Assassin v William Rast
The opening bout was a short one, as Assassin and William Rast brawled their way into the crowd, resulting into a double count out.
Result: No Contest
Infiltration
Xavier, GM of Brawl, looks on at the opener from the hallway television set and gives his eyes a drop of disappointment. Things are about to get worse as well, when an aid runs up to him in a panic.
“Mr. Xavier! Security is under attack!”
Xavier: “What? By who?”
“By the Rosen Bots!”
Xavier stares at the fleeing aid and simply blinks before making a ‘washing his hands’ motion and shaking his head.
Xavier: “I’m out.”
Xavier walks quickly to his office, opening the door, sliding in, closing and locking it behind him. He releases a sigh, before seeing the scene his office is in.
Xavier: “What the…”
A Panda sits next to his desk, nibbling away at a piece of bamboo. Xavier and the Panda eye each other for a few moments before Xavier lets his guard down in front of the seemingly peaceful mammal.
Xavier: “Oh… it’s a Panda…”
Outside, Rev and Amy Rosen walk the halls. Rosen, carrying a ray gun with her, looks to Rev.
Rosen: “That’ll buy us some time!”
Rev: “Good work Amy, but you didn’t mention why you were here.”
Rosen: “Why am I here? Why are you here?”
Rev: “I’m on this show. I’m the EwC Champion in fact.”
Rosen: “Really? Because I haven’t seen you on in like, a month or something.”
Rev: “They are all terrified of the reign of the Rev, and that is why they keep locking me out of the building.”
Rosen: “They locked you out? Can’t you sue them or something? I’m a Jew, I can take care of that.”
Rev: “Well, I assume they did. Why else wouldn’t they book me. That’s why I snuck in here tonight, I’m going to pay a little visit to Xavier’s stupid enforcer of this stupid… locking out… thing.”
Rosen: “Broadway? Well good, last time I saw him, he touched my wife inappropriately… he needs to die. Go Rev, go make him pay for all he’s done to us all!”
Rev: “Right Amy! I’m on it! But what are you going to do?”
Rosen: “Me? I’m gonna save Crazyman from his kidnappers.”
Rev: “Good luck Amy!”
And with that, the two members of Sedition split off down different hallways, each determined to achieve positive results in their respective missions.
Nathanial Broadway v Pence Weatherlight
This match wouldn’t even see it’s start. Nathanial Broadway came to the ring first, only to be assaulted by The Rev, who left Broadway laying in the middle of the ring afterwards. This was, of course, before he knocked him headfirst into the floor with a REV-a-lation and making his exit.
Result: No Contest
A Sad Goodbye
Crazyman, Brawl’s newest addition, sits back in his locker room, seeming to ponder the debut that is soon to occur. His eyes slide closed, only to snap open as the door is kicked open, and slammed again as the person on the other side rushes in. Crazyman blinks twice, looking over at the woman holding the ray gun.
Crazyman: “Amy?”
Rosen: “Crazymizan! The Rosen Bots are fighting security and Crazy Panda is distracting Xavier! Come on!”
Crazyman: “But... I have a match.”
Rosen: “Never mind that now, Crazy! If we don’t get you out now, it’ll be impossible to escape afterwards.”
Crazyman: “But… I want to be on Brawl...”
Amy walks in and slaps Crazyman in the face.
Rosen: “Crazymizan! I know they are promising shit, but they kidnapped you! Do you have Stockholm Syndrome?”
Crazyman: “Ow! What was that for?”
Rosen: “Crazy, we gotta hurry, the Rosen Bots can only last so long before they go all sentient on me, and quit.”
Crazyman: “Wait, they turn sentient? That doesn’t sound good.”
Rosen: “The curse of brilliance I know. Did you know I got looked over for the Nobel Prize AGAIN this year? They gave it to some guy who did work on AIDS.”
Crazyman: “Isn’t that good?”
Rosen: “HE DIDN’T EVEN CURE IT!! Wait… there’s something I’m here for… oh right. CRAZY! We gotta escape, we can ride Crazy Panda out, he a little slow… but he’s really strong, can open doors, and… well, come on, no one is going to shoot a panda. Endangered species.”
Crazyman: “AMY! Stockholm Syndrome is one of the few psychological abnormalities I don’t have.”
Rosen: “Wait… what?”
Crazyman: “I wasn’t kidnapped Amy, I was traded. I am actually an official member of Brawl…”
Rosen: “But… I came to rescue you…”
Crazyman: “I know… but… what else can I really do on Rampage anyway?”
Rosen: “Beat Una Leviza?”
Crazyman: “The only way to beat him though, is to not fight him. So really, even if Saint was just trying to keep the Championship safe, this trade really worked out for me.”
Amy: “Well… okay then. I’ll call off my Rosen Bots, take my Panda and go.”
The crowd, who’ve been silent of up until this point, let out a loud collective ‘AWW’ as Amy turns around with her arms folded.
Crazyman: “I think that would be for the best. After all, we can’t have a panda running around the arena. It might... I don’t know, start karate chopping small children or something. I don’t get the Discovery Channel, I only know what Jack Black taught me.”
Amy: “Right, of course. Speaking of Chinese things… if you rose to Jade Dlagon, I wirr not tark to you again.”
Crazy: “Is that a plomise?”
Amy laughs, as she brings her watch to her mouth.
Amy: “Rosen Bots! Disengage! Crazy Panda! Take me home!”
It takes a couple of minutes, but Crazy Panda slowly strolls into the room. The Panda grabs Amy, flipping her up into the air effortlessly on onto his back, and starting to stroll out.
Amy: “Bye Crazymizan!”
Crazyman: “Bye Panda girl!”
Jade Dragon v Crazyman
This match brought together United States Champion Crazyman, making his Brawl debut and International Champion Jade Dragon, who put her undefeated streak alive in a great match. Jade Dragon suffered her first loss in EwC after Crazyman delivered his mighty Double Arm DDT onto her in the middle of the ring for the three count.
Result: Crazyman wins
A Gothic Proclamation
Goth can be seen standing in the locker room taping his fists as he is preparing himself for the match against Victor Hades.
Goth: Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, soon Victor Hades will find its final resting place where he shall be condemned to rust. Oh I know, it does not sound like a good riddle… but who cares anyways? Who cares about a man that hides his face in the shadows and does not dare to speak his words of lies towards me? I tell you his motives, I tell you why he is not what he has always claimed to be…
Goth grins, he lets his hand run over his chin as Sapphira walks over to him to bring him his final piece of clothing for his big entrance.
Goth: Because there are no lies that could send your destiny away from your face… destiny that has bound us together and destiny that shall bring me another victory in the world as it only gets me further where I shall belong… further to the point of no return and further where you never shall be in your entire life as long as I am in it…….
Goth nods to his woman as she walks towards the door and he turns his face towards the camera once more.
Goth: Victor, you once were and you shall never be again…. Do not blame me, I suggest you blame reality where it hits you right in the freaking face… oh and Vic? After I beat you? I will lock the door to your play ground and throw away the key… because play time with you is OVER!!!!
With that Goth walks to the door and walks towards the arena.

