CHARACTER INFORMATION
Team Disposition / Alignment: Self Confident-Cocky / Arrogant Heels
- Neutral Evil
A neutral evil villain does whatever they can get away with. They are out for themselves, pure and simple. They shed no tears for those they hurt, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. They have no love of order and hold no illusions that following laws, traditions, or codes would make them any better or more noble. On the other hand, they don't have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has.
Team Fighting Style: Strong Style - One of the most common forms of Puroresu. Wrestling with an emphasis on strong strikes and kicks. Submissions are equally important to this style. Anything to break down your opponent. Comparable to MMA, although later Strong Style would add influences of other styles including more throws, powerbombs, drops, etc etc.
Malice:
-Technical Wrestling - Focusing more on holds, takedowns, submissions, and grappling, technical wrestling is about putting everything on the mat and finding ways to target, takedown, and submit your opponent.
-Powerhouse Wrestling - Powerhouses show up to kick ass and leave. Combines brawling with big power moves and feats of strength. Powerhouses don't often have much in the tank and can get gassed fast, but they do everything in their power to end the match before that point.
Mayhem:
-Shoot Wrestling - one of the oldest styles of Japanese Puroresu. Shoot wrestling combines boxing, MMA*, full contact throws and slams and other styles. An exciting mix max style that is still around today. *Some of the most prominent MMA styles in this form include Pancrase, Maui Thai, Sambo, Judo, kickboxing, submission wrestling, and much more.
-Lucha Libre - One of the oldest wrestling styles. Lucha Libre is often characterized by colorful masks, rapid fluid sequences of rest holds to slams or drops to high flying moves. Lucha Libre roughly translates into "Freestyle wrestling", meaning wrestling with no limits to what you can do. Hardcore wrestling also has a home within this style.
In-Ring Strengths: Not interested in being a face or a heel team. The crowd response is not important to them. They are all about brutality, victory, efficiency & success. Individually they are masters of their respective disciplines. Together they are a hybrid force to be reckoned with. They are fast, strong, and able to adapt to almost any style.
In-Ring Flaws: Over-Confidence and ego can cause them to underestimate their opponents.
Ring Attire: "Long Boy" trunks with the Damage Inc logo, wrestling boots, knee pads, elbow pads, kick pads, fingerless MMA Gloves. Entrance attire: Skull masks with outlaw style bandannas worn over their mouths. Long black leather duster jackets with their names down the side.
Backstage Attire:
Malice: Formal: Dark suits with zipper boots / Casual: Black slacks with Damage Inc T-shirt or plain long-sleeved t-shirts with a collar, black shoes, sunglasses. Leather blazers. Gold watch and white gold jewelry.
Mayhem: Formal: Dark suits with zipper boots / Casual: Black pants or jeans with Damage Inc or various band T-shirts or vests without a shirt, black boots or canvas shoes, sunglasses. Leather jackets Chain necklace, rings, piercings.

Stable/Faction Affiliation: THE FEUD (Family Endures Until Death)

Team Theme Music: "Seek and Destroy" – Metallica
Announcer: Introducing first, fighting out of the Fear Factory Dojo in Chicago, Illinois. And weighing in at a total combined weight of 725 lbs... Malice AND MAYHEM: DAMAGE INCORPORATED!!!
'Seek and Destroy' starts to play as pyro explodes across the stage. The light pulses like lightning and Lacey Savage appears wearing a skull bandanna that covers her lower face. When the lightning pulses again a thick smoke rolls in, and from the smoke come two huge figures dressed in matching leather jackets that reach all the way to their matching boots. The two men are wearing full face masks that look like skulls. Each skull face is partially covered by a bandanna, outlaw style. The two men flank Lacey and they all come to stand in the center of the stage.

Removing their masks the group marches in lock step down the ramp to the ring in the shadow of Lacey's bodyguard Bedlam Briggs. Once between the ropes Lacey huddles up with both Malice and Mayhem in their corner to go over the final plan of attack, each member sizing up their opponents and getting ready for war. Bedlam holds the ropes open for Lacey before the bell rings, effortlessly lifting her to the floor, where she takes her place at ringside ready to aid her team however she can while being shielded from harm at all times by the monstrous form of Briggs.
Theme Music for Malice: "Psychosocial" - Slipknot
Announcer: Coming to the ring accompanied by the HBIC, Miss Lacey Savage, he weighs in tonight at 395 pounds and proudly represents his home country of Canada , he is one half of DAMAGE INCORPORATED.... The Steel Destroyer: MALICE!!!

