Live on Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports, TSN2
MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL
Monday Night Brawl is a professional wrestling television program for Extreme Wrestling Corporation (EWC) that currently airs Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports and TSN2 in Canada. The show's name, which is sometimes stylized as MNB, is also used to refer to the Brawl brand, in which EWC employees are assigned to work and perform on that program; the other programs and brands are Rampage and HCW. The show originally debuted in North America on the CTV & ESPN Network on April 7,1997. It remained there for a number of years until Brawl was moved to SPIKE TV and SCI-FI. In 2008, the show was moved to Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports and the new TSN2. Since its launch in 1997, Brawl continues to air on Monday nights. Brawl is generally seen as the company's flagship program due to its longer history, higher ratings, and emphasis on pay-per-views. It is the second longest running weekly episodic television show in history, behind only WWE's Monday Raw.

EWC BRAWL
January 11, 2010
New Orleans Arena, New Orleans
Commentators: Joe Aiello & Jeremy Piven
Announcer: Jessica Stroup
Head Ref: Earl Hebner
Backstage help: Ace Heart
Revelations by Audioslave begins to play as the show starts off with a video footage detailing historic events over the Monday Night Brawls twelve year history. Images of previous EWC Champions are shown, starting with the very first Champion Black Ninja, then moving onto Big Mac and Steve Bennett. Sped up footage then shows a special montage of Memphis Reigns, Shadow Man, Hirsh Valentine, Jesse Nunez, Hurricane Jeff, Moses Lake, James Chambers, BDC, Jay Cee, Stray, Gladiator and then The Rev all with the World Championship.
The opening pyros hit and here we go.
The energy in the New Orleans Arena is exciting. Spotlights circle around the arena as the 23,500 fans in the venue are shown in a wide angle shot. The camera then pans across the fans in a sped of fashion and comes to a pause on some scary looking hardcore fans
A chant begins of “MNB, MNB, MNB, MNB!” The screams from the crowd are certainly deafening to the ears. Those screams soon change to an uproar of an even higher pitch of screams if such a thing even existed as New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees makes his way down to the ring. Drew soaks in the cheers and then climbs through the ropes with microphone in hand, waiting for the chants of MVP, MVP, MVP, MVP!! to die down before starting to speak
BREES: (laughs) I demand a recount
The fans laugh
BREES: Obviously Manning is very deserving, He’s had a great season, and their team has had a great season. We had a great season with what we accomplished and what we still hope to accomplish. I definitely feel like with that award so much credit goes to your team, obviously with the opportunity that they give you to be successful. It’s a tremendous honor to even be in that category.
The fans continue to cheer
BREES: We obviously have a tough weekend ahead of us, but I am certain that with all of you backing us up, we will come away with the Victory. So thank you all so much for your support and please, ENJOY THE SHOW
Brees heads to the back slapping fives all the way
AIELLO: Hello and Welcome to the first Brawl of the year, as always I am Joe Aiello and with me is Jeremy Piven
PIVEN: Drew *bleep*ing Brees, what a class act
AIELLO: We hope everyone had a great Holiday and a…
PIVEN: No one cares Aiello, after Rampage made it’s return, all people want from us is action. Hard Core Action.
AIELLO: Well there is plenty of it tonight, we have Pence taking on a Mystery Opponent and then the Main Event is a Battle Royal with a whole lot at stake
PIVEN: It’s true, the Winner of the Main Event will get a cool $100,000.00 cash and gets to pick a number between 1 and 30 as to his placement at Rumble in the Bronx
AIELLO: Any feelings on who will win here tonight?
PIVEN: Money has to be on Project Zzyzx and William Rast being in the final two. These two have been the staple of Brawl as of late and both have already won Battle Royals recently. There is lots of experience in survival between these two rookies.
AIELLO: My money is on… All Hail the Sedition.
PIVEN: Your doing it again
AIELLO: What?
PIVEN: Nevermind, it seems we have something going on backstage
The scene fades from the starting intro of Brawl with Pence Weatherlight walking down a long hallway, he looks around, and as soon as he turns a corner he comes face to face with about five guards in front of a door. One of the guards walks up to Pence and begins to talk to him in the rude manner.