#1 Contendership: International Championship
Victor Hades v Goth
Mean Gene: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and the winner will be the official number one contender to the International Championship!
The Cross by Within Temptation blasts across the sound system as smoke fills the arena and two figures walk out to the ring. Goth walks up front, followed by his valet/manager Sapphira; both are dressed in long black leather coats.
Mean Gene: First, from Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, and weighing in tonight at 239lbs! He is accompanied to the ring by Sapphira - this is Goth!
Goth slides into the ring and pulls Sapphira up onto the ring apron, pulling the ropes apart to allow her entry. Inside the ring, Sapphira removes his coat. Goth stares at the entrance way, waiting for his opponent.
The silence of the crowd stirs around the atmosphere of the arena as it suddenly becomes disturbed by the sound of a horrific and deafening scream. A white mist begins to seep through from the ramp way, its swirling life source, only to cast itself lovingly into the air and towards the stage. The crowd looks on worried, each and every face being filled with simple fear as their hearts beat rhythmically with the flickering lights of death… a sickening blue light swooning over the crowd - just as any search light does when picking sight of its criminal. Another one follows it in its quest.
Suddenly a large circle of fire arises in a quick counter-clockwise motion, before exploding upwards as a tall dark figure appears within the center of the flames. Just seconds later the pounding beats of Psychosocial by Slipknot blares across the helpless PA system. Exhaling calmly he moves casually down the ramp way and into the ring in a dark trench coat clinging securely to his frame buttoned down the center of his torso.
Mean Gene: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California! He weighs in tonight at 260lbs and is the EWC International Champion, Victor Hades!
Standing motionless in the center of the ring Hades brings his hands chest-level, palms pressed and fingertips parallel vertically in prayer. Silently muttering words to himself before snapping his head back as his dreadlocks fly from his face, within that moment all four turnbuckle posts are lit up by the explosive pyrotechnics as they erupt. He then lowers his arms and calmly exhales before turning to his opponent.
Skippy: Don’t expect this match to be pretty, Joe!
Aiello: Oh, you better believe this one’s gonna be a brawl!
The two men are on each other before the referee even has a chance to begin the match, trading hard blows back and forth. Hades forces Goth back into the corner and unleashes a volley of punches to the face and body, attacking ferociously until the referee has to physically pull him back.
Skippy: Victor Hades is a man possessed!
Aiello: Well, you’d be pissed off too if you’d just lost your title and had to wrestle for the right to a rematch!
As Goth steps out of the corner, Hades moves in to continue his assault. Goth cuts him off with a boot to the gut, followed by a series of European uppercuts that send Victor back across the ring and into the ropes. Goth whips Hades across the ring and catches him with a clothesline. Hades is back up, and Goth drops him with a second clothesline. Victor makes it back to his feet and ducks a third clothesline before cracking Goth with an elbow to the back of the head. Goth falls to his knees, holding the back of his head, and takes a kick to the face from Victor Hades that leaves him lying on the canvas.
Skippy: Nothing pretty about The Innovator of Agony’s offence tonight.
Aiello: He’s keeping it simple, effective, and oh so painful!
With Goth flat on his back, Hades jumps on top of him, raining down hammer blows that Goth tries to deflect. “The King of Kings” manages to block Victor’s attack long enough to hit him with a rake of the eyes. Hades steps back, holding his face, which allows Goth the opportunity to get up. Goth picks Hades up and drops him with a bodyslam before following up with an elbow to the chest. He pulls Victor to his feet and whips him across the ring, catching him on the way back with a spinebuster! Goth makes a cover!

