MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL
"ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE LAST WEEK ON BRAWL. WILL WE SEE MORE OF THE SAME THIS WEEK??"
EWC BRAWL
August 11th, 2008
Kingston, Jamaica
Commentators: Skippy & Joe Aiello
Backstage help: Ace Heart
The EWC logo appears, and then clips of the Inter Brand Feud that has been building up for some time starts to play. The instrumental version of “What I've Done” by Linkin Park plays in the background, and the screen has a tint of red in it to show that it's regarding Monday Night Brawl. It shows all of the newly formed alliances, and then shows FORCED RETRIBUTION come to the ring during Sean Ferguson and Jay Cee Vs Level One and Kevin Connor's match. It shows BDC hitting the Blackout on Kevin Connor, and how Level One turned his back on his partner. It then switches to a shade of grey to show that it's regarding Wednesday Night Warfare – aka HcW. It shows the hype of F'R's first match and the shock from the crowd concerning their loss. It then shows a masked man beating down F'R and then revealing himself as Level – One. There's a sickening CRACK as Level – One hits Shadow Man with a sledgehammer, and then zeros in on Level - One's face as he laughs maniacally. The Chorus of “What I've Done” plays and images of all of the players involved flicker, ending with one man, The man that started it all. Level – One.
Skippy: What a week it's been here in the EWC! There's been blood spilled and alliances broken on all sides, and it doesn't seem like it's going to end anytime soon!
Aiello: I know – but in all honesty, how the hell is Level - One being so successful? He's a one man army, and he's completely dominating both Brawl AND the bottom feeding scum over on HcW!
Skippy: Well it only SEEMS that he's a one man army Aiello. Who knows WHO he's got working with him?
“Rebel Yell” by Billy Idol plays as Skippy and Aiello are discussing things, and out walks the Co GM of Brawl, Steven Xavier. He walks to the ring, mic in hand.
Xavier: There has been a lot of talk as of later concerning the fact that me and Mac aren't really doing much where this so called War is concerned. First off, let me state that there is no War ... all we seem to have so far is Level – One sticking his nose in where it's not wanted. Yes, there have been a lot of HcW stars on Brawl as of late, but that is only because Brawl and HcW have negotiated a contract where they can use each other's talent to boost overall EWC ratings. That means that you will see more and more HcW guys coming over here for matches, and vice versa. It's win/win and keeps the rosters on their toes and gives fresh competition. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now, seeing as how Level – One is neither a HcW OR a Brawl wrestler, it kind of grates my nuts that the cowardly son of a bitch tends to show up here week after week, demanding this and that and generally being a pain in the ass.
So, on behalf of Mac and the EWC board of directors, I am going to say this once and once only. Level – One, if you are not booked in a sanctioned match here on Brawl OR on HcW then you are BANNED from the arena. Do you hear me?
Skippy: About time somebody took a stand!
Aiello: What, and you think Level One will listen?
Xavier: Now I know that you all want an update on Shadow Man's current condition, but I'm afraid that that information is strictly confidential due to the fact I do not want to go against any personal rights that Shadow Man may or may not have. Ain't no way I'm getting involved in a law suit!
Also, as of last week, Tommy Victor is officially suspended indefinitely WITHOUT PAY due to what he did to The Franchise. Although he was hurt, The Franchise was medicaly cleared to wrestle tonight, so wrestle he shall!
BUT ....
Due to the beating that Candy took from Hades and Squid last week, she is unfortunately unable to cmpete tonight, so the match has been changed. So instead of a tag match, The Franchise will face Angel in a one on one match up.
Skippy: Nice!
Aiello: At least this show is starting to make sense now anyway ...
As I said peeps, even though it may seem that we do nothing backstage, well – we don't. Measures have been put in place to stop all of the crap that's been going on, and anyone that wants to fight the system will find themselves in serious shit.
You have been warned. Now folks, enjoy the rest of the show!
“Rebel Yell” plays again and Xavier leaves the ring. He walks over to where Skippy and Aiello are sitting, and reaches his hand past them and shakes a very large man's hand.
Skippy: Wow, ladies and gentlemen, it seems that Tito Ortiz is here tonight to watch the show!
Aiello: And? Who the hell cares?
Skippy: What? It seems that Xavier is beckoning Tito to go into the ring!
Aiello: Great! Monkey face is going to talk ... have you heard him on the mic? It sounds like a chipmunk with tonsillitis.
“Lapdance” by N.E.R.D. Plays as Mixed Martial Arts legend Tito Ortiz climbs into the ring.
Tito: Cut The Music!
You are all probably wondering what I am doing here in the Extreme Wrestling Corporation. Well you probably know that I have left the Ultimate Fighting Championship and I am looking for a new home, and from what I’ve seen so far tonight this looks like it’s right up my ally.
Tito pauses to take in the crowds applause.
Tito: I look at the EWC roster and I see it’s missing something. It’s lacking, it’s lacking a man with drive, with marketability, with conditioning, it’s missing genuine tough guy, it’s missing a true mainstream star.
The crowd is now 50/50 for Tito.
Tito: Like what you hear or not, it’s the truth. I am here to lead EWC to the forefront of professional wrestling, no. Of all sports. I am taking the EWC name on my back and I’m taking it to the top. And nothing or no one will stop me!
Tito drops the mic and starts to pose as his music comes back on. Suddenly the music switches to “I Am Loco” by Ill Nino, Tito looks up the ramp and see on the big screen EBON’S! entrance video and out from the curtain comes Ebon dressed in his ring gear and in the best shape EWC’s ever seen him. He pulls a microphone out that he had tucked in his waistband.
Ebon: I’M BACK! And Tito buddy, there’s only one man in the EWC with the qualities you just listed, and that’s…ME! I am EWC’s resident bad ass, and I am going to go down there and prove it to you, and (points to crowd) remind them!
Ebon drops the mic and rushes the ring, he slides under the ring and Tito starts to kick at his head, Ebon picks Tito’s ankle and takes him down and enters his guard, Tito works for a Triangle Choke but Ebon reverses it and gets back to his feet, Tito gets up and is met with a head kick from Ebon which puts Tito on queer street. Ebon lifts Tito and signals for the KTFO but Tito counters with a back drop and jumps on Ebon to start his patented ground and pound. Ebon manages to buck Tito off without sustaining to much damage. Ebon hits a Pele kick on Tito. He goes over to Tito and locks in “The Straight Jacket” and Tito begins to tap! Ebon wont let go and referee’s security start to run to the ring, they get there and start to pry Ebon off of Tito Ortiz, Ebon leaves the ring with the sick smirk he’s known for with his arms in the air. Tito Ortiz is passed out in the ring, no doubt do the pain he felt being locked into Ebon’s devastating submission hold. “The Straight Jacket.”
Skippy: EBON IS BACK, EBON IS BACK!!!
Aiello: Oh great ... I think I'd have preferred Ortiz ...
