Then a special montage is shown of the late Memphis Reigns and his EWC Championship victory over Matt Sentel at Strangle Mania 3.
The opening pyros hit and here we go
A repressed audience eagerly awaits Monday Night Brawls introduction. A year has passed, and the excitement that was once MNB had lost its touch, and fallen off the face of the planet. But like a Hogwarts graduate, Big Danny Mac waved his magic wand, resurrecting the EWC, and with it…Monday Night Brawl. The crowd, anxious, ready to burst, explodes out of their seats with screams and cheers as the EWC-Tron lights up with a video feed of Mac.
Mac Is walking the back hallways, shaking his head in a frustrated manner. Jason Burgess appears on camera and stops Mac.
Burgess – You alright Mac? You look a little frustrated, something I need to know?
Mac – Everythings alright man, no worries. There is just a lot going on, busy ya know? Hey, I am suppose to meet Broadway in a moment, can we conclude this later?
Burgess – No problem! Make sure Broadway isn’t asleep…
A smile stretches across Macs face.
Mac – Yeah, like that would come as a surprise. Anyway, I’ll catch back up with you later.
Mac shakes Jason’s hand and continues walking down the hall. He turns a corner and spots Broadway leaning against a door.
Mac – There you are, Burgess says hello…we’re glad you aren’t napping it up.
Broadway – You read my mind!
Mac – Come inside, few things we need to discuss before this show starts.
The two men enter the office and shut the door behind them, leaving us in the hallway.
……………………………………
A number of boos start to pour down from the fans as a shot of Hurricane Jeff arriving to the Monday Night Brawl is shown. Jeff exits a limo and is escorted into the building where he is greeted by a number of female EWC employees. Jeff looks very impressed as they take his bags and coat and lead him into a pimped out office.
In the middle of the office is a giant gift bag with a note that says "Curtesy of Danny Mac". Jeff mumbles to himself, "Thanks Mac" and starts to unwrap the bag while enjoying the company of those around him.
Our scene shifts to an intensely focused Jason Burgess. He is reading over tonight’s schedule when Mac comes walking up behind him with a blank look on his face. Burgess turns and looks at Mac…
Burgess – What now?
Mac turns to Burgess.
Mac - Broadway is no longer the General Manager of Brawl.
Mac turns away as Burgess’s eyes grow wide. Before he can speak, Mac walks away. The audience, in shock, is distracted from the news as Mac makes his way through the entrance corridor. He stops at the top of the entrance ramp, and raises a microphone to his mouth.
Mac - Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to Monday Night Brawl
Mac drops the mic to his side as he takes in the huge uproar of screams and cheers
Mac - Tweleve years is a long time my friends. I look at it as a long and lasting happy marriage. We have had our shares of ups and downs, but through thick and thin here we are... United we stand! United we conqure!
Again Mac is forced to stop, as the fans are ecstatic
Mac - What do you guys say we just get this party started?
The cheers get louder and louder as chants of E-W-C are circulating the entire sold out arena
Mac - I'm just going to take a few minutes to introduce some people here tonight. Returning for his 5th Season with the EWC is Joe Aiello, and joining him in the commerantary booth is the one and only Jemery Piven
Fans cheer, and chants of ARI GOLD are heard
Mac - I see you are all Entourage fans just like me. I'd also like to introduce our very beautiful new Ring Announcer, the amazing Jessica Stroup
The fans cheer as Jessica makes her way up the ramp and down to the ring. She stands next to Mac and greets her newest fans with a wave and a smile
Mac - Now isn't this an upgrade from 90210?
Fans laugh as Jessica blushes
Mac - I'm kidding, she's still under contract for 90210, so... lets just leave that one alone. Of course many of you already know our Co General Manager. He and I have had an interesting past, but the EWC is all about second chances, and making his triumphant return to the EWC, is none other then... JASON BURGESS
The crowed gives a mixed reaction as Burgess makes his way down to the ring.
Mac – Now, I know a lot of you are wondering about the EWC as a whole, and how I plan to run things without Michael Saint at my side. Understand that I give the man all the credit in the world, and wish the KCW all the success in the world. But as strong of a friendship as Saint and I have, I could not ask him to drop his federation to come back to the EWC. He is a business man, I am a business man, and we must move on with our lives. With that said, I would like to introduce to you all, the Extreme Wrestling Corporations first...Executive Director…
The crowd purrs with excitement.
Mac – HURRICANE JEFF!
An astonished gasp echoes throughout the auditorium. The well defined Hurricane Jeff comes strutting through the entrance Corridor…
Jeremy Piven – Wait a minute. That’s not Hurricane Jeff…that’s a cardboard mask on that guys face!
Dawning a sharp black suit, and wearing a cardboard cut-out of Hurricane Jeffs face, the man struts up to Mac, puts his fists up, and…
Fake Hurricane Jeff – FIGHT ME MAC! FIGHT ME!
The audience laughs at the mockery of Jeff.
Mac – *laughing* I give you the opportunity of a lifetime, and all you want to do is fight me?
Fake Hurricane Jeff – FEAR THE HURRICANE MAC!
The roar of the laughter forces Mac to place his hands on his knees. He catches his breath, does his best to wipe the smile off his face, and turns towards the audience.
Mac – Alright, Alright. Let’s leave Jeff alone shall we? Last thing we need is a butt hurt hurricane on our hands. Besides…do you want to know who this man REALLY is?!
The crowd responds with a chaotic ‘YES’.
Mac – Without further adue…your NEW…Executive Director…NATHANIEL BROADWAY!!!
The audience rises to their feet as Broadway removes the mask from his face. He holds his hands up in thanks, and with humility bows to the crowd. Mac hands him the microphone.
Broadway – First of all, I can’t say I have ever felt as ugly as I have when wearing that mask.
Laughter bounces off the auditorium walls.
Broadway – But most importantly, I want thank you Mac for giving me a trust that very few have been fortunate enough to attain. I want you to know that the EWC is singularly the most important thing in my life. I care about this place…*he points to the crowd*…And I care about each and every one of you!
The crowd cheers.
Broadway – I’ll give you the best of Nathaniel Broadway, and that is a promise. I give each and every one of you…and you Mac…my undying word that I am here to help make the EWC better than it ever was. I’m here for the fans, for the roster, for the staff. I know I’m no great champion from the past…but you best believe that I have the heart, the will power, and the stone cold determination to brand the ass of the world with the EWC logo.
The crowd rises to their feet with applause, Mac claps along with a smile on his face.
Broadway – With that, I give you the incomparable Danny Mac.
Broadway hands the microphone back to Mac and the two exchange in a friendly handshake.