Hades kicks out. Goth quickly goes back on the offensive, whipping Hades towards the corner, but Victor reverses and Goth is sent back first into the turnbuckles. He steps slowly forward, unable to react before Victor drives him into the canvas with a brutal running STO! Hades with a cover!

Goth kicks out.
Skippy: No one is holding back in this match! These two men will fight for as long as they can move!
Hades picks Goth up and throws him into the corner, attacking him vicious chops to the chest. Goth’s chest is bright red with welts as Victor continues his assault, Sapphira at ringside yelling words of encouragement. Hades attempts to whip Goth across the ring, but the move is reversed and Goth pulls him into a knee to the gut, following quickly with a snap suplex. Hades rolls over onto his stomach, leaving him wide open to an elbow drop right to the small of his back. Goth continues to attack the spine of his opponent with stomps and kicks as Hades rolls out of the ring. He gingerly steps over to the crowd barrier, holding his back.
Skippy: Hades looks like he’s in trouble. Goth has targeted the back, and it looks like it’s paying off.
Aiello: Victor needs to keep some distance and try to walk off the pain.
Sapphira starts to shout insults at Hades, who responds in kind. He doesn’t notice that Goth has climbed out of the ring and is on him until it’s too late. Goth drops him with a double axe handle between the shoulder blades, then continues to stomp on Victor without mercy. He picks his opponent off the floor, only to send him back down with a Russian leg sweep. Hades is in a world of hurt as Goth grabs him by the hair and rolls him back into the ring. As Goth climbs inside, Hades crawls towards the centre of the ring. Goth follows closely behind but gets caught with a low blow! Goth is doubled over and as Hades gets to his feet, he hoists Goth over his shoulders. Hades with the Voice of Evil! Goth is on the canvas, clutching his neck, but Victor’s back is causing him a lot of pain.
Skippy: Hades hits the Voice of Evil, but isn’t able to capitalize on his advantage!
Aiello: He’s going for a cover!
Hades hooks the leg.

Goth kicks out! Hades hits the mat in frustration before climbing to his feet. He kicks Goth in the face before applying an arm-triangle choke! Goth struggles against the hold, kicking his legs and trying to reach the ropes that are only inches from his grasp. Hades, the heavier of the two, uses all of his weight to keep Goth from moving. With pain shooting down his arm and neck, Goth desperately swings his leg towards the rope. He just manages to get a foot on the bottom ropes, and the referee calls on Victor to break the hold. But Hades doesn’t listen, and it takes a five count before he releases Goth.
Skippy: Hades came very close to being disqualified and losing his shot at the International Championship!
Aiello: Would that be the same shot he’s entitled to under the rematch clause? Hades can do whatever he wants, and good for him!
Goth slips out of the ring, leaning against the apron and holding his throat. But he forgets that his arm is just under the bottom rope, and Hades uses the opportunity to stomp on his hand! Goth staggers away, clutching his hand, a look of shock and pain on his face. Hades just smiles as he calmly steps out of the ring and follows his opponent. Suddenly Sapphira steps between the two men, her arms outstretched, trying to protect Goth. She hurls more insults at Victor, who just looks at her with total disdain before grabbing her by the hair and shoving her away. Watching his valet get manhandled by Hades has Goth seeing red; he rushes at Hades and surprises him with a flurry of punches, Goth striking for all he’s worth with his one good hand, before he grabs Victor by the hair and flings him head first into the crowd barrier!
Skippy: I think Victor Hades just made the biggest mistake he could have in this match!
Goth continues his assault, his face twisted in an expression of animalistic fury as he rains down blows. The referee grabs him by the waist and pulls him back with all of his strength. He orders Goth back into the ring, and the wrestler reluctantly does so. Hades staggers back to his feet, rage evident in his eyes. He climbs up onto the apron, but Goth charges at him. Hades counters with a shoulder to the gut, then grabs Goth’s head and pulls him down onto the top rope, choking him with the rope until the referee breaks them apart. Goth falls back as Hades climbs between the ropes.
Skippy: The referee is having a terrible time trying to keep this match in order!
Aiello: I wouldn’t be surprised if he disqualified both these men!
Goth slowly gets back to his feet, his back turned to Hades. That proves to be a big mistake as Victor catches him with a half-nelson suplex, compressing his neck and spine! Hades with a cover!

