Team Fighting Style: Lucha Libre (+ Hardcore [El Pablo], + Technical [Vertigo]). El Pablo will wrestle more on the front foot, attempting to disorientate their opponents with his speed and agility. Vertigo is a lot more defensive, preferring to let his opponent make the first move and using his own speed and technical prowess to counter their momentum. Both lean heavily on instincts and innovation as per the teachings of La Familia Volando; if there's ever any evidence of strategy, it will almost certainly have come from Vertigo.

In-Ring Strengths:
Synergy - Being brothers, the Discotecnicos' in-ring chemistry and ability to read and predict what each other is going to do is unmatched.
Instinct & Innovation - As part of La Familia Volando, the pair have been raised on the philosophy that wrestling matches can be won or lost in individual moments, leading both to adopt a style wrestled largely 'on-the-fly' in a bid to surprise and disorientate their opponents.
Determination/Fortitude - Both have forged their professional wrestling careers in the face of repeated violence and intimidation from their uncle Villano - a fact that speaks, in itself, to their ability to 'gut through' adversity.
In-Ring Flaws:
Impulsiveness - While Pablo's impulsiveness can certainly be a huge benefit for the team in terms of instinctive and innovative offence, his neglect of potential consequences can equally contribute to him and his team crashing and burning.
Acrophobia - Vertigo's crippling fear of heights can render him almost useless in matches where altitude plays a significant role, as well as making him far more likely to second-guess or overthink dives to the outside, moves from the turnbuckle, etc.
Focus - The longer a match goes on, the more likely Pablo's focus is to falter, making him more likely to act on frustration than simple instinct.
Ring Attire:
El Pablo - Lucha mask with squirrel ears and “sideburns”; forearm sleeves over elbow pads, full-length tights with feather boa belt, boots - all very bright and multicoloured. Both mask and tights have the Shinijoshi 四 logo on them.
Vertigo - Fully-enclosed lucha mask with ‘spiral’ detailing; forearm sleeves over elbow pads, full-length tights; boots - all very bright and multicoloured. Both mask and tights have the Shinijoshi 四 logo on them.
Backstage Attire: Their respective masks with brightly-coloured track pants and either a basketball jersey or hoodie depending on the temperature, decorated with the Shinijoshi 四 logo.

