CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Disposition / Alignment: Neutral Evil, but heavily influenced by Chaotic Neutral
Brief Explanation of Character's Gimmick: Having had few short stints in EWC, and viewing from the outside, Kennedy loathes the direction of the company, and wants to become a catalyst of change. After a 3 year absence, Kennedy returns to the squared circle, after a poor effort to do so last time in 2019/20. This time, he will follow certain rules, but he will still fight for change in his own way. Gone are the presidential-style quotes, he's just himself, cranked at a volume of 11.
Ring Attire: His entrance attire will include some kind of EWC-approved Brett Kennedy merchandise (T-Shirt, Tank Top or Jacket), but he wears long tights with a white primary color, and a secondary color that varies throughout the months. Matching elbow pads, wrist tape and finger tape on his index and middle fingers.
Backstage Attire: Always wearing some kind of leather outer top, whether it be a vest or a jacket, opened up showing a graphic T-shirt, always a comic book related graphic. Follow that up with classic dark blue jeans and sneakers, always subtly colored by the city colors of where he is. He also is wearing a beanie at all moments out of the ring.
Manager: None.
Stable/Faction Affiliation(s): None.
Known Allies: None.
Known Enemies: None.

'WORLD' (in one man's voice)
More static...
'OF' (in a different voice)
Even More static...
'KENNEDY!' (In Brett Kennedy's voice)
'Rise Up' by Sum 41 hits the arena, with flashing lights matching the first two guitar strokes of the song. The lights continue to match the lead guitar until the lyric;
'I TOLD YOU I'D RISE UP!'
All the lights then focus to the front of the entrance ramp, where Kennedy is, his back to the crowd, arms out spread wide. After a short second, Kennedy turns around and walks down the ramp and to the ring, jaw jacking with anyone yelling at him in the front row.
MAIN EVENT / PPV ENTRANCE: Main Event and PPV Entrances will be typed out and given to the match writer prior to the event. Each Brett Kennedy during those moments change for the occasion and/or feud.

[OPTIONAL] Favorite Weapon: Steel Chair with the 'BK' brand on the seat.

Ring Strategy: It all depends on the situation - in normal scenarios for Kennedy, he would like to keep this match as quick as possible, in an effort to give his future opponent as little film to watch as possible. If he's a part of a heated feud, or if someone had irked him backstage the night of the event, he would wish to drag it out a little bit longer, make sure to inflict a little more pain to his opponent.
In-Ring Strengths: Kennedy has a well-balanced repertoire - he can get down and dirty with mat wrestling, can brawl with the best of them, and his ability to bend limbs for technical moves has vastly improved since his debut 8 years ago. His best strength in the ring, however, is adapting to the ring style of his opponent - and he will do so by any means necessary, which always includes getting down and dirty. An unseen eye poke, low blow, or throat chop is his best out when in a tough situation, and he takes advantage by using his strength to slam his opponent down in many ways.
In-Ring Flaws: Kennedy has always been hot-headed, and can sometimes give easily to trash talk that gets a little personal. He also thinks of himself a little too highly in the ring, despite his great ability. Weak pinning attempts in crucial moments could lead to a downfall, as well as looking past opponents he doesn't know much about, or doesn't have much history to the wrestling business. There's also a 'Rust Factor' that has to be incorporated - he's been out of wrestling for three years. All the training and development he's had over that time doesn't always translate to live ring action.

MINI BIOGRAPHY
Born in Saskatoon, a small city in the mid-south region of Saskatchewan, Brett Kennedy was the only child of a relatively normal middle class family. Growing up, Kennedy did a lot of what most kids did in that region - involve himself in sports. He played hockey and basketball, getting fairly good at it before his parents mutually agreed to a divorce. His decision was to stay with his father in North Carolina, where he picked back up in the sports scene, but later on decided to quit both sports because the coaches thinking he was too aggressive.
With that, Kennedy started growing an attitude towards other people. He wasn't quite bullying other people in terms of physicality, but he would point out the flaws of people he didn't like, and make them feel like a lower being. That gave him satisfaction in what he felt was such a mundane life at this point.
Kennedy didn't watch his first wrestling match until he was 17, and was immediately hooked to the profession. After barely graduating high school, he immediately went to a wrestling school and started training. He didn't stay long at places he was at, though, because he hated the idea of learning the basics - he could do it himself, and there's videos on YouTube if he needed them. He focused himself on learning his own kind of offense, something no other wrestler did.
After many failed attempts of trying to land himself on promotions, he made his EAW Debut in August of 2015, showing himself up in the Rookie Showcase, ultimately losing in the final. Kennedy stayed in the opening or mid-card of their main shows until a rising faction started showing up, called Hexa-Gun. After competing in a 10-man tag match against the faction and ultimately losing, he was later fired from the company after just nine months for fraternizing with another employee of the company in an inappropriate manner.
After his stint with EAW, Kennedy tried to join any company that would sign him. He joined a few low-end companies, but didn't feel like the same person as before. He quit wrestling entirely before 2016 ended, and took an almost 2-year hiatus from the sport. He wanted to find his old self again, as he felt that he gotten too soft, and tried to play the backstage politics too much. He returned briefly in 2019 for EWC, flip flopping between the Rampage and then-FSW brands before taking another hiatus. He returns again for the beginning of 2024, wanting to bring change to the now-Paramount brand after seeing what has happened over the last 3 years.