Stomping out to the driving percussion of Slipknot's 'Psychosocial' Malice stomps out on the stage and lets out a war cry as pyro explodes to either side of him. He stalks down to the ring in lock step with the dangerously sexy Lacey Savage who pumps him up with loud words of encouragement with every step. In their wake comes Bedlam Briggs, Lacey Savage's personal security.
Malice box jumps up onto the apron and shakes the top rope before climbing into the ring where he ascends the nearest set of turnbuckles and starts to beat his chest and berate the crowd. Dropping back down he turns to face the center, crouching in the corner while he waits to spring into the fight at the sound of the bell. From the floor Lacey gives him a last bit of strategy as they wait for the match to begin.
Mayhem Solo Entrance:
Theme Music for Mayhem: "The Heretic Anthem" - Slipknot
Announcer: Coming to the ring, accompanied by Lacey Savage and weighing in at 330 pounds, fighting out of Chicago's South Side, he is The Wolf of Washington Park and one half of DAMAGE INCORPORATED.... MAYHEM!!!
The lights go low as 'Heretic Anthem' starts to play. Mayhem stalks into a spotlight from out of the shadows, surrounded by a cold blue glow. He pauses to glare out at the crowd while a slow fog starts to roll over him. Appearing like an apparition from out of the fog Lacey Savage materializes at his side where she threads her arm through his and together they start to walk down the ramp to the ring followed a few steps behind by the hulking form of Bedlam Briggs, Lacey's personal security.
Walking up the steel steps Mayhem vaults over the top rope, rolling through to stand up with his arms outstretched in a mockery of the martyrs stance. With a cocky grin that melts away as he turns to face his opponent with a frigid stare and a dead look of predatory intimidation.