THEME SONG & ENTRANCE
Theme Music: 'All of the Lights' – Kanye West
SHORT ENTRANCE: 'All of the Lights' by Kanye West hits the soundsystem amid a dazzling display of strobe and multicoloured spotlights as the Silent Discotecnicos step out onto an entranceway bathed in a blanket of dry ice. El Pablo bounds down the ramp, Vertigo following slowly behind as his brother laps the ring slapping hands with the fans before the two reunite at the foot of the ramp. Here, Pablo removes both his and Vertigo's headphones and donates them to a pair of young fans at ringside, before the two of them dart under the ropes and into the ring, ready for battle.
MAIN EVENT / PPV ENTRANCE: 'All of the Lights' by Kanye West hits the soundsystem as dry ice slowly spreads across a stage bathed in rainbow-coloured spotlights. As the drums kick in, those spotlights become bedazzled with strobe lights flickering throughout the arena as the Silent Discotecnicos step out through the curtain; El Pablo a bundle of energy, Vertigo a lot more measured and stoic with his masked face focused on the ring, both men's attire adorned with a pair of multicoloured Skittles-branded headphones.
After a brief pause, the two set off towards the ring, Pablo bounding ahead and slapping hands with the fans as he completes a full circuit of the ringside area before reuniting with his brother at the base of the ramp. Here, the Technicolour Tecnico whips off his headphones before more carefully removing Vertigo's, handing both to a pair of excited kids in the crowd before both brothers dart under the ropes and into the ring. Pablo hops to his feet and leaps up the turnbuckle, tossing a fistful of Skittles into the crowd as Vertigo slithers into their designated corner before his brother finally rejoins him and the two prepare for battle.
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
Tendency to Cheat (Delete ALL that do NOT apply):
- [x] Rarely- Both will generally favour sticking to the rules and trying to win ‘the right way’; however, Pablo’s not above looking to ‘even the score’ if an opponent repeatedly uses underhand tactics against them.
Favorite Match Types: Hardcore (El Pablo); generally any matches that are reliant on chaos and unpredictability
Least Favorite Match Types: Ladder matches, or matches involving altitude (Vertigo); Ironman matches (El Pablo)
[OPTIONAL] Favorite Weapon: Rainbow-coloured pinatas filled with a mystery assortment of thumbtacks, broken glass, Lego blocks - all the good stuff!
WRESTLING INFORMATION
Pro Debut: January 13th 2013 (Team); January 2008 (El Pablo); Unknown (Vertigo)
..
Finishing Moves: Maximum three (3) and one (1) optional Super Finisher (SF)
1. ART ATTACK!
Variation of the Hart Attack; Vertigo holds the opponent up in a front waist lock as EP hits the ropes and nails a spinning wheel kick to the face.
2. Taste the Rainbow (El Pablo)
Frankensteiner Facebuster
3. El Miedo (‘The Fear’ - Vertigo)
Figure-Four Crucifix Armbar (maybe?) - Vertigo hooks the opponent's legs Figure-Four style before stepping over, grabbing one of the opponent's arms and pulling them into a seated crucifix/armbar. This can either be held as a submission or, if that doesn't work, Vertigo can pull the opponent backwards into a pin.
SF. Icarus’ Rainbowlution Over the Rainbow
El Pablo hits Over the Rainbow (Reverse Frankensteiner), then runs to the turnbuckle as the opponent stumbles back into the Ashes of Icarus (Suicide Solution) from Vertigo before Pablo comes off the top rope with R.P.M! (Corkscrew Senton).
..
Signature Moves: Minimum of two (2), maximum of five (5)
1. Volando Clásico
The Discotecnicos' hit their opponents with a pair of stereo scoop slams followed by an inverted atomic drop before finishing with a Fameasser. Made famous by their father, Chico Volando.
2. Tijuana Crabcake
Tequila Sunrise/Arm-Trap Cloverleaf. The signature Familia Volando submission hold, pioneered by their great-grandfather Señor Volando.
3. CANNONBALL!
Vertigo grabs EP in a Monkey-Flip and Slingshots him Cannonball-style into an opponent seated in the corner.
4. Magia Gemela (‘Twin Magic’)
In desperate times, EP may occasionally attempt to switch places with Vertigo in a bid to surprise their opponents (eg. pulling him out of the ring and taking his place on the mat in advance of an opponent coming off the turnbuckle). It never works, however, due to their masks and attire being obviously different - although the ensuing chaos and referee distraction may give Vertigo an opening to recapture some momentum.

MINI BIOGRAPHY
El Pablo and Vertigo are the eldest and youngest sons of famous 80s wrestler Chico Volando, part of the legendary La Familia Volando, whose Lucha Libre lineage can be traced back to the very foundations of the sport in the early 20th century.
What should have been a proud following of their father's, grandfather's and great-grandfather's footsteps, however, was almost ripped away from them before it started by their uncle Villano, who had long held a violent, vengeful vendetta against Chico, fuelled by jealousy and a perceived diminishing of Villano's accomplishments in favour of Chico's.
Both Pablo and Vertigo, from a young age, were subjected to brutal treatment from Villano under the flimsy guise of "training", culminating in a fiery showdown between Villano, Chico and family friends the Southern Express on the roof of the family's La Mazmorra training school.
Despite his uncle's efforts, Pablo went on to have a very successful career in the United States, ultimately finding his way to the EWC where he currently stands as a former Indy and Tag-Team Champion as well as the longest-reigning X-Division Champion in the company's history.
Little is known about Vertigo's history following his time at La Mazmorra, save for a brief - if successful - run alongside Pablo in CEW, as well as a stint in British promotion UKWF alongside his father and fellow EWC star Xavier Reid - who, during this time, would shock the world by revealing himself to be Chico's secret second son. This moment inspired Villano to stage a violent coup, ousting both Pablo and the exiled Chico from La Familia and forcing the rest of the family - including Vertigo - to bow to his whim. It wouldn't be until WrestleFest XVIII, three years later, that the brothers would reunite, aligning themselves with Chico, their cousin Verana and - shockingly - Xavier Reid against Villano as La Familia Volando seemingly split in two.
While the lines between those two new factions have blurred in the ensuing years, Vertigo has remained steadfastly by Pablo's side and, now, seeks to help his brother in his quest to bring both of them the legitimacy they were denied by stepping back into the ring in pursuit of gold and glory.
