Reid by the hair as he raises the casket. JoJo muscles Reid up and forces him in. He grabs the lid to slam it shut, but Reid finds enough fight in him to keep his hands up! JoJo is much stronger though, and he attempts to smash the hands of Reid while he's at it! But Reid keeps his hands up, and starts to sit up as well! JoJo smirks and winds the lid back to slam it right on Reid’s head, but Reid gets desperate and thumbs JoJo in the eye! JoJo holds his eye, groaning as Reid dives out of the casket with a crossbody!
Reid starts throwing punches to JoJo, but JoJo flips it over and starts pounding him. Reid kicks JoJo off, and JoJo flies back first into the side of the casket! JoJo winces in pain, meanwhile Reid rises to his feet and jumps into a flying knee to the side of JoJo’s head! JoJo flies over the casket, holding his head. Reid is aware that he’s going to have to dig deeper for a win and slides in, looking around. JoJo has his hands on the casket as he slowly pulls himself up to his feet.. Reid nods and hits off the ropes!
SUICIDE DIVE TO JOJO!
BUT JOJO LIFTS THE WHOLE CASKET VERTICALLY AS HIS SHIELD —
AND REID GOES HEAD FIRST INTO THE LID!
JoJo drops the casket entirely and falls to his back, laughing out in pain as Reid faceplants to the floor upon making contact with the casket!
Aiello: What a drop there, and Reid looks all out of sorts after that collision!
Dozier: I think Reid’s gigantic head just put a dent in the casket! Someone go check that out!
Reid is near-unconscious, but JoJo is far from finished! He grabs Reid up and takes the waist, scooping him up..
BANDERA BOMB ONTO THE CASKET!
AND THE TOP COMPLETELY SHATTERS!
Reid ragdolls, his entire body sliding off as the lid breaks apart — and JoJo doesn’t care that one of
the caskets are now completely unusable! Reid is in a world of hurt, and JoJo slams him onto the broken casket! He lifts him up again and slams the back of his head into the broken casket lid, and now Reid is really hurt! JoJo leans back against the apron, shaking his head. Reid rolls over, him over to the other caskets near the barricades. Tommy Love rubs his back, watching the onslaught. JoJo stares daggers at Tommy. “Ah dare you to try that stupid shit again.” He says, and Tommy backs up, wanting no trouble. JoJo scoops Reid in a fireman’s carry and lifts the casket lid with his foot, but Reid starts elbowing him! He continues the elbows and JoJo releases him! Reid leaps onto the apron, and he DOUBLE FOOT STOMPS JOJO INTO THE CASKET!
His shoulders and arms take a beating as he crashes into the casket! But as Reid hits the ground, a sharp pain jolts into his back! He scrambles up, trying to shut the lid close with authority, but JoJo holds the lid up! He swings the lid forward, and it pops Reid in the mouth! Reid strategically rolls back in, rolling in. JoJo follows him in, adjusting his right elbow pad.. He calls Reid up.. BIG IRON — Reid ducks under! Repeated shoot kicks to the chest! JoJo staggers! He swings that roundhouse again and JoJo blocks it! Reid spins around into a pele kick! JoJo stumbles backwards.. And he falls into the ropes!
His arms ricochet off the top and middle rope, as they bounce — and end up TRAPPING BOTH OF HIS ARMS! JoJo yells out in anguish, as he struggles to get free! Reid points at JoJo and he bounces off for added momentum! BEAST—
JOJO SNAPS FREE AND CATCHES REID WITH A BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX INTO THE ROPES…
SNAP!
Everyone in the building holds their breath — AS THE ROPES BREAK, AND BOTH MEN GO CRASHING THROUGH THEM!
Aiello: OH NO! Absolute calamity in the ring as both men fall out of the ring!
Dozier: Who the hell reinforced this ring?! That might have knocked both of them out!
The fans are on their feet after that absolutely awesome encounter! Reid lies on the dented casket, as his back is scratched up. After making contact with the apron, casket and the floor, JoJo somehow only has a small cut in the corner of his head. Blood starts leaking down regardless though, and JoJo tries to get up, and drops back to his fours. He dry heaves on the floor, staring down at Reid. JoJo reaches under, grabbing a steel chair! He smirks, ready to put Reid down once and for all.. JoJo drags the chair around, staring down at Reid.. And Reid throws a DESPERATION KICK TO THE BALLS! JoJo doubles over, dropping the chair as he holds at his groin in pain! Reid looks over to Tommy, ushering him over! Tommy tosses him the Love Stick!