Guard: Get out of here. This place is off limits at the request of President Mac and Max Carter!
Pence: I know Jeff is in there, you let him go, or things will get real ugly.
All five guards tense up, but the one who is speaking gets into Pence's face.
Guard: As I said before, little [censored]. No one is allowed into the room without the permission of Max Carter or President Mac.
The guard pokes Pence in the chest and continues to speak.
Guard: You got that, Reaper?
The guards all begin to laugh as Pence begins to back away with a sigh, but then with one quick move Pence has decked the guard who was talking shit to him with a quick uppercut. The other four guards get into motion, but are nailed by the other three members of N.A.L., and in a matter of seconds Pence and the other members of N.A.L. have put a close to the guards in front of the door.
Shadow Man: Are you sure you want to do this man?
Deadpool: Man that was fun. Nothing like a good beating to get the blood pumping.
Pence: Well we have already done it, not like we can take it back can we? Anyways, Rast go get ready for your match. Deadpool, Shadow, you guys go to your locker rooms, if there is anyone who is going to get caught in the act it is going to be me. Not the N.A.L..
They all nod their head as they run off, all going to their locker rooms to prepare for the night's festivities, and with that Pence begins to walk to the door. But before he can get there a voice rings in his ears from behind him.
Voice: What are you doing over there?
Pence turns to look at Max Carter as he walks up to him and gets into his face.
Max Carter: I expected that you would try this sooner or later, Pence, and look at you not dissapointing one bit. It was a brave thing of you to accept my challenge, but it was stupid of you to think it would be so easy. Jeff isn't here, nimrod.
Pence takes a step back and growls a bit in frustration.
Max Carter: But you get a consolation prize for effort.
Pence: Oh and what is that?
Max Carter begins to smile wickedly as he replies.
Max Carter: As of this moment...you are banned to participate in the main event tonight, as a matter of fact you are to be ejected from the arena right before the match begins!
Pence's eyes go wide with anger as he restrains himself from punching Max in the face full force for what he has done.
Pence: That is not much of a prize for me.
Max Carter: Who said that the prize was for you? I gave it to myself for the amount of effort I put into thinking up where to hide Jeff.
Max pats Pence on the shoulder.
Max Carter: Try to enjoy the night, I know I already am.
The scene fades to black with Max Carter walking away and Pence's head hanging in defeat.

“Hello there”
Camera zooms out to show Shadow Man standing shirtless
“I know what your thinking, how in the HELL can I look as good and sexy as Shadow Man? How can I be so ripped and yet maintain such an amazing charm that has girls begging… yes… begging for more?”
The camera switches to the left hand view and Shadow quickly looks into the camera
“I’ll tell you”
The camera is back to the normal view
“Every week I will help each and every one of you in TV land to look and feel better. Today’s first tip comes from the land of Diet. Yes, I said the ‘d’ word.
When I first started my training I ate something pretty much every 2-3 hours, never "stuffing" myself, but never letting myself get hungry. Tons of water throughout the day...
For Breakfast I have 1/2 cup egg whites and 2 eggs. Oatmeal - no sugar, a protein bar 2-3 hours later. (the best oatmeal is this stuff called McCann's Steel Cut Oatmeal. It takes about a half hour to cook, but you just make enough to last a couple weeks. add apple sauce and cinnamon to improve the taste.)
Then for Lunch eat chicken and veggies/brown rice A protein bar 2-3 hours later.
Finally for dinner eat fish or chicken with salad and vegetables. Balsamic vinegar for dressing and then a couple more Optimum Whey Protein Shakes throughout the night and right before bed.
While eating a protein/carb mix every 2 hours all day, I'd wind up having about 8 - 10 "tiny" meals instead of 3 big meals over the course of a day.
This is by the far the most important thing to do in order to add lean, solid mass.
No carbs at night, but plenty during the day. This kind of diet kept my blood sugar even and gave me the requisite energy needed for the physicality of the role...
Never do any of that carb-starve crap
Till next time, say hi to your mother for me”