MINI BIOGRAPHY
Malice: Born Keith Reed the Canadian born wrestler was pressed by his father, who was a strict former military veteran turned minor league hockey coach, to become a multi-sport standout athlete with awards in high school wrestling, rugby, football, weight lifting and minor league hockey. His father taught him to be meticulous in his physical and mental preparations for any contest and to know his opponents strengths and to use their weaknesses against them.
He sports a long list of names tattooed on the inside of both forearms reading the names of all the wrestlers who he has personally taken out of the business since going pro. He is a hard striking powerhouse who is much faster than his size would assume. He is also much smarter than his meathead thug appearance would lead anyone to believe.
Mayhem: Thomas Patrick Devlin grew up in a second generation Irish-American family on the South Side pf Chicago. He came up wearing his three brothers hand-me-down clothes and fighting for his place at the table. He had to fight even harder to get by on the block and he soon developed a taste for it. In high school he wrestled, boxed and played football until he dropped out junior year to pursue a career in MMA. He trained in boxing, Muay Thai, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Akido, Krav Maga and traditional mat wrestling.
But when he met the owner of The Fear Factory, The Malevolent Mister Maxxwell, formally known as the wrestler Maxx Mayhem, he was convinced that he might have a future in pro wrestling. Tommy inherited his mentor's wrestling surname after he joined forces with Malice to form the current version of Damage INC. He has a strong grasp of almost any style of martial art and the science of fighting. He can handle himself in almost any contest and against any style his opponent might throw at him.
Damage Incorporated (Formerly known as The Terrible Two) began when two members of the Steele Mill Wrestling Academy formed the team during their first excursion to Japan. Malice and Mercenary (Then known as Ronin.) became a successful tag team of some notoriety until Mercenary got the call from Easy-E, the owner of the IIW promotion. Mercenary returned to The States and eventually brought Malice in as well. They changed the team name to Damage Inc and went on to win the IIW tag team titles multiple times. They were the IIW's flagship duo until a match against their arch rivals The Terror Squad left one of their opponents with permanent paralysis. Mercenary, who had caused the injury, would leave the IIW soon after.
Damage Inc would later be resurrected by the twisted hive-mind of their manager/trainer Lacey Savage and Sinestro Sinister, first in Japan, then in The EWC. Modeled after teams like The Road Warriors, Demolition, The Hart Foundation and The Good Brothers, the team came to the EWC in search of gold and glory. Malice and Lacey did a short and unsuccessful stint as a solo act. Following a short run on the Rampage roster Malice left a defeated man with only one win under his belt and a list of disappointing defeats. He returned again to Japan where he had known some of the greatest successes of his career.
As a singles performer he was unable to find his stride. Something was missing. He found that missing piece when his trainer Sinestro Sinister brought him to the Fear Factory Dojo in Chicago, Illinois on his way out of the country to see an old enemy and adversary: "Malevolent" Maxx Mayhem, formerly of The Terror Squad. Maxx's career had disintegrated after his partner was crippled. But he had found a place for himself teaching others to be as vicious between the ropes as he'd once been. He forgave Malice because he felt they had someting in common: They had both seen their successful tag teams disappear because of The Mercenary.
To remedy that Maxx introduced Malice to his star student Tommy Devlin. It took one session of butting heads like bulls for Malice and Mayhem to understand what everyone else already knew-- they were destined to be a team. Re-locating to Northern California where they were signed to EWC's tag division, they quickly found themselves in the title picture. After stalling out in a big tag team tournament on Brawl Damage Inc went M.I.A. from the EWC for the rest of 2020 when the team went walkabout and toured the world honing their partnership in smaller indy feds with the intention of returning to the tag team ranks with a new sense of ferocity and purpose.
When they returned it was as a part of a dastardly plan, funded by "Malevolent" Maxx, or Mister Maxxwell, to punish The Mercenary for his past sins. Joining in an unholy alliance with a young woman who Lacey picked up off the streets to play the part of the seductress. Dalilah Ashe seduced Mercenary and coerced him into joining Damage INC in a group called The F.E.U.D. They pretended to have his back while Dalilah broke him down and manipulated his emotions as his "girlfriend." They kept him out of focus and on the ropes until early 2021 when they turned on him outright on the very first edition of Paramount TV. The final straw came when Dalilah turned on him a few episodes later and Damage went on to add insult to injury by beating the odd couple of Mercenary and Wes Walker at the Uprising PPV.
With the personal damage done the team returned to the pursuit of tag team success. Based again out of The Fear Factory in Chicago, they came back with minor victories over teams like The New Texas Angels but suffered key losses to the duo of KU and Antoni Malietoa on PPV and another to King Flip and Jack Severn in the first round of the Super 16 tag tournament. After their loss to Flip/Jack Connection they went in search of revenge by jumping King Flip after a match on Prime and Jack Severn before their main event tournament match on Brawl which lead to a backstage brawl with King Flip and Severn and caused Damage INC to get suspended and relegated to a match on Gambit by Jim Connors which humiliated them into a new found focus.
Their return match to Brawl saw them start to right the ship and get a measure of revenge by beating Antoni Malietoa and KU in a rematch from Hardcore Revolution. After splitting a pair of singles matches against KU and Malietoa they were eventually booked to finish the feud against the newly dubbed Eleos Affect in a No Holds Barred Tag Team House of Fun match at Wrestlefest, which ended in a No Contest when all four men beat each other to serious injury in a vicious fight until all participants were unable to answer the count.
The result of that match saw Damage Inc missing most of Season 23 with Mayhem recovering from shoulder surgery and Malice unwilling to wrestle without his partner. When they returned on the Prime roster they were thrown right back into a Backyard Brawl at the famous Hart House in Canada as part of Dalilah Ashe's feud against members of Shinijoshi. That match was lost when Dalilah was pinned despite Damage's best efforts. That would prove to be their only loss of the season. In the tag team division they came back strong and hungry winning 5 straight matches with wins over The Mechanical Animals, The Bastards, The Southern Express and The Heat Packers which landed them in a triangle tag team match against King Dong, a team comprised of DIO tagging with their old enemy King Flip, and the defending champs The Bastards. In an Exploding Barbed Wire Ropes match at Wrestlefest that, much like the year before, went off the rails. But Damage INC survived the destruction to at last come out on top to win their first ever EWC Tag Team titles.
2023 saw them living the high life as champions when they showed up looking the part on the season premier of Paramount in a stretch Hummer to watch their possible opponents in a tag team showcase. Several of those teams took exception to this show of bravado. One in particular, was the team 3pAC. After Damage lost the titles to The Bloody Slayers, Aiya and Narumi, in a Flaming Tables Match Malice and Mayhem found themselves trying to fight their way back into title contention. Taking on teams like The Kruel Masters, The Heat Packers, Moonshine Inc and Next Level, their biggest rivals came in the form of 3pAC. Frustrated and furious the team set out to punish Malice and Mayhem for their show of entitlement. The feud culminated at Parabellum where Damage Inc got themselves Buried at the Beach by the underdogs in the sands of Phuket Island. 3pAC would then go on to become tag team champions while Damage went back to Chicago to spend the rest of 2023 nursing their bruised ego and several nagging injuries.
