David Arquette: Well folks, I can’t believe ‘m saying this, but WELCOME TO FRIDAY NIGHT RAMPAGE!!!
Scott Caan: If I wasn’t paid stupid amounts of money David, I’d probably ne completely lost for words at the moment, but I DO get paid stupid amounts of money, and I’m NOT lost for words, not at all!
David Arquette: Erm, so we haven’t been live for years, and that’s the best thing you can come up with?
Scott Caan: Yep.
David Arquette: . . . Ok . . . Anyway . . . Like I said, we are back in business, and we have an amazing show in store for you tonight!
Scott Caan: Oh yes indeed! But up first, we have Rev and Gladiator about to come out here and address us all!
David Arquette: Erm, no we don’t Scott. They don’t work here anymore, remember?
Scott Caan: Really? Since when?
David Arquette: Since ages ago. We have new management on Rampage now, namely Ashton Daniels and Ace Heart, along with BDC as co VP.
Scott Caan: And when the hell did this happen? And please tell me Mac is still here at least!
David Arquette: Well Mac is here yes, he’s still the president of the EWC. BDC, Ashton and Ace were appointed staff a few months ago.
Scott Caan: Well fuck me in the ass with a broom and call me Daisy!
David Arquette: . . .
As David and Scott prattle on about nonsense, the EWC-Tron flares up and shows Friday Night Rampage through the years. Highlight reels show past champions like Shadow Man and Cameron Hayden, and also focuses on three of the most dominant stables ever to have appeared in the EWC, namely The Sedition, FORCE and FEAR. The end of the clip is dedicated to the most infamous of Rampage’s GM’s, Michael Saint. There is a huge pop from the crowd during the montage, especially for Saint.
David Arquette: Great memories from some of the best in the business. Will they ever return, well I hope so.
Scott Caan: . . . .
David Arquette: Are you crying?
Scott Caan: They were great times David, and I miss them, ok?
David Arquette: I feel you brother, but hey, we’ve got new times ahead now, so that’s good right?
Scott stops crying instantly.
Scott Caan: Awesome!
David Arquette: Ok, well on with the show then!!!
'The Fountain' by Pendulum hits the PA system and Ashton Daniels, the General Manager of Friday Night Rampage walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand and dressed in his best tux. He gets a good pop from the old school wrestling fans in attendance who share similar views on the extreme/clean debate. He sucks in the moment for a second.
Ashton: Ladies and gentleman... welcome to FRIDAY NIGHT RAMPAGE!!!
Huge pop.
Ashton: We're here for our final show in Mexico City for a little while, so we want to leave this great country with a bang. Tonight we have some great matches and some top new talent on the show who we're really excited to have on our roster. First though I'd like to address our main event and what a main event we have for you...the newly formed tag team of Heretic's Whisper taking on BDC's...
Massive boos from the extreme fans, and a cheer from the fans that want a safer, more family orientated product.
Ashton: I know how most of you are feeling... you don't have to work with the guy... Anyway BDC's protege Xander Kage, and as you all know, he'll be teaming with... that's right the former EWC champion himself... 'THE ELITE' JAY CEE!
A "Jay Cee" chant begins from the crowd.
Arquette: Wow it really is great to be back... I've been sitting at home watching Joe Aiello and Jeremy Piven thinking I want a piece of this action again.
Ashton: Anyway David and Scott don't bore the hell out of the TV audience with your usual smooze and earn your money... enjoy ladies and gentlemen.
'The Fountain' hits once again as Ashton leaves the staging area.
Caan: What the hell's that suppose to mean... smooze... who does he think he is?!
Arquette: Your boss! Anyway it's a great main event for us all.
