Live on Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports, TSN2
MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL
Monday Night Brawl is a professional wrestling television program for Extreme Wrestling Corporation (EWC) that currently airs Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports and TSN2 in Canada. The show's name, which is sometimes stylized as MNB, is also used to refer to the Brawl brand, in which EWC employees are assigned to work and perform on that program; the other programs and brands are Rampage and HCW. The show originally debuted in North America on the CTV & ESPN Network on April 7,1997. It remained there for a number of years until Brawl was moved to SPIKE TV and SCI-FI. In 2008, the show was moved to Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports and the new TSN2. Since its launch in 1997, Brawl continues to air on Monday nights. Brawl is generally seen as the company's flagship program due to its longer history, higher ratings, and emphasis on pay-per-views. It is the second longest running weekly episodic television show in history, behind only WWE's Monday Raw.

EWC BRAWL
December 21st, 2009
Pepsi Center, Denver Colorado
Commentators: Joe Aiello & Jeremy Piven
Announcer: Jessica Stroup
Head Ref: Earl Hebner
Backstage help: Ace Heart
The scene opens up with a shot of a grinning President Mac. The Denver crowed explodes in cheers as the camera pans out and sitting next to Mac is a tied up APW President, Hurricane Jeff. Jeff shakes his head but and mumbles some words that can't be heard because of the tape over his mouth
MAC: "Last night, this guy over here (points to Jeff) and I got into a little fight over at his arena"
The boos come thundering down as chants of "APW SUCKS" echos throughout the building
MAC: (turning to Jeff)"You know, you should really consider hiring new Security Guards"
The boos turn into laughter
MAC: "Because I'm in such a good mood here today, I think I'm going to grants some wishes... I'm in a, ask and you shall receive kind of mood"
Hurricane Jeff starts hopping up and down in the chair
MAC" Awwww, does Hurricane Jeff have something to say? Are you upset at what happened last night? Do you still have some of that toilet paper shoved in your mouth? Is the ego in pain?
Jeff just lowers his head
MAC: "Ok... I said I would grant some wishes, so I will let you make one too I guess"
Mac rips the tape off of Jeff’s mouth
JEFF: "First of all, ouch... Secondly, what the hell is this Mac? You know my guys are going to come down here an..."
Mac covers Jeff's mouth back up
MAC: "I'm sorry, but that wasn't in the form of a Question,,, Now lets try one more time Mmmkay?"
Mac takes rips the tape off one more time
JEFF: "I don’t see how that..."
Mac threatens to put the tape back on
JEFF: "ok ok, I wish to know what the hell you are thinking Mac? Not only was this the dumbest idea you have ever had, I am going to make personally sure that yo..."
Mac covers Jeff's mouth back up
MAC: "You really do talk to much"
The fans laugh
MAC: "Jeffy Jeffy, this wasn't my idea. I had every intention of going into your arena and fighting you fair and square. So quick to point fingers aren't you Mister President. No no, I can't take credit for this. You see, I showed up to your arena with my Entourage of Support. I had 6 of my Superstars voluntarily show up to have my back, while you had... none? I think you should keep that in the back of your mind Jeffy. Remember how you were outside, with no help. No one came to your aid. No, for the rest of your pay per view event, not one APW superstar came looking for you. Not one made a fuss about you being gone. Not one. I think you need to focus on that part a little closely. While you may have thought that with your little tantrums and rants that you brain washed your roster into thinking that the EWC is one big bad place to work, it was my EWC that came to make sure that YOUR APW did nothing to get involved.
And Jeffy, that was the easy part, because no one gave a flying rat’s ass about you. Sure Hades, Biggs and Level One came to me and gave me some song and dance, but that's about it my friend. Even Vic Diaz had enough of your crap and switched sides. Even I saw that coming"
Jeff starts bouncing in the chair again
MAC: "I'm going to take it you have something to say... and because I'm in such a good mood, I'll allow it"
Mac takes the tape off once again
JEFF: "If this wasn't your plan, then whose was it Mac? You’re trying to say I have a traitor, and I want to know who..."
MAC: "Really? That's what your wish is?
JEFF: "Yes Mac, I'll play your stupid game... Grant me the damn wish"
Mac covers Jeffs mouth
MAC: "And here I was ready to let you go..."
The fans laugh as Jeff drops his head again
MAC: "But Jeff, I promise... The person responsible for you being thrown into the trunk last night, and being tied up here today... WILL be revealed later tonight..."
The fans cheer
MAC: "But for now... Live from Denver it's...."
The crowed screams "MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL"
Revelations by Audioslave begins to play as the show starts off with a video footage detailing historic events over the Monday Night Brawls twelve year history. Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator and then The Rev all with the World Championship.
The opening pyros hit and here we go
AIELLO: Hello and Welcome to the second last Brawl of the year, as always I am Joe Aiello and with me is Jeremy Piven
PIVEN: Ho mother *bleep*ing ho
AIELLO: What a great showing by President Mac last night, entering a very hostile environment and showing the world that he can still wrestle
PIVEN: It was a very hardcore style match, the highlight for me is the toilet paper being shoved in Jeffs mouth, it was about time someone shut him up
AIELLO: Speaking of highlights, our own Pence Weatherlight won a title in APW last night, and Mac was nice enough to reward him with the night off here tonight
PIVEN: Yes, congratulations to Pence Weatherlight and even Vic Diaz who won last night and turned on the APW
AIELLO: This is a great week for the EWC, with the, what I call a victory for EWC last night in APW, then a great episode of Brawl here tonight, and the Hall of Fame in Los Angeles on Wednesday
PIVEN: Don't forget it was also announced this weekend that the EWC PPV Rumble in the Bronx will take place January 31st. So a whole lot is riding on matches from here on out as everyone on the EWC/HCW roster will want a spot on that Card.
AIELLO: Out of curiosity, whatever happened to Jason Burgess?
PIVEN: Who?
AIELLO: Never mind
PIVEN: we are almost set for our first match here tonight, but first... A word from one of our sponsors