Goth gets a shoulder up!
Skippy: How did he do that!?
Aiello: It’s nothing but instinct, Skippy!
Hades can’t believe what is happening, but he doesn’t rest long. Quickly getting to his feet, Victor runs towards the ropes, leaps up and springs off the top, jumping back for a Nail In The Coffin!
But he misses! Goth manages to move just in time, and Victor hits nothing but the canvas. Both men struggle to their feet, and Goth makes the first strike, slamming Hades back down with a spinebuster! Hades is down as Goth staggers towards the corner.
Skippy: What is he doing?
Aiello: It’ll be bad news for Victor Hades, whatever it is.
Goth climbs the turnbuckles and stares down at his opponent lying prone in the centre of the ring. He leaps off, and finds his mark with a flying headbutt! Hades reacts like he just got shot, folding up into a foetal position and holding his head. But the impact has jarred Goth’s already damaged neck, and he too is down, unable to make a cover! The referee has no choice but to start a ten count.

Both men are on their feet! But they’re both spaghetti legged as they stumble around the ring.
Skippy: These men will maim each other, brutalise each other - they’ll go to any lengths to win!
Aiello: And that’s just the way it should be!
Goth and Hades meet in the centre of the ring. Both men are barely able to stand, yet they find the strength to hit each other with wild swinging punches. They go blow for blow, back and forth, until Goth manages to score a few good shots. He attempts an Irish whip, but Hades reverses, pulling Goth onto his shoulders. He tries going for the Closed Casket, but Goth slips off behind him. Goth attempts a reverse DDT, but Victor manages to turn himself around and lifts him back into a fireman’s carry. This time Goth slips out in front, holding Victor’s head in a front facelock. He hit’s the Goth Drop! Goth manages to drape an arm over Hades as the referee counts the pin!

Mean Gene: Here is your winner - Goth!
Skippy: Goth pulls off the win and is now guaranteed a shot at Jade Dragon!
Aiello: We knew we weren’t gonna see anything pretty, and we didn’t! That match got real personal and real dirty!
As Goth celebrates in the ring with Sapphira, Hades slowly gets back to his feet. He begins to berate the pair, and Goth responds in kind. The two men stand toe to toe… then begin to brawl again! They hit the canvas, each man trying to gain the advantage as they trade punches and elbows!
Skippy: The match is over, but this rivalry clearly isn’t!
Aiello: They’re gonna kill each other!
Security floods the ringside area and storm the ring, grabbing both men and pulling them apart. Goth and Victor Hades, too weak to fight off the security guards, curse and spit at each other as referees try to defuse the situation. Hades breaks through the referees however, and Goth connects with a high impact lariat that drops him to the mat.
Goth grabs Hades once more and locks him in a dreaded Cobra Clutch submission hold as suddenly International Champion Jade Dragon runs to the ring as she is followed by Steven Williams and The Enigma and HCW’s Rex Butler… All slide in the ring and stand before Goth and watch him putting the submission hold on Hades.
Aiello: Oh yeah!! They are going to crush these two!!!
Skippy: I don’t know man, Goth is not part of Sedition
Aiello: Yeah, but he’s the number one contender for the Dragon’s International Title!!
Suddenly we see Dragon grab the microphone and grins at Hades
Jade Dragon: How does that feel Hades? Being manhandled by someone better then you? Get used to it my friend, because from today on it will be the stable of Insurrection that is going to call the shots and nobody and I mean NOBODY is going to do a damn thing about it!!
Aiello: Insurrection? These five wrestlers are a group? Wow!! Watch out Sedition!!!
Goth drops the man and Williams and Enigma grab him by the arms as Rex Butler wraps his long arm around the throat of Hades and grabs his hair with his other hand.
Goth: That’s right Sedition, from now on it will be Insurrection that will take over Brawl… and from that moment on? Who knows, we might even take over the entire EWC!!!
Goth and Dragon look at each other for a few moments before shaking each others hands and then raise the arms of every member as the others dropped Hades.
Skippy: It’s going to be interesting to see what will happen when we are closing in on Stable Wars!!!