Reid catches it and he starts BASHING JoJo in the legs with it! JoJo wobbles backwards and Reid keeps throwing those shots full force! JoJo leans against the apron, yelping out in pain. Reid backs up and swings one last shot at the head, but JoJo ducks and HITS HIM WITH THE BIG IRON! REID’S HEAD SMASHES INTO THE RING POST! JoJo falls back against the barricade, gasping for air. He drags Reid up and pulls him to a functional casket. JoJo tries to get it open, but Reid wraps his arm around the bad leg! JoJo struggles, beating down at Reid’s back.. Reid holds onto him, and the two stumble onto the ramp. Reid releases JoJo, and the two start weakly throwing back and forth punches! Reid sneaks in a leg kick that wobbles JoJo, and then JoJo grabs him by the face and gouges deep into his eyes! Reid falls to a knee, and JoJo stumbles, breathing heavily. He points at Reid, knowing what it’ll take to put him down..
JoJo backs up, smirking.. BULL-RUSH LARIAT—
REID CATCHES HIM WITH THE RAINHAM MAKER ON THE RAMP!
Both men make contact with the steel ramp, and it straight up shakes from the sheer impact! JoJo is barely conscious, but Reid may have given his everything to execute that! He plants his hands on the ground, trying to get up.. But all attention, and especially negative attention goes to the stage, because the EWC Tag Team Champions, Dan Funk and Brodie Dawson of the Heat Packers are walking out! They crack their knuckles, ready to take care of Reid.. Then.. WHAP! They get smacked in the back, and it becomes clearer that it’s Little Danny and Deimos of 3pAC wielding crowbars! They raise them up to hit the Heat Packers again, but the champions fight back and the two teams engage in an all out brawl ahead of their huge main event match at Youngblood! They brawl all over the stage, and eventually to the back as the odds are temporarily evened! Reid nods to his boys, as he grabs a handful of JoJo and pulls him to the casket, closest to the stage.. And he raises it up, throwing him in! Reid breathes heavily, taking the lid..
AND HE SLAMS IT SHUT!
BUT WAIT! JOJO’S FOOT IS HANGING OUT! Reid can’t believe it! He scrambles over, to take The Love Stick.. And he starts SMASHING JoJo’s ankle! JoJo hurls out in pain from the shots, and he can’t even see ‘em! With his power, JoJo has a burst of energy as he PUSHES the lid up into Reid’s mouth, and he drops back to the ground! JoJo rolls out of the casket, with something in hand.. He’s got fucking Perocet agains! He raises them up and pops them all in his mouth, swallowing them whole! Reid sees the state JoJo is in and immediately slides in! JoJo rolls in after him, and Reid starts throwing elbow strikes to the head of JoJo, but he keeps eating them! JoJo starts walking Reid down, and he starts kicking at the legs! JoJo wobbles, but he gets Reid with a THUNDEROUS headbutt! JoJo places his hand behind the back of Reid’s head and holds him stationary as he fires off punch after punch! JoJo grabs Reid by the head and throws him to the ropes, and scoops him into a fireman’s carry— JOJO’S KNEES BUCKLE! The pain is still there, but wait a minute.. Even on his knees, JoJo is STILL carrying Reid, and he slowly muscles himself back up to his feet.. THE G90 CONNECTS! HE GETS REID WITH THE CUTTER IN MID-AIR, AND BOTH MEN ARE DOWN AND OUT!
JoJo gasps for air, staring at the ceiling. The Mexico City crowd is in awe at the fight of these two warriors, as both men find enough fight in themselves to start pushing up to their feet.. Reid wobbles, leaning on the ropes to stay up on his feet.. And JoJo stares at him, pointing around the remaining caskets.. And he ROARS AT HIM! JoJo lets out a war cry, and Reid charges in! The two start having a down and dirty brawl! JoJo pounds on the back of Reid’s head, grabbing the arms and tossing him overhead! Reid scrambles to the ropes, and JoJo throws his entire body into him! Reid moves out of the way and JoJo’s jaw meets the turnbuckle pad! He stumbles backward, and Reid uses his momentum against him to toss him with a GERMAN SUPLEX! JoJo covers the back of his head, stumbling backwards.. Reid hits off the ropes! He flies into an enzuigiri, but JoJo ducks, capturing the waist! GERMAN SUPLEX! Reid’s head bounces off the mat, and JoJo holds on! ANOTHER GERMAN SUPLEX! He holds on, and Reid is barely conscious. JoJo slowly muscles him up, but he’s barking at the referee to open the lid! Reid reaches out, realizing what’s coming!
