The Extreme Wrestling Corporation presents
Live on Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports, TSN2
MONDAY NIGHT BRAWL
Monday Night Brawl is a professional wrestling television program for Extreme Wrestling Corporation (EWC) that currently airs Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports and TSN2 in Canada. The show's name, which is sometimes stylized as MNB, is also used to refer to the Brawl brand, in which EWC employees are assigned to work and perform on that program; the other programs and brands are Rampage and HCW. The show originally debuted in North America on the CTV & ESPN Network on April 7,1997. It remained there for a number of years until Brawl was moved to SPIKE TV and SCI-FI. In 2008, the show was moved to Showtime HD, SciFi HD, SkySports and the new TSN2. Since its launch in 1997, Brawl continues to air on Monday nights. Brawl is generally seen as the company's flagship program due to its longer history, higher ratings, and emphasis on pay-per-views. It is the second longest running weekly episodic television show in history

Aeillo: man this first match is gonna be a powder keg. We got the International Champion Kyle Deathlocke versus former New Age Legion member William Rast. God these two superstars are phenominal.
Piven: I so agree Joey. Look around us. The Irish fans are in a frenzy. They wanna see the carnage unfold before their eyes. They wanna see broken bones. They wanna see E...W...C!
Aeillo: Have you ever had hagus JP? Very good.
Piven: Um Joey....that's a Scottish dish if I'm not mistaken?
Aeillo: Really?
Piven: And let's go over to the beautiful Jessica Stroup for the introductions.
Suddenly Survival of the Sickest blares over the loudspeakers. Balthazar cross comes out from behind the curtain, microphone in hand, and stands at the top of the entrance ramp. The crowd roars as Cross stares out into the ocean of fans that surround him. Slowly he pulls the mic to his mouth.
Cross: Ladies and gentlemen. I have an announcement to make, so please be patient and the fun will begin momentarily.
The crowd begins to boo as Cross stands at the entrance ramp like a dumbass.
Cross: Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry to announce that the first match tonight, the International Champion Kyle Deathlocke...
The crowd boos loudly as Deathlocke's name is announced.
Cross: And William Rast....
The crowd roars loudly.
Cross: will...not be competing tonight.
The crowd boos louder than when Deathlocke's name was announced.
Cross: Now I know this sucks. trust me, I feel your pain. But that damn volcano in Iceland...well the damn ash has covered the skies one more time. And to make matters worse, the French airline that Mr. Deathlocke and Mr. Rast booked flights on, refuses to fly. Now let me tell you this, the damn French are afraid of their own puny shadows. So a little ash and smoke is blanketing the sky. So what. The EWC has a policy of supplying entertainment to the masses of people that watch our show. If you wanna blame anyone...blame the French. Bunch of chicken-censor- if you ask me.
Piven: Did he just curse on Global television?
Aeillo: uh...
Cross: Thank you very much Dublin and ENJOY...THE...SHOW!
Survival of the Sickest blares over the PA system once more as Balthazar Cross drops the mic and walks backstage.