OVERHEAD GERMAN SUPLEX INTO THE CASKET! NO! REID BARELY LANDS ON THE APRON!
JoJo has the feeling though, and he bounces off the ropes with authority! SUICIDE SPEAR THROUGH THE ROPES! REID CATCHES HIS HEAD IN MID AIR WITH A DDT!
BUT THEY DON’T FALL TO THE SIDE INSIDE THE CASKET, THEY FALL BACKWARDS AND BREAK OFF THE LID! Both men crash to the floor, and now that’s TWO caskets rendered useless! JoJo clutches at the back of his head, the impact giving him a crimson mask. Blood leaks down everywhere and JoJo doesn’t even bother to wipe it off, too busy at holding the top of his injured head. Reid gasps for air, once again exerting insane amounts of energy to take JoJo down. Tommy rushes over, trying to will his guy up, and get JoJo in another casket, but even he knows that's a ridiculous ask, considering neither man is showing signs of life!
Reid grabs onto the barricade, using it to rise to his feet. JoJo rolls over, trying to get up. Reid muscles him into a front facelock, tiredly dragging him to the casket. Tommy Love opens the casket for him, and Reid rolls JoJo back first onto the apron. Reid climbs up, shouting in JoJo’s face! JoJo tries to lean his head up, but Reid takes the arms and unleashes the FUCK YOU STOMP! Reid stomps away at JoJo’s head, as the back of his head ricochets off the apron! JoJo is motionless, and Reid falls back into the ring post, breathing heavily.
Aiello: Reid is doing all he can to retain the title here tonight!
Dozier: Come on JoJo! Don't give in yet! Get back up! I know you can!
It looks like Reid is about to close in on victory, but JoJo has found a way to muscle himself back up! Reid stares at JoJo and calls for The Love Stick again! Reid grabs it, pointing it at the groggy JoJo.
REID SMASHES IT INTO JOJO’S HEAD!
JOJO FINDS A WAY TO DUCK IT! STORMBRINGER!
JOJO’S NEW FINISHER, THE POLISH HAMMER FLOORS REID ON THE APRON! Reid is barely moving, and JoJo shakes his head! He grabs him by the hair, looking around.. Reid claws at his hands, trying to get free..
BULL-RUSH LARIAT OFF THE APRON!
REID FLIPS ONTO HIS NECK, RIGHT INTO THE CASKET! HE’S OJT COLD!
JoJo grabs the casket lid…
AND SHUTS IT CLOSED!
DING DING DING
Stroup: And your winner and NEW EWC International Champion, JOJOOOOO RUUUUSSSSHHHHHH!
As soon as the casket closes shut — the energy dies out in the Arena Coliseo. JoJo’s theme blares throughout the PA boxes, as he rolls himself into the ring. The referee hands JoJo not just his EWC X-Division Championship, but now, also the EWC International Championship!
JoJo steps out of the ring, glaring at the casket Reid is knocked out in, as Tommy Love tries to figure out the status of his boy. As JoJo stands on the ramp, all of the members of The House that joined him for his entrance come back out with him, and he raises his championships up – as do they, as pyro blares off.
Aiello: WHAT A. MATCH! These two fought their hearts out, and JoJo Rush leaves as the LEADER of both Brawl and the X-Division! What a performance from Xavier Reid, who gave it his all, but JoJo Rush was game for everything, and it was well documented with that insane performance!
Dozier: You’re damn right it was insane! No matter what Reid did, it was JoJo who continued to preserve and would you look at that.. The House remains stacked with championship gold! What a goddamn night!
Aiello: What a change of landscape in the EWC title scene tonight. Last month we saw Reid win the EWC Undisputed Championship by winning the Rumble, promising to defend the International Championship against anyone who would step up...and Rush did just that tonight, taking the belt from Reid in the process. You gotta wonder, though...if JoJo's mission is to take everything away from Xavier Reid, does the EWC Undisputed Championship play into that? It's a question we're forced to leave unanswered however, as we get ready to sign off from Mexico City. For Steve Bennett and Eddie Dozier, I'm Joe Aiello saying so long, goodnight, and we'll see you next Monday for YOUNGBLOOD V!
Eddie has already left the booth at this point, celebrating alongside The House as BRAWL DE LA MUERTE comes to a close.
